- 0:21Speaker 1: You are listening to Eagles postgame analysis here at the
- 0:23Speaker 1: Philadelphia Sports Table podcast show, the longest running weekly Philly
- 0:27Speaker 1: sports podcast show in the world. The Philadelphia Eagles are
- 0:32Speaker 1: Super Bold champions, beating the Kansas City Chiefs down in
- 0:37Speaker 1: New Orleans by a score of forty to twenty two.
- 0:41Speaker 1: Jalen Hurts is the MVP. What a season.
- 0:45Speaker 2: I am.
- 0:45Speaker 1: Jeff Warren here at my buddy, Eric Leonard. We got
- 0:48Speaker 1: the chance to watch the game together. Buddy, we actually
- 0:51Speaker 1: are in the same room recording this unbelievable Eagles win
- 0:54Speaker 1: the Super Bowl.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Holy shit, man, Holy shit, it's fucking unbelievable. I mean,
- 0:59Speaker 2: I honestly thought are going to win the game. I
- 1:01Speaker 2: didn't like I said. I said during the game multiple times.
- 1:04Speaker 2: I didn't have to kick the shit out of him. Yeah,
- 1:06Speaker 2: didn't see that coming. I thought the front four was
- 1:09Speaker 2: just gaining steam from week four and on and on
- 1:13Speaker 2: and on. Vic Fangio had that defensive humming, a defense humming,
- 1:17Speaker 2: and just this game right here was the culmination of
- 1:20Speaker 2: them like, oh, we're the best defensive line of football. Yeah,
- 1:23Speaker 2: we're gonna kick the shit out of you. And they
- 1:25Speaker 2: dominated the Chiefs up front. John Carter especially, he made
- 1:29Speaker 2: this whole thing work today. He did.
- 1:31Speaker 1: We are not going to get into grades like we
- 1:33Speaker 1: usually do, folks. You know why because the fucking the
- 1:36Speaker 1: whole game is an a that everything about this game. Yes,
- 1:39Speaker 1: even though sakwon Barkley only had fifty seven yards on
- 1:43Speaker 1: twenty five carries, he averaged two point three yards per carry,
- 1:47Speaker 1: guess what, it's fine. I don't care. Nobody cares. The
- 1:50Speaker 1: Chiefs came into this game wanting to neutralize him. You know,
- 1:54Speaker 1: we were talking about it, not only on our Opposition
- 1:56Speaker 1: Territory podcast, but with Brendley Gouton on the show last week.
- 2:00Speaker 2: How is this?
- 2:01Speaker 1: How is this team going to neutralize the Eagles? But
- 2:03Speaker 1: I mean is the Chiefs? How are the Chiefs gon
- 2:05Speaker 1: to neutralize the Eagles? They had to stop Saquon Barkley,
- 2:07Speaker 1: they did that, but guess what whoa Devonte Smith, oh
- 2:10Speaker 1: Aj Brown, Dallas Goddard, John Dotson, all the weapons on
- 2:15Speaker 1: the offensive side of the ball.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Eric, But you were talking about the defense too.
- 2:19Speaker 1: I know. I'm all over the place too. Yeah, I'm
- 2:20Speaker 1: all over the fucking place right now because of what
- 2:23Speaker 1: has just happened. My god, unbelievable. I don't know you
- 2:27Speaker 1: wanted to get into a theme though, you know when
- 2:29Speaker 1: we were when we were upstairs in our kit in
- 2:31Speaker 1: my kitchen area, you wanted to get into a theme
- 2:34Speaker 1: with with regard to the younger kids, right, basically saying,
- 2:39Speaker 1: what do you mean we talk about? Oh, I thought
- 2:41Speaker 1: you were talking about like the one theme you wanted
- 2:43Speaker 1: to get into, like younger kids, being like like, oh, yeah,
- 2:47Speaker 1: you don't.
- 2:47Speaker 2: You don't know what it's like. No, not through this,
- 2:50Speaker 2: So like okay, so when they want A couple of
- 2:52Speaker 2: years ago, we were both together with our buddies. Yeah,
- 2:55Speaker 2: and it was pure shock. Yes, it was like, oh
- 2:58Speaker 2: my god, this actually happened in my life time at
- 3:00Speaker 2: like age forty three for two, you know, almost fifty now,
- 3:05Speaker 2: but like it's still that doesn't go away, Like, holy shit,
- 3:09Speaker 2: my dad's seventy four. This is his second super Bowl
- 3:12Speaker 2: in his lifetime. This is my second one in my lifetime.
- 3:16Speaker 2: These kids, god damn it, that are fifteen years old
- 3:20Speaker 2: and thinks this happens every six years. Wow, yeah, no
- 3:23Speaker 2: it doesn't. Okay, it does not happen. It takes a
- 3:26Speaker 2: lot of it takes a lot of time. This is
- 3:28Speaker 2: amazing that this is happening right now. And to go
- 3:31Speaker 2: back to your earlier point, they the lmost ran like chiefs,
- 3:35Speaker 2: ran like a box and one on Saquon Barkley like
- 3:38Speaker 2: you're you're not gonna beat us, We'll let everyone else
- 3:40Speaker 2: be the one guy didn't neutralize. And this is a
- 3:43Speaker 2: Jalen Hurts God damn Jalen Hurts man. Yeah. Wow, he
- 3:47Speaker 2: took He took on that pressure, he took on the challenge.
- 3:51Speaker 2: He was amazing tonight. It was and like just not
- 3:54Speaker 2: just efficient, but he made some amazing plays with his feet.
- 3:57Speaker 2: He was the top rusher of the game. And like
- 3:59Speaker 2: I that any bullshit, Jalen Hurts isn't the guy. I've
- 4:04Speaker 2: been hard on him on the show. Absolutely, we all have.
- 4:07Speaker 1: And rightfully so from time to time when he's not
- 4:09Speaker 1: making good decisions. This game, he came into it one
- 4:13Speaker 1: obviously confident. You could actually tell this was a different
- 4:15Speaker 1: Jalen Hurts than two years ago in the Super Bowl.
- 4:18Speaker 1: But we have been critical of him when it has
- 4:20Speaker 1: been deserved, that we praised him when it's been deserved
- 4:22Speaker 1: as well. But today, at the end of the day,
- 4:24Speaker 1: he got it done. MVP amazing and he deserves it
- 4:28Speaker 1: and the whole offense. But honestly, I'll just say that
- 4:31Speaker 1: the defense won this game. The offense was amazing, but
- 4:35Speaker 1: the defense just dominated the Chiefs up front. I can't
- 4:39Speaker 1: put like, how many Chiefs offensive lineman do we see
- 4:43Speaker 1: crying on the sideline, No.
- 4:46Speaker 2: Crying. These are grown men, professional athletes. They're crying on
- 4:51Speaker 2: this because Jalen Carter and the rest of the defensive line,
- 4:55Speaker 2: my favorite player, Jalen Carter, the new Jerome Brown, kick
- 4:59Speaker 2: their fucking ass. Yes he didn't. I don't think he
- 5:02Speaker 2: had a sack today. Gelling Carter, I don't believe so.
- 5:05Speaker 2: But but guess what, it didn't matter, like it didn't
- 5:07Speaker 2: his his his effect on the offensive line, the internal,
- 5:11Speaker 2: the inside of their line. Yeah, he destroyed them, he did,
- 5:14Speaker 2: and he allowed everyone around them to make those plays.
- 5:16Speaker 2: And then the Cooper Degen was amazing, Kenyon Mitchell was amazing.
- 5:21Speaker 2: This goes Howie Roseman. First second round picks and they
- 5:25Speaker 2: their rookies won the ring on the rookie year. That's
- 5:29Speaker 2: incredible and Vic Vangio deserves all the credit. I'm all
- 5:32Speaker 2: over the place too, because yes, I didn't see the
- 5:34Speaker 2: defense kicking that much ass this game.
- 5:36Speaker 1: I knew they were going to be a force me too,
- 5:38Speaker 1: but I didn't know how much of a force they
- 5:40Speaker 1: were going to be.
- 5:41Speaker 2: I don't know They're going to hurt them. Yeah, like
- 5:43Speaker 2: they kicked Patrick Mahomes ass, dude. By the end of
- 5:46Speaker 2: the third quarter, the Chiefs had scored six points. That's it.
- 5:50Speaker 2: One touchdown, there was one. There were a couple of
- 5:52Speaker 2: plays where you and I. You and I looked at
- 5:55Speaker 2: each other and went, Mahomes is like shaken, yes, like
- 5:58Speaker 2: he's he's back there, a little jumpy and throwing balls
- 6:03Speaker 2: in the ground, especially that that one to uh for
- 6:05Speaker 2: the first down Uh to uh to Kelsey through in
- 6:09Speaker 2: the dirt, and it was like, oh, worm burners, shaky knees. Okay,
- 6:15Speaker 2: this guy's a three time champion. Holy ship that he
- 6:18Speaker 2: doesn't look like he doesn't look like that. Yeah, he
- 6:20Speaker 2: does not look like look.
- 6:21Speaker 1: We also have to acknowledge the fact that there I
- 6:25Speaker 1: think there are only three Eagles who have won this
- 6:29Speaker 1: Super Bowl who were on the first Super Bowl team,
- 6:33Speaker 1: Brandon Graham, Lane Johnson, and I think Rick Lobato.
- 6:37Speaker 2: I think did we confirm that. I don't know. I
- 6:39Speaker 2: don't know. Somebody out there confirmed that for us. But
- 6:43Speaker 2: that's that's all. Like Brandon Graham closes his career out,
- 6:46Speaker 2: yes with a super Bowl after tearing his Yes, that's awesome.
- 6:54Speaker 2: He came back and he and he was effective. Yes,
- 6:57Speaker 2: And but again I Jordan Davis, the interior, the defensive
- 7:00Speaker 2: line completely controlled this game. Those are the guys. Jordan
- 7:04Speaker 2: Davis very up and down. You know, I talked about
- 7:06Speaker 2: during the game, what an up and down season for him? Yea,
- 7:09Speaker 2: and kind of a shaky first round pick. A couple
- 7:11Speaker 2: of times it looked like, but my god, that size,
- 7:13Speaker 2: that bulk, the meanness, the toughness with Jalen Carter, and
- 7:17Speaker 2: friggin my god, Milton was just oh, Milton Williams was
- 7:21Speaker 2: one unbelievable, unbelieved.
- 7:23Speaker 1: I am absolutely surprised that the Eagles sacked Patrick Mahomes
- 7:27Speaker 1: six times. Six times. I'm looking at the stat sheet
- 7:30Speaker 1: right here. We know how dominant Jalen Carter was because
- 7:33Speaker 1: of what you were just talking about. He's getting held
- 7:35Speaker 1: on every single play, and of course the refs can't.
- 7:38Speaker 1: They can't call holding every single player. The game would
- 7:40Speaker 1: take six hours. Jalen Carter is at the bottom of
- 7:43Speaker 1: the stat sheet and with two quarterback hits. It does
- 7:47Speaker 1: not The stat sheet does not resemble at all the
- 7:50Speaker 1: effectiveness of him. Same with Nolan Smith. He's at the
- 7:54Speaker 1: bottom of the stat sheet with only two quarterback hits.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Doesn't matter, It doesn't matter at all. Credible they were
- 8:00Speaker 1: getting into the backfield. Mahomes was just he was absolutely
- 8:04Speaker 1: panicked at times, didn't know where he was going to
- 8:07Speaker 1: try to get the ball.
- 8:08Speaker 2: It was incredible that the fact that he looked panicked
- 8:12Speaker 2: as a how many how many years pro yes, and
- 8:15Speaker 2: like a multi chance because he's got three Super Bowls. Yeah,
- 8:18Speaker 2: but like he looks scared tonight. A couple of times
- 8:20Speaker 2: he really did because they were on his ass. And
- 8:22Speaker 2: like you just said, bottom of the stat sheet didn't matter,
- 8:26Speaker 2: like like the the the cause and effect of them. Yeah,
- 8:30Speaker 2: my god. And that was the whole game. And they
- 8:33Speaker 2: had to stop running the ball of the Chiefs. Their
- 8:34Speaker 2: defense was on the field the whole time because the
- 8:36Speaker 2: offense held the ball. I say that to go to this,
- 8:40Speaker 2: how the fuck Nick Sirianni out coach and not checkers.
- 8:45Speaker 2: We're talking like chess. Yes, he dominated Andy Reid as
- 8:49Speaker 2: a coach and Vic Fangio.
- 8:53Speaker 1: That's what it look You tald. You want to talk
- 8:56Speaker 1: about the Chiefs rushing attack, excuse me.
- 8:58Speaker 2: In this game, go ahead.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Patrick Mahomes was the leading rusher with four carries for
- 9:03Speaker 1: twenty five yards. You had Isaiah Pacheco with three carries
- 9:08Speaker 1: for seven yards. Somebody Kareem Hunt. We were at the
- 9:11Speaker 1: I actually thought Kareem Hunt was gonna was gonna have
- 9:14Speaker 1: like sixty yards in this game, perhaps three rushes for
- 9:18Speaker 1: nine yards. And Sama jp Ryan he was in the
- 9:20Speaker 1: fourth quarter. He had that one rush for eight yards.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Forty nine yards of rushing for the Chiefs. They couldn't
- 9:27Speaker 1: rush the ball. Receiving yes, two hundred and fifty seven yards,
- 9:31Speaker 1: and that is garbage time. That's garbage time type of
- 9:33Speaker 1: stuff that you're getting from Patrick Mahomes and the receiving corps.
- 9:37Speaker 1: They were just shut down. They were shut down the
- 9:40Speaker 1: Chiefs offense. And it leads me to believe, are we
- 9:43Speaker 1: gonna see the same type of Chiefs next year that
- 9:48Speaker 1: we have seen in the past. This really the Philadelphia
- 9:50Speaker 1: Eagles really could have just like toppled that tree over
- 9:55Speaker 1: that strong tree that that that the Chiefs have always been.
- 10:00Speaker 2: I think that's come tumbling down. Yeah, but I'm not
- 10:03Speaker 2: sure if it's completely down. But what this is, though,
- 10:05Speaker 2: I think for them, is that the Chiefs are going
- 10:08Speaker 2: to retool. Yeah, not completely dismantle, right, but they have
- 10:11Speaker 2: to change what they do. Yes, like they they won
- 10:14Speaker 2: every game this year by like six points yea, barely
- 10:17Speaker 2: one yep, huge credit. My god, they're like what fifteen
- 10:21Speaker 2: to two this year. Yeah. I'm not saying they got
- 10:23Speaker 2: to the super Bowl exactly, but they had to learn
- 10:26Speaker 2: from this game. WHOA, we got to change. Yes, there's
- 10:28Speaker 2: no way we can get back to the super Bowl
- 10:30Speaker 2: because a team like that doing what they're doing. Do
- 10:33Speaker 2: we bulk up on defense? Do we go all offense?
- 10:36Speaker 1: This?
- 10:36Speaker 2: This will change their entire organization. It actually, it absolutely
- 10:40Speaker 2: has to.
- 10:40Speaker 1: Yeah, and that's why I'm thinking that Tree is that
- 10:43Speaker 1: Tree's come to the end. It's gonna need to retool
- 10:45Speaker 1: so much like you just said, would I want to
- 10:48Speaker 1: We know that. Look, we know that Jalen Hurts is
- 10:49Speaker 1: the MVP. You can say that he's the offensive MVP. Eric,
- 10:54Speaker 1: I wonder who the defensive MVP actually would be. You've
- 10:57Speaker 1: got Josh Sweat with six total tackles two and a
- 11:01Speaker 1: half sacks, two tackles for a lost three quarterback hits,
- 11:05Speaker 1: Milton Williams with two sacks, two tackles for a loss
- 11:08Speaker 1: and a quarterback hit. Yeah, there's so many people. Jordan
- 11:13Speaker 1: Davis had a great game. Let's mention Jordan Davis and
- 11:15Speaker 1: up and down Oh yeah, I'm sorry, up and down
- 11:17Speaker 1: seasons and uh he had a sack in this game,
- 11:21Speaker 1: amazingly enough.
- 11:23Speaker 2: I don't know. I think it's so tough to say.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Because Cooper Degene like when he interceded when he had
- 11:29Speaker 1: that pick six, and by the way, yes, every like
- 11:31Speaker 1: everybody knows on his birthday. Amazing to win the Super
- 11:34Speaker 1: Bowl on your freaking birthday and have a pick six
- 11:36Speaker 1: his sixteenth birthday.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Yeah, my god. When he was interviewed, I was like,
- 11:40Speaker 2: my guy, he might he might take my daughter to
- 11:43Speaker 2: the prom. Yeah? Shit, I is it Cooper dejen or
- 11:49Speaker 2: do you think Josh Sweat the MVP of the defense?
- 11:52Speaker 2: Can there be? Can there be an MVP the defense
- 11:55Speaker 2: in this game? I'm I'm not always a stack guy,
- 11:59Speaker 2: I understand and like the big thing to Jai and
- 12:01Speaker 2: Carter like Josh Sweat is the guy?
- 12:04Speaker 1: Right?
- 12:04Speaker 2: Yeah? Dejeane had to pick six. To me, it's it's
- 12:07Speaker 2: obvious card Jen Carter. Carter ripped apart their entire offensive
- 12:11Speaker 2: line the entire game. He was held all fucking game,
- 12:15Speaker 2: and he was getting into the backfield constantly. There was
- 12:17Speaker 2: one play when when he when he knocked Homes in
- 12:20Speaker 2: the face and got the fifteen yard penalty. By the way, awesome,
- 12:22Speaker 2: don't give a ship, yes, like like that's one of
- 12:25Speaker 2: those you already got the end of, you already got
- 12:27Speaker 2: the turnover. Yeah, knock that asshole down the national television
- 12:30Speaker 2: like not not at a meme, but like send a message,
- 12:33Speaker 2: right yeah. Like but at the same time, he had
- 12:36Speaker 2: an arm around up his neck. Yes, it was like
- 12:39Speaker 2: it was like a wrestling hold. It was like, but
- 12:41Speaker 2: he still got through, still knocked him in the face.
- 12:44Speaker 2: He was he was doing that entire game. To me,
- 12:47Speaker 2: he's the m v P. But I understand if you
- 12:48Speaker 2: say sweater Degen as a fan, I get it. It's
- 12:51Speaker 2: it's got to be all three. I gotta be all three. Yeah,
- 12:54Speaker 2: it has to be.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Uh, are there any other themes that you want to
- 12:57Speaker 1: get into here? I mean, I feel it's we're we're
- 12:59Speaker 1: only we're only like thirteen minutes into this. But it's
- 13:02Speaker 1: like it's like what else do we say they fucking
- 13:04Speaker 1: killed them?
- 13:05Speaker 2: Yeah, killed them. There's not much to say. Like we
- 13:08Speaker 2: talked about Sirianni out coaching Andy Ree, which is a
- 13:10Speaker 2: shocking uh Vic Fangio having this defense just humming yeah
- 13:14Speaker 2: after Like we were scared a couple of times, right,
- 13:17Speaker 2: we were scared of next Sirianni after a week four Yeah,
- 13:19Speaker 2: you know, he was the only get the fans after
- 13:21Speaker 2: that one loss. Brought his kids into the press conference.
- 13:24Speaker 2: All of us were like, is he the guy? Yeah,
- 13:27Speaker 2: Like this is bad. And obviously somebody we talked about
- 13:29Speaker 2: this during the game. Somebody must have taken him aside
- 13:32Speaker 2: an adult in the room and said, hey, you gotta yeah,
- 13:37Speaker 2: you gotta change, like this is not working. And he
- 13:39Speaker 2: was very humble after this win. I like that, Like
- 13:42Speaker 2: he could have been a dick and did his whole
- 13:45Speaker 2: next to anything, but he didn't do it. It was
- 13:47Speaker 2: a very adult response to this victory. Kellen Moore, there
- 13:53Speaker 2: you go, what the hell I mean? Like like you said,
- 13:56Speaker 2: they're like they like I said earlier, they did a
- 13:58Speaker 2: box and one to take corner of the game. Yeah,
- 14:01Speaker 2: and the Eagles were like, cool, we're just gonna We're
- 14:03Speaker 2: gonna go to We're gonna go to our awesome receivers
- 14:05Speaker 2: have been there all year long. Yep. And Jalen Hurts
- 14:08Speaker 2: just don't just don't fuck this up. Yep. He had
- 14:10Speaker 2: one bad interception, his decision making was amazing throughout the game,
- 14:14Speaker 2: and he deserves all the accolades. He deserves all the
- 14:19Speaker 2: tribute at this point, any like I said, any bullshit
- 14:22Speaker 2: on his shoulder at this point, rip it off. Absolutely,
- 14:25Speaker 2: it's okay, he's he's not He's not the best quarterback
- 14:27Speaker 2: in the league, but right got to put him in
- 14:29Speaker 2: the top five. Absolutely, you have to do it.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Look, you know, throughout this season there were folks that
- 14:34Speaker 1: were talking to us on social media, making comments on
- 14:38Speaker 1: social about about Jalen Hurts, and it was after maybe
- 14:41Speaker 1: some poor performances here or there, but at the end
- 14:44Speaker 1: of the day, he was able to get this team
- 14:46Speaker 1: an offense where it needed to be one to get
- 14:48Speaker 1: to the Super to get through the playoffs. Okay, with
- 14:51Speaker 1: the help of Saquon Barkley, yes, but to have the
- 14:54Speaker 1: type of game that he did in this moment, in
- 14:58Speaker 1: this moment, when just two years ago it was a
- 15:02Speaker 1: massive failure. The experience from that previous Super Bowl. How
- 15:06Speaker 1: that translated to this one where he was able to
- 15:10Speaker 1: get the ball like you were talking about, down the
- 15:12Speaker 1: field to the receivers while Saquon Barkley was boxed up.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Davonte Smith four receptions for sixty nine yards seventeen point
- 15:21Speaker 1: three yards per reception. Of course, he had that long
- 15:23Speaker 1: of forty six which resulted in a touchdown. AJ Brown
- 15:26Speaker 1: catching a touchdown. He caught three balls for forty three yards.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Johan Dotson caught two balls for forty two yards. Saquon
- 15:33Speaker 1: Barkley threw the ball to him six times for a
- 15:36Speaker 1: total of forty yards. Saquon Barkley was actually really good
- 15:40Speaker 1: in the past game when they needed first downs. Saquon
- 15:43Speaker 1: Barkley came through. Dallas Goddard was only targeted twice, but
- 15:47Speaker 1: he caught both balls for twenty seven yards. And these receivers,
- 15:51Speaker 1: you know what, they don't have the they have great
- 15:53Speaker 1: receivers and AJ Brown, Davonte Smith after that, To be
- 15:58Speaker 1: honest with you, I mean Dotson, I mean he's basically
- 16:01Speaker 1: been forgotten for most of the season, but he came
- 16:04Speaker 1: through big today, especially that that that second drive of
- 16:08Speaker 1: the game where we thought he had the touchdown. What
- 16:11Speaker 1: what a great catch, What a great throw by Hurts.
- 16:15Speaker 1: You gotta give so much credit to the receiver, the
- 16:17Speaker 1: receivers on this team, and uh there's they're still gonna
- 16:20Speaker 1: be with this team next year, Eric, I love it,
- 16:22Speaker 1: still gonna be with him.
- 16:24Speaker 2: And they're they're a young team. They are. Yes, Like
- 16:27Speaker 2: we didn't even talk about the offensive line. Oh my gosh,
- 16:29Speaker 2: I mean yes, they were like talk about m v
- 16:33Speaker 2: P S. Jeff Stallin, Yes, yep, you bring him McKay
- 16:36Speaker 2: Beckton I made fun of on the pregame show, yes,
- 16:40Speaker 2: or the like the previous show, the preview show, I
- 16:44Speaker 2: was like, what a joke. Yes, he's pukeing everywhere already. Yeah,
- 16:47Speaker 2: he's a Jets loser. Jeff Stallin turns him into a
- 16:51Speaker 2: borderline Pro Bowl guard. Yep, my god, yes, are you
- 16:56Speaker 2: kidding me?
- 16:56Speaker 1: Ye?
- 16:56Speaker 2: Lane Johnson is still going. Yes, they have the tackle
- 17:00Speaker 2: on the other side. Joined mylotta. They have a young center,
- 17:03Speaker 2: he's fantastic. Cam Jurgens was great, Camp Jurgens. They got
- 17:05Speaker 2: Dickerson there, who's young. Two. Yep. They just keep drafting.
- 17:09Speaker 2: How he keeps drafting guys and they keep these They
- 17:12Speaker 2: keep the right coaches around just Stalin. Obviously, they bring
- 17:16Speaker 2: in Vic Fangio, but Stalin's Stalin deserves at least, Like,
- 17:20Speaker 2: is there a mini trophy for the for the Super Bowl?
- 17:23Speaker 2: Like to turn McKay Beckton and then keep that Kelsey
- 17:27Speaker 2: retires and everyone's like, oh my god, what the hell's
- 17:28Speaker 2: gonna happen? Yes, and what's gonna happen with the right
- 17:30Speaker 2: guard position? Yeah? Yeah, and guess what, they're just as
- 17:33Speaker 2: good as they ever were. And they bring in Barkley
- 17:36Speaker 2: he runs for over two thousand yards in regular season. Tonight,
- 17:40Speaker 2: what a game plan offensively. I talked a lot about
- 17:41Speaker 2: the defense, but like, offensively, for Hurts to be responsible
- 17:45Speaker 2: for three hundred yards offense three touchdowns, yeah, made one
- 17:48Speaker 2: bad decision and man like like, yeah, how many bad
- 17:53Speaker 2: decisions did this team make in this single game? Two?
- 17:56Speaker 2: Maybe three? Maybe two or three? Yeah, pops. And even
- 18:00Speaker 2: even at that point they're up like twenty points anyway,
- 18:02Speaker 2: So it just a flawless game for the most part.
- 18:05Speaker 2: And again, Sirianni absolutely housed Jennie Read tonight.
- 18:11Speaker 1: He absolutely did. I love what you were talking about
- 18:13Speaker 1: with the offensive line because it goes to what Brandon
- 18:16Speaker 1: Lee gout and BLG and I were talking about on
- 18:19Speaker 1: the Super Bowl preview show that the offensive line they're
- 18:22Speaker 1: not just five guys, they are a weapon themselves. Yep,
- 18:26Speaker 1: just like the receivers are a weapon. They're just like
- 18:28Speaker 1: Saquon Barkley is a weapon. The actual unit itself was
- 18:31Speaker 1: a weapon, and they showed that to be true in
- 18:34Speaker 1: this game.
- 18:34Speaker 2: And you know what's scary. This is the first time,
- 18:36Speaker 2: like twenty eighteen, the offensive line was dominant in autense.
- 18:40Speaker 2: The offensive line was not that great right that year.
- 18:43Speaker 2: This is the first time the offensive line is a weapon.
- 18:45Speaker 2: So is the defensive line. Yeah, they're frightening. Yes, Milton Williams,
- 18:49Speaker 2: they're all young. Yep, they're all gonna get resigned. Nolan
- 18:52Speaker 2: Smith coming into his own My god, Nikobe Dean got hindered.
- 18:56Speaker 2: We got him coming back next year. What a ridiculous
- 18:59Speaker 2: Apparently drafting Georgian defenders was an idea we said before
- 19:05Speaker 2: the season, like, maybe we're drafting too many. It's not
- 19:07Speaker 2: going to work, right, No, we're wrong. Like the they're mean,
- 19:11Speaker 2: Like that's they're talented and they're mean. Yeah, what a
- 19:14Speaker 2: what a combo? Yes, yeah, you can just tell in
- 19:16Speaker 2: this game the meanness they their pursuit to the ball.
- 19:20Speaker 2: They're just kicking the ship out of every chief that
- 19:22Speaker 2: got in their way. Oh my god, Like a couple
- 19:25Speaker 2: of times on the replays that they'd showed in slow motion,
- 19:28Speaker 2: like Carter's reactions to the offensive line. Yeah, and he's
- 19:31Speaker 2: just like just stink facing them, like you can't, you
- 19:35Speaker 2: can't do this. I can't. I can't wait to hear
- 19:37Speaker 2: the micd up stuff like I'm like, I'm hurting here,
- 19:40Speaker 2: I'm kicking your ass. Do you understand this? It's I
- 19:43Speaker 2: sent you last night the House of Paying Game nine
- 19:45Speaker 2: ninety one Eagles Boilers. They went down there and just
- 19:48Speaker 2: kick the ship out of warn Moon and that offense.
- 19:51Speaker 2: And that's kind of that's kind of the nasty meanness
- 19:55Speaker 2: Seth Joyner, Reggie White, Clyde Simmons they have. They have
- 19:58Speaker 2: the same element here. Yeah, and they're just as talented.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Absolutely, absolutely, my gosh, folks, Eagles are Super Bowl champions.
- 20:06Speaker 2: Jake Elliott didn't miss. Oh my god, That's why I
- 20:08Speaker 2: actually brought this up. I was gonna say he didn't miss.
- 20:11Speaker 1: He kicked a fifty yard or a forty five yard
- 20:13Speaker 1: or forty yard or forty two or whatever.
- 20:15Speaker 2: It's amazing. It kicked all four and made them and
- 20:21Speaker 2: we were laughing about it like a man also, but
- 20:23Speaker 2: it kept it kept. I think I text you guys
- 20:25Speaker 2: a hundred times, keep your foot to the throat. Yes,
- 20:28Speaker 2: this team is dangerous. Yes they have homes, they have
- 20:30Speaker 2: Andy Reid, and they brought Jake Elliott in field goal,
- 20:33Speaker 2: field goal, boom, boom, boom, and.
- 20:35Speaker 1: They just kept you're not getting the fuck up right,
- 20:37Speaker 1: You're done? How about also Braden Man the punter, we
- 20:40Speaker 1: got it. He makes that punt, it goes out at
- 20:43Speaker 1: the nine yard line, and two plays later, Patrick Mahomes
- 20:46Speaker 1: throws an interception to Zach bonn Oh.
- 20:49Speaker 2: And that was probably the game move. That play right
- 20:51Speaker 2: there was it was, but it was set up by
- 20:53Speaker 2: the pun It was set up by that pun Yes,
- 20:54Speaker 2: they never had good fuel position ever in this guy. Yeah.
- 20:57Speaker 1: It wasn't until towards the end of the third quarter
- 21:00Speaker 1: that they were in the Eagles territory for the first time,
- 21:03Speaker 1: for the very first time of the game. It was
- 21:05Speaker 1: towards the end of the third quarter. Yeah, you know
- 21:06Speaker 1: what credible I call that? Lametal LaMelo ball football. Oh ago, Yeah,
- 21:12Speaker 1: he's down twenty points.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Yeah, he's gonna put up fifty because he's just wo yeah,
- 21:16Speaker 2: you know, he's playing the second strings that they're playing
- 21:19Speaker 2: defense on you, right, and he's doing late like like
- 21:21Speaker 2: Huger like layups and like finger rolls, and like, oh cool,
- 21:25Speaker 2: you put it fifty and you're you lost by twenty
- 21:26Speaker 2: five points, right. That's what that felt like, honestly, because
- 21:29Speaker 2: they kicked a ship out of them. Sought so hard
- 21:31Speaker 2: before that. I did not think they would score forty
- 21:33Speaker 2: on him. I didn't think. I thought it was going
- 21:35Speaker 2: to be thirty three. Thirty three to twenty three was
- 21:37Speaker 2: my prediction. I mean, before I started putting Parley's on
- 21:42Speaker 2: this game, I honestly, I was thinking like a low
- 21:45Speaker 2: scoring game, like the offense would kind of be a
- 21:48Speaker 2: lot of running the ball with Pacheco and Barkley. I
- 21:50Speaker 2: was thinking, like twenty three to twenty Yeah, a nail
- 21:53Speaker 2: biderm be shitting our pants the whole night. But that
- 21:57Speaker 2: quickly got squelched, like they I like, as soon as
- 22:01Speaker 2: they knocked I think it was like what end of
- 22:03Speaker 2: the first quarter being the second quarter and they started
- 22:05Speaker 2: knocking the homes around, yes, yeah, and it was like, oh,
- 22:08Speaker 2: it's like, we haven't seen this. And then and then
- 22:11Speaker 2: by the end of the second quarter or beginning a third,
- 22:14Speaker 2: when he was like jumpy. Yeah, it was like I've
- 22:17Speaker 2: never seen this before. Holy, this is like Brady being jumpy,
- 22:20Speaker 2: because I mean we're talking like this guy has Brady potential. Yes,
- 22:24Speaker 2: I've never seen Brady that squirrely right in the pocket, right,
- 22:28Speaker 2: and that that was the first time I've ever seen
- 22:30Speaker 2: with him.
- 22:30Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just incredible, incredible, And I gotta say it
- 22:33Speaker 1: was great having you your family here at recording in
- 22:36Speaker 1: my little studio area here in my house. And uh,
- 22:40Speaker 1: Eric his family were here. Our buddy Dave and his
- 22:42Speaker 1: family was here too. We had some good food. And
- 22:44Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you right now, those wings that you
- 22:46Speaker 1: guys got, whoo fantastic. We bought those here. You have
- 22:52Speaker 1: access to them in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Yeah, you said you
- 22:55Speaker 1: never heard of it wing at the Wing King. Yes,
- 22:59Speaker 1: what a crazy it is great the wing King. It's
- 23:02Speaker 1: not that hard rhymes, it's two words. They were fantastic.
- 23:07Speaker 1: Probably the best food of the night. I think the
- 23:09Speaker 1: wings were probably the best. I think your cousin's chili
- 23:11Speaker 1: was doing. Her chili was good.
- 23:13Speaker 2: Yes, she did the salty sweet ye deal. Yeah. Good food,
- 23:17Speaker 2: good super Bowl food, great outcome of the game. If
- 23:21Speaker 2: we kicked their asses. God, we didn't just win. We
- 23:24Speaker 2: didn't kick the Patriots asses. It was just a fanessic.
- 23:26Speaker 2: They'd scored a ship ton of points. We kicked their yeah,
- 23:30Speaker 2: right in their ass with our big foot. It's amazing,
- 23:33Speaker 2: right up their butthole. I wanted to do that. Thanks
- 23:37Speaker 2: our toe, big toe right up there. Heinee, Yeah, thank you,
- 23:40Speaker 2: thank you. All right. I think it's a good place
- 23:44Speaker 2: to end this post game show. Right, you think analysis
- 23:46Speaker 2: has fallen apart? I think so. We're talking about butttholes
- 23:48Speaker 2: and stuff. I was talking chili wings buttholes. Yes, I
- 23:53Speaker 2: think we're good. Yes, all right, folks. That is going
- 23:57Speaker 2: to do it for us.

- 24:06Speaker 1: Super Bowl champions, beating the Kansas City Chiefs by a
- 24:10Speaker 1: score of forty to twenty two. They are Super Bowl champions.
- 24:13Speaker 1: I'm gonna get a shirt this week. I'm think I'm
- 24:15Speaker 1: going to the parade. I'm gonna have to go to
- 24:16Speaker 1: the parade. I think I didn't go to the first one.
- 24:18Speaker 2: I didn't either. Yeah, I might go I went to
- 24:20Speaker 2: the Phillies Parade. No, yeah, yeah, I might go to it.
- 24:22Speaker 2: I might go to this one. I got I gotta,
- 24:24Speaker 2: I gotta do it. I gotta do it. Hope hopefully
