- 0:00Speaker 1: Here's more of the Mark Simoon show on wo R. Hey,
- 0:07Speaker 1: we'll get to the mayoral race in just second. We'll
- 0:11Speaker 1: get to Boston Blue. We'll get to the shutdown and
- 0:16Speaker 1: all of that coming out and the No Kings whatever
- 0:18Speaker 1: it was march rally. I don't know if you call
- 0:20Speaker 1: them march. I mean, they were all one hundred years old.
- 0:22Speaker 1: It's not a march that seems like they just emptied
- 0:25Speaker 1: out the senior citizen homes for this thing. It was
- 0:28Speaker 1: heavily funded by oligarchs. Oligarchs paid for the no Kings thing.
- 0:33Speaker 1: If you want to see the list of who paid
- 0:34Speaker 1: for it, go to my Twitter, Mark Simone Ny at Twitter.
- 0:39Speaker 1: You'll see the actual chart up there. Who financed this
- 0:42Speaker 1: no Kings thing. It should have been called the no Point.
- 0:46Speaker 1: It wasn't about kings. There's no King, of course, it
- 0:49Speaker 1: was just a Trump derangement syndrome march, and you know,
- 0:54Speaker 1: and everybody wondering, they're looking at the pictures and why
- 0:56Speaker 1: are they all so old. It's like the oldest crowd.
- 1:01Speaker 1: These are all the late sixties, early seventies hippies that
- 1:04Speaker 1: were marching back then. This is then, and again it's
- 1:08Speaker 1: not a no Kings thing has nothing to do with Kings.
- 1:10Speaker 1: It was strictly a Trump derangement syndrome, rally Trump arrangement syndrome.
- 1:16Speaker 1: And the funniest thing, if you want to see how
- 1:17Speaker 1: corrupt the media is, if Donald Trump says anything, they
- 1:22Speaker 1: throw in this spray. President Trump claimed without evidence the Bubba,
- 1:26Speaker 1: And if he tells you how big the crowd was
- 1:28Speaker 1: it is inauguration, they fact check him to death. Well,
- 1:31Speaker 1: when it comes to this No Kings, you may have
- 1:33Speaker 1: heard the figure seven million. It turns out that figure
- 1:36Speaker 1: is absolutely false. It was more like one million. Maybe
- 1:40Speaker 1: maybe it might have meann been under one million. There
- 1:42Speaker 1: were no seven million at the No Kings. Where did
- 1:45Speaker 1: they get that crazy figure from the event organizers? You'll
- 1:48Speaker 1: see now actually say that on the news if you're
- 1:50Speaker 1: watch an, MSNBC or the New York Times, seven million
- 1:53Speaker 1: attended according to the organizers. Since when do you trust
- 1:57Speaker 1: the organizer to tell you? How come when told you
- 2:00Speaker 1: how many people were at the inauguration, you didn't take
- 2:02Speaker 1: his word for it. You went and fact checked it yourself.
- 2:05Speaker 1: The way you get crowd size you talk to local officials,
- 2:08Speaker 1: local police. They have people there that are experts at
- 2:11Speaker 1: estimating crowd size. You don't ask the organizer to tell you.
- 2:15Speaker 1: But this is how corrupt the media is. They all,
- 2:18Speaker 1: every one of them, every anchor, every network, seven million,
- 2:21Speaker 1: according to the organizers. They just took that like that's
- 2:24Speaker 1: like that's a fact. So a shutdown continues. They were
- 2:28Speaker 1: going to have a vote today. What does it mean
- 2:32Speaker 1: with the shut That means every day you got to
- 2:34Speaker 1: watch Chuck Schumer, I like the big glasses now instead
- 2:37Speaker 1: of the little Ben Franklin, like a big clunky swift
- 2:40Speaker 1: delasar kind of glasses on and he goes in every
- 2:45Speaker 1: day and he makes that makes that same speech about
- 2:50Speaker 1: everybody's going to die, people are going to starve, everybody's
- 2:52Speaker 1: going to die, everybody's every day. All you got to
- 2:57Speaker 1: do is vote for the It's called the clean They
- 3:01Speaker 1: got all these stupid terms they use the Clayton cr
- 3:03Speaker 1: It just means you can sign an extension, the seven
- 3:06Speaker 1: day extension of three weeks. It makes sense you do
- 3:09Speaker 1: this anywhere else. You sign an extension so it gives
- 3:12Speaker 1: you time to talk. All you got to do is
- 3:14Speaker 1: sign it. So don't fall for Chuck Schumer and the
- 3:17Speaker 1: glasses fogging up as he gets all excited. All he
- 3:21Speaker 1: has to do is sign the extension and everything will
- 3:25Speaker 1: be fine. Oh hey, there's a book that's coming out.
- 3:27Speaker 1: It just came out today, was released today. We've been
- 3:30Speaker 1: telling you about it. It's the definitive ultimate book on
- 3:34Speaker 1: Johnny Carson. You're gonna want to read this book. If
- 3:38Speaker 1: you watch the late night shows and just shake your
- 3:40Speaker 1: head now and you think what happened to Johnny Carson,
- 3:43Speaker 1: the real late night host. Well this guy, Mark Malkoff.
- 3:47Speaker 1: We've had him on the show. We'll get him on
- 3:48Speaker 1: the show again this week. Mark Malcoff, he wrote, he's
- 3:51Speaker 1: a young guy, he wasn't even around back then, but
- 3:53Speaker 1: he's the most incredible researcher and he studied everything about
- 3:57Speaker 1: Carson and it's the absolute definitive book that analyzes Johnny Carson.
- 4:02Speaker 1: It's an incredible book. It's called Love Johnny Carson. It's out.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Go to Amazon order Love Johnny Carson, the new book.
- 4:12Speaker 1: He's the guy that does the Carson Podcast. You should
- 4:14Speaker 1: also listen to that. He's interviewed everybody that was ever
- 4:17Speaker 1: on the Tonight Show, everybody that worked on the Tonight Show.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Phenomenal book. Uh, speaking of books, here's another one of
- 4:26Speaker 1: these articles. You read these articles, they tell you, don't
- 4:29Speaker 1: look at your phone, don't watch TV, don't do anything
- 4:33Speaker 1: an hour before you go to sleep. No screens. Don't
- 4:36Speaker 1: you know something about the blue light of the screen
- 4:39Speaker 1: the computer. Don't look at your laptop, don't look at
- 4:42Speaker 1: your phone. You won't be able to sleep. Who the
- 4:44Speaker 1: hell comes up with this nonsense. This is the dumbest
- 4:47Speaker 1: thing I've ever read. You know, I in my when
- 4:50Speaker 1: I'm in bed, I got a laptop in there with
- 4:52Speaker 1: me and my phone. I'm looking at both, plus the
- 4:54Speaker 1: TVs on. I got three screens in my face, and
- 4:57Speaker 1: I fall asleep right in the middle of it. I
- 4:59Speaker 1: have no problem falling asleep. How many times you've been
- 5:03Speaker 1: doing you look at your phone? He just does so
- 5:06Speaker 1: easy to fall asleep looking at your phone, looking at
- 5:08Speaker 1: your screen. You know, then you wake up in the
- 5:10Speaker 1: middle of the night. Now, in the middle of night,
- 5:13Speaker 1: there's no phone, no screen, the TV's off, everything's off.
- 5:15Speaker 1: It's total. That's when you can't go back to sleep.
- 5:18Speaker 1: That's when you have trouble falling asleep. So don't believe
- 5:20Speaker 1: that stuff. You can look right at your computer if
- 5:25Speaker 1: you're tired enough you're fall asleep but has nothing to do.
- 5:27Speaker 1: There's no blue light, and don't buy that stuff for
- 5:30Speaker 1: a second. Hey, Gail King got in a little bit
- 5:33Speaker 1: of trouble. She's on a plane flying back from some place.
- 5:37Speaker 1: Big first class seat. Who's in the next seat, some
- 5:41Speaker 1: guy with a hat on and glasses. But then it
- 5:44Speaker 1: turns out the guy is Jesse Waters of Fox News.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Very nice guy, Jesse Waters. Gail King appears to be nice,
- 5:52Speaker 1: but anyway, she can be nice when she wants to be.
- 5:58Speaker 1: So they're sitting together on this four hour flight and
- 6:01Speaker 1: they start talking and they become very friendly. Jesse Water
- 6:03Speaker 1: is a very charming, friendly guy in real life, and
- 6:06Speaker 1: Gail King, when she wants to be can be friendly
- 6:08Speaker 1: and charming. So the two of them hit it off.
- 6:10Speaker 1: She takes a picture. She puts it up on Twitter.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Look who I sat next to Jesse Waters. Interesting conversation.
- 6:17Speaker 1: We had a good time on the flight. Nice to
- 6:19Speaker 1: meet him. Well. She is getting bombarded on Twitter. She
- 6:23Speaker 1: is getting attacked left and right. The liberal left wing
- 6:26Speaker 1: kooks are all over her, yelling and screaming at her.
- 6:29Speaker 1: How dare you talk to a Nazi? He's a Nazis
- 6:32Speaker 1: And everybody's a not everybody's a Nazi to them except Hitler,
- 6:38Speaker 1: But everybody's Hitler. Everybody's a Nazi with these left wing
- 6:41Speaker 1: Trump derangement syndrome people, they have no tolerance for anything,
- 6:46Speaker 1: no tolerance at all. Hey, you know, down in the
- 6:51Speaker 1: meatpacking district, he got that big Google building, got the
- 6:54Speaker 1: Chelsea Market, which was like the centerpiece of the meatpacking district,
- 6:58Speaker 1: built by the eendary Irwin Cohen. And then across the
- 7:02Speaker 1: street you got the whole block. It's the biggest building
- 7:04Speaker 1: in New York. It's a huge building. It's just says
- 7:07Speaker 1: Google all over. It turns out they have a bed
- 7:12Speaker 1: bug problem. Some other buildings got bed bugs. They've evacuated
- 7:17Speaker 1: the building, they say, getting it under control, getting rid
- 7:20Speaker 1: of the bed bugs. But everybody at Google, and that's
- 7:26Speaker 1: a lot of employees they actually have that they bought
- 7:28Speaker 1: the Chelsea Market, they got like four major buildings, tens
- 7:31Speaker 1: of thousands of people working at Google. They've told everybody
- 7:34Speaker 1: in every building to work from home until they get
- 7:36Speaker 1: the problem under control. Now this is getting in the news.
- 7:41Speaker 1: I don't you know, this is not good. Somebody might
- 7:43Speaker 1: get the idea. You know, a lot of people don't
- 7:44Speaker 1: want to go back to the office. They want to
- 7:46Speaker 1: work from home. A lot of these companies make it
- 7:48Speaker 1: come back. So I don't know, somebody might be getting
- 7:50Speaker 1: the idea, I'll bring some bed bugs in and then
- 7:53Speaker 1: we'll get to work from home for a week. Or
- 7:55Speaker 1: don't do that. Don't do that. You know who's the
- 7:57Speaker 1: king of this work from come back to the office.
- 8:00Speaker 1: Amy Diamond, the brilliant great CEO of JP Morgan Chase,
- 8:04Speaker 1: wants everybody back in the office. He's got a thing
- 8:08Speaker 1: about this, he really does. He's like Pauli and Goodfellas.
- 8:11Speaker 1: You know, remember Paulie, and he he says, you gotta
- 8:14Speaker 1: go back. I'm not saying you gotta go back this minute,
- 8:16Speaker 1: but you gotta go back. So he has this thing
- 8:18Speaker 1: about back to the office. And one of the reasons
- 8:22Speaker 1: he built on Park Avenue. Let's see forty seventh. I
- 8:28Speaker 1: think it's forty seventh in Park the brand new JP
- 8:31Speaker 1: Morgan Chase Skyscraper. It is massive. My friend David Arena
- 8:36Speaker 1: is actually the guy that came up with this building.
- 8:38Speaker 1: It's phenomenal, three billion dollars. It's the most amazing new
- 8:42Speaker 1: office building ever built. And it can hold. I think
- 8:46Speaker 1: ten thousand people. Ten thousand people will be working on
- 8:49Speaker 1: that building, and they put in anything and everything. There's
- 8:53Speaker 1: a gym everywhere, there's a sauna, there's a spa, there's
- 8:56Speaker 1: a wellness and anything you can need. And then as
- 9:00Speaker 1: far as food, they got Danny Meyer the Great Restaurant
- 9:03Speaker 1: Tour to do nineteen different restaurants and eateries in there.
- 9:08Speaker 1: Nineteen different eateries, restaurants, cafes, anything you want. You know,
- 9:12Speaker 1: this is a lot of these office buildings are doing this.
- 9:14Speaker 1: They got a top restaurant guy to do this. It's
- 9:17Speaker 1: a big problem for door Dash and Seamless and all
- 9:19Speaker 1: the delivery grub Hub. Nobody has to order anything. It's
- 9:22Speaker 1: all comes right from the building. Whatever you want to eat,
- 9:25Speaker 1: anything in the world is in the building. So hey,
- 9:30Speaker 1: Boston Blue. I didn't really notice it because it was
- 9:36Speaker 1: a quick scene. But the new series Boston Blue, Danny
- 9:39Speaker 1: Reagan goes to Boston because his son has become a
- 9:42Speaker 1: policeman in Boston and he gets injured and you briefly
- 9:45Speaker 1: see the sun, but you know that's the sun Danny
- 9:48Speaker 1: Reagan had in Blue Bloods. You know, at the family dinner,
- 9:50Speaker 1: that sun Shone. Well, there's a little controversy because in
- 9:54Speaker 1: the new spinoff series Boston Blue the Sun, Shawn has
- 9:58Speaker 1: become a Boston police officer. You can see when you
- 10:00Speaker 1: look at him, it's not the same actor. They switched actors.
- 10:04Speaker 1: A different kid now plays Danny Reagan's son, and it's
- 10:08Speaker 1: upsetting a lot of people. And they're saying, well, what happened?
- 10:11Speaker 1: Where's the uh? They said, Well, what they said we
- 10:14Speaker 1: wanted a different energy. Now, if you go back and
- 10:17Speaker 1: look at it, the U the kid from Blue Bloods
- 10:21Speaker 1: that played Sean was kind of kind of a puffy
- 10:24Speaker 1: looking guy. I think what it was they wanted somebody
- 10:27Speaker 1: looked like Danny Reagan, like a lean, mean cop, you know,
- 10:30Speaker 1: tough looking, mean, lean detective type, and that kid was
- 10:34Speaker 1: kind of a you know, puffy, kind of a butter
- 10:36Speaker 1: ball kind of So they've switched actors. But it's upsetting
- 10:39Speaker 1: a lot of people, and I don't know how I
- 10:43Speaker 1: feel about it. I'm still still getting over the two
- 10:46Speaker 1: Darrens on Bewitched. I mean, that's still tough to get
- 10:49Speaker 1: over they you know, I mean, that was a different case.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Though that was a different case. Dick York was the
- 10:55Speaker 1: Darren on Bewitch. He had tremendous health problems. He was
- 10:59Speaker 1: in agon in pain. He had tremendous back problems, health problems.
- 11:03Speaker 1: He had to leave. So they didn't deliberately switch. This
- 11:07Speaker 1: is a deliberate switch. Now you're saying, what about Marilyn Munster,
- 11:11Speaker 1: Well that was differ. Remember Marilyn Munster, the good looking blonde.
- 11:15Speaker 1: It was one woman for the first couple of years.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Then she left. What happened was she married a billionaire,
- 11:20Speaker 1: a zillionaire. She was this hot looking blonde. Mary's azillionaire
- 11:24Speaker 1: leaves the show. They had to get a new Marilyn monster.
- 11:26Speaker 1: But let's get back to the current century. Uh, what
- 11:31Speaker 1: if Mom Donnie wins? It's not looking great. H what
- 11:35Speaker 1: if Mom Donnie wins. The good news is Kathy Hochel
- 11:41Speaker 1: has said she will stay on top of everything if
- 11:44Speaker 1: he wins. If he screws up the police or anything,
- 11:47Speaker 1: the garbage transit, what I She'll be right in there
- 11:51Speaker 1: to fix it. That's the good news. The bad news is,
- 11:54Speaker 1: now you're depending on Kathy Hockel, who's like the that's
- 11:59Speaker 1: not great. If he wins, it's possible he will never serve.
- 12:05Speaker 1: Now if he wins. He doesn't take office until January First.
- 12:10Speaker 1: The Department of Justice, the Trump administration, and some private
- 12:14Speaker 1: investigating organizations are digging into the money. How they hell
- 12:18Speaker 1: did this guy come out of nowhere with no money
- 12:20Speaker 1: and suddenly have fifty million to spend on a campaign.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Where did it come from a lot of people think
- 12:25Speaker 1: there's foreign money that not only came in, that he
- 12:27Speaker 1: knew about it. If that's the case, if they prove
- 12:30Speaker 1: that he's gone, he's out of the race, or doesn't
- 12:33Speaker 1: take office, they can actually remove him. So there.
- 12:37Speaker 2: I know.
- 12:38Speaker 1: I've been telling you this for weeks and they keep
- 12:39Speaker 1: telling me, Oh, well, we're getting close. We're getting close.
- 12:41Speaker 1: We're getting close. So so far I haven't seen anything,
- 12:43Speaker 1: but we'll see now. The other good news is he's
- 12:48Speaker 1: a horrible anti Semitic guy. The Jewish community has to
- 12:52Speaker 1: worry about the anti semitism of Mom Donnie. There are
- 12:56Speaker 1: officials of the Department of Justice who have said to
- 12:59Speaker 1: me they will monitor him carefully if he takes office.
- 13:02Speaker 1: If they see anything like that, they will arrest him
- 13:05Speaker 1: for a hate crime. They will move right in and
- 13:07Speaker 1: arrest them. So that's more good news. The debate is
- 13:12Speaker 1: tomorrow night. We'll see what happens in that debate. If
- 13:14Speaker 1: Curtis is going to change the direction momentum, it's going
- 13:18Speaker 1: to have to be tomorrow night. He was great and
- 13:20Speaker 1: he won the first debate, but it didn't really change much.
- 13:23Speaker 1: But we'll see. We haven't had any real polling since
- 13:26Speaker 1: that first debate. You had that poll yesterday, but don't
- 13:29Speaker 1: take that seriously. That's from the Cuomo camp, the people
- 13:32Speaker 1: to put up put together that pole. Yes, a big,
- 13:35Speaker 1: big Cuomo people, So don't take it seriously. Don't take
- 13:38Speaker 1: it seriously. We haven't had any real polling yet. So
- 13:41Speaker 1: we'll see. You got a lot of these big, big,
- 13:45Speaker 1: big donors. They're gonna be all over television. Bill Ackman
- 13:47Speaker 1: and the leading one major, a huge billionaire hedge fund
- 13:51Speaker 1: guys telling you only Cuomo can win. Only now you
- 13:53Speaker 1: got to remember, we love these people and they're brilliant
- 13:56Speaker 1: at what they do, but they are always wrong when
- 13:59Speaker 1: it comes to politic one hundred percent of the time.
- 14:02Speaker 1: They always get it wrong. These are the same guys
- 14:04Speaker 1: that told you Trump can't win. You got to we
- 14:06Speaker 1: have to go with the santas. Trump can't win. Trump
- 14:08Speaker 1: has to leave. So we can run to Santa. They're
- 14:10Speaker 1: always wrong every time they're brilliant. As Kellyan Conway actually
- 14:15Speaker 1: charted it out. She can chart it through the years.
- 14:17Speaker 1: They've been wrong one hundred percent of the time. And
- 14:21Speaker 1: as she says, they've made billions doing what they do,
- 14:24Speaker 1: they've never made a penny giving political advice because they
- 14:27Speaker 1: stink at it. Same thing would happen if you asked
- 14:29Speaker 1: all these billionaires to give you football predictions, you'd find
- 14:33Speaker 1: out they don't know what they're talking and they're always
- 14:34Speaker 1: wrong when it comes to football predictions. Same thing when
- 14:37Speaker 1: they come to any political prediction. So don't take it seriously. Hey,
- 14:43Speaker 1: well take some calls in a minute. Eight hundred three
- 14:45Speaker 1: to two one zero seven ten is the number? Eight
- 14:48Speaker 1: hundred three two one zero seven ten. Give WR, A
- 14:54Speaker 1: bri said on the iHeart Radio app. To hear Mark
- 14:56Speaker 1: Simone and all the WR hosts.
- 14:59Speaker 3: In instead, yell back to the Mark Simo show on WOR.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Hey, let's take some causes. Go to Carol in Philadelphia. Carol,
- 15:10Speaker 1: how you doing fine?
- 15:12Speaker 4: Thank you, Mark. It's really a pleasure to talk to you.
- 15:15Speaker 4: Even though I am from Philadelphia, I am watching everything
- 15:19Speaker 4: that's going on in New York. By the way, I
- 15:22Speaker 4: am a longtime listener, first time caller.
- 15:25Speaker 1: Sound like a great caller. We love people in Philadelphia.
- 15:27Speaker 1: We love Philadelphia.
- 15:29Speaker 4: Thank you. Well, my problem with this Curtis thing? How
- 15:32Speaker 4: dare how dare anybody to ask Curtis to drop out?
- 15:37Speaker 4: What's supposed to happen with Republican voters? I mean, what
- 15:40Speaker 4: are they supposed to do? They're certainly not going to
- 15:42Speaker 4: go with a Democrat for the two losers.
- 15:45Speaker 1: Yeah. Well again, let me just point out this pole
- 15:48Speaker 1: that came out this week was done by the Trump,
- 15:50Speaker 1: done by Cuomo's big supporters. It's a don't trust the
- 15:54Speaker 1: pole that came out showing Cuomo and Momdannie are a
- 15:57Speaker 1: tide because it was done by heavy, heavy qu almost
- 16:00Speaker 1: the borders. And then you noticed they were very careful
- 16:03Speaker 1: not to pull Curtis versus Mom Donnie because it might
- 16:05Speaker 1: have shown the same thing. But go ahead.
- 16:07Speaker 4: Well, I'll tell you what. As an outsider, I predict
- 16:10Speaker 4: he is going to landslide like our Trump did. And
- 16:13Speaker 4: I will be the first to be screaming my lungs
- 16:16Speaker 4: out in goodness.
- 16:18Speaker 1: All right, Caroly, you did a good job. Your first call.
- 16:20Speaker 1: Excellent I don't know about a landslide, but who knows
- 16:23Speaker 1: what could happen. Let's go to Kevin and Charlotte. Kevin,
- 16:27Speaker 1: how you doing, Hi?
- 16:29Speaker 2: Mark?
- 16:30Speaker 5: You know, I'm really upset about this concept of Trump
- 16:33Speaker 5: pardoning p Diddy by the end of the week. He
- 16:35Speaker 5: got a super light sentence to begin with. I mean,
- 16:38Speaker 5: that's the kind of thing Democrats do something like that.
- 16:42Speaker 5: He should he was lucky he got what he got.
- 16:45Speaker 5: And also I'm upset over this idea of him for
- 16:48Speaker 5: giving student debt. That's another idea of the Democrats. I
- 16:52Speaker 5: just heard that this morning.
- 16:53Speaker 4: One.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, well you're not wrong, but I think
- 16:56Speaker 1: the only good thing but the student loans. Watch. It
- 16:58Speaker 1: was the signature of Biden's campaign, forgive the student loans. Watch.
- 17:01Speaker 1: Democrats will take him to court. They'll try to stop
- 17:03Speaker 1: Trump say you can't forgive student loans. It's an illegal unconstitution.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Why watch how they flip flop on this. Yeah, he
- 17:09Speaker 1: is a little love he's a little too forgiving with
- 17:12Speaker 1: the pardons and the commutations. But he'll never approach Biden's
- 17:15Speaker 1: record of whatever. It was three thirty five hundred pardons,
- 17:19Speaker 1: and those were horrible. Those were like drug dealers, murderers, everything.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Let's go to Joel in Florida.
- 17:24Speaker 3: Joel, how you doing, Good morning, Mark, Good morning, Vincent,
- 17:28Speaker 3: Good morning, Mararack. The morning I question I have, will you?
- 17:31Speaker 3: Rudy Giuliani had a similar problem, as I recall, after
- 17:35Speaker 3: he lost to Dinkins the first time and he was
- 17:37Speaker 3: playing to run again. Many many people said, don't even
- 17:40Speaker 3: think about it. Of course, New York City is a
- 17:42Speaker 3: democratic city. You're foolish.
- 17:43Speaker 1: Their month.
- 17:44Speaker 3: Isn't a similar situation here with people saying yeah, and it's.
- 17:48Speaker 1: Another uh, good point? Is Rudy in that race he
- 17:51Speaker 1: underpolled like crazy. The polls never showed him ahead, never
- 17:56Speaker 1: he underpolled. Curtis may have the same problem. Got remember,
- 18:00Speaker 1: as crazy as it sounds, Republicans have won five of
- 18:05Speaker 1: the last eight mayoral races, five of the last eight.
- 18:09Speaker 1: I know you could argue, well, Bloomberg spent a million,
- 18:11Speaker 1: one hundred million of his own you know, okay, but
- 18:13Speaker 1: they still won five of the last eight. Let's go
- 18:16Speaker 1: to Vincent and Brooklyn.
- 18:17Speaker 6: Vincent, how you doing, good morning, Mark, Good morning, Joel,
- 18:20Speaker 6: Good morning, Marra Mark. I believe Trump is right and
- 18:24Speaker 6: part of the p Diddy and he's the reason why
- 18:27Speaker 6: for what. Got to remember, Pete Diddy already spent a
- 18:30Speaker 6: year and a half in the joint most I was
- 18:34Speaker 6: even telling friends let him out by Christmas. Then he
- 18:38Speaker 6: would have served almost two years. And for what he
- 18:41Speaker 6: was convicted convicted of, he wasn't convicted of the top
- 18:45Speaker 6: chargers and put him on probation for another five years.
- 18:49Speaker 6: And that'll put the kabash on him on Pete Diddy
- 18:54Speaker 6: for a while. Uh. Mark. The other day I was
- 18:58Speaker 6: called by a Teamsters union official, a union official and media.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Oh something about the ESPAD project.
- 19:09Speaker 6: Well, anyway, Mark, I don't know. I know CMO stands
- 19:14Speaker 6: out there with the with the Electricians union and this
- 19:18Speaker 6: not the Teamsters, the Teamsters going. This guy told me
- 19:23Speaker 6: this union boss he's going with with Curtis, and he's
- 19:28Speaker 6: given money to Curtis and at least Stephonic and uh,
- 19:33Speaker 6: you know, I don't know how much sway these people
- 19:36Speaker 6: have anymore. But the Teamsters are more regular guys. Those
- 19:40Speaker 6: the people were.
- 19:41Speaker 1: Yeah, they have no sway at all, you know, Clomo
- 19:44Speaker 1: sounds a little silly. The Plumbers union has endorsed me.
- 19:47Speaker 1: I love plumbers, They're great people. I don't ask him
- 19:49Speaker 1: who to vote for. Nobody wants a plumber's opinion on
- 19:52Speaker 1: who to vote for. It's like asking Cuomo, what pipe
- 19:54Speaker 1: do you use?
- 19:54Speaker 6: I mean, why would you do? You know? As if
- 19:58Speaker 6: everybody's worried about this guy Mondami. He's a nut job,
- 20:02Speaker 6: he's a comedy, he's a Jew hater and this and that.
- 20:06Speaker 6: But I was telling them some friends, I'm gonna treat
- 20:09Speaker 6: this Mondami. God forbid he gets elected. I'm gonna treat
- 20:13Speaker 6: his policies like I treated build the the Blasio's policies.
- 20:18Speaker 6: I'm gonna I notice like I own real estate, I
- 20:22Speaker 6: own commercial residential dealers. Who were the liberals who voted
- 20:26Speaker 6: for these nutjobs? And you're gonna be the first ones
- 20:29Speaker 6: that I'm gonna raise the rents.
- 20:30Speaker 1: All right, Vincent, great call, Thanks for Collin. He will
- 20:35Speaker 1: We'll talk to Howie Carr will be with us next
- 20:38Speaker 1: lots to talk to him about on seven to ten
- 20:41Speaker 1: w O R. Mark Simonio continues, Yeah, you are on well.
- 20:47Speaker 1: Howie Carr one of the great talk show hosts in America.
- 20:51Speaker 1: You should check out his website howiecarshow dot com. You
- 20:54Speaker 1: can hear his show on iHeart or you can get
- 20:56Speaker 1: his podcast there, or you can get his book as
- 20:59Speaker 1: columns everything. The radio show is at Howie Carr Show
- 21:03Speaker 1: dot com. Howie Carr, How you doing very good?
- 21:07Speaker 2: I'm doing I'm doing better than the staff of sixty Minutes.
- 21:11Speaker 2: I guess after they get the dressing down from Barry Weiss.
- 21:15Speaker 2: I love that story.
- 21:17Speaker 1: But she asked the logical questions. She said to them, well,
- 21:20Speaker 1: then why does everybody think you so biased? It's a
- 21:22Speaker 1: good question, and.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Right, yeah, right, And you know I love the fact
- 21:26Speaker 2: too that they say, well, you know, she has no
- 21:29Speaker 2: TV experience? Well like George Stephanopoulos, f Chuck Todd, you know,
- 21:37Speaker 2: all all of these people, I mean, did they did
- 21:40Speaker 2: any of them have any Jake Tapper? Did any of
- 21:43Speaker 2: them have any experience? They were they were just you know,
- 21:45Speaker 2: they were just code holders on Capitol Hill for sleazy Democrats.
- 21:49Speaker 2: That's all the experience they needed. Now now now there's
- 21:53Speaker 2: sticklers are on the job training. Come come on, who's kidding?
- 21:58Speaker 1: Who do you remember? Sixty Minutes was the number one
- 22:02Speaker 1: show in television at sixty million viewers. Now it's like
- 22:05Speaker 1: two million maybe, and it's in right.
- 22:07Speaker 2: Well, they're still saying they're still saying, you know, well,
- 22:10Speaker 2: it's the number one news show on the network. But
- 22:13Speaker 2: that tells you all you need to know, because like
- 22:14Speaker 2: you said, there's nobody. Nobody's watching it, you know. Especially
- 22:18Speaker 2: the worst thing for sixty minutes is if there's a
- 22:20Speaker 2: blowout in the late late CBS game on the NFL
- 22:24Speaker 2: and the fall, then then they're probably in the six
- 22:26Speaker 2: figure territory, you know. They It's just it's really something.
- 22:31Speaker 2: I'm glad she's doing this. I really hope she's making
- 22:34Speaker 2: them jump. But now I guess they're going to start
- 22:36Speaker 2: announcing the layoffs this very shortly paramount. Yeah, you know,
- 22:41Speaker 2: lay them all off. You know, as as one of
- 22:45Speaker 2: the managers used to say, you know, when they were
- 22:47Speaker 2: trying to sign some some star baseball player. We finished
- 22:50Speaker 2: last with you. We can finish last without you think.
- 22:54Speaker 2: I think that sums up everybody at CBS News, doesn't it.
- 22:59Speaker 1: Hey, alright, watching this, No Kings, it looked like Halloween
- 23:03Speaker 1: at the Senior Center. I mean a lot of old
- 23:05Speaker 1: people there. What did you think of that?
- 23:08Speaker 2: It was? It was really pitiful. I mean we you know,
- 23:10Speaker 2: if you if you drive around the suburbs, especially in
- 23:13Speaker 2: the Northeast all summer long, they've been they've been kind
- 23:15Speaker 2: of like doing these uh, these dress rehearsals. You know,
- 23:19Speaker 2: they go out on uh you know, on Saturdays at
- 23:22Speaker 2: the rotaries and that the overpasses, and they've been holding
- 23:26Speaker 2: up these signs and you know, they've they've all they've
- 23:29Speaker 2: all got walkers and kings and hand lettered signs, and
- 23:33Speaker 2: it's just that it's you know, they used to be
- 23:36Speaker 2: a Boston City council when they see old people doing
- 23:38Speaker 2: stuff like this and always say they ought to be
- 23:40Speaker 2: home praying for a happy death. And every time I
- 23:43Speaker 2: would seeing on TV, I was just thinking about that.
- 23:46Speaker 2: You know, they're they're they're round and third, they're at
- 23:49Speaker 2: the checkout county use some moral cliches. I mean, they're
- 23:52Speaker 2: just it was it was just sad. And they didn't
- 23:55Speaker 2: even know what they were talking about. They have no clue.
- 23:57Speaker 2: I mean, what what exactly is there is their complaint?
- 24:01Speaker 2: You know, they're how about the fact I loved when
- 24:04Speaker 2: was the War of the Fake Indians put out? We're
- 24:06Speaker 2: very familiar with this in Boston, have been since the
- 24:09Speaker 2: Tea Party in seventeen seventeen seventy three, and somebody and immediately,
- 24:13Speaker 2: like dozens of people tweeted back at her. Yeah, they
- 24:17Speaker 2: were faking being Indians just like you, you know. I mean,
- 24:21Speaker 2: they have no self awareness, no realization. And they're accusing
- 24:26Speaker 2: Trump of shutting down free speech. Is they're as they're
- 24:30Speaker 2: marching around making brulves of themselves. He's saying he's going
- 24:33Speaker 2: to shut down the media, you know, after they after
- 24:36Speaker 2: they canceled thousands of us on social media, you know,
- 24:40Speaker 2: for talking about COVID, you know, and now they're accusing trials.
- 24:47Speaker 2: It's classic projection as always with these people. You know,
- 24:51Speaker 2: they accuse us of doing to them what they did
- 24:56Speaker 2: to us, you know, only the difference is we didn't
- 24:59Speaker 2: do it to them.
- 25:01Speaker 1: Hey, Howie Carr's got a great new book, Mass Corruption.
- 25:05Speaker 1: You know, we think of Boston, We just think of
- 25:06Speaker 1: this peaceful, little sleepy town. But you've got more stuff
- 25:10Speaker 1: going on in that place, Boston than How did it
- 25:14Speaker 1: ever get so bad?
- 25:14Speaker 5: There?
- 25:14Speaker 1: Was it always that way?
- 25:16Speaker 2: I don't know. They just fired this this a trooper
- 25:21Speaker 2: that he was fired and he just gave up his
- 25:24Speaker 2: appeal because he's They've got so much other dirt on
- 25:27Speaker 2: him with his text messages. His name is Proctor, And
- 25:31Speaker 2: the irony is there was a proctor in the Salem
- 25:34Speaker 2: witch trials who was hanged as a witch. You think
- 25:37Speaker 2: that the family would have taken the hint, you know,
- 25:41Speaker 2: But then then another proctor was involved in framing Socco
- 25:46Speaker 2: and Vanzetti back in nineteen twenty five, and you know,
- 25:49Speaker 2: they still didn't take the hind when he got busted
- 25:52Speaker 2: for that. So you know, I mean, maybe this guy's
- 25:55Speaker 2: going to leave now. But you're right. I mean there's
- 25:57Speaker 2: just this amazing run of corruption in Massachusetts and it's just,
- 26:02Speaker 2: you know, people being framed, people being framed by the FBI.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Muller was involved in a big frame up of four people.
- 26:09Speaker 2: I mean, he didn't he didn't stop it, and he
- 26:11Speaker 2: tried to cover it up as FBI director, he was
- 26:14Speaker 2: the US attorney. And Robert Muller, Yeah, I know, people
- 26:17Speaker 2: are going, who Muller, who's Muller? How soon we forget
- 26:20Speaker 2: he's how soon he forgets too? He will he will
- 26:23Speaker 2: not be testifying in the upcoming Epstein trials because he's
- 26:27Speaker 2: in an assisted living facility where Joe Biden belongs. But
- 26:33Speaker 2: you know, I mean, there's there's it goes all the
- 26:35Speaker 2: way back it's just it's just so bad for people
- 26:38Speaker 2: being framed at state, local levels. They just let a
- 26:42Speaker 2: Chinese American woman out of prison. They convicted her of
- 26:47Speaker 2: setting her house on fire and killing both her parents
- 26:50Speaker 2: when she was eighteen. Twenty two years later, she's forty
- 26:53Speaker 2: years old, never been outside of prison. They discovered she
- 26:56Speaker 2: didn't do it. I mean, it's just happening over and
- 26:59Speaker 2: over again.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Yeah, and ressed you you're not a Blue Bloods fan,
- 27:03Speaker 1: are you?
- 27:05Speaker 6: What?
- 27:06Speaker 1: Blue Blood's the TV show?
- 27:08Speaker 2: Oh no, no, because they as if I was a fan.
- 27:11Speaker 2: I'm not a fan of Blue Bloods period either. You know,
- 27:13Speaker 2: they never treated me very well Mark, I was somehow
- 27:17Speaker 2: I've never been able to pass for one of them,
- 27:19Speaker 2: even I've spent a lot of time with them.
- 27:21Speaker 1: Oh, I just mentioned because the sequel and has now moved,
- 27:24Speaker 1: it's called Boston Blue. It's it's tough for US New
- 27:26Speaker 1: Yorkers to watch cops with Boston accents. It doesn't it's
- 27:30Speaker 1: it's strange to us.
- 27:33Speaker 2: Yeah, people have trouble with Boston accents.
- 27:35Speaker 6: You know.
- 27:36Speaker 2: It's I think you're a well advised not to attempt it.
- 27:40Speaker 2: You know, you'll have it naturally. The only guy who
- 27:43Speaker 2: ever pulled it off. I think was Robert Mitchum and
- 27:45Speaker 2: the friends of Eddie Coyle.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Yeah, well hey mar Lago. President Trump, first time there
- 27:51Speaker 1: in a long time. He went there this past weekend.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Does that mean that, Yeah, the season starts early, That's
- 27:56Speaker 2: what everybody's saying. You know, usually usually waits the first
- 28:00Speaker 2: first big night is uh is Halloween. That's when it opens.
- 28:04Speaker 2: And I mean that's a lot earlier than the season
- 28:05Speaker 2: used to begin at pomp Beach. But yeah, he came,
- 28:08Speaker 2: he came back. I think he had a giant fundraiser
- 28:12Speaker 2: on Friday night. I think that's I think that's one
- 28:14Speaker 2: of the main reasons he was back. I also think
- 28:16Speaker 2: he didn't want to, you know, be there when when
- 28:19Speaker 2: the geriatric uh no, no Kings, Yeah they I don't
- 28:26Speaker 2: think he had as much to worry about as he
- 28:27Speaker 2: did when the Black Lives Matter mobs tried to burn
- 28:31Speaker 2: down the White House and the Episcopal Church next next
- 28:34Speaker 2: across the street in twenty twenty. But you know, it's
- 28:37Speaker 2: still it's still will look embarrassing. I think it was
- 28:39Speaker 2: a good move for him to get out of town
- 28:41Speaker 2: for the for the weekend, played around, played around the
- 28:43Speaker 2: golf on Saturday morning, pined up the traffic, you know,
- 28:46Speaker 2: but no one, no one grudged him that. And then
- 28:50Speaker 2: you saw that little that hunting stand that was that
- 28:53Speaker 2: was very weird at the airport. Yeah, there are any
- 28:57Speaker 2: deer in Palm Beach here, at least I've never seen any.
- 29:01Speaker 1: Yeah, very very good point. Yeah, it's just awful. Well,
- 29:05Speaker 1: everybody get Howie Carr's latest book. It's called mass Corruption,
- 29:09Speaker 1: and uh, just tell very quickly what the book is about,
- 29:12Speaker 1: because it's it's a fact.
- 29:13Speaker 2: Yeah, it's just about it. It's just about all the
- 29:15Speaker 2: corruption there has been. This trial. They tried to frame
- 29:18Speaker 2: a woman. They've tried to frame her twice and just
- 29:20Speaker 2: outside of Boston for a murder she didn't commit and
- 29:23Speaker 2: obviously didn't commit. The FBI had actually the FBI believe
- 29:26Speaker 2: it or not, had to get involved to get her
- 29:27Speaker 2: out of it. And there have been a bunch of
- 29:30Speaker 2: cover ups and uh, you know, murders that were rural suicides,
- 29:33Speaker 2: and the mass State police have been very corrupted. I've
- 29:37Speaker 2: got all this stuff that they were fake. They take
- 29:39Speaker 2: tens of thousands of drug tests to frame people. It's
- 29:42Speaker 2: just a horrible case of corruption. I laid it. I
- 29:44Speaker 2: laid it all out, use a lot of my old calls.
- 29:47Speaker 2: You can. You could order the book now at Howi
- 29:48Speaker 2: carshow dot com click on store, or you could get
- 29:52Speaker 2: it in about a week. You can get it into Amazon.

- 29:55Speaker 2: to have it in hand before we can actually put
- 29:57Speaker 2: it out there on Amazon. Yeah, so it's mass corruption

- 30:59Speaker 1: the east wing, all the way over there, bulldozers, demolition,
- 31:04Speaker 1: they're smashing up the wall. They've taken down the wall,
- 31:06Speaker 1: they're gutting it. That's where they're gonna build the brand
- 31:10Speaker 1: new ballroom. President Trump's gonna build a huge ballroom. And now,
- 31:15Speaker 1: thank god it's President Trump, the master builder. If this
- 31:17Speaker 1: was the government, this would be a fifteen year project.
- 31:20Speaker 1: He'll get it done in probably a couple of months.
- 31:24Speaker 1: The East Room of the White House is where they
- 31:26Speaker 1: have events. It can only hold two hundred. This new
- 31:28Speaker 1: ballroom will hold seven eight hundred people. It's gonna be
- 31:32Speaker 1: magnificent at construction already underway. Watch it'll happen very very fast.
- 31:38Speaker 1: But there's a long history of President's rebuilding stuff at
