- 0:04Speaker 1: Oh, it's time for me. Uh, we're looking for Curtis Lee.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Nothing yet. Well, we'll see if we can find them.
- 0:13Speaker 1: He'll turn up all kinds of things. I want to
- 0:16Speaker 1: ask Curtis Andrew Cuomo tweeting away. That's his full time
- 0:22Speaker 1: job now Twitter, I guess.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Uh.
- 0:25Speaker 1: But he put out a statement about something about the future.
- 0:28Speaker 1: But in the statement was the horrifying implication that he
- 0:33Speaker 1: might run again for something. Last thing anybody wants to
- 0:36Speaker 1: see is Cuomo come back? But he's uh, you know,
- 0:39Speaker 1: he's kind of like herpies, can never get rid of
- 0:41Speaker 1: it complete. It's always comes back at some point. People
- 0:45Speaker 1: a little upset about all of that. Mam Donnie, of
- 0:49Speaker 1: course is the mayor elect. Rudy Giuliani put out a
- 0:52Speaker 1: statement saying he's absolutely He says, I'm sick to my
- 0:57Speaker 1: stomach seeing Mamdannie in the office, And of course he says,
- 1:02Speaker 1: I want to see New York City do well, but
- 1:04Speaker 1: he's sick seeing this. Oh we found Curtis all right.
- 1:07Speaker 1: The guy that should have been the mayor maybe will
- 1:10Speaker 1: be someday in the future, is with us. The great
- 1:13Speaker 1: Curtis Slee. What Curtis, how you doing?
- 1:16Speaker 2: Not too good Mark.
- 1:17Speaker 3: I was in Malba and Queens last night talking to
- 1:20Speaker 3: the residents whose neighborhood was taken over by a car gang.
- 1:25Speaker 3: It's just a symptom of things to come in the
- 1:29Speaker 3: era of Johann Mandami.
- 1:32Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't understand the story. This cargang, the drag
- 1:34Speaker 1: racist cars. They picked this beautiful neighborhood, quiet neighborhood in Malba.
- 1:37Speaker 1: They come down there from the Bronx they do this,
- 1:39Speaker 1: total chaos. People are being beaten up. It's awful. Where
- 1:42Speaker 1: were the police doing this?
- 1:44Speaker 3: Well, they've been doing this for in fact two years, Mark,
- 1:48Speaker 3: and they go from community to community in Queens, especially
- 1:52Speaker 3: residential communities, because they know it'll take the police a
- 1:55Speaker 3: long time to catch up to them. So there are
- 1:58Speaker 3: only two squad cars that are signed out at night
- 2:02Speaker 3: in the precincts in the outer boroughs.
- 2:04Speaker 2: This needs to be dealt with. We don't have enough police.
- 2:07Speaker 3: So imagine from twelve min night to five, or from
- 2:10Speaker 3: one to five, you only have two squad cars that
- 2:14Speaker 3: are patrolling a precinct area. Now, let's say there's a
- 2:16Speaker 3: nine to one one called domestic dispute, a fight in
- 2:20Speaker 3: a bar.
- 2:20Speaker 2: That's two cars that are tied up.
- 2:22Speaker 3: They can't go to where this gang was just tearing
- 2:26Speaker 3: up the neighborhood.
- 2:27Speaker 2: But this has been done before.
- 2:29Speaker 3: In those Zone Parts South, those Zone parts Massis, Middle Village, Glendale.
- 2:34Speaker 3: And now that it's hit Malba, which is a very
- 2:36Speaker 3: upscale neighborhood in the shadow of the White Stone Bridge
- 2:39Speaker 3: on the Queen's side, everybody's taking notice of it.
- 2:42Speaker 2: But it didn't just happen.
- 2:43Speaker 3: It's been happening for two years, and the NYPD has
- 2:47Speaker 3: done nothing to shut down these card gangs.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Okay, that's a precinct, But isn't there like a Burrough
- 2:53Speaker 1: command or of some isn't there a special task for
- 2:55Speaker 1: isn't there anything that been called in the middle of
- 2:57Speaker 1: the night to come out?
- 2:59Speaker 2: Oh? Yeah.
- 2:59Speaker 3: The problem is, though they're so far away from one another,
- 3:02Speaker 3: and they're just so few cops. We need forty thousand
- 3:05Speaker 3: police officers, we only have thirty two thousand and five hundred,
- 3:09Speaker 3: and so they spread them around during the day when
- 3:12Speaker 3: obviously most people are awake, they're up, they're working, they're
- 3:16Speaker 3: going to and from their place of business or their home.
- 3:19Speaker 3: So what they do is they cut back on policing
- 3:22Speaker 3: from about twelve mid nine to six in the morning
- 3:25Speaker 3: because they just don't have enough cops. So if we
- 3:27Speaker 3: don't hire more cops, we're going to see more of
- 3:30Speaker 3: that because of attrition. We won't be able to retain
- 3:33Speaker 3: the cops we already have, recruit the cops we need.
- 3:36Speaker 3: And the other thing that's not discussed at all Mark
- 3:38Speaker 3: is qualified immunity. That's the insurance that every civil servant has,
- 3:43Speaker 3: from the mayor right on down to a sanitation worker
- 3:46Speaker 3: that protects them from being sued personally.
- 3:49Speaker 2: The only department where.
- 3:51Speaker 3: That does not exist because we're stripped away from them
- 3:54Speaker 3: by the city Council in twenty twenty one.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Other police, if.
- 3:57Speaker 3: They take any physical intervention, which is part of what
- 4:00Speaker 3: is the requirement of their job, they can be personally suited.
- 4:04Speaker 3: So that's why you see the police are not at
- 4:07Speaker 3: all aggressive. They fear a personal lawsuit. They cannot bear
- 4:11Speaker 3: the burden of that. So it's going to be impossible
- 4:13Speaker 3: to retain the cops we already have and try to
- 4:16Speaker 3: recruit a new generation of cops.
- 4:18Speaker 1: Well, hey, that part of Queen's has a great councilwoman,
- 4:21Speaker 1: a real loud mouth. I mean that in a good way.
- 4:23Speaker 1: Vicki Palladino. Why isn't she screaming for help?
- 4:26Speaker 2: Oh? No, she has been, She has been.
- 4:29Speaker 3: But again, you know, I was there last night talking
- 4:33Speaker 3: to the cops. Obviously they were spread everywhere. You know
- 4:35Speaker 3: what happens, Mart, you have no cops, and then all
- 4:38Speaker 3: of a sudden, the situation in city Hall says, I
- 4:40Speaker 3: don't care send the whole precinct out there. I want
- 4:43Speaker 3: cops bobbing into one another. But I spoke to the
- 4:47Speaker 3: cops and they said, Curtis, this is an ongoing situation.
- 4:50Speaker 3: Imagine from twelve midnight at night to five in the morning,
- 4:54Speaker 3: you only have two cars to cover an entire district,
- 5:00Speaker 3: especially in a residential area where it takes you maybe
- 5:04Speaker 3: forty five minutes to go to one one part of
- 5:06Speaker 3: the precinct to the other part of the precinct. There's
- 5:09Speaker 3: just not enough cops. Jessica Tish won't acknowledge that. Obviously,
- 5:14Speaker 3: the incoming mayor won't address that. And Eric Adams, where's
- 5:17Speaker 3: he today? By the way, Mark Samo, where is the
- 5:20Speaker 3: mayor today? It's sort of like the old Matt Lawell.
- 5:23Speaker 3: Where is Matt Lauer today? Where's the mayor today?
- 5:26Speaker 1: Well, he is getting ready for the next vacation. This
- 5:29Speaker 1: is coming up pretty soon. But now tell me about
- 5:32Speaker 1: the Parky Synagogue. That was a horrible incident. That was
- 5:35Speaker 1: Muslim terrorism.
- 5:36Speaker 2: There, Oh, there it is.
- 5:38Speaker 3: They blocked the entry into the synagogue, a well renowned synagogue.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Nothing was done to them.
- 5:45Speaker 3: So Jessica Tiss goes in and apologizes and them swears
- 5:49Speaker 3: it will never happen again.
- 5:50Speaker 2: You know it's going to happen again.
- 5:51Speaker 3: Zorhanmandami said nothing to condemn it, said, oh no, no,
- 5:55Speaker 3: it was a violation of international law. What Jews meeting
- 6:00Speaker 3: plan on doing alia, which is part of their Talmud Torah.
- 6:05Speaker 3: Jews are encouraged if at some point in their lives
- 6:08Speaker 3: to return to Israel, if not to have dual residency,
- 6:11Speaker 3: maybe they live there permanently. That's not a violation of
- 6:14Speaker 3: international boar that happens with other countries also, So again
- 6:18Speaker 3: we see Zorhan Mandami, he's not even been sworn in,
- 6:22Speaker 3: not at all condemning the demonstrators who were violent, who
- 6:27Speaker 3: were blocking people's ability to enter that synagogue, and the
- 6:30Speaker 3: police did not.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Do their job.
- 6:32Speaker 3: And all I heard was Randy Mastro complaining the real
- 6:35Speaker 3: mayor of the City of New York and the mayor complaining.
- 6:38Speaker 3: Where was he again, Eric Adams when he was complaining
- 6:40Speaker 3: and tweeting about this?
- 6:44Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, Spekistan. What was he doing there, Mark?
- 6:47Speaker 3: Nothing good happens to it Uspektistan? What was he coming
- 6:51Speaker 3: out with more bags of money to bring back?
- 6:54Speaker 1: Well, what did you call it? Wining, dining, pocket lining,
- 6:56Speaker 1: that kind of stuff.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Exactly in Tashkent.
- 7:00Speaker 3: People I know from Uzbekistan who are here from tajh Kent,
- 7:03Speaker 3: they cut hair, A lot of them have become hairstylists,
- 7:06Speaker 3: and they'll tell me the only reason the mayor is
- 7:08Speaker 3: over there is to get weindein in pocket line because
- 7:11Speaker 3: that's a corrupt administration there. Well, why would a mayor
- 7:15Speaker 3: need to be in Uzbekistan or Albania? Remember when he
- 7:18Speaker 3: began this trip around the world at taxpayer's expense on
- 7:22Speaker 3: my dad?
- 7:23Speaker 1: Yeah, Hey, Curtis Leewell, let me ask you something. Andrew
- 7:26Speaker 1: Cuomo put out this tweet. He's talking about the future
- 7:28Speaker 1: of the democratic this he implied in there. He made
- 7:31Speaker 1: it sound like he's gonna run again. Is that possible
- 7:33Speaker 1: that we have to deal with this guy again?
- 7:36Speaker 3: Of course, Mark, Remember he's like Napoleon, who's retreated to
- 7:40Speaker 3: his island of Elba. Probably the Hampton's plot is comeback.
- 7:45Speaker 3: I don't think he gets it. People are tired of him,
- 7:48Speaker 3: they don't want him. He had two opportunities to beat
- 7:51Speaker 3: Johan Mandami. He got beaten, effectively, his own Democrats have
- 7:56Speaker 3: turned against them. But hey, you know what else is
- 8:00Speaker 3: Andrew Cmo going to do all day March Simon, you
- 8:02Speaker 3: know Andrew Cmo.
- 8:03Speaker 2: I know Andrew Como. All he does. He's like a
- 8:06Speaker 2: political zombie.
- 8:07Speaker 3: He plots his revenge, his vendettas, and his return. And
- 8:12Speaker 3: I think we're going to have to live with Andrew
- 8:14Speaker 3: Como until the day we die, always teasing us, talking
- 8:19Speaker 3: about what position.
- 8:21Speaker 2: He wants to run for. I would suggest to him
- 8:25Speaker 2: that he just leave New York State.
- 8:27Speaker 3: You go down to Florida, like he threatened to do
- 8:29Speaker 3: if Johan Mandami was elected mayor. Remember he was out
- 8:31Speaker 3: there in the Hamptons he said, hey, look, if Zoraan's elected,
- 8:34Speaker 3: I'm leaving in Florida.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Try your luck in Florida.
- 8:38Speaker 1: All right, But he in this race, he had every
- 8:41Speaker 1: powerful person in America pushing him, telling everybody to vote
- 8:45Speaker 1: for him, trying to chase you out of the race.
- 8:47Speaker 1: He was up against a lunatic Democrat, everybody including the president,
- 8:51Speaker 1: telling everybody vote for him. If you can't win, then
- 8:55Speaker 1: what makes you think you could ever win?
- 8:57Speaker 3: Well, remember, if you're if you're a child of entitlement,
- 9:01Speaker 3: if you felt that your position in this world was
- 9:05Speaker 3: to be the sheep herder and the rest of us
- 9:07Speaker 3: are sheep, and we don't understand. He'll continue, he'll continue
- 9:11Speaker 3: to keep attempting to push his name upon us. I
- 9:16Speaker 3: would suggest to him that he go and he write
- 9:18Speaker 3: his memoirs. Nobody bought his other two books, even though
- 9:21Speaker 3: he got paid five million dollars for that book during
- 9:24Speaker 3: the pandemic that was written by his staff.
- 9:27Speaker 2: And write a memoir.
- 9:28Speaker 3: You know, maybe twenty five copies will be sold. You know,
- 9:31Speaker 3: he can invite some of his friends. Yeah, but it's
- 9:34Speaker 3: over fans.
- 9:35Speaker 2: Who came on.
- 9:36Speaker 3: And by the way, if he wants to fight for
- 9:37Speaker 3: the Democratic Party, he's the one who rolled over and
- 9:41Speaker 3: sacrificed it with no cash.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Barel raised the age closed writ his island.
- 9:45Speaker 3: He's set it up for Zorhan Mandami and the Democratic
- 9:48Speaker 3: Socialists of America.
- 9:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Well, in all those billionaires trying to give you money
- 9:54Speaker 1: to get Where are they with him? Why aren't they
- 9:55Speaker 1: giving him something to do, some job or something.
- 9:58Speaker 2: Oh, you know they will no show job.
- 10:01Speaker 3: You know, he'll be in charge of some kind of
- 10:02Speaker 3: think tank he will need to be in.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Maybe he could run for the mayor of Southampton.
- 10:07Speaker 3: You know, he spends more time in the Hamptons than
- 10:09Speaker 3: he does in the city of New York.
- 10:11Speaker 2: That's you know, that's the position he might be able
- 10:13Speaker 2: to win. Mark.
- 10:15Speaker 1: Yeah, no, that's a good job. Who's that young guy,
- 10:17Speaker 1: Jesse whatever his name was, the mayor of Southampton?
- 10:20Speaker 2: Yeah? No, no, he could make headlines from there.
- 10:22Speaker 3: You know a lot of influential people obviously have homes
- 10:26Speaker 3: out there.
- 10:26Speaker 2: That's what I would suggest he do.
- 10:28Speaker 3: That he needs to go home to the Hamptons and
- 10:31Speaker 3: be with his brother Fredo Chris and this. This way
- 10:34Speaker 3: they can talk about how how they're victims.
- 10:37Speaker 2: Oh, poor, the poor Quall boys. We're victims again, oh Fox.
- 10:43Speaker 1: All right, Well, Curtis Lee, we're great having you on
- 10:45Speaker 1: working that people can follow you on Twitter and Instagram
- 10:47Speaker 1: and all that keep track of you.
- 10:48Speaker 3: There, uh at Curtis Lee, you can check out I
- 10:53Speaker 3: was in Malba last night and getting down to the
- 10:56Speaker 3: nitty gritty of how to stop these card gangs from
- 10:59Speaker 3: taking over a neighborhood near you, because they will be
- 11:02Speaker 3: coming to a neighborhood near you with Johann Mandami in town.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Oh god.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Well, everybody check out Curtis on Instagram and Twitter and
- 11:09Speaker 1: I'll follow him there. Curtis Lee, Well, thanks for being
- 11:12Speaker 1: with us always. Mark all right, take care. Uh, don't
- 11:16Speaker 1: forget Bucking Clay coming up noon today, seven to ten
- 11:19Speaker 1: wor
