- 0:43Speaker 1: a few months ago, I lost my job, which kind
- 0:46Speaker 1: of sucked, and I've been applying everywhere, doing interviews, you know,

- 0:55Speaker 1: And see it. But Bill, yeah, Bill, just don't stop
- 0:58Speaker 1: coming in and and they don't stop coming in because
- 1:01Speaker 1: you're unemployed. That just don't stop. So sure my daughter, Yeah,
- 1:05Speaker 1: I got I got a funny story though, because my
- 1:07Speaker 1: daughter is seven years old and a few weeks ago
- 1:11Speaker 1: she wanted to do a lemonade stand with her friend.
- 1:13Speaker 1: And I thought it was a really cool idea. They
- 1:15Speaker 1: have fun doing it, and they set up right at
- 1:18Speaker 1: the end of the driveway. I thought it was just
- 1:20Speaker 1: like a cute little thing to do, yeah, for kids.
- 1:23Speaker 1: But I was shocked when they came back a few
- 1:26Speaker 1: hours later with almost two hundred bucks. I was like, wow,
- 1:32Speaker 1: I don't know, balling Okay, yeah, I don't know. I
- 1:36Speaker 1: don't know because it was you know, it was little girls,
- 1:39Speaker 1: you know, little kids doing it, you know, two kids
- 1:41Speaker 1: or whatever.
- 1:42Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean my son's a little bit older now,
- 1:44Speaker 3: but when he did him, he would make money. Yeah,
- 1:46Speaker 3: like you know, because yeah, I guess what adults come by.
- 1:49Speaker 3: They they are like, here's a twenty I don't have change.
- 1:51Speaker 3: I think I paid twenty dollars for one cup of
- 1:53Speaker 3: lemonade lost time. I know I have before. So they
- 1:56Speaker 3: make serious cash. Okay, good for them.
- 1:58Speaker 1: Yeah, and I actually I have done that too. And
- 2:02Speaker 1: the lemonade was even that good.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Yeah, right exactly.
- 2:05Speaker 1: So I put, like I like to make them, put
- 2:08Speaker 1: like real lemonade, real lemon in it, and everything's cut
- 2:11Speaker 1: up some lemons anyway. Yeah, so next weekend, the following weekend,
- 2:15Speaker 1: they want to do it again a different neighborhood. So
- 2:18Speaker 1: they made even more money. And so now this is
- 2:21Speaker 1: like where the confession comes in. Really we basically turned yeah,
- 2:25Speaker 1: we basically turned this lemonade stands into like our family's
- 2:28Speaker 1: side hustle.
- 2:30Speaker 2: I know, I know, what does that mean?
- 2:36Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe it is terrible, but I'm telling you right now,
- 2:38Speaker 1: you have never seen money pour in faster than when
- 2:41Speaker 1: two adorable seven year old girls are standing behind a
- 2:45Speaker 1: lemonade stands and people. People aren't just buying lemonade, They're
- 2:49Speaker 1: buying the experience they buy, you know.
- 2:54Speaker 3: I mean, I know, so are you taking the money?
- 2:57Speaker 3: Like what about the f so you having a friends
- 2:59Speaker 3: help her out? I mean, are they ever getting money
- 3:01Speaker 3: or are you taking it?
- 3:02Speaker 1: Okay, So the girls made like two to three hundred
- 3:04Speaker 1: bucks in the afternoon. I give her a little friend
- 3:06Speaker 1: some money and then we keep the rest.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Whoa you must be doing alight at how much have
- 3:13Speaker 3: you made.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Yeah, over the last few weeks, she probably made like
- 3:17Speaker 1: literally over one thousand dollars. Oh my god, I'm dead serious.
- 3:23Speaker 1: And my wife really isn't that proud of it. And
- 3:26Speaker 1: I'm not exactly proud of it either, to be honest.
- 3:29Speaker 1: I mean, I feel a little weird. But you know,
- 3:32Speaker 1: I'm electric. Bill is due and the groceries needs to
- 3:35Speaker 1: be bought. What are you gonna do? You do what
- 3:37Speaker 1: you gotta do?
- 3:38Speaker 3: Okay, I mean now, but does your daughter, because I
- 3:42Speaker 3: mean they're seven, they don't know what's coming in and out.
- 3:45Speaker 2: Does she understand what's going on or not? Really? Is
- 3:47Speaker 2: she just kind of like, hey, where's my.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Every penny is going into her saving the cow? I
- 3:53Speaker 1: tell her that. And when I and when I finally
- 3:55Speaker 1: get another job, I'm gonna I'm gonna keep a count
- 3:57Speaker 1: of all the money and I'm gonna make sure every dollar.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Yeah, okay. I just what I do is I put
- 4:06Speaker 2: little I O U notes.
- 4:08Speaker 3: Yeah, So I remember, I have a feeling the books
- 4:10Speaker 3: are gonna be a little off.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Who's doing an account?
- 4:15Speaker 3: So you're gonna put back the money eventually whatever you
- 4:18Speaker 3: made when you get back on your feet or get
- 4:19Speaker 3: a job.
- 4:19Speaker 2: You're gonna put it. You're gonna put that amount of
- 4:21Speaker 2: money into her savings. Yeah, borrowing from her.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Is the cost of lemonade.
- 4:27Speaker 3: And sure right yeah, price of doing business, little woman,
- 4:31Speaker 3: right yeah yeah yeah. Inflation yeah, inflation right, okay, well
- 4:37Speaker 3: but for now, but but.
- 4:39Speaker 1: For now, the lemonade money is helping keep the lights on.
- 4:41Speaker 1: I can't, you know, I gotta say so.
- 4:43Speaker 2: The lemonade hustle is real.
- 4:45Speaker 3: I can see it though, because if you move neighborhoods
- 4:48Speaker 3: and you get the girls out there with a cue
- 4:50Speaker 3: little sign and oh they got their hot they're sweaty.
- 4:54Speaker 3: You know they're about to get heat stroke. I got
- 4:56Speaker 3: to get these kids some money. Let me, you know

- 5:05Speaker 2: Oh no, we're not about all of a sudden lemonade thing.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Oh my god. It's just got an idea.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Sometimes sometimes sometimes we'll even pick like little flowers and
- 5:17Speaker 1: then we'll give like a flower to each person that buys,
- 5:19Speaker 1: like a couple of days.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Baby business is kind of down. Limp a little bit
- 5:25Speaker 2: and cry. Can you cry a little bit
