Episode 328 - SKJALDBORG - ICELANDIC DOCUMENTARY FILM FESTIVAL, PATREKSFJÖRÐUR
RÚV English Radio looks ahead to this weekend's documentary film festival in the Westfjords town. Founded in 2007, the Skjaldborg festival (https://skjaldborg.is/en) is the only specialised platform for the premiere of Icelandic documentaries. Patreksfjörður, and the town's gorgeous Skjaldborg cinema, have become the home of the Icelandic documentary scene. The festival starts this Friday and runs through until Monday. Tickets are available here - https://app.glaze.is/t/Ebl1li130Qnc5w6vTWGy - and you can email travel@skjaldborg.is if you want to investigate any last minute accommodation…
