- 0:18can't win the big game, Michael Jordan said.

- 2:18You just heard them, Mr. Aaron Fish Fishman, our executive
- 2:22producer, board OPS and producing right in the
- 2:25background, Mr. Tommy Poops. Mr. Nick Goody will be joining
- 2:29us once again. He's been out in Cleveland doing
- 2:32the pregame and postgame show for the Guardians over the last
- 2:35past week, so we're very happy to have him back a little bit
- 2:38later in the show. Yes, Mr. Nathan, our PR guy is
- 2:42hiding. He's lurking, our interns and
- 2:44everything. I actually had a chance when I
- 2:46was on the ferry. I was looking up Jabba
- 2:48Chamberlain some looking at statistics and trying to compare
- 2:51his statistics to Ian Kennedy and Phillip Hughes and I came
- 2:56upon this 9 minute video which was posted up four years ago
- 3:00called The Summer of Java. You can check it out on YouTube
- 3:04and it is a 9 minute and 46 second love fest for Jabba
- 3:10Chamberlain. Yes, this kid who?
- 3:13And by the way, it was about 5-6 thousand people checked it out
- 3:15and viewed it. It was like a love fest.
- 3:18No matter how much trials and tribulations you had over a 3
- 3:241/2 year span. Jabba, he was comparing your
- 3:26numbers to some of the greatest pictures of all time and in some
- 3:29of those numbers really were interesting.
- 3:32When a guy like you who didn't give up an earned run in like I
- 3:37think it was I, I don't remember exactly, but it was like Four
- 3:41Seasons. You didn't give up an earned run
- 3:43in like a certain amount of time and you had like 40 strikeouts
- 3:47when you came into the major leagues without any walks or
- 3:50something like that. It was some ridiculous number.
- 3:53I don't remember what he was saying.
- 3:55I wish I I should have wrote it down before I came on the show,
- 3:58but check it out. It's called the Summer of Jabba.
- 4:01It's actually really, really good.
- 4:03It's, it's at the 9 minute documentary of Jabba
- 4:07Chamberlain's career rolled up in 9 1/2 minutes.
- 4:10So, and by the way, his I, I think his Gmail has your number
- 4:17and Derek Jeter's number, his two favorite players growing up
- 4:20as, as a Yankee fan. So yours and Derek Jeter's
- 4:23number was at the back of his e-mail address.
- 4:27So pretty interesting. I actually enjoyed it.
- 4:30I got a got a chance to get to know you a little bit better
- 4:33behind the scenes. I mean, in his his eyes at
- 4:35least. Anyways, ESPN reports that the
- 4:39Los Angeles Lakers and Luca Doncic have agreed to a
- 4:42three-year, $165 million contract extension to keep Luca
- 4:48in LA. The deal has an opt out in 2028,
- 4:53which would then allow Luca to be eligible for a five year Max
- 4:57deal with the Lakers, which could keep him in LA for the
- 5:00majority of the next decade. At the press conference on
- 5:05Saturday to celebrate Lucas Extension, most of the Lakers
- 5:09were in attendance minus LeBron James.
- 5:13LeBron, yes, has signed his player option for the upcoming
- 5:18season as well as he should. But Lebron's camp and Lakers GM
- 5:22Rob Pelinka are playing a more cat and mouse game than
- 5:27committing to each other for this year with LeBron, who turns
- 5:3241 in December going into his 23rd NBA season.
- 5:38In Lucas first postseason. Yes, as a Laker he became the
- 5:435th Laker ever to average 30 points, 5 rebounds and five
- 5:47assists in a game in a series. Also, Men's Health Magazine did
- 5:53a feature on Luka Doncic in the offseason conditioning and
- 5:57mention how he had how he made major changes of his body after
- 6:04sharp criticism from Mavericks GMO God Nico Harrison which led
- 6:09to his departure from Dallas before the trade deadline last
- 6:14year. First of all, for everybody to
- 6:17not understand, the LJA is now the LDA Luca Dodgic Association.
- 6:25Yes, it's transitioning for the Lakers.
- 6:28The fact is, LeBron James's butt hurt.
- 6:31That's what he is, the great LeBron James's butt hurt that
- 6:35the Lakers have this love fest for the one and only Luca.
- 6:39Everybody knew this was going to happen.
- 6:42I have said this over and over again and Le Bron is not going
- 6:47to be there. He is not staying there by the
- 6:49trade deadline When the Lakers realize they're not a very good
- 6:53team and they decide, hey, you know what, we got to trade these
- 6:56young pieces away because we want to be buyers in the
- 6:59offseason next year when there are two or maybe 3 superstars
- 7:04that could be eligible to go to the Lakers.
- 7:06Well, they got to move Le Bron James's contract because Le Bron
- 7:10James is going to cry all year. And I'm going to tell you this
- 7:14right now, don't be surprised if LeBron James plays more games
- 7:18early this season than he ever has.
- 7:21You know why he's going to do that?
- 7:23Because he wants to show GMs and he wants to show the Lakers.
- 7:26He still has a lot left in him. I do not believe LeBron James
- 7:30planned to leave anytime soon. The guy is averaging almost 25,
- 7:35eight and seven. How many 42 year olds can do
- 7:40that? There's only one that I can
- 7:42remember in the NBA, and that is Mr. LeBron James.
- 7:46He's the only one. The fact is right now, Laker
- 7:49fans are going to sit here and they're going to try to find
- 7:51reasons why Luca is not going to work.
- 7:55And maybe because he's not that. He's not that superstar player
- 7:59that you want there. Lucas is a great player, but he
- 8:02is he the prime guy? Is he the the Magic Johnson,
- 8:06Kobe Bryant, Mamba? No, Lucas, the boring guy.
- 8:10Luca likes to go to the bars and get drunk and hang out with his
- 8:13buddies and stay behind the scenes.
- 8:15Not LeBron James trying to be a producer or trying to sell his
- 8:19damn underwear or some other things that he's trying to toy
- 8:22away, if you know what I mean. Ask the WNZ.
- 8:25The fact is LeBron James is LeBron James and Luca is Luca.
- 8:30Now, as far as the Lakers are concerned, the Lakers love this.
- 8:34Why do they love this? And everybody's going to sit
- 8:36there. Why do they love that LeBron
- 8:37James and Luca have this, this festive hatred for one another.
- 8:42Here's the reason why. It's going to put Fannie's in
- 8:44the seats. It's going to make people want
- 8:48to come and watch these two guys, see if they can get along
- 8:52on the sidelines and who the ball is going to go to at the
- 8:56end of the game. It used to go to LeBron, now
- 8:58it's going to go to Luca. How is that going to work?
- 9:01Is it going to go to Bronie? And by the way, does Luca
- 9:04actually like Bronie James there with that roster or being a part
- 9:08of the Lakers organization? Because it's Lucas teams now.
- 9:11Lucas team now. I just, I don't know.
- 9:14And by the way, everybody's going to ask, well, where's
- 9:17LeBron going to go? So if if he decides that he
- 9:19wants to be traded at the trade deadline, there's quite a few
- 9:22teams that could be eligible to get him.
- 9:26Everybody keeps talking about the Golden State Warriors.
- 9:28They can make moves. There are players that they
- 9:30haven't signed yet. I don't know if it's Golden
- 9:33State. Every single thing in my heart
- 9:35believes it could be the Houston.
- 9:38Yes, and I'll say this, it could be Houston, the Rockets that go
- 9:43after LeBron James. And here's the reason why.
- 9:46Houston's got a good young roster.
- 9:48They don't have to trade much. They'll trade away one piece of
- 9:51that roster, 1 youngster to trade him for LeBron, and they
- 9:56bring LeBron James over there with Kevin Durant.
- 9:58Two guys that wanted to play with each other, two guys there
- 10:01at the tail end of their career, and two guys that want to win a
- 10:04championship together. Now you have another idiot over
- 10:07there as a head coach. Even though he's done wonders
- 10:10over there, he doesn't know how to keep his thing in his pants.
- 10:14But maybe LeBron can help him with that.
- 10:15Maybe the leadership of LeBron James can help him with that.
- 10:19The fact is, right now LeBron might have 3 rosters that he'd
- 10:24be interested in playing for. And two of those rosters I just
- 10:27named, the other one could be New York.
- 10:30Yes, you heard it from me, the New York Knicks.
- 10:33And everybody's going to say, well, he never wanted to play
- 10:36for the Knicks. He never wanted to go to New
- 10:38York. There's a lot of reasons why it
- 10:40would make sense. 1 He is a big super upper * Madison Square
- 10:45Garden. Finish your career in Madison
- 10:47Square Garden. Kobe never did that.
- 10:50Jordan never did that. Magic never did that, Bird never
- 10:55did that. Go to Manhattan and win a
- 10:58championship with Jalen Brunson And those the those, I don't
- 11:03want to say anything because I'm a Knick fan.
- 11:04But that debacle of a team or what we saw in the Eastern
- 11:09Conference finals, maybe he's the guy that gets him over the
- 11:12hump. The fact is, whatever he decides
- 11:16to do, whatever the Lakers decide to do, it's not going to
- 11:20be pretty by the end of this season.
- 11:23LeBron James is not going to be a Laker.
- 11:25Mark my word it. What is the betting favorites
- 11:28here in Vegas? Does anybody believe by the
- 11:30trade deadline LeBron James is a Laker?
- 11:32Because I'm going to tell you this right now.
- 11:34If it's high that he is, make a bet because he is not going to
- 11:38be a Laker at the trade deadline, I will put all the
- 11:40money on the line. What is it?
- 11:41Is there a betting odds? Does anybody have betting odds
- 11:44on that? I can't see it.
- 11:46What'd you say with with LeBron? Make it to the trade deadline.
- 11:48Yes, the trade deadline, because Lebron's going to have to prove
- 11:51that he's going to play enough games where GM's are going to be
- 11:54willing to make a move to bring them in.
- 11:56Because we all know over the years, LeBron James has this
- 12:00thing where he decides, hey, you know what?
- 12:02I don't want to play this week. Oh, I don't want to play two
- 12:04games this week and I'm going to sit out two of these because I
- 12:07don't want to be there. I don't want to play there.
- 12:08I don't want to play against this crappy team.
- 12:11I don't want to play in Charlie because the Hornets stink.
- 12:13You know, that's that's the way LeBron James plays.
- 12:16If LeBron James shows that he is going to go out there and he's
- 12:20going to play a significant amount of games that he has in
- 12:23the first half of the season over the last couple of years,
- 12:26maybe GM's would say, hey, you know what?
- 12:28Maybe we have a hungry LeBron James.
- 12:31Maybe we have a LeBron James that wants to win another
- 12:33championship and tie Kobe Bryant because right now he's got 4.
- 12:38If he wants to be considered and a lot of people think Kobe's
- 12:41better than him, I don't. I think he's the second greatest
- 12:44basketball player of all time because of statistics.
- 12:47But if he wants to be considered in the same realm as Kobe
- 12:50Bryant, as Tyler Harrison over the years says, not a chance in
- 12:54hell. Well, he needs to win that 5th
- 12:55title and he's never going to be considered Michael Jordan
- 12:59because Michael Jordan went to six finals and won all of them
- 13:04and never lost. So these are the facts Jack.
- 13:07It is now the LDA over there in Lakerville.
- 13:10It's no longer the LJA and Rob Pelinka, Kobe Bryants ex agent
- 13:17and running this stupid team to the ground as we've said plenty
- 13:20of times on the show of the years, because he's been there
- 13:23quite a few years. I think that this organization
- 13:26is starting to realize they're the bus family is not there
- 13:30anymore. And LeBron James was pissed off
- 13:32at the bus family that they didn't go to him when they
- 13:35decided to sell the team for $10 billion.
- 13:38That pissed LeBron off. Everything pisses LeBron James
- 13:41off and now he's on his stupid podcast with Steve Nash yapping
- 13:45away about certain rules and certain referees and certain
- 13:49players in the game and, and by the way, wow, Anthony Edwards,
- 13:53his best friend is LeBron. So everybody's got to jump for
- 13:56joy. 2 bitches in one friggin room.
- 13:59So that's all I'm going to say. I can't say anything more than
- 14:02that. LeBron James is a crybaby.
- 14:04He's been a crybaby really for the last 10 years and he hasn't
- 14:08won anything but the bubble year.
- 14:11And the only reason why they won was it was the bubble year.
- 14:14It was a short season and LeBron James had his time off, as we
- 14:19all know, and he didn't have to play in front of fans.
- 14:21All he had to do was play in front of fake cardboard boxes.
- 14:24That's what he played in front of.
- 14:26And Anthony Davis had his healthiest year either because
- 14:29it was a shortened season, too, and ended up winning NBA Finals
- 14:31MVP. And it was dominant in that
- 14:33sense, too. And that's something that I
- 14:35think that you would expect more with Luka Doncic now that he's
- 14:38gotten the condition. He going, as much as you like to
- 14:40play. Oh, it's a big improvement over
- 14:41the years. I don't think there was ever as
- 14:43drastic as it was like what a Nico Harrison was like to accuse
- 14:46Luka Doncic of. But Luka Doncic has put in the
- 14:48work now. He understands that.
- 14:50Yeah, if he wants to be the face of the team, maybe the face of
- 14:52the league like you're saying, like he's going to have to take.
- 14:55Say who's to say Luca wants to stay a Laker?
- 14:59He signed a three-year deal. That's what the deal was saying
- 15:01too, because. If I was Luca and I'm looking at
- 15:04the Lakers right now, there's no high praise of the Laker
- 15:07organization anymore. The Bus Family's not there
- 15:10anymore. Why would anybody want to go and
- 15:12play for the Showtime Lakers? They're not the Showtime Lakers
- 15:16anymore. They're not run by the Bus
- 15:18Family. Why would anybody want to go
- 15:20there? This is a league right now.
- 15:23I remember when we watched the OKC Thunder and everybody was
- 15:26talking about Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant and James
- 15:28Harden. Why would they want to sign back
- 15:30over there? There's no, there's nothing
- 15:32there. There's no, there's no
- 15:34endorsements, there's no sponsorships.
- 15:36There's nothing there now. The league is different.
- 15:39It doesn't matter where you play.
- 15:40You can play in Charlotte, you can play OKC, You're going to
- 15:43get the endorsements, you're going to get all the money if
- 15:46you're a superstar player. So it doesn't matter where you
- 15:48play. It's all about money now.
- 15:51It's all a business. That's the facts.
- 15:55If we watch the game right now and we can argue about football
- 15:57right now, does anybody in the NFL besides guys like Micah
- 16:03Parsons, okay, that have come out and said pay me?
- 16:07Are there other guys out there like Patrick Mahomes or even Tom
- 16:10Brady over the years taking less money?
- 16:12No, because it's not about winning anymore.
- 16:16It's about Mucho De Niro. It's about money in their
- 16:19pockets. What, you know, businesses they
- 16:22could buy after the fact or, you know, they're going to be team
- 16:25owners like Alex Rodriguez. That's what it's going to now.
- 16:28LeBron James. You don't think LeBron James is
- 16:30going to try to buy a team when he retires from the game?
- 16:33He is. He's got all the money in the
- 16:35world. He's already, they're like
- 16:38trying to do an international like basketball league, like 8
- 16:41billion bucks or something like that.
- 16:43And he's got the money behind him.
- 16:44Why? Because he's got other
- 16:46billionaires like P Diddy, as we all know.
- 16:49I hang it out, you know, hang it out there, you know.
- 16:52And by the way, there are a lot of stories.
- 16:54And I know a lot of people don't want me to talk about that, that
- 16:57whole specific story. But the fact here is there are
- 17:01many billionaires now. It's not logically.
- 17:05There's a ton of billionaires. Over the years we've seen
- 17:08billionaire after billionaire or people become a billion.
- 17:11Rihanna became a billionaire. Recently we've seen Tiger Woods
- 17:15is a billionaire, LeBron James is a billionaire, Michael
- 17:18Jordan's a billionaire, Oprah Winfrey is a billionaire.
- 17:20Those are just a few. And now there's a ton of
- 17:23billionaires. So it's not like it's it's
- 17:27impossible to become a billionaire and become a team
- 17:29owner. Maybe for me and Java, it's
- 17:31impossible, but for guys like that or girls like that, when
- 17:35you have shoe lines and makeup lines and fashion lines, you're
- 17:40going to bring in that kind of mucho De Niro.
- 17:43LeBron James has his own production company, so brawny
- 17:47productions. So I I just, I to me, it sickens
- 17:51me and and I don't know why anybody thinks that LeBron James
- 17:54or feels thinks that LeBron James has any thought in his
- 17:58mind to walk away from the game. And by the way, I don't know why
- 18:02anybody is crying for LeBron James.
- 18:04This man is still one of the powerhouses for the NBA, one of
- 18:09the faces of professional sports and really internationally, A
- 18:14superstar everywhere he goes. He's as big as Lionel Messi,
- 18:19yes, or any of those soccer players or European football
- 18:24players. In Europe, everybody knows who
- 18:26LeBron James is. Everybody.
- 18:29So I don't know why anybody's crying for LeBron James, and
- 18:32that's why Luca is not going to cry for him, and he shouldn't.
- 18:35Luca. Luca doesn't really say much of
- 18:37anything. The only thing I could say that
- 18:39Luca has come out and say is that he's happy to be a Laker
- 18:43for the next three years. Yeah, he has.
- 18:45He has personality Nico Harrison I.
- 18:47Don't know if he has personality.
- 18:49He's more personality than Nico Harrison claimed to be, where
- 18:52he's not the most popular player and oh, I underestimated how how
- 18:57how his branding was. Meanwhile, he's going to,
- 18:59especially with the Lakers now, still accelerate that probably
- 19:02prepared to it, but again, even less so than you would have
- 19:04thought the Lakers reputation has.
- 19:05And that's the pressure that this ownership now has to re
- 19:08establish themselves. Obviously not.
- 19:10I'm not saying like they're badly run like all the time, but
- 19:13like establish themselves to what they were when they were
- 19:15considered like the model franchise in the NBA because
- 19:18like you said, they're not holding anyone.
- 19:20They're not keeping anyone. They're not signing these flashy
- 19:22names besides LeBron for longer deals anymore to the way they
- 19:26used to and now Luca is probably that next step in taking it.
- 19:29And Luca had influence on the free agents they brought in this
- 19:31year, not LeBron the same. And why does anybody think that
- 19:34he is going to go to Cavs? I don't think he goes back to
- 19:37the Cavs and I don't think he goes to the Mavs either.
- 19:40Why would he go to the map? He's not going to the map.
- 19:44How are they going to afford him?
- 19:45I know it's financially impossible for this year Next.
- 19:48Year, the only reason why anybody would think that he
- 19:50wants to go there because he has a connection with Cooper flag,
- 19:53Kyrie Irving's there and so is Anthony Davis, right?
- 19:56Which is why it would be funny. How are they going to fit that
- 19:58$52 million? Contract, They're not going to
- 20:00fit it this year. It'd be a matter of either like
- 20:02a trade deadline manipulation where maybe somebody could do
- 20:04Penico Harrison into something, or it would be a next year where
- 20:07LeBron takes less to play with Kyrie Irving.
- 20:09That would really be it, But it would be funny.
- 20:10LeBron James is not going to be a Laker.
- 20:13He's just not. There's no way in hell he's a
- 20:15Laker by the trade deadline. And again, Laker, the Lakers
- 20:19organization, is not the same. This is not the same Laker
- 20:22organization. Only LeBron James knows where he
- 20:24believes he's going to be at the trade deadline.
- 20:27As a matter of fact, if LeBron James believes he's going to be
- 20:29a math, he'll be a math only. If with the NBA, it's pretty
- 20:33simple. He can sit back and say, I want
- 20:35to go here. If you don't trade me here, I'm
- 20:36not playing. I'm not playing.
- 20:38Find me, I'm not playing. We've seen how many, how many
- 20:41players have done that over the years in the NBA.
- 20:44Carmelo Anthony forced his way out of Denver, did he not?
- 20:47He forced his way to New York. He, the Brooklyn Nets gave the
- 20:50biggest offer. Remember that the Nets gave the
- 20:53biggest offer and that that con the Knicks into making that
- 20:56trade where they traded 6 guys and a pick and and and pick swap
- 21:02to land a guy like Carmelo Anthony.
- 21:04They gave away their whole roster for Carmelo Anthony.
- 21:07He never wanted to be a net, but that was his way or that was the
- 21:11the way. Obviously the Denver Nuggets
- 21:13were going to get what they want.
- 21:15Did the Denver Nuggets really get what they want?
- 21:16No, they didn't get what they want.
- 21:18It was just the best, the best package the Knicks could give
- 21:22them. So it's all these players have
- 21:25asked for their way out. How about this?
- 21:27Remember Chris Paul? Remember that Lakers deal, how
- 21:30it went dry, how how quick it went dry?
- 21:33When David Stern, they rest in peace.
- 21:35David Stern was there and it was practically sealed and delivered
- 21:40that Chris Paul was going to the Lakers and David Stern stepped
- 21:44right in and blocked it. Remember that?
- 21:47Remember when that happened? Could you imagine Chris Paul and
- 21:52Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol playing on one team?
- 21:56Could you imagine that threesome?
- 21:58They win multiple championships, probably more than Kobe and Pau
- 22:03Gasol. 1 which was 2 I think, if I'm not mistaken right.
- 22:06I think it was 2 with Ron Artest or Metta World Peace and Lamar
- 22:11Odom. So I remember that roster and
- 22:14Andrew Bynum, remember that we brought that up many, many
- 22:16times. Fish, remember that one.
- 22:18So I I think obviously the Lakers and the organization has
- 22:24to make either a drastic move and say, you know what, LeBron,
- 22:27we don't want you on this roster before the season starts.
- 22:30Where do you want to go? Or you play a significant
- 22:34portion of these games so we can get as much as we possibly can
- 22:37for you and move you where you want to go.
- 22:40And that's the problem with like these players having power like
- 22:42we talked about. So like a lot of those trades
- 22:44that are considered like these force out trades, fleece type
- 22:46trades that happened with the LeBron James era type of
- 22:49superstars. And we've talked about with
- 22:51Kevin Durant, we've talked about it with Kyrie Irving.
- 22:53A lot of those types of guys are the ones that are manipulating
- 22:55it to let to a lesser extent, like maybe Joel Embiid is
- 22:59probably the youngest one that's saying otherwise and complaining
- 23:01about everything. But it's mostly that generation
- 23:03that's doing it. And this is going to be the next
- 23:05chapter of it too, because LeBron, Oh, Luka Dodgek's here.
- 23:08You would think he'd be excited. No, it's a complete opposite of
- 23:11what we thought six months ago when we thought he was.
- 23:13Oh, he's manipulating the league again.
- 23:14The LJA getting what they want, rewarding The Mavericks of the.
- 23:17Picks The Lakers should sign Jabba Chamberlain.
- 23:20Could you imagine Jabba taking on?
- 23:21I mean, he's 63. He's got some size.
- 23:23All we got to do is stick his big body at the hoop and he can
- 23:26get a couple layups. Hey Jabba, could you dunk a?
- 23:28Ball I can shoot. You could shoot, really.
- 23:30We got to play some ball. I'll play some horse.
- 23:33I can't, I can't shoot like my son.
- 23:34It got embarrassing when when I started then he I was like, Nah,
- 23:38I'm good man, your son. 'S good at basketball.
- 23:40Oh yeah, it was. He was really good.
- 23:42Like, it'll come up with moments on my phone and I kind of miss
- 23:45watching him play basketball. It was fun.
- 23:47But yeah, he dunked just standing there two footed.
- 23:50Yeah. Really.
- 23:51He dunked. Really.
- 23:52Yeah, he's. He's got some OPS.
- 23:54He's. Yeah, he's pretty good athlete,
- 23:56pretty good athlete. They just won.
- 23:57They just won the NBC World Series, so shout out to my son.
- 24:00Congratulations to Carter. Carter Chamberlain.
- 24:02Yeah, they they beat him 21 to five.
- 24:04Wow, Wow. Yeah, yeah, it was, it was a
- 24:08butt whooping. So, but it's so I'm going to go
- 24:10back to what you said and kind of what Speedy said too.
- 24:13So you're saying he's going to play more early to show and that
- 24:16is, is that your reason why you think that he'll go at the
- 24:19deadline and not be a Laker? Just to be like, I'm still
- 24:22vested in it. All right, Jabba, if you watch
- 24:26LeBron James this season, he plays more than seven or eight
- 24:31games last year in the first half of the season.
- 24:34You know what the Lakers are planning to do and what LeBron
- 24:37James is going to plan to do at the trade deadline.
- 24:41There's no way. There's no way LeBron James
- 24:43plays less games this year knowing that teams or even GM
- 24:48think that he's at the tail end of his career and he can't do it
- 24:51anymore. He wants to prove a point, and
- 24:54if he proves a point, the Lakers know they can get something
- 24:57significant back for him. So if they could get another
- 25:02young superstar player to come and play with LeBron, I mean
- 25:05with Luka Doncic in the future, and give Luka more options in
- 25:10the offseason to try to draw maybe a Yokich or of that
- 25:14magnitude to want to come and play.
- 25:15Could you imagine Yokich and Luka playing with the Lakers?
- 25:18I don't know how long Yokich is going to want to play in Denver.
- 25:21I mean, what does Denver have? They have Murray.
- 25:23Jamal Murray could be on his way out.
- 25:25They just traded about Michael Porter.
- 25:27He goes to the, he goes to the Nets.
- 25:29I mean, what do they have over there?
- 25:31What do they have? But I think I think Joker will
- 25:34stay there too because he doesn't like all that hoopla.
- 25:36I think that's it's a good fit for him just because he doesn't
- 25:40have to deal with all the BS and and all the reporters and
- 25:44whatever. Because you imagine you rub that
- 25:45big dude the wrong way, you might have a knock on your door
- 25:48from one of his brothers. And I'm, I'm, I'm gonna go ahead
- 25:50and stay away from. That I don't have enough horses
- 25:52in LA. Well.
- 25:54If yeah for sure. If if you, I don't know if
- 25:56anybody watches, you know, certain backroom stuff with the
- 25:59All Star game, him and Luke are very very close.
- 26:02Oh yeah, they're, they're joking.
- 26:03Like they're like jokes. Stuff like if they hit each
- 26:06other, those are great. They're they're very close with
- 26:09one another connection, obviously international players.
- 26:13And Luca over the years has always said that Yokich has
- 26:17always been a helpful person to go to offseason to train with
- 26:23and work out with. And Yokich is a guy that says if
- 26:27there's anybody that I can consider as good as I am in this
- 26:30league, he's he's put high praise to Luka Doncic.
- 26:34So these guys love each other. They're international players.
- 26:37They're probably two of the best, if not, you can argue the
- 26:40Greek Freak, Mr. Giannis is right there with them.
- 26:44Those are arguably the three best players in the league.
- 26:46And there and then I'm sorry, there's another foreign player
- 26:49that just wanted an MVP in Shy Alexander.
- 26:52So he's another one for The four best players right now in the
- 26:56NBA are international players. That's crazy.
- 26:59You did mention Joel and Beads, but you'll be you'll be thankful
- 27:03for this. He's not wearing Nikes.
- 27:04I just saw him endorse Skechers so good for him.
- 27:06You don't have to worry about an Achilles with Joel and Beads.
- 27:08First of. All you have to worry about
- 27:09every injury. How the hell did they how the
- 27:12hell did they find Skechers that could fit that big ass foot?
- 27:15I mean, seriously, how he's. Got to wear like a 17 or 18.
- 27:18Dude, his foot's bigger than that.
- 27:20I, I if I'm not mistaken, his foot's right under Shaquille.
- 27:23I think he would. If I'm not mistaken, I heard
- 27:26that he wore a 20 or 2021 1/2 or something like that.
- 27:29Look that up. I I'm pretty sure Joel Embiid
- 27:32and and Shaquille O'Neal a couple of.
- 27:35Years ago it says 17. It says 17 They put their shoes
- 27:39together and they were very they weren't far, far off from one
- 27:43another. When Remember when Shaquille
- 27:45O'Neal had that beer in that, that that sneaker?
- 27:47He was drinking out of a sneaker.
- 27:48Didn't they say you could fit a gallon a milk in shack?
- 27:53So I it's a funny story. Me and Speedy went to an
- 27:56autograph signing over there at in Nassau County and somebody
- 28:01was showing off Shaquille O'neal's game worn sneaker.
- 28:04Remember that? Speedy signed and I told Speedy
- 28:08to put it closer to his chest. Dude, Jabba, it was from his
- 28:12neck down to the bottom of his torso is practically the size of
- 28:15his torso. I'm not lying to you.
- 28:18That's how big Shaquille O'neal's foot was.
- 28:20I mean, it's it's kind of weird looking at how how big this man
- 28:25is and how does he find a golf shoe that fits him on a golf
- 28:29course. He goes to that.
- 28:30He goes to that place in Atlanta that he that guy specializes
- 28:34like in all those, all those big, like shoe sizes or
- 28:37whatever. Yeah.
- 28:38Yeah. The biggest one I've ever seen,
- 28:40too. And I've seen pictures of Shaq.
- 28:41I've never seen one in person. But for our wrestling fans, Paul
- 28:45Wright, Big Show. Yeah, I got to know him because
- 28:49the WWE did a lot of stuff for the Yankees.
- 28:51You got to resemble him right now with that beard.
- 28:53Yeah, and so I got to know him pretty well and I had a
- 28:57foundation event and he sent me, he sent me a pair of his boots.
- 29:02Dude, you could have used these as a deadly weapon.
- 29:04These things were crazy. And it's, and they weren't just
- 29:09like a red. It was, I mean, it was
- 29:11monstrous. It like when I got it, I, I knew
- 29:14he was going to send something, but I didn't know what it was.
- 29:18And so he was like, yeah, I'll send you something.
- 29:20Here's my manager, like give me the address, blah, blah, blah.
- 29:23So I was like, all right, cool. Thank you so much.
- 29:24I thought it was gonna be like AT shirt or something, just
- 29:27something that he signed whatever.
- 29:28Cuz they usually just sign it and then whoever asks they just
- 29:31they ship it all up. What size shoe do you wear?
- 29:33Jabba. 13. All right, I wear 11 and a half.
- 29:3712 so. And you're 6 foot three.
- 29:39I got big feet. I have like clown feet.
- 29:42I have the smallest hands. My uncle calls me Little Hands.
- 29:44He says that if I was an Indian, he would say that my nickname
- 29:48would be Little Hands. That's what he would.
- 29:50Call hold on dot or feather. I don't, dude.
- 29:53My hands are small, all right? I have I.
- 29:55Mean I'm the only one that can say that.
- 29:57As long as I can, you know, my, I can tell you this.
- 30:01I got some junk in the trunk anyways, so you know what I
- 30:03mean. I've got more than enough to
- 30:06grab, if you know what I mean. Speedy, how about you?
- 30:09You have more than enough grab. Or how about a Bush?
- 30:11Speedy speedy What size? What size foot you feature in?
- 30:15I'm in nine and a half. I just got small feet.
- 30:17Speedy got small feet. He's really small, you know.
- 30:20How about you scoops? What shoe do you wear?
- 30:22I mean, seriously. There's a certain.
- 30:24As well 1313 I have flat. Feet though I have that flat
- 30:27foot syndrome thingy. I guess you could say we're
- 30:29like, I don't have an Archer to my foot.
- 30:31I have a half a flat foot. That's what my doctor just told
- 30:34me when I went to a foot. Doctor, how do you get half a
- 30:36half a well? My mom has the same thing, it's
- 30:37like one of her foot is flat and one of her has like a.
- 30:39Bit of oh, it's like a half a flat foot, that's what they.
- 30:42It's probably, yeah, good point, fish.
- 30:44It's probably because you're on the toilet enough that your feet
- 30:46just kind of just settled. Wow.
- 30:48My feet are ingrained into the bowl.
- 30:50Definitely ingrained into the ball.
- 30:52There's no do you? Use Do you use a Squatty Potty?
- 30:55Me. No, but I like.
- 30:56Bro. Change.
- 30:58It'll change the game. Yeah, I was about to say,
- 31:00apparently. I'm supposed to be Squatty Potty
- 31:02A. Squatty Potty brought to you by
- 31:03Just White You're. Supposed to sit at an angle
- 31:05whenever you take a deuce, so. I do that anyways.
- 31:08I have one cheek when I by the way, everybody asks me how do
- 31:11you wipe your ass? OK.
- 31:12And they like, do you put your hand between your legs or do you
- 31:16go behind? Wait, wait, what were you
- 31:18talking about with one cheek? How do you?
- 31:20What are you saying? Maybe with that one, no.
- 31:23So I keep 1 cheek on the ball when I'm taking a dump.
- 31:26I do that. I I like I have one leg like
- 31:29lift up like this. So I ghost riding the bowl.
- 31:32Yes, I ghost ride the ball. You know it's it's supposed to
- 31:36be. Comfortable, it's supposed.
- 31:37To be so, listen. I have like you're like this.
- 31:41I skeeve. OK, I skeeve my God public
- 31:44bathroom. So what do I do?
- 31:46So I clean one side of the I make sure that at least one side
- 31:50of the bowl is clean. So I've trained myself, even if
- 31:53I go to a public bathroom that I can kind of elevate.
- 31:57My you can public deuce. Yes, what you.
- 32:00Can you can public deuce? Sometimes if I really have to
- 32:04go, if I really have to lay one out, you.
- 32:06Got to have a clean bathroom. And dude, I am the cleanest
- 32:10person. Speedy, who has the cleanest
- 32:12bathroom you've ever been in? I am, I am the most anal person
- 32:17you will ever meet when it comes to bathrooms.
- 32:19Anybody would. Do you eat fettuccine Alfredo
- 32:21off of the floors of your bathroom?
- 32:23Never. Oh I I could, but I would never
- 32:26clean. It's that clean.
- 32:27Yes, OK, exactly. I have I have my own little
- 32:30vacuum that I vacuum up everything for the bathroom,
- 32:34just for the bathroom. I only use it for the bathroom.
- 32:37That's how crazy I am when it comes to bathrooms.
- 32:40So yeah. And when I and that's how I
- 32:42people probably think I'm a little crazy and they say how
- 32:45the hell do you, you know, keep 1 cheek on a ball?
- 32:48Well, I, I can't explain it. You would have to see me do it,
- 32:51but. I mean, I'm going to take your
- 32:53word for it at this point. You can tell Jake all about this
- 32:57conversation tomorrow on ESPN New York, by the way.
- 33:04Just got here, Errol. Oh, there you go.
- 33:06By the way, ladies and gentlemen, Jabo will be featured
- 33:10on ESPN New York tomorrow on the Drive Home Show, so you get a
- 33:15chance. To hit the job at 1:30. 1:30
- 33:18Well, it's not the drive home show, it's 1:30.
- 33:21It's like the midday, the middle midday show.
- 33:23So well, he'll be working or beyond.
- 33:27He'll be on one of my guys, Jake Asmin on his show, filling in
- 33:31and giving his take on the garbage Yankees.
- 33:33As we were just speaking about him.
- 33:35Speaking of interesting stories, we have our golf clap.
- 33:40This deserves a golf clap. No doubt.
- 33:44Golf clap. Golf clap.
- 33:47Ladies and gentlemen, our golf clap of the day goes to the San
- 33:51Antonio Spurs as they finally land their future point guard.
- 33:57Or do they? San Antonio star D Aaron Fox has
- 34:01agreed to a four year, $229 million maximum contract
- 34:07extension for the franchise, Clutch Sports CEO Rich Paul told
- 34:12ESPN. Ladies and gentlemen, the Max
- 34:16deal has no player option in the final year of the Fox's future
- 34:22San Antonio future with San Antonio through 2029 and 30
- 34:27season after the trade deadline deal moved the alt of the one
- 34:32time All Star and one time all NBA guard the Sacramento Kings
- 34:37traded to the Spurs. Fox and Paul were able to
- 34:41navigate a trade to his for destination, which was San
- 34:46Antonio in February to secure a long term extension months later
- 34:53in a state with no income tax compared to his prior California
- 34:59residents. The Spurs drafted guard Dylan
- 35:01Harper with the number two pick in June's NBA draft and now have
- 35:06a young talented backcourt of Fox and Harper and Stefan
- 35:10Castle. So ladies and gentlemen,
- 35:14probably the best backcourt and young backcourt in the NBAI
- 35:19thought they were going to move D Aaron Fox and trade him in the
- 35:23offseason. Well, Rich Paul and ownership
- 35:26over there with San Antonio looks otherwise with the
- 35:29organization and where they see the organization going with
- 35:32webbing, Yama Harper and now D Aaron Fox.
- 35:35So my golf clap of the day congratulations to D Aaron Fox,
- 35:39one of my favorite electrifying players in the NBA.
- 35:45Thank you TD Aaron Fox. I'd like to thank Spotify and
- 35:49all the Apple downloads follow us on TikTok at Instagram and

- 36:30Anyways, that's it for our show, ladies and gentlemen.

- 36:35anything else. PT you do shave those bushes.
