Welcome to Bible chat where? We have devotional conversations
• 0:06
rooted in scripture and relevant for today, March 3rd, Beauty,
• 0:11
  hope, and God. 'S care.
• 0:12
We live in a world that is obsessed with appearances
• 0:16
  filters. Highlights Likes followers It's
• 0:19
easy to believe that. If we look good on the outside,
• 0:21
everything must be fine on the inside.
• 0:24
But deep down, we know that's not always true.
• 0:28
You can look put. Together and still feel
• 0:29
completely lost. Proverbs Chapter. 11 verses 22
• 0:33
to 23 says like a gold ring in a pig, Snout is a beautiful woman
• 0:38
without discretion. The desire of the.
• 0:41
Righteous ends only in good, the expectation of the wicked in
• 0:44
wrath. That image is strong on purpose.
• 0:48
A gold ring is valuable and beautiful, but placed in the
• 0:51
wrong setting, it loses its meaning.
• 0:54
  The point isn't about appearance.
• 0:55
It's about character, outward beauty without.
• 0:59
  Wisdom without. Integrity without self-control.
• 1:02
Doesn't bring lasting value. God cares.
• 1:05
Far more about who we are becoming than how we are
• 1:07
  perceived. Psalm 25 verses.
• 1:10
Four to five gives us the better way.
• 1:12
Make me to know your ways. Oh Lord, teach me your paths.
• 1:17
Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my
• 1:19
salvation. For you, I wait all the day
• 1:21
  long. That's a.
• 1:23
  Heart that understands true beauty.
• 1:25
A heart that says. God shape me, teach me, lead me.
• 1:29
I don't just want to look right, I want to live right and then in
• 1:33
  Job. Chapter 5.
• 1:34
Verses 17 to 18. We read Behold.
• 1:38
Blessed is the one whom God. Reproves therefore.
• 1:41
Despise not the discipline of the Almighty, for he wounds, but
• 1:45
  he binds up. He shatters.
• 1:46
But his hands heal. That can feel confusing at
• 1:49
  first. Why would blessing involve
• 1:51
  correction? Because.
• 1:53
God's discipline is not punishment meant to destroy you.
• 1:57
It is. Loving correction meant to
• 1:58
refine you. When he allows hard seasons, it
• 2:01
is never to crush. Your spirit, but to shape your
• 2:03
character sometimes. God's care doesn't look like
• 2:07
  comfort. Sometimes it.
• 2:09
Looks like growth. And growth can be uncomfortable.
• 2:13
Maybe you're in a season where you feel.
• 2:14
  Stretched. Corrected.
• 2:16
Or even broken in some area. Maybe you're.
• 2:19
Realizing that what looked shiny on the outside wasn't healthy on
• 2:22
the inside. That's not the end of your
• 2:25
  story. That's God.
• 2:26
  Reshaping you. Real beauty.
• 2:28
Is built in quiet obedience. Real strength grows in seasons
• 2:31
of waiting. Real hope comes from knowing
• 2:34
  that even when God. Corrects.
• 2:36
He also heals. He never wounds without binding
• 2:39
  up. He never.
• 2:40
Shatters without. Restoring so instead of chasing
• 2:44
what impresses. People ask God to build what?
• 2:46
Pleases Him. Ask Him to form discretion,
• 2:49
wisdom, patience and truth inside you.
• 2:52
  That kind of. Beauty lasts.
• 2:54
That kind of hope carries you. Through every season, let's.
• 2:57
Pray. Heavenly Father, thank you for
• 3:00
caring about my heart more than my appearance.
• 3:02
Teach me. Your ways and lead me in your
• 3:04
  truth. Help me value character.
• 3:07
  Wisdom and integrity. Over what?
• 3:09
Others see on the outside. When you correct me, remind me
• 3:12
that it is because you love me and are shaping me for good.
• 3:16
Heal what is broken in me and build something beautiful.
• 3:18
That reflects. You in Jesus name, Amen.

Bible reading plan. Proverbs, Chapter 11.
• 4:50
Verses 22 to 23 World English Bible.
• 4:54
Like a. Gold Ring in a pig Snout is a
• 4:56
  beautiful woman who lacks discretion.
• 4:59
The desire of the. Righteous is only good.
• 5:01
The expectation of the wicked is.
• 5:03
Wrath. Psalm chapter 25 World English
• 5:06
Bible by David. To you Yahweh.
• 5:09
I lift up my soul. My God, I have trusted in you.
• 5:12
Don't let me be shamed. Don't let my enemies triumph
• 5:15
  over me. Yes.
• 5:16
No one who waits for you will be shamed.
• 5:18
  They will be shamed. Who?
• 5:19
  Deal. Treacherously without.
• 5:20
Cause show me your. Ways Yahweh.
• 5:22
  Teach. Me your paths guide.
• 5:24
Me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my
• 5:27
  salvation. I wait.
• 5:28
For you all day long, Yahweh, remember your tender mercies and
• 5:32
your loving kindness, for they are from old times.
• 5:35
Don't remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions.
• 5:38
Remember Me according to your loving kindness, for your
• 5:41
  goodness. Sake.
• 5:41
  Yahweh. Good and upright.
• 5:43
Is Yahweh. Therefore He will instruct
• 5:45
sinners in the way. He will guide the humble
• 5:48
injustice. He will teach the humble his
• 5:50
way. All the paths of Yahweh are.
• 5:52
Loving kindness and truth to. Such as?
• 5:54
Keep His covenant and His testimonies for your name's
• 5:57
  sake, Yahweh. Pardon my iniquity.
• 5:59
For it is great. What man is he?
• 6:01
Who fears Yahweh? He shall instruct him in the way
• 6:04
that he. Shall choose, his soul will
• 6:06
dwell at ease. His offspring will inherit the
• 6:08
land, the friendship. Of Yahweh is with.
• 6:10
Those who fear Him, He will show them His covenant.
• 6:14
My eyes are ever on Yahweh, for He will pluck my feet out of the
• 6:17
net, turn to me, and have mercy on me, for I am desolate and
• 6:21
afflicted. The troubles of my heart are
• 6:23
enlarged. O bring me out of my distresses.
• 6:26
Consider my affliction and my. Travail.
• 6:28
Forgive. All my sins consider my enemies,
• 6:31
for they are many. They hate me with cruel hatred,
• 6:34
  O. Keep my soul and deliver me.
• 6:36
Let me not be disappointed, for I take refuge in you.
• 6:39
Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait.
• 6:42
  For you. God.
• 6:43
Redeem Israel out of all his troubles.
• 6:46
Job chapters 4 to 5. World English Bible, then
• 6:49
Alephas the Temenite answered. If someone ventures to talk.
• 6:53
With you, will you be grieved? But who can withhold himself
• 6:56
  from speaking? Behold.
• 6:58
You have instructed many. You have strengthened the weak
• 7:00
  hands. Your words have.
• 7:02
Supported him who was falling. You have made the feeble knees
• 7:04
firm, but now it has come to you, and you faint.
• 7:08
It touches. You and you are.
• 7:09
Troubled isn't. Your piety, your confidence
• 7:12
isn't the integrity. Of your ways, your hope.
• 7:14
Remember now whoever perished being innocent.
• 7:17
Or where were the upright cut off according?
• 7:19
To what I have seen, those who plow iniquity and sow trouble
• 7:22
reap the same. By the breath of God they perish
• 7:26
by the. Blast of his anger are they
• 7:27
consumed. The roaring of the lion and the
• 7:30
voice of the fierce lion. The teeth of the Young Lions are
• 7:33
  broken. The old lion perishes.
• 7:35
For lack of prey. The Cubs of the lioness are.
• 7:38
Scattered abroad. Now a thing was secretly brought
• 7:40
to me. My ear received a.
• 7:42
Whisper of it. In thoughts from the visions of
• 7:44
the night when deep sleep falls on men, fear came on me, and
• 7:48
trembling which made all my bones shake, then a.
• 7:51
Spirit passed. Before my face, the hair of my
• 7:53
  flesh. Stood up.
• 7:54
It stood still, but I couldn't. Discern its appearance.
• 7:57
A form was before my eyes. Silence.
• 8:00
Then I heard a voice saying, Shall mortal man be more just
• 8:03
than God? Shall a man be more pure than
• 8:05
his Maker? Behold, he puts no trust in his
• 8:08
servants, he charges. His angels with error.
• 8:11
How much more those who dwell in houses of clay, whose foundation
• 8:15
is in the dust? Who are?
• 8:16
Crushed before the moth between morning and evening, they are.
• 8:19
Destroyed, they perish forever. Without any regarding it, isn't
• 8:23
there tent cord plucked up within them?
• 8:25
They die, and that without wisdom call.
• 8:27
Now, is there any who will answer you?
• 8:30
To which of the holy ones will you turn?
• 8:32
For resentment kills the foolish man, and jealousy kills the
• 8:35
simple. I have seen the foolish taking
• 8:37
root, but suddenly I cursed his habitation.
• 8:40
His children are far from safety.
• 8:43
They are crushed in the. Gate neither.
• 8:45
Is there any to deliver them whose harvest the hungry eat up
• 8:48
and take it even out of the thorns the snare gapes for their
• 8:51
substance, for affliction doesn't come out of the dust.
• 8:55
Neither does. Trouble spring out of the
• 8:56
ground, but man is born to trouble.
• 8:58
As the sparks fly upward. But As for me, I would.
• 9:01
Seek God. I would commit my cause.
• 9:04
To God. Who does great things that can't
• 9:06
be fathomed? Marvelous things without number.
• 9:09
Who gives rain on the earth and sends waters on the fields so
• 9:12
that he sets up on high? Those who are low.
• 9:15
Those who mourn are exalted. To safety.
• 9:17
He frustrates the plans of the. Crafty so.
• 9:20
That their hands can't perform their enterprise.
• 9:23
He takes. The wise in their own
• 9:24
craftiness, the counsel of the cunning, is carried headlong.
• 9:28
They meet with darkness in the daytime, and grope at noonday as
• 9:31
in the night. But he saves from the sword of
• 9:33
their mouth, even the needy from the hand of the mighty.
• 9:36
  So the. Poor.
• 9:37
Has hope and injustice. Shuts her mouth.
• 9:40
Behold. Happy is the man whom.
• 9:41
God corrects. Therefore do not despise the
• 9:44
chastening of the Almighty, for he wounds and binds up he
• 9:47
injuries, and his hands make whole.
• 9:49
He will. Deliver you in six.
• 9:51
Troubles, yes. In Seven no evil.
• 9:53
  Will touch you in. Famine.
• 9:55
He will redeem you from death in war.
• 9:57
From the power of the sword. You will be hidden from the
• 10:00
scourge of the tongue neither. Will you be afraid of?
• 10:02
Destruction when it comes. You will laugh at.
• 10:05
Destruction and famine. Neither will you be.
• 10:07
Afraid of the animals of the Earth?
• 10:09
For you will be allied. With the stones of the field.
• 10:12
The animals of the field will be at peace with you.
• 10:14
You will know that your tent is in peace.
• 10:17
You will visit your. Fold and will miss nothing.
• 10:19
You will know also that your offspring will be.
• 10:21
Great, your offspring as the grass of the earth.
• 10:24
You will come to your grave in a full age.
