- 0:58Speaker 2: Hi, guys.
- 0:59Speaker 1: Welcome back to Misunderstood. I'm your host, Rachel Yucatel. So
- 1:02Speaker 1: to say this guest takes us on a journey is
- 1:05Speaker 1: an understatement. I was beyond excited to talk to Eric Neese,
- 1:08Speaker 1: obviously famous for being on the very first season of
- 1:11Speaker 1: MTV's The Real World. We got to talk all about that.
- 1:15Speaker 1: And I was super excited to have him here. However,
- 1:18Speaker 1: the reason why I really wanted him on Misunderstood is
- 1:21Speaker 1: to talk more about something that I am so interested
- 1:24Speaker 1: in and I think it's very misunderstood. That is the
- 1:28Speaker 1: world of ayahuasca. He helps others discover the healing world
- 1:32Speaker 1: of ayahuasca. And if you're a fan, if you're curious,
- 1:35Speaker 1: or if you're a naysayer, you won't want to miss
- 1:37Speaker 1: Eric's insights and his firsthand experiences. So please sit back
- 1:41Speaker 1: and welcome Eric Neese. But I want to know how
- 2:12Speaker 1: it is in Hawaii right now. Is that where you are?
- 2:17Speaker 2: Oh, boy. Yeah, I live on the north shore of Kauai,
- 2:23Speaker 2: and the fires are on Maui, so it's on another island,
- 2:27Speaker 2: but it's just absolutely devastating, sad, beyond imagination. You know,
- 2:35Speaker 2: a whole town, a whole community... just devastated, hundreds and
- 2:41Speaker 2: hundreds of people still missing. Yeah, it couldn't be any worse. Yeah.
- 2:48Speaker 1: So did it happen in the middle of the night
- 2:50Speaker 1: or something? Is that why people didn't have the time
- 2:53Speaker 1: to escape?
- 2:56Speaker 2: Well, there's a lot of stories going around about what happened.
- 3:01Speaker 2: There's information that's coming out every day, supposedly. uh, winds
- 3:08Speaker 2: from a hurricane that were like 600 miles away to
- 3:11Speaker 2: the South. Um, you know, somehow fueled this, um, maybe
- 3:17Speaker 2: it was a downed power line. They're not quite sure. Um,
- 3:21Speaker 2: the sirens didn't go off. The, the wind was blowing
- 3:25Speaker 2: really fast. So the embers were flying very quickly and
- 3:30Speaker 2: everything went up like so, so fast, but, um, yeah,
- 3:37Speaker 2: people just couldn't get out of town fast enough.
- 3:40Speaker 1: Wow. I mean, that's just so incredibly devastating. I spent
- 3:43Speaker 1: a lot of Christmas vacations in Lahaina and, um, I
- 3:48Speaker 1: actually studied humpback whales in college and I was there
- 3:52Speaker 1: for like half a semester and, um, you know, it's
- 3:55Speaker 1: such a beautiful place and it's, that's just so devastating
- 3:59Speaker 1: and awful.
- 3:59Speaker 2: So, yeah.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Um, did you guys have the smoke? Like when I
- 4:04Speaker 1: was in New York, we had the, um, the fires
- 4:07Speaker 1: from Canada was blowing and it was like, it looked
- 4:10Speaker 1: like we were in Armageddon. I mean, it was like
- 4:13Speaker 1: a haze. Did that happen with you guys or is it,
- 4:16Speaker 1: is it, did it not work that way? Cause you
- 4:18Speaker 1: guys are an Island.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Yeah. The wind was Maui's far from, from here and
- 4:23Speaker 2: the wind was blowing in a completely different direction. Wow. Okay.
- 4:28Speaker 3: All right.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Anyway, so we can start. I just wanted to ask
- 4:31Speaker 1: you about that. Cause I, I'm, I just feel so
- 4:33Speaker 1: awful for what people are going through there. Devastating.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Thank you. Thank you for asking. Appreciate that. Okay.
- 4:40Speaker 1: So Eric, thank you so much for joining me on misunderstood.
- 4:43Speaker 1: It's such an honor to meet you because you are
- 4:46Speaker 1: like the OG grandfather of reality TV and reality TV
- 4:51Speaker 1: has become such a big deal since since your days
- 4:55Speaker 1: of doing it, as you know. I mean, it was
- 4:57Speaker 1: also back then. But I am having you on the
- 5:01Speaker 1: show because I really want to talk to you about
- 5:02Speaker 1: ayahuasca and the mysteries and the questions surrounding that. But
- 5:07Speaker 1: before I can even start that, I mean, it would
- 5:09Speaker 1: be remiss if we didn't talk for a little bit
- 5:12Speaker 1: about your journey of why you do that now, why
- 5:14Speaker 1: it's so important to you and the path forward. that
- 5:16Speaker 1: you took to get there. So if you don't mind,
- 5:19Speaker 1: can we talk about that a little bit? Um, I
- 5:21Speaker 1: want to first start with how did you get that
- 5:25Speaker 1: call or find out about the casting to be on
- 5:29Speaker 1: the real world?
- 5:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I had a modeling agency and I was, you know,
- 5:34Speaker 2: getting into modeling and, and commercial work potentially acting. So
- 5:38Speaker 2: I was with click modeling agency at the time and
- 5:41Speaker 2: it was just another casting that came through the agency. Wow.
- 5:46Speaker 2: For the real world.
- 5:48Speaker 1: And so how did they represent it? What did they
- 5:50Speaker 1: say you were going to have to do? How long
- 5:53Speaker 1: you were going to have to participate? What made you
- 5:55Speaker 1: interested in that, in that casting?
- 5:58Speaker 2: Uh, money opportunity, you know, another job, you know, when you're,
- 6:04Speaker 2: when you're with an agency in New York, there's castings,
- 6:08Speaker 2: they come through every day. Sometimes you have, you know,
- 6:11Speaker 2: six to 10 to 12 castings every day. So it
- 6:14Speaker 2: was just on my casting call list.
- 6:19Speaker 1: And do you remember what it was specifically asking for?
- 6:21Speaker 2: A model interested in getting into acting.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Interesting. Okay. And their version of acting, was that being
- 6:31Speaker 1: on television or they were looking for someone who their
- 6:34Speaker 1: career goal was to be an actor?
- 6:38Speaker 2: Yeah. Career goal, definitely, you know, looking for the model,
- 6:42Speaker 2: interested in acting, that kind of stereotypical look for the show.
- 6:49Speaker 2: That was the character that they were looking for in me.
- 6:53Speaker 1: So that's really interesting to me. So it wasn't an
- 6:55Speaker 1: open casting for seven people that wanted to just live
- 6:59Speaker 1: in a house together or live in an apartment or
- 7:01Speaker 1: loft and see what it was like to, you know,
- 7:05Speaker 1: be filmed. So it didn't really come down the pike
- 7:07Speaker 1: like that, it sounds like.
- 7:09Speaker 2: It was. In my case, for my character, they were
- 7:13Speaker 2: looking for a male model.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Okay.
- 7:16Speaker 2: You know, they found Julie in a mall in Alabama.
- 7:19Speaker 2: They found Norm... looking for another loft to shoot in
- 7:25Speaker 2: potentially in Brooklyn, which, uh, where they shot the pilot
- 7:29Speaker 2: for the real world was in Norm's loft, you know? Um,
- 7:35Speaker 2: and then everybody, Andre, they were looking for, uh, you know,
- 7:40Speaker 2: somebody in music, a rock star type. Um, and they
- 7:43Speaker 2: found him in a completely different way. So it really was,
- 7:47Speaker 2: it was an open casting call looking for all different
- 7:49Speaker 2: types of Of people, but also, you know, obviously interesting
- 7:55Speaker 2: people that had some type of, you know, creative ability.
- 8:00Speaker 2: You know, Kevin was a writer. Heather was a rapper.
- 8:05Speaker 2: I was a model. Andre was a musician. Becky was
- 8:09Speaker 2: a musician. Everybody, you know, had some kind of, you know,
- 8:13Speaker 2: creative or... Um, I don't know. I'm not, modeling is
- 8:19Speaker 2: not very creative, but I guess acting is. Yeah. Right.
- 8:23Speaker 1: So you guys all had something in common a little bit.
- 8:25Speaker 1: It wasn't like somebody was doing nails or something or whatever.
- 8:30Speaker 3: Um, yeah.
- 8:30Speaker 1: Yeah. Okay. So, so, and what was the process of
- 8:33Speaker 1: your casting? Did you have a bunch of callbacks? Were you,
- 8:36Speaker 1: you know, did they see you and say, Oh my God,
- 8:38Speaker 1: this guy's it.
- 8:41Speaker 2: There was a lot of castings. There was the first,
- 8:43Speaker 2: first call was kind of submit your photo, answer some questions.
- 8:48Speaker 2: And then they brought us back. We were brought me
- 8:49Speaker 2: back a second time. Then they put me on camera
- 8:53Speaker 2: and then they brought me back a third time where
- 8:56Speaker 2: the camera was moving around the room to see how
- 8:59Speaker 2: I would react with, with a moving camera asking tougher questions.
- 9:04Speaker 2: And then the next casting was in a room with
- 9:07Speaker 2: a bunch of producers and And it kind of went
- 9:10Speaker 2: on from there. So I think I did maybe three
- 9:12Speaker 2: or four castings before I got the part.
- 9:15Speaker 1: So and as you got further into this, were you like, oh,
- 9:18Speaker 1: my gosh, I really want this? Or just was this
- 9:20Speaker 1: like an everyday thing where you were going on different
- 9:22Speaker 1: casting calls?
- 9:23Speaker 2: You know, at that time in my life, I really
- 9:26Speaker 2: wasn't interested in being a model or an actor. My
- 9:30Speaker 2: life at that time, 18, 19, 20 years old, I
- 9:33Speaker 2: was I was Very much an athlete in high school.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Thought that I was going to go to college to
- 9:41Speaker 2: play football or soccer or some sport. The only reason
- 9:45Speaker 2: that I got into it was to make money. I
- 9:49Speaker 2: needed a job. I wasn't going to college. I wasn't
- 9:52Speaker 2: interested in college. And so my mom basically said, what
- 9:58Speaker 2: are you going to do with the rest of your life?
- 10:01Speaker 2: Why don't you try modeling and acting? I mean, my
- 10:03Speaker 2: first reaction was no way I'm not doing that. I
- 10:06Speaker 2: had zero interest. And then a good friend of our
- 10:09Speaker 2: families became one of the top male models in the world.
- 10:14Speaker 2: And he had all the connections. And he came up
- 10:16Speaker 2: to me one day and said, look, you know, if
- 10:18Speaker 2: you lose some weight and you get shredded, you know,
- 10:21Speaker 2: get your body in shape and I can bring you in.
- 10:24Speaker 2: And and I think that they would be interested in you.
- 10:27Speaker 2: And that's really how it all happened. Wow. I got
- 10:30Speaker 2: went into the agency. They took a photo. They sent
- 10:33Speaker 2: my photos to Bruce Weber. And the next thing you know,
- 10:36Speaker 2: I was. on my way to a studio to shoot
- 10:39Speaker 2: with Bruce Weber and the rest is history. Right, right, right. Okay.
- 10:43Speaker 1: So, but when you started the show, you weren't somebody
- 10:46Speaker 1: that people would recognize, right? I mean, you were kind
- 10:48Speaker 1: of just as much of a known name as everyone else.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 10:52Speaker 1: So this show really blew you up. I mean, you
- 10:55Speaker 1: became one. I mean, what would you categorize it as?
- 10:59Speaker 1: Would you say you became a huge star then? I mean, what,
- 11:02Speaker 1: what was it like for you?
- 11:04Speaker 2: Well, the real world, you know, first time something like
- 11:07Speaker 2: that was ever had been done. So a lot of
- 11:10Speaker 2: people were talking about it.
- 11:11Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 11:11Speaker 2: You know, we weren't short of getting press. It was
- 11:15Speaker 2: obviously very easy for us to get the press.
- 11:18Speaker 3: Right.
- 11:19Speaker 2: But what it was, it was after the real world,
- 11:22Speaker 2: a few months later when I became the host of
- 11:24Speaker 2: the grind, the dance show on MTV, which would send
- 11:30Speaker 2: me into the stratosphere of fame overnight. And yeah, That, yeah,
- 11:37Speaker 2: the grind was viewed in over 90 million homes around
- 11:42Speaker 2: the world at a time where there was no internet.
- 11:46Speaker 1: Okay. So wait, time out.
- 11:47Speaker 2: That was pretty big.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Were you a dancer? Because I saw those workout videos
- 11:51Speaker 1: you did. And I would think that's what catapulted you
- 11:55Speaker 1: to the next level.
- 11:59Speaker 2: Well, yeah, it's a funny story. I mean, not a
- 12:01Speaker 2: technical dancer. I love deep house music. I've been a
- 12:04Speaker 2: deep house head my whole life. I learned how to
- 12:08Speaker 2: dance watching Club MTV. I love downtown Julie Brown and
- 12:13Speaker 2: would have loved to been on that show. But I
- 12:18Speaker 2: became the host of The Grind. And... What's interesting about
- 12:23Speaker 2: that is I actually got the part of host of
- 12:29Speaker 2: Club MTV before the real world happened. That was another
- 12:32Speaker 2: casting that happened with MTV. So MTV had their eye
- 12:36Speaker 2: on me.
- 12:36Speaker 3: Right.
- 12:37Speaker 2: And downtown Julie Brown.
- 12:40Speaker 3: The car is beautiful. Where did you end up going
- 12:43Speaker 3: for it?
- 12:43Speaker 4: This exclusive place that Dad has connections with. They have
- 12:46Speaker 4: more cars for more dealerships than like anywhere else.
- 12:49Speaker 3: You have to put me in touch. What's it called?
- 12:51Speaker 5: It's Dunaidial.
- 12:53Speaker 2: Where?
- 12:55Speaker 3: Dunaidial.
- 12:56Speaker 5: There's an accent on the E.
- 12:59Speaker 3: Do you mean.
- 12:59Speaker 5: Yes, I got it on Dundale Cars.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Lift?
- 13:02Speaker 3: Please. You going past Kimmage?
- 13:04Speaker 2: Oh, Kimmage. No.
- 13:06Speaker 5: Dundale Cars.
- 13:07Speaker 6: You couldn't possibly go anywhere else.
- 13:09Speaker 2: Someone was on her way out after five years and
- 13:12Speaker 2: they wanted to bring in a male and a female
- 13:15Speaker 2: host for Club MTV. I got the part. We were
- 13:19Speaker 2: looking for a female as a co-host. Then they canceled
- 13:27Speaker 2: Club MTV. And then the casting for Real World came in,
- 13:32Speaker 2: got the Real World. And then three months after the
- 13:34Speaker 2: Real World came out, the dance show came back in.
- 13:38Speaker 2: And then I became the host of The Grind. Right, right, right.
- 13:41Speaker 1: So I know you said that doing the Real World
- 13:44Speaker 1: really saved your life. Can you talk a little bit
- 13:46Speaker 1: about that?
- 13:49Speaker 2: Yeah, the real world, it was the first time that
- 13:51Speaker 2: I ever got a chance to really look at myself
- 13:55Speaker 2: and to observe the way that I behaved, observe the
- 13:59Speaker 2: way that I reacted in conversation around different issues and topics.
- 14:06Speaker 2: I got to see myself in very insecure, fearful positions,
- 14:12Speaker 2: places of judgment and criticism. And that was a real
- 14:18Speaker 2: eye-opener for me. Watching yourself on TV for the first
- 14:22Speaker 2: time and somebody else is editing the footage is a
- 14:25Speaker 2: real eye-opener. So that was pretty much the beginning of
- 14:33Speaker 2: my spiritual journey, understanding much later that spirituality is basically
- 14:40Speaker 2: just looking at yourself, taking a really deep, hard look
- 14:46Speaker 2: at yourself. So that was the beginning of my spiritual
- 14:50Speaker 2: journey for sure. Okay.
- 14:52Speaker 1: And I want to get into that, but before we
- 14:54Speaker 1: go that way, so you're talking about the way that
- 14:56Speaker 1: they edit you and there's all this conversation now about
- 15:00Speaker 1: the reality reckoning. I don't know if you've been following that.
- 15:03Speaker 1: And so I'm curious back then, how did you feel
- 15:07Speaker 1: that they represented you different or the same of how
- 15:11Speaker 1: you were? I mean, what was that like being on
- 15:14Speaker 1: the show and then seeing it later and seeing how
- 15:16Speaker 1: it played out?
- 15:17Speaker 2: Yeah. 100% accurate. They didn't manipulate, um, my footage, my
- 15:24Speaker 2: story at all. I don't think they manipulated any of
- 15:27Speaker 2: us on the first show. I think that our show
- 15:30Speaker 2: was probably the first and the last truly 100% authentic
- 15:35Speaker 2: reality TV show that was ever produced. Um, The only
- 15:42Speaker 2: thing that they were doing on a show, which we've
- 15:44Speaker 2: openly talked about a thousand times, was they were manipulating
- 15:50Speaker 2: the things that we were being invited to do by
- 15:54Speaker 2: the production. Because they were trying to get a response.
- 15:58Speaker 2: They were trying to get an action. They were trying
- 16:00Speaker 2: to get a trigger. Trying to, you know, make the...
- 16:06Speaker 2: the performance a little bit more juicy because we all
- 16:09Speaker 2: had the, the option to go home, to go back
- 16:13Speaker 2: to our apartments. And after about three or four weeks,
- 16:16Speaker 2: we really weren't so interested in each other anymore. And
- 16:20Speaker 2: we started to go home and then they kind of
- 16:22Speaker 2: forced us to come back and stay in the loft.
- 16:25Speaker 2: And then that's when things really started to get interesting.
- 16:29Speaker 2: And we started to actually like each other. Oh, wow.
- 16:33Speaker 2: And find some, you know, some common ground, but also
- 16:37Speaker 2: the truth of our differences would come alive. Right.

- 19:50Speaker 1: I mean, so do you think that they were like
- 19:52Speaker 1: provoking arguments though or provoking behaviors? Like, you know, a
- 19:56Speaker 1: lot of the comments are now of how reality TV
- 20:00Speaker 1: people are being provoked into Saying things, doing things, drinking,
- 20:04Speaker 1: acting ridiculous.
- 20:05Speaker 2: Yeah, no, no, they didn't do any of that. They
- 20:08Speaker 2: just created situations. Instead of you and I just having
- 20:11Speaker 2: a regular conversation and saying, hey, let's go for a
- 20:14Speaker 2: walk in the park today. Um, the production created a scenario, right?
- 20:20Speaker 2: Like for me, they created a photo shoot, right? So they,
- 20:25Speaker 2: they got a production company, they got a model, they
- 20:27Speaker 2: set it up. I thought that I was going to
- 20:30Speaker 2: a regular job that I booked through my agency, but
- 20:34Speaker 2: it wasn't.
- 20:35Speaker 1: I see.
- 20:35Speaker 2: Um, so things like that.
- 20:37Speaker 1: Right, right. So do you, do you feel like it
- 20:41Speaker 1: was the one and only sort of true, like what
- 20:43Speaker 1: you said, true, um, reality show because people were coming in,
- 20:49Speaker 1: they didn't know what to expect. And after that, it's
- 20:51Speaker 1: kind of like everyone knew what to expect. And then
- 20:54Speaker 1: they almost came in with an idea of a character
- 20:56Speaker 1: or a lot of people. Now you see, they want
- 20:58Speaker 1: to get on reality shows because they want to become famous, right?
- 21:01Speaker 1: They have a goal for later. And I feel like
- 21:03Speaker 1: for your group, nobody knew how this would go, right?
- 21:08Speaker 1: They didn't know what to expect. They didn't know how
- 21:10Speaker 1: it'd be received. So I think a lot of people,
- 21:12Speaker 1: and I'm just, you know, talking off the cuff, but
- 21:14Speaker 1: I assume that they were like, you know, this could
- 21:17Speaker 1: be fun. This could be interesting. I want to see
- 21:19Speaker 1: where it goes, but they weren't thinking, oh, I'm going
- 21:22Speaker 1: to get a book deal out of this. And I'm
- 21:23Speaker 1: going to, you know, the motivation seemed to be different
- 21:26Speaker 1: back then than it is now. I don't know of
- 21:29Speaker 1: anyone going on a reality show now that doesn't have
- 21:31Speaker 1: a motivation beyond fame and money.
- 21:35Speaker 2: Oh, absolutely. I mean, it's constantly changing. It's 30 years now.
- 21:41Speaker 2: When you're in the world of production and direction and creation, writing,
- 21:49Speaker 2: and all these things, budget, money, sponsors, everything plays a
- 21:56Speaker 2: role in the creation of something like this. There's so
- 22:02Speaker 2: many things to look at. Right. And so. Yeah, it's interesting,
- 22:10Speaker 2: you know, years later, you know, like when I did it,
- 22:13Speaker 2: there weren't those opportunities for endorsement deals. They just they
- 22:18Speaker 2: didn't they didn't exist. Yeah. And then that would come in,
- 22:22Speaker 2: you know, kind of years later where then the advertisers
- 22:26Speaker 2: would come on and say, oh, I'm not going to
- 22:28Speaker 2: just buy advertising deals. you know, space on the show,
- 22:32Speaker 2: I'm going to spend my money on a character because
- 22:35Speaker 2: that individual's character is now becoming popular with a lot
- 22:40Speaker 2: of people. It's, I mean, it's completely transformed. Yeah. So
- 22:44Speaker 2: many different things in media over the last 30 years,
- 22:47Speaker 2: the way that it was when we were involved in
- 22:49Speaker 2: the beginning. Right.
- 22:50Speaker 1: And obviously social media wasn't around back then like it
- 22:54Speaker 1: is now. I mean, and listen, my name has been
- 22:56Speaker 1: thrown around a couple of times to be on the
- 22:58Speaker 1: Housewives of New York. And when that was on page
- 23:00Speaker 1: six and got picked up everywhere, I cannot tell you
- 23:03Speaker 1: how many people DM to me. sent me free stuff
- 23:06Speaker 1: like my, you know, it was crazy. And that was
- 23:09Speaker 1: just a rumor. So, you know, I can't imagine what
- 23:12Speaker 1: happens when people really get on these shows and the
- 23:14Speaker 1: stuff that they are offered or sent, um, because they
- 23:17Speaker 1: want people to do barter deals about, you know, their products. Um, so,
- 23:21Speaker 1: you know, you didn't have all that back then. It
- 23:23Speaker 1: was like, people had to wait to see the episodes
- 23:26Speaker 1: to see who you were and then later on give
- 23:28Speaker 1: you the deal. So I totally get what you're saying there. Um,
- 23:32Speaker 1: so what, um, so now tell me more about your
- 23:35Speaker 1: spiritual journey. So you see yourself on camera and are
- 23:38Speaker 1: you saying you didn't like what you see? Like what
- 23:40Speaker 1: was it that made you go the other direction?
- 23:43Speaker 2: Oh, well, this is loaded. So this gets into where
- 23:47Speaker 2: we're headed with ayahuasca, but this has to do with
- 23:52Speaker 2: my entire life, my existence, not just this life, but
- 23:57Speaker 2: my past lives. And when I was on the grind
- 24:02Speaker 2: a couple, of years into the grind, I was I
- 24:11Speaker 2: was preyed upon by a predator. And this individual informed
- 24:17Speaker 2: me of things that were happening on the planet that
- 24:19Speaker 2: were very dark and also brainwashed me into believing that
- 24:26Speaker 2: I needed to have sex with him. And so that
- 24:32Speaker 2: was an incredibly devastating experience for me at that time.
- 24:37Speaker 2: Almost took my life. And that would be one of
- 24:44Speaker 2: the stepping stones to go deeper into my life path,
- 24:51Speaker 2: my mission, my spirituality.
- 24:53Speaker 3: The car is beautiful. Where did you end up going
- 24:56Speaker 3: for it?
- 24:56Speaker 4: This exclusive place that Dad has connections with? They have
- 24:59Speaker 4: more cars for more dealerships than, like, anywhere else.
- 25:02Speaker 3: You have to put me in touch. What's it called?
- 25:04Speaker 5: It's Dune-A-D-L.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Where?
- 25:08Speaker 3: Dune-A-D-L.
- 25:09Speaker 5: There's an accent on the E.
- 25:12Speaker 3: Do you mean.
- 25:12Speaker 5: Yes, I got it on Dundale Cars.
- 25:14Speaker 2: Lift?
- 25:15Speaker 5: Please.
- 25:15Speaker 3: Are you going past Kimmage?
- 25:17Speaker 2: Oh, Kimmage. No.
- 25:19Speaker 4: Dundale Cars. You couldn't possibly go anywhere else.
- 25:23Speaker 2: And many, many, many years later, finding ayahuasca. But it
- 25:28Speaker 2: all stems from childhood trauma. It all stems from ancestral
- 25:33Speaker 2: lineage trauma. That's what I do now. I'm an ancestral
- 25:37Speaker 2: lineage healer for myself. I'm not saying that I'm a
- 25:43Speaker 2: healer for other people or anything like that. This is
- 25:46Speaker 2: all about my journey and what I've personally experienced in
- 25:50Speaker 2: my life. And then I share my story and I
- 25:53Speaker 2: share my experiences and what I've learned over the years. of,
- 25:57Speaker 2: of how to heal myself. And I share that with
- 25:59Speaker 2: other people. So, um, yeah, so this manager came into
- 26:04Speaker 2: my life and basically destroyed my career, stole over $ 350, 000
- 26:09Speaker 2: for me, which in 1993, um, for being a host
- 26:17Speaker 2: and a reality star is a lot of money and, and, uh,
- 26:20Speaker 2: had deals with universal studios and, All the biggest producers
- 26:24Speaker 2: and directors and potential movies and all of that came
- 26:28Speaker 2: to a screeching halt. And then not too long after
- 26:35Speaker 2: that is where I would meet my first teacher, who
- 26:37Speaker 2: was an eighth generation grandmaster from the Far East. And
- 26:41Speaker 2: I would live with him and his family off and
- 26:43Speaker 2: on for the next six or seven years.
- 26:47Speaker 1: I'm so sorry you had to go through that. Obviously, yeah.
- 26:51Speaker 1: you know, everyone has their path to get where they are. Right.
- 26:54Speaker 1: So it's, I, you know, I'm so sorry. Um, but
- 26:57Speaker 1: I'm so glad you found your way out of it
- 26:59Speaker 1: and still are, and, um, obviously are helping other people.
- 27:02Speaker 2: So, um, but what, thank you for that. I appreciate that.
- 27:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:06Speaker 1: So what was the, how did you get yourself though
- 27:09Speaker 1: from you? You said you almost took your life. I mean,
- 27:11Speaker 1: how did you get from feeling that way to seeing
- 27:14Speaker 1: a light and knowing that there was another option and
- 27:17Speaker 1: knowing how to find the next step?
- 27:20Speaker 2: Yeah, good question. It was a warm summer night in
- 27:29Speaker 2: New Jersey, New York City, where I was standing on
- 27:32Speaker 2: the side of the Hudson River looking at the Viacom building,
- 27:37Speaker 2: which is the company that owns MTV. And I had
- 27:40Speaker 2: my grandfather's knife on my wrist, ready to take my life.
- 27:45Speaker 2: And right before that moment, I carved into the tree
- 27:50Speaker 2: set me free in a heart. And in this place
- 27:57Speaker 2: of total fear and confusion, I was feeling this, I
- 28:05Speaker 2: had this overwhelming feeling that I didn't have a way out.
- 28:11Speaker 2: There was no way out of this, you know? And
- 28:15Speaker 2: in that moment, this cloud came came floating down the
- 28:19Speaker 2: river and it was lit up by all the lights
- 28:22Speaker 2: of New York city. And I, it got my attention.
- 28:27Speaker 2: And when I looked at it, I heard this little
- 28:30Speaker 2: still small voice in my head said, just go home, just,
- 28:36Speaker 2: just go home. And it was like, I went into
- 28:40Speaker 2: a trance in that moment. And I went back to
- 28:43Speaker 2: my apartment where the manager was and my friends and
- 28:46Speaker 2: And I just started packing up all my stuff. And
- 28:51Speaker 2: I went home, which was about an hour away in
- 28:55Speaker 2: central Jersey. And when I got home, I cried for
- 29:03Speaker 2: about two weeks. My family, nobody could touch me. Nobody
- 29:07Speaker 2: could come near me. And that was the very first
- 29:11Speaker 2: time that I found Reiki. My mom... knew this woman
- 29:16Speaker 2: who did this, and I never even really heard about it.
- 29:21Speaker 2: And so I went to go see her. And between
- 29:25Speaker 2: the cloud in the sky and the little small voice
- 29:28Speaker 2: in my head and the breaky session with this woman,
- 29:32Speaker 2: she said that Mother Mary was in the room. She
- 29:34Speaker 2: gave me her personal crystal. I held it to my heart.
- 29:37Speaker 2: And she said, Mother Mary's always with you. and um
- 29:43Speaker 2: i decided to go to uh the mountains in colorado
- 29:48Speaker 2: and i went by myself and i went snowboard for
- 29:51Speaker 2: a month like i had to i had to escape
- 29:53Speaker 2: i had to get out and get away and and
- 29:56Speaker 2: do something um And when I was out there, my
- 30:02Speaker 2: sister calls me, and she says, you got a check
- 30:08Speaker 2: from MTV for the sales of your workout videos. Do
- 30:11Speaker 2: you want me to open it? And I said, sure.
- 30:14Speaker 2: And she opened it up, and the check was for $ 110, 000.
- 30:16Speaker 2: And MTV made a mistake. and they added an extra
- 30:24Speaker 2: zero to my $ 10, 000 check. And because they mailed it
- 30:30Speaker 2: and it went through the mail and to my house,
- 30:33Speaker 2: they couldn't take it back. So they made a hundred
- 30:35Speaker 2: thousand dollar mistake. Um, and the $ 350, 000 that was stolen
- 30:41Speaker 2: from me and everything, like it kind of, you know,
- 30:43Speaker 2: it gave me a cushion and, um, And I decided
- 30:48Speaker 2: in that moment that if I was going to go
- 30:49Speaker 2: back into the business, I could only do it with
- 30:52Speaker 2: my friends and my family, people that I knew and
- 30:55Speaker 2: people that I trusted. And then I met my grandmaster
- 30:59Speaker 2: not long after that. And then it's just been this incredible,
- 31:05Speaker 2: magical journey of angels and demons and dragons and shamans
- 31:11Speaker 2: and grandmothers and grandfathers and plant medicines and trips to
- 31:17Speaker 2: Tibet and to the jungles of the Amazon. And it's
- 31:20Speaker 2: just been this magical hero's journey just to places that
- 31:26Speaker 2: I never in my wildest dreams could have imagined. Wow.
- 31:31Speaker 1: So, all right. So now let's get into that then.
- 31:34Speaker 1: So a lot of people have a, you know, a
- 31:36Speaker 1: thought that ayahuasca is basically like doing drugs, right? They
- 31:41Speaker 1: lump it in with abuse of ketamine abuse or, you know,
- 31:46Speaker 1: mushrooms or all these different things, which now, you know,
- 31:49Speaker 1: people are using these to treat post-traumatic stress disorder and,
- 31:53Speaker 1: you know, dealing with mental health things. And so how
- 31:57Speaker 1: did you get into doing ayahuasca? Did you start with
- 32:00Speaker 1: something else or did you just jump right into that?
- 32:04Speaker 2: Yeah, well, 17 years ago, somebody gave me a book
- 32:10Speaker 2: called The Medicine Way. told me about this book called
- 32:14Speaker 2: The Medicine Way. And the book facilitates you through the
- 32:18Speaker 2: Native American medicine wheel written by an anthropologist named Kenneth Meadows.
- 32:25Speaker 2: And I went into the desert to do a very
- 32:27Speaker 2: long water fast, 40 days, because I was thinking about
- 32:31Speaker 2: Buddha and Jesus. And I thought that You know, that
- 32:34Speaker 2: story of them just drinking water in the desert for
- 32:37Speaker 2: 40 days, it must have had a pretty big impact
- 32:41Speaker 2: on them because their names have lasted throughout the ages
- 32:45Speaker 2: for thousands of years. And they have millions and millions
- 32:48Speaker 2: and millions of people that follow them, you know. And
- 32:52Speaker 2: so I went into the desert. I started drinking water.
- 32:56Speaker 2: And 16 days later, my body started breaking down completely.
- 33:02Speaker 2: and was screaming for nutrients.
- 33:05Speaker 1: And so I, I just need to get a mental
- 33:09Speaker 1: picture of this. Were you by yourself in the desert
- 33:12Speaker 1: with water?
- 33:13Speaker 2: I was with one other person that was, that was
- 33:16Speaker 2: watching over me as I was going through this process.
- 33:19Speaker 1: And it was, was it like a typical fast where
- 33:21Speaker 1: you try and sit still and be quiet or what,
- 33:24Speaker 1: I mean, what were you doing all day?
- 33:26Speaker 2: I know, you know, at that time I didn't understand
- 33:29Speaker 2: fasting at all, especially water fasting. So because of the
- 33:34Speaker 2: athlete that I am and the competitor that I am
- 33:36Speaker 2: and I'm go, go, go a hundred miles an hour,
- 33:39Speaker 2: you know, I'm, I'm the guy who at the end
- 33:42Speaker 2: of the night, when everybody's partying and they're like going
- 33:45Speaker 2: to sleep, I'm looking for the next party. That's the
- 33:48Speaker 2: fire that burns inside of me. So, you know, every
- 33:51Speaker 2: day I'm, I'm walking an extra lap on, you know,
- 33:54Speaker 2: where I was and I'm doing salt flushes and, you know,
- 33:58Speaker 2: all these different things. And, um, it's amazing. I lasted
- 34:01Speaker 2: 16 days. I was waking up in the middle of
- 34:03Speaker 2: the night to go to the bathroom and passing out,
- 34:06Speaker 2: fainting and hitting my head against the wall, like knocking
- 34:09Speaker 2: myself out. Um, but then I would learn obviously later
- 34:14Speaker 2: on the proper ways to, to fast, you know, everything
- 34:17Speaker 2: in my life has been, you know, trial by error. Yeah. So, um, yeah,
- 34:23Speaker 2: so 16 days, uh, a friend of mine who owned
- 34:26Speaker 2: a superfood company, uh, that I've been with for 17 years,
- 34:30Speaker 2: he came up to the property with a big box
- 34:33Speaker 2: of superfoods. And we put together this anabolic fast formula
- 34:37Speaker 2: of the most nutrient dense foods on the planet. So
- 34:40Speaker 2: I finished the 40 days with just about 500 calories
- 34:45Speaker 2: in superfood shakes. And then when I finished the 43 days,
- 34:51Speaker 2: the 40 days, that's when I went into the Native
- 34:54Speaker 2: American medicine wheel. It's like a vision quest. And it
- 34:59Speaker 2: was in the vision quest where I realized that this
- 35:03Speaker 2: is what I was going to be doing for the
- 35:04Speaker 2: rest of my life. I was going to be bringing
- 35:07Speaker 2: people into the desert and taking them through what I
- 35:11Speaker 2: experienced to help them rehabilitate themselves from drugs and trauma
- 35:17Speaker 2: and in their lives. And that's what I've been doing
- 35:20Speaker 2: for the last 17 years.
- 35:23Speaker 1: So it had that effect on you 40 days in 43,
- 35:25Speaker 1: whatever it was, you had an awakening, so to speak.
- 35:30Speaker 2: It was one of my aha, light bulb, awakening moments.
- 35:36Speaker 2: And when I came out of that, I went on
- 35:40Speaker 2: this search for many years to understand, number one, how
- 35:46Speaker 2: to rehabilitate the body, from addiction. But ultimately what that
- 35:52Speaker 2: would turn into is understanding how to liberate your soul
- 35:57Speaker 2: and your physical body from suffering.
- 36:00Speaker 4: Right.
- 36:01Speaker 2: And that's when I would meet Mona Palaka, who is
- 36:05Speaker 2: one of the 13 indigenous grandmothers. She's a part of
- 36:09Speaker 2: a council of 13 indigenous grandmothers that come from all
- 36:13Speaker 2: four directions on the planet. to bring awareness, healing, knowledge
- 36:19Speaker 2: to the world, especially about water and many, many other things.
- 36:26Speaker 2: And people started inviting me to go to ayahuasca ceremonies.
- 36:31Speaker 2: And that went on for about four years. And then finally,
- 36:35Speaker 2: I got the call from Grandma Ayahuasca. It was time
- 36:38Speaker 2: to meet her. I called up Grandma Mona. I told
- 36:42Speaker 2: her what was happening. She introduced me with this woman
- 36:45Speaker 2: who connected me with two of the other indigenous grandmothers
- 36:48Speaker 2: that lived in the jungle of Brazil and found my
- 36:53Speaker 2: way into the jungles of Brazil to do ayahuasca for
- 36:57Speaker 2: the very first time. Wow. Okay.
- 36:59Speaker 1: So what was that like?
- 37:04Speaker 2: Well, it's long... The.
- 37:05Speaker 3: Car is beautiful. Where did you end up going for it?
- 37:08Speaker 4: This exclusive place that Dad has connections with. They have
- 37:11Speaker 4: more cars for more dealerships than, like, anywhere else.
- 37:14Speaker 3: You have to put me in touch. What's it called?
- 37:16Speaker 5: It's Dunaidial.
- 37:18Speaker 2: Where?
- 37:20Speaker 4: Dunaidial.
- 37:21Speaker 5: There's an accent on the E.
- 37:24Speaker 3: Do you mean.
- 37:25Speaker 5: Yes, I got it on Dundiel Cars.
- 37:26Speaker 7: Lift?
- 37:27Speaker 2: Please.
- 37:27Speaker 3: Are you going past Kimmage?
- 37:29Speaker 1: Oh, Kimmage.
- 37:30Speaker 2: No.
- 37:32Speaker 5: Done deal cars.
- 37:32Speaker 6: You couldn't possibly go anywhere else.
- 37:35Speaker 2: Story short, but the woman who I was going with,
- 37:37Speaker 2: we were flying there together on Martin Luther King's birthday.
- 37:41Speaker 2: We were the last people to get on the plane
- 37:43Speaker 2: on the 7 a.m. flight. Her visa was expired. We
- 37:47Speaker 2: went back into New York City on Martin Luther King's birthday.
- 37:51Speaker 2: She could not obviously get her visa in time. That
- 37:54Speaker 2: little voice came back in and said, you got to go.
- 37:59Speaker 2: So I said to her, look, I need you to
- 38:01Speaker 2: write down what I need to do to get there.
- 38:08Speaker 2: And she said, oh, no. Oh, no, no. You don't
- 38:12Speaker 2: speak the language. It takes two days to get there.
- 38:15Speaker 2: Three planes, two taxis, a canoe, six hours down a river.
- 38:21Speaker 2: No way. And I said to her, I go, I
- 38:25Speaker 2: know we just met. You don't know me very well.
- 38:29Speaker 2: but I'll be fine. I take full responsibility for my life.
- 38:33Speaker 2: I have to go. Wow. So I went, I got
- 38:36Speaker 2: on the seven o'clock flight that night and I made
- 38:39Speaker 2: it into the middle of the jungle two days later.
- 38:42Speaker 2: And I showed up at the grandmother's house who didn't
- 38:45Speaker 2: know that I was coming there. I'd only met her
- 38:47Speaker 2: once a couple, a few years before that in a
- 38:51Speaker 2: circle of 350 people And I got to her front door.
- 38:56Speaker 2: I told her the story about what happened and how
- 38:58Speaker 2: I got there. And I looked at her and I said,
- 39:01Speaker 2: do you remember my face? You met me with grandma Mona.
- 39:06Speaker 2: And she looked at me and she went, Oh, I
- 39:09Speaker 2: remember you. I remember you. You're in luck. You can
- 39:12Speaker 2: stay here with me. And so I stayed in her
- 39:15Speaker 2: house for two months. And then she said to me,
- 39:18Speaker 2: you came on a very auspicious day today. is the
- 39:23Speaker 2: celebration of Padrino Sebastian the founder of the Santo Daime
- 39:30Speaker 2: church and tonight we drink for him so get ready
- 39:35Speaker 2: the ceremony starts in two hours so I go into
- 39:41Speaker 2: this temple that was the shape of the star of
- 39:45Speaker 2: David with 650 people They had a service window, like
- 39:53Speaker 2: you were going up to McDonald's to get a Big
- 39:55Speaker 2: Mac to drive through. And she connected me with this guy,
- 39:59Speaker 2: and she said, just follow him. He'll take care of you.
- 40:03Speaker 2: He knows what to do. Twelve-hour ceremony, traveling for two days.
- 40:11Speaker 2: I drank 16 cups of ayahuasca, and nothing happened. What?
- 40:17Speaker 3: Wow.
- 40:17Speaker 2: Wow. nothing. Just, I had a little bit of an
- 40:21Speaker 2: upset stomach and I went back to my room that
- 40:25Speaker 2: night and I said, wow, I came all the way
- 40:27Speaker 2: here to drink this magical tea. That's going to change
- 40:31Speaker 2: my life and show me everything that I need to see.
- 40:37Speaker 2: And nothing happened.
- 40:40Speaker 1: So why do you think that happens to some people?
- 40:42Speaker 1: Cause I have heard that from people. Do you think
- 40:45Speaker 1: that's like a psychosomatic thing? Do you think it's just
- 40:48Speaker 1: your body wasn't reacting to that potion or what happened there?
- 40:53Speaker 2: She's in control. You're not, it's not about drinking a tea.
- 41:00Speaker 2: It's about connecting with the spirit of ayahuasca, the conscious,
- 41:09Speaker 2: limitless potential being that is a feminine spirit. That's why
- 41:15Speaker 2: we call her grandma and she's in control. That's why
- 41:21Speaker 2: we go to her because she loves us. She wants
- 41:26Speaker 2: us to heal. She wants us to evolve because she
- 41:30Speaker 2: wants us to be good stewards of the planet. She
- 41:36Speaker 2: wants us to be happy, to be a good father,
- 41:41Speaker 2: a good mother. a good brother, a good sister, you know,
- 41:46Speaker 2: and she's just interested in harmony. She's interested in harmonizing air, fire, water,
- 41:57Speaker 2: and earth. And that's what we are. She is the
- 42:03Speaker 2: combination of a root, of a vine, and a plant.
- 42:07Speaker 2: And when you boil these two together for a certain
- 42:12Speaker 2: amount of time, It creates dimethyltryptamine, DMT, which people refer
- 42:18Speaker 2: to as the god particle, the god molecule. And that
- 42:22Speaker 2: DMT exists in everything on this planet and in all
- 42:27Speaker 2: of us. And when you're born and you go through
- 42:30Speaker 2: the birth canal of your mother, your brain is covered
- 42:35Speaker 2: in DMT. And the same thing happens... When your spirit,
- 42:40Speaker 2: your soul leaves this body when you die. That's why
- 42:44Speaker 2: when people say, oh, I had a near-death experience and
- 42:48Speaker 2: I went to the light, there was a tunnel of light.
- 42:51Speaker 2: That's the DMT covering the brain. The DMT is a
- 42:58Speaker 2: bridge to the spirit world or the morphogenetic field of light.
- 43:08Speaker 2: of the grid, the sacred geometrical grid of light that
- 43:17Speaker 2: we don't see with these eyes. And when you take
- 43:22Speaker 2: some type of a substance, a plant medicine, a healing medicine,
- 43:27Speaker 2: not a drug, a medicine, which means power, it gives
- 43:33Speaker 2: us access to the parts of us that we, are
- 43:38Speaker 2: unconscious to. Wow.
- 43:41Speaker 4: Okay.
- 43:42Speaker 1: So for people that really want to follow along, but
- 43:45Speaker 1: are not as far along as you and really understanding this,
- 43:48Speaker 1: I want to dumb it down a little bit. So
- 43:50Speaker 1: tell me what it was like the first time it
- 43:53Speaker 1: affected you. What did you see? How did you feel?
- 43:56Speaker 1: What can people expect? Why should they do it? Like,
- 43:59Speaker 1: that's why I want to get into it.
- 44:01Speaker 2: Sure. So the second time that I did it, I
- 44:04Speaker 2: drank the medicine. Mm-hmm. And again, for like four or
- 44:07Speaker 2: five hours, I wasn't really feeling anything. And then it
- 44:12Speaker 2: came on and everything around me turned into like sacred geometry.
- 44:21Speaker 2: It was all shapes and, and colors, um, like geometry,
- 44:29Speaker 2: you know, like the flower of life, um, And all
- 44:33Speaker 2: these different three-dimensional looking geodesic shapes, right? The trees, all
- 44:44Speaker 2: the light around me, the bench next to me, the chair,
- 44:47Speaker 2: the table, everything, right? And I could feel it. I
- 44:51Speaker 2: could feel this energy in my body. And at the
- 44:56Speaker 2: same time, I... connected with my inner child, I became
- 45:02Speaker 2: my six year old self. And I was in communication
- 45:07Speaker 2: with my six year old self. But I was playing
- 45:13Speaker 2: with the energy as if I was six years old,
- 45:16Speaker 2: like right when we were six years old. And we
- 45:19Speaker 2: were in our room, in our world of imagination and wonder,
- 45:24Speaker 2: and there was no fear. There was no judgment. We
- 45:26Speaker 2: didn't even have a concept of what that was. We
- 45:29Speaker 2: were just in the moment, playing, having fun. And that's
- 45:33Speaker 2: where she took me. That was my very first experience,
- 45:39Speaker 2: was with connecting with my six-year-old self. And that is
- 45:45Speaker 2: very important. for where I am today, because of what
- 45:50Speaker 2: I would go through over the years to help me
- 45:54Speaker 2: to understand how the trauma and the experiences that I
- 46:00Speaker 2: went through in my life would imprint me and impact
- 46:05Speaker 2: me when I would get older. And that's what this
- 46:09Speaker 2: whole journey has been For me, with ayahuasca is going back,
- 46:15Speaker 2: reconnecting with my six-year-old self and helping me to release
- 46:21Speaker 2: all the energies that I've been carrying around in my
- 46:25Speaker 2: body from those traumatic emotional experiences that I've had in
- 46:32Speaker 2: my life. And it would bring me to a place
- 46:35Speaker 2: of liberation in my physical body of pain. discomfort, and
- 46:43Speaker 2: all those types of things.
- 46:45Speaker 1: I think that's so amazing because there are obviously so
- 46:47Speaker 1: many people that are going through grief, shame, whatever these
- 46:52Speaker 1: kind of universal feelings are, right? And as you said,
- 46:55Speaker 1: are imprinted on you from your experiences through life. And
- 47:00Speaker 1: people don't even realize it sometimes. And then there are
- 47:02Speaker 1: people that do realize it and they go to, let's say,
- 47:04Speaker 1: talk therapy. And a lot of people you'll see are
- 47:06Speaker 1: prescribed drugs to help them feel better or they're deep
- 47:11Speaker 1: in some sort of addiction to help them feel better.
- 47:14Speaker 1: But what none of that is addressing is why they
- 47:16Speaker 1: feel that way. And I think so many people are
- 47:19Speaker 1: stuck and don't know why, even though they spend all
- 47:21Speaker 1: this time talking about it and thinking about it and
- 47:23Speaker 1: trying to purge it just from their immediate thoughts. It
- 47:27Speaker 1: seems to me that ayahuasca or some of these other
- 47:30Speaker 1: medicines are able to unlock something in you that you
- 47:34Speaker 1: have been shutting a door on or putting a wall
- 47:37Speaker 1: up so you can't even see it. You can't even
- 47:39Speaker 1: release that in yourself. You need some help. I mean,
- 47:42Speaker 1: am I getting it right?
- 47:43Speaker 2: The awareness that you have about what you just said
- 47:48Speaker 2: is so important and so profound on so many levels.
- 47:54Speaker 2: And the impact of that awareness globally is, is what
- 48:02Speaker 2: the world needs. And this is exactly what's happening. People
- 48:08Speaker 2: are walking through their lives and they have no idea
- 48:13Speaker 2: why they feel the way they feel. They have no
- 48:16Speaker 2: idea why they react the way that they react when
- 48:19Speaker 2: somebody else says something that they don't like. And it's
- 48:24Speaker 2: not that they don't like it. It's that the frequency
- 48:28Speaker 2: and the vibration that's being projected at them by that
- 48:32Speaker 2: other person is triggering the energy and the frequency in
- 48:37Speaker 2: their body. That is what's causing them to feel uncomfortable
- 48:43Speaker 2: because they're holding on to that energy in their body
- 48:47Speaker 2: from a trauma that they experienced at some time in
- 48:53Speaker 2: their life.
- 48:53Speaker 1: Right.
- 48:55Speaker 2: This is exactly what's happening with 8 billion people on
- 48:59Speaker 2: the planet. This physical body that we're in, and I'll
- 49:02Speaker 2: break it down for your listeners, and you want me
- 49:04Speaker 2: to explain it like you're in fifth grade. It doesn't
- 49:08Speaker 2: get any more simpler than this. If you really, truly
- 49:12Speaker 2: want to understand yourself and understand why you feel the
- 49:16Speaker 2: way that.
- 49:17Speaker 3: The car is beautiful where did you end up going
- 49:20Speaker 3: for it.
- 49:21Speaker 4: This exclusive place that dad has connections with they've more
- 49:24Speaker 4: cars for more dealerships than like anywhere else.
- 49:26Speaker 3: You have to put me in touch what's it called it's.
- 49:28Speaker 4: Dune ideal where dune ideal there's an accent on the
- 49:34Speaker 4: e do you mean yes i got an undone deal
- 49:38Speaker 4: cars lift Please.
- 49:40Speaker 3: You're going past Kimmage.
- 49:41Speaker 6: Oh, Kimmage.
- 49:42Speaker 1: No.
- 49:44Speaker 6: Done deal cars. You couldn't possibly go anywhere else.
- 49:47Speaker 2: To feel, consider observing nature. Why? You and me and
- 49:57Speaker 2: everybody who's listening, there's one thing that will never change.
- 50:04Speaker 2: This is the laws of nature on this planet, on
- 50:08Speaker 2: planet Earth. And the laws of nature are that air, fire, water,
- 50:15Speaker 2: and earth, the four elements, there are laws that we
- 50:20Speaker 2: are governed by when it comes to the interaction of air, fire, water,
- 50:25Speaker 2: and earth. Minerals. Those four elements are always going to
- 50:32Speaker 2: interact the same. It'll never, ever, ever change. When the sun...
- 50:38Speaker 2: shines its light on the water, there's going to be
- 50:41Speaker 2: a reaction, right? When the wind blows across the water,
- 50:47Speaker 2: there's going to be a reaction. It's never, ever going
- 50:51Speaker 2: to change, right? So these interactions are happening inside of
- 50:57Speaker 2: us all the time. Well, what makes you and me different?
- 51:01Speaker 2: Of course, If you identify as a woman and I
- 51:07Speaker 2: identify as a man, I'm just going to be gender respectful.
- 51:13Speaker 1: Yeah, appropriate, yeah.
- 51:15Speaker 2: Appropriate here. So the only thing that's different about me
- 51:21Speaker 2: and you is your experience. Yeah. And if we were
- 51:27Speaker 2: to get to know each other deeply... we would find
- 51:31Speaker 2: that our experiences are quite similar. Yeah. Right?
- 51:36Speaker 1: Yeah, I totally agree.
- 51:38Speaker 2: What Buddha realized, right? So what Buddha realized and what
- 51:42Speaker 2: Jesus realized and what Quan Yin realized and what all
- 51:45Speaker 2: the ascended masters, whose names, humans, whose names have lasted
- 51:51Speaker 2: throughout the ages, is they understood the laws of nature
- 51:55Speaker 2: and they understood how to liberate themselves from their own sufferings.
- 52:01Speaker 2: And very simply, the way that they did this was
- 52:05Speaker 2: by objectively observing themselves equanimously. This is the mantra for
- 52:14Speaker 2: every human being on the planet. Objectively observe yourself equanimously,
- 52:22Speaker 2: which means calm in the eye of the storm. Calm
- 52:27Speaker 2: in the chaos of your own mind. Identify your fears.
- 52:30Speaker 2: Identify your judgments. You'll understand your insecurities. You'll understand your
- 52:36Speaker 2: low self-esteem. You'll understand where and how your power was
- 52:40Speaker 2: taken away from you at whatever time it happened in
- 52:43Speaker 2: your life. Why you don't feel you're enough. Why you
- 52:46Speaker 2: don't feel whatever it is that you don't feel enough
- 52:51Speaker 2: and complete in your power and in harmony and in
- 52:54Speaker 2: balance with nature. And it's all based off our traumatic
- 53:00Speaker 2: emotional experiences. The greatest psychologists of our time right now
- 53:06Speaker 2: are all pointing to this. And this all just started
- 53:09Speaker 2: in the last probably 10, 12, 15 years. Gabor Mate
- 53:14Speaker 2: is probably the leader in this where he talks about
- 53:17Speaker 2: childhood trauma and the root cause of suffering. And so
- 53:22Speaker 2: this is what ayahuasca has showed me and also Vipassana.
- 53:28Speaker 2: Because very simply, what Grandma Ayahuasca does is she becomes
- 53:34Speaker 2: a reflection of you. She shows you what you're feeling.
- 53:41Speaker 2: She shows you what your fears are. She shows you
- 53:45Speaker 2: what your judgments are. She shows you what grief you're
- 53:49Speaker 2: holding on to, what shame you're holding on to, what
- 53:53Speaker 2: guilt you're holding on to. And she shows you where
- 53:57Speaker 2: it is in your body. And she shows you what
- 54:00Speaker 2: the experiences are that happened to you in your life
- 54:04Speaker 2: that caused it. That's why we drink ayahuasca. And that's why,
- 54:10Speaker 2: you know, 40 years ago, she started to tell the shamans,
- 54:16Speaker 2: it's time for the people to drink the medicines. Because
- 54:19Speaker 2: up until about 40 years ago, only the shamans drank
- 54:22Speaker 2: the medicine. You would go to the shaman with your issue.
- 54:25Speaker 2: He would drink it. He'd have a vision of what's
- 54:28Speaker 2: happening inside of you and then prescribe you some of
- 54:31Speaker 2: their type of plants to help you with whatever the
- 54:35Speaker 2: issue is.
- 54:36Speaker 1: Right, right. So, I mean, what you're saying is so
- 54:39Speaker 1: powerful and I feel like I'm so ready to do that.
- 54:42Speaker 1: I've been ready for a long time, but what about
- 54:44Speaker 1: for people that are scared of, you know, they, they've
- 54:47Speaker 1: never done psychedelics. I've never done that. I'm scared of it.
- 54:50Speaker 1: I'm scared of throwing up. I had a childhood trauma
- 54:53Speaker 1: that happened to me. I ate poison berries. My mother
- 54:55Speaker 1: gave me Ipecac and it is my throwing up is
- 54:58Speaker 1: my biggest fear. I haven't thrown up since I was
- 55:01Speaker 1: four years old. I'm going to knock on wood because
- 55:03Speaker 1: I'm paralyzed by that fear. from something that happened very
- 55:07Speaker 1: traumatic to me. So I've been scared to do ayahuasca,
- 55:09Speaker 1: but I know for me, someone who's suffered from a
- 55:12Speaker 1: lot of loss and shame and tragedy, that I am
- 55:16Speaker 1: someone who wants to do something like that to help
- 55:20Speaker 1: me move forward. Cause I feel stuck. And I think
- 55:22Speaker 1: that's a universal feeling of so many people feel stuck
- 55:25Speaker 1: for whatever it is. I don't even think people need
- 55:28Speaker 1: to be aware or have gone through some major tragedy
- 55:32Speaker 1: with the tea. You know what I mean? Like it
- 55:34Speaker 1: can just be, Good for anyone, right? I mean, do
- 55:36Speaker 1: you have to feel like you need to fix yourself
- 55:38Speaker 1: to go there, to go through this?
- 55:43Speaker 2: Well, let me just acknowledge you and you, you know,
- 55:47Speaker 2: feeling stuck and this fear that you have, right, about
- 55:52Speaker 2: throwing up and, you know, wanting to understand yourself. You know,
- 55:56Speaker 2: why do I feel stuck? Why do I have this fear?
- 55:59Speaker 2: What's there? Something is there. I'm feeling it. I feel
- 56:02Speaker 2: it in my body, but I'm scared. It's bringing up fear.
- 56:07Speaker 2: It's bringing up the energies that are in your body
- 56:11Speaker 2: that are coming from an experience that you had. And
- 56:15Speaker 2: you know it, that you have to face your fear,
- 56:20Speaker 2: break through, find out what it is, Re-experience it and
- 56:28Speaker 2: love it and let it go unconditionally.
- 56:31Speaker 3: Right.
- 56:32Speaker 2: You know this.
- 56:33Speaker 1: Yes, I do know this.
- 56:35Speaker 2: It's in your heart. It's radiating through you. your body.
- 56:41Speaker 4: Right.
- 56:41Speaker 2: And so as soon as you go and do that,
- 56:44Speaker 2: grandma knows she set this conversation up. We're here talking
- 56:48Speaker 2: about her. She's orchestrated everything in my life. She knew
- 56:51Speaker 2: that you and I needed to come together at this moment,
- 56:54Speaker 2: at this time, have this conversation for you to bring
- 56:57Speaker 2: that up because I'm sure you're on your way to
- 57:02Speaker 2: sitting with her and having a relationship with her. You're
- 57:05Speaker 2: feeling the calling. Yeah.
- 57:08Speaker 4: Right.
- 57:09Speaker 2: So, That's first. Acknowledge you, the little girl inside. She
- 57:17Speaker 2: deserves it. She is beautiful. She's important. She is everything.
- 57:26Speaker 2: And she is trying to get your attention.
- 57:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 57:31Speaker 2: Right? And we love her. We honor her in this way.
- 57:41Speaker 2: what I've experienced with my journey and over 350 ceremonies.
- 57:54Speaker 2: And so immediately some would be like, wow, like why
- 57:58Speaker 2: so many, you know, I heard that this, you know,
- 58:02Speaker 2: you drink at one time and your life transforms and
- 58:05Speaker 2: that is not true. You know, the indigenous people that
- 58:09Speaker 2: I sit with, that I have been sitting with for
- 58:11Speaker 2: over seven years, they drink ayahuasca 300 days a year.
- 58:17Speaker 2: It's their green drink in the morning.
- 58:20Speaker 1: Their green juice, yeah.
- 58:22Speaker 2: You know, and what we have to understand is that
- 58:28Speaker 2: we are constantly taking on all kinds of energies that
- 58:33Speaker 2: that are causing the air, the fire, the water, and
- 58:36Speaker 2: the earth inside of us that what we are to
- 58:40Speaker 2: come out of balance. Whatever it is, what's coming through
- 58:46Speaker 2: our eyes, what's coming through our ears, what's through our nose,
- 58:49Speaker 2: what we're eating, what we're feeling, the way people are
- 58:51Speaker 2: talking to us, what's my relationship, what kind of food
- 58:54Speaker 2: am I eating, how many toxins are in it, what
- 58:56Speaker 2: are the chemicals in the water? Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 58:58Speaker 2: It could go on and on and on and on
- 59:00Speaker 2: and on. So ayahuasca helps us to clean off those energies.
- 59:06Speaker 2: And it and it that doesn't mean that okay i
- 59:09Speaker 2: drink ayahuasca 10 15 20 times then it all depends
- 59:13Speaker 2: on your relationship with her and why you have this
- 59:17Speaker 2: relationship with her what type of relationship do you want
- 59:20Speaker 2: with her just like What type of relationship do you
- 59:23Speaker 2: want with your girlfriend or your boyfriend, your husband, your wife,
- 59:27Speaker 2: your coworker, your dog, your cat? It's about a relationship
- 59:33Speaker 2: that we have with this spirit. And in the indigenous world,
- 59:38Speaker 2: the spirit world is more real than this 3D matrix
- 59:43Speaker 2: manipulation control system grid that we're living in. of massive
- 59:50Speaker 2: separation and division. Because in the spirit world, there is
- 59:53Speaker 2: no separation and there is no division. You know, for
- 59:57Speaker 2: somebody who wants to come to the medicine and they
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: are fearful, more of a reason why they should go
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: to the medicine. Because you have a fear. And that
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: fear is holding you back in some way, shape or form.
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: And if somebody says, oh, I'm not going to go
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: do ayahuasca, that's a drug. You're not informed.
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: I'm glad you've said all this. That's really important for me.
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: Right. You're not informed. Yeah, you don't. You're speaking from
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: a very irresponsible and dangerous place and from a place
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: of judgment. Of place of fear and you're passing judgment
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: on something you know nothing about. No experience just because
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: of what you heard or what you read, because I
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: don't care how many books you read about something. Unless
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: you have gone out and have had an experience with it,
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: you've had an emotional experience with it where air, fire, water,
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: and earth has interacted with that thing, whatever it is,
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: you won't truly know it and understand it. That's where
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: true wisdom comes from. Right. Is from an experience with
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: something where you can taste it, you can smell it,
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: you can hear it, you can feel it, you can
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: touch it. You cry with it, you know? you scream
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: with it, whatever it is, you sleep with it, all
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: those things.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: And how would you suggest somebody finds, you know, a
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: real person to do this with? I mean, I know
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: I've had friends that have hired shamans to come to
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: their Hamptons house. You know, is that somebody just as
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: legitimate as going to Costa Rica?
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: You have to be very, very careful. I can't stress
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: it enough because In the world of ayahuasca, in the
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: world of plant medicine, in the world of shamanism, just
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: like in our 3D world, just like you go into
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: work or in your relationship, you have light and you
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: have dark. You have some people who are coming from
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: a place of love and you have some people that
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: are coming from a place of fear, you know, and
- 1:02:05Speaker 2: they wish harm on people. That is happening. We live
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: on a planet of duality. There's light and there's dark.
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: So you really need to know who is serving the medicine,
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: who's facilitating the medicine, who is guiding you, who is
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: protecting you in that space for you to travel, not
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: just into the spirit world, but into your childhood, into
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: your subconscious mind, into the Akashic records of your soul.
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: Because that's what these medicines do. They open up a bridge,
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: a portal into light and information. And so you have
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: to be very, very discerning, very careful about who the
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: shaman is. Right. And who did they train under? What
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: is their knowledge? What is their experience? What lineage do
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: they come from? It's interesting because there's a number of
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: people who I've been speaking to lately. And you're going
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: to see this happen because once we start having the conversation,
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: it goes out into the field. And then everybody else
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: up on the energy. You're going to start to see
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: websites pop up of shamans who have been vetted. you
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: know that they're safe to go to. This is all
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: on its way. There's websites that are coming up now
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: where there's integration websites, where there's integration specialists that are
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: there to assist people after coming out of a plant
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: medicine ceremony. Because you go into a plant medicine ceremony,
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: all of a sudden your mind is blown. You're you know,
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: seeing angels and unicorns and spirit animals and all these
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: different things. And you're remembering things that happened to you
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: in your childhood that, you know, maybe you had amnesia
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: that happened to me. And it's, it's, it's challenging and
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: it's scary. You know, I'm not gonna, this isn't just about,
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: you know, butterflies and unicorns. There's, there's a very dark
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: side of this, but we have that. Right.
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: Right. And that's what I was going to ask you about.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: What about for people that are scared of what they
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: might find, scared about what it might trigger in them,
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: or they're scared that they're not going to come out
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: the same person they were going into it as, even
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: though they might not like that person, but it just
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: feels safe, right?
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: Yeah. And that goes back to what I'm saying. So you,
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: you know, you would contact somebody like me because preparation,
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: preparation and integration are actually more important than then the
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: journey itself, because you have to prepare your body to
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: receive the medicine, detox and cleanse your body. There's certain,
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: you have to get off of drugs. You have to
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: wean yourself off of certain medications. You want to avoid
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: certain types of foods, salt, garlic, onions, no alcohol, no
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: red meat. You want to really clean your body out,
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: purify your body before you receive the medicine. And then
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: the aftercare is just as important because you need somebody
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: to help guide you to integrate the energies that have
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: left and the energies that have come in. So there's
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: this whole like recalibration of your energy field.
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: And what about for people who are interested in knowing,
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: can you do something like this because they're looking for
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: somebody who's passed? Like, are they going to be in
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: touch with someone who's gone? Or is this all about
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: a journey within yourself?
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: Well, it's both and your ancestors are inside of you.
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: So that's comes to ancestral lineage healing. And that's what
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: I've been doing over the last 12 years is I've
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: been going back way, way, way back into my lineage
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: and my many, many, many lifetimes clearing the trauma, clearing
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: the trauma, clearing the trauma, um, So it doesn't get
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: passed down in future generations.
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: Okay. And where is this legal?
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: There are some countries that it's legal in. Peru, it's
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: legal in. Mexico, I think, yeah, Mexico, it's legal to
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: do it there. Ecuador, Brazil. In Brazil, they actually serve
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: ayahuasca to inmates in jail. Oh, wow.
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: Lucky them. Seems like... It makes it easier for them. Um,
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: it's probably pretty enlightening for them.
- 1:06:57Speaker 5: Um, all right.
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: So now I know that from this, you have also
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: created a health and wellness, um, line, right? Or is
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: it an oil? Tell me about that a little bit.
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: Oh, well, this is, um, song.
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: This is a Cambodian word for lovers or friendship. Um,
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: my girlfriend is, um, Cambodian and Thai and Chinese. And this,
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: she's an aromatherapist. She went to school for aromatherapy. And
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: together over the last 10 years, we looked at all
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: these different flowers and plants and trees and looked at
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: all the potential benefits, you know, of these oils, the
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: history of these oils that have gone on back thousands
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: and thousands of years, like frankincense and myrrh and lotus
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: and jasmine. These are oils that kings and queens and
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: ascended masters have been connected to. And we wanted to
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: create something that would address your entire body from the
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: outside layer of your skin to as deep as your
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: chakra system and your nervous system. So there's 26 oils
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: that are in here. And on the outside, they will
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: help protect you from the sun, but they will also
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: repair your skin from damage to the sun.
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: The other benefits that it has is a mood enhancer.
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: It helps to calm and relax the nervous system. There's
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: some flowers in here that are specifically... target certain chakras
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: in the body. It has every anti, anti-inflammatory, anti-stringent, anti-everything
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: in there. Um, if you come to the website, you
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: can see all the different oils, uh, that, that are
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: in the blend. Um, and it's just a, it's a
- 1:09:08Speaker 2: really beautiful, uh, creation that, that my girlfriend Penny made.
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: And we just launched it a few, few months ago, actually,
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: but we, I use these, We use the oils and
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: what we call flower water in ceremony because the lower frequency,
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: lower vibrational entities, like I was saying earlier, there's light
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: and there's dark. And whether you want to call them
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: demons or whatever it is, they don't like the light
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: and the high frequency of the flowers. Right. And so
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: when you put them on your body, they actually help
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: to protect you in ceremony. And they also help to
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: clear off energies that are disrupting the natural harmony of air, fire, water,
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: and earth in your body. Wow.
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: Okay. I need some of this, obviously. I can't wait
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: to order it.
- 1:10:14Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: So if people want to reach you, to talk to
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: you more about this, to ask you more questions, to
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: get in touch with you, to actually, you know, try
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: ayahuasca and have you lead them or guide them on
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: a journey, where could they find you?
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: Well, they could send me an email through my website,
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: which is I-A-M, the letter I-A-M, I-M, Eric Nies, B-R-I-C-N-I-E-S.com. Iamericnies.com
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: is my website. And you can send me an email
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: through there.
- 1:10:47Speaker 3: Okay, awesome.
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: And then where can they buy this amazing oil?
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: They can go to SongsaHawaii.com. S-O-N-G-S-A-A-Hawaii.com. SongsaHawaii.com. Okay.
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: Well, I will be doing that after this show. I'm

- 1:11:11Speaker 1: have your number so I can talk to you offline
- 1:11:14Speaker 1: about how to come see you maybe, because I feel
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: like this was really enlightening for me and really opened
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: up some ideas for me. So it was such a
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: pleasure to meet you. I'm so excited for people to
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: hear your journey and what you're doing now and be
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: enlightened and informed about ayahuasca because I think it's so important.
- 1:11:32Speaker 1: And I think there are so many people that have
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: questions about it. And I think you answered.
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: All of them. When you're ready, I'm going to make
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: an offering. When you're ready, come see me in Hawaii.
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: We'll do a before interview. And we'll do an after
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: interview and we can share your experience with all of
- 1:11:56Speaker 2: these beautiful humans that are following you and listening to
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: you and tuning in to you week after week to
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: hear what you have to say. So I think it
- 1:12:05Speaker 2: would be really cool. You could share your experience. Here
- 1:12:07Speaker 2: we are grandma's calling and I'm ready to answer the call.
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: If you are.

- 1:12:21Speaker 1: So one day we will do this. You know, I
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: will make that commitment. So thank you for helping me
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: get through my fear. And I'm really excited about that.

- 1:13:22Speaker 3: You have to put me in touch. What's it called?
- 1:13:24Speaker 5: It's Dunaidial.
- 1:13:26Speaker 2: Where?
- 1:13:28Speaker 3: Dunaidial.
- 1:13:29Speaker 5: There's an accent on the E.
- 1:13:32Speaker 3: Do you mean.
- 1:13:32Speaker 5: Yes, I got it on Dundale Cars.
- 1:13:34Speaker 7: Lift?
- 1:13:34Speaker 2: Please.
- 1:13:35Speaker 3: Are you going past Kimmage?
- 1:13:37Speaker 2: Oh, Kimmage. No.
- 1:13:39Speaker 5: Dundale Cars.
- 1:13:40Speaker 6: You couldn't possibly go anywhere else.
