- 0:01SPEAKER_00: And how's it going out there?
- 0:05SPEAKER_00: Actin' like you ain't scared.
- 0:07SPEAKER_00: And how's that heart a stone?
- 0:11SPEAKER_00: Ain't so hard when you're alone crying tears you hope that no one ever sees.
- 0:22SPEAKER_00: Guess the good news is that he will never leave.
- 0:27SPEAKER_00: Jesus loves you black sheep.
- 0:33SPEAKER_00: Jesus loves you black she.
- 0:40SPEAKER_00: Yes, Jesus loves you.
- 0:44SPEAKER_00: Black she's happy to be here today and spreading the good news and message.
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: And that song by Ben Fuller has been haunting me.
- 1:02SPEAKER_00: I have played it probably every day on Alexa.
- 1:07SPEAKER_00: And I think I played it so much that my daughter's like, Mom, this song again.
- 1:12SPEAKER_00: I'm like, yes, yes, this song again.
- 1:15SPEAKER_00: And my son Nixon asks for it to be played.
- 1:20SPEAKER_00: I think it resonates somewhere in his heart as well.
- 1:25SPEAKER_00: And I actually had the grateful blessing to hear that song live at the Washington County Fair Park for an event called Beats for Heartbeats.
- 1:38SPEAKER_00: And it was just one of those songs.
- 1:41SPEAKER_00: I I think I've heard it before on the radio, but when hearing it live and seeing Ben Fuller perform it, it just kind of moved you in some type of way and like stuck with you.
- 1:54SPEAKER_00: And and I feel like I've I don't know if I'm categorizing myself as the black sheep because I don't think in my immediate family I was the black sheep.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: You know, I was a good student.
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: I I did good at sports, I got my homework done all the time, kept my nose clean, so to speak.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: I didn't get in trouble with the law except for the occasional speeding ticket, or more than occasional, but you know.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: And I feel like it was in my social circle that I felt like a black sheep.
- 2:29SPEAKER_00: You know, I was the adventurous one, the risk taker, the go-getter, kind of the one that was like, let's go! And of course, my personality has always been like so exciting and just a lot of energy.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: And I'm always down for the get down.
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: And I feel like I, you know was in the moment so much that it was much more fun to say yes to a lot of things.
- 2:50SPEAKER_00: So, did we do some silly things?
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 2:52SPEAKER_00: Do do I have some regrets?
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: Of course.
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: Yes, I do.
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: But I definitely think I was the black sheep, especially because you know, we were in the scene of, you know, skateboarders and you know, cannabis was around and you know, drinking was involved.
- 3:11SPEAKER_00: And so I guess to like an outsider, they'd be like, hmm, what's going on with those kids?
- 3:16SPEAKER_00: But you know, just having the freedom to explore on our own because that's how it was back in the day without you know, cell phones and social media, you know, you could you didn't really have those things holding you accountable, and you could kind of live your youth in the best way that knew we knew how.
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: And I grew up with an older brother and hung out with all the boys.
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: I was one of the boys.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: So I guess that also kind of made me a black sheep in in my girl gang as well, because you know, I was just like one of the guys, so I got I got down like the boys did, and and I was a tomboy too, wasn't afraid to get my hands dirty and just kind of did things that girls didn't normally do, such as like snowboard and skateboard and you know, smoke smoke weed.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: And uh well, I could go on and on.
- 4:08SPEAKER_00: I don't want to call myself out too much, just trying to be vulnerable here.
- 4:11SPEAKER_00: But you know, that was in my teenage years, and then kind of even pushing that further, you know, I I revealed in one of my podcasts that I was called the Duchess of Devauchery back in the day in my 20s.
- 4:22SPEAKER_00: I mean, we partied hard and like in a clean fun kind of way, right?
- 4:27SPEAKER_00: I was a bartender at Cheryl's Club, so just kind of in that you know, nightclub scene.
- 4:32SPEAKER_00: I worked night shifts and many long hours, many, you know, closing the bar and then staying open till the sunrise and giggling and laughing the whole way home.
- 4:42SPEAKER_00: And and so yeah, the the black sheep.
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: Uh but I turned out all right.
- 4:49SPEAKER_00: I turned out fine.
- 4:50SPEAKER_00: I, you know, and that was with with with my husband.
- 4:52SPEAKER_00: I met my husband, I was 18, and we had some really good times together, you know, made it a beautiful family.
- 4:58SPEAKER_00: And, you know, now I'm super proud of where I'm at.
- 5:01SPEAKER_00: But I don't know, that black sheep.
- 5:04SPEAKER_00: I mean, have you ever found yourself in a black sheep position?
- 5:07SPEAKER_00: Would if someone called you a black sheep, would that resonate with you in some kind of capacity?
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: I feel like it's just going against the grain, right?
- 5:17SPEAKER_00: Of what of what the of what the natural way to live is.
- 5:22SPEAKER_00: And so then I kind of stretch that further into the Christian sense of like, we are called to live supernaturally, superabundantly.
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: Does that make us all black sheep?
- 5:36SPEAKER_00: Because we are as chosen ones, as ones that have given ourselves to Christ, we are called to live superabundantly, supernaturally, uh, going against the grain with faith over fear and you know, heeding to our higher purpose, which isn't always easy.
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: And, you know, the devil attacks it every which way of you know planting negative seed, seeds in your in your head, having people come and try to throw you off course.
- 6:03SPEAKER_00: And even if it's by that one step off kilter, and if they can get you to do another step and take another step, another step away from Christ, then you know, you're deviating from your higher and best path.
- 6:14SPEAKER_00: And so I just wonder.
- 6:18SPEAKER_00: I just wonder I still am the black sheet.
- 6:21SPEAKER_00: And now, even growing hemp in my years, that's so misunderstood, and people still think it's a drug, and they don't quite understand that we have an endocannabinoid system and that this plant is like made for us and God given.
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: I've been, you know, preaching that for quite some time, and I don't think I'll ever stop because I think that was his mission and his calling, and it takes the bold and the brave to be able to set forth that that course.
- 6:47SPEAKER_00: So love that song, Jesus Loves You, Black Sheep.
- 6:52SPEAKER_00: But I think it also gives me a lot of hope.
- 6:55SPEAKER_00: And and like, really, like, even though all the times that I messed up, even though all the times that I should have been doing something else or chose the wrong path in that moment, like I'm still loved and forgiven and with his endless grace and mercy.
- 7:13SPEAKER_00: And I'm gonna tie that all back together into the bleed big section of the Bible that I'm reading.
- 7:19SPEAKER_00: But I then it got me thinking, you know, Dolly Parton passed away on 826, 26.
- 7:26SPEAKER_00: God rest her soul, and which little numerology, you know, 26, 2 plus 6, 8, and then on to that year 2026, it's another eight.
- 7:35SPEAKER_00: So infinity, infinity, you know, just that the show, you know, it's all connected.
- 7:40SPEAKER_00: And I just, God rest Dolly Parton's soul.
- 7:45SPEAKER_00: I had a sit with her passing as well.
- 7:48SPEAKER_00: You know, she was 80 years old.
- 7:50SPEAKER_00: There's another eight in there for that numerology, so now we're at 888, which is like of divine, of div of of divinity, of divine purpose and the trailblazer that she was.
- 8:03SPEAKER_00: I don't know if we would define Dolly Parton as a black sheep, but I'm sure in her era when she had first started, she was breaking the mold.
- 8:16SPEAKER_00: She was doing things that women didn't normally do, especially, you know, her first hit song, which was Dumb Blonde.
- 8:23SPEAKER_00: And it was like, Don't mistake me for a dumb blonde.
- 8:27SPEAKER_00: And she just came out in her full, true, authentic self and had just hit after hit, because I think people could really resonate with her as being the black sheep and breaking the mold.
- 8:40SPEAKER_00: And don't we all kind of feel like that at some point?
- 8:44SPEAKER_00: You know, unless we're, you know, really trying to stay in line and and and and follow the course and not do anything wrong, then you can say that you're innocent or but we all sin nature, right?
- 9:00SPEAKER_00: We all have that sin inside of us.
- 9:02SPEAKER_00: And so just to know that Jesus still loves us, and even though we're the black sheep, and and I feel like people like Dolly Parton that continued to show up and show out and be a godly woman and not let fear stop her because she like she had quoted she had nothing to lose.
- 9:28SPEAKER_00: She started dirt poor, you know, a family of what did they say, ten kids?
- 9:34SPEAKER_00: Is it eight or ten?
- 9:36SPEAKER_00: I just find her story truly fascinating, her being self-made and coming up from nothing, really.
- 9:43SPEAKER_00: And we seen that expressed in her song Coat of Many Colors, which has made me cry before.
- 9:50SPEAKER_00: When I've listened to that song and think of how kids can be so cruel, and to kind of that's part of her like ministry and her testimony that you know, despite all odds, despite people telling her you're not good enough, you're not worthy, she's still pushed through.
- 10:09SPEAKER_00: And that is just so hopeful and so enlightening and so lifting to encourage you and I to keep taking one more step, just keep going and living in your truth and in your moment.
- 10:22SPEAKER_00: And whatever that looks like is is beautiful because we can be rooted in that faith that we are to live supernaturally, super abundantly.
- 10:32SPEAKER_00: We are being called to live like black sheep.
- 10:37SPEAKER_00: And I also love that.
- 10:40SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh, there's a turkey right over there.
- 10:42SPEAKER_00: Sorry, I got distracted.
- 10:45SPEAKER_00: Do you guys see it?
- 10:46SPEAKER_00: Gobble, gobble, gobble, gobble, wobble, wobble, gobble, gobble.
- 10:51SPEAKER_00: Oh, I just looked over me.
- 10:52SPEAKER_00: He's so majestic.
- 10:53SPEAKER_00: Hey, baby.
- 10:54SPEAKER_00: I don't know, that's a sign.
- 10:56SPEAKER_00: That is a sign of something, I tell you.
- 11:01SPEAKER_00: Heidi.
- 11:02SPEAKER_00: It's not a it's not a black shape, but my goodness.
- 11:06SPEAKER_00: He's going solo.
- 11:08SPEAKER_00: Anyways, okay, so my favorite Dolly Parton song was Jolene.
- 11:16SPEAKER_00: What are some of your favorite Dolly Parton songs?
- 11:18SPEAKER_00: I also feel like nine to five was one that always really stuck with it with me, too, especially when I was working that nine to five.
- 11:24SPEAKER_00: I'd be like, pouring another cup of coffee, working that nine to five.
- 11:29SPEAKER_00: Girls just got to make a living.
- 11:32SPEAKER_00: Ha ha.
- 11:33SPEAKER_00: Until you busted out of that.
- 11:34SPEAKER_00: And just being the black sheep, too, by busting out of that nine to five and just being an entrepreneur and kind of blazing trails like we do.
- 11:41SPEAKER_00: But the Jolene, I've actually done a variation for one of the bartenders, and oh my gosh, and karaoke, and just brought the house down with that.
- 11:49SPEAKER_00: I just love the song Jolene, Jolene.
- 11:54SPEAKER_00: I'm begging of you, please don't take my man.
- 11:58SPEAKER_00: Just because you can.
- 12:12SPEAKER_00: Oh, it's catchy.
- 12:13SPEAKER_00: It's some catchy stuff.
- 12:14SPEAKER_00: I know you got some favorite Dolly Parton tunes.
- 12:17SPEAKER_00: What are they?
- 12:17SPEAKER_00: Leave them in the comments.
- 12:19SPEAKER_00: I wanna know.
- 12:20SPEAKER_00: Because she has so many, she has so many out there, but with her passing, and I feel like just kind of suddenly, right?
- 12:26SPEAKER_00: She did go on and say that she was having health complications.
- 12:30SPEAKER_00: But you know, coming out and one day she here one day and gone the next.
- 12:39SPEAKER_00: And I believe she is one of those sweet angels, one of those black sheeps that look down and is just smiling because she believed big from her hair to her boobs to how she just lived life.
- 12:53SPEAKER_00: She was living large.
- 12:55SPEAKER_00: And I feel like that's so inspiring.
- 12:57SPEAKER_00: And when I grow up, I want to be just like Dolly.
- 13:00SPEAKER_00: Honestly.
- 13:01SPEAKER_00: And I feel like she's a testimony too to just kind of trusting the process and you know, your plan.
- 13:08SPEAKER_00: Her plan might have just been to be to be famous, knowing that she wanted to be famous, but then God had other plans for her, and she was able to be such a philanthropist and pay it forward, and you know, give those free books to so many children and donate to so many different charities and funds and make a true lasting impression here.
- 13:30SPEAKER_00: I've been to Dollywood, I've been to her amusement park, and it was amazing.
- 13:35SPEAKER_00: I the roller coasters were top-notch, the food was amazing.
- 13:39SPEAKER_00: There wasn't like all the rig-amarrow of long lines and fast passes and things like that.
- 13:45SPEAKER_00: It was pretty straightforward on how to get on the rides, and I really enjoyed my time there.
- 13:50SPEAKER_00: And the gardens were just beautiful.
- 13:52SPEAKER_00: It was it was really a larger-than-life kind of theme park, and it was kind of had the country theme going with it too.
- 13:57SPEAKER_00: It's in Tennessee.
- 13:59SPEAKER_00: So I just I really enjoyed my time there at Dollywood, and I was able to go there while she was still alive and here with us, but I can only imagine what they're gonna do with the place now being a tribute, you know, to and a testimony to her life.
- 14:11SPEAKER_00: It's just one of those places that you can go and kind of feel close to Dolly.
- 14:17SPEAKER_00: God rest her soul.
- 14:18SPEAKER_00: So sorry, I kind of went off on this whole black sheep thing and wanted to tie that in with Dolly because, you know, again, I wonder how many of you feel like the black sheep just because you are going against the grain and being your true authentic self and you know, mess up every so once in a while and say or do things that you shouldn't, but we just keep choosing to move on forward.
- 14:38SPEAKER_00: So keep on rocking in the free world, and let's all believe big like Dolly.
- 14:44SPEAKER_00: I had the wonderful opportunities I was saying to go to Beats for Heartbeats.
- 14:50SPEAKER_00: My dear sister Rachel bought us birthday tickets and meet and greet opportunity there.
- 14:59SPEAKER_00: And I went into it not really knowing, you know, the artist that well.
- 15:04SPEAKER_00: There was Coin A, Sanctus Real, and Ben Fuller.
- 15:09SPEAKER_00: And as a Christian music enthusiast, I feel like that's a lot of times all that I listen to nowadays.
- 15:17SPEAKER_00: I didn't really I wasn't too familiar with the songs, as at least by name.
- 15:21SPEAKER_00: Like maybe if I heard the song, I'd be like, oh yeah, I know this song.
- 15:24SPEAKER_00: And so I was completely blown away about how many songs I knew of Ben Fuller and even Sanctus Real.
- 15:30SPEAKER_00: They've been along for a really long time.
- 15:32SPEAKER_00: But being able to meet them in person was just next level there.
- 15:36SPEAKER_00: We kind of showed up and and waited in line, and there were so many people that wanted to share with these artists how they impacted their life and how their music has propelled them forward and gave them hope.
- 15:49SPEAKER_00: And I just loved connecting with some of the community members about with their stories, and we're able to make some new friends there in that capacity, which was really sweet.
- 15:58SPEAKER_00: And I feel like God was doing his work then.
- 16:00SPEAKER_00: But Coin A was really cool.
- 16:03SPEAKER_00: They're from Jackson, Wisconsin, and it's a local Christian band that is kind of a big deal.
- 16:10SPEAKER_00: I mean, they got some really great songs and some really good music, and even I think one of their things is um you could get worship music that which you don't need instruments.
- 16:20SPEAKER_00: So if you were a church that didn't have a pianist or a drummer, you could play this music and still have singers and still be able to worship in your church.
- 16:29SPEAKER_00: So that was something else that they paid it forward and lend a hand and created that music program for churches to utilize.
- 16:36SPEAKER_00: And I loved meeting him, he was super down-to-earth, you know, like your neighbor friend, and you know, asked us questions, we were able to ask him questions, and I asked him if he like foreseen this journey, and he's like, Absolutely not.
- 16:49SPEAKER_00: We just kind of rolled with it.
- 16:50SPEAKER_00: I got with some buddies that knew how to that knew how to play music, and we wrote some songs and fast forward we toured for like 12 years straight, and just were, you know, rocking with it, and then they all kind of settled down and had babies, had wives, had families, and took a break in the touring musical scene, and then they were asked to come back.
- 17:14SPEAKER_00: And so now this has kind of been the revival of the band and how they continue to share and show up for the community.
- 17:19SPEAKER_00: It was super sweet to be able to hear that testimony and was encouraging to me, who is a blooding and blossoming, blossoming songwriter and artist.
- 17:31SPEAKER_00: It is one of my goals this year to write and produce a song and share it with the world.
- 17:38SPEAKER_00: So stay tuned.
- 17:40SPEAKER_00: It's coming.
- 17:40SPEAKER_00: I just feel like I have to like kind of hunker in, and I feel like that that time is coming up soon with the kids going back to school.
- 17:47SPEAKER_00: It's always so bittersweet when the kids go back to school.
- 17:51SPEAKER_00: But we've really been squeezing every last bit of summer fun out of this this week and and the whole summer, I believe, just knowing that we have 18 delicious summers with these babies.
- 18:00SPEAKER_00: You better make them all count.
- 18:02SPEAKER_00: But needless to say, meeting him was awesome.
- 18:05SPEAKER_00: Sanctus Real was super great too.
- 18:07SPEAKER_00: We were like, got to hear about their journey being on the road and you know, some of the trials and tribulations that they encountered.
- 18:14SPEAKER_00: I don't feel like we give these guys enough credit of the sacrifice that they make when they're out there on the road, away from their wives, away from their families, away from their roots, and just to share the love of Jesus.
- 18:26SPEAKER_00: And that's with a whole pure heart.
- 18:28SPEAKER_00: And so I love to hear it, love to see it, and love to be in that presence.
- 18:33SPEAKER_00: It's really powerful stuff.
- 18:35SPEAKER_00: And then we were then the last person was, of course, Ben Fuller, who had was wearing all black, you know, like that black sheet.
- 18:43SPEAKER_00: And then he had his country boots on, and he gave hugs.
- 18:47SPEAKER_00: He gave like the biggest like bear hugs, and it was like a respectful hug, you know.
- 18:51SPEAKER_00: It wasn't like, you know, like chest to chest, but it was kind of like a nice embrace.
- 18:56SPEAKER_00: And I feel like I just love that he did that because that just made him so much more personable, so much more real, right?
- 19:03SPEAKER_00: Like he's a real person and he's and he's out there hugging each individual person that stood in that line to meet him.
- 19:10SPEAKER_00: And so I think that left left a lasting impression on me.
- 19:14SPEAKER_00: And I'll always kind of remember him for that sweet hug that he gave to everybody.
- 19:19SPEAKER_00: And you just he just made you feel special in that capacity and just kind of goes to like how important hugs are, right?
- 19:25SPEAKER_00: Like we could all use just a sweet and nice hug sometimes.
- 19:29SPEAKER_00: We need to hug more often.
- 19:30SPEAKER_00: That physical contact, that physical touch just means everything.
- 19:34SPEAKER_00: And to especially to some people that might not have those opportunities to be hugged, and so hug each other and hold it until hold it until that other person kind of lets go.
- 19:46SPEAKER_00: You can feel that energy, you know, release.
- 19:49SPEAKER_00: And I always love to just hold a hug a little bit longer to make them a little bit more uncomfortable, or I'll add my my shake.
- 19:56SPEAKER_00: I'm like so happy.
- 19:57SPEAKER_00: I'm almost like wagging my tail.
- 19:58SPEAKER_00: I'm like, ooh, yes, I do, with some of my bestest friends, and and I find them doing it to me too, and I just it's so good, it's so good.
- 20:05SPEAKER_00: So that hug meant everything, and you know, with the he's Ben Fuller sings songs like if I got Jesus, I got all that I could ever need.
- 20:18SPEAKER_00: Take the world away from me, and I'll be okay if I got Jesus.
- 20:25SPEAKER_00: And then He found me.
- 20:27SPEAKER_00: That was another big powerful song, and it was if it was up to me, if it was up to me.
- 20:37SPEAKER_00: So it was awesome to be able to hit up that concert, not only meet all the bands, but we were like front row.
- 20:44SPEAKER_00: Yo, I feel like I felt kind of silly because everyone that showed up there at the silver lining stage at the Washington County Fair Park had brought in chairs, and Rachel brought a beautiful blanket and she put it right up front, and uh we moved it over to center, and we didn't have any chairs, so we, you know, we weren't gonna like sit on the swinging because it was concrete, so we were standing, we were like looking around, we're like blocking people.
- 21:08SPEAKER_00: So I'm like, well, maybe let's go over to the side for like the first band.
- 21:12SPEAKER_00: And where I loved that because I was able to kind of like swirl and twirl and do some some fun dancing just to the music that that I felt was right, and then it was like by the time Ben Fuller came on, out of nowhere, like the sunset was happening, and then this little rain cloud came in, and so everybody kind of rushed the stage because they wanted to go under the awning.
- 21:36SPEAKER_00: And so then it felt right to stand, and so we weren't like blocking people behind us.
- 21:41SPEAKER_00: And I feel like when you worship, when you are singing his praises, please stand, right?
- 21:47SPEAKER_00: Like that's just for me.
- 21:48SPEAKER_00: That's like an able and capable body.
- 21:50SPEAKER_00: Like, even when I'm at New Life Church, we invite everybody to rise with us, to stand with us and sing his praises.
- 21:58SPEAKER_00: So it felt really good.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: To be able to stand.
- 22:01SPEAKER_00: And I don't think I have ever been that close to a stage.
- 22:04SPEAKER_00: I'm not kidding.
- 22:05SPEAKER_00: Like, we were like, the stage was like right here, and I'm like, ha ha ha ha.
- 22:09unknown: Hey!
- 22:11SPEAKER_00: Right there.
- 22:12SPEAKER_00: So, I mean, it just made it that much more powerful.
- 22:14SPEAKER_00: It's like you could reach out and touch faith, honestly.
- 22:17SPEAKER_00: And Ben Fuller put on one heck of a show.
- 22:21SPEAKER_00: He really connected with the crowd, especially the little ones in the audience, giving fist bumps and telling them their glasses were fire, and you know, using the lingo and you know, eye contact, the whole bit, and and the in the lights and the sound, and and and every bit was really powerful and impactful worship.
- 22:41SPEAKER_00: And I feel like people left there on high for Jesus.
- 22:44SPEAKER_00: Again, like a reinvigorating sense of purpose from that show.
- 22:50SPEAKER_00: And I just loved how he ended it.
- 22:52SPEAKER_00: It was just great.
- 22:53SPEAKER_00: Um, but I cannot say enough about standing up at the front of that stage with my sisters in Christ.
- 23:04SPEAKER_00: I gave a lot of gratitude to my sister Rachel and a good friend, Miss Katie, for being able to share that experience together and supporting one another in this spiritual journey.
- 23:18SPEAKER_00: Having like-minded, powerful women in your uh with you in these instances just really can fill up your cup in and of that, because then you know we can share this experience and and and bring it forth into our communities and families and make those ripples and waves, which are so important because each of us in our churches are you know assuming some kind of leadership positions in which we feel called to be in more fellowship and be more of service in that capacity.
- 23:51SPEAKER_00: So to be able to fill up our cups together so they can pour them out.
- 23:56SPEAKER_00: And with Sisters in Christ, being standing next to like-minded individuals, it's just powerful in and of itself.
- 24:02SPEAKER_00: So get plugged in, folks.
- 24:04SPEAKER_00: If you want a friend that you can share your spiritual journey with, I can be that person for you, but really just pray on it.
- 24:13SPEAKER_00: Ask God for an angel to be sent your way where you can be in fellowship and communion with others that share the same beliefs that you even maybe they don't, maybe they're complete opposite, but like a sounding board where you guys can learn and grow together.
- 24:28SPEAKER_00: It's just really, really powerful stuff, and I feel like you know, sets the roots deeper in the ground where you you know you can have friends to lean on, and and that means everything.
- 24:38SPEAKER_00: I mean, angels are everywhere all the time, and all you have to do is ask.
- 24:42SPEAKER_00: Ask, and you shall receive.
- 24:45SPEAKER_00: I'm an awe and wonder every day of this of this premise, and it really does work.
- 24:50SPEAKER_00: So take my word for it, folks.
- 24:52SPEAKER_00: It's it's a good word.
- 24:54SPEAKER_00: It is a good word of hope and promise and faith and perseverance and surrender and sacrifice and all the high vibrational goodness that God has to offer.
- 25:08SPEAKER_00: I love it.
- 25:08SPEAKER_00: I love it so much.
- 25:09SPEAKER_00: So that was really good news.
- 25:11SPEAKER_00: Um, and after leaving there, I was like, you know, again, the black sheep, um working at Cheryl's Club.
- 25:21SPEAKER_00: I love Cheryl's Club so much.
- 25:23SPEAKER_00: I'm so deeply rooted.
- 25:24SPEAKER_00: Obviously, my mom is Cheryl.
- 25:26SPEAKER_00: It is a family restaurant.
- 25:28SPEAKER_00: My it's like my church away from church, right?
- 25:31SPEAKER_00: Like you take it to church, you go to Cheryl's, but sometimes, like as of late, I've been feeling a little disconnected from there because I'm like, is this like aligning with my highest and best?
- 25:41SPEAKER_00: And then of course I have to giggle like, oh figure, God is working miracles through the bar owner's daughter and reaching the unreachable sometimes.
- 25:51SPEAKER_00: And so I felt like this strong urge and calling to host a worship night at Cheryl's Club 175.
- 25:59SPEAKER_00: And honestly, it scares the living bejasis out of me.
- 26:03SPEAKER_00: I'm kind of like, ooh, do I brur?
- 26:05SPEAKER_00: But like, as as I as I've been saying, like, stuff that scares you is probably your calling.
- 26:11SPEAKER_00: Like, that is what you're being called to do, and and to live in that faith and not fear.
- 26:15SPEAKER_00: And so I'm kind of just working it out of my head.
- 26:17SPEAKER_00: I'm not gonna talk myself out of it.
- 26:19SPEAKER_00: We are hosting a worship concert at Cheryl's Club.
- 26:23SPEAKER_00: Stay tuned for the details in Slinger, Wisconsin.
- 26:26SPEAKER_00: I just feel like that revival of reaching the unreachable, you know, Jesus loving the black sheep is just so prevalent and so necessary, and you know, gonna bring a new life to nightlife out there because people are searching.
- 26:38SPEAKER_00: They're searching for something different, and maybe we can offer it.
- 26:41SPEAKER_00: And you know what?
- 26:42SPEAKER_00: If it's if it's not a raging success, that's okay, but we gotta start somewhere.
- 26:46SPEAKER_00: And and then I get a like the who am I?
- 26:48SPEAKER_00: Who am I to host this?
- 26:49SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, I am a child of God.
- 26:51SPEAKER_00: That's who I am, and I'm gonna try to do the thing.
- 26:53SPEAKER_00: So I'm really excited to kind of put the pieces together.
- 26:56SPEAKER_00: The seed has been planted, it has been germinated, it's gonna happen.
- 27:00SPEAKER_00: Maybe it's when I release my song in the new year, but I don't wanna make it about me, I wanna make it for his glory.
- 27:06SPEAKER_00: So even if I'm partnering with people that are like-minded and want have something that they want to share and offer, I would love to be and honor that in any capacity.
- 27:15SPEAKER_00: And I'm really excited to see what God unfolds because again, it's not my plan, it's his purpose.
- 27:21SPEAKER_00: So, worship at Cheryl's Club 175.
- 27:24SPEAKER_00: Why not use that as a beautiful stage?
- 27:27SPEAKER_00: And you want to know what the best part about it is.
- 27:29SPEAKER_00: As I talked to my mom about it, and I'm like, mom, what do you think?
- 27:34SPEAKER_00: And she's like, I think you should do it.
- 27:36SPEAKER_00: Yes, she's like, she actually even said that I should reach out to Coin A and see if they'll play at Cheryl's Club.
- 27:42SPEAKER_00: And I was like, wow, that's a great idea.
- 27:44SPEAKER_00: And it's actually, as I'm saying this right now, like, maybe I should give me like a thumbs up, like heart star, if you think that worship night should happen at Cheryl's, and we should reach out to the local band to see if they would play at Cheryl's.
- 27:57SPEAKER_00: Like, I know it's not like this big venue, like where thousands of people can come, but a max of 240, and we can make it happen, okay?
- 28:05SPEAKER_00: Some magic can happen, and so I'm really excited to see what God has in store.
- 28:10SPEAKER_00: And again, it's me, you know, believing bigger and hoping more.
- 28:14SPEAKER_00: So I'm super stoked.
- 28:16SPEAKER_00: Stay tuned.
- 28:17SPEAKER_00: And speaking of that venue at the Washington County Fair Park, this weekend is the first annual rooted in Wisconsin, a cannabis festival.
- 28:32SPEAKER_00: And I just love what they're doing there.
- 28:34SPEAKER_00: They're gonna have live music and vendors, a cannabis competition, artists, consumption games, disc golfing, education panels, you name it about cannabis, it's gonna be here and it's showing off some of the best of the best in Wisconsin.
- 28:52SPEAKER_00: And if you um you must make a plan to go.
- 28:55SPEAKER_00: It is from 11 to 9 this Saturday, so that's the 29th.
- 29:01SPEAKER_00: And it goes, you know, all day at the fair park.
- 29:04SPEAKER_00: I think it's only$10 admission to get in, unless you want to upgrade the VIP experience.
- 29:09SPEAKER_00: I'm not quite sure what that all entails, but I'm sure it's amazing.
- 29:12SPEAKER_00: And, you know, it's get it's culminating all of the local cannabis collective here in Wisconsin to showcase what we've got.
- 29:21SPEAKER_00: The only sad part about it is DNA Hemp is not gonna be there.
- 29:27SPEAKER_00: It didn't align with my schedule.
- 29:29SPEAKER_00: I do have the West Bend Farmer's Market in the morning that I have committed to.
- 29:35SPEAKER_00: And also, it is my son's Nixon's very first football game.
- 29:40SPEAKER_00: So I just gotta put family first on this one and kind of, you know, it's the last Saturday before back to school.
- 29:47SPEAKER_00: So I just couldn't justify being there for 10 hours.
- 29:50SPEAKER_00: Um, even more than that with setup and takedown.
- 29:53SPEAKER_00: And but maybe I'll swing through.
- 29:55SPEAKER_00: Maybe after the football game, we'll get some time to kind of show some love and spread the good word and see what the cannabis festival is all about rooted in Wisconsin.
- 30:04SPEAKER_00: It's kind of hurts because I'm having FOMO because I've had a lot of my peers message me.
- 30:08SPEAKER_00: I'm like, are you gonna be there?
- 30:09SPEAKER_00: What's going on?
- 30:09SPEAKER_00: What's the what's the download?
- 30:11SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, I have to, I get to witness my son play football.
- 30:17SPEAKER_00: And it's the first game of the season, so I'm super excited for him.
- 30:20SPEAKER_00: He is gonna be a corner on the defensive line, and we're gonna go see what that's all about.
- 30:26SPEAKER_00: But he's super excited about it, and I don't think I'd miss it for any cannibal cannabis festival in the world.
- 30:31SPEAKER_00: So we're doing it.
- 30:32SPEAKER_00: That's just where I'm at in my life, right?
- 30:34SPEAKER_00: Like, it's all about those babies, it's all about the kids, it's all about being a mom.
- 30:38SPEAKER_00: And even though I'm a can of mom, you know, family always comes first.
- 30:42SPEAKER_00: And I did have an interesting conversation with a mom that was at football about hemp, and you know, it's really like hemp 101 of like how it doesn't get you high, um, like marijuana, how there's different modes of consumption, how you really have to know your farmer and and kind of work on your dosing, and there's no one size fits all.
- 31:03SPEAKER_00: And then even then, I was like, do you know about the endocannabinoid system?
- 31:07SPEAKER_00: And I just felt like it was too much information, and I was like, I still don't have this all down for this one size fits all, not even a sales pitch because I feel like it's deeper than that for me, and I feel like I want to be able to share so much, and I have been sharing so much, but I just getting back to the basics.
- 31:26SPEAKER_00: That's why this rooted, like get back to the roots, you know.
- 31:29SPEAKER_00: I mean, I have an herbalism degree where I've written papers, a literature review, is compiling all the research on your endocannabinoid system and what that looks like in the healthcare scope of things, and it's all positive, it's all improving the quality of life, and but it's like treating it like medicine, and that's I think with hemp, you really have to think of it more medicinally and not recreationally.
- 31:54SPEAKER_00: But I think there's gonna be a good mix of that going on in the rooted, kind of giving you a peek see into the future of what's to come here in Wisconsin, since we are rooted in big agriculture, as I talked about in depth the last episode with the grain and the fiber and all the cannabidial goodness that's happening out there.
- 32:12SPEAKER_00: So I absolutely um highly recommend if you have no plans on Saturday, even if you have plans and you can sneak this in, go check out the Rooted Cannabis Festival at the Washington County Fair Park from 11 to 9.
- 32:28SPEAKER_00: Holla! And go rep your local DNA Hemper, okay?
- 32:32SPEAKER_00: We're still out there.
- 32:33SPEAKER_00: I will be there spiritually and energetically, okay?
- 32:35SPEAKER_00: I've been putting in the good work for the last eight grow seasons.
- 32:41SPEAKER_00: Let's go! You know, I'm uh believing big here, and I know that DNA Hems cultivating a natural pharmacy is still part of the big mission, even though we can partake in this event.
- 32:52SPEAKER_00: Um, and one thing that I want to leave with for this this podcast is the karmic reset that's happening, the intense, raw, and transformative solar, solar partial eclipse that's happening here tonight.
- 33:15SPEAKER_00: So you gotta get outside around 10 o'clock, 10 p.m.
- 33:20SPEAKER_00: in that's uh central standard time in Wisconsin and go check out that it that partial eclipse with the sturgeon moon.
- 33:30SPEAKER_00: So not only is it a full full moon, but it's gonna also be an eclipse.
- 33:34SPEAKER_00: And I think this is really big energy, y'all.
- 33:37SPEAKER_00: This is the transformation.
- 33:40SPEAKER_00: This is the shadow work.
- 33:42SPEAKER_00: This is the releasing of what no longer serves you.
- 33:45SPEAKER_00: Playing small, self-doubt, negative inside chatter, or even, you know, all of the sins that are out there of, you know, the the lying, cheating, stealing, gossiping that the devil is so calls you to do on a daily basis.
- 34:02SPEAKER_00: But we can say, no, not today.
- 34:04SPEAKER_00: We're letting that go.
- 34:05SPEAKER_00: We're gonna do a complete surrender, which is allowing space for new growth, friends.
- 34:12SPEAKER_00: And so get rooted, get your feet out in the grass, out in the sand, out in the dirt, wherever you're at, just ground down, sole a foot to the sole of the earth, and feel her heartbeat because it's gonna be witnessed magically through the partial solar eclipse that's gonna be happening and the full moon looking bold, bright, and beautiful.
- 34:34SPEAKER_00: And the full moon is always a good time to let things go to release.
- 34:38SPEAKER_00: That's any full moon.
- 34:39SPEAKER_00: But I think with this eclipse, it you know kind of draws into the shadow work and the surrendering and letting go of the darkness that could haunt you.
- 34:48SPEAKER_00: And so we're focusing on grounding and release, and it's a karmic growth for higher purpose and uh with amplified illumination, cosmic reset, and trusting the big picture.
- 35:04SPEAKER_00: So great time to believe big and be and live super abundantly and wild enough, friends, wild enough that while I'm reading the Bible, in which, yes, I try to do every single morning, God willing, to just give gr um, give gratitude, give praise, and get my mind right before I step out into the battlefield, which is life, you know, this is where I wake up so I can be my best.
- 35:34SPEAKER_00: And I wanted to share the Ephesians 3:20 with you and read you this piece.
- 35:39SPEAKER_00: Are you ready?
- 35:40SPEAKER_00: Give me a thumbs up if you're if you're down to hear this good news of the gospel.
- 35:46SPEAKER_00: Now to him who is able to carry out his purpose and do super abundantly more than all that we dare to ask or think.
- 35:58SPEAKER_00: Infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams.
- 36:03SPEAKER_00: According to his power, that is his work within us.
- 36:08SPEAKER_00: To him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever.
- 36:15SPEAKER_00: Amen.
- 36:16SPEAKER_00: Super abundantly, friends, if we dare, if we dare to be the black sheep, Jesus still loves you, and his overflowing grace and mercy will fill you up every single day, all day.
- 36:31SPEAKER_00: It's just a prayer away.
- 36:33SPEAKER_00: So then this believe big.
- 36:36SPEAKER_00: You know, we usually wait, we want to wait until we feel ready before we step out.
- 36:42SPEAKER_00: But if we feel ready, then we tend to lean on ourselves instead of God.
- 36:46SPEAKER_00: Mm-mm.
- 36:47SPEAKER_00: That is not what we are called to do.
- 36:50SPEAKER_00: Know your weaknesses and know God, know his strengths and his faithfulness.
- 36:56SPEAKER_00: Okay?
- 36:57SPEAKER_00: Remember that he is able to do super abundantly more than anything you could ever dare to think or ask.
- 37:10SPEAKER_00: God's plan, baby.
- 37:12SPEAKER_00: I don't think Dolly imagined in her wildest dreams the the a con the kind of iconic success she was in the full, beautiful life that she lived.
- 37:22SPEAKER_00: I don't think she had the capacity to dream that.
- 37:27SPEAKER_00: But she did it, and she did it faithfully, and knowing that she was set apart and made different and to do more because her family was rooted in faith and passed that on to her, and what a beautiful thing, and the world is such a a more better place with Dolly, and having her spirit reside in us at all times is supernatural, super abundant, and the good news is, friends, you have it too.
- 38:01SPEAKER_00: As soon as you accept the gift of salvation, you can live just like Dolly.
- 38:06SPEAKER_00: Anything is possible, and we're all the pla go Ephesians goes on to say, kind of like it's already written.
- 38:14SPEAKER_00: It's already, your path is already laid out.
- 38:16SPEAKER_00: He you can't mess it up.
- 38:18SPEAKER_00: He knows exactly, he knows every single hair on your head to your fingerprint.
- 38:23SPEAKER_00: You are special and unique, and your talents are are designed just for you to share in this world, and that is how you're called to live.
- 38:32SPEAKER_00: Be the black sheep, okay?
- 38:36SPEAKER_00: And if you believe it, you can achieve it.
- 38:39SPEAKER_00: So dare to dream bag, friends.
- 38:41SPEAKER_00: I love you so much.
- 38:42SPEAKER_00: Thank you again.
- 38:44SPEAKER_00: My name is Ashley Amber, aka Bubbles, and I will continue to stand on this mountaintop and tell it on, tell it, go tell it, and make disciples as I'm a fisher of men, and I feel like that is for his glory.
- 38:58SPEAKER_00: I love you so much.
- 39:00SPEAKER_00: I'm sorry if I ever planted an ugly seed or said something that was without care or high vibration.
- 39:12SPEAKER_00: Please forgive me for all of my past transgressions and you know who I was before I was fully known in his glory and goodness.
- 39:23SPEAKER_00: And thank you so much for spending this time with me here today.
- 39:28SPEAKER_00: It means the world to me, and I hope we can strengthen each other as brothers and sisters in Christ.
- 39:38SPEAKER_00: That's good news.
- 39:39SPEAKER_00: Go spread it.
- 39:40SPEAKER_00: Spread it on the mountain.
- 39:42SPEAKER_00: Because Jesus loves you, black she until next time.
