- 3:12Speaker 1: Oh, I've had those.
- 3:13Speaker 4: They're delicious.
- 3:14Speaker 3: I've not tried these, but this is always where I
- 3:16Speaker 3: make some notes.
- 3:17Speaker 5: Yes, they're like very their restaurant quality.
- 3:22Speaker 1: Like potstickers kind of. Yes.
- 3:24Speaker 4: And no, they're softer and sort of more pillowy.
- 3:27Speaker 3: Yeah, because you put them you're supposed to put them
- 3:29Speaker 3: in a broth and a sup.
- 3:31Speaker 4: We're really good.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 3:31Speaker 3: That was up from second place last year. They won
- 3:35Speaker 3: over the runner up, the butternut squash mac and cheese. Thanks, yeah,
- 3:41Speaker 3: but you've lost me a butternut squash.
- 3:42Speaker 4: I don't know why people always think it's fine mac.
- 3:46Speaker 5: And cheese exactly exactly, And cheese wasn't broken, that's true.
- 3:51Speaker 3: I like zucchini, but I don't, but I don't like
- 3:54Speaker 3: like butternut squash soup really or the other thing.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Eggplant, talk about.
- 4:03Speaker 3: Something good, squash so velvety and uh favorite new product
- 4:08Speaker 3: and boys at trendy protein pancakes.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Oh noise.
- 4:14Speaker 3: Yeah, so fluffy frozen flap jacks twenty grams of protein
- 4:19Speaker 3: per four pack.
- 4:20Speaker 4: You might as well get those.
- 4:21Speaker 1: I got those a Trader Joe's.
- 4:22Speaker 6: I don't know if I got the protein ones or not,
- 4:24Speaker 6: but you can also microwave them for like forty five
- 4:26Speaker 6: seconds and they are awesome.
- 4:29Speaker 3: My kids have been eating those four years. You get
- 4:31Speaker 3: them into just the regular grocery store and it comes
- 4:33Speaker 3: in like just like kind of like a plastic, yeah,
- 4:35Speaker 3: kind of bag. They're like, yeah, there's a three pancakes.
- 4:37Speaker 1: They're small, pretty small.
- 4:39Speaker 3: They're like they're like regular. Sound, They're like regularly. They're
- 4:43Speaker 3: so damn they eat two packs all right, right, will dude?
- 4:46Speaker 7: You know what my favorite item from Trader jos is
- 4:48Speaker 7: is the mini French baguettes. Have you tried those? They're
- 4:52Speaker 7: in the frozen section, Dude, so freaking good. I just
- 4:57Speaker 7: put them in the oven and then eat them with
- 4:59Speaker 7: like steak and stuff.
- 5:00Speaker 3: Trader Joe's Customer Service Award winners Favorite Beverage went to
- 5:04Speaker 3: spiced cider. Okay, and uh, it's a seasonal thing, but
- 5:07Speaker 3: it's won five plus times. It is headed to the
- 5:09Speaker 3: Hall of Fame.
- 5:10Speaker 8: Yeah, it's really good. And if you put it in
- 5:12Speaker 8: their pumpkin bread, oh my.
- 5:14Speaker 1: God, it's so good in there.
- 5:16Speaker 3: What do you mean putting when you bake it?
- 5:17Speaker 8: Like when you buy their pumpkin bread to bake and
- 5:19Speaker 8: you add that apple cider to it.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Deliver Oka.
- 5:23Speaker 3: Favorite Produce went to the teeny tiny Avocados Gray so
- 5:28Speaker 3: the backs of the six eighty bitty avocados. They are
- 5:31Speaker 3: just so loved and they have won the category more
- 5:33Speaker 3: than five times and they are also Hall of Fame bound. Okay,
- 5:36Speaker 3: Best Appetizer Trader Joe's for the Customer Choice Awards went
- 5:41Speaker 3: to the Creamy Spinach and artichoke.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Did that?
- 5:45Speaker 3: It's so good, man, It'd beat out the runner up,
- 5:47Speaker 3: which is the Jalapeno and cream cheese Crispy Wantons.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Excuse me?
- 5:54Speaker 3: Okay, Favorite Breakfast and Brunch went to hash Browns. Now,
- 5:58Speaker 3: I would, I guess because new product was the pancakes.
- 6:01Speaker 3: It can't win twice, but yeah, Favorite Breakfast and Brunch
- 6:04Speaker 3: went to hash Browns because I mean, you know, just
- 6:07Speaker 3: the little patties those are easy, you know, the kind
- 6:11Speaker 3: of remind me of Greg, you know, the ones that
- 6:13Speaker 3: that you like at the resort, like little Triangle Wheah,
- 6:16Speaker 3: like the potato cakes right because they're they're so crispy
- 6:19Speaker 3: on the outside, but the inside is just perfectly. It's
- 6:22Speaker 3: a nice uh. It's nice contrast love texture.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Yeah, okay.
- 6:29Speaker 3: Best lunch and dinner went to Buttered Chicken with Bosmadi rice.
- 6:34Speaker 4: It's really good good.
- 6:36Speaker 3: You know, I don't do Indian curry right, and it's
- 6:40Speaker 3: total restaurant team. I don't like butter buttered chickens. Got
- 6:43Speaker 3: I thought buttered chicken had curry in it?
- 6:45Speaker 4: No, I don't think.
- 6:46Speaker 1: Sure, it probably does. It's not curry chicken.
- 6:50Speaker 3: Having had it a thousand times, what you would hate it? Yeah,
- 6:53Speaker 3: because we made them as. There's a place right by
- 6:56Speaker 3: our house, Gina. Yeah, it's a place called the Curve.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I haven't tried that. I mean it's a.
- 7:02Speaker 3: Pizza place and they have all kinds of like different people.
- 7:05Speaker 3: You can get standard pizzas there and they had you know,
- 7:07Speaker 3: we're you know, we usually get like this barbecue chicken pizza.
- 7:10Speaker 3: But they made the mistake and they used the butter chicken.
- 7:13Speaker 3: Oh damn with the barbecue sauce everything else it was.
- 7:17Speaker 3: It just tasted straight up curry.
- 7:19Speaker 4: Yeah, that doesn't sound good anyway.
- 7:20Speaker 3: So that was the number one thing. I know a
- 7:22Speaker 3: lot of people love that stuff, just not for me.
- 7:23Speaker 3: But steam pork and ginger soup dumplings and chicken tiki
- 7:26Speaker 3: masala in the best Lunch and Dinner category. The favorite
- 7:31Speaker 3: sweet treat the Sublime ice cream sandwiches.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Yeah, so freaking good.
- 7:37Speaker 3: Number one in the dessert category for another year, so
- 7:40Speaker 3: you know they're good. The best snack went to the
- 7:42Speaker 3: garlic butter Irish potato chips.
- 7:45Speaker 4: Okay, sounds DELISHO heard of it.
- 7:47Speaker 3: They were a favorite in the new category and they've
- 7:50Speaker 3: worked their way into everybody's hearts to be the top
- 7:53Speaker 3: snack in the store.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Yeah, they're new.
- 7:55Speaker 8: I've seen them everywhere right now, but I had never
- 7:57Speaker 8: seen them before.
- 7:58Speaker 9: They're there right now.
- 7:59Speaker 3: Yeah, the the garlic butter Irish potato chip.
- 8:02Speaker 1: That sounds good.
- 8:03Speaker 3: Favorite non food product one to the brazil nut body butter.
- 8:08Speaker 3: So I don't know what you'd use that for.
- 8:10Speaker 4: But okay, marrot on yourself.
- 8:12Speaker 6: The favorite non food Trader Joe's items is these little
- 8:15Speaker 6: bottles of lemon scented spray and it's perfect for the bathroom.
- 8:20Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, like a poof fyrie kind of thing like
- 8:23Speaker 3: poop spray. Okay, good. Yeah, the favorite Sarah told you,
- 8:26Speaker 3: the orange chicken, the fried rice. The other thing that
- 8:29Speaker 3: we love from there. You know those a little like
- 8:33Speaker 3: cheese and cracker things used to have the little plastic
- 8:35Speaker 3: like paddle that would use. Yeah, but they have some
- 8:40Speaker 3: snack thing there and I forget exactly what it's called.
- 8:43Speaker 3: They have a couple of different ones. There's one where
- 8:45Speaker 3: it's uh, these little what do they call those, like
- 8:47Speaker 3: for those those little kind of their cookies, but they're
- 8:49Speaker 3: like round and rolling, yeah, something like that. And there's
- 8:52Speaker 3: a little peanut butter, so it's in that same kind
- 8:54Speaker 3: of package. Those little things come on the side and
- 8:56Speaker 3: you dip them in the peanut butter. It's chocolate and
- 8:58Speaker 3: peanut butter. That's really good. They also make peanut butter
- 9:00Speaker 3: and jelly. One where it's those little things and you
- 9:03Speaker 3: dip them because they have peanut butter in the middle
- 9:04Speaker 3: of the little cracker things, and he dipped them in
- 9:07Speaker 3: the jelly. No problem with THEMS is good.
- 9:10Speaker 7: I like the candied walnuts. You know, they're pretty much
- 9:13Speaker 7: walnuts with sugar.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Sugar.
- 9:15Speaker 3: Then and then we also get the dark chocolate peanut buttercups.
- 9:20Speaker 4: The mini yeah face yeah.
- 9:24Speaker 3: All right, well, I definitely want to try a couple
- 9:25Speaker 3: of these things, like the steam pork and ginger soup dumplings.
- 9:28Speaker 3: And I want to try the what was the other one,
- 9:31Speaker 3: garlic butter. Yeah, the garlic butter Irish potato chips.
- 9:34Speaker 1: So right now, eight.
- 9:36Speaker 3: Seven four, what's the phone number? Now that we're starving,
- 9:39Speaker 3: please hit us some of the text. We're going to
- 9:41Speaker 3: go raid the vending machine. Medicin can get himself his
- 9:46Speaker 3: favorite thing out of the break room downstairs, or the
- 9:48Speaker 3: little like charcuterie, like like gas station charcuterie.
- 9:53Speaker 1: They're hill Shire. Yeah, dude, they're like so classy. Yeah,
- 10:00Speaker 1: I love them all right?
- 10:01Speaker 3: Eight seven seven forty four? What he text over to
- 10:03Speaker 3: two two nine eighty seven more Woody Show next, Hang on,

- 10:58Speaker 3: get to the birthdays of the borno birthday here in
- 11:00Speaker 3: just a few minutes. A few things happening in the
- 11:02Speaker 3: world of entertainment. Some reality show news for Menace. What
- 11:06Speaker 3: Netflix has a new dating show coming to March. It's
- 11:09Speaker 3: called Age of Attraction. And this is where contestants they
- 11:13Speaker 3: rage in age from twenty two to fifty nine years old.
- 11:17Speaker 3: But the thing is is nobody knows anyone's true age. Oh,
- 11:22Speaker 3: so they keep that a secret, so it could be
- 11:24Speaker 3: like a twenty two year old and a fifty nine
- 11:26Speaker 3: fifty Yeah.
- 11:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:28Speaker 3: It premieres on Netflix on March eleventh. Obviously, there are
- 11:31Speaker 3: some people complaining about it. They're like, oh, the age
- 11:33Speaker 3: of Epstein and these are all consenting adults.
- 11:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:37Speaker 5: Yeah, this is like love is blind, like when you
- 11:38Speaker 5: don't know something about a person.
- 11:40Speaker 4: It's fun, it's fun to watch.
- 11:41Speaker 3: Yeah, and twenty two is a legal adult absolutely drinking
- 11:46Speaker 3: age and beyond.
- 11:47Speaker 1: You can vote and drink. You're fine.
- 11:49Speaker 3: The new trend of music is cigarette mom rockarette.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:54Speaker 3: So artists like Alanis Moore, said, Melissa Ethridge, Concrete Blonde,
- 11:58Speaker 3: Tracy Chapman, Fiona app Avri, Lavine Indigo Girls. Yeah, it's pink,
- 12:03Speaker 3: so think like like Lilith Fair. They're saying, like gritty,
- 12:07Speaker 3: mostly female alternative rock from the nineties or two thousands.
- 12:11Speaker 3: There are even a bunch I guess TikTok Spotify playlists
- 12:13Speaker 3: that are devoted to us.
- 12:14Speaker 1: Now.
- 12:15Speaker 3: It's kind of like the the antithesis of the dad rock,
- 12:19Speaker 3: like divorced dad rocks, like the postcrunch hard rock stuff,
- 12:22Speaker 3: so Nickelback and Creed and and things like that.
- 12:26Speaker 1: It's funny that.
- 12:26Speaker 5: It's called cigarette mom rock because cigarette mom rock.
- 12:29Speaker 4: That's been trending.
- 12:30Speaker 1: I've noticed that.
- 12:31Speaker 5: I'm sure I'm getting targeted on Instagram with like women
- 12:33Speaker 5: my age being like how much do we.
- 12:35Speaker 4: All miss cigarettes? That's been like a thing lately.
- 12:38Speaker 7: I watched a documentary on Lilith Fair and I don't
- 12:41Speaker 7: think it would do well today.
- 12:43Speaker 4: Yeah, you would be.
- 12:44Speaker 7: Really excited about it, but there was if you watched it,
- 12:46Speaker 7: there was so much internal fighting.
- 12:48Speaker 3: Oh really yeah, all the cashupon ladies. Joe Rogan says
- 12:52Speaker 3: that he wasn't nominated for a Golden Globe because he
- 12:54Speaker 3: didn't pay the five hundred dollars fee to submit his
- 12:57Speaker 3: podcast for consideration. We are really yeah, he just said,
- 13:00Speaker 3: I don't want to be a part of that, Like
- 13:02Speaker 3: I don't know. There are so many industry things and
- 13:07Speaker 3: we get the emails from because you know who it's
- 13:08Speaker 3: a big deal to, like our managers and stuff like
- 13:11Speaker 3: sure the company muckety MUCKs, like oh, did you guys
- 13:14Speaker 3: submit anything for the for the NAB Awards, like the
- 13:17Speaker 3: natural broadcasters, Like oh, hey, Gina grad, you should submit
- 13:25Speaker 3: something so you know you can be considered for a
- 13:28Speaker 3: Gracie Award, Like totally, yeah, here's the thing. This show
- 13:31Speaker 3: is never gonna win any kind of award, and you
- 13:35Speaker 3: know why because we're not not the industry suck up
- 13:39Speaker 3: kind of show. There are so many people that are
- 13:41Speaker 3: more worried about getting those awards than they are doing
- 13:44Speaker 3: stuff that gets them ratings for like their actual job.
- 13:47Speaker 3: They're doing things for the audience. They're more concerned with
- 13:50Speaker 3: getting ratings in the hallway, and those are the people.
- 13:52Speaker 3: They win all kinds of awards, but then they get
- 13:54Speaker 3: no kind of real ratings.
- 13:55Speaker 4: It's not reflected numbers.
- 13:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:57Speaker 3: So, I mean, you know, you'd say what you want
- 13:59Speaker 3: about Joe, but I agree with them like I would
- 14:02Speaker 3: never I would never pay money to submit our show
- 14:07Speaker 3: for some type of acknowledgment, Like you're begging for acknowledgment
- 14:11Speaker 3: that there's something so pathetic about it.
- 14:13Speaker 4: It's kind of like a gofund me, Like don't do
- 14:15Speaker 4: your own go fund radio.
- 14:16Speaker 3: Everybody had me hyped up last year because they kept
- 14:20Speaker 3: telling me that I was getting nominated for the Radio
- 14:23Speaker 3: Hall of Fame. Like, oh no, dude, they had it.
- 14:27Speaker 3: These are people that are in the know. They're like
- 14:28Speaker 3: on the voting committee and they're involved in the you know,
- 14:31Speaker 3: the conversations and stuff, and I'm like, get out of here.
- 14:34Speaker 3: I said, do that. First of all, that's never gonna happen.
- 14:36Speaker 3: And even if it did happen, I'm never gonna like
- 14:39Speaker 3: win because there are people people in the industry like
- 14:42Speaker 3: we are not the radio shows. Radio show where the listeners, Yeah,
- 14:48Speaker 3: it's always the way it's been and whatever. And so
- 14:51Speaker 3: enough people had told me that and I was like, hmm,
- 14:53Speaker 3: maybe maybe I will. And then it didn't happen, and
- 14:57Speaker 3: I go, of course it didn't myself of like the
- 15:00Speaker 3: whole reason I knew in the first place. Yeah, but
- 15:02Speaker 3: like if we had to submit something for that, I
- 15:04Speaker 3: would never do that. No, that's embarrassing. Now you better
- 15:07Speaker 3: believe if I ever do get nominated, I'm gonna make
- 15:08Speaker 3: everybody on this show and everybody listening to show vote.
- 15:12Speaker 3: Oh for sure, I'll use it to my advantage. It's like,
- 15:15Speaker 3: there's another guy in the company.
- 15:16Speaker 1: He was.
- 15:19Speaker 3: What was the show Dancing with the Stars.
- 15:21Speaker 1: Uh huh.
- 15:21Speaker 3: He's a he does like a country show for our company.
- 15:25Speaker 3: Is named Bobby Bobby Bones, And he was on Dancing
- 15:28Speaker 3: with the Stars and he got all the listeners to
- 15:29Speaker 3: vote for him, and it created this whole thing where
- 15:31Speaker 3: it's like, uh, cause I guess he's not a great
- 15:33Speaker 3: dancer or something, and so I don't watch that show,
- 15:36Speaker 3: so you don't ask me. I can't tell you who's
- 15:38Speaker 3: good who's not. Anyway, but like he won the entire show,
- 15:42Speaker 3: He won the big trophy and everything, and then it
- 15:45Speaker 3: got to like people who have been talking so much crap,
- 15:47Speaker 3: I guess he sent the trophy back. And then now
- 15:51Speaker 3: Tom Bergeran's like, no, no, no, no, you should and
- 15:52Speaker 3: he wants to like hand deliver it to him and stuff.
- 15:54Speaker 3: But hey, you better believe I'm gonna use if we're
- 15:58Speaker 3: doing the show for the audience all the time, you
- 16:00Speaker 3: better believe that if we actually do get nominated for
- 16:03Speaker 3: something we vote for, you're going to vote. Please bust
- 16:06Speaker 3: out the tucks and the tails. Yeah, exactly, all right.
- 16:09Speaker 3: Rob Gronkowski says that single Tom Brady's more fun than
- 16:12Speaker 3: marry Tom Brady.
- 16:13Speaker 1: I mean really yeah.
- 16:19Speaker 3: Gronk says that he thought that Brady was quote lame
- 16:24Speaker 3: when he first started playing with him on the New
- 16:25Speaker 3: England Patriots, well because he was just laser focus. Yeah,
- 16:28Speaker 3: and then he says, but now after he got divorced,
- 16:31Speaker 3: from Giselle. Brady's been going out every weekend and Gronk
- 16:33Speaker 3: thinks is sweet. Gronk says he has flipped the script
- 16:36Speaker 3: and it rules. But I don't think it's because of
- 16:39Speaker 3: the divorces. Again, it's because he's not playing. He focused
- 16:43Speaker 3: on football, Gronk said, when I he goes, I was
- 16:47Speaker 3: single when I first got in the league and Tom
- 16:49Speaker 3: was married, and I was like, Hey, this guy's lame.
- 16:52Speaker 3: He'll never go out with me. Now he's going out
- 16:54Speaker 3: every weekend and I'm at home with my girl. So
- 16:57Speaker 3: that now Gronk is real because.
- 16:59Speaker 7: Bronk's don't even have as parties and they're the best parties.
- 17:02Speaker 7: Is not during the super Bowl or anything.
- 17:04Speaker 1: What are you ladies?
- 17:06Speaker 3: You guys, they are making a movie about chia pets.
- 17:11Speaker 4: Movie.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Yeah, we have officially run out of ideas, right.
- 17:16Speaker 4: The emojis and now we have chia pets.
- 17:18Speaker 3: So now here's the thing. It's not like there's a
- 17:20Speaker 3: I don't even think there's a script, but basically this
- 17:21Speaker 3: company acquired the media rights to Chia pet and they
- 17:24Speaker 3: say they're going to make an animated series or a
- 17:28Speaker 3: movie about chia pets. Now I get it, Like if
- 17:31Speaker 3: you can create a cartoon that kids get into and
- 17:34Speaker 3: then they want chia pets, and that's like you're gonna
- 17:36Speaker 3: be a big money maker to then sell tro the
- 17:39Speaker 3: chia pets. But who the hell needs a chia pet movie.
- 17:42Speaker 5: I've had two chia pets. I've been gifted to chia pets.
- 17:44Speaker 5: I've never once been able to make one grow. Really,
- 17:46Speaker 5: and they're supposed to be like.
- 17:48Speaker 1: Yeah, just smear it on.
- 17:50Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 17:51Speaker 3: Ones I thought were funny were the ones that were
- 17:52Speaker 3: like busts of people, so it was like, you know,
- 17:55Speaker 3: like a Bob Ross fro or like if you could
- 17:58Speaker 3: do like a like a dirty porn or something like
- 18:00Speaker 3: where it's like just full bush, like full bush chiappet.
- 18:04Speaker 1: That's idea.
- 18:05Speaker 3: And then beck is releasing an album of covers and rarities. Okay, yeah,
- 18:09Speaker 3: a couple of things there, Greg Gory, what you got.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Well, menace?
- 18:12Speaker 6: You love giving gifts, and there's a perfect gift that
- 18:14Speaker 6: you can give to your friend half Baked. Okay, it'll
- 18:16Speaker 6: only set you back eleven million dollars and that would
- 18:19Speaker 6: be Hulk Hogan's house, Oh clear Water Beach, Florida.
- 18:25Speaker 1: Were he as long as Nick Hogan his son.
- 18:28Speaker 7: Isn't there who I hate with the passion of a
- 18:31Speaker 7: thousand songs.
- 18:32Speaker 3: You're speaking way too fast, yeah, and coherently.
- 18:36Speaker 6: So that house is now in the market six months
- 18:39Speaker 6: after Hulk died. He lived in there from twenty twelve
- 18:42Speaker 6: until he died. Fifty four hundred square feet. It's right
- 18:45Speaker 6: on the sand. Five bedroom, five and a half bathrooms.
- 18:47Speaker 6: Take the master bedroom. Oh sorry, primary suite one thousand
- 18:52Speaker 6: square feet.
- 18:53Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 18:54Speaker 6: House, Yeah, designer kitchen, glass fireplace, and an elevator. The
- 18:59Speaker 6: full asking ten million, nine and eighty nine thousand bucks.
- 19:03Speaker 7: I mean, the house seems really cool and I would
- 19:05Speaker 7: take it. But one of his items that he did
- 19:08Speaker 7: have that I would love. I don't know if you
- 19:09Speaker 7: ever saw the Dodge viper that he had that was
- 19:12Speaker 7: all bogganed out, I think.
- 19:13Speaker 1: So it was pretty awesome. Okay, I had like the
- 19:16Speaker 1: whole Culgi logo on and stuff.
- 19:18Speaker 3: Gina grad what you got.
- 19:20Speaker 5: So all the guys who want to date Sydney Sweeney,
- 19:22Speaker 5: you need to listen to this because I know exactly
- 19:24Speaker 5: what she's looking for officially. So she just did this
- 19:27Speaker 5: interview and she said her ideal guy is athletic and
- 19:30Speaker 5: outgoing and funny and someone confident enough to keep up
- 19:33Speaker 5: with her world. Oh and also down to do things
- 19:36Speaker 5: like skydiving or climbing mountains. And she also admits that
- 19:40Speaker 5: her tastes have change. She wanted a guy that was
- 19:43Speaker 5: playful and cuddly, but then she realized she could just
- 19:45Speaker 5: get that in a dog, so now she wants a confident,
- 19:48Speaker 5: rugged joy.
- 19:49Speaker 1: She's not wrong.
- 19:50Speaker 3: Yeah, same goes for the fellows though. You guys, we
- 19:52Speaker 3: don't need girlfriends. You know that that just love that
- 19:57Speaker 3: you get just unconditionally from from a good little indescribable Yeah,
- 20:03Speaker 3: and then you can just go get prostitutes and stuff
- 20:05Speaker 3: for the other you know what I'm saying, take care
- 20:06Speaker 3: of business and should easy. It's way cheaper than having
- 20:10Speaker 3: like an actual wife or girlfriend. Well, man's what you got?
- 20:15Speaker 7: Well is Bad Bunny Greg Gory Because Bad Bunny was
- 20:18Speaker 7: doing some interviews. Of course he's ramping up for the
- 20:21Speaker 7: Super Bowl, he's doing the halftime show, and he was asked,
- 20:24Speaker 7: what is just the future hole for you, Bad Bunny,
- 20:26Speaker 7: and he said, retirement. I just want to live in
- 20:30Speaker 7: Puerto Rico and eat sandwiches.
- 20:31Speaker 3: Who does Hell, yeah, that's everybody's goal, is I.
- 20:35Speaker 1: Mean, is that your future Greg eating sandwiches.
- 20:38Speaker 6: Not sandwiches, but eating stuff and doing nothing. Yeah, that's heaven.
- 20:43Speaker 1: I can just imagine having a rat house right Puerto Rico.
- 20:46Speaker 7: You have bad bunny money and money, and then you
- 20:49Speaker 7: would probably get delicious bad bunny money.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Yeah, bad bunny money and delicious sandwiches.
- 20:54Speaker 3: I would have sushi seven days a week.
- 20:56Speaker 6: I would have not just the box wine, but like
- 20:59Speaker 6: I would cut to my is like the most but
- 21:01Speaker 6: like this massive stand up box like ray.
- 21:04Speaker 3: Couldn't you have sushi seven days a week now? I
- 21:06Speaker 3: mean it's right there in the grocery store. How how
- 21:10Speaker 3: unatable is you?
- 21:11Speaker 1: Know? My luck?
- 21:11Speaker 6: I'd get mercury poisoning. But in a perfect world, yes
- 21:15Speaker 6: I can.

- 23:38Speaker 3: it is the Woody Show. It's Monday. A couple of
- 23:41Speaker 3: things here real quick. I know, getting motivated on a
- 23:44Speaker 3: Monday or pretty much any day can be can be roughed,
- 23:47Speaker 3: especially for people who don't get enough sleep. And we're
- 23:50Speaker 3: always talking about them what you could do for money
- 23:53Speaker 3: or different jobs you didn't even know existed. But what
- 23:55Speaker 3: about a professional sleeper?
- 23:58Speaker 1: Oh my god, sign me up.
- 23:59Speaker 3: There are people who get paid to sleep.
- 24:01Speaker 1: Yeah, but are people watching you the whole time?
- 24:03Speaker 3: Yeah, but who cares? You're ready, you're a professional. It's
- 24:06Speaker 3: like you could play golf well recreationally and then people.
- 24:09Speaker 1: Pay if you're good at it, pay you.
- 24:11Speaker 3: To play golf, and then people are watching.
- 24:12Speaker 1: I don't think I could fall asleep if people were
- 24:14Speaker 1: just watching. Well, I couldn't have wood.
- 24:16Speaker 3: I mean I could sleep on a plane. I can sleep.
- 24:18Speaker 5: Oh yeah, when I was nude modeling in college, I
- 24:20Speaker 5: would fall asleep and then they would wake me up
- 24:22Speaker 5: at the end.
- 24:23Speaker 4: Really yeah.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:23Speaker 3: Professional sleepers they help with scientific research and clients may
- 24:28Speaker 3: be like hotels that and mattress manufacturers, like they hire
- 24:32Speaker 3: these professional sleepers.
- 24:34Speaker 1: Oh, and they report back. Yeah.
- 24:35Speaker 3: Sleep research facilities, pharmaceutical companies, NASA they also use professional sleepers. Oh,
- 24:42Speaker 3: for like weird places sleep and you can do nineteen
- 24:45Speaker 3: thousand dollars for anyone willing to stay in bed for
- 24:49Speaker 3: at least two months.
- 24:50Speaker 4: Oh, I didn't know there was fundings for that.
- 24:52Speaker 3: Not do that to research how the body changes in weightlessness.
- 24:57Speaker 3: That's that's one thing that NASA does. But there's all
- 24:59Speaker 3: these little things like oh, hey, we're gonna have you
- 25:01Speaker 3: come by and Uh, we're gonna have you spend the
- 25:02Speaker 3: weekend at our hotel and tell us about one night
- 25:05Speaker 3: you're gonna sleep in this room on this mattress, another
- 25:07Speaker 3: night in this room.
- 25:09Speaker 4: Problem.
- 25:10Speaker 3: Yeah, that's pretty cool. Two months and then, uh, here
- 25:13Speaker 3: is a silver lining of being fat, you guys. Researchers
- 25:16Speaker 3: have found that being fat helps protect you better if
- 25:20Speaker 3: you're a pedestrian and a car hits you.
- 25:22Speaker 1: Oh that makes sense.
- 25:23Speaker 4: Actually, then the padding.
- 25:26Speaker 3: Yeah, injured pedestrians who are overweight have less severe injuries
- 25:30Speaker 3: than skinnier counterparts.
- 25:32Speaker 1: Great news.
- 25:33Speaker 3: Yeah, so you know good.
- 25:34Speaker 5: It's the same thing with like old people who are
- 25:36Speaker 5: fat and they protect those hips. You know, you don't
- 25:37Speaker 5: want to bust a hip.
- 25:38Speaker 1: Yeah right.
- 25:39Speaker 3: Or check those huge cans who goes to face plant,
- 25:41Speaker 3: she bounces right back up. That used to be those things.
- 25:44Speaker 3: Did you have those as a kid. It was just
- 25:46Speaker 3: like a not a punching bag, but like yeah, right,
- 25:50Speaker 3: oh you have like a sand bag kind of thing
- 25:52Speaker 3: at the bottom of it and then you punch it
- 25:54Speaker 3: and just stand right back up.
- 25:55Speaker 1: Yeah, I love that thing.
- 25:57Speaker 3: Check with huge cans falls forward, Yeah, bounces right back.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Lucky in so many ways.

- 26:10Speaker 3: So you get home from work, you PLoP yourself down
- 26:13Speaker 3: the couch, you watch some TV. Oh yeah, unwinding in
- 26:16Speaker 3: front of the television can deliver, you know, a little recharge,
- 26:18Speaker 3: but feeling guilty about doing that negates the positive effects.
- 26:22Speaker 3: A lot of people feel guilty about just sitting around
- 26:25Speaker 3: and being lazy. They always have to be in motion
- 26:27Speaker 3: and doing something, being productive unplugged. Yeah, I find that
- 26:31Speaker 3: that mindset to be pretty annoying.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Oh god, you would hate me on the weekends.
- 26:34Speaker 3: No, no, no, no, no, no. I'm saying that people who
- 26:36Speaker 3: feel like they always have to be you know, they
- 26:38Speaker 3: can't just sit and watch TV.
- 26:39Speaker 6: No, that's what I mean. On the weekends, I feel
- 26:41Speaker 6: guilty about it. During the week fine with it. Yeah, weekend,
- 26:45Speaker 6: if I find myself just hanging out watching TV, I
- 26:48Speaker 6: get mad at myself and I.
- 26:49Speaker 3: Have to I thought that was like your ultimate goal
- 26:51Speaker 3: and playing Yeah, to do nothing.
- 26:52Speaker 6: No, I like doing stuff. But during the week, no guilty.
- 26:56Speaker 6: You can gotta do something.
- 26:57Speaker 3: Yeah, so, you know, but it's you know, don't feel
- 27:00Speaker 3: guilty about it. Yeah, just on the Just enjoy it
- 27:02Speaker 3: and then that's good for you. Say they're saying, that's
- 27:04Speaker 3: a good thing. Go enjoy that episode that TV show
- 27:08Speaker 3: you've been wanting to. You'll be happier, you'll be more relaxed.
- 27:11Speaker 1: So don't fight it.
- 27:12Speaker 3: Yeah, just be lazy. Be lasers on the couchy, Yeah,
- 27:16Speaker 3: be lasers on the couch. All your tasks, Paula exactly,
- 27:19Speaker 3: and then get fat being lasers on the couch and
- 27:22Speaker 3: you'll be safe and you'll be better if you ever
- 27:24Speaker 3: get hit by a car as a pedestrian. Say, I
- 27:26Speaker 3: think we just figured it out life. Yeah, eight seven

- 28:17Speaker 3: thrilled last week when you know, you were throwing up NonStop.
- 28:20Speaker 3: I'm like, great, this is gonna be some kind of
- 28:22Speaker 3: like stomach bug thing that we're all going to get
- 28:24Speaker 3: if I started puk and I was going.
- 28:25Speaker 1: To cut your throat. No, that was just like a
- 28:28Speaker 1: food issue, I know.
- 28:29Speaker 3: But after you talk more about I'm like, all right,
- 28:31Speaker 3: this doesn't sound like actual like stomach fluid.
- 28:34Speaker 4: Doesn't get caught and go around at all.
- 28:36Speaker 1: Doesn't know that it was coming out of both ends. Yeah,
- 28:39Speaker 1: I know.
- 28:39Speaker 3: I thought it was you know, like you said, food poisoning. Yeah,
- 28:42Speaker 3: what'd you play on? Fruit?
- 28:45Speaker 1: Fruit?
- 28:46Speaker 12: Fruit?
- 28:46Speaker 1: It was my body was a reject.

- 29:32Speaker 14: hard for two or three weeks.
- 29:33Speaker 9: And at the end of that, January is just like
- 29:35Speaker 9: a busy month.
- 29:35Speaker 13: So shout out to y'all. Giving up my jeers. Though
- 29:39Speaker 13: I wish Greg was here for this because it's so gay.
- 29:42Speaker 9: He would make so fun of me.
- 29:43Speaker 1: Oh she's getting a bag.
- 29:46Speaker 9: I'm becoming so basic. I'm not going to cry.
- 29:47Speaker 1: No, shut up. That's pretty good.
- 29:50Speaker 9: I'm becoming so basic. Look what I have.
- 29:52Speaker 1: Yeah, that's pink clothes bucket.
- 29:56Speaker 9: The mini one.
- 29:59Speaker 3: Did you make a special trip just to get that?
- 30:01Speaker 3: Not me, so somebody? Okay, Well if somebody gives it
- 30:06Speaker 3: to you, is that So for.

- 30:17Speaker 9: I love it.
- 30:18Speaker 3: Okay, there's there's two things here at number one. You
- 30:21Speaker 3: didn't go to get it yourself, so tell us it

- 30:26Speaker 9: So I heard that. I thought they were cute.
- 30:32Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 30:32Speaker 3: It'd be different. She made a special trip to Lows
- 30:35Speaker 3: to get one of these.
- 30:36Speaker 10: Would it.
- 30:36Speaker 8: I've never got a Stanley mug in my life?
- 30:39Speaker 1: Buy them for me? Oh wow, that's supposed to be
- 30:44Speaker 1: a flex gifts.
- 30:46Speaker 8: But you still I mean, if you're still using it
- 30:49Speaker 8: and loving it, you're still basic.
- 30:51Speaker 5: But I agree that if Morgan was like, you know,
- 30:53Speaker 5: I've got to stop home and get one of these
- 30:55Speaker 5: Lows buckets before I get home.
- 30:57Speaker 1: I mean, that would be an extra basics.
- 30:58Speaker 13: Just the fact that it sits in my house, and
- 31:00Speaker 13: I'm like, man, I'm becoming one of those.
- 31:01Speaker 14: Girls walk through the decision the decision tree, as they say.
- 31:05Speaker 4: On this one, Morgan, what about it?
- 31:06Speaker 14: You are supposedly into uh you know, UFC fighting.

- 31:13Speaker 14: Yeah, they supposed supposedly you're in all that stuff. But
- 31:16Speaker 14: you're out here buying pink buckets for.
- 31:18Speaker 4: What a She didn't buy it.
- 31:19Speaker 3: She didn't buy you.
- 31:20Speaker 4: Accepting pink, excuse me, thank you?
- 31:23Speaker 9: And I can't explain it.
- 31:24Speaker 13: And I think that's the basic bit of me, is
- 31:26Speaker 13: like something about it is just so cute.
- 31:27Speaker 3: It's somebody and somebody gives a dude, somebody gives that
- 31:30Speaker 3: to her. What let's let's go through the thought tree.
- 31:33Speaker 1: Gift immediately regifted to same.
- 31:37Speaker 9: That's true first, well, no, second, ald.
- 31:39Speaker 1: No, that's how the flow goes.
- 31:41Speaker 3: Like somebody hands something to you, what do you say?
- 31:45Speaker 3: I would say, say thank you.
- 31:46Speaker 14: I would do I would pull a Matus when he
- 31:48Speaker 14: gets gift cards or greeting cards and I say thank
- 31:51Speaker 14: you to their face then I and then when they
- 31:52Speaker 14: walk away throw it in the trash.
- 31:54Speaker 1: My god, no, wonder what is it? What are your plan?
- 31:59Speaker 4: Speaking of decision trees, are your future plans for your
- 32:01Speaker 4: pink clothes book?
- 32:01Speaker 9: That's what I was going to ask you all, Like,
- 32:03Speaker 9: what do I put in it?
- 32:03Speaker 1: Have ideas?
- 32:04Speaker 4: I was going to say, make a little plant holder?
- 32:07Speaker 9: Okay, I was looking like herbs in it, coins or something.
- 32:10Speaker 4: No, make put like a little like cactus or something.
- 32:12Speaker 1: Oh that's cute, would be so cute.
- 32:14Speaker 9: Okay, Well, I'll keep it all up there.
- 32:15Speaker 1: You getting baby baby fever over there.
- 32:17Speaker 3: No, Sports got one in his studio over there. It's
- 32:19Speaker 3: it's over there, like between him and dumb ass Tyler.
- 32:22Speaker 3: I noticed it the other day when I was sitting there.
- 32:24Speaker 3: They have a bunch of like pens. That's a blue
- 32:26Speaker 3: one because they're man they're menly, they're menally in there.
- 32:29Speaker 1: Yeah, you know.
- 32:30Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a nice little blue bucket holds everything. I'm
- 32:33Speaker 3: not sure who brought that in, who was responsible for
- 32:35Speaker 3: getting that, but yeah, they got pens and stuff.
- 32:37Speaker 1: I think that's what it's made for pens.
- 32:39Speaker 3: Yeah, but I mean it's meant for whatever you want
- 32:40Speaker 3: to put in it.
- 32:41Speaker 9: Oh yeah, just sitting like this is cute.
- 32:46Speaker 3: So that's your jeers. You seem pretty pretty psyched about it.
- 32:49Speaker 9: My jeers is that I'm like becoming basic.
- 32:51Speaker 3: That bothers you.
- 32:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 32:54Speaker 9: I want to be different and welcome, just.
- 32:57Speaker 3: Like everybody else.
- 32:58Speaker 9: I know, right, I thought about it.
- 33:01Speaker 4: Yeah, a big dumb hat should be watching Hallmark movies.
- 33:04Speaker 3: Yeah, Gina grad cheers and jeers.
- 33:08Speaker 5: Well, jeers, I got another in constant contact with the
- 33:11Speaker 5: realtor dealing with my dad's house, and they keep finding
- 33:13Speaker 5: stuff and they don't know what to do with it.
- 33:15Speaker 5: And I just I got another text saying, hey, we
- 33:17Speaker 5: found a bunch of your dad's clothes and his books.
- 33:19Speaker 1: Do you want them?
- 33:20Speaker 5: And I said, oh, absolutely, you know, something like clothes
- 33:23Speaker 5: and something they've wore. It's just you know, it makes
- 33:25Speaker 5: you feel closer to them.
- 33:26Speaker 1: Uh.
- 33:27Speaker 5: Then I get a follow up text, Well, the junk
- 33:29Speaker 5: removal people and the fumigators are here and it's all
- 33:32Speaker 5: covered with rat crap and sleeves. And I said, well
- 33:36Speaker 5: that changes things.
- 33:38Speaker 1: So what do I do? Take it down to the laundromat.
- 33:43Speaker 3: You can hand them something that they would even hand them.
- 33:46Speaker 3: You take it, You bring it to the laundry mat.
- 33:48Speaker 3: You put it in the stuff regular public uses.
- 33:50Speaker 4: Not like a dry cleaner.
- 33:52Speaker 1: Don't bring it to your house.
- 33:52Speaker 10: And do that.
- 33:53Speaker 3: Yeah, bring it to the laundroy mat, wash it there,
- 33:55Speaker 3: nice hot water, you know, and then that way you
- 33:58Speaker 3: at least have the clothes, I mean, the.
- 33:59Speaker 7: Yeah, the books and like if there's got a gap, yeah,
- 34:03Speaker 7: they're like saturated doorstop in rat fee season stuff.
- 34:07Speaker 1: Or I mean check on the books. They might be
- 34:09Speaker 1: worse something.
- 34:10Speaker 3: Or just just you know, I mean, how how much
- 34:11Speaker 3: of the clothing do you keep. I mean, just a
- 34:13Speaker 3: couple of things.
- 34:13Speaker 5: Right, just to give me a pair of pants and
- 34:15Speaker 5: a sport jacket, because that's you know, just something.
- 34:17Speaker 8: So for fleas, by the way, if you take them
- 34:20Speaker 8: and just let them sit and soak in water for
- 34:23Speaker 8: forty eight hours, all the fleas will be dead and
- 34:26Speaker 8: the eggs or if there are any eggs on it
- 34:28Speaker 8: or whatever gone.
- 34:28Speaker 4: You can go down fleas.
- 34:30Speaker 8: It takes days, though, Like it's not just immediate.
- 34:32Speaker 1: You can't just wash it. You have to let it
- 34:34Speaker 1: sit in a soak, even in hot water.
- 34:37Speaker 3: I watched everything in like hot water, hot soapy water.
- 34:40Speaker 8: I mean super hot water might work. But you could
- 34:44Speaker 8: ruin the clothes that way, depending on what it is.
- 34:47Speaker 1: It's just belong to her dad.
- 34:49Speaker 7: You don't want the if they shrink or well, he's
- 34:52Speaker 7: not gonna wear them.
- 34:53Speaker 5: That's true his suit ticket.
- 34:57Speaker 7: I say check on the books because I was recently
- 35:00Speaker 7: at the Venetian in Vegas and there's like, I don't know,
- 35:03Speaker 7: store in there for collectibles, and some dork was like
- 35:06Speaker 7: looking through the window and he's like, and there was a.
- 35:09Speaker 1: Book in there. He's like, oh, that's a.
- 35:10Speaker 7: Very rare first edition. Blah, blah blah book, and I'm like, oh, yeah,
- 35:14Speaker 7: like freaking out over a book. Oh okay, you're in Vegas, man,
- 35:17Speaker 7: you should be getting a shoeing over something, not a booker.
- 35:22Speaker 4: That is a thing to keep a Venetian it is.
- 35:25Speaker 7: No, it was a collectible store. Yeah, but it was
- 35:27Speaker 7: in the like in the front on display. So this
- 35:30Speaker 7: guy's joeing over. Yeah, weekend cheers and jeers.
- 35:34Speaker 4: Can I tell you my cheers real quick?
- 35:35Speaker 1: Oh?
- 35:35Speaker 4: I thought you that was That was not a cheer
- 35:38Speaker 4: my cheers.
- 35:39Speaker 5: Speaking of rat crap, I went to an Amazon bargain
- 35:44Speaker 5: sale where they like all the stuff that you return,
- 35:47Speaker 5: they just like throw it in a warehouse and everything
- 35:50Speaker 5: was six dollars and I got some crazy So first
- 35:53Speaker 5: of all, they had syphilis testing cats. Okay, they had
- 36:00Speaker 5: pet eurns. If anyone needs one, I hope you don't.
- 36:04Speaker 3: But I got six dollars. What a bargain.
- 36:05Speaker 5: You know how we were talking about how expensive Christmas
- 36:08Speaker 5: trees are. I got a full six and a half
- 36:10Speaker 5: foot tree that had never been taken out of the
- 36:12Speaker 5: box for six dollars. Next year, pre lit, I got headphones,
- 36:17Speaker 5: I got some shelves, and I got a special surprise
- 36:20Speaker 5: drink that I would like see best.
- 36:22Speaker 1: To try, but I have to go get it. It's
- 36:24Speaker 1: spicy purple.
- 36:25Speaker 5: Carrot drink, and I'd like you to tell me if
- 36:28Speaker 5: it's good, and hopefully it hasn't been opened before in return?
- 36:31Speaker 1: Is this like the legit sale at Amazon?
- 36:35Speaker 7: Or is it one of those like Rundown old strip
- 36:37Speaker 7: loll places where they have people running over each other for.
- 36:41Speaker 4: That one and it was super dirty and dusty.
- 36:43Speaker 1: And I can't wait to go back.
- 36:44Speaker 8: Where do you find out about one of these?
- 36:46Speaker 4: I saw it on Instagram.
- 36:48Speaker 7: Yeah, they're big on social where they're like, come on
- 36:51Speaker 7: down Saturday, blah blah blah.
- 36:52Speaker 3: That's exactly what I did, because you can buy the
- 36:56Speaker 3: unclaimed or whatever Amazon packages people to buy a bunch
- 36:59Speaker 3: of that stuff set up in the you know kind
- 37:01Speaker 3: of band.
- 37:03Speaker 4: Which I thought we were going to do that. I
- 37:04Speaker 4: thought we were going to get some some mystery boxes.
- 37:07Speaker 3: We we talked about a lot of things and then
- 37:08Speaker 3: and it gets brought up and then forgotten about.
- 37:10Speaker 1: Okay, let's do that.
- 37:11Speaker 4: Somebody organized. So it's called Prime Deals. Is that is
- 37:13Speaker 4: that the name? No, there's so like Amazon bargains, but
- 37:17Speaker 4: it's definitely not official.
- 37:20Speaker 1: These guys, you know, nipple pads.
- 37:22Speaker 4: They have huge pasta makers.
- 37:24Speaker 7: They're usually mechanics, but on this on Saturdays, they do this.
- 37:30Speaker 1: Off the back of a truck. I'm curious about it.
- 37:32Speaker 10: Ruled.
- 37:32Speaker 7: It was awesome about these guys go buy the paletts
- 37:36Speaker 7: and stuff and then they break it up and then
- 37:38Speaker 7: sell these boxes.
- 37:39Speaker 1: It was really fun. It's kind of cool.
- 37:40Speaker 3: Yeah, uh Sea Bass Weekend cheers and jeers.
- 37:43Speaker 14: Well, cheers to the people of the New York City
- 37:47Speaker 14: idiot or rod they did.
- 37:48Speaker 4: It was for folks who don't know. I've been to
- 37:50Speaker 4: a couple of these.
- 37:51Speaker 14: These are shopping cart based races slash bar crawls that
- 37:55Speaker 14: I've been to, one in Chicago and one in Phoenix,
- 37:57Speaker 14: and I finally this year, I said, I'm going to
- 37:59Speaker 14: the one in New York City, even though they always
- 38:00Speaker 14: had at the end of January. It's ass cold. Yeah,
- 38:04Speaker 14: it was a good fifteen degrees outside, so that sucked.
- 38:06Speaker 14: Like where it hurt to be outdoors that sort of thing.
- 38:08Speaker 1: It's sharp.
- 38:10Speaker 4: Yeah, it's like it's like your legs feel like you're
- 38:12Speaker 4: going to fall over.
- 38:13Speaker 3: Well, they were out.
- 38:14Speaker 14: There and they with the what you do in these
- 38:15Speaker 14: idiot rods, like I did a ride obviously, is you
- 38:17Speaker 14: do you take a shopping cart? Yeah, you theme it
- 38:20Speaker 14: out and dress it up. Fine, Maybe you have like
- 38:22Speaker 14: a nautical theme where there's a shark and you're dressed
- 38:24Speaker 14: in whatever, a fisherman gear. Or you have even office
- 38:28Speaker 14: theme where you got a copier and they load drinks
- 38:31Speaker 14: up under KRT and they walk around a neighborhood and
- 38:32Speaker 14: they you know, have merriment and cheer. Okay, which is
- 38:35Speaker 14: a goody It was which might you might think see
- 38:36Speaker 14: best that sounds too whimsical.
- 38:37Speaker 1: And uh yeah.
- 38:43Speaker 14: And stuff, But I love I love a bar crawl obviously.
- 38:47Speaker 14: I'm there for the shopping cart aspect of things in character. Yeah,
- 38:50Speaker 14: uh and so And I've been, like I said, three
- 38:51Speaker 14: of these things all over the country and this was
- 38:53Speaker 14: it was super fun. They did a really good job.
- 38:55Speaker 14: It was and I'm saying this despite the fact that
- 38:57Speaker 14: it was in Williamsburg in like the hipster episode of Brooklyn,
- 39:01Speaker 14: so they were all hipster douchebags. But but they did
- 39:04Speaker 14: a great job and had a real good time. Were
- 39:05Speaker 14: you a celebrity a few people, Yes, to a few people.
- 39:09Speaker 14: That's like your mecca and that's the whole idea obviously. Yeah,
- 39:13Speaker 14: so yeah, but they were. They were actually cool and fun.
- 39:16Speaker 14: They had a little you know, a little they go
- 39:19Speaker 14: to the bar.
- 39:20Speaker 4: Getting shot there.
- 39:21Speaker 1: It was a fantastic time. I recommend it again.
- 39:23Speaker 14: They've had him, they'ved him in San Francisco and Atlanta,
- 39:26Speaker 14: in LA but the only three again Phoenix, Chicago, and
- 39:29Speaker 14: New York City that are currently active. You can start
- 39:31Speaker 14: one in your town if you want to. He needed
- 39:33Speaker 14: a bunch of local like twenty and thirty somethings and
- 39:36Speaker 14: the years though is to again New York City, And
- 39:38Speaker 14: unfortunately Greg's not here too because he he's the only
- 39:41Speaker 14: person in this room typically who's honest about how much
- 39:43Speaker 14: of a hell hole in crapfest New York City is
- 39:46Speaker 14: New York in like forty it was.
- 39:50Speaker 1: Born in Queens.
- 39:51Speaker 3: Yeah, and I think he left after he soiled his
- 39:53Speaker 3: first dipert exactly. But he's a real expert.
- 39:58Speaker 1: I've seen the photos. He see photo every time.
- 40:02Speaker 14: Every time I'm in New York I'll share him photos.
- 40:03Speaker 14: Because I stayed in Queens. I stayed at the Resorts
- 40:06Speaker 14: World near JFK, and holy crap, what a dump of
- 40:09Speaker 14: a town. Because now right now.
- 40:11Speaker 1: You're in Queens by the airport.
- 40:12Speaker 14: Well, but I was also in Brooklyn and near a casino.
- 40:15Speaker 14: Well there's another problem. Yeah, but see, because it's there's
- 40:19Speaker 14: so much snow on the ground right now that's piled
- 40:21Speaker 14: up about three four feet on the sidewalks everywhere. So
- 40:24Speaker 14: then the bags of trash despite them having found out
- 40:26Speaker 14: a bunch of trash cans, which I saw some of those,
- 40:29Speaker 14: but still the trash is everywhere. So now the trash
- 40:32Speaker 14: is all piled on top of the snow. It's right
- 40:34Speaker 14: at eye level. You just get giant bags of garbage everywhere,
- 40:38Speaker 14: just walking around on these because everything's tiny because they
- 40:40Speaker 14: only plot a little tiny bit of the sidewalk. So
- 40:42Speaker 14: you got I will say, no rats, because they're they've
- 40:45Speaker 14: all died off from they're all underground. But yeah, the
- 40:48Speaker 14: trash is now at eye level. The the thing in Queens,
- 40:52Speaker 14: they don't really have the chain link fences around the
- 40:56Speaker 14: you know, eight square feet of yard. Now they have
- 40:58Speaker 14: the The thing is you get like a polished chrome
- 41:02Speaker 14: like like barber pulse sort of thing, or polished like
- 41:05Speaker 14: fake gold as instead of chain length, so you have
- 41:08Speaker 14: like poles.
- 41:09Speaker 4: On maybe some like fake stone work.
- 41:11Speaker 14: It's ultra trashy, ultra like nineteen seventies what they thought
- 41:16Speaker 14: fancy was back then. And of course they have the
- 41:18Speaker 14: stupid metal awnings which are all covered in snow.
- 41:20Speaker 1: Now.
- 41:21Speaker 4: It's just it's really it's the worst city in the world.
- 41:26Speaker 7: I can't fight you on the garbage thing, because yes,
- 41:29Speaker 7: come on, because everything else it's awesome.
- 41:31Speaker 3: But he focuses on the same two things.
- 41:33Speaker 14: Yeah, everything else, Okay, what's okay? Besides that every street
- 41:39Speaker 14: is literally covered in trash? What's the everything else?
- 41:41Speaker 1: What do you mean, what's the everything else?
- 41:42Speaker 4: What's the everything else?
- 41:43Speaker 1: Broadway?
- 41:44Speaker 3: I mean you can name you can name a thousand
- 41:47Speaker 3: different things for me for it. For me, I like
- 41:49Speaker 3: the I like the vibe and the energy of the city.
- 41:51Speaker 1: I like the scale.
- 41:52Speaker 3: Everything's on a grand scale, Like you're standing in the
- 41:55Speaker 3: eminem stores, very big, no for I'm saying just in generally,
- 41:59Speaker 3: like you're looking around and it's just this huge metropolis,
- 42:02Speaker 3: like as far like a city center goes. Like I
- 42:05Speaker 3: can feel like a like you can you can hear
- 42:09Speaker 3: the energy, you hear honking and screaming in part. But
- 42:12Speaker 3: there's something, Yeah, there is something endearing about it for
- 42:15Speaker 3: me personally. I know you might not like instant noise,
- 42:18Speaker 3: like the dump, like the hustle of it. I like
- 42:21Speaker 3: the fact that it is like a like a like
- 42:23Speaker 3: a like a walking, public transportation kind of city.
- 42:25Speaker 4: It is crowded, obnoxious.
- 42:27Speaker 5: Yes, and there's nothing better than the smell in winter
- 42:30Speaker 5: of the honey cinnamon almonds stands.
- 42:33Speaker 1: Oh yes, get them in a tone.
- 42:37Speaker 3: Forget the fact that you can find anything that you're
- 42:39Speaker 3: looking at.
- 42:39Speaker 14: It's absolutely not true, because last time I stayed in Manhattan,
- 42:42Speaker 14: it's like, oh, you can get sushi for yeah, looked
- 42:44Speaker 14: it up. You could not, so that first, I don't
- 42:47Speaker 14: want That was maybe an argument in the eighties. Every
- 42:50Speaker 14: city now, thanks to door dash and instacrat, you can
- 42:52Speaker 14: get anything you want at the same hours.
- 42:53Speaker 4: As is New York City.
- 42:54Speaker 1: They have two no booths.
- 42:57Speaker 14: You got to go to the good one is a
- 42:59Speaker 14: city completely lives on reputation, and again that offers nothing
- 43:03Speaker 14: other than Broadway shows, which travel these days, so you
- 43:05Speaker 14: can get those anywhere. It does not make up for Oh,
- 43:08Speaker 14: by the way, I could, I can understand where it's not.
- 43:11Speaker 14: It's not for everybody, and you are clearly one of them.
- 43:15Speaker 1: Everybody cares about like clam.
- 43:16Speaker 3: I think you're also certainly in the minority. Yeah, this one,
- 43:20Speaker 3: it's all hype. Okay, all right, thank you.
- 43:23Speaker 14: Pichon crap is on every surface. Check out my check
- 43:27Speaker 14: out my Instagram and my Twitter. Okay, producer, I was
- 43:30Speaker 14: walking off the men.
- 43:31Speaker 3: You can always find what you're looking for, right, because
- 43:34Speaker 3: you can always everything looks like yeah, you could. You
- 43:37Speaker 3: can always find what you're looking way parking super convenient
- 43:40Speaker 3: when you have to climb up on three feet of
- 43:42Speaker 3: frozy eight seven slush for send us a text over
- 43:46Speaker 3: to two two nine eight seven.
- 43:50Speaker 10: Damn.
- 43:50Speaker 3: We go right over to Gina Grant, who's got the
- 43:53Speaker 3: trending news headlines.
- 43:54Speaker 5: Well, most of the country didn't need a groundhog to
- 43:56Speaker 5: tell us that there's no end of the winter situation.
- 43:59Speaker 5: But that's what happen bend Punksatani, Pennsylvania. They came in
- 44:02Speaker 5: when Punksatani phill the world's most popular weather predictor. You know,
- 44:06Speaker 5: he was dragged out of his little hole and told
- 44:08Speaker 5: the guy that he saw his shadow and there will
- 44:10Speaker 5: be at least six more weeks of winter and again
- 44:12Speaker 5: news to No One. Temps hit record lows in Florida
- 44:15Speaker 5: over the weekend, cold stunned iguanas fell out of tree.
- 44:19Speaker 1: Oh no, yeah. The water at Disney World froze over
- 44:23Speaker 1: and you never wait Buena Vista. Isn't that crazy?
- 44:25Speaker 3: It froze over.
- 44:27Speaker 1: They got due.
- 44:27Speaker 3: Just how much snow they got in North Carolina?
- 44:29Speaker 1: Sixteen inches? Yeah?
- 44:32Speaker 3: Crazy?
- 44:32Speaker 1: Oh gohd punks Atani film, Yeah to punks. I didn't
- 44:37Speaker 1: realize this. I thought it was fifty to fifty with him,
- 44:39Speaker 1: but no, only right time.
- 44:43Speaker 3: That's his record since eighteen eighty six. I mean, there's
- 44:45Speaker 3: a lot of these weather predicting animals out there, but
- 44:47Speaker 3: Phill is one of the least accurate sucks.
- 44:49Speaker 1: You would win moneyf you bet against him. Yeah.
- 44:51Speaker 3: Also, back in the eighteen eighties, they used to eat
- 44:53Speaker 3: phil after they made his after he made the prediction.
- 44:55Speaker 1: That's fair.
- 44:56Speaker 3: They used to be part of the tradition. They would
- 44:57Speaker 3: they would eat the groundhogs and apparently it's tender and their.
- 45:01Speaker 4: Foot is so soft. I was petting like a groundhog
- 45:03Speaker 4: pelt the other.
- 45:04Speaker 14: Day, as you do, as you do when you're at
- 45:07Speaker 14: a historical reenactment to Fort, which I was at with
- 45:09Speaker 14: my family.
- 45:10Speaker 3: I do like the name Gobbler's knob though.
- 45:13Speaker 4: Yeah, that's super porny.
- 45:14Speaker 1: Yeah, that's fun.
- 45:16Speaker 3: That's fun.
- 45:17Speaker 5: Well, last night was the sixty eighth Grammy Awards, but
- 45:19Speaker 5: before the show even got started, all the talk was
- 45:21Speaker 5: about the red carpet, because I'm sure you've at least
- 45:24Speaker 5: heard about Chapel Roan's little dress, if you call it
- 45:26Speaker 5: a dress. She showed up with this like maroon colored
- 45:28Speaker 5: thing that came with a cape. Then she took that
- 45:30Speaker 5: off and attached it to her nipple clams.
- 45:33Speaker 3: She she's like Lady Gaga in that she is legitimately talented. Yes,
- 45:39Speaker 3: like she can really sing.
- 45:41Speaker 14: Ye.
- 45:42Speaker 3: And I've always said this about Lady Gaga, like she
- 45:44Speaker 3: doesn't need the stick.
- 45:45Speaker 14: Yeah, when they talk about tryhard, right, she's just an
- 45:48Speaker 14: attention whore.
- 45:49Speaker 4: Yeah, well she's a theater kid.
- 45:50Speaker 9: So question for the guys, was that look hot too?
- 45:54Speaker 14: I'm looking at it now, I gotta take my eyes
- 45:56Speaker 14: off it.
- 45:57Speaker 4: I was just I couldn't stop staring.
- 45:59Speaker 7: Also, it's a lesbian, she doesn't want to try to
- 46:01Speaker 7: look hot for dudes. I'm not talking about Loogan HoTT
- 46:05Speaker 7: and who's it for it? I just say like, it's
- 46:06Speaker 7: it's weird for the sake of being weird. It's the
- 46:09Speaker 7: look at me, the attention whoror thing, and it's like, yo,
- 46:11Speaker 7: you're actually talented. Yeah you can really sing, do that.
- 46:15Speaker 7: I saw some old video of her from back like
- 46:17Speaker 7: years at a bar. Yeah right, yeah, the same video.
- 46:21Speaker 7: It's like, man, you're you're really talented. You don't need that.
- 46:24Speaker 7: You say that all day, but in the music industry
- 46:27Speaker 7: you need dress, a stick and things like that.
- 46:31Speaker 1: It just that's just how it works.
- 46:34Speaker 5: Well, if I was sitting behind her, I'd rather beat
- 46:35Speaker 5: her being that and that stupid princess cap that went
- 46:38Speaker 5: six feet high and no one could see around.
- 46:40Speaker 1: Yeah, so this is.
- 46:41Speaker 4: Better offecially good boobs. Yeah, really nice bobs travel around.
- 46:45Speaker 1: After that, the show got kicked off.
- 46:47Speaker 5: Bad Bunny Too came Album of the Album of the Year,
- 46:50Speaker 5: Record of the Year went to Luther by Kendrick Lamar
- 46:53Speaker 5: with Sizza, and Song of the Year went to Wildflower
- 46:55Speaker 5: by Billie Eilish. Some of the other winners. Young Blood
- 46:57Speaker 5: won and dropped a bunch of f bombs.
- 47:00Speaker 3: Yeah he was up there with Sharon Osborne.
- 47:01Speaker 4: Yeah, accepting his word for best rocket.
- 47:04Speaker 1: I like him. He seems all right. Yeah, turned out
- 47:07Speaker 1: I turned around on him big time.
- 47:08Speaker 5: We look wise, he's almost like he has kind of
- 47:11Speaker 5: a hairy styles face and.
- 47:13Speaker 3: He's just like like like, what what do you mean? Like,
- 47:16Speaker 3: were like, why did you feel differently? At first?
- 47:18Speaker 7: I wasn't Like initially when he first like came on
- 47:21Speaker 7: the scene, I wasn't really like loving his music or
- 47:24Speaker 7: anything like that. And then and then his whole like
- 47:27Speaker 7: weird style of just talking to people. But then after
- 47:32Speaker 7: watching a bunch of interviews, I'm like, oh, this guy
- 47:35Speaker 7: is actually really interesting, and then his music got better
- 47:38Speaker 7: and better and better.
- 47:39Speaker 3: Yeah, I just think he's like a character, Like I
- 47:41Speaker 3: think he's legitimately nuts. Yeah, Like so like I don't
- 47:44Speaker 3: think that's a shtick. I don't think that's a put.
- 47:46Speaker 3: I think that's who he actually is, which he's just Yeah,
- 47:50Speaker 3: he's just like you know a number of these people
- 47:51Speaker 3: that we know that we've got on the show.
- 47:53Speaker 1: This worked for Kanye West. He's just legitimately you know.
- 47:57Speaker 3: He's goofy.
- 47:58Speaker 4: Yeah, he's eccentric.
- 48:00Speaker 14: When you ask I searched young Blood, the first thing
- 48:02Speaker 14: people also ask what is young Blood?
- 48:04Speaker 1: Diagnosed twist.
- 48:09Speaker 5: Well Best rock album that went to Turnstile, Best Rock
- 48:13Speaker 5: song Greg went to nine inch nails as Live as
- 48:15Speaker 5: You Need.
- 48:16Speaker 1: Me to Be.
- 48:16Speaker 4: The Cure won a couple of awards. Best Pop Solo.
- 48:19Speaker 5: Performance went to Woody Messy by Lily Yeah and Something
- 48:24Speaker 5: Really Sad Hammer and Hank's Girl Sabrina Carpenter. She was
- 48:27Speaker 5: completely shut out despite six Grammy nominations. Bruno Mars also
- 48:32Speaker 5: left empty handed for the first time at thirteen years.
- 48:34Speaker 1: And they made him perform twice. And then there was
- 48:38Speaker 1: this share thing. This is crazy.
- 48:41Speaker 5: After her acceptance speech for a Lifetime Achievement Grammy, she
- 48:44Speaker 5: got super confused, walked off the stage and she was
- 48:47Speaker 5: supposed to announce the award for Record of the Year,
- 48:49Speaker 5: but when she came back.
- 48:50Speaker 4: On, she got confused twice.
- 48:52Speaker 3: Yeah yeah please, so yeah, she was supposed to stick
- 48:55Speaker 3: around announce the nominees and then announced the winner. Right yeah, okay,
- 48:59Speaker 3: so soon she got her Lifetime Achievement thing that she
- 49:02Speaker 3: starts walking off stage and they're like, and it is
- 49:04Speaker 3: pretty funny, like someone like Trevor Noah has absolutely no
- 49:07Speaker 3: ability to direct to just to just ad lib and
- 49:10Speaker 3: make the moment work for a guy who's supposed to
- 49:12Speaker 3: be a comedian and a host of things like you
- 49:15Speaker 3: should have the ability just to be able to roll
- 49:17Speaker 3: with something that's not on the goddamn teleprompter. But he
- 49:20Speaker 3: fumbled all the way through that Chare comes back out
- 49:24Speaker 3: and then does this, and the grammar goes.
- 49:26Speaker 14: To, oh, they told me it was going to be
- 49:34Speaker 14: on the prompter.
- 49:39Speaker 10: Oh, the goes to Luther grand Rowse.
- 49:45Speaker 3: Luther Vandross Andrews. Yeah he did. And then yeah, the
- 49:50Speaker 3: name of the album is Luther.
- 49:53Speaker 1: Lamar.
- 49:53Speaker 3: Yeah, so there's.
- 49:56Speaker 10: Oh, the goes to Luther grand Rouse.
- 50:00Speaker 15: Now she is seventy nine.
- 50:11Speaker 1: Fair, she looks like she's fifty.
- 50:12Speaker 14: Yeah, she looks good, but seventy Yeah, that's what happened
- 50:16Speaker 14: jud a few years ago the CMAS or whatever, where
- 50:18Speaker 14: she was kind of confused and weird and.
- 50:20Speaker 3: Adele desin that John Travolta.
- 50:24Speaker 7: I mean, I would say the Grammys very fair this year,
- 50:28Speaker 7: like all the hit makers.
- 50:30Speaker 1: Everyone got an award for something.
- 50:32Speaker 3: Except going up again in that midget what's a.
- 50:39Speaker 1: But they'll they'll get some stuff next year.
- 50:41Speaker 9: Shout out Olivia Dean, Remember Girl Best Artists.
- 50:45Speaker 1: Well.
- 50:45Speaker 5: More than three million pages of the Epstein files were
- 50:49Speaker 5: released over the weekend, and more people were named in
- 50:51Speaker 5: the files, including movie director Brett Ratner, who just directed
- 50:54Speaker 5: the Millennia movie New York Giants co owner Steve Tish
- 50:57Speaker 5: and British billionaire Richard Branson. The new files also paint
- 51:01Speaker 5: Microsoft founder Bill Gates in a pretty bad light.
- 51:04Speaker 1: Saw that he had an extra marital affair.
- 51:07Speaker 5: He got an STD, then asked Epstein for drugs to
- 51:09Speaker 5: deal with the with the SDD before he went home.
- 51:11Speaker 3: Well, no, apparently he wanted to get him so that
- 51:14Speaker 3: he can give him to his wife because.
- 51:16Speaker 5: Because he passed it along and Prince Andrew also mentioned,
- 51:20Speaker 5: as we know in allegedly getting women trafficked in for
- 51:23Speaker 5: a bunch of different times. Epstein's victims they are not
- 51:27Speaker 5: happy about this. They slammed the release of the files,
- 51:30Speaker 5: saying that their names were exposed in the documents. Will
- 51:33Speaker 5: the quote men who abused them remain hidden and protected?
- 51:36Speaker 5: But did you also know this is like you know,
- 51:39Speaker 5: for our grandparents, but some hot Robin Leech gossip.
- 51:46Speaker 3: He was host of the shows before Cribs Lift Famous
- 51:51Speaker 3: and they would do a TV show that would just
- 51:52Speaker 3: go look at celebrities homes and yachts and yeah, vacation
- 51:56Speaker 3: homes and the yachts and cars.
- 51:58Speaker 4: People used to appreciate that stuff and not called him
- 52:00Speaker 4: evil for having it.
- 52:01Speaker 3: Yeah, anyway, so he was the host of that. Apparently
- 52:03Speaker 3: he was mentioned in this thing and the story goes
- 52:06Speaker 3: that he choked this young girl to death? What at
- 52:11Speaker 3: the Epstein whatever?
- 52:13Speaker 1: Yeah? I always thought he was gay. Well maybe he
- 52:17Speaker 1: was mad, he was angry.
- 52:19Speaker 3: Yeah, So that's that's what's claiming super crazy is that
- 52:23Speaker 3: he choked some girl to death.
- 52:26Speaker 9: And prove that, like there's a girl missing, right.
- 52:29Speaker 1: You thinks so?
- 52:30Speaker 3: But I'm sure they have a way to make Somebody
- 52:32Speaker 3: texted over saying, hey, what do you show? You got
- 52:34Speaker 3: to remember that chair can't read? For real? Is that true?
- 52:37Speaker 3: She can't read?
- 52:38Speaker 4: Well, they would know that ahead of time.
- 52:40Speaker 1: Yeah. And then she said she was it was gonna
- 52:42Speaker 1: be on the prompter. She can't read. She was expecting
- 52:45Speaker 1: to be able to read on the prompter.
- 52:46Speaker 3: Who's the hip hop guy that can't read?
- 52:48Speaker 1: Uh? And then the breakfast club was having him like.
- 52:59Speaker 14: Apparently does have the menace disease of dyslexia. That being said,
- 53:03Speaker 14: she's well versed in being on stage and on camera,
- 53:06Speaker 14: and you think they would know how to deal with
- 53:07Speaker 14: it well.
- 53:07Speaker 5: And do phantom words appear like Van DROs or grand Rose.
- 53:11Speaker 1: She could read the card because the ice.
- 53:14Speaker 10: Oh the Luther grand Rose.
- 53:17Speaker 1: I mean it's just called Luther.
- 53:19Speaker 9: Her eyes a little won yeah yeah.
- 53:21Speaker 7: But the thing going back real quick to Epstein and
- 53:23Speaker 7: Bill Gates. Bill Gates has already denied that like any
- 53:26Speaker 7: of that stuff is real. Of course he did, okay,
- 53:28Speaker 7: But also that part I kind of believe because dude,
- 53:31Speaker 7: you're a billionaire and you're going to Epstein to get drugs,
- 53:34Speaker 7: Well you don't.
- 53:34Speaker 4: Want your name on it at the pharmacy.
- 53:36Speaker 1: But he's also a billionaire. But you can get anybody.
- 53:40Speaker 3: But why would he go to anybody? We can go
- 53:42Speaker 3: to a guy that he knows he has.
- 53:43Speaker 4: Now, yeah, he They both know where the bodies are, right,
- 53:46Speaker 4: major do Yeah?
- 53:47Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 53:48Speaker 5: Well, today officially kicks off Super Bowl Week. The team's
- 53:51Speaker 5: got to San Jose yesterday to prep for the game.
- 53:54Speaker 5: Today's media day. That's always fun, but then it's all business.
- 53:57Speaker 5: They get down for a Super Bowl sixty at Levi's
- 53:59Speaker 5: Stadium in Santa Clara, California, home to the forty nine ers.
- 54:02Speaker 7: By the way, wait so Gina, wait, they're going to
- 54:04Speaker 7: the super Bowl in San Francisco, why would they go
- 54:07Speaker 7: to San Jose.
- 54:08Speaker 1: Oh wait, because the stadium is not even in San Francisco.
- 54:11Speaker 3: No, it's it's south of San Jose exact.
- 54:13Speaker 4: They're like San Jose Convention Center.
- 54:16Speaker 3: You know, it sucks and this this is going to
- 54:17Speaker 3: be one cluster f of an experience for people going
- 54:20Speaker 3: to the Super Bowl. A lot of the events are
- 54:22Speaker 3: in San Francisco of them right, So okay, so where
- 54:26Speaker 3: do you get your hotel? Do you get your hotel
- 54:28Speaker 3: in San Francisco or do you get the hotel closer
- 54:30Speaker 3: to like where the game is.
- 54:31Speaker 14: By the way, if you get certain hotels in San Francisco,
- 54:33Speaker 14: you literally cannot be outside of your hotel past dark
- 54:36Speaker 14: because the streets get taken over by zombies.
- 54:40Speaker 7: The staff told everyone's going to stay in the city.
- 54:43Speaker 7: It's just the day of the game. It's just like
- 54:46Speaker 7: and they're gonna have to leave.
- 54:47Speaker 3: Early early, you're gonna have to leave yesterday.
- 54:49Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 54:50Speaker 4: On top of that, they have a ton of wayms
- 54:52Speaker 4: there now, so that could.
- 54:52Speaker 5: Be a whole Oh my god, they're all going to
- 54:54Speaker 5: get in accents. Well, it's on NBC, it's going to
- 54:56Speaker 5: stream on Peacock and the NFL app kickoff will be
- 54:59Speaker 5: six thirty Eastern and it's a rematch, by the way,
- 55:02Speaker 5: from Super Bowl for forty nine in twenty fifteen. Yeah,
- 55:05Speaker 5: the Patriots won that one.
- 55:06Speaker 3: Yeah, interception on the one yard line. Remember in Russell
- 55:09Speaker 3: Wilson got picked off, Like they should have ran it in,
- 55:12Speaker 3: and he decided to throw a pass and got picked off.
- 55:14Speaker 3: End of the game. That's it. He Seahawks lose. What's
- 55:16Speaker 3: his name, Pete Carroll decide, Well, what I'm saying, like
- 55:19Speaker 3: they instead of running it in. Everybody said they should
- 55:21Speaker 3: have just ran it in. Yeah, ran the one yard
- 55:24Speaker 3: line dog right there.
- 55:25Speaker 1: Ye.
- 55:25Speaker 5: Well, Charlie Pooth is going to sing the national anthem,
- 55:27Speaker 5: Green Day, will perform a bunch of songs in the
- 55:29Speaker 5: opening ceremony, and as you know, Bad Bunny will be
- 55:32Speaker 5: the halftime entertainment. And Costco and Nike menace. I can't
- 55:37Speaker 5: believe we haven't already talked about this. They've teamed up
- 55:39Speaker 5: for this sneaker collab. They dropped their new Kirkland signature
- 55:43Speaker 5: Nike sp dunk Low's one hundred and thirty five bucks
- 55:47Speaker 5: and if you've got a pair, just consider yourself lucky.
- 55:50Speaker 5: They were sold in California, New York, Oregon, and Washington,
- 55:53Speaker 5: and the line to get them was literally hundreds of
- 55:56Speaker 5: people deep at every store and of course Scalper's got
- 55:59Speaker 5: their hands on them there.
- 56:00Speaker 1: I saw there.
- 56:00Speaker 3: Reselling for like up to three or five.
- 56:02Speaker 4: Thousand bucks or something five grand.
- 56:04Speaker 3: On basic ray s B dunk loads and like it
- 56:08Speaker 3: has you know, the inside of the tag. It has
- 56:11Speaker 3: what looks like a like a Costco price tag, you
- 56:14Speaker 3: know they have above the thing there's like there's like
- 56:17Speaker 3: a hidden U dollar fifty hot dog drink, you know,
- 56:22Speaker 3: uh thing you see above the above.
- 56:24Speaker 1: The food core.
- 56:25Speaker 3: There's a couple of things, but like how hardcore of
- 56:27Speaker 3: a Kirkland Costco fan do you got to bed? It's
- 56:31Speaker 3: one thing to like even buy it one hundred and
- 56:33Speaker 3: thirty some bucks for the original pair of shoes, that's
- 56:35Speaker 3: that's a lot for a pair of shoes, But then
- 56:37Speaker 3: to spend thousands to get you get your get you
- 56:41Speaker 3: a pair on the secondary market?
- 56:43Speaker 5: Is this geared toward I'm guessing anyone who's like, you know,
- 56:46Speaker 5: into quote unquote dad wrap like.
- 56:48Speaker 3: These are, this is just trendy idiots for collector trendy.
- 56:52Speaker 3: I like you, is there anything really cool about rock
- 56:55Speaker 3: and like Kirkland gear no to like if it's a
- 56:59Speaker 3: decent weat shirt at a decent price, but like the
- 57:01Speaker 3: only reason it's the same when people are wearing the
- 57:04Speaker 3: the fanny packs sideways across their chests, the same reason
- 57:08Speaker 3: that have the tags hanging off of the of the shoes,
- 57:12Speaker 3: the big plastic anti Supreme ever Supreme.
- 57:16Speaker 4: Yeah, you're supposed to keep those alarm tags.
- 57:19Speaker 10: On your shoes.
- 57:19Speaker 3: They do on the off wites.
- 57:22Speaker 1: Come on, I didn't know that that's the brand.
- 57:25Speaker 14: As much crap as we give Sammy for her stupid
- 57:27Speaker 14: stuff that she collects, and now Morgan for her pink
- 57:30Speaker 14: these sneakerheads.
- 57:30Speaker 3: Are worse, way worse. Well that just it's just it's
- 57:34Speaker 3: just trendy idiots.
- 57:35Speaker 14: If it died, the hell can people around the block
- 57:36Speaker 14: for these stupid costco because they because they have access
- 57:39Speaker 14: to get them, they'll buy them.
- 57:43Speaker 1: Anything. I'm saying. The the resale the resale Marke say
- 57:47Speaker 1: that whenever this happens.
- 57:48Speaker 14: But I talked to these people, and a lot of
- 57:49Speaker 14: them like when are the stupid Taylor Swift sweaters. Most
- 57:53Speaker 14: of the people when I'm there are there to buy
- 57:55Speaker 14: it and keep it question.
- 57:56Speaker 3: So Randy used to work on the show. Randy got
- 57:58Speaker 3: himself a pair.
- 57:59Speaker 1: Oh no, he wants to sell them.
- 58:02Speaker 3: He's he's gonna resell them, flips everything.
- 58:05Speaker 7: Yeah, he signs up for he signs up for these
- 58:09Speaker 7: services where they like they miss mark prices on Amazon,
- 58:13Speaker 7: and then he ends up buying like ten palelets of
- 58:16Speaker 7: diapers and then he sells them, sell those.
- 58:21Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 58:21Speaker 7: I saw that Randy got a pair. He posted on
- 58:23Speaker 7: social media. He got a pair of these costcos he
- 58:26Speaker 7: has like nine thousand batteries at his house.
- 58:30Speaker 5: Well, there's finally a shake up at the box office.
- 58:32Speaker 5: It took a while. Sam Raimi's newest horror movie, Send Help,
- 58:35Speaker 5: that debuted at number one, but it did have a
- 58:37Speaker 5: little competition. Number two was Iron Lung Anyone. That was
- 58:41Speaker 5: a movie from that YouTuber that's based on a video game. Milania,
- 58:44Speaker 5: the movie about the first Lady that came in third,
- 58:47Speaker 5: Utopia finished fourth, and Shelter debuted at number five.
- 58:50Speaker 3: I can understand being curious about the Milania documentary. Who
- 58:55Speaker 3: goes to the theater to see it? Right, supporter, No,
- 58:58Speaker 3: you know what I mean?
- 58:59Speaker 9: Like extreme documentary?
- 59:00Speaker 1: Is it a streamer? Is it just in the theater
- 59:02Speaker 1: so they could try to get in the order.
- 59:04Speaker 3: Yeah, probably like, but still people went to the theater
- 59:07Speaker 3: to see it.
- 59:08Speaker 1: Yeah that bar I don't who who.
- 59:09Speaker 3: Is that person?
- 59:10Speaker 1: I don't.
- 59:10Speaker 4: I don't know anything about it.
- 59:11Speaker 3: It was the hardcore you know people that in Texas.
- 59:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 59:15Speaker 5: Really, Well, if it was like really like a really
- 59:18Speaker 5: like real thing about like about her life and growing up,
- 59:21Speaker 5: I'm very curious about her.
- 59:22Speaker 4: I'm very interested. But if it's just like a commercial, but.
- 59:25Speaker 3: Like, let's get a sitter, let's go to the theater. Prices,
- 59:28Speaker 3: get it overpriced, you know, coke, slushy, and some popcorn.
- 59:32Speaker 1: That's a good point. A special popcorn bucket for this one.
- 59:34Speaker 3: But they did, like Donald Trump saw, you know, they
- 59:38Speaker 3: really did.
- 59:38Speaker 4: They had a white and it has like black like
- 59:40Speaker 4: picture of Millennia.
- 59:41Speaker 1: I didn't click on.
- 59:42Speaker 3: I just I saw there was a headline. They they
- 59:44Speaker 3: had a special popcorn bucket for the stupid Millennia. You
- 59:47Speaker 3: go get it serious?
- 59:49Speaker 1: Yeah, has one. If you haven't heard about this, you
- 59:54Speaker 1: have to see this.
- 59:55Speaker 5: Everyone's talking about it for good reason and laughing about
- 59:58Speaker 5: what happened during the Kingsley Eve and Gerald Miller fight. Okay,
- 1:00:02Speaker 5: in case you missed it or somehow we're able to
- 1:00:04Speaker 5: avoid it. Over the weekend, they were going at it
- 1:00:06Speaker 5: in the second round when eBay landed some punches that
- 1:00:09Speaker 5: landed so well that Miller's head got knocked backwards and
- 1:00:12Speaker 5: it caused his hair piece to like pop up.
- 1:00:14Speaker 3: And one super solid uppercut in a flopping back. So
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: he was like a very high fade.
- 1:00:21Speaker 13: Yeah, did you see what he said after the fight?
- 1:00:23Speaker 13: What well he threw it into the crowd.
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: He had a good sense of humor.
- 1:00:27Speaker 9: He handled it so well, because that's very embarrassing.
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: That's a weird play.
- 1:00:31Speaker 13: He just said, like, sorry, guys, like I was at
- 1:00:33Speaker 13: my mom's house and I used this wrong stuff on
- 1:00:35Speaker 13: my head and.
- 1:00:38Speaker 9: He made a big joke out of it.
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: He won, by the way, so who cares. I won
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: the fight.
- 1:00:42Speaker 9: And imagine catching his hair if you're in the crowd,
- 1:00:44Speaker 9: that'd be so cool.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: That would be cool.
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: What do you do with that?
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: Talk about resale?
- 1:00:48Speaker 16: He shows next bar what he show barwy show show
- 1:01:02Speaker 16: new Week, New month into the month of February.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: It is the Hoodies show phones open eight seven seven
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: forty four.
- 1:01:12Speaker 3: Wooding hit us up of the text over to two
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: two nine, eight seven, we were talking about everybody went
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: crazy on those Costco branded nikes.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: Yeah, that they released and now they're.
- 1:01:22Speaker 3: Going for thousands of dollars on the stock x's.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: Of the world.
- 1:01:26Speaker 3: Yeah, just all this like super trendy stuff, and it
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: just seems like the dumber the idea, the more crazy
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: people will go over it. Like, uh, did the other
- 1:01:35Speaker 3: thing that's coming out, you know, Amtrak the trains? Yeah,
- 1:01:38Speaker 3: there's an Amtrak uh like track suit? What that they're
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: that they're selling and so yeah, it's a zip up jacket,
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: joggers and a sleep mask designed by a student New
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: York who won a contest for the design. They're selling
- 1:01:55Speaker 3: for like almost three hundred bucks. This is it? Who
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: buys that?
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: It's not lying.
- 1:02:01Speaker 9: There's a lot of train fans out there.
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: Yeah, there's a lot of train heads so crazy.
- 1:02:06Speaker 7: You were saying that because right right before the show
- 1:02:08Speaker 7: started on social media, I was watching this video I'm
- 1:02:11Speaker 7: talking about like guys in their twenties. They're lining up
- 1:02:15Speaker 7: at a train station, all cameras and video cameras and
- 1:02:18Speaker 7: stuff like that, just the wait for a train to
- 1:02:19Speaker 7: pull up so they can take photos and videos of it.
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: Honest question, these are like the autistic kids, right, these.
- 1:02:26Speaker 4: Are just like, okay, it is that for sure?
- 1:02:28Speaker 10: What?
- 1:02:28Speaker 7: Yes, well some of them, I think they I think
- 1:02:31Speaker 7: they're trying to be a that's that's a thing. Yes, yeah,
- 1:02:36Speaker 7: I think on the ground floor of people first being
- 1:02:39Speaker 7: aware of like people going to do this and post
- 1:02:42Speaker 7: it on social media. Yes, maybe kids with autism really
- 1:02:45Speaker 7: into it, but I think it has branched out to
- 1:02:48Speaker 7: like guys in their twenties, like they want to make
- 1:02:50Speaker 7: videos about trains.
- 1:02:52Speaker 4: Wow, so are the autistic kids like the taste makers?
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: And yeah, pretty much? Well here it is.
- 1:02:56Speaker 14: It was that, but then also it's fifty year old
- 1:02:59Speaker 14: dudes and he who loves model trains more than anything.
- 1:03:02Speaker 7: Oh, this is just another version of what you've talked
- 1:03:04Speaker 7: about where people go to airports and they make videos
- 1:03:07Speaker 7: of planes taking off.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, and the thing.
- 1:03:10Speaker 14: There's has to be an audience for that. Because I
- 1:03:12Speaker 14: went to go park at the airport recently there was
- 1:03:14Speaker 14: a dude in the top deck of the parking deck
- 1:03:15Speaker 14: with a video camera and he had this live stream thing.
- 1:03:17Speaker 7: But I think the guys in their twenties that are
- 1:03:21Speaker 7: now jumping on it, they see that these other kids
- 1:03:25Speaker 7: initially they posted it.
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: And then there's millions of views of it, right.
- 1:03:28Speaker 7: So they're mon like everybody got a podcast all of
- 1:03:31Speaker 7: a sudden. Yeah, so they figured out like, well, wait
- 1:03:33Speaker 7: a minute, everybody's an influence.
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: They posted a video of a train, it'll get.
- 1:03:37Speaker 7: A million views, and then maybe it's all of a sudden,
- 1:03:39Speaker 7: everybody's into watching trains pull up.
- 1:03:41Speaker 3: They're just doing it because they think that they're going
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: to get rich.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: Yeah. Who do we know who is into buses? School buses? Yeah,
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: but that's a true passion. And I did ask him
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: if it was sexual, and he said yes.
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: Yeah, oh yeah. He said there's a weird kind of
- 1:03:56Speaker 3: like sexual turn on to school buses and not for
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: what on the school bus? Yeah, no, kid, this is
- 1:04:03Speaker 3: like the buses. Like he could tell you anything and
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: everything about oh that's a bluebird or that's a you know,
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: because there's those different different manufacturers. Yeah right, and he
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: could tell you all the different you.
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: Showing me a video of like the different handles to
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: open the doors. Oh yeah, oh yeah.
- 1:04:20Speaker 9: Man used to go to war and now they're obsessed
- 1:04:22Speaker 9: with trains and buses.
- 1:04:23Speaker 14: Well there's there's and I should know this being an engineer.
- 1:04:26Speaker 14: But there's a large like mechanical engineers and electrical engineers
- 1:04:29Speaker 14: especially would be into this sort of thing.
- 1:04:31Speaker 4: I am not one of those, so I don't get it.
- 1:04:33Speaker 3: And there's also the train engineer.
- 1:04:34Speaker 14: Well, yeah, engineer. I did go when I was in
- 1:04:39Speaker 14: my twenties and I couldn't like in school. I went
- 1:04:41Speaker 14: to it like an engineering boot camp or job thing,
- 1:04:46Speaker 14: and they were like, this is how you become a
- 1:04:47Speaker 14: train engineer. You know, it's basically work study program, but
- 1:04:50Speaker 14: you had to be away for like six weeks at
- 1:04:51Speaker 14: a time doing whatever.
- 1:04:52Speaker 3: Yeah, knocking off, you know what it is. Okay, So
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: I think we're sitting here talking about this stuff. I
- 1:04:57Speaker 3: kind of figured out what bothers me about the the
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: craziness over the costco Nikes or all of a sudden,
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: there's a billion people on the people are legitimately into
- 1:05:11Speaker 3: things right, and that's and that's fine. It's the phoniness
- 1:05:14Speaker 3: of all the people who aren't, and it's just for
- 1:05:16Speaker 3: the trendiness of it. Yes, they find out that's annoying
- 1:05:20Speaker 3: for whatever reason. It's not ruining my day. It's just irritating.
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: But I wonder why I have like an irritated reaction
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: to it. I don't really think about what about that
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: because okay, fine whatever, Let people enjoy it. That's fine.
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: Enjoy stuff. There are things that I enjoy. Fine, but
- 1:05:34Speaker 3: it's authentic, Like there's an authentic joy in what garbage
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: pail kits. I enjoy garbage pail gets like for real,
- 1:05:39Speaker 3: not because everybody all of a sudden decided they're in
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: the gardage. Because now I'm in the garbage pai. He
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: likes to do correct or planes, you know, things right,
- 1:05:49Speaker 3: and so there there's authenticity to it. It's the phoniness,
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: the chasing, the people that are chasing.
- 1:05:57Speaker 5: Well, you know who the the latest one of the
- 1:06:00Speaker 5: that isab Boos.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: Do you hear about labuobas anymore?
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: No?
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: You do.
- 1:06:03Speaker 8: Not.
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: The same with the stupid hoverboard things that everybody was
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: riding around.
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: Like you know, fun.
- 1:06:10Speaker 4: Being taken at menace.
- 1:06:10Speaker 3: Yeah no, no, no, I'm just just just in general
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: I figured out because I you know, I'm trying to
- 1:06:15Speaker 3: figure out more why you know, when when you know,
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: like why do you feel a certain way or you know,
- 1:06:22Speaker 3: like what what what? But yeah, well exactly what's the root,
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: cause what's the root you know of this thing? And
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: what truly bothers you about it, because really who cares?
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: Because who cares?
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: Just what people enjoys to the fine.
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: That's the point.
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: That's it's the phoniness, it's the inauthenticity. There's just nothing real,
- 1:06:41Speaker 3: it's just this phony and that that's something for them
- 1:06:44Speaker 3: to look into, Like, why do you feel the.
- 1:06:45Speaker 4: Need to chase, yeah, to jump on this band chase trends.
- 1:06:49Speaker 3: That's one thing when you're a kid, because you like
- 1:06:51Speaker 3: everybody's trying to fit in. But when you're a grown
- 1:06:53Speaker 3: ass person, it's kind of sad.
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: We just sad.
- 1:06:56Speaker 7: We just said why they're tracing the the trend because
- 1:07:00Speaker 7: they think they're going to make some money.
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: Off See's And that's not for everybody. There are a
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: few people that the entrepreneur type, you know, min Yes, okay,
- 1:07:06Speaker 3: they will. There's a lot of people who are just
- 1:07:09Speaker 3: chasing whatever they want to be a part of whatever
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: the current thing is.
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:07:12Speaker 7: I think there's three levels to it. There's the ones
- 1:07:15Speaker 7: that are really into it legit. There is the in between,
- 1:07:19Speaker 7: which I think what you're about to talk about right
- 1:07:21Speaker 7: now is the people that feel they want to be
- 1:07:24Speaker 7: part of something, part of a community, for some reason.
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: They need to be other people.
- 1:07:27Speaker 3: They need to be a part of what.
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: Then the third level, the people that want to make
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: money off of it.
- 1:07:30Speaker 3: They don't even care what it is. They just need
- 1:07:32Speaker 3: to be a part of whatever it is. They think
- 1:07:33Speaker 3: everybody else is a part of. We were walking they
- 1:07:36Speaker 3: want to be part of something. We were walking on
- 1:07:37Speaker 3: the mall. Uh it's a plan in Hollywood, Las.
- 1:07:40Speaker 14: Vegas, and there was a store that had just those
- 1:07:43Speaker 14: like big like gummy bear plastic.
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: Ething robots and yeah, yeah, and it was the same people.
- 1:07:49Speaker 14: They were selling Pokemon cars for ten thousand dollars, these
- 1:07:52Speaker 14: stupid plastic things.
- 1:07:54Speaker 4: And shoes for ten thousand dollars.
- 1:07:55Speaker 14: And everybody in there was like a twenty three year
- 1:07:58Speaker 14: old dipish just with you know, the stupid broccoli haircut,
- 1:08:03Speaker 14: and we're supreme. Sure, So like every one of them
- 1:08:06Speaker 14: are the people what he's talking about. They are just
- 1:08:07Speaker 14: straight up I guess, for lack of a better word,
- 1:08:10Speaker 14: clout chasing losers.
- 1:08:11Speaker 3: Yeah, I guess I got to I got to figure
- 1:08:12Speaker 3: out like where to draw the line. Like again, like
- 1:08:14Speaker 3: when you're a kid, teenager, even inso young adulthood, I
- 1:08:17Speaker 3: get that you're really still trying to figure things out.
- 1:08:20Speaker 3: It's like once you should have pretty much figured out
- 1:08:22Speaker 3: who you are and that stuff doesn't need to be
- 1:08:25Speaker 3: important anymore. Let's call it mid thirties. When you see
- 1:08:27Speaker 3: people in.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: Mid thirties, you were talking like eighteen.
- 1:08:30Speaker 3: Okay, I'll give you up to like thirty five generous
- 1:08:35Speaker 3: like once you because that's where it seems like. And
- 1:08:37Speaker 3: you know the guys you see him, you know they're there.
- 1:08:42Speaker 3: They still think it's like nineteen ninety five. They're addressed
- 1:08:45Speaker 3: the exact same way. They it's that same kind of
- 1:08:49Speaker 3: like dopey energy, you know, because they just can't accept.
- 1:08:53Speaker 5: So this is just another branch of that whole arrested development.
- 1:08:56Speaker 5: Nobody can claim yeah, yeah it's obnoxious.
- 1:08:59Speaker 3: Seven and forty four. We gotta take a break, and
- 1:09:01Speaker 3: Samy keeps holding up song Yes, fun killer, Like what happens.
- 1:09:07Speaker 4: If we don't, uh, we get very behind.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: You don't want to find out?
- 1:09:11Speaker 8: Yeah, like what happens, Well, we'll get in trouble because
- 1:09:14Speaker 8: everything will end up running together. Oh we do need
- 1:09:17Speaker 8: to play commercials.
- 1:09:18Speaker 3: People think this is like such an important like like
- 1:09:21Speaker 3: radio radio managers are the worst, Like there's nothing important
- 1:09:26Speaker 3: happening here, like, look what we're doing for a living? Yeah,
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: you know, Like what happens if we don't break right now?
- 1:09:31Speaker 3: Like does anything? Is there any kind of actual consequence?
- 1:09:35Speaker 3: I will take the break, but damn, thank you show?
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: All right? So weekend cheers and jeers, menace. What do
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: you go?
- 1:09:46Speaker 10: Well?
- 1:09:47Speaker 7: Of course we had a good time together hanging out
- 1:09:49Speaker 7: with a bunch of listeners and things like that and
- 1:09:52Speaker 7: traveling that was super fun. But I did dip out
- 1:09:54Speaker 7: on you guys, and I went to Miami, Florida to
- 1:09:57Speaker 7: go check out Former E Racing, which I really really enjoyed.
- 1:10:01Speaker 7: It's it has been around for about ten years, but
- 1:10:04Speaker 7: people are starting to really get on the ground floor
- 1:10:06Speaker 7: of it and it's it's really exciting. But they have
- 1:10:09Speaker 7: new generation of cars that are just like insanely fast.
- 1:10:12Speaker 7: The cars actually go faster than Formula one cars from
- 1:10:16Speaker 7: zero to sixty.
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: It's it.
- 1:10:18Speaker 4: Am I to assume that Formula E means electric.
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: Yeah, it's all electric, all electric, open wheel. Yeah.
- 1:10:23Speaker 7: So, and being at the track in Florida is a
- 1:10:27Speaker 7: crazy experience because again, still people are getting on the
- 1:10:30Speaker 7: ground floor of it. And I went there for Formula
- 1:10:32Speaker 7: one where it's just like a massive, huge, like I
- 1:10:35Speaker 7: don't know, I would say like a Coachella or Lollapalooza
- 1:10:39Speaker 7: amount of people at the track versus you know, a
- 1:10:43Speaker 7: smaller amount of people on the being at the track.
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: But it's still a fun experience. What does a Formula
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: E race sound like?
- 1:10:49Speaker 3: It's like, yeah, it does.
- 1:10:50Speaker 7: It's actually it sounds like they sound like airplanes. Really yeah, yeah,
- 1:10:55Speaker 7: it's really cool.
- 1:10:56Speaker 1: How do the car people feel about Formulae?
- 1:10:59Speaker 3: Yeah, because car people are very electric vehicles.
- 1:11:04Speaker 7: Well, the argument also is like, if you're really into
- 1:11:07Speaker 7: Formula one, Formula one is pretty much all electric now too,
- 1:11:10Speaker 7: they got a rid of the the gas when they
- 1:11:14Speaker 7: do the pit stops because it was just way too dangerous.
- 1:11:17Speaker 7: So Formula one car so pretty much ninety eight percent
- 1:11:20Speaker 7: electric as well? They are yeah, so they have a
- 1:11:23Speaker 7: small amount of gas in them, So how do they
- 1:11:25Speaker 7: how do they go for that hybrid? Okay, but then
- 1:11:29Speaker 7: how do they so they are still using fuel?
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: Yeah, they still are. So it's like a like a
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: hybrid situation.
- 1:11:34Speaker 3: But there's so there's no way to do like a
- 1:11:35Speaker 3: like those pit stops are fractions of a second at
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: this point, they're Yeah, so like, it's not like they
- 1:11:40Speaker 3: can recharge the battery. The battery's got to be dead
- 1:11:42Speaker 3: after the first couple of laps. The amount of speed and.
- 1:11:46Speaker 7: Generating exactly how it all works. But yeah, it's a
- 1:11:50Speaker 7: lot of electric.
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:11:51Speaker 3: I saw something about trucks and I thought was interesting,
- 1:11:55Speaker 3: is over time pickup trucks have grown, but the beds
- 1:12:01Speaker 3: are super small. You ever see like one of those
- 1:12:04Speaker 3: golf carts that has the bed on the back.
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: M Oh yeah.
- 1:12:07Speaker 3: They had a comparison saying that. They said, these two
- 1:12:10Speaker 3: trucks have the same amount of space in the bed,
- 1:12:14Speaker 3: and the one is like a typical like pickup truck
- 1:12:17Speaker 3: and the other one is like one of these looking
- 1:12:18Speaker 3: like side by sides are golf cart looking things that
- 1:12:21Speaker 3: have to because they keep they keep making trucks less
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: like trucks because.
- 1:12:25Speaker 4: They aren't really funny looking with those tiny of beds.
- 1:12:28Speaker 3: Yeah, and they have like a little short bed or
- 1:12:30Speaker 3: you know what, We'll still want a truck, right, they're saying,
- 1:12:33Speaker 3: but not for truck stuff. It's not a car heart.
- 1:12:35Speaker 3: But you don't do car herd stuff they want to. Yeah,
- 1:12:38Speaker 3: it's dudes who want a truck, but they don't they don't.
- 1:12:41Speaker 3: They don't use the truck for any time. Right, there's
- 1:12:44Speaker 3: no hauling, towing, no kind of like you know, work
- 1:12:47Speaker 3: being done with that truck.
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just to be a dude.
- 1:12:50Speaker 3: With a truck truck.
- 1:12:52Speaker 4: I wonder with a decent sized bed.
- 1:12:53Speaker 3: I appreciate, which I considered it at one point. It's like,
- 1:12:56Speaker 3: you know, because I saw a couple of them, Oh,
- 1:12:58Speaker 3: those are kind of cool, Like I just like the
- 1:12:59Speaker 3: way they looked. But I don't do truck stuff. Yeah,
- 1:13:02Speaker 3: and I would be like, I feel like such a douche. Yeah,
- 1:13:06Speaker 3: I couldn't really look myself in the mirror. And I
- 1:13:09Speaker 3: appreciate it.
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: But so yeah, I enjoyed being out the races. Super fun.
- 1:13:14Speaker 7: My gears though is okay, I'm gonna have to shout
- 1:13:18Speaker 7: out Einstein Bagels.
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: Okay, just this one location.
- 1:13:21Speaker 7: I went to shout to Einstein Bagels, lax, because I
- 1:13:26Speaker 7: do enjoy Einstein Bagels. I go to the Vegas location
- 1:13:30Speaker 7: all the time. But at the La La X, I
- 1:13:34Speaker 7: had a bad experience where I ordered my meal and
- 1:13:38Speaker 7: you put in your phone number and I'll text you
- 1:13:39Speaker 7: when the meal is available. So I get a text
- 1:13:41Speaker 7: says your meals available. I walk up to the counter
- 1:13:45Speaker 7: and I said, oh yeah, I got a text and
- 1:13:48Speaker 7: they're like, oh, your meal's not done yet.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: I okay. Cool. So I'm standing there. Another worker comes by.
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: Can I help you?
- 1:13:54Speaker 7: Oh yeah, I was just waiting for my meal. I
- 1:13:57Speaker 7: got a text that it was ready, and she goes
- 1:13:59Speaker 7: and she looks. She's like, there's five orders ahead of you.
- 1:14:02Speaker 7: I go, hey, why are you getting mad at me?
- 1:14:05Speaker 7: It said it was ready, you know.
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: So she's like, give me. I go, it said it
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: was ready. I'm sorry. She was getting upset with me
- 1:14:12Speaker 1: that I was standing there waiting, So.
- 1:14:14Speaker 14: Why would that never be anybody's reaction as a as
- 1:14:17Speaker 14: a supposed.
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: Employee, I know.
- 1:14:18Speaker 7: And she was like give me thirty looks and she's
- 1:14:20Speaker 7: like she's like looking. She was talking to the other
- 1:14:24Speaker 7: worker and then looking at me and like I go okay,
- 1:14:27Speaker 7: And I said, you know what, never mind.
- 1:14:29Speaker 3: So it reminds me of the woman that was working
- 1:14:31Speaker 3: the front desk.
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: At the hotel.
- 1:14:32Speaker 3: Oh who, like, man, we're bothering her by.
- 1:14:35Speaker 5: Being there, Yeah, sitting there in her socks, not talking anybody.
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: Yeah. So I was like, okay, you know what, forget it.
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: I don't want my order. I just walk away.
- 1:14:44Speaker 7: So then I go to the little news stand where
- 1:14:48Speaker 7: they have self checkout, and I go, okay, I'll just
- 1:14:51Speaker 7: buy some items. So I'm starting to scan my items,
- 1:14:54Speaker 7: and this happens to me a lot at airports with
- 1:14:56Speaker 7: these self scanning things. A worker just comes up and
- 1:14:59Speaker 7: start scanning stuff for me. But between every item, she's like,
- 1:15:05Speaker 7: she's coughing on every item. Every three times, I go,
- 1:15:10Speaker 7: you know what, I don't want it.
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: So I walked away from that. He has a trail
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: of paid for it, and I was like, you want
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: so that's my gears. I just really couldn't get a meal.
- 1:15:21Speaker 14: Can I glimb onto your gears? With those self checkouts?
- 1:15:23Speaker 14: The airport came, which I look, I like the idea. Yeah,
- 1:15:26Speaker 14: it also I counted it.
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: It takes six different steps to check out.
- 1:15:30Speaker 14: Let's say you wanted a drink, because you have to say,
- 1:15:33Speaker 14: select how many bags you want?
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: And you have to select do you want to make
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: a donation?
- 1:15:37Speaker 4: You want to make it? Do you want to make
- 1:15:39Speaker 4: it risk?
- 1:15:39Speaker 3: Well, it's like that it's pumping gas too, like you
- 1:15:41Speaker 3: have rewards? Do you want a car wash?
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: No?
- 1:15:43Speaker 3: I just want gas.
- 1:15:45Speaker 14: It's literally six seven questions, yeah, press here to not
- 1:15:48Speaker 14: to start to pay.
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: It's it's insane, like what do you.
- 1:15:51Speaker 7: Yeah, but that also happened to me at the Fort
- 1:15:54Speaker 7: Lauderdale Airport where I was going to scan stuff and
- 1:15:58Speaker 7: the worker just jumps in, pushes me out of the
- 1:16:00Speaker 7: way and start scaming stuff for me. I'm like, it's
- 1:16:02Speaker 7: self checkout. Why are you doing this? It's so weird.
- 1:16:05Speaker 1: Maybe they're bored. Yeah.
- 1:16:06Speaker 3: The woman at the at the hotel, Oh my god.
- 1:16:09Speaker 3: And it turns out the Gina had the exact same experience.
- 1:16:12Speaker 3: It wasn't just me. I think, well, did I do something?
- 1:16:14Speaker 3: I was walking up to the desk just to check out,
- 1:16:17Speaker 3: drop my key off and check out, and she was
- 1:16:21Speaker 3: looking at the computer, so I wasn't sure if she
- 1:16:23Speaker 3: was doing something, so I walked up. I said, Hey,
- 1:16:26Speaker 3: how you doing? And I just waited like I wasn't like,
- 1:16:28Speaker 3: you know, rushing her or anything, because I figured out
- 1:16:30Speaker 3: maybe she's in the middle of something. She looks up
- 1:16:33Speaker 3: and does like almost like a shoulder shrug, like what
- 1:16:36Speaker 3: like so far and I and she didn't, she didn't
- 1:16:42Speaker 3: say a word. She just gave me the shrug and
- 1:16:43Speaker 3: the kind of like and kind of Look, I'm just
- 1:16:48Speaker 3: just checking out. She just takes my card, need a receipt.
- 1:16:54Speaker 3: I go, no, we're good, and then just gave me
- 1:16:56Speaker 3: one quick, silent nod.
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: And that was it. Ye what is God?
- 1:17:01Speaker 3: That was it?
- 1:17:02Speaker 1: That was the whole interaction.
- 1:17:04Speaker 3: I go, all right, have a good one.
- 1:17:06Speaker 9: Yeah, you have to check out of hotels though I.
- 1:17:08Speaker 3: Thought no, but I was meeting Greg and Gina, and
- 1:17:12Speaker 3: you know, so I just forget. I'll just drop I'll
- 1:17:14Speaker 3: just d I don't need these stupid cards. Ill to
- 1:17:15Speaker 3: drop the off.
- 1:17:16Speaker 7: And you know, I checked out because I was I
- 1:17:18Speaker 7: thought I was being polite, but I kind of got
- 1:17:20Speaker 7: the same vibe.
- 1:17:20Speaker 1: We're disturbing her. Because it was four in the morning.
- 1:17:24Speaker 7: I go, oh, maybe they can jump in earlier. Let
- 1:17:26Speaker 7: you know, the room be available.
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: Worried about till everybody? Your room's not available till four pm.
- 1:17:33Speaker 1: We're not worried about that. Yeah. I was just like
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: being I thought I was being cool, but yeah, I
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: was bothering them.
- 1:17:39Speaker 5: Greg and I were eating cake out of a box
- 1:17:41Speaker 5: in the lobby like little raccoons, and we took a
- 1:17:44Speaker 5: couple of bites and then I brought it to her
- 1:17:45Speaker 5: and I was like, excuse me, do you know where
- 1:17:46Speaker 5: there's like a large trash can.
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: She looks at me and she goes over there, over there,
- 1:17:51Speaker 1: over there, over there.
- 1:17:52Speaker 4: I go back to her phone and then gives me
- 1:17:55Speaker 4: the attitude. When I called later, she was a.
- 1:17:57Speaker 3: Beach wa Gina lost her metasung.
- 1:18:00Speaker 5: I found him, you did, yeah, but I thought I
- 1:18:02Speaker 5: left him in the room. And I called and I said,
- 1:18:05Speaker 5: you know, is there any way someone can check? Well,
- 1:18:08Speaker 5: that room hasn't been cleaned. And I go, perfectes are
- 1:18:12Speaker 5: still there if I.
- 1:18:12Speaker 1: Left them there?
- 1:18:13Speaker 4: Run over there and check, ma'am. I said, that room
- 1:18:17Speaker 4: hasn't been cleaned.
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: Uh check.
- 1:18:20Speaker 3: I was the last person in there.
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: So far. We're on the same page. She goes, you'll
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: receive an email if you buy anything. Was that the
- 1:18:27Speaker 1: same person you dealt with when the alarm was going on, No,
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: that was a different one.
- 1:18:31Speaker 4: She was very una.
- 1:18:32Speaker 7: Yeah, if you didn't catch it. Oh my, the fire
- 1:18:35Speaker 7: alarm went off in the middle of the night.
- 1:18:37Speaker 3: Some kid pulled the fire alarm, like at eleven thirty
- 1:18:39Speaker 3: at night. I've never like, just as we had fallen asleep, like.
- 1:18:44Speaker 5: We all have tenetus now, like our ears are still ringing.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: They hurt.
- 1:18:48Speaker 4: It was insane.
- 1:18:50Speaker 3: Did the machine menace the self checkout machine ask for
- 1:18:52Speaker 3: a tip at the airport? Because I've noticed a lot
- 1:18:54Speaker 3: of them at the self checkout newsstands. I was at
- 1:18:58Speaker 3: the Philadelphia Airport self check out there and it asked
- 1:19:01Speaker 3: if I would like to leave a tip?
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't or who I know that?
- 1:19:05Speaker 3: I know that, I certainly don't.
- 1:19:07Speaker 7: I know that happens, but I don't really think it's
- 1:19:09Speaker 7: a big deal because I think it's like, you know,
- 1:19:11Speaker 7: some software they're lazy about and just don't take.
- 1:19:14Speaker 3: That they know it.
- 1:19:15Speaker 9: They're trying to get money.
- 1:19:16Speaker 4: Yeah, you don't think they want to turn out free money?
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:19:18Speaker 3: Yeah, maybe they didn't realize that at first and they go,
- 1:19:19Speaker 3: oh wait, yeah it's on there, and it would take
- 1:19:21Speaker 3: two seconds for some guy to go on the back
- 1:19:23Speaker 3: end and couple lines of code so it wouldn't show
- 1:19:27Speaker 3: up asking for a tip at the self checkout.
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: Yeah, and see best.
- 1:19:30Speaker 5: I'm actually curious on your take on this, because you know,
- 1:19:32Speaker 5: the department was it the Department of Transportation secretary or
- 1:19:35Speaker 5: one of those guys said, you know, were the reason
- 1:19:37Speaker 5: why airports suck because we don't dress nice enough for
- 1:19:39Speaker 5: the experience.
- 1:19:40Speaker 4: I mean, that's that's I have heard that, but I
- 1:19:42Speaker 4: agree with that, okay generally.
- 1:19:43Speaker 5: But I declare that the public, the flying public, is
- 1:19:48Speaker 5: dressing exactly to reflect our experience on an airplane. They're smaller,
- 1:19:53Speaker 5: they're less comfortable. Everybody's mad at us. They're throwing peanuts
- 1:19:57Speaker 5: at us and screaming.
- 1:19:58Speaker 4: At us, and certainly the truth.
- 1:19:59Speaker 5: So why would I wear my Sunday best when I'm
- 1:20:02Speaker 5: when I'm going through that like a greyhound in the sky.
- 1:20:04Speaker 4: That is, that is fair to a certain degree for
- 1:20:06Speaker 4: the pores in the back. I turned the plane.
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: That's me.
- 1:20:11Speaker 7: Oh dude, I did that. I did seat bid for
- 1:20:14Speaker 7: the first time with Spirit.
- 1:20:17Speaker 3: Yes, seat bid, So if you want an upgrade, you
- 1:20:19Speaker 3: can go on before your flight and you say, hey,
- 1:20:22Speaker 3: if this seat ends up going unsold unclaimed, I'm willing
- 1:20:26Speaker 3: to pay X number of dollars for it.
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: And if that.
- 1:20:29Speaker 3: Seat stays unclaimed, they may accept your bid, depending on
- 1:20:33Speaker 3: what the other bids come in at, and old they'll uh,
- 1:20:35Speaker 3: it's like, what do you want to pay?
- 1:20:37Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, because initially they'll say, oh, you pay you
- 1:20:41Speaker 7: know this amount, and then if no one does it,
- 1:20:44Speaker 7: then you get home.
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: So did you get it? Yeah, so I got big
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: seat up front. What do they give you a suggestion
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: on what to bid? No?
- 1:20:50Speaker 4: Like, how do you know what to pay?
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:20:53Speaker 3: Because I did it once and they did not. You
- 1:20:55Speaker 3: just tell, like what you're willing to pay for it?
- 1:20:57Speaker 5: Oh, because like the old member of the old price
- 1:20:59Speaker 5: line bidding. It's like now some would suggest.
- 1:21:02Speaker 13: Yeah, doing five would get it for like five dollars.
- 1:21:05Speaker 3: No, they'll never give it to you for five.
- 1:21:08Speaker 1: Maybe maybe the twenty four dollars ones.
- 1:21:11Speaker 3: Oh, there's a friend of mine. He was just up
- 1:21:15Speaker 3: for a job. He was supposed to have a phone
- 1:21:17Speaker 3: call where you know, he knew the offer was coming in,
- 1:21:19Speaker 3: but they wanted to talk money. I'll call you on
- 1:21:22Speaker 3: Monday and have a number for me. I'm like, what
- 1:21:25Speaker 3: do you mean he wants that? He wants you to
- 1:21:27Speaker 3: have a number for him. Like, no, you don't give
- 1:21:29Speaker 3: him the number? Like you don't you don't tell the employee,
- 1:21:32Speaker 3: You don't tell the car dealer your number. Yeah, Like,
- 1:21:36Speaker 3: what is it?
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: What is it?
- 1:21:37Speaker 3: What's the deal you can give me on this car?
- 1:21:39Speaker 3: What's the what does this job pay? Give me the
- 1:21:42Speaker 3: number and I'll tell you if it's workable.
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: Or not so bad.
- 1:21:44Speaker 3: It's backwards because like they're waiting for you to undercut yourself.
- 1:21:48Speaker 5: Yes, yeah, and they can check and see what you
- 1:21:50Speaker 5: made at your previous job.
- 1:21:51Speaker 4: So you're double screwed.
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: How can't they have no?
- 1:21:56Speaker 3: Where were they checked for that? You can't even as No,
- 1:21:58Speaker 3: they're like if they know somebody, they'll.
- 1:22:00Speaker 4: Ask you, like what was your what did you get
- 1:22:03Speaker 4: at the last job?
- 1:22:04Speaker 1: Like you haven't heard of anyone doing this?
- 1:22:05Speaker 3: Well if you give him that, if you give him
- 1:22:07Speaker 3: that answer.
- 1:22:08Speaker 1: Sometimes when you're applying for jobs, it will last. Yeah,
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: you're your past salary.
- 1:22:12Speaker 3: I would I would never put that information in there,
- 1:22:14Speaker 3: but never outside of our type of job.
- 1:22:16Speaker 14: That's pretty much public knowledge. Like site like glass Door
- 1:22:19Speaker 14: have ranges and stuff.
- 1:22:20Speaker 3: Sure, I mean you can go on and find a
- 1:22:21Speaker 3: range for any any any occupation. But I'm not going
- 1:22:25Speaker 3: to get I'm not going to give it to you.
- 1:22:26Speaker 3: Just you know what the budget is, you have a
- 1:22:29Speaker 3: number of mine, you tell me. So I told him,
- 1:22:31Speaker 3: I said, hey, just tell him. You need to tell
- 1:22:34Speaker 3: me what the job pays, and then I could tell
- 1:22:36Speaker 3: you if this is even a conversation or not, Like
- 1:22:38Speaker 3: clearly you're you're offering me this job because he went
- 1:22:41Speaker 3: through the whole thing about interviewing with this person and
- 1:22:44Speaker 3: talking to uh the morning show that they were hiring
- 1:22:47Speaker 3: because he was applying to be a producer, talk to
- 1:22:50Speaker 3: them about everybody fell in love with each other. They
- 1:22:52Speaker 3: thought it was great. They think he's great, and they
- 1:22:54Speaker 3: even said, oh, they noted his experience and how long
- 1:22:57Speaker 3: he's been doing this in these big shows that he's
- 1:22:59Speaker 3: worked on and different and they clearly want you there.
- 1:23:02Speaker 3: They think you're the best person for the job. That's
- 1:23:03Speaker 3: why they're offering you the job. Don't sell yourself short.
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: Let them.
- 1:23:08Speaker 3: Let them make you an offer what they think you
- 1:23:11Speaker 3: based on all that they've heard, they've learned about what
- 1:23:13Speaker 3: you are worth, and then from there you can decide
- 1:23:15Speaker 3: if they are worth your time.
- 1:23:17Speaker 5: Now, someone like me would probably think, oh, they're going
- 1:23:21Speaker 5: to think of being difficult, it's going to be a
- 1:23:22Speaker 5: whole thing.
- 1:23:23Speaker 3: Well, then you're gonna screw yourself now. But you never
- 1:23:25Speaker 3: give them that number.
- 1:23:26Speaker 7: My move, though, is I always do like ten x
- 1:23:29Speaker 7: of whatever it is. Yeah, they go like, how much
- 1:23:31Speaker 7: would you do this for? And I'll just throw out
- 1:23:33Speaker 7: like some crazy number number and then they'll come back
- 1:23:36Speaker 7: with the different Oh, you're like, oh, that's way harder
- 1:23:38Speaker 7: than I would have Really.
- 1:23:40Speaker 3: I always you always do that in a negotiation, you
- 1:23:43Speaker 3: throw out something crazy high, Like if you're the person
- 1:23:46Speaker 3: you know that being hired, you would throw out something
- 1:23:49Speaker 3: crazy like if they come to you and they go, oh,
- 1:23:51Speaker 3: well the job pays X, you go oh no, and
- 1:23:55Speaker 3: you throw out something crazy high. So they come back
- 1:23:59Speaker 3: to you basically with best off because they go, oh, well,
- 1:24:01Speaker 3: their expectation was way more than what we came in
- 1:24:03Speaker 3: with R, and so you're gonna get way closer to
- 1:24:06Speaker 3: what their their drop dead number is doing it that way,
- 1:24:10Speaker 3: or you're just gonna piss him off.
- 1:24:11Speaker 1: That's you know.
- 1:24:13Speaker 3: But then it's not. It's not supposed to work out.
- 1:24:15Speaker 4: That's not your company.
- 1:24:16Speaker 3: It's like, yeah, like a buddy of mine was just
- 1:24:18Speaker 3: negotiating for a house and he insulted the guy because
- 1:24:21Speaker 3: the guy was asking way too much for this house,
- 1:24:24Speaker 3: and so he threw out a number that was way
- 1:24:26Speaker 3: too low, and the guy was mad. He goes, well,
- 1:24:29Speaker 3: you know, I thought you're your uh, your number was
- 1:24:31Speaker 3: pretty ridiculous as well. Yeah, let's come somewhere in the
- 1:24:34Speaker 3: middle here, and they did, and they oh yeah, the
- 1:24:38Speaker 3: art of the deal exactly. Yeah, but it sucks because
- 1:24:41Speaker 3: people don't like that confrontation.
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: They don't like that. Eight seven.
- 1:24:48Speaker 3: You can hit us up with the text over to
- 1:24:49Speaker 3: two two nine eight seven. We're gonna take a break.
- 1:24:52Speaker 3: And has anybody heard from Joe koy not.
- 1:24:55Speaker 9: Yet still waiting is joining us? He should be? Oh
- 1:24:58Speaker 9: he just got here. Thanks, yep.
- 1:25:01Speaker 3: Yeah, well so Joe coys here who.
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: He puts the g in Garcia? So call sports which Garcy?
- 1:25:15Speaker 3: Hey goome onrning, Jeff g Good morning, what's going on
- 1:25:17Speaker 3: with the show?
- 1:25:18Speaker 1: Happy Monday to everybody. Lakers up and down season continues.
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: Big win on Friday in DC and then last night
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: a bad loss in New York against the Knicks. Here
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: is Lakers center DeAndre Ayton, honestly coming on in the
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: second half, the making shots and you know we were
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: missing ours. That was a big difference. You know, I
- 1:25:37Speaker 1: brought them momentum.
- 1:25:38Speaker 11: Another horrible third quarter is what did in the Lakers.
- 1:25:40Speaker 11: No shooting, bad defense, same old story. Lakers in Brooklyn tomorrow.
- 1:25:45Speaker 11: By the way, he shout out to Lebron James. He
- 1:25:48Speaker 11: was named to the All Star Reserves twenty second straight season,
- 1:25:51Speaker 11: Lebrono appear in the All Star Game. Now, speaking of
- 1:25:55Speaker 11: the All Star Game, it'll be in town and a
- 1:25:57Speaker 11: couple of weeks and the Clippers are hosting the game.
- 1:26:00Speaker 11: But they have no All Stars on the team, which
- 1:26:03Speaker 11: is such a Clippers thing. But in all seriousness, Kawhi
- 1:26:06Speaker 11: Leonards should be on the All Star team. He's having
- 1:26:08Speaker 11: a great season and he's actually played more games than
- 1:26:11Speaker 11: Lebron James this season. Maybe an injury substitutional get Kwi
- 1:26:14Speaker 11: on the squad. Moving on to the Clippers game. They
- 1:26:17Speaker 11: beat the Suns yesterday one seventeen to ninety three.
- 1:26:20Speaker 6: Kawhi picked up by Brooks Rises for the three all
- 1:26:25Speaker 6: for Kawai.
- 1:26:27Speaker 11: Kwi had twenty five Clippers and seventy six ers tonight
- 1:26:30Speaker 11: at seven pm at the into A Dome NHL Kings
- 1:26:33Speaker 11: loss of the Hurricanes. Ducks beat in the Vegas Knights
- 1:26:35Speaker 11: yesterday four to three, and finally this morning, a little
- 1:26:38Speaker 11: bit of boxing. Jirell Big Baby Miller got hit so
- 1:26:41Speaker 11: hard this weekend when he showed his boxing match that
- 1:26:44Speaker 11: is to pay flew up off of his head. Apparently
- 1:26:47Speaker 11: he burned off his hair when he mistook ammonium bleach
- 1:26:51Speaker 11: for shampoo. He literally burned off all his hair and
- 1:26:54Speaker 11: he put it to pay on to cover it up.
- 1:26:55Speaker 1: Good news for him, he actually won the fight and
- 1:26:58Speaker 1: afterwards he threw his two pay out to the crowd.
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: I have a great day. I'm Jeff G. And that'

- 1:27:25Speaker 3: guy he is. You're you're you're big enough, you're rich
- 1:27:28Speaker 3: enough now that you can certainly afford to have somebody
- 1:27:30Speaker 3: carry that box for you.
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: But no, he doesn't out myself. You're huffing and puffing.
- 1:27:35Speaker 3: Yeah, brought a bunch of suff Hi, Joe.
- 1:27:37Speaker 2: I had like a huge box of stuff to bring
- 1:27:39Speaker 2: to you, and you guys bring me Sam.
- 1:27:41Speaker 4: I couldn't help them at all, the size.
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: Of the boxes. You want me to help like, She's
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: just put her finger.
- 1:27:46Speaker 4: Like get inside of it.
- 1:27:49Speaker 3: Well, Hi, Joe, how are you?
- 1:27:50Speaker 1: I'm good now, dude.
- 1:27:52Speaker 3: Things are like I don't know, is it like a
- 1:27:55Speaker 3: dream because there's so many things happening with with Joe Coy.
- 1:27:58Speaker 3: I mean, of course is out thirty doing is just
- 1:28:01Speaker 3: being Koy Tour, which is gonna be hitting a couple

- 1:28:32Speaker 3: two huge comedians and that's a big venue. And I

- 1:29:03Speaker 3: Does that happen often often for you? I mean like
- 1:29:06Speaker 3: where you kind of catch yourself and it just had
- 1:29:08Speaker 3: a private moment.
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:29:10Speaker 2: There was one time my hometown Tacoma, and and I
- 1:29:13Speaker 2: sold out the Tacoma Dome. It's like twenty two thousand,
- 1:29:16Speaker 2: and it was my hometown. That was like one of
- 1:29:18Speaker 2: those what's going on right now?
- 1:29:19Speaker 4: That means more than anything, right, we sell the hometown show.
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: Yeah, especially because my school was right there.
- 1:29:25Speaker 2: All my high school friends came and it was just
- 1:29:28Speaker 2: I'm like, what is this?
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: This is nuts? Yeah, is crazy? This one's crazy.
- 1:29:33Speaker 14: Now that you have sold out Sofi Stadium, can we

- 1:30:48Speaker 3: hammer and nail.
- 1:30:49Speaker 2: Every time I I FaceTime, it's it's he's innocent. It's
- 1:30:53Speaker 2: like a it's like a sitcom, buddy.
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: I was like, I just got stuck by bees.
- 1:31:00Speaker 10: What yeah, you know?
- 1:31:01Speaker 2: Me camping the episode? This time like what time I
- 1:31:07Speaker 2: called him? And it was kids were jumping in the pool.
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: Kids were jumping the pool and what about you? Now,
- 1:31:11Speaker 2: I'm just here until they get tired. Ya, just waiting
- 1:31:14Speaker 2: for them to get tired.
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: And then this time it.
- 1:31:15Speaker 3: Was, but I always pick up your call, Yeah you did.
- 1:31:18Speaker 2: This time he picked up and there's this man massaging
- 1:31:21Speaker 2: his face and he had a warm towel no glasses
- 1:31:27Speaker 2: off by the way, the glass Like, I was like,
- 1:31:30Speaker 2: who's this.
- 1:31:31Speaker 4: Yeah, he looks so different.
- 1:31:32Speaker 2: He's like, because this is the greatest life.
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: This is a man's Oh man, what'd you call it?
- 1:31:42Speaker 2: It was like, it's like a man man man's spat.
- 1:31:47Speaker 2: They shave your beard and put dirt under your nails. Yeah, dude,
- 1:31:52Speaker 2: it's the greatest place.
- 1:31:54Speaker 3: I go once a week, and you know, you can
- 1:31:56Speaker 3: buy like a membership and you can go in there,
- 1:31:58Speaker 3: like depends on the membership, but you can go every
- 1:32:00Speaker 3: day and like, you know, Greg would love it because
- 1:32:01Speaker 3: he can get his haircut every day, or you can
- 1:32:04Speaker 3: go in there. I go once a week and they
- 1:32:06Speaker 3: line up the beer they get like the hot lather,
- 1:32:08Speaker 3: like the straight razor shave. It's it's fantastic realizing. It's
- 1:32:11Speaker 3: called about Box Sports. You walk in, they've got a
- 1:32:16Speaker 3: they got a full bar there. They ask you when
- 1:32:18Speaker 3: you sign up, like, hey, what's your drinking choice? They
- 1:32:20Speaker 3: always make sure they have your drinking choice ready for you,
- 1:32:22Speaker 3: and you sit down, they get the hot towel going, dude,
- 1:32:24Speaker 3: it's fantastic. It's called Hammer and Nails. They have locations
- 1:32:27Speaker 3: across the country.
- 1:32:28Speaker 1: What about nails. Yeah, and then slip some tires. Yeah.
- 1:32:34Speaker 3: Yeah, you got you gotta make you got to make
- 1:32:36Speaker 3: some of these dudes who are.
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: A little Uh, you want me to.
- 1:32:42Speaker 3: Want me to Brazilian?
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: Yeah? Do you want me to line you up?
- 1:32:45Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: You want a light save? Yeah.
- 1:32:47Speaker 3: So I'm sitting there, but of course I always take
- 1:32:50Speaker 3: Joe's call, and uh, I'm sitting there and getting my
- 1:32:53Speaker 3: my straight razor shave and he calls. He's like, hey, man,
- 1:32:55Speaker 3: I got something really important to talk to you about.
- 1:32:58Speaker 3: I said, all right, So as soon as I got out,
- 1:33:00Speaker 3: I called and he didn't pick up my call. So
- 1:33:03Speaker 3: then I called him back again. I called him back.
- 1:33:07Speaker 3: I caught him back again. We're both very busy people,
- 1:33:09Speaker 3: but I caught it back again and he told me
- 1:33:12Speaker 3: and this is this is super cool man. And again
- 1:33:14Speaker 3: it's it's weird, like I have a handful of friends
- 1:33:17Speaker 3: right now who have some really cool, exciting things going
- 1:33:19Speaker 3: on in their lives, and it's like I find myself
- 1:33:21Speaker 3: getting somewhat like emotional for them, like I'm so I'm
- 1:33:26Speaker 3: so happy for you. Joe is getting honored at the
- 1:33:33Speaker 3: TCL Chinese Theater where you put your handprints and your
- 1:33:37Speaker 3: footprints in the cement, which is like that is so
- 1:33:40Speaker 3: old time Hollywood that that is like that's classic. That
- 1:33:43Speaker 3: getting like a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame,
- 1:33:45Speaker 3: Like there are just certain things like that means that
- 1:33:47Speaker 3: that's like real, I've made it kind of stuff.
- 1:33:51Speaker 5: So sick of people using the word iconic, because they're
- 1:33:54Speaker 5: using it this is iconic.
- 1:33:56Speaker 3: Yeah, so that's what that means. He's getting They call
- 1:33:59Speaker 3: it a hand in footprint ceremony, right, and so he's
- 1:34:02Speaker 3: gonna be having his his hands and his feet in
- 1:34:05Speaker 3: the in the concrete there, And I was like, wow,
- 1:34:08Speaker 3: that's really cool. And then he stopped me in my
- 1:34:10Speaker 3: tracks and I still it's it's yeah, it's a it's
- 1:34:15Speaker 3: it's really cool. I'm honored that you asked me to
- 1:34:17Speaker 3: do it. But he asked me to m c his event,
- 1:34:20Speaker 3: like his induction.
- 1:34:21Speaker 10: Damn.
- 1:34:22Speaker 1: My eyes are like.
- 1:34:24Speaker 3: Like, honestly, I love I'm so happy for you. I'm
- 1:34:29Speaker 3: so happy for you. And uh also petrified of hosting this.
- 1:34:34Speaker 4: Yeah, he gets really nervous, dude.
- 1:34:37Speaker 3: You know, I've told you about when we have guests
- 1:34:39Speaker 3: and like my whole concern is like are they having
- 1:34:40Speaker 3: a good time? This is such a big deal. No,
- 1:34:44Speaker 3: this is this is this is such a legit big
- 1:34:47Speaker 3: deal that I'm I'm more worried about screwing up your moment.
- 1:34:51Speaker 1: No, No, I had. I'm so happy. I'm so happy,
- 1:34:54Speaker 1: I am. I'm I'm so happy for you. I had.
- 1:34:58Speaker 2: You were the first person I thought of too when Yeah,
- 1:35:00Speaker 2: when they asked, is that true, that was the first thing.
- 1:35:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:35:05Speaker 3: And I know how they normally asked for these things.
- 1:35:07Speaker 3: It's not us.
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: You can even ask menace. Yeah, I asked menace and uh.
- 1:35:14Speaker 3: He said no.
- 1:35:14Speaker 1: And then he called me.
- 1:35:15Speaker 2: He goes, he goes, good luck. You know how long
- 1:35:21Speaker 2: it took you by, right, But uh, but I called
- 1:35:27Speaker 2: you and yeah, he said the same thing.
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: You know that you like, you get nervous on situations like.
- 1:35:33Speaker 3: Well, I get nervous do that.
- 1:35:34Speaker 7: I said, I couldn't you know, say one hundred percent
- 1:35:37Speaker 7: that you would do it. I said that you would
- 1:35:38Speaker 7: be reluctant at first, but you would probably.
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: Yeah, end up doing well.
- 1:35:42Speaker 3: Of course I'm going to say yes, and like, no,
- 1:35:45Speaker 3: it's because of the weight of the moment for you,
- 1:35:48Speaker 3: Like I don't you know.
- 1:35:49Speaker 4: Can you handle this responsibility?
- 1:35:52Speaker 1: You know? That's what I mean, Like that's the question.
- 1:35:54Speaker 3: Yeah, So, I mean I take the I take the
- 1:35:56Speaker 3: responsibility of it very seriously. So like I I want
- 1:36:00Speaker 3: this to be a great moment for you, which is
- 1:36:03Speaker 3: it's gonna be. It's gonna Tiffany has is one of
- 1:36:05Speaker 3: the yuest speakers. He's happening next Wednesday, February the eleventh
- 1:36:11Speaker 3: at the TCL Chinese Theater. I mean, what do I wear?
- 1:36:14Speaker 3: I don't even like what.
- 1:36:16Speaker 4: People around there? Spider Man suits.
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: You could do this, Steve I playing Sponge right here, and.
- 1:36:28Speaker 3: I could dress the sixteenth like Mickey Mouse, but be like,
- 1:36:32Speaker 3: what do you wear? Honestly, like that's the one that's
- 1:36:34Speaker 3: the one big thing?
- 1:36:35Speaker 1: Say just be you man.
- 1:36:36Speaker 3: I don't say that, but you know you got you
- 1:36:38Speaker 3: gotta you gotta give me some real guidelines Steelers sweatshirt, where.
- 1:36:42Speaker 1: You're all everything that you always do.
- 1:36:44Speaker 14: He needs a style if you want, we need to
- 1:36:46Speaker 14: be a good public speaker. Get him real drunk beforehand.
- 1:36:49Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean the ceremony might be extra long.
- 1:36:53Speaker 3: See, and that's why this is why I don't really
- 1:36:54Speaker 3: do that stuff.
- 1:36:55Speaker 1: Famoustivity I had. Yeah, No, we'll get them some beta blockers.
- 1:37:02Speaker 1: We'll be good.
- 1:37:03Speaker 3: Yeah, Yeah, I'm just super we you know, we had
- 1:37:09Speaker 3: you in years ago. And you know, man, I tell you, dude,
- 1:37:13Speaker 3: like your your whole career and just your life in
- 1:37:16Speaker 3: general has been on this rocket ship ride.
- 1:37:18Speaker 1: You've been there for my ups and my down.
- 1:37:22Speaker 3: So whacked up has there been down? There's actually there
- 1:37:27Speaker 3: was something I heard about there someone's opening a museum
- 1:37:30Speaker 3: of failure or something, and so it's supposed to serve
- 1:37:32Speaker 3: as like a US as inspiration for people. Like, look,
- 1:37:38Speaker 3: everybody had that moment where like, you know, like something
- 1:37:40Speaker 3: that represented like a like a bad you know moment
- 1:37:43Speaker 3: in their life or like something that didn't go the
- 1:37:45Speaker 3: way that they thought it was going to go. But
- 1:37:47Speaker 3: they but they overcame that. But honestly, like from the outside,
- 1:37:51Speaker 3: from the outside looking in, dude, like it just seems
- 1:37:53Speaker 3: that it's been all and up and up, from you know,
- 1:37:56Speaker 3: the the getting bigger and bigger venues to now you
- 1:37:59Speaker 3: sold out Sofi Stadium, to the book, the movie like
- 1:38:04Speaker 3: just you're getting your you know, hand and footprint ceremony
- 1:38:08Speaker 3: at the TCL Chinese Theaters. Just like it's it's crazy.
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: I can't wait. Yeah, I deserved because like Joe's a
- 1:38:14Speaker 1: hard worker.
- 1:38:15Speaker 5: Well, and not only does he have this unbelievable story,
- 1:38:18Speaker 5: but the reason why I don't think we know the
- 1:38:20Speaker 5: downs is because Joe doesn't bitch about anything.
- 1:38:23Speaker 4: He's just he's just a positive guy.
- 1:38:26Speaker 1: Yeah. I did.
- 1:38:26Speaker 3: I did say something about like watching your Instagram, like
- 1:38:31Speaker 3: you have a good time all the time, like every
- 1:38:35Speaker 3: day seems to be the most fun day of your life.
- 1:38:38Speaker 1: Yeah. I made I made an effort to do that.
- 1:38:42Speaker 1: Now too late.
- 1:38:42Speaker 2: I told my son, I go, I'm taking less gigs
- 1:38:45Speaker 2: on the road, especially in the summer. I said that
- 1:38:47Speaker 2: to him this year. Yeah, I'm like, yeah, man, like
- 1:38:49Speaker 2: we we you know, we did Europe together and it
- 1:38:51Speaker 2: was like okay, we woke up in Amsterdam and then
- 1:38:53Speaker 2: we and then we got on a plane and flew
- 1:38:55Speaker 2: to uh uh, let's just say Berlin, right. I don't
- 1:38:59Speaker 2: know the schedule. I remember it was two cities in
- 1:39:01Speaker 2: twenty four hours.
- 1:39:02Speaker 1: And I'm like, dude, this isn't fun.
- 1:39:04Speaker 2: Like like we're just we're just we're not we're just
- 1:39:07Speaker 2: sleeping and like we get to say we're in Europe,
- 1:39:09Speaker 2: but we're not in.
- 1:39:09Speaker 1: Europe, right.
- 1:39:11Speaker 2: I bought a plane ticket. Yeah, and that's what happened
- 1:39:14Speaker 2: last year. I bought a ticket and I go, we're, well,
- 1:39:17Speaker 2: we'll decide when we go back home, like we we
- 1:39:20Speaker 2: deserve this.
- 1:39:20Speaker 1: So that's cool.
- 1:39:21Speaker 7: Yeah, I got to spend that day with you in Pittsburgh,
- 1:39:23Speaker 7: and it's just a fun vibe because you're just checking
- 1:39:27Speaker 7: out every city. Yeah, you have your friends and your
- 1:39:29Speaker 7: family with you the entire time, and then you're just
- 1:39:33Speaker 7: like really enjoy ourselves.
- 1:39:36Speaker 1: No, it really is like yeah, neighborhood.
- 1:39:38Speaker 2: I think that's how it should always be. Like, I mean,
- 1:39:41Speaker 2: we were in a position where we forget that this
- 1:39:43Speaker 2: isn't a job. You guys get to wake up every
- 1:39:47Speaker 2: morning and talk on microphones. Bro, this is like a
- 1:39:49Speaker 2: dream job.
- 1:39:50Speaker 1: It's you don't no, but you know what I mean.
- 1:39:53Speaker 1: Like some people are like I gotta get up. It's like, man, no,
- 1:39:55Speaker 1: I'm like, I gotta get up. I can't wait. This
- 1:39:58Speaker 1: is this is not working for me. You get I'll

- 1:41:11Speaker 1: Yeah, there's Sergeant you guys, he's been here the longest. Yeah.
- 1:41:15Speaker 3: Yeah, Joe Koy is here and again he's on his

- 1:41:23Speaker 3: You know a lot of people podcasting from different cities,

- 1:41:54Speaker 1: I'll be on the fifty yard line. Everybody.
- 1:41:56Speaker 3: Oh, it's our redemption.
- 1:41:58Speaker 10: You know.
- 1:41:58Speaker 2: I was at the you know, I'm from Seattle, right
- 1:42:00Speaker 2: and I went to the last one. I think that
- 1:42:01Speaker 2: was ten years ago.
- 1:42:03Speaker 1: But the interception on the one of the one yard
- 1:42:06Speaker 1: Carol called that. Yep, it's a great idea. Yeah, so
- 1:42:11Speaker 1: three shots, let's throw it.
- 1:42:12Speaker 3: Yeah, so you're you're going to the game.
- 1:42:14Speaker 1: Oh yeah, this is gonna be uh this is how

- 1:42:18Speaker 3: Yeah, I know, but like do you fly like into
- 1:42:21Speaker 3: because like everybody talks about like just what a mess?
- 1:42:24Speaker 1: I think we're just getting there.
- 1:42:26Speaker 3: Yeah, just getting their part is supposed to be like

- 1:42:39Speaker 3: fly there, it's crazy to try to get because they
- 1:42:42Speaker 3: have to slot you in.
- 1:42:44Speaker 1: There's so many planes coming.
- 1:42:45Speaker 3: There's so many planes coming in, and they give you
- 1:42:47Speaker 3: like a fifteen minute window and if you don't make
- 1:42:49Speaker 3: that fifteen minutes, you're out.
- 1:42:50Speaker 1: You're bakers. And yeah, and then they.
- 1:42:52Speaker 3: Send you in to some like alternate somewhere, and and
- 1:42:57Speaker 3: the fee they charge you just to land, I think
- 1:42:59Speaker 3: it starts at five thousand.
- 1:43:02Speaker 1: Just to land.
- 1:43:03Speaker 3: What to get one of the slots will cost you
- 1:43:05Speaker 3: like minimum five grand. Good gods, small ass plane if
- 1:43:09Speaker 3: you have like a bigger plane like some of these
- 1:43:11Speaker 3: like corporate jets and stuff coming in. They're charging fifteen
- 1:43:13Speaker 3: twenty grand.
- 1:43:14Speaker 1: Just to land. That's why I'm landing, just to land.
- 1:43:17Speaker 1: Gilroy down the road. I smart. Yeah, you know I
- 1:43:20Speaker 1: was on a plane that was on fire. That was
- 1:43:22Speaker 1: l Yeah, yeah, you know. We just found out why
- 1:43:25Speaker 1: it took us so long to land in Japan.
- 1:43:27Speaker 2: They finally told us they want to let us land
- 1:43:30Speaker 2: because of you know, the the visas and stuff to
- 1:43:33Speaker 2: get into real Yeah, was.
- 1:43:35Speaker 1: Paperwork that could paper planes on fire. Left it on fire.
- 1:43:41Speaker 3: But they're worried about paperwork. That's ground control.
- 1:43:44Speaker 1: Just nah, you don't have papers.
- 1:43:49Speaker 3: And you know you see like at the zoo they
- 1:43:51Speaker 3: have like the octopus or whatever, it chooses who wins
- 1:43:53Speaker 3: the zeper. Well, we're going to find out. We have
- 1:43:55Speaker 3: a special guest. Oh yeah, who's gonna be here. It's
- 1:43:58Speaker 3: a special animal friend of ours, who is going to
- 1:44:02Speaker 3: choose and tell us all who will win the Super
- 1:44:04Speaker 3: Bowl on Sunday.
- 1:44:05Speaker 1: Wait, oh, the animal choose. The animal chooses. Have you
- 1:44:09Speaker 1: seen those? It's like a thing. Yeah, I've never seen ever.
- 1:44:12Speaker 3: They'll put like a Seahawks whatever out there, and then
- 1:44:15Speaker 3: a Patriots whatever and whichever won the The bear like yes,
- 1:44:21Speaker 3: we have a special animal friend who will join us
- 1:44:23Speaker 3: with Joe Coy after the break Raccoon here.
- 1:44:25Speaker 1: On the show. We'll be right back show. Why are
- 1:44:35Speaker 1: you so on edge? Joe?
- 1:44:36Speaker 3: Joe Coy is here.
- 1:44:39Speaker 1: I thought it was going to be a snake the animal. Yeah,
- 1:44:42Speaker 1: I thought the animal was.
- 1:44:43Speaker 3: Going there was like, you know, like snakes. Why did
- 1:44:46Speaker 3: you have a bad experience with one or just generally
- 1:44:48Speaker 3: creepy out?
- 1:44:49Speaker 1: I don't know, man, it's just the way they move.
- 1:44:51Speaker 1: I don't understand it. Yeah, I don't get it. How
- 1:44:54Speaker 1: did you get across.
- 1:44:56Speaker 10: That fast?
- 1:44:58Speaker 1: I can't it makes I can't.
- 1:45:01Speaker 4: Yeah, but they want to give you a little kiss
- 1:45:04Speaker 4: with their man.
- 1:45:06Speaker 1: Uh huh.
- 1:45:08Speaker 3: So the live animals, Yeah, yeah, yeah, all right, so
- 1:45:12Speaker 3: no no snakes, nokes, any other any other animals. That
- 1:45:17Speaker 3: make sure that get because it just so happened to be.
- 1:45:20Speaker 3: It's the beginning of super Bowl week and you were
- 1:45:22Speaker 3: going to be here and then yeah, yeah, so like
- 1:45:25Speaker 3: we are, we already had this booked. We already had
- 1:45:27Speaker 3: this this animal guest book.
- 1:45:28Speaker 1: So you booked, is what you're saying.
- 1:45:30Speaker 3: No, No, it's not it's not a snake. I'll tell
- 1:45:32Speaker 3: you it's not a snake. It's not a snake.
- 1:45:35Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:45:35Speaker 3: So what we're doing here is, you know, you see it.
- 1:45:37Speaker 3: Every time the Super Bowl rolls around, they have like
- 1:45:40Speaker 3: a zoo somewhere.
- 1:45:41Speaker 1: News to go to the zoo.
- 1:45:42Speaker 14: They got like a big, a big watermelon with the
- 1:45:46Speaker 14: Seahawks logo on it, and watermelon with the Patriots logo
- 1:45:48Speaker 14: on it.
- 1:45:48Speaker 5: When we see which one of the hippo eats, right right,
- 1:45:51Speaker 5: that's supposed to determine who's gonna yeah.
- 1:45:53Speaker 2: Yeah, So now you have a plate of food I
- 1:45:55Speaker 2: can tell you can I say the brands all.
- 1:45:59Speaker 1: Animal? Well there there's there's tenders all right, yeah.
- 1:46:03Speaker 2: Well, and then there's a tortilla tortilla and I'm not
- 1:46:06Speaker 2: gonna see correctly because I could tell that's a fast
- 1:46:09Speaker 2: food tortilla.
- 1:46:10Speaker 4: Okay, So the Seahawks, we're gonna do the same thing.
- 1:46:13Speaker 14: Our animal's gonna come in and the animal is not
- 1:46:14Speaker 14: gonna know you know this, but it's gonna eat one
- 1:46:16Speaker 14: of these plates full of food. Whichever that animal eats
- 1:46:19Speaker 14: is who's gonna win. So the the chicken plate Joe
- 1:46:22Speaker 14: is of course a bird like the Seahawks and the tortillas.
- 1:46:27Speaker 14: The Mexican food is of course, representing the Patriots.
- 1:46:29Speaker 4: Oh yeah, okay, it's anonymous for food.
- 1:46:35Speaker 14: Yeah, alright, So actually I picked both of these two
- 1:46:40Speaker 14: plates of food because I happen to know that the
- 1:46:42Speaker 14: animal absolutely loves both of these things.
- 1:46:46Speaker 4: Really, there's no like, Yeah, there's no like. The scent
- 1:46:50Speaker 4: won't turn off the animal.
- 1:46:51Speaker 1: So this animal loves the special sauce.
- 1:46:54Speaker 4: Yeah, it's not like one's one's chicken and one's broccoli. Right, animal,
- 1:46:58Speaker 4: I know the animal loves these things absolutely.
- 1:47:01Speaker 3: Yeah, let's let's go ahead, and Sammy's got the animal area, alright.
- 1:47:05Speaker 1: He's the handler.
- 1:47:06Speaker 3: All Right, here we go, let's find out who wins,

- 1:48:58Speaker 1: You hear what we're saying. We turned it off.
- 1:49:01Speaker 9: We weren't prepared for that.
- 1:49:03Speaker 14: But yeah, on your left and on your right are
- 1:49:05Speaker 14: two options, menaced the dog. One represents the Seahawks. One
- 1:49:07Speaker 14: represents the Patriots.
- 1:49:08Speaker 1: I wish I knew my left and my right, but
- 1:49:12Speaker 1: I forgot using your dog's asses, your mouth, and your tongue.
- 1:49:17Speaker 14: If you want to give two different places of food,
- 1:49:18Speaker 14: I want to tell us what you get over there?
- 1:49:20Speaker 3: Yeah, like, what are you sensing?
- 1:49:21Speaker 12: What?

- 1:54:51Speaker 3: hence why he wasn't doing the traffic and also why
- 1:54:54Speaker 3: Gina grad is filling in on the local news.
- 1:54:56Speaker 5: Well, California is talking about studying a new way to
- 1:54:58Speaker 5: get more money for row. This is probably gonna hurt
- 1:55:01Speaker 5: Menace more than anyone else I know or have ever. Now, yeah,
- 1:55:05Speaker 5: this system would charge people based on how many miles
- 1:55:07Speaker 5: they drive instead of how much gas they.
- 1:55:09Speaker 3: They say, somewhere, but it's going to be somewhere between
- 1:55:12Speaker 3: two and six cents per mile that you drive every year,
- 1:55:16Speaker 3: and you're just going to get a bill at the
- 1:55:18Speaker 3: end of every year. After you submit, you have to
- 1:55:20Speaker 3: go to somewhere and they'll look at your odometer from
- 1:55:23Speaker 3: last year to this year, figure out how many miles
- 1:55:25Speaker 3: you drove, and then they're going to give you a bill.
- 1:55:27Speaker 1: They say it'll.
- 1:55:28Speaker 3: Cost families somewhere between two and four thousand dollars per year.
- 1:55:33Speaker 3: And oh, they must be getting rid of the gas tax.
- 1:55:36Speaker 1: Then, oh, we know.
- 1:55:38Speaker 3: That'll still be around. But this is just a new
- 1:55:40Speaker 3: thing that the state of California wants to charge. Will
- 1:55:42Speaker 3: only hurt like super rich people. Oh wait, they don't
- 1:55:45Speaker 3: commute that far.
- 1:55:47Speaker 5: Yeah, And there are supporters and they say that this
- 1:55:49Speaker 5: is great, sup borders. It's going to help people nudge
- 1:55:52Speaker 5: them toward electric cards, which everyone can afford.
- 1:55:54Speaker 3: You know, that's the reason they're doing this is because
- 1:55:56Speaker 3: they're not bringing in that revenue. Is mentioned in the
- 1:55:58Speaker 3: article that I was reading this thing just by the way,
- 1:56:00Speaker 3: they just did a vote on it, I think this
- 1:56:01Speaker 3: past Friday, So there was just something that they just.
- 1:56:04Speaker 1: Voted the cars like a year and a half.
- 1:56:07Speaker 3: So this this vote, this vote doesn't mean this goes
- 1:56:10Speaker 3: into effect now. It just means that now they've told
- 1:56:13Speaker 3: the people, the lawmakers and stuff to come up with
- 1:56:16Speaker 3: a system of right, how do we how do we
- 1:56:19Speaker 3: build for this, how do we check people's O dometers
- 1:56:22Speaker 3: the process?
- 1:56:23Speaker 1: Now?
- 1:56:24Speaker 3: So they're like, okay, we're going to do this. Now,
- 1:56:26Speaker 3: let's figure out how we do it, and then they
- 1:56:28Speaker 3: think it'll be implemented sometime probably the end of twenty
- 1:56:31Speaker 3: twenty seven or beginning of twenty twenty.
- 1:56:33Speaker 1: Crazy.
- 1:56:34Speaker 5: Remember the road diet, the quote unquote road diet. They
- 1:56:36Speaker 5: just make the roads thinner and thinner and smaller and
- 1:56:38Speaker 5: smaller till everyone just says, screw, We'll get out a bicycle.
- 1:56:41Speaker 1: Did that work?
- 1:56:43Speaker 3: But yeah, this is in reaction to California has so
- 1:56:47Speaker 3: many people that went either hybrid or full electric that
- 1:56:50Speaker 3: now they're not collecting the same amount of gas tax revenue,
- 1:56:54Speaker 3: so now they do, they're always going to get their money.
- 1:56:56Speaker 3: Guys like you can you could say that you're not
- 1:56:58Speaker 3: going to know use gas anymore and it's gonna save
- 1:57:01Speaker 3: you all this.
- 1:57:02Speaker 1: Money in the pump.
- 1:57:02Speaker 3: They're gonna still find a way to get that money
- 1:57:04Speaker 3: from you. So now they're gonna gonna charge you per mile. Yep,
- 1:57:07Speaker 3: and that's double now for you know people with gas cars.
- 1:57:11Speaker 1: Yeah, that's why I'm putting my car on blocks and
- 1:57:13Speaker 1: then hitting reverse. Yeah that worked. That worked. Yeah, I've
- 1:57:19Speaker 1: done that, baby. Yeah.
- 1:57:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:57:21Speaker 14: Wells California, we have some very sad, stupid state.
- 1:57:27Speaker 10: Very oh.
- 1:57:28Speaker 5: I I was reeling when I when I saw this
- 1:57:30Speaker 5: very sad news for all the fans of those big
- 1:57:32Speaker 5: bear bald eagles Jackie in Shadow.
- 1:57:34Speaker 1: A bird attacked the nest.
- 1:57:36Speaker 5: Now the eagles were away, and which makes it worse,
- 1:57:38Speaker 5: there were tons of viewers watching it on the live
- 1:57:41Speaker 5: stream as it happened.
- 1:57:42Speaker 1: This raven landed on the nest and cracked the eggs open.
- 1:57:45Speaker 3: Raven raven suck Yeah so big too, those ravens.
- 1:57:49Speaker 1: They're terrifying.
- 1:57:50Speaker 5: Yeah, Jackie eventually returned to the nest shadow he hasn't
- 1:57:53Speaker 5: really been around, and the nonprofit that runs the camera says, hey, man,
- 1:57:57Speaker 5: this is unfortunately one of those harsh realities of nature.
- 1:58:00Speaker 1: But they're still hoping that the couple could.
- 1:58:01Speaker 4: Lay new eggs since it's still early in the season.
- 1:58:05Speaker 1: With Carti reality, they all have a go pro goro.
- 1:58:13Speaker 7: You know that, right, But those ravens, dude, they like
- 1:58:16Speaker 7: murder pigeons and doves around the house.
- 1:58:22Speaker 1: The football general, yeah, just in general. Ray Lewis came
- 1:58:25Speaker 1: into the yeah, sunny side.
- 1:58:33Speaker 5: What was supposed to be a fun tram tour at
- 1:58:36Speaker 5: Universal Studios Hollywood took.
- 1:58:38Speaker 1: This crazy turn on Saturday.
- 1:58:40Speaker 2: Do you see this?
- 1:58:41Speaker 5: The tram suddenly stopped and one dude gets off strips
- 1:58:44Speaker 5: naked and starts acting all crazy in front of this
- 1:58:47Speaker 5: huge group of guests.
- 1:58:48Speaker 1: On the tram.
- 1:58:49Speaker 4: Not shockingly, they think he was under the influence.
- 1:58:52Speaker 1: No way.
- 1:58:52Speaker 5: Security eventually stepped eventually stepped in, and while the situation
- 1:58:57Speaker 5: was handled, all the riders did get express passes.
- 1:59:00Speaker 4: As an apology. Let's come back for the second show.
- 1:59:02Speaker 1: You got a show and express pass.
- 1:59:05Speaker 7: I'm telling you that's gonna be Greg one day on
- 1:59:06Speaker 7: one of these planes or something when he's on Xanax.
- 1:59:10Speaker 3: Yeah, hey, Menace. When does the new Fast and Furious
- 1:59:14Speaker 3: Coaster open at Universal?
- 1:59:16Speaker 1: Should be like any any It looks like it's pretty
- 1:59:19Speaker 1: much they've been like doing like test runs like constantly. Yeah,
- 1:59:23Speaker 1: I saw him. That's cool. Yeah, this is the show.
- 1:59:31Speaker 3: Yeah, it's all coming up. Roses for for Joe Koy Boddy.
- 1:59:33Speaker 3: I'll tell you, like the sold out Sofi Stadium show
- 1:59:38Speaker 3: in March with Gabriel Glacias. It will be the biggest
- 1:59:42Speaker 3: comedy show ever. The first time a comedian will headline
- 1:59:44Speaker 3: so Fi.
- 1:59:46Speaker 1: That's cool.
- 1:59:46Speaker 3: The first time that you and Gable headline together, which
- 1:59:50Speaker 3: is which is cool. I mean I've seen I've seen
- 1:59:53Speaker 3: Gabriel at your shows, Like he comes up on stage
- 1:59:56Speaker 3: during your show. Yeah, that's it's it's.
- 1:59:58Speaker 1: What he made the announcement was that my show? Yeah,
- 2:00:01Speaker 1: which was crazy. Yeah, because it was just a thought.
- 2:00:04Speaker 1: He went up on stage and said it.
- 2:00:07Speaker 3: Joe's getting his his his hands and his feet in
- 2:00:12Speaker 3: the cement at TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood, like all
- 2:00:16Speaker 3: the big movie stars have done.
- 2:00:17Speaker 1: Over the years and stuff.
- 2:00:18Speaker 3: All the big celebrities you're now you're in that group.
- 2:00:22Speaker 3: Next Wednesday, February eleventh is when that's happening. Tiffany Hattish
- 2:00:25Speaker 3: will be one of the guest speakers that's going on.
- 2:00:28Speaker 3: And then I also wanted to ask you about your
- 2:00:30Speaker 3: your new special that you just shot Stockton. Yeah, so
- 2:00:33Speaker 3: why why Stockton?
- 2:00:35Speaker 1: So I played Okay, So.
- 2:00:36Speaker 2: When I when I got my you know, when they
- 2:00:39Speaker 2: said they wanted another special, I was on tour at
- 2:00:42Speaker 2: that time, and I was just every every show that
- 2:00:44Speaker 2: I felt like really strong in like oh I love
- 2:00:47Speaker 2: this crowd. I would always go maybe I'll bring Netflix
- 2:00:50Speaker 2: here and the crowd would go crazy. And I remember
- 2:00:53Speaker 2: when I was in Stockton, I said that, and uh
- 2:00:57Speaker 2: and the way they reacted was crazy, and I was
- 2:01:00Speaker 2: just like, no, they this is this is it. And
- 2:01:02Speaker 2: then just the history of like you know, the first
- 2:01:05Speaker 2: immigrants that from the Philippines to step Foot was stocked
- 2:01:10Speaker 2: in California, Little Manila was stocked and like, you know, like, yeah,
- 2:01:14Speaker 2: there's this is a lot of history. There's a lot
- 2:01:16Speaker 2: of bad history, but I didn't want to shine light
- 2:01:19Speaker 2: on that. There was a lot of bad things.
- 2:01:21Speaker 1: That happened as well.
- 2:01:22Speaker 2: But uh, they were arms, they were, and then they
- 2:01:26Speaker 2: weren't like that. There was a lot of signs on
- 2:01:28Speaker 2: stores that you know, and that said no Filipinos allowed,
- 2:01:32Speaker 2: and and it got really bad. And you stay on
- 2:01:34Speaker 2: that side south side of main Street and you know,
- 2:01:37Speaker 2: don't don't associate with the people on the north side
- 2:01:40Speaker 2: of main Street. Like it was a lot of like
- 2:01:42Speaker 2: really bad. And I don't want to bring anything down.
- 2:01:44Speaker 2: But my whole thing was, it was one hundred years
- 2:01:46Speaker 2: since that moment and and here.
- 2:01:48Speaker 1: We are now I got it.
- 2:01:49Speaker 2: I got you know, every single I got every single
- 2:01:52Speaker 2: color in this audience, you know what I mean.
- 2:01:54Speaker 1: And and it's it's a bunch of.
- 2:01:56Speaker 2: Filipinos hanging out with everybody in a building that was
- 2:01:59Speaker 2: built along time ago.
- 2:02:01Speaker 1: We're in stocked in and.
- 2:02:02Speaker 3: There's nothing coming to Stockton for the most part. That
- 2:02:04Speaker 3: got on a scale like that, you know what I mean.
- 2:02:06Speaker 3: It's not like a place that they come to shoot.
- 2:02:09Speaker 3: It's very special.
- 2:02:10Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:02:11Speaker 2: Yeah, it was so beautiful what they gave me the
- 2:02:14Speaker 2: keys of the city. And you know, Jason Lee is
- 2:02:16Speaker 2: also a deputy mayor out there, and it.
- 2:02:19Speaker 1: Was yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, and he gave like it
- 2:02:24Speaker 1: was just like it was beautiful.
- 2:02:25Speaker 2: Man, and it's just to see the smile on everyone's
- 2:02:29Speaker 2: faces in stocked in and just seeing that that happened
- 2:02:32Speaker 2: was cool. We sold out to Arenas for that too,
- 2:02:35Speaker 2: by the way, so that was cool just to to
- 2:02:38Speaker 2: bring that that type of energy into that city.
- 2:02:40Speaker 3: That and then when when is that supposed to be out?
- 2:02:44Speaker 1: I was supposed to edit today, to be honest, I'm
- 2:02:47Speaker 1: supposed to be in New York right now. But the
- 2:02:48Speaker 1: snow so And also you don't want to miss out
- 2:02:51Speaker 1: on this, I mean, yeah, yeah.
- 2:02:52Speaker 2: Come on, by the way, this just announced Menace the
- 2:02:57Speaker 2: Dog is also going to do a speech.
- 2:03:02Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah, crazy. I'm sure he would be excited. Dude.
- 2:03:10Speaker 3: It's funny every time, you know, like sometimes you uh,
- 2:03:13Speaker 3: you meet somebody and you're in that situation where it's
- 2:03:15Speaker 3: not just like a quick hello and move on, like
- 2:03:17Speaker 3: you're supposed to have like a conversation with somebody. Anytime
- 2:03:20Speaker 3: I'm in a situation like that with somebody who's Filipino,
- 2:03:23Speaker 3: I go, you know Joe Coy right, Oh yeah, dude,
- 2:03:25Speaker 3: you are such a savior in those situations.
- 2:03:29Speaker 1: Man. He is the Elvis that buys you like a
- 2:03:31Speaker 1: half does it does? If you if I go on
- 2:03:35Speaker 1: any cruise ship and I'm at the spot I say
- 2:03:38Speaker 1: that I know joe Coy. Yeah, guess who gets You're
- 2:03:40Speaker 1: well service. Yeah, Ye're welcome.
- 2:03:42Speaker 3: We're gonna start facetiming you to make sure you say
- 2:03:44Speaker 3: hello to the Hey, I got a big fan here.
- 2:03:46Speaker 3: You gotta say hi.
- 2:03:47Speaker 2: Any hospital in the world if you're going into like
- 2:03:49Speaker 2: e er, just say you're related to Joey.
- 2:03:52Speaker 1: Yeah priority Yeah.
- 2:03:55Speaker 3: Uh text year says any Woody show and Joekoy. Message
- 2:03:59Speaker 3: for Joekoy. I love how you love your son. It's
- 2:04:02Speaker 3: the most beautiful thing to see a dad so happy
- 2:04:04Speaker 3: and proud about their child. What a truly special bond.
- 2:04:07Speaker 1: Yeah. Are you finding firing up your podcast again? Because
- 2:04:10Speaker 1: I saw you doing like a podcast thing. We're kind
- 2:04:12Speaker 1: of teasing it. We're teasy it and co host.
- 2:04:15Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, so you and your son are doing the podcast.
- 2:04:21Speaker 2: We're teasing something. Yeah, but we we want to make
- 2:04:24Speaker 2: sure it's different. And I know that sounds stupid, but
- 2:04:28Speaker 2: I just I'm just starting to makes sense.
- 2:04:30Speaker 1: But like, what is that?
- 2:04:31Speaker 3: What is different?
- 2:04:32Speaker 1: I want it?
- 2:04:32Speaker 3: He can't tell us because then somebody might run with it,
- 2:04:35Speaker 3: and then it won't be different because my son won't.
- 2:04:37Speaker 1: Be a part of it.
- 2:04:38Speaker 2: If it's just the same old podcast style podcast.
- 2:04:41Speaker 1: He just won't.
- 2:04:42Speaker 2: That's not his vibe, that's not his energy. So it's
- 2:04:45Speaker 2: like it's got to be he wants. He said, he'll
- 2:04:48Speaker 2: do it as long as it's like how we talk
- 2:04:50Speaker 2: at a food court. And I'm like, all right, cool,
- 2:04:53Speaker 2: let's do something like that. Let's keep it conversational and
- 2:04:57Speaker 2: and not topical and try and talk about things we
- 2:05:01Speaker 2: really don't know about, trying to act.
- 2:05:03Speaker 1: Like we do.
- 2:05:04Speaker 3: Just do it at the food court called the food court.
- 2:05:06Speaker 1: Yeah, Yeah, that's funny. You know, that's funny.
- 2:05:10Speaker 3: Because you're you're always a different malls. Yeah, you know,
- 2:05:13Speaker 3: and while you're there is someone in your crew. He
- 2:05:16Speaker 3: doesn't really take much.
- 2:05:16Speaker 2: My son has a store that we haven't opened yet,
- 2:05:21Speaker 2: but that's where we're doing. Yeah, and it's pretty cool.
- 2:05:24Speaker 2: It's really really cool, the whole vibe.
- 2:05:26Speaker 1: And energy he's got. My son's in the records.
- 2:05:30Speaker 2: That's what started this whole thing. So everywhere around the world,
- 2:05:32Speaker 2: we're going to like these vinyl shops he's been picking up.
- 2:05:35Speaker 2: He's just got like this collection of records and he
- 2:05:37Speaker 2: has record players, and he cleans his records and yeah,
- 2:05:40Speaker 2: he loves Yeah, we've always said that about him. We've
- 2:05:42Speaker 2: always said that about my son, and and that like clothes,
- 2:05:46Speaker 2: everything's old school clothes.
- 2:05:47Speaker 1: He's just vi.
- 2:05:48Speaker 2: So now we have like this, We just have like
- 2:05:51Speaker 2: this stock room of stuff that we bought and now
- 2:05:54Speaker 2: he's turned it into a store.
- 2:05:55Speaker 4: And you've always been so supportive of him. But he
- 2:05:58Speaker 4: works hard hard. He doesn't just like take the day
- 2:06:01Speaker 4: off when you're on tour, right, No.
- 2:06:03Speaker 2: He's working out, he's preparing for so far and then
- 2:06:06Speaker 2: he's preparing for the tour. So he makes sure that
- 2:06:09Speaker 2: all the merch is ready.
- 2:06:10Speaker 5: You have him out there slinging shirts and yeah he was.
- 2:06:14Speaker 1: When I went to one of your stops, he was
- 2:06:15Speaker 1: working the entire time. The whole time. Hey, let me
- 2:06:18Speaker 1: ask you. He loves it, by the way.
- 2:06:19Speaker 2: Plus fans want to walk up to him, so I
- 2:06:21Speaker 2: know that's gotta that's gotta make it hard for him.
- 2:06:24Speaker 3: So we've heard from Menace on this, So Menace, take
- 2:06:26Speaker 3: a break. I want to get Joe, who's another mall fanatic,
- 2:06:30Speaker 3: Like is the mall dead?
- 2:06:32Speaker 7: You know what?
- 2:06:33Speaker 1: I'm so happy you asked that question because I know.
- 2:06:35Speaker 3: You love them all I love the mall, all right,
- 2:06:38Speaker 3: I love it. Miles dead. It seems like they're just
- 2:06:40Speaker 3: doing nothing but dying.
- 2:06:41Speaker 2: Yeah, well you know who's killing it, people buying stuff
- 2:06:43Speaker 2: on Amazon.
- 2:06:44Speaker 1: Stop.
- 2:06:45Speaker 3: Okay, like go out there. So clearly, seeing as people
- 2:06:50Speaker 3: aren't going to stop buying things from Amazon, I guess
- 2:06:52Speaker 3: them all dead.
- 2:06:53Speaker 1: But well, yeah, I just told you.
- 2:06:57Speaker 7: Know.
- 2:06:58Speaker 1: We're gonna dig in the joe a little bit here. Okay.
- 2:07:01Speaker 2: The reason why is because people don't want to socialize anymore. So,
- 2:07:06Speaker 2: like my whole thing is is I love going to
- 2:07:09Speaker 2: the mall because you get to see people, You get
- 2:07:11Speaker 2: to see people dressing, you get to see different people dress,
- 2:07:14Speaker 2: you get to see how what people.
- 2:07:16Speaker 3: And it was certainly a thing of our era. It
- 2:07:18Speaker 3: was so much like the gen X. It was that
- 2:07:21Speaker 3: was the play like that's where you went like there
- 2:07:23Speaker 3: because you weren't just facetiming or you know, talking with
- 2:07:25Speaker 3: your friends on yeh you went, you went and got
- 2:07:29Speaker 3: you know, stuff at the food Core. There was the
- 2:07:32Speaker 3: movies were there. You would just walk around the stores.
- 2:07:35Speaker 1: There wasn't for the mall. We wouldn't know what Panda expressed.
- 2:07:38Speaker 1: That's what, that's what. That's what the mall brought us,
- 2:07:42Speaker 1: and not that there aren't because of the mall and
- 2:07:44Speaker 1: there was no mall. You think there'd be a Cinabun.
- 2:07:47Speaker 1: Where's the pretzels at?
- 2:07:48Speaker 3: Yes, and not that there aren't still malls that are
- 2:07:51Speaker 3: popping that I wanted to jump in.
- 2:07:54Speaker 1: There are because when you say that in Sae, malls
- 2:07:56Speaker 1: are dead, it's not all malls. It's not all malls.
- 2:07:58Speaker 3: It's like saying not all, then like not all like Okay,
- 2:08:02Speaker 3: there's a stereotype for a reason, right on all different fronts,
- 2:08:05Speaker 3: so it's not all of whatever.
- 2:08:07Speaker 1: They think you're crazy because they go to the mall
- 2:08:09Speaker 1: and it's.
- 2:08:10Speaker 3: Packed, because they go to their local mall and it's dead,
- 2:08:12Speaker 3: and it's just like all the anchor stores are gone
- 2:08:14Speaker 3: or going out. You know that my local mall hot
- 2:08:19Speaker 3: Dog on a stick just to all of a sudden
- 2:08:20Speaker 3: packed up and they're gone.
- 2:08:21Speaker 1: That's crazy.
- 2:08:22Speaker 3: It was the oldest thing is like one of the
- 2:08:24Speaker 3: worst in the entire Okay, but like I'm telling you, man,
- 2:08:27Speaker 3: more so than not, that's the case of the mall.
- 2:08:30Speaker 3: There are a few that are popping, but the majority
- 2:08:32Speaker 3: of them are dead dead, and they're they're having to Okay,
- 2:08:36Speaker 3: it'll be reinvented.
- 2:08:38Speaker 1: I'm telling you. Doctor moved into the mall.
- 2:08:40Speaker 5: They asked if I wanted a pap smell.
- 2:08:44Speaker 1: Yeah, so what are some of the minute exactly? I
- 2:08:48Speaker 1: thank you.
- 2:08:49Speaker 3: You just sent me a list, like what are some
- 2:08:50Speaker 3: of the other stores that are that are going out
- 2:08:52Speaker 3: this year?
- 2:08:53Speaker 1: There was there.
- 2:08:54Speaker 3: There's a whole big right about it. I'm not a
- 2:08:57Speaker 3: mall hater. I'm not a mall hater, but it is
- 2:08:59Speaker 3: the press saying when you go to a lot of
- 2:09:01Speaker 3: malls now, it's like you're just these places, these odd ones,
- 2:09:04Speaker 3: these odd little stores that I even know what this
- 2:09:07Speaker 3: store is.
- 2:09:07Speaker 1: Well, they said all last call stores for Nima Marcus
- 2:09:10Speaker 1: are closing. They said, uh Sacks fifth Avenue, seven.
- 2:09:15Speaker 2: Stores on this one. First of all, those two never
- 2:09:18Speaker 2: adjusted to the times. Yeah, like Demon was still doing
- 2:09:22Speaker 2: like weird store hours closing before the mall was still closed,
- 2:09:25Speaker 2: like they were doing all that stupid stuff.
- 2:09:27Speaker 1: But Macy's one hundred and fifty stores they deserve to close.
- 2:09:31Speaker 1: They deserve the dude, I don't even know that they
- 2:09:33Speaker 1: still have sort of Macy's good one trying to get out.
- 2:09:39Speaker 1: I know, I always look for the bathroom.
- 2:09:41Speaker 2: It's like going to a casino with clothes that wrap everywhere.
- 2:09:46Speaker 1: Eddie Bower stores. I know they still have some Eddie jeeps.
- 2:09:51Speaker 7: Yes, crazy, Yeah, they're talking about an upgrade American Eagle
- 2:09:57Speaker 7: thirty five stores.
- 2:09:58Speaker 1: I get jeans from there. I like that. Uh, they
- 2:10:02Speaker 1: all deserve. Yeah, it's something.
- 2:10:04Speaker 3: It's something. I think you mourn it because of what
- 2:10:07Speaker 3: it represented, like you, you mourn the idea of what
- 2:10:09Speaker 3: the mall was. Like my son was asking me because
- 2:10:13Speaker 3: he loved stranger things, and he was asking my wife
- 2:10:17Speaker 3: and I he goes, is that really how the mall was?
- 2:10:19Speaker 3: Because all he knows is the mall is what it
- 2:10:20Speaker 3: is now? Oh wow, yeah, he goes, really because people
- 2:10:23Speaker 3: just used to go like yeah a day. Yeah, dude,
- 2:10:26Speaker 3: there's a really cool way.
- 2:10:27Speaker 1: What are you like me? You love the mall too?
- 2:10:30Speaker 3: You loved it when I was Yeah, when I was younger,
- 2:10:33Speaker 3: and now I said, now it's just more depressing.
- 2:10:35Speaker 1: Yeah, it's sad there, you know.
- 2:10:36Speaker 3: I mean, there there's an occasional like a you know,
- 2:10:39Speaker 3: restaurant or something that's at the mall or mall adjacent.
- 2:10:42Speaker 3: You find yourself in that area probably once a week.
- 2:10:44Speaker 1: There's there's a there's.
- 2:10:45Speaker 3: An Apple store all the time. Okay, that's that's a
- 2:10:49Speaker 3: that's a thing. But yeah, like you mourn what it
- 2:10:52Speaker 3: was because it represents something about you know, nostalgia, your
- 2:10:55Speaker 3: childhood or something that you have a fond attachment to.
- 2:11:00Speaker 3: But like most things, you know, it changes, right, Yes,
- 2:11:05Speaker 3: I know you have to try it on, you have
- 2:11:07Speaker 3: to touch it.
- 2:11:09Speaker 1: I agree with that. What are you doing.
- 2:11:11Speaker 3: Personally unless it's something that I have already bought and
- 2:11:13Speaker 3: so I know what size I wear in whatever, they're
- 2:11:16Speaker 3: not the same from from you know, manufacturer, store to.
- 2:11:19Speaker 1: Store, so you get a European extra large. That's a
- 2:11:22Speaker 1: media Yeah for real.
- 2:11:24Speaker 3: If you're lucky, Yeah, yeah, if you're lucky.
- 2:11:27Speaker 1: I like I like the thrill of the hunt too.
- 2:11:30Speaker 2: I refuse to order anything online. I will go to
- 2:11:33Speaker 2: nineteen stores and find it.
- 2:11:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I love it. I love the journey. I love
- 2:11:37Speaker 1: like talking in the car with my son. Yeah, like
- 2:11:39Speaker 1: it was.
- 2:11:40Speaker 3: It was a whole kind of afternoon. It was you
- 2:11:42Speaker 3: were going to go see a movie, and you'd go
- 2:11:44Speaker 3: there because you weren't buying the tickets online.
- 2:11:46Speaker 1: You would go there.
- 2:11:47Speaker 3: You'd get the tickets because you want to make sure
- 2:11:49Speaker 3: you were there to get the tickets, and then you
- 2:11:51Speaker 3: would kill time at the mall like either going shopping
- 2:11:54Speaker 3: or going in grabbing some food first or hitting up
- 2:11:56Speaker 3: the arcade. You know, really cool arcade just opened up
- 2:12:00Speaker 3: in Pittsburgh and it opened up in this old ass church. Yes,
- 2:12:05Speaker 3: so it's really cool, looking like a and so it's
- 2:12:07Speaker 3: called the Church Arcade.
- 2:12:09Speaker 1: That's okay, all vintage.
- 2:12:11Speaker 3: All these like vintage stand up arcade games, arcade games, pinball,
- 2:12:16Speaker 3: all kinds stuff and it looks super cool.
- 2:12:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:12:19Speaker 5: I just went to one of those in Minnesota and
- 2:12:21Speaker 5: it ruled literally like all your favorite games and they
- 2:12:25Speaker 5: don't require tokens.
- 2:12:26Speaker 7: Well, that's why all the pop in malls still. They
- 2:12:30Speaker 7: are restaurant heavy and entertainment heavy, and that's why a
- 2:12:34Speaker 7: lot of people come in for them and they do
- 2:12:36Speaker 7: shopping on top of it.
- 2:12:37Speaker 2: But you go overseas and all the malls are popping.
- 2:12:41Speaker 1: Have you ever been in Dubai Mall recently?
- 2:12:48Speaker 3: Joekoy is here follow online at Joe Coy, j O
- 2:12:51Speaker 3: k oh Y. We're going to take a quick break

- 2:13:57Speaker 3: iss right there we were we were having a conversation
- 2:13:59Speaker 3: off the air about like, do you like, you know,
- 2:14:01Speaker 3: you hang out with people who are billionaires and the
- 2:14:02Speaker 3: kind of stuff that they do in their life. You're like, dude,
- 2:14:04Speaker 3: this is some billionaire ish. Yeah, Like, dude, getting your

- 2:14:12Speaker 3: know a couple of people that have gotten like you know,
- 2:14:14Speaker 3: stars in the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and I'm like,
- 2:14:17Speaker 3: it's so weird because when you grow up and you
- 2:14:18Speaker 3: see people doing the like, then you're like, I know
- 2:14:21Speaker 3: somebody who has one of those things. It's crazy as
- 2:14:23Speaker 3: like knowing you and like you know also because knowing
- 2:14:27Speaker 3: you the way that we do and knowing your story
- 2:14:29Speaker 3: and how hard you've worked and how man you just
- 2:14:32Speaker 3: you've you've put it all on the line and you're
- 2:14:35Speaker 3: not taking any of it for granted. And the fact
- 2:14:37Speaker 3: that you know, you see a lot of things happen
- 2:14:38Speaker 3: to people who don't necessarily deserve it, and you certainly
- 2:14:42Speaker 3: deserve it. I'm so happy for you. I'm honored that

- 2:15:02Speaker 3: going to be right, I promise you.
- 2:15:05Speaker 1: I'm I am. I'm so touched. I'm honored. I think
- 2:15:13Speaker 1: it's it's it's it's it's really cool. I could not
- 2:15:16Speaker 1: be happier to do that for you.
- 2:15:18Speaker 2: I just want to say the reason why you and
- 2:15:22Speaker 2: do have a by the way, just in case, we
- 2:15:24Speaker 2: already got to make sure you.
- 2:15:28Speaker 1: Know, they don't make those by the way that you
- 2:15:30Speaker 1: have to be made. They have to be weird. They'll
- 2:15:32Speaker 1: have to be getting made by the way.
- 2:15:34Speaker 2: But but the Woody Show, and of course you would
- 2:15:37Speaker 2: he and and you've been a part of my journey,
- 2:15:39Speaker 2: so you know what I mean. And of course when
- 2:15:42Speaker 2: this happened, like I want you guys there because we've
- 2:15:45Speaker 2: always been there.
- 2:15:46Speaker 1: We all feel like like this is happening to everybody.
- 2:15:50Speaker 1: I remember one of the.
- 2:15:50Speaker 3: Things that we, uh we first connected on, like one
- 2:15:53Speaker 3: of your first visits here, we're just talking about, you know,
- 2:15:55Speaker 3: having kids and the whole thing about how it sucks
- 2:15:58Speaker 3: when you have to be the parent and you have
- 2:15:59Speaker 3: to like get mad at them because you're like, dude,
- 2:16:01Speaker 3: all you have to do is just do what you're
- 2:16:03Speaker 3: supposed to, like do your schoolwork, listen to your mom, like,
- 2:16:06Speaker 3: don't talk back, and then your life is awesome. Yeah,
- 2:16:09Speaker 3: Like I want the same things you want, Like like like, yeah,
- 2:16:13Speaker 3: we're gonna get the new place. That's for us. Yeah,
- 2:16:15Speaker 3: that's not for you, that's for honest.
- 2:16:17Speaker 2: Like you're on restriction.

- 2:17:33Speaker 3: the text even if you don't have tickets, can people
- 2:17:36Speaker 3: still go down there? Yeah? Of course it's a it's
- 2:17:38Speaker 3: a public area. But as far as like the like

- 2:17:45Speaker 3: we gave away a bunch this morning. But yeah, come
