- 0:05Speaker 2: I don't have any high shall share.
- 0:07Speaker 3: Your suck and we hold the world ransom for Wayne.
- 0:11Speaker 4: Excuse me while I whipped this out.
- 0:13Speaker 5: Shoot broadcasting live and it led her Georgia.
- 0:18Speaker 6: This this is the sports Shock Ship with Wayne Gandy.
- 0:23Speaker 1: You by Bega, you mean up gang?
- 0:26Speaker 7: Can you win?
- 0:26Speaker 8: Megat?
- 0:28Speaker 2: Frank me down?
- 0:29Speaker 4: Do come to f come to con comes to Mark?
- 0:33Speaker 9: Is it just.
- 0:38Speaker 4: I'm gonna do it.
- 0:39Speaker 1: I'm gonna go on the way you began.
- 0:42Speaker 4: Welcome, Welcome, Welcome. You're listening to the spot Shot Show.
- 0:48Speaker 4: I'm the spy shock Wing Gandy. Good morning to you.
- 0:54Speaker 4: The PCL National Championship is tonight and uh pc L.
- 1:00Speaker 4: I been trying to tell you. You push this game so
- 1:04Speaker 4: far back that you let the NFL playoffs. Quitch my thirst.
- 1:12Speaker 4: I can miss you tonight. I saw Lamar and Josh yesterday.
- 1:20Speaker 4: I saw some Jared Goff, Jaydon Daniels. I saw the
- 1:24Speaker 4: say Kwan Barkley do that thing? Who playing the night.
- 1:32Speaker 4: You gotta understand the momentum of the mind. Your game
- 1:38Speaker 4: became a little less prevalent. I know, command you Greg
- 1:42Speaker 4: fighting you. He always wanted, you know, because he's our conscience.
- 1:45Speaker 4: But after that good action this weekend, people were okay
- 1:52Speaker 4: going on a date. I thought you were gonna watch
- 1:55Speaker 4: the game. I just catch the score because I saw
- 1:59Speaker 4: some great actions the last two days in the NFL.
- 2:05Speaker 4: I'm like, maximums, are you not entertained? I mean, what
- 2:08Speaker 4: else did y'all want to happen? We got first half
- 2:13Speaker 4: clear skies, second half blizzards, body blows by the Commanders,
- 2:22Speaker 4: and I mean it got all kinds of ways. We
- 2:26Speaker 4: got games the Chiefs, the Texans try to pull it off.
- 2:29Speaker 4: To Miko Fryan, just a couple of coaching errors from
- 2:33Speaker 4: my point of view. When it was sixty three and
- 2:36Speaker 4: you tried that fifty five yard field goal, you should
- 2:39Speaker 4: have just took a penalty and punt it. You don't
- 2:42Speaker 4: beat the Chiefs in arrowhead kicking field goals. Should have punted,
- 2:48Speaker 4: made them drive the long field the way your defense
- 2:50Speaker 4: probably would have got a short feel again. But instead
- 2:54Speaker 4: you tried the field goal. They got the ball, basically
- 2:57Speaker 4: had midfield, and then they went and got a touchdown.
- 3:00Speaker 4: They pushed it to thirteen to three. And that's when
- 3:03Speaker 4: all just little small little things. Not one thing loses
- 3:07Speaker 4: a game, but so much action in the NFL that
- 3:12Speaker 4: you ran inauguration is today, right, President Trump take over
- 3:17Speaker 4: the country again. So that's going to exhaust because that
- 3:21Speaker 4: started about four hours ago to coverage and it's started
- 3:27Speaker 4: out Friday. Friday. People are getting off of airplanes in
- 3:33Speaker 4: the airport right now, so there are not there. Yeah,
- 3:37Speaker 4: it's already a madhouse with that. So that's going to
- 3:40Speaker 4: affect your audience tonight. And I'm just some good games,
- 3:45Speaker 4: is we end basically what I'm saying, And sometimes that thirst.
- 3:49Speaker 4: I mean, I'm interested and I'm quite sure I might
- 3:52Speaker 4: click in, but I don't have that same thrill to
- 3:59Speaker 4: see the game the night. Maybe if it were some
- 4:01Speaker 4: bad games, I would be on the bandwagon. And for you,
- 4:05Speaker 4: as we were talking, we'd like to be honest on
- 4:06Speaker 4: our show, the Donny Brown's, the Antwine, the Jared's, all
- 4:13Speaker 4: those people who thought that bad producer, all those people
- 4:16Speaker 4: who was praying for a four Black Quarterback Conference Championship round.
- 4:23Speaker 4: I'm sorry that Josh Allen spoiled your fun. And he
- 4:27Speaker 4: said take that darky after he won, he said take
- 4:31Speaker 4: that dark one. And I was like, wow, like did
- 4:36Speaker 4: you why did you go there? And he was like
- 4:38Speaker 4: you racist couldn't take that, and I was like, oh Josh, wow.
- 4:45Speaker 4: I wasn't expecting that the contingency of people that were
- 4:48Speaker 4: watching the game with me as well was on that
- 4:51Speaker 4: tip of pointing that out. It didn't even cross my mind,
- 4:57Speaker 4: but they were already on it. Pregame. They were mentally
- 5:00Speaker 4: on the whole if Lamar Jackson win, how it would
- 5:05Speaker 4: be for African Americans left at quarter back. And as
- 5:13Speaker 4: I said on the show the other I felt like
- 5:15Speaker 4: the Bills would win. I gave him the edge at home.
- 5:18Speaker 4: That was the only slight day. I thought it was
- 5:19Speaker 4: two even teams and it came down to that two
- 5:24Speaker 4: point conversion dropped by Don Mark Andrews. In that situation,
- 5:29Speaker 4: Mark Andrews, you know, going into this game, was the
- 5:32Speaker 4: most reliable receiver that Lamar Jackson has had. And I
- 5:38Speaker 4: was trying to explain it seemed like to me he
- 5:42Speaker 4: dropped the ball because he wasn't sure if he was
- 5:44Speaker 4: in the end zone. It really was, he didn't know
- 5:48Speaker 4: whether to check, did that run far enough And the
- 5:54Speaker 4: glimpse of taking his focus off of he dropped the ball.
- 5:58Speaker 4: It was a lot going on and that's not an excuse.
- 6:01Speaker 4: He should still should have caught the ball, but you
- 6:04Speaker 4: could almost get inside of his helmet. He wasn't sure
- 6:07Speaker 4: that as he was falling, was he gonna have to
- 6:11Speaker 4: need to catch him back up? He was doing other
- 6:14Speaker 4: things and that's typically when guys dropped the ball. How
- 6:18Speaker 4: many times you see that a guy kind of he
- 6:21Speaker 4: sees he's open, he's almost making a move, he's headed
- 6:25Speaker 4: up field. He ain't the ball. Watch this, I'm finished
- 6:32Speaker 4: this god, which was as great a game as it was.
- 6:40Speaker 4: It was heartbreaking to see it decided on that. But
- 6:43Speaker 4: that's the game. You see. What I'm saying is it's
- 6:46Speaker 4: a game of inches. It's a game of focus and concentration.
- 6:49Speaker 4: And yesterday that all played out, and sports jock Guy
- 6:55Speaker 4: thought exactly what you did on the way in, Like, man,
- 6:57Speaker 4: do I even want to watch any more football? These
- 7:02Speaker 4: people have pushed their game into I've seen the pros
- 7:05Speaker 4: do it at a high level. Four great games. It
- 7:09Speaker 4: was four great games. It was four games of you know,
- 7:12Speaker 4: you could see why these are the were the eight
- 7:14Speaker 4: teams still left in each and every round it was
- 7:19Speaker 4: tight contests either way. The surprise of the Commanders, the
- 7:24Speaker 4: explosion that they had against the Lions, up in the
- 7:28Speaker 4: motor City out a couple of lions fans over as well.
- 7:31Speaker 4: They were as lions, do you know? And maybe they
- 7:36Speaker 4: should send the lioness because from what we know, the
- 7:38Speaker 4: lioness goes hunting, right, so maybe the lions the guarding
- 7:45Speaker 4: of the property kind of like that. So they might
- 7:48Speaker 4: be sending the wrong lions out and they sitting at
- 7:50Speaker 4: the house watching the game and the women out killing
- 7:54Speaker 4: it and cooking the food. So in the matchups coming
- 7:59Speaker 4: up this Sunday, uh, and we'll talk about it more
- 8:01Speaker 4: in the show. We have the bills at the chiefs
- 8:06Speaker 4: and the commanders at the egals. So wherever you are
- 8:12Speaker 4: this next five six days, it's supposed to be cold weather.
- 8:17Speaker 4: Even reports that all the way down from Pensacola to
- 8:21Speaker 4: Houston might get some snow based on how the Arctic
- 8:27Speaker 4: blast they love the now. Now which Arctic blast? Is
- 8:34Speaker 4: this the European model or is this the domestic model,
- 8:39Speaker 4: because the European model genuinely shows brisker, more forceful wins
- 8:46Speaker 4: with greater accumulation of snow, and the domestic model just
- 8:51Speaker 4: shows a whole lot of cold and chance for other stuff. Well,
- 8:56Speaker 4: what are we getting right? Here in Atlanta this morning.
- 8:59Speaker 4: This is just I guess, I guess it's cold. Okay,
- 9:03Speaker 4: we haven't gotten the Arctic blash yet. I don't think so.
- 9:07Speaker 4: You you lived in Pittsburgh when when you would hear
- 9:10Speaker 4: things like people going, you know, it's going to be
- 9:13Speaker 4: fourteen degrees and we may have some did you go like,
- 9:16Speaker 4: why is that news? No, they'd never reported on it
- 9:19Speaker 4: like that. No, I'm saying you when you would hear
- 9:22Speaker 4: your folks in Florida and talking about it's going to
- 9:25Speaker 4: get cold, like, well, no, that's if you're in Pittsburgh.
- 9:28Speaker 4: They don't report on cold anywhere else. It's snow weather
- 9:32Speaker 4: in this drama field way, it's just part of it.
- 9:37Speaker 4: It's November weather report. So fourteen in the Steelers, Yeah,
- 9:44Speaker 4: school still goes like school. They don't close school or
- 9:47Speaker 4: things like that. It's just winter. So in Atlanta they
- 9:51Speaker 4: might send something out in a minute to your phone
- 9:55Speaker 4: that the city shut down tomorrow. All hospitals will not
- 9:59Speaker 4: be accepted. We will only be accepting emergency. But we've
- 10:03Speaker 4: got a great show for you today, Happy King Day.
- 10:07Speaker 4: I think the NBA will check with them. They have
- 10:09Speaker 4: several games Atlanta. The Hawks usually play one. But with
- 10:14Speaker 4: the national title tonight here and at Atlanta, command you,
- 10:18Speaker 4: Greg even went down the radio rope, didn't invite us,
- 10:24Speaker 4: but he used his sports jock credentials, but he used
- 10:30Speaker 4: the sports jock lanyard from the sports Jock Show that yeah,
- 10:34Speaker 4: we know you, command you, Greg. How much media was
- 10:36Speaker 4: down there as much as you believe it would be
- 10:39Speaker 4: or a little.
- 10:40Speaker 10: Less, a little less? Okay, there were I mean there's
- 10:45Speaker 10: a lot of you know, those that are that are
- 10:47Speaker 10: here locally, but as far as anybody nationally or regionally,
- 10:52Speaker 10: not not as much.
- 10:54Speaker 4: And and and and as we go to break, you
- 10:55Speaker 4: got the l A wildfires, You'll got the after math
- 10:59Speaker 4: of that, you got the inauguration, uh and you had
- 11:03Speaker 4: two huge four well four huge playoff games this weekend.
- 11:08Speaker 4: All that takes away from your media coverage. As much
- 11:12Speaker 4: as you think it doesn't, it does. And then they're
- 11:15Speaker 4: definitely not expected to. Okay, we're covering the national championship
- 11:19Speaker 4: is during the UH divisional round like normally, we've done
- 11:24Speaker 4: with college We've been done with college football for three
- 11:26Speaker 4: weeks by this point. Correct, we'll be and it's other
- 11:28Speaker 4: stuff going on in the day too. We'll be back
- 11:32Speaker 4: from the Sports Stock Show right after this do.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Them all and you were fleeking and Flick got to
- 11:39Speaker 2: sign the drop it.

- 13:22Speaker 14: be taking care of a two year old and a
- 13:24Speaker 14: nine year old on my own.
- 13:26Speaker 15: I think men can be a little stubborn sometimes, where
- 13:29Speaker 15: pride gets in the way and they may want the help,
- 13:32Speaker 15: they may not know how to ask. With my traditions,
- 13:36Speaker 15: with the family support in line, and just with my
- 13:38Speaker 15: mind frame, I was able to turn a negative into
- 13:42Speaker 15: a positive. I knew I needed more tools in my
- 13:45Speaker 15: toolbox to take care of these little girls that just
- 13:49Speaker 15: lost their mother. It's time for me to be that
- 13:51Speaker 15: father that I knew I could be. I think just
- 13:54Speaker 15: being that good role model as well. That model's good behavior.
- 13:58Speaker 14: In front of them, going to work every day, a
- 14:00Speaker 14: coming home and being able to put on that smile.
- 14:03Speaker 14: The biggest reward about being a dad is sitting back
- 14:06Speaker 14: and watching your kids be happy.
- 14:10Speaker 2: Never stop being a dad.
- 14:12Speaker 4: That's dedication.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Find out more on Fatherhood dot gov.
- 14:15Speaker 16: Brought to you by the US Department of Health and
- 14:17Speaker 16: Human Services and the AD Council.
- 14:21Speaker 4: And now back to the sports job Wayne Gandy.

- 14:34Speaker 17: Now it's time to present the Jock of the Day
- 14:37Speaker 17: on the Sports Jocks just taking it to a completely
- 14:40Speaker 17: different level this year where we highlight an accolete that
- 14:43Speaker 17: has taken their game to the next levels.
- 14:56Speaker 4: US welcome back to this one Shock Shun, this one
- 15:06Speaker 4: Shock wing can the great song to bring up this
- 15:10Speaker 4: topic of TikTok. Gentlemen. I know you guys are TikTokers
- 15:18Speaker 4: and you don't do TikTok. Big Kenny, Noah, I tried
- 15:23Speaker 4: it once, just wasn't mine. Yeah, that time you had
- 15:26Speaker 4: to you try to do it with that hood on,
- 15:28Speaker 4: Like I didn't know it because I was there, Like,
- 15:32Speaker 4: why would you do with a hood on? But your
- 15:33Speaker 4: T shirts say big Kenny. Somebody else asked me that
- 15:37Speaker 4: somebody else is like, you know you want it on
- 15:40Speaker 4: to disguise yourself, but did you recognize? And I was like,
- 15:45Speaker 4: you know, I wish you were there before I launched
- 15:47Speaker 4: that little campaign, sir, I could. Next time, I learned
- 15:51Speaker 4: a lot. I learned. You know, ask people questions. Don't
- 15:54Speaker 4: just jump out there on your I mean not bad commands.
- 15:58Speaker 4: You greg our expert TikToker, because you can find anything
- 16:04Speaker 4: that's your this is your wheelhouse.
- 16:06Speaker 18: Uh.
- 16:06Speaker 4: It went away for how many hours? Uh hours? Going
- 16:14Speaker 4: for about fourteen hours. I uh, yeah, I I wasn't.
- 16:20Speaker 9: I was.
- 16:20Speaker 10: I was confused about about the news that it was
- 16:23Speaker 10: going away. And then I went on there and mine
- 16:26Speaker 10: still worked. And then I went on like five minutes
- 16:29Speaker 10: later and it was just one ad and I couldn't
- 16:33Speaker 10: like scroll, and then I'm reading that it's coming back,
- 16:37Speaker 10: and then probably a couple hours later it's working.
- 16:40Speaker 4: Now run us through real quick. What was the big
- 16:44Speaker 4: reason of it going away? Uh?
- 16:47Speaker 10: The connection to like It's it was owned by a
- 16:51Speaker 10: company in China, and that was the reason that no
- 16:57Speaker 10: one seemed to be talking much about it. Was more of, oh,
- 17:01Speaker 10: well the kids are you know, they're the productivity is
- 17:05Speaker 10: down or they're depressed or something like that, Like they're
- 17:09Speaker 10: to consumed by this, So that's all we need.
- 17:11Speaker 4: To get rid of it. And what was the reason
- 17:15Speaker 4: that it was restored.
- 17:18Speaker 10: That there would be I think part of some of
- 17:22Speaker 10: it was like sold, some of the like shares or
- 17:25Speaker 10: whatever were sold to Americans. So then it was it
- 17:31Speaker 10: was brought back and then the now President Trump assign
- 17:37Speaker 10: an executive order to restore its operations.
- 17:40Speaker 4: And I had heard a little bit different. I know
- 17:45Speaker 4: that to my calculation was out about fourteen hours. Yeah,
- 17:53Speaker 4: and I'm I'm I'm calculating that by that was the
- 17:59Speaker 4: amount of hours that there were no charges to any accounts.
- 18:04Speaker 4: So my wife own TikTok shop a lot, so just
- 18:08Speaker 4: all day and at some point it went to TikTok
- 18:12Speaker 4: shop where you can, yeah, where you can shop for items,
- 18:16Speaker 4: a lot of items like Amazon, like Amazon, but from
- 18:21Speaker 4: the actual if I'm a guy who sells baseball hats,
- 18:24Speaker 4: I don't have to go on Amazon and search for
- 18:26Speaker 4: baseball hats. I'm showing you modeling. Look, man, this is
- 18:30Speaker 4: a brand new and it's got the logo and I
- 18:34Speaker 4: got it on sale for nine dollars and then you
- 18:36Speaker 4: hit me up on my direct line and I it's
- 18:40Speaker 4: small business kind of online type of thing and a
- 18:45Speaker 4: lot of what they had taken it down. They said
- 18:48Speaker 4: TikTok was a threat to national security. It's owned by
- 18:51Speaker 4: a Chinese company. It does a lot of information gathering
- 18:54Speaker 4: and selling and sharing. So when it went away, they
- 18:58Speaker 4: said that the Trump administration is coming in and with
- 19:00Speaker 4: a more favorable view. But Google and Apple aren't having
- 19:06Speaker 4: it on their app stores, and even though it's available,
- 19:10Speaker 4: there's no support on the platform for it, so they're
- 19:14Speaker 4: in a wait and see. Some people are just anxious
- 19:16Speaker 4: because it gets a lot of traffic, and so for
- 19:19Speaker 4: those platforms, it generates money for them as well as
- 19:22Speaker 4: people use it. Greg, are you happy that it's back
- 19:24Speaker 4: or you could have done without it?
- 19:27Speaker 9: Uh?
- 19:27Speaker 10: I probably could have done without it, probably only because
- 19:32Speaker 10: there are like so many other uh of these other options.
- 19:37Speaker 10: There's someone's talking about one called Lemon eight, another one
- 19:42Speaker 10: called red Note, and it's it's pretty much the same
- 19:46Speaker 10: thing you said.
- 19:48Speaker 4: Probably you like like there was some trepidation about went
- 19:52Speaker 4: out if if I mean I would have if I
- 19:54Speaker 4: removed it from your life right now, what would have
- 19:57Speaker 4: what would happen?
- 19:58Speaker 10: I would have moved on to something else.
- 20:01Speaker 4: Oh okay, so it is replaceable, Yes, yeah, I mean
- 20:05Speaker 4: it's not drugs. Well, no, how we react a lot
- 20:11Speaker 4: of things. We act like it's not carry place. It's
- 20:15Speaker 4: amazing that. I thought it was interesting that President Trump,
- 20:19Speaker 4: and in my opinion, has taken a risk at compromising
- 20:24Speaker 4: the view of national security by allowing it just fourteen
- 20:30Speaker 4: hours to be reinstated, instead of giving the story time
- 20:33Speaker 4: to breathe and investigating when he was the first one
- 20:36Speaker 4: who called for it to be eliminated, all because of
- 20:41Speaker 4: the people can't live without it. And when they interviewed
- 20:44Speaker 4: the people that use it, they all said, I will
- 20:46Speaker 4: find something else. It's not that serious or it could
- 20:48Speaker 4: have been truly where in that time period, because you
- 20:52Speaker 4: imagine when big issues come on board, we've already come
- 20:57Speaker 4: up with a plan. Now you either accept it or not.
- 21:02Speaker 4: Maybe it took you just fourteen hours to decide to
- 21:06Speaker 4: sign off on it, but we've already worked out what

- 21:16Speaker 4: TikTok only was gone for about fourteen hours, you know,
- 21:21Speaker 4: and for some people that probably was the longest break
- 21:23Speaker 4: they've had without it since its inception. Yeah right, my
- 21:28Speaker 4: ring camera was empty. So President Trump to the rescue.
- 21:38Speaker 4: In his mind, at least, I'm quite sure there's a
- 21:40Speaker 4: lot of people who spent countless hours of making this
- 21:45Speaker 4: continue to happen. But in our society, as we know,
- 21:49Speaker 4: in the NFL, the quarterback gets all the applause and
- 21:54Speaker 4: all the booze. Everybody else is okay. It's all about

- 25:50Speaker 4: On my dashing Welcome back to this one shock show,
- 25:54Speaker 4: this one shock, Wayne Gandy. Yesterday's action in the NFL
- 26:00Speaker 4: brought us two great games, twenty eight to twenty two
- 26:06Speaker 4: the Eagles over my La Rams, a game I really
- 26:12Speaker 4: felt like my Rams were going to pull off the upset,
- 26:17Speaker 4: and early on it looked like they were going to
- 26:19Speaker 4: be able to put that together thirteen to ten at halftime.
- 26:25Speaker 4: Game ended up being twenty eight to twenty two. Sake one.
- 26:29Speaker 4: Barkley started to take over. As the snow fell. The
- 26:35Speaker 4: run game of the Eagles exploded on the scene. Barkley
- 26:39Speaker 4: going for two hundred and five yards two touchdowns rushing
- 26:45Speaker 4: in the game. Kyen Williams on the other side, not
- 26:49Speaker 4: a bad day for him, nineteen carries, one hundred and
- 26:52Speaker 4: six yards rushing, but Saque's big runs really kept the
- 26:58Speaker 4: pressure on the Rams. The Eagles with that top notch defense,
- 27:04Speaker 4: one of the top two or three defenses ranked in
- 27:07Speaker 4: the NFL. Jalen Carter the big nose tackle, putting in
- 27:11Speaker 4: work out of Uga, and just a tough loss for
- 27:17Speaker 4: the Rams in a way put a season together that
- 27:23Speaker 4: I would say is very surprising. You didn't see that
- 27:26Speaker 4: across the board. They had a lot of young draft
- 27:30Speaker 4: picks really show out when you look at a team
- 27:34Speaker 4: more than have been veterans. That's why you don't know
- 27:36Speaker 4: any names. It's not a lot of outside of Cooper,
- 27:39Speaker 4: cup Stafford and Pakua. Yeah, the rest of the team
- 27:46Speaker 4: when you hear the name, but they're so young, especially
- 27:49Speaker 4: on the defense. But now the Eagles will sit there
- 27:53Speaker 4: and get the cheese steaks ready. I'm quite sure. Maybe
- 27:56Speaker 4: the next show we will talk about some fans fighting,
- 28:01Speaker 4: you know in the stands. You know, we got to
- 28:05Speaker 4: just wait on the video. Yeah, that's normal, right, No,
- 28:07Speaker 4: that's just got to wait tomorrow be normal. Video of
- 28:12Speaker 4: slapping horses and all that kind of stuff. You know,
- 28:14Speaker 4: they like to get down and that's just that's just
- 28:16Speaker 4: the family sitting in the living room, even at the
- 28:21Speaker 4: game watch party. Uh So they will take on the
- 28:27Speaker 4: Washington Commanders, who surprised a lot of people, and the
- 28:34Speaker 4: way that they beat the Lions. The Lions fans are reeling.
- 28:41Speaker 9: Is that what that.
- 28:44Speaker 4: Thettle tender. One of our loyal listeners, Uncle Charlie, Ah,
- 28:52Speaker 4: Uncle walcome and chose violence this morning. He said, Oh
- 28:54Speaker 4: my god, good morning, fellas. As a Lions fan, I
- 28:59Speaker 4: feel more like a Cowboys fan or a Jets fan
- 29:02Speaker 4: right now I'm talking about we ain't even had coffee.
- 29:06Speaker 4: He's just gonna swing on us. So the Cowboy fan
- 29:08Speaker 4: being command you Gregg, and the j Ets Jets Jets
- 29:12Speaker 4: Jet being oom blood great nephew just throwed me under
- 29:20Speaker 4: the bus. Hey, Hey, welcome to the club. Ky all
- 29:25Speaker 4: at the house. Now you know what I'm saying. Great season,
- 29:28Speaker 4: But you sitting next to me right now, pass me
- 29:30Speaker 4: to guacamali forty five to thirty one. I wasn't expecting
- 29:37Speaker 4: that in this game. Where the Lions and talking about
- 29:43Speaker 4: the game, their defense of injuries, all the injuries, I
- 29:49Speaker 4: think finally showed itself. You know, some things don't. Sometimes
- 29:53Speaker 4: you get away with something before it catches up with you.
- 29:57Speaker 4: Big Ken, you probably have a lot of experience. Hey, hey,
- 30:00Speaker 4: why everybody this morning? Wow? And that's kind of why
- 30:05Speaker 4: the Lions have been doing great work. They got the bye,
- 30:08Speaker 4: they had home field advantage. The injuries, no matter who
- 30:12Speaker 4: got knocked out defensively especially, it seems whoever stepped in,
- 30:19Speaker 4: they never stepped They never lost a beat in this game.
- 30:24Speaker 4: Those couple of players and that specific talent set that
- 30:27Speaker 4: they have, skill set, you feel like could have been
- 30:30Speaker 4: that different manager. Yeah, it was needed for this level
- 30:34Speaker 4: of comedy. This game here where Jade and Daniels. Brian Robinson,
- 30:39Speaker 4: the running back, had a nice game. He spread the
- 30:43Speaker 4: ball around. He was only twenty two or thirty one,
- 30:47Speaker 4: but when you look at it, four or five receivers
- 30:51Speaker 4: had five plus catches, Like he was spreading the ball
- 30:54Speaker 4: the one that main one person, so everybody had to
- 30:57Speaker 4: guard everybody had and that's kind of how they attacked them, Like, Hey,
- 31:01Speaker 4: all of you guys out here aren't healthy now, and
- 31:05Speaker 4: for some reason didn't feel kind of like, I don't know,
- 31:09Speaker 4: like the Commanders were like there was a race going on,
- 31:14Speaker 4: and you look over your shoulder and you saw the
- 31:17Speaker 4: guys that you thought would be in the race, and
- 31:19Speaker 4: then you could see this kid, like over here, you
- 31:21Speaker 4: could see his shoulders, but he wasn't that close. But
- 31:24Speaker 4: he's time you look over your shoulder. This dude's getting
- 31:26Speaker 4: a little closer, and now he's right next to you,
- 31:29Speaker 4: and you hadn't really sized him up yet. You see
- 31:32Speaker 4: what I'm saying.
- 31:33Speaker 10: That's how I think a lot of people, include me,
- 31:36Speaker 10: looked at their Commanders this season.
- 31:38Speaker 4: They won twelve games. That's what it blew when I
- 31:42Speaker 4: saw the record at the end of the game. When
- 31:44Speaker 4: I saw their record, I was like, man, these dudes
- 31:47Speaker 4: have been winning a lot of games and nobody has
- 31:50Speaker 4: been paying attention to that. So maybe they caught themselves
- 31:55Speaker 4: leaning back on their heels a little bit. They had
- 31:58Speaker 4: the buye if anything you're talking about, Lions had to
- 32:02Speaker 4: buy And I said before, sometimes you catch a team
- 32:06Speaker 4: that's in a good groove at that point. So I'm
- 32:10Speaker 4: already kind of running, so you have the speed to
- 32:13Speaker 4: catch me, but I'm already in motion, which means that
- 32:17Speaker 4: you have to earn more energy. And as Greg alluded to,
- 32:23Speaker 4: I think some in these games, some things are because
- 32:28Speaker 4: it wasn't completely pressed in your face. You start talking
- 32:34Speaker 4: about a team that can win eleven twelve games, then
- 32:36Speaker 4: that's a dangerous team. Yeah, yeah, that you're not playing
- 32:41Speaker 4: a team. You know, this is not like wee we
- 32:44Speaker 4: might have squeezed in the playoffs based on the sense
- 32:48Speaker 4: that we didn't win our division, but we didn't squeeze
- 32:51Speaker 4: in one of those we were eight and eight. You know,
- 32:55Speaker 4: one of those we barely because somebody two other teams lost.
- 33:00Speaker 4: Kind of how the Falcons was trying to squeeze in
- 33:02Speaker 4: one of them scenarios where these two teams lose. The
- 33:06Speaker 4: Commanders had a great record, a great season, and playing
- 33:11Speaker 4: with a lot of confidence. Yeah you could see it,
- 33:15Speaker 4: and especially winning those three or four games that they
- 33:17Speaker 4: did this season late. It gave them confidence as a
- 33:22Speaker 4: team if we get the ball last week and beat you. Yeah,
- 33:25Speaker 4: And so I just think the Lions people had put
- 33:28Speaker 4: the Lions on a pedalstool that has not actually been
- 33:32Speaker 4: earned yet.
- 33:34Speaker 10: I think they looked at as like a team of
- 33:36Speaker 10: destiny based on what well, And that was the things.
- 33:40Speaker 4: That it seemed like we got this far. Man, come
- 33:43Speaker 4: on like this, this is they had we've been We've
- 33:48Speaker 4: been trying hard enough and we hadn't done this. Well
- 33:50Speaker 4: gone and let us do this. Give us the super
- 33:52Speaker 4: Bowl thing. And because they last year forty niners took
- 33:59Speaker 4: a step back. That means.
- 34:02Speaker 22: Barry Sanders remember the Chevrolet you think about it, the Ford,
- 34:07Speaker 22: same thing, Well, they'll be doing it at home.
- 34:15Speaker 4: And their head coach crying after the game. Ah that
- 34:20Speaker 4: emotional Now, same thing make you laugh, No pun intended
- 34:26Speaker 4: can make you cry. And one of the things that
- 34:28Speaker 4: people had been championing about him so much was his
- 34:32Speaker 4: emotion and his ability to reach his team. Yes, Dan Campbell,
- 34:36Speaker 4: because he's a he's one of those emotional guys and
- 34:38Speaker 4: he can you can feel when he talked. But that's
- 34:42Speaker 4: when things are going great. Everybody likes that energy and
- 34:45Speaker 4: that aye one of us. But then when things go bad, man,
- 34:54Speaker 4: is that look? Is that a good look for the
- 34:57Speaker 4: leader to be sitting down some look? Dick Vermill used
- 35:03Speaker 4: to do that all the time. My coach, he was
- 35:06Speaker 4: my coach like two years with the Rams, and uh,
- 35:12Speaker 4: it was I couldn't. We never deciphered whether it was
- 35:15Speaker 4: real or was he just trying to keep it? Was
- 35:18Speaker 4: he just he knew when to do it because he could.
- 35:23Speaker 4: He could cry like there was might have been some
- 35:26Speaker 4: kind of Catholic priests at side of eighteen age years
- 35:34Speaker 4: that he hadn't resolved yet. Yeah, he just yeah, he
- 35:38Speaker 4: could cry just that easy. He just reflect on being
- 35:41Speaker 4: toiled and uh and he could cry. But Dan Campbell
- 35:48Speaker 4: isn't an emotional guy. Former player, not that far removed
- 35:52Speaker 4: from playing. And I mean, I'm sorry Lions fans. They
- 36:00Speaker 4: they want some kind of sympathy or what what do
- 36:04Speaker 4: they call it? Trophy participation? Come on, man, you know
- 36:10Speaker 4: what I'm talking about. We did good?
- 36:12Speaker 10: Well do you think part of it is that there's
- 36:18Speaker 10: it's very likely that they lose both coordinators to head coaching.
- 36:22Speaker 4: Jobs, so it's Leanne Jackson and Aaron Glenn.
- 36:24Speaker 10: Yeah, well, they're going to get this done now because
- 36:28Speaker 10: we don't know what's gonna happen next year.
- 36:31Speaker 4: You definitely got it. You definitely got it because I'm
- 36:33Speaker 4: quite sure some of these guys are free agents. Yeah,
- 36:37Speaker 4: that's why they call it. When that window closes, they're
- 36:39Speaker 4: saying you start losing coordinators, you start losing your player
- 36:42Speaker 4: that now is two three years older, or one or
- 36:46Speaker 4: two of your key players now are free agents somewhere else.
- 36:50Speaker 4: You missed that window, and they definitely, from his expectations.
- 36:54Speaker 2: Could be.
- 36:56Speaker 4: In that little spot where they're start. They're going to
- 36:58Speaker 4: start losing them lives of what they called advantages, right
- 37:02Speaker 4: because hey, they had that window that Aaron Rodgers comes here,
- 37:06Speaker 4: and this year we've got the pieces too, and then right,
- 37:11Speaker 4: it's gone, Right, it's gone. We'll be back with more
- 37:13Speaker 4: to Sports Jock Show right after this. Well, who is talking?
- 37:29Speaker 2: Don't go away.

- 38:35Speaker 12: I'm Ryan Blaney, a third generational race car driver, and

- 38:40Speaker 12: fast as possible. My Grandpa Loo is the reason why
- 38:42Speaker 12: my dad and I started racing, and I'm really proud
- 38:44Speaker 12: to follow on his tracks. But when my grandpa was
- 38:46Speaker 12: diagnosed with Alzheimer's, it was a very unexpected bump in
- 38:49Speaker 12: the road for us. I've learned a lot on this
- 38:51Speaker 12: journey with my Grandpa Lou, and the memories of my
- 38:53Speaker 12: grandpa will always be with me. It's important to notice
- 38:56Speaker 12: if older family members are acting differently, experiencing problems with
- 38:59Speaker 12: their memory, or having trouble with routine tasks. Talking about
- 39:02Speaker 12: Alzheimer's can be really tough, but if you notice something,

- 40:08Speaker 4: Welcome back to this boy Shock show up the Spoy
- 40:10Speaker 4: Shock Wing KNDy the first college football playoff, twelve team playoff.
- 40:21Speaker 4: We'll be decided tonight Notre Dame, Ohio State here in
- 40:26Speaker 4: Atlanta seven point thirty Hopefully it starts on time, and
- 40:32Speaker 4: you know it's a long journey with these high school games.
- 40:36Speaker 4: Seven thirty means the game be over maybe eleven fifteen.
- 40:40Speaker 4: I mean that's how home them games. They take off
- 40:42Speaker 4: sometimes almost four hours to get it all in. You'd
- 40:47Speaker 4: be thinking it's an extended what do they call those
- 40:51Speaker 4: the movie intend to cut directors cut National Championship game
- 40:58Speaker 4: directors cut, so along sometimes. I did see USC has
- 41:03Speaker 4: hired uh Rob Ryan, twin brother of Rex Ryan, to
- 41:09Speaker 4: be kind of undisclosed coach. I haven't really given him
- 41:15Speaker 4: a I saw linebackers. It's a linebacker slash advisory of advisory,
- 41:26Speaker 4: not something. Why do they do that? Why? Why did
- 41:31Speaker 4: they do that? Why don't why don't they just say, yeah, dude,
- 41:33Speaker 4: work work, Yeah? Why do they go like he.
- 41:36Speaker 10: Comes in as a divisor it's an assistant head coach
- 41:40Speaker 10: for defense slash linebackers.
- 41:42Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, that guy because you know that position. Yeah,
- 41:47Speaker 4: that's since the the head coach of the defense. So
- 41:53Speaker 4: that makes him one of those guys from the Lions.
- 41:56Speaker 4: One of the guys from the Lions is up from
- 41:58Speaker 4: that job right now. But Rob Rob Bryan is up
- 42:02Speaker 4: for that. I don't know has Rob ever coached in college?
- 42:07Speaker 10: Remember he was in college. He was at Oklahoma State
- 42:13Speaker 10: defensive coordinator. Yeah, it's Rex. It's never coached college. He's
- 42:17Speaker 10: always been a pro coach.
- 42:20Speaker 4: Rex did do college to Let's see, I don't remember
- 42:23Speaker 4: Rex doing college. I'm surprised Rob. I remember Rob did
- 42:27Speaker 4: some college.
- 42:28Speaker 10: I remember that Rex was last in college. He was
- 42:32Speaker 10: the defensive coordinator Oklahoma.
- 42:35Speaker 4: Okay, okay, so they both have been I wasn't surprised
- 42:39Speaker 4: to see Rob because I knew he had. He had
- 42:40Speaker 4: done a stint in college. But he's back at USC
- 42:45Speaker 4: as the assistant head coach for the defense. The big
- 42:51Speaker 4: Kennedy Jack Bauer, because that's one of those titles, like
- 42:57Speaker 4: what do you do? I'm for international security? What does
- 43:03Speaker 4: that mean? I can't go to jail? Another note, I
- 43:11Speaker 4: was going to ask you guys. Every article I read
- 43:14Speaker 4: about coach Belichick, it says Bill Belichick's twenty four year
- 43:19Speaker 4: old girlfriend Bill Belichick's should this young lady be able
- 43:24Speaker 4: to sue for some type of age discrimination? I mean, what, like,
- 43:38Speaker 4: how is she being the scrime? I mean, as a
- 43:41Speaker 4: descript you're bullying her through always pointing out a difference
- 43:49Speaker 4: before you even tell me who she is. So it's
- 43:52Speaker 4: not like Bill Belichick's girlfriend Jordan whatever her name is,
- 43:58Speaker 4: who is twenty four? You're the headline says Bill Belichick's
- 44:03Speaker 4: twenty four year old girlfriend, and it and the leads
- 44:07Speaker 4: sort of like you got a issue with her being
- 44:10Speaker 4: twenty four, and almost as if it lends itself to
- 44:15Speaker 4: somehow she's taking advantage of an elderly person. Well, if
- 44:19Speaker 4: I put Bill Belichi, if I put Bill Belichick's Asian girlfriend,
- 44:25Speaker 4: what could I do with that?
- 44:28Speaker 10: Yeah, that could appear racist. Okay, So in that point,
- 44:33Speaker 10: by just using that and not like using her name,
- 44:37Speaker 10: and that's that's what I'm saying.
- 44:39Speaker 4: I wrote it down, it started Bill Belichick, and I
- 44:42Speaker 4: went through several of them, and before they ever get
- 44:45Speaker 4: around to her name, it's the third paragraph they tell
- 44:48Speaker 4: you how old she is, right right, like they're trying
- 44:51Speaker 4: to run that home to you where and which would
- 44:55Speaker 4: have been the cool the first couple of months, But
- 44:58Speaker 4: now I mean this and you're still driving home The
- 45:03Speaker 4: point it's only is that the byproduct that you told
- 45:06Speaker 4: me I couldn't talk about her gender or her race anymore.
- 45:10Speaker 4: I used to bring that up. I used to talk
- 45:12Speaker 4: about how she was blinde you know, I'm just something identified.
- 45:16Speaker 4: What they said identifying was stereotyped. But I still use
- 45:20Speaker 4: girlfriend year old companion. But if she was one, you
- 45:27Speaker 4: wouldn't say her age. That's true. No, you would have
- 45:32Speaker 4: pointed that out maybe the first article, just to let
- 45:36Speaker 4: you know that she was younger, but you were considerably younger. Still,
- 45:39Speaker 4: you wouldn't keep referring to her a sixty one year
- 45:42Speaker 4: old girlfriend of Bill Belichick. Yes, so I don't know,
- 45:47Speaker 4: maybe there could be some grounds for asking people to
- 45:51Speaker 4: stop doing that. I don't know if there's some kind
- 45:54Speaker 4: of libelous well, hey, you're attached to the man wants
- 45:58Speaker 4: some money for lady. Ever since that case, everything that
- 46:02Speaker 4: pops up. Remember we had talked about in La or California,
- 46:07Speaker 4: San Francisco, I think, and the guy won a case
- 46:10Speaker 4: where said they because I had started letting the men
- 46:14Speaker 4: in free too, that they couldn't have ladies nice night
- 46:17Speaker 4: right because they owner closed the bar because he said
- 46:21Speaker 4: the lawsuit cost him so much money with lawyers that
- 46:24Speaker 4: he was unable to keep it up for men or women.
- 46:27Speaker 4: So when I see these cases now, it registers like
- 46:31Speaker 4: does this person have well we We've also we've seen
- 46:37Speaker 4: restaurants sued because they only had one cherry in the
- 46:43Speaker 4: cherry pie. No, seriously, we've seen that. We've seen your
- 46:47Speaker 4: cherry pie guy. No, No, but I'm saying that Hustle
- 46:51Speaker 4: might have been a nice little late hey man. One
- 46:54Speaker 4: cherry in this cherry pie don't look like the box.
- 46:57Speaker 4: I remember when McDonald's got sued for that, and so
- 47:02Speaker 4: anything we can slide past. I think people are willing
- 47:05Speaker 4: to give a try, and I would just as we
- 47:08Speaker 4: go to break as a young lady. It's one thing,
- 47:11Speaker 4: say Bill Belichick and then say her name and then
- 47:15Speaker 4: to me if that's what you needed to tell people,
- 47:18Speaker 4: but to always make sure that's in the headline, that's
- 47:21Speaker 4: in bold print. Yeah, it is before you even get
- 47:25Speaker 4: around to me. To me, that's you having an issue.
- 47:29Speaker 4: That's agism. That I'm twenty four and he's seventy two.
- 47:32Speaker 4: That's agism. If I wouldn't, if I wouldn't hire him
- 47:35Speaker 4: because he was seventy two, if I kept bringing that up,
- 47:38Speaker 4: you'd say that's unfair to him. We'll be back more
- 47:41Speaker 4: to Sports Shock Show right after this.

- 50:11Speaker 8: To me as.
- 50:30Speaker 4: Welcome back to this one Shock show him, this one
- 50:32Speaker 4: shock Wing Gandy. Good morning to you once again, Happy
- 50:37Speaker 4: Martin Luther King Day. Typically this day is all to itself,
- 50:41Speaker 4: but with the inauguration happening today, with the National Championship
- 50:47Speaker 4: Game tonight, and as I said, we will check going
- 50:51Speaker 4: into the next hour. There should be a game on
- 50:54Speaker 4: at noon somewhere. I have a dream. The NBA typically
- 50:58Speaker 4: puts on about four five, kind of like a Christmas
- 51:01Speaker 4: Day schedule for Martin Luther King holiday, which his birthday
- 51:07Speaker 4: was like last Wednesday. Yeah, but they always set aside
- 51:11Speaker 4: a Monday making a holiday because people don't like to
- 51:14Speaker 4: go to work. Now, I had like four hundred school
- 51:17Speaker 4: teachers over to watch the game last night. I'm sure,
- 51:21Speaker 4: the whole Abbot Elementary. I'm sure, I'm sure. I'm sure.
- 51:26Speaker 4: I'm like, why y'all still here? It's one o'clock, and
- 51:29Speaker 4: oh we don't have no school? Oh you ran out
- 51:31Speaker 4: of tequila?
- 51:32Speaker 10: Hold on, huh, I.
- 51:34Speaker 4: Thought y'all got school in the morning. I got teachers
- 51:36Speaker 4: and kids at.
- 51:37Speaker 10: My hot you're talking about the what the Hawks? Normally
- 51:40Speaker 10: it's normally a home game, yes, uh, there on the
- 51:43Speaker 10: road today they play at three o'clock, but it looks
- 51:46Speaker 10: like playing the next Yeah, they're playing the next And
- 51:49Speaker 10: because normally the Hawks and the Grizzlies would have a
- 51:53Speaker 10: home game, yes.
- 51:55Speaker 4: Yeah, but uh, Atlanta then rented everything out, so shall
- 52:00Speaker 4: can't come home today?
- 52:02Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 52:02Speaker 4: Usually even as somebody room. I was explaining to some people.
- 52:06Speaker 4: Typically the inauguration is not on King Holiday, Yeah it
- 52:13Speaker 4: fall this year. Just happened to fall on the same day.
- 52:17Speaker 10: Well because it's yeah, the ration is on the January twentieth,
- 52:20Speaker 10: no matter what day, right, uh and the king Our
- 52:23Speaker 10: Day is the third Monday on the third month. That's
- 52:26Speaker 10: something that just happened to sink together because you know
- 52:30Speaker 10: when people just want to they one way they think
- 52:34Speaker 10: and they ready to put it on and blame because
- 52:37Speaker 10: they started off as see how Trump just trying to take.
- 52:40Speaker 4: Off man when he first when he first thought about
- 52:45Speaker 4: running for president, you know that he saw that if
- 52:48Speaker 4: he ever get a second term, it'll sink up with
- 52:51Speaker 4: the King Holiday and then he'll just step all over
- 52:53Speaker 4: that many. So you do know Trump has no power
- 52:58Speaker 4: in that. See that that that's what they want you
- 53:00Speaker 4: to think. Has nothing to do with who is the president.
- 53:05Speaker 4: What they want you That's how much them Trump people
- 53:08Speaker 4: want you to think. And then when I told him,
- 53:11Speaker 4: like you, I just explained this last night, Oh, they
- 53:15Speaker 4: have like you have invented fire. They have that look
- 53:19Speaker 4: of genuine like man because you be thinking they're playing,
- 53:22Speaker 4: but then their their eyes and their face body language jail,
- 53:26Speaker 4: you can tell all the face ces. Let you know
- 53:28Speaker 4: the deeper know that this is why you should have
- 53:31Speaker 4: stayed up in social studies. Everybody thinks social studies was
- 53:35Speaker 4: just a waste of class. Social studies. Back in class,
- 53:40Speaker 4: I thought social studies man studying the social you know
- 53:43Speaker 4: what I'm saying. I thought I was doing research. You
- 53:48Speaker 4: mean they was like like y'all sat down and had
- 53:50Speaker 4: a bucket everything. They were teaching you things like this,
- 53:57Speaker 4: how the formation of the inaugurate when the president can
- 54:02Speaker 4: go in when he I thought it was the cave party,
- 54:06Speaker 4: because there was a long period where people thought as
- 54:10Speaker 4: soon as you are elected president, you become president. Yeah tomorrow, No,
- 54:17Speaker 4: I'm gonna start now, and they call you president. How
- 54:23Speaker 4: come dudes still in his house? Yeah, you were sleeping.
- 54:29Speaker 4: Social studies did or didn't go. Some of us were away.
- 54:35Speaker 4: We just we just didn't understand the assignment. The great
- 54:40Speaker 4: dun stay at South Carolina? Whose team yesterday? And I
- 54:47Speaker 4: think when don does something specialize yesterday, she had on
- 54:50Speaker 4: the Eagles jacket because she's from Philly, and she's never
- 54:57Speaker 4: been shy of letting you know that's where she from.
- 54:59Speaker 4: Phil ever since I've ever known her name. She took
- 55:02Speaker 4: pride in being for Philly, the good and the bad.
- 55:06Speaker 4: But when you decide that you're going to start wearing
- 55:08Speaker 4: other team stuff, then what you have to do is
- 55:10Speaker 4: your team has to go out and dominate so big
- 55:15Speaker 4: that the alumni like, you know what, let's give him
- 55:18Speaker 4: some money. Don't worry about that. They just they just
- 55:24Speaker 4: wake up with the hey man, let's let's give him
- 55:26Speaker 4: some money and let her get some custom made. That.
- 55:29Speaker 10: That's the opposite effect for Karl Anthony Towns, who wore
- 55:35Speaker 10: an Eagle sweater and they made him change it. I
- 55:39Speaker 10: don't know if they made him change it or he
- 55:40Speaker 10: ended up changing it.
- 55:42Speaker 4: Oh Dinny. I never saw the second bar. I know,
- 55:44Speaker 4: I saw him come in. I was like, okay, you
- 55:47Speaker 4: rhyding with the Eagles, But I don't understand how I'm
- 55:50Speaker 4: having an issue when it's a different sport. If he
- 55:56Speaker 4: if he's an Eagles fan, he's at a They were
- 55:59Speaker 4: all kind of other crazy who is whose shirt? Whoever
- 56:04Speaker 4: the latest brand? What's the one is it? Amari? They
- 56:10Speaker 4: were all other kind of logo. Why can't he wear
- 56:13Speaker 4: his Eagles shirt? It's not because it was Philly. They
- 56:20Speaker 4: were playing the Sixers. But because it's not, it's not
- 56:23Speaker 4: it's not Giants. Well he's not ride with the Giants.
- 56:29Speaker 4: Was he supposed to wear Buffalo?
- 56:31Speaker 10: Because apparently you're supposed to still support whatever team you
- 56:35Speaker 10: play for. For the other sports, you're supposed to support
- 56:38Speaker 10: the team in that city.
- 56:40Speaker 4: I have a question. So if I come play for
- 56:43Speaker 4: the Falcons and I'm a Chicago Bulls fan, you will
- 56:49Speaker 4: get booed. I'm never supposed to come to You're supposed to.
- 56:52Speaker 4: You're supposed to wear the Hawks stuff, but I only
- 56:55Speaker 4: play for the Falcons. You're supposed to support everybody in
- 56:59Speaker 4: the city. I guess, I guess, And now I wanted
- 57:03Speaker 4: to ask. We were asking is there some sort of
- 57:05Speaker 4: grounds for some sort of sick singling out Bill Belichick's
- 57:10Speaker 4: girlfriend in her age. We just had the NBA NFL
- 57:14Speaker 4: go through this whole campaign of telling athletes to be
- 57:17Speaker 4: careful because there are roving bands of sophisticated thieves breaking
- 57:23Speaker 4: into athletes homes. They tell them, don't post all of
- 57:27Speaker 4: your money and talk about your possessions. And then Don
- 57:30Speaker 4: Staley signs a deal and the first thing they said,
- 57:33Speaker 4: twenty five million dollars for docor you know, are we
- 57:37Speaker 4: serious still with this? And she lives in South Carolina,
- 57:40Speaker 4: so surely they're thinking, let's find out where she at. Now, yeah,
- 57:44Speaker 4: you would think it would stop. Think we have stopped
- 57:47Speaker 4: that something I've been saying that you think. I mean,
- 57:50Speaker 4: I don't know how much it helps, but if it
- 57:52Speaker 4: helped one person not get robbed, then it was beneficial. Yeah.
- 57:57Speaker 4: You know, when you talk about crime and things like that,
- 58:01Speaker 4: just stopping one is beneficial. If a rule can be
- 58:06Speaker 4: put in place to stop one murder, we could know
- 58:09Speaker 4: that she was under contract through twenty thirty or whatever
- 58:12Speaker 4: it is, without knowing that it's going to be about
- 58:15Speaker 4: four million a year that she'll be getting. We'll be
- 58:17Speaker 4: back more to Sports Jock Show right after this, talking quarterbacks,
- 58:21Speaker 4: meaning Toky Corty, I gainst them the pain ain't e
- 58:25Speaker 4: ain't gotta saying where I come from? If you open it?
- 58:29Speaker 6: You mean John Boy, Wayne Bord of the Sports Jock
- 58:33Speaker 6: Show with Wayne Dandius coming up next.
- 58:36Speaker 11: And now let's talk about something exciting life insurance. Three
- 58:39Speaker 11: quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
- 58:43Speaker 11: of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 58:46Speaker 11: life insurance.
- 58:47Speaker 27: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 58:49Speaker 27: just getting started with our family and thought we lived forever.
- 58:52Speaker 2: Life insurance was the last thing on my mind.
- 58:54Speaker 4: What about you?
- 58:54Speaker 2: Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 58:57Speaker 27: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 58:59Speaker 27: bills piling up, I was worry how my family was
- 59:01Speaker 27: to vive without me. That's when I'm in an appointment
- 59:03Speaker 27: with the insurance informant.
- 59:04Speaker 11: Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family
- 59:07Speaker 11: security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 59:10Speaker 27: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I'll
- 59:12Speaker 27: leave my family that bills or benefits.
- 59:14Speaker 11: The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 59:16Speaker 11: whether you earn a little or a lot, All you
- 59:19Speaker 11: need is the insurance informant to help you build a
- 59:21Speaker 11: foundation of security, because without you, your family will have
- 59:24Speaker 11: two options, benefits or bills? Which legacy will you leave behind?

- 1:02:04Speaker 4: La Rams home. So, now this Sunday at three o'clock
- 1:02:09Speaker 4: and at six thirty Commander's Eagles, which basically suits up
- 1:02:14Speaker 4: to be a divisional game. These two teams have already
- 1:02:17Speaker 4: played there in the same division. So, and what are
- 1:02:20Speaker 4: the cities about eighty miles apart? Something like that, ninety
- 1:02:24Speaker 4: miles between DC and Philly.
- 1:02:28Speaker 10: Yeah, about ninety three. Yeah, something like that, and they
- 1:02:32Speaker 10: can get there by well, I know people normal to
- 1:02:35Speaker 10: take a train.
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm just gonna say, if it's something like eighty
- 1:02:38Speaker 4: ninety miles, it'd be bus for them.
- 1:02:41Speaker 10: They just bust unless you just like speed.
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: And then the Bills and Chiefs, a matchup that we've
- 1:02:47Speaker 4: seen a lot of times over the last couple of years.
- 1:02:51Speaker 4: And we'll talk about that Bill's Ravens game in a
- 1:02:55Speaker 4: minute in this hour. Sad story coming out of Philly
- 1:03:02Speaker 4: one of those stories that I'm going to speak on
- 1:03:05Speaker 4: just because I believe that we so focused on cases
- 1:03:13Speaker 4: with an angle, whether that be racism, homophobic situations, or
- 1:03:22Speaker 4: even man versus woman. Those stories seem to be, oh,
- 1:03:27Speaker 4: let's get in, and we magnify them as though other
- 1:03:34Speaker 4: incidents like this case is less than okay, because if
- 1:03:42Speaker 4: I take any of those topics I just mentioned and
- 1:03:45Speaker 4: put them on this story, then it becomes a national story.
- 1:03:50Speaker 4: In this case on high school player Noah Scurry out
- 1:03:54Speaker 4: of Philadelphia Academic Whiz. He was ahead of the captain
- 1:04:00Speaker 4: the basketball team. Some offers have been offered to him. Unfortunately,
- 1:04:05Speaker 4: he was murdered last week about seven fifteen in the morning,
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: as he was leaving his driveway, a drive by occurred.
- 1:04:17Speaker 4: His mom was standing at the door. She was not hurt.
- 1:04:21Speaker 4: As far as the report is going, he went to
- 1:04:24Speaker 4: Samuel Fails High School. He also, from what the story
- 1:04:30Speaker 4: has developed into, seems like he was a hip hop artist.
- 1:04:36Speaker 4: His rap style that drill rapper known as OTV Joker.
- 1:04:44Speaker 4: Hopefully I'm singing that right, maybe he says it in
- 1:04:47Speaker 4: a different way. And they were saying that he had
- 1:04:50Speaker 4: just maybe twenty four hours earlier, dropped the song on
- 1:04:54Speaker 4: TikTok or one of the social media platforms, provoking his enemies,
- 1:05:02Speaker 4: another gang called opp and right now investigators have no witnesses,
- 1:05:11Speaker 4: but they are connecting it to maybe he were was
- 1:05:18Speaker 4: gunned down by that group. And that's why I'm reporting
- 1:05:23Speaker 4: that young life seemed like there was some potential there
- 1:05:27Speaker 4: to improve his life. But it really touched me how
- 1:05:33Speaker 4: these stories consistently go on. Look, if you don't have
- 1:05:36Speaker 4: some angle right right, command and Big Kenny, that's the
- 1:05:40Speaker 4: part that I was really you know, yeah, yeah, you
- 1:05:44Speaker 4: understand what I mean. Or it was a cop. Yeah,
- 1:05:50Speaker 4: these are something that you would already seven fifteen while
- 1:05:54Speaker 4: his mama was watching, you know, what I'm saying to me,
- 1:05:56Speaker 4: that's a horrible situation to have been putt in and
- 1:06:00Speaker 4: to have to live through, regardless of the motivation behind it.
- 1:06:03Speaker 4: But outside of Philly, did anybody really know you know
- 1:06:08Speaker 4: what I mean? But uh, we we have someone's say,
- 1:06:14Speaker 4: Noah scurry just looking to look it up scuryous as
- 1:06:18Speaker 4: cure or why. And in these cases where someone screamed
- 1:06:24Speaker 4: some sort of ism, there actually aren't any people physically harmed.
- 1:06:29Speaker 4: There hasn't been any wrong done up to a point,
- 1:06:32Speaker 4: and they just go what about and then they blow
- 1:06:35Speaker 4: you know what I mean? They we had this whole
- 1:06:38Speaker 4: just for example, with Caitlin Clark, that whole thing all
- 1:06:41Speaker 4: she's doing is going to work, clocking in at the job,
- 1:06:45Speaker 4: and we made a whole issue about her against an
- 1:06:51Speaker 4: entire nation of people. And you know, this young man
- 1:06:57Speaker 4: was murdered in front of his mother and I didn't
- 1:07:00Speaker 4: hear anything about it on the news feeds, on the
- 1:07:03Speaker 4: social media, on nothing. You know, some people live in
- 1:07:06Speaker 4: a timeline. It wasn't even on that. So I think
- 1:07:09Speaker 4: there's there's no angle that people could go to to
- 1:07:16Speaker 4: to uh to where like to to get that kind
- 1:07:22Speaker 4: of response Because he's a okay, he's a okay, he's
- 1:07:26Speaker 4: a rapper, but he's also playing. He's a basketball player,
- 1:07:30Speaker 4: a good basketball player, and a great student. Well, it
- 1:07:34Speaker 4: happened the highest SAT scorer in the school, So we
- 1:07:37Speaker 4: don't have an angle. Well, the angles working reverse to
- 1:07:45Speaker 4: all of that that he just named highest s, a
- 1:07:48Speaker 4: t great student. All of that is overshadowed by the
- 1:07:52Speaker 4: words trio rapper because that is supposed to place him
- 1:07:57Speaker 4: in a certain category because of how people view drill rap.
- 1:08:02Speaker 4: So right away that diminishes anything else. And so we're
- 1:08:06Speaker 4: always looking for the keywords, the buzz words to search
- 1:08:12Speaker 4: your story. So because we were talking about Philadelphia and
- 1:08:16Speaker 4: Don Staley and the Eagles winning and then Carl Anthony
- 1:08:20Speaker 4: Towns changing his Eagles jersey and all of that, and
- 1:08:24Speaker 4: this happened right there in Philly in the last seven
- 1:08:26Speaker 4: days and no mention of and just how our society
- 1:08:32Speaker 4: has changed that if you don't have an angle, people
- 1:08:37Speaker 4: almost like like we always say, oh, chalking to the game.
- 1:08:43Speaker 4: No seventeen year old kid seven fifteen in the morning,
- 1:08:47Speaker 4: So it's walking out of his driveway to school and
- 1:08:52Speaker 4: somebody woke up like, wow, come home. Clips in their gun.
- 1:08:58Speaker 4: All of that and winning late. Didn't wait for this kid,
- 1:09:01Speaker 4: except I mean, most teenagers ain't up that early. And
- 1:09:06Speaker 4: to get some work, to put in, some work, to
- 1:09:08Speaker 4: put that early work. That's a news story in itself.
- 1:09:12Speaker 4: Not under the cover of darkness, nicking hide and underneath
- 1:09:16Speaker 4: the car, something bright and early. As soon as you
- 1:09:20Speaker 4: walk out of the door, down the driveway, going to
- 1:09:24Speaker 4: shoot him dead, it's just as a yeah, then what
- 1:09:30Speaker 4: go get a nap because I've been up for a
- 1:09:32Speaker 4: long time already. And then a week later for investigators
- 1:09:35Speaker 4: saying because truly, if nobody comes up, they won't have
- 1:09:40Speaker 4: any way of proving it. So hopefully they will, young man,
- 1:09:45Speaker 4: as I said, Noah Scurry seventeen years old. Maverick Carter
- 1:09:52Speaker 4: is advising a collective that has about five billion dollars
- 1:10:00Speaker 4: to start a new basketball league. No name has been
- 1:10:05Speaker 4: put up there what the league would be called, but
- 1:10:08Speaker 4: it's supposed to rival the NBA. That's a significant amount
- 1:10:12Speaker 4: of money. Five billion dollars. Yes, yes, that's different than
- 1:10:16Speaker 4: the X x F whatever. It's the uf L now yeah, yeah, whatever?
- 1:10:22Speaker 4: The rock them guy? Five bill that's tiger Woodsn't the
- 1:10:29Speaker 4: money right there? You mean, somebody trying to start a
- 1:10:32Speaker 4: new basketball league for real, for real? Right five billion?
- 1:10:36Speaker 4: We can build a first arena and you know what
- 1:10:40Speaker 4: I mean, and steal staff the game. So yeah, And
- 1:10:45Speaker 4: that's why it stood out to me because of the
- 1:10:49Speaker 4: most of the times when you hear a league, the
- 1:10:52Speaker 4: money shows you how far they're really they're just trying
- 1:10:55Speaker 4: to catch that little extra money on the side, right right.
- 1:10:58Speaker 4: But when you hear this, this is padillion, sounds like
- 1:11:03Speaker 4: how probably the PGA was thinking liua oh man. Now
- 1:11:09Speaker 4: I want to ask you this Maverick Carter that he's
- 1:11:12Speaker 4: famously tied to Lebron James. Correct, Lebron James agent, right,
- 1:11:16Speaker 4: Lebron James may be on his way out in you know,
- 1:11:18Speaker 4: the twilight of his career. Do you think that this
- 1:11:21Speaker 4: is setting up some sort of leverage to go? All right, now,
- 1:11:25Speaker 4: I can either start this new league, y'all can go
- 1:11:29Speaker 4: let me be an owner of a team. It could
- 1:11:31Speaker 4: be pressure. It could be a quiet collective. You know,
- 1:11:35Speaker 4: some of the most powerful things that you can ever
- 1:11:37Speaker 4: put together is if if you do it in quiet. Yes,
- 1:11:41Speaker 4: so it could be Lebron and a whole bunch of
- 1:11:46Speaker 4: other heavyweight big pocket basketball guys, guys that can piece
- 1:11:55Speaker 4: together and know the entrails the next to actually make
- 1:12:02Speaker 4: a sustainable league, because the NBA really does function without
- 1:12:07Speaker 4: check right, And you've really never heard of anybody even
- 1:12:12Speaker 4: trying to compete with them. No, I mean even in failing.
- 1:12:17Speaker 4: The NFL has been tried a couple of times in there,
- 1:12:22Speaker 4: like the NBA's only competition is their own league, their
- 1:12:27Speaker 4: little brother. So you know, but they run that, and
- 1:12:29Speaker 4: they run that exactly. That's my point, and the un
- 1:12:32Speaker 4: the w NBA, yes they do. So could this again?
- 1:12:37Speaker 4: Could this just be also? All right?
- 1:12:39Speaker 29: Now?
- 1:12:39Speaker 4: We could if we want to. So I think this
- 1:12:43Speaker 4: is Tiger Woods back in the day threatening to go
- 1:12:46Speaker 4: start his own tour. I think five billion dollars is
- 1:12:50Speaker 4: saying that somebody feels like there's another league that can
- 1:12:53Speaker 4: be created. Yes, that we don't know if to beat
- 1:12:57Speaker 4: the NBA, but five billion says that we're gonna give
- 1:13:00Speaker 4: it a good try. Yeah, we only even want that
- 1:13:01Speaker 4: kind of competition. We'll be back more to Sports Shot
- 1:13:04Speaker 4: show right after this about warning.
- 1:13:06Speaker 29: The best be gone a passion when you walk past me,
- 1:13:11Speaker 29: nasty ahead, nasty try me call me jump going down
- 1:13:16Speaker 29: on the Blackest List with the navigat shown.

- 1:18:27Speaker 4: daughter of Joan Rivers, is fifty seven. Joan would be
- 1:18:32Speaker 4: about one hundred now.
- 1:18:33Speaker 26: She was only.
- 1:18:34Speaker 4: Sixty three, because you know she Hollywood ad So when
- 1:18:38Speaker 4: in Hollywood you bout forty two years younger than your

- 1:18:50Speaker 4: it too far. But Melissa is fifty seven. Nick Anderson
- 1:18:53Speaker 4: is fifty seven. Nick Foles only thirty six years old?
- 1:18:57Speaker 4: Is Nick? He wasn't in the league this year, was he? Now?

- 1:19:36Speaker 2: Went to the moon.
- 1:19:37Speaker 4: It ain't him.
- 1:19:38Speaker 10: He's still with it.
- 1:19:39Speaker 4: Ain't him. It ain't real Buzz. I'm telling you that
- 1:19:43Speaker 4: somebody came back in his place. I'm not saying he
- 1:19:46Speaker 4: don't like Buzz. I'm not saying he don't look like Buzz.
- 1:19:50Speaker 4: I'm saying this Buzz is still here with you. Ken
- 1:19:53Speaker 4: ninety five years old, or is he? All the rest
- 1:19:57Speaker 4: of them dudes went they at they'd have went on
- 1:19:59Speaker 4: to the great on the Buzz still around here riding bikes.
- 1:20:03Speaker 4: Some ain't right. Some ain't right. Maybe BUZS was the
- 1:20:07Speaker 4: youngest of all. Okay, whatever, how old is he the
- 1:20:10Speaker 4: day that ninety five? Ninety five? And it says right here,
- 1:20:15Speaker 4: he's going to wrestle at w in three days. So
- 1:20:22Speaker 4: you tell me, is it Buzz or is it memorys?
- 1:20:26Speaker 4: I was shocked too that Buzz was still here. I
- 1:20:29Speaker 4: could have spoil he had blasted off. I thought he
- 1:20:32Speaker 4: did too, but he keep coming back. But he called.
- 1:20:34Speaker 4: He must have found some up there in space to
- 1:20:36Speaker 4: keep him alive, Big Kenny, of any work you got
- 1:20:39Speaker 4: on you, it's inauguration day, it's National Championship day. Were
- 1:20:43Speaker 4: talking about Islams all day. So the only one I
- 1:20:46Speaker 4: could clock in on that would encompass all of those
- 1:20:50Speaker 4: categories would be Stacey Dash. She Republican one day, she
- 1:20:54Speaker 4: a woman one day, next day she's something else. She
- 1:20:57Speaker 4: from out of space. You see what I'm saying. People
- 1:20:59Speaker 4: don't like she. She loved basketball in the next day
- 1:21:02Speaker 4: is for slave. I don't know, and she don't know either.
- 1:21:05Speaker 4: Sons like me. I could wake up and play that
- 1:21:10Speaker 4: call Hold long stay, I didn't know, Oh, command your
- 1:21:20Speaker 4: grid you had you had a couple of more points
- 1:21:23Speaker 4: on that NBA. Right, yes, okay, we were talking about
- 1:21:28Speaker 4: Maverick Carter leading up with five billion trying to create
- 1:21:31Speaker 4: a new not new NBA, a new basketball league, right yeah,
- 1:21:35Speaker 4: so yeah, some people thought it was it was going
- 1:21:38Speaker 4: to rifle the NBA, but that's not exactly the case.
- 1:21:42Speaker 10: It's the A lot of sources say it's in the form.
- 1:21:46Speaker 10: It's kind of the format of Formula one that they
- 1:21:51Speaker 10: would be six teams, six men's team, six women's teams,
- 1:21:55Speaker 10: go to different places around the world, spend two weeks
- 1:21:59Speaker 10: in each city and play games. Uh Singapore has been
- 1:22:02Speaker 10: reported as one of the places that they'll play, So
- 1:22:07Speaker 10: something like a World Cup. Yeah, yeah, oversaturation of basketball
- 1:22:13Speaker 10: more like like you have with Formula one, where they
- 1:22:16Speaker 10: go around the world.
- 1:22:17Speaker 4: That's what I'm saying. Like the soccer kind of what
- 1:22:21Speaker 4: is that FIFA which one is it kind of moves
- 1:22:24Speaker 4: every or am I getting it confused?
- 1:22:27Speaker 9: Uh?
- 1:22:28Speaker 10: Well no, not not really in soccer do they do
- 1:22:30Speaker 10: they do that? It's it's more of like like live
- 1:22:35Speaker 10: or for f one and just sort of like a
- 1:22:39Speaker 10: brand kind of like an on a on a on
- 1:22:42Speaker 10: just a national scale. How with the Big Three league,
- 1:22:45Speaker 10: they would just go to different cities.
- 1:22:47Speaker 4: So like crack is big in Chicago, but in Danville, Illinois,
- 1:22:51Speaker 4: it would be super huge. Okay, I get it. Okay,
- 1:22:59Speaker 4: so oh well, we'll see. As I said, five billion,
- 1:23:02Speaker 4: give it a lot of legs, uh to have if
- 1:23:05Speaker 4: you've gotten that kind of war chest. Yeah, and I
- 1:23:08Speaker 4: guess I guess countries like a Singapore and some of
- 1:23:12Speaker 4: those other markets don't get as much basketball as we
- 1:23:14Speaker 4: get here. Got you. We'll be back from more to

- 1:26:21Speaker 4: The Sea, back to the Black Snoop Doggy, Welcome back
- 1:26:26Speaker 4: to this Boy Shock Show. I'm this one Shock Wing Candy.
- 1:26:29Speaker 4: We have been enjoying some of the sounds of Snoop
- 1:26:32Speaker 4: Dogg and Nelly, Soldier Boy Rick Ross. All those performers
- 1:26:39Speaker 4: have during the last couple of days performed at the
- 1:26:43Speaker 4: Trump Andation event. Coming on a little scrutiny, most of them,
- 1:26:50Speaker 4: like Nelly, has come and stood up for himself and
- 1:26:53Speaker 4: said that it is an honor to perform for the
- 1:26:57Speaker 4: presidential office. That's how his stance, and I would expect that,
- 1:27:03Speaker 4: especially from someone like a Nelly. I think most in
- 1:27:07Speaker 4: the artists, when you think about them, uh, they're other
- 1:27:10Speaker 4: than I don't know, soldier boys age, but you're talking
- 1:27:13Speaker 4: about gentlemen that at least forty five plus in age
- 1:27:17Speaker 4: would have more of. We had a fight, and then
- 1:27:22Speaker 4: we both got up and we shut hands, and then
- 1:27:26Speaker 4: we supported each other. We got to fight out the way.
- 1:27:29Speaker 4: It's kind of like how the dad would take the
- 1:27:31Speaker 4: two brothers in the back. Okay, yeah, open yeah, bef
- 1:27:37Speaker 4: on up and get up. Canny, get back in there.
- 1:27:40Speaker 29: Boy.
- 1:27:41Speaker 4: You said you said you wasn't taking it no more.
- 1:27:44Speaker 4: You look kind of like you still tak it. I mean,
- 1:27:47Speaker 4: let's get it resolved now, because dinner in about an hour.
- 1:27:51Speaker 4: You see what I'm saying, weed fing to be all
- 1:27:52Speaker 4: at the table with the yah ya. So get up
- 1:27:55Speaker 4: and sticky chein, back out and let's go with it.
- 1:27:59Speaker 4: And now things have been settled, the presidential election has
- 1:28:03Speaker 4: been won, and now the people call him about business
- 1:28:07Speaker 4: business because that's what I mean, That's what I mean.
- 1:28:10Speaker 4: They here's some music they say they want. And I'm
- 1:28:12Speaker 4: in the music I'm in the music business business. I'm
- 1:28:15Speaker 4: not just a music fan. I'm in the music business,
- 1:28:18Speaker 4: meaning that I earned with me.
- 1:28:21Speaker 10: It's definitely a different, a different approach this time around.
- 1:28:25Speaker 10: I think with Trump's first inauguration, Chrissette Michelle caught everything,
- 1:28:34Speaker 10: all all the smoke and everything from performing at that inauguration.
- 1:28:40Speaker 10: It doesn't seem to be the same kind of energy
- 1:28:45Speaker 10: this time around. And a video of Snoop has resurfaced
- 1:28:49Speaker 10: from twenty seventeen about performing at the inauguration where he
- 1:28:54Speaker 10: was he would call out anybody who actually did it,
- 1:28:57Speaker 10: and now he's done it.
- 1:28:58Speaker 4: Well see, And I think think that the only problem
- 1:29:01Speaker 4: I would have with any of this, I mean, because
- 1:29:04Speaker 4: we're doing business and profiteer. I'm sorry, you know, I'm
- 1:29:10Speaker 4: all for all the other stuff, but you know, if
- 1:29:14Speaker 4: it don't make dollars, it really don't make sense. And
- 1:29:17Speaker 4: the only problem I have with it is if you
- 1:29:19Speaker 4: but people changed their mind, that's the country we will.
- 1:29:21Speaker 4: And that was the big que you talking about twenty seventeen.
- 1:29:24Speaker 4: That's eight years ago. So eight years ago I might
- 1:29:26Speaker 4: have felt some kind of white people were still in
- 1:29:28Speaker 4: bodying p Diddy ah to everything. Yeah, and they were
- 1:29:35Speaker 4: going to know fast forward eight years. They only wanted
- 1:29:39Speaker 4: they know. I mean, they came in. Wasn't that that
- 1:29:45Speaker 4: you told me that night? You and did he doll?
- 1:29:47Speaker 4: So I don't know no dude named Puff sull. I
- 1:29:52Speaker 4: don't know nobody they sh I don't thought I had
- 1:30:01Speaker 4: called you and you said you and Puff. It's not
- 1:30:04Speaker 4: good baby baby. Nobody want exactly. So when people say that,
- 1:30:12Speaker 4: come at you, Greg, You're talking about eight years of growth.
- 1:30:16Speaker 4: You got to look at someone like a snoop in
- 1:30:18Speaker 4: his even his career from twenty seventeen and now now
- 1:30:21Speaker 4: I've been to the Olympics, I've done some things. I'm on.
- 1:30:26Speaker 4: I see the benefit of Americas NFL honors. I see
- 1:30:31Speaker 4: I see the benefit of being a part of a
- 1:30:33Speaker 4: system that I used to criticize. And the only reason
- 1:30:36Speaker 4: I eve said because you know, people have talked about
- 1:30:38Speaker 4: this and I'm like, but that is kind of that
- 1:30:41Speaker 4: used to be America where we can disagree, but it
- 1:30:44Speaker 4: didn't mean that we had to hate each other. No, No,
- 1:30:48Speaker 4: difference of opinion does not mean divide or hate. It
- 1:30:52Speaker 4: just means that we have different opinions right, as simple
- 1:30:57Speaker 4: as that. You might like burger and I don't. I
- 1:31:02Speaker 4: didn't know we was supposed to pull guns on it.
- 1:31:04Speaker 4: But that's how we do in society. Yeah, that's where
- 1:31:07Speaker 4: it's come now, that's where it comes now. And it's
- 1:31:09Speaker 4: good to see like a sense of okay, right or wrong.
- 1:31:13Speaker 4: We had the election, this is what the people decided,
- 1:31:19Speaker 4: So these are the rules we're gonna live under. Right,
- 1:31:22Speaker 4: let's get back to what we all do. And it's
- 1:31:26Speaker 4: also okay to like to.
- 1:31:29Speaker 10: Gain a new perspective over time, Like if you had
- 1:31:33Speaker 10: to say, have the same the same, you have to
- 1:31:37Speaker 10: think the same way even with new information eight years apart.
- 1:31:42Speaker 10: You know, I think he saw this as this was
- 1:31:44Speaker 10: a business opportunity. The other artists saw this as a
- 1:31:48Speaker 10: business opportunity. And at the same time, our perspective has
- 1:31:54Speaker 10: changed about Snoop over the past thirty years.
- 1:31:57Speaker 4: At one point, he's the scariest massage. If my homide
- 1:32:02Speaker 4: couldn't hand this guy was on trial for murder. Yeah,
- 1:32:07Speaker 4: and you don't stop carrying the torch of the olmit.
- 1:32:10Speaker 4: He used to be creep with me as I crawled
- 1:32:13Speaker 4: through the hood mayniac lunatic called him Snoop Eastwood kicking
- 1:32:18Speaker 4: dust as I bust police and you never hear me
- 1:32:22Speaker 4: how mount peas. Now he'd a ambassador of United wearing
- 1:32:28Speaker 4: the whole flag, the whole flag on his back at
- 1:32:31Speaker 4: the question and so with Martha at their question and
- 1:32:35Speaker 4: center with Martha. Now when he was doing doggy style,
- 1:32:38Speaker 4: he couldn't even say equestrian. Uh, kudos to our man
- 1:32:44Speaker 4: Bob you gurt, who passed away ninety years of age.
- 1:32:49Speaker 4: But Kenny admitted that he thought that Bob had died.
- 1:32:51Speaker 4: And I thought he was in the front row, a
- 1:32:54Speaker 4: long time announcer, most famously showing that talent in the
- 1:33:02Speaker 4: movie Major League Yes Back in the Day, which was
- 1:33:05Speaker 4: a classic movie, but passed. And I'm with you, Bick, Kenny,
- 1:33:10Speaker 4: I like weight, not as much as you were saying
- 1:33:13Speaker 4: you knew he was dead, but I kind of thought
- 1:33:16Speaker 4: he I'm sure, I'm sure long life when people have
- 1:33:22Speaker 4: forgotten that you haven't died, I'm saying, I'm sure. We
- 1:33:25Speaker 4: toasted his eavenly birthday on some point. He was still like, yeah,
- 1:33:31Speaker 4: he was a great guy, like Bob, you could passed.
- 1:33:34Speaker 4: And I was like, yeah, years ago, right now he was.
- 1:33:37Speaker 10: Still doing Brewers games last season. I had no idea,
- 1:33:40Speaker 10: no idea.
- 1:33:43Speaker 4: One NFL game we didn't get around to in that
- 1:33:46Speaker 4: first hour that came down to a dramatic conclusion. Yesterday
- 1:33:51Speaker 4: was the Baltimore Ravens heading to Buffalo. It was so
- 1:33:57Speaker 4: coldon Buffalo. The Ravens like day was cold. Yeah, and
- 1:34:02Speaker 4: Baltimore is a cold city, gets a lot of snow.
- 1:34:05Speaker 4: But that win of Buffalo different coming out of Canada
- 1:34:09Speaker 4: really seems to cut. I told you and what I'm
- 1:34:13Speaker 4: saying it ain't. It ain't coming out of Canada like
- 1:34:16Speaker 4: Canada a few hunted. It's Canada cross the street like
- 1:34:22Speaker 4: you open your door, and that's Canadian win from Buffalo. Yeah,
- 1:34:25Speaker 4: that's you know, people are on the border making sure
- 1:34:28Speaker 4: you don't sneak out of Canada. That's how close they are.
- 1:34:31Speaker 4: But Lamar Jackson and the Ravens, and I think finally
- 1:34:38Speaker 4: people are questioning Lamar Jackson. Listening to my friends watching
- 1:34:42Speaker 4: the game with people, it's time to even show approve
- 1:34:48Speaker 4: or all the dazzling plays. Nobody's willing to accept that anymore.
- 1:34:53Speaker 4: You're you're ineffective in the playoffs. Whatever. Now this game,
- 1:34:59Speaker 4: as I tell people, just like with Mark Andrews dropping
- 1:35:02Speaker 4: that ball. As I said earlier, a lot of that
- 1:35:06Speaker 4: to me, I just tried to put my mind in
- 1:35:09Speaker 4: his I think he just really didn't wasn't sure he
- 1:35:13Speaker 4: was an end zone. And it's not like he couldn't
- 1:35:16Speaker 4: have caught the ball and rolled an end zone. But
- 1:35:18Speaker 4: I think he was just trying to make sure without
- 1:35:20Speaker 4: a doubt, and that one little hesitation in his brain
- 1:35:24Speaker 4: took his concentration off of catching the We've seen this
- 1:35:27Speaker 4: man in his all Pro career capt some great passes
- 1:35:30Speaker 4: from Lamar Jackson, but the Ravens having to go down
- 1:35:34Speaker 4: score a touchdown and get to two point conversion. Buffalo
- 1:35:38Speaker 4: Josh Allen and this team up to the task of
- 1:35:43Speaker 4: handling Derrick Henry, who they really bottled up there for
- 1:35:47Speaker 4: the most part in this game. He had eighty four
- 1:35:50Speaker 4: yards rushing, but it was tough yardage. They did not
- 1:35:55Speaker 4: give that big long yeah where he gets. You know,
- 1:36:03Speaker 4: speaking of getaway runs, do you think that some of
- 1:36:05Speaker 4: these plays in the yards after the catch or the
- 1:36:09Speaker 4: yards on the run are attributed to the fact that
- 1:36:14Speaker 4: most people are trying to punch the ball out first
- 1:36:17Speaker 4: before they can get you on the ground. They're trying
- 1:36:19Speaker 4: to punch the ball out. You get an extra four
- 1:36:21Speaker 4: or five yards just wrestling for the ball, and then
- 1:36:24Speaker 4: they go to maybe we need to get them down
- 1:36:26Speaker 4: and four to five yards is being conservative in my estimation. Yes, Well,
- 1:36:31Speaker 4: when you when you one of the things you learn
- 1:36:33Speaker 4: about going to and now is actually kind of trickling
- 1:36:37Speaker 4: down from the pros to college because you see it
- 1:36:43Speaker 4: more in college now as well. Used to be just
- 1:36:46Speaker 4: more pro and the college player played it more safe
- 1:36:50Speaker 4: and would make the tackle. But now you're seeing that
- 1:36:52Speaker 4: same action trickle down to college where that defender at
- 1:37:00Speaker 4: the linebacker and safety positions they want the ball, and
- 1:37:08Speaker 4: coaches are okay and with them. Figure you know, if
- 1:37:12Speaker 4: they feel like they're in a good position to punch
- 1:37:14Speaker 4: that ball out or pull it out some kind of way,
- 1:37:17Speaker 4: even if it costs them another four or five yards,
- 1:37:20Speaker 4: go for it. They want them because the ball, and
- 1:37:22Speaker 4: that's always been a pro thing that you would teach.
- 1:37:26Speaker 4: You would if you're in a meeting or your practice,
- 1:37:28Speaker 4: you hear the running back coach. You're always talking to
- 1:37:30Speaker 4: the running backs, especially the young ones. They want the ball.
- 1:37:34Speaker 4: They're going to try to hold you. Greg is going
- 1:37:36Speaker 4: to hold you while you come over and try to
- 1:37:38Speaker 4: pull the ball out. Like it's almost a whole system
- 1:37:42Speaker 4: that they are putting on you that you're not going
- 1:37:44Speaker 4: to be used to. You used to the first dude
- 1:37:46Speaker 4: coming and trying to get you on the ground. Now
- 1:37:48Speaker 4: the first dude is coming to kind of hold you
- 1:37:51Speaker 4: up and let you come over just a little bit
- 1:37:56Speaker 4: and punch that ball out. And we're talking about a
- 1:37:59Speaker 4: real punch, you know. Yeah, yeah, they are really hard. Hard.
- 1:38:04Speaker 4: I've seen something. Yeah, and the ball is out, so yeah,
- 1:38:08Speaker 4: that definitely happens. And you see a lot of sometimes
- 1:38:12Speaker 4: the ball don't come out and you just absorbed that
- 1:38:15Speaker 4: impact in your side or your stomach or wherever it
- 1:38:19Speaker 4: is that they're trying to punch the ball away. But
- 1:38:20Speaker 4: it does allow for especially these big backs like a
- 1:38:24Speaker 4: or especially Derrick Henry, he has to get those long
- 1:38:28Speaker 4: runs because they are able to. They have the strength
- 1:38:31Speaker 4: and the balance to absorb the hit and pull away
- 1:38:34Speaker 4: from you and then and then smash you to the
- 1:38:36Speaker 4: ground by your face and we are I know, we'll
- 1:38:40Speaker 4: be back. That's a long run. That's a lot of
- 1:38:47Speaker 4: football right there. Who is nobody.
- 1:39:05Speaker 6: Don't go away or of the sports Josh Show with

- 1:41:32Speaker 4: And now back to the sports job Wayne Gandy.
- 1:41:45Speaker 3: Between a log on so you'll can sit a sport
- 1:42:00Speaker 3: ja sing even.
- 1:42:04Speaker 4: Welcome back to this fort Shock Show. I'm the sport
- 1:42:06Speaker 4: Shock wing kan t one. Thing we were talking about, TikTok,
- 1:42:09Speaker 4: it faded, then it came back. Another rule that went
- 1:42:13Speaker 4: into effect last week as well, kind of quietly under
- 1:42:17Speaker 4: the radar is a President Biden rule for Title nine.
- 1:42:25Speaker 4: It's specific specifying that basically, however teams they want all
- 1:42:34Speaker 4: payments to be the same. I don't know how this
- 1:42:38Speaker 4: is working, you know, with the NIL collective and the
- 1:42:42Speaker 4: football they and the basketball programs and schools maybe get
- 1:42:49Speaker 4: ninety thousand dollars apiece or something like that. The Title
- 1:42:54Speaker 4: nine is saying that that guideline has to permeate through
- 1:42:59Speaker 4: all sports. So basically, whatever you're gonna pay the football team,
- 1:43:06Speaker 4: so the golf team and to get eighty g'st know
- 1:43:09Speaker 4: to dame. That is what initially I think this rule.
- 1:43:12Speaker 4: Greg is looking it up, but I want to say
- 1:43:14Speaker 4: that's what they're trying to continue the same pattern. You
- 1:43:20Speaker 4: can't be having paying Vic Kenny more money. I have
- 1:43:27Speaker 4: that right.
- 1:43:27Speaker 10: Well, like if if the football team is getting paid,
- 1:43:31Speaker 10: then the other athletes.
- 1:43:34Speaker 4: Sports breaking Kenny goes back on the cornhole team. I'm
- 1:43:42Speaker 4: on the Southern miss cornhole team. I don't want y'all.
- 1:43:44Speaker 4: I didn't want to drop the bomb on y'all so suddenly,
- 1:43:48Speaker 4: but I will be going back to Southern Misster playing. Okay,
- 1:43:50Speaker 4: so it might not be the same amount, but it's
- 1:43:53Speaker 4: we get we can't get.
- 1:43:56Speaker 10: Him.
- 1:43:56Speaker 4: And I just kind of quietly saw that last week
- 1:43:59Speaker 4: and I'm like, man, they didn't say much about this rule,
- 1:44:02Speaker 4: So now are we about to see the same thing
- 1:44:04Speaker 4: that we saw with Title nine when it first came
- 1:44:06Speaker 4: about football team fin to be supporting all the rest
- 1:44:09Speaker 4: of the sports correct, which puts them back into same
- 1:44:15Speaker 4: same thing as for the longest, the football team has
- 1:44:19Speaker 4: always been able to pay their players. The issue is
- 1:44:24Speaker 4: they have to take all that money and support and
- 1:44:27Speaker 4: create flight arrangements and golf equipment for teams in sports
- 1:44:32Speaker 4: that don't make a print. But you got to have
- 1:44:35Speaker 4: those sports. Now, do we know to be no to
- 1:44:38Speaker 4: to be compliant, you got to It's a racket. It's
- 1:44:42Speaker 4: a racket.
- 1:44:43Speaker 33: You know.
- 1:44:43Speaker 4: Our good friend Sterling Steward, who used to come and
- 1:44:45Speaker 4: advise us here on the show and talk to us,
- 1:44:48Speaker 4: is the one who helped me understand that that's what
- 1:44:51Speaker 4: that meant. It meant that we have to have a
- 1:44:55Speaker 4: corn Hall team well to even to even qualify to
- 1:44:59Speaker 4: compete in this conference. We got to have female right,
- 1:45:04Speaker 4: but you have to have so many sports to qualify
- 1:45:07Speaker 4: to via division. This a division that, and those sports
- 1:45:10Speaker 4: have to be staffed and if you don't show up
- 1:45:12Speaker 4: for the tournament then we get penalties for that. So
- 1:45:16Speaker 4: not only do we have to have a female corps
- 1:45:18Speaker 4: whole team, it's got to be fully staffed. It's got
- 1:45:20Speaker 4: to be able to compete at whatever event that we
- 1:45:22Speaker 4: are having. So the invitational, y'all got to send somebody
- 1:45:27Speaker 4: so we will see how this shakes out. Comanchi, Big Kenny, Well,
- 1:45:31Speaker 4: do you think that how college will adjust to that
- 1:45:35Speaker 4: really quick? Remember when they were complaining and They came
- 1:45:38Speaker 4: up with the college football playoff system because they were
- 1:45:41Speaker 4: tired of seeing the big name schools like Ohio State
- 1:45:44Speaker 4: and Notre Dame always playing in the bowls and all
- 1:45:48Speaker 4: of that. And then they were talking about we're gonna
- 1:45:50Speaker 4: do the nil so we can prevent having these kids
- 1:45:54Speaker 4: who making the money can keep someone. And we right
- 1:45:57Speaker 4: back tonight Ohio State and Biden's got it where everybody
- 1:46:04Speaker 4: got a distribute to money. Did we just have a
- 1:46:07Speaker 4: fruitless exercise? Was this just we just out here wasting time?
- 1:46:12Speaker 10: This is a step in I think in moving in
- 1:46:15Speaker 10: the schools moving away from the NCAA out of their purview,
- 1:46:20Speaker 10: and I think this may encourage more schools to consider going.
- 1:46:25Speaker 4: Independent, like not the Dame. Like they made twenty million dollars.
- 1:46:29Speaker 10: In this playoff and they don't have to share it
- 1:46:31Speaker 10: with anybody in any conference. Ohio State has to share
- 1:46:35Speaker 10: that with everyone else. Uncle Charlie said, don't do it.
- 1:46:38Speaker 10: It'll be overturned. In a couple hours. They overturned with Trump.
- 1:46:44Speaker 4: You know what I'm saying, Trump, don't take the dolls
- 1:46:46Speaker 4: and your next thing, you know it to be back on.
- 1:46:49Speaker 4: Like now y'all have at a corn hoole. But it'd
- 1:46:54Speaker 4: be interesting and as I said, not just moving away
- 1:46:57Speaker 4: from the NCAA. Basically, you're just creating pro sports, another
- 1:47:04Speaker 4: level of professional sports under the idea of college. So
- 1:47:09Speaker 4: you really have to choose, are we paying college sports
- 1:47:13Speaker 4: or we're just professional sports. And that's why I said,
- 1:47:16Speaker 4: maybe the easiest way is just to have these teams
- 1:47:21Speaker 4: work and be independent from the halo of that we're
- 1:47:25Speaker 4: in school. Right, We're not in that school. We're not
- 1:47:28Speaker 4: student athletes. I just played for the Georgia Tech whatever. Right,
- 1:47:35Speaker 4: that's that's my connection. That means that they can deal.
- 1:47:40Speaker 4: I can sign a contract because you're to it today.
- 1:47:43Speaker 4: They can trade me. We can do the same thing
- 1:47:45Speaker 4: that other sports is doing. I can get you know,
- 1:47:48Speaker 4: and be done with it. Yeah, it's like anything else.
- 1:47:52Speaker 4: There are times when I will be in a location
- 1:47:55Speaker 4: for weeks at a time. I'm not a resident, but
- 1:48:00Speaker 4: you know, I can move around like that. You uh
- 1:48:04Speaker 4: lived in Los Angeles, but you're from Florida, so and
- 1:48:08Speaker 4: they allow all kinds of things associated with that. And
- 1:48:11Speaker 4: right now college sports is getting to a point where
- 1:48:15Speaker 4: I think some of the actual people going to school
- 1:48:18Speaker 4: are going to start suffering because of the trying to
- 1:48:22Speaker 4: pretend like the athletes still have to go Like what
- 1:48:25Speaker 4: was her name? The girl who says she just flat
- 1:48:28Speaker 4: out had stopped going to class because she was too
- 1:48:30Speaker 4: much of a distraction. Or Olivia Dunn that was the
- 1:48:35Speaker 4: one that she had to get bodyguards and stuff because
- 1:48:39Speaker 4: her going to class would just kind of stop the
- 1:48:41Speaker 4: class process. Command me as we go to break Robert
- 1:48:45Speaker 4: Salah maybe for the Cowboys, Kenny's old coach as an
- 1:48:49Speaker 4: observer court negor reference person. That's that's what his job is,
- 1:48:55Speaker 4: like an observer the court.
- 1:48:58Speaker 10: It'll be it'll be something like that.
- 1:49:00Speaker 4: Uh would you would you go for Robert Saler as
- 1:49:03Speaker 4: your head coach?
- 1:49:05Speaker 9: Uh?
- 1:49:06Speaker 10: I let him coach the defense, Okay, an associate head
- 1:49:10Speaker 10: coach of the defense.
- 1:49:11Speaker 4: Associated We'll be back more a sports talk shown there

- 1:51:24Speaker 26: Now it's time for a school board when we put
- 1:51:28Speaker 26: a spin on light and sports and how they intermingle
- 1:51:32Speaker 26: on the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:52:00Speaker 4: The Pimps and the grib Welcome back to the Sports
- 1:52:02Speaker 4: Shock Show. I'm the Sports Shock Wayne kN D. I
- 1:52:06Speaker 4: mentioned earlier in the show a couple of old school rappers,
- 1:52:11Speaker 4: Method Man allegedly beat up his ex daughters his daughter's
- 1:52:19Speaker 4: ex boyfriend. A couple of days. I saw that, and
- 1:52:23Speaker 4: Buster Rhymes punched one of his employees. Yes, I didn't
- 1:52:29Speaker 4: see that one. Yeah, yeah, I saw that one. Yeah
- 1:52:33Speaker 4: I was. I was watching that hashtag fit over fifty
- 1:52:37Speaker 4: and I was thinking steroid youse. I mean, I don't know,
- 1:52:45Speaker 4: I don't know if it's steroid youth. When haven't they
- 1:52:48Speaker 4: both been talking about how they changed their body shape. Yeah,
- 1:52:52Speaker 4: both of them did do some transformations. Well, method Man
- 1:52:56Speaker 4: has always been in great shape. Uh bust. The Rhymes
- 1:52:59Speaker 4: went from I'm a quite portly individual to a very
- 1:53:04Speaker 4: much smaller individual after he had bulked up, and now
- 1:53:08Speaker 4: he's kind of you know, fashion model.
- 1:53:11Speaker 10: Thin.
- 1:53:12Speaker 4: I think Buster turned himself in. I don't know what
- 1:53:14Speaker 4: method did, but he did turn hisself in. Uh. But
- 1:53:18Speaker 4: there was some some fighting in the hip hop industry. Hey,
- 1:53:22Speaker 4: Meth told you I came to bring the pain. Now
- 1:53:24Speaker 4: why did Meth get in a fight with his ex
- 1:53:28Speaker 4: son in law?
- 1:53:28Speaker 10: Basically I don't I don't know why he got has
- 1:53:31Speaker 10: not been specified.
- 1:53:32Speaker 4: It has not and he's he's denied that that happened.
- 1:53:38Speaker 4: So he denied it as well. Okay, so he got
- 1:53:42Speaker 4: me on tape or something excited. That's all I'm saying.
- 1:53:45Speaker 4: Do you have tape? Sir? It's just your your injuries
- 1:53:50Speaker 4: and accusations. That's all you got right now. Okay, all right,
- 1:53:55Speaker 4: I just thought I would bring.
- 1:53:56Speaker 32: That to.
- 1:53:57Speaker 4: That's all you got right now, sir. Injuries accusations. But
- 1:54:02Speaker 4: neither one of them have been in one of those
- 1:54:03Speaker 4: celebrity boxing matches, have it? Because when I saw I
- 1:54:06Speaker 4: think so? No, okay, they just they just for the culture,
- 1:54:10Speaker 4: you see what keeping it real for the culture?
- 1:54:15Speaker 9: Uh?
- 1:54:15Speaker 4: And Buster is about fifty five and Method maybe about
- 1:54:20Speaker 4: what fifty two fifty three right in.
- 1:54:23Speaker 10: There up and now, Yeah, yeah, he's Method man is
- 1:54:29Speaker 10: fifty three E T H O T. Hands Buster Rhymes
- 1:54:34Speaker 10: is fifty two fifty two. Okay, so right there the
- 1:54:37Speaker 10: same in the early fifties right there with me. Okay,
- 1:54:41Speaker 10: throwing hand. Keep yourself in fighting trim. You got to
- 1:54:45Speaker 10: keep at least one in you sports jock.
- 1:54:47Speaker 35: You see, I'll be telling y'all all the time, especially
- 1:54:50Speaker 35: if you got daughters, you got to keep that one
- 1:54:53Speaker 35: tucked away for that for the little joker that you
- 1:54:56Speaker 35: might have to catch him at the gym.
- 1:54:58Speaker 4: You see what I'm saying. You might have to actually
- 1:55:01Speaker 4: get yourself a membership to catch up with this dude. Gotcha,
- 1:55:06Speaker 4: and Method kind of have known his guy though I
- 1:55:09Speaker 4: guess he's dating his daughter, right. You know, I would
- 1:55:14Speaker 4: hope the man had to cross some line because I
- 1:55:16Speaker 4: would hate to think that Method was just on some man.
- 1:55:19Speaker 4: You should have never broke up with my daughter and
- 1:55:21Speaker 4: then jumped on him. Maybe it was you know, back
- 1:55:26Speaker 4: to that Ravens game where where is Lamar Jackson? Now, guys,
- 1:55:31Speaker 4: now were seven eight years into the league, we got
- 1:55:34Speaker 4: three or four MVPs. But we can't seem to make
- 1:55:40Speaker 4: the Super Bowl. We can't seem to get over In
- 1:55:43Speaker 4: a couple of comments, I asked, because you know, some
- 1:55:46Speaker 4: guys I know are Lamar Jackson fanatics, was kind of
- 1:55:51Speaker 4: seeing what I've been saying. And this is not because
- 1:55:55Speaker 4: you talk about these things and you think you're placing
- 1:55:58Speaker 4: these the loss just on him, so and it's it's
- 1:56:02Speaker 4: but you start seeing like guys, was like, hey, he
- 1:56:05Speaker 4: needs to take that diamond looking mouthpiece out of his mouth.
- 1:56:11Speaker 4: They don't like how you sit on the sideline like
- 1:56:13Speaker 4: he seemed to be. He never really is like chatting
- 1:56:17Speaker 4: it up with the rest of the offense, right it,
- 1:56:22Speaker 4: you know, And I think it's really just a sense that,
- 1:56:28Speaker 4: you know, listening, the leadership component from our visuals seems
- 1:56:35Speaker 4: to be missing. Would you say that he doesn't seem
- 1:56:38Speaker 4: to be the guy that is, he seems to be
- 1:56:42Speaker 4: the talent, but he doesn't seem to be the leader
- 1:56:46Speaker 4: from the outside optics.
- 1:56:50Speaker 10: Yeah, it depends on what your definition of a leader is.
- 1:56:58Speaker 10: And I you know, I think they're different kinds. But
- 1:57:03Speaker 10: as far as well, you're supposed to be doing something
- 1:57:06Speaker 10: in particular, and I'm glad you.
- 1:57:07Speaker 4: I'm glad you're a lead, and I'm glad you said
- 1:57:10Speaker 4: that because to me, leaders start from appearance, because that's
- 1:57:18Speaker 4: the first something somebody sees. It's like the difference between
- 1:57:24Speaker 4: your doctor walking in the office with a pair of
- 1:57:28Speaker 4: slacks and a button down shirt and a jacket and
- 1:57:32Speaker 4: him walking in there with his pants sagging with a
- 1:57:36Speaker 4: headband on. So found they say you kind of under
- 1:57:41Speaker 4: the weather. So it starts from the beginning. Now I
- 1:57:47Speaker 4: can talk to you, and you can learn in Google
- 1:57:49Speaker 4: and do all the research and find out that the
- 1:57:52Speaker 4: what up Fam doctor is the best in the world.
- 1:57:55Speaker 4: But when you first saw him, you thought he was
- 1:57:58Speaker 4: in the wrong room. So people love to say that, well,
- 1:58:02Speaker 4: what kind of leader? But your leadership a lot of times,
- 1:58:06Speaker 4: just like we asked our president to always show up
- 1:58:09Speaker 4: in the same custom, unrecognizable suit. It's standard. It's a standard,
- 1:58:17Speaker 4: solid color, it's a solid typically white shirt. It has
- 1:58:23Speaker 4: no kind of it has no entertainment value at all.
- 1:58:27Speaker 4: Is that right at all? But them dudes on NFL
- 1:58:31Speaker 4: Live Suit Stay were very entertaining. So I'm just saying
- 1:58:38Speaker 4: that's why. And I'm from a locker room, and that's
- 1:58:40Speaker 4: why I'm saying to you, I know that appearance just
- 1:58:45Speaker 4: it is part of the story. But it is part
- 1:58:48Speaker 4: of the story that Lamar twiddling with his hair doing interviews.
- 1:58:55Speaker 4: He's sitting up there and he's talking to the public.
- 1:58:58Speaker 4: You know, that little masting on. You know, it's like,
- 1:59:02Speaker 4: but you're the leader of this is because it's nothing
- 1:59:07Speaker 4: else he can really bring to the field. Kay, And
- 1:59:12Speaker 4: I think the loss last night kind of highlighted that
- 1:59:17Speaker 4: when how much pressure is on the quarterback. He wasn't
- 1:59:21Speaker 4: the one that dropped the ball, and even the guy
- 1:59:24Speaker 4: that dropped the ball deserves some grace because of the
- 1:59:27Speaker 4: amount of person that was available. But everyone's questioning Lamar's
- 1:59:33Speaker 4: place in the NFL and his greatness as a result
- 1:59:37Speaker 4: of that player dropping a ball. And it was But
- 1:59:40Speaker 4: I think that might be one of the easiest examples
- 1:59:43Speaker 4: of how that was in his fault because in other
- 1:59:46Speaker 4: areas we always we always looking go eh Lamar might
- 1:59:50Speaker 4: have yesterday, I thought that that first two point conversion
- 1:59:54Speaker 4: should have been made on Lamar's legs. You running all
- 1:59:57Speaker 4: the time anyway, you're always doing some spectac with your legs.
- 2:00:01Speaker 4: Let's get to two points. So some of those things
- 2:00:05Speaker 4: I find questionable, but some of this may yet to
- 2:00:10Speaker 4: be seen. It just seems maybe that last step is
- 2:00:13Speaker 4: not just about you what you can, what you actually
- 2:00:19Speaker 4: inspire others to be cam And sometimes that is the
- 2:00:22Speaker 4: greatest part that you can bring it to a team,
- 2:00:24Speaker 4: the inspiration of others to play better, or be better,
- 2:00:28Speaker 4: or take it more serious.
- 2:00:29Speaker 10: And we are a notion.
- 2:00:34Speaker 2: The truth is he will throw your to the ocean.
- 2:00:38Speaker 10: It's time to rap things up.
- 2:00:40Speaker 2: On the Sports Jut Show with Wayne Candy.
- 2:01:06Speaker 4: Were the tuns of Ocean gives a sports shop testament.
- 2:01:09Speaker 1: It to Vin.
- 2:01:09Speaker 4: We'd like to thank you for tuning in to today's show.
- 2:01:13Speaker 4: Remember happy Martin Luther King Junior Day. The national title
- 2:01:20Speaker 4: for college finally has arrived. It will be tonight at
- 2:01:24Speaker 4: seven thirty and we will have a new president installed
- 2:01:31Speaker 4: today as well as three or four NBA games and
- 2:01:38Speaker 4: celebrating of King. Speaking of NBA, that leads me to
- 2:01:42Speaker 4: my ocean. The young superstar Victor Wimbin Yama, a couple
- 2:01:51Speaker 4: of weeks ago gave a young Spurs fan at a
- 2:01:56Speaker 4: Brooklyn Nets game his jersey swap jerseys with the young man.
- 2:02:02Speaker 4: Young man had a little baby. Wimben Yamba jersey, and
- 2:02:06Speaker 4: Victor saw him and took off his jersey and gave
- 2:02:10Speaker 4: it to him, and they swapped jersey his dirty, low
- 2:02:16Speaker 4: down parents. In less than three weeks have already put
- 2:02:20Speaker 4: the jersey on the auction block. Little man jersey already up.
- 2:02:26Speaker 4: And even Winby is upset that less than three weeks
- 2:02:31Speaker 4: you have decided to put it up on the auction
- 2:02:34Speaker 4: block to make money. All of a sudden, he felt
- 2:02:37Speaker 4: like he was gifting to a young three, four or
- 2:02:41Speaker 4: five year old kid. First of all, I think this
- 2:02:44Speaker 4: kid should just go get a lawyer because it's his jersey. Kobe,
- 2:02:48Speaker 4: I mean, it's my jersey. I don't know why y'all
- 2:02:53Speaker 4: in here done so selling him because you're getting your
- 2:02:57Speaker 4: little quick tenth grand to date in twenty years when
- 2:03:04Speaker 4: women go into the hall, this might be worth a
- 2:03:07Speaker 4: million dollars, but it's mine. But just to think about
- 2:03:13Speaker 4: players now like a wom be having to be worried,
- 2:03:16Speaker 4: not even in a year. Just basically, as soon as
- 2:03:20Speaker 4: I give you something, you go auction it off. Trust me,
- 2:03:25Speaker 4: you do that enough, players will stop giving you stuff.
- 2:03:29Speaker 4: It trickles down. Why would I just give you stuff
- 2:03:32Speaker 4: because they're giving it thinking that you really are a fans,
- 2:03:35Speaker 4: and fans usually at least hold on a month command it.
- 2:03:41Speaker 4: He ain't give me a month in the house, I
- 2:03:45Speaker 4: tell you, but throw them Mama and daddy. Who in
- 2:03:48Speaker 4: the ocean? Man, No man, get you a lawyer and
- 2:03:52Speaker 4: some new parents. Get your lawyer, y'all. Get y'all see
- 2:03:56Speaker 4: little man man right there. Man, No man ain't even longer.
- 2:04:02Speaker 1: Than the churchy.
- 2:04:03Speaker 4: Yeah, go deal with your uncle brouh Yeah, the sports shock.
- 2:04:07Speaker 4: Shall We hope you have a good afternoon. We'll see
- 2:04:09Speaker 4: you late in the week, Big Kenny, come on you Greg.
- 2:04:12Speaker 4: Thank you for your contributions.
- 2:04:14Speaker 9: Uh.
