- 0:02Speaker 1: Here we go.
- 0:03Speaker 2: It's been a while, Cratzy, it's been like Jesus's the
- 0:06Speaker 2: day today twenty for spend like a week since I've
- 0:08Speaker 2: been on You definitely don't look like you're in your basement.
- 0:11Speaker 2: You might be in your other basement, So tell me
- 0:13Speaker 2: where you're at and welcome to foul territory.
- 0:15Speaker 3: I mean, Ohcnjay, I got Ocean City, New Jersey, walk
- 0:18Speaker 3: on the boardwalk in a little time with the family.
- 0:21Speaker 3: But I feel like I feel like you, Aj. I'm
- 0:23Speaker 3: traveling like crazy right now. So I was about Staten
- 0:26Speaker 3: Island this past weekend. Oh C Milwaukee later my best
- 0:32Speaker 3: AJ Brasidski impression.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Well, the difference is you get to drive everywhere.
- 0:36Speaker 2: I get to fly, like when I have a three
- 0:38Speaker 2: point thirty am pick up this morning and carry North
- 0:40Speaker 2: Carolina to get to the airport to get here to
- 0:43Speaker 2: to host because it's players only this entire week. Yesterday,
- 0:46Speaker 2: I know, Tricia, so thank you Aatricia for hosting yesterday.
- 0:49Speaker 2: But this week is going to be me. So I
- 0:51Speaker 2: hope if you guys are sick of me, then too bad.
- 0:53Speaker 2: You're gonna have to suck it up.
- 0:55Speaker 1: Butter Cup. But I Meankratzi. I was in Carry, North Carolina.
- 0:58Speaker 2: I spent the last week with USA base all helping
- 1:01Speaker 2: them to pick the under eighteen the USA Under eighteen
- 1:03Speaker 2: team which is going to travel the Dominican Republican a
- 1:06Speaker 2: couple months. Brian Schneider is the manager. I'm sure you
- 1:09Speaker 2: know him. Luke Gregorson is the pitching coach, Tim Raines
- 1:12Speaker 2: Junior as a coach, and then Doug man Kavich is
- 1:14Speaker 2: another coach.
- 1:15Speaker 1: And there's about.
- 1:17Speaker 2: One, two, three, four, there's twelve of us at help pick.
- 1:20Speaker 2: They split them in these kids into four teams. It
- 1:22Speaker 2: was me, Chris Johnson macarare on the great Team four
- 1:26Speaker 2: and oh you know, shout out great team, Love you guys.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Then it was Ryan Zimmerman, Ian Desmond Joe Smith who
- 1:34Speaker 2: was the other one. It was Rick Ankiel and Will Harris,
- 1:39Speaker 2: and then r J. I don't know his last name.
- 1:40Speaker 2: He's a coach at Orange Lutheran in California. And then
- 1:43Speaker 2: the Light Blue was Brad Wilkerson, Jamie Carroll and Sam Freeman.
- 1:48Speaker 2: So it was an awesome week. Let me let me,
- 1:50Speaker 2: let me explain, like you give this and I went
- 1:53Speaker 2: in blind. The only person I had ever heard of
- 1:55Speaker 2: was Dylan Sewart, who when we had JJ Cooper from
- 1:58Speaker 2: hot cheet On, he said it was going to be
- 1:59Speaker 2: one one, so I had him on my team and
- 2:02Speaker 2: he was the only one I had ever heard of,
- 2:04Speaker 2: or seen or knew anything about. Christ you realized how
- 2:07Speaker 2: talented these kids are. I mean, every kid was ninety
- 2:09Speaker 2: five to ninety eight off the mound.
- 2:12Speaker 1: It's unbelievable.
- 2:13Speaker 3: It's unbelievved. I've done the Combine, I've done the All
- 2:15Speaker 3: American Game with you. I'm trying to think if I
- 2:18Speaker 3: did another USA type of sanctioned baseball. I'm just flabbergasts.
- 2:24Speaker 3: And you live in Florida, so you see really good
- 2:26Speaker 3: high school baseball. I'm flabbergasted at the talent. I'm flabbergasted.
- 2:31Speaker 3: That's the fact that there's been kids this good even
- 2:35Speaker 3: when I was playing in high school. And thank god
- 2:38Speaker 3: I didn't know it because the fact that like I
- 2:41Speaker 3: would have sat there and watched these guys in high
- 2:43Speaker 3: school and gone, I can make the big leagues because
- 2:46Speaker 3: they are so good. It's incredible watching them at WWBAS
- 2:50Speaker 3: because my son's that age right now, and like, these
- 2:53Speaker 3: these kids are so good, and they're so good early.
- 2:57Speaker 3: I just I don't understand it, but it's fun to watch.
- 3:00Speaker 2: It's amazing I think. I mean, listen, Dylan Sier was
- 3:03Speaker 2: going to go in the first round. I probably had
- 3:08Speaker 2: two or three other kids that have an opportunity to
- 3:10Speaker 2: be a first rounder, maybe more. I mean, we had
- 3:13Speaker 2: this left handed pitcher I'm not going to use his name,
- 3:15Speaker 2: but he thought he was a two way guy and
- 3:18Speaker 2: then he takes them ount he says he could hit.
- 3:20Speaker 2: And then he goes out there in ninety seven ninety
- 3:22Speaker 2: eight from the left side with a hammer, and I'm like,
- 3:24Speaker 2: you're a po CJ.
- 3:25Speaker 1: Chris Johnson.
- 3:26Speaker 2: I both look at him and go, you're a pitcher, dude,
- 3:29Speaker 2: Like just take your tell your parents to take your back.
- 3:31Speaker 2: But then of course he gets in a bat in
- 3:33Speaker 2: a game and he's facing a kit throwing ninety eight
- 3:34Speaker 2: and he waffle stomps won the left center for walk
- 3:37Speaker 2: off double.
- 3:38Speaker 1: So it's like, wait a minute, you couldn't you couldn't
- 3:40Speaker 1: hit yesterday, Now you do this.
- 3:41Speaker 2: So it's amazing how good these kids are, I mean,
- 3:44Speaker 2: how what they were able to do, how they're able
- 3:45Speaker 2: to perform. But shout out USA Baseball Brian Schneiner, thank
- 3:48Speaker 2: you for inviting me. Hopefully we can get JJ Cooper
- 3:51Speaker 2: on who I was there with, and.
- 3:53Speaker 1: We can talk a little bit about these kids.
- 3:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean just watching the high school talent, it
- 3:59Speaker 3: is so oppressive and as much as people are like
- 4:02Speaker 3: all they care about is hitting homers and striking kids out.
- 4:07Speaker 3: The talent, in my opinion, and I never saw great,
- 4:11Speaker 3: incredible talent when I was in high school is way
- 4:14Speaker 3: better than when you and I were in high school.
- 4:16Speaker 3: But you could speak differently. Again, you're in Florida, Texas, California,
- 4:21Speaker 3: where the best kids play. But I just I just
- 4:25Speaker 3: don't think it compares. I think the talent has gotten
- 4:27Speaker 3: better earlier, and this is why guys are making the
- 4:30Speaker 3: big leagues earlier too.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Also, by the way, Chris, we did your favorite thing,
- 4:34Speaker 2: so on our bus. Every team got their own bus.
- 4:37Speaker 2: So we had a red, a navy, a light blue,
- 4:39Speaker 2: and we were gray obviously before and no shout out.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Great team again. You know we're the champions. You know.
- 4:44Speaker 2: One night, one day I incentivized my team a little
- 4:48Speaker 2: bit more than the other coaches. Iribeds. No, no, I said,
- 4:54Speaker 2: if you guys strike out less than a certain amount,
- 4:56Speaker 2: of times, I'll buy you guys ice cream, and you
- 4:59Speaker 2: would have thought they we're going for a Game.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Seven in the World Series.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Then the next day I said, if you strike out
- 5:03Speaker 2: in a certain amount of times, I'll get your pizza
- 5:06Speaker 2: and ice cream to watch the World Cup final, and
- 5:09Speaker 2: you would have thought again, it was Game seven of
- 5:11Speaker 2: the World Series.
- 5:11Speaker 1: It's amazing.
- 5:12Speaker 2: But what I want to tell you is on the
- 5:15Speaker 2: bus rides, guess what we made all the kids do.
- 5:19Speaker 3: Come to front of the bus and the mic you.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Know it, And it was awesome. It was so awesome.
- 5:25Speaker 2: These kids were up there and I was sitting in
- 5:27Speaker 2: the manager seat, which is usually front.
- 5:29Speaker 3: Right.
- 5:29Speaker 2: Macarrea pitching coach, was sitting so he had the mic,
- 5:32Speaker 2: and then Chris Johnson was behind me. Jeff Reblay, another
- 5:35Speaker 2: coach of ours, who was awesome, and our trainer, and
- 5:37Speaker 2: the kids we called him up one at a time.
- 5:39Speaker 2: They were shaking and so nervous to talk on the mic,
- 5:42Speaker 2: and then we made some of them had to sing,
- 5:44Speaker 2: some of them didn't. It was awesome and they loved it.
- 5:47Speaker 2: And I promise you this. They might remember the baseball
- 5:50Speaker 2: they'll remember this, but I promise you they will remember
- 5:52Speaker 2: coming to the front of the bus and now we
- 5:53Speaker 2: could sing more than they'll remember the baseball.
- 5:56Speaker 3: And when they get caught up to the big leagues,
- 5:58Speaker 3: they'll have had a little bit of it experience exactly.
- 6:01Speaker 1: So anyways, ice cream.
- 6:03Speaker 2: Who knew that eighteen year old kids ice cream was
- 6:05Speaker 2: such a big motiv Do you put?
- 6:07Speaker 3: Do you put? I'm sure they're all like they all
- 6:10Speaker 3: eat like Scott now, but do you put Jimmy's or
- 6:13Speaker 3: do you put sprinkles on your ice cream? If you
- 6:15Speaker 3: get a soft serve ice cream cut.
- 6:17Speaker 2: It depends on what part of the country in But
- 6:20Speaker 2: I ordered it from because we tried to get the
- 6:23Speaker 2: bus drivers stop at the ice cream shop and the
- 6:25Speaker 2: way home and he's like, only can go to the hotel.
- 6:27Speaker 1: So I had to door.
- 6:28Speaker 2: I had to uber eat it to the hotel, so
- 6:30Speaker 2: I and then I was like, all right, what do
- 6:31Speaker 2: you guys want? It was cookies and cream vanilla and
- 6:33Speaker 2: cookie dough. So I had to get a bunch of
- 6:35Speaker 2: ice cream. And then they're like, we do you want
- 6:36Speaker 2: to want toppings? And they said, yeah, chocolate syrup. Uh,
- 6:39Speaker 2: they all said sprinkles. Non of them said Jimmy's and
- 6:41Speaker 2: whip cream.
- 6:42Speaker 1: Or the hits.
- 6:42Speaker 2: So in ice cream Party, it was awesome, it was fun,
- 6:45Speaker 2: but it's a motivating factor.
- 6:48Speaker 4: If you're watching us, you already know we're wearing mac
- 6:50Speaker 4: Weldon right now as we talk about a great brand
- 6:53Speaker 4: that makes things so comfortable and easy to wear. But
- 6:56Speaker 4: if you're listening to the show, let me tell you
- 6:58Speaker 4: a little bit more about Macweld and with my friend
- 7:01Speaker 4: Aer Kratz.
- 7:02Speaker 3: Yeah, it's comfortable, it's light, it's summertime right now. For
- 7:06Speaker 3: me though, they cater to what I need tall clothes. Normally,
- 7:11Speaker 3: when I buy tall clothes it's like something that's cumbersome
- 7:15Speaker 3: and boxy. It still fits incredibly well, super light, perfect
- 7:20Speaker 3: for the summertime. They got me all covered.
- 7:23Speaker 4: Comfortable performance material can be yours. Mack Weldon is the spot.
- 7:30Speaker 4: Don't sweat the heat this summer. Feel as effortlessly cool
- 7:33Speaker 4: as you look. With mack Weldon. Go to Mackweldon dot
- 7:36Speaker 4: com and get twenty percent off your first order of
- 7:38Speaker 4: one hundred and twenty five bucks or more with promo
- 7:39Speaker 4: code foul. That's m A c kW E L d
- 7:42Speaker 4: o N dot com code f o U L.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Talk about all right, here we go? What did I
- 7:53Speaker 1: miss What did I miss this weekend?
- 7:54Speaker 2: I mean, right now, it's Orioles in the Red Sox,
- 7:57Speaker 2: the two hottest teams coming in Crotzy and the Red
- 7:59Speaker 2: Sox ca not lose. I don't know what voodoo they pulled.
- 8:02Speaker 2: I don't know if they sacrificed the live chicken. I
- 8:04Speaker 2: don't know what they did. But here we go Caleb
- 8:07Speaker 2: Durban with the home run in the bottom of the eighth,
- 8:09Speaker 2: and they have won fourteen straight games and they are
- 8:12Speaker 2: in the Wildcard and they are over five hundred, which
- 8:15Speaker 2: sounds impossible two weeks ago, three weeks ago, but here
- 8:20Speaker 2: they are the Red Sox and they broke the what
- 8:22Speaker 2: the Orioles I think had seven game winning streak until
- 8:24Speaker 2: this game. So how hot are the Red Sox? And
- 8:29Speaker 2: we did we bury them too early? Because did you
- 8:31Speaker 2: see a fourteen game winning streak coming out of this team?
- 8:34Speaker 3: I think they were fourteen games under five hundred, and
- 8:37Speaker 3: then they pull off a fourteen game winning street and
- 8:39Speaker 3: there's nineteen and two since they were fourteen and under.
- 8:43Speaker 3: All the stats really don't matter to me. Baseball has
- 8:46Speaker 3: a way of cooling you off. And I think because
- 8:50Speaker 3: we always see the a's like oh, twenty game winning streak,
- 8:53Speaker 3: that's incredible. Fourteen kind of gets dumbed down a little bit.
- 8:56Speaker 3: They haven't lost since July. First, we're well through July
- 9:02Speaker 3: right now. Baseball tried to cool them off with the
- 9:05Speaker 3: All Star break. You got those days off, they said,
- 9:08Speaker 3: not gonna happen. Baseball tried to cool them off by
- 9:11Speaker 3: needing to play the Rays. Nope, we're good. Then they
- 9:15Speaker 3: brought in the Orioles, who were the second hottest team
- 9:18Speaker 3: besides the great team from Carrie, North Carolina at the
- 9:21Speaker 3: USA Trials. But they beat them too. Like this is,
- 9:27Speaker 3: they've been tested at every step and they're doing it
- 9:30Speaker 3: in different ways. And I've been the first one to say, no,
- 9:33Speaker 3: I don't think this team's good enough, and they have
- 9:36Speaker 3: constantly slapped me in the face and said you are incorrect.
- 9:39Speaker 3: They're in third place. They're in third place right now
- 9:44Speaker 3: in the American League East. They were in last before.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Yeah, so one fourteen game winning streagle do By the way,
- 9:51Speaker 2: Ranger Suarez went on the IL in between starts, and
- 9:55Speaker 2: the Red Sox have not lost since he went on
- 9:57Speaker 2: the IL.
- 9:57Speaker 1: But now apparently he's not starting again today. I don't
- 9:59Speaker 1: know why.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Eduardo Rovera will now start, which is breaking kind of
- 10:03Speaker 2: breaking news. But he was scheduled to start tonight. He's
- 10:05Speaker 2: not starting to night. So maybe the Red Sox are
- 10:07Speaker 2: just waiting for Ranger to come back you're gonna win
- 10:09Speaker 2: every game, or they're waiting for Wilson and Chrez to
- 10:11Speaker 2: start a fight every night because since he started all
- 10:13Speaker 2: those fights, they haven't lost. So maybe that was the key.
- 10:15Speaker 2: They needed a little kissing vinegar in their step.
- 10:19Speaker 1: Crotchy.
- 10:20Speaker 3: I mean watching them obviously, when you're winning, everybody's happy,
- 10:23Speaker 3: but watching everybody celebrate it wasn't It wasn't a walk
- 10:28Speaker 3: off when Durbin hit the Homer last night. You just
- 10:31Speaker 3: see a different euphoria where you have like Wilson Contreres
- 10:35Speaker 3: coming out and like other guys like like holding each other.
- 10:40Speaker 3: It's just different. It doesn't look scripted. It looks like
- 10:44Speaker 3: these guys are just like, how on earth is this possible?
- 10:47Speaker 3: What are we doing? Because you just didn't think this
- 10:51Speaker 3: is what was gonna happen. And Ranger not starting now,
- 10:53Speaker 3: I gotta I gotta text Claude a different lock because
- 10:56Speaker 3: that locks out now if Rangers not pitching.
- 11:00Speaker 1: Ah, well, I haven't I gotta send my luck in.
- 11:02Speaker 1: I'm a producer. Lad is knifing me in the in
- 11:04Speaker 1: the chat because I had I know we got a
- 11:06Speaker 1: quick break coming up. I'll figured it out, don't you worry. Uh.
- 11:09Speaker 2: Also, by the way, Adley Richman went on the I
- 11:13Speaker 2: L again and we talked to Ken Rosenthal here coming up.
- 11:16Speaker 2: He's in one of the trade candidates possibilities, one of
- 11:19Speaker 2: the catchers that we're gonna dig into with Ken. But
- 11:21Speaker 2: Adley on the I L again, he just keeps getting
- 11:23Speaker 2: hurt with wrist inflammation.
- 11:25Speaker 1: I think it is this time.
- 11:26Speaker 2: You know, they had a bunch of the Orioles had
- 11:28Speaker 2: a bunch of errors last night. I think the Red
- 11:30Speaker 2: Sox are just as shocked as everyone else that they
- 11:32Speaker 2: had a fourteen game winning street.
- 11:34Speaker 1: But everything keeps falling into place.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Teams make errors, they they capitalize on it, guys who
- 11:38Speaker 2: weren't hitting or hitting. Their pitching has always been good.
- 11:41Speaker 2: It has been fun if you're a Red Sox fan
- 11:43Speaker 2: to watch us. This is one of those we I
- 11:50Speaker 2: don't really get Kratzy. We're gonna go on savif Yankees
- 11:52Speaker 2: in the Pirates. Jose Cavierra does things okay, he does things.
- 11:58Speaker 1: He does things.
- 11:58Speaker 2: Include we're really on the eye black right, like it
- 12:01Speaker 2: looks two lines, two lines, but then it goes down.
- 12:05Speaker 1: Hey whatever again that was with kids. There were some
- 12:07Speaker 1: kids wearing the two lines.
- 12:08Speaker 3: It is.
- 12:08Speaker 1: It is whatever you wanted to be. Hey, dude, you
- 12:12Speaker 1: be you okay?
- 12:13Speaker 2: But he hit into a double play, and then Dennis Santana,
- 12:17Speaker 2: who has like a seven era on the season, should
- 12:20Speaker 2: be celebrating the fact he didn't give up a bunch
- 12:22Speaker 2: of runs in this inning, was mad because he did
- 12:25Speaker 2: his thing with the pitch clock again here he's like, look, look, look,
- 12:28Speaker 2: look at me, Look at you, look at me. And
- 12:30Speaker 2: then of course they fake fight as soon as the
- 12:34Speaker 2: catcher grabbed him. Then Santana got really really excited and
- 12:38Speaker 2: wanted to yell on screen. But Cabairo saying, what did
- 12:41Speaker 2: I do? What did I do? He's legal. I don't
- 12:43Speaker 2: understand why pitchers are letting this bother them to a
- 12:47Speaker 2: point where they want to fight Jose Caballero again, Santana,
- 12:51Speaker 2: you've been terrible this year.
- 12:53Speaker 1: I'm sorry. The numbers say you've been terrible. You should
- 12:55Speaker 1: be celebrating. You got a fast guy to hit into
- 12:57Speaker 1: a double play. You should have been pumping yourself up
- 13:00Speaker 1: instead of yelling at the other. Dugout.
- 13:02Speaker 2: I don't understand it. Everything this guy is doing is legal.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Everything this guy is doing is exactly what I would
- 13:07Speaker 2: be doing. I would manipulate the pitch clock. Pitchers have
- 13:10Speaker 2: been able to the veteran guys like Sures Earn. Some
- 13:12Speaker 2: of these guys have manipulated with guys on base. So
- 13:16Speaker 2: I don't know why everyone is so pissed off at
- 13:17Speaker 2: ose Cabiiro.
- 13:20Speaker 3: He's always pissed guys off before the pitch clock something
- 13:23Speaker 3: about I always say it's something out his face. You
- 13:26Speaker 3: know when somebody pisses somebody off. It's like there's just
- 13:29Speaker 3: something that pisses guys off. I mean, I remember he
- 13:33Speaker 3: used to piss the Yankees off when he was with
- 13:35Speaker 3: the Rays. Like, to me, that means he's doing his job.
- 13:38Speaker 3: But I'm gonna go to the quote Santana's quote. He said,
- 13:42Speaker 3: it's the eighth inning and you got a couple hits,
- 13:44Speaker 3: like get ready. He can do whatever he wants, but
- 13:48Speaker 3: we're already losing, is what Santana's quotes were. So so
- 13:54Speaker 3: Kabyer is supposed to do what it is my question,
- 13:57Speaker 3: like he's supposed to give aways at bat, he's supposed
- 14:00Speaker 3: to change his rhythm in his timing for is that
- 14:05Speaker 3: bout like it's an advantage to me? I think when
- 14:08Speaker 3: the hit when the pitch clock came in, we were
- 14:12Speaker 3: out of the game. I was in the minor leagues,
- 14:14Speaker 3: and I felt like it was a hindrance for me
- 14:16Speaker 3: as a hitter because I had a process when I
- 14:19Speaker 3: went up to the plate, and if that process got rushed,
- 14:23Speaker 3: if the umpire would ever be like, hey, come on,
- 14:25Speaker 3: let's go get in the boss, get in a box. Uh,
- 14:28Speaker 3: you know, it bugged me. So the fact that Kabiiro's
- 14:31Speaker 3: taken the pitchclock as a hitter and basically put a
- 14:35Speaker 3: stranglehold on it and his absolutely swimming laps in certain pitchers'
- 14:38Speaker 3: heads throughout the league, I think his genius and its
- 14:42Speaker 3: an advantage is probably one of the reasons he's having
- 14:44Speaker 3: a good year this year.

- 15:46Speaker 1: Agreed, he's not doing anything wrong. I don't know.
- 15:48Speaker 2: Aaron Boone has some quotes about this, and I kind
- 15:50Speaker 2: of stand with Aaron Boone on this one.
- 15:54Speaker 6: Are you surprised opposing pictures are still haveing trouble with
- 15:56Speaker 6: what Cabero's doing.
- 15:57Speaker 3: At the plate.
- 15:58Speaker 1: He's considering he's been doing it.
- 16:00Speaker 3: Oh yeah, with the eight second.
- 16:05Speaker 6: I don't know, I mean, not necessarily. It's a weird
- 16:12Speaker 6: timing thing for for guys, and obviously you can't start up.
- 16:16Speaker 6: So when not a lot of guys do it, you know,
- 16:20Speaker 6: it can catch you off guard. Probably a little bit
- 16:22Speaker 6: if you're on the opposing team.
- 16:23Speaker 3: Would it annoy you?
- 16:26Speaker 6: Uh? It has in the past, But no, I'm and
- 16:29Speaker 6: more so than him being on our team now is like,
- 16:32Speaker 6: I completely understand. It's part of his process of getting
- 16:35Speaker 6: ready mentally to hit. And you know, frankly, I think
- 16:40Speaker 6: got more guys should implore it, and that way you
- 16:42Speaker 6: take the you know picture out of having all the
- 16:47Speaker 6: ability to disrupt timing.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Oh great man, By the way, it's it's employ it,
- 16:52Speaker 1: not implore it. But we're not. We're not the grammar
- 16:55Speaker 1: police on this one.
- 16:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:58Speaker 1: Yeah, but he's awesome, and I.
- 17:02Speaker 2: Agree he's doing stuff that other players can do. And
- 17:07Speaker 2: the best part of that answer was, well, when he
- 17:09Speaker 2: was on the other team, we we didn't love all
- 17:12Speaker 2: of his stuff, right, but now he's on our team
- 17:15Speaker 2: and we got his back.
- 17:16Speaker 3: So I love this.
- 17:17Speaker 2: I think it's awesome and I love what Aaron Boon said.
- 17:20Speaker 2: Other teams should implore this. Other guys should implore this,
- 17:23Speaker 2: and they should go out and they should do this
- 17:26Speaker 2: because I think that it works. And the fact that
- 17:30Speaker 2: pitchers are getting pissed off about this is just I'm sorry,
- 17:34Speaker 2: it's dumb.
- 17:35Speaker 1: It's dumb. This is a dumb reason to get mad
- 17:37Speaker 1: at somebody.
- 17:38Speaker 3: We need we need to chat to give us the
- 17:40Speaker 3: definition for implore and employ. And this is not people
- 17:46Speaker 3: are gonna people I know what people are gonna say
- 17:47Speaker 3: in the comments, Well, Aja, this was this was right
- 17:50Speaker 3: up your alley. This was right like he's not doing
- 17:54Speaker 3: anything wrong, but it's not. But it's not right up
- 17:57Speaker 3: your alley in the sense that it's like, oh, he's
- 17:59Speaker 3: such you know what the stuff that he does is
- 18:02Speaker 3: really gets under my skin. What is what is kaby
- 18:06Speaker 3: Yer supposed to do to me? The stuff that aj
- 18:09Speaker 3: did when he played, like talking to guys in the
- 18:12Speaker 3: box or like, you know, perceived ways that he would
- 18:15Speaker 3: do things. It was only to win. It's to take
- 18:19Speaker 3: an advantage away from the other team. That to me,
- 18:23Speaker 3: you're giving it to the team if you if you
- 18:25Speaker 3: react to Kbayer doing this, then you've already lost. If
- 18:31Speaker 3: like Cooper Pratt Cooper Pratt's got like four days in
- 18:34Speaker 3: the big leagues. He does it routinely does it, and
- 18:38Speaker 3: every once in a while, Bang, he'll turn and he'll
- 18:41Speaker 3: look at the picture at like twelve seconds and you
- 18:46Speaker 3: can see the picture is like it's almost like they
- 18:50Speaker 3: like flinch, like they're not ready to come set or
- 18:53Speaker 3: something like. It's it's it's such a genius way. And
- 18:57Speaker 3: I think more guys in the minor leagues are trying
- 18:59Speaker 3: to employ, not implore it, employ it. And I think
- 19:03Speaker 3: it's something that you can change. You can take control
- 19:06Speaker 3: of that pitch clock, like I said before, like Boonie said,
- 19:09Speaker 3: and like this is not a this is not a
- 19:12Speaker 3: dirty play. Oh you're losing. And for Santana to say, oh,
- 19:16Speaker 3: well we're already losing, why don't you just get ready,
- 19:19Speaker 3: Why don't you just get in the box, well and
- 19:21Speaker 3: just swing at the first pitch when I don't swing
- 19:23Speaker 3: at the first pitch, or just you know, just put
- 19:25Speaker 3: the ball in play and hope something happens. No, it's
- 19:27Speaker 3: the big leagues. Everyet bat matters.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Agreed, agree what he's doing is awesome. I think it's great.
- 19:33Speaker 1: And then more more guys do it.
- 19:34Speaker 2: More power to them, and if pitchers get pissed off,
- 19:37Speaker 2: you know what, they don't like it play better.
- 19:39Speaker 1: So I don't know.
- 19:40Speaker 2: But also the Yankees are getting standing back hopefully soon,
- 19:43Speaker 2: you know. Every time it seems like lately, every time
- 19:45Speaker 2: Stanton goes on rehab, something else pops up. So hopefully
- 19:47Speaker 2: you can get big g back. And then Max Freed
- 19:50Speaker 2: is supposed to come back next week. And of course
- 19:51Speaker 2: they're bringing to pitch against the White Sox. Why because
- 19:54Speaker 2: the White Sox.
- 19:55Speaker 1: Are in first place, crotchy, so there's a.
- 19:57Speaker 2: Little and they won two out of three from the
- 19:58Speaker 2: Yankees already, so Yank, he's a little scared of the
- 20:01Speaker 2: old Mighty White Sox.
- 20:03Speaker 3: I mean, the Yankees had to clean up their own
- 20:05Speaker 3: house before they're that one in ten stretch one and
- 20:09Speaker 3: nine stretch that they went on that was. I feel
- 20:13Speaker 3: like there's good teams and then there's teams that can
- 20:15Speaker 3: be streaky. And I feel like when you're a streaky
- 20:18Speaker 3: team that is good, you can run into that bad
- 20:24Speaker 3: streak during the playoffs. You can run into that bad
- 20:26Speaker 3: streak when you face a team that's able to execute
- 20:30Speaker 3: their pitches. If you look back through starting back with
- 20:33Speaker 3: the Red Sox series, it was a team that was
- 20:37Speaker 3: able to be pitched to. The Red Sox threw out
- 20:39Speaker 3: guys like Totally guys like Bennett, guys like Conley, early,
- 20:44Speaker 3: guys who were hitting their locations and weren't just shotguns
- 20:48Speaker 3: spraying the ball into the zone, and the Yankees really
- 20:52Speaker 3: had a lot of problem with that. Yes, with Judge out,
- 20:55Speaker 3: the lineup is always going to be worse. I feel
- 20:57Speaker 3: like that's the most remedial thing to say. But getting
- 21:01Speaker 3: Stanton back is just like the Dodgers with Blake Snell,
- 21:04Speaker 3: with Tyler Glass Snell with now with show, Hey, could
- 21:08Speaker 3: Stanton play tomorrow if the playoffs started, that's the question.
- 21:14Speaker 3: When he's healthy enough to play that, that's when we
- 21:18Speaker 3: get him out there. Not we need you to get
- 21:20Speaker 3: us out of this two to nine skid that we're in.
- 21:23Speaker 3: We need you to get us out of this. We're
- 21:25Speaker 3: playing the White Sox, freed. You need to come off
- 21:27Speaker 3: the ie olt. No, the Yankees, I feel like, are
- 21:30Speaker 3: kind of in a little bit of a cruise mode
- 21:32Speaker 3: with maybe a little bit of a panic.
- 21:35Speaker 1: Okay, that's fair. I don't know, we'll see, but they've
- 21:37Speaker 1: gotten a lot close.
- 21:38Speaker 2: I remember the race put some separation, and now the
- 21:41Speaker 2: Yankees have closed that gap a little bit. So they're
- 21:43Speaker 2: doing some right and they look like they're getting healthier.
- 21:45Speaker 2: If they get judged back, we don't know when that's
- 21:47Speaker 2: gonna be or if that's gonna be. But Stan would help.
- 21:49Speaker 2: Obviously Max Freed would help, but hey, we'll talk about
- 21:53Speaker 2: it when it gets closer.
- 21:55Speaker 3: I think they need Max Freed more than stant just
- 21:58Speaker 3: just to be honest, I think that that's a solid piece,
- 22:01Speaker 3: especially since Garrett Cole. It's coming off of Tommy John surgery. Like,
- 22:07Speaker 3: you don't just go out and go I'm just gonna
- 22:09Speaker 3: pitch forever. You were the one that said it. Shane
- 22:11Speaker 3: Bieber came on and confirmed it. Guys don't always heal
- 22:15Speaker 3: the exact same way.
- 22:18Speaker 4: What if you can actually have it all? And I'm
- 22:21Speaker 4: talking about mint Mobile taking the premium wireless bouginess crats,
- 22:26Speaker 4: but then bringing it to the transparency in pricing and
- 22:30Speaker 4: the affordability in pricing.
- 22:32Speaker 3: They're gonna lay everything out there with a cheap bill
- 22:35Speaker 3: that you know what everybody can handle right now.
- 22:38Speaker 4: You can even bring your current phone and your number.
- 22:41Speaker 4: If you're thinking about it, and you're like, I'm worried
- 22:43Speaker 4: about that, No worries. They have you covered because they're
- 22:45Speaker 4: able to convert people all the time to the Mintmobile way.
- 22:49Speaker 4: Go to mintmobile dot com slash territory. That's mintmobile dot

- 22:57Speaker 3: That's it.
- 22:58Speaker 4: There's no catch up front payment of forty five dollars

- 23:03Speaker 4: hundred eighty dollars for twelve month. Plan required fifteen dollars

- 23:09Speaker 4: only greater than fifty gigabytes may slow when network is busy.
- 23:13Speaker 4: Includes up to twenty gigabyte hotspot capable device required availability,
- 23:17Speaker 4: speed and coverage varies cemittmobile dot com.
- 23:31Speaker 2: All right, slappans, Here we go. Interesting thing here, umpires
- 23:36Speaker 2: take a lot of heat. We haven't done an MP
- 23:37Speaker 2: show in a while.
- 23:38Speaker 1: I think ABS has kind of fixed that. Although some
- 23:40Speaker 1: umpires are worse than others crotzy as we know.
- 23:44Speaker 2: But here we go. Age has definitely become a factor
- 23:47Speaker 2: and who is good and who is not good As
- 23:50Speaker 2: an umpire. There was recently, a big study done and
- 23:54Speaker 2: under the age of forty entering Monday have been overturned
- 23:56Speaker 2: fifty point one percent of the time, and if you're
- 24:00Speaker 2: over forty, it was up to fifty four percent of
- 24:04Speaker 2: the time. And then if you go over fifty, it's
- 24:07Speaker 2: fifty seven point two percent of the time, and if
- 24:10Speaker 2: you're over fifty five, it's fifty eight point two percent
- 24:13Speaker 2: of the time. And if you're Bill Miller, Caleb Ferguson
- 24:16Speaker 2: wants you to get on ozembic, but we won't talk
- 24:18Speaker 2: about that.
- 24:22Speaker 3: That might be for another time, another show. But AJ,
- 24:27Speaker 3: what do you always say? Father time catches up to everybody?
- 24:32Speaker 3: And this is if you would see those percentages, and
- 24:35Speaker 3: I didn't. I didn't break down the numbers. It's like
- 24:38Speaker 3: four percent, seven percent, nine percent in each of those ages.
- 24:43Speaker 3: If you do that as a player, if your if
- 24:46Speaker 3: your ability, your numbers go down those percentages. You know
- 24:50Speaker 3: what happens, AJ, you go home, you get sent home,
- 24:54Speaker 3: You don't have a job anymore. So is it fair?
- 25:00Speaker 3: I don't know where I stand on this. I don't
- 25:02Speaker 3: think empires should get fired, but I think they should
- 25:05Speaker 3: be held accountable. So where that is I don't know,
- 25:08Speaker 3: because all of a sudden they get a little Everybody
- 25:12Speaker 3: does a little bit better when there's some accountability, but
- 25:15Speaker 3: they're not accountable. They're not held accountable. And these numbers
- 25:19Speaker 3: show you know what they're missing a few more the
- 25:25Speaker 3: older they get. Anybody knows maybe the game is a
- 25:28Speaker 3: little too fast for a certain age eye. Well, you
- 25:32Speaker 3: know what, if you want to keep playing as a player,
- 25:34Speaker 3: you got to keep up because it's a young man's
- 25:37Speaker 3: game and the velocities that these balls are being thrown
- 25:40Speaker 3: at as an umpire, if you don't keep up, you're
- 25:44Speaker 3: just not going to do as well. I think the
- 25:46Speaker 3: ABS will keep these guys accountable, and I think you're
- 25:50Speaker 3: gonna see you'll eventually see guys keep up or they'll
- 25:55Speaker 3: get out.
- 25:57Speaker 2: Well, that's why there's so many guys leaving at the
- 25:59Speaker 2: end of the year, the buyout, right, it's all veteran
- 26:01Speaker 2: guys that are out after this year.
- 26:03Speaker 1: I think.
- 26:03Speaker 2: Well, you see seven guys, I think, and they're all
- 26:06Speaker 2: they're all older guys, not the younger guys. Yeah, so
- 26:08Speaker 2: they're all guys that are have been around since I
- 26:11Speaker 2: was around. A lot of those guys they've played in
- 26:13Speaker 2: the minor league, so I think that, yeah, it happens,
- 26:18Speaker 2: and you know what, it's not the it's not the
- 26:22Speaker 2: it's not the worst thing in the world. And by
- 26:23Speaker 2: the way, the lowest performing umpire with at least nine
- 26:26Speaker 2: hundred pitches called this year is fifty nine year old
- 26:30Speaker 2: Andy Fletcher, who's a really nice guy. I really like Andy.
- 26:32Speaker 2: I've known Andy for a long time again, had him
- 26:33Speaker 2: in the minor leagues. He's been overturned on thirty eight
- 26:37Speaker 2: of the fifty four called pitches, or seventy point four percent,
- 26:41Speaker 2: which is a high number. But I also, you know
- 26:43Speaker 2: what's funny, he has big misses though, But at fifty
- 26:46Speaker 2: four called nine hundred pitches fifty four, that doesn't seem
- 26:50Speaker 2: like a large number of challenges. So maybe Andy every
- 26:53Speaker 2: once in a while just gets caught with ADHD and
- 26:56Speaker 2: he's looking up in the stands and there's a pitch
- 26:57Speaker 2: because BYD he's like straight and he has a pitch out.
- 27:00Speaker 2: I don't know, but it doesn't seem like a very
- 27:02Speaker 2: high number, only fifty four and we're into almost August.
- 27:07Speaker 3: Numbers do for the front office what they want them
- 27:10Speaker 3: to do. They talk about baseball and generalities. These numbers
- 27:15Speaker 3: talk about umpires in generalities and the fact that you're
- 27:18Speaker 3: over a certain age, you're getting more of your calls
- 27:24Speaker 3: incorrect than people who are five years younger, ten years younger.
- 27:28Speaker 3: That's just just the reality of it. This is why
- 27:32Speaker 3: teams don't give long term contracts to older players. This
- 27:35Speaker 3: is why some team David Stearns doesn't want to give
- 27:38Speaker 3: a picture over three years because he is afraid that
- 27:42Speaker 3: he'll break down. He's afraid he'll get old, he'll fra
- 27:45Speaker 3: you know, whatever it is. These numbers are used against players.
- 27:49Speaker 3: Now we see him frompires do true?
- 27:53Speaker 1: True? My other listen, I had bad umpires that were young,
- 27:56Speaker 1: bad umpires that were old. That doesn't matter. Just sometimes
- 28:01Speaker 1: umpires have bad days.
- 28:02Speaker 2: I mean we've seen, you know, guys tap their hat
- 28:04Speaker 2: and it doesn't matter if their umpires are young, and
- 28:06Speaker 2: they still get the hat tap more than others.
- 28:08Speaker 1: So yeah, I mean.
- 28:09Speaker 3: Yeah, but you said about Andy Fletcher, you liked Andy Fletcher.
- 28:12Speaker 3: That was how we gauged an umpire. Las Diz consistently
- 28:16Speaker 3: and he's that he's getting a buy out after this
- 28:18Speaker 3: year consistently was one of the worst player worst umpires.
- 28:22Speaker 3: I loved Lass like he rubbed some people the wrong way.
- 28:25Speaker 3: I had a great time with with Las or you know,
- 28:29Speaker 3: there's tons of those guys, and just because they were bad,
- 28:33Speaker 3: it didn't mean you felt like as a player they
- 28:35Speaker 3: were not good umpires. It was how they interacted with you.
- 28:38Speaker 3: And I think that's why CB gets such a bad rap.
- 28:41Speaker 3: I think that's why Angel got such a bad rep.
- 28:44Speaker 3: I think that's why Joe got a bad rap, because
- 28:47Speaker 3: how he interacted with guys dictated if they liked him
- 28:50Speaker 3: or not.
- 28:53Speaker 1: Yeah, listen, I don't know, I kinda whatever.
- 28:57Speaker 2: I don't know Umbar's and I empires and it's changed,
- 29:00Speaker 2: so I think it's a little bit different now than
- 29:04Speaker 2: it used to be. But I also want to before
- 29:05Speaker 2: we leave, there's a couple of things I want to
- 29:07Speaker 2: hit on. First of all, Kratzy, did you see the
- 29:09Speaker 2: Rockies Kyle Freeland where the guy like touched the dirt
- 29:12Speaker 2: on the mound and Kyle Freeland kind of screamed at him.
- 29:15Speaker 1: Listen, Chicago, Yeah, I know that. People.
- 29:18Speaker 2: I'm not even try and pronounce his name because I
- 29:20Speaker 2: don't have a pronunciation.
- 29:21Speaker 1: Got in front of me.
- 29:22Speaker 2: But I mean, he like barely touched the mound and
- 29:24Speaker 2: this wasn't like where a guy ran directly over the
- 29:27Speaker 2: mound or touched ran over the.
- 29:29Speaker 1: Rubber like he was. He barely touched the dirt. I
- 29:32Speaker 1: don't know. I thought it was blown out of proportion.
- 29:34Speaker 1: But hey, Kyle Freeland, you do you, buddy.
- 29:37Speaker 3: I mean it's the veteran, you know what he thought
- 29:40Speaker 3: he disrespected it. I'd never really understood the whole disrespecting
- 29:45Speaker 3: touching the mound, but like I think it was like
- 29:48Speaker 3: one foot on the mount, like one foot on the dirt.
- 29:51Speaker 3: It was like right down towards the grass like I
- 29:54Speaker 3: don't know. I mean, Alexis Rios one time ran all
- 29:59Speaker 3: the way to third on the floor eyeball and ran
- 30:00Speaker 3: across the mound to get back to first base. So
- 30:04Speaker 3: rookie ball mistakes. I don't know if Japaro was trying
- 30:08Speaker 3: to disrespect Cayle Freelan at all, Like it just it
- 30:14Speaker 3: felt like a time. And I know it was more barking,
- 30:16Speaker 3: you know, the one one one dog barks, another dog barks.
- 30:20Speaker 3: Would you say, whoa, whoa what? Somebody hold me back now,
- 30:23Speaker 3: I'm mad kind of thing.
- 30:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know, it is.
- 30:28Speaker 2: It wasn't a big deal. I just thought it was
- 30:30Speaker 2: kind of funny that Cayle Freeland defend your turf. Okay,
- 30:36Speaker 2: that's all I gonna say. You can defend your turf
- 30:38Speaker 2: if you want to, and that's fine. But I mean,
- 30:40Speaker 2: I was a catcher and I had to run across
- 30:41Speaker 2: the mound to get to the rosenbag, and my pitcher
- 30:43Speaker 2: never yelled at me. So I don't know why when
- 30:45Speaker 2: you're that you can't do it. But whatever, anyways, is
- 30:50Speaker 2: old different story tonight. Let's take a little look at
- 30:52Speaker 2: tonight's games. Obviously, the marquee game is Zach Wheeler and
- 30:57Speaker 2: Justin Robleski two All Stars.
- 30:59Speaker 1: I'm I mean one only one All Star. Oh that's right.
- 31:02Speaker 2: I forgot Zack Wheeler didn't make it, even though he's
- 31:04Speaker 2: like the best pitcher in the National League. I mean,
- 31:08Speaker 2: Jase Burns just signed a new contract. He's pitching a
- 31:10Speaker 2: night at Seattle. Fromber's pitching anight walker Bueller needs to
- 31:15Speaker 2: try to figure things out for the Padres Brewers are
- 31:17Speaker 2: hosting the Mets. There's a lot of good games to night,
- 31:19Speaker 2: Crotchy that have Veige implications, not only for tonight but
- 31:22Speaker 2: in the penne race.
- 31:24Speaker 3: I think the first one you said the Dodgers and Phillies.
- 31:28Speaker 3: I think it's so funny that obviously we talked about
- 31:31Speaker 3: the whole Wheeler thing. I'm not saying we need to
- 31:33Speaker 3: rehash that, but when he said no, Justin Robleski was
- 31:38Speaker 3: the one that they picked who I thought should have
- 31:39Speaker 3: been an All Star too. But you know, there's that
- 31:41Speaker 3: line of snubs. I think it's crazy that it's worked
- 31:44Speaker 3: out that way. And I think Toronto and the Rays
- 31:49Speaker 3: this series, Toronto's at a make or break. We've talked
- 31:54Speaker 3: most of the show about trade deadline teams that are
- 31:58Speaker 3: playing bad what they have to do, like, sorry, the
- 32:02Speaker 3: Blue Jays, like you have to figure it out against
- 32:05Speaker 3: the team that's also trying to figure it out after
- 32:08Speaker 3: getting swept, Like you can't you just This is why
- 32:11Speaker 3: people say the American League East National League East are
- 32:15Speaker 3: the toughest divisions because you don't get time off, you
- 32:18Speaker 3: don't get an opportunity to be eight games under five
- 32:21Speaker 3: hundred and say, well, you know what, We'll play some
- 32:25Speaker 3: crappy AL Central NL Central teams. No, Like you gotta
- 32:30Speaker 3: get going, And the Blue Jays now have to figure
- 32:32Speaker 3: it out against the Rays, who also have to try
- 32:34Speaker 3: to figure out how to hold the Yankees off. So
- 32:37Speaker 3: it's I think it's a great series especially you know, yeah,
- 32:42Speaker 3: just these teams getting after it.
- 32:46Speaker 1: Todd Father, are you hitting some games this summer? What's
- 32:48Speaker 1: the deal?

- 33:47Speaker 1: Yeah, well again.
- 33:48Speaker 2: You know, the Blue Jays lined up their pitching rotation
- 33:50Speaker 2: to face the Rays. Right, it was Dylan Ceas last night.
- 33:52Speaker 2: Now it's Kevin Gosman to night. They are in first place,
- 33:55Speaker 2: they had the All Star break to kind of finagle
- 33:57Speaker 2: it to and they lost the first game with the
- 33:59Speaker 2: guy who's started the All Star Game in Dylan See.
- 34:01Speaker 2: So now can Kevin Gossman, who's kind of struggled lately,
- 34:05Speaker 2: pick them up and get them back or at least
- 34:07Speaker 2: where they think they're back into this race?
- 34:10Speaker 3: And who's pitching for the Rays? I know it says
- 34:12Speaker 3: on the list it says Nick Martinez, but I think
- 34:14Speaker 3: Nick Martinez pitched last night, so I wanted to see
- 34:17Speaker 3: who was pitching for the race. Oh, I mean they
- 34:20Speaker 3: got to face another All Star and Drew Drew so Rasmussen.
- 34:26Speaker 3: I'm sorry, I always say Resmusen. I played with a guy,
- 34:30Speaker 3: got traded with a guy that was Res Musen, and
- 34:32Speaker 3: I always screw his name up. Sorry, Drew, such a nice,
- 34:35Speaker 3: happy guy. But it's a tough drawl like this is
- 34:38Speaker 3: what I'm talking about. The Blue Jays can't just like
- 34:40Speaker 3: slowly figure it out. They gotta get they gotta get
- 34:43Speaker 3: it going tonight. Godsman can't have a can't have a
- 34:48Speaker 3: four and a half plus e er. He has to
- 34:51Speaker 3: be the guy that took them to where they were
- 34:53Speaker 3: because the Blue Jays don't have MVP caliber George Springer,
- 34:57Speaker 3: they don't have MVP Cali, Vladimir Guerrero. I mean, they
- 35:02Speaker 3: had those players, but they're not playing to that level.
- 35:05Speaker 3: Doulton Varso last year was playing to a ridiculous level
- 35:08Speaker 3: when he was healthy. And you say, well, okay, well
- 35:11Speaker 3: what's wrong with the Jays. A lot of things are
- 35:13Speaker 3: wrong with the Jays. They're not playing as well as
- 35:15Speaker 3: they did last year.
- 35:18Speaker 1: True, true, and interesting.
- 35:19Speaker 2: Another interesting one is Bubba Chandler, in all his walks,
- 35:22Speaker 2: is pitching in Yankee Stadium against Almar Rodriguez. He's he's
- 35:26Speaker 2: if the Pirates are actually going to be for real,
- 35:28Speaker 2: Bubba's got to figure it out. Three names of the
- 35:29Speaker 2: four almost the five vra is not what we expected
- 35:32Speaker 2: out of Bubba Chandler.
- 35:33Speaker 3: Did you ever catch a young Pitcher who walked a
- 35:37Speaker 3: ton of guys and stayed in the big leagues this long.
- 35:40Speaker 2: It's usually it was quick out, but Bubba Chandler has
- 35:43Speaker 2: been hyped and he couldn't hype and he's not. Oh
- 35:47Speaker 2: never mind, we don't have to worry about it because
- 35:48Speaker 2: that game already got rained out, so we don't even
- 35:50Speaker 2: have to worry about it. We don't have to worry
- 35:51Speaker 2: about will Bubba Chandler be able to walk anyone tonight?
- 35:54Speaker 1: So breaking news. If you made a bet on the
- 35:56Speaker 1: Yankees and the Pirates, or if you were.
- 35:58Speaker 2: Going to that game, you can stay home because that
- 36:01Speaker 2: game has been rained out. And apparently there's also a
- 36:04Speaker 2: tornado warning in New Jersey. So New Jersey sounds like
- 36:07Speaker 2: an awesome place to live.
- 36:08Speaker 3: Not well, I mean, that's where I'm at right now,
- 36:12Speaker 3: so I'm pretty sure I'm looking outside and I'm gonna
- 36:15Speaker 3: I got my bathing suit on, so I'm gonna be
- 36:17Speaker 3: I'm gonna be going going out to the beach soon.
- 36:19Speaker 3: So I'm not sure what part of New Jersey. Stay
- 36:21Speaker 3: out of that part. But seriously, Agent, I mean, maybe
- 36:23Speaker 3: we could talk about this another time, but like you can't.
- 36:26Speaker 3: You you were with the White Sox. I felt like
- 36:28Speaker 3: in the minor leagues playing against the White Sox, they
- 36:31Speaker 3: had a ton of guys who couldn't throw strikes that
- 36:35Speaker 3: would get caught up to the big leagues. And the
- 36:36Speaker 3: next time we played them in Triple A, they were
- 36:38Speaker 3: back down there real quick. They had some really, really
- 36:41Speaker 3: good arms. But I felt like there when we came
- 36:45Speaker 3: up through the minor leagues, if you didn't throw strikes,
- 36:47Speaker 3: when you got to the big leagues, you were out quick.
- 36:51Speaker 3: And Bubba Chandler, you're looking down his true Media page
- 36:54Speaker 3: and it's like four four three, one, five, four six
- 37:00Speaker 3: or three, like walks per outing, Like I've never seen
- 37:04Speaker 3: a situation where guys walk a lot. But how do
- 37:07Speaker 3: you deal with that? When you're talking about a young guy?
- 37:10Speaker 3: How would you deal with it? Like, hey, bro, throw
- 37:12Speaker 3: more strikes.
- 37:15Speaker 1: You gotta find a pitch you can throw over the plate.
- 37:16Speaker 1: That's it. You got to use it and try to
- 37:18Speaker 1: get them to learn the other ones.
- 37:19Speaker 2: But that's a conversation for another day, because apparently there's
- 37:23Speaker 2: a twister warning and.
- 37:25Speaker 1: We're gonna see, uh, what is it? What was her name?
- 37:27Speaker 1: Helen Hunt?
- 37:28Speaker 2: And I don't know who the other guy and the
- 37:31Speaker 2: original twister was when they were chasing tornadoes. But maybe
- 37:34Speaker 2: that's what Mark Weener be doing today with Claudia producer
- 37:36Speaker 2: Lady in New Jersey. Also, before I go, I wasn't
- 37:38Speaker 2: here yesterday. I just want to say congratulations to Spain
- 37:42Speaker 2: for winning the World Cup.
- 37:43Speaker 1: It was a pretty epic game. How in the.
- 37:45Speaker 2: Holy hell Argentina didn't have a shot on goal until
- 37:48Speaker 2: about two minutes left in the game is absolutely ridiculous.
- 37:51Speaker 2: With the best player of all time, they couldn't even
- 37:53Speaker 2: get the ball pass midfield. It was crazy. But congratulations
- 37:58Speaker 2: in Spain. My daughter's in Spain. I'm doing study broad
- 38:00Speaker 2: so she got to party like a rock star. She
- 38:02Speaker 2: got to live it up. So congratulations Spain and lemeil
- 38:07Speaker 2: you may how do you me Emeli whatevermil ya me yeah,
- 38:12Speaker 2: lemel ya mean all the kids. I watched it with
- 38:14Speaker 2: all the kids at the USA Baseball They were all
- 38:16Speaker 2: yelling his name when they want, so he's a pretty
- 38:18Speaker 2: big star for those eighteen, nineteen, seventeen, eighteen year old kids.
- 38:22Speaker 2: So congratulations Spain. We'll see everyone foul Territory tomorrow. It'll
- 38:27Speaker 2: be krats and I right to you and me again
- 38:28Speaker 2: at kratzy and also, uh, if you want to hear
- 38:31Speaker 2: about all the kids. I don't know what's coming up
- 38:33Speaker 2: on hot sheet next with Baseball America, but maybe they'll
- 38:36Speaker 2: talk to USA Baseball.
- 38:37Speaker 1: And how great of a third.
- 38:38Speaker 2: Base coach I was, see guys tomorrow. Whether you predicted
- 38:45Speaker 2: a walk off home run or a game saving strikeout,
