- 0:00Speaker 1: So, guys, I see this, Al Sharpton is backing giving
- 0:06Speaker 1: his blessing to Caesar's Palace Times Square, and it just
- 0:11Speaker 1: makes me laugh. Of course Sharpton would be I'm sure
- 0:15Speaker 1: it has a gotta be a little something for him.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Hip hop mogul jay Z wants to bring a casino
- 0:21Speaker 1: hotel to Broadway.
- 0:24Speaker 2: I just when is enough enough?
- 0:27Speaker 1: You want to bring gambling to.
- 0:30Speaker 2: The heart of the city where the ball drops and.
- 0:34Speaker 1: At least there I see another article on at least
- 0:37Speaker 1: the high school students. Now this really makes me feel good.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Right in Jersey, this is another article here in Jersey.
- 0:44Speaker 1: They're actually going to be teaching students about the risk
- 0:48Speaker 1: of gambling.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Now. Even though I make my living gambling, I depend
- 0:52Speaker 2: on it.
- 0:53Speaker 1: I'm a real big advocate for responsible gambling, and I
- 0:57Speaker 1: talk about it all the time because I know the
- 0:59Speaker 1: perils and the things I was involved in when I
- 1:01Speaker 1: was a kid. You know, I'm not just saying my
- 1:04Speaker 1: area in North Jersey, New York, the Bronx, all the
- 1:09Speaker 1: boroughs though. Really, you know, gambling is so fashionable now,
- 1:13Speaker 1: but I'm talking about, you know, thirty forty years ago,
- 1:16Speaker 1: when it wasn't like that. We had racetracks everywhere, Belmont Aqueduct, meadowlands,
- 1:23Speaker 1: literally gambling all over the place, state lotteries, bookmakers everywhere.
- 1:29Speaker 1: And then after our joint stole city, and after our joint,
- 1:31Speaker 1: really before even the casinos came in the seventies, my
- 1:35Speaker 1: dad was telling me about them, and most people, you know.
- 1:38Speaker 2: You could play even the feast. You you can gamble
- 1:40Speaker 2: on the feast.
- 1:41Speaker 1: They their church gets the money, but you know, I'm
- 1:44Speaker 1: sure they have their own partners also, wink wink. But yeah, no,
- 1:49Speaker 1: I like that they're teaching this in school now, So
- 1:53Speaker 1: they're going to be teaching some things in school. But
- 1:55Speaker 1: as a matter of fact, in Virginia or westerngast Virginia.
- 1:58Speaker 1: In Virginia they were in do this. So in Virginia,
- 2:02Speaker 1: their schools are are teaching this because like I've said
- 2:05Speaker 1: on this platform before and others, uh, every college in
- 2:09Speaker 1: America has got a gambling problem. I know, I'm like
- 2:11Speaker 1: a proper record, but I'm gonna keep on saying it.
- 2:13Speaker 1: So but people that listen and and think their kids
- 2:16Speaker 1: are in college, and they're you know, oh yeah, they're
- 2:18Speaker 1: in college, They're they're gonna you know, uh further their
- 2:21Speaker 1: education and this and trust me, it's around them. It's
- 2:24Speaker 1: around them, so I don't have to be where I am.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Like I said, it could be all over the country,
- 2:28Speaker 1: gamblings everywhere. And I know all the cities that are
- 2:31Speaker 1: inner cities like.
- 2:32Speaker 3: Where I grew up.
- 2:33Speaker 1: You know that it's it's gonna hit everybody. There's vice
- 2:36Speaker 1: is all over the place. Gambling was ours. So I
- 2:39Speaker 1: like to see that, uh, that that is one thing
- 2:43Speaker 1: that that's being addressed, uh in the schools.
- 2:46Speaker 2: And I just I laugh.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Every time I see these these big things, and and
- 2:51Speaker 1: uh when I see these, they.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Want casinos all over New York.
- 2:54Speaker 1: I mean they just turned one down, you know, one
- 2:59Speaker 1: of these things down. Say, guys, I'll ask you and Randy,
- 3:01Speaker 1: since you were both at the concert one of the
- 3:03Speaker 1: biggest story.
- 3:04Speaker 2: On Google today. You know, we go all over the
- 3:06Speaker 2: place with the show.
- 3:08Speaker 1: A C d C fans A C d C fans
- 3:12Speaker 1: are urging the band to retire after lackluster, lackluster concert. John, Randy,
- 3:20Speaker 1: you guys went to the show with me, and I
- 3:24Speaker 1: don't know, I thought Angus was great. I thought I
- 3:27Speaker 1: thought even Brian Johnson for most of the concert, even
- 3:29Speaker 1: though he didn't run around but I thought he sounded
- 3:31Speaker 1: pretty good.
- 3:32Speaker 2: I thought angus, I thought it was unbelievable.
- 3:34Speaker 1: I didn't carryla lackluster. I mean, but it was. This
- 3:40Speaker 1: was a giant volume. This was a giant story like
- 3:44Speaker 1: all over the in the internet yesterday, I was like
- 3:46Speaker 1: a c D. Yeah, I mean we can we can
- 3:50Speaker 1: go uh you know, everywhere with some of with some
- 3:52Speaker 1: of these stories.
- 3:53Speaker 3: But you know, uh yeah.
- 3:55Speaker 4: I mean if you're comparing, if you're comparing him, comparing
- 3:59Speaker 4: them to the from the late seventies and early eighties, like,
- 4:02Speaker 4: of course there's going to be a difference. But I
- 4:05Speaker 4: wouldn't call for retirement. I mean, that guy was bouncing around.
- 4:08Speaker 5: The stage.
- 4:11Speaker 4: Like he was in his thirties, Like, you know, does
- 4:14Speaker 4: he sound the same? No, but he still sounds good.
- 4:17Speaker 4: But you can't expect him to be able to match
- 4:20Speaker 4: his voice from nineteen eighty.
- 4:21Speaker 5: One, Like what are we doing?
- 4:23Speaker 1: I've seen The Stones twenty sometimes now. The last time
- 4:27Speaker 1: Keith Richards came out and just kind of stood where
- 4:29Speaker 1: he was, didn't real they were great, they were great.
- 4:32Speaker 1: I love seeing him, so I love to see him again.
- 4:35Speaker 1: I'll see the Stones forever until they're done.
- 4:37Speaker 3: So Mick could still get around Mick.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Mick was flying around, running all out running like Angus,
- 4:44Speaker 1: only mixed eight years older and Angus six years six
- 4:47Speaker 1: years old and Angus. But anyway, Randy, I wanted to
- 4:52Speaker 1: ask you, did you do any you do any things
- 4:54Speaker 1: for the future, you do any futures in the NFL yet?
- 4:57Speaker 2: Did you do.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Anything un an he and wins or anything like that
- 5:01Speaker 1: for you know, Randy's one of our NFL guys. Anything
- 5:04Speaker 1: you could share yet or might be too early.
- 5:06Speaker 3: Yeah, it's still a little early. I haven't.
- 5:08Speaker 6: I don't like to make him till a couple of
- 5:10Speaker 6: preseason games just to see what happens with the injuries.
- 5:13Speaker 3: But I can see the early leans.
- 5:14Speaker 6: Like today on another show, I was on We've broke
- 5:17Speaker 6: down the Chicago Bears.
- 5:19Speaker 2: What do you think.
- 5:20Speaker 3: Under Definitely like them under the eight and a half there.
- 5:23Speaker 6: They got a very tough road schedule, probably be lucky
- 5:26Speaker 6: to win a game. I bet, I bet the Bears something.
- 5:28Speaker 6: And then with a new coach and a young quarterback,
- 5:31Speaker 6: they do. They did bolster up the offensive line, but
- 5:35Speaker 6: that Bears team, with that schedule and being in a
- 5:37Speaker 6: very tough division, doesn't look like a team that's gonna
- 5:41Speaker 6: win nine games to us, so any lean there would be.
- 5:44Speaker 3: Under eight and a half.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Good. Okay, good, I knowed.
- 5:46Speaker 1: I throw you in there for something, Randy, something I
- 5:50Speaker 1: talked about on Twitter last week. For the slot people
- 5:52Speaker 1: out there. Card building. Boy, the casinos are really cracking
- 5:57Speaker 1: down on anyone playing with someone else's player card.
- 6:02Speaker 2: So if you have a card.
- 6:03Speaker 1: From a from you know, your buddy, even your wife
- 6:06Speaker 1: sitting with you. We profiled the casino that your wife's
- 6:10Speaker 1: sitting with you in California. That is throwing people out
- 6:14Speaker 1: not paying them. So even if you're sitting with your
- 6:17Speaker 1: wife and you're both sitting there pressing the buttons together,
- 6:20Speaker 1: if you're sitting in front of the machine's sitting next
- 6:22Speaker 1: to you and just pressing in the butt the reels
- 6:24Speaker 1: are spinning, Uh, they won't pay you at Pala.
- 6:27Speaker 6: I mean, just awful policy there. I don't understand why.
- 6:31Speaker 6: You know it's an Indian resis. It's probably poorly run,
- 6:33Speaker 6: even though it's a nice place. I've been in there,
- 6:35Speaker 6: But awful policy to do that. You know, you're discouraging
- 6:39Speaker 6: customers even from coming there.
- 6:41Speaker 4: Uh.
- 6:42Speaker 3: They must have and they probably got hit by you know, some.
- 6:45Speaker 6: People that maybe are doing a lot of cards, but
- 6:48Speaker 6: you know, still these people are earning that, earning that
- 6:51Speaker 6: reward to come in and get that anyway. So I
- 6:55Speaker 6: mean they're getting to play in the long run, just
- 6:57Speaker 6: greedy action by them and just awful.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Then what that what Randy's saying there is so in
- 7:04Speaker 1: other words, my brother, I'll get his card and say, Steve,
- 7:08Speaker 1: come to the casino with me and play. And especially
- 7:12Speaker 1: he's out of state. He's got an out of state address,
- 7:14Speaker 1: so he's out of state, and he'll get a much
- 7:17Speaker 1: better offer than I would get in state.
- 7:18Speaker 2: And I'm the one putting all the money up, and I'm.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Going through you know, circle circulating, like let's say one
- 7:26Speaker 1: hundred thousands for a video poker machine that's going to
- 7:29Speaker 1: generate an offer of maybe two hundred dollars a week
- 7:32Speaker 1: for four weeks, where I would only get fifty a
- 7:33Speaker 1: week or hardly anything.
- 7:36Speaker 2: He would get an offer.
- 7:36Speaker 1: So I would take his card and use his free play,
- 7:39Speaker 1: and they would say that they frown on you doing that,
- 7:43Speaker 1: even though he's earned. Like Randy said, the free play. However,
- 7:47Speaker 1: I'm not just saying I pick up the free play
- 7:49Speaker 1: and run. I would, you know, run play through it
- 7:51Speaker 1: and and gamble with it. But casinos are are frowning
- 7:55Speaker 1: against that. Speaking of frowning against I usually don't throw
- 7:59Speaker 1: any individual place, but everyone's throwing them under the bus here.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Recently, FanDuel.
- 8:05Speaker 1: They changed their terms and conditions after a was it
- 8:10Speaker 1: seven leg?
- 8:10Speaker 2: Is it a seven leg home run parlay? Randy?
- 8:12Speaker 3: Yeah, they get hit by some seven or longer or some.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Other seven small or better.
- 8:20Speaker 1: They're in a chat group together. By the way, it's
- 8:22Speaker 1: not advantage gambling. I got thrown out of seizuars because
- 8:25Speaker 1: I was in a I was listening to some sharp
- 8:28Speaker 1: guys in a chat group. That's why Sees just threw
- 8:30Speaker 1: me off at win of twelve hundred bucks. But they
- 8:34Speaker 1: won on a set. Yeah, seven guys, how to hit
- 8:37Speaker 1: a home run seven? Imagine all the money FanDuel and
- 8:41Speaker 1: all the other sportsbooks have made because.
- 8:44Speaker 2: Of these telegram groups and chat groups. Now they want to.
- 8:47Speaker 1: Throw somebody they want to know, well they want to
- 8:50Speaker 1: now they now they want to limit you, or they
- 8:52Speaker 1: want to change the terms and conditions to say, if
- 8:55Speaker 1: more than one person.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Bets that parlay, they have the right not to pay you.
- 9:01Speaker 2: What a bad.
- 9:02Speaker 1: Precedent this is I hope they can rethink these things,
- 9:07Speaker 1: because I'll tell you right now, anyone making a decision
- 9:10Speaker 1: like this.
- 9:11Speaker 2: They put I put a tweet out there.
- 9:13Speaker 1: I usually, like I said, I usually don't want to
- 9:14Speaker 1: down any particular group because there could be more involved.
- 9:18Speaker 2: There could be more involved. You're know, you only get
- 9:20Speaker 2: half the story, but I got a lot of the story.
- 9:22Speaker 1: And I just think all the money these sportsbooks make
- 9:26Speaker 1: from these kind of groups, because they're negative VV expected value,
- 9:29Speaker 1: You're not gonna you're gonna make a lot of money
- 9:31Speaker 1: long term, maybe one hundredfold, one hundred x you're gonna make.
- 9:35Speaker 1: But now someone hits you for a million bucks or
- 9:39Speaker 1: two million. And by the way, in volume, a million
- 9:41Speaker 1: dollars in volume by thirty or forty or fifty or
- 9:43Speaker 1: one hundred people on a chat. But what about all
- 9:46Speaker 1: the tens and twenties and fifties days lost for over
- 9:49Speaker 1: the years. How much does that equal cumulative? That you're
- 9:55Speaker 1: gonna start changing your terms and conditions.
- 9:57Speaker 2: I don't know. I think it's a bad idea. Rany Am,
- 10:00Speaker 2: I am I going to forward this? What do you think?
- 10:02Speaker 3: No, I don't think you are. It's just bad. It's
- 10:05Speaker 3: bad policy.
- 10:06Speaker 6: And you know we're seeing that too much with these
- 10:10Speaker 6: legalized books or you know, they're doing that kind of stuff.
- 10:13Speaker 2: Looking for a lot of ways, a lot of ways.
- 10:15Speaker 6: Yeah, they're they're just driving the business back off shore
- 10:18Speaker 6: or to the local street.
- 10:20Speaker 2: You know that they really are. They're they're actually driving
- 10:22Speaker 2: the business back.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Uh. And you know now they want to withhold money
- 10:27Speaker 1: and it's hard to Someone told me in North Carolina
- 10:30Speaker 1: they were voting today whether to be able to write
- 10:33Speaker 1: your losses off against your wins. I was like, wait, wait,
- 10:36Speaker 1: hold it, hold it, what do you mean that that
- 10:37Speaker 1: doesn't take place? You have to have a good gaming
- 10:39Speaker 1: accountant and you could, of course if you win money
- 10:42Speaker 1: on a on a parlor or win money. Are you
- 10:44Speaker 1: telling me that you have to pay tax on that,
- 10:47Speaker 1: but you can't write your losing bets off?
- 10:49Speaker 2: Something does? Something sounds funny there?
- 10:50Speaker 1: But I'm sure that the courts are gonna upgrove that,
- 10:54Speaker 1: you know, to make it so you can write your
- 10:57Speaker 1: losses off.
- 10:58Speaker 2: Speaking of writing losses off there.
- 11:02Speaker 5: Oh, I see what you did. Okay, yeah, I see
- 11:05Speaker 5: what you did there. I see what you did.
- 11:07Speaker 4: Hey on that home run on the home run thing,
- 11:10Speaker 4: this is crazy. Well, I'll come back to poker, don't worry.
- 11:14Speaker 4: I always want to talk poker. I would do those
- 11:16Speaker 4: whole show on poker.
- 11:17Speaker 2: Sure, I'm I'm sure.
- 11:18Speaker 1: You want to get involved, you want to be on
- 11:19Speaker 1: one of these chat things. The years someone's win winning, you.
- 11:22Speaker 4: Know, well, how did How does the casino even sweat
- 11:27Speaker 4: a bet like that? I mean, Otani and Judge hit
- 11:30Speaker 4: fifty to sixty home runs in a season.
- 11:32Speaker 5: There's one hundred and sixty two games in this season, so.
- 11:35Speaker 4: You're already going to be wrong one hundred times a
- 11:38Speaker 4: year on an average right on that bet, just on
- 11:41Speaker 4: those two players. The odds on you being able to
- 11:43Speaker 4: hit a parlay that seven different people have to hit
- 11:46Speaker 4: a home run is insane, Like, like, why even sweat
- 11:50Speaker 4: that bet?
- 11:51Speaker 1: Yeah, just because cumulatively they won a couple million bucks
- 11:56Speaker 1: for you know, people betting ten and twenty dollars at
- 11:59Speaker 1: an equal to money in there say oh, we can't
- 12:01Speaker 1: do They don't realize the money they've won, and it's
- 12:03Speaker 1: going to be more than that number by the time
- 12:05Speaker 1: the dust settles. So, speaking of that, guys, boy, this
- 12:11Speaker 1: week's Wager Wire Segment one hundred and seventy eight dollars bet,
- 12:16Speaker 1: which I'll send to JHR producer.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Here to win over a million dollars.
- 12:21Speaker 1: So this guy's got a five leg parlay Florida to
- 12:24Speaker 1: win the nca NCAA basketball tournament, which he won, Okay
- 12:29Speaker 1: See to win, Edmonton to win he won those three.
- 12:33Speaker 2: Those three legs are in.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Now he's got the Yankees to win the AL and
- 12:38Speaker 1: Detroit to win the Super Bowl. One hundred and seventy
- 12:41Speaker 1: eight dollars to win over a million bucks. I to
- 12:45Speaker 1: be real, blunt wayger wire, I want to know about
- 12:50Speaker 1: this who's taken these kind of bets. That's amazing that
- 12:53Speaker 1: a book would take that bet, but I guess it's
- 12:55Speaker 1: such a long shot. But now, of course this guy
- 12:57Speaker 1: won the first three legs. So the original of about
- 13:01Speaker 1: five hundred and well, it's gotta be more than five
- 13:03Speaker 1: hundred and fifty nine dollars one I would think to
- 13:05Speaker 1: get a million dollars the current odds, the current bet value.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Let's use bet vue current bet value at twenty seven
- 13:12Speaker 1: five fifty four for that one hundred and seventy eight
- 13:15Speaker 1: dollars bet. It's a long way to go here, but
- 13:18Speaker 1: it's already valued at over twenty five k on one
- 13:21Speaker 1: hundred and seventy five dollars. Bet this has some very
- 13:24Speaker 1: serious legs here, and you combine this with the seven
- 13:28Speaker 1: figure payout, this might be an ideal Kennedy for one
- 13:31Speaker 1: of those partial sales sales.
- 13:33Speaker 2: You know.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Uh, if it were were me, I would look to
- 13:36Speaker 1: sell probably, Yeah, I probably look to sell a little
- 13:40Speaker 1: bit of this.
- 13:40Speaker 5: Of this one, I would I would definitely sell. I
- 13:45Speaker 5: would definitely sell that.
- 13:46Speaker 1: The Yanks to win the AL I don't know. Yanks
- 13:48Speaker 1: aren't playing that good, and I don't think that.
- 13:50Speaker 4: Yeah, that's not gonna happen. No, that's not gonna happen.
- 13:54Speaker 4: The Denver Broncos are going to win the Super Bowl.
- 13:56Speaker 4: I'm sure even Randy will back me up on that one, right, Randy.
- 13:59Speaker 6: Denver Bronco, you're not John, and they got a pretty
- 14:02Speaker 6: good defense.
- 14:03Speaker 3: We'll see what happened, sir. But I haven't previewed them yet,
- 14:06Speaker 3: so I'm hoping the VIK.
- 14:09Speaker 5: I'll make sure.
- 14:10Speaker 4: I'll make sure producer John clips this one up so
- 14:13Speaker 4: we can play it in January or February.
- 14:17Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I'm sure, I'm sure John uh Let can
- 14:23Speaker 1: can you let the viewers know because there is an
- 14:26Speaker 1: angry mob here and I'm calming them down. They yeah,
- 14:29Speaker 1: are you keeping everyone? I'm reading the guy who said,
- 14:32Speaker 1: what is John playing today? So you're not playing up today?
- 14:35Speaker 3: But tomorrow?
- 14:36Speaker 2: Can they go? Can they go to your Instagram? Where
- 14:39Speaker 2: can they go?
- 14:40Speaker 4: To?
- 14:40Speaker 2: Five?
- 14:40Speaker 4: I post when I play. I posted on my personal
- 14:44Speaker 4: instagram at John Orlando. I posted on Action Junkies Instagram,
- 14:49Speaker 4: which is Action Junkies Podcast. There's a link to Action
- 14:52Speaker 4: Junkies Instagram on my John Orlando Instagram page, and I
- 14:56Speaker 4: post updates, chip stacks everything. Uh, whenever I do play,
- 15:00Speaker 4: I'm playing tomorrow. I'm playing the Gladiators of Punker tomorrow.
- 15:04Speaker 4: And then we got the Mini main coming up, and
- 15:06Speaker 4: then we're gonna satellite into the Maine and that's where
- 15:08Speaker 4: we're gonna make the big money this year. Crack when
- 15:11Speaker 4: I satellite in the Maine and I run deep and
- 15:13Speaker 4: we final table that thing and we're chopping up a
- 15:15Speaker 4: million bucks being you, and we're gonna throw Randy a
- 15:17Speaker 4: little something just for good will.
- 15:19Speaker 2: All right, go on, mute, you got the back down noise?
- 15:22Speaker 5: Okay, fine, fine, it sounds good.
- 15:25Speaker 1: Damn yeah yeah, yeah, you want to make Yeah, the
- 15:28Speaker 1: rich Yet Richard, Randy Randy combine and sell me you
- 15:31Speaker 1: and maybe Fist combined.
- 15:32Speaker 2: I don't know about Fist got a lot of money.
- 15:35Speaker 1: Uh So anyway, I want to tell you guys something
- 15:38Speaker 1: else too. So New Jersey, New Jersey is going. They
- 15:42Speaker 1: were voting on to get twenty five percent tax up
- 15:45Speaker 1: online casinos and sportsbooks in Jersey. They settled in nineteen
- 15:49Speaker 1: point seventy five, up from around thirteen percent. So you know,
- 15:54Speaker 1: it's hard for any gaming board to rule in people
- 16:00Speaker 1: those favors when they're going for twenty five percent, or
- 16:02Speaker 1: in New York, fifty one percent of the money goes.
- 16:06Speaker 2: To the city and goes to the state. But I'm
- 16:08Speaker 2: seeing that here.
- 16:11Speaker 1: One one big thing, I just when I see these
- 16:15Speaker 1: numbers and see I had no idea that they were,
- 16:18Speaker 1: you know, even taking this kind of money. For some reason,
- 16:20Speaker 1: I thought Jersey was one of the lower tax states,
- 16:24Speaker 1: which I'm finding out. Maybe not one thing. I want
- 16:27Speaker 1: to tell you guys too. If you come out of
- 16:29Speaker 1: our on vacation, I want to tell you you got
- 16:31Speaker 1: to get over to that spear. I've seen multiple concerts
- 16:34Speaker 1: there now, the Eagles, multiple things there, the Wizard of Oz,
- 16:38Speaker 1: The movie's going to be shown there for a couple
- 16:40Speaker 1: of months, going to be there.
- 16:41Speaker 2: It's gonna be a residency.
- 16:43Speaker 1: I can't imagine how good that's going to be. With
- 16:47Speaker 1: three D, it's like coming at you. It's like really
- 16:50Speaker 1: really cool. I think how that's going to be presented
- 16:52Speaker 1: over there. So I'm looking forward to that. It's something
- 16:55Speaker 1: you could You can kill a couple of birds one
- 16:57Speaker 1: stone too. You can tell your wife, hey, I'm taking
- 16:59Speaker 1: you to a show, something that she'll enjoy, right than
- 17:01Speaker 1: standing in the sports book all the time. I was
- 17:05Speaker 1: a wise guy today on Twitter. I see that Joe
- 17:08Speaker 1: Asher is going to launch launch an independent sports book
- 17:12Speaker 1: in Nevada, and I don't know if he's having Nick
- 17:16Speaker 1: Bondonovich running or something. Must have more more, Well, it's
- 17:21Speaker 1: not more. He's not going to take anyone with a pulse.
- 17:23Speaker 1: I actually put a tweet up today said let me
- 17:25Speaker 1: know when the kiosk are going to be a get
- 17:27Speaker 1: the fake mustache ready, because you know Joe doesn't like
- 17:29Speaker 1: anyone that wins. Anyway, there there was I put a
- 17:34Speaker 1: tweet up about a cost to make a pizza and
- 17:36Speaker 1: the causes caused to start going over forty views. And
- 17:40Speaker 1: got about one hundred comments, and uh, here we are
- 17:44Speaker 1: at pizza place, but.
- 17:46Speaker 2: What do you think it can cost to make a pizza?
- 17:48Speaker 2: Three or four dollars?
- 17:49Speaker 1: So people were like, well, you they have to pay rent,
- 17:53Speaker 1: they have to pay that. Because I was more or
- 17:55Speaker 1: less saying that there's there's a few different places here that,
- 17:58Speaker 1: uh that charge sixty dollars for a pie on the
- 18:01Speaker 1: strip and people were like, oh my god, sixty dollars
- 18:04Speaker 1: for a pie. And I was like, yeah, that's crazy.
- 18:07Speaker 1: But some people stuck up for the pizza makers and said, way,
- 18:10Speaker 1: the rent to this, that the insurance the oven cost. Listen,
- 18:15Speaker 1: if doms can make it here at twenty five a
- 18:18Speaker 1: pie or a local joint can have specials nineteen dollars
- 18:21Speaker 1: a pie. I noticed places back home that had like
- 18:23Speaker 1: two slices of a soda for six bucks.
- 18:25Speaker 2: Though you know what I mean, like I just Vegas.
- 18:30Speaker 2: Just it's not just Vegas, so I know it's New York.
- 18:32Speaker 1: City, Miami, maybe La Just it's it's really a shakedown.
- 18:39Speaker 2: What they can get away with.
- 18:40Speaker 1: I never seen these kind of things as recently as
- 18:44Speaker 1: I see now prices of things. And I'm not trying
- 18:47Speaker 1: to be negative on Vegas. Listen, unbelievable to come out
- 18:50Speaker 1: of the pools and go to the Winds. Even though
- 18:53Speaker 1: they stopped me from playing video poker, I still talk
- 18:55Speaker 1: nice about the Wind.
- 18:56Speaker 2: The Wind's one of the nicest resorts in the world.
- 18:58Speaker 1: You're staying at a top Venetian, top place, beautiful place,
- 19:03Speaker 1: great pools. You know, we have great shows, great entertainment.
- 19:07Speaker 1: The entertainment here, the residencies, the sports betting, the sports books.
- 19:11Speaker 2: There's a lot of great things to come.
- 19:13Speaker 3: To Vegas for.
- 19:14Speaker 2: So I don't want to just sound a negative.
- 19:16Speaker 1: How about this guy that bet I was showing Randy,
- 19:20Speaker 1: How about this guy bet a million bucks?
- 19:22Speaker 2: John, one of your kind of guys eight million?
- 19:24Speaker 1: You bet eight million, eight million to win a million
- 19:28Speaker 1: dollars A one point one million by the way, on
- 19:31Speaker 1: the thunder. I mean, I can imagine a halftime. You
- 19:34Speaker 1: probably couldn't fit a little green pea up as you
- 19:37Speaker 1: know what. He must have been so scared to debt there. Yeah,
- 19:41Speaker 1: so he got nine point one four to two million.
- 19:44Speaker 1: But I mean, how if you have that kind of money,
- 19:47Speaker 1: what's a million dollars to Did you think it was
- 19:49Speaker 1: that gonna be that easy, that it went to Game seven.
- 19:53Speaker 1: You think it's an easy pickup, and like I said,
- 19:56Speaker 1: up until the halftime there really really scary though, John,
- 20:00Speaker 1: you got anything else to say? I'm sure the viewers
- 20:02Speaker 1: would be, Man, where's your studio? Which we love? Going
- 20:07Speaker 1: to the West Gate? Who wouldn't want to be in
- 20:09Speaker 1: a sports book? Live in a sports book? The sports
- 20:12Speaker 1: books don't allow people that you know, how many channels
- 20:15Speaker 1: you have to go through to film in a casino.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Everyone's paid to say no, we have the run of
- 20:21Speaker 2: the house. Go right to the West Gate filming the
- 20:23Speaker 2: super book. Are you kidding me? It's unbelievable. But uh,
- 20:27Speaker 2: we'll be back to your point.
- 20:29Speaker 5: To your point crack.
- 20:30Speaker 4: Uh that's the problem with the studio at the Palazzo
- 20:34Speaker 4: slash Venetian.
- 20:35Speaker 5: Uh, just corporate red tape.
- 20:37Speaker 4: They've been obviously shooting poker there and we hit a
- 20:40Speaker 4: little snag for that one.
- 20:42Speaker 5: Uh so we'll see how it plays out.
- 20:44Speaker 2: Very happy and for the guy, yeah, getting the chat.
- 20:47Speaker 2: We appreciate you watching.
- 20:48Speaker 1: And if that's your only takeaway from the show, is
- 20:50Speaker 1: that question? I don't know, Man, maybe you might want
- 20:54Speaker 1: to find a different joke.
- 20:56Speaker 4: Hey, you know, uh, maybe the viewers I guess the
- 21:01Speaker 4: viewers can't relate. But sometimes life is hard. You don't
- 21:04Speaker 4: get what you want when you want it, you know.
- 21:06Speaker 1: John, You know people think life is so easy. I
- 21:09Speaker 1: said it the other day. I said it on Visan.
- 21:12Speaker 1: I juggle a ten pound bag of crap and a
- 21:14Speaker 1: five pound bag every day. It's so hard to you know,
- 21:18Speaker 1: you keep all the there's so many futures to make.
- 21:20Speaker 1: You have to see if it's worth tying up your money.
- 21:23Speaker 1: For six months, eight months, I was down in hard
- 21:25Speaker 1: Rock down in Florida, and you know, like easily, there
- 21:29Speaker 1: was five figures, almost six figures in bets that were
- 21:33Speaker 1: advantage play. For some reason, Randy hard Rock in Florida
- 21:36Speaker 1: decides to put the futures up before anyone else. Season
- 21:39Speaker 1: wins futures like literally before anybody else, and then you
- 21:44Speaker 1: have the futures that come up here and the opportunities
- 21:46Speaker 1: that come up here season long props. There's been I
- 21:49Speaker 1: had like four or five futures already, and I'm trying
- 21:51Speaker 1: to bet max bets at so many different casinos here.
- 21:54Speaker 1: It's it's a lot of struggle and keeping things afloat,
- 21:57Speaker 1: trying to keep accounts good, don't get thrown out because
- 22:00Speaker 1: you know, and one thing you don't want to do.
- 22:02Speaker 1: You don't want to bet with local guys. You know,
- 22:05Speaker 1: people ask him crack, I don't see that line with
- 22:07Speaker 1: my local guy. You don't even want to bet with
- 22:09Speaker 1: a local guy a season future because six months from
- 22:12Speaker 1: now you could be dead.
- 22:13Speaker 2: He could be dead. He has excuses not to pay you.
- 22:15Speaker 1: You know, maybe you're uh, you know, you're putting the
- 22:18Speaker 1: play in that moves. There's so many reasons why not
- 22:21Speaker 1: the best season long props. You want to bet them
- 22:23Speaker 1: in a brick and mortar to sign credit.
- 22:25Speaker 2: Tying up credit. You don't want to well tie up credit.
- 22:27Speaker 2: You can actually probably ask.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Him, you know, to give you more credit because you
- 22:31Speaker 1: tied up something for a future.
- 22:32Speaker 2: But it's uh, it's not easy. It's not easy.
- 22:35Speaker 1: There's a lot of vices out here too, Vice central, drinking, drugs, women, gambling,
- 22:41Speaker 1: woman woman.
- 22:43Speaker 2: I mean, this is Randy. He got a new he's
- 22:44Speaker 2: gotta do, brought every week. It's unbelievable. But uh, now
- 22:48Speaker 2: now off the show.
- 22:49Speaker 3: This this thing.
- 22:50Speaker 2: He's kicking me under the table.
- 22:51Speaker 1: All right, Randy, calm down, but uh listen, guys, we'll
- 22:55Speaker 1: see you next week on Wise Cracks. Appreciate it, thanks
- 22:57Speaker 1: for following, watching, thanks for commenting. Sorry about just this week.
- 23:02Speaker 1: Uh you know when then we're not in the studio,
- 23:03Speaker 1: you can't hear us as good. What does it say
- 23:06Speaker 1: feeling lucky there, John, there's a lot of luck.
- 23:08Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, this is the lucky This is the lucky.
- 23:11Speaker 2: Poker hat Orlando Maximus Orlando. Thanks guys, to see you
