- 0:01Welcome to authentic living with Roxanne, a place where we have as conversations about
- 0:08things that really matter in our lives.
- 0:11And now here's your host, Roxanne Derhodge.
- 0:36Hi, everyone.
- 0:37It's, Roxanne Derhodge.
- 0:38Thanks for tuning in again today for authentically being a Roxanne.
- 0:42Today, I have a special guest something that blew me away, when I saw him perform for the
- 0:48first time, and this was at Forbes.
- 0:51This is Mia Pornacek, We were talking about this, and they screwed it up.
- 0:59Earlier, his his name, He blew me away when I was introduced to him at Forbes.
- 1:06He is a violinist that has had a path that been absolutely amazing, starting in his love and
- 1:14passion for music.
- 1:16He has played concerts halls throughout the world, and then decided with time that he was
- 1:22going to listen to his innate heart and created a space where he allows corporations and
- 1:28leaders to listen to the space of the violin and their masterpiece, and they construct what
- 1:35the space that they need to in order to tap into their unconscious space to create trust.
- 1:41So we had thanks so much for coming on today.
- 1:45Yes.
- 1:45Hello, Roxanne, and hello, your audience.
- 1:48What a pity.
- 1:49We are not interface, but we have to go through Yeah.
- 1:53Zoom, but that's the modern world.
- 1:56I'm very honored and very pleased that we have time now to talk about these issues.
- 2:01As you mentioned in your introduction, I have created quite different innovation that one
- 2:09thinks of usually when you say innovation, you think about new digital device.
- 2:14But what I do is I take something very old masterpieces of classical music, and I bring it
- 2:21in the center of observation for the leaders to learn from it, how to organize and how to lead
- 2:28the companies.
- 2:30The explosion of of creativity is fun.
- 2:33Yes.
- 2:33If there's a lot of back and forths, whereas if it's a strategic plan that's come mostly in
- 2:39your head, it's it just is it's work.
- 2:41It's not fund.
- 2:42It's not playful.
- 2:44Whereas from the artistic lens, when you're trying to clear away from the head and get to
- 2:49the heart, it is It can be chaotic, but it's also in its in its, I mean, it's madness.
- 2:57It it provides so much more.
- 2:59Yeah.
- 2:59It's man could call it fun, but it's more than fun.
- 3:03You know what?
- 3:03Even there are words are missing for these deep experiences.
- 3:07We don't have words.
- 3:08And it's good so because with words, we would kill it.
- 3:11So it's good, but it's important to know that when you are really connected with what you
- 3:15want to do, you are in another sphere of life.
- 3:19You are in our in your, you know, in your highest, possible expression, which feels you
- 3:27with, special kind of joy and and purpose.
- 3:30It's almost like I would say, like, you open up, you know, the crown chakra because you are
- 3:35so connected to the universal energy, and something happens.
- 3:39It's like when I was writing my first book, Meeha, I I don't feel like I know I was writing
- 3:46it, but then it came from a space that was bigger than me.
- 3:50Great.
- 3:51Great.
- 3:51I I honor it for that.
- 3:53Just let's go on.
- 3:54Now let's let's take this as a 22 realities.
- 3:58One reality here and the other reality here.
- 4:02Yeah?
- 4:04And in between, there is a gap.
- 4:05In other words, We all have this challenge in our lives.
- 4:11All all people who are awake and developing I'm not talking about early pensionists.
- 4:17You know, that's also there.
- 4:19Unfortunately, people do not have the chance of possibility to always develop to the last
- 4:24breath Yeah.
- 4:25But this reality one could say is on one hand, every day need, you know, basic needs basic
- 4:32needs.
- 4:34Eating, drinking, budgets, and all that.
- 4:36And I feel like goal, idealism, uniqueness, absolute inspiration, you know, also in mass
- 4:47network, we have that, you know, self realization and at the bottom is basic needs.
- 4:52Now we are Can we look about how these these years can come together in life and in
- 4:58leadership and in organization?
- 4:59Can we look at that?
- 5:05I was just last week, I was working online, unfortunately, because I was busy here.
- 5:11I couldn't to Barcelona.
- 5:13I was working with a company in Barcelona who only had their meeting there, but they came
- 5:20from all continents together, and they wanted to get one company because they are too many
- 5:27pulling different directions, 7 factories, and each has their agenda, and they feel like they
- 5:33they are not one global company.
- 5:35So I I chose the piece that you I think you heard when we had another session before.
- 5:42And this this masterpiece has a following motive.
- 5:56In here, below it says.
- 6:02It says like this.
- 6:10It's like a wave.
- 6:11Trying to reach for the moon, but the way it goes up and goes down.
- 6:15It's like trying, but not, you know, how many times in life, you know?
- 6:22And then it goes falls back in and then comes the answer from the highest very very fine,
- 6:32very gentle, but it says, don't give up one day.
- 6:35It will be there.
- 6:41From above, it says, don't give up.
- 6:45You're not ready yet, but try.
- 6:47Don't Stop trying, learn, try, you know, so it says, And of course, there is a gap.
- 6:58There is a gap.
- 6:59And this is everybody's life experience if people are alive, you know, that we yeah, we
- 7:04are stuck in everyday reality, and we would so much like to be the divine sphere of a divine
- 7:12ancestors.
- 7:13You know?
- 7:14So Now how does that develop?
- 7:16This little masterpiece shows a journey towards that high potential towards confidence and
- 7:23trust that we can do it.
- 7:25And I use this for this company so I can now comment to you so you will see in your audience
- 7:30how practical that can be such using a must.
- 7:34We will start we will start the the upper After 12 now, we'll start here.
- 7:49So this is the nucleus like the beginning, and then you will see how it evolves.
- 7:56However, important to keep in mind, this modem goes through the whole masterpiece, and there
- 8:02are others who call their fear and so on.
- 8:04But we will all recognize motive between below and above, like in human life, below and above.
- 8:10So let's go and see how it evolves.
- 8:49I'm sure it's lost you and lost many others because it's difficult to listen At the same
- 8:55time as it is beautiful, but also observe what is happening, right, because one just gets into
- 9:00the stream of music.
- 9:02But we can learn to be experiencing the stream of music and at the same time observing.
- 9:08This is how they operate.
- 9:11We are completely identified with you.
- 9:14At the same time, we are outside and observing to make sure we don't make mess.
- 9:18Yeah?
- 9:19So let's go once again.
- 9:20What happens?
- 9:37Can you hear the lower one says, do that.
- 9:41And the upper one says, no.
- 9:42No.
- 9:44And then he says, what?
- 9:47You must.
- 9:48Better not.
- 9:50But he has said so.
- 9:53Oh, no.
- 9:54Yeah.
- 9:54Can you hear these two spheres at the beginning are completely pulling in different directions?
- 10:00One says Okay.
- 10:07So I I say, like, marriage after 10 years.
- 10:16The company, but someone I said, look.
- 10:18This is, like, how you came together now.
- 10:21Everybody from another continent, another countries, another climate, another culture,
- 10:26another whatever, you are not one company.
- 10:29This is the beginning.
- 10:30So what happens?
- 10:31Did you listen?
- 10:37For a moment, there is something a rainbow that connects this this chaos.
- 10:44Yes?
- 10:45It's just like this.
- 10:50So it's like a gateway.
- 10:52This opens up connects.
- 10:54Connects is this.
- 10:55Yeah.
- 10:55So it connects and we can now go through through the gateway and see what is on the
- 11:01other side.
- 11:02I said, now you arrived to Barcelona.
- 11:03What's gonna happen now?
- 11:05Okay?
- 11:05That's good.
- 11:08By the way, at the end, I would play the 4 piece for for you and audience.
- 11:12But now we are going to chop it up in order to get familiar with the process with the quality.
- 11:18Yes?
- 11:19So go on.
- 11:52Now tell me, is now the quality not somewhat changed?
- 11:55Yes.
- 11:56Absolutely.
- 11:57Absolutely.
- 11:58Here, next level.
- 12:00So what is new?
- 12:01It starts like before, And now, it does not go on as at the beginning, but it says Oh, well,
- 12:15doesn't go this way.
- 12:16Let me try this way.
- 12:23In music, this is called modulation.
- 12:25So it goes if you think it was like this, but then it was this way.
- 12:30So Changing direction.
- 12:41And now You see, this is new.
- 12:56Suddenly emerges one direction.
- 13:00So like people from different places who don't know how to communicate.
- 13:05They decide to go this way.
- 13:08Yeah.
- 13:08This is his.
- 13:15Yeah.
- 13:15Can you hear me?
- 13:16It says like this.
- 13:21So there is three times direction when around it, things are growing.
- 13:28So it's not pulling apart.
- 13:30It's now going in the in the right direction.
- 13:32Yes.
- 13:33Growth.
- 13:33Everybody likes growth.
- 13:46Question at the top.
- 13:50The top is a question and and a zed it.
- 13:56What's the question?
- 13:58What's the question?
- 13:59When you decide to go together, what kind of new questions come out?
- 14:04And then what happens No.
- 14:31Did you notice?
- 14:32When it came to the top, suddenly it turns inwardly.
- 14:38When you have power power, there comes a moment where you have to turn inside.
- 14:44You cannot go anywhere outside.
- 14:46You come to the wall, so to say.
- 14:48Now the next step is because growth, you know, growth has limits.
- 14:52Sorry.
- 14:52But that's how it is.
- 14:54Most people don't believe that, but it does.
- 14:56Even in nature, we grow physically and over eighteen years old.
- 15:01Then we stop growing.
- 15:04We will be giants.
- 15:05We stop growing, and we start developing and developing means going in.
- 15:11So mute after the high point goes in.
- 15:26So this and this and this and this and this and then In the end, comes another gateway, and we
- 15:35go through.
- 15:39Yeah.
- 15:40What can I say?
- 15:41I try to project the experience when when super for Can you queue?
- 15:56Can you feel like resignation?
- 15:58I I call it the power of productive resignation.
- 16:02We must come to this moment in life, not just to resign, but proactively resigning, but you
- 16:09noticed there are things in me in us that are not acceptable.
- 16:15We have to transform them.
- 16:16We have to let go of them and then new gates open.
- 16:19So here we are.
- 16:20So what is the next stage Gateway.
- 17:05Well, you can notice it's still the same masterpiece same qualities, the same motive
- 17:12between below and above, except now it is completely in another place.
- 17:17It is now opposite on the beginning.
- 17:20Now it is really listening to each other and real dialogue.
- 17:25And that's what I told people in Barcelona now when you get to this point, change the program.
- 17:32You have too many PowerPoint privileges.
- 17:35Throw it out.
- 17:37Sit 1 in 1 and take 1 hour and then each other.
- 17:42What is your feeling about the things?
- 17:45Open to each other, and you will see the results.
- 17:47So now one says What is your problem?
- 17:55And they said, oh, I don't know.
- 17:59Try to tell me.
- 18:00I'm here for you.
- 18:04Okay.
- 18:05I'll try.
- 18:08So so go on.
- 18:12Oh, yeah.
- 18:13You notice there is now suddenly, this Does it look like a rose?
- 18:34Yes.
- 18:34It does.
- 18:36And get it out of that place.
- 18:39In other words, and it has a lot of light because there is listening, relistening makes
- 18:46it makes light appear.
- 18:49The light of the there's light.
- 18:53See, now we are in depths of conversation.
- 18:57And this critical moment for a group for a company so that they can get to the next stage
- 19:06that they first reopen up to each other.
- 19:09So let's go where it goes.
- 19:59You know what?
- 20:00We are now witnessing transformation.
- 20:03Suddenly, it is possible to switch the positions.
- 20:08What used to be always below, you know, trying to reach and what was above trying to bless.
- 20:17They are now switched over below is now above.
- 20:23The other one's below.
- 20:29You understand.
- 20:30So because of the intimacy and of the listening to each other, suddenly, transformation comes
- 20:37just naturally So what was below is now above.
- 20:43It was above.
- 20:45It's now below.
- 20:47Voila.
- 20:48So and where does that go?
- 21:45I don't know if it comes through the machine, but I tell you.
- 21:48Oh, it does.
- 21:49It's captivating when you when you deconstruct it and you show the whole piece.
- 21:54It's easy.
- 21:55Power that comes out of it.
- 21:56Why?
- 21:57Because it's not anymore below our power or the other.
- 22:00It's now jam they've joined into 1.
- 22:02They become one line, one line, and they come out of this with great force, no, as one.
- 22:13And then and then it breaks off.
- 22:22At a very high point, it's this.
- 22:28Nothing.
- 22:31It's not finished.
- 22:33But what does it mean to let go?
- 22:43Do you know the magic of letting go?
- 22:46It's easy to stay hard to do.
- 22:49But, you know, when people are fighting and so somebody says, come on.
- 22:53Let go.
- 22:55Let's let's come together on the next level.
- 22:58On this way, we will never, you know, letting go because then things if you let go at the
- 23:04zedith of your power, then things turn around that they start coming to you.
- 23:09You are not pushing for something.
- 23:11Things come to you.
- 23:13You are just there because you learned this inner motion of letting go said, that's what
- 23:18happened.
- 23:22And now We come back to the origin.
- 23:48The same multi once again from a distance but luminous with inwardness.
- 24:06Yes.
- 24:10And full of line, night, and line.
- 24:15So you see I told them, I said to them, if you do this, you will emerge out of your
- 24:22conversation with new strength.
- 24:24And then you go home.
- 24:26You fly to Columbia and to Florida and whatever you are, and you will be there.
- 24:33With your idea, original subject of music.
- 24:38Yeah.
- 24:39You do already you will be there full of confidence.
- 24:41We can do it.
- 24:42As one company, even if we are scattered around with different continents, we can do it because
- 24:48it comes back to this idea and nobody's pulling now.
- 24:51It's now just there.
- 24:53No.
- 24:53You hear the end.
- 25:10Very touching inner resonance of heart.
- 25:15You see these are stages.
- 25:161st, second, 3rd, 4th, 5.
- 25:205 changes with one same idea, same company goes through.
- 25:27And I tell you, they will never forget.
- 25:30In this case, when we had when we had one one line to sync this one direction, I made them
- 25:37sing because they were projected on a big screen in Barcelona.
- 25:41So I was really very strongly present even though on distance I could hear them sing with
- 25:46me.
- 25:46You know, when you get people really involved and they see it's not only about music and
- 25:52about themselves.
- 25:53It's about their challenge and solution.
- 25:55Then you don't forget because it's so different.
- 25:57It's productive people, I call it.
- 26:00Now in addition, if you look at this, What can you what can you discover?
- 26:05These are wounds.
- 26:08Yeah.
- 26:09Underground.
- 26:11These are stained and it leaves.
- 26:14This is a flower, and this is a fruit, and this is a seed for the next generation.
- 26:22You see, evolving plant life.
- 26:26A law of nature.
- 26:29I believe will art is always related to real nature because it's organic.
- 26:35It's meaningful.
- 26:36It's beautiful.
- 26:39Yeah.
- 26:40It is a static.
- 26:41It is so many things.
- 26:43And, you know, when you listen to great music, you all the time say inside, yes, Yes.
- 26:48Yes.
- 26:48Yes.
- 26:49You're you feel like it all makes sense.
- 26:51And look at the world today.
- 26:53How many things make sense today?
- 26:56Very few very few.
- 26:57Not not many.
- 26:58Not many.
- 26:58And what what wisdom, the collating or the comparison of nature to art, it, it is so true.
- 27:07It's organic.
- 27:08It evolves.
- 27:09It comes.
- 27:09It goes.
- 27:10It has its stages.
- 27:12I I love that that, that analogy.
- 27:16Don't you think that you should take organic principle as a guiding guiding light for
- 27:21organization.
- 27:23What about if organization would evolve in organic principle?
- 27:28Not only buying other organizations, eating them, you know, different cultures and then
- 27:32command controlling them.
- 27:34But instead growing organically, they say, We grow.
- 27:37We do not just buy everybody.
- 27:39Sometimes there is necessary merger.
- 27:41But organically, so people feel like they are part of organism.
- 27:46You know, it's a great feeling that you are not just there with your boss who tells you what to
- 27:52do and you tell the next ones what to do chain of command.
- 27:56This is military.
- 27:57This is, you know, old old paradigm.
- 27:59We have to find this flat organizations, Horizontal.
- 28:03So anyway, I will now play because we must now do it justice to music.
- 28:09So I will play this through, and I ask you, try to fear transitions transitions of the
- 28:16qualities of development.
- 28:19So this is the return.
- 31:45Amazing.
- 31:46Amazing.
- 31:47Thank you.
- 31:48Did you follow this then?
- 31:50Yes.
- 31:51Yeah.
- 31:54You see, Roxanne, if you start Recognizing qualities in art, then we start recognizing
- 32:02qualities in our fellow human being.
- 32:06Abs absolutely.
- 32:07I I completely agree.
- 32:09And I think, you know, you're touching of I'm gonna use the corporate card is something that
- 32:15allows them to listen in a, you know, in a, in a different way.
- 32:20Whereas, you know, when traditional organizational, consulting is mostly from the
- 32:27head.
- 32:28Hence, why that trajectory that she shared with us with that beautiful piece shows that that on
- 32:33unraveling, there's no space but to allow it to to to just transcend.
- 32:39Yeah.
- 32:39Who would you have to you are quite right.
- 32:42You started with the question of trust.
- 32:44You know, you mentioned trust in the beginning because trust is really trust is the most basic
- 32:49in any organization.
- 32:50I have to say the three things that I bought is trust, trust, and trust, and everything else
- 32:54comes after.
- 32:54So what I want to say is it then, look, if we start noticing uniqueness of every colleague
- 33:02and or human being and not noticing their double, you know, their their bad bad habits
- 33:08and all that because that's easy to see.
- 33:11We all have problems.
- 33:12Yes.
- 33:12But if we start looking for the qualities, Then our fellow human being notices that the
- 33:18immunity notice that you are really interested in them, not just how are you today?
- 33:22But, really, what is your problem?
- 33:24How can I help you?
- 33:25I'm listening to you.
- 33:26I want to know, you know, when they notice that, you know, what happens?
- 33:29Trust.
- 33:30People trust you because they feel like you are interested in them.
- 33:34Most corporate people are only able to see you think What can I get out of it?
- 33:39Out of this guy for me?
- 33:40What can I get out of it?
- 33:41You know, it's like going to conference and is the networking?
- 33:44Yes.
- 33:44What can I get out of it?
- 33:45You know, that is stinks.
- 33:48Yeah.
- 33:48It stinks.
- 33:48It's it's terrible because you notice that, and you don't want, you know, you keep them at bay.
- 33:52Yeah.
- 33:53Uh-uh.
- 33:54Absolutely.
- 33:55Absolutely.
- 33:57This is no goal in our time on this crisis.
- 34:03There is need for this step at this time.
- 34:05Even more, Meeha.
- 34:07And I hope that everybody that tuned in could care the space and experience the space.
- 34:13Like, I know this is the third time, I've heard you speak, and it it, it astounds me every time
- 34:19as I have to close my eyes just to take the breath of it in and I'm hoping that, for,
- 34:26leaders in their teams that people are that are tuned in today really take the experience in
- 34:31their heart and bring it with them.
- 34:34So we have, like, any last words before I have people go away and think about what what
- 34:41they've experienced today.
- 34:42What, what is it that you'd like to stay, and where can they get a hold of you so that they
- 34:46can get a bit more of what what they've experienced today?
- 34:49Well, look, if I would say something now, then it'd be like, what what can I get out of this?
- 34:54I would say nothing.
- 34:55You you ended so beautifully.
- 34:57I think your words set it all.
- 35:00So I'm pleased that we are in conversation in this way.
- 35:05And if somebody feels like this is valuable.
- 35:10They can reach out to me.
- 35:11We can talk.
- 35:12Thank you so much, Neeha.
