marketplace in you then like when we see you at the perfect nose, we

I got somebody for you. So it's a blessing to have people who have

been in your life in different capacities in the beginning. And now that that

shifted to something else in opacity that she's in now, she still has this

I'm a fan of you. So with her having that intentionality in any room

that she's in, it afforded me that opportunity and just kind of just just

being nice, you know what I'm saying, speaking being involved, supporting.

But it's a blessing to have that because people don't have that. Listen they

got this amazing opportunity. So the Majesty Classic is a celebration of Alabama State

University and Alabama A and yes they it's a whole week of festivity and this

year celebrating the fiftieth year of Hippop Baby Hill Hoop. Her but on that

stage and rocked it. Okay, like rocked it. Yes, Sage,

who else, star Face hit the stage, sugar Hill, Game hit the

stage, Logan the entertainer hit the stage. Man and t I of course

he was just you know, the king, you know what I'm saying,

But you know it, what an opportunity I never knew And shout out to

the Shuna skills because she was the master behind mind behind it and she's put

that even on four Classic for a while. And it was in Railroad Park

the year before, and it was a big thing. She had a major

artist and I believe it was Stokely and that that that next year, this

year was the opportunity. She was like, we going bigger. And who

would have known that she would have they would have been t I right,

But what a joy to do all of that when you really think, you

know it's gonna be people, you know, people gonna be outside and right,

but they say twenty thousand. I would have never imagined in many,

many, many meat years that I would be featured as an artist in front

of so many people. I've seen that many people before, but I was

a background vocalist. Will come on, I hope this is blessing somebody.

I hope you hear it before you hear it real talk. And it's not

that it's it's not an arrival thing, you know, but and I'm always

in my head with it. But you know that was my dad, well

in my mind, he popped up all the time in my head. He

always said that you know, God places people in your pathway to push you

placed in different places. And now that I'm mature enough to understand and in

hindsight, you know, we learned everything those opportunities afforded me. That was

preparation for that level, right, and now I feel like God has pushed

it to an the level where now it's a level another level of preparation.

So it's not a rival, like it's what it's work to do. But

in the meantime, I don't I don't negate those experiences. I just look

at it like building on building on building, And that opportunity there kind of

was like, okay, let's you know because you like that moment to see

you on that stage. For one, it was we're talking about your artistry.

You are to me, you're brilliant. Just listen if you pay attention,

attention, you get what I'm saying. And so like even watching that

particular moment and how for one you were you like, thank you be acting

brand what you've been You've been doing it and that's why they wanted you here.

And then ever since then I knew she was singing, and I knew.

Then we got to Martini's. Wow, and Martini's. At that point we

turned out had you know, the band was huge by there. It probably

called us an old earth Wind the five. It was about ten of us

on the stage for what but it was lit. It was lit. What

a time to be alive during that time. But we had we were afforded

so many opportunities. Everybody from Birmingham, everybody had a story. It was

just a great thing. So that's that's history. With that meshing like that

when it comes to Ryan and Justin and Precision and things like that, it's

different musicians that even when it come into kind of sitting or they've now become

fam as far as the band, even if you weren't playing before. So

it's it's history. It's people that want to do it's people that also love

the music, and it's people that got to go to church in the morning.

so powerful. So how do you come together? Like what are your expectations

as a leader for the musicianships and the creative to keep your keep your flock

I love that so nice. When it comes to leadership. First, of

saying, in the military, twenty years as a recruiter. I'm a now

recruiter or been a recruiter for eight years in banking industry. Wow. So

that's full circle, right. But in that that's the leadership that I saw

firsthand, of course, right getting into the music part of it, I

mean, I graduated from Bama in two thousand and six. All the time,

in two thousand and six from Bama, and during that time, I was

pledging it in two thousand and four, shout to the dust it what's so?

But I was pledging and then I tried out for a girl group and

Ruben was putting a girl group on. I already done auditions and things like

that, and I'm like, Okay, my mama, calm me, I

think you need to try one more time. No, ma'am, I do

not want to do that. And people told me, no, I can't

take that. No, right, I don't even know if I want to

do that. You know, I don't want to saying like that. I

don't know. She was like, just go one more time. Ruben's trying

out for a girl group. I tried out for that girl group. Ruben

hated it, he added me. He wouldn't lit that now, but I

won't say he hated. He was just you know, it was other people

there, and there was a young lady that liked what I had on and

see some industry things. First time being in the studio was at the you

some people who were producing for artists Jamie Fox Like did so it was just

what an experience. I went to Africa during that time a whole bunch of

times. Oh that was in time, we'll get to that, but it

was so much going on. I graduated in two thousand and six, and

my dad was like, Okay, we're so proud of you. You can
