- 0:06Speaker 1: If you haven't ordered it yet, read the book is
- 0:08Speaker 1: Confronting Evil. Phenomenal book. You can order it right now.
- 0:12Speaker 1: It's out. Also, you can watch the TV show the Column.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Everything is at Bill O'Reilly dot com. And make sure
- 0:18Speaker 1: you check out his YouTube channel, Bill O'Reilly on YouTube.
- 0:21Speaker 1: It's become a big, big, big channel. A lot of
- 0:24Speaker 1: great stuff there, Bill O'Reilly. How you doing.
- 0:27Speaker 2: You know, I'm tread and water here two weeks before
- 0:29Speaker 2: the vote? Right?
- 0:31Speaker 1: Uh yeah, not easy. Tell us about Washington, d C.
- 0:35Speaker 1: You spent a lot of time there last week. What
- 0:38Speaker 1: does it look like now? Is it different that the
- 0:40Speaker 1: Trump is guarding it?
- 0:42Speaker 2: Yeah, it's different in the sense that there's bulldozers all
- 0:45Speaker 2: over the White House, bulldoz and old thing down. I
- 0:52Speaker 2: have never been a big fan of the District of Columbia.
- 0:56Speaker 2: I think it's an artificial city, unlike New York, where
- 1:01Speaker 2: you know, real people live and people come here from
- 1:04Speaker 2: all over the world to succeed and get involved with
- 1:08Speaker 2: the neighborhoods from which they lived. Washington's not like that
- 1:13Speaker 2: most of these people work for the federal government or
- 1:17Speaker 2: some kind of a support system. There's not really defined neighborhoods,
- 1:21Speaker 2: like there's not an Italian neighborhood or a Greek neighborhood.
- 1:26Speaker 2: You don't have that. It's it's sterile. But we had
- 1:31Speaker 2: a lot to do down there. It was in the
- 1:32Speaker 2: White House twice. We did the Big three American Show,
- 1:37Speaker 2: which twenty three million people access that or part of
- 1:42Speaker 2: that program. It was a News Nation production which was phenomenal.
- 1:49Speaker 2: So we were really busy.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Yeah, and the new Kennedy Center looks good, looks very good,
- 1:54Speaker 1: doesn't it.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Yeah. I had been there a few years ago when
- 1:59Speaker 2: I shot The World and I gave an award to
- 2:02Speaker 2: Herbie Hancock, the Presidential Medal Award, which is what President
- 2:08Speaker 2: Trump was giving out, and the producer's CBS selected me
- 2:17Speaker 2: to do it. I think they just wanted to annoy
- 2:19Speaker 2: Barack Obama, who was in the audience and in and
- 2:24Speaker 2: as that I walked out. But Herbie had asked for
- 2:26Speaker 2: me because I've known him for a while. He's a
- 2:28Speaker 2: very funny guy. And it hasn't much changed. It's a
- 2:35Speaker 2: good place to go to see any exposition at all.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Yeah. Hey, the Trump is building a ballroom. It's something
- 2:42Speaker 1: that should have been done a long time ago, instead
- 2:43Speaker 1: of having these parties in a tent outside. And you
- 2:46Speaker 1: saw the rose garden. It's beautiful now with the beautiful
- 2:48Speaker 1: tile instead of standing on wet grass. Isn't it much nicer?
- 2:52Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, look, it's a matter of taste. I'm
- 2:54Speaker 2: a big traditional guy. Probably would have done a lesser footprint. Ye.
- 2:58Speaker 2: What I liked about the Rose Guard Harden was that
- 3:00Speaker 2: he put portraits of every president. Uh. I think he
- 3:05Speaker 2: had a little blanket over Biden and Obama, but he
- 3:09Speaker 2: is a portrait of everyone in the corridor going from
- 3:12Speaker 2: the residence to the oval office. Yeah, and it really
- 3:16Speaker 2: looked good and it was respectful to the past presidents.
- 3:21Speaker 2: But look, oh, it's a matter of taste. He's a
- 3:24Speaker 2: grandeur guy. He likes to make the big statement where
- 3:27Speaker 2: the big power in the world, and he wants, you know,
- 3:31Speaker 2: people to know it when they come into the White House.
- 3:33Speaker 2: That's what he's doing.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Yeah. Hey, the No Kings rally, most people were a
- 3:38Speaker 1: little surprised at how old the people were. It was
- 3:41Speaker 1: a very white crowd, very old. It was sponsored. They've
- 3:45Speaker 1: they've traced the money now of every oligarch put money
- 3:47Speaker 1: into this. What would you think of it?
- 3:50Speaker 2: I thought it was all right in this instan the
- 3:53Speaker 2: right to protest I respect, So I don't mind you
- 3:58Speaker 2: going out there to protest anything you want, as long
- 4:01Speaker 2: as you do it peacefully, which they did. I thought
- 4:04Speaker 2: that was impressive. I was up in Kingston, New York,
- 4:09Speaker 2: up on the Hudson, and they had a little rally there,
- 4:12Speaker 2: but it was like a big party up there. The
- 4:14Speaker 2: ice cream guys were there, and the kids are running around,
- 4:19Speaker 2: and there were not very many young people. They are
- 4:22Speaker 2: going to the football games, high school games and stuff
- 4:25Speaker 2: like that. It was mostly older hippies up in Kingston.
- 4:29Speaker 2: If you know that part of New York, Ryan Beck
- 4:32Speaker 2: and all that, a lot of hippies have moved up there,
- 4:35Speaker 2: and they, you know, they're like the quiet or whatever.
- 4:38Speaker 2: I don't know, but I didn't have any problem with
- 4:42Speaker 2: the no Kings protests itself. But I would ask people,
- 4:47Speaker 2: so what exactly are you protesting? And the ice thing
- 4:51Speaker 2: was the big thing.
- 4:52Speaker 1: They don't want.
- 4:53Speaker 2: They don't want immigration law enforced, and I think that
- 4:56Speaker 2: should be. You know, look, you can disagree policy, but
- 5:00Speaker 2: if you don't want immigration enforce and many, many of
- 5:04Speaker 2: these people do not want any enforcement of immigration law.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Then that should be known because that's a fairly radical position.
- 5:13Speaker 2: And I think that the people who sponsored it, if
- 5:16Speaker 2: you look at who put it together, they're all radical leftists.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Every single organization to pump money into that is way
- 5:23Speaker 2: way out there.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Yeah. Hey, the book Confronting Evil, big, big bestseller. Now everybody,
- 5:31Speaker 1: I know. The chapter they're talking about the most is
- 5:33Speaker 1: the Putin chapter. They realized they didn't realize what a
- 5:37Speaker 1: psychopath this guy is.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Yeah. I gave the book to President Trump on nine
- 5:43Speaker 2: to eleven when I was with him at Yankee Stadium,
- 5:45Speaker 2: and I got a nice letter from him yesterday, totally
- 5:49Speaker 2: out of the blue, saying, this is really an important book.
- 5:54Speaker 2: It goes into my collection. I've got a lot of
- 5:57Speaker 2: Trump stuff over the years. But it was a very
- 5:59Speaker 2: kind thing for him to do that, because he knows
- 6:01Speaker 2: any endorsement will help me in the book sales department.
- 6:07Speaker 2: But I think another chapter that is important is the
- 6:10Speaker 2: Henry the eighth chapter, because if you really want to
- 6:13Speaker 2: know about what kings two, Henry not going to be
- 6:18Speaker 2: any demonstrations, No, those head you know, you'll lose your
- 6:25Speaker 2: head quicker. And so the people out there, they don't
- 6:29Speaker 2: really know what the absolute monarchs did, and they just
- 6:33Speaker 2: kind of like along for the left wing ride, the
- 6:36Speaker 2: liberal ride. But the Putin chapter, I know the President
- 6:41Speaker 2: read it, and it is an important, obviously chapter because
- 6:46Speaker 2: Putin is the most dangerous man in the world right now.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Yeah, that Henry the eighth chapter. I can't even listen
- 6:52Speaker 1: to the Herman Hermit's song anymore.
- 6:54Speaker 2: He's what a guy? Oh boy? No, yeah, it's you
- 7:00Speaker 2: don't want to date Henry the eighth.
- 7:04Speaker 1: It's an amazing book, Confronting Evil. I think it's I
- 7:08Speaker 1: think it's the best book so far. But order it
- 7:10Speaker 1: you can. It's out Confronting Evil, and the TV show,
- 7:14Speaker 1: the column, everything is at Bill O'Reilly dot com. Hey,
- 7:16Speaker 1: we only got a minute left, mayor o race, what
- 7:19Speaker 1: do you.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Think it's man? He's going to win, unfortunately, and the
- 7:23Speaker 2: city will now pay a price to that, as everybody
- 7:26Speaker 2: who's sane pretty much knows. The good news to me
- 7:31Speaker 2: as a New Yorker is that HKO will lose next
- 7:34Speaker 2: year because she'll be attached to Mandani and when the
- 7:38Speaker 2: city goes south and it will quickly. Just a nine
- 7:42Speaker 2: to one one system itself. When you get in trouble,
- 7:44Speaker 2: you call it nine one one. Nobody's going to answer
- 7:46Speaker 2: your call. You're on your own. That's how bad it's
- 7:51Speaker 2: going to be. Garbage won't be picked up. You know
- 7:54Speaker 2: it's going to be, and it's going to happen fast.
- 7:58Speaker 2: So that'll all fall on home. She'll lose, and that's
- 8:02Speaker 2: what the state needs. You need to do leadership.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Yea, Well, thanks for cheering us up, but.
- 8:09Speaker 2: Well some people up.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, all we can put up with a freez.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Not not a popular governor, that's for sure.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Well, everybody, go to billoreilly dot com. You can get
- 8:19Speaker 1: the TV show, the column, that book. Everything is there,
- 8:22Speaker 1: and get the book Confronting Evil, and make sure you
