- 0:00Speaker 1: Scrubbing in with Beca Tilly and Tanya rad and iHeartRadio
- 0:04Speaker 1: and two times People's Choice Award winning podcast. Hello everyone,
- 0:14Speaker 1: we are scrubbing it.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Yep, all right.
- 0:21Speaker 3: Sometimes she sometimes she wants to say something. Sometimes she
- 0:23Speaker 3: doesn't know.
- 0:24Speaker 1: I decided I saw more scuttle button in the Facebook group,
- 0:27Speaker 1: and I decided I can't anymore more scuttle butt, more
- 0:31Speaker 1: scuttle About the intro, I was like, I just can't
- 0:34Speaker 1: know what I've realized.
- 0:35Speaker 3: But you don't know, doesn't hurt you?
- 0:38Speaker 2: Just a group I like going into.
- 0:40Speaker 3: But if I I mean just social media in general,
- 0:43Speaker 3: when it's something I read brings me down, I go
- 0:47Speaker 3: why I didn't need to know that.
- 0:49Speaker 1: I was like, you know, this isn't just this is
- 0:51Speaker 1: this is something I just I don't need. So if
- 0:53Speaker 1: everybody prefers it this way, fine by me.
- 0:56Speaker 3: Okay, great. It hasn't been long since our last podcast,
- 1:02Speaker 3: but Mark is back.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Hi, Mark is back, Welcome.
- 1:05Speaker 4: Back to the podcast. Thank you so much is gone.
- 1:08Speaker 3: But one thing about us, we keep trucking.
- 1:11Speaker 2: That we do.
- 1:12Speaker 1: You don't have a podcast for eight years if you
- 1:14Speaker 1: don't keep trucking.
- 1:16Speaker 2: I'll say it again, say it again.
- 1:20Speaker 3: You say it again. You don't have a podcast.
- 1:23Speaker 2: If you don't keep trucking right yours?
- 1:25Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, speaking of Lady World, happened this weekend?
- 1:29Speaker 4: It did?
- 1:30Speaker 2: Did you text them?
- 1:31Speaker 3: I don't have that relationship with them. I mean I
- 1:34Speaker 3: did comment on their stuff. I did comment on the
- 1:38Speaker 3: Lady Gang. The Lady Gang put on what I can't
- 1:40Speaker 3: even imagine how stressful and overwhelming and how.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Much work that took.
- 1:45Speaker 3: I was blown away. It was literally like a festival.
- 1:49Speaker 2: It was. It was a festival for podcasts.
- 1:51Speaker 3: It was incredible. We didn't get invited to be a part,
- 1:54Speaker 3: but you know what, sometimes you support. Sometimes it's nice
- 1:57Speaker 3: to support from afar.
- 1:58Speaker 2: I was sad we were not invited.
- 2:02Speaker 1: However, it did not deter my support and enthusiasm for them.
- 2:07Speaker 1: I was like liking everything. I sent them all a
- 2:08Speaker 1: text saying good luck this weekend.
- 2:10Speaker 3: You know what it made? It made me go like it.
- 2:13Speaker 3: I just feel like they've been such an og podcast
- 2:16Speaker 3: for so long, and I felt this sense of pride
- 2:21Speaker 3: that these incredible women that were friends with do that
- 2:24Speaker 3: on this like full on weekend long festival.
- 2:28Speaker 1: I know, And like, I don't know if you saw
- 2:30Speaker 1: Mark probably didn't say this.
- 2:33Speaker 3: I'm gonna guess.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Kelty ran a portion where they basically like wrote down
- 2:37Speaker 1: things that they wanted to get rid of, and then
- 2:39Speaker 1: they all walked into the water while she was playing
- 2:41Speaker 1: All too Well the ten minute Taylor's version and like
- 2:44Speaker 1: and like release them into the ocean, and she was
- 2:46Speaker 1: ps it was biodegradable water or about credible paper, so like,
- 2:49Speaker 1: don't get on me, I didn't litter or whatever. And
- 2:51Speaker 1: I was like, that is so Tanya coated, like I
- 2:53Speaker 1: would love that, just seeing like a sea of women
- 2:56Speaker 1: walking into the ocean releasing the things that do not
- 2:58Speaker 1: serve them.
- 2:58Speaker 3: I was like, oh, I thought the manifestation portion was
- 3:03Speaker 3: very you. Yeah, but they had podcast guests, they had
- 3:06Speaker 3: musical guests like Otown performs, Yeah, who else? Kaitlin performed,
- 3:12Speaker 3: Kaylin Bristow performed like live for the first time. Yeah,
- 3:15Speaker 3: I think at least in a crowd, a huge crowd.
- 3:18Speaker 2: Huge crowd.
- 3:20Speaker 1: So we just want to give it up for our girls,
- 3:22Speaker 1: our girls, Kalti, Becca and Jack.
- 3:25Speaker 2: We love you, keep on going girls.
- 3:28Speaker 3: It was. It looked incredible and I would love to
- 3:31Speaker 3: have them on to talk about it because I can't
- 3:33Speaker 3: even imagine what went into that.
- 3:36Speaker 1: I'm sure they need to put their feet up for
- 3:37Speaker 1: a minute, but we'll give them some time. We give
- 3:40Speaker 1: them some time and not too much time, no, because.
- 3:42Speaker 3: We need we need the the nitty gritty. Yeah, what'd
- 3:46Speaker 3: you do this weekend? Speaking of.
- 3:50Speaker 2: Tended this little wedding.
- 3:52Speaker 3: That was wedding that happened.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Uh No, but I went to Selena Gomez and Benny
- 3:58Speaker 1: Blanco's wedding.
- 4:00Speaker 3: Can I ask a questions? Yes, so you get invited
- 4:03Speaker 3: to that?
- 4:04Speaker 2: Yes?
- 4:05Speaker 3: Was it casual? Did you get an invitation?
- 4:07Speaker 5: Like?
- 4:08Speaker 3: What was the process? And did you think you were
- 4:10Speaker 3: going to get invited?
- 4:12Speaker 1: I did not think that I was going to get invited,
- 4:18Speaker 1: but I think it was a different type of invites
- 4:21Speaker 1: because they were everything was kind of kept. So I
- 4:24Speaker 1: honestly have I don't even know where I went so
- 4:28Speaker 1: like that location.
- 4:29Speaker 2: No, I have no idea. I just knew when to
- 4:31Speaker 2: get on the shuttle and where do you know what
- 4:33Speaker 2: I mean?
- 4:34Speaker 5: So did they put over your head like I could have.
- 4:40Speaker 1: I could have known where I was, But at that point,
- 4:42Speaker 1: it's just like I don't care, do you know what
- 4:44Speaker 1: I mean? Like I'm yeah, like I just show up,
- 4:48Speaker 1: get on this shuttle. And it's going to take me
- 4:49Speaker 1: where I need to go. That's all I need to know.
- 4:52Speaker 1: But I think the thing that we can all appreciate,
- 4:58Speaker 1: especially about Selena Gomez, is how vulnerable and open she's
- 5:04Speaker 1: been her entire life, and so getting to see just
- 5:10Speaker 1: how happy and joyful and love filled she and Benny are,
- 5:18Speaker 1: it's like it just feels so nice, you know what
- 5:22Speaker 1: I mean.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Like it's just I feel.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Like every wedding you feel that you feel the love
- 5:26Speaker 1: in the room and you feel this energy, but I
- 5:28Speaker 1: feel like with her, it just hits different. And so
- 5:33Speaker 1: it was just really beautiful to see. I mean, like
- 5:36Speaker 1: they were just smiling the whole time, like it was
- 5:38Speaker 1: just it.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Was a real life fairy tale.
- 5:40Speaker 1: I feel like people have been saying like it was
- 5:42Speaker 1: a fairy tale, and it really just felt like that.
- 5:45Speaker 3: I really feel like people have been rooting for her
- 5:48Speaker 3: so much, like not only in her love life, but
- 5:50Speaker 3: just in general, her career, her personal life, her wellness, everything,
- 5:55Speaker 3: And so I think people are so excited to see
- 5:58Speaker 3: her with someone who like adores her.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Yeah, and that's the thing, Like he adores her, you
- 6:07Speaker 1: know what I mean, and she adores him, yeah, And
- 6:09Speaker 1: it's that's just that's that's the goal, do you know
- 6:12Speaker 1: what I mean, Like, that's that's what you want. And
- 6:14Speaker 1: so anyways, I didn't talk about obviously, I didn't talk
- 6:17Speaker 1: about being invited before the wedding because I didn't want to.
- 6:19Speaker 1: I mean, they were trying to keep it under wraps.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Although it was not under wraps, I feel like I
- 6:23Speaker 1: was just seeing it everywhere, and out of like respect
- 6:27Speaker 1: for them as a couple, I also don't want to
- 6:30Speaker 1: like share intimate details because I feel like, when it's
- 6:33Speaker 1: your wedding, you want to be able to share that
- 6:35Speaker 1: when you want, how you want, you know what.
- 6:37Speaker 3: I mean, Come on, we don't want to take the
- 6:41Speaker 3: stage away from her. But it's well anytime, yeah, anytime.
- 6:45Speaker 1: So that's why it's like, I don't, you know, I
- 6:47Speaker 1: don't want to share the intimate details because I feel
- 6:51Speaker 1: like that's on that's on them as a couple. But
- 6:54Speaker 1: it was really really fun, like just so much fun
- 6:58Speaker 1: and uh, just so much love in the room, Like
- 7:02Speaker 1: everybody was just happy. And I love weddings and this
- 7:06Speaker 1: wedding was epic.
- 7:08Speaker 3: Were you on the shuttle with anyone, Like, were you like,
- 7:11Speaker 3: oh my gosh, they're so and so in the shuttle.
- 7:13Speaker 2: No, oh really? Uhuh the shuttles were smaller, like smaller shuttles.
- 7:17Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, so the shuttles. But you were with Paulina
- 7:20Speaker 3: and Sophia. Yes, correct, So you weren't just like a
- 7:22Speaker 3: lone ranger going into this correct. Correct.
- 7:25Speaker 5: Oh, Robbie wasn't there.
- 7:26Speaker 2: No, I was like a girl's weekend. Oh I know that, Yeah,
- 7:29Speaker 2: you were.
- 7:29Speaker 3: It was in southern California. Correct, They announced that, so
- 7:32Speaker 3: knew you knew where you were in that regard.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, And like that's the thing.
- 7:36Speaker 1: I if I wanted to, I could have watched the
- 7:39Speaker 1: road and known where I.
- 7:41Speaker 3: Was going, But I just I don't think I would know.
- 7:44Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what.
- 7:45Speaker 1: You do when you go to a wedding and there's shuttles.
- 7:47Speaker 1: You just get on the shuttle trust that you're going.
- 7:50Speaker 3: Yeah, so you get into the wedding. Did you see
- 7:53Speaker 3: Was it like celebrities everywhere? Was it like people? Was
- 7:55Speaker 3: it just like friends and family that people that you
- 7:58Speaker 3: didn't recognize.
- 8:00Speaker 1: I mean, there was definitely a lot of people I recognized,
- 8:01Speaker 1: but then there's a lot of people that I didn't recognize.
- 8:04Speaker 3: It was big yeah, yeah, Okay, yeah, that's really cool.
- 8:08Speaker 3: I know, who are the big ones?
- 8:10Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 8:11Speaker 3: Back up, I don't know some of them. And you
- 8:14Speaker 3: just see, let me know if you can we.
- 8:15Speaker 5: Talk about what we talked about this morning or no.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean there was one big one that I
- 8:21Speaker 1: spoke to.
- 8:22Speaker 5: You've had a moment with this person, and now Tanya
- 8:25Speaker 5: has had a moment with this person.
- 8:28Speaker 2: But I'll tell you about it when we come back.
- 8:31Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, an early break.
- 8:33Speaker 4: It works though, all right, we're back.
- 8:55Speaker 3: So it's it's kind of hard to imagine there being
- 8:58Speaker 3: celebrities bigger. I mean, you think about Selena Gomez is like,
- 9:04Speaker 3: isn't she the most followed person on Instagram or something
- 9:06Speaker 3: that doesn't refer at a certain point.
- 9:08Speaker 2: She's up there. I don't know, but.
- 9:10Speaker 3: I mean, she herself is massive. So obviously the people
- 9:13Speaker 3: invited to such an event are the heavy hitters.
- 9:17Speaker 5: Yes, just so you know, it's all soccer players right now.
- 9:19Speaker 5: Number one Ronaldo.
- 9:22Speaker 2: That's what I was saying. I don't think she's number one.
- 9:24Speaker 5: But then Lionel Messi then Selena.
- 9:26Speaker 3: Go see, I knew she was up there. Three's pretty impressive. Okay.
- 9:29Speaker 3: Some of the people included Steve Martin just apot him
- 9:32Speaker 3: in the crowd.
- 9:35Speaker 2: Yes, yes, these are all reported to be there.
- 9:38Speaker 3: So I'm asking if you saw them.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I definitely there was somebody there. I saw them.
- 9:42Speaker 2: It wasn't like oh that big Oh yeah.
- 9:45Speaker 5: Did you have a moment with Steve Martin or no?
- 9:47Speaker 2: No cheering?
- 9:49Speaker 5: Yeah, what about Paul Did you have a moment with
- 9:52Speaker 5: Paul rud No moment with that cheering?
- 9:55Speaker 3: Uh?
- 9:55Speaker 2: No, Camilla?
- 9:57Speaker 3: You know Camilla? Did you say did you say hello
- 9:59Speaker 3: to her? Okay? Yes, cfs.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:01Speaker 3: It's always funny when you go to events with Tanya
- 10:04Speaker 3: and the people that run up to her and say hey,
- 10:06Speaker 3: and it's just casual and you're just standing there like okay.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Huh, well like a Camilla I've known forever.
- 10:13Speaker 2: I've literally known her since she was like fifteen or something.
- 10:16Speaker 3: It's just like a young teen so crazy Taylor Swift.
- 10:22Speaker 2: Yes, Yes, in fact I did.
- 10:26Speaker 1: And so again in these settings, I feel as though
- 10:33Speaker 1: I just want to, like you just want to respect everybody,
- 10:36Speaker 1: their their space, their space, do your own thing. She's
- 10:40Speaker 1: a guest, She's a very.
- 10:42Speaker 2: Prominent guest, like letter, you know.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Somehow Paulina becomes friends with her in this brief window
- 10:50Speaker 1: of time and we're just like casually walking by her.
- 10:54Speaker 1: And so Paulina was the one that was like, oh, Taylor,
- 10:56Speaker 1: you have to meet my best friend.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Tanya's only walking by.
- 10:58Speaker 3: You're not casually walking by Taylor Swift talking to Paulina.
- 11:02Speaker 1: No no, no no, I'm with Paulina and we will
- 11:05Speaker 1: walk by Taylor.
- 11:07Speaker 2: Does that make sense? So they had already met, they
- 11:10Speaker 2: had already messed.
- 11:10Speaker 5: Was what was Taylor doing?
- 11:12Speaker 2: I don't know. She was just like walking somewhere.
- 11:14Speaker 1: I'm getting to the dance lord, because that's where we
- 11:15Speaker 1: were going, and she goes, this is my best friend, Tonna.
- 11:19Speaker 1: She walked down the aisle to one of your songs
- 11:22Speaker 1: and I was like, well, actually it was my first
- 11:23Speaker 1: dance and.
- 11:24Speaker 2: I walked down the aisle to it.
- 11:29Speaker 1: And again I'm so calm, Like I'm just like trying
- 11:32Speaker 1: to be calm because I love her, but also I'm
- 11:34Speaker 1: trying to be respectful.
- 11:35Speaker 3: Right.
- 11:37Speaker 1: She was so kind, She like loved it. She asked
- 11:42Speaker 1: me what song and she was like that means so much.
- 11:47Speaker 1: I cannot explain to you how magical, regal, genuine, present,
- 11:56Speaker 1: locked in, I know, invested and normal I was like,
- 12:03Speaker 1: this is the craziest thing, like the craziest experience, Like
- 12:07Speaker 1: I had to let her think in I did see it,
- 12:09Speaker 1: and I audibly gasped like.
- 12:13Speaker 5: Can we hear what that sounded?
- 12:14Speaker 3: Like that's pretty mild for you.
- 12:21Speaker 1: And Sophia were like, I'm so proud of like how
- 12:25Speaker 1: cool and calm you were. And I was like, at
- 12:27Speaker 1: the end of the day, like you're a business woman,
- 12:30Speaker 1: I'm a business woman, and I because I was like
- 12:32Speaker 1: I could go on and on and tell her how
- 12:34Speaker 1: much her songs have meant to me in the past,
- 12:36Speaker 1: how many hours I've spent crying to her music, how
- 12:39Speaker 1: many songs got me through breakups.
- 12:41Speaker 2: Like I could have gone down a deep.
- 12:44Speaker 1: Deep lore for her, and I chose not to, because
- 12:48Speaker 1: again she just here and enjoying her friend's wedding. Yeah,
- 12:53Speaker 1: but I will say she's a magical unicorn of a
- 12:57Speaker 1: human being and I'll never forget it.
- 13:00Speaker 5: It's so interesting because she's got to be the most
- 13:04Speaker 5: famous famous person in the world. It has to be
- 13:09Speaker 5: King Charles, like, I'm trying to think of anyone who
- 13:12Speaker 5: would be at her level of known I guess, but
- 13:15Speaker 5: I'm even thinking beyond pop culture is there anyone in
- 13:18Speaker 5: the world more known than Taylor Swift?
- 13:20Speaker 3: I guess.
- 13:23Speaker 5: Saidel lionel Messi. And she's a billionaire, and so it's
- 13:27Speaker 5: so interesting to have that combination and just be like, hey,
- 13:30Speaker 5: how's going, Like I don't know, I don't know what
- 13:31Speaker 5: that would do to a person, but I guess it
- 13:33Speaker 5: hasn't done it to her.
- 13:34Speaker 1: I mean, I guess yeah, because she was just so
- 13:39Speaker 1: a present is like the best way to describe it.
- 13:41Speaker 3: Because I said that I described that way too, because
- 13:44Speaker 3: you don't you would expect her to kind of be
- 13:46Speaker 3: like head on a swivel, where's my security?
- 13:51Speaker 2: Especially when I was like but no, like at all,
- 13:57Speaker 2: just and just genuine.
- 14:00Speaker 1: There's not a there is not one bone of inauthenticity
- 14:05Speaker 1: in her.
- 14:07Speaker 3: It's what it's what separates her into her own category.
- 14:11Speaker 2: She makes me want to be a better person. Like
- 14:13Speaker 2: I'm not even joking. I left that conversation.
- 14:18Speaker 1: I left that conversation being like wow, like I want
- 14:21Speaker 1: to make people feel like that, do you know what
- 14:23Speaker 1: I mean?
- 14:23Speaker 2: You like when I'm talking to.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Them, like really engage and talk like I think sometimes
- 14:28Speaker 1: I can look at my phone or.
- 14:30Speaker 3: Like, yeah, that's what you were at the bar. I mean,
- 14:32Speaker 3: my first impression of you was not who I know
- 14:35Speaker 3: you to be, because you were just like who else
- 14:37Speaker 3: is coming? Don't care about her?
- 14:42Speaker 2: No, she would not, she would not like.
- 14:46Speaker 3: I genuinely feel like you make people feel that way.
- 14:50Speaker 1: She made me want to be a better person in
- 14:52Speaker 1: that brief encounters. So moving forward, you will see a
- 14:57Speaker 1: more locked in present Tanya.
- 15:01Speaker 5: Was she taller or shorter than you expected?
- 15:04Speaker 2: She was exactly what I expected, but taller than you?
- 15:07Speaker 5: Yes, yes, okay substantially.
- 15:09Speaker 2: Well, my heels were quite I would imagine would.
- 15:12Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah, okay, yeah, but she was exactly what
- 15:15Speaker 3: I remember feeling like she was smaller than I like,
- 15:18Speaker 3: I felt like she was taller in my head. She's tall,
- 15:22Speaker 3: but she wasn't as tall as she was in my head.
- 15:24Speaker 2: Oh really yeah? Yeah, she was exactly how I exactly
- 15:28Speaker 2: how I pictured her.
- 15:32Speaker 3: How was her hair down or up?
- 15:35Speaker 4: I don't know?
- 15:35Speaker 3: Oh my god, I know.
- 15:36Speaker 2: If people keep asking me, like what did everybody wear?
- 15:38Speaker 2: I literally have no.
- 15:41Speaker 1: I literally couldn't tell you. Well, I know what she
- 15:44Speaker 1: was wearing, but I don't want to share her because
- 15:46Speaker 1: it's like.
- 15:46Speaker 3: That's like we'll see pictures if they yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 15:49Speaker 3: did did y'all dance together?
- 15:51Speaker 2: I would say no, I don't wouldn't say it was like,
- 15:58Speaker 2: could you imagine? I'm just trying to be respectful of people.
- 16:02Speaker 3: I really appreciate you sharing and also being respectful to
- 16:06Speaker 3: the to the people's privacy.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 16:08Speaker 1: I mean, and that's the thing, Like Taylor is super
- 16:12Speaker 1: private and I respect that. It's like, I mean, I'm
- 16:16Speaker 1: just like a changed human being from that experience.
- 16:18Speaker 3: I need a yes or no question. It's reported people
- 16:21Speaker 3: reported that Taylor and Ed both gave speeches. Did you
- 16:24Speaker 3: hear the speeches?
- 16:26Speaker 2: Well, I cannot confirm her.
- 16:28Speaker 5: Sounds like she would have just hypothetically, if it's a
- 16:31Speaker 5: smaller wedding, she would have heard.
- 16:33Speaker 3: That you were there for that part. Let's go with that. Well,
- 16:40Speaker 3: her new album does come out this weekend.
- 16:43Speaker 2: It's just so serendipitous.
- 16:45Speaker 3: Yeah, any details coming out a couple of days.
- 16:52Speaker 5: You could have said to her, knowing that I'm a
- 16:54Speaker 5: massive invisible string fan, what is my favorite song going
- 16:57Speaker 5: to be off the album? That would have been a
- 16:59Speaker 5: good question.
- 16:59Speaker 1: I know, I know in hindsight, there was many things
- 17:03Speaker 1: I wish I would have shared, But I think it
- 17:06Speaker 1: was better.
- 17:07Speaker 2: That I collected myself.
- 17:10Speaker 3: Was when you told Robbie about meeting her, was he like,
- 17:13Speaker 3: did he care that he missed that opportunity? No, he was.
- 17:17Speaker 2: So happy for me. Oh my gosh. She was so
- 17:21Speaker 2: cute about it. Oh yeah, really really cute.
- 17:23Speaker 3: I mean it's so iconic. Yeah, it's amazing. Can see
- 17:27Speaker 3: her ring kept close.
- 17:28Speaker 2: I just can't like, it's just.
- 17:30Speaker 3: Well, I'm so happy for Selene. Selena looked like an angel.
- 17:35Speaker 2: Yes, not even angel.
- 17:37Speaker 1: It was like a theory out of this world, like
- 17:39Speaker 1: she really she looked so so good.
- 17:43Speaker 3: Yeah, she looked amazing.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Happiness and love. Uh look good on people, you know.
- 17:49Speaker 3: Hmm, that's good.
- 17:51Speaker 1: Makes you blow from the inside out, that's it. That's
- 17:53Speaker 1: a that's a that's a look. That's priceless, you know.
- 17:56Speaker 3: Yeah yeah yeah, I can't put it. Can't put a
- 17:58Speaker 3: price on that. No, Wow, so pretty epic. We can.
- 18:02Speaker 2: Yeah. So I'm gonna retire.
- 18:04Speaker 3: Okay, So her album is coming out this week. I
- 18:07Speaker 3: feel like it would be. I've really been revisiting the
- 18:10Speaker 3: Midnights album Interesting.
- 18:13Speaker 2: I've been going back to Red.
- 18:14Speaker 3: Interesting. That's a nice fall intro. Red is a fall
- 18:18Speaker 3: intro album for some reason. I feel like Midnights we
- 18:22Speaker 3: kind of just moved on too fast because we got
- 18:25Speaker 3: it in the w Is that because we got it
- 18:27Speaker 3: in the fall of twenty twenty two and then twenty
- 18:31Speaker 3: twenty three she released Tortured Poets Apartment.
- 18:36Speaker 2: Yeah, so it just felt like rushed.
- 18:39Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 18:39Speaker 2: Yeah, so.
- 18:42Speaker 3: I'm really excited about this album. I would like to
- 18:46Speaker 3: predict what we think our favorite song is gonna because
- 18:49Speaker 3: I think we did that for Tortured Poets Department, and
- 18:53Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 18:53Speaker 2: How accurate we were, Okay, but I'm just.
- 18:59Speaker 3: Gonna simply off of if I like the title or not.
- 19:03Speaker 3: Oh wow, Okay, I think Oldest Daughter is gonna be
- 19:08Speaker 3: It's track number five, So something tells me I'm gonna
- 19:12Speaker 3: like that one interesting and weirdly, I feel like Honey
- 19:18Speaker 3: Honey is gonna be one that I love.
- 19:19Speaker 1: M So I think The Life of a show Girl
- 19:22Speaker 1: is gonna be my favorite first of all featuring Sabrina,
- 19:25Speaker 1: and second of all, my favorite song on the Tortured
- 19:28Speaker 1: Poets Department was the Tortured Poets Department.
- 19:31Speaker 3: There's no way, Yeah, that's your favorite song on the
- 19:33Speaker 3: Torture Poets Department.
- 19:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I love it. Don't Sleep On It. No, I
- 19:37Speaker 1: love that album Don't Sleep on It? Okay, So I tend.
- 19:41Speaker 2: To like the title.
- 19:42Speaker 5: Oh sorry.
- 19:43Speaker 2: Read is also my favorite song on off Red Wow, yes,
- 19:48Speaker 2: not all too well no Red?
- 19:50Speaker 3: Oh okay, okay, So.
- 19:52Speaker 2: I think that it's a strong contender for my favorite.
- 19:55Speaker 3: Okay, it's gonna be poppy or yeah, poppy okay.
- 20:01Speaker 2: And I also think I'm gonna like ruin the friendship.
- 20:04Speaker 3: Hmmmm, it sounds like a revenge type of song. Or
- 20:08Speaker 3: do you think it's gonna be a sad song?
- 20:10Speaker 1: I think it's gonna be a like a like a
- 20:12Speaker 1: Oh I like someone that's my friend, but I don't
- 20:16Speaker 1: want to ruin the friendship. Oh, you're thinking it's that
- 20:20Speaker 1: and not the Blake Lively distract, Like, Yeah, I don't
- 20:24Speaker 1: think it's gonna be that.
- 20:25Speaker 2: I think everybody's just saying that. I think it's gonna
- 20:27Speaker 2: be like.
- 20:27Speaker 3: Oh, I haven't even thought of another way of looking.
- 20:30Speaker 1: I think it's gonna be like I like you, but
- 20:32Speaker 1: I don't like you, but I don't want to ruin our friendship.
- 20:34Speaker 2: Should I ruin our friendship? Or should I like not?
- 20:36Speaker 3: I love that thing. I like that better than a
- 20:39Speaker 3: ruined friendship. Yeah, it's more like not so revengeful. Yeah,
- 20:46Speaker 3: I also think is it opal lte? Is that how
- 20:49Speaker 3: you say that?
- 20:50Speaker 5: True?
- 20:50Speaker 3: I think I'm gonna like that one. It's feeling cool.
- 20:55Speaker 5: I'm concerned about canceled with the exclamation usually a red flag.
- 20:59Speaker 2: It's giving me or Florida or Florida Florida.
- 21:03Speaker 5: I mean it's fine because they needed the explanation point
- 21:06Speaker 5: in the title. I think that's a sign.
- 21:08Speaker 3: I'm concerned about wishless with the dollar signs.
- 21:12Speaker 2: Oh, it's giving reputation.
- 21:15Speaker 3: It does have a feeling. Yeah, I'm excited. I'm excited
- 21:19Speaker 3: for it.
- 21:19Speaker 2: I'm so excited for it.
- 21:21Speaker 1: I actually you know they announced who's doing the super
- 21:26Speaker 1: Bowl halftime show?
- 21:27Speaker 3: Yeah, bad Bunny. Yeah huh.
- 21:29Speaker 2: I was so convinced it was going to be Taylor.
- 21:31Speaker 3: I know you did a full thing on the podcast.
- 21:35Speaker 2: I was so convinced.
- 21:37Speaker 5: But you know what it may have been because there
- 21:39Speaker 5: was a report last week and I don't know who
- 21:41Speaker 5: this blogger is, but every legit news organization kind of
- 21:45Speaker 5: picked it up, so he must be somebody decent. He
- 21:47Speaker 5: says that that was almost a done deal, but she
- 21:49Speaker 5: made demands where she wanted commercial time before and after it,
- 21:53Speaker 5: and the NFL said, we're not going to do that
- 21:55Speaker 5: because Taylor knows that they need her a lot more
- 21:58Speaker 5: than she needs them. So I think she asked for
- 21:59Speaker 5: the movie and they said they put a stop to it,
- 22:02Speaker 5: and they're going with Bad Bunny. I think he's second choice.
- 22:04Speaker 3: Well, Bad Bunny posted a photo. Was that his official
- 22:07Speaker 3: account that he posted a photo with Taylor Swift?
- 22:10Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 22:11Speaker 1: I'm gonna probably not, because everything is AI. Hold on,
- 22:16Speaker 1: everything is I saw photos that like Adele was going
- 22:22Speaker 1: to be the Super Bowl halftime performed, like everything's AI, Like,
- 22:24Speaker 1: how do you know what to believe?
- 22:25Speaker 2: These days? It's too it's too unfortunate, and not him
- 22:29Speaker 2: that posted that.
- 22:30Speaker 3: Okay, I got dupe scammed, Boomered got boommered. Yeah, they're
- 22:38Speaker 3: saying I don't follow I don't follow Bad Bunny. So
- 22:42Speaker 3: as a suggested account, it had like over a thousand
- 22:45Speaker 3: comments and normally, you know, that feels like a legit account.
- 22:49Speaker 3: So there's an.
- 22:50Speaker 5: AI actress, now do you see that? Tilly nor would Yeah, yeah,
- 22:55Speaker 5: oh yeah, there's a new AI actress. So you know,
- 22:58Speaker 5: is that the first time you're gonna get dupe, not
- 22:59Speaker 5: the last, and there she is. That's Tilly Norwood, the
- 23:02Speaker 5: new AI actress.
- 23:04Speaker 3: It's freaky, it's like weird.
- 23:06Speaker 1: It's just like so freaky, because then why why be
- 23:09Speaker 1: an actor anymore?
- 23:09Speaker 3: Why do anything?
- 23:10Speaker 2: Literally, there's a computer in AI me.
- 23:13Speaker 3: Soon we'll bring her in for the pod with my
- 23:18Speaker 3: AI actor.
- 23:20Speaker 2: No, I don't want them to take over.
- 23:22Speaker 3: No, we don't. But it's like all we saw these
- 23:25Speaker 3: movies that were predicting all this stuff and we were like, oh,
- 23:28Speaker 3: that feels crazy. Not in our generation. We have fully
- 23:33Speaker 3: signed AI actor.
- 23:35Speaker 5: Yeah, it's kind of getting weird, getting little nutty.
- 23:38Speaker 1: You're about to say something about bad Buddy and Taylor
- 23:40Speaker 1: and then we sidetracked.
- 23:41Speaker 3: Well, it wasn't a thing because it's not a real account.
- 23:44Speaker 3: Because I was thinking, isn't that weird? He posted a
- 23:46Speaker 3: photo with her, and then I was like, wait, was
- 23:48Speaker 3: that real? Let me look, and it certainly was not. Yeah,
- 23:51Speaker 3: but okay. So I asked Taylor Banks this question this morning.
- 23:55Speaker 3: If you had to convince someone who wasn't a Taylor
- 23:57Speaker 3: Swift fan to become a Taylor swif f, what are
- 24:00Speaker 3: the three songs you would show them?
- 24:03Speaker 5: All?
- 24:03Speaker 2: Too? Well? Ten minute version.
- 24:05Speaker 3: Okay, really make them sit there.
- 24:08Speaker 1: Yeah, you're gonna give me your time, and you're gonna
- 24:10Speaker 1: give me a lot of it.
- 24:11Speaker 3: You're gonna give her a chance. Yeah, ten minutes worth.
- 24:16Speaker 2: Shoot, this is the hard question. Do you have your
- 24:18Speaker 2: three mind ups?
- 24:18Speaker 3: So my pop was I wanted to give them a
- 24:21Speaker 3: pop song, which was Cruel Summer. And then see, this
- 24:25Speaker 3: isn't necessarily one of my favorites, but I think it
- 24:28Speaker 3: would be a reason to get someone emotionally invested. Would
- 24:31Speaker 3: be Marjorie Oh yeah, because the lyrics are like really emotional.
- 24:38Speaker 3: And then Champagne Problems.
- 24:40Speaker 2: Wow. Yeah, three unexpected tracks.
- 24:43Speaker 5: I know.
- 24:43Speaker 3: But I'm like, just you, you're not going in with
- 24:46Speaker 3: your favorites. You're you're trying to show them the genius
- 24:50Speaker 3: lyricists that she is.
- 24:51Speaker 1: I feel like, all too well, you can't.
- 24:54Speaker 2: You cannot not appreciate that.
- 24:56Speaker 5: I'm with you on that.
- 24:57Speaker 2: Yeah, So that feels solid. I go, is it over?
- 25:01Speaker 3: That wasn't that was? That was my top five.
- 25:04Speaker 1: Because it just sends you on a journey, and that's
- 25:07Speaker 1: a good journey to go on. And then I know
- 25:08Speaker 1: this is going to be very controversial because whatever, but
- 25:12Speaker 1: New Romantics.
- 25:17Speaker 3: It's fun. Yeah, i'd give it to you for the pop.
- 25:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:20Speaker 3: My other one was Out of the Woods piano version
- 25:22Speaker 3: at the Grammy Museum, but you can only find it
- 25:24Speaker 3: through a deep detailed search on YouTube.
- 25:27Speaker 5: Wow.
- 25:27Speaker 3: And I didn't want to get there like hopes up
- 25:30Speaker 3: and not be able to find it. Yeah, so I
- 25:31Speaker 3: didn't try that to them later on, what are yours?
- 25:34Speaker 1: Well?
- 25:35Speaker 5: I like a cruel summer is great. I like that,
- 25:37Speaker 5: So go with yours and I'm gonna going with your
- 25:38Speaker 5: all too well. Thank you, And you know I'm a
- 25:40Speaker 5: big fan. I could have should have because there's three
- 25:43Speaker 5: separate solid hooks in that song and a killer bridge.
- 25:46Speaker 5: How that didn't get more love or at least placement
- 25:49Speaker 5: on a legitimate album is shocking to me.
- 25:52Speaker 2: I agree.
- 25:53Speaker 5: And also just the lyrics are so powerful, especially when
- 25:56Speaker 5: you give that this new person the backstory of John
- 25:59Speaker 5: Mayer or whatever it is, it's so much more powerful.
- 26:03Speaker 5: Give me back my girlhood it was mine first. Yeah,
- 26:07Speaker 5: those are my three.
- 26:08Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what I thought about. Is it over?
- 26:09Speaker 3: Now?
- 26:10Speaker 5: Like?
- 26:10Speaker 2: How I how did that not make that album?
- 26:12Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 26:13Speaker 5: I know.
- 26:13Speaker 1: And there's a couple on Red too, like Babe and
- 26:16Speaker 1: Message in a Bottle like I love those.
- 26:19Speaker 3: Yeah, I love messaging, but babe doesn't really like get
- 26:23Speaker 3: me going love? And how does this not make the
- 26:25Speaker 3: actual Oh you're losing me?
- 26:27Speaker 2: That's why, you know.
- 26:30Speaker 3: If you've gone through a breakup?
- 26:32Speaker 2: What's still track from nineteen?
- 26:34Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 26:35Speaker 5: I know?
- 26:35Speaker 2: But is it from nineteen nine?
- 26:36Speaker 3: I actually think it's for mid uh Lover? No, it's
- 26:40Speaker 3: some it's a I want to say it's a.
- 26:43Speaker 2: Is it over Now Deluxe? No, we're a vault.
- 26:46Speaker 3: It's a deluxe or vault track. I want to say
- 26:48Speaker 3: it's Midnight's DeLux.
- 26:49Speaker 4: No, Mark, I'm on it.
- 26:52Speaker 3: Anyways, that one's really good too.
- 26:54Speaker 5: It was released as part of the nineteen eighty nine
- 26:57Speaker 5: re recording.
- 26:59Speaker 2: All Yeah, what did you do this weekend?
- 27:04Speaker 3: What did I do this week?
- 27:05Speaker 5: Whatever we did is gonna pale compared to your.
- 27:09Speaker 3: With that we did. We did throw Haley's mom a
- 27:12Speaker 3: surprise party, and it was our like we literally what
- 27:16Speaker 3: he died? Ever?
- 27:17Speaker 2: Mind I have a story about your party?
- 27:19Speaker 3: My party? Yeah, Okay, So we we're still like rented,
- 27:25Speaker 3: like doing all of our construction stuff, so nothing's actually
- 27:27Speaker 3: fully done, but we were like, yeah, it's good enough
- 27:30Speaker 3: to throw the party. So the night before I'm getting
- 27:33Speaker 3: like landscaping done. Haley's had someone come hanging string lights.
- 27:37Speaker 3: We're like renting tables and chairs all the things, and
- 27:42Speaker 3: it turned out beautiful. She was so surprised. It was, uh,
- 27:48Speaker 3: Haley's niece. We got she got to use our like
- 27:50Speaker 3: jacuzzie all the things. It was really fun. What are
- 27:53Speaker 3: you gonna say?
- 27:54Speaker 1: So I we decided that we were hosting Thanksgiving this year,
- 27:59Speaker 1: and so we have a friend who helps us. She
- 28:02Speaker 1: like does event planning, and we don't have like the
- 28:05Speaker 1: tables and the chairs, so she helps kind of like
- 28:07Speaker 1: organize when we have events. And so I reached out
- 28:10Speaker 1: to her this weekend, I think it was this weekend
- 28:12Speaker 1: and just said like, hey, heads up, we're planning Thanksgiving
- 28:15Speaker 1: this year.
- 28:16Speaker 2: Can you help us?
- 28:17Speaker 3: Da? Da da?
- 28:18Speaker 1: And she responds and she's like, yeah, I'm loading in
- 28:21Speaker 1: Becca's event and I'll text you like later tonight. And
- 28:24Speaker 1: I was like, Becca's event? What event is having that
- 28:30Speaker 1: I'm not invited to? Turns out it was something for
- 28:35Speaker 1: Haley's mom, and which.
- 28:37Speaker 3: Is the same thing. I was like, yeah for setting
- 28:41Speaker 3: up for the party. And I just assumed like maybe
- 28:43Speaker 3: Haley had told her, and she was like what party.
- 28:46Speaker 2: Yeah, I was like, oh god, Becca's event a question mark,
- 28:50Speaker 2: question mark question mark. I was like, yeah, yeah, don't worry,
- 28:55Speaker 2: don't worry. You would be worry for like ten minutes.
- 28:58Speaker 1: You had other plans, I was, I was previously engaged.
- 29:04Speaker 3: Yeah, you would have been imagined I had thrown a
- 29:06Speaker 3: party and you said yes to me before you said
- 29:09Speaker 3: yes to that, what would you have done?
- 29:12Speaker 1: Okay, if you were throwing a party and I said
- 29:16Speaker 1: yes to your party before I got invited to their wedding,
- 29:18Speaker 1: I would have gone to your party.
- 29:20Speaker 5: No, yeah, no way.
- 29:22Speaker 3: And then Paulina and Sofia are like, by the way,
- 29:25Speaker 3: we like just hung out with Taylor st at the
- 29:28Speaker 3: What would you do.
- 29:31Speaker 2: My friendship is I'm more loyal?
- 29:32Speaker 5: You're not telling the truth.
- 29:35Speaker 4: By the way, let's.
- 29:38Speaker 5: A friend of yours wedding is going to outweigh a
- 29:41Speaker 5: birthday party? Right, don't you think on the hierarchy of things, Well,
- 29:45Speaker 5: we have to just find what Becca's party was.
- 29:47Speaker 1: What I would do is I would approach Becca and say,
- 29:51Speaker 1: my friend is getting married on this day, depending if
- 29:55Speaker 1: it was local, I would try to make it to both.
- 30:00Speaker 1: If I was already committed to you, but I think
- 30:03Speaker 1: I would be able to predict Becca and she would say, like, I.
- 30:06Speaker 3: Really want you to be here.
- 30:08Speaker 2: No, the wedding, Yeah, the wedding, yeah, I would have four.
- 30:13Speaker 3: Henceforth I would.
- 30:15Speaker 2: Have gone to the wait is that true?
- 30:16Speaker 5: I don't am I wrong in that? I feel like
- 30:18Speaker 5: a wedding like in poker, you know, a full house
- 30:21Speaker 5: beats two pair. I feel like a wedding beats a
- 30:22Speaker 5: birthday party. I think there's a hierarchy of social events.
- 30:27Speaker 2: I agree, because the wedding is once in a lifetime.
- 30:29Speaker 5: Exactly right.
- 30:31Speaker 3: But what if it's like a fortieth or thirty, Like,
- 30:33Speaker 3: what if it's a big birthday or you're having like
- 30:36Speaker 3: a like a full party, which is essentially a wedding,
- 30:41Speaker 3: is like.
- 30:41Speaker 4: A big party right now, right right right?
- 30:43Speaker 2: Yeah, don't worry.
- 30:44Speaker 3: I don't think I'll put you in that position. But
- 30:47Speaker 3: you can invite it to Taylor's wedding.
- 30:53Speaker 5: But oh yeah, we've heard. By the way, there's rumors
- 30:55Speaker 5: of the date of that. I know.
- 30:56Speaker 3: I saw it on TikTok, and I feel like it's
- 30:58Speaker 3: this big rumor going around I think is legit, though
- 31:01Speaker 3: you do, I do, I don't know.
- 31:03Speaker 5: I also know someone with firsthand knowledge, the same as that.
- 31:08Speaker 2: Heres get started.
- 31:10Speaker 3: But it's all the same thing. A friend of a
- 31:11Speaker 3: friend whose friend works at the venue, A.
- 31:14Speaker 2: Friend of a friend whose friend works.
- 31:16Speaker 5: With his friend I know is from that state and
- 31:18Speaker 5: so she knows.
- 31:19Speaker 1: People like, do we know everything that happens in California?
- 31:22Speaker 5: I do? No, you do not?
- 31:24Speaker 4: I do?
- 31:25Speaker 3: I do not. Well, whenever the date is, I'm sure
- 31:30Speaker 3: it'll be stunning, a stunning venue, lots of security. You
- 31:35Speaker 3: won't be able to get into that one without a
- 31:39Speaker 3: secure invite. You might need to wear like certain contacts
- 31:42Speaker 3: to get in. They scan your eyes or something.
- 31:44Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, that'd be cool.
- 31:46Speaker 3: That would be really that's listen, we have an AI actress.
- 31:49Speaker 3: It's not that far fetched. Okay, wait, have you ever
- 31:52Speaker 3: watched The Golden Bachelor any of the seasons?
- 31:55Speaker 2: I tried.
- 31:57Speaker 3: It was just, oh yeah, you got sad, because there's
- 32:00Speaker 3: like it was like just sad. The first season was
- 32:03Speaker 3: like tear jerk or something. Yeah. Well, the new season
- 32:07Speaker 3: started and he had like a controversy leading up to it.
- 32:10Speaker 3: And it's regardless of you if you watched the first episode.
- 32:13Speaker 3: It's something I want to talk about. But we're gonna
- 32:16Speaker 3: take a break, all right. So the new Golden Bachelor,
- 32:40Speaker 3: he's like a former NFL football player or something, and yeah,
- 32:45Speaker 3: for like the rant, like, yeah.
- 32:46Speaker 1: I wonder if probably knows him, well, he's older, he's like,
- 32:50Speaker 1: he knows him, knows of him, he knows all these
- 32:53Speaker 1: like people who are in like the Rock of Fame and.
- 32:55Speaker 2: Stuff, Rock of Fame, Fame, Hall of Fame, into sports,
- 33:02Speaker 2: Like you know a lot about these?
- 33:04Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't. I don't know.
- 33:05Speaker 1: Like how he was trying to tell me the story
- 33:07Speaker 1: this weekend about some Hall of Famer whose son plays
- 33:11Speaker 1: now and just did something.
- 33:13Speaker 2: This is ringing a.
- 33:14Speaker 3: Bell for anybody, which also brings me to what's the
- 33:19Speaker 3: other show where they're trying to like live like our
- 33:22Speaker 3: Marine people Special Forces.
- 33:24Speaker 2: It's back.
- 33:24Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a new season. It's Jesse Decker, Sean Johnson, Jesse,
- 33:29Speaker 3: James Decker, Jesse j Decker, Teresa from House lives in
- 33:34Speaker 3: New Jersey and her daughter jud Uh huh no, I'm
- 33:40Speaker 3: trying to think who uh, Brittany Cartwright from.
- 33:44Speaker 2: Lander p that's a good cast.
- 33:47Speaker 3: It's pretty good. Yeah, I just love the show.
- 33:49Speaker 2: I like the show too.
- 33:50Speaker 3: Anyways, So the Golden bachelor on the podcast, like back
- 33:55Speaker 3: in June, he said his ideal age of the woman
- 33:59Speaker 3: he'd want to date would be forty five to sixty.
- 34:01Speaker 2: Okay, he's sixty six.
- 34:03Speaker 3: I think some.
- 34:05Speaker 2: People are like forty five.
- 34:07Speaker 3: It's like crazy, like why you know? But in my
- 34:11Speaker 3: mind I'm like, of course, like he's a man, of
- 34:13Speaker 3: course he's gonna go like as low as he sorry, But.
- 34:18Speaker 1: Also, like he said, forty five to sixty, like they
- 34:20Speaker 1: can't be his age.
- 34:21Speaker 3: Right, He's like, forty five to sixty would be his
- 34:23Speaker 3: ideal age for a woman that.
- 34:25Speaker 2: He is so annoying.
- 34:26Speaker 3: So of course they've cast these women who are forty
- 34:29Speaker 3: five to sixty. No, they're older. They're in that his
- 34:33Speaker 3: age range, which is what I think. They're like sixty
- 34:37Speaker 3: to seventy Oh is like.
- 34:38Speaker 5: There the current season fifty eight to seventy seven.
- 34:41Speaker 3: Oh wow, okay, fifty seventy seven and he's sixty six?
- 34:44Speaker 3: Is that right?
- 34:45Speaker 5: He is sixty six?
- 34:45Speaker 3: Okay. So there's this element now of all these women
- 34:50Speaker 3: who heard the podcast and they like they're like, so
- 34:53Speaker 3: what was that about? And now there's this element of
- 34:56Speaker 3: them like almost feeling like they have to prove that
- 34:59Speaker 3: they're good enough for him. I hate that that, no,
- 35:04Speaker 3: but the women are amazing and I'm hoping he like
- 35:07Speaker 3: warms up a little bit. He's a little like stiff
- 35:10Speaker 3: so far. But the women are like beautiful and successful
- 35:16Speaker 3: and just like you can tell they're all like girl.
- 35:19Speaker 3: You know, there's that like girls girl vibe. But it's
- 35:22Speaker 3: a good I would say, try it. It's not as
- 35:24Speaker 3: sad yet. I'm sure the stories are talking about that.
- 35:28Speaker 1: I'm very busy because the new season of this of
- 35:30Speaker 1: Survivor forty nine just started, so just ended.
- 35:35Speaker 3: I thought you just watched a finale.
- 35:37Speaker 2: I'm glad you ask.
- 35:39Speaker 1: I just watched Australia Versus the World, which was an
- 35:43Speaker 1: Australian Survivor with World players.
- 35:48Speaker 2: I'm in deep. You know you're in deep when you're
- 35:50Speaker 2: watching other show. Yes, So I just finished that.
- 35:56Speaker 1: But this is the USA Jeff Probes season Official Survivor USA.
- 36:02Speaker 1: So this is forty nine, and the next season is fifty,
- 36:04Speaker 1: which is the one they're bringing everybody back for, which
- 36:06Speaker 1: is going to.
- 36:07Speaker 2: Be like epic.
- 36:08Speaker 1: So I'm really excited for a season fifty, but I'm
- 36:11Speaker 1: obviously gonna watch forty nine.
- 36:13Speaker 3: It's forty nine just new people, like people you haven't
- 36:15Speaker 3: met yet.
- 36:16Speaker 2: Correct, Okay, yeah, Normy's Normy.
- 36:19Speaker 3: And then fifty they'll bring back like poverty like Rob. Oh,
- 36:22Speaker 3: it's parverty.
- 36:23Speaker 2: I don't think it's coming back up.
- 36:24Speaker 5: For fifty yours Rob. But they haven't been an All
- 36:26Speaker 5: Star season.
- 36:26Speaker 2: At all since forty.
- 36:28Speaker 1: I think forty was the last one, so it's been
- 36:29Speaker 1: ten seasons. Wow, not that I'm counting.
- 36:32Speaker 2: No.
- 36:32Speaker 1: I love when they bring back the oji's, but I
- 36:34Speaker 1: think like Ozzie's coming back, Mike White.
- 36:36Speaker 2: Who did White Lotus.
- 36:40Speaker 1: They're bringing back a lot of iconic players, and I
- 36:42Speaker 1: cannot wait.
- 36:44Speaker 3: Okay, okay, you know who.
- 36:45Speaker 5: I'm excited. Sorry, I can't make fun of my guess.
- 36:48Speaker 5: Think there's always to mock Tanya when I can. But
- 36:50Speaker 5: I'm as into Survivor. I'm just not as caught up.
- 36:53Speaker 5: We're still on forty eight. But Stephanie's coming back. Stephanie
- 36:57Speaker 5: le Grosser. Remember she was her own tribe. Every other
- 37:01Speaker 5: person on her tribe was eliminated. She was the last
- 37:03Speaker 5: person standing.
- 37:04Speaker 4: Nope, Okay, we don't care them.
- 37:06Speaker 3: She's not that.
- 37:07Speaker 1: Survivor is actually one of those I saw her face.
- 37:10Speaker 1: The names the names go in and out. If I
- 37:12Speaker 1: saw the face, I would know.
- 37:13Speaker 5: Then I'll bring up her face. The face that's Stephanie.
- 37:16Speaker 2: Oh oh yes, forever ago.
- 37:19Speaker 5: She's coming, sheers, Oh yeah she was. Yeah, No, she's probably.
- 37:23Speaker 5: If my wife and I had to name a favorite
- 37:25Speaker 5: survivor contestant is probably.
- 37:27Speaker 2: Robbie loves her as well.
- 37:28Speaker 5: She's great.
- 37:28Speaker 2: Robbie loves her as well.
- 37:30Speaker 3: This is great news for everybody's Anatomy is coming back.
- 37:36Speaker 3: I think this week.
- 37:38Speaker 2: Yeah, oh yeah, this week we're going to the cake cutting.
- 37:41Speaker 5: Yeah it is not this week.
- 37:45Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, what.
- 37:46Speaker 5: It's October ninth, So it's a week from thirteen.
- 37:48Speaker 3: Why do I feel like we've been waiting for this
- 37:50Speaker 3: premiere forever? Okay, So Brittany Escoto are from Brittany. Yeah,
- 37:58Speaker 3: she's watching Grayce and and Me the very beginning for
- 38:01Speaker 3: the very first time. Oh wo And she's just had
- 38:05Speaker 3: a baby about a month ago, and so she like
- 38:08Speaker 3: watches What at night while she's up and she's in deep.
- 38:11Speaker 3: So today I get a text and don't give any
- 38:14Speaker 3: spoilers when I tell you this, that she goes she
- 38:16Speaker 3: was on the House of Candles episode you know.
- 38:19Speaker 2: Oh, he asked her to marry him.
- 38:20Speaker 3: You remember when he's like with Rope, No, he didn't
- 38:22Speaker 3: ask her to marry Come on, It's like I think
- 38:27Speaker 3: tis in four finale.
- 38:30Speaker 4: Freedom.
- 38:31Speaker 5: It's not called House of Candles.
- 38:32Speaker 3: I know, but references the House of Candles. She's like,
- 38:36Speaker 3: oh my gosh, she has to go break up with Rose.
- 38:38Speaker 3: Please tell me he doesn't get in a car accident.
- 38:41Speaker 3: I need you to prepare me. And I'm like, man,
- 38:44Speaker 3: getting to watch that show in some of those episodes
- 38:46Speaker 3: with fresh eyes is a gift.
- 38:49Speaker 1: So I have been telling I want Robbie. Robbi's never
- 38:53Speaker 1: seen an episode of Grey's Anatomy, and I'm like, I
- 38:54Speaker 1: think he would really enjoy it watching it from yes,
- 38:58Speaker 1: from the beginning, right like season at least season one
- 39:00Speaker 1: through nine.
- 39:01Speaker 5: It's just such a commitment, like, Hey, you want to
- 39:03Speaker 5: watch Breaking Back.
- 39:05Speaker 1: Australia, sixty episodes of Love Island UK, USA Australia.
- 39:12Speaker 5: But if you asked me to start a full length,
- 39:15Speaker 5: twenty two episode a season show from the start, I'd
- 39:17Speaker 5: be like, I gotta I gotta live my life.
- 39:19Speaker 2: I want him to just commit the first eight seasons.
- 39:22Speaker 5: I would he's not going to finish that before he's
- 39:23Speaker 5: fifty years old.
- 39:24Speaker 2: No way, we could finish that, they watched. We can
- 39:27Speaker 2: finish that, like ice cream on a Sunday.
- 39:31Speaker 3: We could like ice cream Sunday or ice cream.
- 39:34Speaker 2: Ice cream on a Sunday, just finish it.
- 39:37Speaker 3: I had ice cream on a Sunday yesterday.
- 39:39Speaker 2: I know, And I saw your ice cream and it
- 39:40Speaker 2: made me want ice cream, and I love ice cream.
- 39:43Speaker 2: I'm so sick.
- 39:45Speaker 1: Okay, I see Beca sends me this picture of her
- 39:49Speaker 1: like dairy queen.
- 39:50Speaker 2: And I'm like, oh my god, yeah on a Sunday.
- 39:54Speaker 2: Then I jump on.
- 39:54Speaker 1: Robbie and I'm like, so, I'm kind of craving something,
- 39:58Speaker 1: but I don't know what it is. Can you help me?
- 40:02Speaker 1: Because I wanted him to say, like, let's go get
- 40:04Speaker 1: you ice cream. He goes, He goes, We have parmesan chunks,
- 40:10Speaker 1: we have olives, like he was just naming off all
- 40:13Speaker 1: the stuff in our fridge and I was like, no,
- 40:14Speaker 1: I don't really want that. I don't really want that.
- 40:17Speaker 1: We have peanut butter and jelly. Do you want peanut
- 40:19Speaker 1: butter and je No, I don't really want that.
- 40:21Speaker 5: Why are you playing this game?
- 40:22Speaker 2: I don't know? And he never got to where I
- 40:24Speaker 2: wanted him to why you.
- 40:26Speaker 5: To say, Robbie, I am grabbing ice cream. Let's go
- 40:27Speaker 5: get some ice cream.
- 40:28Speaker 2: Because we were like in bed and like ready to
- 40:31Speaker 2: go to sleep.
- 40:32Speaker 3: It was at seven o'clock at night.
- 40:35Speaker 2: We were in bed and ready to sleep. At six thirty,
- 40:37Speaker 2: I looked at.
- 40:38Speaker 3: Haley and I go, I really want dary. I want
- 40:41Speaker 3: a dipped cone. That's what I really wanted. But like
- 40:43Speaker 3: I didn't want to leave the house because dairy Queen's
- 40:46Speaker 3: in a mall and it was like Park.
- 40:47Speaker 2: I was just like, uh yeah, and She's like, well
- 40:49Speaker 2: they have blizzards.
- 40:50Speaker 3: I was like, all right, it'll do.
- 40:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 40:53Speaker 1: So I walked down downstairs the kitchen eate my set
- 40:58Speaker 1: step son's ice cream.
- 41:00Speaker 3: Oh good, Yeah, okay, you got some ice cream? I
- 41:02Speaker 3: did What kind was it?
- 41:03Speaker 2: Cookies and cream?
- 41:04Speaker 3: Oh?
- 41:04Speaker 5: Great?
- 41:08Speaker 3: What brand?
- 41:11Speaker 2: Not sure?
- 41:12Speaker 5: Let me ask you this ice cream frozen yogurt, gelato, custard,
- 41:17Speaker 5: which is the best?
- 41:19Speaker 2: So good? I think Gelatto.
- 41:24Speaker 5: I think you might be right.
- 41:25Speaker 3: I think I love gelotto too.
- 41:26Speaker 5: I went for gelato last night with my daughter and
- 41:29Speaker 5: it was phenomenal.
- 41:30Speaker 2: Yeah. Something just about ice cream is hit.
- 41:34Speaker 5: Yes, I love like.
- 41:35Speaker 3: A soft serve, like Dairy Queen's song that could.
- 41:38Speaker 5: Be another category.
- 41:39Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, that really hits. Just like a vanilla cone.
- 41:42Speaker 3: Sometimes all you need dipped in chocolate. If it's dipped
- 41:44Speaker 3: in chocolate.
- 41:45Speaker 4: Bonus Play, they have one.
- 41:46Speaker 5: This is not for everybody, but they have the Mister
- 41:48Speaker 5: Misty Kiss at Dairy Queen. It's like a red It's
- 41:50Speaker 5: like a cherry slushy and then they put a vanilla
- 41:53Speaker 5: soft serve right through the middle of it. Man, that
- 41:56Speaker 5: is heaven to me.
- 41:57Speaker 2: I don't think I need that.
- 41:58Speaker 5: I know you don't, but I I do.
- 42:01Speaker 3: Love anything cherry though, and the cherry mixes with the
- 42:04Speaker 3: vanilla so well.
- 42:06Speaker 1: I do love like a creamsicle, like an orange grecle
- 42:09Speaker 1: where it's like orange and vanilla.
- 42:11Speaker 2: Yeah, I do enjoy that.
- 42:13Speaker 3: I can't imagine wanting ice cream and someone suggesting pan
- 42:20Speaker 3: and all this. Yeah, I would just walk on that.
- 42:24Speaker 3: K No, I'm out, I'm out of here.
- 42:29Speaker 1: I was just like wanting that camaraderie, you know, like
- 42:31Speaker 1: my partner being like.
- 42:32Speaker 2: Yeah, let's go get ice cream, and he just like.
- 42:34Speaker 4: It to me that type.
- 42:37Speaker 1: I was like, Okay, I'm just gonna walk myself down
- 42:40Speaker 1: the stairs.
- 42:41Speaker 3: Yeah, your dessert love is somewhere where you and Robbie
- 42:43Speaker 3: are not quiet, you're not alive, Yeah at all. I
- 42:46Speaker 3: understand sometimes you just miss miss each other on those things. Yeah,
- 42:49Speaker 3: you know. Should we end with some sentences that change
- 42:54Speaker 3: people's lives just so they can leave this podcast feeling
- 42:56Speaker 3: and encourage and inspired love it? This is according to Busfeed.
- 43:01Speaker 3: Is Busfeed still likes to read bus Feed all the time.
- 43:04Speaker 5: I don't think it is what it was, but it's
- 43:06Speaker 5: still there.
- 43:06Speaker 3: Quizes I loved a BuzzFeed Yeah.
- 43:08Speaker 5: Agreed, all right. Well, BuzzFeed rounded up some readers life
- 43:12Speaker 5: changing sentences from friends or therapists or strangers, and here
- 43:17Speaker 5: are some of them. Everyone you meet knows something that
- 43:19Speaker 5: you don't facts this person says. A coworker once told me.
- 43:25Speaker 5: Nobody on their deathbed says, I wish I had worked more.
- 43:29Speaker 3: I think people need to hear that because we live
- 43:32Speaker 3: in a society that's like grind, hustle, work until you're dead.
- 43:37Speaker 3: And you go to other places in the world and
- 43:40Speaker 3: they don't live like that, and you're like, wow, this
- 43:42Speaker 3: is when you go on vacation to places that don't
- 43:45Speaker 3: live like that, you can feel your body shift, not
- 43:47Speaker 3: only because you're on vacation, but you can feel like
- 43:50Speaker 3: no one's in a rush. Everyone's just like they they sleep.
- 43:53Speaker 1: They's a vacation to places where everything shuts down. Every
- 43:57Speaker 1: store is shut down on a Sunday. You need a
- 43:59Speaker 1: little medicine on a Sunday, you ain't going anywhere. You
- 44:01Speaker 1: better stock up on Saturday because it is a bad example.
- 44:06Speaker 5: Medicine in it.
- 44:06Speaker 2: Now, I know, but you can't get it.
- 44:09Speaker 5: You stuck up for every medicine.
- 44:10Speaker 1: I'm just saying you can't get it. Like it was
- 44:12Speaker 1: like everything we're shut down on Sunday.
- 44:13Speaker 2: I was like, wow, that is so crazy.
- 44:16Speaker 5: My parents used to ask me will this matter in
- 44:18Speaker 5: ten years when I was upset. It was annoying at
- 44:21Speaker 5: the time, but it put things into perspective. I do
- 44:22Speaker 5: that with my daughters. A year from now.
- 44:24Speaker 3: This is meaningless to you, Yeah, not even a year.
- 44:27Speaker 5: Depends on what it is. Just because you spent years
- 44:31Speaker 5: making the same mistake doesn't mean you have to keep
- 44:33Speaker 5: making it. Cycles regarding exercise, you can treat it as
- 44:38Speaker 5: something you have to get through, or you can treat
- 44:40Speaker 5: it as an opportunity to do something hard. In terms
- 44:45Speaker 5: of relationships, stop watering dead and fake plants. My best
- 44:52Speaker 5: boss said, I don't care what you screw up, learn
- 44:54Speaker 5: from it and don't do it again.
- 44:57Speaker 3: Tough.
- 44:58Speaker 5: But here's one you're going to be fifty anyway from
- 45:01Speaker 5: a friend of mine because I was hesitant about going
- 45:04Speaker 5: back to college to get a degree because by the
- 45:06Speaker 5: time I graduated, I would be fifty. And they said,
- 45:09Speaker 5: but you're going to be fifty anyway. Oh So I
- 45:12Speaker 5: did it, and I started an amazing second chapter of
- 45:14Speaker 5: my life.
- 45:15Speaker 3: That's so inter that is, that's impactful. That is because
- 45:20Speaker 3: you like, don't do things because you're scared of like, well,
- 45:22Speaker 3: I'm going to be this old, but you're going to
- 45:24Speaker 3: get that old anyway.
- 45:25Speaker 5: Right, it's socially acceptable to have an unexpressed thought. Tania
- 45:29Speaker 5: is not aware of this, but it is.
- 45:31Speaker 3: Excuse me, Tanya did it this weekend. I'm sure she
- 45:34Speaker 3: had a lot of unexpressed thoughts.
- 45:36Speaker 1: I had a lot of things going through my head
- 45:38Speaker 1: that I did not express. Thank you very much, more
- 45:41Speaker 1: so because I was just in shock.
- 45:42Speaker 5: H I remember my dad saying, if you're going to
- 45:45Speaker 5: give me roses, do it while I'm alive, because I
- 45:47Speaker 5: can't smell them when I'm dead, meaning don't waste chances
- 45:50Speaker 5: to show people you love them.
- 45:52Speaker 3: Wow.
- 45:53Speaker 5: And uh, as someone who was often guilty of catastrophizing,
- 45:58Speaker 5: one thing that helps. If I'm worried about something, What
- 46:00Speaker 5: if it goes wrong with the switch it instead too?
- 46:02Speaker 2: What if it goes right?
- 46:03Speaker 5: Well? And the last one, which you've said before, the
- 46:07Speaker 5: things you're not changing you are jues.
- 46:12Speaker 2: That's my favorite.
- 46:13Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm reading a book right now and believe it
- 46:17Speaker 3: or not, and they were one of my favorite quotes
- 46:22Speaker 3: is like the difference of bravery and courage. And we've
- 46:26Speaker 3: talked about this before. When I remember it specifically of
- 46:29Speaker 3: when I came out publicly with Hailey and it was
- 46:32Speaker 3: like feeling like scared and it's like courage is being
- 46:36Speaker 3: scared and doing it anyway changed my perspective on like
- 46:40Speaker 3: that feeling of being scared to try something new, you know,
- 46:44Speaker 3: something challenging. So there you go. I hope that was
- 46:48Speaker 3: inspirational for the rest of your week till Thursday when
- 46:51Speaker 3: we'll be back. We will be back with a Dear
- 46:54Speaker 3: Bonia episode. I know you've missed our advice column, so
- 46:58Speaker 3: we'll be back on Thursday to give the people what
- 47:00Speaker 3: they want.
- 47:01Speaker 2: We love you so much.
- 47:02Speaker 3: We love you so much. Have a wonderful day. Love you,
- 47:06Speaker 3: continued B
