- 0:00Speaker 1: Three days.
- 0:01Speaker 2: You know, all right, here we go six o'clock on
- 0:04Speaker 2: this Tuesday morning. Or is it tuesday? I was at
- 0:08Speaker 2: an April fool's joke.
- 0:10Speaker 1: That would be a terrible April fools.
- 0:12Speaker 2: It really is Tuesday. Here's Ricky Sanchez with those three things,
- 0:15Speaker 2: or is it Ricky Sanzas.
- 0:17Speaker 1: It's Ricky Sanjas and these are the three things you
- 0:19Speaker 1: need to know.
- 0:21Speaker 3: If you thought that this was over the drama with TikTok,
- 0:24Speaker 3: you'd be wrong, because TikTok is set to be banned
- 0:28Speaker 3: again in the US on Saturday, or if a deal
- 0:31Speaker 3: isn't met, I'm gonna literally kick you. President Trump says
- 0:36Speaker 3: there will be an agreement before the Saturday deadline. They're
- 0:39Speaker 3: sticking to the fact that the parent company has to
- 0:41Speaker 3: sell the app to a non Chinese buyer.
- 0:44Speaker 1: They've we've seen this whole.
- 0:46Speaker 3: Thing play out once before, and the app went dark
- 0:49Speaker 3: for twelve hours. That came back after Trump signed an
- 0:52Speaker 3: order that pushed the deadline back seventy five days. He
- 0:55Speaker 3: could do that again if he so chooses too, So
- 0:57Speaker 3: there's a chance it sticks around. It seems like there's
- 1:00Speaker 3: a lot less panic this time around. And honestly, your
- 1:04Speaker 3: girls over the drama. Either ban it or don't. I
- 1:07Speaker 3: don't know what to tell you anymore. This has just
- 1:09Speaker 3: been ongoing for way too long. I'm over it, okay.
- 1:14Speaker 1: National SC will.
- 1:15Speaker 3: Host US Open Cup Round of thirty two matches at
- 1:19Speaker 3: Giodas Park of thirty two match.
- 1:22Speaker 1: Sorry.
- 1:23Speaker 3: This will be their first twenty twenty five Lamar Hunt
- 1:26Speaker 3: US Open Cup match and it's all gonna happen May sixth,
- 1:29Speaker 3: versus an opponent that's going to be determined on April seventeenth.
- 1:32Speaker 1: Tickets to the match.
- 1:33Speaker 3: Go on sale to the general public today and can
- 1:36Speaker 3: be purchased with a no fees, which is pretty amazing
- 1:38Speaker 3: and pretty great. This is a big deal for National SC.
- 1:41Speaker 3: So if you love them, you want to support them,
- 1:43Speaker 3: go buy your tickets today. And more and more people
- 1:47Speaker 3: think they can get away with not filing their taxes
- 1:50Speaker 3: this year. According to a new survey, a lot of
- 1:53Speaker 3: Americans think that the new Doge Department has fired so
- 1:58Speaker 3: many workers within the federal agencies that no one's actually
- 2:02Speaker 3: going to catch them if they don't file this year.
- 2:04Speaker 2: I'd be lying if I said I did not have
- 2:07Speaker 2: those thoughts myself.
- 2:08Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:08Speaker 3: No, I think it's normal to think about it, yes,
- 2:11Speaker 3: but also normal.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Snap out of it and realize you got to file
- 2:14Speaker 1: your taxes.
- 2:15Speaker 3: The survey conducted by Credit Karma found that twenty four
- 2:17Speaker 3: percent of Americans say they are less concerned about making
- 2:20Speaker 3: a mistake on their tax return this year because they
- 2:22Speaker 3: don't think anyone's gonna find it, and seventeen percent of
- 2:25Speaker 3: millennials said that they may not even file their taxes
- 2:28Speaker 3: this year because they don't believe they will be audited.
- 2:31Speaker 3: So I'm here to remind you to do your taxes.
- 2:33Speaker 3: I have not done mine yet. It's on my list,
- 2:36Speaker 3: my to do list. Please do your taxes.
- 2:38Speaker 1: You don't want to deal with the.
- 2:39Speaker 3: IRS, I promise you. I'm Ricky Sanchez and those are
- 2:43Speaker 3: the three things you need to know.
- 2:44Speaker 2: Thank you, Ricky. Although we do keep seeing these stories
- 2:47Speaker 2: about like there's four people working at the IRS now. No, no, no, no,
- 2:51Speaker 2: You're right, You're right, dude.
- 2:52Speaker 3: I understand the thoughts everybody do. You're gonna get caught eventually.

- 3:50Speaker 2: Well it is. Uh it's April Fools Day, Kaylie. So
- 3:53Speaker 2: maybe you can like do a bunch of stuff in
- 3:55Speaker 2: the office, you know, like flip the desks upside down.
- 4:00Speaker 7: I normally just wait out in the car, but we
- 4:03Speaker 7: are celebrating your friend's birthday today.
- 4:05Speaker 6: Well that's precious.
- 4:06Speaker 1: What birthday?
- 4:07Speaker 9: Is it my friend's destiny?
- 4:09Speaker 1: Happy birthday to destiny?
- 4:11Speaker 2: What's the plan?
- 4:13Speaker 8: Well, I have a gift for her for now, and
- 4:15Speaker 8: then we'll call it saying.
- 4:18Speaker 2: Okay, nice, I feel like that'd be rough to have

- 4:25Speaker 10: Do you have any advice on a song to sing
- 4:26Speaker 10: for happy birthday?

- 5:34Speaker 6: I also love that you were so confused on where
- 5:36Speaker 6: I was going with it.
- 5:37Speaker 2: You were like, we have more of these breads take
- 5:41Speaker 2: at the same time tomorrow seven.
- 5:43Speaker 4: Five of the River.
- 5:44Speaker 2: Ricky, Zach and Mano.
- 5:45Speaker 8: In the Morning.
- 5:45Speaker 3: Yesterday we did something that Kevin's never done in his life.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Make a drink.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Well, I like to drink drinks, but yeah, I've never
- 5:52Speaker 2: bar attended. I'm not really like a cocktail crafton type
- 5:55Speaker 2: of guys.
- 5:56Speaker 3: It's Ricky, Zach and Vanno in the morning on one
- 5:58Speaker 3: O seven five the River. We did a little competition
- 6:01Speaker 3: between the three of us. We all had to make
- 6:03Speaker 3: a specific drink based off of Bass Liquor all for
- 6:08Speaker 3: the Music City Food and Wide Festival.
- 6:10Speaker 1: That's happening.
- 6:11Speaker 10: Yeah, it's coming up April twenty four through the twenty
- 6:13Speaker 10: seventh at Centennial Park. So like we were getting ready
- 6:15Speaker 10: for it because they have this mixology competition. So we
- 6:19Speaker 10: were competing yesterday and it was kind of like supermarket sweep.
- 6:22Speaker 10: So we had like the Bass liquor and then we
- 6:24Speaker 10: had to run around corked orcs in Midtown Yeah, and
- 6:27Speaker 10: find all of the different ingredients and see what kind
- 6:29Speaker 10: of cocktail we were going to make with what they
- 6:30Speaker 10: had in the store.
- 6:31Speaker 1: It was so easy.
- 6:33Speaker 2: No, I had not done I don't drink whiskey, and
- 6:37Speaker 2: I ended up with whiskey. And I don't know what
- 6:39Speaker 2: to put in a whiskey drink. At Paul Well, if
- 6:42Speaker 2: it had been tequila, I would have knocked it out
- 6:44Speaker 2: of the park.
- 6:44Speaker 1: I would have rather the whiskey. He would have rather
- 6:46Speaker 1: the tuila.
- 6:47Speaker 3: So I got tequila and he got It's just the
- 6:49Speaker 3: way it works.
- 6:50Speaker 6: Heeven for a future reference.
- 6:51Speaker 10: I don't think you put jalapeno tequila in whiskey.
- 6:54Speaker 6: That's what he did yesterday.
- 6:56Speaker 3: She missed the hinge human being yesterday. Makeey just whatever
- 7:00Speaker 3: would come to his mind. And the craziest part is
- 7:03Speaker 3: that it worked out.
- 7:04Speaker 2: It wasn't bad.
- 7:06Speaker 3: Man has just the best luck that any man could have.
- 7:10Speaker 1: Because if you watch the things that he put in
- 7:12Speaker 1: this drink, what was it it?
- 7:13Speaker 3: It was habanero, tequila, whiskey, basil extra, a lot of pizzeria.
- 7:22Speaker 10: Club soda, simple syrup, a lot of simple syrup, juice.
- 7:27Speaker 1: And then he garnished it with a.
- 7:30Speaker 10: Like freeze, dried oranges freeze.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Yeah, here's the thing. I like music. If you hand
- 7:36Speaker 2: me guitar and say write a song, I'm not gonna
- 7:39Speaker 2: know what to do. I like drinking. I can't make
- 7:41Speaker 2: a cocktail.
- 7:42Speaker 1: But you didn't do that bad.
- 7:43Speaker 2: But I got lucky. I got lucky.
- 7:45Speaker 1: You have second place.
- 7:46Speaker 2: I beat Ricky.
- 7:48Speaker 1: You got the second place, and Zach won first place.
- 7:51Speaker 1: I did.
- 7:52Speaker 10: I was genuinely shocked because looking at my drink, it
- 7:55Speaker 10: didn't look that good.
- 7:57Speaker 2: There was in it, well, not pulp.
- 8:00Speaker 1: It was kind of like chunks of I was.
- 8:02Speaker 6: Like trying to muddle it pulp.
- 8:03Speaker 10: I was trying to muddle the peaches, so then they
- 8:05Speaker 10: were like chunks of peaches.
- 8:07Speaker 6: Still in the chunks of peach.
- 8:09Speaker 3: It was more than paulp I also am going to
- 8:11Speaker 3: say that I think it was ragged because the two
- 8:13Speaker 3: of them got there before I even got there. Oh,
- 8:16Speaker 3: there before I even walked in. So they were just
- 8:19Speaker 3: hanging out with everyone colluding together.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Chronically. Late is our fault.
- 8:25Speaker 1: I wasn't even late. I was on time. You guys
- 8:27Speaker 1: got their fifteen minutes early.
- 8:29Speaker 6: Three minutes specifically to collude.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Collusion.
- 8:34Speaker 6: She sounds like a sore loser.
- 8:36Speaker 2: I'll say, I will say, Zach is the only one.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Did you have a bartend ricky bartender?
- 8:41Speaker 2: Okay, Zach is the only one that's actually like been
- 8:43Speaker 2: a real bartend.
- 8:44Speaker 1: You have a bartender too, though, Like.
- 8:48Speaker 6: I'm not working at like the fancy rest When we.
- 8:50Speaker 3: Say that, we mean like we worked at restaurants where
- 8:52Speaker 3: you get like a jack and coke. Yeah, you're not
- 8:56Speaker 3: making these extravagant, beautiful creation.
- 8:59Speaker 8: It was U.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Zach was like a real.
- 9:03Speaker 10: Maybe a little bit maybe two ingredients you get like
- 9:05Speaker 10: the liquor, a mixer and some simple serra.
- 9:07Speaker 6: Okay, that's about it.
- 9:09Speaker 2: There is a video coming soon. We filmed this thing.
- 9:11Speaker 2: We're gonna post it. It was a lot of fun. We
- 9:12Speaker 2: enjoyed doing it.
- 9:13Speaker 10: I can't fun wait for you guys to see Kevin
- 9:15Speaker 10: running around this place like an absolute mania psychopath.
- 9:18Speaker 4: Three things you need to know.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Thank you very much for starting this Tuesday morning with
- 9:23Speaker 2: us over here at the River. Ricky's got those three things.
- 9:25Speaker 3: Miley Cyrus has released a new song and announced another
- 9:28Speaker 3: single coming this week. So we already told you last
- 9:31Speaker 3: week about her coming out with an album is Something Beautiful.
- 9:34Speaker 3: Now I can tell you about some of the music
- 9:35Speaker 3: on it, because we didn't have a whole lot of details.
- 9:38Speaker 3: So the first track she released was the prelude, followed
- 9:41Speaker 3: by Something Beautiful, the title track, which came out yesterday,
- 9:44Speaker 3: and now we're getting another single on April third. It's
- 9:47Speaker 3: a very interesting way to roll out music and not
- 9:50Speaker 3: the typical way, but obviously, like it's Miley Cyrus, she
- 9:53Speaker 3: can pretty much do whatever she wants and it'll work.
- 9:55Speaker 3: So the one that's coming out April third is called
- 9:58Speaker 3: End of the World.
- 9:58Speaker 12: Here's a clip that she shared on Social's for ten.
- 10:19Speaker 3: Yeah, the whole thing April third, This is when you
- 10:22Speaker 3: can hear it. The Preds are playing an animated game
- 10:25Speaker 3: tonight on Channel five. The broadcast is called Music City
- 10:28Speaker 3: Hockey and Smashville.
- 10:30Speaker 1: The Pred's first.
- 10:31Speaker 3: Animated game this is pretty cool. So there's gonna be
- 10:33Speaker 3: animated players, coaches, officials, and broadcasters. They're all going to
- 10:37Speaker 3: be immersed in a unique Nashville themed environment. There's gonna
- 10:41Speaker 3: be a whole storyline, Easter Eggs, family oriented entertainment.
- 10:45Speaker 1: It's a whole thing. It's a really really cool.
- 10:47Speaker 3: Moment and obviously something new that we haven't done before.
- 10:50Speaker 3: So if you want to watch it tonight, it's happening
- 10:53Speaker 3: on Channel five. And couples have filled out March Madness prenups.
- 10:58Speaker 1: This year.
- 10:59Speaker 3: There was a sportsbook bet Us who offered hoops and
- 11:04Speaker 3: harmony contracts to couples. So you decided exactly how many
- 11:08Speaker 3: of these sixty seven NC Double A tournament games that
- 11:12Speaker 3: each of you are allowed to watch, and agreed to
- 11:14Speaker 3: coordinate viewing schedules to prioritize shared activities and responsibilities.
- 11:20Speaker 1: So it was the whole thing.
- 11:21Speaker 3: It was pretty legit actually, And obviously if you watch
- 11:25Speaker 3: any sort of March Madness, you know how intense it is.
- 11:28Speaker 3: It's a lot of watching basketball.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Hold The country as.
- 11:33Speaker 3: A whole loses millions of dollars every year during March
- 11:37Speaker 3: Madness because people are less productive. It's a really big deal.
- 11:40Speaker 3: Like Kevin said, Full Time Job Sportsbook, they surveyed one
- 11:44Speaker 3: thousand couples and found that twenty eight percent of them
- 11:47Speaker 3: admit that sports can cause friction, and among gen zers
- 11:51Speaker 3: eighteen to twenty four, one in four said that they've
- 11:54Speaker 3: even thought about ending their.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Relationship because of sports.
- 11:57Speaker 8: Wow.
- 11:57Speaker 3: Yeah, hence why hoops and harmony contract. I'm Ricky Sanchez
- 12:02Speaker 3: and those are the three things.
- 12:02Speaker 6: You need to know.
- 12:03Speaker 2: It's not a bad idea. I'm sure there are a
- 12:04Speaker 2: lot of couples that could benefit from something like that.
- 12:06Speaker 3: And now you know for next year, because this one's
- 12:08Speaker 3: pretty much over right.
- 12:09Speaker 2: We're in the final four, Final four for both men.
- 12:11Speaker 1: And men and women are both in final four.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Coming this weekend. Thank you for that, Ricky. Getting back
- 12:15Speaker 2: into the music with Sabrina Carpenter. What do you say
- 12:18Speaker 2: we learned together? Zach spacks next down the River Ricky, Zach.
- 12:24Speaker 1: And Meno in the zabax on one of seven five
- 12:27Speaker 1: of the River.
- 12:27Speaker 10: Well, in honor of April Fool's Day, I have to
- 12:29Speaker 10: tell you about one of the best prings in history.
- 12:32Speaker 10: Wayfair in twenty seventeen said that they made a fake
- 12:35Speaker 10: smart sofa and they marketed it as guess the name
- 12:39Speaker 10: wayfair like.
- 12:39Speaker 1: The furniture coming.
- 12:40Speaker 10: Yeah, okaya, that would have been much better.
- 12:44Speaker 6: It's Sophie.
- 12:45Speaker 10: Uh was like this smart sofa that they were marketing
- 12:48Speaker 10: on April Fool's Day. They said it was voice control
- 12:51Speaker 10: so you could tell it to recline and all these
- 12:52Speaker 10: different things.
- 12:53Speaker 6: It was fake. It was in April Fools Day back
- 12:55Speaker 6: in twenty seventeen.
- 12:56Speaker 1: I don't know why we don't already have that.
- 12:57Speaker 2: That's actually really smart. I have Sophia reclined. Yeah, I
- 13:02Speaker 2: would love it, but that's your fact of the day. Sophia,
- 13:04Speaker 2: hand me my drink.
- 13:05Speaker 6: Sofia changed the channel.
- 13:07Speaker 1: Sophia, stop talking.
- 13:11Speaker 8: In the morning.
- 13:14Speaker 2: We need some kids right now. It's one o seven
- 13:16Speaker 2: to five the river. It's April Fool's Day. Kids on
- 13:19Speaker 2: your way to school, getting ready for school. Do you
- 13:21Speaker 2: have a prank lined up or can you share one
- 13:24Speaker 2: that you've used in the past, maybe to help them.
- 13:26Speaker 1: You're the one that they're doing this year. The prank
- 13:29Speaker 1: that you're doing this year.
- 13:30Speaker 2: I think it's important to and maybe there are kids
- 13:32Speaker 2: you got to inspire other kids, your other kids.
- 13:34Speaker 1: If you have a good you hate us right now?
- 13:36Speaker 2: Maybe stuff that's harmless. You know, nothing too crazy.
- 13:40Speaker 1: Seven seven.
- 13:43Speaker 2: If you have a good, harmless, not dangerous prank, we
- 13:46Speaker 2: want to hear about it. Let's go.
- 13:48Speaker 4: It's the river, Ricky, Zach and Mano in the morning.
- 13:52Speaker 1: We're in Nashville.
- 13:53Speaker 3: Do you have an April Fools prank that you're doing
- 13:55Speaker 3: today or have done.
- 13:57Speaker 6: In the past.
- 13:58Speaker 8: So today I picked my dad real hard.
- 14:02Speaker 1: Okay, what did you do?
- 14:05Speaker 9: So i'ment on YouTube and I searched up cracked phone
- 14:08Speaker 9: school and I displayed the picture.
- 14:12Speaker 13: On my phone in such a way it looks like
- 14:15Speaker 13: my phone tree was like messed up.
- 14:16Speaker 9: In damage and cracked.
- 14:18Speaker 13: And then I shot my dad and he was like
- 14:21Speaker 13: like he You were like, suw.
- 14:26Speaker 1: Is that dad in the background too yet?
- 14:29Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, that's a good one, Harper. Yeah, you
- 14:31Speaker 2: made your dad think that you broke your phone. He
- 14:33Speaker 2: probably didn't love.
- 14:34Speaker 8: That, grounded.
- 14:39Speaker 2: Thank you guys for sharing. See that's harmless. This is good, clean, funn.
- 14:43Speaker 1: Harmless in the moments.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Yeah, all, I have a great day, score Harpers a
- 14:48Speaker 2: heart attack. Yes, bye, guys, thank you for coming. Thanks

- 15:08Speaker 5: a while.
- 15:08Speaker 13: So on our teacher, what we're gonna do.
- 15:11Speaker 11: Is this, one kid's gonna go up to her and
- 15:14Speaker 11: say it's so hot in here, and then the whole
- 15:16Speaker 11: class is just.
- 15:16Speaker 7: All gonna faint out once.
- 15:18Speaker 1: You're all gonna sing Fate Fate.
- 15:21Speaker 3: Yeah. Oh my gosh, so you have an entirely coordinated
- 15:25Speaker 3: April Fool's joke.
- 15:26Speaker 1: That's actually great that all of you got on.
- 15:28Speaker 5: The same page, and on our other teacher all at
- 15:32Speaker 5: two sixteen, we're all gonna sign out to get to
- 15:35Speaker 5: the bathroom.
- 15:36Speaker 3: So you guys are pranking multiple teachers all together.
- 15:39Speaker 2: Jobs going on here.
- 15:41Speaker 13: And me and my friend were in dance and I
- 15:44Speaker 13: played with soon and she played flute. So I'm gonna put.
- 15:47Speaker 5: Together her flute and get in her flute seat, and
- 15:49Speaker 5: she's gonna play my basoon and get in my basoon seat.
- 15:52Speaker 3: Man, you got a full day ahead of you, Yeah, Lexi,
- 15:55Speaker 3: how are you even get to pull off all these franks?
- 15:58Speaker 4: Oh?
- 15:58Speaker 5: And by myself.
- 15:59Speaker 13: I'm pencils and I put like clear nail polish on
- 16:02Speaker 13: the tips.
- 16:03Speaker 9: So then I'm gonna give it to my.
- 16:04Speaker 13: Friends when they need to write something down and they can't.
- 16:08Speaker 3: Lexy, you sound like you might be the April Fools
- 16:10Speaker 3: master if you have all of these ideas happening today.
- 16:14Speaker 4: I learned from my dad, is.
- 16:16Speaker 2: Your dead carrot top? We like this? Call us back tomorrow.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Let us know how it went, because you do have
- 16:21Speaker 2: a you have a busy day ahead of you.
- 16:22Speaker 8: Yeah, thank you, You'll have a great day.
- 16:24Speaker 4: Two us, Ricky zachon Mano in the morning.
- 16:28Speaker 3: Alexis and Nashville, do you have an April Fools joke
- 16:32Speaker 3: that you're doing this year?
- 16:33Speaker 1: My class is giving the toilet papers.
- 16:37Speaker 8: Her room last night.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Your teachers Yellie, toilet paper her room girl.
- 16:42Speaker 10: Don't you know toilet paper is expensive these days? Who
- 16:45Speaker 10: paid for that?
- 16:46Speaker 1: Was it the whole class? Alexis? Yes, cute? So are
- 16:50Speaker 1: you on your way to school right now?
- 16:52Speaker 11: Yes?
- 16:53Speaker 1: Okay, I hope it goes.
- 16:54Speaker 2: Well, Alexis. I have to ask you. I have to
- 16:57Speaker 2: ask who's singing in the background. My brother tell them
- 17:01Speaker 2: he's got a good voice.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Thank you call in love.
- 17:07Speaker 7: Thank you.
- 17:08Speaker 2: Candice in Glasgow, Kentucky. Good morning, Happy April Fools Day.
- 17:12Speaker 2: Do you have a good prank to share?
- 17:13Speaker 4: I do so.
- 17:15Speaker 8: I work at an elementary school. We have like two
- 17:17Speaker 8: stories in our school, and so for the older kids,
- 17:20Speaker 8: like the fifth and sixth graders that are upstairs, we
- 17:23Speaker 8: tell them that we're having to practice a new drill
- 17:26Speaker 8: and that it's going to be a flood drill, and
- 17:29Speaker 8: so we have them take their shoes and bosks off
- 17:31Speaker 8: and sit Chris crossed apple sauce on top of their desk.
- 17:35Speaker 8: And that's actually so which is really hilarious because it's
- 17:38Speaker 8: a flood drill and we're on the second story, so
- 17:43Speaker 8: that they don't think about that, they.
- 17:45Speaker 4: Just do it.
- 17:45Speaker 8: And then we record all of them sitting with their
- 17:48Speaker 8: their dogs out on top of their desk.
- 17:50Speaker 2: That's so funny, Candice.
- 17:51Speaker 1: Is this like a yearly tradition that you do now
- 17:54Speaker 1: at this point?
- 17:54Speaker 8: So we did it for two years in a row,
- 17:57Speaker 8: and some of the older kids they caught on because
- 18:00Speaker 8: they had seen like the videos of the past.
- 18:02Speaker 13: But it's been a.
- 18:03Speaker 8: While and so we decided we would bring it back
- 18:05Speaker 8: this year.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Nice bring it back it goes really well for you guys.
- 18:09Speaker 2: Thank you, that's really clever, that's really funny. Good luck,
- 18:12Speaker 2: and thank you for sharing.
- 18:13Speaker 12: Thank you.
- 18:14Speaker 2: One O seven five Know.
- 18:16Speaker 1: What to do?
- 18:16Speaker 3: It's that time to call to play Kevin Mano's Game

- 18:30Speaker 2: a this is a huge deal, and this is a

- 19:59Speaker 2: stars currently in the number one movie in the country,
- 20:03Speaker 2: which is called A Working Man.
- 20:11Speaker 8: I don't know this one.
- 20:12Speaker 5: I'm just gonna guess that's hit.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Oh, this was hard. I don't know the answer either.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Jason Statham never would have guessed that.
- 20:19Speaker 8: Oh I wouldn't have either. I didn't know he was
- 20:21Speaker 8: fifty seven.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Is it's great?
- 20:24Speaker 11: Yeah?
- 20:24Speaker 2: He does one movie. I mean it beat snow White
- 20:27Speaker 2: the movies. It's doing well. Anyway, let's get back on
- 20:29Speaker 2: track here. You need this when the tickets last? Question?
- 20:33Speaker 2: Here we go in March madness. What term is used
- 20:37Speaker 2: to describe the field of four teams? Once it is
- 20:41Speaker 2: whittled down to four?
- 20:43Speaker 5: It's the final four?
- 20:44Speaker 11: Yeah, basketball, you're going to.
- 20:50Speaker 2: See Big Time Rush and you get to watch the
- 20:52Speaker 2: first episode of their show with them and then asking
- 20:55Speaker 2: questions about it afterwards.
- 20:56Speaker 11: No way, that's so awesome.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Congratulations. We hope you have a great time. Hang on
- 21:02Speaker 1: the line though, so we can get your info. K,
- 21:04Speaker 1: thank you so much.
- 21:05Speaker 4: Three things you need to know.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Just a bit past eight o'clock on this Tuesday morning,
- 21:09Speaker 2: Ricky Sanchez has those three things.
- 21:11Speaker 3: Apparently, Sidney Sweeney has called off her engagement to Jonathan Devino.
- 21:16Speaker 3: The two have been engaged in twenty twenty two and
- 21:17Speaker 3: have been notoriously known for their longer than usual engagement,
- 21:21Speaker 3: which no judgment. There is someone who's been engaged over
- 21:24Speaker 3: a year already. I don't think there's anything wrong with that.
- 21:26Speaker 3: But apparently they have split, according to a new source
- 21:30Speaker 3: who has confirmed to people that it wasn't anything to
- 21:33Speaker 3: do with not loving each other, but more so that
- 21:35Speaker 3: she's focusing on her career right now. She was also
- 21:38Speaker 3: seen at her co star Glenn Powell's sister's wedding over
- 21:42Speaker 3: the weekend, though, which has sparked a bunch of relationship brewers.
- 21:45Speaker 1: Yet again.
- 21:46Speaker 3: They went through this whole thing when their movie was
- 21:49Speaker 3: originally coming out.
- 21:50Speaker 1: Now it's happening again.
- 21:52Speaker 3: I will say they can just be friends, which is
- 21:54Speaker 3: what the source has also said. Ryman Auditorium has added
- 21:58Speaker 3: a fifth night to an ev Evening with Vince Gill.
- 22:02Speaker 3: Tickets are in high demand, so the dates are now
- 22:05Speaker 3: August seventh through the ninth and August fifteenth through the sixteenth.
- 22:08Speaker 3: The daughter of him and Amy Grant Corina is going
- 22:12Speaker 3: to open each show, which is really cool. Tickets go
- 22:14Speaker 3: on sale Friday, April fourth for all the.
- 22:16Speaker 1: Vince Gill fans out there. And Good Burger three is happening.
- 22:21Speaker 1: It is, yes, Good Burger three.
- 22:24Speaker 3: Kel Mitchell has confirmed it is definitely happening. If you remember,
- 22:28Speaker 3: they actually teased it at the end of the second movie.
- 22:31Speaker 2: I didn't watch a second one.
- 22:33Speaker 3: Okay, so Kel said quote, We're gonna go to space.
- 22:36Speaker 1: We're going to Fast.
- 22:37Speaker 3: And Furious, this thing which, as you know, The Fast
- 22:40Speaker 3: and the Furious, there's been a.
- 22:41Speaker 1: Million one of them, and they plan to keep it
- 22:44Speaker 1: going for as long as you know. It's funny.
- 22:46Speaker 3: Kel told fans at nineties Con that him and Keenan
- 22:49Speaker 3: have already sat down to discuss the next movie and
- 22:51Speaker 3: they're quote not gonna make you guys wait over fifteen years,
- 22:55Speaker 3: So it's coming soon.
- 22:56Speaker 2: Okay, it's coming soon.
- 22:58Speaker 3: I love that they're keeping this guy, and I'm loving
- 23:01Speaker 3: that even after such a long hiatus, it's become like
- 23:05Speaker 3: a cult classic kind of thing.
- 23:07Speaker 1: Sanchez and those are the three things you need to know.
- 23:09Speaker 2: Keenan Thompson seems to be aging in reverse.
- 23:11Speaker 1: I know, isn't that insane?
- 23:12Speaker 2: It really is.
- 23:14Speaker 11: There are some.
- 23:15Speaker 3: Real life things that should be taught in school. We're
- 23:18Speaker 3: thinking about that because it's tax season.
- 23:20Speaker 1: I haven't done my taxes yet. I know they're Okay,
- 23:23Speaker 1: that's terrible.
- 23:24Speaker 3: I'm sure everybody else has. I need to do my taxes.
- 23:27Speaker 3: They drive me nuts because I wish I could do
- 23:29Speaker 3: them myself.
- 23:29Speaker 2: I think the majority of people procrastinate way to the
- 23:32Speaker 2: last minute and get those extensions. So you're definitely not alone.
- 23:35Speaker 3: It's so expensive to go to somebody to do that,
- 23:37Speaker 3: and I just dread it.
- 23:38Speaker 10: I wish they would have taught us that, Like, instead
- 23:40Speaker 10: of doing homeg they should have taught us tax I
- 23:42Speaker 10: still think though, Okay, then calculus.
- 23:46Speaker 2: I don't know the calculating, and that is kind of calculous,
- 23:49Speaker 2: kind of part of the taxes that was massive. But
- 23:51Speaker 2: six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine, one of seven,
- 23:54Speaker 2: what real life skills the actually need in the real
- 23:57Speaker 2: world should be taught in this.
- 23:58Speaker 1: We throw out calculus? What else gotta go?
- 24:02Speaker 2: What should we tall in school? That's our question? Six one, five, seven, three, seven, nine,
- 24:06Speaker 2: one O seven.
- 24:06Speaker 4: Let us know one O seven five Ricky, Zach and
- 24:10Speaker 4: Meno in the morning.
- 24:11Speaker 3: Miranda and Cedar Hill, what real life things should be
- 24:13Speaker 3: taught in schools?
- 24:15Speaker 5: A four years worth of drivers add a.
- 24:19Speaker 1: Four year I think now.
- 24:21Speaker 3: I did think back to when I even did drivers
- 24:23Speaker 3: at I think it was only half the year.
- 24:25Speaker 2: You went to school in New Jersey, Ricky, that's where
- 24:27Speaker 2: you're from. What was drivers at a part of school?
- 24:30Speaker 1: Yes, it was part of school.
- 24:31Speaker 3: You had to take drivers and in school, yeah.
- 24:34Speaker 2: Mine was separate, right. I grew up in Indiana and
- 24:36Speaker 2: it was a completely separate thing we.
- 24:38Speaker 1: Did during health class.
- 24:39Speaker 6: Wow.
- 24:39Speaker 2: Yeah, what about you you grew up? Did you grow
- 24:41Speaker 2: up in Tennessee?
- 24:42Speaker 5: I did, and drivers was not required in order to
- 24:46Speaker 5: get your driver's license, and it's still not required.
- 24:49Speaker 3: That makes so much sense, Miranda.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Yeah, I've been.
- 24:54Speaker 3: Asking since I moved here four years ago, what is
- 24:58Speaker 3: going on with the driving here?
- 25:00Speaker 2: You know, it all makes sense.
- 25:02Speaker 5: I mean when I take my driver's chest, it was like, basically,
- 25:05Speaker 5: you make four right turns and you pull in a
- 25:08Speaker 5: parking spot and that's more than ourbur's license.
- 25:10Speaker 1: Wow, oh my god, that's so crazy.
- 25:12Speaker 2: Yeah, well, thank you for educating us. I'm at because
- 25:15Speaker 2: truly we've been wondering. So thank you for calling, thanks
- 25:17Speaker 2: for listening. Welcome Fyler. I believe Stephanie and Mount Juliet
- 25:22Speaker 2: has another car related answer to this question. What do
- 25:25Speaker 2: you think should be taught in schools?
- 25:26Speaker 13: I think it's just basic.
- 25:28Speaker 7: Car mechanics, like how to change your tire and how
- 25:31Speaker 7: to set your oil, and even how to pump gas.
- 25:35Speaker 7: I mean, I have a fan to be driver, and
- 25:39Speaker 7: I had to teach her how to pump gas, and
- 25:42Speaker 7: I thought something simple like that would have been obvious,
- 25:45Speaker 7: But no, it's not.
- 25:49Speaker 2: I don't mean to change the subject. But do you, guys,
- 25:51Speaker 2: Stephanie and Ricky, do you even thinking about pumping gas?
- 25:54Speaker 2: My hands feel dirty? Do you always like have to
- 25:57Speaker 2: sanitize after you do that?
- 25:58Speaker 1: I do?
- 25:59Speaker 3: But also like, yeah, I came from Jersey, where I
- 26:02Speaker 3: think now the only state, or one of the very few,
- 26:04Speaker 3: you don't pump our gas in Jersey. You don't get
- 26:08Speaker 3: out of your car ever to pump your gas. I
- 26:10Speaker 3: learned how to pump my gas when I went to
- 26:11Speaker 3: Pennsylvania one day for a trip, and that's how I knew.
- 26:14Speaker 1: How to do it.
- 26:15Speaker 3: But I do sanitize after every single time I touch
- 26:17Speaker 3: it because I'm.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Just that's not something I was used to doing.
- 26:20Speaker 8: Ever.
- 26:22Speaker 13: And the thing is like cars nowadays are so automatic, right,
- 26:25Speaker 13: like it lets you know when you need to get gassed.
- 26:28Speaker 13: Let you know you know how to open the little
- 26:31Speaker 13: gas tank door.
- 26:33Speaker 1: Yeah, when your tires are throwing air.
- 26:36Speaker 13: But you know, my child's not gonna be blessed enough
- 26:39Speaker 13: to have one of these nice all inclusive cars in
- 26:42Speaker 13: their first car. Hey, he's gonna have a nineteen eighty tank, right, Stephanie.
- 26:46Speaker 1: I wanted my first car was twenty years old.
- 26:51Speaker 3: It was an absolute piece of crap and I loved
- 26:55Speaker 3: that car and to this day it is my favorite
- 26:57Speaker 3: car that I ever owned, because I bought it myself,
- 27:00Speaker 3: even though it was an.
- 27:01Speaker 13: Absolute just absolutely. I want her to know to look
- 27:05Speaker 13: behind her shoulder, to look at her blind spot. I
- 27:07Speaker 13: don't need to sing and causing her distractions.
- 27:10Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, no, the old, the old school way of
- 27:12Speaker 2: learning things I get at seventy. Thank you for calling us.
- 27:14Speaker 2: That's a good answer.
- 27:16Speaker 3: Thanks on the.
- 27:18Speaker 4: River, Heniky, Zach and Mano in the Morning Age.
- 27:21Speaker 2: In Portland, Good morning. Do you have an answer to
- 27:23Speaker 2: our question what should be taught in schools but isn't?
- 27:26Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:27Speaker 11: I've always thought that American Sign language or some form
- 27:30Speaker 11: of sign language needs to be taught in school. I
- 27:33Speaker 11: have worked numerous customer service jobs where we have people
- 27:38Speaker 11: come in that they don't have anyone to interpret more
- 27:42Speaker 11: than him or to translate because they speak American Sign
- 27:45Speaker 11: language as their first language. It's such a needed area
- 27:49Speaker 11: I think. Yeah, I don't know why it's not taught.
- 27:52Speaker 1: I mean I learned very little in school.
- 27:55Speaker 3: They like made us do a bit of it so
- 27:57Speaker 3: I can sign my name and a few other things,
- 28:00Speaker 3: But I do think that's really smart.
- 28:02Speaker 11: Where I went to school, it was like French and Spanish,
- 28:05Speaker 11: but they didn't teach any sort of sign language at all.
- 28:09Speaker 2: I don't even know if I know anybody who knows
- 28:10Speaker 2: American sign language. I know French, but I don't know
- 28:12Speaker 2: American sign language.
- 28:13Speaker 11: We've been teaching arcade, so hopefully they'll be able to
- 28:17Speaker 11: be a little fluid.
- 28:18Speaker 3: I think that's a really great page, great suggestion. Yeah,
- 28:22Speaker 3: I love I'm sorry. You know French can say something
- 28:25Speaker 3: in French.
- 28:26Speaker 2: Oh it's this Tuesday morning.
- 28:29Speaker 3: Oh wow, Let's go to our next caller, Amanda.
- 28:34Speaker 1: Amanda, where are you calling from?
- 28:36Speaker 9: I'm doing a delivery for the company that I Weren't you.
- 28:42Speaker 6: Who you are?
- 28:43Speaker 12: Though?
- 28:45Speaker 6: I know what Kentucky.
- 28:48Speaker 1: She knows she's in Kentucky, and that's what matters.
- 28:50Speaker 3: Amanda, tell us what real life things should be taught
- 28:54Speaker 3: in school.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Yes, that's so.
- 28:57Speaker 1: Strange to me that they don't teach it anymore.
- 28:59Speaker 10: It is strange that they stopped doing it, But like, why,
- 29:02Speaker 10: what's the purpose of being able to write in cursive?
- 29:04Speaker 2: Well, my daughter's in second grade. I think she is
- 29:06Speaker 2: currently learning it. She is, Yeah, public school.
- 29:09Speaker 3: I think your daughter is one of the few, because
- 29:11Speaker 3: I've heard that they stopped doing it for a lot
- 29:13Speaker 3: of places.
- 29:14Speaker 9: Hey, they stopped doing it. If it wasn't for me,
- 29:17Speaker 9: my mom and one of my daughter's teachers teaching my
- 29:22Speaker 9: kids how to write in cursive, they wouldn't have known
- 29:24Speaker 9: how to read or write in person.
- 29:26Speaker 3: And that's why they should still learn how to write
- 29:29Speaker 3: in cursive, so that they know how to read cursive handwriting,
- 29:31Speaker 3: because a lot of old documents, like think about history,
- 29:34Speaker 3: historical documents are all written incursive.
- 29:37Speaker 9: And then as a delivery driver, they're literally printing their
- 29:42Speaker 9: name instead of finding their name.
- 29:44Speaker 2: Oh, people don't even have a signature anymore.
- 29:46Speaker 4: Yep.
- 29:46Speaker 2: Wow. Interesting All right, Amanda, thank you for calling, and
- 29:49Speaker 2: good luck finding your destination there in Kentucky.
- 29:53Speaker 11: Thank you have a great day.
- 29:55Speaker 2: Love, I can speak incursive.
- 29:57Speaker 6: Heaven. Let's hear this one too.
- 30:01Speaker 2: Hell, I kind of think about what that would sound about.
- 30:05Speaker 10: You said it so confidently, like with your full chest.
- 30:07Speaker 2: I made the joke before I had a voice in mind.
- 30:11Speaker 2: What do you think it would sound? Lad?
- 30:12Speaker 8: Here?
- 30:12Speaker 3: It was about to be like Kevin's making sense for
- 30:15Speaker 3: once and Zach I just I don't know how I
- 30:17Speaker 3: feel about that.
- 30:17Speaker 1: But here he is not making sense.
- 30:19Speaker 2: Still not Sabrina carpenter.
- 30:20Speaker 3: On, is that cursive that doesn't sound like cursive? That
- 30:24Speaker 3: sounds like certain service you call seducing?
- 30:30Speaker 4: Ricky, Zach and Menno in the morning, all.
- 30:32Speaker 2: Right, I have not heard this yet. It's one o
- 30:33Speaker 2: seven to five the River. Every day about this time,
- 30:35Speaker 2: just before nine o'clock, we play some audio from a video.
- 30:38Speaker 2: We call it the Daily Double Tap, and it's about gaslighting.
- 30:41Speaker 2: Your partner was also a short king.
- 30:43Speaker 3: Yeah, it's it's gaslighting. I was gonna try to make.
- 30:45Speaker 1: It sound better.
- 30:46Speaker 2: It's it's gaslighting.
- 30:47Speaker 3: But it's a new trend that a bunch of women
- 30:50Speaker 3: are doing to their male partners, where they're calling them
- 30:53Speaker 3: short to see their reaction.
- 30:56Speaker 6: All right, jan I have a question for you. Do
- 30:58Speaker 6: you ever wish that you were tall?
- 31:00Speaker 1: I am tall, like tall for a boy.
- 31:02Speaker 6: I am tall for a boy, Phoebe, I'm like five
- 31:04Speaker 6: eleven in like three quarters. That's pretty tall.
- 31:07Speaker 2: Oh, I mean I wouldn't say that's tall. Yes, the
- 31:10Speaker 2: average height of a guy is five maybe I'm like
- 31:12Speaker 2: almost three inches taller than that.
- 31:14Speaker 6: Three inches is like three inches is a lot.
- 31:17Speaker 2: That goes a long way three inches.
- 31:19Speaker 1: It does. I mean, I do like you're my short
- 31:21Speaker 1: king like I do probably my short Phoebe.
- 31:23Speaker 2: I'm like six over six foot with shoes on. You're
- 31:26Speaker 2: not even that tall anyway. Shoes doesn't count.
- 31:29Speaker 1: Okay, I'm six just under six tall.
- 31:32Speaker 2: That's really tall, just under.
- 31:34Speaker 1: It's okay not to be tall. I still love you.
- 31:36Speaker 2: I don't love you for your height.
- 31:37Speaker 3: I love you for your personality.
- 31:39Speaker 1: I am tall. It's okay.
- 31:40Speaker 6: We love short kings. I'm not a short king.
- 31:43Speaker 2: I'm I'm like a semi tall king.
- 31:46Speaker 1: Semi three quarters gets me. He was every time five
- 31:51Speaker 1: eleven and three quarters three quarters sit down.
- 31:54Speaker 2: I feel like it's probably worked really well on him,
- 31:56Speaker 2: because you can tell he is little self conscious of
- 31:58Speaker 2: his height.
- 31:58Speaker 1: Regardless, I had to say the three quarter three quarters.
- 32:02Speaker 1: You have something going on about it.
- 32:04Speaker 2: You knows the average high of a man. The fact
- 32:06Speaker 2: that he said with shoes on, I remember, like all
- 32:08Speaker 2: of this stuff is in his brain already, so self
- 32:12Speaker 2: cat for.
- 32:13Speaker 1: You second of it.
- 32:14Speaker 3: And now more and more women are doing it. There's
- 32:16Speaker 3: significant others.
- 32:17Speaker 2: Oh my god, hilarious.
- 32:18Speaker 1: I don't know why men are so attached to their height.
- 32:20Speaker 2: I'm not I wouldn't care at all. I don't even
- 32:23Speaker 2: know how tall I am.
- 32:24Speaker 6: I tried to Google it and Google doesn't tell me either.
- 32:27Speaker 2: You tried to google how tall? I'm somewhere in the
- 32:29Speaker 2: five ten five eleven range, but I don't know.
- 32:31Speaker 6: Like I ten and a half.
- 32:34Speaker 2: We're gonna put the video up at one of seven
- 32:36Speaker 2: five of the River on Instagram and the Instagram stories.
- 32:38Speaker 2: How tall are you? Zach?
