Two Voices, Two Roads: Wisdom's Feast and the Lure of Folly | Proverbs 6–9
Episode Overview
Two voices are always calling us—which will we follow? In this episode we walk through Proverbs 6 through 9. Proverbs 6 confronts laziness with the example of the ant, names the things God hates, and warns against temptation. Proverbs 7 paints a sympathetic but sobering picture of how attractive temptation can be and where it leads.
Proverbs 8 and 9 personify Wisdom as a woman who was present at creation and now calls out, spreading a feast and inviting all who will listen—while Folly calls from the other direction. The choice between them shapes everything.
