- 0:01Speaker 1: Hello and welcome to Outspoken.
- 0:03Speaker 2: It's your dose of the hottest influencer and pop culture
- 0:07Speaker 2: news twice a week. I'm Sophie Torber and coming up
- 0:10Speaker 2: on today's show, Tammy Hembrough's surprising update about her now
- 0:14Speaker 2: defunct activewear brand, Jazz Hand fuels breakup rumours, Abbey Chatfield
- 0:19Speaker 2: and Adam Hyde address horrendous death threats and Michaela Tester's wedding.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Guest list disaster.
- 0:26Speaker 2: First, Bec Judd has admitted that she wouldn't let her
- 0:29Speaker 2: footballer husband read her DMs, even for a million dollars.
- 0:33Speaker 2: I saw the Daily Mail running with this and I
- 0:35Speaker 2: was like, oh my God, what is going on in
- 0:37Speaker 2: her DMs? And I'm thinking, gosh, it's pretty brave of
- 0:40Speaker 2: her to put this out on her podcast that her
- 0:41Speaker 2: husband can easily listen to.
- 0:44Speaker 1: What's going on?
- 0:44Speaker 2: Well, it's all a bit of clickbait. I think from
- 0:47Speaker 2: not only the Daily Mail's behalf, but also Bec Judd.
- 0:50Speaker 2: I mean, she knows what is going to attract attention
- 0:52Speaker 2: because it was all pretty innocent. Let's take a listen
- 0:55Speaker 2: to what she actually said.
- 0:57Speaker 3: I probably wouldn't let my husband read my last five
- 1:00Speaker 3: years of messages for a million dollars, 10 million maybe.
- 1:04Speaker 1: And it's for the same reason. It's more like I'll
- 1:08Speaker 1: send you a thing saying a message that is annoying me. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:14Speaker 3: And then the other thing I do is I'm obsessed
- 1:17Speaker 3: with property. And I'm always sending houses to you guys
- 1:21Speaker 3: that I want to buy. And if he knew all
- 1:25Speaker 3: of the scheming I was doing behind the scenes, I would.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Be in big trouble. You've got to have a vent.
- 1:30Speaker 2: And it was funny. I was reflecting on all of
- 1:32Speaker 2: the messages I wouldn't want people to read in my
- 1:34Speaker 2: phone when I was listening to Mamma Mia because they
- 1:37Speaker 2: were dissecting all of the celebrity text messages that have
- 1:39Speaker 2: recently come out. Of course, we've got an insight into
- 1:42Speaker 2: how Blake Lively and Taylor Swift text And they were
- 1:46Speaker 2: talking about how a lot of celebrities now won't follow
- 1:48Speaker 2: up defamation cases because they don't want the media and
- 1:52Speaker 2: general public having access to all their private messages and
- 1:55Speaker 2: how it's quite silly of all of us to put
- 1:56Speaker 2: all of these things in writing.
- 1:58Speaker 1: However, we all do it. I don't really like anyone
- 2:00Speaker 1: looking at my phone.
- 2:01Speaker 2: Like if I hand my phone over to show someone
- 2:03Speaker 2: an Instagram story and you know, when they physically take
- 2:05Speaker 2: the phone away from you, you feel uncomfortable.
- 2:07Speaker 1: You start sweating.
- 2:08Speaker 2: And it's not because I necessarily have anything bad on there,
- 2:11Speaker 2: but I'm just like, I don't want people seeing my
- 2:12Speaker 2: messages pop up or What if they see my screenshots?
- 2:15Speaker 2: Like I screenshot a lot of stuff. My iCloud notified
- 2:19Speaker 2: me that it was full. I've got over 100,000 photos
- 2:22Speaker 2: and 44,000 of those were screenshots. So I have been
- 2:26Speaker 2: having to painstakingly go through them. But there are so
- 2:29Speaker 2: many incriminating screenshots you have on your phone.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Maybe you send.
- 2:33Speaker 2: A message to your group chat about something that you've
- 2:35Speaker 2: seen on Instagram.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Or someone.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Well, spare a thought for me in 2017 when I
- 2:39Speaker 2: was working at a media organization and it all turned
- 2:43Speaker 2: to shit. I ended up having to sue them, but
- 2:45Speaker 2: they confiscated my work phone. And I was treating that
- 2:48Speaker 2: as if it was a personal phone and not that
- 2:50Speaker 2: there was anything incriminating on it, but there was just
- 2:53Speaker 2: embarrassing things. I remember back in the day, you obviously
- 2:56Speaker 2: can't screenshot on Snapchat, but if a guy had sent
- 2:59Speaker 2: me a Snapchat and I wanted you guys to see
- 3:00Speaker 2: the photo, I would have taken a photo from my
- 3:02Speaker 2: work phone of my personal phone. Like there would have
- 3:04Speaker 2: been all these embarrassing stuff that they would have loved
- 3:07Speaker 2: to have read through. I was so embarrassing on Snapchat
- 3:10Speaker 2: back in the day. I didn't realize that the other
- 3:12Speaker 2: person could see if you clicked save.
- 3:15Speaker 1: To what they were writing.
- 3:16Speaker 2: So when I'd have conversations with my ex-boyfriend, I used
- 3:19Speaker 2: to always save the messages. Have you guys thought about
- 3:24Speaker 2: ever getting those privacy screens? Because a few of my
- 3:27Speaker 2: friends have them and you literally cannot see what someone
- 3:30Speaker 2: is looking at if you're sitting next to them. My
- 3:32Speaker 2: husband has one, which makes it sound sus, but it
- 3:34Speaker 2: actually came with the phones. And he hates it because
- 3:37Speaker 2: we'll be trying to show each other. He's always like,
- 3:39Speaker 2: have you seen my reel that I've sent you? And like,
- 3:41Speaker 2: I can never see it because it's just like this
- 3:43Speaker 2: privacy screen is blocking it. Do you know what's another
- 3:46Speaker 2: really embarrassing one is when people say, oh, can I
- 3:49Speaker 2: just search something on your Google? And you're like, oh
- 3:52Speaker 2: my God, what are my Google searches?
- 3:53Speaker 1: Or on Instagram. Or on Instagram.
- 3:55Speaker 2: If you catch up for coffee with someone, sometimes I'll
- 3:57Speaker 2: have looked at their Instagram before going for.
- 4:00Speaker 1: Some particular reason.
- 4:01Speaker 2: And then you're like, oh my God, they're going to
- 4:03Speaker 2: search and see that I've been looking at their page. Well,
- 4:07Speaker 2: I've found since having a baby, you've constantly got your
- 4:09Speaker 2: baby monitor on your phone screen. At nighttime, we do
- 4:13Speaker 2: transfer them across to the iPad, but sometimes I'll just
- 4:15Speaker 2: have my phone sitting, you know, on the kitchen counter.
- 4:18Speaker 2: And I remember I got called out because I think
- 4:20Speaker 2: I had complained about Reese to one of you, something
- 4:23Speaker 2: he'd done very minor. And then one of you replied,
- 4:25Speaker 2: but he was looking at the baby monitor and the
- 4:27Speaker 2: message came through and he's.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Like, oh, you're bitching about me to your sister. And
- 4:30Speaker 1: I was like, oh, shit. Do you know what?
- 4:32Speaker 2: I can't actually imagine how nerve wracking it would be
- 4:34Speaker 2: if you were legitimately cheating on your partner and they
- 4:37Speaker 2: got a hold of your phone.
- 4:37Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 4:38Speaker 2: Like how do people in those situations actually, one, live
- 4:41Speaker 2: with themselves, but two, have the balls to go ahead
- 4:44Speaker 2: with it?
- 4:45Speaker 1: Get dressed with me.
- 4:46Speaker 3: So tired.
- 4:46Speaker 2: I have to take the kids to school and then
- 4:48Speaker 2: I've got a Zoom meeting. I've been sleeping really bad
- 4:51Speaker 2: the past few nights, but my mom says that means
- 4:53Speaker 2: someone's thinking about you.
- 4:55Speaker 4: So that's fine then.
- 4:57Speaker 2: Tammy Hembrough has provided a surprising update about her now
- 5:01Speaker 2: defunct activewear brand, Sasky. Since announcing the brand's shock closure
- 5:05Speaker 2: in late December, she remained silent on the topic until now.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Kate, can you tell us more?
- 5:10Speaker 2: Well, when the news broke that Sasky was shutting down,
- 5:13Speaker 2: a lot of people were surprised there was no final sale.
- 5:16Speaker 2: There were a lot of comments from fans of the
- 5:18Speaker 2: brand saying how disappointed they were because they wanted to
- 5:20Speaker 2: stock up on their favorite pieces. Now, those people can
- 5:24Speaker 2: rejoice because Tammy announced on her Instagram stories that her
- 5:27Speaker 2: followers can now purchase final products from Sasky from a
- 5:30Speaker 2: shop called Thrifter. So for those not familiar with Thrifter,
- 5:33Speaker 2: it's a pre-loved thrift studio where people can rent a
- 5:36Speaker 2: rack to sell their clothes. And they have a couple
- 5:38Speaker 2: of studios across Australia, one on the Gold Coast, of course,
- 5:41Speaker 2: as well as one in Sydney and Melbourne. Tammy isn't
- 5:44Speaker 2: the only influencer who's gone down this route of using thrifter.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Olivia and Isabel Mathers and also Revy James are amongst
- 5:51Speaker 2: a group of influencers selling their pre-love clothes in February
- 5:54Speaker 2: at the studio. So they're bound to get a bit
- 5:57Speaker 2: of a audience down there buying them.
- 5:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:00Speaker 2: In terms of how it works, you simply rent a rack,
- 6:03Speaker 2: which costs $ 388 and you can have up to 50
- 6:05Speaker 2: items on your rack at any time and you're allowed
- 6:08Speaker 2: to top up these items. So it's a pretty cheap
- 6:11Speaker 2: way for Tammy to get rid of this stock and
- 6:13Speaker 2: also make money on it because you get 100% of
- 6:16Speaker 2: the sales. I wonder how many times they're planning on
- 6:19Speaker 2: topping up this rack though, because surely they have hundreds
- 6:22Speaker 2: and hundreds and hundreds of pieces to get rid of.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Does anyone else find this really bizarre?
- 6:27Speaker 2: I've read a lot of people were saying, well, why
- 6:29Speaker 2: doesn't she just donate the clothes?
- 6:30Speaker 1: She's a millionaire.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Maybe tummy is not as well off as we all think,
- 6:34Speaker 2: because why would she even, if you're worth $ 50 million,
- 6:36Speaker 2: wouldn't you think this would be a complete waste of time? Well,
- 6:40Speaker 2: back in December, we spoke about this very thing on
- 6:42Speaker 2: the podcast about how, okay, well, the AFR may say, well, look,
- 6:46Speaker 2: she's worth $ 50 million, but that's clearly an assets and
- 6:49Speaker 2: projections of how much her businesses are worth. She clearly
- 6:52Speaker 2: doesn't have the cash to splash about. Otherwise, she would
- 6:55Speaker 2: have actually kept Sasky in business.
- 6:57Speaker 1: I actually think this is a.
- 6:57Speaker 2: Really clever move from Tammy. It's such a simple way
- 7:00Speaker 2: of getting rid of a huge volume of clothes. She
- 7:04Speaker 2: doesn't have to worry about the logistics of sending these
- 7:06Speaker 2: clothes out. She doesn't have to rely on any staff
- 7:08Speaker 2: members to do it. She just needs to put them
- 7:10Speaker 2: on this rack. Secondly, Tammy knows PR. If she was
- 7:14Speaker 2: to just dump these clothes at Vinnie's or another charity shop,
- 7:17Speaker 2: There would be so many people taking photos and being like, oh,
- 7:19Speaker 2: look at where the clothes ended up.
- 7:21Speaker 1: No one wanted them.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Well, we actually saw that play out probably like five
- 7:24Speaker 2: years ago now when Bec Judd was gifted pajamas from
- 7:28Speaker 2: Larinska from Yummy Mummies. And she did a post about them.
- 7:32Speaker 2: And then literally the next day they were in the
- 7:34Speaker 2: Vinnies at Brighton where she lives along with a lot
- 7:37Speaker 2: of jagged clothing. And someone took a photo of it
- 7:39Speaker 2: and sent it into Celeb Spellcheck. And it was obvious
- 7:43Speaker 2: that she had dropped the clothes off. It was just
- 7:45Speaker 2: not a good look all around. So I tend to
- 7:47Speaker 2: agree with you. I think it is quite a clever
- 7:49Speaker 2: move because she is able to keep the Sasky customers
- 7:52Speaker 2: happy who wanted to buy some clothes. She makes a
- 7:54Speaker 2: bit of money off it. And it's pretty easy on
- 7:57Speaker 2: her behalf. She just has to send someone down or
- 8:00Speaker 2: even she goes down and just stocks up the rack.
- 8:02Speaker 2: I get all of that, but I just can't imagine, say,
- 8:04Speaker 2: PE Nation, if they went bust, Pip Edwards going down
- 8:08Speaker 2: and setting up her own personal rack with 50 items.
- 8:10Speaker 1: It just seems odd to me.
- 8:12Speaker 2: While we're talking about Tammy, did you say she took
- 8:14Speaker 2: a swipe at Matt Sikowsky on TikTok the other day?
- 8:17Speaker 2: I must have missed this. It is hard because she
- 8:19Speaker 2: posts so often, but it came up on my For
- 8:21Speaker 2: You page. So For those who missed it as well,
- 8:24Speaker 2: she uploaded a video miming to this trending sound. At
- 8:27Speaker 2: first I was like, oh, has Matt been spotted with someone?
- 8:38Speaker 2: But then I noticed a comment that said, yeah, you're
- 8:41Speaker 2: only on the show because you dated me.
- 8:43Speaker 1: And that comment got a lot of likes.
- 8:45Speaker 2: So I'm thinking that this was more a pot shot saying, look,
- 8:48Speaker 2: you're getting a bit too big for your boots. The
- 8:49Speaker 2: only reason you're on I'm a Celeb is because of me,
- 8:52Speaker 2: because she must be getting frustrated. All he seems to
- 8:55Speaker 2: do is talk about her on the show. And I mean,
- 8:58Speaker 2: obviously there's hours and hours of footage and the producers
- 9:00Speaker 2: are going to be selecting the bits where he talks
- 9:03Speaker 2: about Tammy. But He did this stand-up show in the
- 9:06Speaker 2: jungle and a lot of the jokes were centred around
- 9:09Speaker 2: him being in a.
- 9:10Speaker 1: Really unhappy marriage. And I was like, oh, come on,
- 9:13Speaker 1: you need a bit more material than that.
- 9:15Speaker 2: And as we said in the subs episode, the tide
- 9:17Speaker 2: does seem to be turning and there is a lot
- 9:19Speaker 2: of support for Matt Sikowsky. He's getting the nice guy
- 9:22Speaker 2: edit and it's making people question Tammy. Well, he actually
- 9:25Speaker 2: got kicked off on Wednesday night, so I'm guessing Tammy
- 9:28Speaker 2: is relieved. I saw an article floating around from Petestrian
- 9:32Speaker 2: saying that Tammy is getting ready to dish the dirt
- 9:34Speaker 2: on her side of the story on her upcoming Channel
- 9:38Speaker 2: 9 show, Shark. So it'll be very interesting to see
- 9:40Speaker 2: what comes out on there. Tammy's also been dropping a
- 9:43Speaker 2: couple of clues about her dating life on TikTok. So
- 9:45Speaker 2: for those who missed it, she shared a video of
- 9:48Speaker 2: her doing her.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Sister Amy's makeup.
- 9:50Speaker 2: Side note, how much did Amy look like Tammy once
- 9:53Speaker 2: her makeup was done?
- 9:54Speaker 1: Like it was crazy.
- 9:54Speaker 2: I've never really thought they look that similar before. And
- 9:57Speaker 2: I was like, what the hell? I remember doing Amy,
- 9:59Speaker 2: as in Amy on the podcast, makeup for her engagement party.
- 10:03Speaker 1: And I was like, oh, I love it. It looks
- 10:05Speaker 1: so good. And then I'm like, oh, it's because it
- 10:07Speaker 1: looks like my makeup. I like it.
- 10:08Speaker 2: Like, it is funny how everyone has their own sort
- 10:10Speaker 2: of signature look. When Soph and I were working at Seven,
- 10:12Speaker 2: I remember everyone used to say like, yes, you guys
- 10:15Speaker 2: do look similar, but you have very different makeup. Anyway,
- 10:18Speaker 2: getting back to Tammy. While she was recording this video,
- 10:21Speaker 2: a text message popped up on her screen, which Amy noticed.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Let's take a listen to what was said.
- 10:38Speaker 2: I found this part rather awkward because Tammy's son, Wolf,
- 10:41Speaker 2: was actually in the video at this point and he
- 10:43Speaker 2: was kind of laughing along with Tammy. I did wonder
- 10:46Speaker 2: if this was Tammy's way of hosing down speculation that
- 10:48Speaker 2: she's back with her ex-fiance, Reese Hawkins, because we've spoken
- 10:53Speaker 2: about it a lot on this podcast.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Photos have emerged of.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Them on the beach being pretty flirty together. She's also
- 10:58Speaker 2: been dropping stuff in her Snapchat where she's been drinking
- 11:01Speaker 2: with him.
- 11:02Speaker 1: So I wonder if Wolf is just like, oh God,
- 11:04Speaker 1: not again.
- 11:05Speaker 2: It's kind of sad because I feel like he had
- 11:07Speaker 2: quite a close relationship with Matt Zukowski. It'd be hard
- 11:10Speaker 2: for him to sort of just move on from that,
- 11:12Speaker 2: particularly because there was the marriage. On the topic of
- 11:15Speaker 2: Tammy's dating life, her ex-Fling and now Tinder dating coach,
- 11:19Speaker 2: Bailey Smith, was papped with a new woman flying into
- 11:21Speaker 2: Melbourne airport. So her name is Holly Cleverland, and she
- 11:26Speaker 2: bears a striking resemblance to Tammy Hembrough. It's quite clear
- 11:29Speaker 2: that he has a type. And she is the same
- 11:32Speaker 2: woman that Bailey was spotted on a date with in Manly.
- 11:35Speaker 2: So similar to when he was dating Tammy Hembrough, Fans
- 11:39Speaker 2: are now just snapping him in public and sending it
- 11:41Speaker 2: to media organizations. I mean, he clearly hates the media
- 11:45Speaker 2: attention and it would have been a bit of a
- 11:46Speaker 2: case of deja vu for the photographers at the airport
- 11:49Speaker 2: because Bailey flipped them the bird just like he did
- 11:52Speaker 2: when they caught him at the airport after his date
- 11:54Speaker 2: with Tammy Hembrough. It seems to be his go-to. Let's
- 11:58Speaker 2: get into our Friday influencer dump and Queensland influencer and
- 12:01Speaker 2: jewelry designer Jazz Hand has fueled rumors she's split from
- 12:05Speaker 2: her long-term boyfriend, Peter. after moving into a new apartment.
- 12:09Speaker 2: So speculation of a breakup emerged online in December after
- 12:14Speaker 2: followers began to question why her boyfriend hadn't been in
- 12:17Speaker 2: any of her recent content. So he was a no-show
- 12:21Speaker 2: in Jazz's Christmas vlog, and his birthday also went by
- 12:24Speaker 2: without Jazz mentioning anything about it. There are also rumors
- 12:28Speaker 2: floating around that Peter moved back to his hometown of Perth,
- 12:32Speaker 2: And his mum has also removed Jazz's name from her
- 12:35Speaker 2: Instagram bio. I think that's one of the biggest signs
- 12:37Speaker 2: these two are no longer together. Why did his mum
- 12:41Speaker 2: have Jazz's name in her Instagram bio?
- 12:44Speaker 1: Isn't that a bit weird?
- 12:45Speaker 2: Well, she had the names of her children and she
- 12:47Speaker 2: must have said, and Jazz.
- 12:48Speaker 1: You know. She's one of those.
- 12:50Speaker 2: Her and Peter have been together for a very long time.
- 12:53Speaker 2: This isn't just some new relationship. What an absolute burn
- 12:57Speaker 2: when the mum gets involved. I remember when I was
- 13:00Speaker 2: with my ex-boyfriend, so... I moved to Melbourne to be
- 13:03Speaker 2: with him and we were together for a year there. And,
- 13:06Speaker 2: you know, every weekend I went to his family's house
- 13:08Speaker 2: for family dinner. I really liked his mum. And then
- 13:11Speaker 2: I ended up moving back to Adelaide and we were
- 13:13Speaker 2: kind of on again, off again. And I remember going
- 13:16Speaker 2: on a holiday and I arrived at the destination and
- 13:19Speaker 2: I remember connecting to the Wi-Fi and noticing that his
- 13:22Speaker 2: mum had unfollowed me on Instagram. Oh, man. And you
- 13:25Speaker 2: know when it just is like absolute burn because we were,
- 13:27Speaker 2: you know, on at that time.
- 13:29Speaker 1: And I was like, well, clearly the parents don't know.
- 13:31Speaker 2: See, my other long-term relationship, I always stayed on good
- 13:35Speaker 2: terms with the mum. You know, we text back and forth.
- 13:38Speaker 1: She was lovely. What are the obligations of the mother?
- 13:41Speaker 2: Like are you meant to continue following the exes or
- 13:43Speaker 2: do you unfriend them?
- 13:45Speaker 1: Because I think.
- 13:46Speaker 2: I think, okay, it's fine to unfriend them, but do
- 13:48Speaker 2: it maybe like six months after the breakup, not early on.
- 13:51Speaker 1: I don't think you've got to unfriend.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Them at all. Or maybe do it after it's actually
- 13:55Speaker 2: been publicly announced because Jazz is yet to confirm the split.
- 13:59Speaker 2: But as I said, it's not looking good. Eagle-eyed followers
- 14:02Speaker 2: noticed that she's not wearing her P initial necklace. And
- 14:05Speaker 2: also Peter is nowhere to be seen in her recent
- 14:08Speaker 2: moving vlog. And I mean, this move is a huge
- 14:11Speaker 2: indicator that something is going on. Particularly because it was
- 14:14Speaker 2: only four months ago that Jazz and Peter shared that
- 14:17Speaker 2: they were so close to purchasing a home together, they
- 14:20Speaker 2: narrowly missed out on this house that was passed in
- 14:22Speaker 2: an auction. So people were like, well, hang on, what's
- 14:25Speaker 2: going on? Why are you going into a rental now
- 14:27Speaker 2: when you were going to buy a house together?
- 14:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 14:29Speaker 2: She has been in the headlines a lot because she
- 14:31Speaker 2: recently executed this PR stunt involving her best friend. So
- 14:37Speaker 2: there were reports online that she and her bestie Riley
- 14:39Speaker 2: Hempson had a friendship bust up because They both ended
- 14:42Speaker 2: up unfollowing each other. And I mean, I saw Influence
- 14:45Speaker 2: Updates AU reporting on this at the time. However, it
- 14:48Speaker 2: all ended up being part of this stunt to promote
- 14:51Speaker 2: this collaboration between the two of them because they were
- 14:54Speaker 2: doing this Galentine's Day pop-up.
- 14:56Speaker 1: At Pacific Fair.
- 14:57Speaker 2: This didn't go down well with some of Jazz's fans.
- 15:01Speaker 2: They felt a little betrayed by it all. Yeah, Jazz
- 15:03Speaker 2: opened up about it on her YouTube channel saying she
- 15:05Speaker 2: felt sick to her stomach pretending that she and Riley
- 15:08Speaker 2: weren't friends.
- 15:08Speaker 1: Let's take a listen to more of what she said.
- 15:11Speaker 5: I understand everyone's, like, shock and concern, like, it is actually, like,
- 15:15Speaker 5: now that I look back at it, I'm like, oh
- 15:17Speaker 5: my god, that was actually, like, so scary, like, so scary,
- 15:21Speaker 5: because obviously, you know, most people are, like, tagging their
- 15:25Speaker 5: friends and, like, you know, acting shocked, and then there's
- 15:28Speaker 5: obviously some people that are going to feel that and
- 15:29Speaker 5: be like, well, yeah, blah, blah, blah has always given
- 15:33Speaker 5: me this kind of vibe, so not surprised, and, like,
- 15:36Speaker 5: lots of people were feeding into that. And I was like,
- 15:38Speaker 5: that's just what I didn't want. Like, I didn't want
- 15:40Speaker 5: to read anything negative about myself or Riley. So that's
- 15:43Speaker 5: what was making me sick because obviously we've done this
- 15:46Speaker 5: on purpose. So it's inevitable for it to happen. And like,
- 15:50Speaker 5: there was a few comments and we tried not to
- 15:52Speaker 5: read them, but yeah, it's fake.
- 15:57Speaker 2: I can see how they came up with the idea
- 15:59Speaker 2: because influencer best friend bust ups were massive in 2025.
- 16:04Speaker 2: It is an amazing way for influencers to drive engagement,
- 16:08Speaker 2: to get eyeballs and to be more relevant. But in
- 16:12Speaker 2: this instance, it's backfired because Jazz and Riley have created.
- 16:16Speaker 1: A strong bond with their audience through trust.
- 16:20Speaker 2: And that has been essentially broken in order for them
- 16:24Speaker 2: to sell a product. I think a lot of brands
- 16:27Speaker 2: have been inspired by TBH and the stunts that they
- 16:29Speaker 2: pulled last year. The biggest one of those stunts was
- 16:32Speaker 2: Indy Clinton apparently working an office job. I think the
- 16:34Speaker 2: reason why this stunt felt a little bit different is
- 16:37Speaker 2: because the girls were talking about a personal relationship where
- 16:40Speaker 2: there's emotions involved. People are invested in this friendship. Whereas
- 16:44Speaker 2: someone having a bit of a career change, that's just
- 16:46Speaker 2: a bit of idle gossip.
- 16:47Speaker 1: You know what I mean? It doesn't really harm anyone.
- 16:49Speaker 2: It's a quite strange concept to put out there because
- 16:53Speaker 2: These days, with the way the algorithms work, you're not
- 16:55Speaker 2: really fed the full story. So some people might have
- 16:58Speaker 2: missed the fact that this was all a part of
- 16:59Speaker 2: a PR stunt and think that the friends have beef.
- 17:02Speaker 2: Michaela Testa has broken down in tears, revealing none of
- 17:06Speaker 2: her family will be attending her upcoming wedding to American
- 17:09Speaker 2: bodybuilder Max Krause. I felt really sorry for Michaela when
- 17:13Speaker 2: this popped up on my TikTok. So she sobbed as
- 17:16Speaker 2: she shared that she's essentially been derailing her own wedding
- 17:19Speaker 2: plans because She's so deeply ashamed and embarrassed about how
- 17:22Speaker 2: dysfunctional her family is. So apparently her fiancé Max has
- 17:27Speaker 2: been really excited about the plans but she's been shutting
- 17:30Speaker 2: them all down because she's been projecting her embarrassment onto him.
- 17:35Speaker 2: She even said she'd convinced herself that she wanted a
- 17:37Speaker 2: courthouse wedding so she didn't have to invite anyone. Now
- 17:40Speaker 2: a big fear of Michaela's was that she was going
- 17:43Speaker 2: to be trolled over not having any family members in
- 17:45Speaker 2: the wedding when photos emerged online of it. I wonder
- 17:49Speaker 2: if she was concerned what the poll camp would have
- 17:51Speaker 2: to say about it. And, you know, each party has
- 17:54Speaker 2: accused one another of having bot accounts where they, you know,
- 17:58Speaker 2: leave their real thoughts on there about one another. And
- 18:01Speaker 2: it would be an interesting angle to push like, oh,
- 18:03Speaker 2: a bit weird that none of her family are there.
- 18:05Speaker 1: What does that say about her?
- 18:06Speaker 2: Yeah. I mean, it's a very sad story when it
- 18:08Speaker 2: comes to Michaela's family because she became estranged from them
- 18:12Speaker 2: when she started her career on OnlyFans. She said her
- 18:15Speaker 2: mum disowned her when she became a sex worker. And
- 18:18Speaker 2: last year during an episode of Michaela's podcast about the
- 18:20Speaker 2: Paul family, she said she had an unstable childhood due
- 18:24Speaker 2: to her mother allegedly struggling with a drug addiction. In
- 18:28Speaker 2: a recent TikTok, she also opened up about how her
- 18:30Speaker 2: stepfather adopted her when she was three and she lived
- 18:33Speaker 2: away from her mother. And what a horrible experience that was.
- 18:38Speaker 2: She then met her biological father when she was a
- 18:41Speaker 2: teenager and lived with him for four years, but he
- 18:43Speaker 2: then sadly died of cancer. So you can see why
- 18:46Speaker 2: it would be so painful not to have any of
- 18:47Speaker 2: her family there because she actually had a really strong
- 18:49Speaker 2: relationship with her dad. He ended up leaving her a
- 18:52Speaker 2: small fortune. It is really sad, but Michaela should realize
- 18:56Speaker 2: that so many of her followers are invested in her
- 18:58Speaker 2: life and know these stories about her. So anyone who
- 19:01Speaker 2: follows her knows that she's had this turbulent time with
- 19:04Speaker 2: their family. I don't think that they're really expecting all
- 19:06Speaker 2: of them to be there. She should also know that
- 19:08Speaker 2: when weddings come up, it always raises issues.
- 19:12Speaker 1: With people's families.
- 19:13Speaker 2: I don't think that there's anyone who can say that
- 19:16Speaker 2: there hasn't been one family argument which has been spurred
- 19:18Speaker 2: on by a wedding. Also, I think when it comes
- 19:21Speaker 2: to weddings, when you have to sit down and assess
- 19:25Speaker 2: who you're inviting, you're like, oh God, is this enough people?
- 19:27Speaker 2: Because Michaela was saying that she's really only going to
- 19:30Speaker 2: invite 10 people and they're all the same age as her.
- 19:33Speaker 1: So she said her best.
- 19:33Speaker 2: Friend Bailey in Trinity will be her bridesmaids while her
- 19:36Speaker 2: old manager Aaron's going to walk her down the aisle.
- 19:39Speaker 2: And Max chimed in saying, well, if it wasn't for
- 19:41Speaker 2: my family, I'd have hardly anyone to invite either. He
- 19:43Speaker 2: said he really only has one friend and his brother.
- 19:46Speaker 2: And I actually found this conversation really refreshing because I
- 19:49Speaker 2: think in reality, everyone doesn't have all these hundreds and
- 19:52Speaker 2: hundreds of friends. And sometimes you see these Instagram stories
- 19:57Speaker 2: of these girls out on these big lunches with, you know,
- 20:00Speaker 2: 20 friends. And I'm like, geez, I don't have that
- 20:02Speaker 2: many friends.
- 20:02Speaker 1: Is that normal?
- 20:03Speaker 2: But I think a lot of times people actually end
- 20:05Speaker 2: up inviting these people They don't really know just to
- 20:08Speaker 2: make up numbers at their wedding. And then they don't
- 20:10Speaker 2: even end up ever communicating with them again after the wedding.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Laura Henshaw has surprised her followers by dropping the traditional
- 20:18Speaker 2: name she planned to call her son, Atlas. Speaking on
- 20:22Speaker 2: the Kickbump podcast, she revealed that she and her husband, Dalton,
- 20:25Speaker 2: changed their minds on their baby name at the very last.
- 20:28Speaker 3: Minute, Kate.
- 20:28Speaker 2: So much so that Laura's best friend and business partner,
- 20:32Speaker 2: Steph Clare-Smith, had actually got a personalized item for her.
- 20:36Speaker 1: With this name on it.
- 20:37Speaker 2: They had been referring to the baby by this name
- 20:40Speaker 2: the whole pregnancy. So that name was Theodore, which made
- 20:43Speaker 2: a lot more sense because leading into the birth, Laura
- 20:47Speaker 2: spoke about how her and Dalton had chosen this name
- 20:50Speaker 2: and they'd agreed upon it because there were a lot
- 20:52Speaker 2: of different nicknames the baby could be called. So she said, okay,
- 20:55Speaker 2: a lot of you were probably confused when we dropped
- 20:57Speaker 2: the name Atlas because, you know, let's be realistic, there's
- 21:00Speaker 2: hardly any nicknames, but she really liked the fact that
- 21:03Speaker 2: with Theodore, you could call him Ted because she loves
- 21:05Speaker 2: Ted Lasso or Teddy or Theo. There were so many
- 21:09Speaker 2: different names. And as someone who had a cat called Theodore,
- 21:12Speaker 2: I was.
- 21:12Speaker 1: Like, oh my God, it's such a good name.
- 21:15Speaker 2: And a cat called Teddy. Our parents had Teddy. I'm
- 21:18Speaker 2: actually disappointed because I love the name Theodore. I'm a
- 21:22Speaker 2: fan of traditional names, but I feel for poor Steph,
- 21:24Speaker 2: Claire Smith, you were actually almost in a similar situation, Kate,
- 21:27Speaker 2: when you were picking out a present for me, because
- 21:30Speaker 2: at the last minute I was like, oh my gosh,
- 21:33Speaker 2: should his middle name be Archie after our dog or
- 21:35Speaker 2: should we name him?
- 21:37Speaker 1: After my dad.
- 21:38Speaker 2: Controversially, you did keep Luca's middle name as your dogs. Yeah,
- 21:42Speaker 2: because you messaged me and you said, Sophie, I've already
- 21:44Speaker 2: got something printed with Luca.
- 21:45Speaker 1: Archie on it. No, don't blame me. I didn't say that.
- 21:48Speaker 2: I brought it into hospital and said, well, thank goodness
- 21:50Speaker 2: you kept the name because I'd already got this personalized.
- 21:52Speaker 1: It wouldn't really have mattered. No, you told me ahead
- 21:54Speaker 1: of time.
- 21:54Speaker 2: And then I was like, oh God, well, if people
- 21:56Speaker 2: have got stuff printed, I can't change it now.
- 21:58Speaker 1: No, I didn't, Sophie. I love the name Luca Archie anyway.
- 22:01Speaker 1: But it is.
- 22:03Speaker 2: hard when you do go into a pregnancy calling the
- 22:06Speaker 2: child one name and then they're born and you're like
- 22:08Speaker 2: hold on this kid looks like a different this is
- 22:10Speaker 2: why it's quite popular not to tell anyone the name
- 22:11Speaker 2: beforehand because not only do you avoid having unsolicited opinions
- 22:16Speaker 2: about the names but also you avoid people wasting money
- 22:19Speaker 2: on personalized gifts it's pretty sweet because when laura saw
- 22:23Speaker 2: atlas for the first time she said he had to
- 22:26Speaker 2: be called atlas because he was their whole world and
- 22:29Speaker 2: it just made more sense Before we get into the
- 22:32Speaker 2: next one, we just want to issue a warning as
- 22:34Speaker 2: we do discuss suicide. Abby Chatfield's boyfriend, Adam Hyde, has
- 22:39Speaker 2: opened up about the escalating abuse he's been receiving online.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Speaking on Abby's podcast, It's A Lot, Adam detailed a
- 22:46Speaker 2: disturbing incident where he was followed by a car full
- 22:49Speaker 2: of men who threatened to kill him. Let's take a
- 22:52Speaker 2: listen to what he said.
- 22:54Speaker 4: One car came past and I kind of just heard yelling.
- 22:58Speaker 4: And they were screaming homophobic slurs, really, really bad words mixed,
- 23:05Speaker 4: mixed with like death threats, bashing threats all in the one.
- 23:09Speaker 4: And there was like, it was a full car. And
- 23:11Speaker 4: I was like, huh? I was kind of like looking
- 23:14Speaker 4: at him. And one of the dudes had his phone
- 23:16Speaker 4: out and I was just like staring. I was like,
- 23:18Speaker 4: I was confused first and foremost. I was like, and
- 23:20Speaker 4: I looked around, I was the only one on the street.
- 23:22Speaker 4: And I was like, so I just kept looking at
- 23:24Speaker 4: him like, yeah. And then they went around the roundabout
- 23:27Speaker 4: and then another car, came behind them and started doing
- 23:30Speaker 4: the same thing.
- 23:31Speaker 1: A convoy of incels.
- 23:32Speaker 4: A convoy of incels were like.
- 23:34Speaker 2: We're going to fucking kill you, bro.
- 23:36Speaker 4: You fucking, you know, saying crazy words that I don't
- 23:39Speaker 4: want to repeat.
- 23:41Speaker 1: That is absolutely appalling.
- 23:42Speaker 2: But sadly, I'm not surprised because the vitriol aimed at
- 23:46Speaker 2: Abby and Adam online at the moment is next level.
- 23:50Speaker 2: So there are these viral videos currently circulating by comedian
- 23:55Speaker 2: Elliot Loney. So the TikToker has been gaining a lot
- 23:58Speaker 2: of traction online after sharing these videos of himself impersonating
- 24:02Speaker 2: Adam with an AI filter. And it was really interesting
- 24:05Speaker 2: to hear what Abby thought about these videos because They've
- 24:08Speaker 2: been floating around for a number of months and normally
- 24:11Speaker 2: Abby would instantly respond to these type of videos, but
- 24:14Speaker 2: she hasn't. Yeah. And it actually led a lot of
- 24:16Speaker 2: people to speculate that she found the videos amusing. However,
- 24:20Speaker 2: Abby and Adam set the record straight, labeling the creator
- 24:23Speaker 2: a wannabe comedian who was only capable of gaining clout
- 24:27Speaker 2: off Adam's name.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Let's take a listen. If you're going to do one video, sure.
- 24:33Speaker 6: There are multiple different people doing upwards of 10 videos
- 24:37Speaker 6: about us. Some of them are just screaming about us
- 24:42Speaker 6: and there's no basis. And I find it very interesting
- 24:44Speaker 6: that these are the same kinds of people, the same
- 24:46Speaker 6: kind of corner of the internet that often speak about
- 24:49Speaker 6: men's mental health, yet they're okay to degrade men for
- 24:53Speaker 6: speaking with vulnerability. This person has put a belt around
- 24:58Speaker 6: his neck. implying that I am abusing Adam physically, I
- 25:05Speaker 6: would say that's the implication that I get from it.
- 25:07Speaker 6: I know about you guys, but if the idea is
- 25:09Speaker 6: that I'm controlling you and that you're my cuck and
- 25:12Speaker 6: there's a belt around your neck, that, in my opinion,
- 25:15Speaker 6: implies from where I'm sitting that I'm physically abusing you.
- 25:18Speaker 3: Well, yeah.
- 25:19Speaker 4: I remember waking up and it was a video of
- 25:22Speaker 4: my face and it did look like me. I was like,
- 25:24Speaker 4: what the hell? And he's like choking himself, like hanging
- 25:26Speaker 4: himself with a belt. And I've lost a lot of,
- 25:29Speaker 4: people in my life to suicide. And every day I
- 25:32Speaker 4: think about my best friend who I lost when I
- 25:35Speaker 4: was 17, who hung himself. So to me, to play
- 25:38Speaker 4: around with that kind of imagery, it's, it's not fucking
- 25:41Speaker 4: on at all. And you know, that really like really hurts,
- 25:45Speaker 4: you know, it's, it's just like, why, why are you
- 25:48Speaker 4: doing this?
- 25:49Speaker 2: It was really interesting to hear Adam and Abby address
- 25:51Speaker 2: these videos, because as you mentioned, so a lot of
- 25:54Speaker 2: people assume that they found them amusing and I do
- 25:57Speaker 2: need to admit on this podcast, we discussed that we
- 26:00Speaker 2: got a little bit of a giggle out of them,
- 26:01Speaker 2: but I think since then they have been escalating to
- 26:05Speaker 2: a new level. And I mean, you know, a one-off
- 26:08Speaker 2: video here and there is quite funny, but as they
- 26:11Speaker 2: pointed out, they've taken them a bit too far now. Lastly,
- 26:16Speaker 2: Molly Mae has surprised everyone by announcing she's appearing on
- 26:19Speaker 2: a reality show and it is not Love Island All Stars, sadly.
- 26:23Speaker 2: she is going to be on the new.
- 26:25Speaker 1: Series of Celebrity Great British Bake Off.
- 26:27Speaker 2: This actually makes a lot of sense for her brand
- 26:30Speaker 2: because on her YouTube channel, every year, she makes her
- 26:34Speaker 2: daughter Bambi a special birthday cake from the UK's equivalent
- 26:38Speaker 2: of the Women's Weekly Cookbook. And I feel like people
- 26:40Speaker 2: love the fact that she's got all the money in
- 26:42Speaker 2: the world to buy flash cakes, but she's happy to
- 26:45Speaker 2: bake one at home.
- 26:45Speaker 1: And they're actually pretty good cakes.
- 26:47Speaker 2: I love how organic this is because over the last
- 26:49Speaker 2: couple of years, she shared on her YouTube that she's
- 26:52Speaker 2: really getting into baking.
- 26:54Speaker 1: And it's so sweet.
- 26:55Speaker 2: She bought herself a kitchen aid and she's been teaching
- 26:57Speaker 2: herself how to cook. And I find it so relatable
- 27:00Speaker 2: because they're not really flashy things. They're just simple things like,
- 27:03Speaker 2: you know, a banana.
- 27:04Speaker 1: Cake or cupcakes.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Well, she actually told her followers this week that she
- 27:08Speaker 2: didn't want to be dramatic, but appearing on the British
- 27:11Speaker 2: Bake Off was one of the best experiences of her life.
- 27:14Speaker 1: And she said that she tried to play it really.
- 27:16Speaker 2: Cool, but as a super fan of the show, she
- 27:18Speaker 2: never wanted it to end. Now, she is appearing alongside
- 27:22Speaker 2: Jojo Siwa, which.
- 27:24Speaker 1: Is a bizarre mashup to me.
- 27:26Speaker 2: They seem like they're on two totally different planets. Well,
- 27:28Speaker 2: Jojo Siwa has a connection to the UK because off
- 27:32Speaker 2: the back of being on the UK Big Brother, she is,
- 27:35Speaker 2: of course, dating Chris Hughes. We have spoken at length
- 27:38Speaker 2: about them on the podcast. I'm actually really excited by
- 27:42Speaker 2: the rest of the cast because we've got Vicky Patterson
- 27:45Speaker 2: from Geordie Shore. Also... Amy's celebrity crush, Mark Wright, who
- 27:50Speaker 2: used to be on The Only Way is Essex. There's
- 27:52Speaker 2: also another nostalgic one for us. Ralph Little played Antony
- 27:56Speaker 2: on cult classic The Royal Family.
- 27:58Speaker 3: I cannot wait.
- 28:05Speaker 2: I'm hoping that I can get this on a streaming
- 28:06Speaker 2: service somewhere. I'm pretty sure it's on Netflix.
- 28:09Speaker 1: Well, that is all we have time for today.
- 28:11Speaker 2: Thank you so much for joining us for this episode.
- 28:14Speaker 2: If you have enjoyed it, could you please make sure
- 28:16Speaker 2: you are subscribed on Apple Podcast and also Spotify.
