- 0:07Speaker 1: accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with
- 0:11Speaker 1: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 0:15Speaker 1: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 0:19Speaker 1: Donald J. Trump's leadership. I'm Christy nom the United States
- 0:23Speaker 1: Secretary of Homeland Security. Under President Trump, attempted illegal border
- 0:28Speaker 1: crossings are at the lowest levels ever recorded, and over
- 0:31Speaker 1: one hundred thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If you
- 0:35Speaker 1: are here illegally, your next you will be fined nearly
- 0:39Speaker 1: one thousand dollars a day, imprisoned, and deported. You will
- 0:43Speaker 1: never return. But if you register using our CBP home
- 0:46Speaker 1: app and leave now, you could be allowed to return legally.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Do what's right. Leave now. Under President Trump, America's laws,
- 0:55Speaker 1: border and families will be protected.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Sponsored by the United States Department of Homeland Security.
- 1:00Speaker 3: Mark Zuckerberg. Let's start the show off what everybody wants
- 1:03Speaker 3: to hear about, Mark Zuckerberg. Guy's a legend of a
- 1:12Speaker 3: few days ago. Threads rolls out and it is a
- 1:18Speaker 3: pretty much clone of Twitter, very similar type of situation,
- 1:24Speaker 3: and it took the world by star. I believe now
- 1:29Speaker 3: it has over one hundred million users with no signs
- 1:34Speaker 3: of slowing down. Obviously, Elon Musk was extremely disturbed about this,
- 1:41Speaker 3: threatened the lawsuit. I don't know if the lawsuit actually
- 1:43Speaker 3: went through yet or not, but has threatened lawsuit. Has
- 1:48Speaker 3: made some interesting comments on Twitter about Mark Zuckerberg indeed, indeed,
- 1:57Speaker 3: indeed to say the least.
- 1:59Speaker 4: Indeed, Adam twenty two was salty and Keky Palmer boyfriend
- 2:02Speaker 4: was mad. Who you think was more upset this week?
- 2:04Speaker 4: Elon or Kekey Palmer's boyfriend neck and Neck alls, I'm
- 2:11Speaker 4: gonna go with her boyfriend. I'm gonna go with her boyfriend.
- 2:13Speaker 4: He lost his all right, Ray, when you threatened to
- 2:16Speaker 4: sue a day into a new product be released, you
- 2:20Speaker 4: are in trouble now.
- 2:22Speaker 3: It's it's game, set match. So the question now is
- 2:25Speaker 3: a variety of different questions, but one of the questions
- 2:29Speaker 3: is Twitter over. So here's my take on this. I
- 2:34Speaker 3: think that Twitter's in a lot of trouble and Alisia.
- 2:39Speaker 3: We've been on Twitter since twenty nineteen. I believe we
- 2:42Speaker 3: have ninety thousand followers, So in four years we were
- 2:47Speaker 3: able to climb. In four years, we were able to
- 2:49Speaker 3: climb up to get ninety thousand followers. We were on
- 2:52Speaker 3: been on threads since when they come out.
- 2:55Speaker 2: Thursday, Thursday, Yeah, Thursday.
- 2:58Speaker 3: Okay, let's say five days. We've been on threads for
- 3:00Speaker 3: five days. We currently have one hundred thousand followers. So
- 3:05Speaker 3: what took us four years on Twitter took us four
- 3:09Speaker 3: days on threads. Now, me, personally, I'm not loyal to
- 3:15Speaker 3: any social media platform. I have not gotten paid from
- 3:17Speaker 3: any social media platform. Although I do think that an
- 3:20Speaker 3: endorsement from Meta would be appropriate. At this point, I
- 3:24Speaker 3: have not received the check yet, so I don't really
- 3:27Speaker 3: have any dog in this fight. But I am in business,
- 3:31Speaker 3: and I do understand that you go where you where
- 3:36Speaker 3: you get the most traction. It's common sense. So it's
- 3:39Speaker 3: it's common sense you go where the block is hot.
- 3:42Speaker 3: And we have gotten more traction on threads in four
- 3:47Speaker 3: days than we've gotten in four years on Twitter. Which
- 3:50Speaker 3: one do you think will give more attention to. We'll
- 3:52Speaker 3: still be on Twitter because it's free, why not? But
- 3:57Speaker 3: that's that's Twitter's fault for not proper enhancing the algorithm
- 4:02Speaker 3: for not spreading the message, for not doing a variety
- 4:04Speaker 3: of different things. Now, Threads is an interesting situation because,
- 4:08Speaker 3: of course they have a competitive advantage that they don't
- 4:10Speaker 3: that Twitter doesn't have, which is Instagram and Facebook. So
- 4:14Speaker 3: I've said this from the beginning. It's easy to build
- 4:16Speaker 3: one company off the back of another company. It's the
- 4:18Speaker 3: shoulder strategy.
- 4:20Speaker 2: Yep.
- 4:21Speaker 3: So now they build Instagram, they build Facebook. They build
- 4:25Speaker 3: Facebook first, right, then they buy Instagram. Then comes WhatsApp.
- 4:32Speaker 3: Now they have a portfolio of social media platforms. They
- 4:39Speaker 3: push people directly over from Instagram to Threads. They make
- 4:44Speaker 3: it a very seamlessameless, seamless sign up process. You keep,
- 4:48Speaker 3: you keep your same name. Only thing you gotta do
- 4:51Speaker 3: is just you know, log in.
- 4:52Speaker 2: That's it.
- 4:53Speaker 3: And then that the Threads actually even go straight to
- 4:56Speaker 3: Instagram if you want them to as well. Make it
- 4:58Speaker 3: extremely easy for people to to do it, right. That
- 5:01Speaker 3: gives them an competitive advantage. Of course, they can manipulate
- 5:05Speaker 3: the algorithm. This is where all these social media platforms do.
- 5:08Speaker 3: The first six months is maximum exposure. TikTok did it
- 5:10Speaker 3: the same way. Where they going to give you maximum exposure,
- 5:13Speaker 3: They're gonna give you reach because they want people to
- 5:14Speaker 3: sign up. Of course, it's going to be discouraging if
- 5:16Speaker 3: you put it. If you put something up and nobody
- 5:18Speaker 3: likes it. So now you put something up and engagement
- 5:20Speaker 3: is crazy and everybody's like happy about it, right, and
- 5:24Speaker 3: then at some point in time they'll probably limit that,
- 5:25Speaker 3: they'll cut that part off.
- 5:27Speaker 2: But your goal is one point five billion people that
- 5:30Speaker 2: start have to throttle it.
- 5:31Speaker 3: Yeah, Your point is an entrepreneur is to maximize anything
- 5:34Speaker 3: free for as long as you can possibly use it.
- 5:36Speaker 3: So right now it's free. Exposure is free. Now then
- 5:38Speaker 3: they say, okay, if you cut your if you end
- 5:40Speaker 3: your profile, you got to cut your Instagram profile off
- 5:43Speaker 3: as well. Nobody's going to delete their profile because why
- 5:47Speaker 3: would why would you want to do that? Uh, this
- 5:53Speaker 3: at some point in time may go down as the
- 5:56Speaker 3: death blow for Twitter. We'll see.
- 5:58Speaker 5: But this episode is brought to you by P and

- 7:50Speaker 1: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 7:54Speaker 1: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from El Salvador
- 7:58Speaker 1: accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with
- 8:02Speaker 1: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 8:06Speaker 1: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 8:10Speaker 1: Donald J. Trump's leadership. I'm Christy Noman, the United States
- 8:13Speaker 1: Secretary of Homeland Security. Under President Trump, Attempted illegal border
- 8:18Speaker 1: crossings are at the lowest levels ever recorded, and over
- 8:22Speaker 1: one hundred thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If you
- 8:25Speaker 1: are here illegally, your next you will be fine nearly
- 8:29Speaker 1: one thousand dollars a day, imprisoned and deported, you will
- 8:33Speaker 1: never return. But if you register using our CBP home

- 8:40Speaker 1: Do what's right. Leave. Now under President Trump, America's laws,
- 8:45Speaker 1: border and families will be protected.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Sponsored by the United States Department of Homeland Security.
- 8:50Speaker 3: I just don't see the advantage of Twitter when Twitter
- 8:54Speaker 3: is actually the same thing as Instagram, but with so
- 8:58Speaker 3: many more advantages. Now that Instagram is partnered with Threat,
- 9:03Speaker 3: they go they go hand it in so well they
- 9:05Speaker 3: have to go to a whole different platform and not
- 9:08Speaker 3: reach a lot of people and do a variety of
- 9:09Speaker 3: different things, where now you can pretty much just go
- 9:14Speaker 3: next door. It's like being in the same house. Would
- 9:16Speaker 3: you rather live in the same house and go next
- 9:19Speaker 3: door for your closet or would you want your closet
- 9:21Speaker 3: on a completely different street. That's more modern, common common sense.
- 9:27Speaker 3: Instagram has done this variety of different times. When Vine
- 9:32Speaker 3: was popular, they introduced videos and killed VI. When Snapchat
- 9:38Speaker 3: was at his peak, they introduced reels. Snapchat really hasn't
- 9:42Speaker 3: been the same since. Still still around, but it's not
- 9:47Speaker 3: it's not a major threat. When TikTok came out, they
- 9:51Speaker 3: took TikTok's format, started doing those videos and no, uh,
- 9:57Speaker 3: Snapchat was the stories stories Snapchat it's the stories.
- 10:00Speaker 5: And the animations inside of the inside.
- 10:02Speaker 3: Of the Tiktoks. TikTok was the rails they did. Rails
- 10:06Speaker 3: TikTok's still around. It is not sure if it's as
- 10:11Speaker 3: popular as it was before, but it's still around. But
- 10:13Speaker 3: Rails have helped Instagram now they have done the same
- 10:18Speaker 3: thing with Twitter. They have a history of copying and
- 10:24Speaker 3: taking what's popular with no apology, with very few changes
- 10:28Speaker 3: to it, and adding it to its portfolio. And like
- 10:30Speaker 3: I said, it's easier because now the user would rather
- 10:34Speaker 3: use all of these different things instead of one. This
- 10:35Speaker 3: is the only time where they've created actual new platform.
- 10:38Speaker 3: All those other platforms actually just integrated into Instagram technology. Yeah,
- 10:43Speaker 3: but I think that it's it's extremely impressive feat I've
- 10:47Speaker 3: been champion Meta for a long time. I said that
- 10:50Speaker 3: metal was not dead, and now it has climbed one
- 10:53Speaker 3: hundred and fifty percent over the last six months. And
- 10:55Speaker 3: I think at some point in time you have to
- 10:56Speaker 3: have a conversation with Mark Zuckerberg. I believe is one
- 10:59Speaker 3: of the greatest CEOs of all time.
- 11:02Speaker 2: Listening the top ten and top twenty, I'm.
- 11:06Speaker 3: Not sure, but he's up there because I mean a
- 11:08Speaker 3: lot of the criticism is that he doesn't innovate, well,
- 11:10Speaker 3: neither did Steve Jobs. So as a leader, you don't
- 11:14Speaker 3: have to you know, Steve Jobs. Then none of those
- 11:17Speaker 3: ideas with his ideas.
- 11:19Speaker 2: iPhone was his idea. Some people say that it wasn't.
- 11:24Speaker 3: This date out there that said that it wasn't, But regardless,
- 11:27Speaker 3: most of the ideas that made Apple successful were not
- 11:29Speaker 3: his ideas. He was a great businessman though, and a
- 11:31Speaker 3: great marketer. So you don't necessarily have to come up
- 11:35Speaker 3: with original ideas to be a great leader. You have
- 11:38Speaker 3: to have your company reign supreme. And Facebook has reigned
- 11:42Speaker 3: supreme for over a decade. And Meta the metaverse didn't
- 11:47Speaker 3: seem like it worked out, didn't let that phase them,
- 11:50Speaker 3: stayed focused, didn't listen to outside critics, and reinvented the
- 11:54Speaker 3: company once again. Extremely impressive feet one of the highest
- 11:59Speaker 3: growth seeing revenues of all time, top ten company when
- 12:03Speaker 3: it comes to market capitalization of all time. I don't
- 12:06Speaker 3: think that he gets enough credit. And he's faced a
- 12:08Speaker 3: tremendous opposition. He's traced opposition from Apple, He's faced opposition
- 12:12Speaker 3: from the US government, He's faced the opposition from Elon Musk,
- 12:16Speaker 3: and he survived it. So that's my that's my take
- 12:21Speaker 3: on the situation. I think that Threads is here to stay.
- 12:25Speaker 3: I encourage everybody to follow us on our threads and
- 12:28Speaker 3: follow Ian on his thread account. And I think that
- 12:32Speaker 3: there's one other thing that they took. They took only
- 12:34Speaker 3: fans model as well. So now they have the subscription
- 12:38Speaker 3: for Instagram, we'll see that. And I just we just
- 12:41Speaker 3: started our subscription. What we're going to do with our subscription.
- 12:44Speaker 3: It's just kind of stuff that we can't say. Oh yeah,
- 12:48Speaker 3: stuff that we can't say publicly. So like I put
- 12:50Speaker 3: a I put a something up on our on our
- 12:54Speaker 3: earning a leisure subscription, which I can't. I can't say
- 12:58Speaker 3: that publicly inside something that you know, people might you know.
- 13:03Speaker 3: It's a little delicate situation. So that's how I think
- 13:07Speaker 3: we're gonna use it. But it's interesting. So yes, it
- 13:10Speaker 3: scaped to our subscriptions. So they've also took only fans
- 13:14Speaker 3: model as well. They did a good thing with that
- 13:16Speaker 3: because they said we're not gonna charge anything for it,
- 13:17Speaker 3: at least for the first time. So now they're gonna
- 13:19Speaker 3: try to get all the creators to come in. It's
- 13:21Speaker 3: commissioned fee free. They're running they're running one of the
- 13:24Speaker 3: most impressive business models of all time while capturing everybody's
- 13:28Speaker 3: data almost a third of the world's population, a third
- 13:32Speaker 3: of the world's population capturing their data. They've they've mastered
- 13:35Speaker 3: the free model, selling information, selling advertisement, and they've done
- 13:40Speaker 3: it at an extremely high level.
- 13:44Speaker 2: There you have it.
- 13:48Speaker 3: Arrest my case an.
- 13:49Speaker 1: Illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child in Massachusetts.
- 13:54Speaker 1: An MS thirteen gang member from El Salvador accused of
- 13:57Speaker 1: murdering a Texas man. A Venezuela charged with filming and
- 14:01Speaker 1: selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just some of
- 14:05Speaker 1: the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President Donald J.
