- 0:52[SPEAKER_05]: We we out here man better together man episode two bro
- 0:56[SPEAKER_05]: I've been excited about shooting this second episode, man.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_05]: Just because the first episode was so rich this low.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_05]: But like I was explaining earlier, bro, I woke up this morning with this vibe.
- 1:08[SPEAKER_05]: Again, the momentum is always, but not even realizing that it's the first of February.
- 1:15[SPEAKER_05]: it's I promise you man it's it's about to be a month of of just constant open doors constant connections constant momentum and man that's why it's beautiful that we actually doing this on the first yeah because we really going to be able to mark on the calendar the momentum you know what I'm saying like bro it's it's amazing that you can get
- 1:43[SPEAKER_05]: four adult black men in the same space and and and truly Voltron a thing you know what I'm saying like man it it it don't have no choice but to come together right and that's why I better together bro yeah double on time true in the same space and in the same space space it's a space yeah these are a jouty ready to judge a black uh... and i'm by no means taking over i'm just telling the people who
- 2:12[SPEAKER_04]: if you join in the journey for the first time when this episode we appreciate you like, share, subscribe, tell the friend to tell the friend as how we grow this thing.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_04]: It matters and I haven't said in the long time or any so the activity.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_04]: So if you watch it then like it.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_04]: Great.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_04]: Fantastic and you watch it again, but if you watch it like it, it has some activity behind it that really helps.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_04]: The algorithm pushes the other people that may feel the same way that you feel.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_04]: So I see the watch time.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_04]: I see the views with the activity in terms of likes and comments.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_04]: Really want to want to get that amplified.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_04]: You know, this year, man.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_05]: Get active.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_04]: Tell you something.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_08]: Listen, man, everything good.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_08]: We just made it through that good.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_08]: I block out that ice block A, uh, I'm, I'm excited by what brother is just said.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_08]: I mean, I, I feel like this really going to be a motivational month for me.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_08]: I told you, um, we're in transitional periods right now.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_08]: And what better way to, to really experience a transitional period than it transformed you for the best, like we transitioned in from one tier to the next tier.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_08]: effectively and intentionally trying to go upward and that that's what I'm making certain that every move count.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_08]: So it's not like I'm doing this because it's familiar.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_08]: I caught myself in a familiar grind about two weeks ago like retired trucker driver and and
- 3:40[SPEAKER_08]: Anytime anything going on and I feel like I need a little more motion or a little more something going on, we default to the familiar.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_08]: So right now, stories keep coming about, hey, the current environment we in, because we always going to also bring in current events.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_08]: one of the byproducts that these ice raids are creating is there's a whole sector of logistics and transportation guys they're jumping out of equipment there's selling equipment there was a you know undocumented sector in trucking it just is as it's a reality well between that and Texas also having the the rules of
- 4:19[SPEAKER_08]: On the side of the road, a state troupe could walk up to a trucker and just be he can Dean, that person does not speak English clearly enough and Dean, him unqualified.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_08]: So because of this, the byproduct is there's a lot of equipment for sale and available.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_08]: So I'm kind of like, man, do I do I buy some of this and jump out and what I see it, I wouldn't go on back into logistics.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_08]: So now,
- 4:46[SPEAKER_08]: I'm having to, I find myself now meditating and praying for guidance.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_08]: I don't want to, if this is something I'm supposed to be doing because I'm so first at it and could help someone else that had the means but not the capital and so we'd do a little benefit from it or am I doing a bilateral, like a little lateral slide, side still, do this because I'm for me, we did.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_08]: So I'm working on that publicly and yeah, and before we shoot it to Joe T, man.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_05]: I listen to Dr.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_05]: Miles Monroe almost every day, bro, and he says, when you get an alignment or when you get.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_05]: focused on your purpose, the worst thing that can happen is something good, and a lot of times that's what we have to recognize in the space of alignment, is it ain't just going to be the negative things, it ain't going to be the dark stuff that come at you.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_05]: It's also going to be the positive and light things that come at you that's trying to view you out of that space too.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_07]: Really the season on me right now kind of hit on that.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_07]: I'm having a
- 5:52[SPEAKER_07]: I guess for a lack of better words, I'll backseat season, slow to speak, more like pay attention like here, pouring, letting allow those to pour in the youth.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_07]: You've been doing a lot of pouring and a lot of time when you've been doing a lot of pouring, arrogance can easily creep in.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_07]: You can easily feel like you to want driving a youth and you continue to miss the help.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_07]: the necessary help that you need.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_07]: And so, I've been fighting myself for the times like, man, I want to push this button.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_07]: I want to do what I did do, you know what I'm saying?
- 6:32[SPEAKER_07]: But I love the season that I'm in, like really saying, no, the night myself, it's not easy though, it's not easy.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_07]: Especially money coming in, music sets coming in, opportunities coming in, and then you got to listen, and he said, chill.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_04]: It's interesting how our seasons are not the same, but they're complimentary.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_04]: Because the season that I'm in now is actually understanding my value and stepping into my full space.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_04]: And it's been tough for me to receive, even from people that people sitting here like, yo, you got some good job, you're on it like it's been
- 7:22[SPEAKER_04]: I've been so deflective of that for so long that it's become natural.
- 7:28[SPEAKER_04]: Like it feels unnatural to be celebrated or for somebody to affirm you, somebody to invest you.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_04]: You don't understand, and that's just time and effort with actually saying, no, no, no, no, I see what this is going.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_04]: And I want to go there with you, and that'd be a roll block.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_04]: So I'm learning to,
- 7:48[SPEAKER_04]: I'm learning to assess, like you said, I've typically been slow to speak that doesn't mean that my thinking is slow.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_04]: My mind will be gone.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_04]: I've learned to try to slow my thoughts down so that the thoughts because of past experiences, though helpful in there, their mile mark is their references.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_04]: Don't prevent me from seeing what's actually available to me now, because somehow before I got burned before I did it, it never worked out before it's always been on me.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_04]: And it's been helpful, man.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_04]: I was talking about a situation yesterday that I managed differently, right?
- 8:28[SPEAKER_04]: Not go to the details of y'all with members.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_04]: You might've saw some of that, but if you're not,
- 8:36[SPEAKER_04]: giving things time to develop before I actually develop a position on the thing that made blocks on most.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_04]: Because what also happened yesterday choosing to be of a less aggressive mind facilitated conversations at the place that I went to actually work.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_04]: Probably going to lead to some opportunities for us.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_04]: Not just me, but it
- 9:01[SPEAKER_04]: Had I been in the wrong hair space, I wouldn't have been able to talk about us.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_04]: Like what we don't, what we don't, what the network is doing with the shows or what we're actually going on down stairs, because I was mad at the thing from earlier, right?
- 9:13[SPEAKER_04]: And before I'd be perfectly comfortable there, like it wouldn't affect my work, but I'm learning to, um,
- 9:20[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to actually be more engaging just in general, just in general, I just kind of took a back seat from the foot so long for a few reasons, but this is the time where I can't necessarily hide how to comfort when it's not even a necessary thing.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_05]: That's good, bro, just because we've talked about it a little bit before, man.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_05]: maturity is an ongoing thing.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_05]: See, sometimes, man, you can get to, like, my girl, say, you can get to a big age where you think I'm mature, maturity is, maturity is an ongoing thing.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_05]: You know, I'm saying, and all I heard was was was a, a more mature
- 10:09[SPEAKER_05]: Um, you view things differently and that's that's part of maturity.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_05]: We expect that from our children.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_05]: We expect that from the people around us, but in our sales, bro, sometimes we get stagnant because we think in like, man, um, this, just who I am or this is the way my like, now I broke sometimes, if you're not going to come out of that thing, you're not going to get into a thing.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_05]: You know what I'm saying?
- 10:34[SPEAKER_05]: Because because maturity,
- 10:38[SPEAKER_05]: Think about it from a hud has been standpoint or father standpoint.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_05]: Like, bro, if you're saying you're not going to mature with your children, they're going out road, who think about that?
- 10:55[SPEAKER_08]: Think about being outgrown by, come on.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_08]: by human beings that you were placed at a place to rear and show them how to mature how to grow, how to advance.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_08]: And then, obviously, at be mindful of the clichés because we often say, I want my kids to be better than me.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_08]: I want you to do more than me.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_08]: I want to go beyond my floor.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_08]: My ceiling is your floor.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_08]: We say that all the time on the platform,
- 11:30[SPEAKER_08]: actually welcome that though.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_08]: Don't.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_08]: There's a difference in let my ceiling be your floor.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_08]: And I'm just stagnant so much years in our room.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_08]: It was a two different things.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_08]: I'm actively still pursuing and changing and evolving and progressing.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_08]: and my kids, they're constantly outpacing me because they see what I'm doing and it motivates them and shows them what determination looks like and they outpace me versus they simply lap me because I'm sitting still.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_08]: Those are two different things.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_05]: That's good.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_08]: So because of that, I find myself recently and I'm proud of this.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_08]: I lead more conversations with what you think about
- 12:14[SPEAKER_08]: The old me is, we're doing this, I'm gonna do this.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_08]: Let's jump on this, we don't, we don't.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_08]: I would just think about this.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_08]: I feel like this, I'm taking the feedback, like when I'm feeling like this, and actually, actually, taking to account was being seen and adjusted it.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_08]: So I ain't thinking about my wife, like, I,
- 12:35[SPEAKER_08]: It's hard to go from a single man and you making your own decisions and you kind of paving your own way.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_08]: You're thinking about how to move.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_08]: It's going to be.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_08]: And what they're going to look like.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_08]: And then now you have this other thinking, living, breathing, viable source under the same roof.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_08]: Not just under your roof.
- 12:53[SPEAKER_08]: John that the hip.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_08]: Just as motivated as you just as productive as you just as accountable as you.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_08]: Sometimes those ideas are just better than mine.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_08]: Imagine having she learn and be able to be like, yeah, you're right.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_08]: That's the hardest hurdle I think I've had to deal with at times, acknowledging that sometimes my wife ideas just better than mine in the moment.
- 13:26[SPEAKER_08]: You know, so we have to be able to roll with those adjustments, going to the maturity, going to the adjustments and the phase that we end in life right now.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_08]: It's equally important that we surround ourselves with the word, like, mind it, meaning some of these new adjustments and sacrifices everybody can have to make it the house.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_08]: Just like we were talking before the camera roll, my outdoor activity for the shoot through the ceiling.
- 13:55[SPEAKER_08]: So there's a level of comfort.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_08]: My family has with me being at the house inside the house.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_08]: For this many hours, and then I'm possibly about to have to cut those hours in half for the sake of later I can be here even more.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_08]: You see what I mean?
- 14:13[SPEAKER_08]: So just being mindful of having the conversations to make sure the house, the surroundings, everybody connected to you, understand.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_08]: a phase that's possibly not going to look like the phase, we just came out of.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_04]: What's that conversation been like in our houses in terms of, we're at this phase now.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_04]: We live through trial and error somewhere error, than the trials warranted, or that we thought the trials were warranted.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_04]: But stepping into a space now with more public face and how and about what's the conversation like in the house in terms of ensuring that the safety aspect is still there, that they still understand, because we all in committed relationships, like they, they understand where it's going, and like just keeping them engaged.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_04]: Like I said before, we started taping.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_04]: My wife went to an event with me yesterday that I was shooting.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_04]: But it's really a women-driven event.
- 15:20[SPEAKER_04]: Child to Nate will love his audiences.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_04]: It's a lot of women.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_04]: And in my mind, I'm working.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_04]: Like, it's not even, like, legitimate, not even a foot of anything else.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_04]: But on my wife expressed interest that she wanted to go, I was like, cool, like, no problem, but I was like,
- 15:41[SPEAKER_04]: I wanted to as she thought before, like because it's not my first time going and I haven't hasn't really been a conversation and hasn't been in the activity to suggest otherwise.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_04]: But like what is that conversation like in your mind or what do you think is important in terms of assuring them that they're safe?
- 16:01[SPEAKER_05]: I think, and this is what I do at Monash about Joty, the youngster being on the show.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_05]: Little man over here.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_05]: But what I do at Monash about a man is that he hungry for the information on how to navigate the space is going into a new man.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_05]: And these are good questions because when things become new,
- 16:27[SPEAKER_05]: We have to create a new level of security in our spouses and our children and even in our self.
- 16:35[SPEAKER_05]: You know what I'm saying?
- 16:36[SPEAKER_05]: So sometimes we can, we can revert back to all securities, but we try to put them in new spaces.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_05]: You see what I'm saying?
- 16:47[SPEAKER_05]: So a lot of times, man, we want our old work
- 16:52[SPEAKER_05]: to convert over into the new space, and it doesn't happen all the time.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_05]: You know what I'm saying?
- 16:58[SPEAKER_05]: Even though...
- 16:59[SPEAKER_05]: to us, it makes sense.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_05]: But again, as this platform grows, as the space grows, as the attention grows, as the visibility grows, we're going to have to be intentional about creating new securities around making sure, man, this is just what we're doing.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_05]: No, don't get caught up on who we're doing it with.
- 17:23[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_05]: as much as understanding the essence of me trying to intentionally make you secure or keep you secure or why I'm what's going on.
- 17:35[SPEAKER_07]: You guys, you know, I really haven't, I haven't been great in that space in the whole two years because
- 17:45[SPEAKER_07]: I've always been used to doing it a way that I wanna do it.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_07]: So when they come to really having to communicate in the new space like you were saying earlier, I've sucked at it because I just want you to trust me without really explaining things or bringing you.
- 18:04[SPEAKER_07]: She has a, she's so big on,
- 18:09[SPEAKER_07]: not saying we, everything.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_07]: I'm being on the tube, but I separated when it's me doing my thing.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_07]: You know what I'm saying?
- 18:20[SPEAKER_07]: I, you know what I'm saying?
- 18:30[SPEAKER_07]: And I just recently really started
- 18:37[SPEAKER_07]: all of that you, I'm Fender, that's Fender Seas.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_07]: So I've actually sucked at that, you know, I'm starting to see myself in real life where I need to get better to make sure she's included for their security or inviting her and just make sure it automatically happens in
- 19:06[SPEAKER_02]: like it's scripted.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_07]: I'm learning to really let it get in my heart.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_07]: So it's natural for you.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, let it let it start being natural like I like that baby like not a man I told you you know I'm saying the night getting frustrated on myself I don't I don't suck that that but I don't suck that it but Joty the book tells us man that how can two walk together and let's say agree.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_05]: And sometimes we get ego-tistical about the agreement because we want them to
- 19:35[SPEAKER_05]: all the time agree with us instead of instead of building that bridge and say like okay how do I create a space for a green and sometimes that's where our vulnerability is needed most it's saying we are going into this new space yeah not I'm going into this new space how do I and I was telling y'all even about the interview
- 20:06[SPEAKER_00]: being part of the father figure movement with F2 of Parallel.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_00]: They're all about empowering encouraging and uplifting because it's not about being perfect.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_00]: It's about being present.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_00]: Reggie George is the founder and creator of F2 of Parallel Reggie such a pleasure to have you here on Texas today.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_05]: This is a pleasure being here.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_05]: I appreciate you guys.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_00]: So tell us how did this brand get started?
- 20:27[SPEAKER_05]: Um, it actually got started through a little bit of adversity in 2019 of one of my girls was stabbed with a pair of scissors at school, um, essentially almost killing her, um, and she spent
- 20:43[SPEAKER_05]: Almost three months in the hospital, but for me to conquer the demons of anger, the demons of revenge, I had to really do some soul search and figure out, like, okay, why would a boy do this?
- 20:58[SPEAKER_05]: And as we were going through the legal proceedings, I was just prompted every time we were there to look down at his side of the courtroom and I saw a lack of father figure as a lack of male representation.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_05]: But I know nothing farther figure exists without my wife and my kids.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_05]: You know what I'm saying?
- 21:18[SPEAKER_05]: But in the new space, I have to go back and say, listen, let me explain what was edited out, what was done in order to make you secure.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_08]: in this new space because the conversations are a pair of them out like they're they're in necessity, more so now than ever, because there are two versions of me with my family when it comes to activity.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_08]: And now
- 21:48[SPEAKER_08]: the conversations.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_08]: I think if I'm more intentional with expressing like, hey, I'm going to do this.
- 21:55[SPEAKER_08]: This is going on.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_08]: I'm such a such date.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_08]: You're more than welcome to be there.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_08]: Let me know so I can plan accordingly.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_08]: And let's do this.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_08]: Let's do that.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_08]: I don't have a problem with that when we go into.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_08]: It's almost like there's a sector of activities in my mind that we, we doing this, other things, um, and she's expressed in the last year or so.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_08]: Like, hey, I noticed when certain things hit the table, you automatically, it's you.
- 22:24[SPEAKER_08]: I had to sit on and unpacked it.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_08]: Like, why am I like that about that?
- 22:28[SPEAKER_08]: Like, if I, if I shoot the Houston, or if I shoot to my home town,
- 22:34[SPEAKER_08]: I'd be like, hey, I'm shooting to the crib this weekend to take care of this, this and this, I'll be straight on back.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_08]: She don't have a problem with that, but she ultimately ended up asking, like, hey, I noticed whenever you go into these two places, you're kind of like, hey, I'm going I'll be back.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_08]: Let me go knock this out.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_08]: And after I thought about it, I know exactly why I did that.
- 22:54[SPEAKER_08]: It's not, it's not, oh, my plans don't include you.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_08]: is just that I'm more productive in those places because of what I'm headed there to do.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_08]: I'm conditioned in my mind.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_08]: I'm a protector naturally.
- 23:08[SPEAKER_08]: When my family around, like I told y'all earlier, if me and my wife walking through the mall, I'm not shopping.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_08]: I'm scanning exits.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_08]: I'm looking and counting bodies and heads and people.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_08]: It's the same.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_08]: So if I'm going to Houston to take care of some beers, it's going from going to the crib to go take care of some beers.
- 23:24[SPEAKER_08]: If you hear, if the kids are here, have they eaten or they bored or they sit around too much?
- 23:30[SPEAKER_08]: Am I engaged with them enough?
- 23:31[SPEAKER_08]: Am I neglecting my family?
- 23:33[SPEAKER_08]: My wife and my kids and I'm not doing enough here.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_08]: So because I'm worried about all these other factors to make sure this is a certain type of outing journey trip or visit for y'all,
- 23:45[SPEAKER_08]: my level of productivity has to go down.
- 23:48[SPEAKER_08]: So she met me after we had that conversation.
- 23:51[SPEAKER_08]: I was like, hey, even with Houston, she was like, listen, I have relatives and family in Houston as well.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_08]: If we go down on a Friday, I have no problem with you saying, hey, we go to my family house Friday.
- 24:03[SPEAKER_08]: You can leave me in the kids there.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_08]: Go take care of everything, you need to.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_08]: She was like, you didn't got to come back to a Sunday.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_08]: We end the same city though, we write there.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_08]: So even if you like, I got that knocked out.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_08]: I got some, you slide over here, where it's by the time you close a business and we weigh back home, then now you still don't have anything to do with us anyway, because we're not into vicinity.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_08]: But if whatever you got going on, go over to the next day or to the night or whatever the case is,
- 24:33[SPEAKER_08]: You don't have to worry about all of those things.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_08]: I wouldn't know she felt that way because if we didn't have that conversation but I do have family will go to somewhere.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_08]: I got cousins up pulling up and dropped a wife out of it to family house with the aunties and they gone on roll like that.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_08]: If you can't win me,
- 24:53[SPEAKER_08]: you right here with me like we we dipping like leaving dumping my wife of while I'm out of town that's not a thing for me.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_08]: So that's why I'm going out of town to take care of business.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_08]: I feel like if you're going with me, I'm not going to get my business taken care of because I don't know how to just dump you off somewhere in the end.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_04]: That's that's everything a lot of that shouldn't be a surprise because the event last night
- 25:20[SPEAKER_04]: because she wanted to go, but her other motive was also to help me because I always be one man band and stuff.
- 25:26[SPEAKER_04]: There.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_04]: And I didn't look at it like that initially, and not like she was going to be in a way.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_04]: Not in the way, but I knew I wouldn't be a 10th of tour and we got there and I got out the car and I went for her to get out the car.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_04]: Not because I was opening the door.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_04]: We, that wasn't the thing.
- 25:50[SPEAKER_04]: She was like, um, and you know what?
- 25:54[SPEAKER_04]: Let me, let me pull that back because that would solve the right there.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_04]: If my mind wasn't moving so fast and I was in pocket, like I suppose it'd be, I would have run around.
- 26:03[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I opened the door.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_04]: I was still a little annoyed from how it started.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_04]: But I got out and I'm walking to the venue and I'm looking
- 26:15[SPEAKER_04]: Like, what's going on?
- 26:16[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah.
- 26:18[SPEAKER_04]: She was actually starting to get stuff out of the back of the car, like the back door, because I couldn't see on the other side of what's going on.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_04]: She was like, are we unloading?
- 26:27[SPEAKER_04]: I was like, now we need to go inside and look at it first.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_04]: So me communicating what's going on in my head kind of with the song that me actually opened the door like I was That revelation on camera's fantastic That would have solved that too, but we get inside and I get into motion like y'all saw a little bit when you get here Like I is kind of hard to have a conversation with me I don't know yeah, but I promised I probably didn't know she was something yeah, so I'm in there And she's trying to help and It clicked out like hey
- 27:01[SPEAKER_04]: was going on in my head.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_04]: I can't stop the explained right now.
- 27:03[SPEAKER_04]: I'm thinking about 30 things that I can't tell you right now.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_04]: When it makes sense, I'll tell you, but I don't want you to feel like I'm ignoring.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_04]: You should just like, oh, okay, yeah.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_04]: Before I probably would add to the side of C, that this will be, why people up?
- 27:20[SPEAKER_04]: That's why I kind of be by myself, but it was a good slow down and pause to understand that number one she was dead to be helpful.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_04]: She wasn't dead to see anything was going on.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_04]: And my point is, I'm guilty of assuming the wife there or even if the conversation happened standing on the surface level of the, well, I'm just going to, but digging a little deeper, she was actually trying to partner with me on this thing.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_04]: and maybe if I had extended that branch a little earlier, we'd been a better rhythm, but it was a good opportunity to create a new rhythm for that.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_04]: But that was definitely, we might have it some moments lately that don't seem like our shattering, but if you put enough ripples together, you know,
- 28:11[SPEAKER_04]: The tsunami happens.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_08]: That's a question about that.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_08]: To out to the everybody because I noticed it's a recurrent thing as well.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_08]: Deja's doing the death.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_08]: We will not ask for help.
- 28:26[SPEAKER_08]: We will not ask for assistance.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_08]: So, just like he just said, he, he, he, he a consistent one-man ban, all the resources in the world hands on that everywhere.
- 28:37[SPEAKER_08]: We're so conditioned to not bother or not impose upon, not in fringe upon and vice versa.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_08]: I want to throw myself into mix because I don't know what the move or the groove is.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_08]: Like, hey,
- 28:51[SPEAKER_08]: I simple conversation.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_08]: Hey man.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_08]: No, you got the neat thing coming up, man.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_08]: I grab a ticket.
- 28:56[SPEAKER_08]: I can slide in there with you and we go help set up, etc., etc., etc., so do y'all find it difficult.
- 29:04[SPEAKER_08]: Um, because I, man code, going to be man code forever, like men, or, or talk to be self-sufficient to a fault, right, is that a struggle for you?
- 29:15[SPEAKER_08]: Do you, are you coming into an era of, man, I could say this out loud and it be received properly, or, nah, nah, I, I know so and so it helped me, but I'm a muscle through it.
- 29:28[SPEAKER_08]: I ain't gonna bother.
- 29:29[SPEAKER_08]: Like, which, which side of the coin you find yourself defaulting to, naturally?
- 29:35[SPEAKER_05]: But for me, I think it's, and everybody's describing it.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_05]: See sometimes, man, when you and your lane, you really just get tunnel vision.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_05]: So it's not necessarily that you won't ask for help.
- 29:47[SPEAKER_05]: It's just like me, you so locked in on the target that I think a lot of times you're not even thinking to ask for help.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_05]: Or again, because we didn't all said it, and I've been victim of it.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_05]: People going always said,
- 30:03[SPEAKER_05]: And you, and you truly sometimes may, I know for me, I didn't think about it, man.
- 30:08[SPEAKER_05]: I just, I like the end of what I needed to do and, and bro, I just, I just wanted to get it done.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_05]: And that's it.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_05]: And now, if it's something that I can't do on my own.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_05]: Um, I don't think I think, man, a long time ago, bro, I, I kind of swallow that pride.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_05]: Um, when it's something that I can't do on my own.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_05]: But when there's something in my head where I think like it might just take me a little longer if I go on my own.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_05]: Um, I think it's just a ton of vision of a thing.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_05]: I think it's just sometimes, especially the entrepreneur part of the creative part, man.
- 30:44[SPEAKER_05]: Sometimes, and I just get so locked in and I'm like, man, I'm not even really thinking about asking for no help.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_05]: And so somebody say, like, bro, why are you then waiting to hit me and tell me to help me?
- 30:55[SPEAKER_07]: That makes sense.
- 30:56[SPEAKER_07]: I can get ton of vision.
- 30:59[SPEAKER_07]: One thing, I do the, I'm gonna call, I'm gonna ask.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_07]: Real child, good.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_07]: And what I called it years ago because I was conditioned to have a victim mass hit, ain't nobody gonna help, ain't nobody gonna help, ain't nobody gonna help.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_07]: I started believing it, right?
- 31:15[SPEAKER_07]: But when I started like a point of reference, calling in hate, like when I called bro, that's him, bro can I, my mind tells me, bro don't even know, I'm from the car.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_07]: like, once I started doing it, it's like, it's like boosted my faith when it coming my relationship with the king.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_07]: Like why am I going to say he's not going or I ain't going never, but then when I started asking, I started receiving when I started calling and then it was like, yeah bro, let's win.
- 31:43[SPEAKER_01]: Hmm, we know what, hey, I get it, we got it easy, yeah.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_07]: And then on the other side of that was, I was always the one waiting for somebody in the car.
- 31:55[SPEAKER_07]: I'm available, I know he don't create another people like me who are available to me.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_07]: So that was the, yeah, I can get turn of vision, but I also realized, man, just calm, yeah, yeah.
- 32:06[SPEAKER_05]: 100% of them.
- 32:08[SPEAKER_05]: And it make a lot of sense, bro,
- 32:12[SPEAKER_05]: we make small things big by having that blockage of saying like bro, just reach out.
- 32:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 32:19[SPEAKER_05]: You know what I'm saying?
- 32:19[SPEAKER_05]: Because even when when J. T reached out to me, I was more inspired.
- 32:28[SPEAKER_05]: He'll do that.
- 32:28[SPEAKER_05]: I was about.
- 32:30[SPEAKER_05]: You know what I'm saying?
- 32:31[SPEAKER_04]: I'll see what he'll do that to you, man.
- 32:34[SPEAKER_05]: I almost want to ask him like, bro, why are you doing all one hogs in the end on the end, bro?
- 32:41[SPEAKER_05]: I got to put some dip on the chin, you know, so I know them, y'all see them, so I got to dip on there.
- 32:48[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I let's, let's show that they had a, had a guess at his soul last night, AJ McQueen, dope artist, very, um,
- 33:01[SPEAKER_04]: different think of like a thought leader in his space and he said one thing that caught me even as I'm trying to focus on doing my job he was like how often do we take how often do we assess our actual capacity as people how often do we assess our capacity as men
- 33:21[SPEAKER_04]: And this conversation and connecting the dots with me is sometimes I don't think to ask for help because I've always done a thing But I haven't necessarily been doing all of these things at the same time.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, right?
- 33:35[SPEAKER_04]: And and entrepreneurship I want to get to a opinion on it because I'm still new especially compared to y'all And in terms of entrepreneurship being a lifestyle not just a hobby Everything was very structuring corporate.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_04]: I had a lot to do but it was
- 33:52[SPEAKER_04]: like within the same discipline.
- 33:54[SPEAKER_04]: I didn't move around a lot.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_04]: I stayed in one discipline and I grew when I excelled in that discipline.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_04]: So it was all building upon the other thing.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_04]: I learned business by being in rooms with other leaders in that corporation, but having a responsibility of all of this, man, sometimes I get overwhelmed in this space because I'm like, I'll figure out
- 34:19[SPEAKER_04]: Like, I literally know how to do too many things right now for my own good, right?
- 34:24[SPEAKER_04]: Like, just in the film space, this stuff that I should be farming, now I should be, but my mind goes to, no, you can figure it out.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_04]: But I'm at a point now where it's like, I don't have the capacity, and it's not, not having capacity is not weakness.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_04]: You're full, like you can't,
- 34:48[SPEAKER_04]: No matter how much gas you want to put in your car, it stops.
- 34:52[SPEAKER_04]: You can't keep it hooked to the tank and drive indefinitely.
- 34:56[SPEAKER_04]: So, how your man is that in entrepreneurship or it has that even been a thought in terms of, like, have you ever thought about your, do I have the capacity to do this?
- 35:05[SPEAKER_04]: I always think, can I do this?
- 35:07[SPEAKER_05]: Bro, I'm gonna tell you man, and it's crazy that you brought that up.
- 35:11[SPEAKER_05]: So, you know, me own in barbershops and salons for so long.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_05]: I always had the capacity to grow out in that space, man, my capacity was always enlarging in the space, but after coming out the hospital with Cambro, it's the first time that I really ever acknowledge, like, man, you don't have the capacity to do that no more.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_05]: And entrepreneurship is really just gauging the capacity for the space that you might be in.
- 35:51[SPEAKER_05]: And I'm saying, and I just received a prophetic word and on Wednesday and Bible study.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_05]: And the prophecy is like man, your territories about to grow.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_05]: But,
- 36:08[SPEAKER_05]: two things you're going to need, you're going to need a major manufacturer and you're going to need a team.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_05]: And see, sometimes, man, that's what we don't understand is capacity is not just about our individual capacity.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_05]: It's about saying, like, listen, my capacity, I'm full, but now I need to delegate.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_05]: Now I need to, now I need to create a team.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_05]: I need to, I need to, I need to say, not even that I need some help.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_05]: I just need five people in the same space doing the individual job.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_05]: See, now we don't even feel like help.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_05]: It just feel like listen, man, I coming and see, that's the thing about corporate.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_05]: That's all corporate is.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_05]: Corporate is just going into a space and having a bunch of individuals doing the individual job.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_05]: And you create that same thing in entrepreneurship, but a lot of times we get this guy complex like we suppose to always do it by ourselves.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_04]: I don't like this.
- 37:08[SPEAKER_04]: You said it's a god complex.
- 37:10[SPEAKER_04]: That's what I think.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_05]: That's what that is.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_02]: Because again, when you when you try to it's good, when you try to take a Lord type load, it's always going to be too heavy.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_05]: It's always going to be too heavy.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_02]: I hear you on that because because
- 37:36[SPEAKER_08]: My approach is I never assessed it because telling myself it can't be done wasn't an option as crazy as that sound as cliche as that sounds Just like you said the gas tank and only whole so much getting but In my mind We're gonna burn this gas so I can put some more in it, but then we get into the other side of this this route meaning
- 38:05[SPEAKER_08]: If I have 20 things that I need to do and need to get done, if I gotta do five of them simultaneously, if I gotta talk to you while I'm on this laptop, while I'm on this speaker phone on the phone, inside of this conference.
- 38:19[SPEAKER_08]: So if I'm in this conference, pushing this through on this internet and I'm sitting in the room for the people that demand and command my attention as well, if I can do three of those per two hours, I'm gonna get all 20 of the things done at the end of the day.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_08]: Is that the right or the effective way to do it absolutely not, but because I've convinced myself that there's no, no available, there's no return, there's no short coming, there's no defeat.
- 38:46[SPEAKER_08]: Now, it's kind of productive though, because again, all I have to show for that is looking up and realizing I'm the business I've ever seen myself being my entire life.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_08]: So much so that.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_08]: Yes to everything.

- 39:36[SPEAKER_08]: So now I'm currently reconditioning my thought process.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_08]: saying no to a thing, does it mean that I'm being complacent or lazy or settling even?
- 39:48[SPEAKER_08]: It just means that I have to assess the capacity that I have available.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_08]: Way that thing versus what I'm doing right now, net present value.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_08]: If I actually do that thing, which one of these things matter the most?
- 40:01[SPEAKER_08]: Which one of these things are going to provide the most value to what the end goal is?
- 40:05[SPEAKER_05]: or RJ Black, you look at basals, you look at Bill Walden, you look at Warren Buffett, see sometimes, and I'm not saying we guilty it is, see sometimes the poverty mindset has a stuck in the building and growing.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_08]: That's my problem.
- 40:24[SPEAKER_05]: You dig when I'm just saying, so when you building and growing, man, it ain't that wrong with taking on all of them tasking.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_05]: But if you know you graduated to the scale phase of things,
- 40:35[SPEAKER_05]: you got to operate again.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_05]: Basos had to build Amazon.
- 40:39[SPEAKER_05]: We had to build Apple and Microsoft.
- 40:42[SPEAKER_05]: All those things had to be built.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 40:45[SPEAKER_05]: And I'm pretty sure those individuals took on a lot of that load in the building phase.
- 40:50[SPEAKER_05]: But when they said, man, it's time to scale.
- 40:54[SPEAKER_05]: Bro, now you have to surround yourself with the team of other individuals who understand that we scale.
- 41:03[SPEAKER_08]: My struggle.
- 41:04[SPEAKER_08]: I'm right there with you just said, I have an impoverished mindset when it comes to spending money even.
- 41:12[SPEAKER_08]: like my wife and I listen, you need to buy that, I'm not, I'm not spinning that on that, so that's a good words you just drop right there.
- 41:21[SPEAKER_07]: My uh, my capacity is based on my judo, what makes me happy and there has to I know me.
- 41:30[SPEAKER_07]: If I overstep and even though I know he can and he will enlarge my territory, there are certain things that is not healthy for me.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_07]: I could store our skill and then lose myself in them saying so anytime I like doing this entrepreneur thing, I just make sure my capacity is what's making me.
- 41:53[SPEAKER_07]: a lot of me to continue to be me, you know what I'm saying, but I do love growing and learning.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_07]: I was just talking about the credit stuff and because I'm on a C stuff, you know what I'm saying?
- 42:06[SPEAKER_07]: I don't want to stress myself to the point of where I don't know what I'm chasing normal.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_07]: I don't allow sight of what's really important because they bag, man, listen.
- 42:18[SPEAKER_07]: when he blessed me during COVID, I remember getting off a lab and saying, who, who you don't turn the two?
- 42:29[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I remember it and the territory was expanding.
- 42:35[SPEAKER_07]: But I agree that I've learned that delegating is important.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_07]: Moses couldn't do what he done without Aaron.
- 42:42[SPEAKER_07]: You got to, you got to have to other people because when I was cheating, when I was affiliated,
- 42:50[SPEAKER_07]: There was different positions.
- 42:54[SPEAKER_07]: You know, and I don't transfer that.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_07]: That was the only thing that taught me some form of, of a business, right?
- 43:00[SPEAKER_07]: The time.
- 43:00[SPEAKER_07]: You know what I'm saying?
- 43:01[SPEAKER_07]: So I do know, within what I do now, you need, there's somebody that they do administrative work.
- 43:08[SPEAKER_07]: I can't do administrative work.
- 43:09[SPEAKER_07]: I'm not creative.
- 43:11[SPEAKER_07]: I don't have the eye, like D. John, it could be heavier on me in my capacity because sometimes I want to do everything.
- 43:18[SPEAKER_07]: So if I might not move his face, it's me, you know what I'm saying?
- 43:22[SPEAKER_07]: I've come to find out that when the most I started enlarging that territory and you start seeing the capacity is getting bigger, it's nothing better than seeing that you better together.
- 43:36[SPEAKER_05]: And bro, that's where purpose always has to come into play.
- 43:42[SPEAKER_05]: See a lot of times.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_05]: like you say you can lose yourself when the bag becomes the purpose because even even when even when God aligns you with your purpose and then those those those windows of heaven starting open up and you start to get those connections you'll start to you'll start to think that the bag was the purpose like the the bag is a byproduct and and a lot of times bro even for me
- 44:12[SPEAKER_05]: You, you have to be able to decide for like, man, that the, am I operating in my gifts and my operating out of survival and my operating out of, you know, just trying to provide right now, or am I lying with my purpose?
- 44:27[SPEAKER_05]: So a lot of times, and I love that you, you've joy, even in the valley, you're going to get joy out of being a line with your purpose.
- 44:38[SPEAKER_05]: Because again,
- 44:40[SPEAKER_05]: You know why you in the valley.
- 44:43[SPEAKER_05]: I know why I'm in this valley because this is where I'm not to get super biblical, but even with the three Hebrew words like man listen, I'm I'm looking forward to getting in this fire Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm looking like man listen man because this is this is what we are purpose to do
- 45:05[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, and then then you have then you have the most I get in there with you and now you like okay, man I know what this thing is about even in the valley even in the fire even the shit in the shadow of death I'm still finding joy and being alive with my purpose of Prejury it What is it?
- 45:32[SPEAKER_02]: We talked a lot about
- 45:36[SPEAKER_04]: What it would it feels like for us to be aligned in our individual purposes for our purposes to collectively be aligned that we know and what we believe and see as the increase coming.
- 45:47[SPEAKER_04]: One of my constant prayers as of late is God, let me stool with this thing, right?
- 45:53[SPEAKER_05]: Amen.
- 45:54[SPEAKER_04]: Let me stool with this thing, right, man.
- 45:56[SPEAKER_04]: What does it look like for y'all?
- 45:58[SPEAKER_04]: Is that a concern?
- 45:58[SPEAKER_04]: Sounds like it's a concern or a conscious thought.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_04]: When everything hits the way that we believe it's going to go individually, collectively, what a story didn't get well, look like for y'all.
- 46:12[SPEAKER_05]: Man, and I just got a vision, and I hate to just keep taking our book.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_05]: So it's a military mindset, man.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_05]: If you got the Navy, the Marines, the Army, the Air Force, it's the military.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_05]: It's like, man, yeah, we all signed up in different areas and have different purposes
- 46:34[SPEAKER_05]: But when we put those things together, man, we can conquer, take over this plot of land, or we can take over this area, we can do these things, but then do it in different ways.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_05]: You know what I'm saying?
- 46:50[SPEAKER_05]: You're going to do it by air, you're going to do it by land, you might be in tank, I might be in the sea, but it's all saying, like, okay, how do we conquer this common thing, you know what I'm saying?
- 47:01[SPEAKER_05]: And that's what I love about,
- 47:03[SPEAKER_05]: even where the space is now, man, is we can see four different visions coming to a common agreement and saying, man, we about to do a thing.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_08]: Listen, I'm almost a fan on this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this, this,
- 47:32[SPEAKER_08]: Pressing for me or uncertainty was looming, you know what I mean as far as a fork in the road.
- 47:40[SPEAKER_08]: Like often explain life to people in youngsters when I talk to them, life is built on fortune the road.
- 47:45[SPEAKER_08]: There's a certain path that you you meant to take or day in to take and you supposed to take the right and you take the left that's fine.
- 47:53[SPEAKER_08]: You don't love right left right left right your way, but you steal ultimately don't end up.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_08]: where you supposed to end up dead veer that was a lesson there that you supposed to bring back to this round.
- 48:04[SPEAKER_08]: So because the lessons, I have so many veers throughout the path and the route that I've been on that it just gave me a plethora if you will of lessons to share and bring along with me.
- 48:18[SPEAKER_08]: That's all my current path that I'm on.
- 48:20[SPEAKER_08]: So.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_08]: like D.J.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_08]: and say, I'm no longer in the space of, man, that's funny how.
- 48:26[SPEAKER_08]: Or boy, look at the coincidence, there are no coincidences.
- 48:30[SPEAKER_08]: And that's no longer a cliche for me because of what's happening and how it's happening and the people that are constantly being brought in my lives, you know what I mean?
- 48:39[SPEAKER_08]: In my life, to where now it's, it's,
- 48:43[SPEAKER_08]: I'm wearing supposed to be like to your point.
- 48:46[SPEAKER_08]: One of my lifelong expectations was where's the joy in it?
- 48:53[SPEAKER_08]: You know what I mean?
- 48:55[SPEAKER_08]: Like I was a student athlete and people used to come to me talking to me about my stats.
- 49:01[SPEAKER_08]: I didn't know my stats and I didn't want to hear it.
- 49:04[SPEAKER_08]: That's not why I'm here.
- 49:05[SPEAKER_08]: I've never been a stat guy, a stat reader.
- 49:09[SPEAKER_08]: Like when guys sit around and they talk stats
- 49:14[SPEAKER_08]: don't speak to me whatsoever.
- 49:16[SPEAKER_08]: I don't care.
- 49:16[SPEAKER_08]: Good.
- 49:18[SPEAKER_08]: Man, you know, he dropped the, I don't care.
- 49:20[SPEAKER_08]: That's not my thing.
- 49:20[SPEAKER_08]: That's not what motivates me.
- 49:22[SPEAKER_08]: Is this fun?
- 49:23[SPEAKER_08]: Is it enjoyable?
- 49:24[SPEAKER_08]: Is this my joy?
- 49:25[SPEAKER_08]: Is this my purpose?
- 49:26[SPEAKER_08]: This why I'm here?
- 49:28[SPEAKER_08]: I have to, I have to stay rooted in why I'm doing a thing that way no matter what happens.
- 49:35[SPEAKER_08]: When, when, when, when turmoil hit, if you're out of touch with why you're doing it, man, you're going to stop doing it or again, if this is my goal in this thing.
- 49:47[SPEAKER_08]: How do I know if I'm off the path if I don't know what where I'm trying to go?
- 49:53[SPEAKER_08]: So if I jump in the corner, I just take off driving.
- 49:55[SPEAKER_08]: I can get from here to Cowboy Stadium, which is less than a mile from here.
- 49:59[SPEAKER_08]: If I don't know that I'm actually trying to go to Plano and I stop right there.
- 50:06[SPEAKER_08]: I could convince myself that job where you're done.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_08]: But that's not even where you were headed though.
- 50:12[SPEAKER_08]: Why are you here and you headed all the other hour of the opposite direction?
- 50:18[SPEAKER_08]: So because I have to keep in sight in my mind, focus on this one I'm going with this day.
- 50:24[SPEAKER_08]: So if on this path, prime example, platform taking off right now.
- 50:30[SPEAKER_08]: There are conversations being dropped in our labs about hey, you can do this, you can do this, you can structure, y'all can adjust, you can move this.
- 50:41[SPEAKER_08]: It's not aligning with the long term goal or the direction.
- 50:47[SPEAKER_08]: So it's like, man, I really appreciate you thinking enough to share that, but that's not it.
- 50:53[SPEAKER_08]: Maybe perhaps something else.
- 50:55[SPEAKER_08]: Brilliant for this, but for this, it's just that glove don't fit.
- 51:01[SPEAKER_07]: That's important to do that to stay a ground on a vision that he gave.
- 51:07[SPEAKER_07]: With the stewardship, I'm gonna go with a,
- 51:11[SPEAKER_07]: because like you were saying, the dream now, like all of that's a part of the school issue, especially when you step into a new thing and you try to navigate and you're going in and in a new territory, a mistake's going to be made, but that's all a part of the stewardship.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_07]: By natural, bad financial decisions may be made, but that's how the part of the stewardship part of the ship is part of the ship.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_07]: All of this is just a part of a stewarding that would stand online with their purpose and making sure you continue to go forward on what it was that you saw.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_07]: I feel like that's probably the biggest key to every piece of success I've had.
- 51:51[SPEAKER_07]: You know what I'm saying?
- 51:52[SPEAKER_07]: Especially when it comes to stewarding, I stay the course.
- 51:57[SPEAKER_07]: and just hearing it.
- 52:01[SPEAKER_07]: But I didn't, I wouldn't know that without making the mistakes.
- 52:04[SPEAKER_07]: I would.
- 52:05[SPEAKER_07]: Right.
- 52:05[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 52:05[SPEAKER_07]: Sorry.
- 52:06[SPEAKER_07]: Good.
- 52:06[SPEAKER_01]: That's good.
- 52:07[SPEAKER_04]: I remember a poem from school that talked about two past the votes in the yellow wood.
- 52:15[SPEAKER_04]: One was much traveling.
- 52:17[SPEAKER_04]: One was less traveling than taking the one that's traveling made all the difference.
- 52:21[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm learning to be confident in
- 52:29[SPEAKER_04]: the the the journey not necessarily having the map no one where I want to go and know who's taking taking me there who'll take us there um I'm cool with it man I'm glad to be on the journey with with other brothers that don't feel the same way I feel about everything
- 52:52[SPEAKER_04]: but everything that we feel the same about all the things that matter.
- 52:55[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 52:55[SPEAKER_04]: Who?
- 52:56[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, sir.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_04]: I draw.
- 52:58[SPEAKER_06]: You did say that with this, sir.
- 53:00[SPEAKER_06]: That's my, that's off the door.
- 53:01[SPEAKER_06]: That road.
- 53:02[SPEAKER_06]: He wrote that there.
- 53:03[SPEAKER_06]: He wrote that there.
- 53:04[SPEAKER_06]: Well, next time I'm going to finish.
- 53:06[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 53:07[SPEAKER_04]: We can find it.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_04]: You can find it.
- 53:09[SPEAKER_04]: I got a hundred push-ups.
- 53:10[SPEAKER_04]: I've got to put it before you're the man.
- 53:13[SPEAKER_04]: I'm a kill on the other side.
- 53:16[SPEAKER_04]: I'm a kill on the other side.
- 53:18[SPEAKER_06]: I'm a kill on the other side.
- 53:19[SPEAKER_06]: I'm a kill on the other side.
- 53:20[SPEAKER_04]: I'm a kill on the other side.
- 53:21[SPEAKER_04]: I'm a kill on the other side.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a kill on the other side.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a kill on the other side.
- 53:26[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a kill on the other side.
- 53:28[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a kill on the other side.
- 53:28[SPEAKER_01]: I'm a kill on the other side.
- 53:29[SPEAKER_08]: I'm a kill on the other side.
- 53:30[SPEAKER_08]: I'm a kill on the other side.
- 53:30[SPEAKER_08]: I'm a kill on the other side.
- 53:31[SPEAKER_08]: I'm a kill on the other side.
- 53:32[SPEAKER_08]: I'm a kill on the other side.
- 53:34[SPEAKER_08]: I'm a kill on the other side.
- 53:36[SPEAKER_08]: I'm a kill on the other side.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_08]: I'm a kill on the other side.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_08]: I'm actively listening, speaking, just like you said.
- 53:43[SPEAKER_08]: I do that a lot too.
- 53:45[SPEAKER_08]: You're the first to drop it on me in the moment.
- 53:47[SPEAKER_08]: And he'd be like, oh, I just felt that.
- 53:50[SPEAKER_08]: I'm for the get this out.
- 53:51[SPEAKER_08]: This for me, but if it helped you out, it you go.
- 53:54[SPEAKER_08]: Well, like the he ate it, it go.
- 53:57[SPEAKER_05]: Not that I was definitely going to Joe T. My brother.
- 53:59[SPEAKER_07]: I just, everybody's so present.
- 54:01[SPEAKER_07]: That's how I was going to say, you could just tell like we present in the home.
- 54:04[SPEAKER_05]: And bro, that's the only way.
- 54:06[SPEAKER_05]: That's the only way to really
- 54:08[SPEAKER_05]: I'm really consumed a new space, you know what I'm saying?
- 54:13[SPEAKER_05]: And I tell brother's all the time, even about having kids, man, you know, the father figure space cast wants you to give them a role, man, like, bro, there's nobody that can tell you how to parent your kids.
- 54:24[SPEAKER_05]: I can give you, I can give you some markers and some, and some, and some, exist to avoid.
- 54:30[SPEAKER_05]: But at the end of the day, man, listen, every child is new.
- 54:34[SPEAKER_05]: Every child is unique, every marriage.
- 54:38[SPEAKER_05]: We can give you all the tips in the world, but you have to be married to your wife.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_05]: You know what I'm saying?
- 54:44[SPEAKER_05]: And she has to be married to you.
- 54:46[SPEAKER_05]: That's really, really.
- 54:47[SPEAKER_05]: You know what I'm saying?
- 54:48[SPEAKER_05]: And we can give, I promise we can give you all the nuggets in the world.
- 54:51[SPEAKER_05]: You all the tips in the world.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_05]: and man, a hundred percent of might be wrong for your mayor.
- 54:57[SPEAKER_05]: From who?
- 54:58[SPEAKER_05]: You know what I'm saying?
- 54:59[SPEAKER_05]: And that's the thing about being present as a parent, as a husband, as a man, as a business owner, man.
- 55:07[SPEAKER_05]: Like that's the only way that you can really consume whatever environment you mean.
- 55:11[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, that's fair.
- 55:13[SPEAKER_08]: That's a fact because the three boys at my house require three different parents.
- 55:17[SPEAKER_08]: Come on, bro.
- 55:18[SPEAKER_08]: Other of them still not agree.
- 55:19[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
- 55:39[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, and my girls don't do nothing the same on the floor.
- 55:43[SPEAKER_05]: They don't if you tell me one I'm got a little attitude or one of them did it.
- 55:46[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know exactly what you're talking about.
- 55:47[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, but if you bond the link them together You're doing one of them a disservice.
- 55:52[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, because because again, I know because I listen until they were about six
- 55:59[SPEAKER_05]: I compare and I'm pretty much the same right now but after that, I mean I just too keen to look a like.
- 56:05[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 56:09[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 56:09[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 56:09[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.
- 56:09[SPEAKER_05]: There's no.
- 56:10[SPEAKER_04]: That's a fan.
- 56:13[SPEAKER_04]: No.
- 56:14[SPEAKER_04]: No.
- 56:14[SPEAKER_04]: No.
- 56:14[SPEAKER_04]: No.
- 56:14[SPEAKER_04]: No.
- 56:14[SPEAKER_04]: No.
- 56:14[SPEAKER_04]: No.
- 56:14[SPEAKER_04]: No.
- 56:15[SPEAKER_04]: No.
- 56:15[SPEAKER_04]: No.
- 56:15[SPEAKER_04]: No.
- 56:15[SPEAKER_04]: No.
- 56:15[SPEAKER_04]: No.
- 56:15[SPEAKER_04]: No.
- 56:15[SPEAKER_04]: No.
- 56:15[SPEAKER_04]: No.
- 56:16[UNKNOWN]: No.
- 56:16[SPEAKER_04]: because I want to be accused of having them scripted.
- 56:19[SPEAKER_04]: You know, I was like, I'm right.
- 56:20[SPEAKER_04]: I'm right.
- 56:20[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to sit all the way up.
- 56:23[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to sit all the way up.
- 56:23[SPEAKER_05]: Sit all the way up.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_05]: And that thing brought in that plan.
- 56:26[SPEAKER_05]: Man, again, man, better together, bro, I think this is going to be a super dope platform, a super, super dope informative space.
- 56:38[SPEAKER_05]: You know what I'm saying, man, I hope,
- 56:40[SPEAKER_05]: our audience I hope the the viewers I hope everybody interact with this thing but also get some from it man.
- 56:47[SPEAKER_05]: The two conversations have been have been extremely rich, extremely helpful man and inspirational not just to an audience but to us man.
- 57:00[SPEAKER_05]: So again this is really what better together looks like.
- 57:06[SPEAKER_04]: You know, just somehow keeping on the way out, man, this is not intended to be a first of them off series.
- 57:11[SPEAKER_04]: It just happened like that.
- 57:14[SPEAKER_04]: We jumped into a space.
- 57:16[SPEAKER_04]: Man, man, that had been legally in here, but that's, you know, a documentation says that today we suppose to be in here.
- 57:23[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 57:23[SPEAKER_04]: So we can, we can get rolling.
- 57:25[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, no.
- 57:27[SPEAKER_08]: That happened.
- 57:28[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 57:28[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 57:29[SPEAKER_08]: Like, like, I'm being on excellence and, and, and.
