- 6:15[SPEAKER_07]: compounding effect.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_07]: It's something.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_07]: So take advantage of it.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_07]: This is a good thing.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you to Micron for doing it.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_07]: And he said, oh no.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_07]: I know it's troublesome.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_07]: You folks are probably up in the

- 6:46[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, you know, we're all of a generation, okay, we all got worked up over the swimsuit edition of Sports Illustrated, it's kind of
- 7:00[SPEAKER_07]: Well, this month's cover to our girl is Lizzo.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_07]: Not your traditional cover girl for Sports Illustrator, but is that still a big deal?
- 7:12[SPEAKER_07]: Does anyone care about that crap anymore?
- 7:16[SPEAKER_07]: Like goodness, we got poor in Hub now.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_07]: Why do we care about somebody at a swimming suit on Sports Illustrator?
- 7:21[SPEAKER_07]: But back in the sixties, well, that was naughty.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, to hide that in your desk.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_09]: Yep.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_07]: things going on right now obviously the war going on lots of bombs dropping uh... also president uh... trump very soon to participate in the dignified transfer uh... dover air force base in delaware for four four brave americans two men two women uh... killed in uh... the war in the middle east whatever whatever we call it so i don't know if it's too bad
- 7:53[SPEAKER_07]: Well, Mayor Mopdami is admitted he can't put Netanyahu in jail.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_07]: That's good.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_07]: He's got a wise up.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_07]: He sounds like a punk over it.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_07]: You know, how many heads of state, other people like Arifat and everything have come to New York to the U.N., we host the U.N., you're going to get all sorts of people coming into town.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, he can't sit.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, so so obviously directed at Israel and the Jews.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_07]: but that's the new democratic party uh... what are we going on up in our friends up north i talked to john more this morning i'd like to talk to him to get the uh... the field of st. Lawrence county he suggested i have jim ragan on the show some days counted legislative is a big deal up there i think he still is uh... well i've issued up in the bird claxton happen hospital as you're gonna stay a hospital
- 8:54[SPEAKER_07]: You know, it's a rough situation.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_07]: And how about the boat going in the boat on the St. Lawrence River?
- 9:02[SPEAKER_07]: I think this is a fascinating story.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_07]: 157 miles an hour.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_07]: He was clocked at.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_07]: Really got a radar speed trap there?
- 9:16[SPEAKER_07]: Well, they didn't chase him down.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_07]: They were taking part in that boat, poker run over in Clayton.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_02]: Well.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_07]: So what?
- 9:34[SPEAKER_07]: A lot, you know, that technical speed limit in that section of the river is 30 miles an hour.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_07]: But I know a lot of people who drive 70, 80 in their cigarette boat.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_07]: You know, the guys with the gold chains
- 9:52[SPEAKER_07]: you know who they are.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_07]: And so there's people, and they do that.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_07]: But 157, that's pretty good to speed.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_07]: But you know what the North Country do?
- 10:00[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, the guy got to check it.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_07]: He's got to go to court, but he'll find.
- 10:04[SPEAKER_07]: He admitted to it, and he owner of the boat apologized for it.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_07]: So that was the wrong thing to do, and it was.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_07]: So what's the North Country do?
- 10:14[SPEAKER_07]: We banned them from future coming to this event in the future, which I guess was a big success in Clayton.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_07]: I don't even know if they have an authority to ban somebody from that.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, honestly, pays us fines and said it was sorry, and that was that.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_07]: We ban people from the city here if they've got a bunch of tickets.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_07]: There's no.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_07]: So I don't agree with that.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_07]: But you know, everybody feels they have to react to something.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_07]: Everything.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_07]: Well, we gotta do something.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_07]: The guy was speeding in a 30 mile an hour zone, he got caught, and he got a ticket.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_07]: You know, Clayton or something like that, or they, you know, depicted island elites, they don't have to band the poor guy.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_07]: We want these people coming.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_07]: Anybody who's got a boat that big, 50 feet long, they got money.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_07]: I was talking to some business man down in Clayton recently and about.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_07]: You know, hey, what's going on?
- 11:17[SPEAKER_07]: I was busy.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_07]: Is that great?
- 11:20[SPEAKER_07]: Well, tourists, you know, a necessary evil.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_07]: Are you kidding me?
- 11:26[SPEAKER_07]: The people really have that attitude?
- 11:28[SPEAKER_07]: I'm glad when people come to our area.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_07]: I got to turn them away.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_09]: It's crazy.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_09]: Oh, well, a necessary evil.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_07]: Who wouldn't want to go on an employment for the fall?
- 11:41[SPEAKER_07]: I hear it's up to 900 a month now.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_07]: Or we could.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_05]: He's not telling you.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_05]: I will tell you.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_05]: Well, parades are under way.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_07]: They had the night on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the night, on the
- 12:11[SPEAKER_07]: I guess he's going to participate in the C-way Festival parade up in Ogden'sburg this weekend.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_07]: That's good.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_07]: He's catching on and how to campaign.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 12:22[SPEAKER_07]: Now, what his staff should do is make sure they get a good picture of him and his floater or whatever he's doing or interacting with people and send it out to the peripheral media like me or some of the other websites and news telling people about news now or whatever they are.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_07]: But, um, in any event that's going on, what else is going on?
- 12:49[SPEAKER_07]: Um, somebody said, as usual, Jeff got half the story saying that this guy with the boat was a pain in the ass to the Clayton officials.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_07]: I didn't mention the county legislator who banned him.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_07]: He was dealt with by the authorities in question.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_07]: I assume the Park Police, whoever.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_07]: And that's that.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_07]: You know, one thing you got to learn in life is people with a lot of money.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_07]: Sometimes I don't repay any ads.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, you just deal with them as best you can.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_07]: You humor them.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_09]: That's what you got to do.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_07]: You humor them.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_07]: Well, I was reading a story from North,
- 13:39[SPEAKER_07]: One of the council members, it sounded like I was reading a water town story.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_07]: Somehow it's at 502 Riverside Drive, a big building burned down a year ago, and the rubble is still there.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_07]: And the city manager says, it's not city owned, I don't know what we can do, and they sit there and go around in circles.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_16]: Yeah.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_07]: So it's the same all over, a matter of where we are, right?
- 14:04[SPEAKER_07]: The same all over.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_07]: And you're going out to get your copy of Sports Illustrator with Lizzo on the cover.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_07]: Let's see what else is going on.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_07]: We've got a lot of things in the news.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, what else is happening?
- 14:33[SPEAKER_07]: See, there was charges in that horrible accident.
- 14:36[SPEAKER_07]: I'm coughing straight the other day.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_07]: 65-year-old Patricia Curtis was killed by a motorist who's been charged for being drunk for 21-year-old motorists, motorists, so somebody said, make a wish made the call, I don't know who make a wish is.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_07]: So, we're sorry to hear that, and Patty was an excellent person I knew a years ago and seen her in years, but a very nice person.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_09]: Um, yeah, what else have we got?
- 15:08[SPEAKER_07]: What's about it?
- 15:10[SPEAKER_07]: That's about it.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_07]: Well, let's see.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_07]: Now, Lizzo's on the digital cover.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know if they have a real cover.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_07]: I don't think the people buy magazines anymore.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_07]: I can get a time or a newspaper.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_07]: I used to have newsweek delivered to the house.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_29]: Yeah.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_07]: I don't think any of these things are available in paper form anymore.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_07]: So, I don't know.
- 15:41[SPEAKER_07]: Well, anyway, 755, 1240, the phone number, reported 315 in front of it.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_07]: If you please.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_07]: And we can go from there.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_07]: Well, let's see.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_07]: There's not a lot of... Well, we've got...
- 16:10[SPEAKER_07]: excuse me.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_07]: What is the weather coming up?
- 16:14[SPEAKER_07]: Looks like it's going to be very nice.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_07]: Well, my neighbors were supposed to take a tree down today, but I guess it didn't do it because of the wind.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_07]: Excuse me.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_07]: But after you do it, you're on the air.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_04]: Hey, how you doing?
- 16:33[SPEAKER_07]: Tammy, from Pameel, yeah.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, the swimsuit edition.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_04]: There is nothing athletic about her.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_04]: She probably gets a workout like pulling up her pants or fire or shoes.
- 16:54[UNKNOWN]: But that's crazy.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_07]: Shouldn't say that right.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_07]: That's racist.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_04]: It's kind of, it's what?
- 17:03[SPEAKER_07]: Will you criticize Lizzo?
- 17:04[SPEAKER_07]: That's racist, isn't it?
- 17:06[SPEAKER_04]: No.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know, gross, but yeah, I went to that boat thing.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_04]: That was amazing.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to make a point of going every year and make a wish.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_04]: You don't want to make a wish people or to make a wish foundation.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_07]: I don't want to help all those kids.
- 17:33[UNKNOWN]: Oh, who?
- 17:33[SPEAKER_07]: I know, but somebody said they texted a message.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_07]: Make a wish made the call.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know what they're talking about.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_04]: and maybe they should like not shoot a cryptic tax and maybe pick up the phone and call you and explain what we're talking about.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_07]: That's just a... Now was that the organization sponsoring this event?
- 17:52[SPEAKER_04]: Yes.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, okay.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_04]: So they have only people coming from all over the place with, I mean, there was millions and millions of dollars on the water.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_04]: It didn't that you could talk to the, to the...
- 18:05[SPEAKER_07]: So what was the deal with this one boat in the owner?
- 18:07[SPEAKER_07]: I mean,
- 18:09[SPEAKER_04]: He was quoted in a channel seven and saying his crew took it out and they shouldn't have any apologised and he's going to pay the fine what's the big deal I agree with you on that i think that just sounds totally stupid i guess they they want to make it so people don't want to come back and and and enjoy this area that's you know so lovely this time of year i mean not at the only time a year that it is lovely
- 18:37[SPEAKER_04]: And I mean, I was talking to a couple from like, I don't know, they're from Minnesota or something.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_04]: They do these all over the country.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_04]: They raise so much money for the make-a-wish people.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_16]: Yeah.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_04]: I'm sure the people like that line-ass business owner that you talk to, without these people, they wouldn't be able to have their business and make it to their whatever unemployment, but they're off season.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_04]: Man, that made me sick too.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_07]: Well, you know unemployment, it's like eight, nine hundred bucks a week now.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_04]: That's what that's pathetic.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_04]: That's just sad that they're giving that much for unemployment.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_04]: That's a lot of learning.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_04]: The other people that are working, working their butts off that don't make that.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_04]: That's just wrong.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_16]: Mm-hmm.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_04]: It's supposed to give you an incentive to get off your butt, it's just enough to get you five.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_07]: Well, all of this really started during the COVID thing.
- 19:37[SPEAKER_07]: Remember, they had the soft enhanced unemployment.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_07]: People were making 1100 a month back in the year 2000.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_07]: And why work?
- 19:45[SPEAKER_07]: And they got it.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_04]: Exactly.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_04]: Well, it's like that again.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_04]: I'm sorry.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_04]: 900 is not that shy from a less than 100.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_04]: Forgiveness.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_04]: But anyway, I was calling because there was no point
- 20:04[SPEAKER_04]: just such a fantastic event that Clayton hosted.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_04]: I got to see all sorts of fast boats and meal sorts of people from all over the place of the huge party and, you know, they helped kids with that.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_04]: All the money goes to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, it's just great and you know, people, I guess we're supposed to hate these people that have all that money, you know, all these
- 20:34[SPEAKER_04]: Well, it's people like that that go all over the country, and are these benefits, and you don't share their wealth, it's worth it.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_07]: Somebody just texted me and said, well, one of their been children swimming out there with the boy.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_07]: It's in the middle of the channel.
- 20:49[SPEAKER_07]: It's those children swimming near their dead anyway.
- 20:52[UNKNOWN]: Exactly.
- 20:53[UNKNOWN]: That's just that ridiculous.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, that's.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_04]: Women is close to shore.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_04]: I've never seen anybody swimming under the...
- 21:02[SPEAKER_04]: So, now's an island's bridge, I mean, maybe it happens near shore, but not in the middle of the channel like you said.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_07]: There's some, there's another comment.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_07]: Plamey, he missed the safety briefings, shouldn't do that.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_07]: Doesn't give an entitled rich person a free pass.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_07]: Well, I don't know.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, they have money, so they're entitled, that's it.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_04]: Well, I guess those, the people that have benefited from all this, this entitled money, should be offended and say, no, you can keep your entitled money.
- 21:30[SPEAKER_04]: We don't want it.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_04]: these people, oh my gosh, that's all, I just call it because it was a great event, no they shouldn't have been speeding, it was all rectified, fines paid, apologies made, they said that it was staff, and I could see how this could happen, if you have something like that available, you don't know the area, they shouldn't have missed the safety briefings, I didn't even know that was a thing, not owning a powerboat, but um,
- 21:57[SPEAKER_04]: Anyway, that's all I called about.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_04]: Enjoy your day, and I am not even gonna look up that's for two or three to two.
- 22:03[SPEAKER_04]: That's just gross.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, all right, thanks a lot.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_07]: I know.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_07]: And somebody else texted, and other towns don't spend taxpayers money on demolition on property.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, I know!
- 22:17[SPEAKER_07]: There has to be these smart people, these are the people the elected officials are supposed to be stupid.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_07]: We've conditioned ourselves to think that they aren't the sharpest knives in the drawer and the appointed officials are supposed to be the experts, the professionals.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_07]: So there must be a solution to this issue at 402-502 Riverside Drive in Ogden'sburg.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_07]: Councilman says there's a history of it up there, well there's a history of it on me in every village.
- 22:47[SPEAKER_07]: gets knocked down, a fence put around it, and then left, that happened in water town.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_07]: And if I only got around you, I don't know what the solution was.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_07]: And I understand the owner of the building should do it, but they're not going to.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_09]: Would you?
- 23:01[SPEAKER_07]: No, most people.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_07]: I would.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_07]: Most people would.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_07]: So, there you go.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_07]: 755, 1240, the phone number.
- 23:08[SPEAKER_07]: If you'd like to give us a call to be on the air here.
- 23:12[SPEAKER_07]: Whether you're listening here in Watertown or up north on WQTK 92.7, we welcome you and value you.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_07]: And can I say we love you?
- 23:23[SPEAKER_07]: Yes.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_07]: Not in the biblical sense.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 23:31[SPEAKER_07]: 755, 1240, so those who haven't made a call, please do so.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_07]: We'd love to hear from you.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_07]: Okay?
- 23:37[SPEAKER_07]: Alrighty, let's see.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_07]: You mentioned parades and who's in them.
- 23:45[SPEAKER_10]: I don't know, as anybody seen, we're starting to see Constantino get out of the livens.
- 23:50[SPEAKER_07]: He hasn't called in at ages, but that's OK.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_07]: I don't want to get into the middle of that.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_07]: Even though we do reach a lot more people now.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_07]: But here we see much anything of that gender being guy.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_07]: But we live in a news desert, so it doesn't get covered.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_07]: media doesn't like politicians so when they see if they don't the fact that they're there campaigning that's not news to them.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_07]: So the public never really hears much of anything about these people.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_07]: We just vote for who we think we're supposed to vote for.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_07]: But I don't know.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_07]: So that I would say that parade and I didn't spurred this weekend is a must parade.
- 24:33[SPEAKER_07]: Good afternoon you're on your air.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_08]: Hey man, there's a couple comments.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_08]: And you know, whatever, it was, yeah, anybody has the kids women in the scene wearing channels, got rocks in there at, and they should be in trouble like that girl that had to do your olden, somebody had to stop them from a car or getting them on over it.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_08]: We could go.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_09]: Yep.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_08]: But the point and another thing is something thing, some about unemployment, and I like came from communities, he's pretty sharp.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_08]: If you're getting me 100 bucks on unemployment, they're taking $200 in taxes off it, and that's nobody gets that unless you're like bare-paying, which they, you know, working the winner, you know, you can't black-top 81 and after.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_07]: Go get a job in the weather.
- 25:40[SPEAKER_08]: Well, I know a new girl.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_08]: I don't know.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_08]: They'd be just cool.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_08]: No, I don't know about that.
- 25:45[UNKNOWN]: COVID.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_07]: I don't agree with that.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_07]: The best thing that a smartest thing you do is to quote getting a few if you're drunk.
- 25:51[SPEAKER_08]: Say you get the max 800 and you're still paying 200 a week off that of taxes.
- 25:58[SPEAKER_08]: And besides that, to even get that max, you must have been making $2,500 a week.
- 26:03[SPEAKER_08]: I got all your overtime and everything.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_08]: No.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, well, another thing, another thing, man, I just want to say, a lot of them guys can get that and then they're doing some other stuff.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_07]: Well, right, the smart, you know, economically the smart thing to do, not morally, but economically is to get laid off, get laid off and then get a job.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, you're going about the firemen and stuff.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I get an under the table job, you know.
- 26:29[SPEAKER_08]: Then they got other jobs.
- 26:32[SPEAKER_08]: What does the firemen make it now?
- 26:34[SPEAKER_08]: Nothing.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_08]: It's not a dangerous job.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_08]: That's why they can't find any volunteers and make them do all this training and everything out.
- 26:41[SPEAKER_07]: Well most of them make it out of closer 100,000 now.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_07]: I mean 100,000 dollars is not a lot of money anymore.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_08]: No, I know that.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_08]: That's why I don't understand if you're getting a max on a point in the for 800, and then you take $200 to tax is right off the top of it.
- 27:03[SPEAKER_08]: And then, uh, sold 600 bucks a week when you're used to making, uh, uh, uh, two grand or something with all of your time and stuff.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_07]: Right me or whoever, come on, not at all.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_08]: I'm not, I'm just saying.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_08]: That's the way it is.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_08]: It's, you, you don't get laid off from all this.
- 27:21[SPEAKER_08]: I am, I don't know.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_08]: And you get laying on your box, I don't want to play them for $8.90.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_07]: As the AG says, I am male pale and stale.
- 27:29[SPEAKER_07]: And in my whole life, I've never spent one minute on unemployment.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_08]: Well, man, you have your own place and plus you never got laid off, but when I get laid off, I go do some other things and I go work and wherever I can and stuff like that.
- 27:47[SPEAKER_08]: I mean, you want to try to explain that to 200, some people that are laid off from their break and all that.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_07]: Well, it happened, so look at the people who are got laid off by Howard Stern.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_07]: They only got a week's pay for every year they worked there and they think they got screwed.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_07]: And Howard should have given them more.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_08]: guys from their break we're up to that zinc mine now they found graphite under the ground right supposed to come back up they were gonna give them like 45 bucks an hour and the guys are like we're gonna quit we're gonna go back up there cuz it's five mile guy from my house cuz I live up in that area and they had a month they had a month seven news and they were all pissed they had like three months and they closed the
- 28:35[SPEAKER_07]: because it didn't want to work?
- 28:36[SPEAKER_08]: I mean, that's hard work, you know, it's not- Whatever reason.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_07]: You know, it's not my cup of tea.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_07]: I've never really put it in an honesty's work.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_07]: I've just, you know.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, whatever.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_08]: You, you, you, I'm the show more than glad.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_08]: Gladly even said, like, about a month ago, he goes, Jeff, I won't miss a show unless he's sicker in the hospital.
- 28:56[SPEAKER_07]: Mm-hmm.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_08]: That's true.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_07]: Right.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_07]: Well, I-
- 29:03[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, you take the time for tune-in, and I feel obliged to be there.
- 29:09[SPEAKER_08]: I like your show, and I think you're right.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, thank you.

- 33:13[SPEAKER_07]: And it stopped down downtown, I was stopping at the journal, see Jim Ray again, and Mr. Kelly was there, Chuck Kelly.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_07]: All of that's gone.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_07]: I don't even know what's left, but that's back when Dick Lockwood was mayor and always right with the world.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_07]: What afternoon are you on the air?
- 33:39[SPEAKER_11]: the north country to take our lessons from wild those you've been your lately but the downtown looks great it does yes I mean and they had to share travels but they had buildings there I remember the old Henry's old town a couple of the buildings one's burned down and stuff they took care of it yeah I mean some communities have done quite well and some have it
- 34:07[SPEAKER_11]: I mean, you go through some of the older communities and, you know, it's sad to see what it used to be.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_07]: Mm-hmm.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_07]: What?
- 34:15[SPEAKER_11]: I mean, actually, I travel the North Country for, you know.
- 34:19[SPEAKER_07]: You were selling those tombstone pizzas, yeah?
- 34:22[SPEAKER_11]: What's Tony's pizza?
- 34:23[SPEAKER_11]: Tony.
- 34:24[SPEAKER_11]: But anyway.
- 34:24[SPEAKER_07]: You ever go through Antwerp lately?
- 34:28[SPEAKER_11]: What's that?
- 34:29[SPEAKER_07]: You've been through Antwerp lately?
- 34:31[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, there's, yeah, there's a good example, Antwerp.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_11]: You know all these places you see the old the what they're going now they finally got rid of them a torn down But the old milk plants is stuff that used to you to you to see the factories You know, it's just a shame you drive to Albany or something you see what these places used to be You know The Mohawk Valley.

- 34:58[SPEAKER_07]: I mean you know, it's just a Utica hamster damn lovers real don't fill all those areas
- 35:07[SPEAKER_11]: they finally tore down that building in turn it took a mile along it was it said they're just kind of falling into itself and they're down down yeah that's it all yeah it's it's that deal in actin'sburg it's just a shame because it used to be a beautiful city yeah it's written a river okay all right it's my voice coming through
- 35:35[SPEAKER_07]: On the air is my voice okay, yes, I'm fine.
- 35:40[SPEAKER_07]: Are you listening to radio or internet?
- 35:42[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah No, sounded alright, yeah You're just Jeff, I always get a kick out of you in the summertime You're going on and on about not hearing anything about elections And you're in every year it's the same thing that people just aren't
- 36:01[SPEAKER_11]: just don't talk about it because it's not on the mind, you know, I mean, unless they go to a parade and see the canopy walking down the street, you know, carrying a sign or whatever, giving off the enemy.
- 36:12[SPEAKER_11]: Other than that, you're not going to hear anything to September, you know, that you've been around long enough to know that, you know, you do some of the underground work, and, you know, with your committees and so on, but to get out and really can't paint campaign
- 36:29[SPEAKER_11]: it was in the sack and uh... uh... the democrat farmer that's running up in wasmen but other than that yeah you're not going to hear marches time here is just kind of a way some money because people forget it by the time in the end of october gets here so why would you why would you uh... blank in all that money now well there i don't know well and i know you're you want information but they're just isn't the out there but
- 36:59[SPEAKER_11]: Missing the boat there and they're not.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_07]: Hmm.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
- 37:08[SPEAKER_11]: Or do you think there's something going on that this is not being reported?
- 37:13[SPEAKER_07]: Well, I don't know.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_07]: I just don't hear much.
- 37:15[SPEAKER_07]: No, I'm just saying maybe it's a candidate's fault.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_11]: But I've said you've been here forever.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_11]: Now, I know you do the same.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_11]: You go door to door and that kind of thing.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_11]: You're not going to do that.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_11]: So I mean, what do you get on there and then, and do, uh, uh, stand up with the guy doing going.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_07]: Well, I don't know.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, call up America's favorite hot dog show here and say, hey, this is what what I'm doing this week as a candidate.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_07]: Let me know you're doing something.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_11]: Well, they're good.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_11]: They're going to call you September and October.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_11]: I'm sure.
- 37:43[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 37:45[SPEAKER_07]: But you know, hey, they're in these parades now.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_07]: Well, I don't know.
- 37:51[SPEAKER_07]: Whatever.
- 37:54[SPEAKER_11]: saying that it's the same every year.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_11]: We're going, you've been doing this show for 30 years you know.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_11]: That's not longer.
- 38:02[SPEAKER_11]: This is the same thing.
- 38:04[SPEAKER_11]: Every summer.
- 38:05[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_11]: I mean you're just not going to do just there's nothing.
- 38:09[SPEAKER_11]: There's really not any news about that kind of stuff right now unless somebody dies or something like the Lindsey Graham that rest his soul.
- 38:17[SPEAKER_11]: uh... you know or or is dot or sister taken over that kind of thing but they're not going to get me to see if it's a quiet time for people you know they're out having fun watching guys go a hundred fifty miles an hour up the river you know that kind of what you think of that well you think it's it's kind of stupid and dangerous but they're getting was in the channel but and hit this woman in the channels kind of nuts because you have one of those big uh... yeah i don't think you're supposed to be out there
- 38:47[SPEAKER_11]: So, yeah, no, I think if they gave me a mistake, I agree with you that he said he was sorry.
- 38:52[SPEAKER_07]: But you know, I mean, that's an extreme speedboat, but there's a lot of guys have those cigarette boats and boy, the ladies should do gravitate, don't they?
- 39:01[SPEAKER_11]: Well, yeah, and there's a lot of them that don't get caught or they're not seen or nobody says anything, he's so, I mean, that's uh, and then we've seen boating accidents before, that's kind of crazy to do.
- 39:10[SPEAKER_07]: A lot of them just like to be seen at the dock.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_11]: Well, yeah.
- 39:15[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 39:17[SPEAKER_11]: Hey, is it getting your blame on me?
- 39:21[SPEAKER_07]: No.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_11]: No, it's like driving around a beautiful bed or something like that, you know?
- 39:26[SPEAKER_07]: Yep.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_11]: You know, well, car, they ruined the truck, ruined it, and I see the new one's down.
- 39:31[SPEAKER_11]: I sit there and go, the things look like one, and it's kind of dumb as Mustangs.
- 39:36[SPEAKER_11]: They ruined them, they don't look like Mustangs.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I agree.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_11]: Corbats are still look like Corbats, in fact, some of the new ones are pretty cool.
- 39:46[SPEAKER_11]: Forge made a mistake on that they look like crap, they're not, they're not anything to write home about.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_11]: Same with Thunderbirds when they had Thunderbirds they kind of went to.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_11]: Whatever.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_07]: Thunderbirds, you know.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, I had a couple of holes.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_11]: I used to like Thunderbirds, but yeah.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_07]: They were nice, they were nice, but they got big and then they just went away.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, exactly.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_07]: The original ones with the round window in the back, those were pretty nice.
- 40:12[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, they were super nice.
- 40:14[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 40:17[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, a lot of cars were nice back in those days, so if you think about it, it's pretty cool cars back in the day, but yeah.
- 40:25[SPEAKER_07]: Those were the days, yep.
- 40:26[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
- 40:27[SPEAKER_11]: They all look alike.
- 40:28[SPEAKER_07]: Alright.
- 40:28[SPEAKER_11]: Listen, you have a fine.
- 40:29[SPEAKER_11]: You sound like Colin mentioned that.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_07]: Alright, thank you.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_07]: Alrighty.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_07]: Why don't we take a break and we'll be right back.
- 40:36[SPEAKER_13]: The news and talk authority.
- 40:40[SPEAKER_13]: W-E-T-N-M-1240.

- 42:03[SPEAKER_03]: How about a 2023 Hyundai Palisades price at an incredible 27 999?
- 42:08[SPEAKER_03]: They're celebrating 250 years, all month longer, which of Godl's sales, the use car leader and not a Washington street, and online at which of Godl's sales.com.

- 42:45[SPEAKER_12]: At INV Energy, we answer the phone, whether you need to schedule a fuel delivery, learn about our no-feet guarantee, or do a side-by-side comparison with what you're paying now.
- 42:55[SPEAKER_12]: We are here to help.

- 43:06[SPEAKER_12]: We're the no-feet field company.

- 44:21[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_07]: It's a bench trial with Judge Kim Wood, City Court Judge, one of the two.
- 44:29[SPEAKER_07]: Tough job for Judge Wood because she's a nice person.
- 44:35[SPEAKER_07]: And I don't know.
- 44:37[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, there's a lot of people who are saying if you don't
- 44:41[SPEAKER_07]: If you think Millie's going to go free or something like that, then you're not backing the blue and all of that, and then there's others who say, this is nonsense, apparently the person who made the decision, and move ahead with it, it's already retired, so there's no repercussions there, so I don't know, what's going to happen?
- 45:00[SPEAKER_07]: We'll have to do it here on the air.
- 45:03[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I'm glad we get our neighbors in the north on the airways right now, that's pretty good deal.
- 45:11[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, but you got to turn your radio down.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_10]: Okay.
- 45:13[SPEAKER_10]: Is it down now?
- 45:14[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 45:16[SPEAKER_10]: Okay.
- 45:16[SPEAKER_10]: All right.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_10]: Earlier, you did have some echo in the background.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_10]: Jeff, when you correct that one call, you said it.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_10]: You were kind of kind of wobbly there for a while.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_07]: I'm okay now.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_07]: So I go ahead and talk.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, it's good.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_10]: Okay.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_10]: I have one question for the audience.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_10]: This is kind of back to the federal level again because it's an issue that is very much concerned to me.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_10]: I think you should have other people.
- 45:42[SPEAKER_10]: Works can number one main reason that we are in Iran with this war right now.
- 45:50[SPEAKER_07]: Well originally.
- 45:51[SPEAKER_10]: What's the main reason that we're hearing?
- 45:55[SPEAKER_07]: Straight of war moves.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_10]: No, that's maybe number two.
- 46:00[SPEAKER_07]: The nuclear program of Iran.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_07]: a nuclear program.
- 46:07[SPEAKER_10]: That's exactly right.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_10]: But you know, when Mr. Trump came into office, President Trump came into office, he ripped up the 2015 agreement to have Mr. Obama present Obama put in place, and had been overseen by the IAEA, the International Atomic Energy Commission, and by all accounts, all accounts and records it was working.
- 46:32[SPEAKER_10]: Trump tore it up.
- 46:34[SPEAKER_10]: came out with one he has now it says that's what we're trying to do is stop and put it in the weapon we have this is this is a false I don't know what false positive or what we're gonna call it it's just main argument and it's useless it's a people it's more to the end of this yet the the J.C. J.C. P.O.A.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_10]: joined the comprehensive plan for action that Obama put in place was working fine and not only that
- 47:03[SPEAKER_10]: But the five main countries that signed off on it included two that we are now concerned about China and Russia were signatories to it with the U.S. U.K. and France and then Germany signed on later.
- 47:08[SPEAKER_10]: So, okay, we're working by all of this.
- 47:10[SPEAKER_10]: We know the history of it all.
- 47:10[SPEAKER_10]: We don't need to go over it.
- 47:11[SPEAKER_10]: Look at where we are, where we are, where we are, where we are, where we are, where we are, where we are, where we are, where we are, where we are, where we are, where we are, where we are, where we are, where we are, where we are, where we are, where we are, where we are, where we are, where we are, where we are, where we are, where we are, where we are, where we are, where we are, where we are, where we are, where we are, where we are, where we are, where we are, where we are, where we are, where
- 47:24[SPEAKER_10]: Hey, we're in a war because of the crap that Mr.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_10]: Proof is putting out on the table.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_10]: It's just useless garbage, and it has no meaning except when it comes from him.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_10]: It has meaning to the bank of the group.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, that's up a Jeff, it's not a reason to be a war.
- 47:40[SPEAKER_10]: He started this war for a simple reason.
- 47:43[SPEAKER_10]: It was no reason, period.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_10]: And it should be discussed more, which should be understood more, and the details of it you can look online anywhere
- 47:54[SPEAKER_10]: and read about it, and just see what I said, and it was working with those five nations.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_07]: That's fine, but the issue of that war is discussed every day on several cable channels, and I watch them all.
- 48:06[SPEAKER_07]: So I hear the debate.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_07]: So that's that.
- 48:09[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, to further discuss it here is pointless.
- 48:12[SPEAKER_07]: This is not, it does no good to discuss it here.
- 48:16[SPEAKER_10]: It's not, it's not pointless because we're losing, we'll lose our actual lives, we'll do it right now.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_10]: So the numbers are going to go up.
- 48:24[SPEAKER_10]: He's talking about putting ground troops in the middle search for the right player.
- 48:27[SPEAKER_10]: So he's not going to play very well.
- 48:29[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
- 48:30[SPEAKER_07]: Well, we'll see what he does.
- 48:32[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_10]: He's going to give us a deeper answer.
- 48:36[SPEAKER_07]: I agree.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_07]: I agree.
- 48:39[SPEAKER_07]: I don't like it either.
- 48:40[SPEAKER_07]: Hey, listen.
- 48:40[SPEAKER_07]: I've got to run.
- 48:41[SPEAKER_07]: I got crawls.
- 48:43[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you, damn.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_07]: Bye now.
- 48:44[SPEAKER_07]: Good afternoon around the air.
- 48:47[SPEAKER_09]: Hey, Mayor Graham.
- 48:48[SPEAKER_09]: How you doing?
- 48:48[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 48:49[SPEAKER_07]: What's up?
- 48:51[SPEAKER_09]: Danny's not again.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_09]: Danny, it wasn't working.
- 48:58[SPEAKER_09]: I know that's for Democratic Party line of year.
- 49:00[SPEAKER_09]: You have to adhere to it.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_09]: But when you find nuclear facilities all around the country, that means that the nuclear program is underway, Danny.
- 49:13[SPEAKER_09]: That's a clue.
- 49:14[SPEAKER_09]: Law enforcement would call that a clue.
- 49:20[SPEAKER_09]: Well, I'm not going to say lie, I'll let other people figure that out.
- 49:24[SPEAKER_09]: The international atomic energy commission was denied access to these places, these places.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_09]: That doesn't mean that they were monitoring.
- 49:35[SPEAKER_09]: That doesn't mean it was successful.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_09]: That means that it wasn't work and Danny.
- 49:42[SPEAKER_09]: Now, I'm sorry that we don't just pump billions of dollars back in which was your
- 49:48[SPEAKER_09]: mm-hmm a bunch of money and maybe it'd be nice alright well i don't want this to be between you and Danny obviously have different view between it's what Danny said it's not true it's usually it's typical Danny and cannot true that the the situation was not working they were well on their way to get the nuk and uh... you know i i just can't believe a man with a military mind which thinks that way but
- 50:14[SPEAKER_09]: Okay, well, all right, the party is the if the party is the most important thing in your life I guess you got to say stuff.
- 50:20[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
- 50:21[SPEAKER_07]: Well, let's leave it leave it there.
- 50:22[SPEAKER_09]: Okay.
- 50:23[SPEAKER_09]: Well, we'll leave Daniel out.
- 50:24[SPEAKER_09]: He can come up with a story.
- 50:25[SPEAKER_07]: Are you thinking of Liz oh, being on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swim suit?
- 50:29[SPEAKER_09]: Oh, she's a wonderful girl.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_09]: Wonderful girl.
- 50:32[SPEAKER_09]: I like to have it.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_09]: You know, I like to talk about that river that 150 violin and yeah, you know, this part this situation has been going on a long time.
- 50:42[SPEAKER_09]: It's the wooden boat people, you know, the people with a multi-multi-million dollar places.
- 50:48[SPEAKER_09]: In fact, there's one of Danny's friends that was Hillary Clinton who, in her friends, you originally, started the problems with this.
- 50:58[SPEAKER_09]: If it's a special time when they have those speed boats up there, I don't see any problem with going fast.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_09]: I really don't.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_09]: They know what's going on.
- 51:13[SPEAKER_09]: I mean, let people have some fun for a couple of days.
- 51:18[SPEAKER_09]: It's not like we're saying no speed limit forever.
- 51:21[SPEAKER_09]: We're saying, you know, for a couple of days when they have that poker run, but I'm going fast.
- 51:27[SPEAKER_09]: You know, not everybody can afford a mahogany boat like this, you know, the antique boat museum people have.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_09]: That's what this is.
- 51:36[SPEAKER_09]: It's a war between, you know, people with the gold change in the bays.
- 51:41[SPEAKER_09]: And then you got the wooden boat people who I don't know how they I don't know how they reproduce because they don't ever touch each other You know I it's it's crazy let them have some fun This is you know and you know, I've never I just don't believe that they should be crimping down on it let them have some It's not gonna I'm not a wooden boat I couldn't afford those and I can't afford those speed boats.
- 52:09[SPEAKER_09]: I'm not part of either group
- 52:11[SPEAKER_09]: But this business where everybody's got to go slow because I have a wooden boat, I don't understand it at all.
- 52:19[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
- 52:21[SPEAKER_09]: Well, how are you doing?
- 52:22[SPEAKER_07]: Ah, doing fine.
