Transcript
- 0:00Yesterday we had him in here. Amanda's kids Sydney and who's is she five?
- 0:04Now? She is five? Ye? Yes, Briggs was in her
- 0:06two of course. But it was the big preschool graduation. You only graduate
- 0:10from pre school one time. And Amanda, you had the task from your
- 0:14daughter city she asked you, She asked one thing of you. That was
- 0:17it, and it was what to not embarrass her? Right, yes,
- 0:20that was kind of her thing. She was like, mom, are you
- 0:24You're gonna cry, aren't you? And she's been really setting this up because
- 0:28they had numerous songs that they were going to be singing at their own graduation,
- 0:31at their program, and she just she knew one of them was going
- 0:35to hit me because I always tell her I love you, love you more.
- 0:38And there was a song about I love you one hundred I believe was
- 0:41the name of it. Oh, like one hundred emoji like the one hundred.
- 0:46That sounds very modern. I like that. The kids are doing that,
- 0:49okay, So, and I actually have audio. I had a microphone
- 0:52set up in the room. And yesterday the lovely staff over at Peace Academy
- 0:58put together this program and they ended it with these two songs and this one
- 1:03got mama just shedding the tears. Well, it's here. I love you,
- 1:15I love you, I love you. I do and I know and
- 1:19I know you're crying right now. This is crazy. So you did?
- 1:23Did you let it go? So? Well? I held it together like
- 1:26I am right now, just like really trying to hold back my tears and
- 1:30just the sweetest so Sydney looked at me. At the very end, she
- 1:33comes running over and Nick goes, go to the go to the car and
- 1:37get your sunglasses because they had a little ice cream truck afterwards, to just
- 1:42go to the car, get in the car, get out of here.
- 1:45Just put on my sunglasses, and I was, I was, I was
- 1:48good. To go left right afterwards so I could try not to cry.
- 1:52And then I really I had to go upstairs. When we got home,
- 1:55Nick hung out with the kids while I just burst in it. Really I
- 1:57just couldn't take it. Yes, how do the other parents cry? Also?
- 2:00Yes, there was a couple of parents crying. I had a couple
- 2:04of messages from parents saying that they held it together until they got home as
- 2:07well. One mom is going to be going through it today. She just
- 2:09messaged me said thank you for your honesty, because she's been crying for a
- 2:13month as well. No, you got to prepare yourself, Amanda, because
- 2:16preschool, Like we're not even to grade one yet. No, we're not
- 2:21even the kindergarten. You know, there's like thirteen more of these. I
- 2:23know, when do they stop? Because I remember doing for me anyway,
- 2:27did a sixth grade graduation and then of course the main one. But what
- 2:30do they do a very year now at this point? No, you know,
- 2:34I'm really not sure. This was my first, Like they're going to
- 2:37do a kindergarten one, right, perhaps I would think so, I honestly
- 2:40am not sure. You know. Really, what I'm doing Pike is taking
- 2:44it one day at a time. So today these poor people at Peace Academy
- 2:47have to deal with me again because Briggs has his spring program, so he's
- 2:51going to be in pre K for two more years. So they're not calling
- 2:53this one a graduation. No, this is just a spring program. Oh
- 2:55good, and uh, he gave me a little sneak of what I can
- 3:00expect to spoiler. He's seeing no sign but listen, peace peace peace either
- 3:13sacking peace peace peace peace. It's pretty good, I know. And he's
- 3:21learning to snap I said all the actions down. I know, it's the
- 3:24last time didn't kind of freeze up a bit, and you know, usually
- 3:28in front of people, he does freeze up. So it's nice that I
- 3:30get my own little performance at home. That's good. Uh. In the
- 3:32background, you can hear Nick Sydney stop at your brother's time, because she
- 3:37really tries to steal the show every time he stands something like sid hold back.
- 3:40We gotta let Briggsy do his his moment. Yeah, yeah, well
- 3:44that's exciting. But I mean the good news is that if they do graduations
- 3:46every year, it'll just kind of dilute the whole thing. So by the
- 3:50time she's a senior, you won't care at all. Yeah. All the
- 3:52moms listening right now to their kids going off to college, you know,
- 3:55some people they'll get excited about it. It's like, get out of the
- 3:58house. We're done with you. I'm supposed to on your relationship with her
- 4:00child. Do you like it? Ad in the morning? Big Naty eight
- 4:03point seven, Why don't we blow ourselves right into the judgment zone. It's
- 4:10a weird thing to say, but nonetheless it's the judgment zone, meaning time
- 4:14to get a little judgie if you're okay with that, and it is okay
- 4:17what it's for. So we got somebody with a little situation on their hands.
- 4:20We're gonna call her Jackie. She's on the phone right now. Good
- 4:24morning, Jackie, Good morning. How are you very good? Better than
- 4:27you? Gosh? What you got going on? Yeah, you got a
- 4:29little situation. Tell us what you're going through right now? Yeah, it's
- 4:32that great. So I live by a park. I have a four and
- 4:36a six year old and we go there all the time. But there's this
- 4:41group of boys and they're kind of a bunch of bullies. They go to
- 4:45the park all so it really ruins it for all of us. They've been
- 4:49bullying my kids also now, and I've even pulled them aside and talked to
- 4:54them about how that's wrong and you shouldn't do that, and oh wow,
- 4:58you know, for you, a lot of people just I try to ignore
- 5:00it. But yeah, I don't ignore saying something. Oh yeah, I
- 5:04don't ignore. Not when it comes to my kids. You know, other
- 5:06kid parents, that's their decision, but not me. And I tried to
- 5:12talk to them, and it's just not changing their behavior for any reason.
- 5:16I don't know where they live. I don't know who their parents are.
- 5:20I honestly don't. I don't have any idea where they're coming from. And
- 5:24I just don't know. I just don't. I don't know how to handle
- 5:27the situation. Like I tried talking to them and it's not working. Like,
- 5:30what's the next step I say something wrong? Yeah, that's interesting.
- 5:34I mean, obviously we would say, hey, talk to their parents,
- 5:36but given that you don't know, that makes a little harder. So I
- 5:40don't what should she do. Here's what we're going to do. We're going
- 5:43to open the phones up. We're going to talk to some people, get
- 5:45some opinions. I would bet there's a parent out there who's been through something
- 5:48similar totally, So we're going to get some advice for you. Okay,
- 5:50I appreciate it so much. Thank you, my kids, thank you.
- 5:55Of course. Let's see what we can do. Maybe you're that parent that's
- 5:57been through something similar. Seven oh one two eight oh one ninety eight seven,
- 6:00please call or text. We're in the judgment zone, Amanda. What
- 6:04would you do you've been through something like this? You know, we have
- 6:06a park near our home and we have not seen this. Like every once
- 6:11in a while, you hear foul language and stuff. It's like, okay,
- 6:15yes, I know my kids can hear it. I just try to
- 6:16like move my kids away from the situation. I've never spoken to a kid
- 6:19yet. I have not had a heated situation like that. Okay. It's
- 6:23just interesting because you know, at some point this will likely happen. I
- 6:26feel like this is something that's happened to all. We've all been through that.
- 6:30Yeah, public parks, that's just going to happen. We did post
- 6:32us on Facebook, and actually something that came to my mind. We have
- 6:35a neighborhood group on social media, so maybe posting something in there I do
- 6:41not care. And somebody I have to look at her name, had said,
- 6:44do not post a picture of the kids. We had a situation in
- 6:46our neighborhood group or somebody like took a picture of the kids and said whose
- 6:49parents are these? That feels a little aggressive times. That's why I said,
- 6:54it's just touchy when you're talking about other kids other because you don't know.
- 6:57I mean, do you just like remove them from the situation, like
- 6:59you said, just not bring them to that park anymore. Yeah. Amanda
- 7:02Goodman had described the situation saying, hey, I would maybe if after you
- 7:06talk to them posted on there. Tiffany is chiming and saying maybe the next
- 7:11door app being able to put it on there. Oh, I deleted that
- 7:13piece of garbage a long time ago. That's it. This is zero good
- 7:16comes from that app. You know, I do not have like everything you
- 7:19would want it for, like actual helpful information and community networking. It's just
- 7:24like none of that. It's all trash, people complaining and just nothing good.
- 7:29So, Tiffany, it sounds like that's a horrible idea. I'm sorry,
- 7:31Tiffany, your idea was good. The app itself is just trash.
- 7:34What do you think? What should you do? Kids are getting bullied.
- 7:38Doesn't know the parents of these these bullies, So how do you handle it?
- 7:41Seven one two eighth one ninety eight seven. We are in the judgment
- 7:45zone, so get a little judgy t get a minute in the morning.
- 7:49We are in the middle of the judgment zone, however, so we need
- 7:51to get back to the situation. A mom called in because bringing her kids
- 7:56to a public park and there are some bullies that will just not stop ruining
- 8:00in for everybody. Only problem they don't got parents around they don't know who
- 8:03these kids are, they don't know where they live. So this woman we're
- 8:05calling her Jackie, wants to know how she should handle this situation because she
- 8:09has already talked to the kids and it's just it's still progressing and it's got
- 8:13little kids. You just don't want that to happen, right, You want
- 8:16to be able to enjoy a public Parky. So what do you think seven
- 8:18oh one two, eight oh one ninety eight seven? What should she do?
- 8:22Yeah, I'm responding to the woman that just is called Yes, are
- 8:26you feeling judgy today? Because that's a goal here, to be honest,
- 8:30Yeah, a little bit. I just I understand where she's coming from.
- 8:33But I this is what I believe. I just follow the boys home and
- 8:37follow where they live, and then talk to their parents when they get home,
- 8:41all of them home, and I mean it makes sense, but it
- 8:43feels a little like don't you feel that, I mean, following kids home?
- 8:46Don't you feel like this sort of some you know, weirdness to that.
- 8:50I understand the implication, but we're talking about your kid here. You
- 8:54know, desperate times called for desperate measures. At at the point, it's
- 8:58a good point all right, interesting perspective. Thank you sir. Well,
- 9:01good morning, Big ninety eight point seven. The other idea I thought was
- 9:05maybe writing like a quick little letter and kind of trying to keep it as
- 9:07kind as you can, just say, hey, you know, i'd love
- 9:11to chat with you. Here's my number because you please reach out. You
- 9:13could try that and give it to the kids and say, hey, could
- 9:16you give your parents invitation? You start, they're gonna prank me. But
- 9:20that's just also because I work with Pike. Yeah, well exactly. Yeah,
- 9:24the odds. I imagine me getting that letter. Oh you want me
- 9:26to give a letter to my parents, I'm not getting home. I'll tell
- 9:30you that. I mean that was like, yeah, I could say that
- 9:31it was like an invitation to a party or so, you know, but
- 9:35I get that too. It's what I mean. Well, like you said,
- 9:39what's the worst that could happen? I mean, it is better than
- 9:41what other alternatives do you have at this point you don't know who the parents
- 9:45are. Yeah, it's worth a try. I guess that's what I pussed
- 9:48into my head. So good luck, Thank you so much for calling,
- 9:50and I appreciate you. Yeah, take care, guys. Bye, Well,
- 9:52good morning, big ninety eight point seven. So what I would probably
- 9:56do, and I've done this before, is videotape the children bullian the littler
- 10:03kids. Yeah, and then follow those kids home so you can show the
- 10:09parents what their kids are doing, so that way they can nip it in
- 10:15the butt. Yeah, that's I mean, you're showing proof, and I
- 10:18guess if I'm a parent, I'm gonna want that as well. But all
- 10:20those parents, we think our kids are a little angels and would never do
- 10:24anything like that, of course, so this would actually show proof that your
- 10:30kid is bullying. Littler kids can't happen. Okay, so this is another
- 10:33vote for following the kids home, which you know, we're sort of out
- 10:37of options at this point, so you might have to and then videoing.
- 10:41I know, Amana, you said that some people are kind of iffy about
- 10:43videoing other kids or taking photos of that. I wouldn't. I wouldn't post
- 10:46it online, right, but I would actually video it and then show it
- 10:50to the other parents. Well, thank you for the call. Yeah,
- 10:52you guys, have a great day. I appreciate good thoughts. Here in
- 10:56the judgment zone, we've got one more extreme here. We've got to Shayla.
- 11:01We've got Melissa, Steve and Justice all on our Facebook page saying that
- 11:05you should call the police and have them contact the parents. Interesting, it
- 11:09feels futile. Are the police really going to do it? It feels what
- 11:13I'm sorry Sometimes I'm sorry Sometimes did I start working with a new human being?
- 11:20That that feels what? Pike pointless? We'll say that sorry. I
- 11:24read one book one time and occasionally few too. What it means like not
- 11:28worth the effort, Like it's not going to go anywhere. I guess try,
- 11:31but odds are I don't think the police have bigger issues, That's what
- 11:35I'm saying. I didn't following them home and then if they don't answer,
- 11:37if you can't get them to answer the door, stay out outside their house
- 11:41and all their parents to work. Now, that's fewtiles, Amanda in the
- 11:46morning on Big You know, it's refreshing that it seems like a lot more
- 11:50people are prioritizing work life balance, right. I mean it used to be
- 11:54it was just work, work, work, work, work where semi have
- 11:58to work work. Right now, though, companies are making it easier for
- 12:01you to enjoy more of your personal time, your family time, right so
- 12:05that maybe that's remote work, hybrid schedules, being able to be home a
- 12:07couple days a week, flexibility. Absolutely, four day work weeks you hear
- 12:11about those, which is enticing. I know that sounds so good. I
- 12:16would love a four day work week. However, bad news, Amanda.
- 12:20In a sudden shift. There are companies around the world mandating a six day
- 12:24work week. Come again, there are around the world mandating a six day
- 12:33work week. That's gonna be a no for me. Well, then you
- 12:41won't be getting a job with. Oh I don't know big companies like Samsung
- 12:45anytime, so I hope somebody does, because no way I'm turning over to
- 12:48Apple. I'm gonna need some Samsung Galaxy people on my not act like the
- 12:52condition the conditions of those factories have ever been a concern of yours. Oh
- 12:56gosh, I mean, because do you think this iPhone is being made in
- 13:00I don't know how many days a week they're working, but I know they're
- 13:01probably twelve years old and working fifteen hour days. I'm not sure. I
- 13:05just know that I'm about two years into this one, and so it's slowly
- 13:09shutting down. It's just weird how that happens here. I'm talking about child
- 13:13labor issues abroad, and your concern is your phone's batteries maybe dying. I
- 13:18mean, come on, bike, we're not hitting the heavy topics. Back
- 13:22to the issue at hand, and that's us maybe having to work a six
- 13:24day work week, okay, I mean after comes in a while, we
- 13:26do with like different events and things like that. But you plan accordingly or
- 13:31however it may be. You know, it's not ideal. It's not six
- 13:35full days, that's right, I mean right, maybe once a year.
- 13:37But there are companies, even the US. They did this whole survey of
- 13:39big employers around the US and shockingly, nine percent of them said they plan
- 13:45to mandate a six day work week in twenty twenty five. So it's not
- 13:48a ton, but it's still you know, one out of ten. Are
- 13:50they saying like six days and then you get like a week off or is
- 13:54this just full on six? It sounds like it's they expect you to work
- 13:56even more than forty hours a week, So it's not like you could do
- 14:00six six hour days or something like that. You know, I always talk
- 14:05about nurses, and you know, really appreciate the work nurses do and I
- 14:09know it's very hard. You're on your feet all day. Never do emotions
- 14:11of it. But just overall, three twelve hour days a week would be
- 14:16about right. I feel like I think I would like that, or for
- 14:20even four ten hours. Yeah, absolutely, but the sixth there, that's
- 14:24going to be a hard No. Good morning, big ninety two point seven.
- 14:28Good morning. So I worked a four day work week, you do,
- 14:31yep, but I don't have set hours? Okay, what do you
- 14:35do? If you don't mind me being a little nosy. I'm a vendor
- 14:39and I start at four thirty in the morning, and sometimes I can have
- 14:43a fourteen hour day, right, and then the next day I'll have like
- 14:46a ten, and I'll have like a six. Would you rather have a
- 14:48five day, like normal work week, or like just eight hours a day?
- 14:52No, Like you said, I would love for ten and just be
- 14:56done. Be so nice. Thanks for calling. What was your name?
- 14:58Ashley? Ashley? All right? Well, if I ever need any vending
- 15:01I know who to call you guys. Have a good day. Yeah you
- 15:05too, Thank you. I appreciate that. That's interesting. I should have
- 15:09asked. That's very generic. I was like, vending machine. Is that
- 15:13what she's doing at four thirty every morning. I don't get up vending machines
- 15:18Amanda in the morning. I now Amanda stills the sea. Let's see.
- 15:24So we really haven't heard anything until now about Matthew Perry's death other than it
- 15:28was kind of an open and shutcase. Like it was. We just knew
- 15:31that there. I mean, there was no foul play nobody. I didn't
- 15:35think the authorities were looking into anything. Well, the autopsy, which a
- 15:39weird way to say that word, but it was released and it was due
- 15:43to the effects of ketamine. But then also they said other causes of death
- 15:46included like drowning, so it was kind of a combination of the ketamine and
- 15:50then of course he was in a hot tub, so he did drown as
- 15:52well. Right, so now we're finding out authorities are digging into how he
- 15:56got the ketamine. So no arrests have been made, but they are saying,
- 16:00yes, he was undergoing kind of an infusion therapy for depression and anxiety.
- 16:03He didn't do that, I guess right away, like that week while
- 16:07this was going on, so it was like a week prior, so the
- 16:10amounts and the levels that were in his system, Like where did he get
- 16:12it. So they're doing an investigation into that. Interesting. I mean obviously
- 16:17the person. You know, if you've known somebody who's overdosed, it's always
- 16:19like, yeah, you want to you want to get the person who gave
- 16:22it to him by kind of like Michael Jackson situation with a propofol and that
- 16:26doctor. Man. That was a long time ago. Where were you,
- 16:33Where were you working in radio? I remember it was like June twenty fifth.
- 16:37I'll never forget, Like the hallways people were running rampant, like Michael
- 16:41Jackson, just like Michael Jackson songs. Get the Michael Jackson songs on Crazy
- 16:45Wit a day. Yesterday, Corney Cox by the Way, he sat down
- 16:48for an interview and talked about how she still hangs out with Matthew Perry.
- 16:51I think he's probably one of the funniest human beings in the world. I'm
- 16:55so thankful I got to work so closely with him for so many years.
- 16:57He visits me a lot. If we believe in that, you know,
- 17:00I talked to my mom, my dad, Matthew. I feel like there
- 17:04are a lot of people that are I think that guide us. Yeah,
- 17:08I sent Matthew's around for sure. This sounds like the beginning of it.
- 17:11I could have swore I was in the future listening to Amanda talk after I
- 17:15pass away. I think he's probably one of the funniest human beings in the
- 17:18world. I'm so thankful I got to work so closely with him for so
- 17:22many years. You know that you're gonna do me like that, I'm gonna
- 17:26do you like that? Well that, yes, I will talk about you
- 17:29that way. Boy, I mean, now, what are you going to
- 17:33say about me? He's right, it was I She made me come back
- 17:40from Florida one time, and then I was like, oh boy, what
- 17:41did I do? He loved wine and all right. Diddy's abology video.
- 17:51People are still talking about it, and one of the things we are takeaways
- 17:53from it, minus the fact it was like really icky, was the fact
- 17:57that he did not say name, He did not apologize to Cassie at all.
- 18:03Well, we're finding out now that they signed a very strict NDA because
- 18:07remember they settled just last year, so neither party can say each other's name
- 18:11publicly. So that is why she is silent on social media right now,
- 18:15because people are kind of waiting for her to say, yeah, I told
- 18:18you guys, this is me, and nobody believed me. And now you've
- 18:22seen the footage, but she cannot say anything. And that's pretty standard for
- 18:26those NDAs or for those agreements or settlements, which you wish, I know,
- 18:30for our sake, for him to be able to pay for what he
- 18:33did. I know you wish that wasn't the case, but that's what they
- 18:36agreed that, Like, you're gonna get him some way, shape or form.
- 18:40I hope so. And the Drake and kenn Okamar beef got so big
- 18:45that even Tom Hanks was like, I need to know what's going on here.
- 18:48And I went through this a couple of weeks ago. I had to
- 18:51follow along it. There was like the BuzzFeed story about how far it went
- 18:55back, what was going on? Yeah, I had read it so much,
- 18:56those articles too, because I heard about it. But I just wanted
- 18:59to full breakdown. How did it start? What was exactly accused of each
- 19:03other? You know exactly? So Tom Hanks reached out to his son Chet
- 19:07and asked him to break it down via text, and Chet did all of
- 19:10us a solid by sharing the screenshots on social media. And this is how
- 19:14Tom Hanks reached out to his son, Big Maine. Can you explain that
- 19:18Drake Kendall camarfu to me? And then he sends him like fourteen paragraphs.
- 19:22It feels like of what went down, including the disc tracks, and Tom
- 19:26simply responds back, Holy cow, these are fighting words. Who's winning?
- 19:32So funny the way who is winning? I feel like this all just went
- 19:34away. Last we heard there was a drive by shooting at Drake's place where
- 19:38the security guard, to our knowledge is okay, but he was shot at.
- 19:44And I that was Kendrick went over there. From when I read that
- 19:45he went over to Drakes to basically say, hey, like that was not
- 19:48me, you know really Yeah, but now they're going over there in sleepovers
- 19:52or just like I said he went over there, I didn't say he stayed
- 19:56the night. That was weird. Yeah, video there was a video of
- 19:59Kendrick leaving the next morning. He looked a little disheveled. So I think
- 20:03that's where we're at Pillow fights. Is that what we're attending. Now here's
- 20:10what you need to know. Well, yesterday was interesting again. It was
- 20:14an eventful day. The prosecution rested its case against former President Trump in the
- 20:18hush money case at alleges he committed fraud to hide payments to adult film stars
- 20:22Stormy Daniels. The defense called its first two witnesses, which included lawyer Robert
- 20:27Costello, a witness that became problematic effort. He began muttering to himself on
- 20:30the stand and commenting on objections. The judge cleared the court room of jurors
- 20:36and reporters to discuss the prepper decorum in his courtroom. The defense also made
- 20:41a motion to dismiss the case, saying that the prosecution had failed to prove
- 20:44that business records were falsified, which is, of course the basis of the
- 20:47case. The judge said that he will wait to decide on his motion to
- 20:51dismiss. He can't be murmuring on the stand. Are you crazy? Order?
- 20:55Order, order, Come on now, I'm not even a judge,
- 21:00and I'm afair to know that. You know that. I know, all
- 21:03right, we've been hearing about this, but it officially happened. Red Lobster
- 21:07is filing for bankruptcy but plans to remain. A few businesses are going to
- 21:11be remaining, so I think there's like a hundred of them closing. I
- 21:14have not heard anything about local. Well it's still there. Yeah, they
- 21:17haven't demolished it, so that's good. That's good. That's step one.
- 21:18I think they're still open though for now. Yes, maybe here's a deep
- 21:23thought for you. They all close eventually stop it. They blame being put
- 21:30on. I guess a major misstep was the endless Shrimp. That's kind of
- 21:33where they're putting some of the blame. But they made it permanent. It
- 21:34was normally just a limited time thing. I know, crazy, I mean
- 21:38it was crazy. I don't know what the numbers look like. I gotta
- 21:41think that people high up like crunch them. As far as the numbers go,
- 21:45you gotta crunch them before you do something like that. Absolutely, trust
- 21:48me. I used to crunch numbers. Number munch Er. I loved that.
- 21:52I was seriously one of my favorites. Number Munches. That's not a
- 21:56yes, it was a game, right, yeah, but that's like that's
- 21:59a does munching of the numbers. As I've ever, we're not talking about
- 22:02munch When at what point did we transition to munching instead of crunching Because that
- 22:06was the name of the game. Number Munchers. Number Munchers and Oregon trail
- 22:11on those computers growing up? Are you kidding me? You are getting off
- 22:14the rails high. I couldn't help it. I'm talking about crunching them.
- 22:15I'm talking about like you know, before you make a big purchase, you
- 22:18gotta put some numbers in a spreadsheet. What what was the story? I'm
- 22:22talking about munching them red robsters, CLA. That's what got me, the
- 22:26cheddar biscuits. That's what I'm That's what I want to be munching on right
- 22:29now. I'd like to be in your head. You are all do you
- 22:36do? You want to be in my head? Just to take it?
- 22:37I'd like a day pass if I could. You don't, actually though,
- 22:45I'd like to return. What night? All right? A company called pop
- 22:49i d has signed a deal with JP Morgan, so it's customers can start
- 22:53paying for things. What was the name of the company again, pop I
- 22:57D? Oh? Did you pop ey D? I guess I'm right into
- 23:03that. But you know, like pop Ey the character got it, got
- 23:07it, got it, got it. So what customers can start expecting.
- 23:11They're doing a little pilot program right now as facial recognition when you're paying for
- 23:15things. This is unsettling to me. Yes, it sounds good, Like,
- 23:18oh, okay, I can just look at you, blink twice and
- 23:22I just paid with my debit card. Well, I think it's where we're
- 23:25headed. I know right now it might be scary. I guess I'm just
- 23:26trust me. This is how I felt about flying cars, drones, all
- 23:30of that. Yeah, like I said maybe a week ago. The sooner
- 23:33I can get this wallet out of my back pocket, the better, the
- 23:36better. I mean, what are we doing all right? Today? We
- 23:37have a wind advisory? Could see got something about fifty miles per hour?
- 23:41Otherwise rain throughout the day higher sixty one, Like get a minute in the
- 23:44morning, Come on, get up on dig seven. Here's a woman that
- 23:49could use a little direction, in my opinion. She claims to be the
- 23:53most tattooed woman in Australia. Okay, just to give you an idea,
- 23:57how many tattoos and body modification she has going on head to toel she has
- 24:02spent over one hundred and forty four thousand dollars. Oh my gosh, does
- 24:06she have a piece of her body not tattooed after this? I don't think
- 24:08so, because she has just gotten her eyeballs tattooed. Oh gosh, how
- 24:15is that even possible? Well, it is possible. Here's the craziest thing,
- 24:18Even crazier than just the fact she's doing it. She did it already
- 24:22seven years ago. Oh, this just like makes my eyes water thinking about
- 24:26it. And after she did it seven years ago, she went blind for
- 24:32three whole weeks, couldn't see a thing. How would you ever legally tattoo
- 24:37eyeballs? And are you tattooing? Yeah, there's no way you can do
- 24:41anything you want to your body. Yeah, but what tattoo artist is going
- 24:44to allow? And how you're puncturing your eye? I don't get it.
- 24:48I can get you as information curious? Yeah, like I'd like some more
- 24:52information. And is it like coloring it or what? Yeah? So she
- 24:55the first time she had gotten the whites of her eyes inked bright blue.
- 25:00I imagine that it looks like something out of what's that movie? What's that
- 25:03blue guy movie? Don't they have contacts for stuff like this? People?
- 25:06Yeah? But I mean, if you're gonna do it, commit now real
- 25:10quick. What's that blue movie? You know what I'm talking about? Big
- 25:11one, big big movie? Avatar? Yeah? Thank you? Got it
- 25:15looking like something out of Avatar? Now seven years later, after getting the
- 25:18whites of her eyes colored blue, she's got like a black swirl added.
- 25:22So now it looks more oh she aanah. To be fair, you know,
- 25:26to be fair, it does looks pretty cool. You want to see
- 25:30your picture right here? Oh no, no, it looks like she has
- 25:33a black guy. Yeah. That's gotta be the worst spot to get a
- 25:36tattoo. See. I was actually thinking kind of like around your your like
- 25:38nosearara, just even around your eyes, how sensitive that would be and even
- 25:42close to like a muscle the area I've always wanted a foot tattoo. That's
- 25:47kind of the one place I've wanted it. And everybody's like, uh uh,
- 25:49the pain of a tattoo on your foot would be awful, that's what
- 25:52they say. But like you could get through it, right, yeah,
- 25:56but then it also rubs off so much so you have to get it filled
- 25:59a lot were shoes. How mad do you want it? That's what I
- 26:02would ask you. It's not very bad, That's why I don't have That's
- 26:04fine. Yeah, I mean I got one on my arm and it was
- 26:06like uncomfortable, but not anything It would prevent me from getting one. Did
- 26:10you cry? Tear up. No, No, absolutely, not a bit
- 26:15wry me a man Amanda crying. I don't think so. No, I'm
- 26:19just like this. An alcohol swab makes me a little like you know what
- 26:23I mean, before you're about to get like a needle. That smell alone
- 26:27makes me cringe. Really, yes, look at my arm. I mean
- 26:30I don't eat plasma, so I'm getting needles just pumped in me twice a
- 26:33week. I'm such a pants too, such a pancy. It's stuck a
- 26:38pen in you look at it. Good for you though, that's awesome.
- 26:41Yeah, it's all about saved lives. Absolutely, you're one hundred percent right,
- 26:44Amanda. Like get Amanda in the morning on what did you stop really
- 26:51like getting into new music? Because there's a certain age that we all kind
- 26:55of get to where you just start to kind of listen to the same stuff,
- 26:57the same stuff you grew up with. Before you answer a mandon okay,
- 27:00there's actual studies being done to determine when adults stop listening to new music,
- 27:07and they determined that it is approximately at the age of thirty one.
- 27:11Is really so, do we just start to listen to the same stuff so
- 27:14the tastes of your music evolved between your teen years throughout your twenties, and
- 27:18then you reach the maturity at around thirty one. Interesting. I mean,
- 27:22this is a tough question because I listened to our new music all of the
- 27:26time. And if you're if you're listening to this radio station, of course
- 27:30you're hearing new music. Yeah, and sometimes it hits and sometimes I'm like,
- 27:33oh, okay, whatever. I I mean, if I were to
- 27:37pick a genre of whatever, you no secret I'm a country girl, but
- 27:41I'll listen to like nineties country. We just went on a road trip and
- 27:44outside of listening to Luke COM's Fastcar one hundred and forty five times with the
- 27:48kids, it was I like, like old school country, Yeah, that's
- 27:52kind kind of my jail well, or we'll do like nineties like pop.
- 27:57Yeah. I mean, it's just the nostalgia. And some people try to
- 28:00deny nostalgia, like as if it's not you know, it's not cool or
- 28:03not hip to enjoy older music. But I mean there's something to it,
- 28:07Like I don't. I just embrace it. I play in the nineties and
- 28:10two thousands cover band, and based on the reactions of people when we play
- 28:14an old blank win eighty two song or you know all American rejects versus if
- 28:18we were to try to play something new, the reactions like I'll take the
- 28:22old one. Yeah, I like that reaction from people. Yeah, it
- 28:26is interesting. I think of some of the songs, like, for instance,
- 28:30right now, justin Timberlakes new Jam, right away, I was like,
- 28:32I do one of my favorite songs right now. You know some of
- 28:34Taylor's new music loving that. It really just depends. And it's not to
- 28:38say you don't enjoy new music, but are you really seeking it out?
- 28:41Like, are you listening if somebody drops a new album. Maybe, with
- 28:45the exception of Taylor's What's Gonna Say? A lot of friends who are swifties,
- 28:48and it's amazing to me how they're still like they hanging on to every
- 28:52word she says, going through the lyrics. I mean, they are the
- 28:56ones that back in the day when we were in BMG and Columbia house music
- 29:00clubs, you'd open up the CD and start going through the lyrics just to
- 29:03try to memorize it. Yeah, it does say that people with kids are
- 29:07more likely to listen to new music. Of course, if you're in the
- 29:10car with your kids and they're constantly wanting to listen to their stuff. Well,
- 29:12then just you don't have much of a choice. You're gonna be listening
- 29:15to new music. But I feel like I always enjoyed older music, even
- 29:18when I remember, like when you could first download music illegally, so like
- 29:22early two thousands, LimeWire days, napstrac all I wanted to download was the
- 29:26songs I quote grew up with, even though thinking back, I'm maybe thirteen
- 29:30years old, so you're talking about four or five years before, you know,
- 29:34But to you then it was really old ninety stuff. Yeah no,
- 29:38I hear yeah, like Sheryl Crow. And I don't need to I don't
- 29:41need to explain to you what nineties music is, you know what I mean?
- 29:45Yeah, I still try to listen to new bands, being a band
- 29:48boy, but even then, it's like some of the bands, the new
- 29:52quote new bands I'm into, well they've been around for ten years, so
- 29:53it's not really that new. Yeah. Yeah, I like a good mix.
- 29:56I like to hear a new song like kind of an EBB and flow.
- 30:00Oh yeah, yeah, real ebb and flow, Like if I were
- 30:03to burn a CD. Used to be like slow jams or Ashley and Amanda
- 30:07cruising the strip in Woodina Deer Creek hit makes this Woe would Be? That
- 30:12was a name of it. Oh yeah, you want to run out of
- 30:15right? Could you small? How small? Could you write? Oh yeah?
- 30:17And then you just tons of like ridiculous. I wish I had somebody
- 30:21stole my huge thing of CDs, big purple case of them. I wish
- 30:26I could go back and know some of the mixed not tapes of CDs that
- 30:30I had had. Yeah, I can still remember, like I can remember
- 30:33certain songs that came like if I hear a fifty cent song, because I
- 30:37had pretty much all my burn CDs were almost just exclusively fifty cent. Can
- 30:41you hear the end of a song? I think? I know? Yeah.
- 30:45Could you listen to so many times? And that's what's different now,
- 30:47You don't like, there's just so much music and it's so accessible. There
- 30:51was nothing better to listen to the heck out of eighteen songs over and over
- 30:55for the same an entire summer. You youngsters listening right now, You'll just
- 31:00never know. That's moral of the story, you youngsters. You tapes right,
- 31:04Oh, I remember I remember putting the tape on the tape before church
- 31:10on Sunday mornings to record like the Rick D's Weekly countdown so I could hear
- 31:15it. That's ridiculous. Yeah, you could get like four songs on it.
- 31:18I remember mowing the lawn as a kid with four songs on the tapes
- 31:22over and over, and we had a big yard. So the amount of
- 31:25times I listened to Semi Charmed Life by Third Eye Blind. Not mad about
- 31:29it. I'm just saying I remember cruising to Barnesville to visit Grim and Milly
- 31:33and Semi charm Life. That was. We never knew the lyrics like you
- 31:36couldn't just find you you do? We sing at every show we played.
- 31:38I don't think my brothers still knows the worst we were like writing a pen
- 31:41and a paper, or going back and forth just trying to hear what it
- 31:45was doing. Crystal Meth will lift you up until you break. I don't
- 31:48remember those knotty lyrics. I know they actually censored it. Maybe I shouldn't
- 31:52have said it. I don't know. Yeah, I don't think I knew that
