Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Good Saturday morning. It's nice to have you with us
- 0:02Speaker 1: on the Week in Review. Verdict with Ted Cruz, Ben
- 0:05Speaker 1: Ferguson with you. And here are some of the stories
- 0:07Speaker 1: that you may have missed that we talked about this week.
- 0:09Speaker 1: First up, El Saeed trying to tone down the rhetoric
- 0:13Speaker 1: of his past to make you feel like he's not
- 0:16Speaker 1: a radical. Well, how radical is he? Just take a
- 0:19Speaker 1: look at his sister in her own words. And you'll
- 0:21Speaker 1: understand exactly where they're all coming from. Up next, the
- 0:25Speaker 1: Democrat Socialists of America, they put out their platform agenda
- 0:29Speaker 1: and it's radical. Well, now the Democratic Party has put
- 0:33Speaker 1: out some of their new mandates and it includes abolishing ICE.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Are they competing for who's more extreme? We explain that
- 0:41Speaker 1: as well. And finally, a new national security concern that
- 0:45Speaker 1: involves Hassan Piker and his brother. So what has he
- 0:48Speaker 1: said to put him on a concern list? We have
- 0:51Speaker 1: that for you as well. It's the Week in Review,
- 0:54Speaker 1: and it starts right now.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Democrats are used to the media just being their cheerleaders
- 1:00Speaker 2: and press agents, and so any criticism they don't know
- 1:03Speaker 2: how to handle. All right, so you've heard the stunning
- 1:06Speaker 2: news about the conference he's speaking at. alongside this radical
- 1:10Speaker 2: calling for pedophilia of your young family members. You've heard
- 1:13Speaker 2: the stunning news that he was responsible for killing over
- 1:15Speaker 2: 4,000 dogs and cats and puppies and kittens. Surely there
- 1:19Speaker 2: can't be more. And as the old movie Airplane says,
- 1:24Speaker 2: yes there can and don't call me Shirley. I want
- 1:28Speaker 2: you to take a moment and acquaint yourself with Abdul
- 1:31Speaker 2: Al-Sayyad's sister. Now, Abdul's own record is of being a Marxist, Islamist,
- 1:40Speaker 2: America hater. I got to say, as bad as he is,
- 1:44Speaker 2: his sister is something really special. She's a professor at
- 1:49Speaker 2: the University of Chicago, and unfortunately, so many of our
- 1:52Speaker 2: professors are radical. She's a full-on communist. She's a Marxist.
- 1:56Speaker 2: She's a rabid Islamist. She is a naked Jew hater,
- 2:01Speaker 2: and she hates America. I'm going to back all this up.
- 2:04Speaker 2: These are not empty charges. All right, October 7th, October 7th,
- 2:10Speaker 2: when Hamas massacred over 1,200 innocents in Israel, when they
- 2:15Speaker 2: raped little girls and women in the streets, that morning,
- 2:21Speaker 2: Abdul's sister, Eman Abdel Hadi, tweeted the following. This is
- 2:28Speaker 2: the entirety of her tweet. Mourning freedom with a Palestinian flag.
- 2:34Speaker 3: Wow.
- 2:35Speaker 2: That was her tweet celebrating... That was at 5.51 a.m.
- 2:40Speaker 2: on October 7th, 2023. That's while people, while women and
- 2:44Speaker 2: girls are still being raped, she's celebrating. And you might say, well,
- 2:47Speaker 2: maybe she didn't know the facts. Well, then let's go
- 2:52Speaker 2: to later in the day on October 7th. So Bernie Sanders,
- 2:56Speaker 2: Bernie Sanders, his own record attacking Israel and welcoming anti-Semitism
- 3:02Speaker 2: is unfortunate. But here's what Bernie Sanders said on October 7th.
- 3:06Speaker 2: I absolutely condemn the horrifying attack on Israel by Hamas
- 3:10Speaker 2: and Islamic Jihad. There is no justification for this violence,
- 3:15Speaker 2: and innocent people on both sides will suffer hugely because
- 3:18Speaker 2: of it. It must end now. So that's what Bernie
- 3:21Speaker 2: Sanders said the morning of October 7th. Here's what Abdul's
- 3:24Speaker 2: sister said at 11.07 a.m. on October 7th, retweeting or
- 3:28Speaker 2: quote-tweeting Bernie Sanders. What a disappointment. If you can't stand
- 3:35Speaker 2: with the people that have been held in an open
- 3:38Speaker 2: prison for 16 years, finally fighting their oppressors, how can
- 3:43Speaker 2: you claim to stand for justice? So understand, her complaint
- 3:48Speaker 2: is Bernie Sanders was not pro-Hamas enough. She needed him
- 3:52Speaker 2: to be even more pro-Hamas. That's how radical she is.
- 3:57Speaker 2: That's how much she hates Israel. That's how much she
- 4:00Speaker 2: hates Jews. And by the way, She's also a communist.
- 4:06Speaker 2: So listen to her. This is her own voice talking
- 4:09Speaker 2: about what she thinks about capitalism.
- 4:13Speaker 3: Capitalism is at the root of pretty much all of
- 4:16Speaker 3: our social ills and has some way that it plays
- 4:20Speaker 3: a lot into all the oppressions that we face. So
- 4:24Speaker 3: for me, I don't see issues of sexuality or race
- 4:30Speaker 3: or gender as separate from issues of economic justice. Capitalism
- 4:35Speaker 3: has done a really good job of dividing us and
- 4:39Speaker 3: has done a really good job of objectifying our bodies
- 4:42Speaker 3: and just basically stealing from generation after generation of people who.
- 4:49Speaker 4: Aren't at the top.
- 4:50Speaker 3: So socialism really affects every type of political activity that
- 4:54Speaker 3: I'm in. There's no separation for me between all of
- 4:59Speaker 3: these things.
- 5:00Speaker 1: Senator, you listen to how well thought out her answer was.
- 5:06Speaker 1: This is a core belief. I think it's pretty clear
- 5:10Speaker 1: that you have core beliefs in this family. And this
- 5:13Speaker 1: is the radicalization of a family. One of them has
- 5:17Speaker 1: to dial it back a little bit, even though he
- 5:19Speaker 1: didn't dial it back for years. Let's also be clear
- 5:22Speaker 1: about that in Al-Said. And so it's like, OK, I
- 5:25Speaker 1: guess we can pull it back just a little bit
- 5:27Speaker 1: while I'm trying to, you know, become an elected official.
- 5:31Speaker 2: Yeah, look, and Al-Said has talked about how he hates Thanksgiving.
- 5:35Speaker 2: It turns out his sister does, too. Here's what she's
- 5:38Speaker 2: tweeted on Thanksgiving and July 4th. Quote, we can't have
- 5:43Speaker 2: nice things under settler colonialism. May all the empires fall.
- 5:49Speaker 2: And then on July 4th, quote, excuse me if I
- 5:52Speaker 2: don't celebrate the transfer of stolen land from one colonizer
- 5:57Speaker 2: to another. Hashtag July 4th. And then, amazingly enough, so
- 6:02Speaker 2: she didn't think Bernie Sanders was woke enough or Israel
- 6:05Speaker 2: hating enough or America hating enough. She also didn't think
- 6:08Speaker 2: the University of Michigan was. So the University of Michigan,
- 6:11Speaker 2: on December 8th, 2023, tweeted out, in the context of
- 6:17Speaker 2: the national discourse, the University of Michigan unequivocally condemns calls
- 6:23Speaker 2: for the genocide of Jews or any other peoples as
- 6:27Speaker 2: this is antithetical to our values.
- 6:29Speaker 5: So, okay.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Fairly mild tweet saying that University of Michigan is against
- 6:34Speaker 2: the genocide of Jews. What was Abdul's sister's reaction to this? Quote,
- 6:40Speaker 2: the students you have been arresting and disciplining have not
- 6:44Speaker 2: been calling for a genocide of Jews. They have been
- 6:47Speaker 2: calling for an end to the current actual ongoing genocide
- 6:51Speaker 2: of the Palestinian people. I am ashamed to be a
- 6:56Speaker 2: Michigan Wolverine.
- 6:58Speaker 5: Wow.
- 7:00Speaker 2: That was in response to Michigan saying they opposed the
- 7:04Speaker 2: genocide of Jews. That made her ashamed to be a
- 7:08Speaker 2: Michigan Wolverine. And final thing I want you to hear
- 7:10Speaker 2: about her. Surely, she's proud to be a professor at
- 7:13Speaker 2: the University of Chicago. I mean, after all, that's her employer.
- 7:17Speaker 2: That's where she teaches. She teaches right now. She poisons
- 7:19Speaker 2: the minds of young students right now at the University
- 7:21Speaker 2: of Chicago. Obviously, she's proud of that. Well, turns out
- 7:25Speaker 2: she's not. Give a listen to what she has to
- 7:27Speaker 2: say about the University of Chicago's where she is a
- 7:30Speaker 2: professor right now.
- 7:31Speaker 4: F * * * the University of Chicago. It's evil. Like,
- 7:34Speaker 4: you know, it's a colonial landlord. Like, why would I
- 7:38Speaker 4: put any of my political energy into this space?
- 7:40Speaker 3: And I kind of had a little bit of disdain for, like,
- 7:44Speaker 3: people who spent a lot of time doing that. And
- 7:47Speaker 3: the genocide really collapsed that and made me realize that....
- 7:53Speaker 6: Two things.
- 7:54Speaker 4: One is that, well, my students needed me.
- 7:56Speaker 3: So it was like, oh, actually, I have to organize
- 7:59Speaker 3: here to take care of my students, who I do
- 8:01Speaker 3: care about. But I also realized, and I think this
- 8:05Speaker 3: is a lesson, this is a painful lesson that a
- 8:07Speaker 3: lot of us in the Palestine Solidarity Movement have been learning,
- 8:10Speaker 3: is that We don't have power. We can shift the
- 8:14Speaker 3: moral authority all we want. And we've won the moral question.
- 8:18Speaker 3: That was the imperative that we've had.
- 8:20Speaker 6: Done.
- 8:21Speaker 4: Check. Put Palestine in the national consciousness. We did it.
- 8:26Speaker 4: Make people sympathetic to Palestine. Teach the history. We did it.
- 8:29Speaker 4: Now you have white boys on the north side of
- 8:31Speaker 4: Chicago being like, hey, man, free Palestine.
- 8:33Speaker 5: I'm like, OK.
- 8:35Speaker 4: Did not see it coming. Glad it's here. But what
- 8:40Speaker 4: we don't have is power.
- 8:41Speaker 3: And I think for me, the question of base building
- 8:43Speaker 3: is about I think the question that I am asking
- 8:46Speaker 3: myself and I'm asking you to ask yourself is where
- 8:49Speaker 3: can I actually build power? Turns out I work at
- 8:53Speaker 3: one of the biggest employers in the city of Chicago.
- 8:56Speaker 3: I work at a place that is a landlord, a
- 8:58Speaker 3: health care provider, a police force.
- 9:02Speaker 4: But they are right. And a place where.
- 9:06Speaker 3: I have access to thousands of people that I could
- 9:08Speaker 3: potentially organize. And you know what?
- 9:10Speaker 4: It's not fun. Organizing academics?
- 9:13Speaker 3: Next time you're in your organizing meeting being frustrated, please
- 9:15Speaker 3: think of me. Please think about me trying to organize academics.
- 9:22Speaker 5: It's brutal.
- 9:23Speaker 4: I never saw this coming.
- 9:25Speaker 3: However, but I'm just like, actually, this is where I
- 9:28Speaker 3: need to build power, right?
- 9:30Speaker 4: This is my best possible structural leverage.
- 9:34Speaker 3: And so I do, I do one-on-ones with my liberal
- 9:37Speaker 3: colleagues who are like, well, I don't know, but you know,
- 9:39Speaker 3: it's just, I think we should live the life of
- 9:41Speaker 3: the mind here in Hyde Park.
- 9:43Speaker 4: It was like, yeah, I know.
- 9:45Speaker 6: I hear you totally.
- 9:46Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 9:48Speaker 7: Unbelievable.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Like this is, and this, and by the way, this
- 9:51Speaker 1: is when you and I've worn for a long time.
- 9:54Speaker 1: You need to pay attention where you send your kids
- 9:56Speaker 1: to school and who's indoctrinating them because this, is a
- 10:00Speaker 1: woman who is indoctrinating children or young adults in college
- 10:04Speaker 1: each and every day.
- 10:06Speaker 2: So what she says is F the University of Chicago.
- 10:11Speaker 4: It's evil.
- 10:13Speaker 2: But where can I build power? I have access to
- 10:18Speaker 2: thousands of people I can potentially organize. So the students,
- 10:22Speaker 2: the young people, she is trying to proselytize them and
- 10:26Speaker 2: turn them into Islamists and communists. And what she says
- 10:30Speaker 2: explicitly is, this is where I need to build power. Well,
- 10:36Speaker 2: let me just ask you something. Where do you think
- 10:39Speaker 2: Abdul El-Sayed thinks he needs to build power? This is
- 10:44Speaker 2: a family raised on hate. And this is a family
- 10:49Speaker 2: devoted to hate. That's how radical the Democrats nominees are
- 10:54Speaker 2: this cycle.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Now, if you want to hear the rest of this conversation,
- 10:58Speaker 1: you can go back and listen to the full podcast
- 11:00Speaker 1: from earlier this week.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Now on to story number two.
- 11:05Speaker 1: And by the way, if you thought it was just
- 11:07Speaker 1: the Democratic Socialists of America that were really getting their mojo,
- 11:11Speaker 1: I guess now the DNC is trying to say, no, no, no,
- 11:16Speaker 1: we're just as radical as you are. with a new
- 11:19Speaker 1: stance that the Democratic National Committee, just when you thought
- 11:23Speaker 1: they might try to like dial it down a little bit,
- 11:26Speaker 1: the crazy, they have now changed their platform to say,
- 11:29Speaker 1: hold on, we're all in on abolishing ICE, making sure
- 11:33Speaker 1: they don't exist anymore.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Well, and there's some Democrat politicians who pretend, oh, this
- 11:39Speaker 2: is an extreme view. It's only by the radicals, the DSA,
- 11:42Speaker 2: the communists and socialists in our party, although they won't
- 11:44Speaker 2: admit they're communists and socialists in their party. It's not
- 11:47Speaker 2: the rest of us normal Democrats. Well, this past week,
- 11:51Speaker 2: the DNC was meeting in Austin, Texas, sadly in our
- 11:55Speaker 2: home state, and the DNC adopted a resolution urging congressional
- 12:02Speaker 2: Democrats to abolish ICE. And the abolition measure, it was
- 12:08Speaker 2: known as Resolution 27, it cleared the DNC's resolution committee.
- 12:14Speaker 2: In a 25 to 12 vote, with one abstention, it
- 12:19Speaker 2: headed to the full membership. It was bundled into a
- 12:23Speaker 2: larger package, and it was approved by the full membership.
- 12:27Speaker 4: What do you think the vote was?
- 12:29Speaker 1: I'm assuming, knowing the Democratic Party and radical as they are,
- 12:31Speaker 1: it was probably a very high success rate.
- 12:34Speaker 2: Unanimous.
- 12:36Speaker 4: There you go.
- 12:37Speaker 2: Every single person voting voted yes. The vote's non-binding. It
- 12:41Speaker 2: doesn't formally change the party's platform for 2028. But the
- 12:44Speaker 2: DNC has now voted for a resolution saying abolish ICE.
- 12:50Speaker 2: And understand what abolish ICE means. ICE is the Immigration
- 12:55Speaker 2: and Customs Enforcement Agency. It is the agency that tracks
- 12:58Speaker 2: down illegal immigrants inside the interior of the United States.
- 13:02Speaker 2: It tracks down gangbangers. It tracks down MS-13 in Trender, Aragua.
- 13:08Speaker 2: It tracks down murderers and child rapists and human traffickers.
- 13:13Speaker 2: And the position now adopted unanimously by the DNC is
- 13:17Speaker 2: the Democrats want to abolish it. If you abolish ICE,
- 13:21Speaker 2: it means you are no longer willing to enforce our
- 13:24Speaker 2: immigration laws. It means you want the illegal immigrants in
- 13:27Speaker 2: America to stay here. By the way, with no ICE,
- 13:30Speaker 2: nobody gets deported. Once you get in, you stay here
- 13:33Speaker 2: forever with no ICE. With no ICE, the criminal gangbangers
- 13:37Speaker 2: who are illegals They're not prosecuted. They're not arrested. By
- 13:41Speaker 2: the way, the over 300,000 children that the Biden administration
- 13:46Speaker 2: had in federal custody that they handed over to adults
- 13:48Speaker 2: and then lost. And many of those adults were not
- 13:51Speaker 2: family members. They don't know where they are. The Trump administration,
- 13:54Speaker 2: one of the most important things they've done is they've
- 13:56Speaker 2: gone and tracked down thousands upon thousands of those kids
- 13:59Speaker 2: and gotten them out of situations where they're facing the
- 14:02Speaker 2: potential for abuse, sexual abuse, physical abuse. The position of
- 14:06Speaker 2: the Democrats is to heck with those kids, leave them
- 14:08Speaker 2: where they are. We're not going to enforce. We're not
- 14:10Speaker 2: going to investigate. We're not going to do anything because, look,
- 14:14Speaker 2: Abolish ICE is the immigration version of Abolish the Police.
- 14:20Speaker 2: And we've talked a lot on this pod about how
- 14:23Speaker 2: radicalized the Democrats have gotten. This is no longer the fringe.
- 14:28Speaker 2: This is the unanimously adopted resolution position of the entire
- 14:32Speaker 2: Democrat National Committee. That means even the most supposedly moderate Democrat,
- 14:40Speaker 2: their party's position is get rid of ICE altogether.
- 14:44Speaker 1: And Senator, final question on this. You look at the
- 14:49Speaker 1: pushing here by the left to force, I think it's
- 14:53Speaker 1: pretty darn clear, the Democratic Party to just become more
- 14:59Speaker 1: and more and more extreme. Will there be pushback or
- 15:03Speaker 1: is this them just admitting, hey, stick with us. We're
- 15:07Speaker 1: going to where you are in the Democratic Socialists. Or
- 15:10Speaker 1: do you believe that voters are going to say Democratic Party,
- 15:14Speaker 1: you've gone too far?
- 15:16Speaker 2: Well, look, I hope so. That's what the midterms are
- 15:19Speaker 2: going to determine, at least as an initial push. I
- 15:22Speaker 2: hope the voters say, listen, I agree. don't want unlimited
- 15:25Speaker 2: illegal immigrants in our country. I don't want criminals released.
- 15:28Speaker 2: I don't want ICE abolished. I don't want the police abolished.
- 15:31Speaker 2: I want to lock up criminals and bad guys. Here's
- 15:33Speaker 2: what the White House said. A White House spokeswoman, Lauren Biss,
- 15:37Speaker 2: said the following this weekend, quote, extreme radical Democrats want
- 15:41Speaker 2: to abolish ICE and defund the police. Instead of trying
- 15:45Speaker 2: to abolish ICE, Democrats should be thanking ICE law enforcement
- 15:48Speaker 2: officers for putting their lives on the line to arrest
- 15:51Speaker 2: and remove murderers, rapists, pedophiles, and gang members from American communities.
- 15:57Speaker 2: Many of these criminals were released from jails by Democrat
- 15:59Speaker 2: radical politicians. President Trump's effort to remove criminal illegal aliens
- 16:04Speaker 2: from American communities is already delivering results, including the lowest
- 16:09Speaker 2: murder rate in 125 years. That's a profound record of success,
- 16:17Speaker 2: but look, Elections are about making the case to the
- 16:20Speaker 2: American people. So I hope all of the Republicans on
- 16:23Speaker 2: the ballot make the case that producing extraordinary results in immigration,
- 16:29Speaker 2: seeing illegal border crossings drop 99%, producing 20% drops in
- 16:34Speaker 2: the murder rates and 20% drops in the deaths from
- 16:36Speaker 2: drug overdoses, that is saving the lives of literally thousands
- 16:40Speaker 2: of Americans. That's a record of success. And the Democrats
- 16:43Speaker 2: are saying, don't just go back to Joe Biden era. Listen,
- 16:46Speaker 2: when Biden was president, we had ICE. We had not
- 16:49Speaker 2: abolished the police, although Democrats in cities had slashed the
- 16:54Speaker 2: funding of a number of police departments. The Democrat position
- 16:58Speaker 2: now is go further than Biden. They don't just want
- 17:01Speaker 2: open borders. They want to release violent criminals. And I
- 17:05Speaker 2: got to say, I don't think that's where most Americans are.
- 17:10Speaker 2: I think if you talk to your average American citizen,
- 17:13Speaker 2: a Republican, yes, but also an independent, or even most Democrats,
- 17:18Speaker 2: and ask them, do you want to release murderers and
- 17:20Speaker 2: rapists into your community? It is only the extreme zealots
- 17:25Speaker 2: who would say yes. That used to be a position
- 17:27Speaker 2: that was a bipartisan, like, obvious duh position. Today, the
- 17:33Speaker 2: Democrats are being driven by their zealots, and the rest
- 17:35Speaker 2: of the party is terrified of those zealots. And so,
- 17:40Speaker 2: Between now and Election Day, we need to make the
- 17:42Speaker 2: case to the voters, and I hope every candidate does,
- 17:44Speaker 2: so I can tell you on this podcast, we're certainly
- 17:46Speaker 2: going to lay out the facts and make the case
- 17:48Speaker 2: that we should be protecting American citizens and not releasing violent, criminal,
- 17:54Speaker 2: illegal aliens into the United States. I think that's basic
- 17:57Speaker 2: common sense. I think that's where most Americans are.
- 17:59Speaker 1: As before, if you want to hear the rest of
- 18:01Speaker 1: this conversation on this topic, you can go back and
- 18:04Speaker 1: download the podcast from earlier this week to hear the
- 18:07Speaker 1: entire thing. I want to get back to the big story,
- 18:11Speaker 1: number three of the week, you may have missed. All right, Senator,
- 18:13Speaker 1: I want to get into this national security issue, the
- 18:16Speaker 1: media not talking about it. But Hassan Piker's got a
- 18:20Speaker 1: wingman brother. He is a space engineer with security clearance. Now,
- 18:25Speaker 1: that on its face, not a big deal. What's a
- 18:27Speaker 1: big deal is the details behind the brother.
- 18:30Speaker 2: Well, let's start with Hassan Piker. Hassan Piker is a radical.
- 18:34Speaker 2: This entire show, we've been talking about the radicals who
- 18:37Speaker 2: sadly are becoming more and more commonplace on the left,
- 18:40Speaker 2: more and more commonplace in the Democrat Party. And Assan
- 18:43Speaker 2: Piker is a great example of he's an influencer who
- 18:46Speaker 2: the Democrats have embraced. He is a communist. He is
- 18:49Speaker 2: an Islamist. He hates America. He routinely rails. He hates
- 18:54Speaker 2: African Americans. He hates white Americans.
- 18:56Speaker 5: He hates the.
- 18:56Speaker 2: United States of America. He has said, and this is
- 18:59Speaker 2: a quote, America deserved 9-11.
- 19:02Speaker 7: Ah.
- 19:04Speaker 2: This is, and by the way, Abdul Al Saad and
- 19:07Speaker 2: other Democrats campaign with him, embrace him. Look, when they
- 19:11Speaker 2: stand next to him and both figuratively and literally embrace him,
- 19:16Speaker 2: they're saying they support his ideas. Well, turns out Hassan
- 19:19Speaker 2: Piker has a brother, and his brother is in a
- 19:22Speaker 2: position that if he believes the same thing Hassan does,
- 19:25Speaker 2: he's in a position to do real damage. Here's a
- 19:28Speaker 2: story from the Washington Free Beacon. Hassan Piker's younger brother
- 19:32Speaker 2: is an aerospace engineer with security clearances who spent years
- 19:36Speaker 2: working on U.S. military projects for Boeing, projects that include
- 19:40Speaker 2: Air Force One and the top secret, quote, doomsday plane
- 19:45Speaker 2: designed for nuclear war. Now, let's see, is this guy
- 19:49Speaker 2: maybe the brother he doesn't have anything to do with
- 19:51Speaker 2: this on Piker. He doesn't agree with his views. Maybe
- 19:53Speaker 2: they're estranged. That might be a different circumstance. Well, turns
- 19:56Speaker 2: out that is not the case. Let me continue reading.
- 19:59Speaker 2: Murat Piker, an engineer who spent more than a decade
- 20:02Speaker 2: at Boeing, regularly appears on his older brother's controversial social
- 20:07Speaker 2: media channels. and has also accompanied him to events. Hassan
- 20:14Speaker 2: has declared that, quote, America deserved 9-11, bragged about his
- 20:18Speaker 2: support for Hamas, spoken in favor of Iran's right to
- 20:20Speaker 2: defend itself, and blamed Iran's death to America and great
- 20:23Speaker 2: Satan rhetoric on the United States, quote, messing around in
- 20:27Speaker 2: the Middle East. Well, his kid brother, Murat, worked as
- 20:31Speaker 2: a full-time employee at Boeing for more than a decade
- 20:35Speaker 2: and left on his own, of his own volition, earlier
- 20:38Speaker 2: this year. He said, quote, my background includes significant experience
- 20:43Speaker 2: at Boeing Space and Defense, where I led mechanical design
- 20:46Speaker 2: and integration for next-generation satellite structures, managed high-pressure anomaly investigations,
- 20:53Speaker 2: and defined structural interfaces across subsystems. That's what Murat says
- 20:57Speaker 2: on his LinkedIn page. Murat and Hasan Piker were both
- 21:03Speaker 2: born in New Jersey, but they did their primary and
- 21:06Speaker 2: their secondary schooling in Turkey. Marat worked on Air Force One.
- 21:13Speaker 2: And you just, you have to ask. I don't know
- 21:16Speaker 2: if Marat shares his brother's hatred for America, his brother's
- 21:21Speaker 2: embrace of radical Islam. But given that they have done,
- 21:27Speaker 2: Hassan Piker's show repeatedly together, gone to events together, that
- 21:31Speaker 2: is a reasonable inference and it's a reasonable question And
- 21:35Speaker 2: it raises the question, listen, if this is someone that
- 21:37Speaker 2: hates America and wants to do damage to America, what
- 21:40Speaker 2: harm could he do with security clearances working for Boeing
- 21:44Speaker 2: and for the military on very, very sensitive projects?
- 21:48Speaker 1: Yeah, very sensitive projects. And, you know, when you look
- 21:51Speaker 1: at this, it's being exposed. I'm glad, by the way,
- 21:54Speaker 1: for the work the Washington Free Beacon has done. Yet again,
- 21:58Speaker 1: another example, Senator, of a major story that has national
- 22:02Speaker 1: security implications here. And the mainstream media just completely looks
- 22:08Speaker 1: the other way.
- 22:09Speaker 2: Well, they do because they don't want to cover this.
- 22:12Speaker 2: They don't want to cover the fact. And understand that
- 22:16Speaker 2: when Chuck Schumer, when Abdul Al-Sayed had been asked, do
- 22:21Speaker 2: they distance themselves from Hassan Piker? They consistently say no,
- 22:27Speaker 2: that they want these radicals. Here, give a listen to
- 22:30Speaker 2: Ro Khanna, who is the Democrat congressman being asked if
- 22:35Speaker 2: Democrats should distance themselves from radical Hassan Piker.
- 22:39Speaker 7: You stuck your neck out for progressives like Abdullah Saeed.
- 22:42Speaker 7: You also supported Plattner before the allegations came out. You've
- 22:45Speaker 7: also stuck your neck out for Hassan Piker. And you've
- 22:48Speaker 7: seen that Hassan Piker is now being attacked 24-7 on
- 22:51Speaker 7: Fox News. Here's Haley Stevens going on Fox and saying, well,
- 22:55Speaker 7: the first thing, you know, how El-Sayed could moderate to
- 22:58Speaker 7: voters is to get rid of the Piker affiliation.
- 23:01Speaker 4: You've seen Neera.
- 23:01Speaker 6: Tanden retweet Laura Loomer's attack on Hassan Piker. Your comment
- 23:07Speaker 6: on Hassan Piker, what should the Democrats do with him?
- 23:11Speaker 6: Should they abandon him? Do you renounce your support of him?
- 23:15Speaker 6: You tell me, Roe. Give it to me straight. It's absurd.
- 23:18Speaker 5: I mean, these are the same people who were at
- 23:20Speaker 5: one point criticizing Democrats for going on Joe Rogan. I mean,
- 23:24Speaker 5: remember when Bernie went on Joe Rogan, the same people
- 23:27Speaker 5: who said, oh, you can't go on Joe Rogan. These
- 23:29Speaker 5: are the same folks who criticized me when I went
- 23:32Speaker 5: on Ben Shapiro. Should I not go on Ben Shapiro's
- 23:35Speaker 5: podcast because I disagree with him? We had an oral
- 23:38Speaker 5: argument on the minimum wage. Just because someone is engaging
- 23:43Speaker 5: with Hassan Paikar who has strong viewpoints on these issues,
- 23:48Speaker 5: doesn't mean that you're endorsing every single one of Hasan
- 23:51Speaker 5: Piker's positions. And if you're going to argue that we
- 23:55Speaker 5: should exclude left-wing commentators and Frankly, some of these people
- 24:02Speaker 5: were arguing that we should be canceling and excluding right-wing commentators.
- 24:06Speaker 5: You're left with a party that is basically a status
- 24:09Speaker 5: quo party.
- 24:10Speaker 6: That's why we lost two elections.
- 24:13Speaker 1: By the way, I love how he's sitting there. He's like, oh,
- 24:16Speaker 1: it's no different than me going on Ben Shapiro's show.
- 24:19Speaker 1: Ben Shapiro is not a radical in the way that
- 24:22Speaker 1: you would have to defend Hassan Piker. And yet to
- 24:25Speaker 1: compare that you're going, oh, I just take a risk
- 24:27Speaker 1: on these guys because, you know, I'm not going to
- 24:29Speaker 1: agree with everything they say. Look at what you're endorsing.
- 24:32Speaker 1: It is radical, extreme and crazy.
- 24:35Speaker 2: Well, and look, Ro Khanna was someone who got elected
- 24:38Speaker 2: to Congress from Silicon Valley. He was someone who got
- 24:41Speaker 2: elected with the support of the tech bros and his
- 24:44Speaker 2: initial brand. was kind of a moderate, common-sense Democrat. And
- 24:48Speaker 2: then he looked around the Democrat Party and said, wait
- 24:50Speaker 2: a second, nobody wants moderate, common-sense Democrats. And so he's
- 24:53Speaker 2: decided to go hard, hard left. As the beginning of
- 24:57Speaker 2: that interview showed, he went up to Maine and embraced
- 25:00Speaker 2: Graham Plattner and said, hey, this is great. You know,
- 25:02Speaker 2: a Nazi communist, my kind of guy. And so, you know,
- 25:06Speaker 2: you listen to what Kana said there. He said, well,
- 25:09Speaker 2: just because they're engaging, that was the verb he used,
- 25:12Speaker 2: engaging with Hassan Piker. Let's be clear, Hassan, Al-Said is
- 25:17Speaker 2: not engaging with Hassan Piker. He's not saying, you know, Hassan,
- 25:20Speaker 2: I actually think you're wrong when you say America deserved 9-11.
- 25:23Speaker 2: I don't think we deserve to be attacked by Islamist
- 25:27Speaker 2: terrorists who murdered nearly 3,000 people. They're not engaging. They're embracing.
- 25:31Speaker 2: They're celebrating. They're adopting. It is who they are. And
- 25:34Speaker 2: I will say, you know, there's the old line that
- 25:38Speaker 2: hypocrisy is the tribute that vice pays to virtue. Ro
- 25:42Speaker 2: Khanna is rich as hell. And the latest news story
- 25:47Speaker 2: said he traded $ 165 million in trades. He made over
- 25:54Speaker 2: 5,000 trades last year. I don't think members of Congress
- 25:58Speaker 2: should be buying and selling stock and getting rich. And
- 26:02Speaker 2: this is a great example of the hypocrisy, which is
- 26:04Speaker 2: that they embrace Marxism while living as complete and utter hypocrites.
- 26:10Speaker 1: As always, thank you for listening to Verdict with Senator
- 26:13Speaker 1: Ted Cruz. Ben Ferguson with you. Don't forget to download
- 26:16Speaker 1: my podcast and you can listen to my podcast every
- 26:18Speaker 1: other day you're not listening to Verdict or each day
- 26:20Speaker 1: when you listen to Verdict afterwards. I'd love to have
- 26:22Speaker 1: you as a listener to, again, the Ben Ferguson podcast.
- 26:25Speaker 1: And we will see you back here on Monday morning.
