- 0:05Drama, Darling Drama, Darling Drama, Darling. Oh well there, hello
- 0:21there, hello, hello everybody, and happy Tuesday. Emily and I are
- 0:26here. If you are joining us right now in the YouTube live stream,
- 0:31you will notice that we are donned in some buying Beverly Hills apparel. Some
- 0:38are is real merch, some might be knockoffs. You be the judge,
- 0:46Thank you, thank you. Amy's had a fake? No, how dare
- 0:51you? How? Okay, let's walk through this, okay. One one
- 0:57day years ago, I was ranting and raving on serious XM Radio. Andy
- 1:03Reality checked Amy's virgin and I was like, oh gosh, I really need
- 1:11to get my hands on that agency hat because I was taking notice that in
- 1:15every scene, and this was years ago, that that Mauricio would always be
- 1:19wearing an agency hat. And then, you know, I just I needed
- 1:22to have it, and so I didn't know how to get one. One
- 1:25of the listeners sent me one. That's great, Now I want one.
- 1:30I know, we got to get our hands on some more. I feel
- 1:33like I would imagine that we can probably buy them. At this point,
- 1:38I think I know where we could get them, and that's at see And
- 1:46then Amy texted me five minutes before and the show and is like, let's
- 1:49stress as realtors, and I was like, yes, please, Yeah,
- 1:52we're both wearing blazers. I actually thought you were probably already dressed as a
- 1:57realtor. You know, I just had a feeling that you might have already
- 2:00been. So I don't know what current current realtor is so cool, Like
- 2:07I don't. Yeah, you know when I said that, I knew you'd
- 2:09know what I meant that it'd be like a blazer, which is exactly what
- 2:14you're wearing now. Emily is wearing a BZP hat, so she did not
- 2:23get it from there. From the area at the agency where they're doing this
- 2:27is unofficial. I'm going to just put it out there. Yeah, but
- 2:30listen, I'm sure they appreciate that. Nonetheless, they might want to,
- 2:35in fact use your branding because it's so great. Well, it seems like
- 2:39they have a lot of time around the office to write on post it notes
- 2:43and tape it to things, so I encourage them to try this. I
- 2:46love the hazing. Yeah, so you are. BZP is a like a
- 2:53group of two with one intern. They would have made us think if Ben
- 2:57hadn't have pointed that out. We would have thought it was three because I
- 3:00thought it was three people, but apparently it's two with one intern. Yeah,
- 3:02yeah, that's I'm also confused. And any realtors in the among the
- 3:09darlings, like the whole concept of everybody being so competitive but also still working
- 3:15within earshot in an open space is so confusing to me, right, right,
- 3:22and also under the same umbrella. So right, it is interesting and
- 3:27and and everyone has a team or a group. I mean, Emily,
- 3:30do you have a team or a group that I don't know about here on
- 3:34Drama Darlings? What is your Yeah? What is Angela? Angela and I
- 3:38have a team damn for the A and E's And then I often partner with
- 3:43Deanna. Oh god, it's sick too. Yeah, it's already too many.
- 3:46And then I mean, I guess you know, the drama darling original
- 3:52uh would be you and I, and then then there's also you and me
- 3:57and Deanna. But there's also me and you and d oh my god,
- 4:01we have so many groups and we're all so competitive with each other, right,
- 4:05I've unfollowed Jamie. Of course, she's going to be very offended because
- 4:11you know, I mean, she takes social media very seriously, so needless
- 4:17to say, you guys, thank you so much for joining. I see
- 4:20some people over here on the live stream excited to see you, and we
- 4:28do have buying Beverly Hill's recap for you. Today. We are going to
- 4:31be covering the first three episodes because there are they dropped what ten twelve?
- 4:38How many? Yeah? Ten? Okay, so they're all out, I
- 4:42think, unless I think that's it right, ten episodes, yeah, I
- 4:46you know, and we I thought they'd be coming out weekly, and I'm
- 4:50a little annoyed that. You know, it's very Netflix. You know,
- 4:54they just they know what everybody wants. They want people want to binge,
- 4:59and that's what they do. They just throw it all out there. But
- 5:01they've been trying to find weekly programming that people will not cancel their subscription when
- 5:09they're done. And I'm like, we are trained to watch this show weekly.
- 5:13Just give it to us weekly. Yeah yeah, well, like like
- 5:18Bakeoff is weekly? Like I don't know, I now, so they would
- 5:23tune in for Emily's rundown of What's weekly? Hey, everybody, it's Emily
- 5:30weekly and can't see your TV Guide subscription? Jeers to Netflix for releasing cheers
- 5:42all at once, and it cheers to Netflix for weekly releasing. Bakeoff,
- 5:49and that's all the shows that release weekly. Good good, good job,
- 5:53good job, Emily. So we'll be doing the first three episodes and we're
- 5:57gonna save some for next week. You know, we'll do some next week.
- 6:00So yeah, we'll maybe do three, three and three. I mean,
- 6:03I do love this show, so I'm I am going to just burn
- 6:09through it. It's so good, like, yeah, it really is great.
- 6:14I love I love Kyle's and Moe's daughters so much. I know,
- 6:18and Sarah I count her as one of the girls, right, but I
- 6:23mean she has a different dad, so I don't want to disrespect him,
- 6:25right, right, right, but also their daughter, I mean that is
- 6:28the yeah, yeah right, I don't know, you know, like,
- 6:30yes, I know what you're saying. You're trying to make sure not to
- 6:33disrespect her father, right and just be like, oh, it's Moe's kid,
- 6:38you know, that's it, right, there's no other that's very respectful.
- 6:42And Fari's dad's a darling. I don't want to know he is.
- 6:45He's in the chat right now. Well, before we get into that,
- 6:53we have some and on that note, What a crossover piece of news.
- 7:00So Our Automatics bought a one point two million dollar house in the Hollywood at
- 7:05Alls and guess who sold it? Tour Ben Ben Ben Bailek. Yeah,
- 7:12oh I thought we were going to get to guess Oh sorry, guess who
- 7:18Ben Bitlick. You're dropping, You're dropping answers faster than Netflix is putting on
- 7:24episodes. Look at yes, this is me. This is me and my
- 7:27realtor Era. You know, don't don't dead, don't step to the red
- 7:32blazered fireball, the agency, the agency's newest realtor. I mean truly,
- 7:42I could be look, I do impressions. So I think I've found my
- 7:46new calling. Move over, Zack. I'm like, oh my gosh,
- 7:50yeah that the loose anyway, go ahead, right sorry? Okay, So
- 7:57our Automatics bought a new house. Can gratulations to Ben for this, and
- 8:03my gosh, it's uh it's quite the uh Hollywood Hills. Imagine this is
- 8:11I don't know if you saw pictures of it, but it is quite the
- 8:16mid Okay, so it's basically an views of the Hollywood Sign and beyond this
- 8:22mid century modern Yeah. Yeah, uh has just undergone a complete renovation.
- 8:28The main level is open with the living room and dedicated dining era area seamlessly
- 8:35connecting to a kitchen with stainless appliances and brass finishes. The second level is
- 8:41dedicated to a generously sized primary suite. Well you get the idea. Blah
- 8:48blah blah blah. It's gorgeous California. Oh, it is gorgeous California.
- 8:52It's like Villa Blanca wearing sunglasses. So I kind of like a sporty Villa
- 8:58Blanca. It can be located to Mulholland, Runyon Canyon, the Hollywood Bowl,
- 9:05the studios. I mean, it's right in the heart. So remember
- 9:09how Ariana's like. I mean, you guys are not like making millions of
- 9:11dollars Like, you guys are crazy. Uh, you've been checked. You
- 9:16have been checked, and you just straight out probably just bought this you know,
- 9:22cash offer, you know only well, I mean thirty days close,
- 9:28yeah, boom, locked it in. I'm a little worried about pending lawsuits,
- 9:33but you know, like like I don't know if this is the time
- 9:39that you want to be flashing your asses, your assets. Yeah, well,
- 9:43listen, she's got a move, you know what I mean. Yeah,
- 9:48yeah, I know there's also rental opportunities. So I guess like,
- 9:52in some ways I get it. In some ways I don't. But I
- 9:56guess, like with this pending lawsuit with Rach, I'm kind of like it
- 10:01is a little scary. I agree. However, one point two million is
- 10:07is that the I thought it was one point six? Okay, so one
- 10:11point six. You know, it's not that high of a price, Like
- 10:16if it was two or over, I'd be like, that's crazy. But
- 10:18I mean you're talking like the window between an eight hundred thousand dollars house and
- 10:24a one point six million dollar it's not that big. So I mean it's
- 10:28actually been a beast price for where she is and the resale value and everything.
- 10:33So you know her house right now with Tom that was over a million
- 10:37dollars and cently this is in the hills, which you'd think would be That's
- 10:41what I was confused by the price I thought it was. I mean,
- 10:45it's still it sounds crazy when you're not in LA but to me, I
- 10:48thought like I would think that was like a three million dollar house. I
- 10:52agree, and it is. I mean it's completely redone so it does.
- 10:56Maybe she got it at auction. I don't know. Oh yeah, there
- 11:01you go. But I think we would know that though you think they who
- 11:05would say yeah. I feel like, yeah, we would know. Well,
- 11:09I'm happy for Ariana. It is that typical like Hollywood box you know,
- 11:16it's the style I don't like. I am not a fan of that
- 11:18at all. And you're with you, Oh, well, we're going to
- 11:22have a field day because that's all they show for the most part on these
- 11:26shows. And like when we've talked about, you know, selling Sunset and
- 11:31obviously million dollar listing. Million dollar listing has so much more variety in LA
- 11:37which is nice, but like, these Hollywood houses are just for shit.
- 11:41I'm just not a fan. There's no warmth there, just anyway. We'll
- 11:46get into that. But yeah, we'll get into it. So that's the
- 11:50news on that. So congratulations to Ariana and her new home. And I
- 11:54guess we'll find out what they're going to do with their house that they co
- 11:58own together and see if she allowed Tom to buy her out, because that
- 12:05was not spoken to. Oh you know what I was gonna say. I
- 12:07wonder if this storyline will be on the next season of Buying Beverly Hills.
- 12:13I mean, I can't imagine it wouldn't be because they could be shooting right
- 12:16now. Yeah, yeah, yeah, good idea. So yeah, okay,
- 12:22thank you BZP and all their news. I am seeing all over the
- 12:26internet in certain places that Eileen Davidson is reportedly and talks to rejoin Beverly Hills.
- 12:35Oh wow, yeah, I have not seen that really, so yeah,
- 12:41I don't know. And people are like, oh, we are so
- 12:43ready, and I'm like, are we Like, is that really the shakeup
- 12:46that you're looking for? I mean, Eileen's great a stand up gal,
- 12:52but not the shakeup or you know, I don't think it's going to be
- 12:56the thing that's going to resuscitate or cause any commotion in the world. I've
- 13:01been seeing Rina's coming back. Oh god no. She just sat on a
- 13:05TV show the other day when she was asked, would you ever go back,
- 13:09and she'said, no, never. That's a negotiation, baby, that's
- 13:13her saying, raise the price. Yeah, you're right, she would come
- 13:18back for the right amount of money. Okay. Also in the news because
- 13:22now we're watching Buying Beverly Hills. It's everywhere and comments by Bravo picked up
- 13:31this story of Morgan posting something and she's in a cowboy hat or shall I
- 13:37say cowgirl hat? Let's not be a misogynist, and Kyle commented, save
- 13:43a horse ride a cowgirl? You saw that? Nuts about well what do
- 13:50you expect? I like how we're all like, I'm just so done with
- 13:56it, Like I don't even care anymore. It's like analyzing a comment for
- 14:01forty eight hours straight. We're like, oh my god, I know,
- 14:05I know, yeah, we can't let it go. But that is you
- 14:09know, I'm sure it's an inside joke. I'm sure it's something funny they've
- 14:13talked about, but it reads because they are fucking yeah. It reads that
- 14:18like we're doing it, guys, we are doing it, and here's the
- 14:22proof. Yeah, the proof is in the uh the hat. Yeah.
- 14:30Okay. In other Beverly Hills news, you know, Emily alerted me to
- 14:33this live instagram that happened the other day, which I scrolled right on by.
- 14:39I didn't turn the volume. I wasn't like volume up because I didn't
- 14:41feel like volume up was needed. But it was Sutton and it was Kathy
- 14:46Hilton and they were out and Emily why don't you take the lead on the
- 14:50story. Well, I also watched it first without volume, and I thought
- 14:56that the gentleman that comes in at the end I thought was brit love interest.
- 15:01That the British guy with the with the nice car that they sit in
- 15:05the car. Yeah, yeah, it's not important. You just kind of
- 15:07have a vague idea of what he looks like. And then I saw like
- 15:13Queen's a Bravo or somebody was like Sutton's new boy Kathy introduces because I guess
- 15:16she's a gatekeeper now for relationships, because it felt very similar to like,
- 15:20not that we hadn't seen Morgan before, but like when Kyle and Morgan showed
- 15:24up, it felt very official on Kathy's Instagram. And so it turns out
- 15:30this is Sutton's boyfriend, and I was shocked because he looks kind of like
- 15:39Craig. To me, it looks like Craig or a young Andy Cohen.
- 15:46It just doesn't. It's weird. It's weird. It it has just a
- 15:52slight whiff of grifter. But the thing is, like, I also feel
- 15:56like Sutton just she in her heart likes to be ancient, like she she's
- 16:03not young at heart. If you will an old soul, because if it
- 16:10was like Erica, I wouldn't think anything of it. I would be like,
- 16:14yeah, I go, you know, but this Sutton's not looking to
- 16:18keep up with a puppy, you know what I mean? So I just
- 16:23think, God, you'll give her a run for her money, literally and
- 16:27figuratively. Yeah, when he steals all of it, I joke allegedly,
- 16:34No, you know, he might be along for the ride, and and
- 16:38and who knows. We just we worry about our wealthy women and people taking
- 16:42advantage of them. It's a tales oldest time we've seen it. Probably Netflix
- 16:48just dropped a whole other series just now as we were speaking about it,
- 16:52talking advantage Sutton, Sutton's Bye Sutton sentence buying not selling. Yes, so
- 17:04that's interesting. She has a boyfriend, Kyle. Was on this show called
- 17:11We Are Family on Fox and it's also it also aired on Hulu. I
- 17:18just happened to scroll past and it was like her and I believe Sophia singing
- 17:22a duet a stage like in America's Got Talent type of situation, and people
- 17:30in the audience were like going wild. It was interesting. I was like,
- 17:34who knew that this even existed. So they're singing that song that goes,
- 17:40I love you like I love somebody or something like that, you know
- 17:44what I mean. Okay, I don't even know this show, let alone
- 17:49the song. So that's out there. They just pop up in the most
- 17:53random places, you know. They just get these gigs. Yeah, yeah,
- 17:59get it, guys, get it. Am I missing any other news?
- 18:03Oh? Probably there's It feels like so much has happened in the last
- 18:07couple of days and I can't keep up. I okay, I'm just kind
- 18:15of scrolling through what I've got here. I I think I've covered it.
- 18:22I mean, that's fine for now. We got to get into buying Beverly
- 18:25Hills. But I I want to say, I want to ask you about
- 18:30the Baltimore Bridge. About that bridge Baltimore, if you know anybody, like,
- 18:34yeah, I knew everybody on it. I knew everyone on it.
- 18:37Now, well, they called me day so they were able to clear the
- 18:42roads. So like there were eight people though that yeah did fall And I
- 18:48haven't read further. And I was just like, I mean, obviously you're
- 18:52familiar with that bridge. Have you been over? Oh? Yeah, that's
- 18:56freaking crazy. That like I mean it's a very it's a it's a it's
- 19:00like a very popular. It's like the Beltway. Yeah, yeah, it's
- 19:04like very travel I think thirty they said thirty five thousand people or cars a
- 19:10day or something crazy. I actually I don't remember they said cars or people,
- 19:15Like are they talking carpool? Oh, they would probably say cars,
- 19:18not people. Anyway, I was very happy to know it wasn't the infrastructure
- 19:22and that it was a rogue cargo ship that lost power and then they signaled
- 19:29may day and then that because I was like, here we go, our
- 19:32bridges are falling apart. But no, it wasn't that. It was like
- 19:34it crashed into it because of the electrical failure on the boat. Oh okay,
- 19:41oh my god. I wonder if it's one of those newer boats like
- 19:47that fricking remember the below deck Mediterranean when Captain Sandy had that vessel that was
- 19:53all new electrically and it was always messing up. Yes, I mean maybe
- 20:03I feel like things are getting from you very quickly these days. So I
- 20:07don't know, like all this stuff with Boeing and everything, not that this
- 20:10is they don't make boats, but I'm just saying, like Yeah, there's
- 20:14a real you know that. Get what's the bottom line? Yeah, but
- 20:18I have no idea what the deal is with that boat. Well, thank
- 20:22you for speaking to that, Emily. Mm hmm. Glad you're safe now,
- 20:30I'm glad you're safe. I'm glad I'm safe. Glad you're safe,
- 20:33and we're all safe. Okay, good, And I'm going to turn into
- 20:37watch w j Z. I'll have it on all day just see what's going
- 20:41on. Okay, Yeah, you're not going to go to work, marilynd
- 20:47Emily. I'm working tonight, so you're work. I can't eat, I
- 20:52ain't sleeping to day. I'm gonna watch it all day and then I go
- 20:57in at five. Okay. And then so are you gonna be drinking like
- 21:00red Bulls or how are you gonna stay awake at night for your shock coke?
- 21:03I drink die coke Mountain dew and yeah, there's like and right now
- 21:10just say to all the listeners, cans of mountain dew are twenty percent off
- 21:15at ACNE in food lawne So for Easter, oh for Easter, right,
- 21:22get all your kids bunch of mountain dew. You know that it's really bad
- 21:26for you. Like Mountain Dew is really bad. My doctor says. My
- 21:30doctor says, everything moderation. So that's what I do, everything moderation.
- 21:37I'm just glad people are safe. I think I need to just do an
- 21:47entire episode talking about more Emily because I can never get enough. Well,

- 24:47guess what. It's the first ingredient scientifically proven to reduce the build up of
- 24:51these what they call senescent cells. Now hear me, I'm this This is
- 24:56kind of hilarious. They say these notorious zombie cells are what contribute to skin

- 26:17but I because I'm staring at the notes. So yeah, fill me in
- 26:21on comments as we get them. Well, there are a lot of people
- 26:25talking about how twenty twenty had a documentary about mountain dew and how it was
- 26:30horrifying. Yeah, it's you can take the paint off a car. Brett
- 26:34used to drink mountain dew when I first met him, like crazy, oh
- 26:40ye yeah. Then he had a panic attack, went to the hospital and
- 26:42then he cut out. He cut out Mountain dew is there like your heart
- 26:48has been racing, yeah, for ten years straight. When I met him,
- 26:52I'm like, you drink that. I don't even know how we're together,
- 26:56to be quite honest with you, but whatever, there was a lot
- 27:00going against us. So we didn't meet in a pod. It wasn't Love
- 27:07Is Black but right, No, you fell in love in a hopeless place
- 27:10we did called the comedy scene. Well that is true. Why is this
- 27:17show so good? Emily? It's so good? I know, and I
- 27:22don't typically like the real estate show genre, but they are doing. I
- 27:26mean, it's thought that I dislike it, right that I don't necessarily tune
- 27:32in unless it's a marathon. And someday when i'm I want something on and
- 27:37I'll watch it, I will take this. So I will take a real
- 27:40estate reality genre over others, like over a Devil Wears Prada on Bravo whenever
- 27:47they I would. You know, there's things that I don't like on Bravo.
- 27:52I like Devilwears product I just hate when I tune in and it's movies
- 27:56and I'm like, why, I know, do like give us a show?
- 28:02You know? Yeah, I believe I've pitched my little ass off for
- 28:06programming, and they're just like, we don't do that. We don't do
- 28:10that. We don't do morning programming, we don't do weekend pro. You
- 28:14know. It's like, well change it, you fools, because people want
- 28:18more programming whatever. Okay, anyway, that's my little rant. But I
- 28:25have watched Selling Sunset. I have watched million dollar listing. This blow selling
- 28:30Sunset out of the water because it's actually kind of real, you know,
- 28:34yeah, and uh, and I am very turned off by a lot of
- 28:40it. I'm not gonna lie. So there's a feeling about like the I
- 28:44know, I've used that word vapid, but there is a feeling about real
- 28:45estate and the vapidness of being in Hollywood and just being in these gross multi
- 28:52million dollar homes with these like weird people coming in with money that who knows
- 28:56where it came from and where it's going. I feel kind of dirty at
- 29:02times. But when it's repackaged with a family business, it's a whole different
- 29:10vibe. And then when you see the different groups within, you see the
- 29:15growth of this incredible I mean, look at the agency, you really get
- 29:18a vibe and you understand how they have been killing it for so long,
- 29:25and they're like the fastest growing agency in the country. So that to me,
- 29:30I really did a bit of a one eighty on my feelings about Mauricio
- 29:36leaving Hilton and Highland. So oh yeah, Russ says, well, these
- 29:42people are actually realtors. Yeah, that's a great point, Russ. You
- 29:49know, so that is I mean, million dollar listing. They are actual
- 29:53realtors too. But I was comparing it to selling Sunset. How much better
- 29:56it was because yeah, obviously they're real and we're seeing the competition, we're
- 30:02seeing how how things go. I'm worried it being a family business. I'm
- 30:07worried about them being on this reality show and it burning to the ground because
- 30:12of these interpersonal relationships and family and and things, you know, bubbling up.
- 30:18But what what are your I mean, Well, I mean it's such
- 30:22unique family and that these gals, the girls, all grew up on reality
- 30:27television. This is not Mauricio's first Sometimes I will say it feels like his
- 30:33I was going to say, rodeo, but I'm not doing it all back
- 30:37waiting for you to say Okay. Sometimes it feels like even on Beverly Hills
- 30:44this season, like do you know how this works? Right? You?
- 30:48But he still seems a little uncomfortable or a little like cautious of the camera,
- 30:55and we can feel it, but at the same time, like it's
- 31:00he's you know, everybody's experienced in this vibe, in this space. What
- 31:04I wasn't expecting was the tangible stress of the real estate market right now.
- 31:11And not that I don't think that Mauricio and Kyle should stay together. I
- 31:18don't think that, but I do have a little bit of a better understanding
- 31:22of where Mauricio was coming from. And Kyle was talking about his stress level
- 31:29this year. Yes, absolutely, yes, So not only does he have
- 31:33the pressure of the market, he's probably very relieved to have these cameras here,
- 31:37but there's all added pressure with that too. Yeah. And then the
- 31:41marriage taking a turn. Yeah, a lot is happening on the show.
- 31:45And to see that they were probably filming simultaneously while she's doing Beverly Hills and
- 31:53he's doing buying Beverly Hills. So to open on something so personal at the
- 32:06very beginning to launch a real estate show was certainly on the nose for the
- 32:12selling sunset type of vibe where you're getting that drama, but the rest was
- 32:16very million dollar listing because they've always focused on actually just selling houses and showing
- 32:22property. But they obviously got to that. But to see you know,
- 32:29Mauricio, Alexia, Sofia and Farah and Moe being like your mother and I
- 32:35had amazing twenty six years with your mom. You know, I wanted to
- 32:37do everything to save it, but your mom said she needs space. I
- 32:39don't know, and so she said, you know, go out there and
- 32:44date. And so we're separated and maybe I'll go to Aspen and it's like,
- 32:49what, yes, see that and then they're crying and to line god,
- 32:54Portia didn't have to sit through that one agree totally agreat and and I
- 33:00that's where we see each other on that and I still feel like the same
- 33:04as you, like, I feel like ports shouldn't have been part of that
- 33:07Beverly Hills scene. But yeah, so they start like that and then it's
- 33:12like six months earlier and then boom, we go back to Okay, Sophia's
- 33:15starting in real estate now, and uh now we're getting the tours of the
- 33:19houses and we meet all the groups within the agency. So this whole structure,
- 33:27it's produced incredibly well, yeah, and I did like learning about the
- 33:32different groups. I thought it was so interesting the VZP group, how they're
- 33:37so young and they just started this within that agency. It's it's an interesting
- 33:44take. I kind of liked how they uh was his name John, Yeah,
- 33:50yes, okay, yeah, I he was irritating. Yeah it's Joey,
- 33:55Joey, Joey. He's the one who thank you. I got to
- 33:58pull up my cast list. Joey, Yeah, thank you. He dated
- 34:04Alexia and I didn't. I didn't know that because I didn't watch the first
- 34:07season, so I'm gonna have to go back. But to see how young
- 34:12they I mean, like they went to high school together, so they're like
- 34:15twenty seven years old and he's already heading up his own group. These are
- 34:20hustlers, you know, these are people that are really like making it happen.
- 34:23And I did like his mission statement, which is like, the the
- 34:30scope of realtors is like an antiquated, you know, very dinosaur vibe,
- 34:39and he wants to be like the cool group. And I think that's great.
- 34:44I mean, I think I love it. Yeah, I mean they're
- 34:46also doing a good job of framing him kind of as like a young Mauricio,
- 34:52and so I'm just waiting for him to leave, but he seems you
- 35:00think. I mean, like, I thank you Kathleen for saying she loves
- 35:01the Blazers, the blaze I The vibe I get from him is, you
- 35:09know, it's I haven't figured it out yet. You know, I'm not
- 35:15one hundred percent in and I'm not one hundred percent out. Like I respect
- 35:17what he's doing, but I did not like the way that he treated Alexia
- 35:22at obviously when they're talking about this listing that they're going to be sharing the
- 35:28Rustic Valley Ranch listing. Yeah, they have a real David and Maddie.
- 35:35Well they won't they all the young kids know I'm speaking about moonlighting Everyone's day.
- 35:39Great. Thank you. That competitive flirting that I'm like, I don't
- 35:45know where this is going, but it's going to keep going. I get
- 35:49that vibe, okay. And I also feel like he's taking advantage of her
- 35:57in a way and she's no. Whyse up to this pretty soon? I
- 36:01felt that she's very naive still watching it, and it made me nervous.
- 36:07But I love that she, like you said, she's going to be tapped
- 36:13into what's up very quickly, and she's growing and she's changing and she's Ben
- 36:20said, you know, Ben made the comment about nepotism, and I'm so
- 36:24tired of this nepo baby argument because it's like it's give and take. Yeah,
- 36:31there's some benefits, but there's a lot more. There's almost equal drawbacks
- 36:36in terms of like the expectations and everything. And in Alexi's case, it's
- 36:42more about like it's like she's kind of naive because she thinks everybody around her
- 36:51is there to be her friend and kind of help her because that's everybody's paling
- 36:55around with her dad. And she's going to learn. She's going to still
- 36:59learn the lessons we've learned, it's just going to learn the differently differently.
- 37:02And sometimes nepo kids are under more pressure because they have to prove themselves more
- 37:10than the regular person so that they deserve to be there without having given that
- 37:15opportunity. And look, it's impossible too, because a lot of nepo babies
- 37:21don't they don't need themselves, and then they're out like and that's certainly like,
- 37:25look when you look at Hollywood kids and they get these positions and it
- 37:32could have been anybody and they're not exceptional, but they just get the job.
- 37:37It's like, well, you could be anybody. You know, you're
- 37:38really not doing it, but you got it because you're you know, Russell
- 37:44Crowe's son, allegedly, we're not. He's very qualified, he's great,
- 37:50but also they get these opportunities and they blow them and they never can stay
- 37:53because they don't have any talent. Alexia is amazing and the thing about the
- 37:59brochures that bothered me was that was total bullshit, you know. And then
- 38:04he's got this misogynistic side to him, which is like, yeah, you're
- 38:07great at events. It's like, look, bitch, I actually know more
- 38:13about this business than you do, and you need to treat me with respect.
- 38:15So I did not like his vibe with her. I loved how Sophia
- 38:22was like why why are you fucking liar? Yeah, your mom? I
- 38:28mean she came in swinging, but was like the most low energy swinging,
- 38:32but everything hit everything. I was so confused as to why they kept setting
- 38:39Sophia up as to whow she's terrifying. She's so scary. I'm like,
- 38:44this girl's crying about having anxiety. I don't know what. Everyone's so terrified
- 38:50about I think she just carries herself as though she has it all figured out,
- 38:54and we know that she doesn't. But that's I think that that intimidating,
- 39:00I guess, but I would think her family would be onto it and
- 39:04they're like, oh shit, I mean I need to see more of what
- 39:08they're talking about, because that part did help seeing her call out Joey very
- 39:15quickly and I loved it. Yeah, and to see how he reacted,
- 39:20like he's that person that's gonna like smile and say all the right things and
- 39:22make a go away and that's and you know a lot of realtors are like
- 39:25that, and they're just they're good salesmen and they can be that way.
- 39:32So uh now, oh, you know what I thought was funny is at
- 39:37the beginning, we kind of got a lot of quick cuts to the meetings
- 39:43with these groups, like they're all off into their own little groups, and
- 39:46it just it wasn't the flex that they thought it was going to be when
- 39:50we see them giving pep talks to their group, because it was just like
- 39:53the most generic statements you could possibly make. It's like, do you guys
- 39:58want to be a part of this group? You got to show up.
- 40:00You gonna show up if you want to. You know, if you want
- 40:04to make appointments, you gotta make the phone calls to make the appointments in
- 40:07order to show up. If you know, the more you sell, the
- 40:13more money you will make. If you were taking notes, if you open
- 40:22a door, close it behind you, simple stuff, guys, But you
- 40:28gotta clock in. It's like, this is just a bunch of bullshit.
- 40:31But I did like that. Uh So Kyle and Mauricio at home in that
- 40:38love being moment when they're in bed, when she's taking off her makeup kind
- 40:43of and like she's, Okay, I'll do your show. You've done my
- 40:45show for so long, so I guess I'll do your show. It just
- 40:49very much seemed like that. And he's like, I'm stressed out. You
- 40:51know, I had a breakdown, you know, I just like I don't
- 40:53know, you know, get all these like eight hundred agencies opening up,
- 40:55and like oh, and she's like, I'm did he say love being or
- 41:07did he just say he did? Why are you so you're so mean?
- 41:10I was like, oh, could be either. Oh wow, I mean
- 41:15only because but it's also like there's ten camera guys in there, like I
- 41:21got I get why she wasn't like, let's rodeo, you know what I
- 41:24mean, Like, yeah, they've been there before. They're they're not the
- 41:29Gorgas on camera. They're not going to be like let's pretend we can't keep
- 41:32our hands off each other. Like I was glad, She's like, I'm
- 41:37gonna read this book and just like watch already, Okay, I'll go open
- 41:44up another agency in the bathroom. I'll be like, Kyle, I just
- 41:46opened up a bathroom agency. River is gonna start working at that one.
- 41:54All the dogs are interning now when they went was that the same day or
- 42:01is that later when they when Kyle goes to the house and she's like the
- 42:07size of a door knob on that door, Oh my god. That was
- 42:09so funny, reminding me of one of those experiences you go to in La
- 42:13where like everything's large, like an Alice in Wonderland experience. I mean,
- 42:16she was so tiny hanging on that door was the funniest thing. All those
- 42:22houses make me so nervous. I hate them so much. They all because
- 42:25I'm just like, I mean, maybe you just have so much, so
- 42:30much money you don't care. But at any point, like they're totally new
- 42:32concepts of homes built on toothpicks and on a hillside. It's like, not
- 42:42only do people coming in to work on your home never seen these problems before
- 42:45because they've never seen a staircase of marble suspended in mid air like like million
- 42:52dollars. Yeah. They also don't know when there's a problem with it to
- 42:58identify it to fix it. And one earthquake, yeah, it's like I
- 43:01don't I hate it just gets so nervous and then I think I don't want
- 43:06to live downhill from that. Oh that's the thing. Like the people that
- 43:09are downhill from that have probably lived there for thirty years in their normal stable
- 43:15home and then this floating staircase comes just collides on them. It's too much
- 43:21science and physics involved for this house too. I just it's too like living
- 43:25at the Franklin Institute, Like there's too much science. Yeah, Mauricios,
- 43:30Like this floating staircase is one million dollars, and when there's an earthquake,
- 43:35it turns into a regular staircase automatically, So that's what's cool about it.
- 43:39And anyway, so we call it convertible staircase, yes, yeah, can
- 43:51we talk about But the Rustic Valley ranch listing was amazing. That was gorgeous.
- 43:57I am Martin with you. That was gorgeous California. I mean,
- 44:00but twenty eight million dollars, three hundred and sixty acres and you acquire the
- 44:06olive oil and you get this log cabin and I was so here for this.
- 44:13I loved it. I loved it. I did too, and I
- 44:15thought like I did have the thought of I guess the owner doesn't want to
- 44:19sell it as such, but I did think like, couldn't you split the
- 44:22property, like there's so much and could not split it into development? I'm
- 44:28saying I split it into two farms with me, Yeah, optunities because it's
- 44:34not like the house. The house is really cool, but I mean when
- 44:38we saw inside, I was like, okay, I'm not looking for you
- 44:42know, all glass and all that. I'm just it's small and it feels
- 44:46like what it should use a refresh for a farm. Yeah, and it
- 44:51would be a for twenty eight million dollars. I was just like, this
- 44:54is clearly not about the house. It's not about so it's not about the
- 44:58house. It's about the farm. It's about the Overcados. I also love
- 45:06the Portuguese bend road one that was the only I'm sure you love that one.
- 45:09To the midcentry ranch with five acres walnut floors, European inspired by Nikonos,
- 45:15with the vineyard and had Greek feel love that place? Tell me we
- 45:21love it? I would. I was like, that's fourteen million, Like
- 45:23that seems like it should be one hundred million, like it couldn't believe that
- 45:28property exists within like La County. It was only fourteen million because it was
- 45:36the amount of land. Oh, where was that place? Was that the
- 45:38one between Santa Barbara and La Or was that? I thought that the farm,
- 45:45the big the twenty eight million was the one out And then this has
- 45:49the view of the you could see Redondo Beach. Oh, I think it's
- 45:52still La County. Yeah, you're right, you're right, Okay, I
- 45:55love that. I thought that was fantastic and uh oh, and then I
- 46:04did really find one of the most compelling and fascinating points of the real estate
- 46:10angle of all this and it being so real is Paul Nassif's property. That
- 46:15what they chose to do an auction because the market is so crazy and this
- 46:20is like you know, the interest rates are high, nothing is moving,
- 46:22and so you feel the stress because everybody knew that it was probably it was
- 46:28twenty twenty what was last year, maybe early, I mean, but really
- 46:31but at that point twenty twenty two, end of yeah, interest rates were
- 46:36only going up as far as anybody knew, so like people were having to
- 46:40make it up on their house sale because you know they yeah, but that
- 46:45was great to do the auction, to create some sort of urgency to really
- 46:50push it. And doctor Nassif was like, uh, yeah, I need
- 46:54the money and I want it liquidated like immediately. So I had some question.
- 47:00It's a follow up that one, I mean, you know, you
- 47:04know, and Botched is still going you never know how many. Yes,
- 47:08they just launched. They just launched. They just premiered another new season.
- 47:14That's such a successful show. They've been on for so long. He's obviously
- 47:16a plastic surgeon. He makes tons of money. We just don't We don't
- 47:19know how many properties he has. We don't know. We just know he
- 47:23probably was panicking about the market for one and wanted to do honestly fair because
- 47:29maybe he had some bonker investments, you know, maybe some commercial properties weren't
- 47:35what they he thought they were going to be. Like, I get like,
- 47:37I just was curious, like they led us up to it but didn't
- 47:42tell us more about it. And I'm write I was just curious because we
- 47:45know about him. Yeah, and interesting that he was, you know,
- 47:50allowed to be filmed and that he signed up to do this. I thought
- 47:53that was great because he needs some you need you want names at some level,
- 48:00and this also seemed real. And did you see that it was designed
- 48:05by fay Resnik. Yes, And then Joey comes in like this sucks,
- 48:10I know, and that other guy's like this is like West Hollywood but like
- 48:15worse. Yeah, like five years ago or something. Yeah, something like
- 48:19that. But like to Joey's point, I was like, he's crazy.
- 48:23Oh he actually has a point. It is a good point. Wait.
- 48:29No, that wasn't the vertical house. That was No, that was a
- 48:32different house. Which house was that? Oh? Oh okay, I thought
- 48:37it was that house. So No, that was was a verticality, which
- 48:43I never knew. That word that was Sierra Madre in the bird Streets.
- 48:47That one is for eleven nine, And that point I totally got too.
- 48:54I was like, yeah, you walk right in and there's steps, you
- 48:59know, to the although I will say this, of all the boxy shaped
- 49:05houses, that one, to me, I liked more than any of the
- 49:08other ones because of how vertical it was, because it was closing off areas
- 49:15to where it wasn't just this wide box where everything is just one room and
- 49:21it's so spacious. I like a cozier feel, and these boxes have no
- 49:27cozy factor, no warmth to them whatsoever. So that vertical house, though
- 49:31it was confusing, and I saw his point, it felt more homey to
- 49:37me than the other ones. Yeah, I hated it. Yeah, because
- 49:40hated it, But yeah, you know, I actually liked massive house the
- 49:46best you did, because you like faces. Next decorating, I love deur.
- 49:52What house had the door, the bathroom door that slid close, the
- 50:00one that as the slats which don't give you privacy in visual or sound.
- 50:07Oh god, see that's what I'm talking about. I don't know, but
- 50:10I hate that. I hate it all so much. We've got Cindy here,
- 50:15who says, longtime real estate broker twenty five years here. Oh good,
- 50:19yes, let's talk Cindy. She says, if Sophia is the one
- 50:22who just joined yeah, she is. I am not getting good vibes like
- 50:27I do for the other two. Doesn't seem like her thing. She comes
- 50:31off disinterested. Yes, is it may not be her thing at all.
- 50:37I mean they're trying to, you know, get her in the family business,
- 50:42see if it fits. And when she goes to that lunch with her
- 50:45sisters and with Kyle and she's like, I'm overwhelmed this transition in my life,
- 50:50like I don't know things, and Kyle's like, look, if you
- 50:52aren't feeling this, then you don't have to do this. Like yeah,
- 50:57and there's always kids who don't want to have anything to do with the family
- 51:00business. Yeah, and sure enough she probably won't. You know, Alexia
- 51:08is built for it. And it's Farah too. Yeah. Yeah, I
- 51:13mean I've yet to see Farah. I haven't seen the first season, but
- 51:17I guess to say, obviously, Alexi has more charisma, and she's more
- 51:22outspoken, and she's got that it factor that both Mauricio and Kyle have.
- 51:28She's you know, she's really I mean that's why Zach when he was roasting
- 51:32he was like, you're the you know, you're Mauricio point two point zero
- 51:36and Para's like, but yeah, yeah, yeah, I think also interesting
- 51:46to the dynamic between the girls. I loved that how close that they are,
- 51:52but that there's still like was it Alexia that was saying that she had
- 51:57fomo when she wasn't included in hangs with Sarah Sophia? Yeah, that was
- 52:02wild. That was some sibling stuff. I don't have sisters. I have
- 52:07one brother, and he and I are really tight. I can't imagine a
- 52:12having a third sibling, but that would be so hard. I guess that.
- 52:15I mean, obviously that happens. I just always think of that family
- 52:19as being so all for one, one for all, because that was so
- 52:23ingrained in Kyle's upbringing. And we know that there's been some tension, but
- 52:30yeah, I just was like, oh wow, even there, there's like
- 52:34a hierarchy. Yeah. And I also think, like, you know,
- 52:37Farah and Sophia's vibes are so much more chill that that's probably why they connect.
- 52:45Alexia has a different vibe to her, and maybe, you know,
- 52:50I mean, they all just have different dynamics. I mean, yeah,
- 52:52lovely, lovely, lovely gals. It was really nice to see them and
- 52:57like see how this is all taking place and when Alexi was kind of calling
- 53:02out. Well, actually, Sophia had a hard time with Alexi calling her
- 53:06out in front of people, saying, why don't you check my emails?
- 53:08And this is somebody who hasn't had work experience before. So she's lucky that
- 53:15she has the opportunity to be handled with kid gloves, because in the real
- 53:22world, you know, that just doesn't happen. You. You are just
- 53:25going to be told and your feelings are going to be hurt and you're shit
- 53:29and you just have to step up and you've got to do what it takes.
- 53:32So it'll be interesting to see if she sinks or swims. Who is
- 53:37the who is our darling real estate? Was it Cindy? Cindy? Yeah?
- 53:39Yeah, so Cindy, Like, I can't imagine if you had an
- 53:43intern and they didn't look through your emails for three days, good market,
- 53:47bad market? I think you would you could be the I would assume that's
- 53:52like real estate one oh one bonkers. But I I hope that Alexi wasn't
- 53:58totally counting on you to be checking the email. I hope Alexia knew better
- 54:04than to let it go for three days. Oh yeah, yeah, right
- 54:07right right A couple of comments over from the Darlings and the chat VW says,
- 54:14I just read Paul Napa Nassa bought that house for five million and it
- 54:17was a spec house. Oh and so he puts him and then he but
- 54:21he had seventeen million put into it, so he still he made a million
- 54:23bucks. Yeah, that's pretty good. By the way, that was wild
- 54:28to learn about this auction that you can you can make and two people had
- 54:31offers a twenty one million dollars before the auction and they were just like,
- 54:36we'll close in two weeks. That's that or however that was, and he
- 54:39didn't take it. It's just it's interesting because everyone was really wanting him to
- 54:45take it, which obviously he would have made more money if he would have
- 54:49taken it, right, but he didn't want that money in escrow. He
- 54:52just wanted like fast cash. Uh. But what an interesting lesson to learn
- 54:59because eighteen million, eight twenty one and he should have taken it. I'm
- 55:05sure he's happy, but but you know, like cash is cash, and
- 55:08like Maurcio said, it could have fallen apart and then he's back to square
- 55:12one. So it's not really like here's the deal. You should take it.
- 55:15There's there. It wasn't one hundred percent in terms of they get down
- 55:21the road and then it's not available. And now he's been rejected, and
- 55:24now it's like another like, what was wrong with that deal? Why didn't
- 55:29it go through? I kind of got why. I didn't want to do
- 55:31that. Yeah, that's now he's got that great thank on him, right
- 55:36because and especially in this market, So that does you know now that we're
- 55:38talking about it does make sense. I did love the live watching of the
- 55:44auction that they were in the office and everyone was freaking out. That was
- 55:47some great stuff. I mean, that's really really fun. I want him
- 55:51to do auctions more often because I really like the palpable thing and I loved
- 55:54that Tomato the dad who was like, oh no, no, below market
- 56:00value, and Reese was like, I get it dead stop time every time
- 56:05that camera came at him. Oh, it's not good. It's not gonna
- 56:10be good. It's not Oh this is looking really bad. It's like you,
- 56:15I need to hype people in here, not not that, not that.
- 56:22Yeah, that was really fun. Farah is the new director of operations.
- 56:25I don't exactly know what that means, but she's still selling houses,
- 56:30so she's obviously pulling double duty. Oh, I thought that they hired someone.
- 56:36I thought that That's what I thought too, And then I thought that
- 56:38she said she was the new director. Now I'm confused. Okay, does
- 56:43any can anyone clarify if Sarah is the new director of operations or if they
- 56:47hired someone, or if I am I don't know? Yeah, am I
- 56:51the new director of or I mean I feel like I should be. But
- 56:55maybe it's Amy. Okay, maybe it's Cindy. Could be Cindy. Cindy,
- 57:00do you want the job? We have to talk a little bit about
- 57:05how Brandon called out Ben for like unfollowing him on social media. What are
- 57:09your thoughts on this? Well, what is anybody's thoughts on that? Like
- 57:14Brandon had a totally valid point, Like I was, like, what world
- 57:17do you live in? Ben? Where your whole vibe is built on relationships
- 57:23and you don't know to not unfollow people? Like You're lucky if Brandon's the
- 57:28only one, you did it too, and now you can learn and not
- 57:30do that because if you do that to clients, forget it. I mean
- 57:37you know what I mean, Like it's one thing and Ben kept categorizing the
- 57:43problem wrong. He kept saying just because you don't like his selfies, and
- 57:45it's like no, no, no, you unfollowed him and they were like,
- 57:51why didn't you mute him. He's like, I didn't know what that
- 57:52was. I see this as somebody who is not privy as that one Gal
- 57:59explos what name his assistant about like kind of like, yeah, understanding the
- 58:06etiquette of social media. He's different in his generation, so he doesn't understand
- 58:12he needed to be told truth be told. I understand what he's meaning about,
- 58:16Like, you know, some people's feeds just clutter it up with like
- 58:21these selfies, So I'm kind of like I don't need to see a selfie
- 58:24of someone over and over again if that's your content. I did go to
- 58:29Brandon social media, and he does have real estate in there is he does
- 58:36have a lot of like selfies, but he does mix it up with real
- 58:38estate. I would say he would need to maybe lean more into the real
- 58:43estate thing instead of just selfies like looking good. But that's what the kids
- 58:46are doing, and that's the younger generation. So there was a real communication
- 58:51breakdown with them, and I thought that as a leader, Ben really should
- 58:57have. I felt two ways about it. Ben should have not been so
- 59:00offended about being asked that He's like, I'm sorry, you're not God like.
- 59:07He can broach you on certain things, like you know, I know
- 59:10that he's new to the business or all. He's been in the business for
- 59:14several years now, but I know he's not selling selling selling all the time
- 59:17million dollar houses. But you can still be respectful. So I did think
- 59:22that Ben was an asshole about that. Just follow him again, that's the
- 59:24other thing. I'm like, it's oh, yeah, it doesn't cost you
- 59:28anything, just follow him again. But I also felt like, if I
- 59:32have a boss, I'm not going to go to them and be like,
- 59:36why did you want follow me? I mean I also feel like, well
- 59:38he didn't. Ben said he should have done that, but the gals got
- 59:45defended on that. That's that's true. That's right. Melissa is a shitstirrer.
- 59:52Yeah, oh yeah, yeah, yeah, I like her. Wow,
- 59:55I mean, Lord, have mercy. Uh, let's see what Kelly
- 1:00:00says. I think that. I think in that job, you follow coworkers,
- 1:00:05okay, yeah, but in other jobs it's best to keep personal personal
- 1:00:09maybe have a real estate account and a personal yeah, I mean, that's
- 1:00:14a really good point, and then she says, I have also found that
- 1:00:19Ben's generation is way more sensitive than people in their forties, and Double twenty
- 1:00:23five's completely agree. So I do see both sides to this, and at
- 1:00:29the end of the day, they're both they both have points and they both
- 1:00:32need to kind of relax a little bit and see each other's side. And
- 1:00:37yeah, yeah, follow him, I think, and mute. I mean,
- 1:00:39you see part of the agency that you're in, Like, that's stupid,
- 1:00:45especially when he's supposed to be like mentoring him in a way like I
- 1:00:49thought it was a bad vibe. It's a bad vibe. But to Kelly's
- 1:00:52point, yeah, I get that that is very insulting to a certain generation.
- 1:01:00Be insulting to me too, honestly. Well, and I guess now
- 1:01:02is the time I did unfollow you because we're in two different groups. I'm
- 1:01:07in the Phillips Ganell group and you are in the daresis uh chang, thank
- 1:01:15you, thank you. Your blouse is so awesome. It's like, I
- 1:01:21love the pels going over the lapels. It's not a blazer shirt I do.
- 1:01:27I'm really leaning into my jockey. Yeah, yeah, I sell I
- 1:01:37will sell you this house. While we're riding. Let's go for a ride.
- 1:01:42Okay, I think you know we'll have to end with this, which
- 1:01:47is that Mauricio he's got has they fly in his private jet to Palm Spring
- 1:01:52see golfs with them, Like, yeah, you want to say something.
- 1:01:54I didn't know that Kyle and Mauricio had a private jet. I didn't either,
- 1:02:00And I don't think it's theirs, because that couldn't hold the whole family.
- 1:02:02No, it's got to be maybe they just rented it for the day,
- 1:02:07you know, maybe they just rent it as needed, or it's owned
- 1:02:12by several different people, Like right, I bet it's like a timeshare thing.
- 1:02:15Yeah, because it's small. So because I know that she has been
- 1:02:17on private jets with the gals on Beverly Hills, Kyle, but it's never
- 1:02:22been hers. Yeah, yeah, Sutton had one, right, Yeah,
- 1:02:28So anyway, keep going. Okay, So they go to Palm Springs,
- 1:02:31they're golfing. I had to really skip through a lot of this, but
- 1:02:37we get to a discussion about the Hilton Highland thing. So Zach has been
- 1:02:42brought over and from Hilton and Highland. This this clown, the guy who
- 1:02:46does all the impressions who By the way, I now I need to get
- 1:02:51my real estate I license because if all I have to do is just sell,
- 1:02:57like doing comedy bits like I'll make a killing, I'll just but Cat's
- 1:03:01six, What is this place? It's terrible. You know, his impressions
- 1:03:06weren't bad, it is the thing. They were actually really I kind of
- 1:03:08knew everyone he was Paccino Trump. I mean he doesn't. Yeah. I
- 1:03:15was like, pretty good, it's pretty good. It's pretty good. It's
- 1:03:21not just we want to like rip him for like clowning like that. I
- 1:03:23mean it is like so corny, and believe me, I would not be
- 1:03:30doing that. But he still has that Larry David energy where he's over it,
- 1:03:34which makes it funny when he's like, I'm gonna do an impression now.
- 1:03:38Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's a really good point. He's likable.
- 1:03:44He is very likable. Yeah. Uh So now we find out and
- 1:03:50he hits some boy, he really hits them between the eyes there and at
- 1:03:55this dinner, after Moe explains what happened at Hillman Island that you know,
- 1:04:02look, I felt like I got fucked. You know, there were one
- 1:04:05hundred agents and they did a billion dollars in sales, and he did nineteen
- 1:04:11point six percent of their production. So when I heard those stats, I
- 1:04:15said, Okay, I get it. Yeah, and I don't I still.
- 1:04:24I just think there's a lot of and we know this about both of
- 1:04:28these families, the Hiltons and Kyle Richards family, that the communication within their
- 1:04:34families is a little bit broken and they maybe don't fully talk about things that
- 1:04:41are difficult. So I'm willing to give Paris the benefit of the doubt that
- 1:04:45like, maybe her dad hasn't really talked to her about this, and like
- 1:04:48I get that she feels insulted that this is becoming a big storyline for Mauricia
- 1:04:56to make money off of kind of knocking her dad. That I can't be
- 1:05:00easy for that family, for Paris, et cetera. That stead it's Mariso's
- 1:05:05origin story and it sounds legit, and it would be really frustrating. Yes,
- 1:05:12And to think that Zach did explain to him like, hey, by
- 1:05:15the way, Rick took me out a week ago and asked, you know,
- 1:05:18offered me equity, And Mario Cio was like, oh, I mean
- 1:05:21I really didn't see that coming. And I wonder how if that storyline was
- 1:05:27played. I asked these questions about like storyline being you know, the producers
- 1:05:32knew about this and like they're gonna you know, draw it out, and
- 1:05:36that's fine with me, but it is wild because well he asked him.
- 1:05:44But it's like twenty years later, you know. I mean he's been he's
- 1:05:46probably been with Hilton Highland for what fifteen years now, so he's just now
- 1:05:51being asked to, you know, get equity, whereas Mauricio had been there
- 1:05:56for a very you know, a smaller amount of time before he was immediately
- 1:05:59like can I please be a partner? Where That's where I had a little
- 1:06:01bit of an issue. It was like, well, you're asking to all
- 1:06:04of a sudden be like right up there, maybe you need to wait a
- 1:06:09little longer and you know, pay your dues or whatever. I don't know
- 1:06:12how it works. I would love to see what Cindy the in our chat
- 1:06:15has to say about Mauricio leaving Hilton Highland and basically you know, starting the
- 1:06:23agency, but seeing how it has boomed and like how he has not stopped
- 1:06:30and he's such a hustler. It was only going to be a matter of
- 1:06:31time before he left Hilton and Highland anyway. I just wonder if there was
- 1:06:35a could have been a better way for him to have left without the bad
- 1:06:40blood with the family, because obviously it was piled on and that complicated everything.
- 1:06:45Yeah. Yeah, there's so much going on there and we still don't
- 1:06:50know what Zach's decision is going to be, which that's a thing today.
- 1:06:55Oh yeah, I agree. That's the thing with these shows that I realized
- 1:06:59and watched wishing this that like, unlike other real estate shows and unlike the
- 1:07:04Bravo typical Housewives structures, like the drama is just ever present because it's such
- 1:07:13a brutally stressful environment and so you don't have to create a play day at
- 1:07:19a farm where you're, you know, gonna all make pumpkins, like,
- 1:07:25there's no time for that. It's like, you gotta sell work. I
- 1:07:30mean, I completely agree with you, and that's why this is great.
- 1:07:35I mean, if it's real work, I mean, it's like below Deck,
- 1:07:39you know, they're doing real work, they have real charters, people's
- 1:07:42lives are at stake, and you know, I mean on below Deck they
- 1:07:47are not necessarily in realty. But Ben not Ben Brandon. He was saying
- 1:07:56like, hey, uh, you know, you have to make like other
- 1:08:00ways to make money if you're not selling houses, like so these are people
- 1:08:04that are obviously you want to when you're not established as a realtor, you
- 1:08:08have to find other ways to make money. How about Sonica being canned on
- 1:08:15television yeah by yeah, and being comforted by her ex And that was messy
- 1:08:21and I did. I was very much here for Brandon with the whole like
- 1:08:26glass of water, like because he was like, she's getting fired, goldfiled
- 1:08:31because he was slamming her for like when they broke up, she just wasn't
- 1:08:35showing up, you know you kinda yea. And that's and we were told
- 1:08:39the very beginning, if you want to be successful, you gotta show up.
- 1:08:42Sonica's not showing up. You gotta let her go. But Brandon was
- 1:08:45so nervous too. He's like almost grabbing his water kind of grabbing his laptop
- 1:08:49the same way as he with a cup of water. Like it was just
- 1:08:51like, what the fuck's going on? That was really nerve wracking. I
- 1:08:56did feel bad for her, not because she was getting fired, because look,
- 1:09:00you're not selling, you're not showing up. Things are getting weird.
- 1:09:03You broke up with your boyfriend. He works here, he's the golden child.
- 1:09:08It's obvious he got to go, you know. Yeah. But I
- 1:09:11felt very second hand humiliation because it was on TV. And I'm sure she
- 1:09:15that's just hard, like that's she's young and it's hard. And I did
- 1:09:20really feel for her and she did feel blindsided. And I think what she
- 1:09:24meant by that is I didn't think that they would do this to me on
- 1:09:26camera, right, And that's that's really tough, and that's you know,
- 1:09:30yeah, because she probably was like, great, I'll come in. We're
- 1:09:33filming now, and not realizing like it's a trap. They're going to fire
- 1:09:39you, right. Meanwhile, Lexi's like who sounds just like Kyle's like they
- 1:09:43all do fine, Oh my god, and like when they cry, they're
- 1:09:45like at that lunch when they're all together, and Kyle's like, oh my
- 1:09:53god, I thought I was at fine. Thirty minutes at you there and
- 1:09:56you can go buy something to wear? Mom, I don't have time.
- 1:09:58What are you gonna eat? What's wrong? Sothia? I just feel like
- 1:10:00I'm in a transition. I mean, it was just like where am I?
- 1:10:06It's cute, it's really cute though, Alexia the most is such a
- 1:10:12little like carbon copy of Kyle. Yeah, yeah, Kyle for Miles,
- 1:10:17Kyle four miles. VW says I was surprised Rick actually left H and H
- 1:10:25as well. Oh yeah, I think is gone to new business. The
- 1:10:30other co owner of H and H died so hard to Yeah. So so
- 1:10:36obviously Rick is starting a new business and now he wants to bring Zach along
- 1:10:42for this, right, and so maybe he's like, well, that's a
- 1:10:45loophole. I wasn't recruiting him for H and H. It's a new business.
- 1:10:49So I absolutely absolutely agree. I mean, and I frankly don't have
- 1:10:54a problem with it. I mean, no, it seems like it's part
- 1:10:58for the course there in that life. When Mauricio left Hilton Highland, from
- 1:11:05all the pieces that were gathering, Kyle did say he had his own group,
- 1:11:10He had the Yumansky Group at Hilton Highland, right, he did take
- 1:11:15clients from that group that was, but it was under the umbrella of Hilton
- 1:11:18Highland. And that's where the dirty business comes in, where it's like you're
- 1:11:21not supposed to take clients. Well, then it's like is it a gray
- 1:11:26area if it's in your group, you know, but people do that all
- 1:11:30the time. Yeah, I feel I think it was probably more that they
- 1:11:36gave Mauricio a great opportunity to be under their umbrella, and they felt that
- 1:11:42they deserved more for putting their neck out for him. Yeah, and and
- 1:11:48I actually have feelings about that where I totally see that it just sucks that
- 1:11:55it was family, you know, because we did get that. They're,
- 1:12:00like you said, their origin story and Kyle talk about like, oh,
- 1:12:02we got our licenses together, like we were poor, we got he got
- 1:12:05fire, we know what we're gonna do. We're twenty five, we had
- 1:12:08kids, and like we just decided to get our licenses together. And then
- 1:12:11the next thing, you know, Rick took him in. So it's like
- 1:12:15somebody took you in when you needed help the most, and this is how
- 1:12:18you repay him by right basically like you didn't get what you wanted from them,
- 1:12:25so you immediately left. I suppose really going back in time, it
- 1:12:30could have been done a different way. But whatever, Let's just lastly talk
- 1:12:34about Kyle and Mauricio in the kitchen at the very end, and they're just
- 1:12:39like living two different lives. He's just like I didn't even know where you
- 1:12:43were, you know, you were gone somewhere. And then well, like
- 1:12:45we're kind of seeing the same scenes play out again, but just from like
- 1:12:50Kyle's in a better mood, but Kyle's in a bet. It's weird.
- 1:12:55It's like these are the same, but she seems more willing to be nice
- 1:12:59and show any uncomfortableness whereas she did on Beverly Hills, you know what I
- 1:13:03mean. Because it's this show. She's like, Okay, I'll act like
- 1:13:06we're okay, right, yeah, because she's not going to get a private
- 1:13:12interview to talk about it. Well, maybe she will, I don't know.
- 1:13:15So she's going to Nashville to shoot the Morgan video. How to see
- 1:13:20that was wild, And at this point, Mauricio saying like, I'm trying
- 1:13:24to save my marriage. You know, we're in marriage counseling, and you
- 1:13:27know, at this point, I don't know if she like is in love
- 1:13:30with me anymore. And so we're now seeing this and uh, and then
- 1:13:35Mauricio is like, yeah, Rick is trying to get Zach back for his
- 1:13:39new business and he's like, do you you know, do you know about
- 1:13:42that? And she's like, I don't know yeah, so Kathy and Kyle
- 1:13:44are not speaking it then I wish I knew and why you know, Yeah
- 1:13:51so, but Kathy and Kyle would have ever talked about Zach, I mean,
- 1:13:57like or anything to do with the business, which is part of the
- 1:14:00fallout anyway. But yeah, well, oh okay, oh yeah, Russ
- 1:14:09said that Mercedes works for the agency. Now that's right, MJ does.
- 1:14:14Oh cool, you're very happy that you didn't get Mercedes on this. Oh
- 1:14:17wow, were you think of her because of the Traders that you were?
- 1:14:21I think Russ has a problem with her choices she made on the Traders,
- 1:14:25I'm guessing. But you know, I hear what you're saying. Maybe on
- 1:14:30some level it's just family and I like that, and that we don't know
- 1:14:33any of these people, like we're just getting to know these people for the
- 1:14:36first time, and there's something very refreshing about it, you know. Yeah,
- 1:14:41yeah, people that we're getting you know. I mean, obviously we
- 1:14:44know Mauricio, we know Kyle, but all the agents we have no clue
- 1:14:47who they are. And the Brits are gone. So right anyway, guys,
- 1:14:54what a great show. I'm glad that we only are talking about three
- 1:14:57episodes because it's always so much to talk about in you know, I mean,
- 1:15:00we've gone very long, so anything else you want to say about it?
