Did Todd Blanche Deliberately Keep Ghislaine Maxwell From Discussing Donald Trump? (10/28/26) · The Epstein Chronicles

• 0:00
Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the
• 0:03
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. Over the past 24 hours, the Democrats on
• 0:08
Speaker 1: the House Judiciary Committee have unveiled their Epstein-slash-Trump report. And
• 0:15
Speaker 1: the allegations made inside of that report are more than damning.
• 0:19
Speaker 1: I mean, just think about it for a second. These
• 0:22
Speaker 1: kinds of allegations, being lobbed against a sitting president, Just
• 0:26
Speaker 1: take a look at the presidents of the past and
• 0:28
Speaker 1: some of the controversies that sunk them. And then frame
• 0:32
Speaker 1: that with what we've heard about Donald Trump. Now look,
• 0:36
Speaker 1: I'm not saying all these allegations against Trump are true.
• 0:38
Speaker 1: I don't know. And I'm not going to sit here
• 0:40
Speaker 1: and make pretend I do know. But what I do
• 0:43
Speaker 1: know for a fact is this. Whenever there's allegations such
• 0:47
Speaker 1: as these, they need to be looked at. And they
• 0:49
Speaker 1: need to be looked at by an independent party. Because
• 0:53
Speaker 1: there's no doubt that the Democrats have a lot to gain.
• 0:55
Speaker 1: by trying to torpedo Trump. But does that make what
• 0:58
Speaker 1: they're saying untrue? Of course it doesn't. And for those
• 1:02
Speaker 1: of you who are familiar with election season, you know
• 1:05
Speaker 1: that there's always an October surprise. And this year, I
• 1:09
Speaker 1: thought it was going to be the story about Lindsey Graham.
• 1:12
Speaker 1: But instead, we get this new report by the Democrats.
• 1:16
Speaker 1: And I think it's going to help them during the midterms.
• 1:19
Speaker 1: I mean, anytime you have a report like this that
• 1:21
Speaker 1: comes out, and there's people that have been sitting on
• 1:24
Speaker 1: the fence... It's going to push them away from the
• 1:28
Speaker 1: ruling party, right? I'm talking about independent voters, not people
• 1:32
Speaker 1: that are MAGA or, you know, the base, whatever. I'm
• 1:35
Speaker 1: talking about independents that might have crossed party lines last
• 1:39
Speaker 1: time around to vote for Donald Trump. A lot of
• 1:42
Speaker 1: those same people are staying home. And I've talked to
• 1:47
Speaker 1: a lot of people in my own life, independents, who
• 1:49
Speaker 1: aren't even bothering voting this time around because they feel disenfranchised.
• 1:54
Speaker 1: They feel like they've been lied to. Like they've been
• 1:56
Speaker 1: dog walked. We were told there's going to be no wars.
• 2:00
Speaker 1: We were told that the Epstein folks are going to
• 2:01
Speaker 1: be held accountable. All sorts of shit. And of course,
• 2:06
Speaker 1: none of it's come to fruition. So when you have
• 2:08
Speaker 1: a situation like that, that's already on fire, and you
• 2:11
Speaker 1: add more gasoline to it, known as Jeffrey Epstein, it's
• 2:14
Speaker 1: not going to work out for you. And if you
• 2:16
Speaker 1: thought that the report stopped there, you're mistaken. Because the
• 2:20
Speaker 1: report also goes into the cover-up. and talks about Todd
• 2:24
Speaker 1: Blanche and how he scared Maxwell away from a Trump accuser.
• 2:29
Speaker 1: So in today's episode, we have an article from Above
• 2:32
Speaker 1: the Law, and we're going to dive into that topic
• 2:34
Speaker 1: a little bit more. Headline, House Democrats say Todd Blanche
• 2:39
Speaker 1: scared Ghislaine Maxwell away from a Trump accuser. This article
• 2:44
Speaker 1: was authored by Catherine Rubino. Eight days before election day,
• 2:49
Speaker 1: House Judiciary Committee Democrats released a 50-plus page staff report
• 2:54
Speaker 1: whose title borrows from the birthday letter Donald Trump insists
• 2:57
Speaker 1: he never wrote. We have certain things in common, Jeffrey.
• 3:01
Speaker 1: The case against Donald Trump emerging in the Epstein files
• 3:05
Speaker 1: and the DOJ's desperate effort to cover it up. Think
• 3:09
Speaker 1: about how damning that is. We have a sitting president
• 3:13
Speaker 1: and this is the controversy surrounding him? Boy, somebody go
• 3:17
Speaker 1: tell Gary Hart, The report released Monday by ranking member
• 3:22
Speaker 1: Jamie Raskin details evidence involving 11 women. Five of them
• 3:26
Speaker 1: directly accused Trump of rape or sexual assault in Jeffrey
• 3:30
Speaker 1: Epstein's company or presence. And two of the allegations involve
• 3:34
Speaker 1: 13-year-old girls. Democrats want an independent counsel to investigate both
• 3:40
Speaker 1: Epstein's co-conspirators and the Justice Department's handling of the whole mess.
• 3:45
Speaker 1: And I am 100% on board with that. But... Not
• 3:49
Speaker 1: just this administration. Going all the way back. That includes Obama.
• 3:54
Speaker 1: That includes Biden. And that includes Clinton. So I hope
• 3:59
Speaker 1: everybody understands the stakes. We're not talking about just one-way
• 4:03
Speaker 1: traffic here. If we get a special counsel, a real
• 4:06
Speaker 1: special counsel, it's going to be on. And everybody is
• 4:10
Speaker 1: going to be left holding the bag. Consider this the
• 4:15
Speaker 1: Democrats' October surprise, released with Election Day in sight. It
• 4:19
Speaker 1: may not cut through the MAGA haze, very little does,
• 4:22
Speaker 1: but at least someone's trying. The newest allegation comes from
• 4:26
Speaker 1: Beatrice Kuhl, a Swiss former pageant contestant. She says that
• 4:31
Speaker 1: Trump raped her in Plaza Hotel Suite during his 1993
• 4:34
Speaker 1: American Dream pageant on the same day Epstein introduced himself
• 4:38
Speaker 1: to her as Don's best friend. Not exactly a glowing recommendation, huh? Yeah,
• 4:43
Speaker 1: I'm Donald Trump's best friend. But sure, they didn't really
• 4:47
Speaker 1: know each other, right? They weren't homies. The account rests
• 4:52
Speaker 1: on her interviews with the committee staff, and she was
• 4:55
Speaker 1: previously described the encounter as an attempted rape. The White
• 4:58
Speaker 1: House says none of it's true. And look, again, I
• 5:01
Speaker 1: have no idea. I wasn't there. It should be investigated, though.
• 5:05
Speaker 1: That's what I'm calling for. I'm not calling for anybody
• 5:08
Speaker 1: to be strung up without being investigated. I'm calling for
• 5:12
Speaker 1: a robust, real investigation that drags everybody in. Is that
• 5:16
Speaker 1: too much to ask for as an American citizen? I
• 5:20
Speaker 1: guess it is. I mean, God forbid, I want allegations
• 5:23
Speaker 1: of childhood abuse looked into. God forbid. And on the
• 5:28
Speaker 1: flip side of that, if I was part of the
• 5:30
Speaker 1: Trump administration or one of these people that says they've
• 5:33
Speaker 1: been wrongly accused, I'd want a special investigator to clear
• 5:37
Speaker 1: my name. Why are they so against it? What are
• 5:42
Speaker 1: you trying to hide? The cover-up section of the report
• 5:46
Speaker 1: is also damning. Start with Todd Blanch, Trump's former criminal
• 5:49
Speaker 1: defense lawyer and now Attorney General, who personally interviewed Ghislaine
• 5:53
Speaker 1: Maxwell in 2025. According to the report, Blanch steered Maxwell
• 5:59
Speaker 1: away on at least three separate occasions from discussing Jane.
• 6:03
Speaker 1: Jane is a survivor whose account in the FBI files
• 6:06
Speaker 1: say Epstein introduced her to Trump at Mar-a-Lago when she
• 6:10
Speaker 1: was 14 with the line, this is a good one, huh?
• 6:13
Speaker 1: At one point, Blanche told Maxwell, let's not talk about individuals. Yeah,
• 6:18
Speaker 1: that's a little bit of obstruction of justice, no? Just
• 6:21
Speaker 1: like I told you at the time. Todd Blanche is
• 6:23
Speaker 1: dick deep. And if we had a real country that
• 6:26
Speaker 1: cared about scumbaggery, Todd Blanche wouldn't be the Attorney General.
• 6:30
Speaker 1: He'd be on trial for corruption. But unfortunately, we do
• 6:35
Speaker 1: not have that kind of world or that country. Democrats
• 6:38
Speaker 1: say that may amount to witness tampering and obstruction. I
• 6:41
Speaker 1: agree with that, it sure does. at the very least
• 6:43
Speaker 1: a basis for an investigation. Where's the OIG investigating Todd Blanche? Maxwell,
• 6:52
Speaker 1: you'll recall, was moved to a minimum security camp in
• 6:55
Speaker 1: Texas roughly a week after that interview. A transfer, Senator
• 6:58
Speaker 1: Sheldon Whitehouse, is still waiting for Blanche to explain. Never
• 7:02
Speaker 1: gonna happen. Blanche can do whatever he wants, and remember
• 7:06
Speaker 1: the reason why. The reason why is because they know
• 7:10
Speaker 1: they're all gonna get pardons. They know that Donald Trump's
• 7:12
Speaker 1: going to pardon them all. So they're going to do
• 7:14
Speaker 1: whatever he wants them to do. And it's going to
• 7:19
Speaker 1: go on like this forever now. Every administration is going
• 7:22
Speaker 1: to do the same thing because they know they can
• 7:24
Speaker 1: get away with it. And that's why it's such a
• 7:26
Speaker 1: big fucking deal. And that's why I'm against this kind
• 7:28
Speaker 1: of shit no matter what party is doing it. Then
• 7:32
Speaker 1: there are the documents. The report says an FBI agent's
• 7:35
Speaker 1: internal search for Trump and Epstein under exploitation of minors
• 7:40
Speaker 1: returned a case number tied to Epstein's 2007 federal investigation.
• 7:45
Speaker 1: A whistleblower told Democrats that documents linked to that case
• 7:50
Speaker 1: have been withheld from Congress and the public. How is
• 7:54
Speaker 1: that acceptable? Not one single piece of documentation that might
• 7:59
Speaker 1: be damning should be withheld. That's what the law called for.
• 8:04
Speaker 1: So what are these dudes doing? And why are they
• 8:06
Speaker 1: getting away with it? A still redacted 2009 email From
• 8:10
Speaker 1: Epstein's lawyer, says Trump, specifically asked his own attorney to
• 8:14
Speaker 1: let Epstein's team know about Trump's interview with the lawyer
• 8:17
Speaker 1: for Epstein's victims. That same redacted 2009 material has Trump
• 8:22
Speaker 1: saying Epstein was never asked to leave Mar-a-Lago. Well, well, well,
• 8:26
Speaker 1: I thought that Donald Trump got rid of him because
• 8:30
Speaker 1: he was such a menace, such a pest. Come on,
• 8:33
Speaker 1: are you telling me that Donald Trump's bullshitting us? There's
• 8:36
Speaker 1: no way. We're talking about Honest Abe over here, right?
• 8:41
Speaker 1: George Washington. The man's never told a lie. Just a
• 8:44
Speaker 1: bastion of honesty. A pillar of society. A real salt-of-the-earth type.
• 8:50
Speaker 1: Who the fuck do they think they're kidding? That's awkward,
• 8:54
Speaker 1: since I kicked him out has been the official story
• 8:57
Speaker 1: for years. Blanche's explanation for the redaction is that it's
• 9:01
Speaker 1: privileged communication between counsel. Of course, Blanche will always have
• 9:06
Speaker 1: some kind of reasoning. Well, you see, what had happened was...
• 9:11
Speaker 1: And I'm so sick of it. I'm so sick of
• 9:13
Speaker 1: these people getting away with this bullshit while the rest
• 9:15
Speaker 1: of us have the full weight of the government dropped
• 9:17
Speaker 1: on us if we jaywalk. The Epstein Files Transparency Act,
• 9:24
Speaker 1: which Trump signed, allows redactions to protect victims. It has
• 9:27
Speaker 1: no carve-out for things that make the president look bad,
• 9:31
Speaker 1: a distinction the DOJ has struggled with since Jump. Blanche
• 9:35
Speaker 1: personally blocked the DEA from releasing an unredacted document about
• 9:39
Speaker 1: a 2015 investigation into Epstein's associates. Then, Katie Fang sued him,
• 9:46
Speaker 1: and Judge Emmett Sullivan found Blanche had effectively conceded he
• 9:49
Speaker 1: was violating the law. Well, yeah, because that's what he
• 9:52
Speaker 1: was doing. Blanche answered with a brief that reads like
• 9:57
Speaker 1: a kid yelling that's not fair, and by September, Sullivan
• 10:00
Speaker 1: was warning him about contempt. New Mexico sued too, because
• 10:04
Speaker 1: it can't get the files it needs for its own
• 10:06
Speaker 1: criminal investigation into Epstein's Oro Ranch. So the state and
• 10:10
Speaker 1: foreign prosecutors part of Raskin's demand isn't hypothetical. Well, we
• 10:16
Speaker 1: also have the UK trying to get information from about
• 10:19
Speaker 1: Prince Andrew, and the Trump administration's just stonewalling them the
• 10:23
Speaker 1: whole entire time. Ask yourself why. And last week brought
• 10:32
Speaker 1: reports that the White House officials helped draft the July
• 10:35
Speaker 1: 2025 FBI DOJ memo that effectively shut down further Epstein investigations. Well,
• 10:42
Speaker 1: what do you know? Could it be that the White
• 10:45
Speaker 1: House is at the sticks and controlling this whole entire cover-up?
• 10:49
Speaker 1: Who would have guessed it? The DOJ kept a 2009
• 10:53
Speaker 1: email about the president under wraps, but it published survivors
• 10:56
Speaker 1: identifying information. It withheld files tied to an exploitation of
• 11:01
Speaker 1: minor's case number, but it somehow found room in the
• 11:04
Speaker 1: production for an above-the-law newsletter written years after Epstein died
• 11:09
Speaker 1: because the government has taken this very seriously and Raskin
• 11:13
Speaker 1: isn't mincing words. Trump's Justice Department appears to be covering
• 11:16
Speaker 1: up these crimes to protect the president. said Judiciary Ranking
• 11:20
Speaker 1: Member Jamie Raskin in a statement. The women who survived
• 11:24
Speaker 1: Epstein deserve to be heard. Congress must have the complete
• 11:27
Speaker 1: files required by law, and an independent special counsel must
• 11:31
  Speaker 1: investigate Epstein's co-conspirators and the DOJ's cover-up and ensure that
• 11:35
Speaker 1: state and foreign prosecutors have the evidence they need to
• 11:39
Speaker 1: pursue justice. Does that seem like a gigantic ask? That
• 11:43
Speaker 1: seems like just the most basic duty, right? You have
• 11:47
Speaker 1: other law enforcement... divisions, or organizations asking for help, and
• 11:52
Speaker 1: you're refusing? The report itself is doubtful the administration will
• 11:57
Speaker 1: take even that minimal step, and it's not hard to
• 12:00
Speaker 1: see why. Blanche has already told the Senate the DOJ
• 12:04
Speaker 1: won't prosecute anyone else connected to Epstein. And he once
• 12:07
Speaker 1: explained that it isn't a crime to party with Mr. Epstein.
• 12:11
Speaker 1: Imagine being the Attorney General and popping that shit. I
• 12:14
Speaker 1: wonder if Mr. Blanche would think it would be okay
• 12:17
Speaker 1: if his daughter was partying with Jeffrey Epstein. Somehow I
• 12:20
Speaker 1: think that would ring some alarm bells. Under the special
• 12:26
Speaker 1: counsel regulations, the decision to appoint one belongs to the
• 12:30
Speaker 1: attorney general. So call on whether to investigate the president's
• 12:34
Speaker 1: ties to Epstein belongs to the president's lawyer. Sorry, former lawyer.
• 12:39
Speaker 1: I'll definitely be holding my breath for that one. So
• 12:43
Speaker 1: this report's not only damning for Trump, it's damning for
• 12:46
Speaker 1: Todd Blanche. And for me, in my opinion, I think
• 12:49
Speaker 1: the most damning part of it is the cover-up, because
• 12:53
Speaker 1: we can prove that. The other stuff, it's going to
• 12:55
Speaker 1: take a lot of work, right? And when you have
• 12:57
Speaker 1: this kind of DOJ that doesn't seem interested in digging deeper,
• 13:01
Speaker 1: it's going to be pretty difficult. But when it comes
• 13:03
Speaker 1: to the cover-up, oh, there's other ways to go about that.
• 13:06
Speaker 1: And remember, if we open the door with concrete allegations,
• 13:11
Speaker 1: such as the cover-up, then who knows where it goes?
• 13:15
Speaker 1: Because once you're in, you're in. Now, the caveat to
• 13:18
Speaker 1: all of this is that if the Democrats don't win
• 13:21
Speaker 1: the House, then Todd Blanch and the Trump administration is
• 13:24
Speaker 1: going to continue to try and put this to bed.
• 13:26
Speaker 1: They're going to continue to try and make pretend it's
• 13:30
Speaker 1: a big hoax. So there's a lot on the line
• 13:33
Speaker 1: as far as this story goes. And I think a
• 13:35
Speaker 1: lot of that's going to come down to what happens
• 13:38
Speaker 1: on Election Day. And I think after the election... we'll
• 13:42
Speaker 1: have a better idea as to where things are going.
• 13:44
Speaker 1: And when we have some more information, one way or
• 13:47
Speaker 1: the other, we'll get that added to the catalog as well.
• 13:51
Speaker 1: All the information that goes with this episode can be
• 13:53
Speaker 1: found in the description box.
