- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Thank you for listening to us.
- 0:03Speaker 1: Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:04Speaker 3: Seacrest.
- 0:04Speaker 1: On air, on air, on air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:10Speaker 2: It's Seacrest with you. Good morning, everybody. We've made it
- 0:13Speaker 2: to the basically almost end of the week. It is
- 0:16Speaker 2: October 29th, Thursday. What do we have today?
- 0:19Speaker 4: Wait, did we decide if we're not dressing up tomorrow?
- 0:23Speaker 1: No, it's too late.
- 0:24Speaker 5: Oh.
- 0:25Speaker 2: I'm so happy you said that. Thank you, Cisney, for
- 0:29Speaker 2: saving us from the Chore. Cloudy skies today. Highs in
- 0:33Speaker 2: the mid-70s. It's the Ryan's Roses today. That's coming up. Also,
- 0:37Speaker 2: we are paying your bills $ 1, 000 every hour. I was
- 0:41Speaker 2: reading this last night. For any foodies out there, the
- 0:46Speaker 2: most commonly mispronounced food words. For example, that bowl. This
- 0:55Speaker 2: one I get wrong. What is that bowl?
- 0:57Speaker 6: Acai.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Is it acai or acai or acai?
- 1:03Speaker 1: Acai.
- 1:04Speaker 2: Are you sure? Acai. Acai.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Acai.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Are you sure it's acai?
- 1:10Speaker 7: I think it's acai.
- 1:11Speaker 1: I think it's acai.
- 1:12Speaker 2: It's acai?
- 1:13Speaker 7: I think so because I had to say it once
- 1:15Speaker 7: in a spot and I said it wrong and then
- 1:17Speaker 7: I got corrected and then you know when that happens,
- 1:19Speaker 7: it just stays in your brain.
- 1:20Speaker 2: Hey chat, how do you say A-C-A-I bowl? Let's see
- 1:25Speaker 2: what my chat says here.
- 1:30Speaker 8: Oh, no.
- 1:31Speaker 2: It thinks I said hi, Chad. How do you say
- 1:34Speaker 2: hi more?
- 1:36Speaker 1: Just look it up and then.
- 1:37Speaker 2: That's what I said, bro. All right, fine. How about Worcestershire?
- 1:44Speaker 1: I can't even say it.
- 1:45Speaker 2: How many shushes are in Worcestershire? Worcestershire? I don't know it.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Those are good.
- 1:52Speaker 1: Okay, I'm excited for that.
- 1:54Speaker 2: All right, food words that we all get wrong. Gyro? Yero?
- 2:01Speaker 4: Yero.
- 2:02Speaker 2: Or hero? I thought it was gyro.
- 2:07Speaker 6: Yero.
- 2:08Speaker 2: What is it?
- 2:08Speaker 8: It's a yero.
- 2:09Speaker 3: Yero.
- 2:10Speaker 2: It's a yero.
- 2:12Speaker 6: Yero.
- 2:12Speaker 2: Hey, Chad, how do you say G-Y-R-O?
- 2:17Speaker 1: Stop calling him Chad.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Yero.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Just like we just said.
- 2:24Speaker 5: Yero.
- 2:25Speaker 8: Euro.
- 2:26Speaker 2: No, Euro.
- 2:27Speaker 8: Euro.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Like year without the R.
- 2:29Speaker 3: Euro.
- 2:30Speaker 2: All right, one more. This is so fun.
- 2:32Speaker 7: It really is.
- 2:34Speaker 2: P-H-O. How do you say it? Pho. It annoys me
- 2:38Speaker 2: when you say it like that.
- 2:39Speaker 1: But that's the way it is.
- 2:41Speaker 2: I know, but my sister does it. What is it?
- 2:43Speaker 2: It seems.
- 2:43Speaker 1: What do you say?
- 2:46Speaker 2: It's pho, but it looks like pho. And my sister goes,
- 2:50Speaker 2: we ordered pho tonight.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Last night, whatever.
- 2:52Speaker 4: Pho.
- 2:53Speaker 5: Pho.
- 2:55Speaker 2: I don't know. It is fun. Leachy. All right, let's go.
- 2:58Speaker 2: These are the things you do when you're alone at night.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Right there. Avril Lavigne on Kiss FM. Ruby, do you
- 3:06Speaker 2: want to bring this to the group here? What is happening?
- 3:09Speaker 9: I am so guilty of just sitting in my car
- 3:13Speaker 9: before actually getting inside my house just to scroll.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Just to go through your phone before you get home.
- 3:19Speaker 2: I do the same thing because you're not... First of all,
- 3:21Speaker 2: once you go in, you know things are going on.
- 3:24Speaker 2: And second of all, If you're not reading your stuff
- 3:26Speaker 2: while you're driving, then you want to kind of get
- 3:29Speaker 2: through it, flush it all out before you get out
- 3:32Speaker 2: of your car. I mean, I've sat in parking lots
- 3:35Speaker 2: and done that. I've sat at home and done that.
- 3:37Speaker 2: I've pulled up to places at friends' houses and done
- 3:40Speaker 2: that while they're just like, what are you doing, bro?
- 3:42Speaker 2: I'm like, hold on, hold on, hold on, to get
- 3:43Speaker 2: through it.
- 3:44Speaker 9: Yeah, and it's like your quiet space almost. Like I
- 3:47Speaker 9: came home from Trader Joe's last night, literally had two
- 3:50Speaker 9: bags full of groceries, and I'm just sitting there. scrolling
- 3:54Speaker 9: and I'm like why am I here in my car
- 3:55Speaker 9: for 10 minutes scrolling.
- 3:57Speaker 2: I don't want to get out I can't go face
- 3:59Speaker 2: them once I go face them it's over my time
- 4:02Speaker 2: is done I get it I mean Forget the phone
- 4:06Speaker 2: just to be alone in the car and not have
- 4:10Speaker 2: anybody in the car asking for stuff, wanting stuff, taking
- 4:14Speaker 2: them to ballet practice or soccer practice. I'm out. You
- 4:17Speaker 2: don't do that. I don't do it, but I think
- 4:20Speaker 2: the people who do do it and I think I
- 4:21Speaker 2: don't want to do that.
- 4:22Speaker 1: I do it.
- 4:23Speaker 2: I don't know how you do it. I can't even
- 4:25Speaker 2: get my stuff done for me, let alone kids stuff done.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Yeah, it's wild.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Maybe I'll have kids that don't do any extracurricular activities.
- 4:33Speaker 1: No, you won't. It's so wonderful. You know what you're saying?
- 4:37Speaker 1: Like people ask me what my hobbies are. Like that's
- 4:38Speaker 1: my hobby.
- 4:39Speaker 7: Like I go and I watch their hobbies.
- 4:42Speaker 2: My sister does the same.
- 4:44Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Every weekend.
- 4:45Speaker 8: What?
- 4:45Speaker 2: You don't get a weekend.
- 4:47Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Our weekends are gone.
- 4:49Speaker 2: Not for me. Well, after seven o'clock, we got that
- 4:52Speaker 2: Ryan's roses. We were telling you about. So stand by
- 4:56Speaker 2: new Ryan's roses coming up. No shortage of, people in
- 4:59Speaker 2: need of the public service of Ryan's roses. Uh, are
- 5:03Speaker 2: you a tit for tat person? Do you, do you
- 5:07Speaker 2: tit for tat? Are you transactional? Are you, are you
- 5:11Speaker 2: a grudge holder? Are you the kind of person that says, well,
- 5:15Speaker 2: I'm going to do it for you. You didn't do
- 5:17Speaker 2: it for me. Cause we have those people.
- 5:21Speaker 1: You don't want to be, you don't want to be that.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Oh, are you, are you that?
- 5:25Speaker 1: I don't think I am.
- 5:26Speaker 2: No, I don't have the energy.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Mm.
- 5:29Speaker 2: To tit and tat.
- 5:32Speaker 1: I can't remember. Just be kind.
- 5:36Speaker 7: Do it because you want to do it, not because
- 5:38Speaker 7: you are expecting something or you want something in return.
- 5:41Speaker 2: For example, happy birthday. You want to send somebody a
- 5:44Speaker 2: happy birthday? Do you ever think to yourself, well, let
- 5:46Speaker 2: me check and see if they wished me a happy
- 5:49Speaker 2: birthday before I wish them a happy birthday.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Oh, that's interesting.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Jordan does it. Jordan, you do this. Why do you
- 5:54Speaker 2: do this? Seems very childish.
- 5:57Speaker 8: You know, I'm usually not someone who's like petty or
- 6:00Speaker 8: like tit for tat here and there.
- 6:02Speaker 1: But this specific reason, I have to be.
- 6:06Speaker 8: Because there was a recent, I had a friend, their
- 6:09Speaker 8: birthday was, it was their birthday. I go on their
- 6:12Speaker 8: stories and they just have all these pictures.
- 6:15Speaker 1: I'm going through them.
- 6:16Speaker 8: And I'm like, maybe I should slide up and say
- 6:17Speaker 8: happy birthday too. But then I had to think back
- 6:20Speaker 8: and I was like, wait, let me just double, let
- 6:22Speaker 8: me just double check. So I go on our DMs
- 6:24Speaker 8: and our text messages and, for my birthday and see
- 6:27Speaker 8: like if they wish me a happy birthday and they didn't.
- 6:30Speaker 1: So I was like, you know, forget this.
- 6:33Speaker 2: Why? Why not make them feel better?
- 6:34Speaker 8: Why?
- 6:34Speaker 2: That is petty.
- 6:35Speaker 1: You're like literally scrolling through the phone.
- 6:37Speaker 2: That takes too much time.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Wasted so much time just looking.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Yeah, just wish them happy birthday. I mean, I wish
- 6:42Speaker 2: all of my exes happy birthdays until the year they
- 6:45Speaker 2: don't wish it to me, which makes me think they're
- 6:47Speaker 2: in it with somebody else. So I shouldn't wish it
- 6:49Speaker 2: to them. Otherwise, I just say. You do the same
- 6:51Speaker 2: exact thing.
- 6:52Speaker 1: You do the same exact thing.
- 6:53Speaker 4: No.
- 6:54Speaker 5: Yes.
- 6:54Speaker 3: Different.
- 6:55Speaker 2: No, because they only stop when they're in one.
- 6:58Speaker 1: You don't know that.
- 6:58Speaker 6: Yeah, I do.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true. I know the rule. I know our
- 7:01Speaker 2: rule is that we always send each other happy birthdays
- 7:03Speaker 2: until we're seeing somebody.
- 7:04Speaker 7: There's people in my world where I will say happy
- 7:07Speaker 7: birthday when I go to text them. They sent me
- 7:09Speaker 7: a happy birthday back in March. And like, that's our
- 7:11Speaker 7: only conversations now.
- 7:12Speaker 1: It's like, just happy birthday to each other. And I'm like,
- 7:15Speaker 1: should we even be friends anymore? I don't even know.
- 7:17Speaker 2: I think, you know, it makes people feel good.
- 7:20Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Don't go back and tit for tat. And that is
- 7:24Speaker 2: the definition of petty, Jordan.
- 7:26Speaker 3: FYI.
- 7:26Speaker 11: All right, guilty.
- 7:27Speaker 2: I'll take this one. We're moving towards Ryan's Roses. I
- 7:31Speaker 2: got your quote of the day next. Ice Kiss FM. Oh,
- 7:33Speaker 2: quick Halloween thingy thing. The non-candy items that kids actually
- 7:38Speaker 2: would take for trick-or-treating. If you don't give out candy,
- 7:42Speaker 2: then these things, I guess, kids don't hate. We do
- 7:46Speaker 2: some of these. They don't want pencils. They don't want
- 7:49Speaker 2: a little bag of carrots. People do it. They want squishies.
- 7:59Speaker 2: If this is non-candy stuff. Squishies, glow sticks, or what's
- 8:02Speaker 2: a Z-bar? A Clif Bar Z-bar?
- 8:04Speaker 1: It's like a protein bar, but for kids.
- 8:06Speaker 2: They're delicious. So you can do protein bars, glow sticks,
- 8:08Speaker 2: and squishies if you don't do candy. No care.
- 8:10Speaker 1: We do glow sticks, and it is a hit. I'm
- 8:13Speaker 1: telling you.
- 8:13Speaker 7: But they're such a pain in the butt. You have
- 8:16Speaker 7: to put the little snap thing on every single one.
- 8:18Speaker 7: But the kids love them.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Yes, we do glow sticks.
- 8:21Speaker 8: All right.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Today's quote for everyone. Before speaking. Is it true? Before speaking.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Is it kind? Before speaking, is it necessary? If it's
- 8:35Speaker 2: no to any of that, don't speak it. Oh, that's
- 8:38Speaker 2: so good. That was a good one. Takes a lot
- 8:40Speaker 2: of time to go through a checklist, but it's very thoughtful.
- 8:46Speaker 2: Almost time for Ryan's Roses 740. Sisney, what's happening? Kiss
- 8:50Speaker 2: FM Headlines with Sisney.
- 8:52Speaker 7: All coastal flood advisories remain in effect across L.A., Orange
- 8:56Speaker 7: and Ventura counties with a fourth day of high tides
- 8:59Speaker 7: expected and more on the way, of course, particularly on
- 9:02Speaker 7: Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve. Pasadena officials are warning community members
- 9:07Speaker 7: about scammers posing as public health officials to obtain personal
- 9:11Speaker 7: and financial information.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Disney has laid off between 100 and 200 employees.
- 9:18Speaker 7: In its experiences division, including the company's theme parks, resorts,
- 9:22Speaker 7: and cruise lines. And TikTok launched a new restaurant discovery
- 9:26Speaker 7: feature called Must Eat in L.A., New York and San Francisco.
- 9:31Speaker 2: We are very close to a Ryan's Roses this morning
- 9:33Speaker 2: at 740. All right. Our intern Bella has had a
- 9:38Speaker 2: lot of crises with her roommates. And yet here is
- 9:41Speaker 2: another one. So you live with somebody that likes the
- 9:44Speaker 2: temp set at 68 degrees. Now, this is here. Here's
- 9:47Speaker 2: the thing I'm going to throw out. And I had
- 9:49Speaker 2: to deal with this stuff with with Louis and Danaz
- 9:51Speaker 2: when we live together. Do you fair split if somebody
- 9:55Speaker 2: does more of something and the bills more for what
- 9:57Speaker 2: they use it for? Or do you split down the
- 10:00Speaker 2: middle evenly and cover this stuff before you guys really
- 10:04Speaker 2: live together? Your roommate likes it at 68 degrees, Bella.
- 10:08Speaker 12: Yes.
- 10:09Speaker 5: And it's like 68 degrees all the time. She'll come
- 10:13Speaker 5: into the place, set it at 68 and then leave
- 10:16Speaker 5: right after. I'm like, what's the point of doing that?
- 10:17Speaker 5: You're not even going to be here for it. And
- 10:19Speaker 5: so we're going back and forth. Like each roommate is
- 10:22Speaker 5: like switching the AC and it's causing.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Our bill to go up.
- 10:26Speaker 5: The first three weeks we live there, our electricity bill
- 10:28Speaker 5: was $ 500.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Now, this has also been very hot. So it's going
- 10:32Speaker 2: to cost more too, right?
- 10:34Speaker 3: Right.
- 10:34Speaker 5: But even when it's like 70 degrees at night, it's
- 10:37Speaker 5: still 68.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Like there's no reason to have the AC on.
- 10:40Speaker 2: So have you said to roommate one, hey, let's come
- 10:44Speaker 2: up with a compromise in terms of temperature. Otherwise, it's
- 10:48Speaker 2: so extreme.
- 10:50Speaker 4: Right.
- 10:50Speaker 2: And you're pushing the bill up.
- 10:52Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 10:52Speaker 1: I sent a text.
- 10:53Speaker 5: I was like, can we please not play AC Wars?
- 10:55Speaker 5: Like it got me sick because it was freezing inside
- 10:58Speaker 5: and she never responded to it.
- 10:59Speaker 2: Well, don't you live with her? Can't you speak to her?
- 11:02Speaker 1: She doesn't speak to me. She won't even look in
- 11:04Speaker 1: my direction. Oh, my goodness.
- 11:07Speaker 2: I avoid her at all costs. You have picked the
- 11:08Speaker 2: best roommates. Last roommate saying is cease and desist.
- 11:12Speaker 5: Yeah, it's the same one.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Well, I'm not surprised. Our advice was get out. I'm trying.
- 11:21Speaker 2: I think you don't push the entire. Here's my take
- 11:23Speaker 2: on something like this. If you can't solve this problem,
- 11:26Speaker 2: wait until you have to be out in the real world. And,
- 11:30Speaker 2: you know, you're married and your husband wants one neighborhood.
- 11:33Speaker 2: You want the other. You can't decide. Like, what do
- 11:36Speaker 2: you do then?
- 11:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 11:37Speaker 2: To move into. Does anybody take long, hot showers?
- 11:42Speaker 12: No.
- 11:43Speaker 2: No. Because you could also use that as precedent.
- 11:45Speaker 1: Yeah, they're in there for 30, 40 minutes. Just the
- 11:47Speaker 1: water running.
- 11:49Speaker 2: I think you got to come up with a fair attempt. Now, also,
- 11:51Speaker 2: maybe they don't pay full freight on the extra because
- 11:55Speaker 2: the heat was so hot. But my advice to you
- 11:57Speaker 2: is you have a roommate crisis in general. No matter
- 12:00Speaker 2: what happens, this person's going to keep creating problems for you.
- 12:03Speaker 2: Now that you're single, does that change things? Not necessarily.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Can you move out and get a new roommate?
- 12:11Speaker 5: I've been looking for a new roommate, but my option
- 12:14Speaker 5: right now is just to move into my sorority house.
- 12:16Speaker 2: There you go. That's exciting. That seems fun. Good luck.
- 12:20Speaker 2: This roommate is trouble. There's nothing we can do to
- 12:22Speaker 2: solve that problem. It's going to be problem after problem. Ready, Michaela?
- 12:25Speaker 2: These are opening lines. Michaela's getting on hinge. Let's see
- 12:30Speaker 2: if we like any of these and if she should
- 12:32Speaker 2: go out with any of the dudes. She's back on hinge.
- 12:35Speaker 2: And these are, and guys, if you're on hinge, what
- 12:38Speaker 2: do you think about these opening lines and using them?
- 12:41Speaker 2: You can lift them. Here we go. What do you got, Michaela?
- 12:43Speaker 2: Who's hitting on you saying what on hinge right now?
- 12:46Speaker 6: Okay, the first guy said, some people say big smile,
- 12:49Speaker 6: big dreams. You have a big smile, so do you
- 12:51Speaker 6: also have big dreams?
- 12:52Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 12:54Speaker 2: Maybe premeditate. It's not terrible.
- 12:56Speaker 1: Yeah, that one's giving me copy-paste. Like, he just sends
- 12:58Speaker 1: that one to everybody.
- 12:59Speaker 2: Yeah, it sounds a little template. I don't want to
- 13:02Speaker 2: rule him out. What's another one?
- 13:04Speaker 6: The next guy said, I don't like how we're still strangers.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Now, his photo, he's smoking a cigarette with a mug
- 13:10Speaker 2: of beer.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Yeah, that's why we're still strangers. Yeah, that's a no
- 13:13Speaker 1: from him. That's a no.
- 13:16Speaker 2: The guy's taking a drag with the.
- 13:19Speaker 4: But someone might like a guy taking a drag.
- 13:21Speaker 1: It's not Michaela.
- 13:23Speaker 2: We're talking about Michaela, Tanya.
- 13:25Speaker 4: I'm just saying.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Michaela, he's out. That's easy. All right, what's another pick-up
- 13:29Speaker 2: line on him?
- 13:30Speaker 6: This one's going to be out too, but he said,
- 13:31Speaker 6: I have a feeling we'd have really good conversations and
- 13:34Speaker 6: really bad decisions together.
- 13:36Speaker 2: Why is that? I would use that.
- 13:39Speaker 1: It's his photo. It's just his arm. Like, what are
- 13:42Speaker 1: you doing?
- 13:42Speaker 2: I would do that too.
- 13:44Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 13:44Speaker 12: Yeah.
- 13:45Speaker 2: But he's wearing a tank. Yeah. All right, and he's
- 13:48Speaker 2: playing pool. I'm not good at billiards. All right, give
- 13:52Speaker 2: me one more, and then let's hone this in.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Okay, like this.
- 13:55Speaker 6: He said, I have a feeling my mom would really
- 13:57Speaker 6: like you.
- 13:59Speaker 1: Wow, that's a genius line. Ryan's not into it.
- 14:03Speaker 2: No, I'm writing it down. I mean, he's cute.
- 14:07Speaker 7: I'm not loving that he's wearing sunglasses because you can't
- 14:09Speaker 7: really see his eyes, but everything else looks decent.
- 14:12Speaker 2: So simple. I mean, he's saying a lot in that
- 14:15Speaker 2: one sentence.
- 14:15Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 14:16Speaker 2: Clever, cute, some comedy. I'm tight with my mom. I mean,
- 14:22Speaker 2: it's all good.
- 14:22Speaker 1: That's the guy.
- 14:23Speaker 2: She's a winner. Number four. And you know what? You
- 14:25Speaker 2: can see in a reflection of his glasses who took
- 14:27Speaker 2: the picture.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Oh, his mom.
- 14:29Speaker 2: His mom with a purse. There's your guy right there.
- 14:34Speaker 2: So she's going to be off the market soon. Now,
- 14:37Speaker 2: Ryan's Roses is next. It's time for Ryan's Roses. Here
- 14:41Speaker 2: we go. 102.7 Kiss FM. Sarah writing in saying, I
- 14:45Speaker 2: got a Facebook message from some random guy that simply
- 14:48Speaker 2: said it's happening again. When I clicked on his profile,
- 14:52Speaker 2: it looks like he's married to one of my husband's coworkers.
- 14:55Speaker 2: What's happening? And what does he mean by again? All right, Sarah,
- 15:00Speaker 2: how did you address this?
- 15:03Speaker 13: I mean, I just.
- 15:06Speaker 12: Sat there with it. I really didn't know what to do,
- 15:09Speaker 12: and I don't know what it means, and I haven't
- 15:11Speaker 12: done anything yet.
- 15:12Speaker 13: And so I kind of just want to know, and
- 15:14Speaker 13: that's why I want you guys to figure it out
- 15:16Speaker 13: with me.
- 15:16Speaker 2: So if we find out that this is bad, you're
- 15:19Speaker 2: going to tell your co-worker that her husband's doing this?
- 15:25Speaker 8: I mean, I.
- 15:28Speaker 2: Don't know what.
- 15:29Speaker 10: This is.
- 15:31Speaker 13: This guy, Paul, I don't know who he is, but
- 15:37Speaker 13: I guess that this person, Callie, is a woman that
- 15:42Speaker 13: my husband works with.
- 15:44Speaker 2: Oh, your husband?
- 15:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:47Speaker 12: My husband works with Callie, this woman.
- 15:50Speaker 13: I've met her a few times over the years, so
- 15:52Speaker 13: I know who she is. So this guy, Paul, is like,
- 15:58Speaker 13: it's happening again.
- 16:00Speaker 1: What's happening again?
- 16:01Speaker 2: I don't understand this at all. Someone explain. I'm totally lost.
- 16:06Speaker 7: Is he implying that he thinks that they were having
- 16:09Speaker 7: an affair?
- 16:10Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 16:12Speaker 7: The random guy who Facebook messaged her saying it's happening
- 16:16Speaker 7: again is the husband of said person that it's happening
- 16:21Speaker 7: again with your husband.
- 16:22Speaker 12: And I recognized his wife on Facebook. So I know like, she's, she's,
- 16:28Speaker 12: her name is Callie.
- 16:29Speaker 13: I only know one Callie. Like I've met her a
- 16:31Speaker 13: few times, like her name is unique. So I've just
- 16:34Speaker 13: remembered it, but I like, I don't know her, but.
- 16:37Speaker 2: I like, are you saying that you think your husband
- 16:43Speaker 2: is having an affair with somebody named Callie? Is that right?
- 16:46Speaker 13: Yes, and her husband.
- 16:47Speaker 12: Texted me to try to, like, give me some kind
- 16:50Speaker 12: of heads up, I guess.
- 16:51Speaker 8: Right.
- 16:52Speaker 12: But I was like, do I know you? And when
- 16:54Speaker 12: I messaged back, and then nothing.
- 16:57Speaker 1: But it's happening again, which means he knew about it.
- 17:00Speaker 2: All right, hold on one second. Can you quickly explain
- 17:02Speaker 2: this to me so I know what we're doing next?
- 17:04Speaker 1: The husband, so Kat.
- 17:08Speaker 7: Sarah's husband is having an affair with Callie or so
- 17:10Speaker 7: we think. Callie's husband is the person that messaged Sarah
- 17:14Speaker 7: telling her it's happening again.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Which means.
- 17:17Speaker 2: So Callie's guilty and Sarah's husband guilty of an affair
- 17:19Speaker 2: together possibly.
- 17:20Speaker 4: Right.
- 17:21Speaker 2: And the husband's giving Sarah the heads up.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Callie's husband.
- 17:27Speaker 2: I hope you listening can follow this because it's.
- 17:31Speaker 4: It is a doozy.
- 17:33Speaker 2: Next kiss. All right. It's time for the call here
- 17:35Speaker 2: on Ryan's Roses. Let me do my best. So explain
- 17:39Speaker 2: what's about to happen here. So Sarah thinks her husband's
- 17:42Speaker 2: cheating because some random guy who's married to somebody named
- 17:47Speaker 2: Callie reached out and said, hey, your husband's what?
- 17:52Speaker 1: It's happening again with your husband and my wife.
- 17:55Speaker 2: On Facebook message. So basically, Sarah's married to her husband.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Callie's married to random guy. Random guy reaches out to
- 18:04Speaker 2: Sarah and says, I think our spouses are having an affair.
- 18:07Speaker 2: Is that right?
- 18:08Speaker 12: Yes.
- 18:10Speaker 2: Why is this such a brain suck so early in
- 18:12Speaker 2: the morning? I can't take all this. It's not so straightforward.
- 18:15Speaker 2: So Sarah, I explained it to Sissany. So she now
- 18:17Speaker 2: understands it.
- 18:18Speaker 1: I explained it to you.
- 18:21Speaker 2: I need you to say, Ryan, you have my permission
- 18:23Speaker 2: to call. Who are we calling? Yeah.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Calling your husband. Sarah's husband.
- 18:29Speaker 8: Fine.
- 18:30Speaker 2: My permission to call.
- 18:32Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 18:32Speaker 1: That's not changing.
- 18:33Speaker 12: Yeah. Ryan, you have my permission to call my husband.
- 18:39Speaker 2: And we're going to try and find out if he's
- 18:41Speaker 2: having an affair with random guy's wife.
- 18:44Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 18:46Speaker 2: Right. Got it.
- 18:47Speaker 12: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
- 19:00Speaker 3: Hello.
- 19:01Speaker 8: Hi.
- 19:02Speaker 1: Can I speak to Chris, please?
- 19:03Speaker 2: Speaking.
- 19:05Speaker 12: Hi, Chris.
- 19:05Speaker 1: My name is Norma. I'm calling from Beach Blooms. How
- 19:07Speaker 1: are you doing this morning?
- 19:10Speaker 2: Pretty good.
- 19:10Speaker 3: I'm driving off to work so I can be better.
- 19:14Speaker 1: I can make this quick.
- 19:15Speaker 7: We're actually new to the area on Second Street and
- 19:18Speaker 7: we deliver here locally in Long Beach and surrounding areas.
- 19:21Speaker 7: But the reason I'm calling is because it's a free
- 19:23Speaker 7: promotion of a dozen red roses that you can send
- 19:25Speaker 7: to anybody that you'd like.
- 19:29Speaker 12: I mean, is this for real? Is this spam?
- 19:32Speaker 1: No, so this is actually really cool.
- 19:34Speaker 7: We do this about once a month, and it's not
- 19:36Speaker 7: a subscription or anything like that. I don't need cash
- 19:39Speaker 7: from you. I don't need credit card info. Just the
- 19:41Speaker 7: name of the person you'd want to send free roses to,
- 19:43Speaker 7: and we can.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Have them out by lunchtime.
- 19:45Speaker 2: So it's just my lucky day, huh?
- 19:47Speaker 1: Exactly. Congratulations.
- 19:49Speaker 5: Well.
- 19:50Speaker 3: It's about damn time I won something.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Okay, cool. So who do you want to send these
- 19:54Speaker 1: flowers to? What's their name?
- 19:56Speaker 3: Oh, you know, my wife would love to get a
- 19:58Speaker 3: dozen roses. That'd make her night. Her name is Sarah.
- 20:02Speaker 1: Wonderful. And what do you want to put on the
- 20:04Speaker 1: card for Sarah?
- 20:07Speaker 3: A little poem. Let's go with roses are red. The
- 20:12Speaker 3: stems are green. You're the finest damn woman I've ever seen.
- 20:16Speaker 1: Wow. A little twist on that poem. I like it.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Really cute.
- 20:23Speaker 7: Is there anybody else you'd want to send flowers to?
- 20:25Speaker 12: Not that I could think of.
- 20:31Speaker 1: Nobody else top of mind?
- 20:33Speaker 2: Just your wife?
- 20:34Speaker 12: Just my wife.
- 20:36Speaker 3: You love someone else I should be sending flowers to?
- 20:38Speaker 1: You love your wife?
- 20:40Speaker 2: Of course I do. I love it.
- 20:41Speaker 12: Yeah. Kind of questions about that.
- 20:43Speaker 2: Everybody says I jump in too early recently.
- 20:46Speaker 12: All right.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Hello, Chris. Your voice is being broadcast on the radio.
- 20:51Speaker 2: I've got your wife, Sarah, on the line. Oh, this
- 20:56Speaker 2: call just got really weird.
- 20:58Speaker 3: Am I not? She's not getting flowers?
- 20:59Speaker 12: No.
- 21:01Speaker 2: No, and what she is getting is a message on
- 21:05Speaker 2: Facebook from the husband of a woman named Callie indicating
- 21:10Speaker 2: that you're having an affair with a woman named Callie.
- 21:14Speaker 2: What can you tell us about that? Why would she
- 21:15Speaker 2: be getting this message? And the message is it's happening again.
- 21:18Speaker 12: Okay, so is.
- 21:25Speaker 3: My wife on the phone?
- 21:26Speaker 12: Yes. Can I talk to my wife? I'm right here. No,
- 21:29Speaker 12: I'm right here.
- 21:31Speaker 9: Wow, Sarah, what are you doing?
- 21:34Speaker 3: We should get off the.
- 21:35Speaker 12: Phone for this conversation. I just need to know what's
- 21:36Speaker 12: going on. No, I need to know what's going on.
- 21:40Speaker 12: Her husband reached out to me. He said it's happening again.
- 21:42Speaker 12: What does that mean? What does that mean? I'm not
- 21:47Speaker 12: really comfortable. What does that mean?
- 21:50Speaker 13: Are you having an affair?
- 21:52Speaker 1: It's time to come clean.
- 21:53Speaker 2: No, no. Okay, look.
- 21:58Speaker 3: Callie has been pursuing me for quite a while, and
- 22:04Speaker 3: she's been very.
- 22:09Speaker 3: About her intentions, but nothing's happened. I would never do that, Sarah.
- 22:13Speaker 12: Why wouldn't you just tell me that? Why wouldn't you
- 22:16Speaker 12: tell Roger? Why wouldn't you tell Donna? Why wouldn't you
- 22:19Speaker 12: escalate this or whatever?
- 22:22Speaker 3: Sarah, what am I supposed to do? March down to HR?
- 22:28Speaker 3: Make some huge accusation against a woman that I work with?
- 22:32Speaker 3: I just thought I could handle this without it turning
- 22:34Speaker 3: into any kind of a big deal.
- 22:37Speaker 12: But you never thought I should know?
- 22:40Speaker 3: I didn't think there was anything to tell, okay? She'd
- 22:44Speaker 3: find reasons to be alone with me, and she would
- 22:46Speaker 3: make comments. And I made it very clear to her
- 22:50Speaker 3: that I was a married man, and it was not interesting.
- 22:52Speaker 12: You just mentioned me saying, it's happening again. What does
- 22:55Speaker 12: that mean, again? What does that mean, again?
- 22:59Speaker 3: Okay, oh, okay, so in 2023, I think it was,
- 23:04Speaker 3: Callie told Paul that she and I were having an affair.
- 23:08Speaker 12: What?
- 23:10Speaker 2: No, but it wasn't true. Yeah? Look, I don't know
- 23:14Speaker 2: if that woman has got issues. Why would she bring
- 23:17Speaker 2: that up to Paul, the random guy, the husband?
- 23:21Speaker 3: Look, I don't know what's going on inside that woman's head,
- 23:24Speaker 3: and I'm not.
- 23:25Speaker 2: Trying to figure it out.
- 23:26Speaker 3: I don't know why she told him that. I think
- 23:28Speaker 3: maybe she's having problems. within our own relationship.
- 23:31Speaker 2: Why don't I know about it?
- 23:33Speaker 13: If she's been going after him this long, why wouldn't
- 23:35Speaker 13: I have known about it?
- 23:36Speaker 2: Why don't you tell her?
- 23:37Speaker 1: You tell your wife.
- 23:39Speaker 3: Because you and I, Sarah.
- 23:42Speaker 2: Our marriage is awesome.
- 23:43Speaker 10: We're great.
- 23:43Speaker 3: I didn't want to disrupt that with this. Aside from
- 23:48Speaker 3: this little hiccup right now, you.
- 23:49Speaker 2: Think I'm cheating?
- 23:50Speaker 3: I'm not.
- 23:50Speaker 2: Why would Callie make this up out of thin air?
- 23:53Speaker 2: And why would her husband say this is happening again?
- 23:56Speaker 2: And why wouldn't you be forthcoming? See, You see, you
- 23:59Speaker 2: should be transparent with your wife that this was this
- 24:02Speaker 2: crazy scheme that was happening so that something like this
- 24:07Speaker 2: doesn't happen, which seems very curious. You follow?
- 24:13Speaker 4: Yeah, maybe.
- 24:14Speaker 3: But the bottom line, look, I agree. Maybe I could
- 24:17Speaker 3: have handled this a little differently, but I'm not cheating.
- 24:22Speaker 3: I'm not cheating. Hell no, I've never cheated on you, Sarah.
- 24:25Speaker 12: Ever, ever.
- 24:26Speaker 2: I love you.
- 24:26Speaker 12: Like, this is.
- 24:28Speaker 12: I don't know why you wouldn't tell me. I don't
- 24:30Speaker 12: know why you wouldn't tell me any of this stuff.
- 24:32Speaker 13: I don't know why this guy is texting me and
- 24:34Speaker 13: saying happening again.
- 24:35Speaker 12: Like everything, this is all, I don't even know.
- 24:38Speaker 3: I didn't want you to get upset because this is
- 24:42Speaker 3: such a minor nuisance at work and I didn't want
- 24:45Speaker 3: to bring it home to our marriage.
- 24:47Speaker 12: That's it.
- 24:48Speaker 3: Now hindsight, should I have told you?
- 24:51Speaker 12: Okay.
- 24:52Speaker 4: Yeah, maybe.
- 24:53Speaker 2: I don't, maybe.
- 24:54Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 24:54Speaker 12: Maybe, maybe. Okay. Well, I didn't want you to get upset.
- 25:00Speaker 3: You know, I don't want you like company get togethers
- 25:04Speaker 3: and whatnot. I don't want you to like giving this
- 25:06Speaker 3: woman the stink eye or causing, you know, I just,
- 25:08Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 25:11Speaker 1: Oh gosh, it's all bad.
- 25:14Speaker 2: Look guys, we're going to let you get off the air. Chris,
- 25:17Speaker 2: there's a cover up here. There's some sort of cover up.
- 25:19Speaker 2: I don't know why, but it feels like there's a
- 25:22Speaker 2: cover up here. Sarah, you now know all the people
- 25:24Speaker 2: here involved. I think you might want to go to
- 25:26Speaker 2: some other sources here to find out if the stories align.
- 25:30Speaker 2: Thank you for reaching out. What do you think?
- 25:36Speaker 3: I believe him.
- 25:36Speaker 1: You believe him?
- 25:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:38Speaker 2: Oh, my gosh. On Air with Ryan Seacrest. Seacrest, Sissany, Tanya, Launching.
- 25:48Speaker 2: You know, interesting conversation that we're going to talk about here,
- 25:50Speaker 2: and that is when you share your location, people that
- 25:55Speaker 2: you share with, they know where you are. So if
- 25:59Speaker 2: they know you're doing something, why do they bother you
- 26:02Speaker 2: while you're doing something? More importantly, if you have my
- 26:09Speaker 2: location and you see where I am on the MAP,
- 26:14Speaker 2: why do you call me and ask me, where are you?
- 26:19Speaker 1: Who has your location? Yeah, who?
- 26:22Speaker 2: Three people.
- 26:23Speaker 12: Who?
- 26:23Speaker 2: Two of which you've met. One I'm keeping from you.
- 26:27Speaker 5: Wait.
- 26:27Speaker 2: The big reveal.
- 26:28Speaker 1: The fact that you share in general.
- 26:29Speaker 4: The other two are probably his mom and his sister.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Yeah, his mom and Meredith.
- 26:33Speaker 2: And the other is not a secret.
- 26:35Speaker 1: Wait, I'm surprised. Belinda doesn't have your location?
- 26:37Speaker 2: No, I don't let my office have my location.
- 26:39Speaker 12: She should.
- 26:39Speaker 1: Yeah, she should. It'd probably make life easier.
- 26:41Speaker 2: Definitely you shouldn't.
- 26:43Speaker 7: I should have your location. It'd be so nice to
- 26:45Speaker 7: know when we're going to the Mr. Bones that you're
- 26:47Speaker 7: going to be like, oh, he's pulling up or whatever.
- 26:48Speaker 8: Totally.
- 26:49Speaker 1: These are the things where it comes in handy.
- 26:51Speaker 2: You don't need my location. I run on time. If
- 26:53Speaker 2: I'm going to be at Bones at 5, I arrive
- 26:55Speaker 2: at 5. Tanya got there at 5.15.
- 26:57Speaker 1: I was told I had a window.
- 27:01Speaker 4: I had a window.
- 27:02Speaker 2: Now, Bella, you're annoyed by this, too. Our intern, this
- 27:04Speaker 2: does not... different generations. Our intern, Bella, also a node.
- 27:09Speaker 2: What happened to you with your sister?
- 27:10Speaker 5: My sister calls me every time I'm in class and
- 27:13Speaker 5: I have to text her. I'm like, do you not
- 27:15Speaker 5: check my location before you call me? Because my phone
- 27:17Speaker 5: is just buzzing in class and I was in the
- 27:19Speaker 5: library one time and my computer was going off and
- 27:21Speaker 5: it was so embarrassing because it was so silent.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Yeah, this is not, when you have the privilege of
- 27:29Speaker 2: shared location from one, this is not permission to disturb
- 27:34Speaker 2: one at any point in time.
- 27:36Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 27:37Speaker 3: I can't.
- 27:39Speaker 4: See past the one person that has your location that
- 27:42Speaker 4: we don't know. That's all I see now.
- 27:44Speaker 2: I know that's all you want to know. That was
- 27:45Speaker 2: a big tease just for Tanya. The question is, at
- 27:48Speaker 2: what point will I reveal the third person that has
- 27:52Speaker 2: said shared location? And then what will your reaction be?
- 27:56Speaker 2: Or do I not want to do that in case
- 27:58Speaker 2: you become best friends with this person behind my back
- 28:01Speaker 2: like you've done everybody else in my life? Oh, so
- 28:03Speaker 2: sorry that.
- 28:03Speaker 1: We've liked all of your ex-girlfriends.
- 28:06Speaker 2: Excuse me, liked? Tanya went to lunch with an ex-girlfriend
- 28:09Speaker 2: the other day and did not tell me until after.
- 28:12Speaker 2: That is more than liked.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Could it be her that has your location? That's a
- 28:18Speaker 1: great question.
- 28:19Speaker 8: No.
- 28:21Speaker 1: And do you have her location as well?
- 28:23Speaker 2: No.
- 28:24Speaker 8: Oh, good one.
- 28:25Speaker 2: I don't have my ex-girlfriend's locations. That for sure would
- 28:27Speaker 2: be torture. Oh, you have.
- 28:30Speaker 1: Current girlfriend's locations.
- 28:32Speaker 2: No, I just said I have a third person, not
- 28:34Speaker 2: a Seacrest. Let's take a break. Ronnie, would you please
- 28:36Speaker 2: step in and manage? I am also curious, too.
- 28:40Speaker 4: I'm just like, hopefully one of them can get it
- 28:42Speaker 4: out of you.
- 28:43Speaker 2: All right, coming up next, KISS FM, we're paying a
- 28:45Speaker 2: bill in the 626. Happy to be with you on
- 28:48Speaker 2: this Thursday morning. We're two out from Halloween. We fall
- 28:50Speaker 2: back this weekend, an extra hour of Halloween night, so
- 28:54Speaker 2: it's brilliant.
- 28:55Speaker 7: Yeah, but the rain is not the vibe for this Halloween.
- 28:59Speaker 2: Although rain and Halloween does go, rain and fog and
- 29:03Speaker 2: Halloween does go hand in hand and bats.
- 29:05Speaker 7: I just like, no. If you want to be like
- 29:08Speaker 7: out on a nice night, not with rain.
- 29:10Speaker 2: You know what I've learned in life?
- 29:13Speaker 5: Oh?
- 29:14Speaker 2: Don't worry about things you can't control. And don't worry
- 29:17Speaker 2: about things that are two days out because a lot
- 29:19Speaker 2: can happen. between now and then in those two days
- 29:22Speaker 2: in everybody's life. So you need to put your energy
- 29:25Speaker 2: on stuff that you can actually handle and control, like
- 29:27Speaker 2: your speed, driving through these new speed camera traps. Let's
- 29:31Speaker 2: be honest.
- 29:32Speaker 7: How many of us drive the exact speed limit when
- 29:35Speaker 7: it comes to driving?
- 29:36Speaker 2: Man, you know what's hard to do?
- 29:38Speaker 12: What?
- 29:38Speaker 2: Drive the exact speed limit. limit when the cops are
- 29:41Speaker 2: next to you. I know. Or when they're in front
- 29:44Speaker 2: of you. Now, they're going under. And I asked this
- 29:46Speaker 2: to LAPD and the sheriffs. You're going under speed limit
- 29:52Speaker 2: and you're in front of us. Can we pass you?
- 29:54Speaker 1: Yes, as long as you're still going.
- 29:55Speaker 2: Now, when I pass you, do you mind when I wave?
- 29:59Speaker 2: Because I will wave. I wave when I pass the cops.
- 30:01Speaker 1: I do not wave. I think they like that.
- 30:02Speaker 2: Oh, I love it. I put the window down. Sometimes
- 30:04Speaker 2: I put the window down to thank them or just
- 30:06Speaker 2: say hi, and they think I'm in need of something.
- 30:11Speaker 1: Maybe a stoplight, but not like on the freeway.
- 30:14Speaker 2: No, I can't do that on the freeway.
- 30:15Speaker 1: Okay, well, that's what I'm picturing.
- 30:16Speaker 2: I'm too nervous on the freeway.
- 30:17Speaker 1: See, that's what I'm saying.
- 30:18Speaker 2: I got 10 and 2 on the steering wheel. Yeah, exactly.
- 30:20Speaker 2: No gin and juice, just 10 and 2.
- 30:22Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Oh, sure.
- 30:26Speaker 2: I feel like waving at you looks suspicious.
- 30:29Speaker 1: I think so, too. Like, hey.
- 30:30Speaker 2: Johnny, look at me.
- 30:31Speaker 1: Everything good over here.
- 30:32Speaker 2: What's suspicious about this? No, yeah. There you look nice,
- 30:35Speaker 2: but why are you waving at the police? Because it
- 30:37Speaker 2: does look weird.
- 30:39Speaker 7: I don't engage.
- 30:39Speaker 11: All right.
- 30:40Speaker 2: Just quickly, just recap these cameras. Where are they? What's
- 30:43Speaker 2: the grace period on the speeding?
- 30:45Speaker 7: So a few of them started rolling out this week,
- 30:48Speaker 7: about 20 or so.
- 30:49Speaker 2: What's different about these?
- 30:51Speaker 7: What's different is that they're actually live now. We've been
- 30:54Speaker 7: talking about these for months. Like, oh, they're coming, they're coming,
- 30:56Speaker 7: they're coming. But now this week, they officially have launched.
- 31:00Speaker 7: And then 125 across the city eventually by the end
- 31:02Speaker 7: of the year.
- 31:03Speaker 1: Streets all over L.A. From San Fernando Valley to Hollywood,
- 31:06Speaker 1: South L.A., beyond.
- 31:07Speaker 7: And then remember, these cameras will catch drivers going 11
- 31:10Speaker 7: miles per hour or more over the speed limit. And
- 31:13Speaker 7: sometimes I have to look down and realize that, oh
- 31:15Speaker 7: my gosh, I was speeding. Like, I didn't realize it.
- 31:17Speaker 2: So you can roll through at 10? 10 over?
- 31:19Speaker 1: I guess 10 over is fine.
- 31:21Speaker 7: And then there is that grace period that you were
- 31:23Speaker 7: talking about, 60-day warning period.
- 31:24Speaker 1: They actually start handing out tickets after that.
- 31:26Speaker 7: It'll be like $ 50 to anywhere as high as $ 500.
- 31:29Speaker 7: I'm assuming that'll depend on how high you were going
- 31:33Speaker 7: over the speed limit. That'll be based on how much
- 31:35Speaker 7: they charge you.
- 31:36Speaker 2: Now, what happens if you are rolling at 11 over,
- 31:39Speaker 2: you spot it, then you hit the brakes fast, you
- 31:41Speaker 2: are at 7, do they average the miles per hour
- 31:43Speaker 2: out there?
- 31:44Speaker 1: I don't think so.
- 31:44Speaker 7: I think it just comes down to when you're passing
- 31:46Speaker 7: that said camera, if it catches you over.
- 31:50Speaker 1: the 11 miles, boom picture. You're done.
- 31:52Speaker 2: 60 day grace period. Keep that in mind. Tickets to
- 31:55Speaker 2: our sold out jingle ball next to kiss Aaron in
- 31:57Speaker 2: studio city.
- 31:58Speaker 4: Good morning.
- 31:59Speaker 2: Hey, good morning. So let's go. Your boyfriend of how long?
- 32:05Speaker 10: Uh, about a year.
- 32:06Speaker 2: What do you do to you at the last minute
- 32:08Speaker 2: here about Halloween?
- 32:10Speaker 10: Well, he, you know, I assumed that we would go
- 32:12Speaker 10: to a party together for Halloween. But yesterday he told
- 32:16Speaker 10: me that his buddies are renting a party bus to
- 32:21Speaker 10: hit up a bunch of Halloween bars in West Hollywood.
- 32:24Speaker 11: And he just wants to go with the guys.
- 32:28Speaker 2: So what was your reaction to that?
- 32:31Speaker 11: Well, I guess I got suspicious because he said it
- 32:34Speaker 11: just came up, but I feel like he's been avoiding
- 32:36Speaker 11: telling me.
- 32:37Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 32:39Speaker 11: And, like, most of his friends are single, and he
- 32:40Speaker 11: says that they just want one night to go out
- 32:43Speaker 11: and have fun. And he says, like, oh, it's not
- 32:46Speaker 11: about you. Like, you should make plans with your own friends.
- 32:50Speaker 2: So let me give you some relationship advice here on
- 32:52Speaker 2: how to handle something like this, okay? You need to
- 32:55Speaker 2: be very clear to make this not about you feeling
- 33:00Speaker 2: excluded and taking it personally. This is my advice. I
- 33:03Speaker 2: would not make it feel personal. Like, oh, I want
- 33:06Speaker 2: to go or I feel excluded. I think you make
- 33:08Speaker 2: it clear. hey, that's fine that you want to go
- 33:11Speaker 2: out with your guys. That you should do. The problem
- 33:15Speaker 2: I have is not exclusion. It's notice time. It's about notice.
- 33:20Speaker 2: There's a time in which notice is appropriate ahead of time.
- 33:24Speaker 2: So it doesn't feel like some secrecy or sprung upon you.
- 33:27Speaker 2: Cause I, what I don't like in any scenario, and
- 33:30Speaker 2: I only say this cause I've been through all this
- 33:31Speaker 2: stuff before. What I don't like in any scenario is
- 33:35Speaker 2: you feeling like they were waiting to tell you in
- 33:39Speaker 2: secrecy so that it was last minute. That's so I
- 33:43Speaker 2: would focus on, appropriate time of notice for things in
- 33:46Speaker 2: your relationship.
- 33:47Speaker 11: Right because like i don't i don't love the idea
- 33:49Speaker 11: of him just like bar hopping with a bunch of
- 33:51Speaker 11: single guys of his friends wondering like what he's doing.
- 33:55Speaker 2: Yeah because that becomes a trust issue if you don't
- 33:58Speaker 2: trust him we have a different set of conversations here.
- 34:00Speaker 7: Why can't you just be upset that you are not
- 34:02Speaker 7: spending halloween with your boyfriend of one.
- 34:04Speaker 4: Year literally like you get so excited for your first
- 34:06Speaker 4: like Couples costume and now he's just running off with
- 34:09Speaker 4: his bros.
- 34:10Speaker 2: Those two are getting lost in the weeds. You're getting
- 34:13Speaker 2: lost in the weeds.
- 34:14Speaker 1: No, there's no weeds.
- 34:15Speaker 2: I'm talking about roots in a relationship. You guys are weeds. Nah.
- 34:20Speaker 7: If Michael pulled this our first year of dating, we
- 34:22Speaker 7: wouldn't be together right now.
- 34:23Speaker 3: Literally.
- 34:24Speaker 2: Then that would have been sliding doors. See the movie.
- 34:28Speaker 11: I know.
- 34:28Speaker 1: I still haven't seen that movie.
- 34:30Speaker 8: Me too.
- 34:30Speaker 2: You got to see that.
- 34:32Speaker 1: I know.
- 34:33Speaker 2: It's early days, GP. Going to the Paltrow.
- 34:36Speaker 1: I'll watch it during the holidays.
- 34:37Speaker 2: Erin, to me, I'm just going to tell you at
- 34:40Speaker 2: 40,000 feet, you can weed dive with those two, but
- 34:42Speaker 2: 40,000 feet, it's not about personal exclusion, jealousy, trust, if
- 34:47Speaker 2: you trust him. It's about notice. No, it's about boundaries.
- 34:50Speaker 2: I don't know. You guys are lost.
- 34:52Speaker 4: And being together.
- 34:53Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 34:53Speaker 1: We're the married ones here. I can take our advice.
- 34:56Speaker 2: Exactly. You can let the guard down.
- 34:59Speaker 8: All right, Erin.
- 34:59Speaker 2: Happy Halloween and good luck.
- 35:01Speaker 11: Oh, thanks.
- 35:03Speaker 2: I'm just saying, just don't make me an afterthought. That's
- 35:05Speaker 2: all I'm saying. Don't make me an afterthought. This is
- 35:08Speaker 2: going to tell you what's new this morning.
- 35:11Speaker 10: On air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 35:14Speaker 2: Jingle ball. Tickets coming up in a few.
- 35:17Speaker 12: Tanya.
- 35:18Speaker 2: The question is what? This is a trending report and
- 35:22Speaker 2: a question that comes with it.
- 35:24Speaker 1: Yeah, another one.
- 35:25Speaker 4: Could you ever date? Could you ever date your ex's
- 35:28Speaker 4: new partner's ex?
- 35:30Speaker 2: Okay, I need to jot it down. My ex's new partner...
- 35:34Speaker 2: So my ex... I need to play this out. Okay.
- 35:41Speaker 4: So you and Sisney were married and you broke up.
- 35:45Speaker 2: Adorable.
- 35:46Speaker 12: Then? So.
- 35:49Speaker 4: Sisney was married to Ronnie. They divorced, and now.
- 35:52Speaker 8: This.
- 35:54Speaker 2: Isn't going to work out for you. Now I'm with Ronnie?
- 35:59Speaker 4: No, now who was married to Ronnie? I was married
- 36:03Speaker 4: to Ronnie. So now Ryan, me, and you are married,
- 36:05Speaker 4: and now Sisney and Ronnie are married.
- 36:09Speaker 8: No.
- 36:10Speaker 4: Yeah, it's the craziest story. So do you remember Amy
- 36:13Speaker 4: Roback and TJ Holmes? They were the former... GMA3 co-hosts
- 36:17Speaker 4: who got caught in the workplace romance back in 2020.
- 36:20Speaker 1: Now they're both off the air.
- 36:22Speaker 10: Podcasters.
- 36:23Speaker 4: Yes, yes. But they got pulled off the air, and
- 36:27Speaker 4: by early 2023, they were out of ABC for good.
- 36:30Speaker 4: They recently got married, but now... each of their exes
- 36:34Speaker 4: got engaged to each other.
- 36:36Speaker 2: This story is.
- 36:37Speaker 7: Like, I do remember the exes getting together.
- 36:40Speaker 2: But this makes more sense in this scenario because they
- 36:43Speaker 2: probably commiserated about what happened first and decided that they
- 36:48Speaker 2: had compatibility and relatability to the situation and then fell
- 36:53Speaker 2: for each other after.
- 36:54Speaker 4: So that's exactly what happened. So the two of them
- 36:56Speaker 4: became friends while going through their divorces. They basically like
- 36:59Speaker 4: leaned on each other and then it turned into something more.
- 37:02Speaker 4: They could have stayed bitter, but instead they found each other.
- 37:05Speaker 4: And now they're all saying that everybody gets their happy ending.
- 37:07Speaker 4: It's just a bit of a swap.
- 37:09Speaker 2: I mean, to go through some of that to get there,
- 37:11Speaker 2: if it all ends up peaceful, great. But you wonder
- 37:14Speaker 2: how much vulnerability played in that second part of this
- 37:19Speaker 2: whole thing. Because when you set up our scenario, it
- 37:21Speaker 2: wasn't quite as tragic at the beginning. So, you know,
- 37:24Speaker 2: when you have.
- 37:27Speaker 2: No one to turn to to talk about what happened
- 37:29Speaker 2: behind your back, except for the other person. You're vulnerable
- 37:32Speaker 2: with that person. You confide in that person. That does
- 37:34Speaker 2: create a closeness that you might fall for.
- 37:37Speaker 4: And it also just goes to show you, I feel
- 37:39Speaker 4: like in the moment when we were hearing all this,
- 37:41Speaker 4: it was just such a scandal, and it was like
- 37:42Speaker 4: you couldn't believe it, and you felt bad for everybody.
- 37:44Speaker 4: But now, in the end, everybody's happy and together, and
- 37:47Speaker 4: it all works out.
- 37:48Speaker 2: This is why you shouldn't worry about the rain we're
- 37:51Speaker 2: calling for in two days. It may work out, Sissany,
- 37:53Speaker 2: for Halloween.
- 37:54Speaker 3: It might.
- 37:55Speaker 1: It's just not my vision that I had for the night.
- 37:57Speaker 2: That's it for us. 102.7 KISS FM. Tomorrow, back with
