- 0:02Speaker 1: To teas in a pod which Teddy Mellencamp and Camra Judge. Hi, guys,
- 0:16Speaker 1: welcome back to another episode of The twat Sea. Today
- 0:19Speaker 1: we have Tiffany Moon, a mother, a wife, entrepreneur, and
- 0:23Speaker 1: a pseudiologist, a TV personality, and we are going to
- 0:27Speaker 1: get into everything with her, including her new book. Well hello, hello, hi, Hi,
- 0:35Speaker 1: I am tired. I will you look amazing? So I
- 0:41Speaker 1: just want to really get into it with you. What
- 0:43Speaker 1: is new? Tell me everything?
- 0:46Speaker 2: Mostly right now? Where knee deep in book launch mode?
- 0:50Speaker 1: Yes, I saw that.
- 0:52Speaker 2: Yeah, so Joy Prescriptions May sixth. It's a memoir. It
- 0:56Speaker 2: took me almost two and a half years to write,
- 0:59Speaker 2: so really a labor of love. It's basically a memoir
- 1:04Speaker 2: with like a self help message and there's a chapter
- 1:07Speaker 2: about real housewives in there because people always want the
- 1:09Speaker 2: tea on that of course.
- 1:12Speaker 1: So do you miss the show? Do you miss it?
- 1:15Speaker 1: Or you're like, girl, No, no much drama.
- 1:19Speaker 2: It's too much drama, which I should have known before
- 1:21Speaker 2: I started, but I was really naive, and I really
- 1:24Speaker 2: thought that it was going to be fun and I
- 1:26Speaker 2: was going to make all these new girlfriends and it
- 1:28Speaker 2: just wasn't.
- 1:29Speaker 1: That Usually isn't. I'm not usually, isn't.
- 1:34Speaker 2: I look at some of the ladies on the other
- 1:36Speaker 2: franchises though, like Yours and Beverly Hills and Miami, and
- 1:40Speaker 2: I just I always think to myself, like, if I
- 1:43Speaker 2: could have been on a different franchise, like things could
- 1:45Speaker 2: have turned out differently. I just didn't really gel with
- 1:48Speaker 2: the Dallas ladies.
- 1:49Speaker 1: It all depends on the cast, for sure, right absolutely. Now,
- 1:53Speaker 1: who out of the ladies do you still talk to?
- 1:56Speaker 2: Just Deandra? Really?
- 1:58Speaker 1: Oh? Really? So no one else.
- 2:00Speaker 2: I never really got close to anyone else.
- 2:02Speaker 1: So you did you know them prior to filming? Oh
- 2:05Speaker 1: so it's not like you guys were like these great
- 2:08Speaker 1: friends that you're like, no kind of falling out with
- 2:10Speaker 1: or something.
- 2:11Speaker 2: No, Like I was literally like thrown in there as
- 2:14Speaker 2: the single newbie and you know, like think or swim
- 2:18Speaker 2: kind of situation.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Yeah. So, your book, Joy Prescription is coming out May six.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Now you talk about how you learned to not be
- 2:28Speaker 1: a perfectionist and live your life. How do you do that?
- 2:33Speaker 1: I need advice.
- 2:35Speaker 2: I think when you grow up with the mentality that
- 2:38Speaker 2: like you have to get straight a's and everything has
- 2:40Speaker 2: to be perfect, it just doesn't leave very room much
- 2:44Speaker 2: room for like exploration or creativity. Right, Like, if you
- 2:48Speaker 2: have a fixed mindset and you think, oh, I can't
- 2:50Speaker 2: learn new skills or I don't want to embarrass myself,
- 2:53Speaker 2: then you will never put yourself out there, even in
- 2:56Speaker 2: terms of like starting a business or being on social media.
- 3:00Speaker 2: Like I had to give up this pretense of trying
- 3:02Speaker 2: to be perfect or else I would have never done
- 3:04Speaker 2: those things.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Now you're a big presence on TikTok, Like I love
- 3:08Speaker 1: watching your tiktoks.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Yeah, it's funny. I just started that in twenty twenty
- 3:14Speaker 2: because of the pandemic and I was bored, Like I
- 3:16Speaker 2: never thought that it would surmount to anything.
- 3:20Speaker 1: Well it does now. Now. Do you feel like becoming
- 3:23Speaker 1: a mom has changed your perspective on life?
- 3:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I think becoming a mother taught me a lot
- 3:30Speaker 2: about patience and a lot about, you know, letting things go,
- 3:34Speaker 2: like learning to pick your battles and not harp on
- 3:37Speaker 2: every single little thing, and to sort of like, you know,
- 3:40Speaker 2: enjoy the moments for what they are instead of trying
- 3:43Speaker 2: to make them picture perfect. Yeah.
- 3:46Speaker 1: I feel like you're a little bit of an overachiever.
- 3:48Speaker 1: I really do. You are right? Yeah, all the things.
- 3:52Speaker 1: You can't sit down, can you?
- 3:54Speaker 2: I can't. It's just it's not in my nature.
- 3:57Speaker 1: You're quite the entrepreneur, so are you. I try, I
- 4:01Speaker 1: really do, and I listen to you talk and I thought, God,
- 4:04Speaker 1: there's so much more that I could do, because you
- 4:06Speaker 1: know you do. I don't think you're like this, but
- 4:09Speaker 1: you get to a point where you're like, yeah, this
- 4:11Speaker 1: business is doing well. Yes I have a podcast, and
- 4:14Speaker 1: you're like, I'm comfortable. But I think you're the one
- 4:15Speaker 1: that's like, what's next? What can I take next?
- 4:18Speaker 2: I think when you're comfortable, then you're generally not growing right,
- 4:21Speaker 2: You're stressing the system. And so every time I get comfortable,
- 4:26Speaker 2: you know, I became a doctor. That was very difficult residency.
- 4:28Speaker 2: I'm learning so much, But then after doing it for
- 4:31Speaker 2: like seven eight years, you pretty much have a handle
- 4:33Speaker 2: on things, you know, and I'm like, Okay, I need
- 4:35Speaker 2: something else to like stimulate me, something else to learn,
- 4:39Speaker 2: something else to be challenged by, because I just I
- 4:42Speaker 2: feel like if you're acclimated to what you're doing, you're
- 4:44Speaker 2: not learning anything new.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Yeah I'm not sure that you covered this, but what
- 4:48Speaker 1: do you think somebody can do? Just start living their
- 4:50Speaker 1: more authentic self.
- 4:52Speaker 2: I think people need to stop carrying so much what
- 4:55Speaker 2: other people think. I think our society cares way too much.
- 4:58Speaker 2: I think social media is large lead to blame for that,
- 5:01Speaker 2: because everyone has their you know, best face forward on
- 5:03Speaker 2: their feed, so when you're looking, it seems like everyone's
- 5:07Speaker 2: living this great, fabulous life, when in fact they're not,
- 5:10Speaker 2: or perhaps not, but they're just putting out the best
- 5:12Speaker 2: parts of it for you to see.
- 5:15Speaker 1: So I think I always say it's like your filtered life.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Yes, I always say it's like their greatest hits, you know,
- 5:20Speaker 2: and you can't compare your every day to somebody else's
- 5:22Speaker 2: greatest hits. So I think people need to stop the
- 5:26Speaker 2: cycle of like compare and despair, always looking at somebody
- 5:29Speaker 2: else and feeling like you're not good enough, or someone
- 5:31Speaker 2: else's business is farther along than you like. It's just
- 5:34Speaker 2: it's a zero sum game to constantly compare yourself to
- 5:37Speaker 2: other people because somebody's always going to be doing better,
- 5:39Speaker 2: And I just don't think that should be what motivates
- 5:41Speaker 2: you to move forward, you know.
- 5:43Speaker 1: I agree with that. Now, what are your thoughts on
- 5:46Speaker 1: social media? Just the hate and the stuff that goes on.
- 5:51Speaker 2: So you're fighting behind this screen name that has like
- 5:54Speaker 2: a picture of a dog or like a Bible verse
- 5:57Speaker 2: and just out there.
- 6:00Speaker 1: That's so funny that you say that it's always an
- 6:02Speaker 1: animal and a Bible verse. Yes, And I'm like, oh,
- 6:05Speaker 1: and I love my grandchildren right right.
- 6:08Speaker 2: And they're like, you need to go back to China.
- 6:10Speaker 2: And I'm like, oh my god. Like it's just people
- 6:13Speaker 2: take social media way too seriously, like it's not meant
- 6:17Speaker 2: to be your actual life. It's just supposed to kind of,
- 6:19Speaker 2: you know, be something that we truck, you know. But
- 6:21Speaker 2: people like live and die on social media and I'm like,
- 6:24Speaker 2: you need to go outside and touch some grass, or
- 6:26Speaker 2: like you need to be in the real world and
- 6:29Speaker 2: get off of Twitter because this is not good for
- 6:31Speaker 2: your mental health. But when you ask about the haters
- 6:34Speaker 2: and stuff, when I first became like well known, right
- 6:37Speaker 2: when you know, Real Housewives of Dallas was showing, and
- 6:40Speaker 2: by then I had a couple hundred thousand social media followers,
- 6:43Speaker 2: I used to take those really mean comments to heart,
- 6:46Speaker 2: Like I would cry because someone called me ugly or
- 6:51Speaker 2: said my voice was so annoying, Like why do you
- 6:53Speaker 2: talk like that? Do you think you're a Kardashian, and
- 6:55Speaker 2: I'm like, I don't know why I talk like this, Okay,
- 6:58Speaker 2: Like this is just how I learn English and this
- 7:00Speaker 2: is how I sound.
- 7:01Speaker 1: I don't. I don't see that comparison to the Kardashian. Yeah,
- 7:05Speaker 1: I feel like they draw fry.
- 7:08Speaker 2: Yeah it's well, I don't know, Like I don't.
- 7:10Speaker 1: I don't.
- 7:11Speaker 2: You're not like that, I hope not. I mean, I
- 7:14Speaker 2: speak professionally on stages, like people pay me to give
- 7:17Speaker 2: keynotes and stuff, so I hope that my voice isn't
- 7:20Speaker 2: that annoying. But I just I think those people always
- 7:24Speaker 2: have something to pick on, you know, because they're such
- 7:27Speaker 2: miserable human beings that they actually, you know, get pleasure
- 7:33Speaker 2: from trying to bring you down, Like, oh, how dare
- 7:36Speaker 2: you be a smart, successful woman who's confident and knows
- 7:41Speaker 2: her value, knows her place in this world? Like how
- 7:44Speaker 2: dare she be so content and happy? I'm going to
- 7:48Speaker 2: say something to try to knock her down a notch,
- 7:50Speaker 2: And I just think that's a terrible, terrible way to live.
- 7:54Speaker 2: So now, you know, a lot of times, now that
- 7:56Speaker 2: I have a social media manager, I don't even see
- 7:58Speaker 2: a lot of those comments because I think she to
- 8:00Speaker 2: them before me and blocks people, but I gave her
- 8:03Speaker 2: free range. I was like, look, if someone comes on
- 8:06Speaker 2: my page like social media, my page is my house.
- 8:09Speaker 2: If you want to come in and misbehave, you will
- 8:12Speaker 2: get kicked out. You will get picked immediately. And like
- 8:15Speaker 2: I don't want to hear anything about it, you know
- 8:16Speaker 2: what I mean? Like, this is my space. You come
- 8:18Speaker 2: into my space, act in a fool, I'll kick you out.
- 8:22Speaker 3: Yeah, as you should.
- 8:35Speaker 1: I learned that you were asked to join the Real
- 8:37Speaker 1: Housewives of Dallas in season four and you declined yeah,
- 8:40Speaker 1: and then what changed your mind to accept season five?
- 8:44Speaker 2: I don't know. It's kind of like a guy that
- 8:46Speaker 2: keeps asking you out and you're kind of like, I
- 8:47Speaker 2: don't know, and then he asked you out the third
- 8:49Speaker 2: time and you're like, fine, buy me dinner or whatever.
- 8:52Speaker 1: You know.
- 8:53Speaker 2: I didn't even when I was trying out for season five.
- 8:56Speaker 2: First we had a zoom interview, then they flew me
- 8:58Speaker 2: out to LA. I didn't actually think I was going
- 9:01Speaker 2: to get picked, honestly, because I'm not like super glam.
- 9:07Speaker 2: I was working full time as an academic anesthesiologist with
- 9:10Speaker 2: twin toddlers, and I kept saying during my interviews, like,
- 9:14Speaker 2: thank you for this opportunity, but I'm not sure I
- 9:16Speaker 2: can commit to doing the show, like it's kind of
- 9:18Speaker 2: a lot. I don't know.
- 9:21Speaker 1: I always thought about, like even Nicole on Miami, Yeah, yeah,
- 9:25Speaker 1: she was, she's an anesthesiologist, And I'm like, you guys
- 9:28Speaker 1: work like these long shifts, and like, how do you
- 9:31Speaker 1: find it would be hard to film a show like Housewives?
- 9:36Speaker 1: Is it so demanding and actually have a job where
- 9:39Speaker 1: you go and spend hours at a time.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Yeah, No, it was rough. I was working full time
- 9:45Speaker 2: while filming, and so for dinner parties, I told production,
- 9:50Speaker 2: I was like, I have a heart out at ten
- 9:52Speaker 2: pm because I generally wake up at like five thirty
- 9:55Speaker 2: six and I have to be in the hospital by
- 9:58Speaker 2: like six forty five.
- 9:59Speaker 1: Now you're a response well for keeping people alive.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Right, And so I told production, I was like, I
- 10:03Speaker 2: have a two drink maximum and a ten pm cut
- 10:07Speaker 2: off on weekdays where I have to go to work
- 10:09Speaker 2: the next morning. And production was cool with it. They
- 10:12Speaker 2: were like very respectful of it, while my castmates were not,
- 10:16Speaker 2: and they were like egging me to drink more, calling
- 10:19Speaker 2: me boring, making.
- 10:21Speaker 1: Any of them have jobs. No girl, No, Well, I
- 10:26Speaker 1: know Carrie is a works with her husband. But the
- 10:29Speaker 1: other girl is like, do they any of them?
- 10:31Speaker 2: Harry was not working? Oh Carrie Duber, Carry Duber wasn't
- 10:35Speaker 2: on my season.
- 10:36Speaker 1: She oh, she wasn't.
- 10:38Speaker 2: And after so Carrie Duber and I never filmed together.
- 10:41Speaker 1: I think she would understand because I know that she works.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Yeah, but even I mean, she's an injector for her
- 10:46Speaker 2: husband's plastic surgery practice, do you know what I mean.
- 10:49Speaker 2: I'm not downplaying that. I think she probably does great work,
- 10:52Speaker 2: but like if she can't take patients or has to
- 10:55Speaker 2: move them to past eleven am or something, it's fine.
- 10:59Speaker 2: Like I have to be in the operating room at
- 11:01Speaker 2: like six forty five, and I'm putting it's a sleep
- 11:04Speaker 2: like being.
- 11:05Speaker 1: It's a very demanding career.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Yeah. Sure, I can't dial it in and be like, oh,
- 11:09Speaker 2: I was out late last night, like you know what
- 11:11Speaker 2: I mean. Like, I also knew that my work was
- 11:15Speaker 2: not entirely supportive of my being on the show, and
- 11:19Speaker 2: so I was under a microscope at work, so that
- 11:22Speaker 2: if I came in late or wasn't on my A game,
- 11:25Speaker 2: they'd be like, oh, it's cause she's filming for Housewives,
- 11:27Speaker 2: you know what I mean. Like I knew that they
- 11:28Speaker 2: were watching me very closely, so I was like sure
- 11:32Speaker 2: to you know, go there early, like never take a
- 11:35Speaker 2: long lunch break, like on my best behavior, because I
- 11:38Speaker 2: knew they were looking for me to make a mistake
- 11:41Speaker 2: so they could be like, oh, this is why we
- 11:42Speaker 2: didn't want you to do the show. You know that
- 11:44Speaker 2: kind of thing.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Well, I could you imagine like if you were like
- 11:46Speaker 1: drunk and sloppy and messy and all the things I
- 11:49Speaker 1: am on the show, and then you go the next
- 11:51Speaker 1: morning and you're like, Hi, I'm Tiffany, I am you're anesthesiologist,
- 11:55Speaker 1: and they're like, no, uh uh this thing, this girl,
- 11:58Speaker 1: I'm putting me to sleep right right. It would have
- 12:00Speaker 1: had your career.
- 12:01Speaker 2: No, I told them, I told production, and I told
- 12:04Speaker 2: my work my hospital job will be my number one priority.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Filming will not get in the way of it. And
- 12:10Speaker 2: all the ladies like made fun of me because I
- 12:12Speaker 2: had this alarm that would go off on my phone
- 12:14Speaker 2: at like nine thirty so that production could call an
- 12:16Speaker 2: uber for me to get back home and they'd be like, oh,
- 12:19Speaker 2: her alarm's going off again. Tiffy's alarms going off again.
- 12:22Speaker 2: So the ladies like made so much fun of me.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Were you ever able to explain this? Like I have
- 12:27Speaker 1: like tell them, like I have a job.
- 12:29Speaker 2: I mean, it shouldn't be that hard to explain.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Well, yeah, I agree, it's.
- 12:33Speaker 2: It's not a complicated concept.
- 12:35Speaker 1: So do you do you think that you would do
- 12:37Speaker 1: another reality show or you're like no.
- 12:39Speaker 2: You know, if you had asked me, like right after
- 12:42Speaker 2: Dallas got put on hiatus, I was like, hell no,
- 12:45Speaker 2: I don't want anything to do with it. It's so toxic.
- 12:47Speaker 2: But it's been like four years, and I think a
- 12:49Speaker 2: lot in my life has changed, so now I think
- 12:52Speaker 2: I'm like warming up to it again. Maybe, like if
- 12:55Speaker 2: they were to reboot Dallas, especially if there were like
- 12:59Speaker 2: almost all new people and I didn't have to film
- 13:01Speaker 2: with the old people that I didn't get along with,
- 13:05Speaker 2: or if there was another show that wasn't Housewives. Somebody
- 13:11Speaker 2: told me that I should go on Traders.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Oh I was going to ask you about that. I mean,
- 13:15Speaker 1: the only thing about that that's like a month long commitment.
- 13:17Speaker 1: So you would I know, you you have kids and
- 13:21Speaker 1: you have a full time job, Like could you get
- 13:23Speaker 1: away for a month.
- 13:25Speaker 2: If I knew ahead of time, I could like smack orientation. Yeah. Yeah,
- 13:29Speaker 2: it's like the planning, you know, like our vacation schedules
- 13:33Speaker 2: are scheduled out six months in advance, so I would
- 13:35Speaker 2: need to know like, okay, these three weeks, like I
- 13:37Speaker 2: really need off because they film in Scotland, right, Yes,
- 13:41Speaker 2: did you have fun?
- 13:42Speaker 1: No? Oh, now it's a long story. I got really sick.
- 13:46Speaker 1: As soon as I arrived. I got COVID so bad,
- 13:50Speaker 1: like I thought I was going to be on a respirator.
- 13:52Speaker 2: But then once you felt better and you actually started
- 13:54Speaker 2: doing the game show, like was it fun.
- 13:57Speaker 1: Yeah. By the time I started to feel well, they
- 14:00Speaker 1: put me on some really strong antibiotics. And I have
- 14:03Speaker 1: intestinal issues. I've had surgery, and I started getting really
- 14:08Speaker 1: bad pains in between my rib cage, and that's the
- 14:11Speaker 1: pains I had from other intestinal problems, so I knew
- 14:13Speaker 1: something was going on. I got Thank god, I actually
- 14:17Speaker 1: got murdered as soon as I started to feel like
- 14:19Speaker 1: the COVID stuff go away. And then by the time
- 14:21Speaker 1: I got home, I was in the hospital. I got Yeah.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Yeah, so you didn't have like the full experience, really.
- 14:27Speaker 1: No, I didn't. I did not have the full experience
- 14:30Speaker 1: like I had. So I was at the hospitalized because
- 14:33Speaker 1: the antibiotics they gave me over so strong that they
- 14:35Speaker 1: put inflammation in my intestines and it was just horrible.
- 14:39Speaker 1: So I had that whole thing down my nose. Yes,
- 14:43Speaker 1: it's so funny. They told me. They're like, I'm so
- 14:45Speaker 1: sorry I have to do this. This is horrible. I
- 14:47Speaker 1: hate doing this to people. I just sat there and
- 14:49Speaker 1: they did it, and they're like, what, I've never seen
- 14:52Speaker 1: this happen before, Like people gag, people.
- 14:54Speaker 2: Are gagging, jagging, pull it out. Yeah, And I was just.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Like, I'm a freak. I'm a freak. What if your
- 15:14Speaker 1: your kid said, hey, mom, I want to be on
- 15:16Speaker 1: a reality show, would you say.
- 15:18Speaker 2: I mean, it depends on which show. I think reality
- 15:21Speaker 2: TV is not all bad, you know. I think there's
- 15:24Speaker 2: a lot of good things. Certainly. I'm grateful to have
- 15:26Speaker 2: been given the opportunity, you know, as a super big
- 15:29Speaker 2: dork doctor, to have become a real housewife like I.
- 15:33Speaker 2: It's been a really great experience for me. I just
- 15:38Speaker 2: I just wish like it didn't have to get so toxic, because,
- 15:41Speaker 2: you know, one of my castmates and her family because
- 15:44Speaker 2: like you know, the husbands get involved, and the brother
- 15:46Speaker 2: in law got involved. I was like, Jesus, it's husband's
- 15:50Speaker 2: It's so icky when like that is it? Yeah's sock.
- 15:53Speaker 2: My husband does not get involved, girl mine does not either.
- 15:56Speaker 2: He would like do his little husbandly parts that he
- 15:58Speaker 2: had to do his scenes, and then he's like I'm
- 16:00Speaker 2: out of here, you know, right. So one of my castmates,
- 16:03Speaker 2: her husband and his brother got involved and like tried
- 16:06Speaker 2: to come after my job at the university that I've
- 16:10Speaker 2: worked at for like over a decade, like tried to
- 16:12Speaker 2: get me fired from the hospital. And I was like,
- 16:14Speaker 2: are you fucking kidding me? Like it's a reality TV show,
- 16:18Speaker 2: Like we were fighting over chicken feet. It's like the
- 16:20Speaker 2: stupidest shit ever. But like for you to actually come
- 16:23Speaker 2: after my job, my career, like everything I've ever worked
- 16:26Speaker 2: hard for. But I guess I don't expect them to understand,
- 16:29Speaker 2: you know. That's what put like a really bad taste
- 16:33Speaker 2: in my mouth at the end of the show, because
- 16:34Speaker 2: I thought that we would just have like little girl
- 16:37Speaker 2: fights and then like make up at that.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Well, that's the way it should be. It should be
- 16:41Speaker 1: kind complex resolution. But when they start doing things like
- 16:43Speaker 1: that where they you know, contact like either your sponsors
- 16:46Speaker 1: or your business or you know, try to get you fired.
- 16:50Speaker 1: That's where those people should be fired. I don't care
- 16:53Speaker 1: who you are on a cat, you know, on the cast,
- 16:55Speaker 1: if you're popular, if you're a whatever, if you're doing
- 16:58Speaker 1: things like that off camera, you should be gone.
- 17:01Speaker 2: Yeah. So then you know, I had to get lawyers involved,
- 17:04Speaker 2: you know, because they're coming after my job.
- 17:08Speaker 1: I feel you girl.
- 17:09Speaker 2: Yeah. Then Bravo got involved and Bravo actually posted a
- 17:12Speaker 2: statement like backing me up.
- 17:15Speaker 1: So I felt like that that was good that they did.
- 17:16Speaker 1: That was good, Yeah, because I feel like if they
- 17:20Speaker 1: start getting rid of people that do stuff like that,
- 17:23Speaker 1: then it's going to put a big statement out there,
- 17:25Speaker 1: but they're not going to put up with it, right Yeah. Yeah, Well,
- 17:30Speaker 1: if they brought Dallas back tomorrow, would you sign on?
- 17:33Speaker 2: It depends on who else cast is gone. Don't you
- 17:36Speaker 2: think like if it was a women who you know,
- 17:40Speaker 2: worked and had businesses and knew what it was like
- 17:43Speaker 2: to function in the world, versus you know, being like,
- 17:46Speaker 2: you know, bragging that they have never paid a bill
- 17:48Speaker 2: in their lives. Like, I just can't get along with
- 17:50Speaker 2: women like that. As much as I've done and everything
- 17:53Speaker 2: that I promote about uplifting and empowering women, Like I
- 17:57Speaker 2: just it's not nineteen sixty, you know. Can we Dallas
- 18:00Speaker 2: so diverse? Surely they can find a group of diverse
- 18:05Speaker 2: women to actually be on the show. I don't know.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Well, I do believe that that was Dallas's problem. It's
- 18:11Speaker 1: all in the casting. Yeah, so if the casting doesn't mesh,
- 18:14Speaker 1: then that's just it shows. Yeah, And I was shocked
- 18:17Speaker 1: that they just completely do you have you heard anything
- 18:21Speaker 1: about it ever coming back?
- 18:22Speaker 3: Is there? Oh?
- 18:23Speaker 2: Once in a while, I'll get post, I'll get tagged
- 18:25Speaker 2: on a post or something that there's like a rumor
- 18:27Speaker 2: that it's coming back, And I'm like, that's news to me.
- 18:30Speaker 2: Ain't nobody called me? I have no idea. But I'm
- 18:32Speaker 2: also not over here holding my breath for it, you
- 18:34Speaker 2: know what I mean. I'm moving about my regularly scheduled programming.
- 18:40Speaker 2: But I think I think I would give it a try.
- 18:42Speaker 2: Like it's so funny, like four years ago it would
- 18:44Speaker 2: have been Hello. Then the year after that, like no,
- 18:47Speaker 2: I don't think so. And it's like as the time,
- 18:49Speaker 2: it's like childbirth, Oh my god, you like forgot how
- 18:52Speaker 2: terrible it was, Yes, the baby, and you're like, oh,
- 18:54Speaker 2: it's so cute, like maybe I could. It's like our brain,
- 18:58Speaker 2: uh like protects us.
- 19:00Speaker 1: It's a little bit of a drug kind of like
- 19:03Speaker 1: it's like you get a high from it and it's
- 19:05Speaker 1: exciting and then it's scary, and then you don't want
- 19:09Speaker 1: to do it anymore, and then you do want to
- 19:11Speaker 1: do it. It's crazy, it really is.
- 19:13Speaker 2: It is. And I will say the time when I
- 19:15Speaker 2: was on Housewives, not filming, but when it was airing
- 19:17Speaker 2: on TV, I was so self centered. I was like
- 19:21Speaker 2: checking what people were saying in the comments and all this,
- 19:23Speaker 2: and it like makes you be so self centered, whereas
- 19:27Speaker 2: normally I'm not out there like looking to see what
- 19:29Speaker 2: people in the world are saying about that.
- 19:31Speaker 1: But you need and I think all newbies need to
- 19:34Speaker 1: understand this, and this is something and social media wasn't
- 19:37Speaker 1: huge when I started seventeen years ago, so I mean
- 19:42Speaker 1: we had MySpace. Is that the newbies tend to get
- 19:48Speaker 1: consumed with what's on social media and then they start
- 19:53Speaker 1: self producing themselves or start talking back to the negative people,
- 19:57Speaker 1: trying to change their mind and getting up obessed with
- 20:00Speaker 1: that than talking to bloggers trying to get them to
- 20:03Speaker 1: do stories like positive stories and all that stuff, and
- 20:06Speaker 1: none of that stuff pans out. It does, like just you,
- 20:09Speaker 1: but it's a learning process. Nobody, nobody in normal life
- 20:13Speaker 1: deals with this until suddenly you're on a reality show
- 20:16Speaker 1: and you're like, holy shit, I'm getting attacked. I'm getting this,
- 20:18Speaker 1: I'm getting that, Like what do I do? And you
- 20:20Speaker 1: try to, you know, protect yourself, and it it doesn't
- 20:23Speaker 1: work out. So you have to learn to just it
- 20:27Speaker 1: is what it is. And people are gonna say what
- 20:28Speaker 1: they're gonna say. Does it hurt? Yeah, it hurts, but
- 20:32Speaker 1: you can also think of it like who are they?
- 20:35Speaker 1: Like what kind of person does this? When was the
- 20:37Speaker 1: last Yeah, yeah that was the last time I got
- 20:39Speaker 1: on their car dashings you know, Instagram and started calling
- 20:44Speaker 1: them names, and you should do this, like who does that?
- 20:48Speaker 2: Really awful? People who need a job? Help, yeah, help help, Yeah,
- 20:54Speaker 2: they need to find some joy in their lives.
- 20:56Speaker 1: Yeah, so you were on below deck. I just found
- 20:59Speaker 1: this out. Yeah.
- 21:01Speaker 2: The below deck thing was just like not even I
- 21:04Speaker 2: don't know, like I didn't go on the yacht to
- 21:08Speaker 2: go on below deck, Like I wanted to experience what
- 21:11Speaker 2: it was like to you know, be on a yacht
- 21:13Speaker 2: for several days. And I generally don't ever do cruises
- 21:16Speaker 2: because I get really sea sick, so I was hesitant
- 21:19Speaker 2: about going on the yacht. But it was in our
- 21:22Speaker 2: one filmed in Abiza, which I was told is pronounced ibitha.
- 21:27Speaker 1: And I was like, well, that's weird. I don't know
- 21:29Speaker 1: that either.
- 21:30Speaker 2: Yeah. I was like, oh, I've been saying it wrong
- 21:31Speaker 2: my whole life. And it was so much fun, but like,
- 21:34Speaker 2: I don't I was on TV for like maybe two
- 21:36Speaker 2: minutes out of that Below Deck episode. It's so weird.
- 21:38Speaker 2: They shortened it. Instead. We had a one night charter,
- 21:41Speaker 2: but it wasn't it was a two night charter. It
- 21:44Speaker 2: was like very odd what they did with post production.
- 21:46Speaker 2: But we weren't like a very rowdy bunch, like we
- 21:50Speaker 2: went to sleep at a normal time, like no when
- 21:53Speaker 2: you got drunk. Nobody was rude to the staff, and
- 21:56Speaker 2: so we were like a pretty boring charter I think
- 21:58Speaker 2: for a below Deck, which is probab probably why when
- 22:01Speaker 2: it aired they're like, oh, the next charter is only
- 22:04Speaker 2: here for one night. I was like, no, we were
- 22:06Speaker 2: there for two. There's probably so boring they didn't have.
- 22:09Speaker 1: But for a two night charter, you tipped twenty five
- 22:12Speaker 1: thousand dollars.
- 22:14Speaker 2: I'm a big tipper.
- 22:15Speaker 1: Okay, you made housewife history and below tack history. Were
- 22:21Speaker 1: you trying to put the other charter guests to shame?
- 22:23Speaker 1: Because that was a great tip for two nights.
- 22:25Speaker 2: I actually don't know what a normal tip is. I
- 22:29Speaker 2: had asked them, and they said, the normal amount of
- 22:32Speaker 2: this charter for like the three days, two nights for
- 22:35Speaker 2: six people would have been like one hundred ish thousand dollars, right,
- 22:40Speaker 2: but we only paid like half of that, right, because
- 22:43Speaker 2: you got a discounted rate because you're from a hollow
- 22:45Speaker 2: deck or whatever. And I, you know, even when I
- 22:49Speaker 2: get discounts, or I go to a restaurant and they
- 22:51Speaker 2: give me appetizers or a round of drinks or whatever,
- 22:53Speaker 2: I always tip on like the full price it would
- 22:56Speaker 2: have been. And I generally tipped twenty five percent, like
- 22:59Speaker 2: when I, you know, go get a facial massage, go
- 23:01Speaker 2: out to eat, like that's my standard rate. And so
- 23:04Speaker 2: I was like, if it's one hundred thousand dollars how
- 23:06Speaker 2: much it would have been, then I'll just tip twenty
- 23:08Speaker 2: five Like I didn't even think anything of it. And
- 23:12Speaker 2: then later when the show aired, which was like, oh
- 23:15Speaker 2: my god, we taped in We filmed in June of
- 23:18Speaker 2: twenty twenty three, and I think the show aired like
- 23:21Speaker 2: a year later. It was really long.
- 23:24Speaker 1: What were people's response to the tip? Were people making
- 23:26Speaker 1: a big deal about it.
- 23:27Speaker 2: Yeah, they were like, oh, this bitch only spent one
- 23:30Speaker 2: night on the yacht, but tip twenty five thousand. I
- 23:32Speaker 2: was like, first of all, it wasn't a one night,
- 23:34Speaker 2: it was a regular length charter, and I didn't think
- 23:37Speaker 2: that twenty five thousand dollars was a lot. Like I
- 23:39Speaker 2: literally just tipped twenty five percent of what the cost
- 23:42Speaker 2: of the trip would have been. And then everybody was like,
- 23:45Speaker 2: oh okay. So some people were like, oh, that's great.
- 23:47Speaker 2: She's so classy, like, you know, she respects service people
- 23:51Speaker 2: and yeah, always like very polite. One of our guests
- 23:53Speaker 2: was like a little bit rude to one of the
- 23:55Speaker 2: service people, but actually not at all, Like our group
- 23:57Speaker 2: was very well behaved. So some people were like, Oh,
- 24:00Speaker 2: she's such a classy queen, you know, big tip or whatever,
- 24:02Speaker 2: and then some people were like, oh, she's such a
- 24:04Speaker 2: show off.
- 24:05Speaker 1: And I'm like I was gonna have it. There, we
- 24:08Speaker 1: have it.
- 24:08Speaker 2: You can't wait. You know what I'm saying. You can't
- 24:10Speaker 2: make everybody happy like you tip too little. They call
- 24:13Speaker 2: you a cheap skate. Oh she must not be as
- 24:14Speaker 2: rich as she wants us to think she is. You
- 24:16Speaker 2: tip big? What you know? What I thought was actually
- 24:19Speaker 2: just normal. And then some people think you're great, and
- 24:21Speaker 2: some people think you're trying to show off, and I'm
- 24:23Speaker 2: just like, and this is what it's like.
- 24:26Speaker 1: Yeah, let's talk Burken since we're talking money. You have
- 24:31Speaker 1: quite the collection, right.
- 24:33Speaker 2: Yes, ma'am. I have. I've been collected like forty what Well, okay,
- 24:40Speaker 2: this is the thing. I got my first Burkin in
- 24:42Speaker 2: two thousand and eight, so like now it's super trendy,
- 24:46Speaker 2: like everyone wants one. There's so many fakes on the market.
- 24:49Speaker 2: I see fakes all the time, like in the street,
- 24:51Speaker 2: and I'm like, that's a fake. But I started in
- 24:54Speaker 2: two thousand and eight, right, so almost twenty years ago,
- 24:58Speaker 2: and I at first would get like two bags per year,
- 25:03Speaker 2: But now I go to Paris and I have my
- 25:06Speaker 2: home store, so I'm basically getting like four bags a year.
- 25:09Speaker 1: Oh my god, I won't be you now you did
- 25:12Speaker 1: you talked about fake and you stirred up quite the
- 25:15Speaker 1: social media when you you called out Marisol. You called
- 25:20Speaker 1: out Marisol for having a fake bag, and social media
- 25:24Speaker 1: went crazy.
- 25:25Speaker 2: If you're filming for Housewives, like, maybe that's not the
- 25:30Speaker 2: best time to bring out your fakes. You know. I'm
- 25:32Speaker 2: sure she has some real ones, like use those or
- 25:35Speaker 2: borrow one from a friend, but it's just I just
- 25:37Speaker 2: feel like.
- 25:38Speaker 1: It, or don't have one at all. Just don't have
- 25:40Speaker 1: one at all, That's what I say. Like, We've had
- 25:41Speaker 1: girls on our show that wear like total fake designer
- 25:45Speaker 1: clothes and I've called them out. I'm like, just don't
- 25:48Speaker 1: try to portray yourself as somebody, you know, because all
- 25:51Speaker 1: when you're wearing logos everywhere, you're just showing people to me,
- 25:56Speaker 1: it's like you're being flashy. Look at me. I have
- 25:58Speaker 1: money all these things. But when you're wearing fake ones,
- 26:01Speaker 1: that is that gives me the biggest eck. Yes, because
- 26:06Speaker 1: if you can't afford it, don't buy fake ones. It
- 26:08Speaker 1: doesn't make you look any better. But most people out
- 26:11Speaker 1: there would never know.
- 26:13Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I can. I can spot a fake.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Well, if you have the reil, you can spot a
- 26:18Speaker 1: fake that's for sure. Yeah, people don't care.
- 26:22Speaker 2: And it's just so sad, like no one cares, you
- 26:26Speaker 2: know what I mean. Like if you're hanging out with
- 26:28Speaker 2: people who are judging you by what handbag you carry,
- 26:31Speaker 2: like you need new friends, Like I truly love the
- 26:34Speaker 2: b Burkin as a timeless piece of craftsmanship, you know
- 26:37Speaker 2: what I mean. But I also like all open bags,
- 26:40Speaker 2: Like I like bags that are structured that when you
- 26:43Speaker 2: sit them on the floor, like they don't flop. So
- 26:45Speaker 2: I would never get like a go yard toad or
- 26:47Speaker 2: like an lvy never fold. Not because I don't like
- 26:50Speaker 2: those companies, but because I like my bag to sit
- 26:53Speaker 2: up straight when I set it down, and I don't
- 26:55Speaker 2: ever close it, like I like reaching in and getting stuff.
- 26:57Speaker 1: How many bags overall do you think you have?
- 27:00Speaker 2: Probably like a hundred? Nice.
- 27:04Speaker 1: Is there anybody else out there that we should know
- 27:07Speaker 1: that's carrying fake bags?
- 27:10Speaker 2: Oh? So many. There's so many influencers that carry fake bags.
- 27:16Speaker 2: No housewives that I know of, But there's this account
- 27:20Speaker 2: on Instagram called the Fake Birkenslayer, And yeah, it's so funny.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Somebody accused me of being the fake Birkenslayer and I
- 27:29Speaker 2: was like, I'm so flattered, but I don't have that
- 27:31Speaker 2: kind of time. And they basically post screenshots of people
- 27:35Speaker 2: on Instagram who are with fake bags. It's a lot
- 27:39Speaker 2: of influencers, you know, these influencers who like look a
- 27:44Speaker 2: certain way, and they have heard that. They rent out
- 27:47Speaker 2: this private jet that's grounded, but they take pictures inside
- 27:50Speaker 2: the private jet to make it look like they're flying somewhere.
- 27:53Speaker 1: Well, guys, stop doing that. You'll be better off if
- 27:58Speaker 1: you just stop now. Your book comes out May six
- 28:02Speaker 1: got in is there any place particular you want to
- 28:04Speaker 1: direct them to?
- 28:06Speaker 2: They can get it on Jason. They can also get
- 28:08Speaker 2: it on Joyprescriptions dot com. And because pre orders are
- 28:12Speaker 2: so important, we have over three hundred dollars worth of
- 28:15Speaker 2: bonuses that they get if they get the book before
- 28:18Speaker 2: May sixth.
- 28:19Speaker 1: Well, congratulations, I'm so happy for you. I'm glad that
- 28:23Speaker 1: I finally got to meet you virtually.
- 28:25Speaker 2: No, I'm going to come visit you one of these days.
- 28:28Speaker 1: Yes, absolutely, come on out. Love to meet you, go
- 28:31Speaker 1: to dinner, yes, bring all your bork in. So I'm
- 28:34Speaker 1: just kidding. Anyways, thank you so much and have a
- 28:39Speaker 1: great day. Thank you, Bye bye, Tiffany
