- 0:12Speaker 1: It's a live love Hello, welcome to the Naughty but
- 0:17Speaker 1: Nic Show. I'm your house Romp Shooter, and it is Tuesday,
- 0:20Speaker 1: which means our dear friend Delana Dixon, who's wearing your
- 0:22Speaker 1: very very dapper purple hat, is joining us. Hey, mister,
- 0:26Speaker 1: are you there?
- 0:27Speaker 2: I am. It's cold in New York City, so I
- 0:29Speaker 2: have on a little extra layer over my well.
- 0:33Speaker 1: You got your your beautiful girl wig on what what's
- 0:35Speaker 1: the name of that week this morning? She's cute.
- 0:38Speaker 2: Oh, her name is Nellie.
- 0:41Speaker 1: A little hat to on top. Oh, darling, you look fabulous. Okay,
- 0:44Speaker 1: we've got to jump in the show because there's just
- 0:46Speaker 1: so much today, so much breaking news, royal news, a
- 0:51Speaker 1: tragic story too. So what time is it? My friends?
- 0:54Speaker 2: It is time time.
- 0:56Speaker 1: So I'm gonna go a little bit off script here, Misty,
- 0:58Speaker 1: because overnight country singer Toby Keith passed away at sixty
- 1:03Speaker 1: two years old. He's been battling stomach cancer for a
- 1:07Speaker 1: long time now. So the singer died Monday night surrounded
- 1:10Speaker 1: by family. That's a good thing, surrounded by family, According
- 1:14Speaker 1: to an official statement they put out on social media,
- 1:18Speaker 1: I mean we knew about it, Misty. I'm trying to
- 1:20Speaker 1: get my head around this. He's been so honest. He
- 1:22Speaker 1: revealed his diagnosis in twenty twenty one. He talked about
- 1:27Speaker 1: chemo radiation surgery. So I think we knew this day
- 1:32Speaker 1: was coming, but it's still just so sad.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Yes, when I saw the news, what struck me so
- 1:39Speaker 2: much as his age. It's only sixty two years old,
- 1:43Speaker 2: which is just so young. It really is, like you said,
- 1:48Speaker 2: he's been telling us about what he's been going through.
- 1:51Speaker 2: We all knew this day would happen, but it's always
- 1:54Speaker 2: still so sad. So our heart goes out to us,
- 1:57Speaker 2: his fans, his family, his friends.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, he was surrounded by his family. Do you
- 2:03Speaker 1: know he has four grandchildren, three children, four grandchildren, his wife.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Oh this one. And I was not necessarily a fan
- 2:13Speaker 1: of his music. It was very patriotic songs. He'd sold
- 2:16Speaker 1: about forty million albums. Did you know Before his successful
- 2:21Speaker 1: music career took off in the nineties, he worked on
- 2:24Speaker 1: the oil fields in Oklahoma and then was a semi
- 2:27Speaker 1: pro American football player, A big, handsome, solid guy. And
- 2:32Speaker 1: that's another thing. You don't think people that look like
- 2:35Speaker 1: him are vulnerable, and we're all vulnerable. As we're finding
- 2:38Speaker 1: guy from now from King Charles. If King Charles, if
- 2:42Speaker 1: the King literally the King can get cancer, any of
- 2:45Speaker 1: us can rest in peace, rest in power. Toby Keith. Okay,
- 2:50Speaker 1: let's continue with the show with some more news. So
- 2:54Speaker 1: Prince Harry, we've just found out, is en route to London.
- 2:59Speaker 1: He's rushing to the UK Misty to be with his
- 3:02Speaker 1: his father, King Charles. He left Los Angeles last night.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Now he's believed to arrive mister in London today around noon.
- 3:11Speaker 1: It's a really long flight from LA to London. We
- 3:15Speaker 1: saw him in a range Rover being dropped off at
- 3:18Speaker 1: the VIP terminal at Lax. Of course Los Angeles has
- 3:22Speaker 1: a VIP terminal, but he was dropped off there. Meghan
- 3:25Speaker 1: was not with him, neither were the children, Archie or Lillabet.
- 3:29Speaker 1: So he's going by himself. I'm told he this is serious.
- 3:33Speaker 1: He wants to be there. He's been on the phone
- 3:35Speaker 1: with his dad. And if there's any silver lining to this,
- 3:37Speaker 1: and I'm not sure whre there is, fingers crossed, but
- 3:39Speaker 1: if there is, it's the possibility that they could make amends.
- 3:42Speaker 2: What do you think, It's like I've always said, family
- 3:45Speaker 2: is everything, and this is why I've been pushing that
- 3:47Speaker 2: they need to have some kind of resolution and conversation,
- 3:51Speaker 2: because you never know your father's of a certain age,
- 3:55Speaker 2: you never know what could happen. I'm so glad he's
- 3:58Speaker 2: going to his father's side, and I just want to
- 4:00Speaker 2: stop the Megan haters before they say something. To find
- 4:03Speaker 2: out this news and suddenly have to bring up two
- 4:05Speaker 2: small children and put them on a plane, it takes
- 4:08Speaker 2: more than twenty four hours, so she may not be
- 4:10Speaker 2: there now, but that doesn't mean she's not going. It
- 4:12Speaker 2: just takes time. Our granny is going to watch the
- 4:16Speaker 2: kids in America while she goes. Is she going to
- 4:18Speaker 2: bring them with her? That takes a good forty eight
- 4:21Speaker 2: hours to make that decision. So absolutely, give her a break. Everyone,
- 4:24Speaker 2: give her a break.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Give her a break, everybody. And it's not just the logistics,
- 4:28Speaker 1: it's the security in Britain. She needs security. She needs
- 4:31Speaker 1: to hear in America too. So my reporting yesterday was
- 4:34Speaker 1: that she was competemplating going. There was some discussions about going,
- 4:38Speaker 1: obviously there was the two of them discussed this and
- 4:41Speaker 1: in the end it was decided it just wasn't possible
- 4:44Speaker 1: and it would have delayed Harry. If Harry had waited
- 4:48Speaker 1: for all these logistics, he wouldn't have rushed over. But
- 4:50Speaker 1: I think you're so smart, Misty, because my inside is
- 4:52Speaker 1: my Megan and Harry inside, as are saying. If things
- 4:55Speaker 1: take a turn for the worst, let's hope they don't,
- 4:58Speaker 1: she'll jump on a plane, her mum will come over
- 5:00Speaker 1: and take the kids and she will go. But at
- 5:02Speaker 1: the minute, things are not dire. He's still working. If
- 5:07Speaker 1: he was really sick, he would be in the hospital.
- 5:09Speaker 1: He's not. He's at Clarence House. We saw the Princess
- 5:12Speaker 1: Eugenie visit him this morning with her husband, and so
- 5:16Speaker 1: we know he's at Clarence House. The family is rallying.
- 5:19Speaker 1: I'm told when Harry lands, he's going to be rushed
- 5:21Speaker 1: immediately to Clarence House to see his dad. I hope
- 5:24Speaker 1: William's there, I really do. And Kate. Kate's recovering too,
- 5:28Speaker 1: so I don't know if Kate can be part of
- 5:30Speaker 1: all this. It's so complicated. You know what, though, when
- 5:33Speaker 1: this family drama happens, this gives you all an opportunity,
- 5:37Speaker 1: a golden opportunity, to all realize just how much you
- 5:41Speaker 1: mean to one another. I was talking to my mommy
- 5:43Speaker 1: this morning and I'm going back to London tonight. Misty,
- 5:46Speaker 1: I'm flying into London tonight, so I'm heading to London tonight.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Don't worry Noughti's I'm going to try and do the show.
- 5:52Speaker 1: So Donnie and I are going to record a show
- 5:54Speaker 1: for tomorrow, so don't worry about that. And then on
- 5:56Speaker 1: Thursday and Friday, I'm going to do the Naughty but
- 5:59Speaker 1: Nice Show from London. I know it might be technically difficult,
- 6:03Speaker 1: and you know your friend Rubshooters not good with the
- 6:06Speaker 1: technical stuff, but I'm going to try and do it
- 6:08Speaker 1: from London. I'll have all the up to date royal
- 6:10Speaker 1: reporting over the next couple of days. But I do
- 6:14Speaker 1: think that this can give the whole nation, if not
- 6:18Speaker 1: the world, a moment to reflect on Charles. I spoke
- 6:21Speaker 1: to many of my British friends and they said, because
- 6:24Speaker 1: his mom was such a legend, she was the queen,
- 6:27Speaker 1: and she was the queen for so long, we sort
- 6:30Speaker 1: of never really gave Charles a chance or the same respect.
- 6:33Speaker 1: And when she passed away and Charles became the king,
- 6:35Speaker 1: we all rolled our eyes. I know, some of us,
- 6:38Speaker 1: you know he's a very nice man, but nobody had
- 6:40Speaker 1: those feelings towards him, not the same feelings that we
- 6:42Speaker 1: had towards his mummy. Now it's given us pause, mister,
- 6:46Speaker 1: and everybody in Brittany is saying, you know what, he's
- 6:49Speaker 1: not such a bad man. He really is very, very loyal.
- 6:52Speaker 1: He's a smart man. He's a thoughtful man. He's not flashy,
- 6:56Speaker 1: he's not a show pony. But he's a good man.
- 6:59Speaker 1: And it almost these little awful moments in life mystery
- 7:03Speaker 1: to remind everybody who we are there might be some
- 7:06Speaker 1: good out of this.
- 7:07Speaker 2: What do you think you've said so much?
- 7:09Speaker 1: Rob?
- 7:09Speaker 2: But I will say, at this moment you got to
- 7:11Speaker 2: put the royal life aside and just think about family.
- 7:15Speaker 2: This is about dealing with your father's health. So yes,
- 7:18Speaker 2: both sons need to put whatever animosity they have aside
- 7:22Speaker 2: from one another and just concentrate on their father's health.
- 7:25Speaker 2: Like you said, he's still working, so we know, okay,
- 7:29Speaker 2: there was a diagnosis. It's also important a lesson learned,
- 7:32Speaker 2: and I'm sure he will talk about this to making
- 7:34Speaker 2: sure that you get checked regularly. He was going for
- 7:37Speaker 2: a different checkup and found out about this. So hopefully
- 7:40Speaker 2: they've caught it early. It can be dealt with, but
- 7:42Speaker 2: it's time to put royal life aside for a minute
- 7:46Speaker 2: and concentrate on health and family. And I wish him
- 7:49Speaker 2: nothing but the best. And again, just like you said,
- 7:51Speaker 2: I hope it brings everyone closer, the whole country closer.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, you've had a real big impact on
- 7:57Speaker 1: the Misty family means so much to you. It does
- 8:00Speaker 1: to me, but I don't express it and I don't
- 8:02Speaker 1: show it nearly enough. It's in my heart, it's just
- 8:05Speaker 1: not in my mouth, and I've got a mouth. I know.
- 8:08Speaker 1: I love to talk, but I don't tell my family
- 8:10Speaker 1: that I love them enough. I don't. And so part
- 8:13Speaker 1: of the reason that I'm going to London is not
- 8:15Speaker 1: just because of King Charles. It's my mom and dad's
- 8:18Speaker 1: birthday on Sunday. I know she's My mom's going to
- 8:21Speaker 1: be eighty seven, my dad's My dad's going to be
- 8:23Speaker 1: eighty seven. Excuse me, my mom's going to be eighty eight.
- 8:26Speaker 1: They were born on the same day, one year apart.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Isn't that great? But I wasn't going to go, and
- 8:35Speaker 1: then I thought of you, Mistery, and I thought of
- 8:37Speaker 1: all the trips you make to Georgia or how many
- 8:39Speaker 1: times your mommy comes up to New York City? And
- 8:42Speaker 1: I said, do it. You know it's expensive, but would
- 8:45Speaker 1: I rather have a couple of thousand dollars in my
- 8:48Speaker 1: bank account or would I rather have thousands of memoriess
- 8:51Speaker 1: that I'm going to make in Britain? And so no,
- 8:54Speaker 1: I'm definitely going to go. And thank you mister for
- 8:56Speaker 1: helping me realize family is really really important, which brings
- 9:01Speaker 1: us to our whole question of the day. Meghan Markle
- 9:04Speaker 1: was contemplating going to London. Now he knows she's not.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Our questions quite simple. Should she go? Should she have gone?
- 9:10Speaker 1: Mister gave us a very very valid reason here, So
- 9:13Speaker 1: listen to miss but what do you think should Meghan
- 9:16Speaker 1: have gone? And the reason I'm asking this is not
- 9:19Speaker 1: to put Meghan down. She's fantastic, Harry is fantastic. But
- 9:22Speaker 1: I do know that Harry's work walking into a really
- 9:26Speaker 1: hostile environment, Misty. I wouldn't necessarily go for Charles. I'd
- 9:30Speaker 1: go for my husband. I'd say I don't want to.
- 9:32Speaker 1: They can be mean, these royals can be the press
- 9:35Speaker 1: can be mean, the family can be mean. I hate
- 9:38Speaker 1: the thought of Harry walking into this palace, this big,
- 9:40Speaker 1: cold palace, and everybody, you know, all the butlers and
- 9:43Speaker 1: the servants and the staff, they're all going to wrinkle
- 9:46Speaker 1: their nose like they're not that kind to Harry. So listen,
- 9:49Speaker 1: if you work inside Buckingham Palace or Clarence House or
- 9:51Speaker 1: winter Castle, listen to Rob today. Be nice to Harry.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Everybody be nice. This is difficult to know. Hey, go
- 9:57Speaker 1: vote on our Twitter page at Naughty nine Rob. A
- 10:00Speaker 1: facebook page is Naughty Gossip and be sure to check
- 10:04Speaker 1: back tomorrow to hear your results. Okay, mister, more family drama.
- 10:08Speaker 1: What's going on?
- 10:09Speaker 2: Yeah, so everybody's wondering what's going on with Miley Cyrus
- 10:13Speaker 2: and her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, because she won her
- 10:16Speaker 2: first Grammy on Sunday night, and she gave an acceptance
- 10:21Speaker 2: speech and thanked pretty much a lot of people except
- 10:24Speaker 2: for her dad. So, you know, she thanked her her mom, Trish,
- 10:30Speaker 2: she thanked her sister, you know, called out Brandy, and
- 10:33Speaker 2: she made a lighthearted remark. She made a light hearted
- 10:36Speaker 2: remark about changing outfits and maybe not wearing any underwere
- 10:41Speaker 2: But the fact that she didn't bring up her father's
- 10:43Speaker 2: name is getting people to wonder whether there's some kind
- 10:47Speaker 2: of family feud brewing. Rob. I always know you know
- 10:50Speaker 2: what's going on, So what's your take.
- 10:52Speaker 1: There's trouble there, like when you don't thank somebody, when
- 10:55Speaker 1: you exclude one person from a speech, from a thank
- 10:58Speaker 1: you note, it's because of drama. It's very rare that
- 11:01Speaker 1: it happens on accident, and if it is an accident,
- 11:03Speaker 1: it's subconscious somebody's done something to annoy you. I can't
- 11:07Speaker 1: imagine getting an award and not thank him, Bruce, unless
- 11:10Speaker 1: you'd upset me that day, and he might have, and
- 11:11Speaker 1: so he's always something going on. I would never thank
- 11:14Speaker 1: people for a podcast award, if ever we got one,
- 11:16Speaker 1: mystery and not thank you. And so I think sometimes
- 11:20Speaker 1: people it's what they don't say that tells you everything.
- 11:24Speaker 1: And we've been doing this for a long time. We're
- 11:25Speaker 1: great gossip columnsts, we're great reporters. People tell me a lot,
- 11:28Speaker 1: and thank you for that, you've kept me in a
- 11:30Speaker 1: good living for many, many years. But also thank you
- 11:33Speaker 1: for not saying stuff, because it's the stuff you don't
- 11:35Speaker 1: say that actually might be more important. Mister, you could
- 11:41Speaker 1: keep a secret. You don't tell anything.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Oh, no, I know where the bodies are buried, and
- 11:45Speaker 2: I am not giving directions how to get there. But yes,
- 11:50Speaker 2: I mean, of course Miley and her father, they've gone
- 11:53Speaker 2: up and down throughout the years. So again, maybe she
- 11:58Speaker 2: meant to thank him, but at that moment just didn't
- 12:00Speaker 2: come to mind. But I hope if they do have issues,
- 12:03Speaker 2: they can sit down and figure it out and talk,
- 12:05Speaker 2: because as we can see, family is precious and life
- 12:09Speaker 2: can be short.
- 12:10Speaker 1: Life can be short. Oh Misty, we're the family show today. Okay,
- 12:15Speaker 1: another family story too. Jay Z, when he accepted his
- 12:18Speaker 1: big honor, his Doctor Dre Global Impact Award at the Grammy's,
- 12:23Speaker 1: pointed out that Beyonce had been snubbed for Album of
- 12:26Speaker 1: the Year. Now, she has won more Grammars than anybody.
- 12:30Speaker 1: I think she has thirty two Grammys, and he's pointing out,
- 12:32Speaker 1: how can you win more Grammars than anybody but not
- 12:34Speaker 1: get the top prize, which is Album off the Year. Now,
- 12:37Speaker 1: other people are pushing back in the music business to day,
- 12:39Speaker 1: and it's such an interesting discussion. Mystake, Can you dare you?
- 12:43Speaker 1: Can you express the fact that you didn't get one
- 12:46Speaker 1: that you wanted? Or does this just look like being ingredy. Now,
- 12:49Speaker 1: I remember Beyonce didn't say this, She would never ever
- 12:52Speaker 1: complain her husband did this, And I think I get
- 12:55Speaker 1: what you're doing, Jay, and I know it's from love,
- 12:57Speaker 1: but I actually don't think this helps.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Maybe this wasn't the place to say it. It was
- 13:02Speaker 2: your award. You were getting awarded for all the things
- 13:05Speaker 2: you do. But look, men stand up for their women,
- 13:08Speaker 2: and what a bigger platform to stand up for. And
- 13:12Speaker 2: I certainly don't want to get into race here, but
- 13:14Speaker 2: I think the underlying theme is why is it that Beyonce,
- 13:18Speaker 2: who happens to be a woman of color, hasn't won
- 13:21Speaker 2: for Album of the Year. And there's been a lot
- 13:23Speaker 2: of talk about the Grammy's not recognizing black performers as
- 13:28Speaker 2: much as they need to.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Now.
- 13:29Speaker 2: I know there's a million categories where they've been awarded.
- 13:31Speaker 2: I know Whitney Houston one Album of the Year in
- 13:34Speaker 2: the past, but Beyonce is iconic, just like Taylor Swift,
- 13:37Speaker 2: and congratulations on having the most album of the Year
- 13:41Speaker 2: wins of all time. No one should take that away
- 13:44Speaker 2: from her. But I think that's what Jay was trying
- 13:47Speaker 2: to make a statement about, even though he did not
- 13:50Speaker 2: say that.
- 13:51Speaker 1: Yeah, he sort of fumbled it, and it's unusual for him.
- 13:54Speaker 1: He's normally so clearly on message. She is, or if
- 13:57Speaker 1: she'd done the speech, it would have been perfect, like
- 13:58Speaker 1: she stays on message, but it was a clumsy way
- 14:01Speaker 1: of I think showing love and also pointing out some hypocrisies.
- 14:04Speaker 1: You're right, Historically the Grammys have not been kind to
- 14:07Speaker 1: people of color or women. Let's be clear. A couple
- 14:09Speaker 1: of years ago, remember there were no women that were
- 14:11Speaker 1: nominated or what it was crazy. They fixed that, But
- 14:15Speaker 1: now it is a big question and I think bigger
- 14:17Speaker 1: picture here award shows. What do we really think of
- 14:19Speaker 1: these award shows? Because they're always going to be a
- 14:21Speaker 1: winmen and loser. And I think, you know i'd be
- 14:24Speaker 1: I don't win very much, and so I'd be honored
- 14:27Speaker 1: just to the nominated mystery. I mean, if I had
- 14:31Speaker 1: thirty two of something, I'm not sure i'd have the
- 14:33Speaker 1: hudspa to ask for thirty three.
- 14:36Speaker 2: Well, I'm sure that both Beyonce and Taylor will go
- 14:39Speaker 2: on to win many more Grammys and break many more awards,
- 14:44Speaker 2: but I guess that's their business. And just like we
- 14:47Speaker 2: like to be recognized for the hard work we put
- 14:49Speaker 2: into our business. They feel the same way, and for
- 14:52Speaker 2: some reason, a lot of black and all sorts of
- 14:55Speaker 2: performers have talked about how upsetting it is, even though
- 14:59Speaker 2: it's just an award, But it means that their work
- 15:02Speaker 2: was recognized. So we'll give them that. But don't worry.
- 15:05Speaker 2: Both those girls made over a billion dollars last year
- 15:08Speaker 2: and they're both happy.
- 15:09Speaker 1: They both got fine. I know Bruce won the Grammy
- 15:12Speaker 1: Award for Copacabana with Barry Manilowe. I know. Next time
- 15:16Speaker 1: you're over here, Missy, I'll I'll let you take a
- 15:18Speaker 1: picture with it. I don't actually know where it is, No,
- 15:20Speaker 1: I think it's in the living room. I'm terrible. I'm
- 15:22Speaker 1: the worst husband. Okay, we're going to take a quick
- 15:24Speaker 1: break while I go and look for Bruce's Grammy and
- 15:26Speaker 1: we will be right back. Welcome back to the Naughty
- 15:29Speaker 1: but Nice Show. I found it, Misty. It's on the piano. Terrible.
- 15:33Speaker 1: I'm terrible. When I first moved in with Bruce, I
- 15:36Speaker 1: had like barely won a swimming badge, Like I just
- 15:38Speaker 1: had one. Nothing, And I've got to be honest, in
- 15:40Speaker 1: the last thirty years, I've not won much more but
- 15:42Speaker 1: when I walked in, I went into the den and
- 15:45Speaker 1: one wall, this large war was just covered in gold records,
- 15:49Speaker 1: so many of them, I know, and you know what
- 15:51Speaker 1: I did. It's terrible. I'm going to admit this naughty.
- 15:53Speaker 1: You're gonna be furious. I said, why don't you pick
- 15:55Speaker 1: your favorite of the fifty gold records on the wall?
- 15:58Speaker 1: Why don't you pick your favorite one and we can
- 15:59Speaker 1: sort of put all the others under the piano. And
- 16:02Speaker 1: to his credit, he did it. I got now I
- 16:04Speaker 1: feel terrible.
- 16:06Speaker 2: You need to go put those back up. Come on,
- 16:09Speaker 2: it's it's called a feature wall, and why not feature
- 16:12Speaker 2: how incredibly amazingly talented he is? And he is a
- 16:16Speaker 2: good good man. You got a good monster.
- 16:19Speaker 1: I'm an appsolute monster, is what I am. Or is
- 16:23Speaker 1: terrible Because the show is running a little bit longer
- 16:26Speaker 1: because of all the royal news today, we're going to
- 16:27Speaker 1: get straight to a nicest of the day.
- 16:31Speaker 2: Well, our nicest of the day is Sunny Houston. She's
- 16:34Speaker 2: actually standing up for Taylor Swift, who's being called out
- 16:37Speaker 2: for a guffaw at the Grammys. Obviously she won her
- 16:40Speaker 2: Album of the Year fourth you know, most of all time,
- 16:44Speaker 2: but she did not recognize the person who gave her
- 16:47Speaker 2: the Grammy, which was Celine Dion, who has not been
- 16:50Speaker 2: seen on stage for years because she was diagnosed with
- 16:53Speaker 2: a with a with a very serious illness. So people
- 16:56Speaker 2: started calling out Taylor saying, oh my goodness, you know,
- 17:00Speaker 2: why didn't you think Selene Dion. So Sonny is saying, like,
- 17:05Speaker 2: you know, I know there's controversy. People are saying Taylor
- 17:08Speaker 2: Swift didn't give Dion her flowers. That was Taylor's moment,
- 17:13Speaker 2: and she said that Taylor had just broken the record
- 17:16Speaker 2: in her mind was probably on the fact that she
- 17:18Speaker 2: was in the moment, so you know, give her, give
- 17:21Speaker 2: her a break. And in this case, I think I
- 17:24Speaker 2: have to agree. It would have been great as she
- 17:25Speaker 2: had said, oh my goodness, the wonderful and amazing Celene Dion.
- 17:28Speaker 2: But I'm sure she said thank you when she took it.
- 17:31Speaker 2: We just didn't see her back was turned.
- 17:33Speaker 1: Yeah, it was oh, you know, me and Bruce disagree
- 17:35Speaker 1: about this actually. So we're watching the Grammars together and
- 17:37Speaker 1: when Taylor got up and she didn't acknowledge Selene, Bruce
- 17:40Speaker 1: is like, say hello to Selene, and I was like,
- 17:42Speaker 1: she's so caught up in the moment. She's so emotional.
- 17:45Speaker 1: She didn't expect to win that award. She really didn't,
- 17:48Speaker 1: and so I think that she wanted to thank the
- 17:50Speaker 1: people that made the record, all these people standing next
- 17:52Speaker 1: to her. Could if she turned to Selene and said,
- 17:54Speaker 1: oh my gosh, it's Selene Dionne. How are you? I
- 17:56Speaker 1: love you? Yes, she could have. I think it was
- 17:57Speaker 1: a faux pas. I think Taylor would admit that this
- 18:00Speaker 1: is a mistake. She didn't mean any any disrespect, but
- 18:03Speaker 1: it wasn't a great move to do this. But backstage
- 18:06Speaker 1: they took pictures together and you watch. I'm told by
- 18:10Speaker 1: my Taylor sources, she will make this right. I suspect
- 18:14Speaker 1: had a Taylor Smifth concert, she might sing a Selene's
- 18:17Speaker 1: hung I suspect now Selene is recovering herself, so her
- 18:20Speaker 1: health is a little iffy. Otherwise, I think she should
- 18:22Speaker 1: invite Selene upon stage to do a duet. But I
- 18:25Speaker 1: don't think they can do that. But I bet on
- 18:26Speaker 1: those huge video screams behind Taylor, she can flash up
- 18:30Speaker 1: a fabulous picture of miss Selene dion and nice is
- 18:34Speaker 1: the day now? And notty? Is that the day? Naughty? Naughty,
- 18:36Speaker 1: naughty fans are speculating that Taylor's new album is a
- 18:40Speaker 1: savage nod to her ex Joe Aldwyn. So, Joe Aldren
- 18:45Speaker 1: had a hilarious little group chat on his phone with
- 18:48Speaker 1: all his friends and they called it the Tortured Men's Club. Well,
- 18:51Speaker 1: now Taylor's new album is called The Tortured Poets Department.
- 18:56Speaker 1: M A little similar there. I hope this isn't the case,
- 19:00Speaker 1: because Taylor, You've got a nice new man, you were
- 19:02Speaker 1: in love. I know albums take a long time to make,
- 19:06Speaker 1: so she's been working on this for two years. So
- 19:08Speaker 1: this was before she met Travis. So maybe she did
- 19:10Speaker 1: have those feelings and they flooded out into her songs.
- 19:14Speaker 1: But the trouble is that you're in a different place
- 19:16Speaker 1: now than you were even six months ago, and so
- 19:18Speaker 1: I think it's time Taylor. I think, listen to me,
- 19:21Speaker 1: given Taylor swift advice, who'd ripe be going? But I
- 19:23Speaker 1: think it's time to focus on this new guy. Let
- 19:26Speaker 1: go of the past. I mean, I get it. We
- 19:28Speaker 1: love Taylor songs. There tell all songs where she gossips away.
- 19:31Speaker 1: But I think now now it's particularly if Travis is
- 19:34Speaker 1: the one stop talking about your ex stop it, stop
- 19:38Speaker 1: it and autist of the day. Let's end with a
- 19:41Speaker 1: moment of We talk a lot on the show about happiness,
- 19:47Speaker 1: and I've been thinking about what makes me happy, and
- 19:50Speaker 1: it's external factors that do not so. When I've often
- 19:55Speaker 1: struggled about wanting to be richer, wanting to be more successful,
- 19:59Speaker 1: wanting to be skinnier, wanting to lose that ten pounds.
- 20:02Speaker 1: When I've achieved it, I didn't get any more happy.
- 20:05Speaker 1: And the reason is because that isn't what makes you happy.
- 20:09Speaker 1: I've heard this said and I never understood it too recently.
- 20:12Speaker 1: Happiness is an inside job. It's gotta come from within.
- 20:17Speaker 1: So you get to decide when you're gonna be happy.
- 20:19Speaker 1: You can't wait for external factors, So decide today, this minute,
- 20:25Speaker 1: you are going to be happy. Think of it now.
- 20:27Speaker 1: Think of it like a light switch. Flip the switch
- 20:29Speaker 1: right now. I see you're doing it, mister there, Now
- 20:32Speaker 1: you're happy. That easy. Be happy. You guys make me
- 20:36Speaker 1: so happy. Thank you so much for listening to The
