August 4th is election day for your primary — it’s where the top two candidates in every race advance to November’s general election. Voters in Washington, especially Spokane County, should expect ballots in the mail starting this Thursday, with more arriving through the weekend. If yours hasn’t arrived by July 27th, contact your auditor’s office. Voting by mail remains unchanged — drop boxes are collected nightly, and ballots are accepted until 8 PM on Election Day without needing a stamp.
