- 0:58you do say hey, what's up? Everybody. Welcome to the Robbie g
- 1:14Podcast. That's right, it is Thursday, March seventh. If today is
- 1:18your birthday, happy birthday. And of course here's some celebrities that share a
- 1:23birthday with you. Let's see Jennif Fisher turns the age of fifty today,
- 1:30Laura Peppron from that seventy show, and Orange is New Black is forty four,
- 1:34Wanda Sykes turns sixty, Brandon T. Jackson turns forty, and Andrew
- 1:42Lepage turns twenty nine. Also a happy heavenly birthday to the dad from Home
- 1:47Alone, John Hurd. He would have celebrated his birthday today with everybody that
- 1:52has a birthday. So yeah, today we're gonna have a fun show.
- 1:55We're gonna talk some NFL news. We're gonna talk about russell Mania just coming
- 2:00up in a month and pretty much from now. It starts the sixth of
- 2:04April and the seventh of April, that Saturday and Sunday, so we're gonna
- 2:07talk to WrestleMania. We got the Bears top ten biggest draft bus of all
- 2:14time, since the draft is coming up in a month, and then we're
- 2:16gonna talk about some Oscar previews and stuff like that. I also have real
- 2:23TV life couples that have dated on TV shows and in real life, so
- 2:27we're gonna have some fun today. And of course I got my top ten
- 2:30lists coming up in a little while too, So let's get into it.
- 2:34Let's start out with NFL while free agency starts next week. Already we are
- 2:39truly on the kickoff to the twenty twenty four twenty five season. It's gonna
- 2:45be a big one. I'm excited. I think everybody's excited to see where
- 2:49the Bears are gonna go. Are they gonna draft Caleb Williams or Drake May
- 2:53Are they gonna keep justin fields? What receiver are we gonna pick up?
- 2:57Are we even gonna pick up a receiver? A lot of it hinges next
- 3:00week on the NFL Draft. A lot of this, honestly, is gonna
- 3:06hinge on what we do with the draft. If we end up in free
- 3:09agency getting a wide receiver, maybe they don't go ride receiver with a rookie,
- 3:15or maybe they don't need a Marvin Harrison junior at that point, you
- 3:20know, there's a lot of guys out there. I'm gonna talk about that.
- 3:23The Chicago Bears did sign a player from the Buffalo Bills. Chicago Bears
- 3:30have picked up in a trade, and this is a few days ago,
- 3:35Ryan Bates, and they traded a fifth round pick for him from the Buffalo
- 3:39Bills, which is actually funny. It's it's crazy because I guess originally a
- 3:52yeah, so the be the Bears made that pick, and I was laughing
- 3:55because there was also rumors that one of the players for a running back from
- 4:05the Raiders that they had, the Bears traded their pick for Khalil Mack to
- 4:15them, and he ended up becoming that draft pick or running back. And
- 4:24I forgot his name now he's like, he's pretty, He's a decent running
- 4:27back. I just forgot his name and didn't write it down. But he
- 4:30ended up being the pick that the Raiders ended up taking from the Chicago Bears.
- 4:38They used it for this running back and now Chicago is interested in him
- 4:43being a free agent. So it's crazy. If he came to Chicago,
- 4:46the team that produced the draft pick that brought him to the Raiders, that's
- 4:50insane. There's a lot of big players that are out there on the free
- 4:55agent market this year that the Bears could go after. They've got Sekwan Barkley
- 4:59is out there. I mean, there's a ton there's a bird that is
- 5:02bugging me. It's right by my tree, but it's like I'm outside.
- 5:05I always do my show in my garage outside because it's fun to be out
- 5:09in the outdoors in the winter time. But yeah, this bird is really
- 5:13annoying me. If I had a BV got right now, I'd probably go
- 5:15after it. But yeah, so we're gonna talk more free agency next week.
- 5:20Again, I just wanted to throw that out there that the Bears did
- 5:25bring in a player that could play center for them, which is a need
- 5:29that they really really have and they need to meet. And so if he
- 5:32could play center for the Bears and do a better job than what we had,
- 5:35that'll help either Justin Fields or Kayler Williams. Because at this point,
- 5:40it's not about whether or not it's Justin Fields. It's either gonna be Justin
- 5:45Kleb, it's gonna be Drake May, it's gonna be somebody. But they
- 5:48need a better offensive line for any quarterback they bring in. It doesn't matter
- 5:54who you get right now, if you had Aaron Rodgers, you'd have to
- 5:56have a better offensive line. If you had anybody, it would have to
- 6:00be a better offensive line. So you know, that's a need that we
- 6:03need to bet and the Bears did it. I'll have some more talk next
- 6:06week. It's gonna be a lot of talk going out about free agency.
- 6:11In fact, let's see when does free agency start? Because I usually record
- 6:15my shows on either Thursday or Friday and release it the day that I record
- 6:19it. So let's see free agency NFL Sturday. It actually starts Wednesday,
- 6:29March thirteenth. So by the time I record my show next week, which
- 6:35I'll probably wait till Friday, by then, we'll already know a lot of
- 6:40your big signings. That's why I'm gonna wait till Friday to do it,
- 6:44because I already talked about free agents that are out there. We did that
- 6:47a couple of weeks ago. So go back a few weeks and you'll see
- 6:50I talked about free agency, but and who's gonna be out there and who
- 6:55the big targets are next Friday. By the time I do my show,
- 6:59we should have have a pretty good understanding of who's out there, because there's
- 7:03been a lot of players that have been released on a contract. Because the
- 7:06thing is the NFL has the salary cap, so a lot of times they
- 7:12have to release players. Even some of the decent players get released because you
- 7:17know, great players don't, but sometimes they do because they have to be
- 7:20a cap casualty. So sometimes some of your good players get released and then
- 7:25they go to other teams and they flourish because the team couldn't handle it.
- 7:29See. The good thing about the Bears the last two years of Ryan Poles
- 7:31is he knows how to manage the money. They've never had to release players
- 7:35necessarily for that. When people say, well they just released white Hair and
- 7:42Eddie Jackson, yeah, it wasn't all because of money, though they wanted
- 7:46more money to spend in free agency. They already had like sixty million at
- 7:49the point in time to spend. They wanted more and those guys were dead
- 7:55weight, so there's no point in keeping them. Eddie Jackson did not have
- 7:59a good year lastlast year. Cody Whitehair did not have a good year last
- 8:01year. I don't even know if boy Hair ever had a good year for
- 8:05US. So honestly, like those are the guys you cut. It saves
- 8:09the most money. These were guys that Ryan Pace brought in that the Bears
- 8:15knew they did not need anymore. And when a new GM takes over,
- 8:18like Ryan Poles did a couple of years ago, you want to make that
- 8:22team pretty much your own because if you're gonna go down, you don't want
- 8:28to go down in a ship with old guys from the last regime. You
- 8:33want to make sure if you're gonna go down, and you're gonna go down
- 8:35with the players you picked to play for you. That's why if Justin Fields
- 8:41leaves, it's not necessarily only because he's not showing signs of improvement. He
- 8:50was a Ryan Pace guy. He was drafted and brought in by Ryan Pace,
- 8:54not by Poles. If Poles wants to go with a completely different direction
- 9:00and bring in his own quarterback, that's his preference, and at this point
- 9:07you're not giving up a Pro Bowl quarterback if he decides to get rid of
- 9:13Justin Fields. If Justin Fields does stay with Chicago, it's because Ryan Poles
- 9:18saw something in him this year. We don't know what Ryan Poles looks for
- 9:22in his quarterback. Maybe what he saw he's like, I can build around
- 9:26this. But maybe he's saying, I want to start fresh with my quarterback,
- 9:33the guy that I bring in. So if I draft Caleb Williams,
- 9:37if I draft Drink May, if I go Michael Pennix Junior or Bnix,
- 9:41I'm the one that brought him in, not anybody else. If I go
- 9:46down on this hill, I'm going down with my men that I chose for
- 9:52my team. I traded for them, I signed them in free agency,
- 9:58I drafted them. It's my team now I hired the coaching staff. That's
- 10:05how GMS look at it. They don't want now. If Fields was an
- 10:11all Pro quarterback and he was a Pro bowler and took him to the playoffs
- 10:16and was winning lots of games, Poles wouldn't even think twice about keeping them,
- 10:22even though he was part of the Pace regime. He would keep them.
- 10:28But has justin proved enough to stay with the Bears. We're gonna find
- 10:33out because by next Wednesday, I can almost guarantee this because this is what
- 10:37Ryan Pohle said at one point during I believe it was either right before the
- 10:43combine last week he said he wants to do right by Justin. He said,
- 10:48if I'm going to end up trading Justin and drafting a quarterback, I
- 10:54want him to be traded before the free agency so he can go to his
- 10:58new team and he can start get acclimated to a new system right away.
- 11:03He does not hate Justin Fields. He's not like some of these douchebag fans
- 11:07that are out there right now that don't like Justin because of whatever reason.
- 11:13Honestly, Justin Fields has improved and if you can't see that, then you're
- 11:20football blind. You have no idea what you're talking about. If you can't
- 11:26see the progression of Justin Fields from year one to two to three, now,
- 11:33is that warranting keeping him another year? Maybe not, But that's up
- 11:39to Ryan Poles. That's not up to us as fans. As fans,
- 11:45you hope that we build the best team we can and run with it.
- 11:50Like they say, let Poles cook, because that man has done way more
- 11:54better than he's done bad. You could say, well, he drafted this
- 11:58guy who was a bust, or he drafts to this guy. It happens.
- 12:01Nobody knows when they've traveed. Somebody. Did Carolina think when they were
- 12:07horrible last year? Did they honestly think when they made that trade with the
- 12:13Bears for Dj Moore, who ended up being a savior for Justin Fields and
- 12:18the Bears, did they think that Dj Moore was going to be the catcher
- 12:22that he was. Did they think that they would be giving up a number
- 12:24one draft pick to the Chicago Bears when they took Bryce Young. No,
- 12:30they thought Bryce Young was going to be another great number one quarterback. There's
- 12:33been a few, then there's been some bus at number one. I can't
- 12:39necessarily say that Bryce Young is a bust yet. But he didn't have a
- 12:43good rookie year and he did not warrant that trade that they made in all
- 12:52actuality, A team that makes a trade like Carolina did was hoping that they
- 12:56could get a quarterback that could get him like seven eight wins, a rookie
- 13:01that could take him to seven or eight wins. And there are rookies who
- 13:03are ready to go to the NFL right away. C J. Stroud he
- 13:07proved it. He was a number one draft pick and guess what happened.
- 13:13Look where he is. He made it to the playoffs and his rookie year
- 13:18led that team was great, was a great all around player. And guess
- 13:24where he came from, Ohio State. So when people say Ohio State produces
- 13:28all bus quarterbacks, ask CJ. Stroud if he thinks he's gonna be a
- 13:33bust or was he a bust this year? CJ. Stroud is one of
- 13:43those people who came into the league with zero expectations on him and ended up
- 13:50being a superstar. Will that be Caleb Williams, who knows generational? I
- 13:56don't really like that word necessarily. I think it kind of fits with the
- 14:01Marvin Harrison junior because he does come from a generation of players. But to
- 14:07say generational for Caleb Williams, that's I don't think he's going to be generational.
- 14:11I think he'll be good or decent, and that's all the Bears need
- 14:15if they draft him. The Bears don't need a superstar quarterback. They need
- 14:20somebody serviceable. If you could build a good defense, a good run game,
- 14:26get a couple of great receivers like DJ Moore, and then build around
- 14:30him like they did with you know, we get a Marvin Harrison. Darnell
- 14:33Mooney turned down a three year extension for thirty million, so he's a free
- 14:37agent. He's gone by by butterfingers. I don't want him here because everybody's
- 14:43oh, well, he had a thousand yards a year before. He was
- 14:46the only option we got Claypool literally like nine to ten games in. There
- 14:52was no way he was going to be a superstar at least that year.
- 14:56And then he ended up being a bus for us anyway, And then where
- 15:00do he go? Miami? And where did he do there? He end
- 15:01up getting like surgery and being out for the season. Thank the Lord,
- 15:05Poles got rid of him, And yeah, polls Man made a mistake.
- 15:09But see there's where it is. People make mistakes. It doesn't matter.
- 15:15All I want to know is that the Bears are back. They're going to
- 15:20do what they're gonna do. Poles is gonna build a team though he wants
- 15:22to do it. And last year we won seven games with what we had.
- 15:28Can you imagine if we upgrade in a bunch of positions, you imagine
- 15:33getting another defensive end on the other side of Montese sweat. The Bears are
- 15:37gonna be legit next year. I don't care what anybody says. They're gonna
- 15:43be a legit team, all right. So next week, we will talk
- 15:45more about free agency. By then we'll know I'm gonna do the show Friday,
- 15:50So by Friday will already be a day about a day and a half
- 15:52into free agency, so we'll see what goes on. It's gonna be a
- 15:56big week next week, so we'll see what happens. Oh, let's let's
- 16:00go into the Bears to since we're talking about the draft next month, let's
- 16:04talk about the Bears and their draft bus, their biggest bus of all time.
- 16:10Let's go into that. All right, let's go into this list now,
- 16:14number ten, the top ten biggest Chicago Bears NFL draft bus of all
- 16:18time. Now this is by BBM Sports, So I mean, obviously this
- 16:23is an opinion. You may think of some bus. Let me know in
- 16:27the comments in the section below on Spreaker in different areas you can comment,
- 16:33or you can email me the email addresses in the show notes about what's going
- 16:38on with the show. So definitely check that out. But here we go.
- 16:41Number ten, Mitch Trubisky, quarterback out of North Carolina, twenty seventeen,
- 16:47number two overall. Pick my thoughts on this. Trubisky, Yes,
- 16:52he would fall under the bus category. I defended this guy, and I
- 16:56said, when he leaves Chicago, he was gonna be great. He ended
- 16:59up going to Buffalo and he ended up stinking there. Now he's back with
- 17:03Buffalo. The Buffalo Bills just signed him, so yes, he is back
- 17:08with Buffalo now. And then he went to Pittsburgh. He was horrible there,
- 17:11So yeah, I would concur he would be on that list of bus
- 17:15So he comes in at number ten, number nine. Gabe Krmie Krmeie offensive
- 17:23tackle, Wisconsin, twenty eleven, Number twenty nine overall, mostly due to
- 17:29injuries and poor performance. But injuries can turn you into a bust. You
- 17:34know, you can have this career where you're gonna be amazing and you're gonna
- 17:38be this great player, but if you start getting injured too much, it's
- 17:44going to mess up your whole career. And that's what happened to Gabe Carmee.
- 17:48Yeah, he was not the offensive tackle that the Bears thought. He
- 17:52was gonna be number eight on the list. David Terrell, Oh my gosh,
- 17:56from the School that I Love receiver out of Michigan two thousand and one,
- 18:02number eight overall pick. David Morell had high hopes for him. The
- 18:10Bears used the top ten pick on Michigan standout David Morell. Let's see,
- 18:15they were hoping he'd be a playmaker on the outside. Sad. Over four
- 18:18years in Chicago, Terrell recorded just one hundred and twenty eight receptions for one
- 18:23than six hundred and two yards and nine touchdowns. That's over four seasons.
- 18:29Though, think about that. Most good receivers get a lot about twelve thirteen
- 18:34hundred yards a year. In one year, this dude did sixteen hundred and
- 18:38four. That's not even that's like not even a slot position. That's like
- 18:44a tight end. Even tight ends get more. Let's compare this to last
- 18:52year Cole Cobtt had like seven hundred and sixty one yards as a tight end.
- 18:56Okay, so yeah, I mean, if you think about it,
- 19:00no, this is definitely a bust. I hate to see anybody from Michigan
- 19:07being a bus because that's the school that I love. Hopefully JJ McCarthy doesn't
- 19:11end up being a bust in the NFL. He was great in college,
- 19:14but he took him to a national championship and won it. But not always
- 19:18great when you get into the pros. We'll see. So number seven Shane
- 19:22mcclennan, defensive end, Boise State twenty twelve, number nineteen overall. He
- 19:30was best known for breaking Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers collar bote in twenty
- 19:34thirteen. So there you go, there you go. That's something. That's
- 19:38something he put out Aaron Rodgers. But no. During his four years in
- 19:42Chicago, mcclennan had two hundred and two tackles seventeen for a while, seven
- 19:48and a half sacks, two fumble recoveries, and one forest fumble in fifty
- 19:52two games with thirty one starts. He's a pass rusher. Seven and a
- 19:57half sacks in four season not gonna cut it. You should have at least
- 20:03eight to ten a year as a pass rusher, and that's if you have
- 20:07another good pass rusher on the other side of you, Like when we had
- 20:11Robert Quinn and Khalil Mack. Yeah, you put the two together. One
- 20:15guy could have eight or nine. Well, the other guy has like thirteen
- 20:18or fourteen. That's fine. I'm about to have seven and a half sacks
- 20:22in four years. Yeah, not gonna cut it as a defensive end,
- 20:25especially on a defensive mind a team like Chicago let's see number six, Stan
- 20:30Thomas offensive tackle Texas nineteen ninety one, number twenty two overall. Yeah,
- 20:37he was an offensive tackle. He finished his Bears tenure in just twenty six
- 20:41games with seven starts. He didn't improve with the Oilers either, lasting just
- 20:45two seasons in Houston with thirty games played and zero starts. Yeah, not
- 20:51good. Let's see number five Michael Haynes, defensive end from Penn State two
- 20:56thousand and three, number fourteen overall. Another pass rusher who failed to produce
- 21:03in Chicago. He was taken by the Bears with the number fourteen overall pick
- 21:07in the twenty three draft. He finished his season with the Bear in his
- 21:11career with seventy nine total tackles, ten for loss, five and a half
- 21:15sacks, three pass deflections, one force fomal and an interception in forty three
- 21:19games. So you got to think forty three games and he started four times.
- 21:26Yeah, not good. He never saw action after he left Chicago in
- 21:30two thousand and five. Now with those numbers, ah boy, number four
- 21:34Curtis Enies, everybody remembers this guy. Bust personified running back Penn State nineteen
- 21:41ninety eight, number five overall. He ended his career. Let's see,
- 21:49he tore his ACL nine games into his career. He was never the same
- 21:55running back after that injury. After a nine hundred yards sophomore season in ninety
- 21:59nine, Enis was moved to fullback for the two thousand season. He finished
- 22:03his career with the Bears with one thousand, four hundred and ninety seven yards
- 22:07and six total touchdowns in thirty six games, with eighteen starts over three seasons,
- 22:14and again, running back another position where if you're a star running back,
- 22:19a number one, you should have at least one thousand yards or more.
- 22:25So Yeah, to shows, I mean, I take nine hundred yards
- 22:29over that. Here's where it's gonna sting. The Bears chose Enis over fellow
- 22:34first round picks Randy Moss, Alan Fanaga, and Fred Taylor. Think about
- 22:40that, we could add Randy Moss in Chicago. Yeah, that's terrible.
- 22:47Let's see number three Cade McNown, quarterback UCLA in nineteen ninety nine. He
- 22:53went number twelve after taking Enis in the first round a year prior, Chicago
- 22:59tried to pay him the top flight quarterback and McNown. Unfortunately for the Bears,
- 23:03neither would work out in two seasons in Chicago, McNown played in just
- 23:07twenty five games but fifteen starts, throwing for three thousand, one hundred and
- 23:11eleven yards, sixteen touchdowns, and nineteen interceptions while going three to twelve.
- 23:17Mcnowald was traded during the twenty one preseason of the Miami Dolphins. I never
- 23:22saw playing time in the NFL again. Think about this, it's crazy.
- 23:27In three seasons with the Bears, three one hundred eleven yards, he was
- 23:33drafted number twelve overall. Most quarterbacks that start in the NFL should get thirty
- 23:45five hundred and four thousand yards a game or a year, not a game
- 23:48a year he did three thousand and one, eleven and three. It's crazy,
- 23:56crazy to think about. Let's go on number two, number two.
- 24:02Kevin White, wide receiver. This one stings West Virginia twenty fifteen, number
- 24:10seven overall. It says they drafted him at number seven. Due mostly to
- 24:17injuries. White career never took off, as he played in just fourteen games
- 24:21with the five starts over three years in Chicago, White total twenty five catches
- 24:26for two hundred eighty five yards and no touchdowns. He wasn't resigned in twenty
- 24:30nineteen, instead signed with Arizona Cardinals. He is still in the NFL today,
- 24:34but has never topped his nineteen catch, one and eighty seven yard rookie
- 24:38season. Wow, he's still acquired this he still plays. Love to look
- 24:47him up and see where he is. And number one, the number one
- 24:52Okay biggest bust at Chicago history Bob Fenimore, running back, Oklahoma State,
- 25:00nineteen forty seven, number one overall pick, the number one pick in the
- 25:04draft, and he turned out to be a bust. It says Fetemar already
- 25:12showed signs of deterioration, missing chunks of the nineteen forty six season at Oklahoma
- 25:18State due to injuries, but the Bears selected him anyway. This proved to
- 25:22be a bad choice, as he only played one season in his NFL career,
- 25:26rushing for one hundred and eighty nine yards on one score while catching passes
- 25:30for two hundred and nineteen yards and two more scores over ten games with no
- 25:34starts. He finished his NFL career with more fumbles four than touchdowns three and
- 25:41never played in the league again following his nineteen forty seven rookie year. That's
- 25:45insane to think about. That's insane to think about. I don't even know
- 25:51what to say, but yeah, so those are the top ten Bears busts
- 25:53of all time. Crazy to look at that list, insane. We're gonna
- 25:59talk with Elimination Chamber. Over two weeks ago. I actually guessed everything right
- 26:06on that I figured I would. But now we are definitely on the full
- 26:11road to WrestleMania. There's no pay per view stops along the way. It
- 26:15is straight through to Mania. We are less than about what four weeks away
- 26:22because for maybe five weeks, because it's like the sixth and seventh of April.
- 26:27Finally they introduced the first inductee into the WW Hall of Fame for twenty
- 26:33twenty four, and it is the great Paul Hayman. I am so excited
- 26:38for Paul Hayman to get in there. He deserves him more than anybody else.
- 26:42He has been a staple of wrestling all the way since the nineties with
- 26:47ECW and now through WW. He has mentored and coached and been the advocate
- 26:53for guys in the WW like brock lesnar romand Reigns, Punk Cizarro when he
- 27:00was in WW. I mean, the list goes on and on, Paul
- 27:03Hayman. Guys, Okay, he had a few guys that he you know,
- 27:11mentored in ECW, Guys like Taz who's still in the business. He's
- 27:15an announcer for AW Mick Foley who was there, Terry Funk. He's had
- 27:22some great wrestlers under his brand, and then when he came to WW he
- 27:27was able to do even more there with the talent they had there. But
- 27:32I'm telling you now, Paul Hayman, amazing, amazing storylines going in WrestleMania.
- 27:38I'm enjoying them. Let's see what the WrestleMania match cards so far looks
- 27:44like with the matches that we know that are gonna take place. Let's see
- 27:52WrestleMania card. But yeah, I mean it's it's gonna look like an amazing
- 28:00time. So I can't wait. But here, let's see the card so
- 28:03far. I don't want that hand that's forty card predictions. No, we
- 28:17don't need that. Let's just look at the card that's already in front of
- 28:21us, and then I'll give my prediction on some other ones. All right,
- 28:27So here we go russell Mania confirm matches. Let's see, so we
- 28:34definitely know that some are already confirmed. We already know that we'll have Roman
- 28:42reigns on Cody Roads night to the main event. We also know that we're
- 28:47gonna have EO Sky and Bailey. We now know because Elimination Chamber, we're
- 28:51gonna have Real Ripley and Becky Lynch for the championship. And we know Seth
- 28:55Rollins or Drew McIntyre. Also we know that we are definitely going to have
- 29:03the Rock and Roman taking on Cody and Seth and that is going to most
- 29:11likely be Night one. Now will wwe what will they do with this?
- 29:17Will they have the Rock and Roman and Cody and Seth open Night one or
- 29:23close Night one? When will Seth defend his title against Drew McIntyre. Will
- 29:30that be a Night two double? I would love to see a double title
- 29:33main event and they should do what they should do is this. I don't
- 29:40feel that Rock Roman, Cody and Seth should end the show. I think
- 29:45they should end the show with Bailey and Eosky. I think that the Rock
- 29:49one could be just like it was in Russell Maania eighteen when Hogan took on
- 29:55the Rock and they did in main event the night the main event was still
- 29:59a TI match and it came close to the end of the card. Do
- 30:02that or I mean, what a banger to kick off the show, the
- 30:06return of the Rock Wrestling again, have him kick the night off. I
- 30:11mean to me, I think that would set the tone for WrestleMania. So
- 30:14why wouldn't you think about doing that? The Rack does not have to main
- 30:18event. He knows that, and he's been the non main event in plenty
- 30:22of wrestling matches in his career. He knows he doesn't have to main event
- 30:25everything. So at this time, yeah, that's what I would do.
- 30:32Some matches that were teased through Elimination Chamber AJ Styles and La Knight was one
- 30:38of them, and then of course another one Randy Ordan and Logan Paul.
- 30:45I definitely think those matches are gonna happen. Jimmy and j Usso they already
- 30:51said Gunther is going to be facing They have like six guys who are going
- 30:56to face off Monday Night Raw and a six pack Challenge, and the winner
- 31:02of that match will go on to face Gunther at russell Mania. Who knows
- 31:07that title with Logan Paul and Randy Orton could turn into a multiman match for
- 31:12the Intercontinental or for the United States Championship, and like a ladder, so
- 31:18could the Intercontinental title could become a ladder match. There's a lot of things
- 31:22that can happen between now and then, but we definitely are getting Jimmy and
- 31:25Jay lusso there's definitely gonna be that. So there's a lot of good matches
- 31:29on the WrestleMania card that I'm looking forward to, and I think everybody else
- 31:33is looking forward to it also. So let's go into I'm gonna do my
- 31:40top ten now, usually staying for the end of the show, but it
- 31:42does stick with wrestling, So let's go into this my top ten WWE pay
- 31:48per views, and we'll talk more about WrestleMania in the next few weeks.
- 31:52Obviously, I just want to go over the card that was already there.
- 31:55I'll give predictions the week of for both once I see what Night one and
- 31:57two matches are going to be. We already know saw Like we obviously know
- 32:02that Cody and Roman are gonna highlight Night two. It's gonna be the main
- 32:07event of the night, so we already know that. But most of the
- 32:10matches aren't set in stone yet, and they're not set on days and times,
- 32:15so we'll see. But we'll talk more about that in the next few
- 32:17weeks once we really start to see the card come together. But I'll tell
- 32:21you now, Triple H's story telling in this WrestleMania is getting people enthralled.
- 32:25I can't wait till SmackDown tonight, tomorrow night. It's gonna be good.
- 32:30The Rock's gonna be there again. It's nice to see the Rock coming out.
- 32:32Roman was there last week. Maybe he'll be there every week now for
- 32:37until WrestleMania. Let's get this going. Let's get this like it used to
- 32:40be a big fight. Feel for it. I'm excited for Orn and Logan
- 32:45Paul. I think that's gonna be a great match if they do a one
- 32:46on one. I would say for Gunther's title, maybe do a ladder match,
- 32:51but I would do just Randy and Logan and Paul. That would be
- 32:53awesome. You know. Can you see Randy giving the rub to to Logan
- 33:00Paul? For sure? Logan Paul is a great heel. The heat he
- 33:06gets is amazing. Judgment Day is definitely gonna be an action at WrestleMania for
- 33:09their titles, but against somebody. Damian Priest is lurking around with a briefcase.
- 33:15He could cash it on anybody. He could cash it on Loan and
- 33:19Paul. He can look cash in on seth Or or Drew. He could
- 33:22cash in on Gunther. I mean, the possibilities are endless. He's gonna
- 33:29be like creeping around all WrestleMania night. So here's my top ten WW pay
- 33:32per views of all time and this is the names of the pay per views.
- 33:38Number ten, everybody remembers Cyber Sunday. That was a fun night.
- 33:45Everybody got to vote on what they wanted and it was all done. Now
- 33:51was it the way everybody wanted? Who knows, But the premise was you
- 33:55go on your computer and you vote on the matches and stipulations the matches,
- 34:00and then the highest number would get that match. It was a cool concept.
- 34:07I think they should bring it back once in a while, maybe do
- 34:08like a special on the WW network as Cyber Sunday Special. That'd be kind
- 34:13of cool. Number nine Hella to Sell. Always love Hellata Sel, but
- 34:16I think it lost its luster after like the first three or four years on
- 34:21pay per view. It was cool when it was just a gimmick where you
- 34:27would see it at a pay per view just randomly. First couple of years
- 34:30of hellt us Cell pay per views were really great, awesome matches, and
- 34:36then it just went down from there. It just kind of lost its luster.
- 34:39But it still made my top ten because I did enjoy a lot of
- 34:44the Hell in the Cell matches that we had during the pay per views in
- 34:46the early days of it. The later days that it just wasn't as good
- 34:51no more, it was just a filler pay per view. Number eight Backlash.
- 34:54Backlash always gives way to some great rivalries that happened and matches from WrestleMania,
- 35:01like some rematches and stuff. I'm not a fan of the Russellmania backlash
- 35:07thing. I think it's stupid. Just call it backlash. You don't have
- 35:10to call it WrestleMania backlash. Number seven. King of the Ring, not
- 35:15the King of the Ring they do recently. The King of the Ring they
- 35:19used to do where it was an entire pay per view and the king would
- 35:22be crowned at the end of the night, and it wasn't qualifying matches that
- 35:29went all the way to the semi finals during Raw. This was like an
- 35:34entire night, so you would have the qualifying matches to get to the King
- 35:38of the Ring leading up to it, but once you got to the bracket
- 35:44part of it, that's all on one pay per view. That was a
- 35:49cool concept. They need to bring that back again to They could do it
- 35:52for the Queen of the Ring too. They can do both in one night.
- 35:55Have eight men and eight women, pretty simple and have you know the
- 36:00matches. It'll be really cool. But it's up to the w Number six
- 36:05in your House. There was so many in your houses. Every pay per
- 36:08view that wasn't the Big Four was called in your House something. It was
- 36:13cool. It was an awesome concept. I loved it. And the little
- 36:15house in the background on the thing, the house set was cool. It
- 36:20was just it was a fun little pay per view. Every time you had
- 36:24it in your house, you knew it would be fun. They had the
- 36:27DX one, they had an undertaker one. I think one of them was
- 36:30a bad Blood one. It was cool. They were in your house and
- 36:34then it would have a name. It was really cool. Well, that
- 36:36was a concept that I loved. Now I think everybody knows where my top
- 36:39five are going, and maybe you'll agree or disagree with order number five to
- 36:45me. Survivor series now a lot of people say, oh, but now
- 36:49they do the wargames. That's cool. I love it, but it's just
- 36:52not my favorite. Like I like it, but it's not my favorite.
- 36:55It's my top five, but it's not my favorite one. Number four Money
- 37:00in the Bank. I always love money in the bank. I love money
- 37:02in the Bank when they did at WrestleMania. But I do like the pay
- 37:06per view concept of it because you always now have too money in the bank
- 37:09ladder matches and then you fill the rest of the card with a title match
- 37:14or whatever. But yeah, I love money in the Bank. That's my
- 37:17number four. Number three SummerSlam. Nothing like an end of the summer party.
- 37:22I like how they're doing the outdoor arenas now because it's summertime. You
- 37:27know. I think the ww really lost it. They could have did Bash
- 37:31at the Beach when they bought wcwout. You could add like a cool concept
- 37:37like I remember WCW Day's Bash at the Beach. They would do it on
- 37:40a beach, like they literally set the ring up on a beach. That
- 37:45would be cool, close on a beach, put a bunch of chairs out
- 37:47there. You're not gonna sell like you do for everything else. But for
- 37:52one pay per view. You would have so much fun. The fans would
- 37:54love it. I think it would be cool, but SummerSlam and the outdoor
- 37:59arena. At least it's outside in August when it's hot out and the fans
- 38:04are excited to be out there. It's a big stadium feel, you know.
- 38:07I love that about it, and I'm excited for it. I wish
- 38:09it would come to Chicago and go to Soldier Field. That'd be cool,
- 38:13or Wrigley Field. It'd be cool to see it. I would probably buy
- 38:16the tickets to go to see it because it'd just be cool to be there.
- 38:21Number two The Royal Rumble the Road kicks off to WrestleMania. It is
- 38:30one of my favorite nights of the year, just to see the men and
- 38:35women thirty men, thirty women one survival. It's cool. Sometimes I kind
- 38:39of wish they would do a double ring and have the women in one ring
- 38:43and the men in one ring, and just do it all at once and
- 38:46maybe add ten extra people to it. Have like a forty man and forty
- 38:51women rumble, have two rings and every time the buzzer rings, one man
- 38:54comes out, he gets out of the ring. One woman comes out.
- 38:58That'd be kind of cool concept too. But I love the Royal ru Bowl
- 39:00and number one, I mean, how could you not WrestleMania. I've been
- 39:06to one. I went to WrestleMania twenty two at the Elston Arena. Great
- 39:10night, never forget it, amazing time. But yeah, no, WrestleMania
- 39:16number one. Now a lot of people will say, you didn't put elimination
- 39:20Chamber on this list. It's not. This year was fun being in Perth,
- 39:25but honestly, I don't know. There's just something about elimination Chamber.
- 39:30It will be my number eleven. I think all these pay per views,
- 39:35I have more, I've had more fun with. And the only reason I
- 39:37picked one the cell A number nine is because there's been some classic cell matches
- 39:44at the beginning when this first started. But yeah, so that's my list,
- 39:49and you know, not everybody's gonna agree with it. Some people are
- 39:52gonna say, oh man, how could you not enjoy? You know,
- 39:57I love the Elimination Chamber, just not my number one favorite one. So
- 40:01yeah, we're done with the talk about sports. Let's go into some celeb
- 40:05news. Let's see, we're gonna talk about real life couples. This is
- 40:08gonna be fun, Okay, So let's go into this really quick now,
- 40:15all right. So I got this funny because all I was doing was reading
- 40:20an article on Brian Austin Green from now On two and OH, talking about
- 40:24how he would get jealous when Tiffany Theeson would kiss and have some sex scenes
- 40:32with like cast members on Beverly Hills Donald two and O during filming, and
- 40:38because they dated in real life for three years and they lived together and stuff,
- 40:43and he was talking about how he felt he feels bad now because of
- 40:46how he acted back then. She was his girlfriend, but at the same
- 40:51time she was an actress. There were love making scenes, there was kissing
- 40:54scenes with other guys. They never really had that big of a relationship in
- 40:59the show. It was more or less she was with Dylan and I think
- 41:01what Brandon too. Maybe maybe with Steve. I don't remember she was a
- 41:07Steve. It's been a lot of time since I've watched all the nine of
- 41:08two and L episodes, but I mean I religiously watched it as a kid.
- 41:13I was like one of my top five favorite shows of all time when
- 41:16I was a kid. So it got me reading into the article and they
- 41:22had at the bottom of it a list of real life couples that dated because
- 41:29of a TV show that they dated on. So here's a list. I
- 41:32was like, let's talk about it. Let's see who made the list.
- 41:36What celebrities from TV shows have dated in real life, not only on the
- 41:40show, but in real life too. So here we go, and some
- 41:43of these will surprise you, because my mouth dropped when I saw some of
- 41:46these. Two let's see Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer, the one where fans
- 41:52had no idea their favorite friends couple actually had feelings for each other. During
- 41:55the iconic NBC series HBO Max Reunion special, Anniston and Schwimmer admitted they nurse
- 42:01crushes on each other during the first season. As Shwimmer explained, Yeah,
- 42:07the first season, I had a major crush on jen It was reciprocated.
- 42:10Anniston concurred. So why didn't Ross and Rachel's real life counterparts ever officially get
- 42:19together? At some point we were both crushing hard on each other, but
- 42:22it was like two ships passing because one of us was always in a relationship
- 42:25and we never crossed that boundary. We respected that, but we both had
- 42:31and then Matt LeBlanc then interrupted, saying, bull crap, I'm kidding,
- 42:36going honestly just at the co stars maybe did show a little pdam on the
- 42:39set, and then finally shure we're admitted. I'm thinking, how did not
- 42:45everyone know we were crushing on each other? Let's see Kaylee Kucko and Johnny
- 42:51Galecki from The Big Bang Theory Stars dropped a big bomb in twenty twelve when
- 42:57it was reported they had dated for two years, with kuck revealing every detail
- 43:00about the romance only after they split. That's crazy, Mark, Paul Gostler
- 43:06and Lark Vorhees, so Zach Morris and Lisa Turtle dated in real life too.
- 43:10If you thought, say By the Bull characters were romantically cliquish on screen,
- 43:15it was nothing compared to all of the relationship drama going on behind the
- 43:20scenes, all of us dating at one point or another. It was incessuous,
- 43:23Gostler told people in two thousand and nine. Sometimes the girls would gang
- 43:28up on the guys. Tiffany and Elizabeth would hate me, and then they'd
- 43:30hate Lark because Lark was talking to me and Mario was supposed to side with
- 43:35someone. All the stuff we did in high school, like, how could
- 43:37you talk to him? So, yeah, they dated for the longest was
- 43:44the that says in real life. Couple that dated from the longest was Gostler
- 43:46and Vorhees, who were together for three years during the show's later run.
- 43:51Let's see Mark Paul Gostler and Tiffany Theason. Yes, Zach and Kelly dated
- 43:55in real life too, when he wasn't with Lisa while playing one of TV's
- 44:00most beloved pairing, Zach and Kelly the nineties, TV's icons liked each other
- 44:05a lot at Alonso aka Max from The Max One's Dish to Entertainment Tonight.
- 44:09It was very cute. It was handholding and looking over the interview with people
- 44:15these and revealed the first time she drank alcohol she was with Gostlers, saying,
- 44:19Mark Paul and I got to go to Paris for a press tour.
- 44:22We ate crapes and my first sip of alcohol was with him and felt at
- 44:25times like we were Barbie and Ken, or perhaps Zach and Kelly. All
- 44:30right, here's another one, Mark Paul Gosler and Elizabeth Berkeley. He literally
- 44:35dated every girl on that show. It's insane. Yup, Zach Moore is
- 44:38dated all three, I say by the bells leading Ladies, admitting during a
- 44:43twenty nineteen appearance on Anna Faris Unqualified podcast that he briefly wooed Berkeley. You're
- 44:50in an environment, you know how it is, he explained, When you're
- 44:52working on a set and we were young, there's no one around. Really,
- 44:55I mean, you work and you live in a bubble. I also
- 44:59heard that Mark Paul Gosler dated the one that played Tory, so she wasn't
- 45:06really on long enough to be considered a big character, but she was there
- 45:08for a couple of years. And I believe he also dated the one from
- 45:14King of Queens Lea Remedy, when she was on the show for those few
- 45:17episodes. I think they had like a brief thing too. It's insane,
- 45:21Holy crap, these they were teenagers. It's insane to think about Mario Lopez
- 45:25and Tifty Theson. Well, Lopez's ac and Berkeley's Jesse were otp On Saved
- 45:32by the Bell. Lopez revealed he romance Theson in his memoir Just Between Us.
- 45:37He wrote that they went to the movies, went out to eat,
- 45:39hung out at parties, dance together, and eventually became an official couple,
- 45:45but Lopez admitted to being unfaithful, writing I thought that being loyal to Tiffany
- 45:49was the right thing to do, but I can't say I was capable at
- 45:52that age of falling throughout my noble intentions. That's insane. Brian Austin Green
- 45:57and Tory Spelling. Just like in the show, just how serious was the
- 46:00Beverly Hills down A two and O co stars offset romance? It depends on
- 46:05who ask Brian Austin Green, I mean David and Donald. We were on
- 46:08camera together and we were off camera, something Spelling explained on the Women a
- 46:14Top podcast in twenty twenty. Brian and I have different perspectives of what that
- 46:17was. There's the young girl version and the young boy version, so two
- 46:22different accounts. But yeah, so they dated and then it says during a
- 46:27test on twenty fifteen Subbury Line detector, Spelling admitted she was also in love
- 46:32with Green, while also reverally she once kissed Luke Perry and had a summer
- 46:37fling with Jason Breesley. Oh my lord, this is insane to think about
- 46:42all these stars like dipping in the pool of each other. It's crazy.
- 46:45Here's another couple Melissa jone Hard and Ryan Reynolds long before he married Blake Lively,
- 46:51The Deadpool star made out with the nineties on a TV icon after they
- 46:54co starred in the ninety six TV movies Sabrina The Teenage Witch, That's Insane,
- 47:00Kelly Clarkson and Justin Guarini and everybody knew about this one. After years
- 47:05of rumors about a possible off screen romance, Clarkson confirmed that the performers did
- 47:10date, just not well competing against each other. We didn't date during Idol,
- 47:15which everybody thought we were dating, she explained during a twenty fifteen appearance
- 47:21on Watch What Happens Live. We did date a little bit while filming their
- 47:25two thousand and three box Office Bomb from Justin m Kelly So yeah, Miley,
- 47:30Cyrus and Lucas Till. While filming Hannah Montana the Movie in two thousand
- 47:35and nine, Cyrus quietly dated her on screen love interest Vanessa Hudgens and Josh
- 47:42Hutcherson. Following their twy ten split from zac Efron, Hudgens briefly dated her
- 47:49Journey to the Mysterious Island co star, So yeah, that's it. I'm
- 47:55sure there's more, but there's not on this list. But yeah, that's
- 47:59crazy because you know, when you watch these TV shows and you see their
- 48:01chemistry, you don't realize exactly what they're you know that off screen maybe they
- 48:07really have feelings for each other, but sometimes you do. I guess it
- 48:10happens, especially when you're with somebody on a set for months or you know,
- 48:15all day long like that every week, you know, you start seeing
- 48:19each other all the time. Wrestlers too when they travel. In fact,
- 48:22I'm gonna get a list together, maybe for next week or the week after
- 48:25of ww Real Life or wrestling couples of all over the world or you know,
- 48:30all over the place, and we'll see how many actual couples there are.
- 48:35So I'll do that in the next few weeks. Let's go into We're
- 48:38gonna talk to some Oscars. We're on the show with some Oscar Talk.
- 48:42It is this Sunday hosted by Jimmy Kimmel. I have the list of all
- 48:47the awards. There's not as many as you think. There's not as many
- 48:51as some of the other award shows that do music, TV and movies.
- 48:54Oscars is just movies and it's just like the top movie, the top billing
- 49:00movies, not like your action movies. You'll really see Fast and Furious ten
- 49:05and there or any of that kind of stuff. But yeah, so let's
- 49:08go over first. I want to go over a list of who won the
- 49:10most Oscars. I found this list that I want to go over really quick.
- 49:15All right, So here's a list of the most Oscar winners of all
- 49:19time. In the Oscar Awards, a legendary actress, Catherine Hepburn stands out
- 49:23from the crowd with four wins from twelve nominations. All her awards came in
- 49:29the Best Actress category. She won from Morning Glory in nineteen thirty three,
- 49:32Guess Who's Coming to Dinner in nineteen sixty seven, The Lion in Winter nineteen
- 49:37sixty eight, and On Golden Pond in nineteen eighty one. Have Burg collected
- 49:42the first and last of her four Oscars forty eight years apart, famously skipping
- 49:46out on attending the ceremony multiple times. Who's Closing In Six actors have picked
- 49:52up three Oscars for acting, three male and three female. Of those six,
- 49:57two are no longer with us. Walter Brennan picked up three wins in
- 50:00the Best Supporting category in just four years from a total of four nominations.
- 50:06The films he won for were Come and Get It in nineteen thirty six,
- 50:09Kentucky in nineteen thirty eight, on the Westerner in nineteen forty Unfortunately we lost
- 50:15to brilliant Ingrid Bergmann in nineteen eighty two. She picked up the Best Actress
- 50:20prize for Gaslight in nineteen forty four in Anastasia in nineteen fifty six from seven
- 50:25nominations. In nineteen seventy four, she claimed the Best Supporting Actress award for
- 50:30Murder on the Orient Express. Contenders who could still match or beat Hepurns record
- 50:36are naturally household names. Jack Nicholas Nicholson, Sorry, not the golfer.
- 50:40The actor Jack Nicholson has three wins from twelve nominations so far, although the
- 50:46rumor is that he called time on acting in twenty eighteen. His impressive career
- 50:52took two Best Actor Awards for One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest in nineteen seventy
- 50:58five and As Good as It Gets in nineteen ninety seven. His third was
- 51:00for the Best Third Supporting Actress Statue for nineteen eighty three's terms of endearment.
- 51:07Daniel Day Lewis has three wins from six noms, despite his frequent many retirements.
- 51:13Dave Lewis's three best awards came from My Left Foot in nineteen eighty nine,
- 51:17There Will Be Blood in two thousand and seven, and Lincoln in twenty
- 51:21twelve. He retired after completing twenty seventeen's Phantom Thread, one of his Oscar
- 51:27nominations. Things are a little more competitive on the Best Actress side. Meryl
- 51:31Street received and astounding twenty one nominations and received the award on three occasions.
- 51:37She won for Best Actress Award for Sophie's Choice in nineteen eighty two and The
- 51:42Iron Lady in twenty eleven. Before that, she also picked up the Best
- 51:45Supporting Actress prize for Versus Cramer in nineteen seventy nine. However, the big
- 51:52surprise that Meryl Street might not be first in line to match Catherine Hepburn's Hall.
- 51:58She has stiff competition Frances McDorman, who has already picked up four Oscars,
- 52:04although only three in the acting categories. Her most recent Academy award was
- 52:08for Best Picture as a Producer. So I don't understand why that one count
- 52:13though? Why does it have to be for actor actress? Why couldn't it
- 52:15be for something else? The whole thing is your name is attached to the
- 52:19award. Her most recent Academy Award was for Best Picture as the producer of

- 52:45four. I don't like let's say I'm an I'm one two more oscars.
- 52:52He won one for Lose Yourself, So why wouldn't that count? I don't

- 56:47three or four awards in the Oscars. So that's an amazing list. Some
- 56:52of them may have a chance to move up eventually because some of them aren't
- 56:55done acting. Some are retired, you know. Obviously, some may come
- 56:59up to retirement and do another movie. Who knows and won an Oscar.
- 57:02But this year we're focusing on the twenty twenty four Oscar Awards, and that's
- 57:07how we're gonna end the show. Next week, I'll let you know who

- 58:51that she didn't get it, for playing Barbie that she didn't get nominated,
- 58:54Like how does that even happen? Like I don't understand it, Like,
- 58:58look at that best actress in the leading role. It's a billion dollar movie.
- 59:02How can you snub somebody like that? And for Best Picture, well,
- 59:07we ain't even go in the Best Picture yet, but I don't think
- 59:09the movie again nominated. So let's go into let's see animated feature film.
- 59:17Dominee is The Boy and the Hair on Elemental. That was a good movie.
- 59:22Nemona Robot Dreams and Spider Man Across the Spider Verse. I saw that.
- 59:28I'm hoping that one wins. It was pretty decent cinematography. The nominees
- 59:32are Edward Lackman for Alcanda, Killers of the Flower Moonrigo Presto Masto, Matthew
- 59:42Lebique. I'm probably damaging a lot of these names, but I'm saying to

- 1:01:38and hairstyling We've got. I'm not gonna say all the names. There are
- 1:01:43a lot of names, but the nominees are from the movie golda Mustaro,
- 1:01:47Oppenheimer, Poor Things, and Society of the Snow musical original score, American
- 1:01:54Fiction by Laura Kirkman, Indiana Jones and the Dalla Destiny, John william Killers
- 1:02:00of the Flower Moon Robbie Robertson, That's an easy name, Oppenheimer, Ludwig
- 1:02:06Grossen and Poor Things Jerskin Frederick's music, original score, The Fire Inside.
- 1:02:14I'm Just Ken from Barbie. It never went away from American sympathy. Was
- 1:02:21TI a song for my people? From Killers of the Flower Moon and What
- 1:02:24I Was Made For? From Barbie. That's Billie Eilish and Phineas O'Connell,
- 1:02:29her brother. So that's pretty cool. I hope they win that one,
- 1:02:34either that or possibly from the Barbie movie. I'm just Ken. That was
- 1:02:39a pretty decent song from what I saw, and here we go the last
- 1:02:43couple of ones. Oh, and it was more than that. That's a
- 1:02:47lot. There's a ton. I'm just gonna you know, we're not gonna
- 1:02:51go over everything because there's too many. You'll be watching the show if you
- 1:02:54want to watch it. But last one will go over Best Picture, American
- 1:02:59Fiction, Anatomy of the Fall, Barbie, Oh, it is for Best
- 1:03:04Picture, Okay, Margo Robbie's name is attached to this. Let's see,
- 1:03:09so she is mentioned in that, so she'll go up. I don't know
- 1:03:13if she's snubbing it. She should after not being up for Best Actress.
- 1:03:17I think that's crime. The Holdovers, Killers of the Flower Moon, my
- 1:03:24Stroom, Oppenheimer, Past Lives, Poor Things, and the Zone of Interest.
- 1:03:30So those are some of the big awards from this year's Oscars. You
