Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Hey, everybody, welcome to tea time with Damien bed. What's up, sister.
- 0:07Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 0:08Speaker 3: It seems like the month of transitions. It seems like
- 0:11Speaker 3: the last few months it's transitions. Yeah, and then we're
- 0:16Speaker 3: on a full moon, right, we have a full moon
- 0:18Speaker 3: coming up tomorrow tomorrow.
- 0:22Speaker 2: I was listening to a guy.
- 0:23Speaker 3: He was it was an older guy, and I don't
- 0:25Speaker 3: It was on TikTok, so you know it's freaking factual true.
- 0:31Speaker 3: But I will tell you that he was talking about
- 0:33Speaker 3: that we receive information about three hours actually before the
- 0:36Speaker 3: full moon, that we download information. So how valuable and
- 0:39Speaker 3: important it is to put out your water, which.
- 0:41Speaker 2: I like to do. I like to have.
- 0:43Speaker 3: I have blue bottles because I love blue blasts, but
- 0:45Speaker 3: I like to put it out the under the sun
- 0:47Speaker 3: and go through the moon cycles and stuff too, and
- 0:49Speaker 3: then I'll drink it after it's been out for a
- 0:50Speaker 3: few days so it's all charged zip And I know
- 0:53Speaker 3: it's the difference. So I was preparing my water when
- 0:56Speaker 3: you sent me the message. Otherwise I would have been
- 0:57Speaker 3: on here earlier in preparation. And it's like, if it's
- 1:01Speaker 3: true or not true, well, I guess that's whatever.
- 1:04Speaker 2: I decide to believe.
- 1:06Speaker 3: So if I want to believe and set my intentions
- 1:08Speaker 3: that's the way it is, then that's the way it is.
- 1:11Speaker 3: It's so funny because I didn't have any idea what
- 1:12Speaker 3: we're going to be talking about. I'm like, I don't
- 1:15Speaker 3: know because I have I feel like I'm so far
- 1:18Speaker 3: from spirituality lately.
- 1:20Speaker 1: That's are you in your jacked up stage?
- 1:24Speaker 4: I am.
- 1:25Speaker 3: I'm in my spiritually jacked phase, you know, going through
- 1:28Speaker 3: the processes.
- 1:29Speaker 4: Yep.
- 1:29Speaker 3: That's my brain grandkids for like the last eleven days,
- 1:33Speaker 3: and so it's been let me tell you something, let
- 1:39Speaker 3: me tell you something, good girl. I you know, it's
- 1:43Speaker 3: funny that it's so easy to think that because I've
- 1:46Speaker 3: raised kids that I have all the answers. I never
- 1:48Speaker 3: thought that I had all the answers, but I felt like, well,
- 1:51Speaker 3: if they would do this or do that, do that,
- 1:52Speaker 3: and it's like they're doing the best they can, honestly
- 1:56Speaker 3: and recognizing it's not my job to fix It's not.
- 1:59Speaker 2: There nothing wrong that I need to fix anything.
- 2:02Speaker 3: The one things that I think are wrong that I
- 2:04Speaker 3: need to fix are things that maybe I experienced that
- 2:06Speaker 3: I felt was wrong. And so that's an inside job.
- 2:09Speaker 2: It's not. It's not my kids and my grandkids. It's not.
- 2:13Speaker 3: They're doing the best they possibly can. I don't know
- 2:15Speaker 3: how they do. I don't even know how they do.
- 2:17Speaker 3: What they do right now is like after having the
- 2:18Speaker 3: kids is like, good lord, you can't fold close that
- 2:22Speaker 3: little boy, the youngest one, is like he's out there
- 2:24Speaker 3: unfolding everything as you fold it.
- 2:26Speaker 2: You're trying to cook dinner.
- 2:27Speaker 3: He's climbing over the baby gate to get into the kitchen,
- 2:29Speaker 3: like he is freaking fast. And so it's like it's
- 2:32Speaker 3: it's awesome and also recognizing like putting one down, then
- 2:37Speaker 3: the other one had to wait till you could lay
- 2:39Speaker 3: them down too.
- 2:39Speaker 2: So it was like it was a process and it
- 2:42Speaker 2: was extended.
- 2:42Speaker 3: It was late nights every single night, getting up at
- 2:45Speaker 3: you know, going to bed around eleven twelve, and then.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Getting up early, you know, because that's just the way
- 2:50Speaker 2: it was.
- 2:51Speaker 3: So it's I have learned a lot in the last
- 2:54Speaker 3: few weeks, but the biggest thing I will take out
- 2:55Speaker 3: of is my kids are doing the best they can.
- 2:58Speaker 2: They could always use more help.
- 3:00Speaker 3: Honestly, I think that we're recognizing that, we could recognize
- 3:03Speaker 3: that for our families not to think that we have
- 3:05Speaker 3: to go in and fix it or be judgmental about anything,
- 3:08Speaker 3: because that's not what our jobs are. We're guides, that's
- 3:11Speaker 3: all that's we'd guide, that is it. It is not
- 3:15Speaker 3: my job to go in and fix what I think
- 3:17Speaker 3: is could be different. It's functional for how the kids
- 3:22Speaker 3: are and and then their in their lives and that chaos.
- 3:26Speaker 2: But I also recognize that's not my chaos anymore. It's
- 3:29Speaker 2: not something I want as my chaos.
- 3:31Speaker 4: Right, and and it would be uh, instead of just assuming.
- 3:41Speaker 1: That you know what they need or.
- 3:46Speaker 4: Thinking you have the answer or you know how to
- 3:48Speaker 4: do it better or anything, is like just simply ask, hey,
- 3:52Speaker 4: where do you need help? How can I help you?
- 3:54Speaker 4: Because their idea of help may be completely on the
- 3:58Speaker 4: other side of the spectrum of what you think it
- 4:00Speaker 4: is as an observer, Yes, and so yeah, asking the questions,
- 4:05Speaker 4: getting the input, getting the feedback. Where do how can
- 4:10Speaker 4: I help you? Where do you need help? What can
- 4:12Speaker 4: I do to help your life be a little easier
- 4:15Speaker 4: because I see there's a lot going on here.
- 4:18Speaker 3: Yeah, but because they're busy, you know, you know, trying
- 4:21Speaker 3: to not have daycare, babysitters and all that stuff so
- 4:24Speaker 3: that they're all working together the best they can and
- 4:26Speaker 3: trying to make things work. And it's like I see it.
- 4:28Speaker 3: I see the manipulation from the littles. Yeah, I mean
- 4:32Speaker 3: I see a.
- 4:33Speaker 2: Lot of stuff. But it's again, it's that my stuff.
- 4:35Speaker 3: That's their family dynamics, that's how they get their needs met.
- 4:38Speaker 2: It's not it's not even for me to judge in it.
- 4:41Speaker 3: That's been a huge thing for me, and it's and
- 4:44Speaker 3: also appreciating my own downtime and how valuable it is
- 4:49Speaker 3: there your downtime when you have littles. It's so easy
- 4:52Speaker 3: to think that because we used to always say, you know,
- 4:54Speaker 3: take the time, find take a breath or whatever, but
- 4:57Speaker 3: sometimes you don't even have that. You get a kid
- 5:00Speaker 3: arching into the bathroom while you're in the bathroom, or
- 5:02Speaker 3: you don't have time to yourself to take a shower.
- 5:05Speaker 3: So it's like recognizing all those things. But it's like
- 5:08Speaker 3: then it's taken advantage of that time that you when
- 5:11Speaker 3: you're at work and you can take a breath, or
- 5:12Speaker 3: when you're driving that you can breathe easy, or it's
- 5:16Speaker 3: finding the little times that you can And I don't
- 5:18Speaker 3: know what that looks like for someone with an active
- 5:20Speaker 3: life style like that, and honestly, I don't want to
- 5:23Speaker 3: know what it looks like they've got. Our jobs are
- 5:26Speaker 3: to lead them back home, to guide them back into themselves.
- 5:29Speaker 2: That's it.
- 5:30Speaker 3: Yeah, And that goes for everybody, and I gotta do
- 5:33Speaker 3: it for me first, and so that's what that's what
- 5:35Speaker 3: I've been doing.
- 5:35Speaker 4: The last few months nice at a at a coaching client,
- 5:41Speaker 4: and that was one of the things. She lives with
- 5:44Speaker 4: her daughter, and her daughter is a talker, and so
- 5:48Speaker 4: when after working all day long, the daughter's an adult
- 5:53Speaker 4: has a child as well, so they all live together.
- 5:57Speaker 4: But the mom, it was like, you knows, you know,
- 6:01Speaker 4: I work all day, I'm taxing my brain on all
- 6:03Speaker 4: these things I'm learning, and I'm struggling with it and
- 6:07Speaker 4: you know, in certain ways.
- 6:08Speaker 1: And then I.
- 6:10Speaker 4: Get home and she just wants to talk and talk
- 6:12Speaker 4: and talk and talk and talk and and well, in
- 6:16Speaker 4: that is she has a fifty minute drive home, and
- 6:20Speaker 4: I said, what do you do on your drive home?
- 6:23Speaker 4: And she's, well, I'm listening to a podcast where I'm
- 6:25Speaker 4: listening to you. I said, okay, maybe that fifty minutes
- 6:28Speaker 4: in your vehicle is your time to decompress on your
- 6:32Speaker 4: way home, breathe, enjoy the quiet, you know, and then
- 6:38Speaker 4: you're kind of ready. You already know she's going to
- 6:40Speaker 4: be a talker when you get there. She wants she's
- 6:42Speaker 4: excited about sharing her day, so you can mentally prepare yourself,
- 6:48Speaker 4: as you know, to walk in the door and know
- 6:51Speaker 4: she's gonna just start talking. And she started practicing as
- 6:55Speaker 4: she's like, Wow, what a difference. So, yeah, life just
- 6:59Speaker 4: be when you're sitting on the toilet that you take
- 7:02Speaker 4: three deep breaths and that's all you have. But how
- 7:05Speaker 4: many times a day do you go to the bathroom, Yeah, exactly,
- 7:09Speaker 4: or you're you have to go to the grocery store.
- 7:12Speaker 4: Just take a moment and take a few deep breaths
- 7:14Speaker 4: while you're sitting in the parking lot or ile who cares.
- 7:19Speaker 2: Yeah one.
- 7:21Speaker 3: And the thing on the other side of that is,
- 7:23Speaker 3: we don't know how long that person's going to be here.
- 7:25Speaker 3: So sometimes on a soul level, I feel like and
- 7:27Speaker 3: it makes me feel emotional. On a soul level, we
- 7:30Speaker 3: don't know how much time that we have with those people,
- 7:34Speaker 3: whether there are children or not. To say, there's no
- 7:37Speaker 3: such thing as death, really, there's no it is. It
- 7:39Speaker 3: doesn't even exist fabricated shit anyways. A shift for stenergy,
- 7:46Speaker 3: Yeah it was, but it's like just recognizing that it's
- 7:50Speaker 3: to appreciate those moments that we have I instead of
- 7:52Speaker 3: me getting wrapped up in all the stuff. Not to
- 7:55Speaker 3: say that I didn't a couple of times, but it's
- 7:57Speaker 3: taking that breath and then recognizing, I don't know how
- 7:59Speaker 3: long I have these people in my life. Honestly, I
- 8:02Speaker 3: don't know how long they're going to be in this
- 8:03Speaker 3: experience with me, And so I would find myself just
- 8:07Speaker 3: an appreciation of everything again, like appreciating the kids, the
- 8:11Speaker 3: grown kids, like they're doing the best they can and
- 8:14Speaker 3: trying to, you know, make ends me and doing their
- 8:16Speaker 3: jobs and yeah, you know, there's so much. There's so
- 8:19Speaker 3: much that goes into all of it. So it's just
- 8:21Speaker 3: recognizing all that.
- 8:23Speaker 2: His time is so weird here it is.
- 8:28Speaker 3: I listened to sad Guru and he said something about
- 8:31Speaker 3: when have you ever seen a dead man? And the
- 8:34Speaker 3: guy says, well, I've seen a dead body before, and
- 8:35Speaker 3: he says, but that's not a dead man.
- 8:38Speaker 2: I said, you never He says, you never die.
- 8:41Speaker 3: You never die ever. You transition from one place to
- 8:44Speaker 3: the next. But you never die, so what's to be
- 8:47Speaker 3: scared of.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Like the way he was.
- 8:50Speaker 3: Just supplying that information was pretty astounding to myself because
- 8:55Speaker 3: I was like, that's true.
- 8:56Speaker 2: I mean, I've seen a dead body before. I've seen
- 8:59Speaker 2: dead bodies before. It's but it's a.
- 9:02Speaker 3: But the essence of that that body is not there anymore.
- 9:06Speaker 3: And so there's a shift to talk about shifting gears.
- 9:10Speaker 3: But hey, I'm just saying that's just this is how.
- 9:12Speaker 2: My brain works.
- 9:13Speaker 4: Yeah, no worries. You know, when you go going back
- 9:18Speaker 4: to I don't need to fix anything. I'm gonna I'm
- 9:24Speaker 4: gonna apply that to a work environment because we just
- 9:27Speaker 4: had this experience that, uh, two people at work or
- 9:34Speaker 4: but butting heads in their own way. Of course, my
- 9:39Speaker 4: belief is they're vibrational match to each other.
- 9:42Speaker 1: They're going to figure it out or they're not. It's like,
- 9:45Speaker 1: you're bringing this on yourself.
- 9:49Speaker 4: And the one person who is having the major tiff
- 9:55Speaker 4: ah apologize to the other person for their behavior, where
- 9:59Speaker 4: they other person is very a lot younger, like by
- 10:03Speaker 4: fifty years younger almost, and she.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Didn't apologize back. So that was.
- 10:16Speaker 4: Not received well that she didn't apologize. Also, so then
- 10:21Speaker 4: it was I got involved because I kind of let
- 10:26Speaker 4: it be. And then the one that was having the
- 10:30Speaker 4: major issues that said, I need to talk to you.
- 10:32Speaker 4: And this was like the next day, it's like, sure,
- 10:36Speaker 4: well she brought this up. Well I apologize to her,
- 10:38Speaker 4: and she didn't apologize to me, okay, And then it
- 10:44Speaker 4: was and I said good morning to her and when
- 10:47Speaker 4: she walked in and she didn't say anything.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Okay.
- 10:52Speaker 4: So you're going to allow your joy, your good mood
- 10:58Speaker 4: to be affected by somebody saying good morning to you
- 11:01Speaker 4: or not, or apologizing or not. So it doesn't matter
- 11:05Speaker 4: if it was her or me or anybody else in
- 11:07Speaker 4: this building. If we don't say good morning, that's our business.
- 11:10Speaker 4: We don't have to say good morning to you. Yeah,
- 11:13Speaker 4: you have to be responsible for your joy and how
- 11:16Speaker 4: you're going to receive that. And if you're going to
- 11:19Speaker 4: let it ruin your entire day, that's on you. That's
- 11:21Speaker 4: your responsibility, not mine, hers or anybody else's. So go
- 11:26Speaker 4: thinking along the lines of needing to fix anything, I
- 11:30Speaker 4: was not willing to, And I said, I'm not going
- 11:33Speaker 4: to control this situation and make her apologize because your
- 11:40Speaker 4: your good mood is contingent on what she does, and
- 11:43Speaker 4: that's not on her, that's on you. So I removed
- 11:48Speaker 4: myself from that fixer mode and thinking them thinking that
- 11:57Speaker 4: it was her, thinking it was my responsibility to fix
- 12:00Speaker 4: this situation.
- 12:01Speaker 1: And I and I didn't.
- 12:04Speaker 4: And she didn't receive that well, and I'm like, your
- 12:09Speaker 4: joy is your responsibility. I can't fix that and nobody
- 12:13Speaker 4: in here can. So you need to figure that out.
- 12:16Speaker 4: It was like, not what she was expecting from me.
- 12:20Speaker 3: No, you know, it's it's also recognizing an attachment to
- 12:24Speaker 3: an outcome, doing something in it with an expectation of
- 12:27Speaker 3: something to go your way, apologizing because you're expecting the
- 12:31Speaker 3: other person to apologize, which which also takes it into
- 12:34Speaker 3: not being a very genuine apology. Right, So just because
- 12:37Speaker 3: we say the words, yeah, the words don't matter. They
- 12:41Speaker 3: come out flat, They come out flat, and perhaps the
- 12:44Speaker 3: other person knew that, and maybe energetically the other person
- 12:47Speaker 3: knew that I'm just throwing this out there the possibility,
- 12:50Speaker 3: and so they responded the way they felt. They knew
- 12:53Speaker 3: that it was not possibly knew that it was not
- 12:55Speaker 3: a genuine apology, and so did not have any response
- 12:58Speaker 3: to it. And then I've and I've been that person
- 13:01Speaker 3: before apologizing like that, because we were taught when we
- 13:04Speaker 3: were kids to go apologize even though we weren't sorry.
- 13:07Speaker 2: But you need to go apologize.
- 13:08Speaker 3: I've had this experience with my grandkids the same thing,
- 13:11Speaker 3: and I understand where my grandson's constantly saying, I'm sorry.
- 13:16Speaker 2: Well, it's okay to say it, I'm sorry.
- 13:17Speaker 3: I said it's not necessary, but it's not okay to
- 13:20Speaker 3: continue doing the same thing over and over and over
- 13:22Speaker 3: again and saying sorry like that's going to fix everything.
- 13:25Speaker 3: It's time to adjust the way you're doing things. Maybe
- 13:29Speaker 3: shift gears, do something a little differently, say it a
- 13:31Speaker 3: little differently, don't do it again.
- 13:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:35Speaker 2: So it's like those responses.
- 13:36Speaker 3: So there's been I feel like we were having so
- 13:40Speaker 3: many parallels that are happening right now in everybody's lives,
- 13:42Speaker 3: and it's so similar. I'm at my daughter's house and
- 13:45Speaker 3: I'm thinking, gosh, I could probably clear up some space,
- 13:48Speaker 3: or I I could recommend, hey, whatever cups, Maybe have
- 13:52Speaker 3: two cups per child out in a cupverod because they're
- 13:55Speaker 3: limited on space, and put the rest into a box
- 13:57Speaker 3: into the garage and you don't have to throw it away.
- 14:00Speaker 3: But you got it and so instead of even recommending
- 14:03Speaker 3: anything that because nobody asked for my opinion, because I
- 14:05Speaker 3: don't need to fix it, I recognize that I need
- 14:08Speaker 3: to do that.
- 14:08Speaker 2: In my own house.
- 14:09Speaker 3: So when I came home, Freeman had already started clearing.
- 14:13Speaker 3: He had cleared a counter, he'd already cleared the cabinet,
- 14:15Speaker 3: he was already doing new things parallels right. He was
- 14:18Speaker 3: already doing the things that I was doing at my
- 14:20Speaker 3: daughter's house, trying to shift things around, and I ended
- 14:23Speaker 3: up not doing it, and then and just cleaning under
- 14:26Speaker 3: underneath the things that were there and putting things back
- 14:28Speaker 3: to where they hat where it was. So it's like
- 14:31Speaker 3: it's just but but there was there's an energy out
- 14:34Speaker 3: there to do those kind of things. There's an energy
- 14:36Speaker 3: about these talking about saying sorry all the time.
- 14:38Speaker 2: There's an energy with all the stuff.
- 14:40Speaker 3: And how I mean, how many times have we gone
- 14:43Speaker 3: to the gone out to eat dinner and we told
- 14:45Speaker 3: the server thank you. We've talked about this long time ago,
- 14:48Speaker 3: but we never really Actually those are just slot words
- 14:52Speaker 3: they hear all day long.
- 14:53Speaker 2: But what if when you do that, you say thinking, you.
- 14:56Speaker 3: Put your hand on your heart, or what if you've
- 14:57Speaker 3: stopped for a second and think, I really do appreciate
- 15:00Speaker 3: everything she's done, and then you say the thank you,
- 15:03Speaker 3: like there's so much things that we can do that
- 15:04Speaker 3: get us in connection with those fields that now that
- 15:07Speaker 3: that's being felt to the other person in that appreciation
- 15:10Speaker 3: is contagious. And now that person's walking around and she's
- 15:13Speaker 3: serving people and having more fun or he is and
- 15:16Speaker 3: having a blast. Because why because you did it differently
- 15:18Speaker 3: than everybody else? Did you shifted her energy? You were
- 15:22Speaker 3: that little drop in the pond.
- 15:25Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 15:26Speaker 4: And interesting enough, between these two, the one person having
- 15:34Speaker 4: the biggest issue with the whole thing was seeing that
- 15:38Speaker 4: the other person was wrong. And the other person had
- 15:41Speaker 4: already told me because she cried about what all the
- 15:44Speaker 4: things that were happening the day before, and she told
- 15:48Speaker 4: me in her tears, I didn't do anything wrong. So
- 15:53Speaker 4: of course she's not going to feel like she needs
- 15:54Speaker 4: to apologize for anything. She didn't feel like she did
- 15:57Speaker 4: anything wrong, whereas the other ones having her perception of
- 16:02Speaker 4: whatever was happening and then blowing it up no doubt
- 16:06Speaker 4: in her head, bumping it up into this bigger picture
- 16:10Speaker 4: that she was believing to be true, but the other
- 16:15Speaker 4: person was not living in that same space with her
- 16:18Speaker 4: to believe that she was wrong. So just that matter
- 16:23Speaker 4: of perspective from that person, So your perspective of their
- 16:29Speaker 4: living conditions and what you could see as an observer
- 16:33Speaker 4: what could be shifted and change. Whereas they're in it
- 16:36Speaker 4: every day and they're just seeing the chaos and the
- 16:39Speaker 4: amount of stuff they have, and they got to do
- 16:41Speaker 4: something with it, and they have these kids and they
- 16:43Speaker 4: got all this, they got to work, and they just
- 16:46Speaker 4: can't focus or have this clear vision of what to do.
- 16:49Speaker 4: But at the same time, you're recognizing it over here
- 16:53Speaker 4: and then at your own home it's taking place because
- 16:56Speaker 4: of that energy. I have that too, Like I'm just like, wait,
- 17:01Speaker 4: I was just thinking about this and it's happening now.
- 17:04Speaker 2: Yeah, talk about steps.
- 17:06Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 17:07Speaker 2: So it's it's closed, it's it's everything.
- 17:09Speaker 3: It's like it's we don't need, we don't need all
- 17:12Speaker 3: the stuff, and it gets kind of overwhelming when you
- 17:14Speaker 3: have so much, so many options, honestly, Like I would
- 17:18Speaker 3: have ten or fifteen coffee cups, probably ten coffee cups
- 17:20Speaker 3: in there. I used one or two, so I took
- 17:23Speaker 3: all the rest of them, put them in a box
- 17:24Speaker 3: and put them away so that when something happens to
- 17:25Speaker 3: one of mine. I have a backup line, I have
- 17:28Speaker 3: extra stuff, or I have something for somebody to take
- 17:30Speaker 3: on the road.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Whatever.
- 17:32Speaker 3: But it's just it's just little things like that, right,
- 17:34Speaker 3: It's just it's and it changes our whole space. That
- 17:37Speaker 3: changes the dynamics, that changes the way the energy fills
- 17:41Speaker 3: in the space, changes everything.
- 17:43Speaker 4: Yeah, and that and they seem to just multiply. The
- 17:51Speaker 4: coffee cups, the lids, the plastic containers, they just somehow multiply.
- 17:57Speaker 1: And you're like, where the heck did all this come from?
- 18:00Speaker 4: And to keep downsizing it.
- 18:04Speaker 3: It's true a long time ago about going through the
- 18:07Speaker 3: closet and getting rid of stuff, you know what I mean.
- 18:10Speaker 2: And I've got stuff in my closet.
- 18:11Speaker 3: I like the color of it, I don't wear it
- 18:14Speaker 3: so and I don't, but I don't have a backup plan.
- 18:16Speaker 2: Well, I'm not going to get new stuff until I
- 18:18Speaker 2: get rid of the old stuff. That's just the way
- 18:19Speaker 2: it is. Yeah, it is. I mean, it just doesn't
- 18:22Speaker 2: make sense because you've got a clear space.
- 18:25Speaker 4: Well, and along those lines, I've had people just give
- 18:28Speaker 4: me bags of clothes. So if I bring clothes in,
- 18:32Speaker 4: I'll make a point to pull clothes out and get
- 18:37Speaker 4: rid of whatever it is.
- 18:39Speaker 1: It's like an exchange.
- 18:41Speaker 4: I'm exchange in my own closet, but I get rid
- 18:43Speaker 4: of the stuff that I don't want. So yeah, it's
- 18:49Speaker 4: and then it's all energy and too much of it,
- 18:54Speaker 4: too much clutter, too much of anything. My husband's even
- 18:58Speaker 4: mentioned he's like, we don't even need half the stuff
- 19:02Speaker 4: that's in our kitchen. And almost every time I open
- 19:07Speaker 4: a drawer or anything, I think that, I'm like, why
- 19:09Speaker 4: do we have this? We've had these, I haven't used
- 19:12Speaker 4: them in like five years?
- 19:13Speaker 1: Why do I so?
- 19:17Speaker 2: In time.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Keeps us on our toes.
- 19:21Speaker 2: For sure, it does well.
- 19:23Speaker 3: And I think the thing is, we go around a
- 19:25Speaker 3: lot of times we just don't even we're not in
- 19:27Speaker 3: the now, So you don't even recognize half that stuff's
- 19:29Speaker 3: even there because you're so busy in your head.
- 19:32Speaker 4: Or you know, you're just focused on the one thing
- 19:34Speaker 4: that you need out of the cabinet and you you
- 19:36Speaker 4: finally you grab it, and you don't really acknowledge the
- 19:39Speaker 4: rest of it that's there, that's.
- 19:41Speaker 1: Taking up space.
- 19:43Speaker 2: That's true.
- 19:45Speaker 4: Yeah, and then just recently I had a change in
- 19:50Speaker 4: an organization I'm in and I became the voted in
- 19:54Speaker 4: as the president and so gifts. So I have people
- 19:59Speaker 4: in the club giving gifts, and I've mentioned this before.
- 20:03Speaker 4: I appreciate them. I love the representation of goodness flowing
- 20:10Speaker 4: my way. And now I have these material objects that
- 20:15Speaker 4: I'm like, where am I going to put it?
- 20:17Speaker 1: How often am I going to use it? What am
- 20:20Speaker 1: I going to do?
- 20:22Speaker 4: So I'm like, listen, if you want to give me,
- 20:24Speaker 4: give me a gift card to a restaurant or something
- 20:27Speaker 4: something I can enjoy and eat.
- 20:31Speaker 1: I love food, so I'm all about that.
- 20:35Speaker 3: Nice I ask, like, there's so many different things that
- 20:38Speaker 3: you could do, but it's so useful and never even
- 20:40Speaker 3: thought about it. So we're having this conversation, but really,
- 20:44Speaker 3: there's so many amazing things that we can do as
- 20:46Speaker 3: far as gifts, go big up something like that.
- 20:49Speaker 4: But one thing I've noticed too is more people are
- 20:52Speaker 4: talking about repurposing. So the business or the company I
- 20:58Speaker 4: work for, the or the organization I worked for, the organization,
- 21:01Speaker 4: the nonprofit organization I'm in, We're all just like, we
- 21:06Speaker 4: have all these decorations, we have all these things. Why
- 21:10Speaker 4: are we not repurposing them? Why do we keep buying
- 21:12Speaker 4: more decorations. Every time we have an event, how can
- 21:17Speaker 4: we reuse the things that we're paying storage on?
- 21:21Speaker 2: Yeah, that makes sense, So.
- 21:26Speaker 4: Yes, we're just it's just interesting. And some of it
- 21:32Speaker 4: for sure has to do with, you know, the generations
- 21:36Speaker 4: before us with their mindset of having to hoard things
- 21:41Speaker 4: because they didn't know what was going to happen from
- 21:44Speaker 4: day to day. Or they went through the depression and
- 21:46Speaker 4: the money was not flowing in, so they had to
- 21:51Speaker 4: whatever they had they kept and figured out a way
- 21:54Speaker 4: to reuse it.
- 21:54Speaker 1: In some way.
- 21:55Speaker 4: Right, we aluminum foil and they just clean it and
- 21:59Speaker 4: folded nice and keep it in the closet. So I
- 22:03Speaker 4: think it's we're just coming to that generational another generational
- 22:07Speaker 4: shift where we're just taking a look and looking at
- 22:11Speaker 4: our stuff and going do I really need all this? Why?
- 22:18Speaker 4: And there's stuff in my office right now that I've
- 22:21Speaker 4: I've been looking at for a while thinking I don't
- 22:24Speaker 4: think I need this anymore.
- 22:26Speaker 1: I think it's time for to move.
- 22:28Speaker 3: Yeah, and I hear you on that so much stuff
- 22:33Speaker 3: like that, But I feel like it's a I don't
- 22:37Speaker 3: think it's just that it's just happening with us. I
- 22:39Speaker 3: think it's happening with everybody. We're going through a shift,
- 22:41Speaker 3: and I think we're recognizing the stuff that we value. Like,
- 22:44Speaker 3: take a look around us. Our homes aren't built to
- 22:47Speaker 3: last for hundreds of years. They're not ye they're disposable homes.
- 22:50Speaker 3: They're not made the way they used to be made.
- 22:52Speaker 3: They're not there's no expectation for us to live in
- 22:55Speaker 3: a place for very long.
- 22:57Speaker 2: It's expected for things to break down. You have disposable
- 22:59Speaker 2: vehicle washers and drivers.
- 23:01Speaker 3: So there's so many things that are not made the
- 23:03Speaker 3: way they used to because they're mad to break down.
- 23:05Speaker 3: They're made so that you have to go out and
- 23:07Speaker 3: buy another product. So's it's but I think we're going
- 23:11Speaker 3: away from that. I really think it's starting to go
- 23:13Speaker 3: a different direction. And even recognizing like I'm not willing
- 23:17Speaker 3: to I'm not willing to buy everything that I need
- 23:21Speaker 3: from the grocery store, and I'm willing to stand there
- 23:24Speaker 3: in the next to the fruits and vegetables and body
- 23:26Speaker 3: chests everything and see if this is so, if this
- 23:28Speaker 3: is good.
- 23:29Speaker 2: For my body.
- 23:30Speaker 3: I'm not willing to buy the groceries and stuff that
- 23:34Speaker 3: I used to buy. I'm willing to go outside of there.
- 23:37Speaker 3: I'm willing to go to people that are selling their eggs,
- 23:39Speaker 3: you know, do it. Everybody has a craft, everybody has
- 23:42Speaker 3: something going on. And we got so caught up because
- 23:44Speaker 3: it was so easy to go to the supermarket and
- 23:46Speaker 3: everything was right there, or we got so because we
- 23:48Speaker 3: weren't taking the time because we're all in a big hurry,
- 23:51Speaker 3: but in a hurry to what to die. I mean,
- 23:54Speaker 3: because we already established that we don't die, but in
- 23:55Speaker 3: a hurry to skip out of this body. So it's like,
- 23:59Speaker 3: it's really just look at things and do we really
- 24:01Speaker 3: need to.
- 24:03Speaker 2: Rush around for things? It's not necessary.
- 24:05Speaker 3: And there's such great food out there that people are
- 24:08Speaker 3: growing locally, that's do that stuff.
- 24:11Speaker 2: There's just so many different options.
- 24:14Speaker 3: We get so caught up and thinking we've got to
- 24:16Speaker 3: have the ranch from the store that's got like fifty
- 24:18Speaker 3: thousand freaking ingredients when it really only takes a couple
- 24:21Speaker 3: of ingredients to make it.
- 24:23Speaker 2: So there's all these things. Because it became.
- 24:25Speaker 3: Easier, it was easier, it was simple, it was faster,
- 24:28Speaker 3: it was faster for what you know, we just lost
- 24:31Speaker 3: the processes instead of someone else doing it, so that
- 24:34Speaker 3: now we got someone instead of cleaning your own house
- 24:37Speaker 3: and you can afford it, how someone else come in,
- 24:38Speaker 3: or maybe barter in trade so that they can come
- 24:41Speaker 3: in and clean your house and you do something for them.
- 24:43Speaker 3: It's there's just a different way of looking at everything.
- 24:46Speaker 3: And then it's honoring a word. If you listen to
- 24:49Speaker 3: a lot of people, people don't honor their words. Their
- 24:51Speaker 3: words are just words. Oh oh gosh, I'm gonna get
- 24:54Speaker 3: rid of that. I'm going to give it to you,
- 24:56Speaker 3: and then you find out that it was given to
- 24:57Speaker 3: somebody else. There's no value. And I don't say that
- 25:01Speaker 3: like that. Nobody has value in words, but I see
- 25:03Speaker 3: it a lot frequently, just like using the word sorry.
- 25:06Speaker 3: It's just these words are just thrown around and they're
- 25:09Speaker 3: not being It's not the handshake as it used to be,
- 25:12Speaker 3: like shaken on something that this is our word, is
- 25:15Speaker 3: our word, and that's all that matters. We don't need
- 25:16Speaker 3: to sign a contract, we don't need anything. We just
- 25:19Speaker 3: shok hands. That is our contract. So it's interesting how
- 25:23Speaker 3: things have shifted, but I we see all that, but
- 25:25Speaker 3: I feel like a lot of it's shifting back to
- 25:27Speaker 3: that kind of energy, but in a more balanced way.
- 25:31Speaker 3: Maybe it was taken advantage of or maybe people weren't
- 25:33Speaker 3: honoring their word, and now we're going into space. I
- 25:36Speaker 3: feel like the words being honored, and besides that we
- 25:39Speaker 3: can become more and more telepathic. There's the words aren't
- 25:42Speaker 3: going to matter, and it's your integrity, your energy that
- 25:45Speaker 3: you're offering is what matters.
- 25:48Speaker 4: And you can't fake it, right, Yeah, that's the thing.
- 25:52Speaker 4: You can't fake it. You think you are and you
- 25:55Speaker 4: think you're bluffing people. But more and more people are
- 25:59Speaker 4: getting into and more I'm telling you, more and more
- 26:03Speaker 4: people are using the words intuitive and energy and listening
- 26:09Speaker 4: to the body, and and it's like, yeah, things are
- 26:15Speaker 4: definitely shifting. They have been for a while, but it's
- 26:18Speaker 4: getting more and more and more.
- 26:19Speaker 1: So I love it. Yep, I do too. I think
- 26:25Speaker 1: it's cool.
- 26:27Speaker 4: So it's going back to where we began was I
- 26:33Speaker 4: don't have all the answers and I don't have to
- 26:36Speaker 4: fix everything, and we can use what we're seeing or
- 26:42Speaker 4: perceiving and utilize it to help ourselves. So similar what
- 26:47Speaker 4: that was talking about was, yes, you know, I'm looking
- 26:51Speaker 4: at my daughter's home and realizing I.
- 26:53Speaker 1: Could do something different at my own home.
- 26:57Speaker 4: So she's usualizing this information from area to apply it
- 27:01Speaker 4: to her home, her area. But we can also do
- 27:04Speaker 4: that same thing within ourselves. So when you see people
- 27:08Speaker 4: and their behaviors, their words, their lack of integrity or
- 27:11Speaker 4: whatever that is, whatever you don't like about them, making
- 27:13Speaker 4: a mental note and am I showing up that way
- 27:16Speaker 4: as well? Is that something that I need to work
- 27:18Speaker 4: on within myself? So instead of thinking you're you're there
- 27:23Speaker 4: to try and fix somebody else, which we know you can't,
- 27:28Speaker 4: it's a it's a they're showing you something about yourself
- 27:33Speaker 4: that you could shift and change and grow and expand
- 27:38Speaker 4: in your own awareness, and they're just there to show
- 27:42Speaker 4: that to you. So just moving away from that fixer
- 27:46Speaker 4: mode or thinking you're going to fix something and just
- 27:49Speaker 4: utilize the information you're gaining from the experience with that person.
- 27:56Speaker 3: Yes, because it was all for me in the first place, honestly.
- 28:00Speaker 3: So much growth, so much growth. Yeah, every day telling.
- 28:05Speaker 4: You every single day and I'm in the people business,
- 28:08Speaker 4: like every single day, I'm peopling a lot. And so
- 28:13Speaker 4: I going on two years on this job, and man
- 28:18Speaker 4: talk about personalities and perceptions and interactions and energy and
- 28:26Speaker 4: all the things, and it's like Wow, it's been pretty
- 28:31Speaker 4: very interesting to be on this ride.
- 28:36Speaker 2: Nice, So I agree, I concur.
- 28:42Speaker 4: So, my friends, if these are conversations you're enjoying, this
- 28:46Speaker 4: is why Bev and I come together to We haven't
- 28:49Speaker 4: talked in since the last time, so like two weeks, right, yeah,
- 28:54Speaker 4: and so but whenever we have our conversations, we find
- 28:58Speaker 4: that we're we're living our lives. I was on a
- 29:01Speaker 4: like you said, on a parallel levels, like we're each
- 29:04Speaker 4: experiencing similar things, and then we come together and talk
- 29:06Speaker 4: about it.
- 29:07Speaker 1: It's like, oh my gosh, me too.
- 29:08Speaker 4: So it's not just us, it's not just you as
- 29:13Speaker 4: a listener, it's it's other people in your life as
- 29:15Speaker 4: well who are interested in this type of information. So
- 29:18Speaker 4: be resourceful, share our content, have the conversations, share the links.
- 29:25Speaker 4: We're found on many platforms, so we're on YouTube, Spotify, spreaker, Facebook, Instagram,
- 29:36Speaker 4: and podcast attic. So just know that you're not alone
- 29:43Speaker 4: and there are other people that are seeking these conversations
- 29:45Speaker 4: as well. So any of the final words, I was going.
- 29:48Speaker 2: To say the same thing, so I'll reiterates you're not alone.
- 29:51Speaker 3: Yes, And it's like when you think that you have
- 29:53Speaker 3: all these problems or these experience and nobody else is
- 29:56Speaker 3: experiencing it. I guarantee you that somebody else is. It's
- 29:59Speaker 3: just a little bit different than what yours looks like.
- 30:02Speaker 3: And to go back to those two people that were
- 30:05Speaker 3: seeing each other, you know, knowing one knowing that they
- 30:08Speaker 3: did everything wrong or right, and the other one knowing
- 30:10Speaker 3: that everything right.
- 30:11Speaker 2: What if they both did And that's the whole thing.
- 30:13Speaker 3: We get so caught up in expecting someone else to
- 30:15Speaker 3: do it the way we expect it to be done.
- 30:17Speaker 2: Which expectation is our own, that's our own. Bool. If
- 30:21Speaker 2: you want to go ride that bull, you go right ahead.
- 30:25Speaker 1: Yeah, good luck, hang on tight, hang on.
- 30:30Speaker 4: Yeah all right, friends, thanks for hanging out with us
- 30:33Speaker 4: design with Amien Bed.
- 30:34Speaker 1: We'll see you next time.
- 30:36Speaker 2: Bye.
