- 0:04Speaker 1: let's from a championship backfield to your morning drive.
- 0:08Speaker 2: He'say, Hester and Hester got it?
- 0:11Speaker 3: Baaa bah your.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Locks in to off the bench.
- 0:14Speaker 4: Soil describe control the.
- 0:19Speaker 1: Live from the Raising Kine studio. Here's Jacob Hester and
- 0:23Speaker 1: Matt Flynn.
- 0:29Speaker 5: Yo, and welcome in O TB here on this Wednesday morning.
- 0:35Speaker 3: We are not inside the studio this morning.
- 0:37Speaker 4: We are on location Jake and Flynn here at the garage,
- 0:42Speaker 4: a laundry and tate back in studio. They have given
- 0:46Speaker 4: Flynn a couch, a microphone, and I'm nervous. Hello sir,
- 0:50Speaker 4: Hey buddy, how you doing. Yeah, a microphone on an
- 0:53Speaker 4: arm here, which is not a really.
- 0:58Speaker 6: Perfect thing for a diagnosed square.
- 1:00Speaker 3: I can't.
- 1:01Speaker 6: I'll move around a lot, so we're gonna see if
- 1:03Speaker 6: I can stay connected. I don't have a lot of faith.
- 1:07Speaker 6: What an incredible setup this is though. Here again, we're
- 1:10Speaker 6: at the garage. Told you yesterday we'd be here, very
- 1:14Speaker 6: excited to be here, heard a.
- 1:16Speaker 3: Lot about it. Now we are here.
- 1:17Speaker 4: But I do not have a lot of faith in
- 1:19Speaker 4: you not to grab that microphone. Pull that microphone. I
- 1:23Speaker 4: hope this thing is actually bolted in and not just
- 1:26Speaker 4: on an arm.
- 1:28Speaker 6: Yeah. What's those super sticky things that you get at
- 1:31Speaker 6: command hooks. Yes, hopefully it's just not on a command
- 1:33Speaker 6: hucks that's going to rip off.
- 1:36Speaker 3: Yes it will.
- 1:36Speaker 6: And again I don't think so here at this place,
- 1:38Speaker 6: everything that's pretty buttoned up here, pretty buttoned up.
- 1:40Speaker 3: Yes, yes, it is a linger Tata.
- 1:42Speaker 4: As we said back in studio, A lot to get
- 1:45Speaker 4: to today.
- 1:47Speaker 3: I know you were diving into the World Cup.
- 1:49Speaker 4: Obviously check we didn't get any but we didn't get
- 1:52Speaker 4: any messages like we did about MESSI after he missed
- 1:56Speaker 4: the PK with Ronaldo.
- 1:57Speaker 6: No, I was watching. I was locked into that game
- 2:00Speaker 6: on in my office yesterday. I don't let's get a
- 2:02Speaker 6: little little my high work done. And uh yeah, pretty
- 2:05Speaker 6: impressive he comes off. I think after the first game
- 2:08Speaker 6: everyone was kind of a little bit this guy washed
- 2:11Speaker 6: up or what well he is? Our age he is
- 2:15Speaker 6: he should be, he absolutely should be washed up, for sure,
- 2:19Speaker 6: But no, he goes out and they were they were
- 2:22Speaker 6: like every time I looked up, they had a shot
- 2:24Speaker 6: on goals. So they were not playing a very good team.
- 2:27Speaker 6: I don't remember who it was.
- 2:30Speaker 3: Then, Yeah, yeah, I think that's a first year to
- 2:32Speaker 3: play feels wrong.
- 2:34Speaker 6: I think so first year to play soccer, it felt
- 2:36Speaker 6: like it. It felt like it at times. Yeah, he
- 2:39Speaker 6: he gave it his best to get a hat trick,
- 2:41Speaker 6: didn't do it, but he hit about thirty other shots
- 2:43Speaker 6: that were on goal.
- 2:44Speaker 4: The guy so I don't remember the name, but the
- 2:47Speaker 4: person that sent in on the text line the parlay
- 2:50Speaker 4: they almost hit did they almost hit it?
- 2:52Speaker 6: They almost miss they were they were hit the first three,
- 2:56Speaker 6: didn't they?
- 2:57Speaker 4: So they had Croatia winning by two goals in Croatia
- 3:01Speaker 4: won by one gy I think. But they had Ghana,
- 3:04Speaker 4: they had uh dr Congo, they had Portugal at everything
- 3:10Speaker 4: right except that one, because Ghana I think was my
- 3:13Speaker 4: like ingles minus five fifty or something crazy like that.
- 3:17Speaker 3: And then then it ended up in a draw.
- 3:19Speaker 6: So tied. They I told you they were going to tie.
- 3:23Speaker 6: They tied, they were gonna tie.
- 3:26Speaker 4: That was crazy odds though to begin with like minus
- 3:28Speaker 4: five fifty.
- 3:29Speaker 6: They played England.
- 3:30Speaker 3: Yes, you kind of called that a little bit, I know,
- 3:34Speaker 3: thank you.
- 3:34Speaker 6: I mean, obviously I called it because of the dad joke,
- 3:38Speaker 6: because of the deep knowledge that I had, But you
- 3:41Speaker 6: said they were kind of overrated.
- 3:44Speaker 4: Every Look, they've got star players, they've got the Jimmy's
- 3:48Speaker 4: and the Joe's, but any major tournament, it's like they
- 3:52Speaker 4: got to disappear.
- 3:53Speaker 3: Chow up.
- 3:54Speaker 6: Is it Harry Kane?
- 3:57Speaker 3: Yes?
- 3:58Speaker 6: Is it Henry Kane? It's Harry. Yeah, I told you.
- 4:01Speaker 6: I texted a group the other day. I said, I
- 4:04Speaker 6: don't know what it is. Well, there's just something about
- 4:06Speaker 6: your face. Yeah, it's got a very punishable face.
- 4:09Speaker 3: He's actually he is actually a massive NFL fan.
- 4:12Speaker 6: Okay, yeah, Well a lot of people are so all
- 4:16Speaker 6: right cool.
- 4:17Speaker 4: Well, no, you know that they'll do the things where
- 4:19Speaker 4: like they'll they'll put the NFL logo in front of
- 4:22Speaker 4: the guys in the World Cup and like, hey, guess
- 4:24Speaker 4: this team and nobody has any chance or any shot.
- 4:27Speaker 4: They'll do that and like he is like the only
- 4:29Speaker 4: one that can get all thirty two.
- 4:31Speaker 6: Oh okay, got it.
- 4:33Speaker 4: So it's like on draft time when they go to
- 4:35Speaker 4: Broadway in Nashville.
- 4:36Speaker 6: Oh so they do like for the World Cups, they
- 4:38Speaker 6: did the video. It's like they do on like the
- 4:40Speaker 6: schedule release day. Yes, yeah, got it. But they're asking
- 4:43Speaker 6: people with accents.
- 4:45Speaker 4: Yes, So it makes it funnier Okay, we call them
- 4:48Speaker 4: dummies because they don't know who the Dolphins are, big.
- 4:50Speaker 6: Dum dummies with accents. Yes, right, Well, congratulations to Harry
- 4:56Speaker 6: for being an NFL fan. The work really hard to
- 5:00Speaker 6: make sure that people in Europe are NFL fans. So
- 5:03Speaker 6: glad that it's working.
- 5:04Speaker 4: They are very hard. There's going to be a lot
- 5:06Speaker 4: of games. Yeah, I did you see Kittle the other day?
- 5:10Speaker 6: He made some comments about that which peaked my interest,
- 5:15Speaker 6: and we when they announced all the games, like the overseas,
- 5:20Speaker 6: the games abroad this season in the NFL, It's like,
- 5:23Speaker 6: I get it if you want to do one or two,
- 5:27Speaker 6: but to do one every single week.
- 5:30Speaker 3: Is wild to me.
- 5:31Speaker 6: And then I don't know if the forty nine ers
- 5:34Speaker 6: are playing in Australia, but he was commenting on the
- 5:37Speaker 6: Australia game.
- 5:38Speaker 4: So forty nine Ers rams in Australia, which why is
- 5:41Speaker 4: that game going to Australia?
- 5:43Speaker 6: Why is that game? So he said his comment was, Look,
- 5:47Speaker 6: we are going to travel seventeen hours on a plane
- 5:50Speaker 6: and then we're going to play in a completely different
- 5:52Speaker 6: time zone, not just a little bit, just but like
- 5:54Speaker 6: a completely He's like, how is that conducive to player
- 5:58Speaker 6: safety and player.
- 5:59Speaker 3: Health, which is what the NFL preaches.
- 6:01Speaker 6: They preach on everything, and so that's like the number
- 6:04Speaker 6: one thing that players hit them back with when they
- 6:07Speaker 6: want to, when there's a rule change or something that
- 6:09Speaker 6: doesn't really meet up with their number one, the one
- 6:12Speaker 6: of their biggest slogans. So I found that interesting. I
- 6:16Speaker 6: think the abroad games are I think they're good to
- 6:21Speaker 6: an extent, do one or two a game to create
- 6:24Speaker 6: that awareness, change up the country, whatever. But having won
- 6:27Speaker 6: a week, my god, that is so much, so much pressure,
- 6:31Speaker 6: like physically on those athletes, on those players to do that.
- 6:36Speaker 3: I think I think it stinks. I enjoyed. Did you
- 6:41Speaker 3: do it? Ever? No?
- 6:43Speaker 6: Now, I know you had a great experience. Great, and
- 6:44Speaker 6: I'm sure that people do. But like an East Coast.
- 6:48Speaker 4: Team going from you know, the Bills going to London,
- 6:51Speaker 4: it's like, you know, was it five hour flight?
- 6:54Speaker 3: Four and a half hour flight? Uh no, that's that's
- 6:57Speaker 3: more than that.
- 6:57Speaker 6: You think, Yeah, it's like six and a half to
- 6:59Speaker 6: get to Ireland, and so it's probably like seven or
- 7:02Speaker 6: eight to get d England.
- 7:04Speaker 3: I need someone to check Flynn math here.
- 7:06Speaker 6: I phone Island and I flowed to the very like
- 7:08Speaker 6: western most part of the island that you can get to.
- 7:11Speaker 6: It's from New York City there, and it was like
- 7:13Speaker 6: six and alf.
- 7:14Speaker 4: You could be right, you named fifteen European countries yesterday.
- 7:17Speaker 3: I don't want to overstep here.
- 7:18Speaker 4: Not a big deal, all right, So, but like maybe
- 7:20Speaker 4: maybe that would make sense though, But to go to
- 7:23Speaker 4: Australia and to have one of the best games between
- 7:27Speaker 4: the two best teams, right going over to Australia, Like,
- 7:33Speaker 4: I I agree, grow the great like, but grow the
- 7:36Speaker 4: game in the preseason or something. They used to do
- 7:38Speaker 4: the game where they would go to I think they'd
- 7:40Speaker 4: go to Tokyo or something and they play a game
- 7:41Speaker 4: in the preseason.
- 7:42Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, do that July twenty seven. That's fine.
- 7:46Speaker 4: Let that game grow. Like it's those fans un They're
- 7:50Speaker 4: going to be packed in the preseason cheering for whatever.
- 7:53Speaker 6: They don't care, Like you could go hold up. You
- 7:56Speaker 6: could go hold up, may work out over there and
- 7:59Speaker 6: it would probably be just the same. I don't know
- 8:01Speaker 6: like what to like to what extent, Like you're not
- 8:03Speaker 6: going to put a team in Australia. Maybe, yeah, putting
- 8:08Speaker 6: a team in Australia, maybe London. You can put a
- 8:10Speaker 6: minor league league.
- 8:12Speaker 4: They might put one like the Jaguar.
- 8:15Speaker 6: Like they could. Yeah. I got to see them. Yeah, Okay,
- 8:18Speaker 6: are they going to go to London? Maybe because they
- 8:20Speaker 6: played twice a year in London. Maybe, But Australia Brazil
- 8:26Speaker 6: I don't think so. What's the point. We're trying to
- 8:30Speaker 6: sell more jerseys in Brazil.
- 8:34Speaker 3: They're adding more by the way next year.
- 8:38Speaker 6: Yeah, why not play half the games of it?
- 8:40Speaker 4: It's it's not that's not it's not going away. It's
- 8:43Speaker 4: only going to continue to grow. It's gonna go to
- 8:45Speaker 4: other countries as well. It used to be just in
- 8:48Speaker 4: in England. Now Australia, Brazil, Spain, Germany, it's going all over.
- 8:55Speaker 3: Yeah, what's what? Why? Just tell me why?
- 8:59Speaker 4: I didn't say there has to be there is a
- 9:02Speaker 4: dollars and cents. I mean the Saints are playing in
- 9:05Speaker 4: France Steelers, Well.
- 9:07Speaker 6: They're what what do they?
- 9:09Speaker 3: What are they?
- 9:10Speaker 6: They're an affiliate with France, Yes, they.
- 9:13Speaker 4: Remember, like an affiliate with certain countries and some makes sense,
- 9:18Speaker 4: like the Saints in France.
- 9:19Speaker 6: Well that was cool when they announced it, but then
- 9:21Speaker 6: the same week they also announced like the Browns were
- 9:23Speaker 6: two with France and they announced the other couple of
- 9:26Speaker 6: teams with.
- 9:26Speaker 4: You don't think wait, when you think about Paris and France,
- 9:32Speaker 4: you don't think Cleveland a.
- 9:33Speaker 6: Mistake by the Lake. Absolutely. First thing I put together
- 9:38Speaker 6: that well mascot, the onus fisticuffs up, Well, that's better
- 9:41Speaker 6: than a Brown football helmet. Gross All right, Well, you know,
- 9:49Speaker 6: I don't think that. I don't think the Cleveland Brown's organization,
- 9:55Speaker 6: their logo. I don't think that travels internationally. I don't
- 10:01Speaker 6: think it travels down the street in Ohio. No. Got
- 10:05Speaker 6: a couple of neighborhoods that are fans.
- 10:07Speaker 4: And speaking of the Cleveland Browns, we thought maybe they
- 10:10Speaker 4: would do something that we didn't agree with, But turns
- 10:13Speaker 4: out nobody actually did what we thought could happen. Supplemental draft.
- 10:25Speaker 4: We'll talk about that. That's a big deal when we
- 10:29Speaker 4: come back here on O TV. Off the bench, all right,
- 10:36Speaker 4: go to get Gordon dot Com Gordon Curnin injury attorneys.

- 11:36Speaker 6: dot com.
- 12:03Speaker 2: Tiger's turn talkers. This is off the.
- 12:06Speaker 4: Bench, all right, welcome back in oh t be here
- 12:12Speaker 4: live from the garage. I always forget when we're on location,
- 12:16Speaker 4: like we'll be listening to music, and today could be
- 12:19Speaker 4: tricky with it being R and B Wednesday and it
- 12:21Speaker 4: just shuts off.
- 12:23Speaker 3: Yeah, warning, Yeah, I don't like to shut up. We
- 12:25Speaker 3: got to fix that.
- 12:26Speaker 6: I think there's they got the tech out there somewhere somehow.
- 12:29Speaker 6: How do you know that?
- 12:30Speaker 3: Wait, how do you know they have the tech?
- 12:32Speaker 6: Well, I mean we can we can clone animals, Jake,
- 12:36Speaker 6: we can still listen to music this Jurassic Park now,
- 12:39Speaker 6: I mean, I mean it's kind of come true a
- 12:42Speaker 6: little bit.
- 12:42Speaker 4: Okay, Well, I mean I guess anything is possible because
- 12:45Speaker 4: people thought it was possible that somebody, somebody was going
- 12:49Speaker 4: to be able to bet on their team while they
- 12:52Speaker 4: were playing on said team.
- 12:54Speaker 6: Do we ever get the results that you win?
- 12:56Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 12:57Speaker 6: That's what we do. That's what the people really need
- 12:59Speaker 6: to know. How good is it he did? Okay, so yeah,
- 13:02Speaker 6: he bet ninety thousand dollars on his own team. But like,
- 13:05Speaker 6: did he win? Yeah?
- 13:07Speaker 4: Because when Kaisha and Booty had this happen, remember they
- 13:09Speaker 4: had the stats, like they had the information. This is
- 13:13Speaker 4: how much you bet, this is how much he won.
- 13:15Speaker 4: We haven't have we heard that. I don't think we have.
- 13:18Speaker 6: If like, if you're in the chat right now, Yeah,
- 13:21Speaker 6: let us know if he won, because we kind of
- 13:26Speaker 6: need to know. Yeah, that's the important part, right, What
- 13:30Speaker 6: he didn't win, are you a winner? What he didn't
- 13:32Speaker 6: win was a supplemental draft. And I was so surprised.
- 13:36Speaker 4: And Nick Underhill, who I mean, look, Nick's got a
- 13:39Speaker 4: ton of sources, ear to the ground, the whole deal.
- 13:41Speaker 4: Hopefully he's flying right now, safely to Hawaii. He thought
- 13:45Speaker 4: he was going to get drafted. Yeah, and it was
- 13:47Speaker 4: kind of a softball topic. I thought, a softball question
- 13:49Speaker 4: we gave to him yesterday. He's definitely going to agree
- 13:51Speaker 4: with us, like NFL is definitely punishing this kid now
- 13:55Speaker 4: even I mean he went as far as like he
- 13:58Speaker 4: thought like a third or fourth round under which is
- 14:00Speaker 4: a prize possession NFL draft choice. So that was surprising.
- 14:06Speaker 4: But look, this isn't just to pick on Nick. It
- 14:09Speaker 4: was over on NFL Radio the show before ours. Me
- 14:13Speaker 4: and Pat were listening. They're like, he was talking about
- 14:15Speaker 4: like crazy first second, third, We're like, who, yes, on
- 14:21Speaker 4: the NFL shield the whole deal, And we were shocked, Like, guys, listen,
- 14:30Speaker 4: the NFL is going to tell teams what the situation is, right,
- 14:36Speaker 4: and even if this player was a first rounder, which
- 14:41Speaker 4: maybe he could have played his way into it. This year,
- 14:44Speaker 4: the NFL is just not going to do distraction. They're
- 14:47Speaker 4: just not going to do it. It doesn't really matter
- 14:49Speaker 4: unless you're like, you have to be such a Hall
- 14:52Speaker 4: of Famer. Like I always go back to you remember
- 14:55Speaker 4: when Terrell Owens was like trying to go back and forth,
- 14:58Speaker 4: and I think it was with the Eagles at the time,
- 15:00Speaker 4: and there was cameras at his house.
- 15:01Speaker 3: He's doing sit ups in his front.
- 15:02Speaker 4: Yard or whatever, and hester real, no one's gonna play
- 15:05Speaker 4: tre Owns is a gold jacket guy. He had already
- 15:08Speaker 4: proven that he's a gold jacket guy. So you know, yeah,
- 15:10Speaker 4: but the track game, that's what I'm saying. Brett Farv
- 15:13Speaker 4: when he went from the Packers to the Jets, right,
- 15:17Speaker 4: remember that photographer. Yeah, here he came up with the
- 15:21Speaker 4: spider crown. Like there there was things but right, wrong
- 15:25Speaker 4: or indifferent. That was Brett Farv. It's a Hall of
- 15:28Speaker 4: Famer old jacket member. When you are somebody that has
- 15:34Speaker 4: done a lot of good things and you're a great player,
- 15:36Speaker 4: like you can get away with some things other people can't.
- 15:38Speaker 4: And they'll tell you that in meeting rooms in the NFL.
- 15:40Speaker 4: You always talk about Aaron Rodgers being late one time. Yeah,
- 15:43Speaker 4: and then we'll drafting guys like, hey, Aaron was late
- 15:45Speaker 4: last week. Why do I get cut? It's Aaron Rodgers's okay.
- 15:49Speaker 6: That's not fair. I'm sorry, it's not It's not fair
- 15:51Speaker 6: in any walk of life, like yeah, you earn your break, yeah, and.
- 15:55Speaker 4: You had to have that kind of status built up.
- 15:57Speaker 4: Brittan Sorzby doesn't have that, and he was on him,
- 16:01Speaker 4: like betting on his team that he was playing for.
- 16:05Speaker 4: He was never going to get drafted in a supplemental draft.
- 16:08Speaker 4: It wasn't going to happen. He's not eligible for free agency.
- 16:11Speaker 4: He has to wait until twenty twenty seven. You can't
- 16:13Speaker 4: be like, oh, well they just didn't want to use
- 16:15Speaker 4: a draft choice and then they'll sign him as a UDFA.
- 16:18Speaker 4: You can't be a UDFA if you don't put your
- 16:20Speaker 4: name in the original NFL draft. So you have to
- 16:25Speaker 4: now pat your chest one time, Britain Soresby, you did it.
- 16:31Speaker 3: Nobody nobody was like doing this with your name. It
- 16:35Speaker 3: was you.
- 16:38Speaker 4: You hear me talk about this all the time, Like
- 16:40Speaker 4: coaching youth sports, one of the things I hate the
- 16:43Speaker 4: most is when kids put their arms out well like
- 16:45Speaker 4: it's not my like that immediately tells me it's not
- 16:48Speaker 4: my fault.
- 16:51Speaker 3: I hate it.
- 16:52Speaker 4: It's such bad body language, and it's from him. It's
- 16:55Speaker 4: trying to throw the well. But every and every time
- 16:58Speaker 4: something goes wrong, sue them. Hey, Brendan, hey, one time
- 17:03Speaker 4: in your life, pat your chest and say I messed up.
- 17:07Speaker 4: This is my bad and not like in a letter
- 17:09Speaker 4: and no, get it, sit down. I messed up. Here's
- 17:15Speaker 4: what I'm going to do to fix it. That would
- 17:17Speaker 4: go such a long way with a lot of people
- 17:20Speaker 4: opposed to just and we're gonna sue everybody.
- 17:22Speaker 3: Got good luck sue in the NFL. See how that goes.
- 17:25Speaker 6: For you with those guys.
- 17:27Speaker 4: They got a couple of lawyers in their New York
- 17:28Speaker 4: office that probably do pretty well.
- 17:32Speaker 6: This came across yesterday. I got the i'll send him
- 17:35Speaker 6: off as I got the alert from Chefter.
- 17:38Speaker 3: Of course he's breaking.
- 17:42Speaker 6: The next day. So I get this news and I
- 17:47Speaker 6: just looked at it for a second. First of all,
- 17:49Speaker 6: a screenshot at text the group, and I was like, yep,
- 17:51Speaker 6: we were we were right obviously again, And I was
- 17:55Speaker 6: like man, I don't know, you know, outside of like
- 18:00Speaker 6: direct sports news, championships, super Bowl, NBA championships, the draft,
- 18:08Speaker 6: draft order, whatever, outside of like direct sports results. To me,
- 18:12Speaker 6: this is the biggest sports story of the year, this
- 18:16Speaker 6: one move because NFL made drew a line in the sand,
- 18:22Speaker 6: and they made it public. They made it public. What
- 18:26Speaker 6: they're where the line is like, you cannot cross this,
- 18:29Speaker 6: and we're making it public. They didn't say, you know what,
- 18:33Speaker 6: you can, We'll do this supplemental draft, probably no one
- 18:37Speaker 6: will take you. Whatever, you'll be eligible to go free agent.
- 18:41Speaker 6: We'll let the we'll let the system decide and we'll
- 18:43Speaker 6: just like let this kind of go away on its
- 18:45Speaker 6: own because teams, you know, we'll send a memo to
- 18:47Speaker 6: the teams whatever. No, they decided to take a pretty
- 18:50Speaker 6: public stance here and say, Nope, this isn't happening. We're
- 18:53Speaker 6: not putting up with it. You can't go back to
- 18:55Speaker 6: college and you can't come here, right. You can go
- 18:57Speaker 6: if you want to go find another professional lego play
- 18:59Speaker 6: in Canada, go do whatever you want, but you're not
- 19:02Speaker 6: going to do it under our showld. They drew a
- 19:05Speaker 6: line in the saying and to me, that is like
- 19:06Speaker 6: the biggest story that I've seen come through sports this
- 19:10Speaker 6: year outside of direct results on games or league championships,
- 19:14Speaker 6: whatever it is, and it's it's if you think about it,
- 19:18Speaker 6: it's not surprising at all. This is not a surprise
- 19:21Speaker 6: move by the NFL. We've been in the NFL. We've
- 19:24Speaker 6: been in those conversations, we've been in those team meetings
- 19:27Speaker 6: before the season where they're like, protect the shield, protect
- 19:31Speaker 6: the shield, protect this shield. They always say that do
- 19:34Speaker 6: you think they were gonna let a college kid? No,
- 19:37Speaker 6: that may or may not be a top three round
- 19:41Speaker 6: pick next year, who knows? Do you think they're going
- 19:44Speaker 6: to let him go? And potentially even if there's a
- 19:47Speaker 6: one percent chance that he affects their cash flow, their
- 19:52Speaker 6: business model, their shield, everything that they've built, their games
- 19:57Speaker 6: that they're flying all over the world for every single week,
- 20:00Speaker 6: going to Australia, going to Brazil, going to Europe. You
- 20:02Speaker 6: think they're going to let some college kid that bet
- 20:05Speaker 6: on his team in college underage bet bet four years later? Yeah,
- 20:11Speaker 6: like we're going this is this isn't a one time deal.
- 20:13Speaker 6: This has been a trend with him, right, No, it
- 20:17Speaker 6: ain't gonna happen. They're not even going to allow it. So,
- 20:20Speaker 6: like my thought was, I didn't know how they could
- 20:24Speaker 6: do it. I didn't know, Like I'm learning day by
- 20:26Speaker 6: day here, I didn't know you could just like not
- 20:28Speaker 6: do the supplemental draft. I thought it was done every year.
- 20:30Speaker 6: I had no idea. I had no it did. Only
- 20:32Speaker 6: three supplemental drafts have been like over the last nineteen years.
- 20:35Speaker 4: Yeah, because if a team doesn't turn anything in, they
- 20:38Speaker 4: don't hold it right, right, and so it's very very rare.
- 20:42Speaker 4: There's been NFL quarterback since nineteen ninety. Yeah, the NFL said, no,
- 20:46Speaker 4: we're not even going to allow y'all to turn it in. Yeah,
- 20:49Speaker 4: it's just it's just done well. So in the NFL
- 20:53Speaker 4: did send out a letter to source being his team,
- 20:56Speaker 4: and this is just part of it. As Commissionery Goodell
- 20:59Speaker 4: has emphasize, participation in the NFL is a privilege that
- 21:03Speaker 4: carries with it significant responsibilities, including accountability. By all accounts,
- 21:08Speaker 4: you are a talented player with the potential for future success.
- 21:11Speaker 4: We encourage you to focus on preparing for possible entry
- 21:15Speaker 4: into the NFL through the twenty twenty seven NFL Annual Draft.
- 21:21Speaker 3: That part of it kind of leaves the door open.
- 21:23Speaker 4: Hey, you can go do things to prove that you're,
- 21:25Speaker 4: you know, doing the right things, and then hey, we'll
- 21:28Speaker 4: talk about letting you potentially into next year's draft. But
- 21:32Speaker 4: the thing that stood out to me about the letter
- 21:35Speaker 4: when it says it carries significant responsibilities and they included
- 21:40Speaker 4: including accountability. That's them saying pat your chest one time, dude,
- 21:46Speaker 4: say that you messed up. Quit trying to blame everybody else.
- 21:50Speaker 4: Quit trying to send out letters, Quit trying to sue everybody. Dude,
- 21:54Speaker 4: you messed up in a very big way. But we
- 21:58Speaker 4: are a land of second chances. Go earn a second chance,
- 22:01Speaker 4: a second chance. I'm all for it. It should not
- 22:04Speaker 4: be given to you if you earn the right to
- 22:07Speaker 4: have a second chance by going to the UFL, playing well,
- 22:12Speaker 4: doing the right things, not betting on your team, and
- 22:15Speaker 4: you're a great teammate and all those going to Canada,
- 22:18Speaker 4: hell going to the Arena League, whatever it is.
- 22:21Speaker 3: But you got to go prove something. You have to
- 22:23Speaker 3: go earn something.
- 22:24Speaker 4: I'm not going to give you this second chance because time,
- 22:29Speaker 4: because it's been a year.
- 22:30Speaker 6: What can he do?
- 22:33Speaker 3: He can goes.
- 22:35Speaker 6: The he's the mindset, calm down the nerves, for the
- 22:41Speaker 6: NFL to be like I am healed, I will never
- 22:43Speaker 6: gamble again. Can he He can.
- 22:45Speaker 3: Go play in a league that's part of it, and
- 22:48Speaker 3: he can be a part of it. He can.
- 22:50Speaker 4: He is in a process. I don't look, I don't
- 22:54Speaker 4: I don't know, gamblers Anonymous like I don't, I don't
- 22:56Speaker 4: know what.
- 22:56Speaker 3: I don't know that situation.
- 22:58Speaker 6: The NFL actually really cares if some but he is
- 23:00Speaker 6: gambling and secretly the only thing he can.
- 23:03Speaker 3: Do, I don't know, is to get out of the
- 23:05Speaker 3: headline us like.
- 23:06Speaker 6: Geolocation is to get people out of the headlines and
- 23:11Speaker 6: have people forget about it. That's the best thing he
- 23:13Speaker 6: can do.
- 23:13Speaker 3: Well, yeah, that's a portion of it. For sure.
- 23:16Speaker 6: He has to be out of the headlines. People have
- 23:18Speaker 6: to forget about it, and they if but he has
- 23:21Speaker 6: forgotten about in the NFL doesn't care.
- 23:23Speaker 4: But he does have to go to look again. He
- 23:25Speaker 4: has to go to some rehab process. He has be
- 23:28Speaker 4: on something.
- 23:29Speaker 6: He better be on the speaking to her for gamblers Anonymous,
- 23:32Speaker 6: he better be doing public speaking about it. I don't know.
- 23:36Speaker 4: Something to that nature, yes, like if he's going to
- 23:38Speaker 4: be an advocate for what not to do, like.
- 23:40Speaker 6: He like in the public eye. I don't know what
- 23:43Speaker 6: he can do. I don't know if there's enough time
- 23:45Speaker 6: between now and next year's draft to mend that image
- 23:50Speaker 6: enough to where the NFL is like, you know what,
- 23:51Speaker 6: all right, we're not going to punish you. We'll give
- 23:53Speaker 6: you a shot.
- 23:54Speaker 4: Look, I don't know, because the UFL season is going
- 23:58Speaker 4: to be after or that process next year. They just
- 24:01Speaker 4: finished up. I think Canada is what they're going right now.
- 24:03Speaker 4: If I'm not mistaken, so immediately you got to go
- 24:07Speaker 4: do that.
- 24:07Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 24:07Speaker 4: You can't not play football for a year. You can't
- 24:10Speaker 4: not go through some kind of a process of rehabilitation.
- 24:14Speaker 4: You have to start that, and has to start right now.
- 24:16Speaker 4: But it's not going to start if he doesn't take
- 24:19Speaker 4: ownership of what he's like, what he's done. Yeah, we've
- 24:22Speaker 4: all we've all messed up before. There's been things that
- 24:25Speaker 4: we have done. There's different levels to it, sure, but
- 24:29Speaker 4: the easiest, the best, and the fastest thing to get
- 24:32Speaker 4: over it is to take full.
- 24:34Speaker 3: Responsibility for it.
- 24:36Speaker 4: When the NFL and Commissioner Goodell are sending you a
- 24:39Speaker 4: letter and mentioning accountability.
- 24:42Speaker 3: They notice that as well.
- 24:44Speaker 6: They see that, Yeah, and up to this point, it's
- 24:48Speaker 6: probably been his attorney's advice, like you can't you say nothing,
- 24:52Speaker 6: that's attorney's advice. Like on a lot of things when
- 24:55Speaker 6: things are just starting to happen, they don't say anything right.
- 24:58Speaker 4: Now, let's don't sue somebody when they don't go your
- 25:00Speaker 4: way like they.
- 25:01Speaker 6: Do everything something's happening, and Brennan's like, let's see him.
- 25:05Speaker 6: I mean, he's getting advice right now. Well it's bad advice. Yeah,
- 25:09Speaker 6: And there's a lot of threats, but you know, usually
- 25:11Speaker 6: these threats aren't public in the public eye, so see
- 25:15Speaker 6: it's a pretty Yes, you're right. Everyone deserves second chances always,
- 25:22Speaker 6: and I hope he gets the help, you know, if
- 25:24Speaker 6: help is needed.
- 25:25Speaker 3: I hope he gets the help that he needs.
- 25:29Speaker 6: But there's also there's also consequences to your action, and
- 25:34Speaker 6: he is feeling those consequences as.
- 25:36Speaker 3: He should, Like, yeah, get the help.
- 25:39Speaker 6: I hope you're I hope you're good, buddy, But there's
- 25:41Speaker 6: consequences to it. So like you can't just like have
- 25:45Speaker 6: your cake and eat it too, pal, which I never
- 25:47Speaker 6: understood that same.
- 25:49Speaker 3: Hmm.
- 25:49Speaker 4: Should we break that down today because I never did either,
- 25:52Speaker 4: Like why make the cake that's something we'll break down today. Okay,
- 25:57Speaker 4: Brennan's towards by attorney Jeffrey Kessler told ESPN that the
- 26:02Speaker 4: NFL's decision to not hold a supplemental draft Okay, this
- 26:06Speaker 4: is the quote, it's a violation of the CBA and
- 26:09Speaker 4: the law. We will pursue this immediately with the nfl PA.
- 26:14Speaker 4: How is it a violation of the CBA and against
- 26:17Speaker 4: the law. And also, do you really think the NFLPA
- 26:23Speaker 4: is is going to do anything for you here? NFL
- 26:27Speaker 4: p A is not good.
- 26:28Speaker 6: You're not a part of that association. You're not in
- 26:32Speaker 6: the You're in college and you were betting on your
- 26:36Speaker 6: teams for multiple teams. You're not a part of that.
- 26:40Speaker 4: SLABA is not going to help you if you're in it.
- 26:42Speaker 4: They certainly are going to help you when you're not
- 26:44Speaker 4: in it, and not you don't pay dues to the.
- 26:46Speaker 6: NFL P it's against the CBA, all right? What part? Yeah? Right?
- 26:50Speaker 4: And the law and the law he threw that and
- 26:52Speaker 4: the law he said, the NFL is going to jail.
- 26:55Speaker 4: He says, it's against the CBA and law is good.
- 26:57Speaker 4: All going to jail because jeez, pets from this Jeffrey
- 27:03Speaker 4: Kesseler or somebody. I think he's one of those guys
- 27:05Speaker 4: like when you see the NFL, he's the attorney to
- 27:08Speaker 4: do it.
- 27:08Speaker 6: Oh, he's like not a he's not like a I'll
- 27:11Speaker 6: just assume it. He's like a little college agent, college
- 27:16Speaker 6: kid agent.
- 27:16Speaker 4: Do you think he was like a truck stop lawyer
- 27:18Speaker 4: from Lubbock in the desert.
- 27:19Speaker 6: Well, look like you got your NFL. And I know
- 27:23Speaker 6: that some of the NFL agents have like dedicated other
- 27:27Speaker 6: agents or attorneys when they're part of their firm to
- 27:29Speaker 6: be like n il college. But I gotta feel like
- 27:32Speaker 6: a lot of these guys are like re'nt a lawyer
- 27:37Speaker 6: attorney from you know that's there's so many college kids. Yeah,
- 27:43Speaker 6: and there's no in the NFL. You have agents that
- 27:46Speaker 6: are qualified, they get certified, they get approved by the NFL. Yes,
- 27:51Speaker 6: like the degrees colleges wildless. Like it's this guy like
- 27:56Speaker 6: this gives me the vibe of all right, I got
- 27:58Speaker 6: this like twenty eight year old, are you just out
- 28:01Speaker 6: of law school? He's like, I want to be an agent.
- 28:04Speaker 6: Let me get you in college. Let's sue the NFL. Yeah,
- 28:08Speaker 6: let's do this.
- 28:09Speaker 3: It was like the first thing I should do.
- 28:11Speaker 6: Fair isn't fair.
- 28:13Speaker 4: So that's the latest with Brendan sores b. Should we
- 28:16Speaker 4: get him on the show, No, I will if he
- 28:20Speaker 4: says like, if he says the right things beforehand, we're.
- 28:24Speaker 6: Going to screen it. We scream people here off the bench.
- 28:27Speaker 6: We screwed our guests for.
- 28:29Speaker 3: Sure, not like that, but like I don't really care.
- 28:34Speaker 4: But like, buddy, you messed up, own up to it,
- 28:39Speaker 4: Go put your head down, go to work. He can
- 28:41Speaker 4: own it right here and own it, and also go
- 28:44Speaker 4: continue to play football, because you're not good enough to
- 28:47Speaker 4: just sit out a whole year and expect to be
- 28:49Speaker 4: where you were before.
- 28:50Speaker 6: I love how all of a sudden, after all this,
- 28:53Speaker 6: like he's so much better of a player now that
- 28:58Speaker 6: the supplemental draft doesn't happened. Oh my god, it's not happening. Yeah,
- 29:02Speaker 6: this guy's a guaranteed first rounder.
- 29:04Speaker 4: The amount of people that know better that have said
- 29:09Speaker 4: that is shocking.
- 29:11Speaker 3: Whoa, whoa, whoa guys, guys.
- 29:12Speaker 4: He's a draftable player and he could have played his
- 29:16Speaker 4: way into that conversation. He wasn't anywhere close to that
- 29:19Speaker 4: conversation though, Like, before all this.
- 29:21Speaker 6: Happened, but now you're right, potential first round pick life
- 29:28Speaker 6: since when since he got caught? Yeah, draft talk, but
- 29:34Speaker 6: everybody's potential first hell yeah they are Hell yeah brother,
- 29:39Speaker 6: you know what I'm saying, same Lovett potential first round pick. Obviously,
- 29:45Speaker 6: all those we had the NBA draft, ye say, all
- 29:48Speaker 6: the Europeans playing for l s U potential first round.
- 29:51Speaker 4: Picks again, Yeah, we got to talk about the NBA draft.
- 29:54Speaker 4: Why and not like in the way that you're thinking
- 29:56Speaker 4: of sports show would, in the way that OTV would,
- 30:00Speaker 4: And we'll do that.
- 30:01Speaker 3: We'll do that.
- 30:01Speaker 4: Can be good when we come back here live from
- 30:04Speaker 4: the garage.
- 30:06Speaker 3: Off the bench, Is it gonna be good?

- 32:04Speaker 6: I know? Hey, chick, Yes, Matthew, don't tell Gordon. I
- 32:12Speaker 6: spilled some coffee on his rug. This looks like a
- 32:16Speaker 6: nice rug too.
- 32:17Speaker 3: Oh man, you spilled that, like foamy stuff that you drink.
- 32:20Speaker 6: Well, it was right before we came back from breaks.
- 32:23Speaker 6: I didn't even have time to go run and get
- 32:24Speaker 6: a napkin, so I was just soaking in there. Now,
- 32:27Speaker 6: this Persian rug, it's like, don't tell nobody, tell Gordon please.
- 32:33Speaker 3: It's like foamy milky stuff too.
- 32:35Speaker 6: It's not like it's cold pham bud, so it looks
- 32:40Speaker 6: like it's really in there. It's caramel comb cold foam.
- 32:45Speaker 4: Yeah, nothing, hey, nothing like some dairy under these bright
- 32:48Speaker 4: lights to sit there and fester.
- 32:54Speaker 6: Oh man, they close our windows there. We never get
- 32:56Speaker 6: a window. Yeah, I can't take you they did. I
- 32:59Speaker 6: can't take you anywhere. Well, you took me somewhere this morning, to.
- 33:03Speaker 4: The and you backed up into the parking spot that
- 33:06Speaker 4: says do not back your car in.
- 33:08Speaker 6: They didn't mean it, that's ad it. So I don't
- 33:13Speaker 6: understand that one bit.
- 33:16Speaker 4: I think their life okay, Well, speaking of that, I
- 33:19Speaker 4: didn't understand the NBA Draft last night. Why because I
- 33:24Speaker 4: didn't know a Jimmy or a job.
- 33:27Speaker 3: What are you talking about? So normally I would know.
- 33:31Speaker 4: And look, I'm kidding, like I knew some of the names,
- 33:34Speaker 4: but not a lot of them. The NBA draft is
- 33:39Speaker 4: they do not They don't do a good job. It's
- 33:41Speaker 4: right after the season, the season just ended. The Knicks
- 33:45Speaker 4: just wanted hype it up a little bit. I mean,
- 33:48Speaker 4: the NFL does a fantastic job of HIPing hyping up
- 33:52Speaker 4: the draft and the combine. I'm not saying to take
- 33:54Speaker 4: four months like the NFL does, but honestly, who really
- 34:00Speaker 4: knew the NBA Draft was happening last night? Now some
- 34:03Speaker 4: of this is because you know, the Pals traded their
- 34:04Speaker 4: picks to the Hawks last year for Derrek Queen and
- 34:07Speaker 4: they didn't have a pick, and so you're not going
- 34:09Speaker 4: to be dialed in. But even so, You're sitting there
- 34:13Speaker 4: and looking at the names, and I'm like going over
- 34:15Speaker 4: the list right now, Like Kingston Flemings from Houston, that's
- 34:19Speaker 4: who went in the spot that New Orleans would have
- 34:21Speaker 4: been picking in.
- 34:23Speaker 3: Who knows who that is.
- 34:26Speaker 6: We were just getting over our hangover from the honest
- 34:29Speaker 6: news that schefter broke, and all of a sudden I
- 34:32Speaker 6: turned on the television. Yes, I was going to put
- 34:34Speaker 6: on some World Cup as a little background fodder at
- 34:37Speaker 6: the house, and the NBA Draft was on. I had
- 34:41Speaker 6: no idea. I mean, that's not surprising anybody, but I
- 34:44Speaker 6: didn't know who the NBA draft was. But I think
- 34:46Speaker 6: I put it in our promo for today's show. I said,
- 34:48Speaker 6: we'll preview the NBA Draft. Yeah, didn't realize that you did.
- 34:52Speaker 4: Absolutely Now, Alan Graves did go so local product. He
- 34:58Speaker 4: went nineteenth overall all to the Toronto rafts.
- 35:02Speaker 3: Okay about the only time I was.
- 35:03Speaker 6: Like, okay, all right, what's what's his name?
- 35:06Speaker 3: Alan Graves?
- 35:07Speaker 6: All right? A L L e In or a L
- 35:09Speaker 6: A N A L e in.
- 35:12Speaker 4: There we go classic Like outside of that, like, the
- 35:15Speaker 4: NBA Draft is just I don't know, they have not
- 35:18Speaker 4: done a good enough job to be able to hype
- 35:21Speaker 4: it up, build it up, and I don't, like, I
- 35:23Speaker 4: don't know what you do and maybe you can't do anything.
- 35:26Speaker 4: I mean, look, the MLB drafts a different situation because well,
- 35:30Speaker 4: we love college baseball. Here, we're going to be excited
- 35:34Speaker 4: because like, oh, yeah, I remember that guy from Georgia,
- 35:36Speaker 4: or yeah, I remember they got from Oklahoma, or I
- 35:37Speaker 4: remember they got from North Carolina when LSU played against
- 35:40Speaker 4: the cover year.
- 35:41Speaker 3: But most of the country doesn't care.
- 35:43Speaker 4: And I get it because it's high school students included
- 35:45Speaker 4: in that as well. So it's like, Okay, NBA, you
- 35:49Speaker 4: have to feel like could do a better job. And
- 35:50Speaker 4: by the way, Alan Graves, who I talked about, he
- 35:54Speaker 4: is brother, no, but he's actually the nephew of you Bill.
- 36:02Speaker 6: How fun is that?
- 36:03Speaker 4: Yeah, little little tied OTB in front of the show.
- 36:07Speaker 4: Obviously Alan Graves obviously clearly. But they got to do it.
- 36:10Speaker 4: They gotta do something. They gotta do a better job.
- 36:12Speaker 4: And the Combine, like think about the NFL, like the
- 36:16Speaker 4: Combine has become its own deal, like national media goes
- 36:21Speaker 4: out and this year was my first year to cover it.
- 36:23Speaker 4: But I mean, they got a room almost like the
- 36:25Speaker 4: super Bowl of media, and people are covering it and
- 36:28Speaker 4: it's like everything that everybody does is like the NFL.
- 36:33Speaker 4: Probably when they first did that, probably didn't have a
- 36:35Speaker 4: lot of fanfare. It was probably like background fodder. You
- 36:40Speaker 4: just got to go forward sometimes and like the NBA,
- 36:43Speaker 4: you gotta you gotta make us excited about your draft.
- 36:46Speaker 6: A little bit better. But because they had the noise,
- 36:48Speaker 6: the draft noise, the dent Okay, well I think they
- 36:54Speaker 6: had that because I recognize that it perked or is that's
- 36:56Speaker 6: the only part I was interested in. I saw the
- 37:00Speaker 6: first pick get picked and I was like, oh, type,
- 37:05Speaker 6: that's it, and then I stopped watching it. Didn't know
- 37:07Speaker 6: didn't know who it was. Let me ask you this,
- 37:10Speaker 6: Do you know like much about the one and done
- 37:13Speaker 6: rule for NBA?
- 37:17Speaker 3: Yeah, it's a it's like, what's the point of it?
- 37:21Speaker 6: Nine of the nine of the top ten kids draft
- 37:24Speaker 6: away last night were wanted done. Guys. Yeah, like, what's what?
- 37:27Speaker 6: What are we doing? What's the point? You know?
- 37:30Speaker 4: You do it so you take you know, away from
- 37:33Speaker 4: high school players, like going directly from high school.
- 37:36Speaker 6: But why if they want to make that decision? The
- 37:38Speaker 6: team wants to make that decision. What's the point if
- 37:40Speaker 6: like they're just going there just so they could eventually,
- 37:43Speaker 6: like just so they could make that. I think the
- 37:46Speaker 6: guy that went number one, he's been projected to be
- 37:47Speaker 6: the number one overall pick in the NBA Draft since
- 37:50Speaker 6: the freshman in high school. Yeah, and but he had
- 37:52Speaker 6: to go to college first. I don't know, Like, what's
- 37:54Speaker 6: the point.
- 37:55Speaker 4: I get what you're saying, but also like I'll take
- 37:57Speaker 4: a year of Cooper Flag at Duke over him going
- 38:00Speaker 4: straight to the NBA.
- 38:02Speaker 6: Yeah, but for that to be a rule, I think
- 38:04Speaker 6: it's stupid.
- 38:08Speaker 4: I think you're trying to protect somebody from making the
- 38:11Speaker 4: wrong decision, because there's been players that have gone straight
- 38:14Speaker 4: from high school to the NBA that hasn't worked out.
- 38:16Speaker 4: And then once you do that, like, well, now on
- 38:19Speaker 4: that come back and you can bake Yeah, why not
- 38:23Speaker 4: maybe not four years of eligibility? Yeah, I mean it's
- 38:26Speaker 4: a stupid rule. I mean how long has that been
- 38:29Speaker 4: been in place? That's been a handful of years because obviously,
- 38:34Speaker 4: you know, for us growing up, we saw players in
- 38:36Speaker 4: Kobe and Kevin Garnett and they decided to go straight
- 38:40Speaker 4: from high school to the pros Lebron obviously did it,
- 38:43Speaker 4: and that.
- 38:43Speaker 3: Was two thousand and four. Yeah, I believe.
- 38:45Speaker 6: I think what the money. Let the money talk these days,
- 38:48Speaker 6: now that nil is in place and people are getting paid,
- 38:51Speaker 6: let the money talk. Like, if you are projected to
- 38:53Speaker 6: go high enough draft pick out of high school where
- 38:55Speaker 6: you're going to make more money there than you would
- 38:57Speaker 6: at college, let him make that decision. And making it
- 39:00Speaker 6: in baseball, I was going to make basketball.
- 39:03Speaker 4: How do you feel about baseball and high school players
- 39:07Speaker 4: being able to go straight from prom to riding a
- 39:11Speaker 4: bus in the minor leagues for five six years.
- 39:14Speaker 6: If that's the decision they want to make, and grown
- 39:17Speaker 6: ups in the room that are drafting them are prepared
- 39:20Speaker 6: to make that decision as well, why not. Yeah, they're
- 39:25Speaker 6: eighteen for the most part. If you're twenty five, maybe, yeah, minimum,
- 39:33Speaker 6: Like everybody's everybody's men, there's grown ups in the room.
- 39:35Speaker 6: There's like you should be able to make that decision
- 39:38Speaker 6: and now, and I think it's an even better decision,
- 39:41Speaker 6: like protect them when there was still the pure the
- 39:46Speaker 6: pureness of student athlete and you couldn't get paid anything. Yeah,
- 39:51Speaker 6: maybe protecting them because it's all about the money now,
- 39:54Speaker 6: I mean, now if you're in high school, you can
- 39:57Speaker 6: go play baseball at LSU and instead of going to
- 40:00Speaker 6: the draft, because you're going to be a secondary third
- 40:02Speaker 6: and make more money there, you know what I mean.
- 40:04Speaker 6: So like that the decisions a little bit, you know,
- 40:07Speaker 6: let's let the money, let the money talk a little
- 40:09Speaker 6: bit more. I don't know, it just it feels that
- 40:13Speaker 6: this is like an antiquated rule, Like that's like it's
- 40:16Speaker 6: just outdated. It is.
- 40:19Speaker 3: Well, every league's different. I mean the NFL, you have
- 40:22Speaker 3: to be three years remode from high.
- 40:24Speaker 6: School, and I what's the difference.
- 40:29Speaker 3: The physicality.
- 40:30Speaker 6: The physicality for sure.
- 40:35Speaker 3: So everybody's got a different baseball.
- 40:37Speaker 4: You can go straight from high school or you can
- 40:39Speaker 4: go and then it becomes an age thing. It's not
- 40:41Speaker 4: a year's thing because if you're a draft eligible sophomore
- 40:44Speaker 4: because of your age, which I mean we're seeing with
- 40:46Speaker 4: like Derek Ryell right now.
- 40:47Speaker 6: Yeah, three years. It's a physical thing. Like if you
- 40:50Speaker 6: can hit a curveball out of high school, go to
- 40:53Speaker 6: you know you want to do that professionally, go do
- 40:55Speaker 6: it now. You're not going to put anybody up against
- 40:58Speaker 6: Aaron Donald out of high school.
- 41:00Speaker 3: Hit a curbal huh, you trying to slay Jesus Christ.
- 41:03Speaker 3: Can't hit a curveball?
- 41:05Speaker 8: They could, that's from Major League. Yeah, what's the guy's name?
- 41:11Speaker 8: Harris got like the mass Lean And.
- 41:15Speaker 6: I always forget every time we go do a show
- 41:17Speaker 6: remote and it's on a couch, I always wear my
- 41:20Speaker 6: short shorts.
- 41:22Speaker 4: I think, I think, I think every time I swear,
- 41:25Speaker 4: I think.
- 41:26Speaker 3: You do it on purpose.
- 41:27Speaker 6: I didn't know. I know because I got in the
- 41:30Speaker 6: car today and I was going to the studio.
- 41:35Speaker 3: You forgot. Well, I mean as soon as I got
- 41:38Speaker 3: out of like my driveway, I was like, oh, yeah,
- 41:39Speaker 3: I gotta get yeah, yeah, and then they clicked in.
- 41:42Speaker 3: It's really let me see exactly what you said to me. Hm.
- 41:50Speaker 6: Better better watch those texts, Bud.
- 41:52Speaker 3: This is I know. This is six oh three am.
- 41:55Speaker 4: Garage, garage, garage, Go to the garage, Jake, Yep, there
- 41:59Speaker 4: you go.

- 42:06Speaker 6: Oh no, No, nobody wants to hear me just freestyle
- 42:10Speaker 6: for three hours.
- 42:11Speaker 3: You've once said that you would just quit.
- 42:14Speaker 2: No.
- 42:14Speaker 6: Yeah, if I got to do a remote by myself,
- 42:16Speaker 6: that's the last you.
- 42:18Speaker 4: You have seen me for the last time. All right,

- 44:13Speaker 3: Great so good.
- 44:15Speaker 4: So there's no chance he's gonna remember Alan Great.
- 44:20Speaker 6: Well. The only reason I did remember it because I
- 44:21Speaker 6: asked you how to spell it a L A N
- 44:24Speaker 6: or a L L E N and and then you
- 44:27Speaker 6: put raise with ty graise and then he's related to
- 44:29Speaker 6: Trey Bill G C O P. So like we've got
- 44:31Speaker 6: this thing here, like Alan, I would say, that's the
- 44:34Speaker 6: classic way, the classic spelling Alan, how they would how
- 44:39Speaker 6: they would have spelled it in the.
