- 0:00Speaker 1: Hi, Hi, you look handsome? Do you? I got a haircut?
- 0:06Speaker 1: Can you guys tell it? Look? Oh? Looking good? Yeah?
- 0:09Speaker 1: Okay short on the sides, well, I don't want to
- 0:13Speaker 1: go so short, So it's sort of a hybrid. I
- 0:16Speaker 1: had to have a conversation, like I said, take like
- 0:18Speaker 1: a month off, and then he did, and I was like,
- 0:25Speaker 1: try six weeks, try six races, this tiniest little trump
- 0:29Speaker 1: up a little, a couple more, a couple more days
- 0:31Speaker 1: off that. What would a complete baldy be? Then? How
- 0:35Speaker 1: many months would that be? That wouldn't be months, that
- 0:39Speaker 1: would be all that would be Take me back to birth.
- 0:44Speaker 1: I've never shaved my head. I probably should. It would
- 0:46Speaker 1: have to be justified by a roll or something, because
- 0:49Speaker 1: I've never I've never other than having a bald cap
- 0:52Speaker 1: on and scrubs. I have no idea what I look
- 0:54Speaker 1: like like a crew cut. I think it would look
- 0:59Speaker 1: really funny on really because of my nose shape. No,
- 1:03Speaker 1: not because no shape. No, I think it's such a
- 1:08Speaker 1: great hair It would be like my nose shape. That's
- 1:12Speaker 1: where you win. And you know I'm self conscious about
- 1:15Speaker 1: my nose. It's big. You wear it well, it's beautiful. Um,
- 1:22Speaker 1: I'm loving the reaction to our Hyundai video. It's been
- 1:26Speaker 1: the people are so funny, Like the overwhelming responses, when
- 1:30Speaker 1: are you going to release the whole episode, which makes
- 1:32Speaker 1: me feel like we should. I think we should. Dude. Yeah,
- 1:35Speaker 1: did you read the comments on the People were like,
- 1:36Speaker 1: this is hilarious. Put out the whole thing. Yeah, people
- 1:39Speaker 1: were like, I would watch this. What I really like
- 1:42Speaker 1: about it is that we're not freaking pushing this car
- 1:45Speaker 1: on you heavily. Yeah, actually comes up in a natural conversation.
- 1:49Speaker 1: I love that. And also and also, no bullshit, the
- 1:52Speaker 1: car's nice, Like it's not like we're a lot of
- 1:56Speaker 1: people in the comments were like, oh my god, I'm
- 1:58Speaker 1: actually considering this car now and the Honday two songs
- 2:01Speaker 1: on our list, and you know, obviously they're an advertiser,
- 2:04Speaker 1: but we I genuinely thought that car was pretty sexy.
- 2:07Speaker 1: It's so comfortable and and all the funny little like
- 2:10Speaker 1: innovative safety features like the attention thing and the and
- 2:14Speaker 1: the blind spots on your dash. That was cool. But dude,
- 2:17Speaker 1: I laughed at us. I laugh every I watched that
- 2:19Speaker 1: video nine hundred thousand times because I helped edit it,
- 2:21Speaker 1: and watching every time you say, chewy nose. I laughed,
- 2:27Speaker 1: chewy nos no, no you go, you go no no
- 2:30Speaker 1: chewy notes Ugh when I laugh at this, let me drive.
- 2:38Speaker 1: That was the room in the back because I saw someone.
- 2:41Speaker 1: One of my comments on my Instagram was car looks hot. Um,
- 2:45Speaker 1: Daniel's a tall guy. Was there enough room for his legs? Oh? Absolutely? Yeah.
- 2:50Speaker 1: I even had a bunch of stuff back there. You
- 2:52Speaker 1: make city like leaning down the video like I had
- 2:54Speaker 1: the equipment. I had some boxes and I was very comfortable.
- 2:58Speaker 1: It was like the armor sound. It was the space
- 3:01Speaker 1: to spare roomy. And someone else wrote, wow, y'all weren't
- 3:05Speaker 1: lying that is a big sunroofn't even like. I was
- 3:11Speaker 1: so concentrated on the floor because that's where all the
- 3:13Speaker 1: recording stuff was. I didn't look up until someone was like,
- 3:15Speaker 1: that's the sunroof. So when you hear me go, oh
- 3:16Speaker 1: my goodness, that is enormous that I like that trend
- 3:21Speaker 1: of a sunroof being the length of a of a
- 3:25Speaker 1: car pretty much. Obviously, obviously you need to be able
- 3:27Speaker 1: to close it because the heat can be oppressive. But yes,
- 3:30Speaker 1: I feel like that's a cool new trend that I appreciate.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Who doesn't do a lot of driving. It's really nice
- 3:37Speaker 1: to be able to just have sort of like beyond
- 3:39Speaker 1: a panoramic view of your surroundings. And it's someone who's
- 3:43Speaker 1: been to a lot of drive ins over the past year.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Those things are excellent for making sure you can see
- 3:47Speaker 1: the screen no matter where you have to park the vehicle.
- 3:49Speaker 1: It's super advantageous. Also if there's a night with beautiful
- 3:52Speaker 1: stars out and you just feel like you're flying through
- 3:55Speaker 1: the galaxy. Oh gosh, did you feel like you were
- 3:59Speaker 1: in the Millennium Falcon? I mean, when am I not
- 4:03Speaker 1: in the Millennium Pope. I had a lot of people
- 4:08Speaker 1: comment like, dude, how could you not know this MCU reference? Oh,
- 4:14Speaker 1: come on, I don't know. I don't know any of
- 4:18Speaker 1: that stuff. Do you care to know um to have
- 4:23Speaker 1: conversations with you? Guys? I do, and my will there
- 4:25Speaker 1: ever be a moment in time where you will have
- 4:27Speaker 1: watched all of the MCU movies and be able to
- 4:30Speaker 1: piece it together like I can? No, But I'll tell
- 4:33Speaker 1: you what. I'm gonna watch Black Widow on July ninth
- 4:36Speaker 1: with you. Hey, Hey, I'm gonna sit next to you.
- 4:39Speaker 1: I'm gonna hold your thigh at exciting parts? Should I
- 4:45Speaker 1: do that thing? What was that movie Batch Their Party
- 4:47Speaker 1: where he puts the hole in the bottom of the
- 4:49Speaker 1: popcorn and puts the peep inside. Oh my, should I
- 4:52Speaker 1: do that with you? On July ninth? I pray that
- 4:55Speaker 1: you don't do that. Did you ever see that movie
- 4:57Speaker 1: batche Their Party with Tom Hanks? Like, I can't eat
- 4:59Speaker 1: the po popcorn after that happens, Well, you wouldn't be
- 5:02Speaker 1: worried about the popcorn, and you'd be worried about the
- 5:04Speaker 1: treats at the bottom. Oh my god, the treats. No.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Have you guys not seen Tom Hanks in the movie
- 5:15Speaker 1: Bachelor Party. I've seen the movie. Yes, there's no way
- 5:19Speaker 1: that it is not completely unmakeable today and unpc and
- 5:24Speaker 1: probably horrible. But as a kid, I remember thinking it
- 5:26Speaker 1: was hilarious. I just remember that ladies nipples were the
- 5:29Speaker 1: size of courts. They looked like quarters. I remember that.
- 5:32Speaker 1: I don't remember that. I remember that it was an
- 5:34Speaker 1: early Tom Hanks movie before he became like family movie guy.
- 5:39Speaker 1: It was like R rated and crazy before Splash. It
- 5:43Speaker 1: was before Splash, definitely before before Money Pit. I don't
- 5:47Speaker 1: know Joel can answer, so I think it was his
- 5:51Speaker 1: first big lead if I'm not mistaken, I mean I
- 5:53Speaker 1: don't know. He was like it was before he became
- 5:55Speaker 1: like this was an R rated movie. I mean it
- 5:59Speaker 1: was crazy. I remember. I remember seeing Big and being like, oh,
- 6:04Speaker 1: this guy's career is going a completely different path. And
- 6:07Speaker 1: I was young when it came out, but I knew.
- 6:09Speaker 1: I was like, Tom Hanks is an amazing actor, dude.
- 6:12Speaker 1: And Big is the perfect example because me and my
- 6:14Speaker 1: friend it was a toss up that night. It was
- 6:18Speaker 1: that or like Funny Farm. It was something like that,
- 6:20Speaker 1: something where it was like something that you don't necessarily
- 6:23Speaker 1: want to see but you know you're gonna laugh. Or
- 6:26Speaker 1: this movie that we knew nothing about. And I remember
- 6:29Speaker 1: going and seeing Big and being like, holy cow, that
- 6:33Speaker 1: the dude from Bachelor Party is a great actor. I
- 6:35Speaker 1: remember talking. But dude, there's a movie scene in this
- 6:38Speaker 1: movie where like they get a donkey for the bachelor
- 6:40Speaker 1: party and like there's all these rolls out on the
- 6:43Speaker 1: table and the donkey does all the pills. What the
- 6:48Speaker 1: donkey like snorts cocaine and like drops all these pills.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Oh it's crazy. Yeah, Bachelor Party everyone, I recommend it
- 6:56Speaker 1: And if it has offensive shit, and then I didn't
- 6:58Speaker 1: make it. I just remember my childhood. You know, both movies,
- 7:03Speaker 1: both Splash Ambachelor Party, came out in nineteen eighty four,
- 7:06Speaker 1: which is, uh, those are two very different movies for
- 7:09Speaker 1: two very different audiences. Starting first, Yeah, I bet you.
- 7:11Speaker 1: When Splash became a giant hit, he was probably like,
- 7:14Speaker 1: oh shit, I've got that all rated. Um, should we
- 7:22Speaker 1: get an episode? Fucking amazing episode, very funny about show
- 7:28Speaker 1: we made about a bunch of doctor nurses said, he's
- 7:35Speaker 1: got stories. Yead around here, yead around This is a
- 7:50Speaker 1: pretty great episode. I mean, it has so much in it.
- 7:52Speaker 1: Did you direct this episode? Who did? I wish I did?
- 7:55Speaker 1: Michael Spiller did, and he did a great job. I
- 7:58Speaker 1: mean that cop tell us about the cong food sequence.
- 8:00Speaker 1: It looks like it took forever to do. And how
- 8:03Speaker 1: much rehearsal did you do? It's just an amazing rehearsal
- 8:07Speaker 1: and then we shot. We rehearsed in the morning and
- 8:09Speaker 1: then shot that afternoon. You rehearsed and shot all in
- 8:13Speaker 1: one day. Yeah. This is before I had any type
- 8:15Speaker 1: of martial arts training or anything like that. I was
- 8:18Speaker 1: just basically doing what I saw on television, right, and
- 8:21Speaker 1: copying Bruce Lee and stuff like that. But now I
- 8:24Speaker 1: think because because of the amount of work I put in,
- 8:29Speaker 1: I'd be like, well, I don't know if that kick
- 8:31Speaker 1: would look real or you know what I mean. I'd
- 8:32Speaker 1: be a little bit more critical of how it looked. Right. Well,
- 8:36Speaker 1: you had the luxury of it being a comedy, so
- 8:38Speaker 1: you could be a little bit silly. But I thought
- 8:40Speaker 1: it was a really well shot by Michael Spiller, and
- 8:43Speaker 1: I thought you and Rob were fucking hilarious. Yeah, right,
- 8:49Speaker 1: get ready for the big door. And then you say
- 8:53Speaker 1: that line from What's it is? An Indiana Jones reference
- 8:56Speaker 1: for you quid fool around with that kid and get
- 8:58Speaker 1: down here? Yeah? Yeah, you picked up on now. No,
- 9:03Speaker 1: I wish I did. Scrubs Wicky. I'm sorry, damn damn.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Scrubs Wicky had some good ones on this episode. But
- 9:09Speaker 1: um got is a big episode. I this might have
- 9:12Speaker 1: been one of the ones that we didn't accomplish in
- 9:15Speaker 1: five days because I it feels larger than than usual
- 9:19Speaker 1: because of the whole um triathlon and your kong Fu thing.
- 9:24Speaker 1: The biggest a lot in this episode set pieces as
- 9:27Speaker 1: we call them in the biz. UM but Yeah. So
- 9:33Speaker 1: the first thing that happens is I'm at your apartment
- 9:36Speaker 1: and Carla wants me out. We're all speaking subliminally to
- 9:40Speaker 1: each other, and you tell me subliminally that you're watching
- 9:44Speaker 1: Giselle in the Victorious Secrets Momo in your spoon. Remember
- 9:50Speaker 1: that that was the thing everyone would I never think
- 9:54Speaker 1: I really watched it, but they would do like a
- 9:55Speaker 1: Victorious Secret show. It was like a Runway show, right,
- 10:00Speaker 1: But they've canceled it. I heard all the Victoria's Secret
- 10:04Speaker 1: model sexy girl thing is over right, Joel. Yeah, I
- 10:08Speaker 1: don't think I had anything to do with like sexy
- 10:09Speaker 1: girls or not. It's just Victoria's Secrets been struggling as
- 10:12Speaker 1: a company with the boom of a lot of new
- 10:16Speaker 1: lingerie ads. A lot of people got ahead of the
- 10:18Speaker 1: like um full range of skin tone nudes before Victoria's
- 10:22Speaker 1: Seaver did they still own a large corner of the market.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Shout out to Core Harrington, who has a Twitter that's
- 10:28Speaker 1: all about lingerie that I'm obsessed with. Um. But yeah,
- 10:31Speaker 1: so they are like, well, we're gonna we're gonna pivot,
- 10:34Speaker 1: We're gonna be like I think they're gonna probably move
- 10:37Speaker 1: in the like body inclusive skin color, and yeah, like,
- 10:40Speaker 1: what's that brand? Is it airy or something that is
- 10:44Speaker 1: a they do do that that For some reason, I
- 10:47Speaker 1: feel like there's a brand that's like embracing all body
- 10:50Speaker 1: shapes and sizes. Wait a second, there's a ton of them. Second,
- 10:54Speaker 1: are you telling me that lingerie is no longer a
- 10:56Speaker 1: thing anymore? Like that's what they're saying, is like Victoria's
- 11:01Speaker 1: secret was clearly like here's what you wear if you're
- 11:04Speaker 1: a six one skinny woman, and look how sexy it looks.
- 11:08Speaker 1: And they're saying, why don't we have more realistic lines
- 11:11Speaker 1: of lingerie for all body types? I'm guessing, and I'm
- 11:15Speaker 1: gonna tell you something right now. Lingerie always looks good
- 11:19Speaker 1: when it's too small. I'm just keeping in one hundred.
- 11:23Speaker 1: When it's all the way up in them, when it's
- 11:25Speaker 1: in the cracks, it's it's better. When it's in the cracks,
- 11:28Speaker 1: it's better. That's a good T shirt. Let's get that.
- 11:31Speaker 1: Am I Am I wrong? Um? Oh? It depends I
- 11:34Speaker 1: think three dudes? Am I wrong? Well? Three dudes, um
- 11:40Speaker 1: and one and a woman who likes women. So I
- 11:42Speaker 1: think you you can ask the question. Um, I think
- 11:44Speaker 1: that it all depends on what everybody likes, right, so
- 11:47Speaker 1: everyone likes the wrong thing. Do you like that lingerie
- 11:50Speaker 1: that has like the straps down the leg and all
- 11:52Speaker 1: that shit. As long as it's in the cracks, I'm
- 11:56Speaker 1: all good, Oh my god, that's your only requirement is
- 11:59Speaker 1: that it's in the crack. It has to be in
- 12:01Speaker 1: the crack of revealing the better. So you don't like
- 12:04Speaker 1: it if there's like satin covering the butt. You want
- 12:06Speaker 1: it in the crack. I want that ship to look
- 12:09Speaker 1: like I would listen, Lord, like it's coming off. That's amazing,
- 12:15Speaker 1: it's coming off because that just because of that, just
- 12:19Speaker 1: because of the freaking shot. Um. If it listen, it's
- 12:22Speaker 1: coming off in five minutes, in less than five minutes anyway,
- 12:25Speaker 1: you know what I mean? Like that. That's the other
- 12:26Speaker 1: thing I don't understand about it. I'm always like baby
- 12:28Speaker 1: put on some lingerie. She puts it on and within
- 12:31Speaker 1: two minutes it's not on her anymore. Right, But it's
- 12:33Speaker 1: for the moment where you're like, damn, that's a glorious
- 12:37Speaker 1: it's Lord wearing um anything in that picture. I don't know,
- 12:43Speaker 1: I don't know. How do you know? Did you zoom Daniel,
- 12:48Speaker 1: did you zoom? No? I did not zoom. Zoom zoom. You.
- 12:55Speaker 1: I know I couldn't. I couldn't tell um if Lord
- 13:00Speaker 1: was This is the sentence I've never said, I couldn't
- 13:02Speaker 1: tell if Lord was nude. She definitely has decided to
- 13:11Speaker 1: show off her bum. Yes, she said, I'm gonna jump
- 13:16Speaker 1: over that cameraman. Yeah, but you can't tell if she's
- 13:20Speaker 1: wearing a ba a bathing suit or not, or or
- 13:23Speaker 1: or a bomb. Daniel, I didn't zoom, so I don't know, Daniel.
- 13:28Speaker 1: I'm now that you've taken a good look Daniel. Yeah, Daniel,
- 13:32Speaker 1: now that you've looked on this, because you're the one,
- 13:36Speaker 1: You're the one. I was like, zoom, Yeah, it looks
- 13:39Speaker 1: to me like she is wearing underwear, yes, or a
- 13:42Speaker 1: bathing suit. Yeah. I imagine at the photos shoot she
- 13:45Speaker 1: wasn't going to jump over the cameraman naked. So there
- 13:47Speaker 1: you go. Joel, did you did you see the Joel zoom? Yeah?
- 13:51Speaker 1: I saw it. I assumed it was. I don't think
- 13:55Speaker 1: you need to zoom back when my Lissa can see
- 14:01Speaker 1: her pretty well. It's Lord, Hey, what's up? Um? Yeah? Well,
- 14:09Speaker 1: I think that's gonna sell some albums. I don't know
- 14:11Speaker 1: if I don't know how the music is, but everybody
- 14:14Speaker 1: likes a nice bum. Oh it's not slapping. Lord's a
- 14:17Speaker 1: great artist. It's all slapping, dude. I'm gonna tell you
- 14:20Speaker 1: why now. Man, she ain't had a real hit since Royals, though,
- 14:23Speaker 1: Keep it one hundred. That's the fire, that's the real deal.
- 14:27Speaker 1: Holy feel right there. That's the timeless hit that will
- 14:29Speaker 1: play forever and ever and ever and ever. She's lucky
- 14:32Speaker 1: to have one. Everybody's lucky if you have one of those.
- 14:34Speaker 1: That's what I'm talking about. Yeah, that shit is fire. Royals.
- 14:40Speaker 1: She's had some time to make an album. Maybe it's
- 14:42Speaker 1: gonna be fire. As you say, it's tough to touch
- 14:45Speaker 1: that Royals, man, keep it one hundred. Well, her last
- 14:48Speaker 1: album was in twenty seventeen, so she's had some time.
- 14:52Speaker 1: I'm gonna listening to this Beab song a lot. Which
- 14:55Speaker 1: one I'm not ashamed, I'm not embarrassed. Which one lonely
- 14:59Speaker 1: out I'm coming out of the closet today as someone
- 15:04Speaker 1: who loves Justin Bieber. Okay, we were in the closet
- 15:08Speaker 1: about that. Yes, that's not something I have ever broadcast before.
- 15:12Speaker 1: I know that I'm very alpha and masculine, but I
- 15:14Speaker 1: need to break that image of me right now. Any
- 15:23Speaker 1: other per se, Well, I'm sure there's not a lot
- 15:26Speaker 1: of bros being like, bro, did you hear fucking anyone
- 15:29Speaker 1: by Bieber? Listen? That's a slab. It's a slab and
- 15:34Speaker 1: my friend wrote it, so I feel I feel extra
- 15:36Speaker 1: proud of my friend. He also wrote Peaches, great song.
- 15:40Speaker 1: Um TikTok smasher, Yeah, killing it, killing it anyway. I
- 15:46Speaker 1: can't play you anyone here, guys, because I'm not allowed to,
- 15:48Speaker 1: but put it on and especially I love I love
- 15:55Speaker 1: pop and it's obviously a super pop radio hit. But
- 15:58Speaker 1: that kid, the fella, he's not a kid anymore. The
- 16:00Speaker 1: young man can sing I got a good one for you.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Then go ahead. The Weekend and Ariana grand Oh, I
- 16:06Speaker 1: know that song. That's like the number one song in
- 16:08Speaker 1: the summer right now. That's so is I mean it
- 16:10Speaker 1: was originally it was a fire song when it's just
- 16:13Speaker 1: a weekend, but Ariana Grande has taken that ship to
- 16:17Speaker 1: the next level. It's got an eight it's very hit
- 16:20Speaker 1: to be eighties right now, right Um, yeah, it has that. Actually,
- 16:25Speaker 1: the Dun Dun dun dun, dun dun, by the way
- 16:27Speaker 1: anyone has. When I told Andrew I liked his song,
- 16:30Speaker 1: he said, oh, did you like those Phil Collins drums,
- 16:32Speaker 1: because you know the song has that do that. And
- 16:38Speaker 1: I was like, I'm talking to the guy who fucking
- 16:40Speaker 1: chose the Phil Collins song song. It's just so cool.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Pass the fucking sushi. But this is where it makes
- 16:47Speaker 1: me feel. This is where it makes me feel old. Man,
- 16:49Speaker 1: Like that, Uh, what's the girl's name that sings driving
- 16:53Speaker 1: the car? What's her name? Olivia Rodriga and the new
- 16:58Speaker 1: in her new song, she was talking about, I'm the
- 17:01Speaker 1: one that hipped you to Billy Joel. Yes, Like, come, kiddo,
- 17:06Speaker 1: that's not that old, is it. It's Billy Joel. That
- 17:08Speaker 1: old Billy Joel did not have a in popular culture
- 17:12Speaker 1: career by the time this child was born. Is Uptown
- 17:14Speaker 1: Girl really that old girl? How old is her? She's
- 17:21Speaker 1: seventeen eighteen. I think she's like, I'm the one that
- 17:24Speaker 1: taught you about Uptown Girl to this boy, and the
- 17:27Speaker 1: boy's going around teaching it to other girls. That's how
- 17:32Speaker 1: many kids? How many kids probably listen to Uptown Girl?
- 17:35Speaker 1: Now that that song is popular. I know, man, they're
- 17:38Speaker 1: like the video Christie By. Yeah, that's a great you know, uh,
- 17:44Speaker 1: you know it's a great Billy Joel song. The long
- 17:47Speaker 1: Whoa for the longest time. That shit is one of
- 17:53Speaker 1: the best song dude, when he and cut. My favorite
- 17:58Speaker 1: deep cut is Billy Joel Vienna. Oh that that's a
- 18:02Speaker 1: beautiful song. Yeah, Joel, just clutch my pearls. Joel, Just Joel,
- 18:07Speaker 1: you clutch your own pearls and pearls because you're feeling
- 18:10Speaker 1: in your Vina way. You just like no. The first
- 18:14Speaker 1: song I ever learned in my life. Don't go change
- 18:18Speaker 1: in to try it please me. You never let me
- 18:25Speaker 1: down before. M My favorite part of that song is
- 18:30Speaker 1: when it goes what you're trying to get into, what
- 18:34Speaker 1: you're trying to do. Come on, we got to focus
- 18:37Speaker 1: on the time, focus on the show, all right. This
- 18:39Speaker 1: an episode is so funny. Um, I love this whole
- 18:43Speaker 1: riff in the lobby. I can't just unevite everyone. I
- 18:47Speaker 1: got two e yeses and two e maybes. That's a
- 18:50Speaker 1: lot of responses. Yeah, dude, Kondo upside down question mark
- 19:00Speaker 1: and then you look at me, you go, I borrowed
- 19:03Speaker 1: your Spanish dictionary yeah, and you're the only one. You're
- 19:08Speaker 1: one of the only yes. I've got twenty four e Maybes,
- 19:15Speaker 1: Quondoo thirty and upside Down question Mark. I remember this
- 19:20Speaker 1: episode very well, man, like, this is one of those
- 19:22Speaker 1: episodes when we were When I was watching it, I
- 19:25Speaker 1: was like, I remember shooting this. I remember shooting this
- 19:28Speaker 1: scene Quondo eight thirty Upside I remember laughing so hard
- 19:33Speaker 1: at that. I remember that this season, I think is
- 19:36Speaker 1: a really great season. I know we got off the
- 19:38Speaker 1: rails a little bit with like you know, ostriches and shit,
- 19:42Speaker 1: but I just feel like, as we're starting to watch
- 19:44Speaker 1: this season, I remember liking this season and feeling like
- 19:47Speaker 1: we were just having so much fun, so much fun
- 19:49Speaker 1: at this time. Yeah. Yeah, and um, Sacred Fart. We didn't,
- 19:53Speaker 1: you know, not expecting Kelso to like it, but Kelsel
- 19:55Speaker 1: finds it hilarious. Sacred Sacred Fart goes. Did you see
- 20:00Speaker 1: the sign and um, you do the safety dance? Yes.
- 20:10Speaker 1: Until that moment, I had never heard that song. I
- 20:15Speaker 1: heard the song, I didn't know what safety dance was.
- 20:19Speaker 1: You can dance if you want to, you can leave
- 20:21Speaker 1: young I was behind. Now. I don't know much about them,
- 20:24Speaker 1: but they were a one hit wonder and then you
- 20:25Speaker 1: make some reference to the band that I didn't fully get.
- 20:30Speaker 1: What do you mean you say something about common Common,
- 20:34Speaker 1: Common Dot or something that's um Elliott says it to
- 20:40Speaker 1: uh Carla, and she was like, didn't you learn your
- 20:43Speaker 1: lesson when you asked if when you told him the
- 20:45Speaker 1: Common Dot was coming to town. But I didn't get
- 20:47Speaker 1: it either. I'm gonna look it up. I think the
- 20:49Speaker 1: band is called Dirk Common Dot or something. I don't know.
- 20:52Speaker 1: It went over my head. He can dance if he
- 20:57Speaker 1: wants to leave his friends. I laughed out loud at um,
- 21:02Speaker 1: you're so, you're we're going through the list of things
- 21:06Speaker 1: that you were, Eliot. We're going to you and me
- 21:08Speaker 1: and I go, how could you never? How could never
- 21:10Speaker 1: slept in a hammock naked? I'm afraid of dragonflies? I
- 21:20Speaker 1: laughed at that. I definitely made that shit up. They're
- 21:23Speaker 1: afraid of dragonflies. I'm afraid of dragonflies? Like, why is
- 21:27Speaker 1: that gonna really fuck up my naked sleeping in a hammock?
- 21:30Speaker 1: I don't know. And Kelso's really driving through this year
- 21:34Speaker 1: that he loves Asian prostitutes. Yeah, I mean it's in
- 21:37Speaker 1: every episode that Kelso really loves prostitutes of the now.
- 21:45Speaker 1: What's so? What do you think Jake's fantasy was? They
- 21:48Speaker 1: were in there for four minutes? He probably said something
- 21:53Speaker 1: really naughty. Yeah, I mean, what is gonna make a woman?
- 21:56Speaker 1: She says, come on, Drake, just come on in here,
- 21:59Speaker 1: just tell me what your wildest thing is. Anything is good, Okay.
- 22:02Speaker 1: So then the clock cuts to five minutes later and
- 22:05Speaker 1: not even and they run out and she's like, oh
- 22:07Speaker 1: my god, Jake, like, what could it have been? Do
- 22:09Speaker 1: you have anything like that where you'd be like, well,
- 22:11Speaker 1: that's it? Never mind the hottest, the hot the thing,
- 22:16Speaker 1: the moment that you've been waiting for with the woman
- 22:19Speaker 1: that you've been waiting for, whether like like let's go
- 22:23Speaker 1: off the chain, like the person you never ever, in
- 22:25Speaker 1: a million million years thought it would be possible. You
- 22:29Speaker 1: two are in a moment and this person says something
- 22:34Speaker 1: to stop you guys from doing it. What would it be?
- 22:38Speaker 1: I don't know, I don't know. I mean something that
- 22:40Speaker 1: that would be painful. I'm not really into SNM. If
- 22:42Speaker 1: she was like, I've got the clamps, getting a fucking cage,
- 22:51Speaker 1: I mean, no disrespect to those who love it. But
- 22:53Speaker 1: I just don't think that's like my particular thing. It's
- 22:58Speaker 1: all set up getting it eat that cable, motherfucker. I
- 23:05Speaker 1: don't know what about you? What's your answer? I don't know, dude.
- 23:08Speaker 1: It's a tough one because, like I mean, they don't
- 23:12Speaker 1: even start. They just like he talks her through it. Still,
- 23:16Speaker 1: this is what we're gonna do. It breaks them up,
- 23:19Speaker 1: It breaks them up. Yeah, it's pretty sad for poor Jake.
- 23:23Speaker 1: He finally felt comfortable to share his fan pressure. You pressured,
- 23:28Speaker 1: You pressured her into doing that, right, I did, But
- 23:31Speaker 1: I mean I wanted her to be honest and open
- 23:34Speaker 1: with her lover. Now she has a fantasy. We learned
- 23:38Speaker 1: that that's a very elaborate involving a Mexican apple. That
- 23:43Speaker 1: was so funny. But I thought this was the episode
- 23:45Speaker 1: there's but there's one point where I where I fulfill
- 23:47Speaker 1: her fantasy by dressing up as the Mexican apple fef
- 23:50Speaker 1: But I'm not. It's not that we're hooking up. I'm
- 23:52Speaker 1: I'm helping her with another man. I think, don't you
- 23:56Speaker 1: remember that? It must be this season because this season
- 24:00Speaker 1: has a runner of Elliott being obsessed with her whole
- 24:02Speaker 1: elaborate Mexican apple thief sex fantasy. And there's some point
- 24:06Speaker 1: where I dress up with like a Mexican poncho and
- 24:10Speaker 1: a sombrero, and I'm sure it's not going to be
- 24:12Speaker 1: very PC, but I know that I am playing a
- 24:15Speaker 1: Mexican apple thief. I don't remember that. I don't think
- 24:19Speaker 1: there's any skin painting or anything like that, but I
- 24:22Speaker 1: do know that, Oh boy, I'm wearing right. I think
- 24:26Speaker 1: I am wearing a sombrero. JD's Cereal, JD's bananas and nuts.
- 24:34Speaker 1: Oh man, I was on fire this episode. What about
- 24:38Speaker 1: Doug pre tagging the patient's toes. Yea, he's like I
- 24:43Speaker 1: wrote one ish. There are a lot of very funny
- 24:49Speaker 1: Carla looking for couples to eat dinner with. I know that.
- 24:52Speaker 1: I know how that goes. Dude, I know how that goes.
- 24:54Speaker 1: That's your wife, that is my wife getting married. We'll
- 24:57Speaker 1: have dinner together. Yeah, she she always used to say
- 25:01Speaker 1: that to me. And find a girlfriend. We can stop
- 25:03Speaker 1: being our third wheel. We go on double dates all right. Now,
- 25:07Speaker 1: this whole we got to talk about this whole triathlon thing.
- 25:10Speaker 1: This was the water was colder than you could possibly imagine.
- 25:14Speaker 1: We really went out to the beach. We were out
- 25:16Speaker 1: in Malibu, and I remember that scene where I'm getting
- 25:20Speaker 1: in the water is the funniest fucking thing. I laughed
- 25:22Speaker 1: so hard. No wetsuit and like tiptoeing in and trying
- 25:25Speaker 1: to splash it on my body. Yeah, but then there's
- 25:28Speaker 1: a scene where you're actually swimming in. I was out
- 25:30Speaker 1: there in the water. Yeah, it was freezing. It was
- 25:33Speaker 1: like forty five degrees. No wetsuit and all the crew
- 25:36Speaker 1: is in there with wet suits, right, And it was
- 25:40Speaker 1: a hot day, but it didn't matter. There was a
- 25:41Speaker 1: hot day, because this is actually an interesting story. The
- 25:44Speaker 1: water was freezing, but it was hot outside. So they
- 25:48Speaker 1: had a big longboard for me to get out onto
- 25:51Speaker 1: for breaks because you couldn't stay in there very long
- 25:53Speaker 1: and you just lost your breath. It was so fucking cold.
- 25:56Speaker 1: So I would do the gag pick an apple, put
- 25:58Speaker 1: in your pocket, and we did that, and then I
- 25:59Speaker 1: would they give me a break, okay, cut take a break,
- 26:01Speaker 1: and I would get on them blongboard and it would
- 26:03Speaker 1: be hot in the sun and I just kind of
- 26:05Speaker 1: catch my breath. I did that so many times, going
- 26:07Speaker 1: back and forth, hot cold, hot, cold. When I came
- 26:11Speaker 1: out of there. I was like in ecstasy. It felt
- 26:13Speaker 1: so amazing. I don't know if you've ever done this
- 26:16Speaker 1: with like a cold plunge pool and a sauna people,
- 26:19Speaker 1: you know, if you're at a spa or if someone
- 26:21Speaker 1: you know has this. But if you go hot cold
- 26:23Speaker 1: hot cold hot cold, like twenty times, you you have
- 26:27Speaker 1: this euphoria come over you. And I remember, I remember,
- 26:29Speaker 1: I'll never forget it. I was lying in my trailer
- 26:32Speaker 1: and I was like, I felt like higher than I've
- 26:35Speaker 1: ever felt in a good way, and it was cold.
- 26:39Speaker 1: Don't they say that this is what you're supposed to
- 26:41Speaker 1: do nowadays? Like isn't this a regiment that people are
- 26:44Speaker 1: doing too? Yes, I know there's people dementia or something
- 26:49Speaker 1: like that, and I don't know about dementia, but it
- 26:51Speaker 1: definitely felt good for anxiety if you can handle it.
- 26:53Speaker 1: I know that people. I remember reading an article about
- 26:55Speaker 1: Rick Rubin, the famous producer, had like a sauna and
- 26:58Speaker 1: then outside his sauna an ice plunge and he would
- 27:02Speaker 1: do this. He would go, and there's other people that
- 27:03Speaker 1: do it. They go back and forth, go back and forth,
- 27:05Speaker 1: and you haven't you get this like natural high from
- 27:07Speaker 1: your body going. Um, I can tell you from this
- 27:11Speaker 1: experience that I've never forgotten that it works. I did
- 27:14Speaker 1: it a lot because we shot that whole scene and
- 27:15Speaker 1: I had to keep doing it, keep doing it, and
- 27:19Speaker 1: it was amazing. I felt I felt higher, higher than
- 27:22Speaker 1: I've ever felt, but in a good way, and like
- 27:24Speaker 1: not a not a drug way, and like oh enlightened way.
- 27:28Speaker 1: That's dope. Um, we should go to break, all right,
- 27:31Speaker 1: We're gonna go to break and we'll be right back
- 27:33Speaker 1: after what you're trying to get into a damn shoom
- 27:37Speaker 1: what you're trying to do, and we're back back. Did
- 27:48Speaker 1: you see that that ain't listening to fake Doctor's real friends?
- 27:51Speaker 1: Did you see that nice woman who covered the we
- 27:53Speaker 1: gotta call her song? She did a good job, she did.
- 27:56Speaker 1: We want more of you to cover the songs. If
- 27:58Speaker 1: you're a fan and you're do covers, can you tag
- 28:02Speaker 1: us in covers on Instagram? And and if they're not horrible,
- 28:06Speaker 1: we'll we'll repost them. Right Donald, I would love to
- 28:10Speaker 1: hear like a twelve part acapella band. Do what you
- 28:16Speaker 1: trying to get some stories? Yeah, I was just gonna
- 28:18Speaker 1: say about show. We may even something slowed down. Yeah,
- 28:23Speaker 1: so about a bunch of doctor nurses. But anyway, the
- 28:30Speaker 1: point is is that if you, if you do sing covers,
- 28:32Speaker 1: please sing a cover of one of our many ditties
- 28:34Speaker 1: and we'll we'll repost it. I want to talk about that.
- 28:38Speaker 1: We were talking about the the triathlon that j D does.
- 28:44Speaker 1: It's more like a walk about really when you think
- 28:46Speaker 1: about it, right, he's having a moment in his life
- 28:48Speaker 1: where he's trying to figure out what he's going to do.
- 28:51Speaker 1: He needs a place to live, you know, he's alone. Yeah,
- 28:55Speaker 1: no girlfriend, no girlfriend, he's lost, and he goes on
- 29:00Speaker 1: this journey, yeah, this quest through ocean land, a vision quest. Yeah,
- 29:08Speaker 1: you're right, Yeah, come through at the end and realize
- 29:13Speaker 1: he has the help all he had to help all along.
- 29:15Speaker 1: It was offered to him in the beginning, and he
- 29:17Speaker 1: was so stubborn that he played it off as like,
- 29:21Speaker 1: you know, we're superficial friends, we're not really friends. Yeah,
- 29:24Speaker 1: we like to keep it superficial, but really JD and
- 29:28Speaker 1: Elliott are there for each other regardless of if they're
- 29:31Speaker 1: a boyfriend and girlfriend couple. They are. You know, you
- 29:34Speaker 1: could say he can't do it all on his own.
- 29:36Speaker 1: You could say that, but I chose not to. You know,
- 29:39Speaker 1: I wish you would have to say, um no, listen.
- 29:45Speaker 1: It's very listless to the to a real place. It's
- 29:49Speaker 1: very hard to maintain a friendship. It's one thing to
- 29:54Speaker 1: have an X where you're like, you're tight, you're fine,
- 29:56Speaker 1: it's cool, everything's all good, Like how are you good? Good? Oh,
- 29:59Speaker 1: I saw your instagram? You know, superficial talk. But these
- 30:02Speaker 1: two are trying to be in each other's lives as
- 30:04Speaker 1: best friends in a best friend group that's really and
- 30:08Speaker 1: work together every day. That's really, really hard. They're asking
- 30:10Speaker 1: a lot of each other and their their their way
- 30:14Speaker 1: of trying to do it is to keep everything superficial.
- 30:16Speaker 1: I mean, he literally says, dynamite teeth today friends so sparkly.
- 30:20Speaker 1: I mean, they're just trying to keep it superficial. And
- 30:22Speaker 1: finally Elliot breaks down. I can't keep it superficial with you.
- 30:25Speaker 1: You're you're my friend. I don't know how to be
- 30:28Speaker 1: fake with you. Oh my god, that dolphin costume. I
- 30:34Speaker 1: don't feel bad. That was like, I loved it. He's hallucinating. Well, yeah,
- 30:42Speaker 1: but you grab her face for us? Oh you're real? Yeah,
- 30:45Speaker 1: Thank goodness. I thought it was a hilarious choice that
- 30:49Speaker 1: she's in a dolphin costume because he's tripping out and
- 30:52Speaker 1: he's hallucinating. I thought very funny, and I just thought
- 31:01Speaker 1: it was sweet that she carried me and you got
- 31:02Speaker 1: that Keene song, which I love and I believe this
- 31:06Speaker 1: going forward. Bill said, season five on the they're all
- 31:09Speaker 1: the original songs. They worked out that what the deals
- 31:11Speaker 1: would be from season five on, so the songs aren't replaced,
- 31:15Speaker 1: as I understand it. Do you remember Keane love Keene?
- 31:19Speaker 1: I don't know what happened to Keene? Remember the Bowery
- 31:21Speaker 1: Bar Keene? Me? You? Bill Lawrence, No, I don't remember that.
- 31:28Speaker 1: We remember New York City. I remember New York City.
- 31:31Speaker 1: It's it's the big city in New York, right, Yeah,
- 31:33Speaker 1: do you remember when we went and saw that show Keene?
- 31:37Speaker 1: I've seen a few Keen shows. But go ahead, right,
- 31:40Speaker 1: this was right when this is right around this time,
- 31:43Speaker 1: when and if we have a moment, why don't we
- 31:48Speaker 1: go talk about it somewhere? Only we know this could
- 31:55Speaker 1: be the end of everything, So why don't were you
- 32:00Speaker 1: go You don't remember going to see somewhere? Well, they
- 32:04Speaker 1: know it's a great song. I don't know what happened
- 32:06Speaker 1: to that band? They were so good we went and
- 32:08Speaker 1: saw them live at the Bowery Bar. Dude, is what
- 32:11Speaker 1: I'm trying to say. Okay, we didn't see them at
- 32:13Speaker 1: the Bowery Bar. What is the venue? What is it then?
- 32:16Speaker 1: The Bowery? Uh venue in the Bowery. It's not called
- 32:20Speaker 1: the Bowery Bar. What is the what is the big ass? Yes?
- 32:24Speaker 1: Now I'm getting Now, I'm getting what you're saying. It's
- 32:26Speaker 1: on Um, it's on Houseton. I think is it the
- 32:30Speaker 1: Bowery or is it something else? Have you looked that up? Daniel,
- 32:34Speaker 1: you're the music guy here. What the name of the
- 32:36Speaker 1: venue or what happened? Well, I'm mistaken. Just called the Bowery,
- 32:41Speaker 1: Bowery ball Room. Bowery ball Room? Yeah, neck bot ears? Wow, wow, listen,
- 32:51Speaker 1: do not fuck my twat ears. Oh my god, here
- 32:55Speaker 1: comes the sound effect again, Daniel. I need that from
- 32:57Speaker 1: my my son back. I can get you both like
- 33:00Speaker 1: both end today. I don't want a real um sexual noise.
- 33:03Speaker 1: I want Donald's specific one. Yeah nowhere, thank you? Um?
- 33:09Speaker 1: What about when I'm bottling the bike and I'm like
- 33:12Speaker 1: the only thing I've had to eat all day is
- 33:13Speaker 1: a half a jellyfish and they just wanted to just
- 33:17Speaker 1: change gears. And I go, it's like peddling and hummus.
- 33:24Speaker 1: And then I see, uh, um, johnny Castle and Sam
- 33:29Speaker 1: walked by with a pig old pig when they're eating
- 33:33Speaker 1: the apple they did, They're going, they will see you
- 33:38Speaker 1: at the lu out. I go. They already finished and
- 33:41Speaker 1: cooked a pig. They not only finished, but they successfully
- 33:47Speaker 1: cooked a pig on a on a what do you
- 33:49Speaker 1: call it a spigott? Yeah, sp on a spit. Do
- 33:54Speaker 1: you think that where water comes out of what do
- 33:56Speaker 1: you think that? Do you think that Johnny Castle and Sam?
- 33:59Speaker 1: I mean their characters actually cooked the pig themselves. I
- 34:03Speaker 1: don't think they existed. I think that was the fake
- 34:05Speaker 1: that I think they were the hallucination. No, no, no,
- 34:09Speaker 1: I think, well, what's the funnier end answer. The funnier
- 34:12Speaker 1: answer is that they've had that much time off from
- 34:14Speaker 1: this from the triadol, and they've been done for so long. Yeah,
- 34:19Speaker 1: but then the joke doesn't make sense when he grabs
- 34:21Speaker 1: her face, Oh you and you're real? Thank god? Oh
- 34:25Speaker 1: my god. How about when we when you're getting ready
- 34:27Speaker 1: to do the surgery for the woman? Um, and you
- 34:30Speaker 1: stay cut to without anesthesia, and they cut the cocks
- 34:34Speaker 1: putting cotton. Hears ears. That was so funny, and then
- 34:40Speaker 1: you're like, um, you go, you got this, you got this.
- 34:42Speaker 1: And then you see the hypnotist. He's whispering it. What
- 34:45Speaker 1: are you saying? He goes, I'm just saying, you got this,
- 34:47Speaker 1: you got this? Right? Did you see did you see
- 34:50Speaker 1: what he does when she starts screaming No, It seemed
- 34:52Speaker 1: like he was going, no freaking doom. No. But there's
- 35:01Speaker 1: no way that woman would ever not scream. First of all,
- 35:05Speaker 1: you got one cut in and she didn't scream. Yeah,
- 35:09Speaker 1: but you know it was burning. You know that ship
- 35:11Speaker 1: was burning. You know she was like, God, if he
- 35:15Speaker 1: cuts me one more time, that's it. That's man, that's it.
- 35:18Speaker 1: I'm not gonna be able to take it. Oh my god.
- 35:20Speaker 1: And then she screams, and then you go, Obi Nobi.
- 35:32Speaker 1: This episode was hilarious, dude. And then Elliot carried me
- 35:35Speaker 1: at the end into the finish line. Yeah, it's very, very,
- 35:39Speaker 1: very polished. And then we're lying there together. I mean,
- 35:42Speaker 1: you get the sense in this episode you can't help
- 35:45Speaker 1: but go. Maybe they will end up together. They're so
- 35:48Speaker 1: cute together. Well, you could tell that, you could tell
- 35:52Speaker 1: that she definitely has feelings for him, yeah, and he
- 35:57Speaker 1: does for her. Well yeah, But the fact that she
- 36:00Speaker 1: puts the dude on her back and carries him over
- 36:04Speaker 1: the fence, she loves him. Yeah, she loves her already
- 36:08Speaker 1: like like that, that's foreshadowing in a big motherfucking way,
- 36:12Speaker 1: you know what I mean? Yeah, because that's what you
- 36:14Speaker 1: do with a partner. You lift them up, you you
- 36:18Speaker 1: carry them when they need to be carried. That's right.
- 36:20Speaker 1: As new Addition once said, can you stand the rain?
- 36:23Speaker 1: Elliott says, yes, yeah I can. And also like that
- 36:28Speaker 1: footprints thing that Jesus like, you know, and when when
- 36:31Speaker 1: when you didn't see my footsteps beside you, I was
- 36:34Speaker 1: carrying you. Yeah, footprints, Elliot is my Jesus. She's carrying me. Wow.
- 36:42Speaker 1: Step deep. Right, we should probably go to break and
- 36:45Speaker 1: then come back with the Yes, we'll go to break
- 36:47Speaker 1: and we will come back with an exciting caller'll be
- 36:50Speaker 1: right back and we're bad. We're bad. Play that music, No,
- 37:07Speaker 1: not that music. And I thought you liked my song, Dan,
- 37:11Speaker 1: I'll play the caller music out of college. Game can
- 37:16Speaker 1: talk somehow, Dudes? You know, like a ball smoke some jazz,
- 37:23Speaker 1: maybe talking about the episode. So come on, let's get
- 37:26Speaker 1: the show. There is Billy. Welcome to the podcast, my friend.
- 37:40Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, so good to see you all. It's
- 37:42Speaker 1: so good to see you, my friend. Welcome, Welcome, welcome,
- 37:45Speaker 1: Thank you from from Well. I live in Denver, but
- 37:49Speaker 1: currently in the state of Washington. My girlfriend and I
- 37:53Speaker 1: are actually living out of the band for the summer,
- 37:55Speaker 1: traveling around and h yeah, we are taking a little
- 37:59Speaker 1: break in an airbnb. So it's actually got good timing
- 38:02Speaker 1: for this. I'm trying to get to wash that ass.
- 38:04Speaker 1: Huh Hi, Donald meant don't talk about that, but you know,
- 38:08Speaker 1: you know he's a dirty dude if he's Yeah, you
- 38:10Speaker 1: can't wash your ass in a van, listen, you can.
- 38:13Speaker 1: I have been went down a rabbit hole with these
- 38:16Speaker 1: conversion vans. I saw nomad Land, and I know nomad
- 38:19Speaker 1: Land was not meant to make me feel like I
- 38:21Speaker 1: want to live in a van um, but I did.
- 38:24Speaker 1: I went down the rabbit hole. And is that what
- 38:26Speaker 1: you're in? Some sort of converted van? Yeah? Yeah. I
- 38:29Speaker 1: bought a van a couple of years ago, converted it myself,
- 38:32Speaker 1: put some solar panels and batteries and all the works
- 38:36Speaker 1: in it. So what you've got in there? What do
- 38:38Speaker 1: you got in there? Besides the bed? Obviously, we've got
- 38:40Speaker 1: a bed. We've got we've got lights, we've got fans,
- 38:43Speaker 1: we've got a heater. I got a lot of storage
- 38:45Speaker 1: for toys. My girlfriend and I love biking and paddle boarding,
- 38:49Speaker 1: all the outdoor sports, so we got a big old
- 38:50Speaker 1: garage for everything in the back. So yeah, it's like
- 38:54Speaker 1: a little log cabin in the back. Do you have
- 38:56Speaker 1: a fridge? And at about food? Yeah, we've got a
- 38:59Speaker 1: little fridge. We've got a little kitchen stove, sink with
- 39:03Speaker 1: like a little pump action faucet. So very basic, but
- 39:07Speaker 1: you know you did it. And then what about the
- 39:09Speaker 1: peeing and pooing situation? Uh, yeah, that one's a little
- 39:12Speaker 1: difficult sometimes. We always try and prioritize having bathrooms nearby,
- 39:17Speaker 1: but if emergency calls, we do have a bucket toilet
- 39:21Speaker 1: with a little baggies they have and they have that
- 39:26Speaker 1: in nomad Land where they talk about pooping in a bucket. Yes, yes,
- 39:30Speaker 1: yes they did. Did you see nomad Land? I did, Yes,
- 39:32Speaker 1: I loved it. Yeah, I thought it was it was
- 39:34Speaker 1: very beautiful. Did this make you want to urge your
- 39:38Speaker 1: lifestyle and this is why you're doing this? Well, I
- 39:41Speaker 1: mean I was doing it before nomad Land came. We
- 39:43Speaker 1: were we were not in the van at the time,
- 39:45Speaker 1: and it made us want to kind of go back in.
- 39:48Speaker 1: So it must have to You must have to really,
- 39:50Speaker 1: really really get along with your girlfriend to live out
- 39:53Speaker 1: of a van together. I mean, there she is. It
- 39:56Speaker 1: feels like next level getting along, not just like, oh, no,
- 39:59Speaker 1: we love each other, Like, no, we're gonna get into
- 40:01Speaker 1: a tiny van and tour the country. Yes, yeah, we
- 40:04Speaker 1: get along. Well, there are definitely some times where we
- 40:07Speaker 1: kind of get at each other's nerves a little bit,
- 40:09Speaker 1: But for the most part, yeah, we get along. What
- 40:11Speaker 1: do you say, You're like, go to the back of
- 40:12Speaker 1: the van. I like my alone time, So I always
- 40:18Speaker 1: preface like every time we go out, like I need
- 40:20Speaker 1: some alone time. I need to add some time where
- 40:22Speaker 1: I'm gonna go off by myself and do my own thing.
- 40:24Speaker 1: Because she doesn't get that. She does a little bit.
- 40:27Speaker 1: She she doesn't like being a lot. She understands, Yeah,
- 40:32Speaker 1: she understand. I can't picture you and Casey living in
- 40:34Speaker 1: a van together. When we first started dating. CBS asked
- 40:38Speaker 1: us if we wanted to be a couple on the
- 40:41Speaker 1: Amazing Race, and I was like, I was like, if
- 40:44Speaker 1: we did it, babe, I mean, yeah, we'd probably win,
- 40:47Speaker 1: but our relationship would be over. Amazing Race is very
- 40:52Speaker 1: stressful on a couple. Yes, I couldn't imagine doing something
- 40:57Speaker 1: like that. So being in a van with just just
- 41:00Speaker 1: me and Casey or are kids with us? No, I
- 41:02Speaker 1: was making it one step easier and saying it was
- 41:04Speaker 1: just you and Casey. The kids would be ridiculous. In
- 41:06Speaker 1: a van would be so difficult. Yeah, they'be hitting each
- 41:09Speaker 1: other and shit. But I love these conversion vans. There's
- 41:12Speaker 1: there's all They're all different levels, and it's so I'm
- 41:15Speaker 1: always so interested in how people like do their layout
- 41:18Speaker 1: and what they choose to put in there and whatnot,
- 41:20Speaker 1: and people go crazy with it. Yeah, there's there's a
- 41:23Speaker 1: million different ways you can make them. It just kind
- 41:25Speaker 1: of all depends on on your needs. It's so you know,
- 41:28Speaker 1: on Instagram, when you second, you like start clicking on
- 41:30Speaker 1: something and then it's just like sends you the motherload.
- 41:33Speaker 1: My feed for a while was just like ninety percent
- 41:36Speaker 1: conversion vans. Yeah, that's that's my girlfriend's Instagram right now. Yeah,
- 41:41Speaker 1: very commergent. Dans And just tells us all the ways
- 41:44Speaker 1: we can improve ours. Yeah, that's fun though. It's fun together.
- 41:47Speaker 1: It's not solar powered, is it electrical or no? No,
- 41:52Speaker 1: it's an older Diesel van, but we've do a solar
- 41:55Speaker 1: panel on the roof that charges the external battery which
- 41:58Speaker 1: powers all of our electronic some stuff. You should look.
- 42:01Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know if you're into it, but
- 42:03Speaker 1: look into there's this. Uh, I just bought a smoker.
- 42:08Speaker 1: You're into it? And uh, it's a one that can
- 42:12Speaker 1: travel with you and it folds up really nice and small. Uh,
- 42:16Speaker 1: and it plugs into your your electrical outlet or socket.
- 42:22Speaker 1: And so when the car's on. Let gonna tell you
- 42:24Speaker 1: something right now, I've been smoking some meats, man, but
- 42:27Speaker 1: you can smoke other things. I'm gonna smoke other things.
- 42:33Speaker 1: You can smoke other things you can smoke. Bet did
- 42:35Speaker 1: I ever tell you that? Donaland goes to extremes. He
- 42:37Speaker 1: went from like a week of vegetarianism to buying a smoke.
- 42:40Speaker 1: It was more than a week. It was more than
- 42:42Speaker 1: a week. It was a month and a solar a
- 42:46Speaker 1: month and a half respect that. Okay, motherfucker? Oh my god,
- 42:49Speaker 1: not some please, I'm sorry, Billy, I'm sorry to see this. Billy.
- 42:53Speaker 1: All right, Billy. Do you have a question for us,
- 42:55Speaker 1: my friend? Yes, yes I do. Um so my first question, uh,
- 43:00Speaker 1: guess mainly for your Zach and Joel since you guys
- 43:02Speaker 1: just got new dogs, but Donald and Danelle Daniel please
- 43:07Speaker 1: let me know if you guys have dogs as well
- 43:09Speaker 1: and care to answer. But I love asking us to
- 43:11Speaker 1: all my friends who have dogs, what TV or movie
- 43:16Speaker 1: character do you feel like best represents your dog's personality
- 43:20Speaker 1: and would you be willing to pay a lot of
- 43:24Speaker 1: money to have one of those dog callers from the
- 43:26Speaker 1: movie up to bring that personality to life? Wow? Wow, Joel,
- 43:34Speaker 1: do you have an answer right off the battle? First
- 43:35Speaker 1: of all, yes, I would pay any amount of money
- 43:37Speaker 1: to have my dog talk to me because I love
- 43:39Speaker 1: her more than anything and I would love to hear
- 43:41Speaker 1: what she's thinking in terms of who she is. I
- 43:42Speaker 1: don't know, Joel, you go, I'm feeling it might be
- 43:44Speaker 1: someone from Rebels. It's actually character from being Mary Jane,
- 43:51Speaker 1: but she's also kind of a mess. Way to bring
- 43:53Speaker 1: out my movie wife. Yes, I love Gabby and yeah,
- 43:58Speaker 1: you know, lions, she just turned six months, so you know,
- 44:02Speaker 1: she she's got ten commands down. She's learning all the time.
- 44:06Speaker 1: She's so sweet. We're getting so much better at the leash.
- 44:09Speaker 1: But you know, than there's times where she's also a
- 44:11Speaker 1: mess and she can't stop running around and she's tripping people,
- 44:13Speaker 1: and when we meet dogs, she always wants to put
- 44:16Speaker 1: her paw on their face and I'm like, we don't
- 44:18Speaker 1: have to, you could just sniff it and like, you know,
- 44:20Speaker 1: be gentle, and she's like, I must leap onto everything.
- 44:23Speaker 1: So she's she's a bit of a mess, but she's
- 44:25Speaker 1: also super intelligent and getting there. So you know, I'm
- 44:28Speaker 1: also going to choose a Gabby Union character, but from
- 44:31Speaker 1: bring it On. Yeah, no, I think I picture of
- 44:36Speaker 1: my dog like Kenny Schmidt. Okay, very wide eyed, optimistic
- 44:42Speaker 1: and silly, because my dog's very funny. My dog dogs
- 44:47Speaker 1: have a sense of humor. I'm sorry if you disagree,
- 44:49Speaker 1: but my dog is funny. She knows she's being funny
- 44:52Speaker 1: and she does funny shit. She's in the UK right now.
- 44:57Speaker 1: I miss her. She's worldly, my dog. All right, nice question,
- 45:01Speaker 1: my friend. Yeah, so my next questions more specific to Scrubs.
- 45:06Speaker 1: One of my favorite kind of scenes of any of
- 45:09Speaker 1: the episodes is one that you guys just recently cover,
- 45:12Speaker 1: but my boss's free haircut at the end, the speech
- 45:15Speaker 1: that doctor Kelsell gives whenever he kind of burst through
- 45:19Speaker 1: the door and says, nothing worth having comes easy. It's
- 45:24Speaker 1: something that I find myself always kind of watching and
- 45:26Speaker 1: whenever I need a little bit of a pick me up,
- 45:28Speaker 1: some inspirations motivation. My friend even sends it to me
- 45:31Speaker 1: late nights when he's drunk sometimes and you know, as
- 45:33Speaker 1: I need to pick me up. So I want to know,
- 45:35Speaker 1: is there any particular TV or movie scenes that you
- 45:38Speaker 1: guys find over the inspirational motivational that you will watch
- 45:42Speaker 1: anytime you guys need a little bit of pick me
- 45:44Speaker 1: up or a little bit of motivation throughout your day.
- 45:46Speaker 1: That's a good question. Yeah. At the end of the Whiz,
- 45:50Speaker 1: Lena Horne things believe in yourself. You know, Horne's like
- 45:55Speaker 1: the first black star in Hollywood. This movie comes out
- 45:59Speaker 1: in in seventy eight, I think, and so this is
- 46:03Speaker 1: like her last hurrah and to get her um as
- 46:06Speaker 1: a fully realized performer, because she had to go through
- 46:08Speaker 1: a lot before she was like fully on her feet,
- 46:11Speaker 1: U singing a song that very much sounds like everyone's grandmother,
- 46:14Speaker 1: just being like, listen, if you believe in yourself, you
- 46:16Speaker 1: can go out there. You can conquer anything. Oh oh,
- 46:18Speaker 1: it just say. It touches the spirit, it lifts you up.
- 46:20Speaker 1: It's it's such a good feeling. It really makes you
- 46:23Speaker 1: feel like you can conquer the world. And I enjoy
- 46:25Speaker 1: revisiting it. Donald something from Star Wars. I imagine maybe
- 46:29Speaker 1: something that Yoda says in a swamp after it what
- 46:33Speaker 1: could it be? Do or do not? There is no try. Yeah,
- 46:38Speaker 1: that is one of my favorite speeches that I'm not
- 46:41Speaker 1: gonna lie that one. And Obi wan Kenobi, well the
- 46:44Speaker 1: force is what do you say? Oh my gosh, this
- 46:49Speaker 1: is what guides us. Well, whatever he says in the
- 46:54Speaker 1: big beginning, no no no, no no no no, let me
- 46:58Speaker 1: say uh so, when I really think about it, one
- 47:02Speaker 1: of the greatest speeches. There's quite a few of them,
- 47:05Speaker 1: but the one that comes to mind is al Pacino
- 47:08Speaker 1: in any given Sunday, his speech at the end when
- 47:12Speaker 1: he's talking to the players. Yes, for some reason, that's
- 47:20Speaker 1: one of those speeches like you could I know al
- 47:22Speaker 1: Pacino in the big football guy. And you know, he
- 47:25Speaker 1: doesn't come across as a coach, you know what I
- 47:27Speaker 1: mean throughout this whole movie, you know what I mean,
- 47:32Speaker 1: but his conviction and when he's talking to the players
- 47:35Speaker 1: and telling them, you know, you go that extra mile,
- 47:38Speaker 1: but every inch you you know, when he really gets
- 47:41Speaker 1: into it, it's one of the most powerful speeches there
- 47:46Speaker 1: is ever in cinema. And so that's when I watched
- 47:49Speaker 1: quite a bit. There are other ones I'm thinking. I mean,
- 47:53Speaker 1: I happen to be looking at my Shawshank Redemption movie poster,
- 47:57Speaker 1: and so what came to mind was like Morgan's and
- 48:00Speaker 1: monologue of Shawshank and then when I thought about it,
- 48:02Speaker 1: I got goose bumps on my legs. So I don't
- 48:05Speaker 1: know if it's necessarily inspirational, but just a um, I
- 48:09Speaker 1: remember that that monologue about when he finally gets freedom
- 48:12Speaker 1: and then he finally goes and meets Andy Dufray on
- 48:14Speaker 1: the beach. Yeah, um, I don't know. That's what came
- 48:18Speaker 1: in my mind because I I did a little bit
- 48:20Speaker 1: of um uh, what's that? What's that Kevin Spacey movie
- 48:23Speaker 1: where he walked? I did the little usual suspects when
- 48:26Speaker 1: I looked up and saw the movie poster on my wall.
- 48:30Speaker 1: But it's it's not for me. It's never really uh,
- 48:33Speaker 1: it's never really. I use Alpaccino as an example. It's
- 48:38Speaker 1: never really the speech. It's always the music that really
- 48:42Speaker 1: takes you over the time. Yes, you know what I mean,
- 48:45Speaker 1: and so uh. There are quite a few moments in
- 48:49Speaker 1: ET when ET's leaving, after Gertie says by to him
- 48:54Speaker 1: and uh and and you know he's he's he's looking
- 48:59Speaker 1: at Elie and Ellie goes, you know, he goes, says
- 49:02Speaker 1: come and Elie goes. Stay. All of that then the
- 49:05Speaker 1: music at bampampapa bam bamp That ship is fire. And
- 49:17Speaker 1: that's always what brab me. That's what I'm talking about.
- 49:26Speaker 1: All Right, Philly, it's time. Where are you? We? I
- 49:29Speaker 1: forgot where you are. I'm in We're in Washington right now.
- 49:33Speaker 1: It's time for people who live in Van's favorite segment, Donald,
- 49:37Speaker 1: It's time to fix you live all right, It's all
- 49:46Speaker 1: about you now, we're here to help, thank you. Oh
- 49:49Speaker 1: uh yeah. My fixture life is surprisingly about moving in
- 49:53Speaker 1: with my girlfriend. Although we've been living in a band together,
- 49:56Speaker 1: we don't actually live together at home, but we were
- 49:58Speaker 1: planning on moving in together for the first time. We
- 50:00Speaker 1: get back. I'm somebody who's definitely had my fair share
- 50:04Speaker 1: of commitment issues when it comes to relationships from time
- 50:07Speaker 1: to time, So I am freaking out a little bit
- 50:10Speaker 1: about moving in. So just love some advice about moving
- 50:13Speaker 1: in with a significant other for the first time. You know,
- 50:15Speaker 1: we talk about it, how we've done it in a van,
- 50:18Speaker 1: But the kind of advantage of being in a van
- 50:20Speaker 1: is that we're always traveling and seeing new places, and
- 50:22Speaker 1: I think that kind of energy may draw away from
- 50:25Speaker 1: some of the tension that we have of always spending
- 50:27Speaker 1: time together. And it's a little bit of a different
- 50:29Speaker 1: story when you're sharing a house for the first time.
- 50:31Speaker 1: So yeah, we love your guy's advice and kind of
- 50:33Speaker 1: how to make that work and kind of how to
- 50:35Speaker 1: get over that anxiety of the commitment of moving in
- 50:37Speaker 1: with somebody. Well, both Donald and I have both moved
- 50:40Speaker 1: in and out with several women. Yes, it's true, this
- 50:45Speaker 1: is true. Keep the boxes. I'm just kidding. Um no, No,
- 50:51Speaker 1: I'm that's good advice. That's good advice for a different
- 50:54Speaker 1: for a different reason entirely. But you know, after you
- 50:56Speaker 1: guys could be answers. I have my own answer for this.
- 51:00Speaker 1: It's a funny answer because I'm moving out. Spoiler alert, Billy,
- 51:04Speaker 1: that's a that's a perfect segue into what you're saying.
- 51:09Speaker 1: It's not like you're getting married, you're just moving in together. Right,
- 51:12Speaker 1: keep the boxes, a and b Um, I think the boxes.
- 51:18Speaker 1: Just fold them up, put him in the garage behind
- 51:20Speaker 1: some cans. Um. I think one of the smartest things
- 51:24Speaker 1: you can do, you mentioned house, so it won't be
- 51:26Speaker 1: a tiny apartment, right, that's right? Yeah, um, is if
- 51:30Speaker 1: you each have your own room that is not to
- 51:32Speaker 1: say bedroom, You have your your share a bedroom, but
- 51:35Speaker 1: if you have the space to each have a quote
- 51:38Speaker 1: unquote office or her hangout room and you have your
- 51:42Speaker 1: man cave or whatever it is, I think a space
- 51:46Speaker 1: that's not the bedroom that you can each call your own. Again,
- 51:50Speaker 1: if you have the square footage is really really healthy
- 51:54Speaker 1: because sometimes you just want to be on a loan
- 51:58Speaker 1: and the share your bedroom isn't the right spot. You know,
- 52:02Speaker 1: obviously because you can both be in there. Sometimes you
- 52:04Speaker 1: just kind of miss having your own bedroom and you
- 52:07Speaker 1: don't really have that in a relationship. So if you
- 52:12Speaker 1: have the square footage, I think being able to say like, Okay,
- 52:16Speaker 1: that's you know, that's your office, that's your room, this
- 52:19Speaker 1: is my area, you know. Um. I think to be
- 52:21Speaker 1: able to sort of retreat to your own space and
- 52:23Speaker 1: if the person's massier than you, they can keep that
- 52:25Speaker 1: room however the hell they want. So they have they
- 52:28Speaker 1: have ace. You each have your a space that you
- 52:30Speaker 1: can kind of claim as your your corner if you
- 52:32Speaker 1: will donald your thoughts. Yeah, I mean sure, that's one
- 52:41Speaker 1: way to do it. Another way to do it is
- 52:44Speaker 1: to not worry about it. If you guys want to
- 52:47Speaker 1: live together, live together. If you really don't want to
- 52:49Speaker 1: live with her, you'll know right away when she says,
- 52:52Speaker 1: let's do it, and you say to yourself, no, I
- 52:55Speaker 1: don't want to do it. You know, if you want
- 52:57Speaker 1: to do it or not. All of that stuff is bullcrap.
- 52:59Speaker 1: But it's like, I'm so hesitant because I don't know,
- 53:02Speaker 1: you know, whether you want to do it or well.
- 53:04Speaker 1: It's one that you can have anxiety about it and
- 53:06Speaker 1: then but but anxiety can be man can can also
- 53:09Speaker 1: be excitement. You know. It's somewhere between that I'm excited
- 53:13Speaker 1: about it, but I'm nervous about it. I think it's
- 53:15Speaker 1: legitimate to feel all those feelings. I knew for a
- 53:18Speaker 1: fact that I wanted to move in with my wife.
- 53:21Speaker 1: I knew it. But when she moved in and started
- 53:24Speaker 1: taking out all like throwing all your legos away and
- 53:27Speaker 1: saying these are away. Okay, when she came there's no
- 53:31Speaker 1: such thing as legos, it's lego. To calm down, calm down, Okay,
- 53:36Speaker 1: here we go, Here we go, um um, calm down.
- 53:41Speaker 1: Did when she came in and said, these legos gotta
- 53:44Speaker 1: get off the dining room table, and these arcade games
- 53:47Speaker 1: gotta go, and this poker table's getting the funk out
- 53:49Speaker 1: of here, did you have any thoughts of like, oh no, no,
- 53:54Speaker 1: it's what I wanted. I was ready for that, you
- 53:57Speaker 1: know what I mean. I knew that that's what I
- 53:59Speaker 1: want it. Do I miss the video games? Do I
- 54:03Speaker 1: miss the lego? Do I miss the poker table? Yes?
- 54:09Speaker 1: Yes I do. But I love my wife and kids. Yes,
- 54:14Speaker 1: Oh no, don't go get this is the level you
- 54:16Speaker 1: want to get to, Billy being so pee whipped that
- 54:18Speaker 1: you can't leave your wife for a simple podcast. Well,
- 54:22Speaker 1: I know Dane just moved in with his lady. Yeah,
- 54:25Speaker 1: I got I have some advice for you, Let's say,
- 54:28Speaker 1: are you guys furnishing an entire place? No, so you
- 54:31Speaker 1: have Yeah, we're lucky. Her mom actually has a place
- 54:35Speaker 1: that we're renting from her mom, so it's already furnished.
- 54:37Speaker 1: So yeah, so it's a good situation for that. Yeah, well,
- 54:40Speaker 1: I was My main advice was going to be, when
- 54:42Speaker 1: you move in together, take the first month to set
- 54:45Speaker 1: up everything. Like if it means you're putting off every
- 54:48Speaker 1: plan that you're going to have, like just set up
- 54:51Speaker 1: everything in the first month so you don't leave anything
- 54:53Speaker 1: hanging around. Like we're dealing with a dresser that we
- 54:56Speaker 1: ordered months ago that was back ordered that we finally
- 55:00Speaker 1: that we don't like that we're now returning. We are
- 55:02Speaker 1: still without a fucking dresser to put our clothes in.
- 55:05Speaker 1: And it sucks and it's like a piece of tension
- 55:08Speaker 1: because we don't have this one thing covered. And it's
- 55:10Speaker 1: not because we didn't handle it. It's because everything was
- 55:13Speaker 1: back ordered then we got it and it wasn't what
- 55:15Speaker 1: we wanted, et cetera. Blah blah blah. Like there's a
- 55:17Speaker 1: lot of things to get in the way, but if
- 55:18Speaker 1: you can do everything you can to set up everything
- 55:21Speaker 1: in your house. In the first month. You will be
- 55:23Speaker 1: so much happier. You won't have let anything hang on.
- 55:25Speaker 1: There won't be this like lingering tension about you want
- 55:27Speaker 1: to get this thing done or that thing done. Just
- 55:29Speaker 1: set everything up in the first month. Just get it
- 55:31Speaker 1: all done as fast as you possibly can so that
- 55:33Speaker 1: you can continue living your life. And what about the boxes.
- 55:36Speaker 1: You said you were going to say some about boxes.
- 55:38Speaker 1: Keep the boxes. The reason that I'm saying keep the
- 55:39Speaker 1: boxes is not so that you can move out quickly.
- 55:41Speaker 1: It's so that in case you don't like something, you
- 55:44Speaker 1: can return it. You still have the original box. Because
- 55:47Speaker 1: a lot of these furniture companies are going to nickel
- 55:49Speaker 1: and dime you about stuff like, oh well, it's not
- 55:51Speaker 1: returned in the original box, and like you'll get something
- 55:53Speaker 1: with White Glove Delivery and they'll take the boxes and
- 55:56Speaker 1: you'll say, oh great, they threw away the trash. But
- 55:57Speaker 1: then the return policy is so specific about you have
- 56:00Speaker 1: to return the thing in the original box, even though
- 56:02Speaker 1: our White Glove Delivery service took the fucking boxes away.
- 56:06Speaker 1: A raw nerve. We found a raw nerve with Dane
- 56:09Speaker 1: um No Billy. I had an idea that exercise you
- 56:13Speaker 1: could do when you're in your van together, um, pooping
- 56:16Speaker 1: in a bucket. You could turn to her and say, honey, um, no,
- 56:22Speaker 1: I'm being serious. You could say, um, hey, let's talk
- 56:25Speaker 1: about things that are pet peeves of yours before we
- 56:28Speaker 1: moving together. That are little things like, you know, whatever
- 56:32Speaker 1: the stereotypic toilet seed or the way that that that
- 56:34Speaker 1: the toilet paper should go over not under, or or
- 56:37Speaker 1: any little minutia. What are things, my darling sweetheart, whom
- 56:41Speaker 1: I love so much? Sounds a little contescending. I'm adding
- 56:45Speaker 1: the twist on Billy will say it much kinder. What
- 56:48Speaker 1: are things that, uh that when you live with a roommate,
- 56:51Speaker 1: whether it was a part of a lover or a friend,
- 56:54Speaker 1: that that have irked you before? Um, and I don't
- 56:57Speaker 1: want to do those things right? And then she can
- 56:59Speaker 1: have her turn. You can make it funny, you guys
- 57:01Speaker 1: can joke about it, make make a list. But I
- 57:03Speaker 1: think going into it being like, I had no idea
- 57:06Speaker 1: that you really fucking hate it when anyone leaves, you know, whatever,
- 57:10Speaker 1: the dishes in the sink, whatever, whatever it is. And
- 57:14Speaker 1: then and then then you then you get like maybe
- 57:16Speaker 1: ten things out of the way, it's like you're clear
- 57:18Speaker 1: on on on those things. Yeah, I judge with her
- 57:21Speaker 1: that because I'm very messy, that she's gonna have to
- 57:23Speaker 1: get me a shot caller and every single time she's
- 57:27Speaker 1: just gonna have to buzz me until I was finally
- 57:29Speaker 1: trained into cleaning up after myself and not being so messy.
- 57:33Speaker 1: That wouldn't make me want to move in with you
- 57:34Speaker 1: right away? Yeah I could. I get electrically electrically every
- 57:39Speaker 1: time you do something I don't like, yeah, I'm moving in,
- 57:43Speaker 1: or maybe just just no going into it. You can't
- 57:45Speaker 1: be messy or it's gonna be a friction. So just
- 57:47Speaker 1: like you, you you know you have to you have
- 57:50Speaker 1: to take on cohabitation with knowing you're gonna make some
- 57:54Speaker 1: you know what's the word, uh um, compromisation. You're gonna
- 58:00Speaker 1: make some compromises. You know you don't want to if
- 58:02Speaker 1: you want it to go well. I feel like couples
- 58:04Speaker 1: often argue by stuff it's so trivial, just because they
- 58:07Speaker 1: never really worked it out, and then they don't want
- 58:09Speaker 1: to say anything because let's like, let's not sweat the
- 58:11Speaker 1: small stuff. But then it builds and you become resentful
- 58:13Speaker 1: and you're like, motherfucker, change that dialing rale. I have
- 58:16Speaker 1: a sticker. I have a post a note on my
- 58:18Speaker 1: computer that says stop yelling because sometimes I mean not yell,
- 58:23Speaker 1: but I get I definitely vocalize my video game frustration.
- 58:26Speaker 1: Oh I thought you yelling at her? No, I thought
- 58:29Speaker 1: you yelling at her posted saying don't you yell? Whoa? No? Absolutely,
- 58:34Speaker 1: my kid, and you might have a lot of Do
- 58:36Speaker 1: you do a lot of this, Daniel? No, No, it's
- 58:40Speaker 1: not like that. It's rage. Do you do a lot
- 58:41Speaker 1: of rage? It's it's not it's not raging as much
- 58:44Speaker 1: as it is like very excitedly yelling about things that
- 58:47Speaker 1: are about to happen. No, no, no, no no, no no no,
- 58:54Speaker 1: it's more like giant potion. Do you work? You should
- 58:58Speaker 1: if you saw, if you saw her D and D
- 59:00Speaker 1: stream from a couple of days ago, you would know
- 59:02Speaker 1: that anytime we get caught by a trap or something,
- 59:04Speaker 1: my character gets very upset that you've walked into a
- 59:08Speaker 1: trap again, What were you thinking? Anyway? Is your character
- 59:11Speaker 1: British Channel? Yeah yeah, Gorth Clamley, he's a bard, haffling bards. Okay, wait, wait,
- 59:17Speaker 1: one more question? Is this a video game? Or you're
- 59:19Speaker 1: playing the board game D and D. We're playing the
- 59:21Speaker 1: board game D and D, but we play with what's
- 59:23Speaker 1: called a virtual tabletop where it all takes place from
- 59:25Speaker 1: the computer. So we're all on Zoom together. Wow, that's
- 59:28Speaker 1: how we got through the quarantine. Come on, now, that's
- 59:31Speaker 1: how you got through the quarantine virtual tabletops. Yes, it's great.
- 59:38Speaker 1: You're invited every Wednesday. Welcome, Billy, You're welcome. And hey, Billy,
- 59:43Speaker 1: if you're ever in South the California, have a couch
- 59:45Speaker 1: for you when things don't work out, thank you? Yeah, yeah,
- 59:48Speaker 1: I might need that. Just drive over. You don't have
- 59:50Speaker 1: to poop in a bucket and you can just stay
- 59:52Speaker 1: on my couch. Okay, that'll be a relief. And don't
- 59:54Speaker 1: like poop in the buckets. Listen, all kids, all kidding aside.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: You know, if you guys are willing to live in
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: a van together and go through this, I have a
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: feeling you'll do great in a house, you know what
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: I mean? I agree, Yeah, I'm hopeful, and Daniel, I
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: think you're right with getting everything set up beforehand. One
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: thing we learned about living in a van is that
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: minor annoyances become big annoyances over time, and so eliminating
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: those makes life a lot easier. So I think that
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: that's a great one. And here my listening, I'm telling
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: you it's gonna be good. Billy. Yeah, say, honey, darling,
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: what are some things that really annoy you about cohabitating
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: with someone? Yeah, I'll have it. Write that right now,
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: and then you do yours, and then you could like
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: make it funny, do it over drink, would be hilarious.
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: If it's like if it turns out to be like
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: Elliott in this episode where we're like right away, within
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: four minutes of her telling him what pisses her off,
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: he's like, I can't live with this woman. Yeah no.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: And in the shift in the episode, in the episode
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: because of Billy sexual sexual fantasy, oh yes, with the
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: new boyfriend. Yeah, he tells her, he tells her in private,
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: and five minutes later she's like, what the fuck? And
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: they break up. Cut of it, and we never ever
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: learned what he said. We never know what his twisted
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: fantasy was. Um, all right, Billy, good luck and thanks
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: for coming on, and we did. Yeah you guys well,
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: and hey, before I go, I just gotta say thank
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: you for let you know the impact that Scrubs had
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: in my life. Told Jell this, But when I was
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: twenty years old, I was diagnosed with a pretty serious
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: heart condition, actually a heart condition that the I learned
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: the real j D actually treats in its current practice,
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: So that was kind of a fun fact. But I
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: spent the next couple of years in and out of
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: hospitals a lot, even having heart surgery when I was
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: twenty four. And one thing that always helped me through
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: every time I'd have to go to the hospital or
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: a doctor because I felt, you know, pretty scared and nervous,
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: is that I would always just imagine that I was
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: on an episode of Scrubs, and it would always make
- 1:01:59Speaker 1: me feel that I a little bit better. And I
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: was always just waiting for, you know, doctor Dorian or
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: doctor Church to come around the corner and tell me
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: everything was going to be all right. So thank you
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: guys so much for everything you're doing. You're very sweet
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: and I'm so happy that you're okay. Now. You look fantastic. Yeah,
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: doing great, So thank you guys so much, our pleasure.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: Thanks for coming on, brother, Thank you so much. All right,
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: have we go on? All right, guys, and that's our show.
- 1:02:27Speaker 1: I think we did it, Donald, right, I'm pretty sure
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: we did it. Um all right, Well that was really
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: cool man. You know, it's always great to hear from
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: UH fans and listeners. You know, I have comfort that
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: I turned to when I'm down and out and stuff
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: like that, And it's really cool to be a part
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: of something that so many people use as a as
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: a as a comfort. That's so true. We hear that
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: all the time, and every time I hear it brings
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: a giant smile on my face, that that we brought
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: anyone any amount of comfort. Um, all right, we love you,
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: and we hope you're happy. We hope this finds you smiling,
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: and we'll see you next time. Donald five six seven eight.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: Aories about Shure we made about a bunch of doctor
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: nurses and Jannita who love me. Here, I said, he's
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: the stories natural should no so gada around you. Here
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: are gata around you, Here are spect free watch yours.
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: Mm hmmm
