- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the almost famous podcast with her radio All right,
- 0:05Speaker 1: Bob Guiney, Mr Bob Guiney, I should say that's what
- 0:08Speaker 1: he changed his Zoom title to be. Maybe I should
- 0:11Speaker 1: change mine to something other than Trista no space Cutter.
- 0:15Speaker 1: That's right, you know, mademoiselle, Mademoiselle. Hello, Happy Wednesday or
- 0:25Speaker 1: happy weeks everybody. Welcome to the almost famous o G
- 0:31Speaker 1: podcast with Me, Trista Cutter and Bob Guiney. How you doing, Bob,
- 0:35Speaker 1: I am fantastic, Thanks for asking. I am feeling all
- 0:38Speaker 1: every inch of an o G. Do we have babies
- 0:40Speaker 1: in the background, No, no crying babies right now. It's
- 0:43Speaker 1: a good moment for us right now. So probably a
- 0:46Speaker 1: great time for us to be doing this, this podcast,
- 0:48Speaker 1: because you can change, that can change very quickly, as
- 0:51Speaker 1: you well know. Well no, I mean, thankfully my kids
- 0:55Speaker 1: aren't at the age where there you know, screaming and crying. Um,
- 1:00Speaker 1: but I do have a sick daughter at home today,
- 1:03Speaker 1: which is Yeah, it's a bummer, especially because this is
- 1:07Speaker 1: recital week, and for dancers, recital week is your only
- 1:10Speaker 1: week you know, you get to show if you if
- 1:13Speaker 1: you're a hockey player. Max has however, many thirty forty
- 1:17Speaker 1: whatever hockey games in a season. This is one one
- 1:20Speaker 1: recital weekend. So I'm like, you are just going to
- 1:24Speaker 1: chug some water. You are going to and she's not
- 1:27Speaker 1: necessarily really sick, it's just she's feeling low and low
- 1:31Speaker 1: grade fever. So I'm like, get lots of water on you,
- 1:35Speaker 1: and you just are going to lay in bed all days. Namesake,
- 1:40Speaker 1: Blake just had a bison pouch. I mean, it's so weird.
- 1:45Speaker 1: So okay, this is what we talked about here almost
- 1:48Speaker 1: famous rg my. I mean, whatever happens. So when they
- 1:52Speaker 1: came up with the pouches for babies, right, and you
- 1:54Speaker 1: see people with those little pouches of food, and I
- 1:57Speaker 1: always thought, I don't know what you're talking about. What
- 1:59Speaker 1: do you mean, like like a squirt like a tube? Yes,
- 2:02Speaker 1: so kind of like a tube, like you can squirt
- 2:04Speaker 1: the food into their mouth or you can squirt them.
- 2:06Speaker 1: But it's just a way of well, my wife, my
- 2:10Speaker 1: wife is super mom to the degree of her like
- 2:14Speaker 1: going online and researching things. She felt like our son
- 2:17Speaker 1: needed some more protein, and so she found these meat pouches.
- 2:21Speaker 1: It's the best way to put It's a meat pouch.
- 2:24Speaker 1: They have. It's the grossest thing I've ever seen in
- 2:26Speaker 1: my life. It's like, Bison what And uh, We're in
- 2:32Speaker 1: my car the other day and she's you know, she's
- 2:34Speaker 1: she's like, oh, I just gave Blake a Bison pouch
- 2:37Speaker 1: and like that sounds gross and she's like, and I
- 2:40Speaker 1: can't find it. I dropped it somewhere, Like you did
- 2:43Speaker 1: not drop it on the floor. Yeah, well yeah, I'm like,
- 2:45Speaker 1: is it on the floor of my car? Because I
- 2:47Speaker 1: will freak out? And uh, we finally tracked it down,
- 2:51Speaker 1: but needless to say, now I'm looking at mobile detailing
- 2:53Speaker 1: services because that's why. So before we got on the zoom,
- 3:00Speaker 1: Bob was explaining that he was in the search for
- 3:03Speaker 1: mobile detailing that he can't find anybody because everybody's book
- 3:06Speaker 1: and now booked. And now I know why. That makes
- 3:09Speaker 1: total sense because can you imagine stuck in your car
- 3:13Speaker 1: in the heat and oh the stench of that. Um,
- 3:20Speaker 1: this was my this is my birthday gift from my
- 3:22Speaker 1: son sweets. Isn't that nice? I love that. It's very
- 3:30Speaker 1: good at gift giving, you know, Grayson really is. He
- 3:33Speaker 1: gets out there, he gets his hands dirty, starts digging
- 3:35Speaker 1: through some bins, and this one actually looked like it
- 3:38Speaker 1: could have been made by him because it's not technically Uh,
- 3:43Speaker 1: it doesn't. It doesn't measure up. It's not like that.
- 3:45Speaker 1: It's all warped and weird, and you know, I kind
- 3:48Speaker 1: of like it, just like his daddy, all warped in weird. Yeah,
- 3:54Speaker 1: that's what you should put in your bio, all warped
- 3:56Speaker 1: in weird. Um. So, so, okay, we have some big
- 4:01Speaker 1: news and Bachelor Nation. Yeah, we sure do. It's crazy, Holy,
- 4:07Speaker 1: this is big, Like I I don't I don't recall.
- 4:10Speaker 1: I feel like since the Bachelor started, it has always
- 4:15Speaker 1: been primetime fall, Like that's when the leads come out
- 4:20Speaker 1: and the new season hits. Always since our time. Um well,
- 4:26Speaker 1: I mean it's always because you're right. And they just
- 4:31Speaker 1: announced that Bachelor in Paradise is kind of taking over
- 4:36Speaker 1: Primes so they are taking the Dancing with the Stars slot, which,
- 4:41Speaker 1: oh my gosh, Dancing with the Stars is now moving
- 4:43Speaker 1: to Disney Plus, which is a huge move to you know,
- 4:49Speaker 1: the streaming thing. I mean, it's crazy because I'm not
- 4:51Speaker 1: a big streaming content person. Um yeah, you know, I'm
- 4:55Speaker 1: very technically, Uh, I'm a dinosaur when it comes to
- 4:58Speaker 1: that stuff. I don't know what I'm doing. I'm very
- 5:00Speaker 1: challenge but they everybody's making these big investments in this
- 5:03Speaker 1: streaming stuff, and I mean I do now, you know,
- 5:06Speaker 1: with we have like a really cool little kind of
- 5:08Speaker 1: movie theater room in my house and I go in
- 5:10Speaker 1: there and pull pull up Hulu and pull up this
- 5:11Speaker 1: and pull up that. And yes, now Dancing the Star
- 5:14Speaker 1: is gonna be on Disney Plus, which is bananas. It's bananas.
- 5:20Speaker 1: I really feel like this is kind of a signal
- 5:24Speaker 1: as to how the world of media. I mean, it
- 5:28Speaker 1: has been changing for years, obviously with all of the apps. Um,
- 5:33Speaker 1: but this is huge, I feel like for the network
- 5:35Speaker 1: to do, especially because Bachelorette or Bachelor has always been
- 5:40Speaker 1: kind of the the top of the tier in you know,
- 5:45Speaker 1: Bachelor Nation shows. Um, but I guess Bachelor in Paradise,
- 5:49Speaker 1: I mean, and it's going to be four hours every
- 5:52Speaker 1: week four hours of Bachelor in Paradise, which I personally love.
- 5:56Speaker 1: I mean, I love seeing all of the characters from
- 5:59Speaker 1: all different seasons interact and you know, not just from
- 6:03Speaker 1: one season. I obviously love Bachelorette and will be excited
- 6:08Speaker 1: when it comes out this summer, which it will be
- 6:10Speaker 1: out this summer. I don't know if we mentioned that.
- 6:13Speaker 1: So instead of fall, Bachelorette is moving to the summer,
- 6:16Speaker 1: and then Bachelor in Paradise is moving to Dancing with
- 6:19Speaker 1: the Stars, the Dancing with the Star slot. What do
- 6:21Speaker 1: you think, like, do you think that people are gonna
- 6:24Speaker 1: continue to watch? You think they're going to show up more?
- 6:28Speaker 1: You think the ratings are going to be better like this?
- 6:30Speaker 1: What do you think? You know? I mean, it's gonna
- 6:32Speaker 1: be interesting to see. I mean one thing about it, though,
- 6:34Speaker 1: I mean I don't particularly I'm not super invested in
- 6:38Speaker 1: it myself for being a viewer from that perspective, But
- 6:42Speaker 1: it is a lot more fun, right, there's not there's
- 6:44Speaker 1: not this like onus on you know, Oh, if they
- 6:47Speaker 1: don't get engaged, then they're a failure. It's basically like Mayhem.
- 6:50Speaker 1: And then you're gonna have you know, Jesse stepping in.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Jesse's gonna step in on this one to host at
- 6:54Speaker 1: Wells is going to be the carryover factor from the
- 6:57Speaker 1: bartender perspective, which I think he was a great job,
- 7:00Speaker 1: super cool guy. I agree, you know, I think I
- 7:02Speaker 1: think it's going to be still a fun show. It's
- 7:04Speaker 1: it's actually probably gonna be a lot more fun for
- 7:06Speaker 1: the viewer from the standpoint is watching all this craziness
- 7:09Speaker 1: because in the past, I think it was an hour long, right,
- 7:13Speaker 1: and now it's going to be two hours on Monday
- 7:15Speaker 1: and two hours on Tuesday. Is that right? Um, let's see,
- 7:18Speaker 1: we'll be tuesdays. Yeah, Monday We're Dancing with the Stars
- 7:23Speaker 1: was and then Tuesday for two hours each. Yeah, that's
- 7:27Speaker 1: I mean, I mean, that's that's a lot for these
- 7:29Speaker 1: producers who we all know are crazy. Well, you know what,
- 7:33Speaker 1: it's it's a lot more for the editors because there's
- 7:35Speaker 1: always been footage, Like what everyone sees from the shows
- 7:39Speaker 1: is a fraction of what happens, so much of it
- 7:43Speaker 1: ends up on the cutting room floor. So I feel
- 7:46Speaker 1: like we just get to see more of that that
- 7:49Speaker 1: ends up on the cutting room floor, which I think
- 7:51Speaker 1: is great for context. Yeah, I think it's just madness.
- 7:53Speaker 1: I think one thing about these shows that I think
- 7:55Speaker 1: it is so fun. I think when they first did
- 7:57Speaker 1: um okay was it was Bachelor Pass Bachelor Pet So
- 8:03Speaker 1: I think I may have told you this story. I'm
- 8:04Speaker 1: not sure if I did or not, but they called
- 8:06Speaker 1: me I was I was a single at the time,
- 8:09Speaker 1: and they called me. They're like, hey, would you I
- 8:11Speaker 1: want to come on Bachlar Pad and I thought they
- 8:12Speaker 1: meant to host it, so I go, I go, sure,
- 8:15Speaker 1: that'd be a lot of fun. I would totally host
- 8:17Speaker 1: that show. I'm like, Chris is cool with it. I mean,
- 8:19Speaker 1: I go, Chris is my boy, you know, And they go, oh, no, no,
- 8:22Speaker 1: we want to get a lead to come on the
- 8:25Speaker 1: show who's not currently in a relate and we we
- 8:27Speaker 1: just think you'd be the right guy. Friend. I'm like
- 8:28Speaker 1: me for Bachelor Pat and they go yeah, go no, no, no, no,
- 8:32Speaker 1: and that's what you mean. I said, Well, I go,
- 8:34Speaker 1: First of all, I'll get killed on that show. I'm like,
- 8:36Speaker 1: I am not. They're like, well, you know there's you're
- 8:39Speaker 1: very athletic, we know that. I'm like, oh no, I
- 8:40Speaker 1: don't mean like that. I said. I am the guy
- 8:42Speaker 1: that would go on there and just be all open book, trusty, nicey,
- 8:45Speaker 1: sweet guy. I go, and these people are coming on
- 8:47Speaker 1: like Survivor style with alliances and missions. I can see it.
- 8:52Speaker 1: I'm like, I'll get destroyed. I'm like that'd be like
- 8:55Speaker 1: I'm a celebrity, get me out of here or whatever
- 8:56Speaker 1: that show was where you go they're all just you know,
- 8:59Speaker 1: going after each I'm like, absolutely not, man, I'm like,
- 9:02Speaker 1: this was for the first season, for the first one. Yeah,
- 9:05Speaker 1: So after when you were watching it, I assume you
- 9:07Speaker 1: watched it, did you think, Oh, I wish I would
- 9:10Speaker 1: have done it, or I'm like, you're like a smart man.
- 9:14Speaker 1: I was so proud of myself because I'm like, I
- 9:16Speaker 1: said no, but I mean I said know a lot
- 9:18Speaker 1: of stuff, but that one in particular, I was like,
- 9:20Speaker 1: thank god I didn't do this because I would have
- 9:24Speaker 1: been oh my gosh. I mean, it was tough enough.
- 9:27Speaker 1: When we were talking to Prince Lazobo last week, it
- 9:30Speaker 1: was tough enough to go out there and be on
- 9:32Speaker 1: camera in front of your family anyway in a dating
- 9:34Speaker 1: scenario and things that nature. To go on there and
- 9:36Speaker 1: just be destroyed. Yeah, yeah, not a chance. I'm not
- 9:41Speaker 1: cut thrown enough, Like I'm not the guy that could
- 9:43Speaker 1: be nice to you. And then when you walk away
- 9:45Speaker 1: and be like, let's get them, like, I just I
- 9:47Speaker 1: can't do it. We need to have a couple of
- 9:48Speaker 1: people from the original season of Bachelor pad on here.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Let's get what we do. We have, we have we
- 9:54Speaker 1: have a guest today who's going to be on there?
- 9:55Speaker 1: It was well, true story, true story. I I I'm
- 9:58Speaker 1: thinking about Holly Um because Holly. Wasn't it the first
- 10:02Speaker 1: season that she won or split the money? Oh no?
- 10:06Speaker 1: What didn't it come down to? Uh? To a guy
- 10:08Speaker 1: and a girl stand there, And the twist was they
- 10:12Speaker 1: had to say they were either going to split the
- 10:14Speaker 1: money or one was going to keep it, and the
- 10:16Speaker 1: dude kept it. The dude kept it, Yes, and she
- 10:19Speaker 1: was right. I need to remember who those people are.
- 10:24Speaker 1: But Um. In the meantime, while we're figuring this out,
- 10:27Speaker 1: because I really would love to talk about Bachelor Pad,
- 10:29Speaker 1: I feel like you and I should watch the first
- 10:32Speaker 1: season or at least maybe a synopsis of it if
- 10:35Speaker 1: we can find one, and and get back with what
- 10:39Speaker 1: happened back then and then have a couple of people on.
- 10:41Speaker 1: But we do have our first guest today, somebody that
- 10:45Speaker 1: I actually adore and somebody who there she is, well,
- 10:51Speaker 1: she's she's here, so she didn't even give me time,
- 10:56Speaker 1: which her fault. It's sorry, so great to see you,
- 11:00Speaker 1: and I don't think i've ever met you in person. No,
- 11:03Speaker 1: we've never gotten to meet before. Never both of you
- 11:09Speaker 1: need that needs to happen because both of you are
- 11:11Speaker 1: just two of my faves. Um, thank you all right, Tilly,
- 11:16Speaker 1: how are you? What is up? You know obviously lots
- 11:20Speaker 1: have changed, A lot has changed since you were on
- 11:22Speaker 1: the show, shows, lots of Bachelor in Paradise is how
- 11:26Speaker 1: is life now? Tell us about you know what's going on? Oh?
- 11:32Speaker 1: Life is so good. Um, they just celebrated four years
- 11:36Speaker 1: of marriage to my husband Taylor. We have a almost
- 11:40Speaker 1: twenty months old daughter and she is just growing so
- 11:44Speaker 1: fast and a ton of fun. Um, but we're actually
- 11:48Speaker 1: in that very challenging stage. I am a little bit
- 11:51Speaker 1: behind schedule this morning because she just wanted to do
- 11:54Speaker 1: what she wanted to do, so she how long my plan?
- 11:58Speaker 1: But life is so of course, I think that stage
- 12:00Speaker 1: continues until they're teenagers, right, Trista, No, I think it
- 12:03Speaker 1: continues through teenagers. Yeah, but that was actually one of
- 12:09Speaker 1: my favorite ages because they you can really see their
- 12:13Speaker 1: personalities shining through, Like they can talk, they can walk,
- 12:16Speaker 1: you know. There they're probably going to give you a
- 12:20Speaker 1: little bit of a hard time every so often, but
- 12:22Speaker 1: they still love to cuddle and I just love that stage.
- 12:26Speaker 1: From this section though, is getting real like where she's
- 12:31Speaker 1: where it's not just baby cuddles and snuggles. It's like
- 12:34Speaker 1: she's cho things to be like mama. You know, it's
- 12:38Speaker 1: so good, Kenley, What was your daughter's first words? Where
- 12:42Speaker 1: it was it mama or was it dada? Know? It
- 12:44Speaker 1: was data And it was like on my birthday left
- 12:47Speaker 1: here like so about a year ago tomorrow, um, and
- 12:52Speaker 1: she said data and it was just devastating. Are you kidding?
- 13:00Speaker 1: Or what Mother's day? It was either my birthday or
- 13:02Speaker 1: Mother's day. She said data, Happy birthday tomorrow. And that's
- 13:06Speaker 1: a bumber. My son, my my my son who's now
- 13:09Speaker 1: three and a half, his first words were dada, at
- 13:11Speaker 1: which I was very excited about. And then our our
- 13:14Speaker 1: baby who's almost eleven, minds on the first his first
- 13:18Speaker 1: words came out the other day and they were mama.
- 13:25Speaker 1: I had one or the like one for both of you.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Really really cool though, But it's so funny how I am.
- 13:36Speaker 1: I was My mind was blown that I was like
- 13:39Speaker 1: the one that was doing everything for this time and
- 13:42Speaker 1: she said data. But I think it's just all you had, Mama.
- 13:47Speaker 1: She didn't have to ask for me. That's a good point.
- 13:50Speaker 1: It's that's the way to look at it. And I think,
- 13:54Speaker 1: if I remember correctly when I was studying child development
- 13:57Speaker 1: as a pediatric physical therapist, I believe mom, mama is
- 14:01Speaker 1: easier to say than the d's the opposite. I think
- 14:07Speaker 1: the ds are easier to say than the than the mama.
- 14:10Speaker 1: I think you've had it right the first time. I mean,
- 14:11Speaker 1: I think the other one I've been out just like
- 14:17Speaker 1: mumble mumble mumble. I'm like that. That doesn't sound like
- 14:19Speaker 1: mama to me. Dad as definitive. That takes time. Oh, yes, right, exactly.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Gi Um okay, Tunley. So we just announced um that
- 14:29Speaker 1: I don't know if you've heard yet, but Bachelor in
- 14:31Speaker 1: Paradise is taking over for the Dancing with the Spot
- 14:35Speaker 1: stars spot on Monday nights in the fall and Tuesday nights,
- 14:40Speaker 1: so it will be four hours a Bachelor in Paradise
- 14:43Speaker 1: in the fall, and then The Bachelorette is airing in
- 14:45Speaker 1: the summer. Yeah wait, that's okay, that's huge. I do
- 14:49Speaker 1: think that Paradise is such a hit and people love
- 14:53Speaker 1: to watch it. There's so many more avenues to get
- 14:56Speaker 1: invested in with all the different relationships and even dramas
- 15:01Speaker 1: and circles and triangles and all that stuff. But I
- 15:05Speaker 1: am blown away what happened Dancing with the starts. They're
- 15:08Speaker 1: going on Disney Plus streaming platform. Yeah, isn't that crazy?
- 15:14Speaker 1: I mean, huge decision for ABC. I guess they're neck
- 15:18Speaker 1: and neck and ratings too, so it's not it's not
- 15:20Speaker 1: too dissimilar of a move for them, right is that
- 15:22Speaker 1: what we were reading? So um, yeah, this show is
- 15:27Speaker 1: oh really, oh my god, Well that's such a shock.
- 15:30Speaker 1: I mean, I'm a big fan. I have to admit
- 15:32Speaker 1: that over the last couple of years as a dancer,
- 15:35Speaker 1: like I actually have stopped watching Dancing with the Stars.
- 15:40Speaker 1: I you know, I would if somebody I was familiar
- 15:43Speaker 1: with was on. I try to catch their dances or
- 15:45Speaker 1: cheer for them or you know, support them however possible.
- 15:48Speaker 1: But but something which is funny. I know that this
- 15:52Speaker 1: isn't the same for all past former Bachelor people, but like,
- 15:57Speaker 1: I can't miss a paradise, so a right move. But
- 16:02Speaker 1: I am actually shocked, but regrets to the Bachelor of
- 16:04Speaker 1: franchise on that that's a big move. But when you
- 16:08Speaker 1: happened with Bachelorette airing during the summer, though, I know
- 16:12Speaker 1: I'm really wondering if people are going to tune in
- 16:15Speaker 1: more or less, Like I I think that they really
- 16:19Speaker 1: wanted you know, it was it was totally water cooler
- 16:21Speaker 1: talk when it came to Bachelor in Paradise, like and
- 16:24Speaker 1: it's the same with Bachelorette. But like you said, with
- 16:27Speaker 1: all of the cast of characters, there's so many, so
- 16:30Speaker 1: many different avenues instead of just kind of one relationship
- 16:34Speaker 1: with multiple people. So I am really interested to see
- 16:39Speaker 1: what happens well, and they do. I mean, they're kind
- 16:42Speaker 1: of pulling. I guess if they're going to try it
- 16:45Speaker 1: right now would be the time because they're kind of
- 16:48Speaker 1: pulling in that same effort. In a sense, with two
- 16:52Speaker 1: bachelorette there will be a little bit more to get
- 16:54Speaker 1: invested in, like you get invested in very true about
- 16:59Speaker 1: why old and how they planned that line up. So, Telly,
- 17:02Speaker 1: what was your experience, like I'm Bachelor in Paradise. Was
- 17:04Speaker 1: it awesome? Did you have a blast? I don't recall,
- 17:06Speaker 1: I mean, I know I watched it, but yeah, well, um,
- 17:10Speaker 1: I'll give you a little background up it. I went
- 17:15Speaker 1: I was a runner up on Jake Pavel because season
- 17:19Speaker 1: and God had me there, um um into know I
- 17:27Speaker 1: had a really really great time. I was actually just
- 17:30Speaker 1: the perfect thing for me. I end up going on
- 17:32Speaker 1: the first Bachelor Pad and UM ended up in a
- 17:37Speaker 1: relationship for a long time from that, and then ended
- 17:39Speaker 1: up single. And then it was the perfect timing when
- 17:42Speaker 1: I got the offer to go on the second season
- 17:44Speaker 1: of Paradise. And when I was there, I had the
- 17:47Speaker 1: bedtime because I, UM, for the first time, I was
- 17:51Speaker 1: just really ready and to focus on exactly the things
- 17:56Speaker 1: that I wanted. UM, but I also knew that I
- 17:59Speaker 1: could have a good time and UM by that point,
- 18:02Speaker 1: it being my third show, kind of looking forward to
- 18:05Speaker 1: that excuse to put your phone away, uh, saying up
- 18:09Speaker 1: the responsibilities of work and stuff and just to play
- 18:12Speaker 1: and get to know people and kind of like check
- 18:14Speaker 1: in with myself. And that's probably the coolest part of
- 18:18Speaker 1: all of that stuff. UM, You're forced to strip yourself
- 18:23Speaker 1: of those things, and I really took advantage of that inward,
- 18:27Speaker 1: looking at myself like UM and growing each time. So
- 18:30Speaker 1: Paradise was a great experience. UM didn't walk away in
- 18:33Speaker 1: a relationship, but that was a perfect setup for then
- 18:38Speaker 1: meeting my husband not too long after that. Yeah, I
- 18:41Speaker 1: love how you put that I have. I don't know
- 18:44Speaker 1: that I've ever heard anyone explain our situations in going
- 18:49Speaker 1: on any of the Bachelor, Bachelor at Bachelor Pad, Bachelor
- 18:52Speaker 1: in Paradise that way, and that you were grateful, like
- 18:55Speaker 1: you were looking forward to that part. Most of just
- 19:00Speaker 1: you know, not looking at your phone, not connecting to
- 19:02Speaker 1: your computer, throwing your responsibilities or hanging them up as
- 19:05Speaker 1: you say, yeah, I think that's a great way to
- 19:08Speaker 1: look at it. By the third time, you kind of
- 19:10Speaker 1: know that you get to do that. The first time
- 19:13Speaker 1: I had when I was on the Bachelor, I didn't
- 19:17Speaker 1: have any expectations. I thought, you know, I was going
- 19:20Speaker 1: to be the first night girl, like go home and
- 19:22Speaker 1: all that stuff. But um, just there there were different
- 19:27Speaker 1: plans for me and it ended up being I think
- 19:29Speaker 1: because I went out went in with no expectations at all. UM,
- 19:34Speaker 1: it allowed me to have this really well. I was
- 19:37Speaker 1: a very broken person coming out of a really hard
- 19:41Speaker 1: um relationship of going into the Bachelor, and it was
- 19:44Speaker 1: really young and naive, and UM, I just feel like
- 19:49Speaker 1: I was able to use that experience because again with
- 19:52Speaker 1: no expectation, UM to really heal And that was kind
- 19:57Speaker 1: of my first set up to really understanding like what
- 20:00Speaker 1: I could use the show for. Of course, like there's
- 20:03Speaker 1: all these other wonderful opportunities that come of it, But
- 20:06Speaker 1: for me, at the end of the day, every single
- 20:09Speaker 1: one of those experiences have been a growing experience. So
- 20:12Speaker 1: it's kind of sad to be how everybody does go
- 20:14Speaker 1: in with an agenda. Not everybody, but now most definitely
- 20:19Speaker 1: an agenda. Um, there's definitely an expectation, there's definitely an
- 20:24Speaker 1: idea of what can happen or what you're going to
- 20:26Speaker 1: face because we've seen it all and we've seen what
- 20:30Speaker 1: people the opportunity that people come out with, and I'm
- 20:32Speaker 1: grateful for those, but it's it's interesting. I don't think
- 20:35Speaker 1: that anybody's experiencing quite like what I did. Yeah, well,
- 20:41Speaker 1: imagine imagine back in mine, in Trista's days, when it
- 20:44Speaker 1: was you know, still black and white TV, and I
- 20:48Speaker 1: mean we literally we had zero expectations. I remember Lisa
- 20:56Speaker 1: even saying to me, like, what did you what did
- 20:57Speaker 1: you expect was going to happen? When after they had
- 21:00Speaker 1: me to be a bachelor and stuff, And I'm like,
- 21:01Speaker 1: not this, I have no idea what I thought was
- 21:03Speaker 1: gonna happen, you know, it was like she's like, yeah,
- 21:06Speaker 1: this is crazy. I'm like, this is banez. But that
- 21:08Speaker 1: is really nice. That's refreshing to hear you say that,
- 21:10Speaker 1: because I think that's very true, Like you came out
- 21:12Speaker 1: of it and you always I mean, I remember you
- 21:14Speaker 1: from Afar, like I remember you from being on that.
- 21:16Speaker 1: I gotta be honest. I didn't remember it was Jake
- 21:18Speaker 1: season though, but I remembered you being the runner up
- 21:20Speaker 1: and thinking, oh my god, what was he thinking? And
- 21:23Speaker 1: then you know, and then um, you know, seeing you
- 21:26Speaker 1: do things later on and always you know, and I
- 21:29Speaker 1: remember your relationship that you got in from Bachelor Pad
- 21:31Speaker 1: and I liked you guys together too, and so you know,
- 21:34Speaker 1: it was nice to see that you're happy and you
- 21:36Speaker 1: have your family and you're doing everything that you're doing.
- 21:38Speaker 1: So we love seeing that. Thank you so much. Um,
- 21:43Speaker 1: I'm actually curious because I've been listening to you guys
- 21:46Speaker 1: your O G podcast. It's been fun. It was funny here,
- 21:49Speaker 1: Tristo was um laughing when she called me. She kind
- 21:54Speaker 1: of shared last I think it was last week's podcast, right,
- 21:56Speaker 1: but she found money in a glove box when she
- 21:59Speaker 1: had called me, and I was like, she just kept laughing,
- 22:01Speaker 1: and I was like Trisa, I thought she had a
- 22:03Speaker 1: couple of mimosas. Um. But it's been so fun listening
- 22:07Speaker 1: to you guys, and I'm so curious, like, um, if
- 22:11Speaker 1: either of you have experienced kind of or if either
- 22:14Speaker 1: of you experienced back in the day, if you can
- 22:16Speaker 1: think of like that internal change, do you remember like
- 22:20Speaker 1: any bit of a wake up for you after all that.
- 22:23Speaker 1: I mean, Tristi got married and Ryan and everything, but
- 22:25Speaker 1: like if you think back was there like a big
- 22:28Speaker 1: shift in like I don't know. For me, it was
- 22:32Speaker 1: may change my life, oh one percent. I mean, had
- 22:36Speaker 1: I not applied to be on the show, I would
- 22:40Speaker 1: maybe still be working in Miami as a physical therapist.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Not that that was a bad thing, It's just my
- 22:47Speaker 1: life would be completely different. And I hate to even
- 22:52Speaker 1: think this, but my children would not exist, you know,
- 22:55Speaker 1: saying for Bob probably even though you didn't meet just
- 23:00Speaker 1: on you know, on the show, I feel like our
- 23:02Speaker 1: path has just led us to where we are today.
- 23:06Speaker 1: So one hundred percent the show was was the impetus
- 23:12Speaker 1: for the biggest change of my life in the best
- 23:13Speaker 1: way for me at least. Yeah, Well, I think we
- 23:16Speaker 1: talked about that last week, Tristan and I for some reason,
- 23:18Speaker 1: we're on this conversation about how, you know, it's become
- 23:21Speaker 1: kind of popular for people to come off the show
- 23:23Speaker 1: and sort of bash it a little bit, and we
- 23:25Speaker 1: were both you know, of a different perspective than that.
- 23:28Speaker 1: Like I, you know, obviously I was the victim of
- 23:31Speaker 1: a good at it from the Bachelor, at which then
- 23:33Speaker 1: made me the Bachelor, and um, you know, I was
- 23:36Speaker 1: thankful for that, and and and then after the Bachelor,
- 23:38Speaker 1: it was it was, you know, pretty great from that
- 23:40Speaker 1: point forward too. But you know, because my life has
- 23:43Speaker 1: turned out the way that it is, I'm very grateful
- 23:45Speaker 1: for my experiences on the show. And I think, um,
- 23:48Speaker 1: you know, it's like that movie Sliding Doors, right, if
- 23:51Speaker 1: if something was different, like the butterfly effect of something
- 23:54Speaker 1: is different, than everything is different, you know, And so
- 23:57Speaker 1: I'm thankful for the experiences from the show. Big time
- 24:00Speaker 1: cudn't getting to meet you ten. I mean, I feel
- 24:02Speaker 1: like we've had so many great moments, you being at
- 24:05Speaker 1: the house, Like Blakesley just adores you, and every time
- 24:07Speaker 1: we get to see you, and I mean you came
- 24:10Speaker 1: to I think Broncos Junior Denver Bronco Cheerleaders auditions one
- 24:14Speaker 1: year with your family, I feel like you were here.
- 24:17Speaker 1: So anyway, like the relationships, I've said this multiple times,
- 24:21Speaker 1: but the relationships are you know, the biggest, the biggest
- 24:25Speaker 1: buss things to me and on on that trip that
- 24:29Speaker 1: there was a time that you and Ryan even listened
- 24:31Speaker 1: to me just cry and go on and on over um,
- 24:35Speaker 1: just a relationship season. This was before I met Taylor,
- 24:38Speaker 1: and I was just so stuck and hopeful and confused.
- 24:43Speaker 1: But you guys are such good listeners and good friends
- 24:45Speaker 1: and I'm grateful for that too. I love you. Okay,
- 24:50Speaker 1: I think that you need to go right, you have
- 24:53Speaker 1: to go. I have no clue where I am to
- 24:55Speaker 1: be honest um, and which Also it's over. Thank you,
- 25:01Speaker 1: thank you for your time. Well, I wouldn't want to
- 25:04Speaker 1: miss an opportunity to get to connect with you guys
- 25:06Speaker 1: and just like say hi and support you guys. I'm
- 25:09Speaker 1: so excited. I love listening to your stories. I love
- 25:12Speaker 1: listening to stories because, um, you know, I actually I
- 25:16Speaker 1: don't remember completely. I remember your wedding, Trista, but I
- 25:20Speaker 1: don't remember all of the past history of of Bachelor.
- 25:24Speaker 1: But I kind of would watch it and stuff, and
- 25:27Speaker 1: then um, after I was on the Bachelor, then I
- 25:29Speaker 1: started really watching it. But it's just so fun to
- 25:32Speaker 1: relive and hear your guys memories because it brings up good,
- 25:35Speaker 1: positive stuff and weird stuff for me too. It's like
- 25:40Speaker 1: a counseling session, just letting you guys pass it out
- 25:43Speaker 1: for me. Yeah, there you go. Well, thank you for
- 25:49Speaker 1: having me, and hope to chat with you guys do
- 25:51Speaker 1: and hope to see you soon. Good to meet you too. Hugs. Okay, well,
- 26:00Speaker 1: okay bye. She is so sweet. Yes, if we did
- 26:08Speaker 1: superlatives for the Bachelor Nation, everybody in Bachelor Nation, I
- 26:14Speaker 1: feel like she would get the sweetest word. You know.
- 26:17Speaker 1: It seems very genuine, like from a very genuine Yes.
- 26:22Speaker 1: I just adore her. I can't remember exactly where we met.
- 26:25Speaker 1: I'm sure it was at a Bachelor function, but um
- 26:29Speaker 1: it actually I think it was Bachelor Pad, the first Bachelor,
- 26:33Speaker 1: So she was on the first Bachelor Pad and I
- 26:37Speaker 1: was there with Jason Mesnick and Ali Fatatowski and I
- 26:43Speaker 1: think Molly was there too. Um in Vegas, we shot.
- 26:48Speaker 1: We were like the judges for this day. Remember, I
- 26:54Speaker 1: think that was her season. Maybe it was Michelle Money.
- 26:57Speaker 1: So our next guest, it is Michelle Money. And she
- 27:01Speaker 1: was on Bachelor Pad two, and so I'll have to
- 27:04Speaker 1: ask her if that was where I met her or
- 27:07Speaker 1: I know I was a judge for something on Bachelor
- 27:10Speaker 1: Pad one. Um, so I bet that's where I met Tilly.
- 27:14Speaker 1: But we just hit it off. She's she's a kind
- 27:18Speaker 1: of an ex pro dancer and I was a you know,
- 27:21Speaker 1: an ex pro dancer. She was a Disney princess like I.
- 27:24Speaker 1: It just all I loved watching her on the Bachelor.
- 27:28Speaker 1: I just her personality is just she's just one of
- 27:31Speaker 1: those girls when you're a girl's girl, she's just one
- 27:34Speaker 1: of those people you want to be friends with. Um,
- 27:37Speaker 1: she's super sweet. I mean, I mean it's very easy
- 27:39Speaker 1: to see. And I remember, you know, they always say
- 27:41Speaker 1: like that, like being on television is a very transparent experience, right,
- 27:44Speaker 1: because it's hard to hide from who you portray yourself
- 27:47Speaker 1: to be on television because it's usually who you are.
- 27:50Speaker 1: And I remember watching that show, watching all the shows
- 27:53Speaker 1: at that time, and thinking, God, she's awesome, you know.
- 27:56Speaker 1: And then I remember meeting I think she Diddie Kipton
- 28:00Speaker 1: after after the show, and and I really liked him,
- 28:04Speaker 1: and I liked them together, you know, and then you know,
- 28:07Speaker 1: unfortunately that that didn't work out. Unfortunately, I should say,
- 28:11Speaker 1: because now she's definitely now she's in a great place
- 28:14Speaker 1: and she's got a beautiful baby in a wonderful marriage,
- 28:16Speaker 1: and it's like, you know, four years, that's awesome. I mean,
- 28:19Speaker 1: that's it's crazy to think that that's it's been for
- 28:21Speaker 1: I mean, I think of of myself and Kenyon. I'm like,
- 28:23Speaker 1: oh my gosh, we're on six years. Like that's crazy.
- 28:27Speaker 1: You know, I could take all my previous marriages added
- 28:30Speaker 1: together and they don't even equal that much. I couldn't myself.
- 28:39Speaker 1: We are, yeah, you know, but but yeah, she's super
- 28:42Speaker 1: cool me and I'm really excited for her and happy
- 28:44Speaker 1: for her and um and hopeful that she finds her
- 28:46Speaker 1: way to her doctor's appointment because clearly she was lost.
- 28:49Speaker 1: Yeah I know. Well, yeah, I agreed. I that's hard.
- 28:56Speaker 1: I mean, I rely on navigation for everything. I would
- 28:58Speaker 1: not be able to have a conversation. And if I
- 29:00Speaker 1: was trying to find somewhere where I have no way,
- 29:03Speaker 1: do you know, I'm so bad that I plug in
- 29:05Speaker 1: the grocery store and I already know where I'm going
- 29:07Speaker 1: to do. Not stop it right now, I know, but
- 29:11Speaker 1: I do it habitually from when I was in l
- 29:13Speaker 1: A for fifteen twenty years. Um then because you need
- 29:16Speaker 1: to know if there's traffic. Yeah, totally, I get. That
- 29:21Speaker 1: is the grocery store from you five minutes two. It's
- 29:28Speaker 1: so close direction I'm pretty you know, I'm an orienteering man,
- 29:38Speaker 1: but I can't find my way around. Okay, that is
- 29:41Speaker 1: kind of that is really funny. Caitlin Bristow on her
- 29:45Speaker 1: Off the Bind podcast. She does like kind of like confessions,
- 29:48Speaker 1: and I feel like that's kind of like a confession, Like, uh,
- 29:52Speaker 1: and it's embarrassing that I'm admitting this, but I do
- 29:55Speaker 1: navigation to my grocery store this three minutes. I am
- 29:57Speaker 1: directionally challenged. Yes I am. There's a no question, technologically challenged. Directionally.
- 30:03Speaker 1: I mean, I'm challenged in so many ways. Oh, don't
- 30:06Speaker 1: we know it? No, I'm just kidding. Oh, you died
- 30:11Speaker 1: a bullet here, I died a bullet. Thank you for
- 30:16Speaker 1: saying that's right, for many reasons, for many reasons. Thank got.
- 30:35Speaker 1: Let's get back to the show. So the Bachelor had
- 30:37Speaker 1: just wrapped filming, which is really exciting. I followed Gabby
- 30:41Speaker 1: Um and Rachel both on social media, but I saw
- 30:44Speaker 1: a story pop up for her and I was like, Oh,
- 30:47Speaker 1: she must be done with filming. But I don't I
- 30:49Speaker 1: didn't know if you know her stories, like, you know
- 30:53Speaker 1: they get pushed if you if you're on Instagram, you
- 30:55Speaker 1: know that you if you follow as many people as
- 30:58Speaker 1: I do, I feel like only if few of them
- 31:00Speaker 1: show up like regularly, and then all the rest of
- 31:03Speaker 1: them are pushed back. So I was like, I don't
- 31:05Speaker 1: know if the rest of her stories had been pushed
- 31:07Speaker 1: back or not, but I just saw her story pop up.
- 31:11Speaker 1: So she's done filming, and I want to know, are you,
- 31:15Speaker 1: first of all, are you going to watch this season?
- 31:17Speaker 1: Since especially if we're doing this, are you gonna watch it? Yeah?
- 31:20Speaker 1: I think I have to write. I mean, it was
- 31:21Speaker 1: kind of like when when we were doing the Man
- 31:23Speaker 1: panel on the Today Show. Every every month I had
- 31:26Speaker 1: to watch the show because I knew they're going to
- 31:27Speaker 1: ask me about it. And so it's gonna it's gonna
- 31:30Speaker 1: become destination viewing for me again for sure. Destination viewing, yea,
- 31:34Speaker 1: it will be. I will be setting my tvo or
- 31:37Speaker 1: whatever you call color screen not black and white anymore.
- 31:43Speaker 1: But yeah, and I think it's really interesting, you know.
- 31:45Speaker 1: I mean, this was a plot twist of a year,
- 31:47Speaker 1: which I'm sure you know more about it than I do,
- 31:49Speaker 1: but having two bachelorettes and instead of one of them
- 31:53Speaker 1: being or one of them kind of being sent home
- 31:56Speaker 1: the first night like what happened way back in the
- 31:57Speaker 1: day with Fisherman Byron Velvic and the other guy, and
- 32:02Speaker 1: this is a little different twists where both ladies are
- 32:05Speaker 1: there for the duration dating the same group of guys,
- 32:10Speaker 1: which I don't know how that works, I mean, really
- 32:13Speaker 1: you do. But like so if I mean, who how
- 32:16Speaker 1: do people get sent home? And you know, obviously I
- 32:19Speaker 1: think knowing the devious minds at work behind the scenes,
- 32:23Speaker 1: I'm sure they are hoping that both women, would you know,
- 32:26Speaker 1: fall for the same guy, you know, um, which I mean,
- 32:30Speaker 1: I don't know these ladies at all, so I think
- 32:32Speaker 1: they from what I have read about them, both pretty
- 32:35Speaker 1: strong personalities and you know, I think, definitely outspoken and
- 32:40Speaker 1: not afraid to say how they feel about some things,
- 32:42Speaker 1: and and also good friends and also really good friends
- 32:46Speaker 1: going into it. So you know, girl code, you know,
- 32:49Speaker 1: you don't normally go after the same guys. They're being
- 32:52Speaker 1: put into a position that obviously they've agreed to um
- 32:55Speaker 1: where they are going to be fighting for the same guys.
- 32:58Speaker 1: So I agree with you. I think it's going to
- 33:00Speaker 1: be really interesting because I have no clue how it's
- 33:03Speaker 1: going to work. How they're going to send people home,
- 33:05Speaker 1: Like do they have a box each of them and
- 33:07Speaker 1: they put names into who they want to send home,
- 33:10Speaker 1: and then if they agree on someone, then someone goes
- 33:13Speaker 1: goes home. I don't know. That's really it will be
- 33:15Speaker 1: really interesting to see this all unfold because because it
- 33:20Speaker 1: is completely different from the format of any season we've
- 33:24Speaker 1: ever had before. Whether it's I wonder if they have
- 33:26Speaker 1: like a joint rose ceremony where they each have their
- 33:29Speaker 1: own little palette of roses and you know to Yeah,
- 33:34Speaker 1: some guys will have to h you know, to boutineers
- 33:37Speaker 1: or whatever those things. Some will only have one. I
- 33:40Speaker 1: don't know. It would be really interesting to see what happens, right,
- 33:43Speaker 1: or if they kind of like on Bachelor in Paradise,
- 33:46Speaker 1: how you have to be um a couple in order
- 33:50Speaker 1: to continue on. And so maybe it's like they'll make
- 33:56Speaker 1: the guys choose who they want to stay with. I mean,
- 33:59Speaker 1: that would be really awkward because what if a like
- 34:02Speaker 1: twenty guys choose one of them and who knows. I'm
- 34:05Speaker 1: we're just obviously guessing here as to what the format
- 34:09Speaker 1: will look like. Um So anyway, I'm I'm really interested
- 34:12Speaker 1: to see. I wonder if there's been any Although I
- 34:15Speaker 1: hate this, I hate it when there are spoilers about
- 34:20Speaker 1: the show, but I wonder if there has been any
- 34:23Speaker 1: uh spoilers out there about the format of it that
- 34:26Speaker 1: I'd be okay with spoiling. My guess would be that
- 34:28Speaker 1: they're gonna start leaking that, you know. Yeah, from a
- 34:32Speaker 1: corporate perspective, I would guess, you know, to kind of
- 34:34Speaker 1: start baiting the hook for all of us to want
- 34:36Speaker 1: to watch, because I'm sure there are some twists and
- 34:38Speaker 1: turns in there that are going to be very different
- 34:40Speaker 1: and are going to be you know, very uh drama driven,
- 34:46Speaker 1: you know, and so you know, it'll be interesting to say,
- 34:49Speaker 1: but yeah, there's always gonna be drama. There's always gonna
- 34:52Speaker 1: be drama no matter what, and I think they will
- 34:55Speaker 1: make sure that that is included however they can. But
- 34:58Speaker 1: I will say that, um, it's it's always bothered me
- 35:04Speaker 1: when people are like, I get the bad editor or whatever.
- 35:09Speaker 1: I get it. I mean the next get our next
- 35:11Speaker 1: guest definitely got a bad edit. Knowing her after she
- 35:16Speaker 1: was on the show, she is and it an awesome
- 35:21Speaker 1: human being and she did get a bad edit. I
- 35:25Speaker 1: feel like she was totally pinned down as the villain.
- 35:30Speaker 1: And um, but I feel like, yeah, although I do,
- 35:37Speaker 1: I do kind of at the core of my belief
- 35:40Speaker 1: about the show. You can't say they can't make you.
- 35:46Speaker 1: I mean, they can try to make you, but they
- 35:48Speaker 1: can't put words in your mouth. So I feel like
- 35:53Speaker 1: if you're if you go on the show and you're
- 35:55Speaker 1: sarcastic or whatever, they can use that against you and
- 35:59Speaker 1: use that to give you a bad edit or whatever. Um. Yeah,
- 36:04Speaker 1: I'm looking forward to talking to Michelle. I absolutely love her.
- 36:10Speaker 1: We've met I have you met her before? Oh many times? Yeah.
- 36:13Speaker 1: I love Michelle Money, yes right, um, yes, she is
- 36:19Speaker 1: kind of life of the party. Um, just lays it
- 36:22Speaker 1: all on the table, so honest and real and UM,
- 36:28Speaker 1: I look up to her as a mom. I feel
- 36:31Speaker 1: like her relationship that she has with Brielle is really inspiring.
- 36:36Speaker 1: She was a young mom and they have they have
- 36:38Speaker 1: essentially grown up together. I feel like, so anyway, UM
- 36:42Speaker 1: and she I believe just got engaged last year, UM
- 36:46Speaker 1: to a professional golfer, Mike. Is it weird or it's weird? Right?
- 36:57Speaker 1: And every season times, every time the UM that tournament
- 37:02Speaker 1: comes on. Is it called the tournament? Right? Sure? Yeah,
- 37:06Speaker 1: the Master's tournament? Yeah yeah? Can you tell him not
- 37:10Speaker 1: a golfer? Um? But every time it comes on, I
- 37:13Speaker 1: love watching her stories of them going, you know, because
- 37:17Speaker 1: he is like royalty when it comes to I just
- 37:20Speaker 1: had an experience this morning where I was talking to
- 37:22Speaker 1: a friend and you just reminded me of it where
- 37:24Speaker 1: my friend was using an analogy, right, and he's like,
- 37:27Speaker 1: I'm not a big baseball guy that you know. I'm
- 37:29Speaker 1: watching these games and man, when is in the fourth quarter?
- 37:32Speaker 1: And I'm like, and I had to interrupt. I'm like, uh, listen,
- 37:36Speaker 1: I get your analogy, and I appreciate where you're going
- 37:38Speaker 1: with this whole thing. And I know you're saying when
- 37:39Speaker 1: the chips are down, but baseball has endings and football
- 37:44Speaker 1: has quarters. And he's like, Okay, good call. I'm like, no,
- 37:46Speaker 1: I don't want you to also say, you know, if
- 37:48Speaker 1: you can step up to the plate and you hit
- 37:49Speaker 1: something into the goal. I'm because then we're not going
- 37:51Speaker 1: to talk anymore. But it's not gonna be able to speak.
- 37:53Speaker 1: So let's get her analogies together. Let's come at this direct. H. Well,
- 38:08Speaker 1: I'm excited. I'm excited to welcome our next guest to
- 38:11Speaker 1: the show, someone who we both have a ton of
- 38:14Speaker 1: affection for, um, someone who I feel always comes out
- 38:18Speaker 1: smelling like a rose. Proverbially, when did you guys start
- 38:26Speaker 1: this fun adventure? Oh gosh, how how long has it
- 38:29Speaker 1: been the beginning of six weeks? Six? Seven weeks, eight weeks,
- 38:32Speaker 1: so we don't even know. It's been a while. Guys.
- 38:34Speaker 1: Thanks for thinking of me, of course. And your guys
- 38:38Speaker 1: lives are good and you're happy and everything's good for you, guys,
- 38:42Speaker 1: everything we want to talk about. You were talking about us, Okay,
- 38:49Speaker 1: show us the ring? Yes, congratulations. Well, so it's so funny.
- 38:55Speaker 1: So yeah, I mean, Mike and I don't want to
- 38:58Speaker 1: get married. But I didn't see so I did not
- 39:02Speaker 1: think it such a funny. It's such a funny thing
- 39:05Speaker 1: because we and I don't know if it's like because
- 39:08Speaker 1: we've both been married before and we yeah, and then
- 39:11Speaker 1: been divorced, right, and then it was like, you know,
- 39:14Speaker 1: if it's not broke, don't fix it. Like things are
- 39:17Speaker 1: going so well, and um, you know, we don't want
- 39:20Speaker 1: more kids together, so we're kind of like maybe we
- 39:22Speaker 1: should just like not do the marriage things. So so
- 39:25Speaker 1: far it's been fantastic where he's like my life partner,
- 39:28Speaker 1: my forever person, and maybe one day, like it's been
- 39:31Speaker 1: six years now, so maybe amazing. I don't know, maybe
- 39:35Speaker 1: just like five years. I know, I know Bob has
- 39:38Speaker 1: been married. You've been married for six years, right, you
- 39:40Speaker 1: just said that I've been married six years this November.
- 39:43Speaker 1: So yeah. But at the same time, Michelle, Wow, Okay,
- 39:47Speaker 1: So what I want to know is how is Brie.
- 39:50Speaker 1: I just I was telling Bob. I was just telling
- 39:52Speaker 1: Bob how much I look up to you and your
- 39:55Speaker 1: relationship with Brille as a mom. I just feel like
- 39:59Speaker 1: you guys are so stinking close and you're just so
- 40:03Speaker 1: real and I just love listening to your stories. And
- 40:07Speaker 1: she suffered a pretty devastating accident, um, and so I
- 40:12Speaker 1: wanted to see, first of all, how she's doing and
- 40:14Speaker 1: how you guys are. You know what, she is such
- 40:18Speaker 1: a fighter, she is doing awesome I mean she's so lucky.
- 40:23Speaker 1: First of all, she's lucky to even be alive. But
- 40:25Speaker 1: on top of that, um, you know, she this this
- 40:29Speaker 1: brain injury could have was really close to being really devastating.
- 40:34Speaker 1: So she's you know, brain injuries are so tricky because
- 40:37Speaker 1: there's like it kind of impacts everyone differently. And the
- 40:41Speaker 1: biggest struggle Brielle has had has been like memory recall
- 40:46Speaker 1: and then um, like yeah, not being able to like
- 40:51Speaker 1: put words together sometimes, like she kind of stutter and
- 40:55Speaker 1: she in her head the words there, but it's not
- 40:57Speaker 1: coming out. But you know, she has been really good
- 41:02Speaker 1: about working through some of those cognitive issues with um.
- 41:07Speaker 1: We have this fantastic place called Cognitive Effects out here
- 41:10Speaker 1: in Utah and they have her do like brain games
- 41:12Speaker 1: and like little things to just help get the wiring
- 41:16Speaker 1: going again that have made a big difference, and she's
- 41:20Speaker 1: been really diligent at doing it. So she's freaking amazing
- 41:24Speaker 1: And you're so sweet to ask. She's so lucky. And yeah, money,
- 41:30Speaker 1: So your name came up so much after you started
- 41:33Speaker 1: posting that. You know, Canyon loves you and so we
- 41:37Speaker 1: are sons girls so much. Oh yeah, she loves the money,
- 41:40Speaker 1: So kiss I will, and she, you know, she would
- 41:44Speaker 1: literally grab my son. My son was starting to learn
- 41:47Speaker 1: how to ride a scooter and she grabbed him, and
- 41:49Speaker 1: I'd be like, I'd be like, Oh, he's fine, he's fine.
- 41:51Speaker 1: She's absolutely not, absolutely not. Remember what happened with Michelle
- 41:54Speaker 1: and with her daughter. We've got to get the helmet
- 41:56Speaker 1: on him, you know. And she was so diligent about it,
- 41:58Speaker 1: and it really was of those things that now we
- 42:00Speaker 1: both are. But in the beginning, I'm like, Oh, he's fine,
- 42:03Speaker 1: you know. No, he's not. He's not. This could happen
- 42:05Speaker 1: in a second, you know. And I've started done the
- 42:08Speaker 1: same thing with my kids because we have a slanted
- 42:11Speaker 1: hill in our neighborhood and my kids would be like, oh,
- 42:14Speaker 1: I'm going to go on the skateboard, and literally I
- 42:17Speaker 1: have said no. My friend Michelle, her daughter had a
- 42:21Speaker 1: devastating accident. You are wearing your helmet at all times. Like,
- 42:25Speaker 1: I think that you have done so much good in
- 42:27Speaker 1: sharing your story, her story, and I know it was
- 42:31Speaker 1: difficult to share, I'm sure, but thank you for for
- 42:34Speaker 1: doing that because I think you have probably saved so
- 42:37Speaker 1: many people. Tell you how many people have you know
- 42:41Speaker 1: said the exact same things you guys have. And that
- 42:43Speaker 1: is so incredible to know that, like something so devastating
- 42:47Speaker 1: could be so impactful for so many people. So there
- 42:50Speaker 1: is so much good that has come out of it.
- 42:52Speaker 1: And that's the thing that's with helmets in particular, especially
- 42:55Speaker 1: with teenagers. Yeah, they just don't want to wear the helmet.
- 42:58Speaker 1: It's not no, it's not know And so we have
- 43:02Speaker 1: to as parents, like really really um be strict about
- 43:06Speaker 1: that stuff because you never think it's gonna happen to you.
- 43:09Speaker 1: You never think your kid's going to be the kid
- 43:12Speaker 1: that you know gets in an accident. So unless you
- 43:15Speaker 1: do like me, like I I feel like even now,
- 43:20Speaker 1: especially when they were little, I just thought everything was
- 43:23Speaker 1: going to happen to them because I was a physical therapist.
- 43:26Speaker 1: I saw all of these accidents and all these bad
- 43:28Speaker 1: things happened, So I was always worried. But now it's
- 43:32Speaker 1: become as you said, teenagers don't want to wear them
- 43:35Speaker 1: because they're not cool. It's become harder to kind of
- 43:39Speaker 1: get them to do it. Because when they were smaller,
- 43:42Speaker 1: I could just say you're putting your helmet or put
- 43:44Speaker 1: it on them, you know, no questions, as you should yes, yeah,
- 43:50Speaker 1: so okay, So, um, let's talk about you were on
- 43:53Speaker 1: Bachelor Pad, you were on Bachelor Paradise, you were on
- 43:56Speaker 1: Bachelor Bachelor. Which was your favorite? Well, which one was
- 44:00Speaker 1: your favorite? Was Bachelor Pad for short? Really? Why? Super fun?
- 44:07Speaker 1: It was so much fun. It was just you know,
- 44:12Speaker 1: way less stressful and a lot more um you know,
- 44:16Speaker 1: kind of game oriented. So it made the experience a
- 44:19Speaker 1: lot more like lighthearted a little bit. But yeah, and
- 44:22Speaker 1: I got to meet Graham and these incredible friends who
- 44:25Speaker 1: have changed my life, and um, yeah, Bachelor Pad is
- 44:30Speaker 1: the best, the most fun. Yeah, I think they should
- 44:34Speaker 1: bring it meaningful friends like I I made, really good,
- 44:37Speaker 1: like real friendships. Yeah, yeah, I could see that. I
- 44:42Speaker 1: had told Tristan that they called me about Bachelor Pad one,
- 44:46Speaker 1: and I thought it was to host it. Graham, you know,
- 44:48Speaker 1: our our mutual friend of course is Graham bun and
- 44:51Speaker 1: as I met Michelle in the first place, but Graham
- 44:53Speaker 1: and I, uh, you know, and I would always tell
- 44:54Speaker 1: Graham the story. I'm like, yeah, I thought they wanted
- 44:56Speaker 1: me to host it. So I'm like, well, let me
- 44:57Speaker 1: call Harrison and make sure he's okay, And you know,
- 45:00Speaker 1: Harrison's like they want to and I'm like, oh no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 45:06Speaker 1: Like so I so, Michelle, before you came on, I
- 45:13Speaker 1: was talking about how I thought we first met. Did
- 45:16Speaker 1: we meet when I came on Bachelor Pad and did
- 45:19Speaker 1: the judging in Vegas? Is that where we met? That
- 45:22Speaker 1: was for sure the first time I met you? Yeah? Yeah, Love?
- 45:26Speaker 1: How did she judge? Michelle? Do you remember her score
- 45:29Speaker 1: for you on? I'm pretty sure she got a really
- 45:31Speaker 1: high score. It was the climbing. Did you climb up
- 45:34Speaker 1: the wall in Vegas or something? The Blue Man Group
- 45:37Speaker 1: or this sked a wild thing. You're like strapped up
- 45:42Speaker 1: in this thing and you're doing all these moves around
- 45:44Speaker 1: this wall. And all I remember is that I got
- 45:48Speaker 1: really bad motion. Take this like I have, and I
- 45:50Speaker 1: get really really naxious. So I don't remember much of
- 45:54Speaker 1: that day other than I just wanted to vomb like
- 45:59Speaker 1: I think we did. We did pretty good on that.
- 46:01Speaker 1: Graham and I did a pretty good job. We didn't
- 46:04Speaker 1: a good team on this, I remember, Yeah, you guys
- 46:07Speaker 1: were a good team. Do you want to stay in
- 46:08Speaker 1: touch with him with Graham? Gosh, I haven't. I haven't
- 46:12Speaker 1: talked to Graham, and maybe like seven or eight months.
- 46:16Speaker 1: But we always kind of like check in with each
- 46:18Speaker 1: other and we'll d m each other on Instagram and
- 46:21Speaker 1: love it. Um. But it's been a while since I've
- 46:23Speaker 1: talked to good old Graham. He is just the best,
- 46:26Speaker 1: and he was just such a good um friend like time,
- 46:31Speaker 1: and he's a great sounding board, like he's a good listener,
- 46:34Speaker 1: you know, a great guy. I mean that I love
- 46:36Speaker 1: the death. Yeah, he's the best. But yeah, we were
- 46:41Speaker 1: talking about that earlier today and then so so you
- 46:43Speaker 1: you rank that one. Then would it be Bachelor in Paradise,
- 46:47Speaker 1: then Bachelor over to go Bachelor, the Bachelor Paradise, Yeah,
- 46:52Speaker 1: it would be Bachelor in Paradise and then the Bachelor.
- 46:57Speaker 1: I wonder why, Like, when you're just like one of
- 47:00Speaker 1: multiple women with one man, it's just a different you
- 47:03Speaker 1: guys know, it's just a different type of experience. But
- 47:07Speaker 1: with Bachelor in Paradise, you know again, it was like
- 47:10Speaker 1: really cool guys and girls all together and kind of
- 47:14Speaker 1: just less less stressed, um and more fun. But you know,
- 47:19Speaker 1: I was at a place in my life when I
- 47:21Speaker 1: went on Bachelor in Paradise where I was like really
- 47:24Speaker 1: trying to find like I really wanted to find my person,
- 47:28Speaker 1: and you know, Braille was getting older, and I was
- 47:30Speaker 1: really hesitant to do the show, but I was like,
- 47:33Speaker 1: you know, you never know, and so I kind of
- 47:36Speaker 1: went into it with maybe a little bit more like
- 47:40Speaker 1: almost feeling like it was my last hope, which is
- 47:43Speaker 1: still now that I look at it, but I kind
- 47:47Speaker 1: of went into it with a little bit more wanting
- 47:49Speaker 1: a little bit more out of it than I think
- 47:51Speaker 1: a lot of the other people did. Yeah. Yeah, And
- 47:56Speaker 1: then I met Cody, and Cody was Cody was wonderful
- 48:00Speaker 1: and so good to me and so sweet, and I
- 48:03Speaker 1: learned so much from him, and I'm you know, like
- 48:07Speaker 1: if you talk about just a good soul, you know,
- 48:10Speaker 1: Tony is just such a wonderful person. So I'm very
- 48:14Speaker 1: grateful that I that I met him, and you know,
- 48:18Speaker 1: I learned. I've learned so much through each process in
- 48:21Speaker 1: in such a different way, like what I learned from
- 48:23Speaker 1: The Bachelor versus what I learned. You know. It's just
- 48:26Speaker 1: so funny, how you know, as a viewer, they all
- 48:28Speaker 1: watch this edited version of what they think is going on,
- 48:33Speaker 1: but it's easy to forget that like as as like
- 48:36Speaker 1: real humans, like we're actually like going through these real
- 48:40Speaker 1: experiences that are molding us and changing us and helping us,
- 48:43Speaker 1: you know, like kind of like oh this and so
- 48:46Speaker 1: as I look back, gosh, the growth from each one
- 48:52Speaker 1: of those experiences are just like I would not take
- 48:55Speaker 1: one second of it back because it has really kind
- 48:58Speaker 1: of helped me evolved into kind of a little bit
- 49:01Speaker 1: more well rounded, a little bit more you know, compassionate.
- 49:05Speaker 1: And you know, when you when you're kind of put
- 49:08Speaker 1: into these situations with all these different personalities and all
- 49:11Speaker 1: these differ from all over the country and and you
- 49:15Speaker 1: have to kind of get along with everyone, you know. Yeah,
- 49:19Speaker 1: and yeah, so yeah it's been I mean, my I
- 49:22Speaker 1: have so much love and gratitude for my experience on
- 49:28Speaker 1: every one of those shows. Yeah, very great that we
- 49:31Speaker 1: have gratitude for you. Yea, how the show really feels
- 49:39Speaker 1: like it's changed a lot, you know, like you know,
- 49:41Speaker 1: we talked about like the ogs, like I mean, I
- 49:44Speaker 1: don't even watch the show anymore, but there was just
- 49:47Speaker 1: such a significant shift that happened that social media, Yes exactly,
- 49:54Speaker 1: that really kind of like changed that more like authentic
- 49:59Speaker 1: I think a little bit more like genuinely like trying
- 50:02Speaker 1: to find love and you know, which we've all kind
- 50:07Speaker 1: of seen play out, you know, how that has shifted
- 50:09Speaker 1: into something a lot different. And I look back and
- 50:12Speaker 1: I'm like, gosh, I'm so grateful that I went on
- 50:15Speaker 1: the show when I did, and you know, got those
- 50:19Speaker 1: experiences that I think are way more authentic and I'm meaningful,
- 50:25Speaker 1: I think, and and so I'm just very I'm grateful
- 50:30Speaker 1: for the timing of it all. That's awesome, and that
- 50:33Speaker 1: that really has been the consensus amongst the o g
- 50:35Speaker 1: s that we've had on the show too. It's it's
- 50:37Speaker 1: almost like now now everyone goes on with a little
- 50:39Speaker 1: bit different motivation. Perhaps I can't speak for them, but
- 50:42Speaker 1: you know I didn't. I wasn't during my season. I
- 50:45Speaker 1: wasn't selling tooth whitening kids. So you know, it's a different,
- 50:49Speaker 1: different experience. Let's just say that. Uh. But but I
- 50:52Speaker 1: will say this, I'm also really happy social media wasn't
- 50:55Speaker 1: around back then, because I would have gotten destroyed even
- 50:57Speaker 1: worse than I did, say Sam, Tim, Yeah, for sure
- 51:01Speaker 1: wouldn't have had the capacity to like pull myself out
- 51:03Speaker 1: of bad and like like it was right that that
- 51:06Speaker 1: is so interesting now is just how like was how
- 51:12Speaker 1: social media has really just kind of like exploited everyone
- 51:16Speaker 1: in the worst ways, and you're just kind of like,
- 51:20Speaker 1: oh my gosh, I could not have handled that. No, yeah, yeah, right,
- 51:26Speaker 1: especially because most people who go on the show are
- 51:28Speaker 1: in their twenties or early thirties, and you still I
- 51:32Speaker 1: feel like, are learning so much about yourself. And I
- 51:36Speaker 1: have to tell you. So I just read I someone
- 51:38Speaker 1: sent me this article one of my buddies and it
- 51:41Speaker 1: was really making fun of me, and I loved it.
- 51:43Speaker 1: But I was like, oh God, I gotta talk about this.
- 51:45Speaker 1: It basically said he was making fun of me. The
- 51:48Speaker 1: article really didn't know that, got it. I'm like, I
- 51:50Speaker 1: need to see this article. You know. The article was like,
- 51:53Speaker 1: you know, why why people have a problem with the
- 51:56Speaker 1: Bachelor franchise and body image and it said except for
- 52:00Speaker 1: season four is Bachelor Bob who was slightly overweight. I'm
- 52:03Speaker 1: like no, I'm like what. So I'm just sitting here
- 52:09Speaker 1: reading this article and my buddies like my buddies like,
- 52:12Speaker 1: you know, he's just making so much fun of me.
- 52:14Speaker 1: He's like, you know, who knew? Who knew that you would,
- 52:17Speaker 1: you know, be such a jumping board or a sony
- 52:20Speaker 1: board for you know, every I'm like, oh, my gosh,
- 52:23Speaker 1: you know. You know what, Bob, I don't think I've
- 52:24Speaker 1: told you this. And on my show, you you constantly,
- 52:28Speaker 1: well not constantly, but all the time would say, is
- 52:30Speaker 1: that a fat joke? Is that a fat jos in
- 52:32Speaker 1: Tuday's day? I think that Actually I said something to
- 52:35Speaker 1: Ryan maybe a couple of days ago, when he was like,
- 52:38Speaker 1: is that a fat joke? We still say that. My
- 52:43Speaker 1: favorite line of my own on Tris this season was
- 52:45Speaker 1: She's standing in San Diego at a Sea World and
- 52:51Speaker 1: she's got on the Charger's jersey and and that's it,
- 52:53Speaker 1: like you know type you know, and I remember it,
- 52:56Speaker 1: and they like pan up and she's in front of
- 52:58Speaker 1: the water and she's like, hey, boys, you know, I
- 53:00Speaker 1: want you all to come hang out with me at
- 53:02Speaker 1: sea World. And she's like, you know, Shamo will be here.
- 53:05Speaker 1: And this dates for like Jimmy and Billy and Tommy
- 53:08Speaker 1: and Ryan, you know. And I'm standing there and I'm like,
- 53:12Speaker 1: you know, I wasn't. I wasn't part of the team.
- 53:14Speaker 1: And I go, up, wait, she did say Shamou would
- 53:16Speaker 1: be there? Is that mean I'm invited? Stop it? My sister,
- 53:22Speaker 1: To this day, anytime I mentioned anything about Shammo. She's like, okay,
- 53:26Speaker 1: bachelor at nice work. I have to get it. I
- 53:28Speaker 1: have to get something real quick. I'll be right back.
- 53:31Speaker 1: It was so funny. Oh now I will tell you.
- 53:35Speaker 1: Lorenzo Borghese. Prince Lorenzo Borghisi was on last last week Goes.
- 53:40Speaker 1: He went to get something like Trista just did, and
- 53:42Speaker 1: brought back a letter that he had kept. Tria is
- 53:45Speaker 1: this is this like Prince Lazobo's sleep with it every night?

- 55:07Speaker 1: loved you know. Like I said, I've never gotten to
- 55:09Speaker 1: meet Tony before, but I got to know Money really well.
- 55:11Speaker 1: And one of the things I will say, you know,
- 55:13Speaker 1: like uh, Kanyan and I have been together for ten years,
- 55:17Speaker 1: and in that period, Money would make such an effort
- 55:21Speaker 1: to be a real friend to Kenyon and it was
- 55:23Speaker 1: very kind and very appreciated by me. We were I mean,
- 55:26Speaker 1: you know, we were living in California, We're living in Seattle.
- 55:28Speaker 1: We go back and forth to New York for things.
- 55:31Speaker 1: We would cross path as a lot and Money was
- 55:33Speaker 1: always one of those people that would really reach out.
- 55:36Speaker 1: And and it wasn't just about her friendship with me.
- 55:39Speaker 1: It was important for to be friends with with Jessica too,
- 55:41Speaker 1: and that always meant a lot to me. And so yeah,
- 55:44Speaker 1: she's she's very loved around our house, and you know,
- 55:46Speaker 1: it's so great to see her doing so well, and
- 55:48Speaker 1: so great to see bri all doing well. And you know,
- 55:50Speaker 1: I love I know, I know same same. I feel
- 55:52Speaker 1: like she is one of the down to earth people.
- 55:55Speaker 1: I feel like there are some people who come out
- 55:57Speaker 1: of this show and just I think that or whatever reason,
- 56:00Speaker 1: they are better than other people. And she just is
- 56:04Speaker 1: always like if I'll text her at you know, there
- 56:09Speaker 1: are some people who will remain nameless, who you know,
- 56:13Speaker 1: whether they're on a thread or individual that that I'll
- 56:17Speaker 1: send him a text or whatever. She is always like
- 56:21Speaker 1: like getting her on this show. I think I texted
- 56:23Speaker 1: her two days ago and she wrote me right back.
- 56:25Speaker 1: And you know, she's just always always there. It's such
- 56:30Speaker 1: a good friend and and I just I just adore
- 56:33Speaker 1: her so UM. Thanks to Tienley and Michelle for coming on.
- 56:37Speaker 1: If you guys are listening, we'd love you. And thanks
- 56:40Speaker 1: everybody for listening today. Um. I say it every week,
- 56:45Speaker 1: but if you want us to have anyone on in particular,
- 56:48Speaker 1: or want us to talk about anything, just go to
- 56:50Speaker 1: the almost famous i G page and DM them there
- 56:53Speaker 1: and we will we will listen away, hopefully we can.
- 56:56Speaker 1: I really would love to incorporate again more UM listeners questions. Yeah,
- 57:02Speaker 1: that was fun. I had a good time with that one. Yeah,
- 57:05Speaker 1: let us know what you need us to answer. If
- 57:06Speaker 1: you if you've got something you need to know, let
- 57:09Speaker 1: us know, and we can determine whether or not we
- 57:11Speaker 1: want to tell you. So yeah, yeah, we'll just decide
- 57:15Speaker 1: whether or not. Yeah, you just right here. Yeah, well
- 57:21Speaker 1: let's do a poll. Yes, let's do a poll. A
- 57:24Speaker 1: great idea, great idea. We'll do a pool on Instagram,
- 57:27Speaker 1: the I G, the O G poll on I G.
- 57:30Speaker 1: We don't know what it's going to be yet, but
- 57:32Speaker 1: are very intelligent producers will figure it out and they'll
- 57:34Speaker 1: do the poll. And that way it's actually interesting as
- 57:37Speaker 1: opposed to if I do the poll and it's like,
- 57:39Speaker 1: you know, paper plastic. So that's what we're going to
- 57:41Speaker 1: figure it out today. So yeah, a little more interesting
- 57:44Speaker 1: than paper a plastic. Okay, boxers are brace I'm not
- 57:47Speaker 1: answered that one again, been there, done that, okay, done okay, Bob,
- 57:54Speaker 1: Always a pleasure, Always a pleasure to trist to center one,
- 57:58Speaker 1: am I Savage? Of course it's foxor Reeves. Okay, bye, guys,
- 58:04Speaker 1: thanks for listening. Joe
