The Villisca Axe Murders
In 1912, eight people went to sleep inside a small house in Villisca, Iowa.
By morning, every one of them was dead.
Six were children. The murder weapon was left behind. Every mirror in the house had been covered. And despite a town full of suspects, a confession, two trials, and an investigation that lasted years—no one was ever convicted.
More than a century later, one question remains:
Who killed the Moore family and their two young houseguests?
This is the case of the Villisca Axe Murders.
