- 0:21Speaker 1: Hi, right, damn it, you can start if you want.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Go ahead, Hi, friends, welcome to episode six him so
- 0:33Speaker 2: glad you can join us.
- 0:35Speaker 3: What's up? What's up? Ladies? I guess we should probably
- 0:39Speaker 3: say her name. We never do this, but hey, I'm Aaron.
- 0:43Speaker 1: I'm Gina, I'm Jody, I'm Kristen.
- 0:48Speaker 3: And where can I do a podcast about the gold Girls.
- 0:51Speaker 3: You're fucking welcome.
- 0:52Speaker 2: Let's go an l Lunai. We're very stoked because episode
- 0:58Speaker 2: one just released, so we're like, it's real now.
- 1:01Speaker 4: Yeah, people know who we are. Very exciting.
- 1:05Speaker 1: I would like to start off this episode with the
- 1:09Speaker 1: reveal of my sock.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Please, yes, please it today.
- 1:14Speaker 4: The sock is just a black sock.
- 1:17Speaker 1: However, it says, well aren't you a little ray of
- 1:21Speaker 1: pitch black on it?
- 1:24Speaker 2: Ah? I love that, Okay, I kind of love that appropriate.
- 1:28Speaker 3: It's appropriate since we hate the producers of Love Island.
- 1:32Speaker 2: Yes, oh yes, they've had their heartbroken Island today.
- 1:37Speaker 4: Oh we'll recover.
- 1:40Speaker 3: We're already in fighting because they hate Joey Essex. But
- 1:44Speaker 3: we don't have to get into that right now. Yeah.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Remember there'll be another season half naked young people.
- 1:52Speaker 1: And like absolutely, they're already filmed it.
- 1:57Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, yeah, that's more frequently than the Bachelor and Bachelorette, I.
- 2:02Speaker 2: Feel, And aren't there like one hundred episodes each season?
- 2:06Speaker 3: Sixty one this time? I think we don't.
- 2:10Speaker 2: Even think brother goes that high. That's insane.
- 2:13Speaker 1: They record or they have an episode six every daek
- 2:18Speaker 1: six yeah, six days a week.
- 2:19Speaker 3: Wow, Well, now isn't it every day because they've got
- 2:21Speaker 3: after son and unseen bits because we get too wit
- 2:26Speaker 3: so I think it's unseen bit.
- 2:30Speaker 1: Oh like, well there isn't. Unfortunately, there isn't an unseen bitch.
- 2:37Speaker 5: We see them all.
- 2:39Speaker 3: Yeah. I think the reason I've spent just to defend
- 2:43Speaker 3: myself on air real quick, the reason I've spent so
- 2:45Speaker 3: much time defending Joey is that I think if I
- 2:48Speaker 3: was in the villa, I would stir as much shit
- 2:51Speaker 3: as possible because it's a game. Ultimately, it's a game
- 2:54Speaker 3: you want to win.
- 2:55Speaker 2: I'm not here to make friends.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Right, I'm here for yeah to fine love, and I
- 3:01Speaker 1: think I would treat it very much the same way,
- 3:03Speaker 1: where I'd be like.
- 3:03Speaker 3: Well, this new guy is kind of hotter. Also I
- 3:07Speaker 3: heard him. You know, I would play the game the
- 3:09Speaker 3: same way because you know I would want to do
- 3:13Speaker 3: well at the game in addition to you know, banging
- 3:16Speaker 3: some hot dudes.
- 3:17Speaker 1: For those of you who don't know who Joey Essex
- 3:20Speaker 1: is me, I want you to picture the situation.
- 3:25Speaker 3: No absent, I.
- 3:27Speaker 4: Guess from the Jersey Shore, but brit.
- 3:29Speaker 2: He's the one with the crazy hair.
- 3:31Speaker 3: No, no, he doesn't look at anything like that. This
- 3:34Speaker 3: person's actually attractive. The situation looks insane.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Nothing referring to looks. I'm referring more to the personality
- 3:44Speaker 1: and the douche baggery and the woman's all.
- 3:49Speaker 4: Right, you know, it's like a Joey essex e. Yeah,
- 3:53Speaker 4: that's that's how his.
- 3:54Speaker 2: Real name Joey.
- 3:55Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 3:56Speaker 2: It's like inviting with Gina san Diego.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Like, where in the world is.
- 4:08Speaker 3: Jesse uh whatever her last name is now? Of the
- 4:13Speaker 3: guys in that group, is that her name now?
- 4:16Speaker 2: Oh, you mean the slightly less horny widow Jesse Schaeffer
- 4:21Speaker 2: is now. I think it's pronounced eb It's.
- 4:24Speaker 3: A b y, which I always read as eBay Jesse
- 4:29Speaker 3: eBay guys from that that group. And also we can't
- 4:34Speaker 3: call her a widow, guys, because we have a widow
- 4:36Speaker 3: amongst us.
- 4:38Speaker 2: R I p Jeremy, Oh my god, my heart skipped
- 4:41Speaker 2: a beat, and then I was like, oh yeah right.
- 4:43Speaker 4: Oh yeah, for God Christ, what happened.
- 4:48Speaker 3: We also, Kristina and I, along with her dearly deceased,
- 4:52Speaker 3: dearly departed husband Jeremy and I released our podcast.
- 4:55Speaker 4: Too this past week.
- 4:57Speaker 1: So it's been a big week for this group, which
- 4:59Speaker 1: is why, Well, it was really upsetting that itv shit
- 5:03Speaker 1: all over us this morning. Yeah, but we should probably
- 5:06Speaker 1: talk about a show that doesn't shit all over you
- 5:08Speaker 1: and always gives you love and humor.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Great segue what I love it, God, girn and smooth.
- 5:17Speaker 2: How are you girls liking the season so far?
- 5:21Speaker 5: It is so hard not to watch ahead and watch
- 5:24Speaker 5: our episodes because I'm hooked and I have to wait
- 5:27Speaker 5: for you, ladies.
- 5:29Speaker 1: I love having like news or something on in the
- 5:32Speaker 1: background while I'm getting ready in the mornings. And I mean,
- 5:36Speaker 1: for the most part, it was Love Island, and now
- 5:40Speaker 1: that Love Island has ended, it's going to really be
- 5:44Speaker 1: difficult to not throw on a Golden Girls episode.
- 5:47Speaker 2: I watched some Olympics, which.
- 5:49Speaker 4: Will also be over very soon.
- 5:53Speaker 3: I watched this episode that we're going to see today
- 5:56Speaker 3: three times.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Because holy moly, wow.
- 5:59Speaker 3: Wow it Well, No, while I was doing the quiz,
- 6:02Speaker 3: things kept happening at my home, and then I kept
- 6:04Speaker 3: starting the episode over the first time I was basically
- 6:09Speaker 3: down to like the second tilast commercial break. So like
- 6:11Speaker 3: two and a half, two and three quarters times I
- 6:14Speaker 3: watched this episode. Its day so good.
- 6:16Speaker 5: So you're going to do an audio re enactment for.
- 6:18Speaker 2: Us Golden Girls the radio plane.
- 6:24Speaker 1: Instead of this or in addition too okay, cool, cool, cool.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Sophia Andrews.
- 6:32Speaker 3: Picture it hard, hard pass on that, But I appreciate
- 6:36Speaker 3: the offer. I respect it, and I'm just gonna get
- 6:39Speaker 3: my little notebook out.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Did you just pull out a notebook with a picture
- 6:42Speaker 2: of your dog on it?
- 6:44Speaker 4: Oh?
- 6:44Speaker 3: No, I've had this. This was a composition book someone
- 6:47Speaker 3: got me because they said that looks like Abby.
- 6:49Speaker 4: Yeah, it does look like Abby.
- 6:50Speaker 2: When she was no, she would have got that made
- 6:55Speaker 2: fair point.
- 6:57Speaker 3: My mother and father got a puzzle ma for me
- 7:00Speaker 3: one time at oh god, it was like Walmart or
- 7:04Speaker 3: Costco or somewhere like that, from a picture of Abby,
- 7:08Speaker 3: and it's almost impossible to put it together because the
- 7:11Speaker 3: quality of whatever store that was is puzzle was so
- 7:16Speaker 3: shit that it's just like she was sitting on like
- 7:20Speaker 3: my mom's puzzle table with the puzzle, because she used
- 7:23Speaker 3: to like to sit there while we worked on the puzzle.
- 7:25Speaker 3: It's like a special felted tabletop, and she would sit there.
- 7:29Speaker 3: And so they took a picture and the puzzle is
- 7:32Speaker 3: hard to tell what piece is, what pee like the
- 7:34Speaker 3: colors are. The picture on the box is great, but
- 7:37Speaker 3: the actual puzzle is actually impossible to put together. And
- 7:40Speaker 3: yet I didn't throw it away. It is in my
- 7:42Speaker 3: dining room with my games and puzzles.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Bravo, Aaron, Bravo, Well done.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Did you want to give everyone an update on our
- 7:50Speaker 2: favorite producer?
- 7:51Speaker 4: Oh yes, yeah.
- 7:52Speaker 3: So since we all last met, Abby had a health crisis.
- 7:56Speaker 3: She was peeing blood, very exciting. She I saw doctor
- 8:01Speaker 3: who was much like doctors that we're going to actually
- 8:04Speaker 3: see on the show later where Dorothy goes in and
- 8:10Speaker 3: sees some doctors and they don't believe her. Not today's
- 8:13Speaker 3: not today's episode.
- 8:15Speaker 1: I was gonna wait, doctors not believing women.
- 8:20Speaker 3: What anyway? She So we went in and they're like, oh, yeah,
- 8:26Speaker 3: she's kidding you. Soon, just get this food and put
- 8:28Speaker 3: her on food. Long story short, too late, she had
- 8:30Speaker 3: her teeth all pulled out except one. She is one premolar.
- 8:34Speaker 3: She's pretty mad about it. We've basically been doing the
- 8:37Speaker 3: beat It dance, like the knife fight segment around the house,
- 8:41Speaker 3: just like awkwardly avoiding each other in like a certain radius.
- 8:44Speaker 4: But she's doing quite well.
- 8:45Speaker 3: She's eating. The other day, two thirds of the rest
- 8:49Speaker 3: of you watched her try to suckle a cookie for
- 8:51Speaker 3: a few minutes when we were watching Love Island, because
- 8:55Speaker 3: she still wants treats and things, but then is reminded
- 8:58Speaker 3: she has no teeth. Plus her tongue was stuck to
- 9:01Speaker 3: the carpet one night because she fell asleep and the
- 9:04Speaker 3: like fibers like glued themselves to her little dry tongue.
- 9:07Speaker 1: Oh so, but otherwise she's fine.
- 9:11Speaker 3: She's in good spirits. We're still trying to sort out.
- 9:15Speaker 3: She has some kidney stone issues and her spine is
- 9:17Speaker 3: collapsed in one place, but.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Holy shit, is that why she has the issue with
- 9:22Speaker 1: her back leg or her front.
- 9:24Speaker 3: Paul all the things part of it. So she's on
- 9:27Speaker 3: pain medicine now as needed for like the rest of
- 9:30Speaker 3: her life, and she might not walk some days, she
- 9:32Speaker 3: might walk, I don't know, But we're just gonna keep
- 9:35Speaker 3: She'd already been on what I like to call the
- 9:36Speaker 3: make a wish plan, because she's the oldest dog my
- 9:40Speaker 3: family's ever had that's still alive and didn't have to
- 9:43Speaker 3: be euthanized. Our previous record was like ten I think
- 9:47Speaker 3: ten or eleven. She's on borrowed time as far as
- 9:49Speaker 3: I see it, So every day is like, what do
- 9:52Speaker 3: you want, I'll buy it for you and do it like,
- 9:54Speaker 3: let's let's make your day great. So she's doing good,
- 9:58Speaker 3: She's doing pretty good.
- 9:59Speaker 2: Oh, Jonah is doing She gives me leaving horn like
- 10:03Speaker 2: poking her eye.
- 10:04Speaker 4: I was thinking, oh sorry, I was.
- 10:06Speaker 2: Where my brain is in my cheek.
- 10:09Speaker 4: No, well, it was something to do with my hands.
- 10:12Speaker 1: Sorry, no, I I wanted to make sure that the
- 10:14Speaker 1: wind wasn't or my mic wasn't picking up on the wind,
- 10:18Speaker 1: so I moved it from one side of my little
- 10:21Speaker 1: table to the other in hopes that it would not
- 10:23Speaker 1: make a whole bunch of noise and trying to be
- 10:26Speaker 1: be professional, poking.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Me calling you out.
- 10:29Speaker 3: Sorry, I'm playing a fun game called jowls. No jowls,
- 10:33Speaker 3: jowls double chin not double chin?
- 10:37Speaker 4: Oh yeah, or what is that?
- 10:39Speaker 1: Cameron Diaz say, she goes twenty one twenty seven.
- 10:44Speaker 4: Yeah, oh god, that is.
- 10:48Speaker 2: Like, what's this for the listener? Were we were perking
- 10:51Speaker 2: our boobs up?
- 10:52Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 10:53Speaker 2: Well, Abby feel better. Maybe she'll be one of those
- 10:57Speaker 2: cute dogs that has wheels on the back.
- 10:59Speaker 3: Of older I'd build a Lego one since I have
- 11:02Speaker 3: so many Legos. That's here, I was like, because she
- 11:04Speaker 3: obviously can talk back to me. Guys, for those of
- 11:06Speaker 3: you who don't know, she's magical and obviously understands English.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Obviously well, she produces this entire show, so magician hard work.
- 11:16Speaker 3: She was in meetings allays, came back from her medical
- 11:19Speaker 3: and was immediately in meetings.
- 11:21Speaker 2: Negotiating our contracts.
- 11:23Speaker 5: Yeah, we wouldn't make it without her.
- 11:25Speaker 6: So yeah, yeah, we just wrote that song for you.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Aaron is looking at a stunned you know.
- 11:42Speaker 3: Other news. By the way, I just want to say
- 11:44Speaker 3: I did recently also cancel my trip to California, which
- 11:51Speaker 3: is fine. I will be there later in September October,
- 11:56Speaker 3: but that's because my co worker is in the hospital definitely,
- 12:01Speaker 3: because they don't know whether or not she has.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Indefinitely that's terrible.
- 12:06Speaker 3: Yeah, she's in isolation because she has like double pneumonia,
- 12:10Speaker 3: a lung infection.
- 12:12Speaker 4: Oh a crap.
- 12:13Speaker 3: She picked up some virus while she was in Mexico,
- 12:16Speaker 3: and they haven't ruled tuberculo becus tuberculosis out only because
- 12:20Speaker 3: there's so many things going on it's hard for them
- 12:23Speaker 3: to read all the tests. So I just I wanted
- 12:27Speaker 3: the world to know what an amazing martyr I am
- 12:29Speaker 3: that I was willing to postpone my trip.
- 12:33Speaker 5: To feel better.
- 12:34Speaker 2: Coworker.
- 12:35Speaker 3: No, I seriously, I'm super worried about her, and she's
- 12:39Speaker 3: the good people I work with. And also, maybe let's
- 12:41Speaker 3: not go to Mexico for a little bit, because she
- 12:43Speaker 3: didn't do anything weird. She just ate food and drank
- 12:46Speaker 3: bottled water.
- 12:47Speaker 4: So what part of Mexico?
- 12:49Speaker 3: Okay, that's a detail I don't have.
- 12:52Speaker 5: We were not prepared for the question answer portion of
- 12:55Speaker 5: the story.
- 12:56Speaker 4: But I want to go to Mexico. So that's why
- 12:57Speaker 4: I'm making Gloria.
- 13:00Speaker 3: You're going to Europe so I will find out. I've
- 13:03Speaker 3: I've reached out to her and we've talked a little bit,
- 13:05Speaker 3: and she's obviously not doing okay because she.
- 13:09Speaker 4: Was you know, she's alone.
- 13:10Speaker 3: She has two kids and a boyfriend that lives with
- 13:14Speaker 3: her and like no one can see her.
- 13:17Speaker 2: Oh God, she's like.
- 13:19Speaker 3: Jesus because the tests are coming back inconclusive on like
- 13:23Speaker 3: the TV and stuff. I guess she has to like
- 13:25Speaker 3: stay in this like that's isolation ward she has all
- 13:29Speaker 3: the Yeah yeah, anyway, well get better, Amber.
- 13:34Speaker 5: I love you, Yes, get better.
- 13:37Speaker 2: I don't know you, but I love you.
- 13:38Speaker 3: On that happy note, did you want to tell us
- 13:43Speaker 3: about the episode?
- 13:44Speaker 2: Sure? Oh yeah, Today is episode six. It's called on
- 13:49Speaker 2: Golden Girls. The original air date was October twenty sixth,
- 13:53Speaker 2: nineteen eighty five. Writers Susan Harris, Liz Sage, Winifred Harvey,
- 14:00Speaker 2: director Jim Drake. Guest star Billy Jane aka Billy Jacobi,
- 14:07Speaker 2: who I just would like to note is from the
- 14:09Speaker 2: movie if you've ever seen it, Just One of the Guys,
- 14:11Speaker 2: where the girl poses as a guy undercover at another
- 14:15Speaker 2: school to be taken seriously in her writing.
- 14:18Speaker 1: Hm, he's also yes, wait, but who does he play
- 14:21Speaker 1: in that movie?
- 14:22Speaker 2: The brother of the of the lead girl who goes undercover.
- 14:26Speaker 2: I don't know the character's name, but he has the
- 14:29Speaker 2: best line in the movie because he's teaching her how
- 14:31Speaker 2: to scratch her balls and he goes all balls. Itch,
- 14:36Speaker 2: it's a fact. I've never forgotten that line.
- 14:38Speaker 3: He was also the little boy in Kujo.
- 14:40Speaker 2: Yes, he was in Kujo.
- 14:42Speaker 5: Oh I know?
- 14:43Speaker 1: Okay, now I am, yes, I am I Now. I
- 14:48Speaker 1: can't get that scene out of my mind where he's
- 14:51Speaker 1: showing her how to scratch her balls and he's like,
- 14:54Speaker 1: you gotta lean to.
- 14:55Speaker 4: The left because then you got a movie. Sometimes jamarn,
- 15:03Speaker 4: what's happening? But I'm sorry.
- 15:05Speaker 3: That movie is how we got other things like She's
- 15:08Speaker 3: the Man and yeah.
- 15:11Speaker 2: Yeah, but this movie did it well. I enjoyed that.
- 15:13Speaker 1: I think so, especially the Love the love cannibal fish
- 15:21Speaker 1: or the love fish that turn cannibalistic.
- 15:24Speaker 2: Would you ladies like to guess what this episode is about?
- 15:28Speaker 2: The title is not doesn't give it away.
- 15:31Speaker 5: No, it's not telling at all.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Girl.
- 15:34Speaker 2: Well, you know you have a young guest star. Maybe
- 15:37Speaker 2: that'll help you.
- 15:39Speaker 5: Somebody's son or nephew comes to visit the ladies.
- 15:44Speaker 2: Okay, hmm. It is.
- 15:49Speaker 1: A troubled youth from the community and they're gonna take
- 15:55Speaker 1: them in.
- 15:55Speaker 4: No, I don't know.
- 15:56Speaker 1: It's somebody who's fallen on hard times within the.
- 15:59Speaker 2: Can Okay, I love it. Aaron's watched it eighteen times,
- 16:04Speaker 2: so she knows.
- 16:05Speaker 3: I know another important question. I'd like to know who
- 16:09Speaker 3: you'd like to make me to make the villain for
- 16:13Speaker 3: this episode.
- 16:14Speaker 5: I want it to be Sophia this time, but.
- 16:18Speaker 4: I experience I let's do Sofia.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Okay, Sophia the villain, not like Aaron's face.
- 16:27Speaker 5: But we'll see. I think we made it last time.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Last time we made it Dorothy and it was super easy.
- 16:33Speaker 5: I know, but we don't know.
- 16:36Speaker 4: That's what makes it interesting because we have never seen this.
- 16:38Speaker 2: Let's make it Coco, all right, let's keep the memory
- 16:44Speaker 2: of Coco live.
- 16:45Speaker 4: I guess I love it.
- 16:47Speaker 2: What would Choco do in this episode dinner?
- 16:53Speaker 5: Yeah, he'd be putting away all.
- 16:58Speaker 1: On the table she takes out in the middle of
- 17:01Speaker 1: the night, and it's just like those poor women, I
- 17:10Speaker 1: can't eat a thing.
- 17:11Speaker 2: That's why they needed to go see you know who
- 17:16Speaker 2: ends up doing his rose because she's too nice.
- 17:19Speaker 3: They walk all over her. We're gonna watch the show.
- 17:26Speaker 2: Here, we go to watch the show.
- 17:29Speaker 4: We'll be right back right back to you.
- 17:36Speaker 1: Welcome back.
- 17:37Speaker 4: Oh hey, you're still here.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Oh you are.
- 17:42Speaker 2: One.
- 17:44Speaker 5: I like it.
- 17:45Speaker 1: It was many, many, many references to the movie just
- 17:50Speaker 1: one of the guys were made.
- 17:51Speaker 4: Sorry for those.
- 17:52Speaker 1: Who have not seen it, apparently that was a big
- 17:55Speaker 1: part of mine to Gina's childhood.
- 17:57Speaker 2: Go check it out.
- 17:58Speaker 5: It was on TV a lot.
- 18:00Speaker 4: I thought it a lot. Yeah, it was on like
- 18:02Speaker 4: TBS or WGN or one of those.
- 18:05Speaker 1: As we're coming back, I was trying to I'm mute
- 18:07Speaker 1: it for a second because I was trying to avoid
- 18:09Speaker 1: the tissue paper sound. But I do want to thank
- 18:12Speaker 1: our listener because he sent me for my birthday.
- 18:17Speaker 3: Which is now many months in the past, but he
- 18:21Speaker 3: sent me the homemark keepsake miniature Golden Girls ornaments set,
- 18:27Speaker 3: and so I really appreciate it. I've thanked him a
- 18:30Speaker 3: few times elsewhere as well, But so.
- 18:33Speaker 1: Good job.
- 18:36Speaker 3: He's probably like one of my like number one like
- 18:41Speaker 3: fans when it comes to shows and stuff. So roll yeah,
- 18:46Speaker 3: thank you for always supporting, you know, whatever new creative
- 18:50Speaker 3: endeavor I'm doing.
- 18:51Speaker 4: It was a good dude, Rol.
- 18:53Speaker 1: He was a good dude.
- 18:58Speaker 4: So I don't know where that came from.
- 19:00Speaker 2: All right, Jodi and Kristen, what did we think of
- 19:02Speaker 2: this episode on Golden Girl. I really enjoyed it.
- 19:07Speaker 4: I did too, And one thing I'm noticing so much.
- 19:12Speaker 4: And I know I said.
- 19:13Speaker 1: This in episode one that it feels like it doesn't
- 19:17Speaker 1: feel like we're just getting introduced to the characters, because
- 19:20Speaker 1: this show has been a part of our lives for
- 19:22Speaker 1: so long that it just it just feels like a
- 19:25Speaker 1: continuation of the story. But I really love knowing the
- 19:32Speaker 1: behind the scenes things for TV industry of like watching
- 19:36Speaker 1: how things progress, like whether it be wardrobe and I
- 19:39Speaker 1: know that's something Aaron has pointed out so many times,
- 19:43Speaker 1: but the improvement in wardrobe or decor makeup, Yeah, I'm
- 19:49Speaker 1: just I'm still seeing that in progress and it's I
- 19:53Speaker 1: like it.
- 19:54Speaker 3: I will say, yeah, I want to give mad props
- 19:56Speaker 3: to props on this episode. One of my biggest gripes
- 20:00Speaker 3: and like today his empty bags and purses and cups
- 20:04Speaker 3: like containers should have things in them. The actors need
- 20:07Speaker 3: to wait and uh, in this David stuffel bag had
- 20:11Speaker 3: stuff in it both when he arrived and left, and
- 20:14Speaker 3: I thought that was nice. Also bad detail is the
- 20:19Speaker 3: switch for the lamp was not where Sophia used it,
- 20:23Speaker 3: it was above it.
- 20:24Speaker 4: And also, oh, I didn't even see that.
- 20:28Speaker 2: I love that on like SNL, like they'll just kind
- 20:30Speaker 2: of touch the wall and then three seconds later the lights.
- 20:34Speaker 1: She just tapped the lamp and it went out, and
- 20:38Speaker 1: there's one of those turning button things. Yeah.
- 20:41Speaker 3: And then the phone that uh, the phone that's out
- 20:46Speaker 3: on the LNAI. I had that phone growing up, that
- 20:50Speaker 3: cordless phone. Yeah, you had to push talk to turn
- 20:53Speaker 3: it on and off. You couldn't just slam the receiver
- 20:56Speaker 3: down on that.
- 21:00Speaker 1: But I thought that those phones were designed that if
- 21:02Speaker 1: you did hang them up in such a way that
- 21:05Speaker 1: it would end the call.
- 21:07Speaker 2: I don't remember them doing that. I think they had to.
- 21:09Speaker 3: Take the button because the charge thing was at the bottom.
- 21:13Speaker 4: Well, I didn't have one when I was we have
- 21:17Speaker 4: that phone.
- 21:19Speaker 3: I used to think it was cool that they had
- 21:22Speaker 3: our phone.
- 21:22Speaker 1: It's how I know something of her phone, and I'm
- 21:26Speaker 1: almost like great cool looking out.
- 21:32Speaker 4: Can you hear a little peepee?
- 21:35Speaker 3: I hear the people having the sound of little dicks?
- 21:41Speaker 4: Now it's fine?
- 21:43Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, late late Dix.
- 21:48Speaker 3: Yeah, does anyone else have anything? Sactually jump into the
- 21:50Speaker 3: quiz and an organically chatter way out. What would you
- 21:53Speaker 3: like to do? Ladies, let's jump into the quiz umber
- 21:59Speaker 3: I will y'all took notes.
- 22:01Speaker 4: I certainly did. Nope, Nope, christ didn't. Oh yeah, there
- 22:07Speaker 4: you go. Oh she took a lot more.
- 22:10Speaker 1: I did Christ's wins.
- 22:12Speaker 2: Like the wall was this color?
- 22:14Speaker 5: Yeah, I just like to take notes.
- 22:16Speaker 3: I'm weird.
- 22:17Speaker 1: Well the first weird, you're detailed the first question. Sorry,
- 22:23Speaker 1: there's a bird fight outside my window. It distracted me. Apologize.
- 22:29Speaker 3: Yeah, well, the bigger birds come in and try to
- 22:32Speaker 3: say like fuck you to the little birds, and it
- 22:35Speaker 3: is very distracting even while I'm working.
- 22:37Speaker 1: I'm like, anyway, I would completely watch it.
- 22:42Speaker 3: Quiz time.
- 22:44Speaker 2: Let's go.
- 22:46Speaker 3: Question one and we're saying our names to buzz In again.
- 22:49Speaker 3: This what does Dorothy see that makes her loser? Train
- 22:53Speaker 3: of thought? When David is having the party.
- 22:57Speaker 5: Kristen, Yes, his friend's rat, his bleach, his only on
- 23:06Speaker 5: his head. No, he he had he had little.
- 23:10Speaker 2: Some of the like a little little hangs.
- 23:12Speaker 1: I missed them, but you could tell that that was
- 23:15Speaker 1: that was a costume and trying to tie it all together.
- 23:19Speaker 3: Yeah, it was bad, bad, Yeah, all right, first point
- 23:25Speaker 3: to good job christ Christen.
- 23:28Speaker 1: Where is Carrie Grant living Jody, Yes, in the closet.
- 23:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't remember that at all.
- 23:37Speaker 5: Right, At the beginning, she says, she said Sophia she
- 23:42Speaker 5: was living an eight year old Oh yeah, how can
- 23:44Speaker 5: we have what do you think I'm talking about Carrie
- 23:46Speaker 5: Grant in the closet?
- 23:48Speaker 1: Yeah, because I was talking about yeah, yeah, how how
- 23:52Speaker 1: is she going to or how their life was going
- 23:54Speaker 1: to be affected by Rowe or not?
- 23:57Speaker 4: Rose? Sorry, Sophia and Dorothy sleeping together?
- 24:00Speaker 1: Yeah, a rooming railing.
- 24:04Speaker 3: All right, we're tied up here. How many times did
- 24:08Speaker 3: Sophia sit through the movie Rambo? Jody Kristin Kristen was
- 24:14Speaker 3: first twice? Yep, damn it.
- 24:17Speaker 2: I should take notes and he didn't.
- 24:19Speaker 5: He he was sweaty and never put his shirt back off.
- 24:25Speaker 4: Yep, he was pretty ripped in that movie.
- 24:28Speaker 2: He was good Drooper's Blood.
- 24:31Speaker 3: He still had that face though, So that's the oh
- 24:34Speaker 3: Abby's upset.
- 24:35Speaker 2: He doesn't like Rambo.
- 24:37Speaker 5: She doesn't like Rambo if she doesn't well like the
- 24:40Speaker 5: Italian Stallion.
- 24:41Speaker 4: We were talking about his body and.
- 24:42Speaker 1: She was like, no, I did.
- 24:44Speaker 3: I did a movie with his brother, So I think
- 24:46Speaker 3: I like automatically, I just don't like that family as
- 24:50Speaker 3: much anymore. Because yeah, and you're right, good.
- 24:56Speaker 4: Job, good job, good calling out.
- 24:59Speaker 3: All right, why did Alice have to sit on his
- 25:02Speaker 3: stool in order to be milked.
- 25:05Speaker 5: Kristen, Yes, there was a plowing accident.
- 25:09Speaker 2: And I'm still not sure. She didn't finish the story.
- 25:13Speaker 1: Right, She didn't know because she went from Alice to
- 25:15Speaker 1: Toby like it's just missing a leg, right, well, and
- 25:23Speaker 1: when David came back, that was supposed to be his punishment.
- 25:27Speaker 1: It was for her to finish that story, and she well,
- 25:29Speaker 1: David finished the story.
- 25:31Speaker 4: She did, she did.
- 25:32Speaker 3: She told him multiple stories.
- 25:33Speaker 5: She told him.
- 25:34Speaker 3: When David he.
- 25:35Speaker 1: Meant to see it, he says, I got slapped.
- 25:40Speaker 4: I did work.
- 25:41Speaker 3: I learned about disabled farm animals.
- 25:44Speaker 2: Yes, yes, I don't think that's questions fair. We don't
- 25:47Speaker 2: really know.
- 25:49Speaker 4: We weren't there. We didn't hear it.
- 25:52Speaker 3: Wow, Well, she doesn't start off by saying a nasty
- 25:56Speaker 3: plowing accident.
- 25:59Speaker 1: However, we wanted. We wanted to hear the rest of
- 26:03Speaker 1: the closure.
- 26:05Speaker 3: Okay, all right, cool, good talk? What the subject is
- 26:09Speaker 3: Dorothy studying for.
- 26:13Speaker 1: French?
- 26:14Speaker 5: Her French final Let me get one sorry, because I'm like,
- 26:21Speaker 5: what is she studying French corps? And why we've never
- 26:24Speaker 5: heard about this?
- 26:26Speaker 4: Abby? Abby?
- 26:27Speaker 2: French?
- 26:28Speaker 4: Yeah? What are you saying?
- 26:29Speaker 1: They already answered him. Abby's kind of buzzing.
- 26:37Speaker 2: I's like, I know, dear listener, please excuse our barking.
- 26:42Speaker 2: Producers has notes alright, faster, funnier.
- 26:49Speaker 4: Please enjoy the barking.
- 26:51Speaker 3: When Sophia tells Dorothy she's getting a cold for the
- 26:54Speaker 3: second time, what does Dorothy ask her?
- 26:58Speaker 4: Nope, M I don't know.
- 27:01Speaker 2: Look at me, you're getting a cold? I don't remember.
- 27:06Speaker 3: All right, Okay, tell us Eric, what is this the
- 27:12Speaker 3: curse of the cat woman?
- 27:13Speaker 5: Oh?
- 27:15Speaker 2: Right, I think she's putting a curse on her.
- 27:18Speaker 5: Oh I even have that written down, curse of the
- 27:20Speaker 5: cat woman.
- 27:22Speaker 2: It's fine my memory.
- 27:26Speaker 3: When Rose asks Sophia how it's possible to get pregnant
- 27:30Speaker 3: crossing the street in Sicily, what is.
- 27:34Speaker 5: Jody Kyanti and narrow streets.
- 27:38Speaker 2: At a fish question?
- 27:41Speaker 5: I thought that was clever. They're like, crossing the street
- 27:46Speaker 5: without getting pregnant was a chore in Sicily, And she's like,
- 27:50Speaker 5: how how do you get pregnant crossing the street and
- 27:53Speaker 5: narrow street?
- 27:54Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 27:55Speaker 5: I thought that was clever. It was.
- 27:58Speaker 3: Where does the policeman say he found David Gina?
- 28:02Speaker 2: Yeah, stowed away in the airplane bathroom on his way
- 28:07Speaker 2: to the Bahamas.
- 28:09Speaker 3: No, I'm sorry anyone else.
- 28:13Speaker 5: Kristen, Yes, in the Bahamas at the good something store,
- 28:19Speaker 5: Good plenty store.
- 28:20Speaker 2: Good.
- 28:20Speaker 3: You guys suck. No one's getting this point. He was
- 28:24Speaker 3: at the duty free store. Duty free store at the Bahamas.
- 28:28Speaker 1: I can't wait to go to the duty free store.
- 28:32Speaker 4: All right, Oh my gosh.
- 28:34Speaker 3: You both told parts of the story. So Gina will
- 28:38Speaker 3: get a put her on the board point.
- 28:41Speaker 5: Give Gina the point.
- 28:42Speaker 3: Yeah, there you go, you get a point.
- 28:44Speaker 4: Gina's on the board.
- 28:45Speaker 1: Okay, he did it. Question Question nine, What kitchen tool
- 28:51Speaker 1: does Sophia suggest Gina?
- 28:53Speaker 2: Kristen?
- 28:54Speaker 3: Gina was first that time.
- 28:56Speaker 2: A melon baller.
- 28:57Speaker 3: Kristen, Yes, okay, funk in.
- 29:01Speaker 2: The mellow ball.
- 29:03Speaker 5: I love melan ball.
- 29:06Speaker 3: When I was younger, my mom had this like little
- 29:11Speaker 3: lump in her arm that was hard, and they were
- 29:13Speaker 3: gonna cut it out and make sure she didn't have
- 29:15Speaker 3: like cancer or whatever, and I kept offering she didn't
- 29:18Speaker 3: have a heart on inappropriate. I kept asking my mom
- 29:22Speaker 3: if I should get the melon baller because I would
- 29:26Speaker 3: scoop it out for her. So I've always loved that
- 29:30Speaker 3: the melon ball plays such a large role in David's
- 29:33Speaker 3: visit on this episode.
- 29:36Speaker 5: Yeah, it looks like when she slaps him, She's like,
- 29:40Speaker 5: I didn't have a melon ball, Like, what.
- 29:44Speaker 2: Was she going to do? Yeah?
- 29:46Speaker 4: Yeah, all right, another belly button, Jody.
- 29:49Speaker 3: You could tie it up for second place, or or
- 29:53Speaker 3: you could come in last. Here's the last question. Let's
- 29:56Speaker 3: all yeah, what does Dorothy tell Rose that David's punishment
- 30:03Speaker 3: will be when he returns? Yes?
- 30:06Speaker 1: To finish the story about how Alice has.
- 30:10Speaker 4: To sit on the stool?
- 30:12Speaker 1: Yepkay, Jody, Okay, because I need to know what happened.
- 30:18Speaker 3: I hear you, and I respect you, and I just
- 30:21Speaker 3: because I love you. I did screenshot the quote, so
- 30:23Speaker 3: let me see here. I found it written out. It
- 30:27Speaker 3: says Alice had to sit on a stool. You see,
- 30:30Speaker 3: she was involved in a nasty plowing accident. It was
- 30:33Speaker 3: during spring planting and Daddy had exture up to the plow.
- 30:36Speaker 3: Wow because abbe because poor old Toby had gotten a
- 30:44Speaker 3: fever and gone deaf. So the cow had to pull
- 30:48Speaker 3: the plow because the horse had a fever and had
- 30:54Speaker 3: gone deaf. Can you go deaf from a fever? Yes, Ken, yeah,
- 30:59Speaker 3: you can go blind from a fever. To ask Mary Angels, Well,
- 31:03Speaker 3: she's dead, so don't ask her but she famously went blind.
- 31:07Speaker 3: And isn't that how Helen Keller went How she became
- 31:11Speaker 3: daf and blind? Was a she had like typhoid fever
- 31:13Speaker 3: as an infant or something.
- 31:14Speaker 5: Yeah, there's different kinds of fingers in young infants that
- 31:18Speaker 5: can cause deafness, blindness, things like that.
- 31:21Speaker 2: Toby was what animal?
- 31:23Speaker 3: I think Toby was their horse horse? Okay, and that's
- 31:26Speaker 3: why the cow had to pull the plow instead.
- 31:29Speaker 5: And then unless it was a bullard off Okay, look this,
- 31:34Speaker 5: I'm just say I knew it was.
- 31:35Speaker 3: I could provide a little more context that.
- 31:38Speaker 2: I still need closure.
- 31:39Speaker 3: Alice shouldn't have been pulling a plow because she was
- 31:42Speaker 3: a milking cow.
- 31:43Speaker 4: It definitely.
- 31:43Speaker 5: I want to know what happened to Larry the one
- 31:45Speaker 5: I oh, yeah, h Larry, does he have a patch?
- 31:50Speaker 3: I don't know that. I want tolerable circle back to
- 31:57Speaker 3: the prison meal, that the death row meal that, oh
- 32:01Speaker 3: that I would eat the ship out of that. That
- 32:05Speaker 3: sounds delicious.
- 32:07Speaker 5: A triple potato stato potato scout scouts.
- 32:13Speaker 4: I can't say salads.
- 32:14Speaker 2: A potato salad macaroni okayto it was potato.
- 32:20Speaker 3: Salad, potato salad, okay, And then double chocolate fudge.
- 32:24Speaker 5: Cake fudge for lunch.
- 32:27Speaker 2: Presumably I don't know what time it was.
- 32:29Speaker 3: That's a lunch, but that was after snack.
- 32:35Speaker 2: Oh right, right, right, I wanted already out in right
- 32:39Speaker 2: like how big was her?
- 32:42Speaker 4: How bad is?
- 32:45Speaker 3: I will say I I like to share embarrassing stories
- 32:48Speaker 3: on podcasts, and so I will say I found a
- 32:51Speaker 3: new pizza place that has really nice, thin New York
- 32:54Speaker 3: style pizza out here. It's what I ordered last night.
- 32:57Speaker 3: The pizzas like I think, like twelve cheese but super thin.
- 33:01Speaker 3: But it's more than I should have eaten in one sitting.
- 33:04Speaker 3: But as it started to get cold, I was like,
- 33:05Speaker 3: this will not reheat well, and so I ate like
- 33:08Speaker 3: two thirds of the pizza. And I had a pretty
- 33:11Speaker 3: hardy poop this morning because that was much too much
- 33:15Speaker 3: food for my belly.
- 33:17Speaker 4: So ten out of ten toilet clogging meal.
- 33:23Speaker 2: Like shitter bowel stories on podcasts, period shits.
- 33:29Speaker 3: I don't know if you guys know this. There's this
- 33:30Speaker 3: really sweet book out there called Everybody Poops because everybody
- 33:35Speaker 3: don't be ashamed of it.
- 33:36Speaker 1: Hey, well, I told the story of people using my
- 33:40Speaker 1: bathroom at work and not using the HOOPERI and deciding
- 33:45Speaker 1: that dookie was the proper smell.
- 33:48Speaker 2: Or washing their hands. That's a more gross part.
- 33:51Speaker 3: Let me let me ask you this. Let's get a
- 33:53Speaker 3: hot take hot egg.
- 33:56Speaker 4: It's so hot.
- 34:00Speaker 3: If you're home alone. This is easier for me because
- 34:04Speaker 3: I don't live with a spouse. If you're home alone,
- 34:08Speaker 3: do you bathroom spray or do you just walk away
- 34:10Speaker 3: and go somewhere else in the house walk away? Yeah?
- 34:14Speaker 3: I don't waste the product when it because it's just me.
- 34:18Speaker 1: I like the smell of it, though, so when I
- 34:21Speaker 1: get the opportunity to use it, I use it.
- 34:24Speaker 3: It must be nice to have a two income household.
- 34:29Speaker 2: We can afford, Pooperrie.
- 34:35Speaker 5: Now, is it the spray or the airsol one spray?
- 34:39Speaker 2: Okay?
- 34:39Speaker 5: Because I don't like the airsol one because my cat
- 34:41Speaker 5: always follows me in there and I don't want him
- 34:43Speaker 5: inhaling that crap. Yeah.
- 34:44Speaker 3: Did you know that the wallflowers that bathroom body work
- 34:47Speaker 3: cells are actually like super bad for animals?
- 34:51Speaker 4: Oh? I didn't know that.
- 34:52Speaker 3: Yeah, they're not good for dogs and cats. I don't
- 34:55Speaker 3: know about Luna and if you still have any at
- 34:57Speaker 3: the office, but they're not I don't have any in
- 34:59Speaker 3: my office, or I don't.
- 35:01Speaker 5: Even diffuse my central oils unless it's certain ones because
- 35:04Speaker 5: it's really good.
- 35:05Speaker 3: Yeah, puts. In fact, I've already repurposed my Tamu plague
- 35:13Speaker 3: doctor incense burner as a desk chotsky because I can't
- 35:19Speaker 3: be sure that my incense isn't contributing to Abby's health issues.
- 35:23Speaker 1: Yeah, respiratory wise, Yeah, that's that's a good call.
- 35:28Speaker 4: Kill our little pets are so sensitive.
- 35:32Speaker 2: Can you officially announce who won the quiz? I don't
- 35:35Speaker 2: think we got that.
- 35:36Speaker 1: Oh yeah, oh are we done us by an embarrassing landslide.
- 35:41Speaker 3: Kristen fucking murdered you guys.
- 35:44Speaker 1: She had five five points five Oh my gosh.
- 35:50Speaker 3: Out of nine questions. I stumped you guys on one,
- 35:53Speaker 3: and I think, actually, moving forward, I may go ahead
- 35:56Speaker 3: and start giving myself China say, yeah, yeah, bring it on.
- 36:01Speaker 1: For the ones that so if we get stumped, then
- 36:05Speaker 1: that is a point for you. Yes, yeah, I love
- 36:08Speaker 1: that idea. Well, you're putting together the quizzes, yeah, are.
- 36:11Speaker 5: You going to do super hard ones? Like what color
- 36:13Speaker 5: was the vase in the background? I mean, not a.
- 36:17Speaker 3: Quizzes, not a monster. I just know I think for me.
- 36:25Speaker 1: I think I said well, I mean she said well,
- 36:29Speaker 1: and I'm gonna save her here so that we don't
- 36:31Speaker 1: get hate mail for Jody so quickly. It'll still happen,
- 36:35Speaker 1: but but not as quickly.
- 36:38Speaker 4: Well, we both did actually.
- 36:41Speaker 3: Look well to the two bitches on the lower half
- 36:44Speaker 3: of this zoom. I just want to say I was
- 36:47Speaker 3: a professional scare acter for seventeen years, so that's probably
- 36:50Speaker 3: what they were referring to.
- 36:52Speaker 4: Oh, you haunted us, You're gonna haunt us. What's up?
- 36:55Speaker 4: What's up? You're gonna haunt us?
- 36:57Speaker 3: Let's go anyway back to what I was saying. I mean,
- 37:03Speaker 3: Joey asks this conversation back to me. I think the
- 37:06Speaker 3: Stump component should just be like, am I able to
- 37:09Speaker 3: do it weekly? Not in an I win the game way,
- 37:11Speaker 3: but like, yeah, they'll be like Stump, Yeah, they'll be
- 37:15Speaker 3: like maybe one super hard question. I mean fun, I'm
- 37:21Speaker 3: not a dictator. No, what I was going to say,
- 37:24Speaker 3: what happened? Why? What ha happened? You guys made it
- 37:29Speaker 3: really easy for me again on the villain thing, because
- 37:31Speaker 3: Sophia goes against what Blanche's wishes are in her own home.
- 37:37Speaker 3: I understand you think the kid needs slap, but she
- 37:41Speaker 3: very clearly in the first scene set up that they
- 37:43Speaker 3: were not a corporal punishment family, that they did not
- 37:46Speaker 3: believe in any kind of hitting. And so it makes
- 37:50Speaker 3: it pretty easy. Since Sophia didn't respect the person who's
- 37:54Speaker 3: house she lives in's rules.
- 37:56Speaker 5: Yeah, I could see that, but I don't think it
- 37:59Speaker 5: necessarily makes her the villain, because even the kid at
- 38:02Speaker 5: the end was kind of like, yeah, I deserved it
- 38:04Speaker 5: and I learned a lesson. So I mean, maybe she
- 38:07Speaker 5: didn't quite follow Blanche's wishes obviously, but in the end,
- 38:13Speaker 5: I don't feel like she was a villain.
- 38:14Speaker 4: David was the villain. Let's get real.
- 38:17Speaker 3: Actually I can further dig a hole, but let's let
- 38:20Speaker 3: Gina talk.
- 38:21Speaker 2: Sorry, I'd like to defend Sophia real quick and say
- 38:25Speaker 2: he got in her face, and she's a tiny lady.
- 38:28Speaker 2: She may have been just defending herself.
- 38:31Speaker 3: For sure, but she's also intentionally annoying to Dorothy while
- 38:35Speaker 3: she's trying to say for her French exam, she wasted
- 38:39Speaker 3: three tissues, Why just.
- 38:44Speaker 4: Wipe it?
- 38:45Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a fucking crime. You're wasting products and killing trees.
- 38:49Speaker 2: And as Nara noted, the no longer available colored tissues.
- 38:53Speaker 1: Yeah, yellow, yeah, gold yeah, and then see what else
- 39:00Speaker 1: one of the other villain times. Oh well, she she
- 39:03Speaker 1: flat out calls a blanche prostitute. At the end, she says,
- 39:09Speaker 1: you should know about tricks.
- 39:11Speaker 5: There's gonna be a lot more. She likes to call
- 39:14Speaker 5: her that.
- 39:15Speaker 3: She's extra feisty in this episode.
- 39:18Speaker 5: That's true, but she also had some really sweet moments
- 39:22Speaker 5: with Dorothy when they were in bed and talking about
- 39:24Speaker 5: when Dorothy was scared of she had a nightmare about
- 39:27Speaker 5: a bear, and then she'd come in to her mom's
- 39:29Speaker 5: room and I thought that was really sweet.
- 39:32Speaker 3: She only had that moment after Dorothy initiated it. Her
- 39:36Speaker 3: initial response was, thank god, I haven't slept in bed
- 39:41Speaker 3: with you since you were a kid. Dorothy had to
- 39:44Speaker 3: create every sweet moment that you keep bringing up, and
- 39:49Speaker 3: Dorothy had to apologize for her mom's behavior, which is embarrassing.
- 39:54Speaker 3: She constantly caused trouble this episode. I think it was
- 39:57Speaker 3: an easy villain.
- 39:59Speaker 5: She also made it I've met the relationship with any
- 40:01Speaker 5: mom and their daughter.
- 40:03Speaker 4: To extends for most people.
- 40:09Speaker 3: That doesn't mean that your mom's not a villain.
- 40:12Speaker 2: She also made fun of her own daughter's voice by
- 40:15Speaker 2: being like mom, I had a bad yep, yeah, saying
- 40:20Speaker 2: she was three and headed like a deep voice.
- 40:23Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, it's not a good Sophia episode. I know
- 40:26Speaker 3: you you want to. I'm not sure why I defend her,
- 40:30Speaker 3: but it's not a good one for her. It's not
- 40:33Speaker 3: the worst. She's actually terrible in a couple more. And
- 40:35Speaker 3: I hope you pick her in that.
- 40:36Speaker 1: But okay.
- 40:39Speaker 4: For me.
- 40:40Speaker 3: If you were like, hey, Aaron, you cannot slap Jeremy,
- 40:44Speaker 3: and I'd be like, I know, because he's dead. But
- 40:46Speaker 3: if you were like, no, if he were alive, you
- 40:49Speaker 3: can never hit him in the face, of course, and
- 40:52Speaker 3: I did. I got pissed off at me if we
- 40:57Speaker 3: were in your house. Yes, I think it's the lack
- 41:00Speaker 3: of respect for that groves the point in this episode.
- 41:04Speaker 3: But I don't think she's a bad person. This is
- 41:06Speaker 3: just a game we have.
- 41:07Speaker 5: To play and Blant she even got over it pretty quick. Yeah,
- 41:10Speaker 5: she was like, oh, well, because there's.
- 41:14Speaker 1: Because her grandson's a piece of shit, That's why she
- 41:17Speaker 1: got over it.
- 41:17Speaker 2: I mean, it's fourteen, let's remember the I don't and
- 41:21Speaker 2: going out for pizza, bringing people home, playing loud music
- 41:25Speaker 2: at two o'clock in the morning, right.
- 41:27Speaker 4: But also.
- 41:29Speaker 1: I think it's easy for Blanche to be able to
- 41:31Speaker 1: get over these these little ripples that she's experiencing because
- 41:38Speaker 1: she lives with good people. I mean, regardless of you know,
- 41:42Speaker 1: their personality quirks each one of those women, they're good people,
- 41:47Speaker 1: so and they're they're maneuvering through life living together.
- 41:53Speaker 2: And she knows Sophia had a stroke. She's like, she's crazy.
- 41:56Speaker 3: Truthfully, I could have probably also made a pretty strong
- 41:59Speaker 3: case for Dorothy as a villain for this episode as well,
- 42:03Speaker 3: because I wouldn't have thought that at the beginning. She's
- 42:07Speaker 3: very bitchy about I have a French test. Okay, well,
- 42:10Speaker 3: let's calm down. Maybe you're too old to take French.
- 42:13Speaker 1: If having an extra person in the house means you're
- 42:16Speaker 1: going to fail your class, do better the rest of
- 42:19Speaker 1: the fourteen year old?
- 42:20Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, but having a fourteen year old over with you,
- 42:22Speaker 5: is it real?
- 42:25Speaker 1: Well, but fourteen versus let's say a three year old
- 42:28Speaker 1: or a four year old that is going to be
- 42:30Speaker 1: up at you know, way early in the well, you know,
- 42:33Speaker 1: old people do get up very early, so maybe that's
- 42:35Speaker 1: not a big issue. But you know, banging, I mean
- 42:39Speaker 1: doing kids stuff, bang banging noises.
- 42:43Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 42:45Speaker 4: It depends on the child.
- 42:47Speaker 1: Yeah, Dorothy very often has the like selfish reason behind
- 42:53Speaker 1: objecting to something.
- 42:56Speaker 3: But look, she's she's my favorite, so I don't care.
- 42:59Speaker 2: She's gonna with Sophia many more times. Yeah, I remember correctly.
- 43:03Speaker 3: So many times. I look forward about it all the times,
- 43:09Speaker 3: but a few more times.
- 43:10Speaker 2: Yeah, David's parents were not getting along, and so he
- 43:14Speaker 2: went to Grandma's for two weeks, and by the end
- 43:17Speaker 2: of it they invited him to Hawaii. So was it
- 43:20Speaker 2: two weeks or did they extend their vacation? Did anyone understand.
- 43:25Speaker 1: That trip for their second honeymoon?
- 43:28Speaker 5: Yeah, so why would.
- 43:30Speaker 1: You bring your fortunes?
- 43:31Speaker 2: And after two weeks were they they still there?
- 43:35Speaker 5: How much money did they have?
- 43:38Speaker 4: Well? Was the eighties?
- 43:40Speaker 2: Did that make sense to you, Aaron?
- 43:42Speaker 3: I don't know the answer to that. Yeah. I'm assuming
- 43:45Speaker 3: he finished his time out there because he had time
- 43:48Speaker 3: to finish the chores and learn lessons and hear the
- 43:50Speaker 3: rest of the animal stories.
- 43:52Speaker 1: So I think he must have finished out his time.
- 43:54Speaker 1: So maybe maybe, maybe, well I was gonna say, maybe
- 43:58Speaker 1: they're you know, so well off they have a home
- 44:01Speaker 1: or the ability to just extend that trip and try
- 44:04Speaker 1: to do a family.
- 44:04Speaker 2: Thing must be nice, David.
- 44:07Speaker 3: We we extended trips quite a few times, not by
- 44:10Speaker 3: like weeks or anything, but by a few days here there,
- 44:12Speaker 3: when I was little and my family had a bit more.
- 44:16Speaker 2: Can you imagine two weeks in Hawaii today, he'd be fucking.
- 44:18Speaker 1: Broke and oh goodness, yeah, yeah, so bored. I'd be
- 44:23Speaker 1: like a week, week and a half.
- 44:26Speaker 2: Sure, I've never been.
- 44:28Speaker 3: I was nine the last time I was there.
- 44:31Speaker 5: There's lots to do if you have money, sure, but
- 44:33Speaker 5: if you don't have a bunch of money and you
- 44:37Speaker 5: can barely afford groceries.
- 44:39Speaker 4: I did.
- 44:40Speaker 3: Yeah, And we did all the things I did the Hawaii,
- 44:44Speaker 3: the Polynesian Culture Center and the snorkeling blue ol yes
- 44:50Speaker 3: I'm a baby, multiple blue els, and and just lots
- 44:54Speaker 3: of lessons, lots of Hawaiian clothing. Yes, I did Ahula
- 45:00Speaker 3: a hullo lesson at like at one of the luaus.
- 45:04Speaker 3: My parents have a picture of me with this like
- 45:07Speaker 3: massive samoan dude that is like hugging me after the class.
- 45:12Speaker 3: And I'm like, I was nine, so I was very
- 45:17Speaker 3: small compared to this very tall, very wide do.
- 45:20Speaker 2: You have like a grass skirt and coconut bra No.
- 45:23Speaker 3: I think I had my purple Hawaiian style mumu with
- 45:27Speaker 3: like little lace on the shoulders. But I can verify
- 45:30Speaker 3: when I'm at my parents' house because it is played
- 45:32Speaker 3: on the wall.
- 45:33Speaker 4: I need a picture of the show.
- 45:35Speaker 2: Picture all right, kids, Well this has been another successful
