  Speaker 1: And I've never ever, ever had this before. So you know,

  Speaker 1: I'm excited. I don't know about you, but i know

  Speaker 1: I'm excited.

  Speaker 1: To be throwing some questions out there between you and

  Speaker 1: doctor Simone. And I'm choked up about these questions because

  Speaker 1: i can't wait to hear her answers. So here we go,

  Speaker 1: The one and only doctor. What sparked the vision for

  Speaker 1: I am a living testimony? Was there a moment God

  Speaker 1: told you this has to be shared?

  Speaker 6: Yes, right after brain surgery. Uh, still healing from the
• 3:59
  Speaker 6: brain surgery, and I was laying there watching TV and
• 4:04
  Speaker 6: just getting comfortable pretty much in my condition, and God said,
• 4:09
  Speaker 6: get up.
• 4:11
  Speaker 5: And get the project ready.
• 4:14
  Speaker 6: And he said, there are too many people that are
• 4:17
  Speaker 6: sitting and they need to see themselves pass their situation,
• 4:22
  Speaker 6: past what they've gone through. And he said, I'm tired
• 4:26
  Speaker 6: of my people just sitting on their gifts and talents.
• 4:29
  Speaker 6: And he said, you're not going to just lay here and.
• 4:32
  Speaker 5: Just watch TV all day. Put the project together.

  Speaker 6: So I was like fresh out, probably maybe about a
• 4:39
  Speaker 6: month or close to almost two months, and if even
• 4:44
  Speaker 6: that long. When I was starting to prepare the project
• 4:48
  Speaker 6: and getting all the authors in and putting everything together,
• 4:53
  Speaker 6: I was putting together systems. I didn't even know what
• 4:57
  Speaker 6: I was doing. All I knew. God just said go
• 5:00
  Speaker 6: and I.

  Speaker 5: Said, okay, I want thirty five. I put a number.
• 5:04
  Speaker 6: I want thirty five authors, and I laughed. I said,
• 5:07
  Speaker 6: not many people are not gonna sign up. And God
• 5:11
  Speaker 6: gave me exactly thirty five authors and it may thirty
• 5:15
  Speaker 6: seven with myself and my husband.
• 5:18
  Speaker 1: Wow.
• 5:18
  Speaker 6: And so the project was was birth and everybody was
• 5:22
  Speaker 6: so patient with me, and and I was times I
• 5:26
  Speaker 6: was overwhelmed on one to scratch the project, but but God.

  Speaker 5: Said, no, you know you must, you must do it.
• 5:34
  Speaker 5: So here we are.

  Speaker 1: Well, I'm glad that you did. I'm glad that he

  Speaker 1: nudged you. I'm so glad that you're still with us,

  Speaker 1: you said after brain surged you. So I'm just so

  Speaker 1: happy that you're here. So co authors, I'm not gonna

  Speaker 1: leave you out, and I don't sit there and think

  Speaker 1: that you're not gonna have something to say. What made

  Speaker 1: you say yes to sharing your testimony in this book?

  Speaker 7: Well, I tell you, hey, I'm apostle on your Mac

  Speaker 7: and turn. I tell you that the night before it
• 6:05
  Speaker 7: was interesting that the Lord told me to sit down
• 6:08
  Speaker 7: and write, and I sat down and I wrote a
• 6:12
  Speaker 7: story out and then I got a message an inbox
• 6:17
  Speaker 7: from Simone's mom and I'm like, okay, Lord, I hear you.
• 6:23
  Speaker 8: I see where you're coming from.
• 6:24
  Speaker 7: So I had to say yes because he had already
• 6:26
  Speaker 7: told me the night before to start writing.
• 6:30
  Speaker 1: Anybody else on the ship. Why did you say yes?

  Speaker 5: I've said yes because it was time.

  Speaker 9: You know, I had been sitting on this testimony for
• 6:41
  Speaker 9: years because I was I was ashamed of it, I
• 6:44
  Speaker 9: was ashamed to tell it. And when I when the

  Speaker 9: invitation was given, that was my nudge, like it's time
• 6:51
  Speaker 9: you have to share it because somebody needs to hear this,
• 6:54
  Speaker 9: and you're not here to please the world.

  Speaker 10: You're here to please me. That's what God was telling me.

  Speaker 9: You're here to please meet And I need people to

  Speaker 9: know what you went through, because how am I going

  Speaker 9: to reach the people?

  Speaker 9: Apostle as well, and how am I going to reach

  Speaker 9: I've never been through the thing.

  Speaker 12: And as I was testifying about my life about so

  Speaker 12: many things that I went through in my life, they

  Speaker 12: called me and asking that I wanted to be one

  Speaker 12: of the book and I said yes because people need

  Speaker 12: to hear as you know, my story is being from
• 8:10
  Speaker 12: a young team to now I'm forty seven years old

  Speaker 12: and you know, just different things that I've been through

  Speaker 12: in my life. I am a living testimonia, being shot

  Speaker 12: of my head, you know, losing two kids at three
• 8:22
  Speaker 12: years old, death.

  Speaker 10: You know, you know, just being this obeating all around thing.

  Speaker 12: I'm here today and somebody need to hear. That is hope,

  Speaker 12: steal and God. We are overcomings of.

  Speaker 13: a healing journey during that time, and after my mom passed,

  Speaker 13: I had promised her that I would, you know, fulfill

  Speaker 13: my dream of writing books. And it was like I

  Speaker 13: just kept contemplating, Yeah, I'm gonna do it, but the
• 9:38
  Speaker 13: timing isn't right. It don't had the time. I'm not
• 9:40
  Speaker 13: ready and it seemed like as soon as Samone like
• 9:44
  Speaker 13: put that out there, my spirit just jumped for joy.
• 9:47
  Speaker 13: But at the same time, I was scared and I
• 9:49
  Speaker 13: was like, oh no, no, no, no, and then the
• 9:51
  Speaker 13: spirit was just like yes, yes, yes, like this was
• 9:54
  Speaker 13: part of the healing journey. So for me, it was
• 9:56
  Speaker 13: a definite yes I did. I did a yes scare
• 9:59
  Speaker 13: like I said yes, but my body was saying no, no, no,
• 10:03
  Speaker 13: and uh yeah. It was just a beautiful thing. And
• 10:05
  Speaker 13: I'm just glad that I accepted that I was obedient
• 10:08
  Speaker 13: because of beautiful things came out of this experience.

  Speaker 6: And you know, Sanita telling about how disobedience cost her,

  Speaker 6: and Shalon being very transparent about her grieving journey, and

  Speaker 6: and even Prophetes prophet even her sharing her story and

  Speaker 6: and her testimony about grieving as well. And so I

  Speaker 6: am proud of each and every one of you guys

  Speaker 6: for stepping up to the plate and and dealing with

  Speaker 6: me through my brain surgery situation. And so yeah, so

  Speaker 7: I'm a mother of five grown children, eight grandchildren. Been

  Speaker 7: teaching for over twenty years. I've had all types of jobs.

  Speaker 7: As a child, I was a teacher. Innately, I'm a teacher.

  Speaker 7: I've always been writing. I've actually written many books that

  Speaker 7: never got published. Some of them got lost somewhere, somebody

  Speaker 7: out there has a manuscripted two of mine. Maybe they

  Speaker 7: just out there somewhere. But I'm p K Head. So

  Speaker 7: I've always been in the church, raised church, got in Christ,

  Speaker 7: always had walked into prophetic and walking into prophetic ain't

  Speaker 7: no joke because a lot of times you want to

  Speaker 7: think what you see coming is not really coming, and
• 16:11
  Speaker 7: you hoping and praying that what you saw coming ain't

  Speaker 7: really coming. But is God giving you a warning warning

  Speaker 7: before destruction. And that's where we have to learn to

  Speaker 7: be obedient to what God has given us, because sometimes

  Speaker 7: we have to pray about it and sometimes it's something

  Speaker 7: we really need to act on. And I'll say that

  Speaker 7: has been my entire life, is coming to the realization

  Speaker 7: that I walk, I walk in the office of a prophet,

  Speaker 7: and therefore I have to live like I walk in
• 16:38
  Speaker 7: the office of a prophet, and you must be obedient

  Speaker 7: or it will cost you dearly.

  Speaker 9: Love Church. We've been in ministry for about fourteen fifteen years.

  Speaker 9: Never saw myself as even a pastor, much less than apostle.

  Speaker 5: I was happy being a first lady. I actually desired

  Speaker 5: to be a first lady for most of my life.

  Speaker 9: So I was really happy to marry a pastor. I said,

  Speaker 9: sing praise and worship and be happy with it.

  Speaker 9: five beautiful children, all grown well. When is seventeen, he's

  Speaker 9: a senior. So I'm really proud of my children. I

  Speaker 9: have a Howard grad, I have a more House grad.

  Speaker 9: I have a UCLA grad. I have a junior at
• 17:52
  Speaker 9: Washington State. And my son is trying to find his
• 17:56
  Speaker 9: way and see where he's going to go. But he's
• 17:57
  Speaker 9: been accepted to three schools so far. So I am

  Speaker 9: really really proud of my children. My husband and I
• 18:03
  Speaker 9: also have a record label where recording artists and so
• 18:06
  Speaker 9: we just love love to live life and and you

  Speaker 9: know our our our ministry is focused on on the family,

  Speaker 9: the family center of love. So my husband are big
• 18:17
  Speaker 9: on marriage and relationships and I love.

  Speaker 5: We have written a few other.

  Speaker 9: Books, and so I was very excited, very excited to

  Speaker 9: be a part of I Am a Living testimony because

  Speaker 9: I could really, you know, just just tell my truth

  Speaker 9: and let people get to know me outside of who

  Speaker 9: they seek in church. And I'm just grateful to be

  Speaker 12: And I have seven children. My oldest child she's a girl,

  Speaker 12: she's thirty two. My youngest is nine. I had five

  Speaker 12: boys and two girls. I have a twenty eight year

  Speaker 12: old and he's in prison. My two of my boys deceased,

  Speaker 12: James and Jemima, third and my fourth child.

  Speaker 3: Was three years old from heart disease.

  Speaker 12: And also I have my nineteen year old and then

  Speaker 12: my twelve year old youngest boy, So I am a mother,

  Speaker 3: And overall individual human being.

  Speaker 12: I should say, but my journey started as a teenager.

  Speaker 12: I was born and raised in church. My grandmama raised

  Speaker 12: us all in church Baptist. I was, you know, Baptist,

  Speaker 12: born and raised a Baptist church. But I can say

  Speaker 12: while I am I'm a cook guy. I've been a
• 20:04
  Speaker 12: care providers is ninety six. Actually I stop a mon
• 20:09
  Speaker 12: passed away last year, so I'm like, like possible macatized
• 20:14
  Speaker 12: that I've had several jobs. I'm ending in che held care.

  Speaker 12: I'm a cook cater.
• 20:23
  Speaker 3: You know. So that's why I am.

  Speaker 12: I want to I became a younger old pastor because

  Speaker 12: I want to reach out to the youth, the young adults.

  Speaker 12: You know, you have the older generation, then you have

  Speaker 12: the younger generation. Then in the middle, that's where you

  Speaker 12: have the young adults. You know, the preteens coming into
• 20:41
  Speaker 12: adulthoods who's just trying to figure out their life. So

  Speaker 12: I'm gonna live a testimony. I want to be able
• 20:47
  Speaker 12: to win them over and let them know that there
• 20:49
  Speaker 12: is hope, you know, introduce them to Christ. So on
• 20:52
  Speaker 12: another level, you know of being who they are and

  Speaker 12: not having no one.

  Speaker 3: To talk to.

  Speaker 12: That's how the young adults was created because they were
• 21:00
  Speaker 12: always come to me. And I've always had all the

  Speaker 12: young adults and the teens always come to me. They

  Speaker 12: are drawn to me, and because of they know my life.

  Speaker 12: Some of them know my life, and so they some

  Speaker 12: of them saying, oh Snita, God did it for her.

  Speaker 12: I know he could do it for me. And so

  Speaker 12: just being excited being introduced to God. Some of the

  Speaker 12: young adults at church, you know, they always coming up

  Speaker 12: to me for advice and Godly advice and you know,

  Speaker 12: basically for prayer. I'm always praying for them. So you know,

  Speaker 12: I'm just grateful that I was chose to be a
• 21:32
  Speaker 12: part of the movement, a part of being a part

  Speaker 12: of the I'm a liver testimony apostle doctor Simone. I

  Speaker 12: her mom, I can always go to them and they

  Speaker 12: will always just give me a softly spoken word and

  Speaker 13: was growing up in the Baptist Church. So when I

  Speaker 13: got baptized, I was just excited. I wanted to do everything.

  Speaker 13: I was an usher in the choir, I was a
• 23:45
  Speaker 13: a pastor's rite, and I was doing everything. I was excited.

  Speaker 13: And even at fifty years old now I'm still excited.

  Speaker 13: under the direction of Pastor William Davis, and and I'm

  Speaker 12: life so many times. My whole life is a book really,

  Speaker 12: so as I just so when I was speaking to

  Speaker 12: doctor Samont, she was like, well, Mama, Brenda actually, and

  Speaker 12: she was like, start with that one right there. When
• 26:48
  Speaker 12: I told her, I said, well, you know, I lost
• 26:50
  Speaker 12: two kids to them because of my disobedience, you know,
• 26:54
  Speaker 12: out of my disobedience. And I hadn't relived that moment
• 26:57
  Speaker 12: so as I was writing. When I find got that
• 27:00
  Speaker 12: to writing, I relived that moment and I began to cry.

  Speaker 10: So as I was writing, I began to heal.

  Speaker 12: I start healing, And after I finished, I told doctor

  Speaker 12: Simone and my Branda, like, oh my God, just to

  Speaker 12: I'm grateful and thankful today and I can truly say

  Speaker 12: God has healed me through writing, just through that one,

  Speaker 12: just that one part, I was healing. So I'm grateful

  Speaker 12: because it was so much in me still there, and

  Speaker 12: I was able to identify how much I changed and

  Speaker 12: how much God has brought me out, and how much

  Speaker 12: I healed from that person that I used to be.

  Speaker 7: before I told you, the night before, the Lord had

  Speaker 7: already told me to sit down and start writing. So

  Speaker 7: I sat down the night before and I literally wrote

  Speaker 7: about about three different stories. None of them are the

  Speaker 7: ones that I used, of course, but I needed to
• 28:22
  Speaker 7: get that out of my system before I could write
• 28:26
  Speaker 7: about the next thing. So those writing those stories were
• 28:31
  Speaker 7: healing for me before I could.
• 28:34
  Speaker 8: Let that one out. Because that one.

  Speaker 7: For me, the story that I wrote was a tough
• 28:40
  Speaker 7: one because it's something that I went through that I
• 28:46
  Speaker 7: told rather from my version of it, it's something that
• 28:50
  Speaker 7: happened to my child. Okay, So when you have a

  Speaker 7: child who's abducted and raped brutally, but God shows it
• 29:01
  Speaker 7: to you before it happens, you gotta For me, the
• 29:06
  Speaker 7: hardest part was saying, God, how do I do this thing?

  Speaker 7: How do I say it without truly writing the grotesque
• 29:18
  Speaker 7: picture of what I went through, Because if you could
• 29:22
  Speaker 7: really feel what I went through, which was nowhere near
• 29:25
  Speaker 7: what my child went through, you wouldn't want to finish
• 29:29
  Speaker 7: reading that, you know. So I was like, God, how
• 29:31
  Speaker 7: do I put this in words? To put it on
• 29:33
  Speaker 7: paper so people can read this. So that was the hard.

  Speaker 8: Part for me, and then thinking about.

  Speaker 7: Some things that happened to me because at the time,

  Speaker 7: I ended up not getting my master's degree because the
• 29:49
  Speaker 7: next day I was supposed to take my second part
• 29:52
  Speaker 7: of my master's exam.
• 29:55

  Speaker 8: You know, that's water runder the bridge.

  Speaker 7: So I had to relive all of those things, not

  Speaker 7: just what happened, but the after effects of what happened.

  Speaker 7: So I relived all of those things, and I had

  Speaker 7: to come to a place of forgiveness for myself for
• 30:19
  Speaker 7: my child because they threatened my child with my life
• 30:25
  Speaker 7: and they intended to follow through on it. And I

  Speaker 7: had to forgive my child for those things that she
• 30:33
  Speaker 7: could not say because she was called herself protecting my life.

  Speaker 8: So for me too, it was a healing.

  Speaker 13: just being stuck in that stage of anger, of the

  Speaker 13: grief stage that tried to really break me.

  Speaker 13: It was just a lot going on during the healing journey,

  Speaker 13: and I think it was definitely just being stuck in
• 31:38
  Speaker 13: that cycle of grief, but being stuck in the anger

  Speaker 13: phase because I've always been like a happy, go lucky person,
• 31:46
  Speaker 13: but after the death of my mom, like my whole
• 31:48
  Speaker 13: world changed and I was just a different person, and
• 31:52
  Speaker 13: so yeah, just being stuck in that grief. The enemy
• 31:55
  Speaker 13: was definitely trying to use that against me and make
• 31:58
  Speaker 13: grief this painting, this ugly picture of grief.

  Speaker 8: But when we know.

  Speaker 13: That we serve a wonderful love of loving, amazing God
• 32:08
  Speaker 13: and he can get us through any and everything, I
• 32:11
  Speaker 13: think that was death definitely my saving grace. It had

  Speaker 13: to get me out of that because my mom wouldn't
• 32:16
  Speaker 13: have wanted me to be stuck there. It was just
• 32:19
  Speaker 13: killing something inside of me, and I just didn't feel
• 32:22
  Speaker 13: like myself. So I could definitely say just being stuck
• 32:25
  Speaker 13: in that stage of anger and that grief cycle and
• 32:29
  Speaker 13: not being able to get out of it, that was
• 32:31
  Speaker 13: a tough part for me.

  Speaker 1: Walcor Simon, I want to ask you what was your

  Speaker 1: prayer over this book and every testimony within it.

  Speaker 6: My prayer over this book is that if only at

  Speaker 6: least if only one testimony can reach the right person

  Speaker 6: to just know that no matter what they're going through.

  Speaker 6: the glory and the honor and the praise that we

  Speaker 6: are still here and that we're still standing here.

  Speaker 6: Because of the testimonies that I'm still getting, you know,

  Speaker 6: from other people saying that how they were affected by

  Speaker 6: the book and how you know it's helping them, and

  Speaker 6: were there were points and even through the journey of
• 38:58
  Speaker 6: healing where it seems like I was always on pins

  Speaker 6: and needles.

  Speaker 6: Little thing that I felt that wasn't normal, that voice

  Speaker 6: kept trying to say, you're gonna have another seizure or

  Speaker 6: you're not gonna make it out. But here I am

  Speaker 6: a living testimony a year later, and I'm no longer

  Speaker 6: walking with the cane. I'm no longer walking with a walker,

  Speaker 6: And you know, God is amazing, It's amazing.
