- 0:06Speaker 1: stole the phantom menace pepsi machine.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Unbelievable i i don't know he got past everybody dude
- 0:12Speaker 2: i forgot all about it i forgot about it too
- 0:14Speaker 2: which is probably how it got stolen Right?
- 0:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Good morning, friends. It's Mikey and Bob here on 96.1 KISS. Now,
- 0:22Speaker 2: weeks ago, there's this guy. He's got over a million
- 0:24Speaker 2: followers on Instagram, Braden Days, and he likes to go
- 0:28Speaker 2: around and steal things. Not just Pittsburgh, all over the country,
- 0:32Speaker 2: he steals things that seem to be unstealable. And he
- 0:37Speaker 2: threatened to steal.
- 0:39Speaker 3: the.
- 0:39Speaker 2: Legendary Phantom Menace Pepsi machine that's next to the fire
- 0:44Speaker 2: department up there on Mount Washington. Like, he made videos
- 0:48Speaker 2: a month ago, like, casing it out and did a
- 0:50Speaker 2: whole production for a video of how he's going to
- 0:53Speaker 2: steal it, and then it just kind of disappeared. Well,
- 0:56Speaker 2: we brought it up on our show, and then it
- 0:58Speaker 2: was like the city was up in arms, like, no
- 1:00Speaker 2: one's stealing it.
- 1:01Speaker 3: Yeah, he stole it. He stole it.
- 1:03Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:04Speaker 2: And he put another Pepsi machine... with the phantom menace
- 1:10Speaker 2: like art on it but it's like cartoonish it's it's
- 1:14Speaker 2: incredible what.
- 1:14Speaker 3: This guy did honestly drawn like.
- 1:18Speaker 2: And then it's weird because he sent me a picture
- 1:22Speaker 2: no words he just sent me a picture because we
- 1:24Speaker 2: were sort of involved with this you know we were
- 1:27Speaker 2: riding for the city say hey nobody take that phantom
- 1:30Speaker 2: menacing that's legendary it's like a pittsburgh landmark um yeah
- 1:34Speaker 2: and he sent me a picture of it like in
- 1:36Speaker 2: a basement or a garage So he's got it.
- 1:39Speaker 3: It's like, hey, I got this. I don't know what
- 1:41Speaker 3: happens now, though.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Does he do this stuff just like for the Internet
- 1:45Speaker 2: and then does he give it back? Or is he
- 1:47Speaker 2: like keeping that Phantom Menace machine? Like, did anybody actually
- 1:52Speaker 2: call the cops? Because I think he committed a crime, right?
- 1:56Speaker 3: Like, is it in a basement in Pittsburgh someplace?
- 1:59Speaker 2: It's in a basement or a garage from when he
- 2:02Speaker 2: sent me the picture. I just don't know. But it's
- 2:06Speaker 2: he did it like. I don't know what else to say.
- 2:09Speaker 2: The guy said he was going to steal it, and
- 2:11Speaker 2: we were all like, no, you're not. And then he
- 2:13Speaker 2: just waited everybody out, and then he stole.
- 2:18Speaker 1: It.
- 2:19Speaker 2: It's almost impressive, other than I want the damn machine back,
- 2:23Speaker 2: because it's something that makes our city special.
- 2:25Speaker 3: I know, I know.
- 2:26Speaker 5: I know.
- 2:27Speaker 3: Like, it's hilarious. It's funny. But it's not.
- 2:30Speaker 2: I know, but we want it back, though, because it's
- 2:33Speaker 2: a special thing to us.
- 2:35Speaker 3: We don't want your cartoon one. Like, that one's cool, though.
- 2:39Speaker 3: I want that one. You proved your point, okay? Give
- 2:42Speaker 3: the damn machine back, right? Give it back.
- 2:44Speaker 2: So we'll keep you updated if we hear from the
- 2:46Speaker 2: guy again, or if we have any sort of inclination
- 2:52Speaker 2: of what he's going to do with it now. But yeah,
- 2:54Speaker 2: he really did it. The guy that planned to do it.
- 2:58Speaker 2: He went up on Mount Washington. Everybody must have been asleep. Firefighters,
- 3:03Speaker 2: where were you? Everybody on Mount Washington neighborhood watched.
- 3:06Speaker 3: I'm sure he's going to make a video of how
- 3:08Speaker 3: he did it. No, he is.
- 3:09Speaker 2: It's coming out today. It's coming out. It's coming out today.
- 3:12Speaker 2: I can't wait to see it and see how he
- 3:14Speaker 2: pulled it off and then see if he ever plans
- 3:17Speaker 2: on giving it back.
- 3:18Speaker 3: All right.
- 3:18Speaker 2: There's a lot to do on the show today. We
- 3:20Speaker 2: got a box in here. I haven't opened it yet.
- 3:22Speaker 2: It's a big box.
- 3:23Speaker 3: It's a big box. I know.
- 3:25Speaker 2: I don't know what's in it. It's pretty heavy. We
- 3:27Speaker 2: will open that next year. Bruno Mars tickets, your chance.
- 3:31Speaker 2: Saturday night's coming up soon. Bruno tickets around 7.30 and 9.30.
- 3:34Speaker 2: It's Mikey and Bobby.
- 3:35Speaker 1: 96.1.
- 3:35Speaker 6: Kids.
- 3:41Speaker 2: Okay, it's just a great start to the show here.
- 3:44Speaker 2: The first segment of our show, we don't know why. Listen,
- 3:49Speaker 2: I mean, we kind of do, but we don't. We
- 3:52Speaker 2: had engineering in here overnight, working on something with our studio.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Our company brought in a guy to update all our stuff. Yeah,
- 4:01Speaker 2: and our microphones had us pitched down for the first
- 4:04Speaker 2: segment of our show.
- 4:05Speaker 3: We did not know that. We were just in here
- 4:08Speaker 3: talking normal. It sounded normal to us.
- 4:10Speaker 2: And then Bob just goes, hey, there's a lot of
- 4:13Speaker 2: talkback messages already.
- 4:15Speaker 3: Okay, well, let's check in and see what's going on here.
- 4:18Speaker 7: Okay, you have to fix your mics or something because
- 4:21Speaker 7: your voices are really deep. It's f * * *
- 4:23Speaker 7: ing hilarious. Go back and listen to the beginning of
- 4:27Speaker 7: the show. Mikey, your voice is so deep.
- 4:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:31Speaker 7: Oh, my God, a Bob's voice deeper is even more hilarious.
- 4:35Speaker 7: Holy shit, this is f * * * ing hilarious.
- 4:37Speaker 7: I love you guys. Happy birthday, Bob.
- 4:38Speaker 2: Man, I hope, you know, we have a lot of
- 4:41Speaker 2: listeners who, you know, will use medical things to make
- 4:44Speaker 2: themselves feel better.
- 4:45Speaker 3: I hope nobody's high.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Like, for that first segment of the show, like, you
- 4:51Speaker 2: turn on the podcast, I hope nobody's high for that. Alright,
- 4:55Speaker 2: let's get to just one more real quick one here,
- 4:57Speaker 2: because I like this response too.
- 5:00Speaker 3: Why do you guys sound like you're in slow motion?
- 5:03Speaker 2: Why do you guys sound like you're in slow motion?
- 5:07Speaker 3: We don't know, really. I think we're fixed now, though. Hopefully.
- 5:10Speaker 2: I think we're back now, though, to regular voice. We
- 5:12Speaker 2: should have done a whole show in that voice. That
- 5:14Speaker 2: would have been hilarious.
- 5:15Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 5:16Speaker 3: Alright, well, I think we're back to normal voice now. Okay? Hello.
- 5:20Speaker 2: So, coming up next on the show, the box is
- 5:23Speaker 2: still sitting over there. We haven't even opened the box
- 5:25Speaker 2: you know what a treat we had to deal with
- 5:27Speaker 2: our voice changing we had to deal with the guy
- 5:29Speaker 2: stealing the damn phantom menace pepsi machine up on mount
- 5:32Speaker 2: washington all right we got a big box here we'll
- 5:34Speaker 2: open that up next and also our friends at c
- 5:37Speaker 2: harper unbelievable what they did for us yesterday. We will
- 5:42Speaker 2: also get to that coming up next. Two chances for
- 5:45Speaker 2: you to try to win some Bruno Mars tickets, 7.30
- 5:47Speaker 2: and 9.30.
- 5:48Speaker 3: Stick around. It's Mikey and Bob. 96.1 KISS. The Mikey
- 5:51Speaker 3: and Bob Podcast.
- 5:53Speaker 2: Mikey and Bob.
- 5:54Speaker 3: Oh, my goodness. You all right? That's rough right there.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Stream the Mikey and Bob Podcast on iHeartRadio or wherever
- 6:05Speaker 1: you get your podcasts.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Sad news yesterday with the passing of Dolly Parton, 80
- 6:12Speaker 2: years old. We will get to a tribute to Dolly
- 6:16Speaker 2: Parton out at Star Lake last night. We will get
- 6:19Speaker 2: to that coming up next here. It's Mikey and Bob
- 6:22Speaker 2: on 96.1 KISS.
- 6:23Speaker 3: Really weird.
- 6:23Speaker 2: We had an engineering guy that was in here yesterday
- 6:27Speaker 2: doing stuff to our studio. Apparently forgot to set something back.
- 6:30Speaker 2: So the start of our show, our voices were like
- 6:33Speaker 2: slowed down.
- 6:34Speaker 3: Do you even know we could do this with the equipment?
- 6:36Speaker 2: No, I had no clue. Like we sounded normal in here,
- 6:39Speaker 2: but like the start of the show.
- 6:41Speaker 3: We sort of sounded like this, you know, like it
- 6:44Speaker 3: was voice changing. Morning guys. Psycho Michael here. Just curious,
- 6:47Speaker 3: are both of you guys sick this morning or something?
- 6:49Speaker 2: Because while you're talking about the Pepsi machine, you both
- 6:51Speaker 2: have super deep, sexy, sultry voices, and I kind of
- 6:55Speaker 2: dig it. There is something a little sexy. It was
- 6:57Speaker 2: a little sexy, but we can't do a whole show
- 6:59Speaker 2: like that. That's too much sexy.
- 7:01Speaker 3: It really is. All right, first of all, let's talk
- 7:04Speaker 3: about our friends over at the C.
- 7:05Speaker 2: Harper Auto Group. Yesterday, there were two bags on our vehicles. C.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Harper Auto Group, big sponsor of the show now. They
- 7:12Speaker 2: sponsor our podcast. Good friends of the show, right?
- 7:15Speaker 8: Yep.
- 7:16Speaker 2: So we go out yesterday to our vehicles. I'm driving
- 7:18Speaker 2: my purple Jeep Gladiator. Bob's in his white Dodge Ram Laramie.
- 7:24Speaker 2: And there's bags on our cars. We open them up
- 7:28Speaker 2: and there's ducks in there. Of course, we know Jeep drivers,
- 7:31Speaker 2: they put ducks on their dashboard.
- 7:33Speaker 6: Oh, no.
- 7:34Speaker 2: See Harper made Mikey and Bob Jeep ducks. They're not
- 7:37Speaker 2: normal ducks. They're Mikey and Bob ducks. And they're so cool. Yeah.
- 7:40Speaker 2: They got our logo and see Harper logo on it. And, um,
- 7:45Speaker 2: I guess like mine would be like purple. It's a
- 7:48Speaker 2: purple dog.
- 7:48Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 7:49Speaker 2: And then Bob has a regular rubber ducky with a
- 7:51Speaker 2: cowboy hat on.
- 7:52Speaker 3: Unbelievable. See Harper Auto Group. I where have you been
- 7:56Speaker 3: all of our lives? We love you. Awesome. Love you. Awesome.
- 7:59Speaker 2: And we posted a picture up on our Mikey and
- 8:01Speaker 2: Bob Facebook page. If you'd like to see the Mikey
- 8:03Speaker 2: and Bob Jeep ducks from see Harper. Now the problem is, though, Bob, everyone,
- 8:08Speaker 2: even if they don't drive a Jeep, wants one. And
- 8:10Speaker 2: I don't know what to do because that's breaking the
- 8:13Speaker 2: Jeep rules, right? We should just only hand them to
- 8:15Speaker 2: people or see people with.
- 8:16Speaker 3: Jeeps, right? I don't know how this works.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Our ducks became the bounty for the top of the line,
- 8:23Speaker 2: top of the mountain for ducks you could receive from somebody. Yeah,
- 8:25Speaker 2: it's a special duck. It's a special duck. Now, are
- 8:27Speaker 2: you ready to open the mystery box that we got today?
- 8:30Speaker 3: I'm trying to get all this stuff out of the
- 8:32Speaker 3: way here, all right? I think so. I don't even
- 8:35Speaker 3: know who's it from. It's from Toilet T-Rex. Okay.
- 8:39Speaker 2: A wonderful listener named Gina. We call her Toilet T-Rex.
- 8:42Speaker 2: And let me just open this box. First of all,
- 8:44Speaker 2: there's a note with it, okay?
- 8:46Speaker 3: Uh-huh, yeah.
- 8:46Speaker 2: There's a note with it with an envelope. All right,
- 8:50Speaker 2: hold on one second. Now, the envelope has tiny people
- 8:54Speaker 2: in it. When I say tiny people, I'm talking about, like,
- 8:57Speaker 2: minuscule people.
- 8:58Speaker 3: This is weird. All right, there's, like, little tiny figures
- 9:01Speaker 3: in here.
- 9:01Speaker 2: What is.
- 9:02Speaker 3: Wait, are those like the size of rice almost? Yeah,
- 9:05Speaker 3: it's really.
- 9:05Speaker 2: I wanted to get you guys something to keep your
- 9:07Speaker 2: rides nice and shiny. Bob, you can keep your cowboy
- 9:11Speaker 2: hat nice and neat with your cowboy hat holder.
- 9:15Speaker 3: For a car.
- 9:16Speaker 9: Oh my god look at that what a gift there
- 9:19Speaker 9: you go what a gift from the toilet yep the
- 9:22Speaker 9: toilet t-rex sent you something to keep your cowboy hat
- 9:25Speaker 9: in your car uh and uh something to uh also
- 9:30Speaker 9: get delivered by friday oh there's more coming mikey you
- 9:35Speaker 9: get a bob duck.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Dude this cowboy hat mounter it mounts on like the
- 9:39Speaker 2: back of the seat oh that's sick And the hat
- 9:42Speaker 2: just lays in there on display.
- 9:43Speaker 3: Mikey, this is Bob as a duck, so he can
- 9:45Speaker 3: go with you everywhere. All right.
- 9:46Speaker 2: She made a cowboy hat duck with sunglasses, a donut,
- 9:51Speaker 2: and coffee.
- 9:51Speaker 3: So that's my Bob duck there. Bob, you've got a
- 9:55Speaker 3: duck here. It is an actual Jurassic Park duck. It's like...
- 10:00Speaker 3: a dino duck. Oh, I guess this would be mine
- 10:02Speaker 3: since you don't drive a Jeep, right? You can have it.
- 10:04Speaker 3: You can have it. Uh, let's see.
- 10:06Speaker 2: Yeah. And a toilet T-Rex duck. Take, uh, take them
- 10:09Speaker 2: and place them around. Uh, take the little people and
- 10:11Speaker 2: place them around your office.
- 10:13Speaker 3: Uh, okay. Bob's other gift. And look at this. Armor
- 10:17Speaker 3: All Care Kits for us.
- 10:18Speaker 9: Wow.
- 10:19Speaker 3: Look at that. Look at that. The glass and the
- 10:22Speaker 3: wipes and everything. There you go. There's your Armor All Kit.
- 10:25Speaker 3: Look at that, man. You know, toilet T-Rex. You're awesome.
- 10:27Speaker 3: Above and beyond.
- 10:28Speaker 9: All right.
- 10:29Speaker 3: So we got ducks.
- 10:30Speaker 9: We got mini people. We got Armor All stuff. And
- 10:33Speaker 9: Bob's got a cowboy. Ah, this box is so big.
- 10:36Speaker 3: You're just wrestling the box. All right, man.
- 10:38Speaker 2: Listen, our voices weren't the same to start the show.
- 10:41Speaker 2: It's been a weird show this morning.
- 10:42Speaker 3: We got prizes. This is very nice. We have our
- 10:45Speaker 3: own Jeep Ducks now from C. Harper. A lot going on.
- 10:48Speaker 3: All right.
- 10:49Speaker 2: It was obviously a sad day yesterday to learn of
- 10:51Speaker 2: the passing of the legend Dolly Parton. Kesha did a
- 10:55Speaker 2: tribute out at Star Lake. which she said something that
- 10:59Speaker 2: we had no clue about Dolly Parton. So we will
- 11:02Speaker 2: get to that coming up next year. Also, two chances
- 11:05Speaker 2: this morning for you to try to win Bruno Mars tickets.
- 11:07Speaker 2: That show is going to be massive on Saturday night.
- 11:09Speaker 2: It's sold out.
- 11:10Speaker 3: It's at Accra.
- 11:11Speaker 2: Sure. We're ending the summer with Bruno Mars, 730 and
- 11:14Speaker 2: 930 tickets for that. It's Mikey and Bob. Live your
- 11:23Speaker 2: life like Dolly Parton did. Everybody loved her. Do you
- 11:27Speaker 2: know how rare it is, especially in this day and age,
- 11:31Speaker 2: to be loved by everyone? It's nearly impossible. Super famous
- 11:36Speaker 2: and still? Loved by everyone. Loved by everyone. Everybody respects you.
- 11:41Speaker 2: Everybody loves you.
- 11:42Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah.
- 11:43Speaker 2: It's Mikey and Bob here on 96.1 KISS. Obviously, yesterday,
- 11:46Speaker 2: just incredibly sad news. That one hit, man. Just like
- 11:50Speaker 2: when you found it out, your heart just kind of
- 11:53Speaker 2: sank a little bit, you know?
- 11:54Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 11:55Speaker 2: Dolly Parton had been sort of sick for a little while,
- 11:59Speaker 2: but I guess people around her knew that she was
- 12:02Speaker 2: dealing with health issues, but didn't think that this was it.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Like they thought she was going to pull through. So
- 12:07Speaker 2: it was a shock to people that were close to her.
- 12:11Speaker 2: She was battling cancer, I guess, was also revealed. So,
- 12:16Speaker 2: I mean, she just she left such a legacy. She's
- 12:20Speaker 2: in like show business and music business for like six
- 12:23Speaker 2: decades now. Like, that longevity is just, it's unbelievable to
- 12:28Speaker 2: be that successful and famous and still be a good
- 12:33Speaker 2: person and still, like, Dolly Parton could pull up to
- 12:36Speaker 2: any country music award show, rip it up, you know?
- 12:39Speaker 3: Dude, Dolly would.
- 12:40Speaker 2: Then I learned she was given, like, college scholarships yesterday
- 12:43Speaker 2: that I'd ever do any... there's so much after somebody
- 12:46Speaker 2: passes that you learn about them and you're just like
- 12:48Speaker 2: wow yeah like the imagination library where she gives you
- 12:52Speaker 2: know free books to to kids um you know to
- 12:56Speaker 2: younger kids to help them with literacy and everything like
- 12:58Speaker 2: that like i saw uh yesterday mayor cory o'connor posted
- 13:02Speaker 2: like in the city of pittsburgh account posted about like
- 13:06Speaker 2: all the hundreds of thousands of books that kids have
- 13:09Speaker 2: gotten in our pittsburgh area just because of uh of
- 13:13Speaker 2: Dolly Parton and her imagination library.
- 13:16Speaker 3: It's awesome.
- 13:17Speaker 2: And then, you know, you start thinking about, you know, she,
- 13:22Speaker 2: when we were going through the COVID stuff, right. she
- 13:25Speaker 2: donated so much money to, uh, wasn't it like Vanderbilt?
- 13:29Speaker 2: I believe it was like a million dollars. She's had
- 13:32Speaker 2: ties to like the Vanderbilt medical for years, just donating money.
- 13:36Speaker 2: The Moderna vaccine that helped us get through COVID. And
- 13:39Speaker 2: now those, those, um, that, that research and those breakthroughs
- 13:45Speaker 2: are now being used in cancer breakthroughs that have been
- 13:48Speaker 2: happening recently, you know? So, um, It's just incredible what
- 13:52Speaker 2: she left behind, her legacy. It's so rare to be
- 13:58Speaker 2: loved by everybody, but from... people in the music industry,
- 14:03Speaker 2: to people in politics, to just everyday people like all
- 14:07Speaker 2: of us, just universally beloved, like a Mr.
- 14:11Speaker 3: Rogers-like character. Yeah, very much.
- 14:14Speaker 2: Where you're just like, don't got anything bad to say
- 14:16Speaker 2: about her at all. Last night, Kesha was out at
- 14:21Speaker 2: Star Lake, and she was doing her show and did
- 14:24Speaker 2: a little tribute to Dolly Parton here.
- 14:26Speaker 3: In honor of her incredible legacy and legacy. Her beautiful life.
- 14:32Speaker 10: I would like to sing the song that my mom
- 14:36Speaker 10: wrote for her.
- 14:39Speaker 3: It's on my album, Rainbow.
- 14:42Speaker 11: And the song is called, Old Flames Can't Hold a
- 14:45Speaker 11: Candle to You.
- 14:48Speaker 2: So now we came in this morning, we heard that
- 14:51Speaker 2: and we were just like, wait, did she say Kesha?
- 14:54Speaker 2: Kesha's mom wrote that? Was Kesha's mom a famous songwriter? No,
- 14:59Speaker 2: I mean, I looked it up and she's a singer, songwriter,
- 15:02Speaker 2: whatever musician. She co-wrote the song Old Flames Can't Hold
- 15:05Speaker 2: a Candle to You, which was famously recorded by Dolly Parton.
- 15:08Speaker 2: And then it just says she's written some songs with Kesha.
- 15:11Speaker 2: So it was like, I don't know, maybe just random
- 15:13Speaker 2: one off where Kesha's mom wrote a song with Dolly
- 15:16Speaker 2: Parton and Kesha.
- 15:17Speaker 3: I did that last night out at Star Lake as
- 15:19Speaker 3: a tribute.
- 15:20Speaker 2: That's cool. It affects everybody. Everybody loves Dolly Parton, and
- 15:24Speaker 2: it's sad. We all die eventually, but it's just, man,
- 15:28Speaker 2: why the good ones, though? They should live so long.
- 15:32Speaker 2: 80 years old is a full life, but, man, everybody was,
- 15:37Speaker 2: I think, got a gut punch yesterday when you learned
- 15:40Speaker 2: of the passing of Dolly Parton. Rest in peace, Dolly.
- 15:44Speaker 2: It's already been an interesting morning around here. When we
- 15:47Speaker 2: started the show, there was something wrong with our microphones
- 15:49Speaker 2: and we were like in slow motion. I can't really
- 15:52Speaker 2: even explain what was going on because I honestly don't
- 15:54Speaker 2: understand a lot of controls around here. But we had
- 15:58Speaker 2: heavy voices with thick voices.
- 16:01Speaker 3: Yeah, real thick.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Let's get to this talkback message real quick brought to

- 16:32Speaker 3: the start of our show.

- 16:36Speaker 3: It was weird.
- 16:37Speaker 2: We had no clue it was happening until we shut
- 16:39Speaker 2: the mics off and then everybody started calling us and

- 18:42Speaker 3: look that up like this is educational here.
- 18:44Speaker 2: Okay you have lobster news for us here bob lobsters
- 18:48Speaker 2: do pee out of their faces oh.
- 18:49Speaker 3: My god you you You dirty, dirty lobsters.
- 18:53Speaker 2: They have specialized openings around their eyes that release urine.
- 18:56Speaker 3: They use it for communication. It's not their eyes.
- 18:59Speaker 2: They don't pee out of their eyes, though. It's by
- 19:01Speaker 2: their eyes? Yeah, it's by their eyes. Yeah, they use
- 19:04Speaker 2: it for communication and mark their territory. And I guess
- 19:09Speaker 2: they use it for mating rituals as well.
- 19:11Speaker 4: Oh, my.
- 19:12Speaker 3: A little spice? A little nasty.
- 19:15Speaker 2: Good knowledge today if you learn anything from our show
- 19:19Speaker 2: today lobsters pee out of their face your chance at
- 19:25Speaker 2: sold out bruno mars tickets coming up this morning around
- 19:28Speaker 2: 7 30 and 9 30 you got to be listening
- 19:30Speaker 2: for the keywords to uh send in through the iheart

- 19:36Speaker 2: you to try to win those sold-out Bruno tickets this morning. 7.30,
- 19:40Speaker 2: your first chance coming up here on 96.1 KISS. It's
- 19:42Speaker 2: Mikey and Bob. Now, we started the show sort of
- 19:47Speaker 2: talking about the....
- 19:50Speaker 3: The Phantom Menace Star Wars Pepsi machine. Okay.
- 19:53Speaker 2: This thing's been around forever up on Mount Washington next
- 19:56Speaker 2: to the fire station. It's... It's a thing, you know,
- 20:00Speaker 2: it's like the Burger King that's a Burger King, but
- 20:02Speaker 2: not really a Burger King on the south side. You know,
- 20:04Speaker 2: it's these Pittsburgh landmarks that yinzers really know and love.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Visit Pittsburgh actually features it on their website. It's like
- 20:11Speaker 2: a place to visit. Yeah, it's just that people do
- 20:15Speaker 2: come from all around to see the Phantom Menace Pepsi
- 20:18Speaker 2: machine up on Mount Washington. And then, like, I don't know,
- 20:21Speaker 2: a couple months ago, there was this guy on Instagram
- 20:23Speaker 2: that likes to steal large things. He's got over a
- 20:26Speaker 2: million followers. It's what he does. And he said he
- 20:28Speaker 2: was going to steal the Pepsi machine. Then we started
- 20:30Speaker 2: talking about it on our show. It felt like the
- 20:32Speaker 2: city was just behind. No, we're going to stop this guy.
- 20:36Speaker 2: No chance he's stealing it. He stole it. He stole it.
- 20:40Speaker 2: He also replaced it. There is still a vending machine there,
- 20:44Speaker 2: but it looks like the Phantom Menace vending machine, but
- 20:46Speaker 2: it's all painted. So it's not like the original graphics.
- 20:49Speaker 2: Somebody painted the original graphics. Dude, he waited for all
- 20:53Speaker 2: of it to die down and, you know, it to
- 20:55Speaker 2: fade out of our mind.
- 20:56Speaker 3: Like, I didn't even remember it.
- 20:57Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 20:58Speaker 2: Like, I remembered it happened, but like, it was so
- 21:00Speaker 2: far out of my mind that he would ever come
- 21:02Speaker 2: back and try to actually steal it. Yeah. And then
- 21:05Speaker 2: he did it. He sent me a picture last night.
- 21:08Speaker 2: And he already deleted it, so I can't even get
- 21:10Speaker 2: back to the picture. But he sent me a picture
- 21:12Speaker 2: of it. It looked like it was in a garage
- 21:13Speaker 2: or a basement.
- 21:14Speaker 3: Hold on.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Let's get to our friend Mills on the Mount here.
- 21:16Speaker 2: Talkback messages brought to us by the Pavement Group.
- 21:19Speaker 3: It's Mills.
- 21:19Speaker 2: Oh, my God.
- 21:20Speaker 3: We have a crisis, guys.
- 21:21Speaker 6: Movers.
- 21:22Speaker 3: Holy shit. Okay.
- 21:23Speaker 13: I just got on Facebook and saw a post in
- 21:25Speaker 13: the Mount Washington Facebook group about the Phantom Menace Pepsi
- 21:31Speaker 13: vending machine that somebody stole it.
- 21:34Speaker 7: Yep.
- 21:35Speaker 13: They thought it was painted over, but it's a totally
- 21:37Speaker 13: different coin slot, different soda options.
- 21:40Speaker 3: Now, let me just ask a question.
- 21:42Speaker 2: Did did anybody above Mount Washington see the Phantom Menace
- 21:46Speaker 2: machine being painted?
- 21:48Speaker 3: I just throw a red flag like, hey, wait a minute.
- 21:51Speaker 3: That ain't right.
- 21:52Speaker 13: Someone posted a picture in the comments that they saw
- 21:55Speaker 13: some people working on it.
- 21:56Speaker 3: Okay, now you get the one working on it. Red flag.
- 22:00Speaker 3: Come on.
- 22:00Speaker 13: Posted a picture of that. They thought it was just
- 22:04Speaker 13: being painted over, but they said no, it was fully replaced.
- 22:06Speaker 2: Yeah, see, I see somebody painting over the Phantom Menace machine.
- 22:10Speaker 2: I say, no, no, that thing's been there forever. It's
- 22:12Speaker 2: like going up to the Mr. Rogers statue and just
- 22:15Speaker 2: painting it and being like.
- 22:16Speaker 3: Wow, it's just bronze. We should paint it. Don't give
- 22:17Speaker 3: this guy another idea.
- 22:19Speaker 1: Okay.
- 22:20Speaker 2: Isn't that machine maintained by the firefighters? So if it's
- 22:24Speaker 2: not the firefighters out there working on it, which I
- 22:26Speaker 2: don't know how much maintenance they have to do on it,
- 22:28Speaker 2: but like... Especially if you see it moving from its spot. Yeah.
- 22:33Speaker 3: I don't know. I mean, maybe he did it overnight,
- 22:36Speaker 3: but aren't there cameras out there?
- 22:37Speaker 13: And then someone put a screenshot of Braden Day's story
- 22:41Speaker 13: with a picture of people replacing it and said, job done.
- 22:44Speaker 13: The original is safe and sound and in my possession.
- 22:46Speaker 13: New video tomorrow.
- 22:48Speaker 2: Yeah, so that would be today. He's supposed to be
- 22:50Speaker 2: posting a video. He went out, bought another vending machine,
- 22:54Speaker 2: painted the exact thing over top of it that matches
- 22:57Speaker 2: the Phantom Menace cover and put it in its place
- 23:01Speaker 2: and left with the real one.
- 23:03Speaker 3: He stole a Pittsburgh landmark.
- 23:04Speaker 2: It's I mean, the one that he left is hilarious,
- 23:08Speaker 2: by the way. It is kind of funny. That one
- 23:10Speaker 2: needs to stay up there, but we need the real
- 23:13Speaker 2: one back also.
- 23:14Speaker 3: No, no.
- 23:15Speaker 2: Brayden Days needs to put the original back and then
- 23:18Speaker 2: give us the cartoonish Phantom Menace machine for the studio.
- 23:22Speaker 2: Put it in the studio? Put it in the studio.
- 23:24Speaker 2: I think that's how everybody leaves this happy, right? No
- 23:26Speaker 2: charges or anything like that. That's how we get out
- 23:29Speaker 2: of this. Yeah, that's how we get out of this.
- 23:31Speaker 2: You got to give us the cartoonish one now. that
- 23:33Speaker 2: you obviously created and put the other one back there.
- 23:36Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 23:37Speaker 2: I feel like I want to talk to some of
- 23:38Speaker 2: the firefighters up there and really get the story behind this. Like,
- 23:40Speaker 2: are they angry this morning that their machine has been
- 23:43Speaker 2: stolen or they're just like, ah, there's another one there anyway.
- 23:46Speaker 3: Well, whatever. No big deal. But they can't even get
- 23:50Speaker 3: into that one though.
- 23:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:51Speaker 2: I doubt they have the key and like making it functional.
- 23:54Speaker 3: Unless they're in on it. Oh man. What a goof.
- 23:59Speaker 3: Can't be right. All right. Well, we'll see.
- 24:01Speaker 2: I don't know how this plays out, but either way,
- 24:03Speaker 2: It's gone. The legendary Phantom Menace Pepsi machine. The dude
- 24:07Speaker 2: pulled it off.
- 24:08Speaker 3: He did it. He stole a Pittsburgh landmark, damn it.
- 24:12Speaker 3: He did it. He's dropping video today, he said.
- 24:15Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 24:16Speaker 6: All right.
- 24:16Speaker 3: Well, it's going to be a great video, probably, I'm guessing.
- 24:19Speaker 6: I know.
- 24:19Speaker 3: It's going to be great. I don't want it to be,
- 24:21Speaker 3: but it's going to be awesome.
- 24:22Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 24:22Speaker 3: Let's see how he pulled it off. All right.
- 24:24Speaker 2: Your chance at sold-out Bruno Mars tickets coming up around
- 24:26Speaker 2: 7.30 and 9.30 this morning.
- 24:28Speaker 3: It's Mikey and Bob. 96.1 KISS.
- 24:30Speaker 2: It is Mikey and Bob here on 96.1 KISS. Bob,
- 24:33Speaker 2: it's time to say something nice.
- 24:35Speaker 3: Here we go.
- 24:36Speaker 9: Ooh-wee!
- 24:39Speaker 3: Say something nice. Say something nice.
- 24:42Speaker 9: Hey, Moochie and Boochie.
- 24:43Speaker 3: It's Bill from Brunswick, Ohio.
- 24:44Speaker 6: Hey, Bill.
- 24:45Speaker 2: Hey, my daughter Nora and my son JJ just wanted
- 24:47Speaker 2: to say something real quick.
- 24:48Speaker 3: All right, Nora and JJ here, the kids. Say something nice.
- 24:52Speaker 3: Say something nice.
- 24:54Speaker 9: Bye, Moochie and Boochie.
- 24:56Speaker 3: She just calls Moochie and Boochie? I hope you have
- 24:58Speaker 3: a good rest of your week. Say bye.
- 25:01Speaker 6: Bye.
- 25:02Speaker 8: Bye, boys.
- 25:03Speaker 3: You have a good rest of your week.
- 25:05Speaker 2: That was absolutely beautiful getting the kids involved.
- 25:11Speaker 3: Say something nice. Say something nice.
- 25:14Speaker 10: I'm a little sad today, but I would like to
- 25:17Speaker 10: say something nice. Say something nice.
- 25:19Speaker 3: All right. Say something nice. Say something nice.
- 25:27Speaker 10: How lucky are we that we got to be alive
- 25:29Speaker 10: at the same time as Dolly Parton?
- 25:31Speaker 3: I mean, preach. Really? It is a gift. She was
- 25:35Speaker 3: one of one. Beloved by everyone.
- 25:38Speaker 10: That woman brought joy into the lives of so many people.
- 25:42Speaker 10: And now it's going to be a little darker without
- 25:43Speaker 10: her here. So today, I'm going to pull out my
- 25:46Speaker 10: VHS copy of Best Little... Whorehouse in Texas.
- 25:50Speaker 2: Okay, I thought you said you were going to pull
- 25:51Speaker 2: something else out for Dolly, and I was going to
- 25:53Speaker 2: have to put the pause on you there, but okay.
- 25:56Speaker 10: And show my kids how funny she was.
- 25:58Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 25:59Speaker 10: Have a great day, guys.
- 26:00Speaker 3: All right, yeah, Dolly Parton.
- 26:01Speaker 2: We all were, you know, it was a gut punch
- 26:04Speaker 2: yesterday learning about her passing. It sucks, but obviously she
- 26:09Speaker 2: was one of one, an absolute legend. All right.
- 26:11Speaker 3: Oh, wee! Say something nice. Say something nice.
- 26:17Speaker 4: Say something nice.
- 26:21Speaker 3: Say something nice. Say something nice. Say something nice.
- 26:30Speaker 9: Ooh-wee.
- 26:31Speaker 3: Say something nice.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Okay.
- 26:33Speaker 3: Say something nice.
- 26:33Speaker 2: All right.
- 26:34Speaker 4: Well, Mikey and Bob, I have something nice to say
- 26:36Speaker 4: to you. I know you guys hear it all the time,
- 26:39Speaker 4: how thankful we are for you guys, but seriously.
- 26:42Speaker 3: Yeah, no, this makes us uncomfortable. Go ahead. We're not
- 26:46Speaker 3: good at compliments.
- 26:47Speaker 4: I cannot thank you enough for your show every single day.
- 26:50Speaker 4: You make me laugh every single day, even when I
- 26:53Speaker 4: have to travel sometimes two hours to my job.
- 26:57Speaker 2: Geez.
- 26:57Speaker 3: Quit your job now.
- 26:58Speaker 4: But seriously, thank you so much for honestly getting us
- 27:02Speaker 4: through our work day. You make us laugh. Honestly, I
- 27:06Speaker 4: think most of us laugh until tears roll down our face.
- 27:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:10Speaker 4: And truly, you make our days go by quicker, our
- 27:15Speaker 4: drives go by quicker, and just our bad days are
- 27:19Speaker 4: turned around because of your joyous laughs and, honestly, your show.
- 27:24Speaker 4: So thank you.
- 27:25Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a really nice message you sent. Yeah, that
- 27:28Speaker 3: was great. Thank you. We really love you. Say something nice.
- 27:34Speaker 3: Say something nice.
- 27:36Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, there's enough bad going on in the world.
- 27:38Speaker 2: We just try to come in here for a few hours,
- 27:40Speaker 2: have some fun and some laughs. Two-hour commute's the stunning
- 27:43Speaker 2: thing there.
- 27:43Speaker 3: Yeah. You gotta find a new job. Specialty gas prices!
- 27:50Speaker 3: Gas prices! Gas prices!
- 27:57Speaker 2: Coach McCarthy was meowing yesterday about the Steelers quarterback.
- 28:01Speaker 3: What are they going to do? What's going on? They
- 28:04Speaker 3: keeping four?
- 28:04Speaker 2: Who's odd man out here? And also, sort of, who's
- 28:08Speaker 2: going to be playing? What's going to be going on
- 28:10Speaker 2: Thursday in Buffalo? We will get to McCarthy Meows coming
- 28:13Speaker 2: up next here.
- 28:14Speaker 3: It's Mikey and Bob.
- 28:20Speaker 2: If you miss any live show, get caught up with
- 28:22Speaker 2: the Mikey and Bob podcast every day on the free
- 28:24Speaker 2: iHeartRadio app brought to us by our friends at the C.
- 28:27Speaker 2: Harper Auto Group, who also, if you missed it earlier,
- 28:30Speaker 2: they made Mikey and Bob Jeep Ducks. We have them.
- 28:33Speaker 2: They're so great. I don't know how you get them.
- 28:35Speaker 2: I guess you just drive a Jeep and we put
- 28:37Speaker 2: it on your car. But yeah, we have Mikey and
- 28:39Speaker 2: Bob Jeep Ducks now from C.
- 28:41Speaker 6: Harper.
- 28:41Speaker 3: You can see it up on our Mikey and Bob
- 28:43Speaker 3: Facebook page.
- 28:46Speaker 2: By the way, Bob, yesterday there was a lot of
- 28:48Speaker 2: talk about the Steelers-Disney champion collaboration where every team, every
- 28:54Speaker 2: city got a Disney character, and we got Pete.
- 28:57Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah. The big cat-looking thing from Goofy. I
- 29:01Speaker 3: don't know. Let's get to our buddy George here. Hey,
- 29:03Speaker 3: what's going on, fellas?
- 29:04Speaker 14: George here, catching up on Tuesday morning's podcast still. Y'all
- 29:08Speaker 14: doing the Facebook comments about the Disney collaboration.
- 29:11Speaker 3: Dude, I'm laughing my ass off over here.
- 29:14Speaker 2: And I couldn't help but think, how in the, I'm
- 29:16Speaker 2: not allowed to say that on the radio, do you
- 29:19Speaker 2: clog a porta potty?
- 29:21Speaker 3: All right, y'all take it easy. It's possible.
- 29:24Speaker 2: It's possible, George. I don't need to get into it,
- 29:26Speaker 2: but you can absolutely clog a porta potty. A guy
- 29:29Speaker 2: that looks like Pete has done it before.
- 29:31Speaker 5: He has.
- 29:33Speaker 2: I bet Mike McCarthy's come close to clogging a porta
- 29:36Speaker 2: potty before in his time. Mike McCarthy yesterday was talking
- 29:39Speaker 2: about hey, listen, we're.
- 29:41Speaker 3: Getting down to roster cuts here.
- 29:42Speaker 2: It's got to be down to 53-man roster by Sunday
- 29:46Speaker 2: at 6 p.m.
- 29:47Speaker 3: Four quarterbacks? Yes. What are we doing?
- 29:49Speaker 2: Steelers got their last preseason game Thursday at Buffalo.
- 29:52Speaker 3: Mike McCarthy was asked about the quarterbacks.
- 29:54Speaker 12: We'll do the play time.
- 29:55Speaker 3: With the quarterbacks.
- 29:57Speaker 12: The team today but we definitely will focus on those
- 29:59Speaker 12: two young.
- 29:59Speaker 2: Guys all right so it's gonna be two young guys
- 30:01Speaker 2: again in buffalo it sounds like but then he was
- 30:03Speaker 2: asked about hey who's odd man out here are we
- 30:06Speaker 2: keeping four quarterbacks.
- 30:07Speaker 12: Yeah we talked uh extensively about the the importance of
- 30:12Speaker 12: the whole quarterback room and if you have four quarterbacks
- 30:15Speaker 12: in that room especially the quality that we have Currently,
- 30:18Speaker 12: I think it only enhances what the regular season would
- 30:21Speaker 12: look like. I'd have six quarterbacks in a building if
- 30:24Speaker 12: it worked. No, I think that would be very healthy
- 30:29Speaker 12: for the overall quarterback room with four quarterbacks.
- 30:32Speaker 2: All right, so he doesn't really– Did you say he'd
- 30:34Speaker 2: have six quarterbacks? Hey, listen, settle down, McCarthy, all right?
- 30:40Speaker 2: Four is almost too much.
- 30:41Speaker 3: I'll take six. I'll take six.
- 30:43Speaker 13: Six.
- 30:44Speaker 2: Mike McCarthy's just waiting for teams to cut their fourth
- 30:47Speaker 2: string quarterback so he can pick it up like, hey,
- 30:49Speaker 2: we're going to need them all.
- 30:50Speaker 3: We don't know what to do with four at this point.
- 30:53Speaker 2: Yeah, but I mean, it sounds like he said the
- 30:56Speaker 2: best quarterback room is with all four of them. Now,
- 30:59Speaker 2: I just don't think an NFL team is going to
- 31:02Speaker 2: go into the season with four quarterbacks. Then you got
- 31:04Speaker 2: to think, can we put one on practice squad? But
- 31:07Speaker 2: then they're open to being signed by any NFL team.
- 31:10Speaker 3: Right, right, right.
- 31:11Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 31:12Speaker 2: So there's a lot of NFL teams with crappy quarterback
- 31:14Speaker 2: situations like the backup or the third string.
- 31:17Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah. Risky.
- 31:19Speaker 2: Here was Mike McCarthy talking about the roster cuts that
- 31:21Speaker 2: are coming up. He doesn't sound like a fan of this.
- 31:23Speaker 12: I know for me, I'm not looking forward to the
- 31:25Speaker 12: next four days. Um, You know, I've been here with
- 31:29Speaker 12: these men since April. I see the time that they
- 31:32Speaker 12: put in. I'm not just talking about the CBA regulated time.
- 31:35Speaker 12: I'm talking about the weekends, you know, the early mornings.
- 31:39Speaker 12: You know, 68 players. I mean, that's what's going to
- 31:41Speaker 12: come out of this 90-man roster. You know, you want
- 31:44Speaker 12: to see everybody get an opportunity. I think it's important
- 31:47Speaker 12: for me to accomplish that here in Buffalo, and then
- 31:51Speaker 12: we'll see how it sorts out. But, yes, it's not–
- 31:55Speaker 12: It's not a great day when you're telling a guy that,
- 31:57Speaker 12: you know, he's not part of a 68. But I
- 32:00Speaker 12: think the most important thing is you be honest and
- 32:01Speaker 12: tell him where he is and what he's done and
- 32:03Speaker 12: what he needs to work on. And, you know, so
- 32:05Speaker 12: history holds true. We'll probably work together again, maybe again someday.
- 32:09Speaker 2: Yeah. So roster's got to get cut down. So this
- 32:12Speaker 2: is what's bad about the last preseason game is like
- 32:15Speaker 2: you mess up.
- 32:17Speaker 3: And you're on the line.
- 32:18Speaker 2: You know, and if you like fumble, drop a pass,
- 32:22Speaker 2: that might be the end of your NFL career.
- 32:25Speaker 3: Which is crazy, right?
- 32:26Speaker 2: If you're back returning kicks or a punt or something
- 32:29Speaker 2: and fumble or something messes up and... Well, not great. Well,
- 32:34Speaker 2: let's not talk about Caden Legion. We can't have him
- 32:37Speaker 2: get cut and not make the roster. He won our
- 32:39Speaker 2: Rico Bussey player of Steelers training camp. Bobby can't cut
- 32:42Speaker 2: that guy, right?
- 32:43Speaker 3: Rico Bussey won it one year, too.
- 32:45Speaker 2: Oh, my gosh. 53-man roster by Sunday at 6 p.m.
- 32:48Speaker 2: Steelers taking on the Bills in Buffalo tomorrow, which also
- 32:52Speaker 2: means Friday morning on our show. We send everybody into
- 32:55Speaker 2: the weekend with Steelers preseason Facebook comments.
- 32:58Speaker 7: 96.1 Kids.
- 32:59Speaker 3: The Mikey and Bob Podcast. Oh, my goodness. That was
- 33:04Speaker 3: coming out. Yeah, I couldn't stop it. It was just happening.
- 33:08Speaker 3: I'm disgusting.
- 33:09Speaker 2: I apologize to everybody who ever has had to listen
- 33:13Speaker 2: to our radio show.
- 33:14Speaker 1: Stream the Mikey and Bob podcast on iHeartRadio or wherever
- 33:18Speaker 1: you get your podcasts.
- 33:20Speaker 2: Hey, thank you for listening to our Mikey and Bob podcast.
- 33:23Speaker 3: Now, whatever you're listening on, we appreciate it.
- 33:27Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 33:28Speaker 3: Yep.
- 33:28Speaker 2: But if you're listening on our free iHeartRadio app, you
- 33:31Speaker 2: can hit that little talkback microphone.
- 33:34Speaker 3: Send us a message. You can send us a message about.

- 33:42Speaker 2: cover on the show.
- 33:43Speaker 3: Let us know where you're listening from, too. Oh, yeah.
- 33:45Speaker 3: That's fun, too, right? People in random places. Yeah.
- 33:49Speaker 2: I hit that little talk back microphone and you can
- 33:51Speaker 2: send us a message and maybe you'll make the show.
- 33:56Speaker 2: A chance for you to go to our iHeartRadio Music
- 33:59Speaker 2: Festival out in Vegas. Coming up in just a couple weeks.
- 34:02Speaker 2: See BTS, Cardi B, Zara Larson, Benson Boone, Snoop Dogg, Muse, Weezer,
- 34:09Speaker 2: Kenny Chesney, Lainey Wilson, Smashing Pumpkins, Goo Goo Dolls. It's
- 34:14Speaker 2: an incredible weekend of music out in Vegas. Your chance
- 34:17Speaker 2: to win a full trip and $ 1, 000 coming up around 9,
- 34:20Speaker 2: 10 here on 96.1 KISS.
- 34:20Speaker 3: Now....
- 34:24Speaker 2: I don't know what's going on with the Pepsi machine
- 34:26Speaker 2: up on Mount Washington, but I just saw the WPXI.com
- 34:32Speaker 2: story that they did about it.
- 34:34Speaker 3: They have no clue.
- 34:35Speaker 2: There's no mention of the guy who stole it or
- 34:39Speaker 2: anything like that.
- 34:39Speaker 3: No idea.
- 34:40Speaker 2: No, it's almost just like what happened and they're baffled
- 34:43Speaker 2: by it. We need the news to get on this
- 34:46Speaker 2: and the local authorities. Everybody knows he stole it. You know,
- 34:49Speaker 2: it's a guy with a million followers from L.A. who
- 34:51Speaker 2: told us months ago he was going to steal it
- 34:53Speaker 2: and stole it. At some point, he's going to post
- 34:55Speaker 2: a video, too, of him doing it.
- 34:57Speaker 8: Yes.
- 34:57Speaker 2: Today, he's he's supposed to post a video of how
- 35:00Speaker 2: he stole the Pepsi machine. Again, for people who don't
- 35:03Speaker 2: know here in Pittsburgh, we have a Phantom Menace Star
- 35:06Speaker 2: Wars Pepsi machine from like the late 90s, early 2000s
- 35:09Speaker 2: up on Mount Washington. It's been there forever. I think
- 35:13Speaker 2: the fire department runs it. Yeah, it's survived all these years.
- 35:17Speaker 2: It's a place where people go and get their picture
- 35:19Speaker 2: taken with it. Yeah, it's a whole thing. Then this
- 35:21Speaker 2: guy on the internet said he was going to steal
- 35:23Speaker 2: it because he steals a lot of big things that
- 35:24Speaker 2: can't be stolen. We were talking about it on our
- 35:27Speaker 2: show saying, no, I don't think so. There's enough people
- 35:30Speaker 2: up on Mount Washington that ain't going to let you steal.
- 35:32Speaker 2: He stole it, and he replaced it with another vending
- 35:35Speaker 2: machine that's painted like the Phantom Menace one. It's actually
- 35:37Speaker 2: kind of funny looking, but you remember our guy Chatty?
- 35:41Speaker 2: Who up on Mount Washington, he was going to protect it, right?
- 35:45Speaker 3: With his feet. The guy wrote Chatty a note. Left
- 35:50Speaker 3: it behind.
- 35:51Speaker 2: All right, so let's get to Chatty here again. This
- 35:53Speaker 2: is a note left behind by the guy who stole
- 35:56Speaker 2: the Phantom Menace. Pepsi machine.
- 35:59Speaker 3: That is not the original machine. He took the original machine.
- 36:04Speaker 12: It's a hand-drawn version of it, but he succeeded.
- 36:07Speaker 3: He took that machine away from me in Pittsburgh. These
- 36:10Speaker 3: guys could not save it. And he gets the crap
- 36:12Speaker 3: all over me, too.
- 36:14Speaker 7: Oh.
- 36:15Speaker 2: Chatty doesn't sound like he's in a good place right there,
- 36:17Speaker 2: you know? I mean, what can you do? The guy
- 36:19Speaker 2: did it.
- 36:20Speaker 3: Use the feet, Chatty.
- 36:22Speaker 2: The Braden guy who stole the machine also, he sent
- 36:26Speaker 2: me a picture yesterday.
- 36:28Speaker 3: There was no words. He just said, did you get
- 36:29Speaker 3: a picture at all?
- 36:30Speaker 1: No.
- 36:31Speaker 3: He sent me a picture. There's no words.
- 36:32Speaker 2: Probably just because, oh, these were the guys on the
- 36:34Speaker 2: radio talking about, you know, me stealing it. I love
- 36:37Speaker 2: that he's taking a little victory lap, like writing chatty
- 36:40Speaker 2: a handwritten note and sending you a picture of the
- 36:42Speaker 2: machine removed.
- 36:43Speaker 3: Not much I can do about it, you know. I
- 36:45Speaker 3: just wonder. Where was it?
- 36:46Speaker 2: Like a basement, you said? Yeah, it looked like a
- 36:48Speaker 2: basement or garage. No, not a storage unit. It looked
- 36:51Speaker 2: like a basement or a garage that it was in.
- 36:55Speaker 2: I wonder if it's already gone. Like, I don't know
- 36:57Speaker 2: how this works. Does he keep it now?
- 36:59Speaker 3: How did he transport it? Does he keep it?
- 37:03Speaker 2: Was it an inside job? Did somebody from Pittsburgh? Somebody
- 37:05Speaker 2: had to help him, right? Somebody had to help him.
- 37:07Speaker 3: No, I hope not.
- 37:09Speaker 2: I hope it's not a yinzer who turned on us
- 37:11Speaker 2: and is responsible for the removal of the... Listen, it's
- 37:15Speaker 2: a fun and everything like that, but now I'm past the, okay,
- 37:18Speaker 2: he stole it, he wins, he got away with it.
- 37:21Speaker 3: Do we get it back?
- 37:22Speaker 2: I want to see the video, and then I want
- 37:23Speaker 2: it back. Yeah, how does this work? Do we all
- 37:26Speaker 2: clap and go, yay, he can do it, he pulled
- 37:29Speaker 2: off the heist? Can we have it back now, though?
- 37:31Speaker 2: I want to see the video and then.
- 37:32Speaker 3: I want it back.
- 37:33Speaker 6: Yes.
- 37:34Speaker 2: All right.
- 37:34Speaker 3: So hopefully we get to see the video later today.
- 37:37Speaker 3: And hilarious. It's a pretty funny thing. It is funny.
- 37:41Speaker 3: He said he was going to steal it. He waited.
- 37:43Speaker 2: He waited till the attention was off him. And then
- 37:45Speaker 2: he stole the damn. legendary Phantom menace machine up on
- 37:48Speaker 2: Mount Washington.
- 37:49Speaker 3: You're living up on Mount Washington too. What are you
- 37:51Speaker 3: doing on your watch? It's on your watch. What are
- 37:53Speaker 3: you doing?
- 37:53Speaker 2: The Facebook group said there are people like working on
- 37:55Speaker 2: the machine. That should have been the red flag right there.
- 37:58Speaker 3: How do you let that thing walk away? I don't know, man.
- 38:00Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 38:02Speaker 2: Obviously a lot of people are sad, uh, today about
- 38:04Speaker 2: the passing of Dolly Parton, um, two Titans, Beyonce, who
- 38:10Speaker 2: obviously worked with Dolly Parton before and Taylor Swift, who
- 38:13Speaker 2: has connections with Dolly Parton. They both, uh, released statements
- 38:17Speaker 2: about the passing of Dolly. We'll get to those coming
- 38:20Speaker 2: up next. And also, your chance at Bruno Mars. Sold
- 38:23Speaker 2: out tickets for Saturday around 9.30 this morning here on
- 38:27Speaker 2: 96.1 KISS.
- 38:27Speaker 3: It's Mikey and Bob.
- 38:29Speaker 2: A lot of us obviously sad about the passing of
- 38:34Speaker 2: the country music legend, just an American icon, Dolly Parton,
- 38:39Speaker 2: dead at the age of 80. She was dealing with
- 38:41Speaker 2: health issues. I think she had some cancer. And just
- 38:45Speaker 2: the philanthropy that she did over her lifetime is just
- 38:50Speaker 2: incredible from the imaginary imagination library, you know, that provided
- 38:55Speaker 2: so many kids with with books to the the the
- 38:59Speaker 2: breakthrough that her research funded with the covid vaccine and Moderna,
- 39:04Speaker 2: which is now leading to cancer breakthroughs. It's incredible what
- 39:07Speaker 2: this one person did. She's what I'd hope every, you know,
- 39:11Speaker 2: rich person would. aspire to be by giving back that way.
- 39:14Speaker 6: Yes.
- 39:16Speaker 3: There's a lot of people, obviously, she's worked with over
- 39:18Speaker 3: the years.
- 39:20Speaker 2: She has worked with Taylor Swift before. Not only that,
- 39:24Speaker 2: but Dolly Parton said that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey
- 39:27Speaker 2: made a $ 2 million donation to her imagination library in
- 39:32Speaker 2: the past, which is just awesome. Taylor Swift putting out
- 39:35Speaker 2: a statement saying a world without Dolly doesn't feel possible,
- 39:38Speaker 2: real or right. But because of the eternally generous way
- 39:43Speaker 2: she spent her time on Earth and the countless lives
- 39:45Speaker 2: she changed for the better, her legacy will be an
- 39:48Speaker 2: everlasting one. She said, along with her other fans, she's
- 39:51Speaker 2: so grateful for all that she did, for the melodies,
- 39:54Speaker 2: the lyrics she wrote that thawed even the coldest hearts.
- 39:58Speaker 2: Taylor Swift went on to say for the millions of
- 40:00Speaker 2: books she provided children all over the world so that
- 40:02Speaker 2: they might fall in love with the stories the way
- 40:04Speaker 2: she did. For the tightrope she walked so that young
- 40:06Speaker 2: girls like me could grow up dreaming of joining the circus, too.
- 40:10Speaker 2: And Taylor Swift said, Dolly, I'll think of you each
- 40:13Speaker 2: step of the way. And Taylor and Travis have donated, again,
- 40:16Speaker 2: $ 2 million to the Imagination Library in the past. And
- 40:21Speaker 2: she worked with Beyonce, too, on the Cowboy Carter album.
- 40:25Speaker 2: I mean, she's in a couple of the songs, but
- 40:27Speaker 2: that song, Tyrant, it starts with Dolly Parton.
- 40:31Speaker 3: Cowboy Carter. Time to strike a match and light up
- 40:36Speaker 3: this juke joint.
- 40:37Speaker 14: One, one, one by one.
- 40:39Speaker 2: I mean, it's a whole song with Beyonce and Dolly
- 40:42Speaker 2: Parton there. on her Cowboy Carter album. And, you know,
- 40:46Speaker 2: I know during that time it was like, oh, Beyonce's
- 40:49Speaker 2: doing a country album? Yo, you throw Dolly on there,
- 40:51Speaker 2: you got the only co-sign you need, right? Yep, Dolly co-sign.
- 40:54Speaker 2: So Beyonce posted a statement on the passing of Dolly
- 41:00Speaker 2: Parton just saying she's honored to have the privilege to
- 41:02Speaker 2: work with her and she'll treasure it forever. She said, Dolly,
- 41:06Speaker 2: you were the barometer. This is from Beyonce, the North Star,
- 41:10Speaker 2: bold and brilliant, talented and tenacious. You taught so many
- 41:13Speaker 2: lessons on how to be uniquely oneself. I'm grateful for
- 41:17Speaker 2: your art, your heart, your generosity, your humor, your entrepreneurship.
- 41:21Speaker 3: I'm honored.
- 41:22Speaker 2: I had the privilege to work with you. I'll treasure
- 41:24Speaker 2: it forever. Thank you for your profound impact on the world.
- 41:27Speaker 2: You are an angel who has made this world a
- 41:29Speaker 2: happier place because of your joyful art. You are truly
- 41:33Speaker 2: one of one. rest peacefully. That is the statement for Beyonce, man. Listen, you,
- 41:40Speaker 2: you pass. And then right after Beyonce and Taylor Swift,
- 41:44Speaker 2: like you made an impact. Like those are two of
- 41:47Speaker 2: the biggest, most famous people in the world.
- 41:49Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 41:50Speaker 2: And you know, just releasing statements about how great of
- 41:53Speaker 2: a person I, this, this one affected everybody, you know,
- 41:58Speaker 2: because like we were saying earlier, I think so many
- 42:02Speaker 2: people know her from different things, too. She was a
- 42:04Speaker 2: huge movie star, a comedy movie star. She was hilarious.
- 42:10Speaker 3: She was a singer.
- 42:10Speaker 2: And even if you didn't like her music or wasn't
- 42:13Speaker 2: a big fan of her music, I don't think anybody
- 42:15Speaker 2: hated it, but you knew her from the movies. And
- 42:17Speaker 2: then later on, at least these past 10, 15, 20 years,
- 42:21Speaker 2: she was known for giving so much.
- 42:23Speaker 3: Yeah, philanthropy. And yeah, that's it.
- 42:25Speaker 2: So obviously it's been some tough news for a lot
- 42:28Speaker 2: of people to take. 80 years old, she was battling
- 42:31Speaker 2: with some cancer. From what it sounds like, it was unexpected.
- 42:35Speaker 2: Her family knew she was sick, but they didn't think
- 42:37Speaker 2: it was that bad. I saw stories coming out, you know,
- 42:41Speaker 2: over the past year or so of her missing things
- 42:43Speaker 2: here and there. But then she would pop up again
- 42:45Speaker 2: at another place and be like, oh, Dolly's doing all right. Yeah,
- 42:48Speaker 2: I remember she took some time off, but then, like,
- 42:50Speaker 2: came back. And I remember she posted a video that's
- 42:53Speaker 2: just like, I'm here. I ain't going nowhere.
- 42:56Speaker 3: You remember that? It was like a few months back.
- 42:58Speaker 2: And you're just like, oh, Dolly must not be doing
- 43:01Speaker 2: too good. There were, like, rumors.
- 43:02Speaker 3: And then you saw her, and you're just like, ah,
- 43:05Speaker 3: there she is. There she is.
- 43:08Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a tough one for a lot of people
- 43:09Speaker 2: to take. Rest in peace to the legend, Dolly Parton.
- 43:15Speaker 2: Another shot at Bruno Mars tickets around 930 here on
- 43:18Speaker 2: 96.1 Kiss.
- 43:18Speaker 3: It's Mikey and Bob.
- 43:20Speaker 2: Also, send your say something nice talkback messages in because
- 43:24Speaker 2: this week on the show, we're randomly giving people $ 100
- 43:27Speaker 2: get go gift cards. You know, maybe you're making a
- 43:30Speaker 2: final summer trip. You want to fuel up, get some
- 43:33Speaker 2: snacks and everything. Get goes the place for that. Great
- 43:36Speaker 2: supporters of the show. So if you send a say
- 43:38Speaker 2: something nice message this week, you're qualified for a $ 100
- 43:41Speaker 2: gift Get-go gift card. All right, let's get to this
- 43:44Speaker 2: talkback message brought to us by One Team Media.
- 43:46Speaker 13: Hello, this is Jess.
- 43:47Speaker 9: Hey.
- 43:48Speaker 11: So you guys playing Pittsburgh Steelers time last week triggered
- 43:52Speaker 11: a core.
- 43:53Speaker 2: Memory in me.
- 43:54Speaker 3: Hell yeah.
- 43:55Speaker 11: I think I left a message about how I started
- 43:58Speaker 11: listening to you guys on my middle school bus in 2005,
- 44:01Speaker 11: and listening to that made me think of Super Bowl XL.
- 44:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 44:06Speaker 11: I think you guys used to also sing about Bill
- 44:08Speaker 11: Cowher's mustache, too.
- 44:11Speaker 3: And I loved it. All right.
- 44:12Speaker 2: There's a nostalgia feel to the song we made. Yeah,
- 44:16Speaker 2: that was like Super Bowl 40 time. Yeah, Pittsburgh Steeler time. Now,
- 44:19Speaker 2: our buddy, DJ Bonix, Wiz Khalifa's DJ, he asked us
- 44:23Speaker 2: for all the vocals and everything for Pittsburgh Steeler time.
- 44:28Speaker 2: He's not done with this yet, but he's cooking up something.
- 44:30Speaker 2: He's cooking up like a version of Pittsburgh Steeler Time
- 44:33Speaker 2: for people to play at tailgates.
- 44:34Speaker 3: That's it, right? That's it around with it, yep. You know,
- 44:49Speaker 3: there's not many lyrics. Pittsburgh Steelers. It makes you feel something.
- 44:52Speaker 3: It does.
- 44:54Speaker 2: It does make you feel right back.
- 44:57Speaker 3: All right.
- 44:57Speaker 2: Steelers, of course, got their final preseason game in Buffalo tomorrow,
- 45:01Speaker 2: which means we'll read Steelers Facebook comments Friday morning on
- 45:04Speaker 2: the show. Let's get to Ben Roethlisberger's basement, though. That's
- 45:08Speaker 2: where he does his. His his podcast. Yeah. Football and podcast.
- 45:13Speaker 2: You know, Ben always says something. It feels like every
- 45:16Speaker 2: week on his podcast, he'll say something that's worth hearing
- 45:19Speaker 2: for Steelers fans. Of course, he was asked about the
- 45:22Speaker 2: Steelers quarterback situation. Got four of them. We know Aaron
- 45:26Speaker 2: Rodgers is a starter. We know Mason Rudolph's.
- 45:28Speaker 3: There in the mix. And then he got the two
- 45:30Speaker 3: young guys. We'll hire. He's big Ben. What does big
- 45:33Speaker 3: Ben think? I know. Right. Well, let's get to it.
- 45:36Speaker 15: You know, in my opinion, again, without breaking down the film,
- 45:39Speaker 15: without being in the meeting room, knowing who made mistakes,
- 45:41Speaker 15: who had the Emmys, you know, did he just from
- 45:43Speaker 15: watching the TV topics, right?
- 45:44Speaker 2: I love how Ben does this. He goes in my opinion.
- 45:46Speaker 2: And then you think a bold opinions about to happen.
- 45:48Speaker 2: And then he goes, but just know that I only
- 45:52Speaker 2: watch it on TV like you, so I don't have
- 45:54Speaker 2: the game film, so I might be wrong.
- 45:56Speaker 15: Just because someone throws an interception or a touchdown doesn't
- 45:59Speaker 15: mean they made the right decision.
- 46:00Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure that when a quarterback throws a touchdown,
- 46:03Speaker 2: it feels like it's the right decision.
- 46:05Speaker 3: It feels right.
- 46:06Speaker 2: When a quarterback throws an interception, it It feels like
- 46:09Speaker 2: that was the wrong decision.
- 46:10Speaker 3: Maybe he's going someplace. Okay, all right, all right. You
- 46:13Speaker 3: got lucky. The ball should have went over here. Right?
- 46:15Speaker 2: Okay, all right. Lucky touchdowns? Listen, Ben never got lucky. No, no.
- 46:22Speaker 2: Ben never scrambled in the pocket and then threw it up.
- 46:25Speaker 6: Never.
- 46:26Speaker 2: He always knew it. From just watching the game. Just
- 46:29Speaker 2: like everybody else.
- 46:30Speaker 15: I thought Will's game in week one was a little
- 46:33Speaker 15: bit better than Drew's.
- 46:34Speaker 2: Wait, didn't Drew Aller have the game? in the first
- 46:37Speaker 2: preseason game where he threw for two touchdowns and ran
- 46:40Speaker 2: for one. He had the game so much that when
- 46:42Speaker 2: we were doing Facebook comments, people were calling him.
- 46:46Speaker 3: Yes. Oh, we got the next big bang.
- 46:48Speaker 2: So then Ben in his next podcast goes, will Howard
- 46:52Speaker 2: had a better game than drew Aller in week one.
- 46:55Speaker 3: Ben didn't like this week. I would say that drew
- 47:03Speaker 3: a little bit better of a game okay so.
- 47:05Speaker 2: He said will the first game in his second game
- 47:09Speaker 2: it was it was drew over over will hard again
- 47:12Speaker 2: this is uh ben roethlisberger on his football and podcast
- 47:15Speaker 2: talking about the steelers quarterback situation.
- 47:17Speaker 15: There there it's too close to call right it's a
- 47:20Speaker 15: neck and neck yeah so that's why i want to
- 47:21Speaker 15: see this this week yep that being said you know
- 47:24Speaker 15: someone asked let's let's throw this out there what if
- 47:27Speaker 15: drew goes out and plays really well with with The.
- 47:29Speaker 3: Ones or twos. Well, if he does that, he's the
- 47:31Speaker 3: next big Ben.
- 47:32Speaker 15: And Will comes in in the second half with the
- 47:35Speaker 15: twos and threes, and he lights it up.
- 47:38Speaker 3: Who had the better game? Oh, my gosh. Who's the
- 47:40Speaker 3: next big Ben then? I don't know.
- 47:42Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 47:42Speaker 15: I would, again, if I'm a coach or GM, I'm
- 47:45Speaker 15: doing everything I can to keep both of them.
- 47:47Speaker 3: All right.
- 47:47Speaker 2: So Ben says if he's in charge, he's keeping both
- 47:51Speaker 2: of them. So we're keeping four? I don't know, though,
- 47:53Speaker 2: because then what happens with Mason Rudolph? I don't think
- 47:55Speaker 2: you put either one on practice squad because I think
- 47:57Speaker 2: someone will scoop him up. All right, so that's Ben saying,
- 47:59Speaker 2: got to keep both the young guys. No practice squad
- 48:02Speaker 2: because somebody will take Drew Allard.
- 48:04Speaker 3: Somebody will take Will Hart. Do you keep four, Ben?
- 48:08Speaker 15: So I would say that you have an option of
- 48:10Speaker 15: either keeping all four or you try and put Mason
- 48:12Speaker 15: on practice squad.
- 48:13Speaker 3: Dude, it's always... Yo, what Mason Rudolph do to this guy?
- 48:18Speaker 3: It's always Mason. He hates Mason Rudolph. They do not
- 48:22Speaker 3: like each other. They do not like each other at all.
- 48:26Speaker 3: Why do you hate Mason Rudolph?
- 48:28Speaker 2: No need to hate him he's not the next big
- 48:30Speaker 2: ben last week mason even kind of threw that shot
- 48:33Speaker 2: of just like remember he was just like oh yeah
- 48:36Speaker 2: the way things are now with these young quarterbacks i
- 48:39Speaker 2: wish it was like that yeah that's like me and
- 48:42Speaker 2: aaron and mccarthy are pouring into these young guys i
- 48:45Speaker 2: wish it was.
- 48:46Speaker 3: Like that for me but it wasn't.
- 48:48Speaker 2: All right so this is batty's get back just telling
- 48:50Speaker 2: oh yeah dude how about practice squad get your ass
- 48:53Speaker 2: to the practice squad mason.
- 48:55Speaker 3: Rudolph Nice job, Ben. I love that he knows how
- 48:59Speaker 3: to say the thing, man.
- 49:00Speaker 2: This is exactly the Ben Roethlisberger we knew we were
- 49:03Speaker 2: going to get when he said he was going to
- 49:04Speaker 2: start doing a podcast.
- 49:05Speaker 3: He does not want another Big Ben, though. No, don't
- 49:08Speaker 3: even say it. That Drew Aller game. Don't say it.
- 49:11Speaker 2: Will Hart actually played better than him.
- 49:14Speaker 3: We can't have the next Big Ben.
- 49:17Speaker 2: We might need to send a text. over to our
- 49:21Speaker 2: buddy Rob Fisher over at Edgar Snyder and Associates. I
- 49:25Speaker 2: think we have a legal question that we're about to
- 49:27Speaker 2: bring up on the show here. It's Mikey and Bob
- 49:30Speaker 2: on 96.1 KISS. Now, this morning we have been talking about, again,
- 49:35Speaker 2: the damn... Yeah, all right, Bob. Yeah.
- 49:38Speaker 3: It's upsetting, right?
- 49:40Speaker 2: The Phantom Menace Pepsi machine that's been a staple since
- 49:43Speaker 2: like 1999 up on Mount Washington next to the fire
- 49:46Speaker 2: department up there. This guy stole it, right? And he
- 49:50Speaker 2: replaced it with another vending machine that's painted like the
- 49:54Speaker 2: Phantom Menace machine, right? This has been a thing that's
- 49:56Speaker 2: been going on for a couple months with this guy.
- 49:58Speaker 2: He said he was going to steal it and then
- 49:59Speaker 2: he stole it.
- 49:59Speaker 3: He's not from here. He's from like LA.
- 50:01Speaker 2: He's got a million followers on Instagram. He likes to
- 50:03Speaker 2: steal things. Stole the vending machine. Bob just says to
- 50:07Speaker 2: me off the air, he goes, What if we stole his?
- 50:13Speaker 2: And I looked at him and I said, that's I
- 50:16Speaker 2: didn't consider that. Like, I was just looking at a
- 50:19Speaker 2: picture of it sitting there. Yeah, it's just on the sidewalk.
- 50:24Speaker 3: Uh huh. Like, it's not it's obviously not the machine.
- 50:27Speaker 12: It's.
- 50:30Speaker 3: It's not the original one. It's his.
- 50:32Speaker 2: He bought one and painted it and put it in
- 50:35Speaker 2: place of the original machine. It's like leaving garbage on
- 50:38Speaker 2: the side of the road. That's not the one. It's discarded.
- 50:42Speaker 3: To me, that belongs to no one. It's not the one.
- 50:46Speaker 2: I'm looking at a picture of this thing going... Oh,
- 50:49Speaker 2: you know, it's fun for him to make the video
- 50:50Speaker 2: and say, ooh, I stole it, I stole it. What
- 50:52Speaker 2: if we just go steal the one that he put
- 50:54Speaker 2: up there and replaced it with?
- 50:55Speaker 3: Bring it in the studio here? Yeah, yeah. I don't know. Legally,
- 51:00Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 51:01Speaker 2: And we probably shouldn't be talking about this on the
- 51:03Speaker 2: show because I think it's a crime.
- 51:06Speaker 3: Maybe? I don't know, though. Is it a crime or
- 51:09Speaker 3: is it trash? Yeah, I mean.
- 51:14Speaker 2: fire station there that was theirs that they took i
- 51:18Speaker 2: mean this guy stole from first responders by the way
- 51:22Speaker 2: you know pepsi donated like ten thousand dollars in a
- 51:24Speaker 2: year supply of pop like years ago to the fire
- 51:27Speaker 2: station there too like.
- 51:29Speaker 3: It's more than just a vending machine man.
- 51:32Speaker 2: Part of the city all right what do you want
- 51:34Speaker 2: to do after the show go steal his i mean
- 51:37Speaker 2: listen You got a nice, you got a nice truck
- 51:42Speaker 2: where we could put it in that Dodge Ram 1500
- 51:45Speaker 2: Laramie from C Harper Auto Group, Bob, a sponsored heist.
- 51:50Speaker 3: Like, I've never tried to lift a vending machine before.
- 51:52Speaker 2: I don't think me and you can lift a vending machine.
- 51:54Speaker 2: I think we're going to need some help here. There
- 51:56Speaker 2: are some firefighters right there, though. Well, that's true.
- 51:59Speaker 3: Also.
- 52:00Speaker 2: And if they want us to just remove the junk
- 52:02Speaker 2: that's been left in front of their place... Yeah, that's...
- 52:04Speaker 2: Any firefighters up on Mount Washington, give us a message.
- 52:07Speaker 2: We don't have to play it on air. Let us
- 52:09Speaker 2: know if there's something that's really going on, because... Like,
- 52:12Speaker 2: if this guy's cute plan was to steal it, make
- 52:14Speaker 2: the video, drop the video, and then eventually replace it
- 52:18Speaker 2: and take his back.
- 52:19Speaker 3: Yeah, that's good. It'd be a shame if we stole his.
- 52:22Speaker 2: That would be. It'd be a shame if we stole his.
- 52:24Speaker 2: That'd be a real shame. Yeah, we can't do that.
- 52:26Speaker 2: Stealing is bad, right? Well, it's not stealing. It's just
- 52:31Speaker 2: junk out there nobody wants. It's just junk. I mean,
- 52:33Speaker 2: that's not the firefighter's job. I'm glad we talked about this.
- 52:37Speaker 2: I would feel more comfortable talking to somebody over at Edgar.
- 52:41Speaker 3: Snyder and Associated.
- 52:43Speaker 2: Me and Bob are thinking about committing a crime, possibly
- 52:47Speaker 2: after the show.
- 52:48Speaker 3: Yinzer's 11 may need to unite here. Oh, man. I
- 52:51Speaker 3: need to get a crew. Oh, man. Watch out.
- 52:55Speaker 9: We've been preparing for this for years. And now it's
- 53:00Speaker 9: finally our time to pull off a heist.
- 53:02Speaker 3: Raccoon Tim, the getaway driver. Watch out! All right.
- 53:07Speaker 2: Your chance at a full trip to Vegas for our

- 54:01Speaker 1: Hey!
- 54:03Speaker 2: Say something nice. Say something nice. All right, let's bring
- 54:06Speaker 2: some positivity to the show here.
- 54:08Speaker 3: Hi, guys.
- 54:09Speaker 11: This is Ms.
- 54:10Speaker 8: Coach Putney from Tampa. And I want to say something nice.

- 54:40Speaker 3: It's all happening. All right, let's get to it. Ooh-wee-oh!
- 54:45Speaker 3: Say something nice. Say something nice. It's our friend Aunt Kaka.
- 54:50Speaker 4: Hi, boys.
- 54:51Speaker 3: It's Aunt Kaka. Oh, no.
- 54:54Speaker 9: I'm sure you can hear that I'm crying, but we
- 54:58Speaker 9: just had to put my bulldog Dudley down.
- 55:01Speaker 6: Oh, Jesus.
- 55:02Speaker 3: And I'm really sad. Oh, Kaka.
- 55:04Speaker 7: But I just wanted to do.
- 55:09Speaker 10: Say something nice.
- 55:11Speaker 7: Say something nice to.
- 55:14Speaker 2: All of the folks that were at Hearts Run Vet Hospital. Hey,
- 55:18Speaker 2: Hearts Run Vets Hospital, thank you. Everybody over there for
- 55:22Speaker 2: taking care of Anacaka.
- 55:25Speaker 4: They are always really good with our fur babies.
- 55:30Speaker 2: But they were exceptionally great today.
- 55:34Speaker 4: You know, they helped make.
- 55:38Speaker 9: one of the hardest days of our lives a little easier.
- 55:43Speaker 7: So I really just wanted to thank them.
- 55:47Speaker 2: All right.
- 55:47Speaker 9: Love you.
- 55:48Speaker 2: Man, Anacaka's going through it. I mean, this is, I
- 55:52Speaker 2: don't know what this is. This is a comfortable place
- 55:55Speaker 2: for people, you know? Yeah. Um, that's what we try
- 55:58Speaker 2: to do. We just try to make every day a
- 56:00Speaker 2: little bit better for everybody. And, uh, Aunt Kaka, I'm
- 56:03Speaker 2: sure you're going to be getting a lot of messages now.
- 56:06Speaker 2: I mean, just like our guy Weed Nico did when
- 56:07Speaker 2: his dog died a couple weeks ago. He lives across
- 56:10Speaker 2: the country, and people were feeling for him, too. Aunt Kaka,
- 56:15Speaker 2: we're thinking about you and your family. Never easy to
- 56:19Speaker 2: lose a pet. We're hoping you have some bright days
- 56:24Speaker 2: and a lot of memories to look back on, too.
- 56:34Speaker 3: Hey, shout out to side boobs. Yeah, yeah. You're with
- 56:40Speaker 3: me on that? I don't know what you're talking about,
- 56:41Speaker 3: but I salute side boobs. Yeah, that's it. I got
- 56:46Speaker 3: nothing more than that. You're doing great, side boobs. Yeah,
- 56:49Speaker 3: have a day, side boobs. Everybody, too.
- 56:52Speaker 2: Men, women, it don't matter. If you got side boob
- 56:56Speaker 2: going on, hell yeah. Summertime side boobs, man. Good job, everybody.
- 57:01Speaker 3: God bless them. With side boobs out there.

- 57:06Speaker 2: got a chance for you to win $ 1, 000 in a
- 57:08Speaker 2: full trip to Vegas. In a couple weeks, we'll send
- 57:11Speaker 2: you out there for our iHeartRadio Music Festival. That is
- 57:13Speaker 2: coming up next. Right now, though, Bob, let's get to
- 57:16Speaker 2: another talkback message. All you got to do is download.
- 57:18Speaker 3: Our free iHeartRadio app.
- 57:20Speaker 2: Easiest way to get in touch with the show, especially
- 57:22Speaker 2: if you're a podcast listener.
- 57:24Speaker 3: Because, you know, we're doing the live radio show.
- 57:26Speaker 2: Of course, you can just react to whatever's happening on
- 57:28Speaker 2: the show. But if you're a podcast listener, you know,
- 57:31Speaker 2: you can... Send us messages about the stuff on today's
- 57:34Speaker 2: show later today.
- 57:35Speaker 6: Right, right.
- 57:36Speaker 2: We get it tomorrow. It's a whole thing. So let's
- 57:39Speaker 2: get to this talkback message brought to us by One
- 57:41Speaker 2: Team Media.
- 57:41Speaker 4: I just left a Dairy Queen and a guy came
- 57:43Speaker 4: in and I was waiting for my food.
- 57:45Speaker 3: And he comes up to the young girl at the
- 57:47Speaker 3: counter and was like, if I get a cake, can
- 57:49Speaker 3: you guys write on it? And she's like, yeah, just
- 57:51Speaker 3: go pick out a cake and we.
- 57:52Speaker 8: Can write anything you want. And he says... Well, I
- 57:55Speaker 8: bet you you can't write anything.
- 57:57Speaker 4: That I want.
- 57:58Speaker 9: Oh, man.
- 57:58Speaker 6: Sir.
- 57:59Speaker 8: Don't.
- 58:00Speaker 11: Please.
- 58:00Speaker 7: Please just leave her alone.
- 58:01Speaker 4: Yeah, dude.
- 58:03Speaker 2: Sir.
- 58:03Speaker 3: Don't be.
- 58:04Speaker 2: Somebody's weird ass uncle at Dairy Queen, you know. And
- 58:08Speaker 2: Dairy Queen a lot of times will have like younger
- 58:11Speaker 2: kids working there and stuff.
- 58:12Speaker 3: High school, college, whatever. Eight year old girl. And don't be.
- 58:16Speaker 3: I'll bet you won't. I'll bet you won't.
- 58:18Speaker 2: Dude.
- 58:20Speaker 3: Keep it moving, man. Don't be creepy. That's it. Don't
- 58:23Speaker 3: be creepy.
- 58:25Speaker 2: Well, coming from the guy who just saluted all side boobs,
- 58:29Speaker 2: is that creepy or is that just a celebration?
- 58:32Speaker 3: That wasn't creepy. It's appreciation. Yes, exactly. That's what it is.
- 58:37Speaker 3: I mean, you didn't go ask somebody to write a
- 58:40Speaker 3: happy birthday side boobs. Not a bad cake to get, though. No,
- 58:46Speaker 3: it's what they used to call me on the streets, too.
- 58:49Speaker 2: I've known you for basically your whole life. I never
- 58:52Speaker 2: remember your street name being Side Boobs. I had a
- 58:55Speaker 2: time when I was on the streets where they... A
- 58:56Speaker 2: dark time in your past?
- 58:57Speaker 3: No, Side Boobs. Happy birthday, Side Boobs.
- 59:02Speaker 2: Here's your chance to win $ 1, 000 and a full trip
- 59:05Speaker 2: to Vegas.
- 59:06Speaker 3: It's not your birthday. That's New Year's Day. Side Boobs.
- 59:12Speaker 3: Thank you again to our friends at the C.
- 59:14Speaker 2: Harper Auto Group, the official sponsor of the Mikey and
- 59:17Speaker 2: Bob podcast.
- 59:18Speaker 3: And yesterday after the show, we went out to our C.
- 59:21Speaker 3: Harper vehicles.
- 59:22Speaker 2: Bob's Dodge Ram, my Jeep Gladiator, and they had ducks
- 59:26Speaker 2: for us. And we know Jeep ducks are a thing, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 59:30Speaker 2: People who own Jeeps put little rubber duckies on their dash, right?
- 59:34Speaker 2: They made us Mikey and Bob ducks. Like, I have
- 59:37Speaker 2: purple ducks, and then Bob's are regular rubber duckies with
- 59:40Speaker 2: cowboy hats on.
- 59:41Speaker 3: It's unbelievable.
- 59:43Speaker 2: I love it. I can't wait to see a Wrangler
- 59:46Speaker 2: out there in the wild that I can drop a
- 59:48Speaker 2: duck on.
- 59:49Speaker 3: Hey, I got people that drive Jeeps in my neighborhood.
- 59:51Speaker 5: Do you?
- 59:52Speaker 3: Yeah, but I don't know how that works. What do
- 59:54Speaker 3: you mean? Well, dude. If it's out in their driveway.
- 59:57Speaker 3: Is it a home game? I don't know if you're
- 59:59Speaker 3: supposed to go in people's driveways. See, that's what I'm saying.
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: Because nobody's actually put a duck on my Jeep when
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: it's sitting in my driveway. I guess that would be
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: kind of weird, but you know. I see a Jeep
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: down the street. I really want to go put.
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: A duck on it. You know, look what I got.
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: I mean, maybe, but then I also have to think
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: like kind of an invasion.
- 1:00:20Speaker 3: I don't want to creep anybody out.
- 1:00:22Speaker 2: So I want to put Mike and Bob ducks on
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: all the Jeeps in Pittsburgh. Now, thanks to our friends
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: at the C Harper auto group. We didn't even know
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: they were making Mikey and Bob Jeep ducks. And they did.
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: And it's awesome. And we, we really appreciate when, you know,
- 1:00:37Speaker 2: company like that, people like that go above and beyond
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: for us and our show and our listeners and just
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: kind of something cool. And you guys know how we
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: feel about all this. It's cool when something like that happens.
- 1:00:48Speaker 2: It's just little ducks, but it means a lot more
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: to us than that.
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: We have your chance at Bruno Mars tickets coming up
- 1:00:54Speaker 2: in just a minute here for the sold out show.
- 1:00:57Speaker 3: Saturday at Accra.
- 1:00:59Speaker 7: Sure.
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: But Bob, we need to check in with the Pittsburgh
- 1:01:03Speaker 2: police scanner here. We got one thing.
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: Okay. But it's worthy of making the show. Okay.
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: Again, the Pittsburgh Police Scanner account. They do a great
- 1:01:13Speaker 2: job on social media.
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: Award winning. They've won awards. They have.
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: They listen to the scanner and then they just post
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: about what is happening in and around our city. Brighton
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: Heights at the Trey Laundromat. Caller said a guy arguing
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: with employees just came back and dumped a bucket of
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: pee in the facility.
- 1:01:36Speaker 3: A lot of questions. A bucket? A lot of questions.
- 1:01:40Speaker 7: How long....
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: How long has he been collecting his own urine?
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: I mean, if you got a bucket of pee that
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: you're ready to use at any time. See, I don't know, though,
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: because maybe he was just angry at the laundromat. You
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: still have to collect the pee somehow. But maybe it
- 1:01:58Speaker 2: was just one bucket of, you know, one pee trip.
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: Maybe he's not collecting... a bucket of urine over and
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: over just waiting for the day to throw it somewhere.
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: You think the bucket was just the big scary thing
- 1:02:12Speaker 2: and it really could have been like a.
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: Yeah, it could have been a 20-ounce bottle. A pee?
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: I don't think it was a bucket full. I think
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: he went in a bucket and then said, all right,
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: there's a bucket of pee and threw it all over
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: the laundromat. That's what's happening in and around our city.
- 1:02:26Speaker 9: Ding!
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: Hey, don't throw buckets of pee anywhere. Don't ever pee
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: in a bucket and collect it either. All right, Bruno
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: Mars tickets.
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: Here's your chance to win Bruno Mars tickets.
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: Zara Larson performing at our iHeartRadio Music Festival. You'll have
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: more chances to try to win a full trip out
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: there in $ 1, 000. $ 230, $ 430, and $ 730 later today here
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: on 96.1 KISS. Obviously, there's been a lot of talk,
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: and probably if you've gone into the office or texting
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: with friends yesterday and this morning, a lot of people
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: talking about the passing of Dolly Parton and she was
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: battling with a cancer. And, yeah, sort of still shocked
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: close family and friends that she passed age of 80
- 1:03:11Speaker 2: years old. Now, I know we've been talking about Dolly
- 1:03:14Speaker 2: Parton on the show today and just her legacy and
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: all the charity work she did and, you know, Taylor
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: Swift and Beyonce and everybody releases statements about it. I
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: did not know about the Dolly Parton Dream Box. Did
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: you know about the Dolly Parton Dream Box? I do
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: not know what you're speaking of right now. Okay, the
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: Dolly Parton Dream Box. is a wood chest at Dollywood's
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: Dream More Resort. It has a CD in it with
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: an unreleased song called My Place in History. The box
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: honors her uncle Bill Owens and is scheduled to be
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: opened on Dolly Parton's 100th birthday, January 19th, 2046. 20
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: years from now. Has it been sitting there or they
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: just put this in place? No, it's been there. No,
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: it's like a thing. I think big Dolly Parton fans
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: know about this.
- 1:04:14Speaker 3: That's wild. Yeah.
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: It says the chestnut dream box is a repository of
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: Dolly's memories and wishes for the future. It will not
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: be open until Dolly's 100th birthday on January 19th, 2046.
- 1:04:27Speaker 2: The dream box itself is a tribute to her original
- 1:04:30Speaker 2: mentor and uncle Bill Owens, who has worked tirelessly to
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: preserve the American chestnut tree. As a final tribute, Dolly
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: has placed a song, which she has written to be
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: released at her last, entitled My Place in History. Only
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: Dolly knows its melody and content until 2046. That's wild.
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: I didn't know about that. All right, so we got
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: to wait 20 more years? Listen, I feel like Dolly's
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: gone now. it's i mean there's never a hotter time
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: than to hear a new dolly parton song than right
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: now right is there's other things in the dream box
- 1:05:08Speaker 2: i'm asking you questions you probably have no clue but
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: it's like there's a collection of memories and stuff in
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: there um yeah but there is at least one unreleased
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: song that only dolly parton knows about that is uh
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: is going to be out i guess 2046 we open
- 1:05:22Speaker 2: the box and there's a cd in there hopefully we'll
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: still have a cd player to play it on i
- 1:05:26Speaker 2: guess but You know what? Dolly dropped the time capsule. Really?
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: Last wishes. Now we just got up. Man, 20 years.
- 1:05:35Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: You know, I was worried about dying before Marvel movies
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: and stuff like that.
- 1:05:39Speaker 3: Now I'm worried about Dolly.
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: Got to make it 20 more years so I can
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: hear Dolly Parton's, you know, final song to everyone.
- 1:05:47Speaker 3: I feel like her estate should just just drop it.
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: Sneak that one out here. Maybe they don't know what
- 1:05:52Speaker 2: it is. Open the chest up. Open the chest up
- 1:05:55Speaker 2: and put it out.
- 1:05:56Speaker 3: You know, listen.
- 1:05:57Speaker 2: 20 years from now, I don't know how this song
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: is going to do. 20 years from now, no one
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: will even believe it's real. Everybody will just be like,
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: that's AI, you know?
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: You're right.
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: I mean, honestly, drop it right now. You got to
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: open the chest up. Not her wishes.
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: You're right.
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: The way things are going, we don't know who's going
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: to be here in 20 years.
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: Need that Dolly Parton song. I know it's her final wishes. Yeah,
- 1:06:23Speaker 3: I had no clue about that. Yeah, it's a real thing.
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: I think we're learning a lot about Dolly Parton. It
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: just spurred my head. Did the city ever find that
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: time capsule that they were searching for?
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: Hey, Mayor Cory O'Connor. Did they give up on that?
- 1:06:35Speaker 3: What happened there? We need an update. That just went away.
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: I'm sending a message. It was like around 4th of July. Remember,
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: they were tearing the city building up trying to find
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: the time capsule.
- 1:06:48Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: I'll send an email to Corey O'Connor's office to see
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: if they found the time capsule yet.
- 1:06:53Speaker 3: What happened with that? That's a good point, Bob.
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: We're talking about Dolly's time capsule and her song that's
- 1:06:58Speaker 2: going to be released in 20 years. Weren't they ripping
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: walls out and knocking holes in things to look for it?
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: And then they just went away.
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: Where'd the time capsule go, Corey O'Connor? It's happening on
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: your watch.
- 1:07:08Speaker 8: From.
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: Hey, start thinking of a name for the podcast here, Bob,
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: because we're wrapping up the show here. It's Mikey and
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: Bob on 96.1 KISS. Before we wrap up the show,

- 1:07:56Speaker 14: incredible job. The whole nursing staff was just super empathetic
- 1:08:02Speaker 14: and helpful.
- 1:08:04Speaker 3: Truly grateful.
- 1:08:05Speaker 9: All right.
- 1:08:05Speaker 3: All the nurses, everybody over at AHN. Shout out to
- 1:08:08Speaker 3: the nurses. I've been there a few times. Really nice place.
