Speaker A: Somebody need to do a song for la.
• 0:06
Speaker B: Straight up. Hello, my name is Elaine and I'll be your tour guide through South Central Los Angeles.
• 0:18
Speaker A: Look, count my nose. Smoke up. I'm from California, where you from? So what?
• 0:24
  Speaker B: I'm from California.
• 0:26
  Speaker A: Cal, California.
• 0:27
  Speaker B: Cal, California.
• 0:29
Speaker A: This is Los Angeles.
• 0:30
Speaker B: Well, where work. Hello, Bella.
• 0:55
Speaker A: Yeah. It's time for some action. Hey. You have been called to the table. You have been called to the table.
• 1:04
Speaker B: Do I need to get on top of it?
• 1:06
Speaker A: It's crazy. It's crazy that you said that like, hey, you still got your warm up zone. Like, okay, yeah, Do a couple of free throws, couple layups. Get that layup line. Get up in that layup line.
• 1:21
  Speaker B: I'm ready.
• 1:25
Speaker A: To the people out there today, this is what we're here to talk about. Shan, what are we talking about today?
• 1:32
Speaker B: When do you consider the friend zone for that man?
• 1:36
Speaker A: Let's start from the origin story, though. We. I think we need. Especially you. Especially you. Have you ever been friend zoned?
• 1:48
Speaker B: I don't think I've ever been friend zone because I have titties. Okay. You know, and I feel like not. No shade on. Grown men can focus and not let titties distract them. But younger men, high school, middle school, college men, men in my 20s, men in my 30s, and older men, if what I had on today was in their face, they wouldn't ever put me in a friend zone, you know what I'm saying?
• 2:22
Speaker A: Okay. All right. Well, in that case. Have you, have you ever put someone in the friend zone?
• 2:27
  Speaker B: All the time.
• 2:28
Speaker A: All the time, she said all the time. So you got like a lot of space, like terabytes of space where you just putting people.
• 2:39
Speaker B: Yes, I have to. Because your filter gets better as you get older. It should. As you mature, as you know what you want and you know what you don't want. How you like your piece. You have to know what personalities match with that versus what personalities will ruin that. And the personalities of males of friends. I can handle you as a friend with this personality. But if we were lovers or romantic or trying to be in a serious, committed relationship, we would drive each other crazy. And I don't want that.
• 3:14
Speaker A: Well, then that sparks another question that just came out of nowhere. What's the biggest misconception about being just friends?
• 3:24
Speaker B: The biggest misconception about being just friends is when you're really good friends with the opposite sex, people automatically feel like y' all are too good of friends to not ever have fucked up.
• 3:41
Speaker A: Wow, that is. Hello, Hello. Say, say we not that horny, you know, do you think, do you think like, do you think like the friend zone is real or is it just like a rejection? That's like what a nicer name.
• 4:04
Speaker B: Rejection is like you don't have to be nasty and reject somebody. But I think the friend zone and treating with a. Treating a person with respect and still showing up for them is like a mature way of knowing, like we are great as friends, but if we ever cross that line and had sex or wanted to be more, you will probably hate me as a person.
• 4:33
Speaker A: Hate, hate, hate, hate, hate, hate. So since you've never been in the friend zone, has. Has someone ever escaped your friend zone? Oh, talk about it.
• 4:46
Speaker B: Let me think. Yes, yes, yes.
• 4:50
Speaker A: What changed your mind?
• 4:55
Speaker B: The stupidest thing that changes all the minds of people, men and women. The idea of potential.
• 5:03
Speaker A: The potential. The P word. People. Yeah, that other P word.
• 5:09
Speaker B: Not the penis. Because, you know, penis never made me do, you know, out of the box things at first. But you know, potential makes you feel like it's a possibility. I can make them be better or make them be the person I would like to introduce to my people. But this is what really helps me put men in the friend zone is the fact that I'm a lot of things, okay? I'm creative, I'm outgoing, I'm organized, I handle business. I've always had three jobs up until I was 28 years old, from 16, I left high school and like I think two weeks later I was in college. I didn't take no breaks. I did the whole four years. And I'm not a. I'm a go to the party person. I'm not. I'm a seat at the bar. I never dappled in something that took me off of the path I needed to be on. So from. So for me, a lot of people can't handle my drive and my maturity with boundaries. So like, I could have fun with you, but I have boundaries. I got somewhere else to be, I gotta go. A lot of people don't know how to manage that. And so it's either like they're used to me, the fun part of me, but they don't know how to handle the work part of me or the creative part of me. And so when I see that you can't handle all my levels and I need to be with somebody that can handle my levels, that helps me put you in a friend zone because it's okay that you can't I don't want you to, but you could be here.
• 7:04
Speaker A: So the answer this then. Have you. Have you ever regretted taking someone out? Taking some way. No. Two part question. Putting someone in and taking someone out.
• 7:18
  Speaker B: I don't know if. I don't know if I got to.
• 7:21
  Speaker A: Got to.
• 7:22
Speaker B: I have put a lot of people in. I. I don't know if I regret not taking somebody out the friend zone because I never tried to after I put them there and I wanted them to stay there. But I have regretted taking people out the friend zone because once you take somebody out the friend zone of the opposite sex and y' all try the relationship and it doesn't work if they still like you more and you're okay with not having them more and going back to friendship, so you lose a friendship. And so I would say my first boyfriend should have stayed a friend. Ari's daddy should have just been a damn shout out, no shade, I love Ari. But yeah, my third boyfriend should have just stayed a friend. Because you know, when somebody. When you have a friend that's really funny and y' all just friends, I love them down. But when you let the really funny guy become your boyfriend, that he becomes an asshole.
• 8:38
Speaker A: You spilling it. You spilling into my next question. You spilling into it. Hey, you slow it down. You slow it down, bucko, because look, now we got to tell the truth. Here's the kick, though. Yeah, here's the kick. If you answer yes, you got to say it. Damn, this is crazy. You got to say it with your chest.
• 8:58
Speaker B: Oh, you know, I can say much.
• 9:00
Speaker A: It meaning like. Meaning like you got to answer it in the cockiest way. Pause.
• 9:05
  Speaker B: Okay.
• 9:06
Speaker A: If his. No, you gotta say it in the most disrespectful way.
• 9:11
  Speaker B: All right?
• 9:12
Speaker A: All right. So if it's a yes, you gotta be on some cocky. If it's no, you gotta be on some disrespectful. You ready?
• 9:19
  Speaker B: Okay. Got you.
• 9:21
Speaker A: Have you ever kept someone in a friend zone because they gave you attention?
• 9:28
  Speaker B: No. No, no.
• 9:30
Speaker A: No. Okay. All right, I don't. We believe you. Have you ever. Have you ever know someone that liked you but enjoyed the compliments too much to let. To let them go? No. No. Okay.
• 9:46
  Speaker B: No.
• 9:47
Speaker A: Have you ever flirted with someone and had no intention of dating?
• 9:53
Speaker B: Okay, repeat that again.
• 9:55
Speaker A: Have you ever flirted with someone but you had no intentions of dating or being with them?
• 10:00
Speaker B: Yeah, all the time. Especially with strangers in New York.
• 10:03
Speaker A: That's crazy that you narrowed it down to New York.
• 10:07
Speaker B: Okay, let me. Let me explain this. In New York, it's so big and so random that you could wake up every day and be a different person if you wanted to. So flirting with somebody is like, I'm gonna try this. I'm gonna try this approach. Like, every day was like a game of, let me try this and see what happens with this person, you know? So.
• 10:29
Speaker A: All right, all right, all right. Let's see. Let's see. Is that leading someone on or is that just harmless fun, though?
• 10:40
Speaker B: I think it's harmless fun. Unless I'm just like, hey, can I have your number? I want to take you on a date one day. You can see that they're really giddy and, like, ready for. And they're gonna wait by their phone for that shit. I don't play with people in that way, but I will, on the train flirt. You know what I'm saying? I will. And give you, like, the serious stare down where you either smile or I make you uncomfortable.
• 11:05
Speaker A: Hey, Brett, 12 count. One of y'. All. One of y' all put that down. Shannon's one of my. She's one of my. My. My pencils, too. Like, I might call Shan with an idea and tell her to pencil that shit down. She said. She said she flirted on a train. We need to put that on a shirt. I flirted on a train. That's crazy. I flirt on a train. It's crazy.
• 11:30
Speaker B: I flirted on the train. So crazy. Where it was rush hour, and I was on the E train going to Queens, and this man's dick print was on my ass the whole ride until.
• 11:41
Speaker A: Like, that's wild. Shout out, chat, out there, living her best life. Do you think. Do you think men and women friends on differently?
• 11:51
  Speaker B: I don't. I don't know how a man friends, though.
• 11:54
Speaker A: Well, how you think. How you think men friends, though? Like, okay, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Before you even answer that, how. What's the. What's the general. What's the general ways for a woman to friend zone a man? You. You didn't even break that down.
• 12:07
Speaker B: Okay, Give us a couple.
• 12:09
Speaker A: Give us a few of them.
• 12:11
Speaker B: I have a list of reasons of why I would friend zone a man.
• 12:14
  Speaker A: Okay?
• 12:15
Speaker B: Okay. Disclosure. Anybody listening to this? Do not think you can work around this. It's shampoo. Okay.
• 12:24
Speaker A: Damn. And she did that.
• 12:27
Speaker B: Okay, number one, when I peep, how you treat people that you gave your body to, if I hear that call, if I see how you ignore them, if I see how you talk and they walk up and then you act a completely different way, we would never I would never have your dick anywhere near my mouth because you're disrespectful, as you know what I'm saying? So.
• 12:51
Speaker A: Yeah, she basically said, have some respect for the dead. Go ahead.
• 12:56
Speaker B: Yeah. Yeah. Number two, how you work with people and your work ethic. So if the. The thing that feeds you, gives you options in life, gets you from week to week, you're, like, shrugged on, or you don't do it with any integrity or give a about if you show up or if you just let people know you're not coming. Ew. Like, I don't like that because I don't do that to people. You know, I called out today, but I. I didn't call out two minutes before I had to clock in. I called out an hour and 30 minutes before. You know, give people a heads up. I'm not coming. Number three, your hygiene levels. And I'm not gonna tell you what to do. I'm gonna watch what you do and what you don't do, okay? Because I feel like at a certain point, as a man, nobody should have to tell you, you need to clean your ears. Nobody should have to tell you. Nobody has to tell you, hey, just because you took a shower every day this week does not give you a right to wear these pants for the seventh time and not wash them. We could smell that.
• 14:11
  Speaker A: Yeah. Little.
• 14:14
Speaker B: So, yeah. Watch your hygiene. Four, if you lack self awareness, that is, like, a peeve of mine. Okay? If you like self awareness and you can't see two steps ahead of what might happen if you do this or if you don't do something.
• 14:31
  Speaker A: And.
• 14:33
  Speaker B: Yeah, I just. I. I can't do it. I can't do it in friendships. I can't do it in romantic ships. I just can't do.
• 14:41
Speaker A: Michelle, what if he can't see?
• 14:43
Speaker B: Literally, I've never had a blind friend. I don't know how that would go.
• 14:47
  Speaker A: Okay, gotcha.
• 14:49
Speaker B: Yeah. Number five. And this is no shade to my skinny men, because, y'. All.
• 14:56
Speaker A: Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. What's skinny, though?
• 14:59
Speaker B: Skinny is like, you got to give me.
• 15:01
Speaker A: You got to give me the hate. I mean, the hate. It is hate, though. You got to give me the height to weight ratio. Give me that.
• 15:07
Speaker B: Okay, so first I'm gonna say this. If I can lift you up, we can't.
• 15:12
  Speaker A: Oh, that's crazy.
• 15:13
  Speaker B: Okay.
• 15:17
Speaker A: All my light. Hey, hey. All my light kings out there. Stand up, baby, stand up. But hey, put some. Put some pennies in your pocket.
• 15:26
Speaker B: Yeah, if I can lift you up holding bricks.
• 15:31
Speaker A: Hold Your bricks. She said. She said, nigga, if I could suplex you, she said if I put you in a Boston. Hey. She said if I'm able to flip you over and put you in a sharpshooter, it's over, buddy. You're never getting out that friend zone.
• 15:48
  Speaker B: I'm sorry.
• 15:49
Speaker A: She could put you in a finger for a leg lock. It's over for you.
• 15:52
  Speaker B: Yeah, okay, continue.
• 15:54
  Speaker A: That's crazy.
• 15:55
Speaker B: The. I don't care about height because I'm not procreating anymore. You could be whatever how you want to or what.
• 16:01
Speaker A: But, but, but, but here's the thing, though. Here's the thing, though. What you say. You say that, but a lot of women. A lot of women are tricked by the height, though.
• 16:12
Speaker B: What do you mean tricked?
• 16:14
Speaker A: If you. For. If you. If you. If you find a guy that's six, two and up, you're to me that you automatically get a notch up. Let's just say you get 10 notches, right? If you are six. If you are six, two and up, you automatically going to get like three to four notches. Automatically. Coming into the game, you automatically start with four or five. And you. Only. You could max out. You can max out at 10 now, depending on the attraction and your personality and stuff like that. And.
• 16:48
  Speaker B: And.
• 16:48
Speaker A: And. And your status, that might. That might bring it down and you can take away. But don't tell me that y' all don't care about height like that. I can't let you get that away.
• 16:58
Speaker B: I'm not gonna say y'. All. I'm not gonna say y', all. But we're talking about Shan with Layla and Shan sandals. I give a about height, okay? I've had them at six, three. I've had them at six foot. I've had them at five, three. I've had them at, you know, maybe five, seven, five, nine. It don't matter, because when I see a tall man, I think about my height. I'm barely five two, okay? Barely five two. And I look at a tall man, I'm just like, if he did 69, I probably would be in your belly button.
• 17:38
Speaker A: Oh, man, she's in the belly button, okay?
• 17:40
Speaker B: And I don't want to be in the belly button. So
• 17:46
Speaker A: blowing on your belly.
• 17:47
Speaker B: I'm doing body math. You know what I'm saying? So I don't need a man that's super tall. But I will say I cannot do super skinny men just because I like to lay on my Buddha belly. I don't like a super ab flat stomach.
• 18:08
Speaker A: She Says you want a bamboo belly.
• 18:10
Speaker B: Yeah, I like a little Buddha, little cushion. I like a man with a little, you know, me on his bones. I still want to be the only person in the relationship with titties.
• 18:19
  Speaker A: Wow.
• 18:20
Speaker B: Okay. Yes. I want to be the only person in the relationship with titties. I want to be able to still have the ratio of. If you're giving me back shots, I can touch your balls. If I can't touch your balls while you giving me back shots, then the ratio of us is off. You know what I mean? And I like a man in between. 190, 230.
• 18:51
  Speaker A: Okay.
• 18:52
Speaker B: All right. Little muscles. I don't want you to have a super thick neck because then I have to think about. If you put me in a headlock while you sleeping, you might not understand your grip. You know what I'm saying?
• 19:03
Speaker A: If your woman puts you in a headlock, don't talk to me for two and a half weeks. We're going into the what if zone. Yeah, this is the what if zone, Shan, and I need you to answer accordingly.
• 19:16
  Speaker B: Okay.
• 19:17
Speaker A: You can pick whatever friend that you want, right? Yeah, it could be any whatever, because. Do they. Do you rank your friends in the zone?
• 19:26
  Speaker B: No.
• 19:26
Speaker A: Oh, you don't? So they. They. So it's all equal? It's all dei.
• 19:31
  Speaker B: Yep.
• 19:32
Speaker A: Okay. All right. So what if one of them became rich? Would you change his name?
• 19:38
Speaker B: He's just my rich friend.
• 19:39
Speaker A: Oh. He's still in the zone. No matter the financial.
• 19:43
Speaker B: Okay, I gotta. I got a very well off male friend since high school. He just had a new baby. His fiance is a little ticky ticky and he's backing out of that relationship. And I told him, I told him about my trip this weekend and he was like, okay, well, keep in contact with me if this. He has offered for us to be in a relationship and he put the girls in private school and, you know, I just do live my life and he lives his just because he knows who I am. But at the same time, I don't give a fuck if you're a great man and you have money and you're well off if I'm not going to be the partner I feel like you deserve. And you're not going to be the partner I really want. Deep down, I'm not going to put myself in that situation to just benefit off of you. Now, I know a lot of women would, you know, saying. And I've been offered some things by some male friends that I have, and I'm just like, I wish I Was that hung? But I'm not here. I would never be satisfied.
• 20:52
Speaker A: So, no, that kind of answered. That kind of answered the rest of the what if questions outside of maybe. And maybe we already know the answer is, what if they got married?
• 21:03
Speaker B: I love when my friends who are in the friend zone get married. Then I could, like, relax my shoulders.
• 21:08
Speaker A: Okay, so you just take. You basically just take them off the roster. You just put an X next.
• 21:12
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 21:13
Speaker A: Like, do you. Ooh, ooh, here's. Here's a follow up question to that, though.
• 21:18
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 21:20
Speaker A: You in a relationship?
• 21:23
  Speaker B: I'm in a relationship.
• 21:24
Speaker A: Right, right. You in a relationship? Should you tell your partner about someone you have friends on? Should you tell your partner about your friends on stable?
• 21:36
Speaker B: I tell them, and sometimes they ask, like, my last relationship, they ask, like, has this person ever seen your titties? Have they ever tried to date you when y' all first met? Have they ever, like, pushed up on you in a sexual way? And I answer it.
• 21:52
Speaker A: Would you cut. Would you cut one of your friend zone zoners off if your. If your partner said do that?
• 22:00
Speaker B: Yes, and I have. And we know the results of that.
• 22:04
Speaker A: I was there. I was there. Hey, hey, hey, hey. Look, I'm gonna act like I'm talking to the chat. I just. Because I just want to say the word chat. Hey, Chat. Hey, guess what? Me. Hey. Me and my. My Drake was just walking down the street. Next thing you know, got cut off.
• 22:24
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 22:25
Speaker A: Hey, Cut our water off. Okay. They cut our sham water off immediately. Right.
• 22:32
Speaker B: They got really nasty.
• 22:33
Speaker A: Shan wasn't having that. Shan was not having that.
• 22:37
Speaker B: And it wasn't because, like, I just feel like you're trash now because I'm with a person, but if. If it's disrespectful, I can't. I can't have you disrespecting someone I'm with and want to continue to be with and us be friends. Like, you're gonna have to find a chill.
• 22:56
Speaker A: All right, well, that makes you. Let me ask you this. What do you think is more painful than, like, getting rejected immediately or just spending years in a friend Z.
• 23:11
Speaker B: For the person who is friend zone or the person that is friend zoning for the pro.
• 23:16
Speaker A: For the person that is in the friend zone. What do you think?
• 23:20
Speaker B: I feel like? I feel like the person that's in the friend zone, who, in the back of their mind, they're just like, I'm gonna make sure this friendship is so good that one day I'm gonna wear them down and we're gonna Be more. I feel like that's your personal responsibility to find your limit, because this person never promised you, give me. This person never said, give me three years and I'll see if he could be more. This person never said, give me five years and I'll see if he could be more. You're. You have a. A idea in your mind, an intention that you're not sharing with this person, so it makes it a manipulated relationship.
• 24:00
Speaker A: I like that. That's a great answer. That was great. That was great.
• 24:05
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 24:07
Speaker A: All right, so look, do you think the friend zone is like. Is it more personality or is it attraction the reason.
• 24:17
Speaker B: Oh, oh, for me. For me, the friend zone is personality.
• 24:24
  Speaker A: Oh, it's a personality.
• 24:26
Speaker B: Yeah. Because it's not. Your personality is horrible. It's. Do our personalities mix to be more. Is there chemistry?
• 24:35
Speaker A: So you don't think. You don't think. You don't think the personality messes up with yours?
• 24:39
  Speaker B: No, no.
• 24:41
Speaker A: All right, all right, all right, all right. I like that. I like that. Now is time to go further. We're going to do a little this or that little dance. Okay. No, literally, you got to answer this
• 24:56
Speaker B: or that, and we're here.
• 24:59
Speaker A: Would you rather be friend zone or blocked?
• 25:05
  Speaker B: Blocked.
• 25:06
  Speaker A: Blocked. Completely honest.
• 25:11
  Speaker B: Look.
• 25:11
Speaker A: Honest rejection or mixed signals?
• 25:15
  Speaker B: Honest rejection.
• 25:16
Speaker A: I didn't get that. Tell me, God damn it.
• 25:19
Speaker B: Yeah, I. I like the man to be like, shan, I know what you're trying to do. We will never. So stop it. Thank you. You know, say, have a good night, sir. I. I would love that if a man ever did me like that. But a man has never come down his neck and be like, shan, please stop. Yeah.
• 25:38
  Speaker A: Okay.
• 25:39
  Speaker B: All right.
• 25:40
Speaker A: Love at first sight or love over time?
• 25:45
  Speaker B: Love over time.
• 25:47
  Speaker A: Okay.
• 25:50
Speaker B: When you see somebody, it's just luck if you loving them at first sight. Okay.
• 25:54
Speaker A: All right. Shoot. Shoot your shot twice. And we know this is difficult for women to do in general. God damn it. Shoot your shot twice or never again shoot it twice. Okay. She going. She going. She's going back. Stay friends or walk away completely. You gonna ghost people.
• 26:21
Speaker B: I have ghosted people.
• 26:22
Speaker A: You ghosted people. So which one you rolling with? You rolling with the ghost or you rolling with the. You know, we. We.
• 26:28
Speaker B: We ghosting people. Okay, so there was a time where I was dilly dallying with the man, and we weren't anything but. Because we had a conversation before we got physical. He told me he doesn't have any kids, but he knows he wants twins. And even. And even if the woman naturally doesn't have twins. He's going to go to the doctor to make sure she has twins. When he said that shit, instantly I said, we would just.
• 26:58
  Speaker A: Right, damn.
• 27:00
Speaker B: We would just fuck. And we did it. And the third time we did that, he was sucking my titties so crazy that

Speaker A: it's crazy. I did not see that. Hey, when you want to talk about, when you want to talk about a curveball, we wouldn't, we not even in that, we not even in the sport for her to throw a curveball like that. I didn't see that. Go ahead and finish, though. No, no, no, no, I'm sorry. Go ahead and finish.
• 27:33
Speaker B: When he did that after, he was like, damn, like, you, like it's something extra in it. And he was like, you, Are you pregnant? I said, no. He's like, then why the. Do you have breast milk? I said, I don't know. It's been like a year and a half.
• 27:50
Speaker A: Whatever that milk that, that Dave Chappelle had, it was, y' all gotta be careful out there.
• 28:00
Speaker B: And that's what I knew. Like, I can't, I can't do him anymore because I, I, I, He's a, he's the type of person that would keep me around because the milk. That would keep me around because the sex was such a thrill for him. And I wasn't getting anything out of it because I'm a mental. Hey, so if, if I don't with you mentally, it's like I can't get off. Like, I need to.
• 28:30
Speaker A: Hey, for all my, the boys fans out there, just know. Homelander. Okay. Homelander. Jesus, that went crazy. One night stand. One night stand or years in a friend zone?
• 28:46
Speaker B: Years in the friend zone. I never done a one night stand.
• 28:50
Speaker A: Okay, okay. Well, you say it like that. Yeah, okay.
• 28:57
Speaker B: It's just like, I can't do it. I need to know your last name. I need to know where you work, and I need to know that you don't live in a cardboard box.
• 29:02
Speaker A: Remember? Have you ever seen that movie? It's, it's like a, what do they call those? It's like an indie film I think might find it on YouTube. I cannot think of the name. And I always, I, I think about this movie ever so often because it was very, it was polarizing. I wouldn't necessarily say polarizing, but I love. It was well written, but it was.
• 29:27
Speaker B: Who is in it?
• 29:28
Speaker A: They're not, they're not. At least from my perspective, they're not major actors or actresses. I don't think I've ever Seen these people in something different.
• 29:38
Speaker B: How old is it?
• 29:40
Speaker A: Oh, I seen this years ago. It could be. It could be. I'm saying this and I could be wrong, but it's over 10 years ago. I want to say. I want to say it's over 10 years. It got to be somewhere around there before then. But it's about. It's a movie about one night stand and they end up brushing their teeth with their finger. They went to a party. They went to a party together. They met each other, they had a one. And of course I'm forgetting a lot of details because I can't. Well, it's a good thing because I don't want to spoil it for you, but it is about a one night stand and coming off of a house party or something like that. But I. If I find it, I. I would definitely send it to you. I thought it was dope. I don't even know how I came and found it. I don't know if someone told me about it, but I end up just kind of like that. Well, we'll talk about that movie later.
• 30:32
Speaker B: But yeah, I think this. Anybody who finds, like true love for years behind a one night stand, you are the chosen one.
• 30:43
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 30:43
  Speaker B: You. What the.
• 30:45
Speaker A: Yeah, that's like. It's kind of like winning the lottery. Yeah, that shit don't happen to everybody. All right, now this is it. This. I mean, we about to just. We about to close it up. But I need a direct answer.
• 31:02
  Speaker B: Ooh, you ain't.
• 31:04
Speaker A: You can't elaborate, you can't explain nothing.
• 31:07
  Speaker B: Oh, my God.
• 31:08
Speaker A: You gotta say yes or no and shut the up. Yes.
• 31:15
  Speaker B: Damn.
• 31:15
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 31:16
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 31:17
Speaker A: This. And this is. This is pertaining to. Back to the friend zone. Okay.
• 31:22
  Speaker B: Okay. Okay.
• 31:24
Speaker A: Can ugly become attractive? Yes or no?
• 31:29
  Speaker B: No.
• 31:30
Speaker A: Can good sex change your mind?
• 31:34
  Speaker B: No.
• 31:34
Speaker A: Can money change the friend zone?
• 31:38
  Speaker B: No.
• 31:38
  Speaker A: Can confidence?
• 31:40
  Speaker B: No.
• 31:41
  Speaker A: Jealousy? No. Timing.
• 31:45
  Speaker B: Timing.
• 31:46
  Speaker A: Yes.
• 31:47
  Speaker B: No.
• 31:48
Speaker A: I'm asking it again. Then in a different way. Can someone be the right person at the wrong time?
• 31:53
  Speaker B: No.
• 31:54
Speaker A: Damn. Is the friend zone permanent?
• 31:58
  Speaker B: Yes.
• 31:59
Speaker A: Have you ever gone back to an ex after friend zoning someone else?
• 32:05
Speaker B: Wait, explain that. Not me. Explain my answer. But you explain that.
• 32:10
Speaker A: So, like, so basically you break up with your ex and you, you. You know, it's a lot of emotions behind that. You know, it's usually after the breakup and stuff like that. But some, you know, some people deal with their emotions by dibble dabbing into the friend zone and you.
• 32:31
Speaker B: So the ex becomes a friend.
• 32:33
Speaker A: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Meaning like you dibble Dab. You dibble dab with your friend zones, friend zoners and stuff like that.
• 32:42
  Speaker B: Oh, no, no.
• 32:42
Speaker A: But in the midst of all that, you go back to your ex.
• 32:45
Speaker B: No, I know. They be hooked. I can't do that. That's dangerous. Men are petty these days. They will be like, I, your fat, get Marty.
• 32:59
Speaker A: West side, get Marty. That's crazy, dog. Hey, hey. And then. And then would you. Would you date your best friend?
• 33:14
Speaker B: I want to marry my best friend.
• 33:17
Speaker A: Okay. Do they know who is your.
• 33:21
Speaker B: But, like, the man I marry, I want us to be, like, tight as fuck. Like, if you see a fat ass and we in our 50s, I want you to tap my shoulder so I can look.
• 33:36
Speaker A: And that, people, is Shan. Okay, now, in closing. In closing, Shan, I'm going to say this. When I say this, you tell me what you take away from this. Okay? What is your thought when I say this? Is the friend zone actually a place? Or is it simply one person saying, you're good enough for my life, just not the love of my life?
• 34:05
Speaker B: Is saying, you're good enough for my life, just not the love of my life.
• 34:08
Speaker A: Yeah, just not my love life, Basically. Yeah, you're good for my life, but not my love life. Damn.
• 34:15
Speaker B: And I could love you. I could love you as a friend.
• 34:18
  Speaker A: That's shady.
• 34:19
Speaker B: Like, if you got your dick stuck in the zipper, I'm in here to help you get that out, not to resuscitate it.
• 34:29
Speaker A: Damn, man. That's crazy, though. It's a crazy world we live in out here. It's a crazy world we live in out here.
• 34:42
  Speaker B: Shan, you.
• 34:43
Speaker A: Before we get outta here, of course we gonna have you share your contact information so these crazy motherfuckers can find you. Oh, they might wanna have an opportunity at the friend zone. You recently had an episode, you know, basically describing the perfect man.
• 35:03
Speaker B: Yeah, my ideal mate.
• 35:04
  Speaker A: You wanna.
• 35:06
Speaker B: I had an episode, expl Explaining what my ideal mate would be without patriarchy.
• 35:12
Speaker A: Like, the perfect man for the perfect shame.
• 35:17
  Speaker B: Yeah.
• 35:18
Speaker A: And that's what it was.
• 35:20
  Speaker B: Does he exist?
• 35:23
Speaker A: Hey. Hey, you all. You got to go check the episode out. You got to go check the episode out. She built a bear.
• 35:31
Speaker B: Before I tell y' all where to find me.
• 35:33
  Speaker A: Okay.
• 35:34
Speaker B: Say, okay. Psa, psa. Maybe to all these men. I don't care what you look like, what your body looks like, what your dick looks like.
• 35:45
  Speaker A: Yeah.
• 35:46
Speaker B: If you been gawking and wanting a woman for over decades, do gawk. And you have the time and opportunity, and she's with the shits, right? And she wants to take you seriously and you agree to that and she agrees to that. And she has shown you nothing but effort. If you are in a mind frame of second guessing yourself to be good enough or what she wants or your confidence, it is not going to work. You will up a good thing with someone you claim you want a little bit and I feel like you're going to regret it, but that's your shit, not my shit. But at the same time, it takes a very confident man to get bucking ass naked with a woman once all the way. I'm talking about. No, no, no, stop. Okay? It also takes a very confident man to bring in other objects of pleasure into a bedroom and not be offended or compare himself to it. If you are not at that level, don't ask for extra accessories, okay? Especially with me because I can't do nothing about what the Lord gave you message and the fact that I know what the Lord gave you for decades and you feel some shame behind that take, that is your. And if you don't want me to see you soft, keep your to yourself. Because the reality is every man is not gonna be on hard 24 7. But yeah, another thing that'll put you in the friend zone before I leave is if you have a turtle. A turtle wang. Okay? And shout out, shout out to people who want to keep the cap. If you want to keep the cap on your manhood, great. I just don't like it. And I still haven't discovered a nice way of asking, do you have a cap or is your cap off?
• 38:02
  Speaker A: Amen.
• 38:03
Speaker B: You know what I'm saying? One day I'll come up with a nice way of asking that. But I don't want you to feel shamed by it. I just like the cap off, okay?
• 38:11
  Speaker A: That's crazy.
• 38:12
Speaker B: I want to see the whole head. Okay.
• 38:16
Speaker A: Shannon's trying to find the nicest way to ask, do you wear a hoodie year round, Paul.
• 38:28
Speaker B: But you can find me@shamipottin.com. you can find me at Shambipotting on social media. You can find me at Mommy Muscle too, on Tick Tock. You can find me at she Gets a Pod on ig, but I'm in these streets. I'm sure y' all seen a podcast or more and I'm sure you saw a nip somewhere on these social media streams. It's mine. Yeah.
• 38:55
Speaker A: Yes. It's time. It's time to shut it down. It's time to shut it down. Shane, do you have any. Any closing words for the people out there.
• 39:06
Speaker B: Respect the friend zone. Okay? There are a lot of great women that you might fantasize about being more with, but I guarantee you they're more beneficial in your life as friends. If that's not what they want. And don't completely trash them because they don't want your wang. Don't completely trash them because they don't want your extra loving. They might put you on to a better for you little.
