- 2:11Speaker 2: go home with. And we've had other churches and, you know,
- 2:15Speaker 2: the word was brought. by one of our local pastors
- 2:19Speaker 2: out here. So yes, we just had a, a great time.
- 2:24Speaker 2: I thank the Lord for that. We got some other

- 4:31Speaker 4: All right.
- 4:32Speaker 2: I'm just a little excited. I'm still riding the wave.
- 4:36Speaker 2: from this weekend, but let's get to this podcast. Let's
- 4:39Speaker 2: go before the Father in prayer. Heavenly Father, we thank
- 4:42Speaker 2: you for another opportunity to get it right today. We
- 4:45Speaker 2: thank you for another opportunity to praise you today. We
- 4:48Speaker 2: thank you, Father God, that you've allowed us to be
- 4:51Speaker 2: on this platform once again, Lord God. Thank you for
- 4:54Speaker 2: your provisions and your grace, Father. We ask, Lord, that
- 4:57Speaker 2: the listeners, O Lord, will be blessed. Let there be
- 5:00Speaker 2: a built-in blessing for tuning in to this podcast and
- 5:04Speaker 2: for following along and for studying and doing the work,
- 5:08Speaker 2: oh God. Yes, Father, we ask this in Jesus' name. Amen. Hallelujah.
- 5:22Speaker 2: All right, as I promised, we're going to start in
- 5:26Speaker 2: chapter 22. And we're going to pick it up in
- 5:34Speaker 2: verse 1. I'm coming at you from the New King
- 5:38Speaker 2: James and I'll be going back and forth from New
- 5:41Speaker 2: King James and Old King James. I use both. So
- 5:46Speaker 2: if you stick with me here. So New King James,
- 5:51Speaker 2: thus says the Lord, go down to the house of
- 5:54Speaker 2: the king of Judah and there speak this word. All right. Now,
- 6:01Speaker 2: I guess we need to do a little background, right?
- 6:06Speaker 2: Today's In this episode, in chapter 22, we're just going
- 6:13Speaker 2: to pick the first five verses. But the message is
- 6:17Speaker 2: a serious message from God straight to the king. God
- 6:21Speaker 2: wasn't simply concerned about what the king said in public.
- 6:28Speaker 2: God was more concerned about how the king treated his
- 6:31Speaker 2: people And more specifically, the people under his authority. As
- 6:40Speaker 2: we know, Jeremiah has been prophesying gloom and doom. He
- 6:47Speaker 2: has been telling the people that this city was about
- 6:50Speaker 2: to be judged. If they don't repent, if they don't
- 6:53Speaker 2: turn from their wicked ways, if they don't submit and
- 6:57Speaker 2: surrender to God, that they will be judged. And they
- 7:02Speaker 2: rejected the message time and time again to the point
- 7:05Speaker 2: where Judgment was unavoidable. They crossed the line with God.
- 7:10Speaker 2: And I pray that we will never cross that line ourselves. Amen.
- 7:16Speaker 2: That we will lay down our lives, lay down our will,
- 7:21Speaker 2: lay down everything to seek and to serve the Lord. Hallelujah.
- 7:27Speaker 2: So let's see and watch the example of a king
- 7:30Speaker 2: who rejected the will of God for his life. Amen.
- 7:34Speaker 4: Amen.
- 7:36Speaker 2: That's what we're going to see in this chapter. So
- 7:43Speaker 2: let's break down verse one. Thus says the Lord, go
- 7:46Speaker 2: down to the house of the king of Judah and
- 7:49Speaker 2: speak these words. Now, God sends Jeremiah the prophet directly
- 7:56Speaker 2: to the king's house. But he didn't do it so
- 8:02Speaker 2: that it could be a private message. He did it.
- 8:05Speaker 2: so that it could be public. It was proclaimed publicly.
- 8:10Speaker 2: And as we know that kings and leaders are held
- 8:14Speaker 2: to a higher standard than just someone who is a
- 8:21Speaker 2: citizen of the nation or someone who is just a member.
- 8:25Speaker 2: And so he went publicly so all will know the
- 8:32Speaker 2: situation the king was in And I believe that he
- 8:35Speaker 2: actually did it for the people who are under his
- 8:38Speaker 2: authority so they can see clearly the direction that the
- 8:44Speaker 2: nation was headed. And also, if they wanted a chance
- 8:49Speaker 2: to repent, right, and save themselves, we don't have to
- 8:53Speaker 2: follow a bad leader. Amen. God is able to raise
- 8:59Speaker 2: up faithful leaders. All right, verse two. and say, hear
- 9:06Speaker 2: the word of the Lord, O king of Judah, you
- 9:09Speaker 2: who sit on the throne of David, you and your
- 9:13Speaker 2: servants and your people who enter these gates. Now, you
- 9:19Speaker 2: can't be more specific than that. That's one thing I
- 9:22Speaker 2: love about God. God is dealing with us. God is specific.
- 9:28Speaker 2: He said, all the people who walk through these gates,
- 9:31Speaker 2: he meant describes it down to which door they walk through,
- 9:35Speaker 2: which date they're walking through, you know, gate they're walking through.
- 9:38Speaker 2: That's how specific he is when he deals with us. Now,
- 9:42Speaker 2: the enemy, he uses condemnation. God will convict us of
- 9:49Speaker 2: any sin in our lives, but the enemy is almost
- 9:52Speaker 2: like a wet blanket. He doesn't just specifically, he doesn't
- 9:55Speaker 2: give you a remedy to get out of it, right?
- 9:58Speaker 2: He doesn't give you a specific action to perform so
- 10:04Speaker 2: that the condemnation will lift, so that things will be great. No,
- 10:08Speaker 2: he's more generalizing it. You know what I mean? He
- 10:11Speaker 2: doesn't want you to know what to do so that
- 10:13Speaker 2: you can get it right. He wants you just to
- 10:15Speaker 2: feel condemned He wants you to run away from God.
- 10:19Speaker 2: He wants you to think that God is through with you.
- 10:21Speaker 2: He's upset with you. He doesn't want you to experience
- 10:25Speaker 2: the grace of God. So how much more important is
- 10:28Speaker 2: it for us to listen to the conviction, right? Now,
- 10:33Speaker 2: God here reminds the king that he is sitting on
- 10:37Speaker 2: the throne of David. Now, that is a legacy. If
- 10:40Speaker 2: you are a Bible student, you would know that The Messiah,
- 10:47Speaker 2: Jesus Christ himself, came from the line of David. So
- 10:52Speaker 2: this was a great line, a privilege for him to
- 10:54Speaker 2: be in. And there was a lot of history that
- 10:59Speaker 2: came with it. David's throne represent God's covenant and God's
- 11:06Speaker 2: purposes that he's working in this earth. But even a
- 11:10Speaker 2: godly heritage doesn't automatically make you a righteous person, right?
- 11:16Speaker 2: You can't just sit in a position that has a
- 11:20Speaker 2: godly history and still make ungodly decisions without reaping the consequences. Now,
- 11:29Speaker 2: that's something that we need to understand today. We need
- 11:32Speaker 2: to choose God ourselves. We can't To say, oh, our
- 11:37Speaker 2: mother and our father or our family members who are
- 11:41Speaker 2: in ministry and think that that makes us right with
- 11:44Speaker 2: God or because we know about ministry or have been
- 11:47Speaker 2: around it, that doesn't make us right with God at all. Amen.
- 11:53Speaker 2: This king needed to submit and surrender his will and
- 11:57Speaker 2: serve God personally and get to know God personally in
- 12:03Speaker 2: order to to continue and be in line with that dynasty. Amen.
- 12:13Speaker 2: Verse 3. Thus says the Lord, execute judgment and righteousness
- 12:19Speaker 2: and deliver the plundered out of the hand of the oppressor.
- 12:27Speaker 2: Do no wrong and do no violence to the stranger,
- 12:31Speaker 2: the fatherless, or the widow nor shed innocent blood in
- 12:37Speaker 2: this place. Amen. Can't get any clearer than that, right?
- 12:45Speaker 2: So we can consider this right here. The heart of
- 12:51Speaker 2: the message. God says, do justice, do righteousness, protect people
- 12:57Speaker 2: from oppression. Do not mistreat strangers. Don't take advantage of
- 13:04Speaker 2: the fatherless and do not exploit the widows. Do not
- 13:11Speaker 2: shed innocent blood. Now, if we lived in a community
- 13:17Speaker 2: that practice all these things, that would be a blessing.
- 13:23Speaker 2: That would be no drama. That would be people loving
- 13:27Speaker 2: each other and supporting each other, right? God was looking
- 13:34Speaker 2: at how the nation treated people who were vulnerable. The
- 13:39Speaker 2: people who cannot protect themselves. Notice God didn't tell the
- 13:44Speaker 2: king merely to talk about justice. He told him to
- 13:51Speaker 2: execute justice and execute righteousness. In other words, he wanted
- 13:56Speaker 2: the king to do something about it. Not sit there passively.
- 14:03Speaker 2: Not sit there and allow people to be taken advantage
- 14:06Speaker 2: of in the kingdom. The people in authority have an
- 14:10Speaker 2: obligation to protect the weak. To protect those who are
- 14:16Speaker 2: in a disadvantage, right? God places people in position for authority,
- 14:24Speaker 2: for a purpose. There is a purpose for that. Leadership
- 14:29Speaker 2: isn't simply about having the ability to command people. I
- 14:34Speaker 2: get to tell you what to do. I get to
- 14:38Speaker 2: bring limitations on your life. I get to tell you
- 14:43Speaker 2: where to go and where not to go and all that.
- 14:46Speaker 2: Leadership isn't simply about having the ability to say, I'm
- 14:53Speaker 2: the boss or I can get my way all the time.
- 14:57Speaker 2: As a matter of fact, control is a form of witchcraft.
- 15:06Speaker 2: As a matter of fact, a leader is accountable to
- 15:08Speaker 2: God for how that authority is used. So there is
- 15:14Speaker 2: a greater, as I said earlier, there is a greater
- 15:18Speaker 2: accountability for those who are in leadership because with leadership,
- 15:24Speaker 2: sometimes there's privileges that accompany that and leaders can take
- 15:30Speaker 2: advantage of those privileges. Just look at our government today.
- 15:36Speaker 2: All right, I'm not going to get into politics, but
- 15:39Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying, right? Now, the king has
- 15:46Speaker 2: been given tremendous responsibility in the fact that they were
- 15:53Speaker 2: failing to represent God in his character. That was an
- 15:59Speaker 2: issue with God. Anyone who's in a position of leadership,
- 16:04Speaker 2: we are to reflect God's character and to be his
- 16:11Speaker 2: representative when it comes to leadership. If you're leading your family,
- 16:17Speaker 2: if you're a pastor, and if you own a business,
- 16:21Speaker 2: or even if you are an employer, there is no
- 16:27Speaker 2: better leadership than godly leadership. And this leadership is spiritual.
- 16:32Speaker 2: It's a spiritual leadership that God wants us to tap into. Now,
- 16:41Speaker 2: when a leader becomes corrupt, the people underneath them often suffer.
- 16:49Speaker 2: We've seen this time and time again. God, therefore, calls
- 16:52Speaker 2: leaders back to righteousness and reminds them that their position
- 16:58Speaker 2: does not place them above God's rule. Nobody is above
- 17:03Speaker 2: the law, right? Nobody is above God's rule and God's authority. Amen.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Let me see. Where are we now? Are we in verse?
- 17:25Speaker 2: I think we're in verse four. Amen. For if you
- 17:47Speaker 2: indeed do these things, then shell into the gates of
- 17:54Speaker 2: this house, riding on horses and in chariots, accompanied by
- 17:59Speaker 2: servants and people, kings will sit on the throne of David's. Now,
- 18:07Speaker 2: here is the promise, right? God will always set before
- 18:12Speaker 2: us life and death. And he's telling them in verse 4,
- 18:18Speaker 2: If you indeed do these things, then shall enter the
- 18:23Speaker 2: gates of this house, riding on horses and chariots, accompanied
- 18:28Speaker 2: by servants and people, kings who sit on the throne
- 18:34Speaker 2: of David. Now, here's a tragedy about the destruction. As
- 18:45Speaker 2: we read in the book of Jeremiah, the tragedy is
- 18:51Speaker 2: the fact that this city did not have to be destroyed.
- 18:59Speaker 2: It did not have to be destroyed. The city, God
- 19:03Speaker 2: says right here that horses and chariots will be able
- 19:08Speaker 2: to ride through the city. Now that's a symbol of blessing.
- 19:13Speaker 2: That's a symbol of prosperity, of peace, of victory. Normally
- 19:20Speaker 2: you ride a chariot into battle. So for the chariot
- 19:24Speaker 2: to ride through the city means that the battle was victorious, right?
- 19:30Speaker 2: Usually the leader rides in the chariot. And so the
- 19:41Speaker 2: same can be said of our own lives. You know,
- 19:44Speaker 2: we go through things that can be destructive. We could
- 19:51Speaker 2: lose a relationship. We could lose a relationship with our children,
- 19:57Speaker 2: a relationship with our spouses. We could lose position, privilege, ministry.
- 20:03Speaker 2: And yes, the enemy is out to steal, kill and
- 20:07Speaker 2: destroy us. And that is his very desire is to
- 20:12Speaker 2: bring destruction on our lives. God has come so that
- 20:16Speaker 2: we could build and that we can have life more abundantly.
- 20:25Speaker 2: So it's tragic when our lives are destroyed and when
- 20:29Speaker 2: they didn't have to be. We could have been the
- 20:31Speaker 2: best version of ourselves only if we would have chose life.
- 20:38Speaker 2: Only if we would have chose God's way. See, the
- 20:41Speaker 2: way we struggle in this, beloved, is that we have
- 20:45Speaker 2: a will and God has a will.
- 20:48Speaker 4: Right.
- 20:49Speaker 2: We learn God's will by reading his word. And once
- 20:54Speaker 2: we learn his will and his purpose, then we apply
- 20:59Speaker 2: his word. But the problem comes when we want to
- 21:05Speaker 2: do our own thing. And this is a struggle all
- 21:08Speaker 2: of us have as believers. That's why it's important for
- 21:14Speaker 2: us to start the day in prayer, start the day
- 21:16Speaker 2: in his words so that we can be more sensitive,
- 21:19Speaker 2: so he can fill us up with his presence and power,
- 21:23Speaker 2: and so that we can be mindful of the word
- 21:25Speaker 2: of God. When someone pops off at you, just let
- 21:28Speaker 2: it go. You don't have to get frustrated or angry.
- 21:34Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying? Like the things that you've done,
- 21:36Speaker 2: especially in marital relationships.
- 21:38Speaker 5: Right.
- 21:39Speaker 2: I'm not saying that I want to give you marital counsel,
- 21:42Speaker 2: but I'm known in my own relationship that there's buttons
- 21:46Speaker 2: that could be pushed by my wife. You know, buttons
- 21:49Speaker 2: that nobody else can push but her. But when she
- 21:53Speaker 2: pushes those buttons, do I need to melt down? Do
- 21:57Speaker 2: I need to respond the old way or do I
- 22:00Speaker 2: do God's will? Submit to God, forgive her, pray for
- 22:04Speaker 2: her and allow God to work in her instead of
- 22:08Speaker 2: me jumping in. You know what I'm saying? And so
- 22:16Speaker 2: if I do it myself, that is the way of death.
- 22:20Speaker 2: But if we allow God to do it, that is
- 22:23Speaker 2: the way of life. Amen.
- 22:25Speaker 4: Amen.
- 22:31Speaker 2: Verse 5, but if you will not, here's the choice,
- 22:34Speaker 2: here's the way of death. Hear these words. I swear
- 22:38Speaker 2: by myself. Now, a lot of times when we swear, well,
- 22:45Speaker 2: first of all, the Bible tells us not to swear anything.
- 22:49Speaker 2: Just let our yea be yea and our nay be nay.
- 22:53Speaker 2: But When we do swear, we try to swear on
- 22:56Speaker 2: someone or something that is higher than us. Some of
- 22:59Speaker 2: us say, you know, my grandmother's grave or, you know,
- 23:03Speaker 2: on my kids. You know what I mean? It's like
- 23:05Speaker 2: you swear on things that you feel are precious to
- 23:09Speaker 2: you or higher than you. But who's he going to
- 23:16Speaker 2: swear by? There is no one higher than him. So
- 23:21Speaker 2: the ultimate level. that he could reach is himself. So
- 23:26Speaker 2: this is surely going to come to pass. He says,
- 23:28Speaker 2: I swear by myself, says the Lord, this house shall
- 23:32Speaker 2: be a desolation. This house will be a desolation. Now
- 23:45Speaker 2: that is our choice. Do you want chariots riding through
- 23:51Speaker 2: the city? Or do you want Nebuchadnezzar to assemble his
- 23:56Speaker 2: army in the midst of the city and burn it
- 24:01Speaker 2: and tear it down? Now, we live in a culture
- 24:09Speaker 2: that often defines leadership by power. Who gets the most
- 24:15Speaker 2: followers and who has the biggest platform or who can
- 24:19Speaker 2: make the most money? Who has the most influence? We
- 24:25Speaker 2: look at who has the microphone or has a different measurement.
- 24:32Speaker 2: I mean, God has a different measurement than we have.
- 24:37Speaker 2: So what are you doing with the influence you've been given? Right?
- 24:45Speaker 2: That is the question. You might not be the king
- 24:51Speaker 2: per se, or you might not be a pastor. You
- 24:54Speaker 2: might not even be a CEO. You might not have
- 24:57Speaker 2: thousands of followers, but God has placed anybody under your influence.
- 25:03Speaker 2: You have responsibility. That could be your children. That could
- 25:08Speaker 2: be your family, your employees, your ministry, your church, even
- 25:14Speaker 2: your music audience, right? Your social media followers, right? people
- 25:19Speaker 2: in the community, your friends, your family members. Leadership isn't
- 25:25Speaker 2: always about a title. Sometimes leadership is simply influence plus responsibility. Now,
- 25:39Speaker 2: God also specifically reminds the king where his authority came from. Now,
- 25:47Speaker 2: that is a powerful point right there because sometimes people
- 25:51Speaker 2: forget that he's sitting on the throne of David. This
- 25:57Speaker 2: wasn't his power. This was given to him by someone else.
- 26:06Speaker 2: People forget that the position they're standing in isn't necessarily theirs.
- 26:15Speaker 2: But It was handed to them. And with responsibility, how
- 26:22Speaker 2: many rich families have wealth that was handed down to
- 26:27Speaker 2: them to where if they didn't have a father or
- 26:31Speaker 2: a grandparent or a mother that did the right things financially,
- 26:37Speaker 2: that there would not have been anything to pass down
- 26:40Speaker 2: to them. So God allows us to have these privileges
- 26:51Speaker 2: that we have. Amen. And so when God gives you influence,
- 26:56Speaker 2: he's expecting you to remember who gave it to you. Now,
- 27:03Speaker 2: that applies to our artists as well, especially from CHH.
- 27:07Speaker 2: If God gives you a platform, don't use that platform
- 27:10Speaker 2: to destroy people. Use it to build people up. And
- 27:16Speaker 2: if God gives you a microphone, don't use it only
- 27:19Speaker 2: to promote yourself. Use it to speak truth. Right? If
- 27:25Speaker 2: God gives you resources, don't only ask, what can I buy? Ask,
- 27:31Speaker 2: who can I bless today? Who can I help? Who
- 27:36Speaker 2: is going without food today? Who is lacking clothes? Who can...
- 27:43Speaker 2: Who's not able to get a ride to church or
- 27:45Speaker 2: something like that, right? God's standard. They were not really complicated.
- 27:53Speaker 2: All he really told them to do is to do
- 27:56Speaker 2: the right thing. Do what is right. Sometimes we can
- 28:00Speaker 2: make Christianity more complicated than it needs to be. God says,
- 28:05Speaker 2: do right. Protect people. Don't oppress people. Don't exploit people.
- 28:10Speaker 2: Don't abuse your authority. Do not hurt the innocent. Stand
- 28:16Speaker 2: up for those who are vulnerable. That is real world Christianity.
- 28:24Speaker 2: That is what the Bible tells us, right? And also
- 28:29Speaker 2: God specifically tells the king to rescue those who are
- 28:34Speaker 2: being oppressed. Oppression is a monster. Right? God doesn't want
- 28:45Speaker 2: people to oppress other people. So that means God's people
- 28:51Speaker 2: aren't supposed to be indifferent when somebody is being mistreated.
- 28:59Speaker 2: If we encounter mistreatment or injustice, they should hear from us.
- 29:07Speaker 2: Society should hear from the church. Right? We should be
- 29:11Speaker 2: the loudest voice speaking against it. We shouldn't be looking
- 29:17Speaker 2: for opportunities to take advantage of other people, right? Of
- 29:23Speaker 2: someone else. We should be looking for opportunities to help,
- 29:27Speaker 2: to bring relief. That is especially important when it comes
- 29:35Speaker 2: to ministry. Now, if our churches, our ministries, our nonprofits,
- 29:41Speaker 2: our artists, and Christian organizations have platforms but never use
- 29:47Speaker 2: those platforms to help people, we have to ask ourselves
- 29:52Speaker 2: whether we're actually fulfilling the assignment that God has placed
- 30:00Speaker 2: on our lives.
- 30:00Speaker 5: Amen.
- 30:02Speaker 2: And there's a lot of people in church. They're trying
- 30:06Speaker 2: to figure out what is the call of God for
- 30:09Speaker 2: my life? What is my assignment? There's been a lot
- 30:13Speaker 2: of words about getting in position, right? Especially here in
- 30:17Speaker 2: these last days. But we can simply break it down
- 30:21Speaker 2: like this. Do what is right. Serve people. Help people.
- 30:28Speaker 2: This life is not about yourself. It's not about you
- 30:32Speaker 2: and your four no more. Life is about pleasing the Lord.
- 30:41Speaker 4: Amen.
- 30:42Speaker 5: All right.
- 30:43Speaker 2: I think it's time to take a quick break.
- 30:46Speaker 3: You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
- 30:50Speaker 3: is the His Hop Radio Show.
- 30:53Speaker 4: You already know what it is It's your favorite DJ
- 30:56Speaker 4: DJ Torture Reporting live from the underground's hottest nightclub Club
- 31:01Speaker 4: Hades Where we spin nothing but the hottest records Where
- 31:04Speaker 4: the dance floor always stays on fire And the party
- 31:08Speaker 4: never ends In fact, it lasts for an eternity We're
- 31:11Speaker 4: taking requests, call in right now 666-666-0666 But before I
- 31:18Speaker 4: spin these records A word from our sponsor Cause we
- 31:20Speaker 4: gotta pay these bills.
- 31:22Speaker 5: Yeah Some people say that when their spirit leaves their bodies,
- 31:26Speaker 5: they hope they go to hell because here it's going
- 31:27Speaker 5: to be a party. A celebration with the heathens being naughty.
- 31:31Speaker 5: They think they're going to die and fall into a
- 31:33Speaker 5: sea of orgies. Some say I've only been the face
- 31:36Speaker 5: of evil because what is written is fake and religious
- 31:38Speaker 5: faith deceives you. Bibles incriminate the little snake that speaks
- 31:41Speaker 5: to Eve because he tried to liberate the people. I
- 31:45Speaker 5: think it's cute that they believe I'm on their side.
- 31:48Speaker 5: Shout out to whoever has taught them all them lies.
- 31:50Speaker 5: But the truth is when I look at them, I'm
- 31:52Speaker 5: bothered by the image that they're made in because they
- 31:54Speaker 5: resemble their father God. Like, how could they be so confused?
- 31:58Speaker 5: Why would I form an allegiance with fools? They're the
- 32:00Speaker 5: children of my ops, so I see them as tools
- 32:03Speaker 5: for my revenge. Like if I can deceive them, I'll
- 32:05Speaker 5: prove that even.
- 32:06Speaker 2: After everything that Jesus would do for their sin.
- 32:09Speaker 5: If I tempt them with evil, they'll choose their cravings
- 32:11Speaker 5: over God, and it grieves them to view their betrayal.
- 32:14Speaker 5: This keeps me and my demons amused. Since the beginning
- 32:18Speaker 5: of time, it was me. Disguised in a tree, I
- 32:20Speaker 5: was lying to Eve. And since she bit the fruit,
- 32:23Speaker 5: mankind's been deceived. Every crime that you see's been inspired
- 32:26Speaker 5: by me. yes every savage thought had a start i
- 32:30Speaker 5: saw potential in man and i gave that a spark
- 32:32Speaker 5: and now they're all evil but evil started with me
- 32:35Speaker 5: so why would they think that i have a heart
- 32:37Speaker 5: i'm the epitome even at the worst they just get
- 32:40Speaker 5: a glimpse i draw them to hell to fulfill my
- 32:42Speaker 5: sick fetishes thick leather whips their skin are just shred
- 32:45Speaker 5: and whip tortured for eternity and hell it gets devilish.
- 32:54Speaker 4: We're born alive from club Hades. Yo, that dance floor
- 32:58Speaker 4: is on fire right now. I mean, like, literally, it's
- 33:01Speaker 4: on fire. So if you can't get comfortable and party
- 33:11Speaker 4: with us, I'm about to spin this classic record. Oogie Shaboogie,
- 33:15Speaker 4: you ain't worth nothing. If you're tuned in, turn your
- 33:19Speaker 4: dials up.
- 33:20Speaker 2: You already know who it is. It's DJ Torture. Yo,
- 33:29Speaker 2: what up, bro?
- 33:30Speaker 3: Yo, what up, D?
- 33:31Speaker 4: Good morning.
- 33:31Speaker 2: Good morning, bro.
- 33:32Speaker 6: Yo, y'all good, man?
- 33:33Speaker 4: What up, D? What up?
- 33:34Speaker 2: Yeah, we good. What about y'all?
- 33:36Speaker 6: Yeah, we straight. Man, you ain't been back 24 hours
- 33:40Speaker 6: and things already got crazy.
- 33:41Speaker 3: I know, bro.
- 33:42Speaker 2: Fact. This is so tragic, bro.
- 33:44Speaker 4: Yeah, man.
- 33:45Speaker 2: It really is.
- 33:46Speaker 4: Tag. But, yo, who was he?
- 33:52Speaker 2: I've never seen him before, bro.
- 33:54Speaker 6: Yeah, you have, though, bro. That was Mikey.
- 33:57Speaker 4: Oh.
- 33:57Speaker 6: He was from the block, but he was never with
- 34:00Speaker 6: us because he was too young.
- 34:02Speaker 4: Yeah, facts.
- 34:02Speaker 6: Bro was only 17.
- 34:02Speaker 4: 17? 17.
- 34:03Speaker 2: Dad, that's sad, bro. For real. What happened?
- 34:10Speaker 6: I guess him and the little homies from school banged blood.
- 34:13Speaker 6: Those is little homies right there next to his mom
- 34:16Speaker 6: at the mural.
- 34:16Speaker 5: For real.
- 34:17Speaker 6: Well, they must have had some smoke with some crips.
- 34:20Speaker 6: It was coming out the corner store and them crips
- 34:22Speaker 6: slid on them and caught them in front of your
- 34:24Speaker 6: mother house. Yeah, so that's why we out here right now.
- 34:27Speaker 6: We trying to figure out where these crips.
- 34:29Speaker 2: From because they violated.
- 34:31Speaker 6: I don't even know who gave them the green light
- 34:34Speaker 6: to slide on our block, but we can't let that slide.
- 34:37Speaker 6: So we about to get out again. That song's nothing, bro.
- 34:39Speaker 2: Stop it. Man, let 12 handle that. 12?
- 34:42Speaker 5: Says when we do things like that well man who
- 34:46Speaker 5: are you and what have you done with the homie
- 34:50Speaker 5: bro that's a whole set what you think's gonna happen
- 34:54Speaker 5: you gonna slide get your get back and they gonna
- 34:56Speaker 5: turn around and do the same thing and get their
- 34:58Speaker 5: get back it's just gonna be a cycle of death
- 35:01Speaker 5: man this is why our community is the way it
- 35:03Speaker 5: is We complain about our conditions, but don't nobody want
- 35:07Speaker 5: to make things better and build.
- 35:09Speaker 2: All we do is destroy.
- 35:11Speaker 5: Somebody got to be the first to step up.
- 35:14Speaker 4: It could be you, bro.
- 35:14Speaker 2: I don't know what you're talking about.
- 35:16Speaker 5: Don't play a part in the destruction.
- 35:19Speaker 2: Do your part and build.
- 35:32Speaker 3: You are listening to The Light of Las Vegas. This
- 35:36Speaker 3: is the His Hop Radio Show.
- 35:56Speaker 2: All right, all right. We are back from that musical break.
- 36:00Speaker 2: That was our brother Dayton with the Menace Movement. That
- 36:05Speaker 2: is Club Hades, a club that I do not want
- 36:10Speaker 2: to see, never want to go. And also DJ Torture.
- 36:15Speaker 2: That is one DJ I never want to meet. If
- 36:20Speaker 2: you didn't really get the whole picture, that is Hell
- 36:24Speaker 2: Club Hades in Torture. That's a demonic spirit that is
- 36:29Speaker 2: torturing people. Lost souls in hell. So that was actually
- 36:35Speaker 2: pretty good. That was a very good depiction. Very good
- 36:41Speaker 2: put together. And in the skit towards the end, he
- 36:44Speaker 2: has a powerful message that somebody needs to step up.
- 36:49Speaker 2: Somebody needs to break that cycle.
- 36:52Speaker 4: Amen.
- 36:56Speaker 2: All right. Quick shout out to the live chat. Shout
- 36:58Speaker 2: out to our brother, Chris. Our brother Zone 3 that
- 37:01Speaker 2: loves to slide through and everybody else who has come
- 37:05Speaker 2: and have been a part of the community. We appreciate y'all.
- 37:10Speaker 2: It's time to log into the community right now. If
- 37:12Speaker 2: you're listening, we are. If you're listening live, that is.
- 37:15Speaker 2: I mean, you can log in at any time. We
- 37:18Speaker 2: will see your comments. We appreciate y'all. But. If you
- 37:25Speaker 2: want to participate in our accountability partner and our trivia
- 37:29Speaker 2: challenge we do every day, meet us here every day
- 37:32Speaker 2: at 11 o'clock a.m. Pacific Standard Time here on the
- 37:37Speaker 2: His Hot Radio. Download the His Hot Radio app. Click
- 37:41Speaker 2: on the top radio station, which is His Hot Radio.
- 37:45Speaker 2: We do have other radio stations that are in our network.
- 37:49Speaker 2: Shout out to one of... our stations that have been
- 37:53Speaker 2: rocking with us for years, Blood Bot Radio and our
- 37:55Speaker 2: brother Knowledge. Our brother, he replays or rebroadcasts this podcast
- 38:03Speaker 2: over there on Blood Bot Radio. So we just want
- 38:06Speaker 2: to give you a shout out and we want to
- 38:08Speaker 2: thank you for the support. Amen. And, you know, you
- 38:12Speaker 2: can find this podcast on multiple platforms as well. All right.
- 38:21Speaker 2: So right now, let's go to the accountability partner.
- 38:28Speaker 4: Right.
- 38:29Speaker 2: We know that the road is narrow. The Bible tells
- 38:34Speaker 2: us that there are going to be few who actually
- 38:36Speaker 2: find the path to life. So that's scary. Right. Even
- 38:42Speaker 2: when the Lord comes back, the Bible says one person
- 38:47Speaker 2: will be in the field and one person will be left.
- 38:51Speaker 2: So that's a 50% ratio. So that's telling us that
- 38:55Speaker 2: a lot of people are not going to be ready
- 38:58Speaker 2: because they're not willing to do the work. They're not
- 39:00Speaker 2: willing to check their hearts and to clean their hearts.
- 39:03Speaker 2: They're not willing to do what we're doing right now
- 39:05Speaker 2: on the podcast, daily renew our minds so that we
- 39:09Speaker 2: can do God's will, putting ourselves down, crucifying the flesh,
- 39:13Speaker 2: crucifying our desires and our attitudes, our thoughts, and growing
- 39:18Speaker 2: in the fruit of the Lord, right? This is what
- 39:23Speaker 2: I want us to do. And this is what our
- 39:25Speaker 2: online community is for. It's always good to have someone
- 39:29Speaker 2: that can pray with you. you the bible says our
- 39:32Speaker 2: hearts are evil and desperately wicked who can know it
- 39:35Speaker 2: so it's good to have someone that you can be
- 39:37Speaker 2: honest and confide in and they can say you know
- 39:41Speaker 2: what that is not the will of god for you
- 39:43Speaker 2: and bring you to scripture Not someone that's just going
- 39:47Speaker 2: to tell you their personal preference, but somebody who is
- 39:51Speaker 2: going to bring the word.
- 39:53Speaker 4: Amen.
- 39:56Speaker 2: So log in to the community, the live chat on
- 40:02Speaker 2: the His Out Radio app and let's do this. Let's
- 40:04Speaker 2: take this walk together. Let's grow this online community. Amen.
- 40:11Speaker 2: So our challenge for you today here is. Call up
- 40:16Speaker 2: your accountability partner and look at your influence. Ask yourself,
- 40:22Speaker 2: who has God placed under my influence? Then ask, am
- 40:28Speaker 2: I using that influence to help them or simply to
- 40:32Speaker 2: benefit myself?
- 40:35Speaker 4: Right.
- 40:35Speaker 2: Talk about your answer with your accountability partner. Then identify
- 40:42Speaker 2: one practical way you can use your influence this week
- 40:47Speaker 2: to help somebody else. Then don't just think about it,
- 40:53Speaker 2: but do it. Bless somebody, help somebody else. Think about
- 40:57Speaker 2: the people that you are leading, the people you have
- 41:01Speaker 2: influence over, because you are accountable. You have to give
- 41:05Speaker 2: an account, right? Just make sure you're pleasing God in that. Amen. Also,
- 41:14Speaker 2: we want to let you know that His Hot Radio
- 41:15Speaker 2: is monitored in a reporting radio station. Once you submit
- 41:20Speaker 2: your music, we will report every time you get play.
- 41:24Speaker 2: Your music gets played over the air. And also, if
- 41:30Speaker 2: you advertise on our platform, check out our promo packages.
- 41:33Speaker 2: That will help with your placement. on our charts you
- 41:38Speaker 2: can become number one or if you can just have
- 41:43Speaker 2: your followers and supporters vote for your song every time
- 41:47Speaker 2: it plays or request it all the interaction all that
- 41:53Speaker 2: you do will help you move up on the His
- 41:56Speaker 2: Hot Radio chart so go to our website hishotnation.com hit
- 42:00Speaker 2: that submissions tab so that you can submit your music music.
- 42:10Speaker 4: All right.
- 42:11Speaker 2: Now it's time for the trivia challenge for today. Today,
- 42:16Speaker 2: according to Jeremiah, name all four groups of vulnerable people
- 42:26Speaker 2: that God specifically commanded the king not to mistreat and
- 42:34Speaker 2: identify the additional groups prohibitation excuse me I'm trying to
- 42:44Speaker 2: read this question right here given immediately after right so
- 42:54Speaker 2: head on over to the community so that you can
- 42:57Speaker 2: get these questions and of course as we do all
- 43:01Speaker 2: the time the first one to get the question right
- 43:07Speaker 2: will be the trivia champ Shout out to our boy
- 43:10Speaker 2: Zone 3. We're going to cut him a check for
- 43:13Speaker 2: 50 G's for being the trivia champ this whole year.
- 43:20Speaker 2: I'm trying to speak into existence. I don't have it
- 43:23Speaker 2: right now, but let's speak it into existence. I pray
- 43:27Speaker 2: that this organization will be able to do that to people,
- 43:29Speaker 2: but we want to bless you, bro, for your participation.
- 43:32Speaker 2: It's encouraging. Thank you for being a part of the podcast.
- 43:37Speaker 2: Every time you show up It's encouraging as well. So,
- 43:41Speaker 2: hey man, answer the question. You're the first one to
- 43:46Speaker 2: get it. Alright, we want to give our community shout out.
- 43:50Speaker 2: Shout out to Doolittle. Shout out to all those who
- 43:54Speaker 2: showed up. We had a nice turnout in the Doolittle Park.
- 43:59Speaker 2: As I said at the beginning of the podcast, we
- 44:02Speaker 2: raffled off toys and appliances. We had 32-inch TVs. We
- 44:07Speaker 2: Raffled off. A brother brought out his bounce house. A
- 44:13Speaker 2: brother repent. Came out on the mic. He rocked the house.
- 44:18Speaker 2: And also you had me on the ones and twos.
- 44:20Speaker 2: I did a little mix. Some scratching there. Something to
- 44:24Speaker 2: keep the crowd going. Keeping the energy live. It was cool.
- 44:28Speaker 2: And being able to meet other churches and other organizations
- 44:34Speaker 2: that we partnered with. That was amazing. So once again,
- 44:41Speaker 2: download the Hiss Out Radio app. We want you to
- 44:45Speaker 2: stay connected with us. Also, if you're an artist, we
- 44:49Speaker 2: have a new request a feature section on the app.
- 44:53Speaker 2: So if you're looking for that feature for your next
- 44:55Speaker 2: song or if you want to be featured, make sure
- 44:58Speaker 2: you get signed up on that. It's a hub. It's
- 45:02Speaker 2: a place where people can interact and get some things done.
- 45:08Speaker 4: Amen.
- 45:08Speaker 2: Amen. connecting people all right we also want to let
- 45:17Speaker 2: you know that his hot radio is a non-profit organization
- 45:23Speaker 2: we are a 501c3 we opened up a christian club
- 45:30Speaker 2: back in 2012 we were able to rock it for
- 45:33Speaker 2: seven years but some things came up to where we
- 45:37Speaker 2: had to move out but we are looking to relocate
- 45:41Speaker 2: We are looking for another building to relaunch and reopen.
- 45:48Speaker 2: That's why we became a nonprofit organization. If you would
- 45:51Speaker 2: like to become a monthly supporter or donor, if you
- 45:54Speaker 2: want to donate once a year, you want to whatever
- 45:58Speaker 2: you want to do. A dollar, two dollars, five dollars
- 46:01Speaker 2: does something. It all helps us sustain ourselves. the movements,
- 46:06Speaker 2: sustain the ministry. We want to reach the youth and
- 46:09Speaker 2: the young adults, especially those who have been incarcerated and
- 46:15Speaker 2: those who have been in trouble. Amen. And the great
- 46:24Speaker 2: thing about it is that it's all tax deductible. It's
- 46:27Speaker 2: a write-off on your taxes. So if you would like
- 46:29Speaker 2: to support us, donate in any capacity, Head on over
- 46:33Speaker 2: to our website, HisHotNation.com or you can download the app
- 46:40Speaker 2: His Hot Radio on all platforms and you can find
- 46:45Speaker 2: that donation button. Alright, well before I close it out,
- 46:57Speaker 2: I just want to do a quick review, some closing remarks.
- 47:02Speaker 2: Jeremiah 22, 1 through 5 teaches us sometimes that our
- 47:12Speaker 2: generation desperately needs to hear the truth.
- 47:18Speaker 4: Right?
- 47:21Speaker 2: Leadership is a responsibility before God Almighty. Doesn't matter on
- 47:28Speaker 2: high or high-low, leadership is a responsibility. Your position doesn't
- 47:32Speaker 2: make you important what you do with your position is
- 47:39Speaker 2: what makes you important or what you do with the
- 47:44Speaker 2: position is what matters your platform doesn't make you righteous
- 47:48Speaker 2: how you use your platform matters and your influence isn't
- 47:53Speaker 2: just an opportunity it's a responsibility God told the king
- 47:59Speaker 2: to do justice to do righteousness and To deliver the oppressed.
- 48:05Speaker 2: Don't take advantage of the vulnerable. And that message still
- 48:13Speaker 2: speaks today. Amen. That message still speaks today. And I
- 48:22Speaker 2: can tell you that some of my worst pain has
- 48:25Speaker 2: been by those in leadership. And those in leadership inside
- 48:30Speaker 2: the church. It seems like, you know, we can handle
- 48:34Speaker 2: it somewhat from out in the world, but you kind
- 48:37Speaker 2: of expect that in the world. But you come to church,
- 48:41Speaker 2: you let your guards down and it seems like it
- 48:44Speaker 2: just it just hits different. But even with that, we
- 48:50Speaker 2: are to forgive. We are to love. We are to
- 48:55Speaker 2: walk together. We should look leadership differently right it's not
- 49:07Speaker 2: about how much influence i have but it's about what
- 49:11Speaker 2: am i doing with that influence because one day everyone
- 49:17Speaker 2: will give an account before god whether you're you have
- 49:20Speaker 2: 10 followers or 10 million followers, use what God has
- 49:26Speaker 2: placed in your hands to glorify Him.
- 49:30Speaker 6: Right?
- 49:31Speaker 2: Keep walking in the Word. Keep living the Word. Keep
- 49:34Speaker 2: sharing the Word. And we had a singing at Club
- 49:39Speaker 2: Hissop From eight to 80 million. Like we're going to
- 49:43Speaker 2: do the club. You know, we had events where nobody
- 49:47Speaker 2: showed up. You know, we had events where all we
- 49:51Speaker 2: saw was the chairs and the audience, but the artists
- 49:54Speaker 2: still went out. The artists still ministered. And so we
- 50:00Speaker 2: said from eight to 80. As long as there's one
- 50:06Speaker 2: person still listening to this podcast, one person. listening to
- 50:10Speaker 2: the radio station. We need to stay faithful to that
- 50:14Speaker 2: because one day we're going to give an account for
- 50:18Speaker 2: what they hear and what they're being taught and what
- 50:21Speaker 2: I'm speaking on. Even on this podcast, I might have
- 50:24Speaker 2: a microphone in my hand right now. That doesn't make
- 50:28Speaker 2: me great. No, that makes me responsible. And I try
- 50:32Speaker 2: my best to share the whole counsel of God. And
- 50:35Speaker 2: when it's my opinion, I let you know. But when
- 50:39Speaker 2: it's a commandment or a word, we examine it and
- 50:42Speaker 2: we look at it. We don't go too fast, right?
- 50:45Speaker 2: All right, y'all. Well, that is my time. Thank y'all
- 50:50Speaker 2: for tuning in. We appreciate y'all. And remember, it's not
- 50:54Speaker 2: about us. It's all about the Christ in us. God
- 50:57Speaker 2: bless y'all.
- 51:11Speaker 3: You are listening to The Light of Las Vegas. This
- 51:15Speaker 3: is the HizHop Radio Show.
