- 0:54Speaker 1: That's cute. I like that.
- 0:55Speaker 2: That's what that says.
- 0:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I like that. Some fancy cursive.
- 0:59Speaker 3: I see you know how to read cursor?
- 1:02Speaker 1: Can you can you write cursive?
- 1:05Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:05Speaker 1: Well, I don't know. That's not a guarantee anymore if three, Yeah,
- 1:10Speaker 1: it's kind of a guarantee. I don't know that is
- 1:13Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:13Speaker 4: Yeah, we had handwriting classes. We had It wasn't an
- 1:17Speaker 4: option when can you write in cursors?
- 1:20Speaker 3: I was repracticing the other day actually, to be honest,
- 1:22Speaker 3: I was like, yeah, I can. Then I was like, well,
- 1:24Speaker 3: when's the last time I Actually.
- 1:25Speaker 1: That's why I asked, Like, it isn't a question of
- 1:27Speaker 1: whether you learned it thirty years ago. Can you do
- 1:31Speaker 1: it right now? That's hard. I don't think I can
- 1:33Speaker 1: forget it. Yeah, I do it all the time. I
- 1:35Speaker 1: think I want to write. You write in cursive as
- 1:39Speaker 1: your defense.
- 1:41Speaker 2: If I'm writing for myself, if I'm writing for somebody else,
- 1:44Speaker 2: because Jefferson, it might as well be a fucking you know,
- 1:49Speaker 2: cipher or somebody else.
- 1:53Speaker 1: If somebody else is reading it, I have to print.
- 1:56Speaker 1: I like it. I found a while back.
- 1:59Speaker 4: I found just a piece of writing that I had
- 2:01Speaker 4: done in high school. Uh, and it was like it
- 2:04Speaker 4: was like home. It wouldn't eything interesting or anything like that.
- 2:07Speaker 4: But what was interesting about it was how much better
- 2:09Speaker 4: my handwriting back then?
- 2:10Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah, because I was writing every day.
- 2:12Speaker 4: Yeah now like I probably write on something like once
- 2:15Speaker 4: a week, yeah, but not for not for very long.
- 2:18Speaker 1: I don't know when I've ever used handwriting like I mean,
- 2:20Speaker 1: the only time I think I write with a pen
- 2:23Speaker 1: in a week is at clinical staffing with UNLV, And
- 2:27Speaker 1: that's because you get the agenda and like you just
- 2:29Speaker 1: write random notes on there. That is it, and I
- 2:32Speaker 1: can't read it. A week after I've written it, I'll
- 2:34Speaker 1: go back and be like, what the fuck is this? Yeah,
- 2:35Speaker 1: just hieroglyphics, Like I have no idea. My handwriting is terrible,
- 2:39Speaker 1: is it?
- 2:40Speaker 3: Are you using a pen and paper neck like per
- 2:42Speaker 3: week or not?
- 2:43Speaker 1: Per week?
- 2:44Speaker 2: I really the only time it ever happens. I mean
- 2:46Speaker 2: in my office, I'll make notes, like I'll jot down
- 2:49Speaker 2: notes to myself that stuff.
- 2:50Speaker 1: But to dear Nick, you're fucking great, I love you, buddy.
- 2:54Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, stuff like that. But the oral there's a
- 3:00Speaker 2: mirror behind you right now, do yourself a favorite.
- 3:03Speaker 1: Check it out. That handsome guy that is America's Nick.
- 3:08Speaker 1: I'm gonna jerk you off later, love Nick. We've got
- 3:15Speaker 1: to get HR's the off rules.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Damn. When we do the the when interns are testing, oh,
- 3:26Speaker 2: doing their oral presentations, useums I have to take.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Yeah, I should know. Well, welcome to the pot Therapy
- 3:44Speaker 1: Holiday Party. If you've come here for the answers to
- 3:46Speaker 1: your therapy questions, that'll be next week when we kick
- 3:50Speaker 1: off season eight the show, we're all rules will be
- 3:54Speaker 1: bent and many broken.
- 3:56Speaker 4: Or should we just pick one random question from the
- 3:58Speaker 4: queue right now and spit exactly twenty seconds?
- 4:01Speaker 1: Everybody gets a twenty second and we only read the
- 4:05Speaker 1: first line of the entire court and whatever it says,
- 4:08Speaker 1: that's it. After we read it, that's it. That's it,
- 4:12Speaker 1: that's the question we pick will be like, So anyway,
- 4:14Speaker 1: today might be the last time twenty seconds rules, rules,
- 4:21Speaker 1: give it a shot. No, today we are enjoying ourselves.
- 4:24Speaker 1: We're talking holiday topics, we are doing our annual gift exchange,
- 4:28Speaker 1: and then we have the much anticipated pud and fight
- 4:33Speaker 1: for Jim's doctorate, and the rules will be discussed later.
- 4:37Speaker 1: The discord has spoken, and so there's some interesting twis
- 4:40Speaker 1: discord come up with rules? Well they designed every what
- 4:44Speaker 1: exactly are you wagering in this the doctorate? Yeah? You do?
- 4:47Speaker 1: You have it? Well, I didn't bring it with me
- 4:49Speaker 1: ship it's late. I got things to do. No, I
- 4:51Speaker 1: don't have current. Well he's got to defend the belt, like,
- 4:54Speaker 1: come on, I guess yes, that's the fucking cage match.
- 4:59Speaker 1: I feel like I've playing for anything here.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Also by bringing Whitney and I into this, He's only
- 5:05Speaker 2: decreased his eyes.
- 5:07Speaker 1: It's on his part, not my decision. Okay, Again, I
- 5:12Speaker 1: was very comfortable with a one on one. I do
- 5:14Speaker 1: enjoy the.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Idea of Jim's floating doctorate though. Yeah, I mean very
- 5:18Speaker 2: honest about that, because.
- 5:19Speaker 1: This being a title fight, and you could just take
- 5:21Speaker 1: it away every year and hold.
- 5:23Speaker 2: One of us could win it and then in the
- 5:25Speaker 2: Christmas spirit gifted to somebody else.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Just throwing it. Yeah, yeah, figure out who got second
- 5:33Speaker 1: best of Las Vegas and just send it to him.
- 5:35Speaker 1: That's right, consolation prize baby. Oh man. I took Jacob's advice. So,
- 5:41Speaker 1: last time we talked about Christmas movies, what's your favorite ones?
- 5:44Speaker 1: And yours was that one with Bill Goldberg Santa Slay?
- 5:50Speaker 1: That was it? Right? That?
- 5:52Speaker 2: Okay?
- 5:52Speaker 1: So I started with Santa Slay, and then I was
- 5:55Speaker 1: looking through the recommendations. I stumbled upon Violent Night and
- 6:00Speaker 1: ended up watching Violent Night. Yeah, fucking wonderful. Was a
- 6:05Speaker 1: great I told you, chefs kiss, Chefs Kiss.
- 6:11Speaker 2: If you go watch it, it is hyper violent.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Oh so it is.
- 6:16Speaker 2: So it is much more violent than diod I'm.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Just telling you. You're bothered by the violence.
- 6:25Speaker 2: You're bothered by, Like, have you got kids that you
- 6:27Speaker 2: don't want to watch it? There's like people's heads being
- 6:30Speaker 2: smashed by hammers.
- 6:32Speaker 1: Oh well, I mean a candy cane is sharpened by
- 6:36Speaker 1: Santa Claus and used to impale a man through the eye.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Have you have you ever for justice?
- 6:42Speaker 2: Have you either stabbed somebody or accidentally stabbed yourself with
- 6:47Speaker 2: a candy cane?
- 6:47Speaker 1: Oh dude, they get sharp elementary school. No, very dangerous.
- 6:52Speaker 1: My answer went from yes to no so quickly at
- 6:54Speaker 1: the end of that sentence. Yeah, so that I highly recommend.
- 7:00Speaker 1: So violent night.
- 7:01Speaker 3: You didn't watch love actually.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Though, you know, it was real close. I was sitting there,
- 7:06Speaker 1: I was like, let's start on his side and just
- 7:09Speaker 1: punched myself in the face. Harbor murders, fucking everybody or ah.
- 7:20Speaker 1: So no, I didn't got into it yet, you know,
- 7:22Speaker 1: but December still happening. So I mean, as people are
- 7:25Speaker 1: hearing every day. Good Yeah, just you know, accountability, Yeah,
- 7:29Speaker 1: check in on me. Sure, I'm thinking about it. But
- 7:32Speaker 1: I've actually been out and about. I've been painting the
- 7:34Speaker 1: town lately. I got out and Winton saw a live concert.
- 7:38Speaker 1: You guys may have heard of it. It's called s
- 7:40Speaker 1: J and the Ruckus out ship out at Sam'stown. They
- 7:45Speaker 1: fucking ruled it is a good time. So I saw that.
- 7:48Speaker 1: I brought some friends. We went down to Samstown. We
- 7:50Speaker 1: saw Jay live. It was a fucking time. Like those
- 7:54Speaker 1: small bars hoot nanny bullshit, like we're everybody's up.
- 7:57Speaker 4: The reason that they're there this week is because of
- 8:00Speaker 4: the rodeo.
- 8:01Speaker 1: So the big National Finals rodeo is in town.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Cowboys everyone, So like these places don't even usually pay
- 8:06Speaker 2: to have bands, okay, and now that like rodeo shows
- 8:09Speaker 2: up and they're suddenly top dollar in town. Oh man,
- 8:12Speaker 2: like come on out, like let's have a fucking party.
- 8:15Speaker 1: It's ground is like a chill older bar or older casino.
- 8:18Speaker 1: It's it's like on the east side of town. It's
- 8:20Speaker 1: a little bit older part of town. And so it's
- 8:22Speaker 1: it's locals for sure. And then it's very much got
- 8:25Speaker 1: like a cowboy vibe to it. And you know, I again,
- 8:28Speaker 1: most weeks of the year not a very pop in place.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Fucking NFR week, dude, Jesus, it's full cowboys everywhere, and
- 8:37Speaker 1: like they're ready to go, they're ready to party, They're
- 8:39Speaker 1: ready to have it. They got in there, tore that
- 8:42Speaker 1: ship up. So I was line dancing with a bunch
- 8:44Speaker 1: of cowboys. Line dance Nope, but I had myself in time.
- 8:49Speaker 1: You know, it turns out a little whiskey. You can
- 8:52Speaker 1: line dance. I did briefly the after after the divorce.
- 8:56Speaker 2: The first woman I dated after the divorce was big
- 9:00Speaker 2: get into line dances, Okay, yeah. So we would go
- 9:02Speaker 2: to Stoney's often, like every week, every weekend we're down there.
- 9:08Speaker 1: It is cowboys, scoot and your Merry Christmas, everybody holiday party. Holiday.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Jacob and I were drinking at the bar before we
- 9:28Speaker 1: got it.
- 9:28Speaker 3: I see that. I thought we would have a holiday
- 9:30Speaker 3: party after after we recorded, and so I was a
- 9:34Speaker 3: plum Joel pre party.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Can do that too. There's really no rules here. We're
- 9:39Speaker 1: grown ups.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Whatever we want.
- 9:43Speaker 3: However, you did text in our group that you were
- 9:46Speaker 3: going to Sam's Club to watch Jay and the rest.
- 9:48Speaker 1: And I say that, and I was dying, and I.
- 9:51Speaker 3: Was like, what I really image plopped in my head
- 9:56Speaker 3: of s J at Sam's Club, Just.
- 9:59Speaker 1: Which to fucking go? Just pay multitask, you know, like
- 10:05Speaker 1: why isn't there a live band at sam? Good Costco? Move.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Well that's yeah pretty classy. Yeah, Sam's Club's not putting
- 10:13Speaker 1: out that kind of money. Costco wants the experience.
- 10:16Speaker 3: So I was dying laughing to.
- 10:17Speaker 1: Well, it was a great fucking time. It was so
- 10:20Speaker 1: much fun. My my friends that I brought had a
- 10:23Speaker 1: great time, and it's so yeah, oh well yeah I
- 10:27Speaker 1: drug them out there too, you know, so we had
- 10:29Speaker 1: a really great time. It's funny because at some point, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 10:33Speaker 1: these are this is my crew, you know, as we
- 10:35Speaker 1: call it the Hogs. You know, we're out there on
- 10:37Speaker 1: those scoots, so living our lives. Yeah, those things. But
- 10:42Speaker 1: at some point, like I had enough people that I
- 10:45Speaker 1: was just randomly pulling into this line dance bullshit with me.
- 10:49Speaker 1: SJ had to come down from the stage and this
- 10:51Speaker 1: thing has like a whole stage above the bar. It's
- 10:53Speaker 1: really nice, blaze like it's pretty cool. She had to
- 10:55Speaker 1: come down and like authoritatively stop me from ruining everything
- 11:02Speaker 1: and like teach me how to line. Like she's like,
- 11:04Speaker 1: all right, that's enough spinning around, you know, that's enough
- 11:10Speaker 1: going to hurt somebody. This is what you do. So
- 11:12Speaker 1: it was really full. So I started to figure it out.
- 11:15Speaker 1: You know, there's can you line dance.
- 11:17Speaker 3: Okay, I'm just gonna say no, it is the real answer.
- 11:20Speaker 3: But I love the idea of it, honestly.
- 11:25Speaker 2: No, I get what you're talking about, the theory of
- 11:28Speaker 2: line dance if you support this. Like for me, I'm
- 11:31Speaker 2: not a dancer. I'm not a dancers, but so it's
- 11:36Speaker 2: it's line dancing. It's easy to get into if you're
- 11:38Speaker 2: not really a dancer because like, you learn the moves,
- 11:42Speaker 2: you don't have to freestyle, you know, it's like this
- 11:44Speaker 2: is all choreographed, we know what we're supposed.
- 11:47Speaker 1: To do, and then it just it's it's made easy.
- 11:50Speaker 3: Yeah. Well, the foster care agency that we worked at together, Nick,
- 11:53Speaker 3: that you remember that they did a whole month where
- 11:56Speaker 3: every week they had a line dancer come in on
- 11:58Speaker 3: your lunch break. They would teach you how to line dance.
- 12:01Speaker 3: So I did that whole thing.
- 12:02Speaker 1: But that's aggravating, like you want me to do what
- 12:07Speaker 1: during my lunch break?
- 12:08Speaker 3: Oh, you didn't have to, but if you want it
- 12:10Speaker 3: so you could, but strongly incouraged. And then they had
- 12:13Speaker 3: a like contest by the end, and they like whittled
- 12:15Speaker 3: down little it down to like two or three people.
- 12:18Speaker 3: It was competitive the last week they I feel about
- 12:22Speaker 3: that was fun.
- 12:23Speaker 1: They called it doing lines. Yeah. The points of line
- 12:27Speaker 1: dancing is that it is so accepting and everybody's just
- 12:30Speaker 1: kind of doing their own thing.
- 12:31Speaker 3: Some people have their own like fla yeah, but you're
- 12:33Speaker 3: allowed to.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Just copy people and fumble around and so competitive line dancing.
- 12:37Speaker 1: I feel like that likes the spirit of the idea.
- 12:39Speaker 1: I don't like it. Jim line dance this week, and
- 12:42Speaker 1: he's got opinions about it. I see what we call
- 12:47Speaker 1: it traditional. Yeah, since earlier this week the game, all
- 12:55Speaker 1: these people doing it for money, do it for heart.
- 12:59Speaker 1: Jacob's seem like the kind of guy who can line down.
- 13:01Speaker 2: I I can.
- 13:02Speaker 1: I could do a couple of line dances, a few.
- 13:05Speaker 1: I can. I could pick him up quick.
- 13:06Speaker 4: That's the main thing. And I'm also uh confident and ridiculous.
- 13:12Speaker 3: That's all.
- 13:12Speaker 1: That's eight. I picked up on that really quick. That
- 13:17Speaker 1: if you are having a good time, everybody is.
- 13:22Speaker 2: If you're like vaguely on beat, yes, and you're just
- 13:25Speaker 2: having a good time, nobody cares.
- 13:27Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a great one.
- 13:29Speaker 2: You're not running into people's that's when people start getting.
- 13:32Speaker 1: A little frustrated. Stay in line.
- 13:34Speaker 4: The deal several years ago, quite a few years ago,
- 13:37Speaker 4: we started going to this country bar in town. They
- 13:40Speaker 4: had a disco ball shaped like an armadillo.
- 13:44Speaker 1: I mean, like that's all you need right then. Yeah. Uh.
- 13:49Speaker 4: They would have like big line dancing nights and I
- 13:51Speaker 4: would not line dance there because they took it seriously.
- 13:54Speaker 3: Oh yeah, get there.
- 13:58Speaker 4: If you didn't know what you were doing all ready,
- 14:00Speaker 4: you were gonna get run into. No, so once stay
- 14:05Speaker 4: over on the sides that like, we've got to watch
- 14:07Speaker 4: the line dancers go. And we had we had a
- 14:09Speaker 4: real good time making fun of them.
- 14:10Speaker 3: Yeah that works.
- 14:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I want to go to a place where I'm
- 14:12Speaker 1: except I don't know.
- 14:13Speaker 2: If they still do it anymore. I'm sure they do,
- 14:15Speaker 2: But like I know, before it was because there's two Stonies.
- 14:18Speaker 3: Now there was the North, like right down the street
- 14:21Speaker 3: from Okay.
- 14:22Speaker 1: So is that of the North now? Is that at
- 14:24Speaker 1: the Yeah.
- 14:26Speaker 4: I don't remember what it was called before it was
- 14:30Speaker 4: a country bar, but I think that might be the
- 14:32Speaker 4: bar I'm talking about.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Okay, it's I don't remember.
- 14:35Speaker 2: I think that might be the bar that I'm talking
- 14:37Speaker 2: about with the armadillo. It could be, yeah, because that's
- 14:41Speaker 2: what we just to go. I don't know what it
- 14:42Speaker 2: was called.
- 14:43Speaker 1: It was called the Disco Armadilla. But you get there.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Yeah, if you get there like before the crowds. I
- 14:48Speaker 2: think it was like eight thirty or nine o'clock or
- 14:50Speaker 2: something like that, they would teach you acount.
- 14:54Speaker 3: Yeah, I would.
- 14:55Speaker 1: That is the place. That is the place that I
- 14:57Speaker 1: went to. We are we signed up for line dancing? Yes? There,
- 15:02Speaker 1: it is team building exercises. If you don't know where
- 15:05Speaker 1: your Patreon money.
- 15:06Speaker 3: That's what they charged to get in.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Yeah. Us, but we've got these lines because they don't.
- 15:14Speaker 1: We got to spend this money yet we can't.
- 15:20Speaker 2: Line dancing.
- 15:22Speaker 1: Click sign up now. We can do the classes later,
- 15:26Speaker 1: but catch the check.
- 15:28Speaker 3: I'll be there.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Oh man, I would totally love to do that, like.
- 15:32Speaker 2: I got Speaking of taxes, I got so mad the
- 15:35Speaker 2: other day. It's December, yes and uh years, I'm a bitch,
- 15:42Speaker 2: But I was with that's Jay, this is good. This
- 15:43Speaker 2: is like the worst complaint ever. Uh so with That's
- 15:47Speaker 2: j Where at the Excalibur, we just met a coupleople there.
- 15:49Speaker 4: I'm leaving, I'm heading out to the car and uh
- 15:52Speaker 4: on the way out, a slot machine catches my eye
- 15:54Speaker 4: and so I'll put twenty bucks into it.
- 15:56Speaker 1: Since this is going I.
- 15:59Speaker 2: I I win an amount of money that they have
- 16:02Speaker 2: to bring a tax I want too much money, then.
- 16:09Speaker 1: Give some that that's where you go. Okay, hold on,
- 16:12Speaker 1: hold on, big tip for you, my man, there is
- 16:15Speaker 1: five hundred for you I have.
- 16:17Speaker 4: What if I just give you the ballot? Yeah, because
- 16:20Speaker 4: like anything over, I think twelve hundred. And it was
- 16:24Speaker 4: like it was like, you didn't do this on one spin?
- 16:26Speaker 1: I did.
- 16:27Speaker 2: Oh god, are you serious? That's why they had to
- 16:29Speaker 2: come over and pay it out.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Nobody wants to do that. Nobody wants to hear that.
- 16:35Speaker 4: Just it was a The reason it caught my eye
- 16:38Speaker 4: because like slot, but she doesn't just catch my eye.
- 16:40Speaker 4: The reason I caught my eye was it was on
- 16:42Speaker 4: the main floor, right next to the exit, and it
- 16:46Speaker 4: was a ten dollars a credit machine.
- 16:48Speaker 2: Oh wow.
- 16:49Speaker 4: It usually like it's a penny you credit Oh yeah,
- 16:52Speaker 4: so like a ten dollars per credit machine.
- 16:56Speaker 1: That means the cheapest spin you've got is ten dollars.
- 16:59Speaker 4: And so I went over and twenty bucks in and
- 17:01Speaker 4: did the and did the double and then and then
- 17:04Speaker 4: and it hit a hit a little thing.
- 17:07Speaker 3: Everything was just of a friend of mine. He will
- 17:10Speaker 3: go to the airport and just sit on the slots
- 17:12Speaker 3: and leave with three hundred bucks. And I'm like, who
- 17:14Speaker 3: does that?
- 17:15Speaker 1: Yeah, I've never wanted a machine. Those reverse atm You
- 17:20Speaker 1: just put in it and walk away.
- 17:22Speaker 2: The best I ever plaid a slot machine less than
- 17:26Speaker 2: thirty times, okay in all the years I've lived here, though,
- 17:28Speaker 2: I don't play slot machine.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Only when you sense it.
- 17:32Speaker 2: Literally I saw that, and I was like that because
- 17:34Speaker 2: normally for people who don't know a ten dollars machine
- 17:37Speaker 2: like you might find that in a high roller room.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Yeah, it would be Excalibur exactly. Yeah, that's whyn't.
- 17:44Speaker 4: I literally like noticed it out of the corner of
- 17:46Speaker 4: my eye and then looped back to see.
- 17:48Speaker 1: I was like, what the fuck is this thing?
- 17:50Speaker 2: Yeah, and then I was like that, I was curious
- 17:52Speaker 2: and I'm trying sometimes.
- 17:55Speaker 3: Wow, well, congrats on your taxes.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Yeah. I was like, I'm gonna do it o their
- 18:00Speaker 1: tax form now. All this is terrible, terrible, right, so bad,
- 18:08Speaker 1: such a sad thing.
- 18:09Speaker 3: So the bar tabs on Jacob.
- 18:12Speaker 2: Christmas, you didn't come to the pre party, That's right,
- 18:18Speaker 2: I did pick up.
- 18:22Speaker 1: I got my Christmas present I'm happy about it. Well,
- 18:25Speaker 1: speaking of Christmas presents, this episode is airing on Christmas,
- 18:29Speaker 1: I believe for the at least of the Patriots. And
- 18:33Speaker 1: so then the main show gets at the day after,
- 18:36Speaker 1: which means none of our partners can possibly have their
- 18:38Speaker 1: gifts spoiled by this show, except if Peter listens to
- 18:42Speaker 1: it at the crack ass of dawns.
- 18:44Speaker 3: Okay, he's behind He's a terrible piece.
- 18:47Speaker 4: This should be a weird time for me to find
- 18:49Speaker 4: out that es Jay listens to the show.
- 18:52Speaker 3: She's like, I already know.
- 18:54Speaker 1: The gifts one am. She knows she's finding at my closet.
- 18:59Speaker 1: So I'm curious what what everybody's picking up. I will
- 19:01Speaker 1: I'll share. So my wife has this habit of killing
- 19:05Speaker 1: all the plants which she ever bought. Do you relate
- 19:09Speaker 1: to this?
- 19:09Speaker 3: Yes, but it's kept like three alive and I still
- 19:12Speaker 3: want to buy more, like maybe that one will be different.
- 19:14Speaker 1: A bamboo, a cactus, and the bamboo I've.
- 19:16Speaker 3: Killed off before. The succulents that they say, no one
- 19:20Speaker 3: can kill.
- 19:21Speaker 1: This all day.
- 19:23Speaker 4: Have you tried the plants that are inside of home
- 19:28Speaker 4: depot that are made of plastic, that's.
- 19:31Speaker 3: Those are the ones that are my favorite.
- 19:34Speaker 2: Keep those.
- 19:35Speaker 3: They are thriving in my home because I do go
- 19:37Speaker 3: to those. Peter doesn't like fake plants. I'm like, well,
- 19:40Speaker 3: fuck you, plants that's on you every.
- 19:46Speaker 1: Year every season. Uh my my wife and daughter get
- 19:49Speaker 1: bit by the we need plants bug. And then I
- 19:52Speaker 1: try to talk to him like at some point it's immoral, like.
- 19:59Speaker 3: The house play pants, like Reddit thread because I'm like,
- 20:02Speaker 3: I must find out what does this mean? And what's
- 20:04Speaker 3: this easy plant? And don't ever buy that plant?
- 20:06Speaker 1: Like okay, fine, it's like what is the move here?
- 20:09Speaker 1: So I found this thing that I think is really
- 20:11Speaker 1: really cute. Remember Tamagotchi's Yeah, So they make this thing
- 20:16Speaker 1: called like it's it's some version. I don't know how
- 20:18Speaker 1: to say it, but it's like Plantagatchi. And so it's
- 20:20Speaker 1: this little like potted plant thing that has a digital
- 20:23Speaker 1: screen with a face on it and it basically tells
- 20:26Speaker 1: you when it's thirsty. So it is the plant like
- 20:29Speaker 1: you put the plant inside and it senses the temperature
- 20:32Speaker 1: of the plant, like the water level of the plant,
- 20:34Speaker 1: how much sunlight it's getting. It has like a spike
- 20:37Speaker 1: or a that the plant goes in and it's about
- 20:43Speaker 1: the size of a glass.
- 20:44Speaker 4: Like it's for smaller plants or flowers, like an office,
- 20:48Speaker 4: like a desk plant.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Yeah, like a desk plant or like a counter plant
- 20:51Speaker 1: something like that. But it's it detects all the light
- 20:54Speaker 1: that the plant's getting. It detects how much water is
- 20:56Speaker 1: in there. And then it has a little digital screen
- 20:58Speaker 1: where it has a little character face that is the
- 21:01Speaker 1: plant for you, that tells you when it's thirsty and stuff,
- 21:04Speaker 1: so to like like make a panting face and like
- 21:06Speaker 1: seem like it needs water. And then when you start
- 21:09Speaker 1: pouring water in it like gets really happy and like
- 21:11Speaker 1: sprouts up and like thanks you and stuff. So I
- 21:14Speaker 1: feel like if I can make the plant seem more human,
- 21:16Speaker 1: it will live. And so about this thing, and I'm
- 21:19Speaker 1: pretty excited about it.
- 21:20Speaker 3: I will say it was an application in there somewhere.
- 21:22Speaker 5: Well, yeah, the same thing, but horn, I mean corny.
- 21:32Speaker 1: I was favorite porn, corn porn. It is what they
- 21:36Speaker 1: say it is.
- 21:38Speaker 4: I haven't seen Cop Popper three.
- 21:47Speaker 2: Why would you think I haven't seen that?
- 21:53Speaker 1: Yeah, you introduced me to it.
- 21:56Speaker 3: That's right, we'll talk later.
- 22:00Speaker 1: We have so many family members and that's just a
- 22:04Speaker 1: kernel of the truth.
- 22:09Speaker 3: I thought you were going to see you got her
- 22:10Speaker 3: that app, like paid for the app that you like
- 22:13Speaker 3: take the picture or it scans your plant and then
- 22:15Speaker 3: it tells you what to do. If it's like the
- 22:20Speaker 3: so that looks rigs.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Have you seen these rigs that you can buy that
- 22:25Speaker 2: monitor all the stuff that you're saying.
- 22:27Speaker 1: But then it automatically does it. Oh, it automatically.
- 22:30Speaker 2: It has like a water tank and everything, so it
- 22:32Speaker 2: automatically does that.
- 22:33Speaker 1: And it'll like tell you if if you need to.
- 22:35Speaker 4: Pay attention to some robots, keep it well and it'll
- 22:38Speaker 4: just buzz your phone if you need to pay attention
- 22:39Speaker 4: to something.
- 22:40Speaker 3: That's a good idea. The other thing I was going
- 22:42Speaker 3: to say, what's kept my biggest plant alive and thriving
- 22:45Speaker 3: and very happy? Peter is Peter secretly watering it. I'm like,
- 22:52Speaker 3: I've done so great. He's like, no, it's just those
- 22:58Speaker 3: like glass bulbs with the Yeah. I mean, honestly, I'm
- 23:02Speaker 3: an overwater I overlove the plants.
- 23:04Speaker 1: Typically.
- 23:05Speaker 3: I think that's why the succulents don't do so well.
- 23:07Speaker 3: That's it and so and then I forget about the bamboo.
- 23:11Speaker 3: But like I'm doing opposite there. But my one like
- 23:15Speaker 3: big leafy plant that does well. I just have one
- 23:17Speaker 3: of those globes in there, and probably like every two weeks,
- 23:20Speaker 3: I fill it up and stick it in there and.
- 23:22Speaker 1: Nice, Yeah we've tried that, and then we forget to
- 23:25Speaker 1: refill the ball. Oh well what most people do with
- 23:28Speaker 1: the with the bold.
- 23:29Speaker 3: Oh no, I'm like on that ship. Yeah, but I
- 23:32Speaker 3: just will over. I will forget the last time I've
- 23:34Speaker 3: watered it, So I guess that to me is a memory, like, yeah,
- 23:37Speaker 3: it's more ingrained that I took it out when I'm watering.
- 23:40Speaker 1: There's a whole action instead of just walking past it. Yeah,
- 23:44Speaker 1: that makes sense. Nothing has ever survived.
- 23:47Speaker 3: I'm going to need any listeners that are good with
- 23:49Speaker 3: plants to throw in their suggestion. I also realized later,
- 23:52Speaker 3: are y'all giving your plants plant.
- 23:54Speaker 1: Food or no unless it comes with the purchase of
- 23:57Speaker 1: the plants?
- 23:58Speaker 6: An okay, patty, Yeah, nothing but the best for you.
- 24:15Speaker 3: And it still dies on me. Damn.
- 24:18Speaker 1: Plants are not vegan, many people think, so they're not,
- 24:22Speaker 1: thank you. So we'll see how that goes. It'll be fun.
- 24:25Speaker 1: I know it's not going to keep any plants alive,
- 24:28Speaker 1: but at least it will make us think about the
- 24:30Speaker 1: fact that they're dead, because like, I'm pretty sure the
- 24:33Speaker 1: little cartoon character like slowly dies, Yeah it does, it puts. Yeah,
- 24:40Speaker 1: I'm pretty sure that this at least is going to
- 24:43Speaker 1: be like a horrifying thing of like you name it,
- 24:45Speaker 1: and there's things going on.
- 24:48Speaker 2: So yeah, hopefully this will really draw the arrow with
- 24:50Speaker 2: the fact that your wife is killing these places. Yeah.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Yeah, this will be the last plant she kills, one
- 24:54Speaker 1: way or another. So anyway, that'll be fun.
- 24:57Speaker 3: Yeah. So Peter and I don't Bickley do gifts. That's like, uh,
- 25:03Speaker 3: I don't know, We'll do trips all of that. But
- 25:05Speaker 3: then what ends up happening is Christmas rolls around and
- 25:08Speaker 3: like somebody gets someone something.
- 25:10Speaker 1: Do you know what I mean, especially whenever the agreement
- 25:13Speaker 1: was not we're getting gifts I used to And then
- 25:15Speaker 1: also it's like, anyway, babe, I got you this diamond necklace.
- 25:17Speaker 3: I thought no for real, like one year, he's like,
- 25:19Speaker 3: here's a MacBook. I was like, oh no, thanks, well
- 25:22Speaker 3: I didn't get you shit. So I love you. I
- 25:25Speaker 3: love you this much. She said, oh no, and you
- 25:30Speaker 3: love me zero dollars.
- 25:31Speaker 1: I made you this construction paper guard.
- 25:34Speaker 3: I know. No, he's the hardest to shop for. So
- 25:37Speaker 3: that's why a few weeks back, actually just today was
- 25:40Speaker 3: going back in my texts with Jacob because he mentioned
- 25:44Speaker 3: those ear plugs.
- 25:45Speaker 1: Oh yeah, okay, and.
- 25:48Speaker 3: I literally what he said. I was like, that's what
- 25:49Speaker 3: I'm good for Christmas. So he gets some fucking ear plugs.
- 25:53Speaker 3: I am wife of the air for that. You're welcome.
- 25:55Speaker 3: The ones that Jacob keeps in is like, yeah, they're
- 25:58Speaker 3: like a keychain and reuse.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Let's see, uh right there, the only thing along with
- 26:04Speaker 1: a key, that's all he needs. It looks like a
- 26:06Speaker 1: little cocaine vial on my on my keys. I was
- 26:09Speaker 1: going to guess suppository, but yeah, it can be suppository
- 26:13Speaker 1: connected to my keys to not lose them. The suppository
- 26:18Speaker 1: or the keys the key.
- 26:19Speaker 2: Yeah, they are product. Yeah, this is it's just a
- 26:29Speaker 2: butt plug that's got like a key ring. Yeah, so
- 26:32Speaker 2: you never lose your keys. It could be it.
- 26:33Speaker 4: Could be in the podcast shop. There is and you
- 26:36Speaker 4: can have a little beaver tail. It hangs out and
- 26:40Speaker 4: we could call it Jim's tail of right.
- 26:43Speaker 1: There it is. You ever lost your surprise sharks I
- 26:49Speaker 1: need I.
- 26:50Speaker 3: Will tell you how bad of a WiFi, and my
- 26:53Speaker 3: my dad and my stepmom are actually getting peter a
- 26:56Speaker 3: like portable bonfire thingless one.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Yes, oh yeah, that's right.
- 27:02Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, smokeless bonfire portable in the same way that
- 27:08Speaker 3: like those the fire balls and stuff that you see.
- 27:10Speaker 2: Yeah, like like like those yeah, gotcha, gotcha, gosh, I
- 27:14Speaker 2: think it's electric now.
- 27:20Speaker 3: So it's like the design makes you smokeless.
- 27:22Speaker 4: It's got these vents at the top and the air.
- 27:25Speaker 4: The hot air causes the air to circulate in a
- 27:27Speaker 4: certain way, so it ends up sucking most of the
- 27:29Speaker 4: smoke back into itself.
- 27:30Speaker 3: That's so that should be coming tomorrow, So I have
- 27:33Speaker 3: to check before.
- 27:34Speaker 4: I have a couple of friends that have them. I
- 27:37Speaker 4: just and that is like what they are purported to do. Yeah,
- 27:42Speaker 4: the ones that I have been around, it seems like
- 27:45Speaker 4: there's a little less smoke than a regular like an
- 27:48Speaker 4: outdoor fire smoke less.
- 27:50Speaker 1: It's less less.
- 27:52Speaker 3: Does it give about heat? It does? Okay, that's what
- 27:56Speaker 3: I care most about, I think, or I think you will.
- 27:58Speaker 3: But anyway, so I'm like that it's a great gift
- 28:00Speaker 3: for him.
- 28:01Speaker 1: I got there.
- 28:02Speaker 3: You go, like, and our outdoor heater just broke like
- 28:07Speaker 3: two or three weeks ago. So he'll normally sit outside
- 28:10Speaker 3: like all winter long and has been going out. So
- 28:13Speaker 3: I'm like, well, I was thinking about getting another heater,
- 28:15Speaker 3: but then they mentioned that.
- 28:17Speaker 1: I like that. I'm sure he'll love the ear plugs.
- 28:21Speaker 3: Yeah, he's gonna love him.
- 28:23Speaker 1: It's gonna be like thanks, never to listen to this again.
- 28:32Speaker 1: That'll be great. So Nick, you're going with the tried
- 28:34Speaker 1: and true. What's the tried and true this positor? We're
- 28:38Speaker 1: just talking.
- 28:38Speaker 7: Oh yeah, wow.
- 28:45Speaker 2: We tend to do the same thing, like we always
- 28:47Speaker 2: say we're not going to get gifts and then like
- 28:49Speaker 2: we will find something. But here's the thing, like this year, Uh,
- 28:54Speaker 2: it's it's depressing to have a Christmas tree with no
- 28:56Speaker 2: gifts under it.
- 28:57Speaker 1: It is antime.
- 28:59Speaker 3: Did you wrap empty boxes?
- 29:04Speaker 2: We're not crazy.
- 29:10Speaker 1: Into shapes too. It's like a bike.
- 29:13Speaker 2: So Laura, Laura got her sister. Laura got her sister
- 29:18Speaker 2: a pooper scooper for the dog. And she didn't put
- 29:22Speaker 2: in a box or anything, just wrapped it just as
- 29:24Speaker 2: it is. Just no but what she does so she'll
- 29:29Speaker 2: get like gifts that she gets for her family she'll
- 29:32Speaker 2: put under the tree. But then she'll also like anything
- 29:35Speaker 2: that we buy like for each other anything small, will
- 29:38Speaker 2: wrap it, and so she's just every year she starts like, well,
- 29:42Speaker 2: let's not get anything. But then she's like, oh, I
- 29:45Speaker 2: found this thing, so I just kind of got this.
- 29:47Speaker 2: And then so she'll tell me about it so I
- 29:49Speaker 2: know what it is, and then she'll wrap it in
- 29:51Speaker 2: the tree.
- 29:53Speaker 1: You already know what is.
- 29:54Speaker 2: This year, she bought her a few she bought herself
- 29:58Speaker 2: a few items good and wrapped up, put it on
- 30:00Speaker 2: the tree.
- 30:01Speaker 1: And then she got several night books. Yes, she got us.
- 30:06Speaker 2: She got us matching crocskay, And so she put him,
- 30:13Speaker 2: she wrapped them up.
- 30:16Speaker 1: She wrapped him up and put him under the tree.
- 30:18Speaker 2: And I noticed the other day, like she even put
- 30:20Speaker 2: labels on everything, like ribbons and all this ship. And
- 30:25Speaker 2: so I looked at it and there's a box that
- 30:28Speaker 2: says two nick from Laura. And then there was another
- 30:32Speaker 2: box and it's to Laura from Laura.
- 30:34Speaker 1: Yes, yes, And I.
- 30:37Speaker 2: Was like, what's this and she's like, well, they're the crocs.
- 30:39Speaker 2: But I was like, I thought they were like our gifts,
- 30:44Speaker 2: just like well I bought themsive.
- 30:51Speaker 3: Do you do gifts from your pets or like two
- 30:54Speaker 3: year pets? My mom did that up. It was so
- 30:57Speaker 3: buddy to.
- 30:57Speaker 1: Be like from Magic, Oh, we have matching pajamas that
- 31:03Speaker 1: we wear as a family on Christmas morning.
- 31:05Speaker 3: And I'm going to need a picture one for the
- 31:06Speaker 3: dog took.
- 31:08Speaker 1: Yeah, so the dog absolutely is wearing the Christmas is
- 31:11Speaker 1: just the worst. I love it. I've got a terrible person.
- 31:14Speaker 1: I'll get my dog something.
- 31:15Speaker 3: Yeah, those and put them under.
- 31:17Speaker 1: It, also says from Laura.
- 31:19Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like, I mean, honestly, that should just be
- 31:24Speaker 2: the running joke now everything.
- 31:27Speaker 1: Yeah, Laura claws, but I think I might get.
- 31:31Speaker 2: Her a bird feeder that's got a camera.
- 31:36Speaker 3: She would love that. Oh my gosh, you heard that.
- 31:40Speaker 1: Not for the dog, for Laura, for both. Yeah, yeah, okay,
- 31:43Speaker 1: because we're just talking about things for your doughter, Okay,
- 31:46Speaker 1: got it?
- 31:47Speaker 3: Or like, uh, the I think they have bird feeders
- 31:49Speaker 3: that attach to like windows. Don't you have a window
- 31:52Speaker 3: right above your seat? That would be a cute bird.
- 31:55Speaker 2: You'll get a lot of hummingbirds we already get. Yeah,
- 31:58Speaker 2: there's like a couple of humming birds that we actually
- 32:00Speaker 2: already puts out a humming bird feeder and we get them.
- 32:02Speaker 2: We're lousy with hummingbirds.
- 32:04Speaker 3: Lowsy with them. I don't want to get tax forms.
- 32:11Speaker 2: You can get these bird feeders that have the cameras specifically.
- 32:14Speaker 1: For I didn't that much bothered by this.
- 32:19Speaker 2: I don't think I want to do that, though. I
- 32:20Speaker 2: want to get one that will have like a variety
- 32:23Speaker 2: of birds.
- 32:23Speaker 1: Yeah, but I love that idea. I love your optimism.
- 32:27Speaker 1: I don't know that there are a variety of birds.
- 32:29Speaker 3: No, No, it depends on, in my opinion, what feed
- 32:35Speaker 3: you get. Like I noticed when I switched the type
- 32:37Speaker 3: of feed I put in the bird fear, I got
- 32:39Speaker 3: different birds that come.
- 32:39Speaker 1: In for that.
- 32:40Speaker 4: Because we have fruit trees in the backyard, we get
- 32:42Speaker 4: bigger birds coming to our backyard and they keep all
- 32:46Speaker 4: the pigeons away.
- 32:47Speaker 1: Like the mocking bird.
- 32:48Speaker 2: We get mocking birds, crows, ravens, a couple of doves.
- 32:53Speaker 1: We get a lot of humming birds. Like I say,
- 32:55Speaker 1: we had a hawk in our backyard. There's there's a
- 32:58Speaker 1: hawk right around us. We see them all the time. Yeah,
- 33:01Speaker 1: he didn't like hang out in.
- 33:02Speaker 4: Our yard, but he's in the area. But yeah, like
- 33:05Speaker 4: the crows and the crows, ravens and mocking birds will
- 33:09Speaker 4: go after the pigeons, so they forcibly keep the pigeons out.
- 33:13Speaker 4: It's kind of great. We have a pair of we
- 33:15Speaker 4: have a pair of ravens that come hang out. Those
- 33:17Speaker 4: things are fucking monsters. Oh no, yeah, yeah, they are
- 33:20Speaker 4: very big. They come and sit on our back wall.
- 33:22Speaker 1: Wow. I mean they're like not much smaller than the peacocks.
- 33:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:27Speaker 1: No, they're big ol' honking things. They could take a Well,
- 33:29Speaker 1: your dogs can't be carried away like that, but mine could.
- 33:32Speaker 1: That little puppy could be stolen. That's what scares me
- 33:35Speaker 1: about hawks, because I feel like my dog is not
- 33:38Speaker 1: that different from a rabbit. You know, they're they're right
- 33:41Speaker 1: in that ball park.
- 33:43Speaker 4: So if I were you, I would not let your
- 33:44Speaker 4: dog go play in any open fields.
- 33:48Speaker 1: Yeah, it's probably good call. Yeah she runs away. Fortunately
- 33:51Speaker 1: it's not really an issue. Yeah, it doesn't come up
- 33:53Speaker 1: as much as i'd like. So, all right, bird feeder,
- 33:56Speaker 1: I like that.
- 33:56Speaker 2: What about for you? Jacob? I got asked Jay a
- 34:00Speaker 2: cowboy Christmas? I went over to, uh, cowboy we always
- 34:04Speaker 2: we often do a walk through Cowboy Christmas.
- 34:06Speaker 1: Absolutely not. She gets those from herself.
- 34:10Speaker 2: I think she has like six of them, no kidding, Uh,
- 34:15Speaker 2: but no, I got her something to wear on stage.
- 34:17Speaker 2: I got her a big, a big silver ring that
- 34:22Speaker 2: is in the shape of a cow skull and its
- 34:25Speaker 2: cover like her entire hand making a fist, like it
- 34:28Speaker 2: would cover the entire face of your hand there, and
- 34:31Speaker 2: it's uh. The cow skull itself is like inlaid with
- 34:33Speaker 2: carved bone that's mounted in silver. Like it's just it's
- 34:38Speaker 2: just because like holding a microphone, wearing that, it'll be hurt.
- 34:42Speaker 2: It's weird though that brass knuckles are illegal, but yeah
- 34:46Speaker 2: that's fine.
- 34:46Speaker 1: Oh yeah.
- 34:47Speaker 2: And it's like it's got a weight, yeah, yeah, that could.
- 34:50Speaker 2: Does it have the horns on it?
- 34:52Speaker 1: It does.
- 34:55Speaker 2: Flat against your hand, I guess, But I mean it's
- 34:58Speaker 2: it's a significant thing.
- 35:00Speaker 1: I like that as a performance piece. It's costume jewelry.
- 35:03Speaker 1: It's you know, yes, she's up there visible, she's holding
- 35:05Speaker 1: something that's great. And little spring mace out of its ear.
- 35:08Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, the red light up eyes. That'd be so cool.
- 35:13Speaker 2: There was a whole booth at so Cowboy Christmas is
- 35:16Speaker 2: like a big sales thing that happens during the rodeo
- 35:18Speaker 2: as well.
- 35:18Speaker 1: A bunch of vendors come in.
- 35:20Speaker 2: We always go walk through it because it's just hilarious, and.
- 35:23Speaker 4: They're all these crazy vendors. They are like a lot
- 35:25Speaker 4: of great vendors, but then there are a whole lot
- 35:26Speaker 4: of just batshit crazy vendors as well. And one of
- 35:29Speaker 4: the batshit crazy ones this year was just selling stun guns.
- 35:31Speaker 2: All different types of stun guns, and he's like over
- 35:35Speaker 2: there demonstrating them so that that noise, that cracky noise keeps.
- 35:39Speaker 1: Coming from over there.
- 35:41Speaker 4: And he's got like the like the full sized handheld ones.
- 35:44Speaker 4: He's got tasers that shoot the barbs. He's got rings
- 35:49Speaker 4: with stun guns mounted on the rings you could like
- 35:51Speaker 4: punch someone. And I was like, this is the craziest thing.
- 35:54Speaker 2: Oh wowow, And like I walked past it, like, you know,
- 35:58Speaker 2: as we're just walking along the aisle, you know, I
- 36:00Speaker 2: just kind of look over there, and he's like, hey,
- 36:02Speaker 2: come come check it out. I was like, no, man,
- 36:03Speaker 2: I'm good, I'm real good. I don't need to be
- 36:07Speaker 2: close to stun guns for really any reason. Any vendors
- 36:11Speaker 2: they're selling truck nuts. I didn't see any. Yeah, but yes, yes,
- 36:16Speaker 2: the answer is yes, I'm really now I'm regretting these
- 36:20Speaker 2: Christmas gifts. Yeah, dude, if you a truck nuts three
- 36:24Speaker 2: of you. Yeah, but I mean they would be tasteful
- 36:30Speaker 2: truck nuts, yeah, not excessive nuts.
- 36:34Speaker 1: I also got something else for us at driving Hell yeah,
- 36:45Speaker 1: that would be so awesome. What that is that.
- 36:54Speaker 2: Might be next year is the loser of the of
- 36:56Speaker 2: the quiz thing?
- 36:57Speaker 1: Yeah, I might have to just have some truck nuts
- 36:59Speaker 1: on you. Oh that sounds fantastic. I love it.
- 37:05Speaker 2: So I also got SJ something else and I need
- 37:07Speaker 2: advice on whether not to give it to or for
- 37:09Speaker 2: Christmas because it is one of the robot vacuums.
- 37:13Speaker 1: Okay, so it's the whole vacum.
- 37:16Speaker 4: It's a whole like you don't give your wife a
- 37:17Speaker 4: vacuum for Christmas. So we have a robot vacuum, but
- 37:22Speaker 4: it's it's well out of date now, so it just
- 37:25Speaker 4: it rolls around everything. So I want to put that
- 37:27Speaker 4: one back in our in our kind of guest area
- 37:29Speaker 4: of the house and it'll be great back there. And
- 37:32Speaker 4: then I got a new fangled one that has the
- 37:35Speaker 4: tower and everything, so it empties itself and does all
- 37:37Speaker 4: that stuff and it'll go it's supposed to, you know,
- 37:40Speaker 4: sixty days or whatever between the emptying the thing. It
- 37:44Speaker 4: will also fully map out the area and it'll do that,
- 37:47Speaker 4: like you can see it on your phone. You can
- 37:50Speaker 4: tell it, you know, like vacuum, go vacuum the kitchen. Cool,
- 37:54Speaker 4: and it will go vacuum the kitchen. It'll like scan
- 37:57Speaker 4: the whole the whole thing.
- 37:58Speaker 1: That's really cool. Is that a good Christmas presenter? Is
- 38:01Speaker 1: that just like uh like, uh get that for you
- 38:04Speaker 1: later present? Huh?
- 38:06Speaker 2: Or just like, hey, I got us a new vacuum.
- 38:08Speaker 1: That's a good New Year's Eve present. Well, the thing is,
- 38:12Speaker 1: our anniversary is right before New Year's Eve.
- 38:14Speaker 3: I was gonna say, if there's a gift like for
- 38:16Speaker 3: both to celebrate both y'all likes.
- 38:21Speaker 1: Anniversary and birthday all in one, it's it's too.
- 38:25Speaker 2: I present to and be like, look, I can set
- 38:29Speaker 2: this thing up and tell it and like you set
- 38:32Speaker 2: the timer and everything on it, and it will actually
- 38:34Speaker 2: just in theory, it should actually just vacuum the areas
- 38:37Speaker 2: it's supposed to vacuum at night while we're asleep.
- 38:39Speaker 1: That's yeah, it's like that that would be great.
- 38:42Speaker 3: Wake up.
- 38:43Speaker 1: I'm a big fan of of like gifts for the
- 38:45Speaker 1: house or gifts for the family, Like I really want
- 38:47Speaker 1: a new kitchen sink, because mine, Oh fucking crazy. I
- 38:52Speaker 1: have one of those motion sensitive ones where you has
- 38:55Speaker 1: a little seeing eye thing, a motion sensor, and whenever
- 38:58Speaker 1: you pass like you put your hand in front of it,
- 38:59Speaker 1: it turns on and you put your hand in front
- 39:01Speaker 1: of it again turn off, which is the dumbest fucking
- 39:04Speaker 1: thing on the kitchen sink, because it turns out you
- 39:06Speaker 1: move a lot in front of it to wash on.
- 39:09Speaker 3: The side, so then you have to wave like mine
- 39:12Speaker 3: is right in the front points just have a hand
- 39:17Speaker 3: a handle if your hands are like all dirty, you
- 39:21Speaker 3: don't have to touch things. You just wave it and
- 39:23Speaker 3: then you can wash.
- 39:23Speaker 1: The theory of it, there's there's definitely arguments that this
- 39:27Speaker 1: could be useful, but the way mine is designed it
- 39:30Speaker 1: is not.
- 39:30Speaker 2: So you don't want a new kitchen sink, you want
- 39:31Speaker 2: a new foster.
- 39:32Speaker 3: Yeah, you can get a new faucet.
- 39:33Speaker 2: Well, I think, yeah, imagine replacing the sink.
- 39:38Speaker 1: Then they put their enjoy a kitchen sink do you
- 39:45Speaker 1: have right now? I'm not aware. I don't know what
- 39:47Speaker 1: it looks like it feel is it?
- 39:49Speaker 2: Guys? Okay?
- 39:50Speaker 1: Yes, that's metal, Yeah, it's like to metal. Yeah, okay,
- 39:53Speaker 1: so it's a good size. You like the size of it.
- 39:55Speaker 1: It's all fine, just but god damn it, you just
- 39:58Speaker 1: need to do you just need to new foss. I'm ready.
- 40:00Speaker 1: But if she got that as a Christmas gift and
- 40:02Speaker 1: was like, hey here, like okay, obviously it's for the
- 40:05Speaker 1: whole family, but like thank you, Like no, we're.
- 40:08Speaker 2: Good, because like that's sounds like she needs to get
- 40:10Speaker 2: you that.
- 40:11Speaker 1: Well yeah, like that's what I'm saying. I would love
- 40:12Speaker 1: a gift like that, like a house gift. I think
- 40:14Speaker 1: that's fine, And that's what we will usually do.
- 40:17Speaker 2: We both want We'll say we're not going to get
- 40:19Speaker 2: each other gifts, but then we like, let's get ourselves
- 40:23Speaker 2: this thing.
- 40:24Speaker 1: I love that idea because I mean we're all adults,
- 40:26Speaker 1: like a lot of us. If we really want something,
- 40:28Speaker 1: we're not waiting months to go get right. Yeah, you
- 40:31Speaker 1: probably got it for yourself at some point. We live
- 40:32Speaker 1: in the age of Amazon. For christ you just hit
- 40:34Speaker 1: a button.
- 40:35Speaker 3: I feel like that is dashboard cam I want to
- 40:40Speaker 3: get us looking for I didn't have them.
- 40:45Speaker 1: I want one.
- 40:45Speaker 3: That's what I want. That to be our big gift.
- 40:48Speaker 3: I think it a robot vacuum.
- 40:51Speaker 1: Yeah. Also, like people don't do this and I understand
- 40:55Speaker 1: why it's not cute. It's not romantic, but like an
- 40:58Speaker 1: act of service, like I just have big ass chores
- 41:01Speaker 1: over my head that like I've been putting here for
- 41:03Speaker 1: romantic depending on the service. Yeah, if it was like, hey,
- 41:06Speaker 1: I took care of this cartanding, you know, I knew
- 41:10Speaker 1: you were playing on jerking yourself off at some boy.
- 41:13Speaker 1: Here's a coupon.
- 41:14Speaker 3: I'll do this for you, Maria.
- 41:18Speaker 1: Thank you for that. Well, very cool. So, speaking of gifts,
- 41:21Speaker 1: we should probably take a quick break and when we
- 41:24Speaker 1: come back, we should probably talk a little bit about
- 41:25Speaker 1: the gifts exchanges. Uh, stay with us, friends. When we
- 41:29Speaker 1: come back, we're doing gifts, and then at the end

- 47:50Speaker 1: not read it. Oh, I'm pretty excited for it. Actually,
- 47:53Speaker 1: you know, it's funny. I actually was going to sign
- 47:55Speaker 1: up for this thing that was like a geography fact
- 47:58Speaker 1: today and uh that it costs money, but you need
- 48:01Speaker 1: so much more than a geography.
- 48:03Speaker 2: I'll just I'll do that for free for you, just
- 48:06Speaker 2: one thing every day, one geography.
- 48:08Speaker 1: You know this. So somebody, you know, Alabama is north
- 48:12Speaker 1: of Florida. Somebody posted on our discord that picture of
- 48:16Speaker 1: the chef on that is a you know we made
- 48:23Speaker 1: so much like this is really helpful. And it's like
- 48:26Speaker 1: the chef's name is Mimus and he's grilling Kentucky. And
- 48:28Speaker 1: it was like, oh my god. And so I feel
- 48:30Speaker 1: like I'm really good at this now. So yeah, I
- 48:33Speaker 1: don't know what the m is for Minnesota, Okay, in
- 48:35Speaker 1: the Iowa and then Missouri and then Arkansas. Yeah, South Carolina,
- 48:44Speaker 1: ah Mi sucked you up. Yeah my mole or something
- 48:50Speaker 1: that was it. Louisiana. He's got Tennessee as a frying pan,
- 48:57Speaker 1: and he's got Kentucky in the frying the chicken cool man.
- 49:01Speaker 1: See why can't the penis? There's that one that's a
- 49:06Speaker 1: lot easier cut off and laying on the floor for
- 49:08Speaker 1: some reason. Uh what's his name? Ramsey or uh no, Bobby?
- 49:16Speaker 1: John Wayne? That's did I tell you I met him once?
- 49:19Speaker 2: No?
- 49:20Speaker 1: I did? Is so rare. What did you shake? I
- 49:24Speaker 1: don't know what I had talking about. John Wayne Bobbitt
- 49:28Speaker 1: got his penis cut off by his wife. His big
- 49:30Speaker 1: story in the nineties.
- 49:31Speaker 3: Ok, yeah, yeah, and.
- 49:35Speaker 1: Later became a porn star and went to W W
- 49:37Speaker 1: E and had a whole like that one big old
- 49:40Speaker 1: cameo with them. So apparently he blew through the porn
- 49:43Speaker 1: star or you could call it American dream there was that.
- 49:48Speaker 3: I won't look that up.
- 49:50Speaker 1: Yeah, So he blew through all that that Hollywood money
- 49:53Speaker 1: and became a professional mover. And so he was. He
- 49:56Speaker 1: was a mover once that I had hired. So I
- 49:58Speaker 1: was like, okay, so you hired him as a mover. Well,
- 50:02Speaker 1: no for the sex, but obviously through the moving people. Oh,
- 50:06Speaker 1: he's currently living in Las Vegas. You know he lives here,
- 50:09Speaker 1: is absolutely still here. So shout out to John. He's
- 50:12Speaker 1: a really great guy and.
- 50:14Speaker 2: He lost his toes.
- 50:18Speaker 1: He's battle with extremities. Well, anyway, back to the Christmas party.
- 50:23Speaker 1: All right, you want some Christmas part John Wayne Bobbit. Yeah,
- 50:28Speaker 1: I'll go last. I'll go last. Right, here we go.
- 50:31Speaker 1: I got you each the same. Oh it looks like
- 50:33Speaker 1: a sand Oh my god, it's a sandwich.
- 50:36Speaker 3: Sandwich? Is that a bobby?
- 50:38Speaker 1: I do hope you're hungry? Oh? Yes, what is okay?
- 50:42Speaker 1: So this is a newspaper wrapped? Is this electric tape?
- 50:45Speaker 1: That's aluminum tape tape round a newspaper aluminum.
- 50:52Speaker 2: This is legitimately a straight up newspaper. This is the
- 50:55Speaker 2: Las Vegas Sun from Tuesday, December tenth. Oh, it's not
- 50:59Speaker 2: a sandwich. I'm disappointed. I was really excited.
- 51:04Speaker 1: There what's inside?
- 51:06Speaker 2: Oh?
- 51:06Speaker 1: There it is Jesus Christ? What the fuck? Wrapped piece
- 51:18Speaker 1: of corn? Where was this make? And you can eat that?
- 51:23Speaker 1: You can? You can just rip that open now you
- 51:26Speaker 1: can eat it right? And it is please for it
- 51:31Speaker 1: is made by Diso Industries courtesy of Japan Ingredients. But
- 51:35Speaker 1: it's a product of Highland.
- 51:37Speaker 3: Ingredients, corn and water.
- 51:39Speaker 1: Do they make corn in Thailand? Did you guys also

- 52:10Speaker 2: good store. Yeah, you yourself a picture off lounges. Yeah,
- 52:19Speaker 2: going on. Don't give me about the size because I

- 52:50Speaker 2: I cannot believe, but I did to be not to brag,
- 52:55Speaker 2: but I spent about two thousand yen.
- 53:01Speaker 1: We're special, so I guess we're obligated to have sex.
- 53:06Speaker 1: That's all right. I like, I love it. I cannot
- 53:11Speaker 1: believe that they have the shrink wrapped. I like the
- 53:13Speaker 1: like the vacuum sealed corn.
- 53:15Speaker 2: Somebody is going to crack that opening different parts.
- 53:20Speaker 3: Everything's in plastic, plastic everything?
- 53:24Speaker 1: What you got there with me?
- 53:25Speaker 3: All right? I have a gift wrapped like Santa Claus's belt.
- 53:30Speaker 3: Unbuckle the belt, jim This is only for jim because, yeah,
- 53:36Speaker 3: because I don't like buying gifts, just because it has
- 53:39Speaker 3: to be like I thought of you, Jimmy.
- 53:42Speaker 1: This is something else for a little Jimmy. It's also corn.
- 53:46Speaker 3: Okay, corn and water.
- 53:49Speaker 1: Oh it's a Christmas vacation moose mug sets. These are
- 53:54Speaker 1: like champagne moose mugs. Yeah, they're made out of.
- 54:01Speaker 2: Oh a colleague, the finest the cry.
- 54:06Speaker 1: Actually the movie. I didn't realize.
- 54:11Speaker 3: I know that you mentioned that, being like the movie
- 54:14Speaker 3: you watch every year, and I've literally had that sitting
- 54:17Speaker 3: under my stairs for like two years from a friend
- 54:20Speaker 3: gifting it to me. I'm not I've like never seen
- 54:22Speaker 3: the movie maybe once, and I was like, I have
- 54:24Speaker 3: the perfect gift.
- 54:25Speaker 1: Who wants this?
- 54:27Speaker 2: Full honesty, I've had the corn sitting under my stairs
- 54:31Speaker 2: for two years as well, So.
- 54:34Speaker 3: That explains at Nonmber of twenty two, Okay, you what
- 54:41Speaker 3: have you been doing with this corn?
- 54:43Speaker 1: Oh my god, I love it. Whitney, this is fantastic.
- 54:47Speaker 3: You're welcome.
- 54:48Speaker 1: Yes, it actually is because I only I do have
- 54:50Speaker 1: a set, and I have two. Yeah I do, Yeah, yeah,
- 54:55Speaker 1: I have the same set. You can regive the mind,
- 54:57Speaker 1: but I need four because I can only ever have
- 54:59Speaker 1: them just me and one other person. But I have
- 55:02Speaker 1: a household of force. And now we can all pot
- 55:05Speaker 1: and we can all see what you did. Whitney children
- 55:10Speaker 1: love it. They now they're drinkers.
- 55:15Speaker 2: Yeah, we're all happy.
- 55:17Speaker 1: So I have a very unique gift this year. As
- 55:21Speaker 1: as most of you know, I didn't need to text
- 55:23Speaker 1: Nick for personal information. I'm gonna I'm gonna give his
- 55:26Speaker 1: gifted song this year. So you can all check your emails.
- 55:31Speaker 1: I actually just sent you your gifts. But I finally
- 55:35Speaker 1: found a way to solve my little Spirit Airlines problem.
- 55:40Speaker 3: Hell, yes, are we going to Hobocon. I'm like, how
- 55:45Speaker 3: are we going?
- 55:46Speaker 2: What?
- 55:48Speaker 1: I have to see that finally used point and I'm
- 55:52Speaker 1: very very happy about it. I'm done with the points forever.
- 55:56Speaker 1: They have nothing on me. It's yours buck, Chicago. You
- 56:01Speaker 1: got meat tickets to New Orleans.
- 56:03Speaker 3: I'm going to San Antonio.
- 56:05Speaker 1: All on Christmas Day. There are one way tickets. Okay.
- 56:08Speaker 1: Jacobs has a six hour layover in Texas. Wait where
- 56:14Speaker 1: in Texas? Wherever George Bush Airport is Houston?
- 56:18Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 56:19Speaker 1: Yeah, oh that can actually be convenience.
- 56:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 56:22Speaker 1: I got sick and tired of these points, and so
- 56:25Speaker 1: now you can all deal with them. Don't want to go,
- 56:28Speaker 1: I don't give a fuck, but they're your tickets. You
- 56:30Speaker 1: can do whatever you want. I don't feel like this
- 56:31Speaker 1: is a gift. No, no, it's not.
- 56:34Speaker 3: This is hilarious.
- 56:35Speaker 1: I'm really happy about it. So I couldn't find Iowa.
- 56:38Speaker 1: So Chicago was a man out of Las Vegas. Yeah,
- 56:42Speaker 1: I know where that was.
- 56:44Speaker 2: New Orleans.
- 56:44Speaker 1: Happened to be there, just with a six hour layover.
- 56:47Speaker 1: So he will not technically get there until the day after.
- 56:50Speaker 1: I think on the twenty seventh. He's going to be
- 56:51Speaker 1: in so many areas.
- 56:52Speaker 2: His spear one of these things that where we can
- 56:54Speaker 2: like bounce the ticket, can you just reschedule it or whatever?
- 56:58Speaker 1: Maybe hear it. Yeah, that's what I'm They hang up
- 57:02Speaker 1: on you. I'm pretty sure that's how that works.
- 57:04Speaker 3: I think they charge you.
- 57:05Speaker 1: Yeah, and then Whitney, you're going to San Antonio because
- 57:08Speaker 1: I don't know where you live in Texas and that's where.
- 57:13Speaker 2: Oh I get in at eleven fifty eight pm.
- 57:16Speaker 1: Yeah, wow, so I don't know what you guys are
- 57:18Speaker 1: doing with your Christmas.
- 57:20Speaker 3: I didn't even see the time for mine. Hold on, Yeah,
- 57:24Speaker 3: twenty fifth at eight thirty am. So that's a no.
- 57:27Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, you guys definitely cannot carpool. I think you're
- 57:30Speaker 1: all leaving at different times on red eyes. Everyone.
- 57:34Speaker 2: Look a look at the reservation that he sent you,
- 57:36Speaker 2: because mine is for Jim.
- 57:39Speaker 1: Yeah no, I had to book it under my spirit points,
- 57:42Speaker 1: have to spend it on it, right, but Dick's under
- 57:44Speaker 1: your name. This is passenger name, mister James Joben. Now
- 57:47Speaker 1: look at your boarding.
- 57:48Speaker 3: Pass Okay, I got to see hold.
- 57:50Speaker 1: On, Yeah, there's an attached boarding pass on you.
- 57:53Speaker 2: This has passenger passenger information right here, job Jobin.
- 57:58Speaker 1: On your attached boarding pass. Yeah that's the I don't know. Yeah, yeah,
- 58:04Speaker 1: this is all.
- 58:04Speaker 2: This is all confirmation. Look at your boarding passes. I'm
- 58:09Speaker 2: looking at my boarding pass right now. Yeah, yours the
- 58:11Speaker 2: gift that keeps giving. Yeah, phone, look where Gym's going.
- 58:20Speaker 2: Get these points right back to you.
- 58:22Speaker 1: Yeah, I think I think this is you.
- 58:24Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, Jim, if you did that.
- 58:26Speaker 1: I would never I would never, no, never, again because
- 58:31Speaker 1: I can't see the boarding pass yet. Oh it's attached.
- 58:33Speaker 1: It's a PDF. Do you guys not see the attachment? Yeah, yeah,
- 58:39Speaker 1: I see it. I see the attachment there. I'm also
- 58:41Speaker 1: looking at mine on.
- 58:41Speaker 4: A laptop and oh, yeah, you have the attachment because
- 58:45Speaker 4: you have ice layover in Texas.
- 58:47Speaker 1: So enjoy that.
- 58:50Speaker 3: Thanks jes Thanks Jim.
- 58:55Speaker 1: Enjoy Christmas. I'm so confused. Don't spend it with your
- 58:57Speaker 1: families anymore. So there's only one and it's a one
- 59:00Speaker 1: way ticket. I don't know how, I don't care. I
- 59:02Speaker 1: don't give a ship.
- 59:03Speaker 2: I'm done.
- 59:05Speaker 1: No more points for Tim.
- 59:07Speaker 3: You close out the card, okay?
- 59:11Speaker 1: Yeah, the bankrupt so they no longer issue credit cards.
- 59:15Speaker 1: I think it's because it's illegal for them to carry debt.
- 59:17Speaker 3: It declines if you try and use.
- 59:19Speaker 1: Yeah, my card's dead, so I cannot accumulate any more points.
- 59:23Speaker 3: They had to go bankrupt for Jim to get out
- 59:25Speaker 3: of this.
- 59:26Speaker 1: Yeah, so situation. Enjoy that. I mean I think you
- 59:30Speaker 1: just did nothing. Yeah, because none of you are going
- 59:35Speaker 1: nobody's going to ruin their Christmas anyway.
- 59:44Speaker 3: I'm going to see if I can transfer it to Oh.
- 59:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I definitely.
- 59:46Speaker 2: I'm definitely gonna see if I can do something with it.
- 59:48Speaker 1: Yeah, I bet I can't. Yeah, well, I think it
- 59:51Speaker 1: will be especially hard because they're not real. Uh yeah, no,
- 59:54Speaker 1: I just bought those. Yeah, those are all photoshop. Here
- 59:57Speaker 1: are your real presence. Yeah, there's a name on each one.
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: But for me there, I kind of wanted to go
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: to yeah oh hair. Yeah no, I had a really
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: fun afternoon photoshopping.
- 1:00:12Speaker 3: Yeah. I was wondering. I was like, this is fake QR.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: Code go to then? Oh yeah, no, I actually took
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: some time on this. The QR code does actually direct
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: to somewhere useful. I was going to make that like
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: a porn website or something, as I knew one of
- 1:00:25Speaker 1: you would scan it. But yeah no. I actually also
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: really did look up flights that were really leaving out
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: of Las Vegas on Spirit. Those are all real flights,
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: figured out the codes. Put the actual codes on your ticket,
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: just in case one of you decided.
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: To check it. Except all cookies, No, thank you, I'm
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: not gonna don't trust it'll be five.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: It'll be five cookies.
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: You all have the same gifts, so you can open
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: It's a gift card.
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: Enjoy the Spirit.
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: Uh.
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: Other popstro Yeah, that's a better team building exercise the line, Yeah,
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: Jacob pop stroke, Yeah, you could do both. Yeah.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: I tried to find gift cards to spirit. They do
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: not exist. Turns out nobody would ever do that. He
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: would ever give somebody me gift. It's just cool.
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: It'd be like buying them a ticket.
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: Yeah, you would never do that to an actual human being. No, Sadly,
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: I still have all of my Spirit points. They're non transferred. Yeah,
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: I cannot buy other people tickets. I cannot transfer the points.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: I cannot use the points for any other purpose except
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: to get on those god forsaken yellow planes and go
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: off into the horizon. So enjoy your pop strokes. That'll
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: be fun.
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: Yay, you guys got pop stroke too, Yeah, all the
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: same one.
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: Okay, we're gonna go with Jim, doesn't.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: You got a bunch of them going anyway? All right,
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: So that concludes the gift giveth on. I believe we
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: should probably take another break, and when we come back,
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: we have the epic conclusion to the doctorate title fight.
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: You're listening to pod Therapy.
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: Today's Christmas is brought to you by Judy Schneier, Leona
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: Carolyn Albert, Sammy Scoop, Sarah Smith, Mike Helm, Darren Cunningham,

- 1:02:28Speaker 2: if you would like to sponsor our show, become a theraproducer.
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: At patreon dot com sash Therapy.
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: Okay, do you want more?
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: Trivia? Is the closer to the Let Jacob go last
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: as Nick? What is the record for the tallest snow person? Uh?
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: Hold on the record, I'm sorry. The record for the
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: tallest snow person is held by a snow woman named Olympia,
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: built in Bethel, Maine, USA. Come deleted on February twenty sixth,
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: two thousand and eight. Oh wow, Olympia stood how tall?
- 1:03:06Speaker 1: All right? Closest without going over closest to the pin
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: closest about going over all right? Going prices right right?
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: It doesn't say that, but let's do that. Let's go
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: with feet. I feel like we're going to use the
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: US in this.
- 1:03:19Speaker 4: I need to know is there some kind of structure inside?
- 1:03:22Speaker 4: Like can they use some fucking rebar and like build
- 1:03:25Speaker 4: some snow around it? I think that called only snow.
- 1:03:28Speaker 1: It's got to be snow. Otherwise, who the fuck cares right,
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: you can build a sculpture.
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: Did the cotton candy sculpture with Alley down to Texas?
- 1:03:35Speaker 4: That had to be it was very specific. It had
- 1:03:37Speaker 4: to be all cotton candy. You didn't have anything inside
- 1:03:39Speaker 4: of the struggle with.
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: That, I feel like that's got to be the rule,
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: which really opens up a question of how big can
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: you really build this ship before it falls apart? Then
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: it can turn into ice. I'm going to go with
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: can pack pretty Yeah, I'm going to go high. I'm
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: going to go give me thirty.
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: Feet is one like floor of a building? Ten feet?
- 1:04:00Speaker 2: Yes?
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: Fish is hyeah.
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: Okay, I'm gonna say I want to say something crazy,
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: like one hundred feet crazy.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: Crazy when you're going crazy party Jesus, thirty thousand feet.
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: I'm going to say the moon. I'm going to go smaller.
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: I'm going to go twenty two feet.
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: Okay, under so you said and thirty and what you
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: say hundred, I'll say one hundred and one. You're going
- 1:04:32Speaker 2: on the over again. I think it's over. Jacob wins
- 1:04:36Speaker 2: one hundred and twenty two feet and I was a
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: little closer. There's no way they built it under one
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: hundred feet. If they're doing the Guinness Book thing.
- 1:04:47Speaker 3: The Guinness always shocks me with the ship that people
- 1:04:50Speaker 3: can do. I'm like, how yeah.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: What is like they wouldn't even publish it.
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: If it was like, oh yeah, thirty feet or something,
- 1:04:58Speaker 2: I would even publish that. Ye, twelve stories. What is
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: the first kids could do a thirty foot thing? Like
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: over a weekend? Yeah, that's true. What is the total
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: number of items in the twelve days of Christmas? If
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: you add all all of the gifts given each day,
- 1:05:14Speaker 2: keeping in mind that the gifts are cumulative. For example,
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: the twelfth day, all the previous gifts are repeated. Yeah.
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: Fuck. Do you remember the math for this? It's like
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: it's a number and then there's like a nation point.
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:05:29Speaker 4: I literally just talking about a factorial math like a
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: couple of weeks ago.
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: I don't know how to do it, but I was
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: talking about it. That's close. I feel like I have
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: half a point in this room.
- 1:05:41Speaker 2: Yeah, we're impressed.
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: I've discussed factorial math recently.
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: It's closest without going over. Yeah, I'm not going to
- 1:05:49Speaker 3: do the math and I'm just going to say five hundred.
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go twelve hundred.
- 1:05:57Speaker 3: I was going to say a thousand. At first, I
- 1:05:59Speaker 3: feel like that was instane.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: Ridiculous. I want seventy eight. Okay, seventy eight.
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: I don't even know.
- 1:06:10Speaker 4: Ah, five hundred, I don't know.
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: Okay, wait, what did you have?
- 1:06:15Speaker 3: I had five hundred?
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: Oh you had five hundred. Oh okay, I'll go. So
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: we're adding them up any one about four hundred. Yeah,
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: it's just not the total number of items that have
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: been mentioned. It's every verse added together, over and over
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: and over.
- 1:06:29Speaker 3: Like this, every road, every day.
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: That's another eighteen things. Okay, I'm still going to eleventy
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: eight because I think that they meant something else. Okay,
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: And what was yours?
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: I think I said four hundred, Yeah, okay, gym wins
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: three hundred and sixty four?
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: Yeah, idiots much. I know how to math.
- 1:06:55Speaker 3: And a thousand was too much?
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: What is twelve? Fact? Horror? Oh geez, she needs she.
- 1:07:05Speaker 3: Has thought expand we're not expanding.
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: I know.
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: She was like, show me the whole thing.
- 1:07:12Speaker 7: Last one, I map, make this map, Oh, go ahead.
- 1:07:24Speaker 2: Featured on The Tonight Show in two thousand and three.
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: What is the oldest known fruitcake in the United States?
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: Baked by Fidela Ford of Tacumsa, Michigan. The oldest known fruitcake.
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: My I was waiting.
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: I was liberci. I don't know.
- 1:07:47Speaker 3: Years old.
- 1:07:50Speaker 1: I did not listen to the question at all.
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: Standing fat on the Tonight Show in two thousand and three,
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: what is the oldest known fruitcake in the United States?
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: Baked by Fidelia Fidelia Ford of Tecumson, Michigan.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: Does it say what a year she baked it?
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: Because she really show Is this the oldest known fruitcake?
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: Or is this the oldest known fruitcake baked by her?
- 1:08:16Speaker 2: Right?
- 1:08:16Speaker 3: Tricky twelve hours.
- 1:08:20Speaker 4: I'll say that she went. I'll say that she baked
- 1:08:23Speaker 4: that in u eighteen eighteen twenty four. Okay, so she lived,
- 1:08:32Speaker 4: that's right, almost two hundred years. I don't think she's
- 1:08:34Speaker 4: so live.
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: I think the fruitcake out landed down. She baked the fruitcake.
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: It's just it's still a right. It's going to exceed
- 1:08:42Speaker 1: a human I assumed she was on the Tonight Show.
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: I don't think so. I think she's dead. It's yeah,
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: that's a grandchild is showing you the fruit. It's like
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: under under glasses, you're going pre civil I'm saying eighteen. Yeah,
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: I'm saying eighteen twenty four. You're going to make me
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: do maths. I figure out how many years ago?
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: That was? Twenty four now? Yeah, I know I can't
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: handle that two hundred I can't. Can someone check him?
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: Yeah? No, I can't. I'm upset that you have to
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: go with I do geometry.
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: I'm going to say. I'm gonna say, I'm going to
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: say one hundred and twenty five years.
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: Okay, two hundred and one to twenty five? Where are
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: you going with this?
- 1:09:23Speaker 3: So this is like they're saying, it's still here was
- 1:09:26Speaker 3: the kid and it was presented in two thousand and three?
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: Yeah, they had it on the Tonight Show in two thousand.
- 1:09:31Speaker 3: And three, and you said how many?
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: I said one twenty five?

- 1:09:39Speaker 4: hundred years now I'm gonna go allegedly, Yeah, I want
- 1:09:44Speaker 4: seventeen hundreds, but I'm going back to founding of America.
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: Wait a minute, this picture from Michigan. Never mind, I'd
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: like to change my answer. I love Jacob laughs away
- 1:09:59Speaker 1: from all right, never mind, I would like to bring
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: that up a little bit. I'm gonna go let me,
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: let me take nineteen hundred, So I'm gonna go, wow,
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: one hundred century, one hundred and twenty four years. All right,
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: that's what I just you said one twenty five.
- 1:10:17Speaker 2: Okay, So you're gonna go one hundred and twenty four okay, So.
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: You're you're just saying it's one hundred four years on

- 1:10:26Speaker 3: Good, I'm gonna go.
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: Over okay, So fifty I believe that makes me the winner.
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: One hundred and forty five years.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: Wow. Oh wait, Now I just remember how Price is
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: Right works.
- 1:10:39Speaker 3: Myself this game, because I was like, we're supposed to
- 1:10:42Speaker 3: do the other thing.
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: Yeah, go over it. Yeah, I'd like to redo because
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: I fucking told you that this is true. I didn't
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: give I told him, he said, I said it directly
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: to it. All right, Well, I think that is that
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: the last time, is it? Okay? That is enough of
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: the preliminaries. I think it's time for the marine events.
- 1:11:06Speaker 1: Oh the events music.
- 1:11:09Speaker 8: Hello, everybody, Welcome to the pH duel, where we have
- 1:11:18Speaker 8: two contestants taking it out in a battle of the
- 1:11:21Speaker 8: brains in on the line one ductall degree in this
- 1:11:27Speaker 8: corner with one previous title a man who needs no introduction.
- 1:11:39Speaker 9: Jacob, just.
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: Man, our challenger seeking to reclaim his glory.
- 1:11:47Speaker 8: It's the appreciator, the resid wire, rebel, the sugar pouch,
- 1:11:52Speaker 8: practical joker, shame job.
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: It's on a set it to four teams. Okay, who
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: did that? That was Alec Alec Lancaster job. All right,
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: four teams here, yep. Set it to four and hit
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: start and I will explain the rules as we go.
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: So when you have a doctorate, we have a pudd
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: in fight ahead of our everybody's in the game. Anybody
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: can win. So we put this to our discord and
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: several members stepped up. We had Alec, of course, myras
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: stepped up, and buyler T stepped up. We have five
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: pudding related categories which Jacob will read us the categories
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: in a moment, and we have jeopardy rules. You lose
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: points if you get it wrong, you get points if
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: you get it right. There are no double jeopardies, there
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: is no final jeopardy. Whoever has the highest total at
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: the end is the winner. So let's hear our categories, Jacob,
- 1:12:58Speaker 1: what are our pudding category?
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: The categories are putting down roots, putting in, my two cents,
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: Vladimir Pudding putting on the ritz and Bill Cosby.
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: It's gonna be a good night. Everybody.
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: Have another one.
- 1:13:20Speaker 3: Here we go, Okay.
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: And so now Jacob is the defending champion, and Jeopardy
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: Rule say that he should get to start, and I
- 1:13:27Speaker 1: think we just go clockwise from there. Uh. You can't
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: steal answers, obviously, because we're gonna have to see the
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: answer to see if it's right or wrong. Remember, be
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: be thoughtful because if you miss it, you're gonna lose points.
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: And I have no idea how hard this thing is.
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: If it sucks, we have other trivia that we can
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: run to. All right, I'm going straight to Bill Cosby
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: for one hundred. Oh, it's a solid move.
- 1:13:46Speaker 4: True or false. Bill Cosby has a doctorate. An honorary
- 1:13:51Speaker 4: doctorate does not count. Shit, doctor hust I mean he's doctor.
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: He's doctor. Uh the Sun was theater? Yeah, he's Huxtable.
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: I don't know. Cliffs Wow, good memory.
- 1:14:05Speaker 4: Oh man, I watched the ship out of the Cosby Show.
- 1:14:08Speaker 1: I did too.
- 1:14:09Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean there have been many times over my
- 1:14:11Speaker 4: life that Bill Cosby has put me to sleep.
- 1:14:16Speaker 1: I'd just be watching it and.
- 1:14:21Speaker 4: Let's see so true false Bill Cosby is a doctorate.
- 1:14:24Speaker 4: An honorary doctorate is not. I'm gonna say false. I
- 1:14:26Speaker 4: don't think he has. I think he's got a monorary doctorates,
- 1:14:29Speaker 4: but I don't think he's got a doctorate.
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: So uh, space bar the answer. You like that.
- 1:14:36Speaker 2: E d.
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: This functioned from the University of Meths for mass Alright,
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: I lose minus points. There we go, all right, off
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: to an early lead. All Right, we're uh jim with
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: zero the second. I mean that's I don't gonna put
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: the name. Let me get let me get Vladimir pudding
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: for a hundred, all right, start off young, you're false.
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: Vladimir Putin has a doctorate?
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: Does not?
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: Jesus oh does he die? You know he does, but
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: it's honorary because the is not giving him a doctor
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: in the head. Yeah, I feel like it's gonna be
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: one of those doctor you're calling me, Doug. Yeah, he
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: lost it too. It's so dangerous. Okay, give me true.
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: There's there's no way he doesn't just have one. All right,
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: he's gonna go get it. It's true.
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: A PhD in economic policy from Leningrad mining against the
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: st Petersburg Mining University.
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: What the I'll take the points? What are good jobs?
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: Point of job? Laddie h Nick, All right, let's go.
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: Uh I'm gonna do putting down roots.
- 1:15:58Speaker 2: Putting down root for one hundred. People with acrophobia would
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: not like to eat pudding from a treehouse in this
- 1:16:06Speaker 2: species of tree.
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: The tallest tree in the world.
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: Oh wow, okay, what is the tallest tree in the world.
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: I like that.
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: It looked like it was gonna be like, what is
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: a journey redwood?
- 1:16:24Speaker 2: Redwood is the correct answer.
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: We also have accepted sequoia according to this jeopardy. Wow right,
- 1:16:34Speaker 1: we're off to the running here.
- 1:16:36Speaker 3: What do you think, pupil, I'm going to try the
- 1:16:38Speaker 3: putting on the rits.
- 1:16:39Speaker 1: Putting on the rents for one hundred.
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: This pastry, similar to a Dutch baby pancake, is an
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: essential part of a British Sunday roast dinner.
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: Oh damn baby pancakes. Oh yeah, I feel like I
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: know what it is too.
- 1:16:55Speaker 2: No, I was just hungry for pancakes.
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: Oh that's right. Are we going to ee up after this?
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: You guys?
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: I'm good. I hop they have creeps at I hop man.
- 1:17:07Speaker 3: A British Sunday roast dinner. I don't know, so I'm
- 1:17:16Speaker 3: gonna guess. I know, Okay, I'm only saying this because
- 1:17:21Speaker 3: this is a restaurant that I was just looking at
- 1:17:23Speaker 3: early today called the Cornish Pasty. I think it's something
- 1:17:27Speaker 3: like that.
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: You want to say, a pasty.
- 1:17:30Speaker 3: I'm gonna let's see.
- 1:17:32Speaker 1: Yeah, tasty English.
- 1:17:36Speaker 3: Yeah, Yeah, there we go.
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: I guess the famous Okay, checks out your back to
- 1:17:44Speaker 1: Jacob with a chance to redeem.
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: Let's see, I'll do We got putting in my two cents.
- 1:17:48Speaker 1: We got more. Bill Cosby. I didn't do well with
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: Bill Cosby last time. Nobody does.
- 1:17:52Speaker 4: Uh well, you know, it depends on how you measure it.
- 1:17:57Speaker 1: Not vertical. I'll go Bill Cosby. I'll stay with Bill.
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: He wants Bill Blank and the Cosby Kids was a
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: Saturday Morning cartoon.
- 1:18:04Speaker 1: Based on Bill Cosby's childhood. There's been multiple cartoons.
- 1:18:12Speaker 4: I mean, there's Fat Albert is Fat Albert, but it
- 1:18:15Speaker 4: wouldn't have been Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids. I'm
- 1:18:17Speaker 4: not I'm not sure it could be Fat Albert the
- 1:18:20Speaker 4: Cosby Kiss.
- 1:18:21Speaker 1: So while he's thinking about this, Whitney years ago, I
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: came with an idea for trivia. I don't know what
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: I think about the titles of Kids. I was watching
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: with my children and I gave them to the guys
- 1:18:33Speaker 1: with the description of the show, and they had to
- 1:18:35Speaker 1: pick out the fake, and one of them was Little
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: Bill and it's the story of Little Bill Cosby who
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: lives in New York. And I read them the whole
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: thing and they're like, well, that's absolutely not real. It's
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: one did you answer, no, no, No, It's it's like
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: super re It's not called Little Bill and the Cosby Kids.
- 1:18:52Speaker 1: It's it's just it's not I watched this show. I
- 1:18:57Speaker 1: watched I'll guess fat Albert fad Alberts again, mister he
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: gets back back Cosby and he's.
- 1:19:07Speaker 2: Back on top, all right. He scores Jacob one hundred
- 1:19:11Speaker 2: to one hundred to one hundred to negative one hundred.
- 1:19:14Speaker 3: Who's stay you don't go to zero, witneycause.
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: The second was worth two hundred. So we have got
- 1:19:21Speaker 1: a dead heat and it's back to me, right it is.
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: Let me close, okay, let me let me grab that
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: one hundred pudding in my two cents. Let's see what
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: the doubles in this No finals unless you want to
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: just pick to at random, round to the nearest dollar.
- 1:19:36Speaker 4: This is how much a six pack of pudding cups
- 1:19:38Speaker 4: costs at Walmart.
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: Oh Jesus Christ doesn't even give you the brand or
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: anything cups like.
- 1:19:44Speaker 2: You don't know if this is like Yello pudding cups
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: or like high Top, or it could be the great value.
- 1:19:53Speaker 4: Think high Top was great value before before they called
- 1:19:56Speaker 4: it great value. Yeah, all right, so you think you
- 1:19:57Speaker 4: call it it's a six pack and then saging myself,
- 1:20:01Speaker 4: dollar a cup.
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: Is too much. It's not going to be a dollar
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: a cup. I'm thinking it's gonna be.
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: It's good that it went to gym though, because Jim
- 1:20:09Speaker 1: has the kids up. I think it's.
- 1:20:12Speaker 2: I bet I bet Jim putting cups most recently out
- 1:20:15Speaker 2: of the forum ust probably within my lifetime.
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: Okay, I'm gonna take it eighty cents a cup and
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: times that by six, and I'm gonna get a number.
- 1:20:24Speaker 1: And that is my number. Aha, And that number is
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: obviously you know the number. I mean, I don't want
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: to I don't want to insult your intelligence what six
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: times eight is and and it is for it is
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: way too cheap. There's no way it's gonna be what
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: do I get? Rounded to the nearest dollar, It's gonna
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: be under It's gonna be under a dollar a cup.
- 1:20:45Speaker 1: Give me five dollars, then it's got to be under
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: dollar a cup? Are we making him do prices?
- 1:20:49Speaker 3: Right?
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: Rules? Round to the nearest dollar? All right? So you
- 1:20:54Speaker 1: what's your answer? I want five?
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: Five?
- 1:20:56Speaker 2: No way?
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: Three? Honestly good deal? Good for you, Walmart? Yeah all right?
- 1:21:06Speaker 2: Jim dound, Nick and I are tied right now, and
- 1:21:12Speaker 2: it's Nick's turn.
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: Nick, what do you think Vladimir pudding for two hundred? Please?
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: Vladd got all dressed up and ready for a classy evening,
- 1:21:20Speaker 2: maybe even putting on this luxury hotel chain.
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: Okay, so what is the luxury hotel chain? Seems like
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: the question what is the luxury hotel chain of what
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: that he put it on? That he got classy? Oh?
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: I know the answer. Oh shit, I do know the answer. Okay,
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: I'm amazed that you don't know the answer to this. Immediately?
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: Am I supposed to read between the lines? No?
- 1:21:47Speaker 4: If anything, you're taking too deep into I want you
- 1:21:51Speaker 4: to be able to pass. That's what I want you
- 1:21:53Speaker 4: to be able to do.
- 1:21:53Speaker 1: Right now, ready for.
- 1:21:57Speaker 2: A classy evening, maybe even pudding on the ten nine eight, seven, six, five,
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: four three two one.
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: The ritz the rits, Yeah, putting on the Rits. Okay,
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: putting on the Rits. I wrote this before I saw
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: the whole.
- 1:22:21Speaker 2: Second. It couldn't.
- 1:22:24Speaker 1: Whoever wrote that question did not know there was a
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: whole category on the rits every point.
- 1:22:30Speaker 3: Damn well done, Whitney, making down with the lead by
- 1:22:34Speaker 3: the down the root.
- 1:22:36Speaker 1: So excited putts you can hear I think to get
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: out of it?
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: Maybe I can't.
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: Let's say, don't I putting down roots down roots for two?
- 1:22:50Speaker 2: Instant pudding was rooted or invented in this decade? Damn, Whitney.
- 1:22:56Speaker 2: What decade instant putting invented?
- 1:22:59Speaker 1: Oh damn?
- 1:23:00Speaker 2: And we'll need to know that in the Chinese calendar,
- 1:23:03Speaker 2: of course, yes, in the year of our Lord.
- 1:23:07Speaker 3: I know I was going to say.
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: The Russian Orthodox calendar.
- 1:23:11Speaker 2: Please?
- 1:23:13Speaker 3: Was there putting in the seventies? I mean putting? I
- 1:23:16Speaker 3: mean I don't know putting was instant putting?
- 1:23:20Speaker 1: This could be back to Twinkie days like.
- 1:23:22Speaker 2: This could be something instant has a seventies feel to it.
- 1:23:27Speaker 2: I feel like in the seventies. That's when it all
- 1:23:30Speaker 2: became like, hey, we can do this faster. Yeah, all
- 1:23:34Speaker 2: of the fas process.
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: It's getting faster. It's all about efficiency and speed.
- 1:23:39Speaker 3: I'm going to say sixties.
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: Okay, I like that. I like that. Guess a lot.
- 1:23:46Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: I would have guessed fifties. Well you you would have
- 1:23:48Speaker 1: been almost run. I don't have been wrong.
- 1:23:50Speaker 3: Next saying like convenience, I was like, well, drive throughs
- 1:23:53Speaker 3: came around like the fifties, so yeah, I probably those.
- 1:23:56Speaker 1: Points from her. Take them put her deep in the hole.
- 1:23:59Speaker 1: All right, Well, what's the scores? What are we at?
- 1:24:01Speaker 2: Let's see Nick is in the lead with three hundred,
- 1:24:03Speaker 2: I am in second with one hundred, Gym is in
- 1:24:05Speaker 2: third with zero, and Whitney is in fourth with negative
- 1:24:08Speaker 2: three hundred. Right, I wanted to do Nick and Whitney
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: of course have the most use for the PHDES.
- 1:24:14Speaker 4: Out of everyone who isn't Jim yet because we haven't
- 1:24:16Speaker 4: had it yet.
- 1:24:18Speaker 1: Just about.
- 1:24:21Speaker 2: Me, I'll try. I'll stick with Bill for three hundred.
- 1:24:23Speaker 2: Bill Cosby cleaning it out. Brigadier General William Cosby was
- 1:24:28Speaker 2: an army officer and colonial administrator who served as the
- 1:24:33Speaker 2: Governor of New York.
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: Was this before or.
- 1:24:36Speaker 2: After US independence? In seventeen seventy six?
- 1:24:40Speaker 1: Jesus Christ, I love that there's a real person.
- 1:24:44Speaker 3: Oh my gosh.
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: Also, you're getting a fifty to fifty These are these
- 1:24:47Speaker 1: Cosbys are easy? I guess. So was it before or after?
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: You got a fifty to fifty shot? An army William
- 1:24:55Speaker 1: Cosby was an army officer and colonial administrator. Here's a
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: big hint.
- 1:25:01Speaker 3: Governor of New York was before after independance? Governor?
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: Any be governor of New York before?
- 1:25:06Speaker 2: I know that's governors, the British head governors, colonial administration.
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: That's what I'm wondering before before I feel it's a
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: solid answer. Seventeen thirty six. Sam, he's getting them points,
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: racking up points.
- 1:25:22Speaker 2: Huge comeback, Smith shooting back up, Jim, Jim.
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: It's time to get something on the board. Here, give me,
- 1:25:30Speaker 1: give me pudding on the Ritz for.
- 1:25:32Speaker 2: Two two hondo within three pounds? What is the a
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: la carte price to a dessert or pudding? At the
- 1:25:41Speaker 2: Ritz restaurant in London? Their dessert selection is Ritch Chocolate
- 1:25:45Speaker 2: so fla, the Ritz signature chocolate seasonal citrus fruit, chestnut,
- 1:25:50Speaker 2: mont Blanc and port roast.
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: Fig Oh my god, oh Jesus, within three pounds with dollars,
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: it's pounds. Do you think I just picked three?
- 1:26:01Speaker 2: Because then that gives you anything anywhere from a.
- 1:26:03Speaker 1: Huge range, huge, huge, God damn. So I think the
- 1:26:08Speaker 1: pounds are worth more than dollars. So I'm gonna start
- 1:26:12Speaker 1: with what feels like an expensive dollars. I'm gonna go
- 1:26:16Speaker 1: so dollars. My brain says a nice hotel pudding probably
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: gonna come in around forty bucks, so in pounds, feels
- 1:26:28Speaker 1: like that's gonna be about fifty. So I'm gonna say

- 1:26:54Speaker 1: If you're at the Ritz and you're ordering dessert, you're
- 1:26:56Speaker 1: not looking at prices. You're looking at prices. Give me
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: fifty two. I think that's British pound. Out of my
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: fucking game, seventy pounds fifty two British fifty pounds, Come on,
- 1:27:09Speaker 1: be there twenty seven pounds. Sh shit? Is that pre inflation?
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: It's as of.

- 1:28:17Speaker 2: makes a Russian imperial style.
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: And Scott, if you're calling it pudding, I get hard ones.
- 1:28:25Speaker 1: This is ridiculous.
- 1:28:26Speaker 3: I'm going with Vladimir Pudding.
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: For EUSt getting named. It is your turn.
- 1:28:31Speaker 3: I know, I'm going to go four hundred and if
- 1:28:33Speaker 3: this is hard, I'm going to be massed.
- 1:28:35Speaker 10: Every historic Russian figure battles of histories Resputant versus Stella,
- 1:28:45Speaker 10: and both make an appearance.
- 1:28:48Speaker 2: Name every history. I don't even understand how this question
- 1:28:59Speaker 2: could be this hard.
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: The universe hates Whitney. This is incredible question. Go for it,
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: go nuts his name every like to get Resputin and Stalin.
- 1:29:17Speaker 3: Solid, Yeah, yeah, those will be to respute install the
- 1:29:22Speaker 3: first two.
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: To guess anyone else that could be the trick. It
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: could just be those two.
- 1:29:28Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know Russian figure. Oh oh yeah, because
- 1:29:33Speaker 3: I guess I could just be too. Yeah, yeah, I
- 1:29:37Speaker 3: guess I'll just guess the two. Okay, okay, obvious.
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: Put in Stalin and put as well.
- 1:29:48Speaker 3: I wouldn't have gotten Oh.
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: Man, come on, Oh that's a rough one. That's rough.
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: Give us the scores there, Jacob, what are the standing?
- 1:29:56Speaker 2: Nick is still in the lead with six hundred. I'm
- 1:29:58Speaker 2: nipping at his heels though with four hundred. Jim is
- 1:30:01Speaker 2: in third place with negative two hundred. Damn it, and
- 1:30:04Speaker 2: Whitney is also playing.
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: I mean, you're asking questions, you're having a good answer.
- 1:30:16Speaker 2: Give her.
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: Give the girl some scotch, alright, she's a liquid courage.
- 1:30:19Speaker 1: You'll do fine.
- 1:30:20Speaker 4: Yeah, I fuck you.
- 1:30:22Speaker 2: I'm closing out Vladimir Pudding for five hundred big money.
- 1:30:26Speaker 2: Putin was disappointingly not famous for putting these hard shelled
- 1:30:32Speaker 2: tree fruits in his book Comb the fuck on, Come
- 1:30:38Speaker 2: the fuck on, I mean, for five hundred.
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: But is it figgy pudding?
- 1:30:46Speaker 2: Is it?
- 1:30:46Speaker 1: Is it fig.
- 1:30:49Speaker 3: Like I know the answer?
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: Or is it like a like a hazel nut or something? Fruits?
- 1:30:54Speaker 2: So, yeah, har.
- 1:30:57Speaker 3: Walnuts, walnut? Yeah, I was thinking walnut initially.
- 1:31:01Speaker 2: Acorns, right there you go, acorn corn putting? Sure, everybody
- 1:31:07Speaker 2: a corn pudding delicacy.
- 1:31:17Speaker 3: That's right.
- 1:31:18Speaker 1: I'm trying to help, I guess. I mean that's the thing.
- 1:31:23Speaker 4: Hard shell. I mean figs have a bit of a
- 1:31:25Speaker 4: shell to them. But yeah, it's not terribly Hoton was
- 1:31:33Speaker 4: not famous.
- 1:31:34Speaker 3: Not disappointingly, I think, disappointingly. Is the piggy pudding? Like
- 1:31:39Speaker 3: that's I think?
- 1:31:40Speaker 1: So I think it's got to be figs. I'm going
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: to figs. We go what I'm still ahead of? Damn, Jim,
- 1:31:56Speaker 1: you're up, all right, It's time to get action here,
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: give me Bill Cosby for five. It's time to come back.
- 1:32:07Speaker 1: The only appropriate part two? What the only ligma?
- 1:32:13Speaker 2: The only appropriate part to ligma of pudding cups.
- 1:32:18Speaker 1: Only appropriate part to enigma of putting cups. I don't
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: know what this question is A well, ligma is associated
- 1:32:26Speaker 1: with ligma nuts. So you ask somebody a prompting question
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: that uses the word ligma and then they answer something
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: you liigma nuts. But if you're ligging a pudding cup,
- 1:32:37Speaker 1: you should only lick the lid. So I'm going to
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: go with the lid. Okay, whatever the top is, I'm
- 1:32:47Speaker 1: can I get ruling on that. I'm so deep in
- 1:32:51Speaker 1: the hole. This only makes me competitive. It only makes
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: it a more interesting game, and we all know that's
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: what I was aiming for. I think we got to
- 1:33:01Speaker 1: give it to Okay, thank you, legal scalp. Yeah, get
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: me back in the game. I hate my honesty. Let's
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: see naked your turn.
- 1:33:09Speaker 2: You know what, I'm gonna go putting in my two
- 1:33:11Speaker 2: cents for two hundred, I'm gonna I'm gonna play a
- 1:33:13Speaker 2: little conservative. The coins needed when you want to buy
- 1:33:16Speaker 2: a thirty cent pudding cup, but one of the coins
- 1:33:19Speaker 2: is not jam.
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: Come on.
- 1:33:31Speaker 3: For a six pack?
- 1:33:32Speaker 1: Hold on, I need silence for this, all right.
- 1:33:36Speaker 4: Let the record show that I know this answer exactly right.
- 1:33:39Speaker 2: Now it's not a nickel.
- 1:33:41Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I got one.
- 1:33:45Speaker 1: Come on, I'm gonna tell you. But it doesn't it
- 1:33:48Speaker 1: doesn't say how many is three times?
- 1:33:52Speaker 3: Shut up?
- 1:33:54Speaker 1: Shut up you, I'm putting your deck up. Shut up.
- 1:33:58Speaker 2: I'm just telling you that the or fun you count
- 1:34:02Speaker 2: them because whatever answer is on this question, that's the
- 1:34:05Speaker 2: answer that we're gonna take three dimes. Do you want
- 1:34:09Speaker 2: to go three dimes? Yeah, I'm gonna tell you right now.
- 1:34:11Speaker 2: It's a quarter and a nickel.
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: The other one is a nickel. Okay, answer is not
- 1:34:20Speaker 1: wrong according to that, that's what I said. We're gonna
- 1:34:25Speaker 1: go with whatever whatever answers they have there, very famous joke,
- 1:34:31Speaker 1: but one of the one of the coins is not
- 1:34:34Speaker 1: a nickel, but the other one is. Because the writer
- 1:34:39Speaker 1: is supposed to put what two coins are needed? They see,
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: let's see Whitney.
- 1:34:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm gonna go.
- 1:34:48Speaker 2: Nick is still in the lead, but he's only one
- 1:34:49Speaker 2: hundred ahead of Gym. Now we go, and we still
- 1:34:51Speaker 2: have uh what do we have?
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: We have ten questions left.
- 1:34:55Speaker 3: I'm gonna go.
- 1:34:57Speaker 1: H Whitney numbers are on the board.
- 1:35:01Speaker 3: For five hundred. All right, Yeah, I'm fucking stealing all
- 1:35:04Speaker 3: these and losing them from It.
- 1:35:06Speaker 2: Is recognized as one of the largest organisms on Earth
- 1:35:09Speaker 2: due to its interconnected root system. What type of tree? God,
- 1:35:13Speaker 2: damn it, that's what I thought. I thought the answer
- 1:35:15Speaker 2: was gonna be tree. What type of tree makes up Pando?
- 1:35:19Speaker 1: What the fuck?
- 1:35:20Speaker 3: One of the largest organisms?
- 1:35:22Speaker 1: So Panda is the name of the organism. Yes, they
- 1:35:25Speaker 1: call it Panda. That's right. What kind of tree is Pando? Okay,
- 1:35:29Speaker 1: now I understand I thought now that Jim has read
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: the question.
- 1:35:33Speaker 3: Yes, what type of tree? We already talked about the
- 1:35:39Speaker 3: the Sequoia trees. I know those roots are very shallow
- 1:35:41Speaker 3: and stretch very far and wide, but I don't think
- 1:35:44Speaker 3: they interconnect. So largest Organd what types of trees are there?
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: There's a couple, yeah, apple tree. There's only a couple
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: types of trees. Yeah, there's the tall ones, then there's
- 1:36:02Speaker 1: the short ones. Do you know where this is? No,
- 1:36:08Speaker 1: it's in North America, I believe.
- 1:36:11Speaker 3: Okay, is this like I don't know if that what
- 1:36:18Speaker 3: are mangroves made out? Is it like one of those
- 1:36:20Speaker 3: that's a tree mangroves?
- 1:36:21Speaker 1: Sorry?
- 1:36:21Speaker 3: Job, Yeah, I'll go with that. They have a lot
- 1:36:24Speaker 3: of roots.
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: I don't think it's a mang. I think it's in Utah.
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: I don't know what the hell it's called. I don't either.
- 1:36:28Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, well that's what I'm going on with mangroves.
- 1:36:31Speaker 1: Let's show me potato salad. Yeah, aspen or specifically the
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: quaking aspen.
- 1:36:39Speaker 3: You're welcome.
- 1:36:41Speaker 1: I think it's time for a points check in wait revidend.
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: Let's see Nike four.
- 1:36:46Speaker 2: Hundred gym three hundred meters negative one hundred, and it's
- 1:36:49Speaker 2: my turn, so I'll go Whitney Bill Cosby for four
- 1:36:53Speaker 2: hundred is. Also in nineteen seventy nine, General Foods introduced
- 1:36:58Speaker 2: the company's first frozen dessert product, with Bill Cosby as spokesperson.
- 1:37:03Speaker 1: What was this product?
- 1:37:06Speaker 2: There?
- 1:37:07Speaker 1: We ago or shallow pudding?
- 1:37:13Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what I was gonna say, the frozen ye see. Yeah,
- 1:37:19Speaker 3: well I'm picking the.
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: Jimmy.
- 1:37:24Speaker 2: You're up, and you and I are now tied. So
- 1:37:26Speaker 2: Vladimir is gone. Vladimir's gone, Bill Cosby's gone. We still
- 1:37:29Speaker 2: have putting down roots, putting in my two cents and
- 1:37:32Speaker 2: putting on the rits.
- 1:37:34Speaker 1: Oh boy, all right, let's go putting on the rits.
- 1:37:38Speaker 1: Give me putting on the writs for three all right.
- 1:37:41Speaker 2: This blood sausage is commonly found as part of a
- 1:37:45Speaker 2: full English breakfast.
- 1:37:46Speaker 1: You oh yeah, oh oh, it's gonna be putting in
- 1:37:52Speaker 1: the answer, Oh, blood pudding.
- 1:37:57Speaker 2: Blood pudding, Yeah, is incorrect.
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: It's not blood. Putting is a different thing.
- 1:38:07Speaker 2: It's more like coagulated blood and stuff in it.
- 1:38:11Speaker 1: It's yes England.
- 1:38:14Speaker 2: Uh, Nick okay, Nick with the lead putting in my
- 1:38:17Speaker 2: two cents all right. Traditionally, a coin is stirred into
- 1:38:23Speaker 2: a Christmas pudding. Uh, and it brings whoever found the
- 1:38:28Speaker 2: coin wealth and good luck in the year to come.
- 1:38:31Speaker 4: What type of coin is traditionally used? A penny, a shilling,
- 1:38:36Speaker 4: a pound, or a sixpence.
- 1:38:38Speaker 1: Jesus Christ, I thought a pound was dollars. Why would
- 1:38:44Speaker 1: a pound be dollars. It's dollars. It's what they have
- 1:38:47Speaker 1: as dollars. It's their dollars. It's there, it's their primary currency. Yes, yeah,
- 1:38:53Speaker 1: it's their dollars. It's it's like past it's a pound.
- 1:38:57Speaker 1: It's a different thing. I know it's than a dollar,
- 1:39:00Speaker 1: but the dollars paper. But you realize that there is
- 1:39:03Speaker 1: a dollar.
- 1:39:04Speaker 2: Yeah, you have you have like like it's all dollars,
- 1:39:06Speaker 2: but you have a bill that is a dollar.
- 1:39:08Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, they have a dollar, a pound.
- 1:39:10Speaker 2: Okay, a pound and sixpence just seems too much, okay
- 1:39:15Speaker 2: for like a traditional little thing. So I'm gonna say,
- 1:39:19Speaker 2: uh penny or a shilling, I'd like to ask the audience.
- 1:39:24Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, turning to the audience, please scream into your
- 1:39:28Speaker 1: phone listening device. I'm gonna say shilling. Okay, is what
- 1:39:33Speaker 1: they were? Just a penny? Were shouting shilling? It's six
- 1:39:39Speaker 1: whatever what I.
- 1:39:42Speaker 3: Told you I would get sixpence. You didn't want to
- 1:39:44Speaker 3: listen to negative twelve hundred.
- 1:39:46Speaker 1: For some reason. It's a Whitney's turn negative.
- 1:39:54Speaker 3: I'm going to do. I'm going to do put it
- 1:39:58Speaker 3: on the writs five Okay.
- 1:40:02Speaker 2: The traditional British Christmas pudding is usually soaked with what
- 1:40:05Speaker 2: sweet alcohol?
- 1:40:07Speaker 1: Two answers only need one for the point, So.
- 1:40:11Speaker 3: It's a brandy or brandy brandy.
- 1:40:14Speaker 1: It is correct.
- 1:40:20Speaker 3: Hundred.
- 1:40:21Speaker 1: Back up to negative seven hundred. Still it's me. I'll
- 1:40:28Speaker 1: try putting on the rits for four hundred, last five questions.
- 1:40:31Speaker 2: The Ritz Carlton Company has one hundred and eight luxury
- 1:40:34Speaker 2: hotels and resorts in thirty countries and territories.
- 1:40:37Speaker 1: Which countries do not.
- 1:40:39Speaker 2: Sorry, which continent does not have a Ritz Carlton brand hotels? Okay,
- 1:40:46Speaker 2: North America, there's a Ritz Carlton brand hotels in North America.
- 1:40:49Speaker 2: There are South America. I'm breaking through the continent. His
- 1:40:55Speaker 2: math South America. That's just south of North America. They're
- 1:40:59Speaker 2: probably hotels and they can just drive a truck down there.
- 1:41:03Speaker 2: That's not too Australia. They're very fancy in Australia, I'm
- 1:41:08Speaker 2: sure they have. They are not fancy.

- 1:41:34Speaker 1: Oh, Witney, Oh.
- 1:41:37Speaker 3: If you're wrong, there's one.
- 1:41:43Speaker 1: It would have been awesome if it had been. I
- 1:41:49Speaker 1: see four questions left, Jacob, Well, I have one move,
- 1:41:56Speaker 1: and that's only to go for five hundred, So give
- 1:41:59Speaker 1: me putting in my two cents for five huh.
- 1:42:04Speaker 2: I guess we can just call him doctor right now
- 1:42:05Speaker 2: can't we.
- 1:42:06Speaker 3: It's over, It's impossiblet's fish out.
- 1:42:09Speaker 1: Let's finish it out.
- 1:42:10Speaker 2: This biblical book of the Christian Bible is one of
- 1:42:13Speaker 2: one of the first known references to someone giving their
- 1:42:17Speaker 2: two cents. Oh wow, the Bible, Biblical book of the
- 1:42:22Speaker 2: Christian Bible.
- 1:42:24Speaker 4: That's the Christian the first known reference the Christian Bible
- 1:42:28Speaker 4: jem of someone.
- 1:42:29Speaker 1: Giving their two cents, giving their.
- 1:42:34Speaker 3: Two giving literally two tithing.
- 1:42:38Speaker 1: Which book starts talking about tithing?
- 1:42:42Speaker 2: And now I know there is the twopence song from
- 1:42:46Speaker 2: Mary Poppins, so it could be Mary Poppins, the book
- 1:42:50Speaker 2: of the Book of Mary Poppins.
- 1:42:54Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, I mean I'm going with this tithing thing,
- 1:42:59Speaker 1: and I think I'm gonna get into the Book of Acts,
- 1:43:03Speaker 1: going axe show me the Book of Acts.
- 1:43:07Speaker 3: Jesus, come on.
- 1:43:09Speaker 2: What is the book or Gospel of Mark and or Luke?
- 1:43:12Speaker 2: The poor lady offers everything she has, which is two cents,
- 1:43:14Speaker 2: as a donation, while the rich offer relatively nothing.
- 1:43:18Speaker 1: Well, fuck me, so I guess there is no God.
- 1:43:27Speaker 1: Is this what you guys have been talking about? I
- 1:43:30Speaker 1: kind of get it now. That was my moment and
- 1:43:33Speaker 1: I really got fucked.
- 1:43:35Speaker 2: Within three gallons, how much semen, I mean pudding he
- 1:43:39Speaker 2: required to fill a home depot in kiddie pool.
- 1:43:43Speaker 1: I knew the answer if it was semen.
- 1:43:47Speaker 2: Wait, what temperature submarine or.
- 1:43:54Speaker 1: Navy joke?
- 1:43:58Speaker 2: Okay, how much put would be required to fill a home?
- 1:44:02Speaker 1: Forty five inch kitty pool? Uh?
- 1:44:05Speaker 2: Gallons?
- 1:44:05Speaker 1: So forty five inch kitty pool.
- 1:44:07Speaker 4: So it's bigger than the thirty five inch kitty pool
- 1:44:09Speaker 4: by about ten inches.
- 1:44:10Speaker 1: Yeah, you want to go about ten more.
- 1:44:12Speaker 3: That's how the math is gonna wa.
- 1:44:14Speaker 1: I know Nick knows the math for the thirty five minutes.
- 1:44:16Speaker 1: I'm gonna say, I'm gonna say fifty. No, I'm gonna
- 1:44:22Speaker 1: say forty five gallons.
- 1:44:23Speaker 4: Forty five gallons is incorrect under fifty sixty?
- 1:44:30Speaker 1: Were you gonna go? Were you about to say fifty
- 1:44:32Speaker 1: or fifty something? Fifty? Okay, so you're sorry even at fifty.
- 1:44:36Speaker 2: Let's see here, Whitney putting down roots for three hundred
- 1:44:41Speaker 2: or four hundred four four hundo, trying to get closer
- 1:44:45Speaker 2: to positive points. Yeah, what does the Latin root for
- 1:44:48Speaker 2: the word courage translate to huh cower?
- 1:44:52Speaker 1: Do you think that's the root pudding?
- 1:44:54Speaker 3: The Latin got it?
- 1:44:56Speaker 1: It's gonna be something. What was this category roots?
- 1:45:00Speaker 3: Putting down roots for the word courage translate to a
- 1:45:03Speaker 3: pudding is my answer.
- 1:45:05Speaker 2: Let's try it, go for it. The Latin root is core,
- 1:45:08Speaker 2: meaning heart. You didn't need to know the actual Latin
- 1:45:10Speaker 2: word to get the points. Doesn't matter. She didn't get
- 1:45:12Speaker 2: either one. Okay, I'm putting down roots for three hundred
- 1:45:19Speaker 2: is the last question of the game. Oh my god,
- 1:45:22Speaker 2: the castilia the Saint Acna with Sicilian roots famously resembles
- 1:45:28Speaker 2: what part of the human anatomy?
- 1:45:31Speaker 1: I believe this one's worth three thousand points? I believe
- 1:45:34Speaker 1: it is. Yeah, that's what I saw.
- 1:45:35Speaker 4: Let's see that is famously resembles. The colon resembles the
- 1:45:42Speaker 4: colon that comes right.
- 1:45:43Speaker 3: That's fair.
- 1:45:44Speaker 9: Ah, the breast breast? I miss of the chests. The
- 1:45:48Speaker 9: questionties remove those points for taking those points off your score, and.
- 1:45:56Speaker 1: The game is has a negative eleven hundre points. Close.
- 1:46:01Speaker 2: Jim has a negative five hundred points. Nick has negative
- 1:46:05Speaker 2: three hundred points. They're gonna notice a trend with those
- 1:46:08Speaker 2: three scores in the front of each of the numbers.
- 1:46:14Speaker 2: It was a negative. If you'll remember, I got that
- 1:46:16Speaker 2: last question wrong. That was almost I lost the boys
- 1:46:20Speaker 2: took it off. My final score is four hundred points.
- 1:46:24Speaker 1: There it is doctor the title. I never felt more doctoral.
- 1:46:40Speaker 4: My brother actually graduated with his pH d yesterday.
- 1:46:44Speaker 1: I feel like I have achieved more today. Yeah, that'd
- 1:46:48Speaker 1: be so funny. The family is like sending in the
- 1:46:50Speaker 1: group thread like, hey, we're really proud of you kicks.
- 1:46:52Speaker 1: The doctors are very proud. The children are doctors.
- 1:47:01Speaker 2: Of equal value.
- 1:47:03Speaker 1: Well there it is okay, fair and square. There can
- 1:47:06Speaker 1: be no dispute. Where's my doctorate, Jim? I need to
- 1:47:08Speaker 1: bring that.
- 1:47:10Speaker 3: That was the whole point.
- 1:47:11Speaker 1: Shut up, Whitney, mega negatives. Okay, nobody wants to love
- 1:47:18Speaker 1: actually blows.
- 1:47:22Speaker 2: I still have a stack of Jim's doctorates.
- 1:47:26Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah the house.
- 1:47:28Speaker 2: So I can bring if he doesn't bring in the
- 1:47:31Speaker 2: real thing. Yeah, you can always double down, just take
- 1:47:42Speaker 2: more things from the tab grows. I mean you already
- 1:47:46Speaker 2: you already have Tims on Best of Las Vegas. Yeah
- 1:47:49Speaker 2: that's right.
- 1:47:49Speaker 1: Yeah, I made racing for Pinks. Oh my god, I'll
- 1:47:55Speaker 1: get the super route. Yes, Jim's walking home.
- 1:48:00Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:48:00Speaker 1: Well, thank you for joining us for yet another season
- 1:48:03Speaker 1: of pod Therapy. Do you have any cliffhangers for next season.
- 1:48:07Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, we need soap opera cliffhangers. Will this
- 1:48:09Speaker 1: make me sick? Oh, he's eating the cord. No, the
- 1:48:18Speaker 1: smell is not good. Do not eat that.
- 1:48:20Speaker 2: Man to it.
- 1:48:21Speaker 1: You're better than No. Oh, the smell is poor. Oh,
- 1:48:27Speaker 1: don't don't, for the love of God, don't do I
- 1:48:30Speaker 1: don't know if he's so much in his mouth.
- 1:48:35Speaker 2: This is it?
- 1:48:36Speaker 1: This is a drop that line. He's giving it a
- 1:48:38Speaker 1: bike so bad. We got the teeth on there. And
- 1:48:45Speaker 1: then he pulled away. He goes trush can. His Iowa
- 1:48:55Speaker 1: sensibilities will let him throw it away. It'll boil it
- 1:48:58Speaker 1: to get something else out of it. It has been cooked.
- 1:49:02Speaker 1: It's not raw.
- 1:49:03Speaker 2: I could tell by feeling. It's kind of but that
- 1:49:08Speaker 2: still doesn't tell you if it's sweet corn or if
- 1:49:10Speaker 2: it's field corn.
- 1:49:11Speaker 1: It is sweet corn. Okay, it is sweet corn.
- 1:49:14Speaker 2: You know how it smells when you open a can
- 1:49:17Speaker 2: of the whole kernel corn.
- 1:49:19Speaker 4: It has that juice in there and everything. Imagine leaving
- 1:49:22Speaker 4: that out for like three hours. Just open it up
- 1:49:25Speaker 4: and then out for about three hours. It's not like
- 1:49:28Speaker 4: a crazy long time, but enough time for everything to
- 1:49:31Speaker 4: be room temperature. That tasted like that smells and metallity.
- 1:49:37Speaker 3: Yeah, thanks for taking the team to go.
- 1:49:40Speaker 2: Yeah. Well you know us doctors yea.
- 1:49:44Speaker 3: And beyond Yeah yeah, damn.
- 1:49:48Speaker 1: Oh my god, Well you have done it again. You've
- 1:49:51Speaker 1: wasted another season with our little happy show. We have seasons,
- 1:49:57Speaker 1: who knows, you know. Yeah, we'll put another one in
- 1:49:59Speaker 1: the book.
- 1:50:00Speaker 2: It's because we've done seven of them.
- 1:50:02Speaker 1: That's why. Yep. So now we can be proud of it. Yeah.
- 1:50:07Speaker 1: But we're so grateful for all of you. You've supported
- 1:50:10Speaker 1: us all these years, and our show has grown and
- 1:50:13Speaker 1: grown and grown, and throughout the years we've made so
- 1:50:15Speaker 1: many friends with other podcasts, of course none less than
- 1:50:18Speaker 1: the great Matt and Maddingly's ice Cream Social Podcast. And
- 1:50:21Speaker 1: special thanks to Jacob who has put up with us
- 1:50:24Speaker 1: for these seven years, brought us on and really just
- 1:50:27Speaker 1: been here to keep us alive. So we are so
- 1:50:30Speaker 1: grateful to have met so many of you at scoop Fest.
- 1:50:33Speaker 1: We got to do and just Whitney got to do
- 1:50:37Speaker 1: her first scoop Fest and got to do tons of
- 1:50:39Speaker 1: photos with everybody, and we had a lot of fun
- 1:50:42Speaker 1: with Morning Murders again and had some great interviews this year,
- 1:50:46Speaker 1: some great stuff on our Patreon. We got our first
- 1:50:48Speaker 1: intern this year with them McCain. A lot of fun.
- 1:50:52Speaker 1: We've got to know a bunch of therapy producers this
- 1:50:54Speaker 1: year through the Patreon and your special segments. So it's
- 1:50:58Speaker 1: been a really productive year of us. We've had a
- 1:51:01Speaker 1: lot of fun this year.
- 1:51:02Speaker 2: Yeah, every year. I feel like we're definitely going to
- 1:51:05Speaker 2: fuck this up this year. Yeah, and we haven't yet. Yeah,
- 1:51:08Speaker 2: I'm not to a point where we're not going to
- 1:51:10Speaker 2: do it anymore. Yeah we're still walking. Yeah, it's still
- 1:51:12Speaker 2: still hobbling down the street.
- 1:51:14Speaker 1: We're still we're still cooking. Still a great show. So
- 1:51:16Speaker 1: we are so thankful that you've joined us for this project.
- 1:51:19Speaker 1: It is the little show that could. I'm really proud.
- 1:51:22Speaker 1: I was thinking about this the other day. You know,
- 1:51:23Speaker 1: I had this opportunity this season to do a collaboration
- 1:51:27Speaker 1: with one of the largest mental health podcasts in the category,
- 1:51:30Speaker 1: and you know, that was eye opening. I think it was.
- 1:51:33Speaker 1: It was a great opportunity to just realize what it
- 1:51:36Speaker 1: takes to be number one and also realize we will
- 1:51:38Speaker 1: never have what it takes to be number one. But
- 1:51:41Speaker 1: I'm really proud of what we are. I feel like
- 1:51:43Speaker 1: we feel a very specific niche in the world.
- 1:51:47Speaker 3: No, no, no, I think it's in a beautiful way.
- 1:51:49Speaker 1: Like I'm reflecting on the show. I'm reflecting on the
- 1:51:52Speaker 1: season and reflecting on seven years. And I know, for me,
- 1:51:55Speaker 1: I'm proud of what we do, even though I cringe
- 1:51:58Speaker 1: through it and every show I'm like, well, that that's it.
- 1:52:00Speaker 1: That's the one. We fucking finished it. There's no way
- 1:52:02Speaker 1: we're coming back after that. I'm proud of it, you know,
- 1:52:09Speaker 1: yeah that wasn't there for a while. Yeah, but I'm
- 1:52:11Speaker 1: really proud of it. And I feel like the people
- 1:52:12Speaker 1: that listen to the show, that have glued onto the show,
- 1:52:15Speaker 1: that have formed the community around the show, they would
- 1:52:17Speaker 1: have it no other way, Like this is what they want.
- 1:52:19Speaker 2: There is a there's a professional golfer. His name is
- 1:52:22Speaker 2: Joel Damon and he's he's known as being like the
- 1:52:27Speaker 2: most likable guy on tour. And he was doing an
- 1:52:31Speaker 2: interview once and he's not very I mean, he's good,
- 1:52:34Speaker 2: but he doesn't play up to his potential. Okay, but
- 1:52:36Speaker 2: everybody just loves him. And his whole philosophy is he's like, well,
- 1:52:40Speaker 2: somebody has to come in seventieth in a tournament. It
- 1:52:43Speaker 2: may as well be me.
- 1:52:44Speaker 1: Okay, I think we're the Joel Damon Yeah podcast. There
- 1:52:47Speaker 1: it is. We're just not going to be here. Yeah,
- 1:52:49Speaker 1: we're having a great time. We're having fun. It's fun time.
- 1:52:52Speaker 1: We have our own lane, and people have found us
- 1:52:55Speaker 1: and they're happy to join us because I'm a bad boy.
- 1:52:57Speaker 3: There it is, Yeah, the only reason bad boys.
- 1:53:01Speaker 1: Well anyway, thank you everybody who has joined us, who
- 1:53:04Speaker 1: continues to listen, even if you are not a Patreon
- 1:53:07Speaker 1: if you're just one of the loyal subscribers who makes
- 1:53:09Speaker 1: us part of your week and we are your weekly
- 1:53:12Speaker 1: therapy session. Uh, we really appreciate you. And of course
- 1:53:15Speaker 1: for all of you who go to patreon dot com
- 1:53:17Speaker 1: slash therapy who have given as little as a buck
- 1:53:20Speaker 1: but joined us and been a part of us and
- 1:53:22Speaker 1: been part of the community, spoken up in discord, introduced
- 1:53:25Speaker 1: yourself to us, weighed in on questions and giving people support.
- 1:53:29Speaker 1: That really gives us life. You know, seeing you guys
- 1:53:31Speaker 1: be a part of this in the background, it gives
- 1:53:33Speaker 1: us that sense of not feeling alone. When you're just
- 1:53:35Speaker 1: four people in a studio making each other laugh, having
- 1:53:38Speaker 1: a good time, it's easy to forget the thousands of
- 1:53:41Speaker 1: people that listen to the show, and.
- 1:53:43Speaker 2: We've been broadcasting this.
- 1:53:46Speaker 1: Yeah, none of this is now, none of this has
- 1:53:52Speaker 1: been recording. This was fun though.
- 1:53:59Speaker 2: Yeah, just for I have a new Year's thing for
- 1:54:02Speaker 2: you listeners, especially if you're not a Patreon already. You
- 1:54:05Speaker 2: can do a yearly subscription right now at patreons. You
- 1:54:09Speaker 2: go over to patreon dot com slash therapy, get yourself
- 1:54:11Speaker 2: a yearly subscription upond therapy. I would suggest a ten
- 1:54:14Speaker 2: dollars a month level, so it's one hundred and twenty
- 1:54:16Speaker 2: dollars for the year. But it's not because when you
- 1:54:19Speaker 2: do the year long subscription, you get a discount, and
- 1:54:23Speaker 2: that discount comes out of Patreon's.
- 1:54:25Speaker 1: In Oh, they take the hit.
- 1:54:27Speaker 2: That's right. So Patreon takes the hit because you're committing
- 1:54:31Speaker 2: to that full year of membership with a contributor, so
- 1:54:35Speaker 2: they take that hit. So go over patreon dot com
- 1:54:39Speaker 2: slash therapy sign up for the full year. I would
- 1:54:41Speaker 2: say the ten dollars level, it's less than one hundred
- 1:54:43Speaker 2: and twenty dollars for the year.
- 1:54:45Speaker 4: You get, you get an episode a week, you get
- 1:54:47Speaker 4: bonus content every week. There's a lot of shit out there,
- 1:54:50Speaker 4: and these are three professional therapists who are in here
- 1:54:53Speaker 4: just doing this and hanging out with a stupid comedian
- 1:54:56Speaker 4: who is a PhD by the way.
- 1:54:58Speaker 1: The dioral comedian. Yeah, doctoral comedian. Yeah.
- 1:55:01Speaker 2: So go over there patreon dot com slash therapy. It's
- 1:55:05Speaker 2: a thing. It's an important thing, you know what. You're
- 1:55:07Speaker 2: listening to it and destigmatizing mental health care.
- 1:55:11Speaker 1: It's a nice thing to do. So go over there.
- 1:55:13Speaker 4: And you can also buy that subscription as a gift
- 1:55:15Speaker 4: for someone else, so you can get it for yourself,
- 1:55:18Speaker 4: and you can also get it for someone else who
- 1:55:20Speaker 4: you think might be really into a show that destigmatizes
- 1:55:23Speaker 4: mental health care like this one does.
- 1:55:25Speaker 1: That's also cunt wallet. Yeah, there's that too. Yeah, we
- 1:55:29Speaker 1: would love to read your name to start off season eight.
- 1:55:33Speaker 1: It would mean the world to us to see more
- 1:55:35Speaker 1: names on the family list. And by the way, quick
- 1:55:37Speaker 1: little PSA. A lot of times people's memberships end at
- 1:55:41Speaker 1: the end of the year, and so this is your
- 1:55:44Speaker 1: reminder that if you're one of our friends on Patreon,
- 1:55:47Speaker 1: maybe double check it and make sure that it's still
- 1:55:48Speaker 1: little love.
- 1:55:49Speaker 2: My credit card that's hooked up to my my personal
- 1:55:51Speaker 2: Patreon is expiring this month.
- 1:55:53Speaker 6: Ah I gotta redo that update that thing.
- 1:55:58Speaker 1: But we do. We do post a week extra stuff
- 1:56:01Speaker 1: every week. And right now I'm launching a two week
- 1:56:04Speaker 1: series that's coming up in two episodes or it's this next.
- 1:56:07Speaker 1: I don't know what episode it airs because it's one even. Yeah,
- 1:56:12Speaker 1: seven more hours I do, I do? That's each seven
- 1:56:15Speaker 1: hours each, yeah, per per cut, fourteen hour cut. No,
- 1:56:19Speaker 1: I'm doing a two episode series on the Sternberg triangular
- 1:56:24Speaker 1: theory of love. So it's a breakdown of eight different
- 1:56:27Speaker 1: types of relationships that you'll see, and it's kind of
- 1:56:30Speaker 1: a breakdown of the different ingredients of love according to Sternberg,
- 1:56:33Speaker 1: and how to keep relationships vital and healthy, and also
- 1:56:36Speaker 1: how to locate your type of relationship in the eight
- 1:56:38Speaker 1: different types of love that are all very legitimate, but
- 1:56:41Speaker 1: sometimes knowing what name to call your specific style of
- 1:56:44Speaker 1: relationship and then understanding how to locate your style versus
- 1:56:47Speaker 1: other people's styles really useful way to think about it.
- 1:56:50Speaker 3: What's what style? Where you get your partner ear plugs?
- 1:56:53Speaker 1: For christ? Yeah, yeah, that's hot hot, think that's what
- 1:56:59Speaker 1: that is? This is this is so embarrassing.
- 1:57:02Speaker 4: I have actually already recorded a ten hour long Steinberg Deep.
- 1:57:10Speaker 1: This is why we have the group thread. Man, you're
- 1:57:12Speaker 1: supposed to let me know.
- 1:57:13Speaker 2: Yeah, that's that's my that's my real already that's already up.
- 1:57:17Speaker 1: He's also recorded U season eight of you already got it.
- 1:57:21Speaker 1: That's already got it. So we just sit this next
- 1:57:23Speaker 1: one out. Yeah, it's the best yet, but it's it's
- 1:57:27Speaker 1: top three. We'll take a sabbatical.
- 1:57:29Speaker 2: It will be nice to.
- 1:57:31Speaker 1: Top three of the seasons in the top half. Oh, anyway,
- 1:57:36Speaker 1: thank you so much. Everybody who sticks with us has
- 1:57:38Speaker 1: become our pals throughout this project. It means the world
- 1:57:41Speaker 1: to us, and it's nice. It feels like this really
- 1:57:43Speaker 1: validates our work. But anyway, as Jacob is saying patroon
- 1:57:46Speaker 1: dot com slash therapy, seeing the support on there means,
- 1:57:50Speaker 1: you know, we can keep this going and it keeps
- 1:57:52Speaker 1: the show possible and it really is the difference maker.
- 1:57:55Speaker 1: So as we are recording this, we are recording this
- 1:57:58Speaker 1: in the past. We're recording this on some day December fifteenth.
- 1:58:01Speaker 1: So if you've joined us and started supporting the show
- 1:58:03Speaker 1: since that date, obviously I'm not about to list you,
- 1:58:06Speaker 1: but we will be getting to you as we start
- 1:58:08Speaker 1: our season eight. Thank you. But thank you very much.
- 1:58:11Speaker 1: But we do have somebody to thank who, according to
- 1:58:14Speaker 1: this date, is our newest therapeal.
- 1:58:16Speaker 2: We got a new therapal.
- 1:58:18Speaker 11: Welcome to the show, God, welcome God like the fish. Yeah, nice,
- 1:58:23Speaker 11: yes would be God. We will all fish listeners. Yeah.
- 1:58:29Speaker 11: So if you're a bass yes, yes, the band or.
- 1:58:35Speaker 1: The animal, yes you don't. It's fine. But thanks to

- 1:58:42Speaker 1: may he reign the dark Lord himself, Jim's fush, Thank you, Dad,
- 1:58:47Speaker 1: and of course the thankful, benevolent, revere, generous and flagrantly
- 1:58:51Speaker 1: pro therapy diehards who love you all so much they
- 1:58:54Speaker 1: give to lit hurts that they're partner's dirty bee and picket.
- 1:58:57Speaker 1: And of course our loyal boss is the mysterious and
- 1:59:01Speaker 1: shrouded Illuminati members of the fan Club that they're producers.

- 2:00:58Speaker 1: tribute Oh hit us, let's go.
- 2:01:01Speaker 2: There we go, double or Nothing? Yes, best of Las Vegas.
- 2:01:11Speaker 2: Back to multiple Choice.
- 2:01:13Speaker 1: Here we go.
- 2:01:14Speaker 2: There's three of them here, so we're obviously gonna give
- 2:01:17Speaker 2: these to Jacob first.
- 2:01:19Speaker 1: Un all right.
- 2:01:20Speaker 2: A German tradition is to hide a certain food in
- 2:01:23Speaker 2: a Christmas tree, and the first one to find it
- 2:01:27Speaker 2: gets a special gift.
- 2:01:28Speaker 1: What is the food? Oh boy, I feel like I
- 2:01:33Speaker 1: want it to be a hot dog. Yeah, I feel
- 2:01:35Speaker 1: like it's a sauage. I don't want. Yeah, I really
- 2:01:41Speaker 1: do think it is. I think it's a broad or something,
- 2:01:45Speaker 1: just a cased meat. Yeah, find the sau bundling this
- 2:01:49Speaker 1: tree and just gripping in the dark. Find the sausage
- 2:01:55Speaker 1: in the fur. That's it. And it's bobbing for apples.
