Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the almost famous podcast with iHeartRadio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Hey, everybody's Bob getting here. I'm a little bit famous
- 0:09Speaker 2: talking about of course Farmer Wants a Wife with the
- 0:13Speaker 2: producer to the stars, the lovely and talented Heather Munday.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Hi, Heather, Hi, Bob. I'm excited about today.
- 0:20Speaker 2: I am too, very excited because we have a very
- 0:24Speaker 2: special guest.
- 0:25Speaker 3: And I'm super excited about this because she has been
- 0:28Speaker 3: a lightning rod this season, to say the least.
- 0:33Speaker 2: She's had a lot of attention, deservedly, so I think
- 0:37Speaker 2: she created a bunch of interesting moments.
- 0:41Speaker 4: We have a lot to get into with her, that's
- 0:43Speaker 4: for sure. So yes, I mean she's got a pageant past,
- 0:48Speaker 4: she's a personal trainer, and she's a bit of a paparazzi.
- 0:52Speaker 4: You know, like what I did there?
- 0:55Speaker 3: I do like that. Yeah, she was very adept with
- 0:58Speaker 3: the camera.
- 0:59Speaker 4: Yeah, obviously we are talking about Carson Hughes from this season.
- 1:05Speaker 1: I think we should bring her in.
- 1:07Speaker 4: Carson, HYI, Hi, We're so excited to chat with you.
- 1:13Speaker 5: I'm excited to be here.
- 1:16Speaker 2: So what an experience, h I mean you had to
- 1:18Speaker 2: do this first of all? Okay, Carson, because you're young,
- 1:20Speaker 2: you might not know who I am. So I was
- 1:22Speaker 2: one of the original Bachelor's Okay, dating way back in
- 1:25Speaker 2: the day. I was on Trista's season of the Bacherette,
- 1:29Speaker 2: and then they made me the Bachelor right after then.
- 1:31Speaker 2: So this goes back before you were born. But I
- 1:35Speaker 2: will tell you that we had no shortage of moments
- 1:40Speaker 2: like some of the ones that you experienced on your show.
- 1:42Speaker 3: And I was very excited.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Both Heather and I both were very excited to watch
- 1:47Speaker 2: this season and to get to know you and to
- 1:49Speaker 2: kind of see the ebbs and flows of what you
- 1:51Speaker 2: went through.
- 1:52Speaker 3: I mean, first of all, I will tell.
- 1:54Speaker 2: You I feel like I have a I feel like
- 1:58Speaker 2: you and I would be buddies. You bust out the camera.
- 2:02Speaker 2: It's adorable. You take it pictures. You know you're doing
- 2:05Speaker 2: it thing. I mean, Heather said, okay, if I just
- 2:07Speaker 2: get ready to do it. I know, Bob, the whole
- 2:10Speaker 2: litany of things we wanted to ask you, But I said,
- 2:13Speaker 2: what a brilliant tactical move to throw those pictures up on.
- 2:18Speaker 3: The refrigerator, right so when everyone else comes over, it's like,
- 2:21Speaker 3: welcome to our home.
- 2:23Speaker 2: That's how I saw, and I thought it was brilliant
- 2:26Speaker 2: adorable as well. I mean the pictures were cute. Heather's like, no,
- 2:29Speaker 2: I don't think so. I don't think that's the case.
- 2:31Speaker 2: Will you please solve this burning question for us. I
- 2:34Speaker 2: think it may have started off just as or whatever,
- 2:36Speaker 2: but it was a brilliant move.
- 2:38Speaker 3: You got under some people's skin with that move, and
- 2:40Speaker 3: I liked it. Did you do it intentionally or was
- 2:43Speaker 3: it more just being in the moment.
- 2:46Speaker 5: I cannot take credit for that move, unfortunately, no.
- 2:50Speaker 2: But did some producers perhaps encourage you to throw those
- 2:53Speaker 2: pictures up on the fridge?
- 2:56Speaker 5: I can tell you this. I saw them for the
- 2:58Speaker 5: first time when the girls saw them as well.
- 3:01Speaker 4: Okay, this kind of goes back to what I said,
- 3:06Speaker 4: which was when those girls first went into the house,
- 3:09Speaker 4: they were told to look around real hard. I think,
- 3:12Speaker 4: because first thing I do is I don't, you know,
- 3:16Speaker 4: look at the fridge when I walk in, and I'm
- 3:18Speaker 4: looking at my new digs.
- 3:19Speaker 1: But that's just me.
- 3:19Speaker 4: Okay, that's a really good insight that we're reading between
- 3:23Speaker 4: the lines from that. Like Bob kind of mentioned, you
- 3:28Speaker 4: were the first one to get a solo date with
- 3:31Speaker 4: Farmer Braiden, which, in a lot of ways I thought
- 3:35Speaker 4: was a big telling moment, right because on that first
- 3:38Speaker 4: night the farmers had to meet so many women that
- 3:42Speaker 4: it's almost like the first impression rose on The Bachelor
- 3:45Speaker 4: if you get invited back to the farm first.
- 3:47Speaker 1: We see a lot of parallels with that.
- 3:50Speaker 4: And I wanted to know, because you also got the
- 3:55Speaker 4: first kiss with farmer Braiden, what would you rate.
- 3:59Speaker 1: His kissing skills on a scale of one to ten.
- 4:02Speaker 5: Okay, we did not actually kiss, so it was a
- 4:06Speaker 5: cheek action. It was a cheek actions.
- 4:09Speaker 1: It's hard, yeah with the cover, Okay.
- 4:15Speaker 3: Yes, it throws off our death perception.
- 4:17Speaker 5: M I know looking at the pictures too, I'm sure
- 4:20Speaker 5: the girls seeing that on a fridge were like, did
- 4:23Speaker 5: they kiss? Did they not? I can say right now
- 4:25Speaker 5: we did not kiss.
- 4:27Speaker 4: Okay, So the fridge though moment was a lot of
- 4:33Speaker 4: tension in the house. I think that was what started things.
- 4:38Speaker 4: And we'll get into kind of you know, what the
- 4:41Speaker 4: women were alluding to later on when it comes to
- 4:44Speaker 4: you and things that happened off camera. But I want
- 4:47Speaker 4: to know from your perspective, who do you think was
- 4:50Speaker 4: the most calculated one in the house.
- 4:53Speaker 5: Oh gosh, that throws people under the bus. Oh, gosh, okay,
- 4:58Speaker 5: I felt like that is such like a I think
- 5:01Speaker 5: we all I will say this, we all have calculated moments,
- 5:05Speaker 5: myself included. I will one hundred percent say that you
- 5:08Speaker 5: are four or five girls all dating the same person,
- 5:10Speaker 5: and you're trying to think like, how can I make
- 5:12Speaker 5: sure that he still sees me in this moment? And
- 5:16Speaker 5: so with that, I don't think that there's anybody that
- 5:18Speaker 5: is I would say one hundred percent more calculated than
- 5:20Speaker 5: anyone else. I think we all had our different versions
- 5:22Speaker 5: of calculations and what we were doing.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Bob, would you say that was a perfect pageant answer?
- 5:27Speaker 2: Just honestly that's I think that goes the way along
- 5:30Speaker 2: with I wish for world peace exactly for you know,
- 5:34Speaker 2: childhood obesity to be eradicated from the planet.
- 5:37Speaker 3: I think it goes along with all that.
- 5:39Speaker 4: Carson, we're pulling your leg. We love that you are
- 5:42Speaker 4: a proud pageant girl. Why don't we just rewind a
- 5:45Speaker 4: little bit, Miss Texas exactly, why don't we rewind and
- 5:48Speaker 4: you tell us a little bit about how you got
- 5:50Speaker 4: into pageants, why you got into pageants, because I think
- 5:52Speaker 4: that is a through line too with your connection with
- 5:55Speaker 4: the other women in the house.
- 5:57Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:57Speaker 5: So a lot of people don't know this, but I
- 5:59Speaker 5: actually got into pageantry because I did not come from
- 6:02Speaker 5: a family where we had the funds for me to
- 6:04Speaker 5: go to college, and so I did it for scholarship money,
- 6:07Speaker 5: and so I was able to pay off all my
- 6:09Speaker 5: student debts, all my student loans. So that was a blessing.
- 6:12Speaker 5: I'm still currently going through college even at you know,
- 6:15Speaker 5: twenty six years old, and that's just a fun thing.
- 6:18Speaker 5: But I've told myself, I'm not going to allow myself
- 6:21Speaker 5: to be in debt for something that, you know, when
- 6:23Speaker 5: I can go through pageants and maybe make some money
- 6:26Speaker 5: with it.
- 6:27Speaker 3: Smart, that's awesome, Yeah, very smart.
- 6:29Speaker 1: What were you studying in school?
- 6:31Speaker 5: Yeah, so I originally started out for architectural engineering. So
- 6:35Speaker 5: my dad was a general contractor and so you know,
- 6:37Speaker 5: I was kind of always in that construction realm of things.
- 6:40Speaker 5: But I loved knowing, like the design of buildings. I
- 6:42Speaker 5: was big into legos when I was a kid, and
- 6:44Speaker 5: so I just want to do that for a living.
- 6:47Speaker 5: And so yeah, that's what I went for. But I
- 6:49Speaker 5: have previously, I mean, like I would aheadn't swapped that
- 6:53Speaker 5: I realized maybe that's not the best thing for me.
- 6:56Speaker 5: And I'm actually going back in for nursing because that's
- 6:59Speaker 5: my that's like my own time go is anything in
- 7:01Speaker 5: the healthcare industry. I'm a personal trainer right now. So yeah,
- 7:04Speaker 5: I love it.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Very cool, that's awesome. I like both of those items.
- 7:08Speaker 3: I like both of those fields of study.
- 7:10Speaker 2: I mean, I was a telecommunications major, and you know,
- 7:13Speaker 2: a lot of people don't realize that.
- 7:15Speaker 3: But I use my degree every day, right, Heather.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Definitely, you do? You do.
- 7:18Speaker 4: I'm a college drop out. I went for journalism school.
- 7:22Speaker 4: Nobody cares, but I still feel like I use what
- 7:26Speaker 4: I learned in those four years that I was in
- 7:27Speaker 4: school somewhat like.
- 7:29Speaker 3: Yeah, I love it. I love it all right.
- 7:31Speaker 2: So here's one of my questions that I think is,
- 7:36Speaker 2: did you feel like there was at one point in
- 7:38Speaker 2: the show, and I don't want to skip around too much,
- 7:40Speaker 2: but there was at one point in the show where
- 7:41Speaker 2: you kind of brought it up that this experience was
- 7:44Speaker 2: bringing back some flashbacks for you from your pageant days,
- 7:48Speaker 2: and it was a little bit around. I think some
- 7:50Speaker 2: of the cattiness potentially that I guess it could be
- 7:53Speaker 2: labeled that or maybe that you didn't like that you
- 7:56Speaker 2: kind of had a little bit of a target on your.
- 7:57Speaker 3: Back, and so what did you mean by that?
- 8:00Speaker 2: Like, what was it primarily that made you feel that
- 8:02Speaker 2: way that it was one of those things where you
- 8:03Speaker 2: were kind of like, I've been here before, I'm not
- 8:06Speaker 2: doing this again, you know, I'm out.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 8:09Speaker 5: I think it was one of those things that things
- 8:11Speaker 5: can be said and they can be misconstrued very easily,
- 8:14Speaker 5: especially when tensions are high. And so with that for
- 8:17Speaker 5: somebody not to come to you and say, hey, I
- 8:19Speaker 5: need a little bit more clarification on this, like you
- 8:21Speaker 5: said this, I took it this way. Is this correct?
- 8:24Speaker 5: No one. No one wanted to do that. Instead, they
- 8:27Speaker 5: kind of wanted to talk amongst themselves and in that group.
- 8:30Speaker 5: And with that, that's that's fun. You know, you handle
- 8:33Speaker 5: however you need to handle things. But for me, it's
- 8:35Speaker 5: like I would have gladly given an explanation. I would
- 8:37Speaker 5: have gladly talked through that. And I will say we
- 8:39Speaker 5: did get to that point, but I did not know
- 8:42Speaker 5: that things were being said until I was actually sitting
- 8:44Speaker 5: in that chair and they filmed my reaction to it.
- 8:47Speaker 2: All, which was which was the laugh I think, right,
- 8:49Speaker 2: which was the Yes, it was.
- 8:54Speaker 4: A very uncomfy laugh.
- 8:57Speaker 3: It was you could tell you something was going to happen.
- 8:59Speaker 5: Yeah, I was like, what is going on right now?
- 9:04Speaker 5: So yeah, that was one of those things. And I
- 9:06Speaker 5: made it very clear to you to these girls, I
- 9:08Speaker 5: we'll never say anything on camera bad about somebody else
- 9:11Speaker 5: in those one on one interviews because number one, I'm
- 9:13Speaker 5: gonna speak to you about it first. I want to
- 9:15Speaker 5: clear that up. I'm somebody I hate that type of
- 9:18Speaker 5: tension and that type of conflict, So it's like for me,
- 9:21Speaker 5: I'm gonna come to you first. I'm gonna figure it out.
- 9:24Speaker 5: Sometimes I may not always have the best way of
- 9:27Speaker 5: explaining things in the moment, but I'd rather try and
- 9:29Speaker 5: explain it than to sit on it and let it
- 9:31Speaker 5: ste and make it angryer or angry about something.
- 9:34Speaker 3: Worse and worse.
- 9:35Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 9:36Speaker 4: Yeah, going back to Bob's question, he brought up the
- 9:49Speaker 4: pageant past. You also said that your pageant pass got
- 9:52Speaker 4: so bad with whatever this was that you actually.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Had to move states. Yeah that was that, Like, yeah,
- 9:59Speaker 1: that's all It's crazy.
- 10:01Speaker 5: I mean, yet again, I competed in Tennessee, so that's
- 10:04Speaker 5: where I was born and raised. Is the Nashville, Tennessee area.
- 10:06Speaker 5: I competed in the Miss Tennessee pageants, and with that
- 10:10Speaker 5: I had some girls that I didn't realize we're saying
- 10:13Speaker 5: things until I had already competed in the pageant. Didn't realize,
- 10:17Speaker 5: you know, any of this went on. Nobody came up
- 10:19Speaker 5: between Nobody talk to me about it. What's oddly like
- 10:21Speaker 5: oddly funny is I never really spoke to this girl,
- 10:24Speaker 5: so I had no clue that she would even be
- 10:26Speaker 5: somebody that would have said anything. And yet again, it
- 10:29Speaker 5: was one of those things that people didn't they didn't
- 10:31Speaker 5: want to hear my side of the story. They just
- 10:33Speaker 5: wanted to go with it and see how far they
- 10:35Speaker 5: could get to make sure that I wasn't somebody that
- 10:39Speaker 5: I would say placed or you know, had attention on
- 10:42Speaker 5: them for a positive reason.
- 10:44Speaker 3: Right.
- 10:45Speaker 2: Yeah, that's like one of the bad raps that I
- 10:48Speaker 2: think a pageant could possibly have, right, is that there's
- 10:51Speaker 2: this there's this kind of behind the scenes I don't know.
- 10:54Speaker 2: I mean, I my only you know, affiliation with pageantry
- 10:57Speaker 2: is is you know, miscongeniality. Sorry book, And I really
- 11:02Speaker 2: felt like Miss Congeniality too gave me such.
- 11:04Speaker 3: A more in depth vision of that world.
- 11:07Speaker 2: But no, it is kind of curious because you know,
- 11:10Speaker 2: I'm not sure are you still watching the show now
- 11:13Speaker 2: that you've left the show, or were you just kind
- 11:16Speaker 2: of like I'm done.
- 11:17Speaker 3: I'm still watching it.
- 11:18Speaker 5: I'm so excited for tomorrow.
- 11:19Speaker 3: Are you kidding me?
- 11:20Speaker 7: Okay, Okay, you know there's some of that still happening, right, Yeah, no, absolutely,
- 11:26Speaker 7: But you know, for me, it's one of those things
- 11:27Speaker 7: that I wish these girls nothing but the best, and
- 11:29Speaker 7: I want to watch it play out for them and
- 11:31Speaker 7: you know, see all their their has in it, so
- 11:34Speaker 7: I'm I'm cheering them on every step of the way.
- 11:36Speaker 5: So of course I'm watching.
- 11:38Speaker 3: That's awesome. Do they have a reunion show in the mix?
- 11:41Speaker 3: Like do they get you all back together again or not?
- 11:43Speaker 6: I wish.
- 11:43Speaker 5: I feel like that would be so much fun, you know,
- 11:45Speaker 5: because it's like I don't even know how it ended.
- 11:48Speaker 5: I don't know anything. So I'm getting to watch it
- 11:51Speaker 5: and kind of be part of the crowd again and
- 11:53Speaker 5: see because yeah I don't I don't have any insight
- 11:56Speaker 5: to what actually takes place.
- 11:58Speaker 2: I think I see the name Molly Walker on my screen.
- 12:02Speaker 2: I just want to say it for the record, Molly Walker,
- 12:04Speaker 2: I think we should do a reunion podcast of all
- 12:07Speaker 2: the girls before the finale, just put it out there,
- 12:09Speaker 2: because I think we could really handle this, We could
- 12:11Speaker 2: really help navigate this and bring it a big put
- 12:14Speaker 2: a big bow on it.
- 12:15Speaker 3: Oh my goodness, what do you think, super Producer?
- 12:17Speaker 4: Yes, Molly, I think we're definitely going to be speaking
- 12:21Speaker 4: to the farmers and their final picks and some more women,
- 12:24Speaker 4: you know, throughout this season as we're watching, you know,
- 12:27Speaker 4: some of the ones that really stick out to us especially,
- 12:29Speaker 4: and that's why we're starting with carsonon because she really
- 12:32Speaker 4: did make an impression on us when we were watching.
- 12:35Speaker 4: And I think, Bob, the most burning question that you
- 12:38Speaker 4: and I both have and have said while recapping this
- 12:42Speaker 4: is we need to know what did you say off
- 12:46Speaker 4: camera that the women went and alluded to to farmer Braden.
- 12:54Speaker 5: Yeah, that's a really good question. I'm not gonna lie.
- 12:57Speaker 5: I would love to know the answer to that too.
- 13:00Speaker 3: Stop. You don't know either.
- 13:01Speaker 4: You don't know what they could have possibly pulled at
- 13:04Speaker 4: to say that you had the uncorrect motives for being
- 13:09Speaker 4: on the show. I mean, it's a direct correlation to
- 13:12Speaker 4: your character. And they said specifically that you said poor
- 13:16Speaker 4: things about Farmer Braiden himself.
- 13:20Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm gonna be honest. My jaw was on the
- 13:22Speaker 5: ground when I heard that. I was I was sitting
- 13:26Speaker 5: there and I was like, oh, out of all the
- 13:28Speaker 5: things I could conjure up, I'm just like, there's no way,
- 13:32Speaker 5: because I can tell you right now there is nothing
- 13:34Speaker 5: but just like joy and excitement and just so much fun.
- 13:38Speaker 5: When I think of Farmer Braiden, there was no negatives
- 13:41Speaker 5: for me to ever talk about him like.
- 13:43Speaker 4: Ever, you were pretty shook at the fact that the
- 13:46Speaker 4: farm was really isolated in a way when Farmer Braiden
- 13:50Speaker 4: told you that if you wanted to go get butter,
- 13:52Speaker 4: it was gonna be a thirty minute drive to town.
- 13:55Speaker 4: Could there been any confusion or you know, any content
- 14:00Speaker 4: text or something missing from a conversation about being way
- 14:03Speaker 4: out secluded if you were to live there and maybe
- 14:06Speaker 4: not being familiar with that or super interested in that,
- 14:09Speaker 4: that the women could have taken wrong.
- 14:12Speaker 5: So I will say this, when we were in the
- 14:15Speaker 5: barn before we all got picked and taken back, I
- 14:18Speaker 5: had my time with Branden, and I came back and
- 14:21Speaker 5: I was kind of talking with the girls and well,
- 14:23Speaker 5: how do you think it went? How do you think went?
- 14:24Speaker 5: And I told him I was like, I genuinely don't know.
- 14:26Speaker 5: I'm blacked out. I have no clue what happened in
- 14:28Speaker 5: that moment. And I was like, but I feel like
- 14:29Speaker 5: I was a little bit commanding and a little bit
- 14:32Speaker 5: overbearing in that moment, and so I felt that I
- 14:36Speaker 5: was like, this man is thinking that I'm I'm crazy,
- 14:40Speaker 5: like I'm trying to take control, and I was not
- 14:43Speaker 5: trying to take control. I'm just one of those people
- 14:45Speaker 5: that it's like, for instance, I brought the camera out
- 14:48Speaker 5: and we took the picture on our date and he
- 14:50Speaker 5: said it behind the rock, and then we just never
- 14:53Speaker 5: looked at again. And I was like, June, why don't
- 14:55Speaker 5: you look at the picture? I was like, going a picture,
- 14:57Speaker 5: And I was like, you can put in your pocket,
- 14:58Speaker 5: you can put it right.
- 14:59Speaker 3: There, you can keep it. Yeah. Yeah.
- 15:01Speaker 5: And so it was one of those things that for
- 15:03Speaker 5: that alone, I was like, maybe I was a little
- 15:05Speaker 5: too pushy with some things I don't know. And so
- 15:09Speaker 5: I told the girls that, and so I think for
- 15:12Speaker 5: them them hearing my concerns and being like, oh, Carson's
- 15:15Speaker 5: Carson may not make it bluh blah blah, and then
- 15:17Speaker 5: getting picked for the first date. That was probably in
- 15:19Speaker 5: their mind like is this girl just fibbing? Is she
- 15:23Speaker 5: you know? But that's genuinely how I felt. I was like,
- 15:26Speaker 5: I think I just scared this poor guy away. But yeah,
- 15:30Speaker 5: so maybe that was it. Maybe they were like, oh,
- 15:32Speaker 5: you know, she doesn't tell you the truth. But that
- 15:35Speaker 5: was my honest feelings towards it.
- 15:37Speaker 2: So never never a moment then, never like even a
- 15:40Speaker 2: moment of tension between you and the other girls.
- 15:42Speaker 5: That okay, now, that would I would say, that would
- 15:45Speaker 5: be a little bit going for at all. I can
- 15:48Speaker 5: drill that with that. I did. There were a couple things,
- 15:51Speaker 5: but again they were off camera. They were things that
- 15:54Speaker 5: I would say again, it was just taken it away
- 15:57Speaker 5: that I don't think anybody would have expected it to
- 16:00Speaker 5: be taken in that way. There was a situation where
- 16:05Speaker 5: the dog ate a grape and I don't know if
- 16:06Speaker 5: you guys know about dogs and.
- 16:07Speaker 3: Grapes not supposed to eat.
- 16:09Speaker 5: No, no, yes, And it does not matter how big
- 16:11Speaker 5: they are, it does not matter anything. Well, I had
- 16:14Speaker 5: just gone through something.
- 16:15Speaker 4: I did not know this information, and I'm actually shook
- 16:18Speaker 4: it because I gave my puppy a grape last week.
- 16:22Speaker 1: I didn't know. I'm not supposed.
- 16:24Speaker 5: Yeah, it's extremeingly toxic, like it like one break can
- 16:28Speaker 5: kill a dog.
- 16:30Speaker 4: You're lucky to be alive, Percy. Wow, Yes, guys, I've
- 16:35Speaker 4: actually shook. He kept spitting it out, and I kept
- 16:38Speaker 4: being like.
- 16:39Speaker 1: No, no, no, eat it, eat it.
- 16:41Speaker 3: Is that why you followed up with a Snickers bar
- 16:43Speaker 3: for him? Because you know chocolate's no good either.
- 16:45Speaker 1: I mean I gave him a whole thing at chocolate
- 16:48Speaker 1: right after.
- 16:50Speaker 4: I'm sorry to interrupt, never knew you're not supposed to
- 16:53Speaker 4: give a dog grapes.
- 16:54Speaker 1: Continue continue. So the dog ate a grape.
- 16:57Speaker 5: The dog ate a grape, and I was asked. They
- 16:59Speaker 5: were like, do you think it's okay that bogie ate
- 17:01Speaker 5: a grape? But I was like no, I was like,
- 17:03Speaker 5: that is so not okay. Well, they don't realize my
- 17:07Speaker 5: experience with this. I just spent just a few weeks ago,
- 17:09Speaker 5: I would say, an entire five days in an er
- 17:13Speaker 5: with my dog who had eaten We didn't even know
- 17:16Speaker 5: if he ate one grape or four grapes. There was
- 17:17Speaker 5: a grape stem with a bag that was ripped open
- 17:20Speaker 5: and so I had spent that time with him and
- 17:22Speaker 5: my dogs or my babies, like I love them more
- 17:25Speaker 5: than life, and so coming to that close of like
- 17:28Speaker 5: in my mind a near death experience with my puppy,
- 17:30Speaker 5: I didn't want anybody else to be in that situation,
- 17:33Speaker 5: so I did. I was like, oh gosh, no, I
- 17:34Speaker 5: was like, that's not okay, Like we need to get
- 17:36Speaker 5: somebody right now, We need hydroperoxide, we need to make
- 17:38Speaker 5: sure that he throws up because we don't know how
- 17:41Speaker 5: that will react in bogie system. And I think in
- 17:46Speaker 5: that moment it was just a very harsh reaction of like, no,
- 17:49Speaker 5: he's not okay, and so the individual thought, you know,
- 17:52Speaker 5: like I was blaming them. There was no blame at all.
- 17:55Speaker 5: I know it was an accident. But for me, it's
- 17:57Speaker 5: like I want to make sure Brandon's dog's okay. Number
- 17:59Speaker 5: One in because I just had that reaction of like
- 18:03Speaker 5: I need to go in and I need to save
- 18:04Speaker 5: this dog's life because.
- 18:06Speaker 3: I just don't know my dog. So right, big dog
- 18:20Speaker 3: or small dog?
- 18:20Speaker 2: What do you have?
- 18:21Speaker 3: Big dogs are small dogs?
- 18:22Speaker 2: Oh?
- 18:22Speaker 5: I have big dogs. I have three. So yes, it's
- 18:25Speaker 5: a Gold Retriever German Shepherd and then like a husky
- 18:27Speaker 5: German shepherd mix.
- 18:29Speaker 3: Awesome.
- 18:30Speaker 2: Gotta love those big dogs, you know. And I like
- 18:32Speaker 2: the small dogs too, how there I do, But you
- 18:34Speaker 2: got to love those big dogs.
- 18:36Speaker 1: Oh yes, I am.
- 18:37Speaker 4: Honestly, this is a full blown lesson for me because
- 18:40Speaker 4: I had no idea and I literally never feed him
- 18:44Speaker 4: scraps and I gave him a grape and I could
- 18:47Speaker 4: have killed him.
- 18:48Speaker 1: I have no I had no idea, no idea. He's kicking,
- 18:50Speaker 1: he's breathing.
- 18:51Speaker 5: Now, it's okay, it's right.
- 18:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm sure it's I'm sure it's already, you know,
- 18:56Speaker 3: out in your yard.
- 18:57Speaker 4: I honestly think I had to. I kept encouraging him,
- 18:59Speaker 4: and I think I just gave up. I don't even
- 19:01Speaker 4: know if he actually fully ate it. But anyways, anyways,
- 19:05Speaker 4: so that was the moment that possibly created some tension
- 19:08Speaker 4: between you and the women.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Got it.
- 19:11Speaker 4: I want to go to your exit conversation with Farmer Braden,
- 19:16Speaker 4: because you decided a lot.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Like some other women that we've seen on the show.
- 19:22Speaker 4: A lot of women have decided to leave this experience
- 19:25Speaker 4: on their eliminate eliminate, which we're all for it. You know,
- 19:29Speaker 4: take ownership of your situation and if you're not feeling it,
- 19:32Speaker 4: you're not feeling it. But in your exit conversation with
- 19:36Speaker 4: Farmer Braiden, I thought that you used very specific language
- 19:40Speaker 4: when you were speaking to him, because you said that
- 19:43Speaker 4: you couldn't come back after the comments that the women
- 19:48Speaker 4: had made about you.
- 19:49Speaker 1: So I want to know, did you mean come.
- 19:52Speaker 4: Back in the sense that you and Farmer Braden couldn't
- 19:57Speaker 4: move past this or build upon this situation in your relationship,
- 20:03Speaker 4: or did you mean come back in the sense of
- 20:05Speaker 4: with the audience that you could already foresee how this
- 20:09Speaker 4: was being planted and painted for your image on the show.
- 20:13Speaker 5: I think it's a little bit of both, but there
- 20:15Speaker 5: is a heavier way with Brandon, and I said in
- 20:18Speaker 5: my little exit interview, I talked about how, you know,
- 20:20Speaker 5: there were those winks and there were those moments with
- 20:22Speaker 5: him that you could really tell like he was still
- 20:25Speaker 5: connected and he was still wanting to pursue and then
- 20:28Speaker 5: after the horse race, it was no longer there. And
- 20:31Speaker 5: that was also the same time when I ended up
- 20:33Speaker 5: finding out like I thought, he came over to me
- 20:36Speaker 5: to talk to me because he wanted to and like
- 20:38Speaker 5: that was just him like wanting to form a connection.
- 20:39Speaker 5: I did not realize that the girls had talked to
- 20:42Speaker 5: him yet, and so kind of hearing that and hearing
- 20:44Speaker 5: you know, the whole reason why you came up to
- 20:46Speaker 5: me was because you were wanting to settle something rather
- 20:49Speaker 5: than to like really see how I was doing and
- 20:51Speaker 5: go from there. And that kind of opened my eyes
- 20:55Speaker 5: to some things. I'm like, Okay, I'm not sure that
- 20:58Speaker 5: it's even worth it to be another playing card in
- 21:02Speaker 5: the deck, because at this point it's like, I'm if
- 21:06Speaker 5: I'm not getting the same type of pursuit that I
- 21:10Speaker 5: had in the beginning. Are you ever going to come
- 21:12Speaker 5: back to that, you know? And so it's very easy
- 21:15Speaker 5: for me to be like, let me make this choice simple,
- 21:18Speaker 5: Like if you're already given some other girls the as
- 21:21Speaker 5: go for them, you know, it's like, this is your
- 21:23Speaker 5: ability to find your future person. I want you to
- 21:26Speaker 5: have the best chance of that. And so if I
- 21:29Speaker 5: know it's not me, I'll let you pick whoever you need.
- 21:31Speaker 5: I can go home to my doggies if.
- 21:33Speaker 4: You've given a little bit of a fight and said
- 21:36Speaker 4: like I don't care what they say, or please don't go.
- 21:40Speaker 1: I want you to stay. Do you think you would
- 21:42Speaker 1: have in that moment or was your mind pretty much
- 21:44Speaker 1: made up?
- 21:44Speaker 5: I mean, intentionality can definitely change things. Someone's intentions and
- 21:48Speaker 5: where they are willing to put effort, that can definitely
- 21:51Speaker 5: change things. But you know, in the at the end
- 21:53Speaker 5: of the day, I'm home and I'm I'm living my
- 21:57Speaker 5: best life. So I think it worked out. Exist it
- 22:00Speaker 5: should have worked out.
- 22:01Speaker 3: That's good.
- 22:02Speaker 2: I love that one.
- 22:03Speaker 3: I have one more question for you.
- 22:04Speaker 2: So when you watch the show back now, like you've
- 22:06Speaker 2: been watching along along with everyone else, right, and you
- 22:09Speaker 2: see all of these farmers who I happened to like,
- 22:13Speaker 2: all of these guys, and I think they did a
- 22:15Speaker 2: great job casting the show with the ladies too, And
- 22:19Speaker 2: when you watch back, do you, obviously, now, especially with
- 22:22Speaker 2: you know, hindsight, being twenty twenty year home already, you're
- 22:24Speaker 2: with your dogs, you're happy when you see these other
- 22:27Speaker 2: relationships playing out, do you see yourself possibly having a
- 22:30Speaker 2: better mash potentially with one of the other farmers or
- 22:35Speaker 2: do you you know, are you sitting there watching and going,
- 22:37Speaker 2: oh my god, look at that guy's mustache, you know, like, are.
- 22:40Speaker 3: You thinking about that? Yeah?
- 22:42Speaker 5: Is that just me?
- 22:42Speaker 3: Because Heather is very, very into fire I.
- 22:46Speaker 1: Got hard eyes for farmer Brett for sure.
- 22:48Speaker 4: But that's a good question, because, yeah, do you wish
- 22:51Speaker 4: to go off of what Bob said. Do you wish
- 22:53Speaker 4: you kind of pulled a Lauren and switched farmers if
- 22:57Speaker 4: you had, now that you've seen their personality he's playing
- 23:00Speaker 4: out on camera.
- 23:01Speaker 3: Oh gosh.
- 23:02Speaker 5: That that's a hard question because I honestly don't know
- 23:06Speaker 5: how much I'm allowed to share in this, the selection
- 23:10Speaker 5: process and things. But you know, we got we got
- 23:13Speaker 5: little snippets of them that, you know, we could we
- 23:16Speaker 5: could rank our farmers from And I would have never
- 23:19Speaker 5: guessed that I would have been in Illinois, but I was.
- 23:22Speaker 5: And you know, I think there's always reasons for things
- 23:26Speaker 5: in life, and that for me, like maybe this was
- 23:30Speaker 5: this was a reason for me to experience this because
- 23:32Speaker 5: I wasn't meant to be a farmer.
- 23:34Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 23:35Speaker 1: I really don't know.
- 23:37Speaker 3: So that's an interesting answer, interesting answer, Bob.
- 23:43Speaker 2: I want to know.
- 23:44Speaker 4: Carson is saying she's living her best life back at home.
- 23:49Speaker 4: Does that mean that you're dating I'm going to take
- 23:56Speaker 4: that long pause as a yes, Bob, I don't know.
- 23:59Speaker 3: That she and when it went when it goes up
- 24:01Speaker 3: in octave like that. I think that means something for sure.
- 24:04Speaker 5: Yes, No, I can one hundred percent say that, Yes
- 24:06Speaker 5: I am dating and I am not dating a farmer,
- 24:11Speaker 5: but I am dating somebody that I will say is
- 24:13Speaker 5: quite dreamy and everything that I would ever want said.
- 24:17Speaker 3: Love that for you.
- 24:19Speaker 4: It goes back to my theory, Bob, which I tell
- 24:22Speaker 4: a lot of people because Carson I previously have cast
- 24:26Speaker 4: a lot of dating shows specifically, and I've always said
- 24:30Speaker 4: to people when they're in the sign up process that like, hey,
- 24:33Speaker 4: the odds might not be in your favor to actually
- 24:36Speaker 4: find love on camera, but I can pretty much guarantee
- 24:40Speaker 4: that if you use the experience to put out to
- 24:42Speaker 4: the world on a large platform who you are, love
- 24:45Speaker 4: will walk into your life pretty close after being on
- 24:48Speaker 4: the show. And so, guys, this is living proof. This
- 24:51Speaker 4: is Carson saying she's found somebody dreamy after being on
- 24:54Speaker 4: season four.
- 24:55Speaker 1: A farmer wants a wife.
- 24:56Speaker 3: So deservedly, so too exactly deserve it for you.
- 25:00Speaker 5: Yes, thank you.
- 25:02Speaker 4: This has been so fun, Bob, not only getting to
- 25:06Speaker 4: talk to Carson, but you know the fact that we're
- 25:09Speaker 4: recapping this whole season. It's been a blast. So everybody
- 25:13Speaker 4: can definitely tune into Farmer Wants a Wife. It's on
- 25:16Speaker 4: Tuesdays and we will continue to be recapping the show
