Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Welcome.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It is Verdict with Senator Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson with you.
- 0:04Speaker 2: It's so nice to have you with us if you
- 0:05Speaker 2: are listening on radio stations around the country. And Senator,
- 0:09Speaker 2: we've got a lot to talk about in the show,
- 0:11Speaker 2: including some really great numbers that deal with the economy,
- 0:15Speaker 2: and they're being completely overlooked by the media who wants
- 0:19Speaker 2: it to be doom and gloom before the midterms.
- 0:21Speaker 3: So today, the Census Bureau released new numbers, and Right now, today,
- 0:27Speaker 3: in America, we have the highest median income for American
- 0:32Speaker 3: families ever recorded, ever recorded in history. At the same time,
- 0:38Speaker 3: we have the lowest poverty rate ever recorded in history.
- 0:43Speaker 3: Both of these are historical records. It is a big
- 0:48Speaker 3: damn deal. And you know what? I'm willing to bet
- 0:51Speaker 3: money it didn't lead the news enough. on ABC News.
- 0:55Speaker 3: It didn't lead the news on NBC News. It didn't
- 0:57Speaker 3: lead the news on CNN. Because we are six weeks
- 1:02Speaker 3: out from an election. And the only thing they want
- 1:05Speaker 3: to cover is how bad the economy is, how terrible
- 1:08Speaker 3: everything is. Don't believe the facts. Don't believe the numbers.
- 1:12Speaker 3: Just believe their message that orange man bad, Trump bad.
- 1:17Speaker 3: That's all they want to say. These numbers are a big,
- 1:22Speaker 3: big deal. They're cause to celebrate. And we all ought
- 1:25Speaker 3: to be celebrating.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Yeah, they're really incredible.
- 1:29Speaker 2: And we're going to break them down for you in
- 1:30Speaker 2: a moment so that you understand what this means for
- 1:33Speaker 2: so many Americans, especially those that were living in poverty.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Before we get to that, if you're going to change
- 1:38Speaker 2: someone's life, you want to know what actually lasts. And
- 1:41Speaker 2: that's one reason Compassion International has become one of the
- 1:44Speaker 2: most trusted child development ministries in the world. Now, independent
- 1:49Speaker 2: research shows children sponsored through Compassion, they stay in school longer.
- 1:54Speaker 2: They're 40% more likely to graduate from high school. And
- 1:57Speaker 2: this is incredible, 80% more likely to finish college. And
- 2:02Speaker 2: that's because sponsorship isn't just temporary relief. It's a long-term
- 2:06Speaker 2: investment through the local church, meeting the fiscal needs while
- 2:11Speaker 2: sharing the hope of Jesus. Now, you can join me
- 2:13Speaker 2: and do what I do, which is you can sponsor
- 2:15Speaker 2: a child for just $ 43 a month, and you can
- 2:18Speaker 2: help shape a child's future forever. So sponsor a child
- 2:22Speaker 2: today at Compassion.com. That's Compassion.com. So Senator, let's just start
- 2:30Speaker 2: with one of the lines that I think should not
- 2:33Speaker 2: be political. It should be celebrated by everyone in this country,
- 2:36Speaker 2: by the way, who's in Washington, D.C., your colleagues. And
- 2:39Speaker 2: that is we have the lowest level of people living
- 2:42Speaker 2: in poverty since there has been any data on this
- 2:45Speaker 2: in the United States of America. In my entire lifetime,
- 2:48Speaker 2: in your entire lifetime, any age group that's listening or
- 2:51Speaker 2: watching this show on YouTube, this is the best it's
- 2:55Speaker 2: ever been. How is that not breaking news? Front page
- 3:00Speaker 2: of every newspaper. And as you described a moment ago,
- 3:03Speaker 2: it's like it didn't even happen.
- 3:05Speaker 3: Well, if Barack Obama was president, it would be front
- 3:07Speaker 3: page news. If Joe Biden were president, it would be
- 3:09Speaker 3: front page news. It's not front page news because Donald
- 3:13Speaker 3: Trump is president and we have a Republican House and Senate,
- 3:15Speaker 3: and the media doesn't want it to be front page news.
- 3:18Speaker 3: But here, I want to read to you the Reuters
- 3:21Speaker 3: story reporting on the numbers that came out.
- 3:24Speaker 1: The U.S.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Poverty rate edged down to the lowest on record in 2025,
- 3:29Speaker 3: while median household income hit a record high, the Census
- 3:33Speaker 3: Bureau said on Tuesday. There were 34.5 million people in
- 3:37Speaker 3: poverty in 2025, the agency said. The decline marked the
- 3:41Speaker 3: second consecutive annual drop in the poverty rate and brought
- 3:46Speaker 3: it to its lowest level since the Bureau began tracking
- 3:51Speaker 3: the measure. It came as policymakers debate the impact of
- 3:56Speaker 3: federal spending cuts on safety net programs. The poverty rate,
- 3:59Speaker 3: the percentage of people living in poverty, dipped 0.5 percentage
- 4:04Speaker 3: points to 10.2% last year, the Bureau said. The supplemental
- 4:09Speaker 3: measure of poverty, which takes into account non-cash government benefits
- 4:13Speaker 3: and taxes, was at 13.1%. And the median household income
- 4:16Speaker 3: increased 2.6% to $ 87, 460. In 2025, a family with two
- 4:29Speaker 3: adults and two children was classified as in poverty if
- 4:34Speaker 3: their annual income was less than $ 32, 649, the Bureau said.
- 4:40Speaker 3: The official poverty rate for children fell to an historic
- 4:44Speaker 3: low of 13.4% in 2025. So not only is the
- 4:49Speaker 3: poverty rate at an historic low, but the poverty rate
- 4:52Speaker 3: for children is at an historic low. Most people in
- 4:57Speaker 3: the United States had health insurance for some or all
- 5:01Speaker 3: of 2025, the Bureau said. But 26.7 million people, or 7.9%
- 5:08Speaker 3: of the population, did not have health coverage at any time.
- 5:12Speaker 3: This was not a significant change from the previous year,
- 5:15Speaker 3: the Bureau said, and the uninsured rate remains near historic lows. Now,
- 5:23Speaker 3: I want you to ask yourself something. Why are you
- 5:26Speaker 3: not hearing that on the news?
- 5:28Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 5:29Speaker 1: It's deliberate. It's deliberate. It is.
- 5:31Speaker 2: I mean, I don't think we can overstate how deliberate
- 5:36Speaker 2: this is because I was watching the news today and
- 5:39Speaker 2: I was getting ready to go on TV tonight right
- 5:41Speaker 2: before we were recording this. And everybody was talking about, well,
- 5:44Speaker 2: gas prices, diesel prices, this is terrible, that's terrible. They
- 5:48Speaker 2: were not talking about this issue because they know that
- 5:52Speaker 2: if the American people are proud of this country, if
- 5:54Speaker 2: they're excited about where this country is going... If they realize,
- 5:58Speaker 2: and we connect part two of the story, that the
- 6:01Speaker 2: medium income is the highest it's also ever been in
- 6:03Speaker 2: our lifetime.
- 6:04Speaker 1: That is like every American is doing better. This is
- 6:07Speaker 1: great for us.
- 6:09Speaker 3: Well, here's what the White House put out on Twitter.
- 6:12Speaker 3: New Census Bureau data shows real household income reached its
- 6:15Speaker 3: highest level in history, $ 87, 460 in 2025, surpassing the previous record.
- 6:21Speaker 3: You know when the previous record was sent?
- 6:23Speaker 1: When was that?
- 6:24Speaker 3: In President Trump's first term. So the old record was
- 6:27Speaker 3: Trump won. The new record is the second term. After-tax
- 6:32Speaker 3: household incomes rose by 3.1% in 2025. The poverty rate
- 6:36Speaker 3: in the US fell to its lowest level in history,
- 6:39Speaker 3: falling back to the lowest level of the first Trump administration,
- 6:43Speaker 3: also in 2019. And the child poverty rate reached an
- 6:46Speaker 3: historic low in 2025. Now, what do you think happened
- 6:53Speaker 3: to after-tax household income during the first Trump administration?
- 7:01Speaker 1: What was that?
- 7:02Speaker 3: It rose an average of 3.9% a year.
- 7:05Speaker 4: Yep.
- 7:07Speaker 3: What do you think happened to after-tax household income under
- 7:12Speaker 3: Joe Biden?
- 7:13Speaker 1: What was that?
- 7:14Speaker 3: It dropped an average of 1.2% a year. So under
- 7:19Speaker 3: Trump 1, it's going up 3.9% a year. Under Biden,
- 7:23Speaker 3: it is not going up at all. It is going
- 7:25Speaker 3: up zero, and it is, in fact, going down 1.2%
- 7:29Speaker 3: a year. What do you think it's doing now in
- 7:31Speaker 3: Trump 2?
- 7:33Speaker 1: Give me the numbers.
- 7:35Speaker 3: Going up again 3.1%. So it's real simple. You are richer.
- 7:42Speaker 3: You have more money. Your family has more money. You
- 7:45Speaker 3: get paid more in your job. Your assets are worth more.
- 7:49Speaker 3: Your 401k is worth more. Your savings are worth more.
- 7:53Speaker 3: With Trump as president, with a Republican Senate, with a
- 7:56Speaker 3: Republican House, when the Democrats are in power, you make less,
- 8:01Speaker 3: your family makes less, your assets are worth less, the
- 8:04Speaker 3: stock market is worth less. And by the way, when
- 8:07Speaker 3: the socialists and communists are in power, which is where
- 8:10Speaker 3: the Democrats are going, you don't just make less. They
- 8:14Speaker 3: come and take what you have already.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Now, Senator, while we're doing this, we talk about, you know,
- 8:19Speaker 2: the headlines at CNN and CBS and NBC and ABC.
- 8:23Speaker 2: I just want you to know right now exactly what
- 8:26Speaker 2: is on the home page of CBS News. Their top
- 8:29Speaker 2: story is this. UN experts say U.S. may have committed
- 8:33Speaker 2: war crimes recently. with two Iran strikes. Their next story
- 8:37Speaker 2: next to that is Farmer, who voted for Trump, says
- 8:40Speaker 2: farmers are all just in survival mode. Below that, Iran
- 8:45Speaker 2: downed at least two American drones in recent days, officials say.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Below that, Trump ordered DOJ not to appeal ruling or
- 8:52Speaker 2: loosening gun limits, sources say. Nothing about the economy. You
- 8:56Speaker 2: go to ABC News, their top story. Drone reports briefly
- 9:00Speaker 2: paused flight.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Operations at D.C. airports.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Their other big story, most stressful winter as El Nino
- 9:06Speaker 2: fueled coastal erosion in SoCal, likely to get worse. And
- 9:10Speaker 2: their other story, body found in the Grand Canyon. So
- 9:13Speaker 2: nothing there. Go for the trifecta. You go over to
- 9:15Speaker 2: NBC News. Their top story, Josh Shapiro urges swift AI rules. Again,
- 9:21Speaker 2: doom and gloom with AI. Says relying on tech companies
- 9:24Speaker 2: is flat out wrong. Their other big story, Ohio mother
- 9:27Speaker 2: of 16 kids found living in squandered home pleads not
- 9:30Speaker 2: guilty to child endangerment. Those are their top two stories
- 9:34Speaker 2: on NBC News.
- 9:35Speaker 1: So it's proof. We're not just saying it, Senator.
- 9:38Speaker 2: They're doing everything they can to make sure that there
- 9:41Speaker 2: is no good news on either of these stories.
- 9:43Speaker 1: They'll just be silent on them completely.
- 9:46Speaker 3: By the way, CNN, what do you think their lead
- 9:48Speaker 3: story is? I just pulled it up, the lead story.
- 9:50Speaker 3: One place you won't find President Trump, starring in GOP ads.
- 9:54Speaker 3: Then the next story, Trump scene with Kennedy Center demolished poster.
- 9:58Speaker 3: Judge orders 30-day notice before... Any Major Changes. The next story,
- 10:03Speaker 3: Kevin Warsh Justified Donald Trump, Now What? The next story,
- 10:07Speaker 3: Princess Diana's Brother Claims Charles Sounded Giddily Elated the Night
- 10:12Speaker 3: of Her Death. It is not even on, as I'm
- 10:17Speaker 3: scrolling through, I don't even see it on CNN's website.
- 10:22Speaker 3: It's not news.
- 10:25Speaker 1: By the way, CBS News, they have different tabs, right?
- 10:28Speaker 2: So they have U.S., Iran war, truck safety, midterms, world politics.
- 10:32Speaker 3: By the way, here's some more. Everyone hates data centers.
- 10:34Speaker 3: Lawyers love them. The world's busiest, deadliest sea route keeps
- 10:38Speaker 3: getting busier with some kidnapped and forced onto boats. Fed
- 10:41Speaker 3: up Pennsylvania Democrats plot to run for Fetterman's seat in 2028. Yeah,
- 10:48Speaker 3: I got a word about a word.
- 10:50Speaker 2: By the way, CBS News, they've got these tabs center.
- 10:53Speaker 2: They have a money watch tab like surely that's economic
- 10:56Speaker 2: news will be there. Their top story right now, what
- 10:59Speaker 2: the Fed rate hike reveals about worse Trump and inflation.
- 11:04Speaker 2: Then one in three Americans with health insurance have medical debt,
- 11:07Speaker 2: survey says. And then OpenAI reveals six more incidents of
- 11:10Speaker 2: unexpected or concerning AI behavior reported. Those are their stories
- 11:15Speaker 2: on the money watch just tabbed. And then their big
- 11:20Speaker 2: story is no relief in sight for U.S. drivers as
- 11:23Speaker 2: gas and diesel prices surge.
- 11:26Speaker 1: There it is. Not even on their money page.
- 11:29Speaker 3: It is sadly their partisan agenda is not hard to
- 11:33Speaker 3: figure out. They want you to think everything about the
- 11:37Speaker 3: economy is horrible. And objectively, the highest median family income
- 11:44Speaker 3: in recorded history is not horrible. That is an inconvenient fact.
- 11:49Speaker 3: Also objectively, the lowest poverty rate ever recorded in American history,
- 11:56Speaker 3: even if you're a crazy left-wing partisan, it's hard to
- 11:59Speaker 3: spin that as bad news. And not only that, the
- 12:04Speaker 3: lowest child poverty rate in recorded history. There's no way,
- 12:11Speaker 3: if you're some lefty on TV, what do you say
- 12:14Speaker 3: about that? Other than I hate Trump, which is their
- 12:17Speaker 3: entire message. Trump bad, and they want to convince you, look,
- 12:22Speaker 3: if you're looking at your 401k and the stock market
- 12:24Speaker 3: keeps going up and up and up, like that's your
- 12:27Speaker 3: savings for retirement, and they want to convince you, you
- 12:30Speaker 3: should be really unhappy about that.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Yeah, you should be.
- 12:33Speaker 2: Let's talk strategy for just a second, because I keep
- 12:36Speaker 2: getting asked this question and look, it goes, it's the
- 12:39Speaker 2: economy stupid. I think a new way of putting it
- 12:41Speaker 2: in 2026.
- 12:42Speaker 3: By the way, do you know what the number one
- 12:43Speaker 3: driver is of your stock market at record highs?
- 12:47Speaker 1: What is that?
- 12:48Speaker 3: And your 401k at record highs? data center construction in
- 12:51Speaker 3: the U.S., and the Democrats and the radical left are
- 12:53Speaker 3: doing everything they can. They want to halt all data
- 12:57Speaker 3: center construction in America. Bernie Sanders has introduced legislation to
- 13:01Speaker 3: do that. You know who else wants to do that?
- 13:04Speaker 3: The Chinese communists want to halt all data center construction
- 13:08Speaker 3: in America. That is the major driver of job growth
- 13:11Speaker 3: across the country. And by the way, Not just blue-collar jobs,
- 13:15Speaker 3: construction jobs, construction workers, electricians, but also white-collar jobs are
- 13:19Speaker 3: being driven by that. But it is also driving the
- 13:23Speaker 3: stock market gains that are, if you're a teacher and
- 13:26Speaker 3: your pension fund is invested in the stock market, your
- 13:30Speaker 3: pension fund is going up, your 401k is going up,
- 13:33Speaker 3: and the left is literally trying to strangle the economic
- 13:37Speaker 3: growth that is happening. And you know what they'll do
- 13:39Speaker 3: if they succeed, right? in halting all data center construction
- 13:43Speaker 3: in America, they'll then blame the economic devastation that they
- 13:47Speaker 3: know will result from that. They'll say it's all Trump's fault.
- 13:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:51Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 13:51Speaker 1: This, this, I mean, this is the game plan.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Now I go back to just how dishonest they are
- 13:57Speaker 2: on this. And it reminds me strategy wise, we've got
- 14:00Speaker 2: to do a better job. And when we give you
- 14:01Speaker 2: this information, everybody that's listening or watching, like, please share
- 14:04Speaker 2: this with your friends.
- 14:05Speaker 1: They're not going to hear about it anywhere.
- 14:06Speaker 3: We just, your friends don't know. I promise your friends
- 14:09Speaker 3: don't know. Think of your 10 closest friends, ideally people
- 14:14Speaker 3: who are going to be voters on election day or
- 14:16Speaker 3: people who should be voters, and ask them, hey, how
- 14:20Speaker 3: do you think median income today compares to historically? How
- 14:25Speaker 3: do you think poverty rate compares? And I promise you,
- 14:28Speaker 3: if they're liberals, they'll say, oh, median income is way
- 14:30Speaker 3: down and poverty rate has gone through the roof because
- 14:33Speaker 3: Trump is terrible. Even if they're not liberals, if they're
- 14:35Speaker 3: just apolitical. If they're just someone who kind of lives
- 14:39Speaker 3: and occasionally watches the news, I'm willing to bet if
- 14:42Speaker 3: you ask them, they're going to say median income is
- 14:44Speaker 3: way down and poverty is way up because that's what
- 14:48Speaker 3: the dishonest corporate media is trying to convince them every
- 14:51Speaker 3: single day because they have a political objective and that
- 14:54Speaker 3: objective is furthered by lying to the voters. So let's
- 14:58Speaker 3: use this podcast to counteract the lies with the truth.
- 15:04Speaker 2: All right, Senator, let's get into another big issue, and
- 15:06Speaker 2: that is James Tallarico. I guess he's being called a
- 15:10Speaker 2: liar by his lesbian pastor who says he's lying to
- 15:14Speaker 2: you about what his true political beliefs are. So if
- 15:18Speaker 2: you're being called out by your lesbian pastor that you're
- 15:21Speaker 2: lying to everybody, but doing it, I guess, in a
- 15:23Speaker 2: weird complimentary way, I don't know.
- 15:25Speaker 1: This is like as confusing as him.
- 15:27Speaker 2: By the way, a side note, I feel like, to
- 15:30Speaker 2: be fair and balanced here, I need to ask you
- 15:33Speaker 2: the same James Tallarico question. Who is your favorite Texas
- 15:36Speaker 2: drag queen?
- 15:39Speaker 3: I feel quite confident. I don't have one.
- 15:41Speaker 1: No, no, no, wait, wait, wait.
- 15:43Speaker 3: That's not accurate. That's not accurate.
- 15:45Speaker 1: You took 10 seconds too long to answer that question.
- 15:47Speaker 1: It's supposed to be instant. Like, what's your birthday? Where
- 15:50Speaker 1: do you go to church?
- 15:51Speaker 3: My favorite drag queen in Texas is a beautiful young
- 15:56Speaker 3: lady named Benjamina Ferguson. Oh, yeah.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Here we go.
- 16:06Speaker 3: Look, the two most radical, the two most dangerous Senate
- 16:10Speaker 3: candidates in America are James Tallarico and Abdul El-Sayed in
- 16:15Speaker 3: Texas and Michigan. There are a lot of extreme and
- 16:19Speaker 3: radical candidates running as Democrats across the country, but Tallarico
- 16:22Speaker 3: and El-Sayed are the two worst in the country. Every week,
- 16:26Speaker 3: more facts come out about how radical and extreme they are.
- 16:29Speaker 3: This week, the facts came out that Tallarico's own pastor
- 16:34Speaker 3: accused him of being a liar. Now, she didn't mean to.
- 16:38Speaker 3: She was caught on tape.
- 16:40Speaker 1: This was an accident. Yeah, this wasn't a sermon.
- 16:43Speaker 3: So I'll read from the Daily Wire. Exclusive. Tallarico's lesbian
- 16:47Speaker 3: minister caught on camera saying his political makeover is a lie. Quote,
- 16:51Speaker 3: I can guarantee you that once he gets elected, he'll
- 16:54Speaker 3: change his tune back to where he was. A lesbian
- 16:58Speaker 3: minister at James Tallarico's longtime Austin church believes the Democrat
- 17:01Speaker 3: is playing a political game in an attempt to flip
- 17:03Speaker 3: Texas blue as he races to recast his record on
- 17:07Speaker 3: transgender issues at his declaration that God is non-binary, according
- 17:11Speaker 3: to undercover footage obtained by the Daily Wire. Reverend Babs Miller,
- 17:17Speaker 3: minister to the parish at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, was
- 17:21Speaker 3: caught making stunning admissions about Tallarico's political makeover as he
- 17:25Speaker 3: seeks to win over conservative-minded Texas moderates. The newfound shifts
- 17:30Speaker 3: include striking new positions, including support for a national ban
- 17:34Speaker 3: on gender transition surgeries for minors, and opposition to transgender
- 17:38Speaker 3: athletes competing in girls' sports, when he believes it, quote,
- 17:42Speaker 3: threatens safety or fairness. When an undercover journalist told Miller
- 17:47Speaker 3: that Republicans were attacking Tallarico over his, quote, God is
- 17:51Speaker 3: non-binary comment, she responded, duh, agreeing with the theological assertion
- 17:57Speaker 3: before shedding light on his internal political strategy. Quote, he's
- 18:02Speaker 3: getting some advice that I don't think he should be following,
- 18:05Speaker 3: Miller said. Miller then suggested that Tallarico would reverse to
- 18:09Speaker 3: his embrace of the LGBT movement's most extreme elements, if
- 18:13Speaker 3: he wins the race against Texas Republican Attorney General Ken Paxton. Quote,
- 18:18Speaker 3: I can guarantee you that once he gets elected, he'll
- 18:20Speaker 3: change his tune back to where he was, she said.
- 18:23Speaker 3: When the undercover journalist suggested Tallarico had to, quote, play
- 18:27Speaker 3: this game, Miller shook her head and agreed. Quote, that's
- 18:32Speaker 3: what his campaign has convinced him of. Miller said the
- 18:35Speaker 3: Democratic Party is backing off of their stance on trans
- 18:38Speaker 3: and all this. So his staff is encouraging him to
- 18:41Speaker 3: do kind of the same thing just for the next
- 18:44Speaker 3: 50 weeks, whatever days. Quote, I think it's bad advice personally,
- 18:49Speaker 3: but if it helps him win, OK. By the way,
- 18:51Speaker 3: this is a pastor saying he's lying. But if it
- 18:55Speaker 3: helps him win, okay. I don't recall thou shalt not
- 19:00Speaker 3: lie unless the lying helps you win and deceive the voters,
- 19:04Speaker 3: and then you can force your radical left-wing agenda on
- 19:08Speaker 3: the voters. But according to this pastor, and okay, by
- 19:11Speaker 3: the way.
- 19:11Speaker 1: By the way, let's be clear, though. This is not
- 19:13Speaker 1: that crazy.
- 19:14Speaker 2: If you believe that God's non-binary and there's six genders,
- 19:18Speaker 2: then there's probably 17 different versions of the truth, right?
- 19:21Speaker 2: This is the version of the truth for today, and
- 19:24Speaker 2: then tomorrow there could be new truth.
- 19:26Speaker 3: You're wrong on that. Tallarico does not believe there are
- 19:30Speaker 3: 17 versions of the truth. There is one truth, the
- 19:32Speaker 3: woke truth, the radical woke truth. This is the guy
- 19:35Speaker 3: who says, I love trans children. This is the guy
- 19:38Speaker 3: who says there are six genders. This is the guy
- 19:40Speaker 3: who says God is non-binary. He is a zealot.
- 19:43Speaker 2: Don't forget the favorite drag queen. Don't forget how fast
- 19:45Speaker 2: he can answer that question, too.
- 19:47Speaker 1: Let's throw that in there.
- 19:48Speaker 3: He is a zealot, and so it's not that he
- 19:51Speaker 3: believes what he's saying today is the truth. He doesn't
- 19:54Speaker 3: believe that at all. He knows he's lying. His pastor
- 19:56Speaker 3: knows he's lying.
- 19:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:59Speaker 3: He's willing to lie because the truth of his radical
- 20:03Speaker 3: vision is so compelling, his whole life is devoted to it.
- 20:05Speaker 3: All right, by the way, I don't want our listeners
- 20:08Speaker 3: just to take my word for it that this is
- 20:11Speaker 3: what his pastor said. I want you to listen right
- 20:14Speaker 3: now to his pastor, the Reverend Babs Miller, caught on
- 20:20Speaker 3: undercover camera. Give a listen.
- 20:22Speaker 5: Trump people are attacking Tallarica for saying that God is non-binary.
- 20:27Speaker 5: That's literally what he is. He went on Fox News
- 20:33Speaker 5: and walked that back. Did you see that?
- 20:37Speaker 6: Yeah, he's giving some advice that I don't think he
- 20:43Speaker 6: should be following.
- 20:44Speaker 5: Yeah, because that's why, frankly, something that attracted me to
- 20:49Speaker 5: this church was like.
- 20:51Speaker 6: And I can guarantee you that once he gets elected,
- 20:55Speaker 6: he'll change his tune back.
- 20:56Speaker 5: To where he was. Okay, but he has to kind
- 20:58Speaker 5: of play this game.
- 20:59Speaker 6: Yes, that's what his campaign has convinced him of, is
- 21:03Speaker 6: that the Democratic Party is backing off. on their stances
- 21:07Speaker 6: on trans and all of this. And so his staff
- 21:13Speaker 6: is encouraging him to kind of do the same thing
- 21:17Speaker 6: just for the next 50 weeks or whatever days or
- 21:22Speaker 6: whatever days, I guess. I think it's bad advice personally,
- 21:27Speaker 6: but if it helps him win, okay.
- 21:33Speaker 2: If it helps him win, okay. Now, she said 50 weeks.
- 21:36Speaker 2: She then corrected herself and said 50 days, Senator, meaning.
- 21:39Speaker 3: This just happened. He'll flip the day after Election Day.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah. Trust me. Believe me.
- 21:44Speaker 2: I know he's going to go back to what he
- 21:46Speaker 2: was saying. I think he's getting bad advice, but he's
- 21:48Speaker 2: just got to lie to you so that people can
- 21:50Speaker 2: get elected because, you know, he's been saying all these things.
- 21:52Speaker 3: By the way, is there a better summation of anti-Christianity,
- 22:01Speaker 3: of really— that, frankly, the ethos of Satan, then if
- 22:08Speaker 3: it helps him win, okay. Yeah. Like, that's simply, that
- 22:13Speaker 3: at the end of the day, and by the way,
- 22:14Speaker 3: when I say the ethos of Satan, I'm not engaged
- 22:17Speaker 3: in hyperbole, like Lucifer. was an angel, and he looked
- 22:22Speaker 3: upon God and wanted to be God. And if it
- 22:24Speaker 3: helps him win, okay, follow your own, whatever you want
- 22:27Speaker 3: to do, whatever your impulse is, whatever your desire is,
- 22:30Speaker 3: give in to that desire. There is no sin, there
- 22:33Speaker 3: is no wrong, there is no right, there is no truth.
- 22:38Speaker 3: It is only if it helps him win, okay. If
- 22:42Speaker 3: it feels good, do it. If someone else is hurt,
- 22:44Speaker 3: it doesn't matter. If children are hurt, that's okay. If
- 22:50Speaker 3: it helps them win, okay. That is the very essence
- 22:55Speaker 3: of the opposite of Christianity.
- 22:58Speaker 2: Let me ask you a question on the Tallarico campaign
- 23:00Speaker 2: in general. You've obviously run for election in Texas several times.
- 23:04Speaker 2: So many people from outside Texas are looking at this
- 23:07Speaker 2: race and wondering how it could be quote-unquote so close,
- 23:10Speaker 2: knowing what you're.
- 23:11Speaker 1: Saying right now.
- 23:12Speaker 2: And I heard an interesting theory from a reporter that
- 23:15Speaker 2: asked me about it, and they said, well, It seems
- 23:18Speaker 2: that Texas is more focused on gas prices and economic
- 23:22Speaker 2: issues than social issues, and they don't seem to be
- 23:25Speaker 2: that bothered by Tallarico. Do you agree with that or
- 23:28Speaker 2: disagree in 2026? I personally disagree with that. I do
- 23:31Speaker 2: think that Texans care about these issues. I do think
- 23:36Speaker 2: they're going to care when they hear, for example, that
- 23:38Speaker 2: his pastor's like, oh, don't worry, he's lying to you,
- 23:41Speaker 2: and he'll change back the day after the election after
- 23:43Speaker 2: he wins. I think these things of being able to
- 23:46Speaker 2: instantly name your favorite drag queen in Texas, that is
- 23:50Speaker 2: not in the norm of Texas voters. And I reject
- 23:53Speaker 2: this idea that, oh, no, it's got to be just
- 23:55Speaker 2: about these other issues like the economy.
- 23:58Speaker 3: Look, there is a basic dynamic that has played out
- 24:01Speaker 3: in American politics for a long time, which is conservatives
- 24:05Speaker 3: win when we effectively articulate what it is we believe.
- 24:09Speaker 3: And there's a reason for that. This country is fundamentally
- 24:12Speaker 3: a center-right country. Most Americans, certainly most Texans, agree with
- 24:16Speaker 3: center-right common sense ideas and values. They work. They make sense.
- 24:22Speaker 3: The inverse is equally true, which is liberals win when
- 24:26Speaker 3: they effectively obfuscate what they believe, when they lie, when
- 24:30Speaker 3: they cover it up. Why? Because the country is fundamentally
- 24:33Speaker 3: a center-right country. And the crazy left-wing views of the
- 24:38Speaker 3: radical left are not where the voters are. And so
- 24:41Speaker 3: what Tallarico is doing, that is what left-wing candidates always do.
- 24:45Speaker 3: They lie, they deceive you. You know, earlier today, I
- 24:48Speaker 3: did something I do every year, which is a group
- 24:50Speaker 3: of cadets from West Point will come down to Washington,
- 24:53Speaker 3: and I'll sit down with like 20, 30 cadets and
- 24:55Speaker 3: spend about an hour talking to them and answering their questions.
- 24:58Speaker 3: And one question I got today was what lessons, what
- 25:02Speaker 3: advice would you give? And I said, you know, the
- 25:04Speaker 3: advice I give newly elected members of Congress is do
- 25:09Speaker 3: what you said you would do. Whatever you said in
- 25:12Speaker 3: September and October, you told the voters you were going
- 25:14Speaker 3: to do, do that in January or February. Now, that
- 25:18Speaker 3: sounds radical. But it is simple truth. Tell the truth
- 25:23Speaker 3: on the front end and then do what you said
- 25:25Speaker 3: on the back end. And principled conservatives, that's what they do.
- 25:29Speaker 3: And radical leftists, that's the opposite of what they do.
- 25:34Speaker 2: Senator, I want to get into another big story, and
- 25:36Speaker 2: that deals with the other radical candidate you were talking
- 25:39Speaker 2: about and warning about earlier in the show. And that
- 25:42Speaker 2: is El-Said. And there is some news that's been broken
- 25:45Speaker 2: by the Free Beacon about some deletion of some videos from,
- 25:50Speaker 2: you know, just some of those around him.
- 25:53Speaker 3: Well, not just some of those around him. His pastor
- 25:55Speaker 3: is his imam in this case. And there's an interesting parallel.
- 25:59Speaker 3: Both Tallarico and El-Said are trying to lie to the voters.
- 26:03Speaker 3: they're both trying to cover up what they actually believe
- 26:05Speaker 3: because the voters are horrified by what they actually believe,
- 26:09Speaker 3: by what they're committed to, and in both instances, their
- 26:12Speaker 3: religious leaders, their pastors, are inadvertently revealing that they are
- 26:18Speaker 3: lying to you. And so, all right, let's give the
- 26:22Speaker 3: facts on Al-Said. I'm going to read from the Washington
- 26:24Speaker 3: Free Beacon. Abdul Al-Said's imam scrubs videos of sermons lauding
- 26:30Speaker 3: Hamas leader urging congregants to vote for El-Said. Abdelhamid Al-Ghiziawa
- 26:39Speaker 3: of the Muslim Community Association of Ann Arbor called Ismail
- 26:44Speaker 3: Haniyeh a, quote, heroic martyr and a, quote, symbol of jihad.
- 26:50Speaker 3: Left-wing Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Said's email scrubbed videos of
- 26:55Speaker 3: his sermons from YouTube. including one in which he gave a, quote,
- 27:00Speaker 3: absentee funeral prayer, hailing the late Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh
- 27:06Speaker 3: as a, quote, heroic martyr, and another in which he
- 27:10Speaker 3: urged his congregants to vote for al-Said. The Muslim Community
- 27:14Speaker 3: Association of Ann Arbor's YouTube channel featured dozens of recordings
- 27:19Speaker 3: of Imam Abdelhamid al-Ghizawa's sermons as recently as Tuesday, but
- 27:26Speaker 3: now shows only the message, quote, this channel doesn't have
- 27:31Speaker 3: any content. A video of Al-Ghazawa's August 2nd, 2024 sermon,
- 27:37Speaker 3: by the way, this wasn't a long time ago, this
- 27:39Speaker 3: was two years ago, eulogizing Haniyeh, which was also accessible
- 27:45Speaker 3: on Tuesday, is now, quote, unavailable and set to primate.
- 27:48Speaker 1: I wonder why.
- 27:50Speaker 3: So is a sermon al-Ghazawa delivered in the wake of
- 27:53Speaker 3: al-Said's primary victory, in which the imam described his victory as, quote,
- 27:58Speaker 3: a very big victory for Muslims and for the Islamic nation.
- 28:05Speaker 3: Listen to those words again. His imam said al-Said's Democrat
- 28:09Speaker 3: primary victory was a very big victory, quote, for the
- 28:15Speaker 3: Islamic nation. What nation do you think he's talking about?
- 28:19Speaker 3: He's talking about this country. He's talking about this country
- 28:22Speaker 3: as an Islamic nation under forced Sharia law. That's what
- 28:26Speaker 3: he believes. It's what El-Sayed believes. It's why El-Sayed says
- 28:30Speaker 3: he has a, quote, obligation to follow Sharia law. And
- 28:38Speaker 3: by the way, The imam agrees on the obligation. Let
- 28:41Speaker 3: me continue reading. The removal comes in the wake of
- 28:43Speaker 3: a series of Washington Free Beacon reports on Al-Ghazawa and
- 28:46Speaker 3: the MCA of Ann Arbor, where Al-Said typically prays, according
- 28:50Speaker 3: to a source familiar with the situation. There, Al-Ghazawa spoke
- 28:54Speaker 3: about Al-Said personally, telling his congregants that the Muslim community
- 28:59Speaker 3: had a, quote, obligation to vote for Al-Said in November.
- 29:04Speaker 5: Why?
- 29:05Speaker 3: To, quote, change the society. He also eulogized Hadiyeh in
- 29:11Speaker 3: a sermon delivered two days after the late terrorist leader
- 29:14Speaker 3: died from an explosive device smuggled into his guest house
- 29:18Speaker 3: in Tehran. Here's what he said, quote, he is a
- 29:22Speaker 3: symbol of jihad, a symbol of struggle, a symbol of patriotism,
- 29:27Speaker 3: and a symbol of devotion. No one loves him except
- 29:31Speaker 3: someone who loves God and his messenger. In other words,
- 29:34Speaker 3: if you love God, you love the head of Hamas,
- 29:38Speaker 3: who carried out the October's 7th rape and murder of
- 29:44Speaker 3: over 1,200 innocent civilians, rape of little girls and women.
- 29:49Speaker 3: And by the way, according to this imam, if you
- 29:52Speaker 3: love God, you love him. Quote, he is a righteous
- 29:56Speaker 3: man and one of the righteous. He wanted to liberate Palestine,
- 30:02Speaker 3: his land and his homeland. He sought nothing more than
- 30:06Speaker 3: that except for murdering innocent civilians and raping women and girls,
- 30:09Speaker 3: but nothing more than that other than that. Yet despite this,
- 30:14Speaker 3: the unjust and wicked killed him. We ask Almighty God
- 30:20Speaker 3: to grant him a place in paradise, O God, place
- 30:24Speaker 3: him among the martyrs and the righteous. you know, there's
- 30:29Speaker 3: no ambiguity there. You know exactly what El-Sayed's pastor believes,
- 30:34Speaker 3: and by the way, I believe that's what El-Sayed believes
- 30:36Speaker 3: as well. But okay, you may say, all right, maybe
- 30:40Speaker 3: the place he worships the pastor is just a complete
- 30:43Speaker 3: whack job, but maybe, maybe El-Sayed is not. Well, we
- 30:47Speaker 3: also know that El-Sayed campaigned repeatedly alongside Hassan Piker. Hassan Piker,
- 30:55Speaker 3: the radical, America-hating, racist, person who hates African-Americans, who hates Christians,
- 31:03Speaker 3: who hates America, who said, quote, America deserves 9-11.
- 31:10Speaker 1: Well, by the way, we put a montage.
- 31:12Speaker 2: We can't play it here because there's too many F-bombs
- 31:14Speaker 2: in it and you don't hear anything. But there's now
- 31:16Speaker 2: a montage online going around of Hassan Piker, how many
- 31:19Speaker 2: different times he says on his podcast, whatever you want
- 31:22Speaker 2: to call it, his live stream, that he blanking hates America.
- 31:26Speaker 2: And it's like years of him saying, God, I hate
- 31:28Speaker 2: this country. God, I hate America. I hate America. That's
- 31:32Speaker 2: what the guy really believes. And that's who the Democrats'
- 31:34Speaker 2: number one surrogate is.
- 31:36Speaker 3: And by the way, this is a clip from just
- 31:38Speaker 3: recently where he said America is worse than Al Qaeda. Here,
- 31:41Speaker 3: give a listen. He said that America is the top
- 31:44Speaker 3: dog in terrorism.
- 31:45Speaker 5: Yes.
- 31:46Speaker 3: Do you think America then is worse than Al Qaeda?
- 31:50Speaker 7: Pound for pound, as far as the number of deaths, yes,
- 31:53Speaker 7: we've caused tremendous terror all around the world. I think
- 31:58Speaker 7: that that is not only terror that we are waging
- 32:02Speaker 7: on regular civilians in nations in the periphery, but it's
- 32:06Speaker 7: also having consequences on ourselves. It's having dramatic consequences on
- 32:11Speaker 7: the home front.
- 32:12Speaker 3: Pound for pound, he says, America is worse than al-Qaeda.
- 32:15Speaker 3: By the way, this is just days after the 25th
- 32:17Speaker 3: anniversary of 9-11, where al-Qaeda murdered nearly 3,000 Americans. He
- 32:22Speaker 3: also very much wants the Ayatollah in Iran... to have
- 32:25Speaker 3: a nuclear weapon. Here, give a listen.
- 32:26Speaker 7: Do you think the Middle East would be more stable
- 32:28Speaker 7: if Iran had a nuclear weapon? I believe yes. I
- 32:31Speaker 7: think that the Middle East would be more stable. Having
- 32:33Speaker 7: said that, once again, I'm not advocating. I'm not trying
- 32:36Speaker 7: to send Iran enriched nuclear uranium.
- 32:39Speaker 3: Oh, but he sure wants them to have it. He
- 32:41Speaker 3: sure wants them to have it. And look, these comments
- 32:43Speaker 3: are so extreme that even CNN, Dana Bash, couldn't take
- 32:47Speaker 3: it anymore. Listen to what she said about it. Yeah.
- 32:50Speaker 2: And for context, the clip we just played for you
- 32:52Speaker 2: guys of Assam Piker, this is what CNN had just
- 32:56Speaker 2: played on the air. And I want you to listen
- 32:57Speaker 2: to Dana Bash and how she responds.
- 32:59Speaker 4: El-Sayed's campaign did put out a statement saying that he
- 33:02Speaker 4: doesn't agree with his sentiment on al-Qaeda, probably because he's
- 33:05Speaker 4: running in a democracy to be part of a democratically
- 33:09Speaker 4: elected government other than as opposed to al-Qaeda, which is
- 33:12Speaker 4: an actual terrorist organization.
- 33:15Speaker 1: Senator, I got to say, I couldn't agree with Dana
- 33:17Speaker 1: more on that assessment.
- 33:18Speaker 3: Look, you know, in CNN's own words, he is running
- 33:22Speaker 3: to be democratically elected in actual democracy as opposed to
- 33:26Speaker 3: a terrorist organization like al-Qaeda. And yet, al-Said embraces this
- 33:32Speaker 3: radical imam who calls the head of Hamas a heroic martyr,
- 33:37Speaker 3: and he embraces Hassan Piker, who thinks that America is
- 33:41Speaker 3: worse than al-Qaeda. There is a basic principle in life.
- 33:45Speaker 3: When they tell you who they are, Believe them.
- 33:49Speaker 2: Don't forget, we do this show three days a week
- 33:51Speaker 2: as a podcast. So download Vertical Tech Careers wherever you
- 33:54Speaker 2: get your podcasts. And we'll see you back here on
- 33:57Speaker 2: this radio station as well next week and also on
- 34:00Speaker 2: YouTube as well.
- 34:01Speaker 1: Have a great week.
