- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:03Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. Over the past twenty four hours, the House
- 0:08Speaker 1: Oversight Committee has released the transcript from their interview with
- 0:11Speaker 1: Bill Gates and with Leslie Groff, and now that we
- 0:14Speaker 1: have access to both of those transcripts, we'll get those
- 0:17Speaker 1: added to the catalog as well. And my plan is
- 0:20Speaker 1: to dive into the Bill Gates transcript as soon as
- 0:23Speaker 1: we're done with Tovin O weel and we're pretty close
- 0:25Speaker 1: to wrapping that one up. We don't have much further
- 0:28Speaker 1: to go as far as that interview, so as soon
- 0:31Speaker 1: as that one's done, we'll get started on the Bill
- 0:34Speaker 1: Gates transcript and then after that we'll dive right into
- 0:38Speaker 1: Leslie Groff. But before we dive into those transcripts, we
- 0:42Speaker 1: have an article from CNN and the headline Gates says
- 0:46Speaker 1: he didn't witness crimes, but may have been in the
- 0:48Speaker 1: presence of Epstein victims. This article was authored by Annie
- 0:53Speaker 1: Grayer and Olina Fayes. Billionaire Bill Gates testify that he
- 0:59Speaker 1: never interacts did with victims of Jeffrey Epstein, but acknowledge
- 1:03Speaker 1: that he may have been in their presence. According to
- 1:05Speaker 1: a transcript of his closed door interview with the House
- 1:08Speaker 1: Oversight Committee, released on Tuesday. Well, there's no doubt. If
- 1:13Speaker 1: you're going to consider Sarah Kellen a victim, and you're
- 1:17Speaker 1: going to consider Nadia Marsenkova a victim, then there's no
- 1:20Speaker 1: doubt that Bill Gates was in their presence and around them.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Of course, that doesn't mean that Bill Gates was partaking
- 1:27Speaker 1: in the abuse, but it does mean that Bill Gates
- 1:32Speaker 1: knew a lot more than he let on, and who
- 1:34Speaker 1: knows what kind of information he had that could have
- 1:37Speaker 1: been helpful to an investigation. You don't come forward the
- 1:40Speaker 1: second a guy like that gets arrested, even if you
- 1:44Speaker 1: make pretend you didn't know previously. He gets arrested in
- 1:47Speaker 1: twenty nineteen, and you don't have your legal team reach
- 1:50Speaker 1: out right away to the FBI and say, look, I
- 1:52Speaker 1: had a relationship with him, but I didn't see anything crazy.
- 1:57Speaker 1: I'd love to come in and talk to you guys
- 1:58Speaker 1: and see if there's anything I need know that might
- 2:01Speaker 1: help out. I mean, that would be the decent thing
- 2:03Speaker 1: to do, right and I'm sure most people out there
- 2:05Speaker 1: would do that. You find out, like you know, a
- 2:08Speaker 1: coworker or a friend is under investigation or has been
- 2:12Speaker 1: arrested for this kind of thing, and the first thing
- 2:16Speaker 1: I'm going to be thinking is what do I know?
- 2:19Speaker 1: Did I ever see anything crazy? Can I help the investigation?
- 2:24Speaker 1: But people like Bill Gates instead, he went the opposite direction, right,
- 2:28Speaker 1: lied about it, tried to downplay it, tried to whitewash it.
- 2:32Speaker 1: But this day and age, with how quickly everything moves,
- 2:35Speaker 1: social media and otherwise very difficult to do. You can
- 2:39Speaker 1: only hide things for so long, especially when you have
- 2:43Speaker 1: all of this attention on the topic. And it's one
- 2:45Speaker 1: of the main reasons that I have no remorse for
- 2:47Speaker 1: these people. This isn't something that you know, just showed
- 2:52Speaker 1: up and has become a problem for them. They've known
- 2:55Speaker 1: about their relationships with Epstein for all these years, and
- 3:00Speaker 1: the vast majority of these people lied about it. The
- 3:04Speaker 1: Microsoft co founder maintained in the voluntary interview which took
- 3:08Speaker 1: place on Capitol Hill earlier this month, that his three
- 3:12Speaker 1: year relationship with a convicted sex offender was strictly professional
- 3:16Speaker 1: and that he never witnessed or participated in any sexual misconduct.
- 3:21Speaker 1: And again, look, there's no evidence of that. Nobody's making
- 3:25Speaker 1: those allegations. The problem for Bill Gates is the fact
- 3:29Speaker 1: that he lied about that relationship. So of course that
- 3:32Speaker 1: makes people wonder what else are you lying about? And
- 3:36Speaker 1: just because we don't have evidence of it doesn't mean
- 3:39Speaker 1: something else didn't happen, Right, That's why we have to
- 3:42Speaker 1: have an investigation. And when you get caught up with
- 3:46Speaker 1: somebody like Jeffrey Epstein, don't come crying to me that
- 3:49Speaker 1: you're swept up in some vast investigation where they're looking
- 3:54Speaker 1: at your behavior and if you were engaging in any
- 3:57Speaker 1: kind of abuse. Fellow Travelers and all but Democratic Representative
- 4:03Speaker 1: Robert Garcia pointed that the panel's investigation has shown that
- 4:07Speaker 1: some of Epstein's employees were also abused by the late financier,
- 4:12Speaker 1: making it difficult for Gates to rule out that he
- 4:14Speaker 1: was never around any of Epstein's victims. Well, that's true,
- 4:18Speaker 1: and that goes for everybody. Now, the defense is going
- 4:22Speaker 1: to be they didn't know, they had no idea what
- 4:24Speaker 1: was going on. They thought they were just Jeffrey Epstein's assistants.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Because there's no talk, right, there's no scuttle, but nobody
- 4:33Speaker 1: has anything to say out of the side of their mouth.
- 4:37Speaker 1: That's a very good point, said Gates, who acknowledged he
- 4:40Speaker 1: saw some of Epstein's female employees at the end of
- 4:43Speaker 1: a meeting on one of Epstein's planes. He added, I
- 4:46Speaker 1: may have been in the presence of victims, not may
- 4:50Speaker 1: have been. You were, And even if you just think
- 4:52Speaker 1: that you were around people who were being trafficked, that's
- 4:56Speaker 1: something that you should be telling the authorities. All right, Look,
- 5:00Speaker 1: I didn't know then, but I know now, and this
- 5:03Speaker 1: is what I saw, this is when I saw it,
- 5:05Speaker 1: and this is where I saw it. But instead it
- 5:09Speaker 1: has to be this whole entire circus, right Congress, etc.
- 5:14Speaker 1: Bill Gates could have easily held a press conference years
- 5:18Speaker 1: ago and cleaned this all up, or at the very
- 5:22Speaker 1: least explained his relationship, but instead he justled and the
- 5:27Speaker 1: legacy media, well they ran with it. Oh. Bill Gates
- 5:31Speaker 1: is such a great guy. He's trying to cure malaria.
- 5:33Speaker 1: He would never do something like that. It's a vast
- 5:36Speaker 1: right wing conspiracy. Yeah, well guess what is it? Still
- 5:40Speaker 1: a vast right wing conspiracy. As part of the Oversight
- 5:44Speaker 1: Committee's ongoing probe, the Panels saught Gates testimony after the
- 5:48Speaker 1: release of additional Epstein files by the Justice Department this
- 5:51Speaker 1: year raised questions about his ties to the late convicted
- 5:55Speaker 1: sex offender. Well, if you would have just paid attention
- 5:58Speaker 1: years ago, when we all told you what was going
- 6:00Speaker 1: going on, maybe Epstein would have been held to account,
- 6:03Speaker 1: maybe the people that enabled them would have been called
- 6:05Speaker 1: out onto the carpet. But everybody was way too busy
- 6:09Speaker 1: when this story was breaking to actually give a damn.
- 6:14Speaker 1: And we're not going to engage in any revisionist history
- 6:17Speaker 1: here and give people credit for showing up late to
- 6:20Speaker 1: the party. I mean, where were all these people out
- 6:22Speaker 1: when Virginia was begging for people to listen to her.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Where were all these big gigantic media outlets when the
- 6:29Speaker 1: survivors were coming out telling their stories and being absolutely trashed.
- 6:33Speaker 1: The thing is, this wasn't profitable back then, so they
- 6:37Speaker 1: had no desire to report on it, and they also
- 6:40Speaker 1: didn't want to out their buddies. I mean, remember what
- 6:43Speaker 1: Nancy Pelosi's own daughter said that some of our faves
- 6:47Speaker 1: are going to be outed, And there's no doubt that
- 6:51Speaker 1: some of the faves have been outed. The panel also
- 6:55Speaker 1: Tuesday released the transcript of Epstein's longtime assistant Leslie Groff,
- 6:59Speaker 1: who characterized her former boss as a master and manipulator,
- 7:03Speaker 1: and said she did not know about his crimes. Groff
- 7:06Speaker 1: revealed that she connected Epstein and President Donald Trump, then
- 7:09Speaker 1: a private citizen, on the phone multiple times over a
- 7:12Speaker 1: period of ten years, but said she did not know
- 7:15Speaker 1: the content of those conversations. Trump has long denied any
- 7:20Speaker 1: wrongdoing related to Epstein, as well as any allegations of
- 7:24Speaker 1: sexual misconduct. Well, I'm sure he'll deny the phone calls too. Oh,
- 7:29Speaker 1: that didn't happen. He called my office. I didn't want
- 7:32Speaker 1: to talk to him. We were never friends. You know,
- 7:35Speaker 1: the same old song and dance we get all the time.
- 7:38Speaker 1: And then you'll have James Calmer coming out, drooling and
- 7:42Speaker 1: just going along with whatever the president says. CNN has
- 7:47Speaker 1: reached out to representatives for Gates and Graff for comment.
- 7:51Speaker 1: In his interview, Gates laid out how Epstein attempted to
- 7:53Speaker 1: use information about the Microsoft co founder's personal life, including
- 7:58Speaker 1: that he had been unfaithful in his marriage, to pressure him. Yeah, blackmail,
- 8:03Speaker 1: compromitt But I thought Cash Ptel said that didn't happen
- 8:08Speaker 1: and none of that existed. Could it be that Cash
- 8:11Speaker 1: Patel is lying? Could that possibly be the case. Now, look,
- 8:16Speaker 1: I'm not hip to the you know, ancient Scandinavian religion
- 8:20Speaker 1: of a sartu or whatever it's called. But do you
- 8:23Speaker 1: get to Valhalla if you're lying? I wonder how Odin
- 8:27Speaker 1: feels about people that protect diddlers. My guess is they're
- 8:32Speaker 1: going to have a date with Thores Hammer, That's my guess.
- 8:37Speaker 1: But having the audacity to get up there and try
- 8:39Speaker 1: and tell people that there was no blackmail, no compromont,
- 8:42Speaker 1: that none of that occurred, is just straight up lunacy.
- 8:49Speaker 1: After he cut ties with Epstein in twenty fourteen, Gates
- 8:52Speaker 1: were called one instance in which Epstein emailed asking for
- 8:55Speaker 1: reimbursement for expenses Epstein had paid for related to a
- 8:59Speaker 1: woman Gate had an affair with. Why would Epstein be
- 9:02Speaker 1: paying for those expenses? That seems like a good question
- 9:06Speaker 1: to ask. No, Bill Gates can't front the bill short
- 9:11Speaker 1: on dough. Uncle Funzelo is in town? Does he have
- 9:17Speaker 1: short arms and deep pockets? What's going on? Why is
- 9:23Speaker 1: it that Jeffrey Epstein's involved in any way when it
- 9:26Speaker 1: comes to Bill Gates's love life? These are very simple
- 9:30Speaker 1: questions and we have no answers for them. And this testimony.
- 9:36Speaker 1: I don't think it really provides the answers that we're
- 9:38Speaker 1: looking for. I communicated to my key person, top person
- 9:44Speaker 1: at Gates Ventures, Larry Cohen, that we were never going
- 9:47Speaker 1: to pay anything. Gates testified. Gates was introduced to Epstein
- 9:52Speaker 1: in twenty eleven through one of his most trusted employees,
- 9:55Speaker 1: doctor Boris Nikolic, whom Gates believes told Epstein about two
- 10:00Speaker 1: of the extra marital affairs behind closed doors. Investigators press
- 10:04Speaker 1: Gates about other potential affairs, arguing it was relevant to
- 10:08Speaker 1: determine whether Gates had any other ties to the convicted
- 10:12Speaker 1: sex offender, but Gates and his legal team pushed back, Yeah,
- 10:15Speaker 1: it's a voluntary interview. Refer to the last episode and
- 10:21Speaker 1: why the voluntary interviews and the whole process is a
- 10:24Speaker 1: bunch of bs. The tech billionaire pointed specifically to the
- 10:29Speaker 1: draft emails that Epstein appears to have written to himself
- 10:32Speaker 1: in twenty thirteen that include a series of graphic, unverified
- 10:36Speaker 1: allegations against Gates, and argued that Epstein would have mentioned
- 10:40Speaker 1: other affairs there, or maybe not, maybe he was holding
- 10:44Speaker 1: some back. You don't just launch your whole entire salvo
- 10:48Speaker 1: right away, right do the Gruccies fire off all the
- 10:51Speaker 1: fireworks at the beginning, or do that wait for the
- 10:55Speaker 1: end and then launch everything in a grand finale. I
- 10:59Speaker 1: think that Epstein, when he was writing emails to himself,
- 11:02Speaker 1: took every potential negative thing he knew, and some that
- 11:05Speaker 1: are completely false, and he put those into draft emails
- 11:08Speaker 1: to himself. Gates said. And so I think if in
- 11:11Speaker 1: some weird way he discovered anything negative to say about me,
- 11:15Speaker 1: he would have seen that in the emails that he
- 11:17Speaker 1: sent to himself. Yeah, I don't buy that. Nice excuse,
- 11:20Speaker 1: but I don't buy it. Okay, Sorry, Billy boy Gates.
- 11:26Speaker 1: In the stream of conscious notes riddled with typos and vitriol,
- 11:29Speaker 1: which Gates has stated or false, Epstein appears to claim
- 11:33Speaker 1: he facilitated sexual encounters four Gates and helped him obtain
- 11:37Speaker 1: medication to hide and his sexually transmitted infection from his wife. Look,
- 11:43Speaker 1: I don't know if that's true. Could it be for sure?
- 11:48Speaker 1: I mean Bill Gates has the ability to keep that hidden.
- 11:51Speaker 1: A few palms greased here, a few bags dropped off there,
- 11:55Speaker 1: and everything's all good. In his closed door interview, Gates
- 11:59Speaker 1: said that he never had an STD, but that it's possible.
- 12:02Speaker 1: He communicated to Nikolch that he was worried that he
- 12:05Speaker 1: might have had one. Oh boy, I bet who he
- 12:09Speaker 1: had one. He probably had the clap or something. I mean,
- 12:12Speaker 1: if you're out here and you're doing what he was
- 12:15Speaker 1: doing allegedly with all these affairs, is it that big
- 12:19Speaker 1: of Elipe? Upon meeting Epstein in twenty eleven, Gate said
- 12:24Speaker 1: he was aware of the financier had a criminal conviction
- 12:27Speaker 1: that was of a sexual nature, but still said he
- 12:30Speaker 1: was interested in pursuing a professional relationship with Epstein, who
- 12:34Speaker 1: claimed he could raise billions of dollars for global health.
- 12:38Speaker 1: Ah well, you know, global health and all to help
- 12:40Speaker 1: with the girls that were abused, to hell with the
- 12:42Speaker 1: people that had their lives ruined, because you know, he
- 12:45Speaker 1: can raise some money. To this day, Gate said he
- 12:49Speaker 1: wishes he had not ignored Epstein's bad reputation in pursuit
- 12:52Speaker 1: of philanthropic opportunity that never came to fruition. Even though
- 12:56Speaker 1: Epstein tried to invite him to the island or social functions,
- 13:00Speaker 1: Gates said he was conscious not to cross that threshold
- 13:04Speaker 1: because of Epstein's criminal conviction. Oh well, I'll pander to
- 13:07Speaker 1: him for some money. And I'll show up like a beggar,
- 13:10Speaker 1: but I'm not going to go to his island. Save it, okay,
- 13:14Speaker 1: please save the bullshit. I have regret that I didn't
- 13:17Speaker 1: factor that into a greater degree, Gates testified. Gates also
- 13:21Speaker 1: said that he finds it confusing how Epstein was able
- 13:24Speaker 1: to accumulate his wealth, and noted that Epstein's New York
- 13:27Speaker 1: City apartment was one of the most spacious homes in
- 13:30Speaker 1: Manhattan he has ever seen. Yeah, well, no shit, and
- 13:35Speaker 1: we all know how he got his money. Stop. Can
- 13:38Speaker 1: we just stop with the nonsense? Please dancing around the edges.
- 13:42Speaker 1: This man gained all that money and kept it growing
- 13:45Speaker 1: by laundering it, and not just for himself, for all
- 13:49Speaker 1: of his buddies too. You know all these people that
- 13:51Speaker 1: you want to have empathy for, Yeah, those people. Gates said.
- 13:56Speaker 1: He also voluntarily cooperated with the Attorney General of the
- 13:59Speaker 1: US Verse, Jann Islands, by sitting for an interview and
- 14:02Speaker 1: providing some financial documents, though he did not specify when
- 14:06Speaker 1: that was. During the Denise, George moved to try and
- 14:09Speaker 1: get the sicco suit going, and that was in pursuit
- 14:13Speaker 1: of that graft. Meanwhile, is one of the most notable
- 14:17Speaker 1: members of the late financiers in her orbit to speak
- 14:20Speaker 1: to Congress as part of his Epstein investigation. A ubiquitous
- 14:24Speaker 1: assistant who helped manage every aspect of Epstein's life, from
- 14:28Speaker 1: scheduling massages to appointments with women to meetings with powerful individuals,
- 14:34Speaker 1: as evidenced in the Justice departments millions of Epstein files.
- 14:38Speaker 1: But Graff's denials that she had any knowledge about Epstein's
- 14:42Speaker 1: wrongdoing was immediately met with condemnation from survivors. And I
- 14:46Speaker 1: agree with that too. Now, Leslie Groff, I don't think
- 14:51Speaker 1: was engaging in abuse, but she enabled it. She was
- 14:56Speaker 1: a co conspirator. And if she was setting up phone
- 14:59Speaker 1: calls and she was, you know, providing logistics, then she's
- 15:03Speaker 1: part of the regal operation. The whole entire point of
- 15:06Speaker 1: RICO is to go after shit like this. Groff said
- 15:12Speaker 1: she believed that everyone she scheduled Epstein for a massage
- 15:15Speaker 1: was a massage therapist, and said that she considered it
- 15:18Speaker 1: to be an independent contractor type of situation. Of course
- 15:22Speaker 1: she did. What's she going to incriminate herself? Oh yeah,
- 15:25Speaker 1: I knew I did it. Anyway, She testified that she
- 15:28Speaker 1: stopped regularly booking these massage appointments for Epstein in two
- 15:32Speaker 1: thousand and eight, when he served about a year in
- 15:34Speaker 1: jail in Florida. But Democrats on the committee looked at
- 15:37Speaker 1: poll holes in that assertion by pointing to other appointments
- 15:41Speaker 1: after two thousand and eight that Grof booked for Epstein. Grof,
- 15:45Speaker 1: in defense of booking appointments for Epstein even after his
- 15:49Speaker 1: first incarceration, told lawmakers, I would not have known that
- 15:52Speaker 1: this was a massage. I don't know. You're assuming that
- 15:55Speaker 1: I would think it was a massage, but I did
- 15:57Speaker 1: not think of it as a massage. I don't believe that.
- 16:00Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I don't believe it, and I don't think
- 16:02Speaker 1: a jury would either, honestly, So she had no idea,
- 16:06Speaker 1: just a shrinking violet. Stop it. That is a bunch
- 16:11Speaker 1: of nonsense. Leslie Groff knew, maybe not all of the
- 16:15Speaker 1: granular details, but you would have to be very, very
- 16:19Speaker 1: stupid to not understand what was going on. And I
- 16:22Speaker 1: have a very hard time believing that narrative. I'm sorry,
- 16:25Speaker 1: but I don't believe it. You were around him so often,
- 16:29Speaker 1: with so many people for so long, you knew or
- 16:32Speaker 1: at the very least you have heard that some bad
- 16:34Speaker 1: shit was going on, and you stayed. You continued to
- 16:38Speaker 1: book massages, you continued to remain quiet, and you continued
- 16:42Speaker 1: to look the other way. And we all know why.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Financial benefit. That's why. So as far as Leslie Groff goes,
- 16:49Speaker 1: I don't buy a thing she has to say. And
- 16:51Speaker 1: Bill Gates, well, it was only a matter of time
- 16:54Speaker 1: before he was outed as the liar he is because
- 16:58Speaker 1: the facts were there. We have heard all these stories
- 17:00Speaker 1: for years, but now we have the confirmation with the emails,
- 17:04Speaker 1: and Bill Gates can no longer deny it. That is
- 17:06Speaker 1: the only reason he's admitting it. In a perfect world
- 17:13Speaker 1: for Bill Gates, he would have been able to continue
- 17:16Speaker 1: to deny this until the end of time. But now
- 17:19Speaker 1: that the files are there for everybody to see, now
- 17:22Speaker 1: he has to change up the strategy. Right. Oh well,
- 17:25Speaker 1: I knew, but I didn't know the full extent. And
- 17:27Speaker 1: that's going to be the defense from all these people.
- 17:30Speaker 1: That's what they're going to say. The question is are
- 17:35Speaker 1: you buying it? All the information that goes with this
- 17:39Speaker 1: episode can be found in the description box.
