  Slap bang in the middle of the week and I'm delighted that you

  have chosen to take this time to announce.

  Invite me in so that you and I can crack open our Bibles,

  digitally or analog curiously. And and I don't even know what

  that word is old school. Let's just call it old school.

  It is wonderful because you and I are going to read the second
• 0:50
  letter from John in its entirety.

  And this is a letter that he has written to The Chosen lady,

  which some take to be A woman who has allowed a church to meet
• 1:02
  in her home and others interpret as the church herself.

  And either way it really doesn't make any difference.

  He writes this with a very similar content to his first
• 1:12
  letter and it is to say that we are to walk in love.

  And frankly, there are no new teachings that we need to worry
• 1:20
  about. Because what we have in Jesus is
• 1:23
  everything we need to know. So this is a wonderful letter of
• 1:26
  encouragement and drawing people.

  Go back to the basics, back to their faith in Jesus and all
• 1:34
  that. He taught us.

  So come with me back to that. Lady the church or the woman as

  we hear the words of John written in the second letter

  from John. This is a letter from John, the

  Elder. I'm writing to the chosen lady

  and to her children, whom I love in the truth as does everyone

  else? Who knows the truth?

  Because the truth lives in us and will be with us forever,

  grace, mercy and peace, which come from God, the father.

  And from Jesus Christ, the son of the father will continue to
• 2:22
  be with us who live In Truth and Love.

  How happy I was to meet some of your children and find them
• 2:31
  living. According to the truth, just as
• 2:33
  the father commanded. I am writing to remind you.

  Dear friends that we should love one another.

  This is not a new commandment but one we have had from the
• 2:45
  beginning. Love means doing what God has
• 2:49
  commanded us and he has commanded us to love one.

  Another just as you heard from the beginning I say this because

  many Deceivers have gone out into the world, they deny that.

  Jesus Christ came in a real body, such a person is a
• 3:05
  deceiver and an antichrist. Watch out that you do not lose

  what we have worked so hard to achieve, be diligent.

  So that you receive your full reward anyone who wanders away

  from this teaching has no relationship with God.

  Anyone who encourages such people becomes a partner in
