Don’t panic—Johnson County’s got you covered with two new cooling centers open Saturday, July 4th: Christ Community Church in Shawnee and the Salvation Army in Olathe, both running from 10 AM to 7 PM. Grab snacks, cold drinks, and charge your phone—all while staying cool, even if the outside temps soar. Libraries are also cooling centers but won’t be open on the holiday.
