- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Hey guys, welcome to the Almost Famous podcast. Today.
- 0:08Speaker 3: Trista is stepping in for Ben. As we do headlines,
- 0:13Speaker 3: we are continuing. Probably Bachelination's the biggest headline right now.
- 0:17Speaker 3: Grant and Juliana split. We got the announcement about a
- 0:20Speaker 3: week ago and now they have officially unfollowed each other
- 0:25Speaker 3: on Instagram. Grant got on his Instagram live the other
- 0:31Speaker 3: day and he talked about the split. He was asked
- 0:34Speaker 3: if they still talk. He said, no, we don't really
- 0:37Speaker 3: talk like that. I'm assuming it's like maybe like logistical
- 0:41Speaker 3: if anything, Like hey, do you want.
- 0:43Speaker 2: This sent back?
- 0:45Speaker 3: Somebody asked why did you break up with Juliana, and
- 0:48Speaker 3: he said, I didn't break up with anybody.
- 0:51Speaker 2: He also noted this was a big thing.
- 0:53Speaker 3: This is what stood out to me, and I sent
- 0:55Speaker 3: our Almost Famous group chat this video the video because
- 0:59Speaker 3: of it. He goes, I'm not heartbroken, and I'm like, ooh,
- 1:02Speaker 3: I don't know. That seems kind of like a bad
- 1:04Speaker 3: taste for me. He also said that he has no
- 1:08Speaker 3: desire to going to like revisiting that one day, or
- 1:12Speaker 3: to revisiting any of the other girls from his season.
- 1:14Speaker 2: He just says, life goes on. It's all about moving forward.
- 1:17Speaker 2: I am not looking back. He also said during the
- 1:20Speaker 2: live that it was a mutual split. Trista, what is
- 1:25Speaker 2: your take on this?
- 1:26Speaker 3: And did you find the whole I'm not heartbroken thing
- 1:28Speaker 3: to be a little sassy as I did?
- 1:30Speaker 4: Okay, Well, I didn't know about this live. I wish
- 1:33Speaker 4: I would have seen it.
- 1:34Speaker 3: No, he just did it two days ago. Yeah, oh oh,
- 1:37Speaker 3: you didn't watch the clip yet.
- 1:38Speaker 4: I didn't watch it. No, no, no, So you're just
- 1:40Speaker 4: you're telling me all these things, and I'm shocked. I'm shocked. Yeah,
- 1:44Speaker 4: the not heartbroken thing, I'm sorry you were engaged? How
- 1:48Speaker 4: how are you not right? Like that's that's shocking to me.
- 1:52Speaker 2: That's cool?
- 1:53Speaker 4: Broken like this that as very cold.
- 1:56Speaker 3: Yeah, even if it was a mutual split, like you say, heartbroken,
- 2:00Speaker 3: because like you should be sad about the ending of
- 2:03Speaker 3: something that could have ended up in.
- 2:05Speaker 2: That should have ended up in marriage or you know
- 2:07Speaker 2: that was the attention.
- 2:08Speaker 4: I don't know. That's that's shocking to me. If you're
- 2:11Speaker 4: not heartbroken, was your heart ever in it?
- 2:13Speaker 2: Were you that?
- 2:14Speaker 4: Like? Didn't you didn't you tell her? That you loved
- 2:16Speaker 4: her and you're not heartbroken. That literally is the meaning
- 2:20Speaker 4: of the word heart broken. Your heart is broken. And
- 2:23Speaker 4: if your heart was complete because of this person or
- 2:27Speaker 4: was happy because of this person, shouldn't it be broken
- 2:29Speaker 4: if you broke up. I don't know, that just doesn't
- 2:31Speaker 4: make any sense to me.
- 2:33Speaker 3: Yeah, even on this show, like when somebody has to
- 2:38Speaker 3: deny a rose, right, like let's just say it's top
- 2:41Speaker 3: six and you have to deny a rose that person,
- 2:44Speaker 3: you almost feel a little heartbroken.
- 2:45Speaker 2: Because you're breaking somebody else's heart.
- 2:48Speaker 4: I felt heartbroken on first night because I was breaking
- 2:51Speaker 4: people's hearts. Like not they weren't in love with me
- 2:54Speaker 4: by any means after like just meeting me for a
- 2:57Speaker 4: couple hours. But but yeah, it was heartbreaking because you
- 3:02Speaker 4: felt like they were there. They had given up you know,
- 3:04Speaker 4: part time time of their life, you know, to come
- 3:09Speaker 4: on the show and to meet me. It ended up
- 3:13Speaker 4: being for my season, and so yeah, it is a
- 3:16Speaker 4: little heartbreaking. So I feel maybe his definition of heartbreak
- 3:20Speaker 4: is just different than ours. I don't know.
- 3:24Speaker 3: Some people were saying in the comments that, like this
- 3:27Speaker 3: seems like the classic like wanted fame is so ready
- 3:32Speaker 3: to like go out there and be the single bachelor
- 3:35Speaker 3: and be able to get girls really easily. I also
- 3:38Speaker 3: think you can interpret it.
- 3:39Speaker 2: Which which I totally say that side.
- 3:41Speaker 3: I'm kind of feeling that side, But you can also
- 3:46Speaker 3: kind of turn it and say that this looks like
- 3:48Speaker 3: a guy that's like on the defense and it didn't
- 3:50Speaker 3: work out, and now he's like, oh, don't care about her,
- 3:53Speaker 3: I'm moving on and it's not going to be a
- 3:55Speaker 3: problem for me to move on, and just trying to
- 3:57Speaker 3: look like he's not affected.
- 4:00Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, just be honest with people. People like
- 4:03Speaker 4: honesty and authenticity way more than they like somebody who's
- 4:06Speaker 4: like going to be just positive just for positive sake,
- 4:09Speaker 4: you know, like be authentic with the fact that you
- 4:12Speaker 4: were just engaged to someone and you obviously cared about her,
- 4:17Speaker 4: and can you not admit that, you know, it's sad
- 4:22Speaker 4: to be ending a relationship that you thought was your future. Yeah.
- 4:26Speaker 3: Also there were comments that were like, this doesn't seem
- 4:28Speaker 3: like the bachelor that we knew, Like he was like
- 4:30Speaker 3: very like warm and sweet and emotional, and yeah, this
- 4:34Speaker 3: guy just didn't seem like that.
- 4:36Speaker 2: It seems like a front. You know.
- 4:38Speaker 4: They stopped following each other on Instagram from what our
- 4:41Speaker 4: producers are telling us. And I find it very interesting
- 4:46Speaker 4: and I've always felt it kind of sad in a
- 4:49Speaker 4: way when relationships and it's not just people in the
- 4:54Speaker 4: public eye. It's you know, teenagers that I know if
- 4:58Speaker 4: they if they with their boyfriend or girlfriend and they've
- 5:03Speaker 4: shared on Instagram, you know, all these pictures their life together,
- 5:07Speaker 4: however long they were together. You know, like they share
- 5:10Speaker 4: about their life together, and you know, whatever they've done,
- 5:13Speaker 4: they've posted on Instagram in their infeed right, so it's
- 5:16Speaker 4: not just stories, but it lives on their feed. When
- 5:20Speaker 4: they break up, they delete every single picture with that person.
- 5:25Speaker 4: So it's like that relationship in social media land never existed.
- 5:29Speaker 4: And it's so sad to me.
- 5:31Speaker 2: I don't think it's necessary unless there was a cheating involved.
- 5:35Speaker 2: I don't think it's a big deal to keep those
- 5:37Speaker 2: up there.
- 5:38Speaker 3: I agree, it's just like a chapter in your life,
- 5:40Speaker 3: a memory to keep it. Yeah, unless there's like really
- 5:43Speaker 3: harsh feelings, I don't think you.
- 5:44Speaker 2: Have to do that. I will say good.
- 5:47Speaker 3: Yeah, Like if you get involved, you know, you get
- 5:50Speaker 3: move on to a relationship in that person that you're
- 5:52Speaker 3: with doesn't want those pictures up there anymore.
- 5:55Speaker 2: That's one thing. But I don't I don't know.
- 5:58Speaker 4: Yeah right, it's just sad to me. I don't know.
- 6:00Speaker 4: Why don't you just I see Instagram as kind of
- 6:03Speaker 4: like a public diary in a way, you know, just
- 6:09Speaker 4: sharing the diary of your life, the memories that you
- 6:13Speaker 4: want to remember, the funny times, the whatever, you know,
- 6:16Speaker 4: And it just makes me sad when people are like, oh, Okay,
- 6:20Speaker 4: we're broken up, let's just delete, you know, the all
- 6:24Speaker 4: of the photo evidence. I don't know.
- 6:26Speaker 2: It's just do they do that?
- 6:27Speaker 4: I don't know. I don't know. I'm just bringing that
- 6:30Speaker 4: up as a I know that they unfollowed each other.
- 6:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I bet you they didn't.
- 6:34Speaker 3: Oh no, she has her engagement photo up there from
- 6:37Speaker 3: March twenty seventh, but that looks.
- 6:40Speaker 2: To be it. I don't know if she had anything
- 6:42Speaker 2: else with him up there.
- 6:45Speaker 4: He has nothing.
- 6:46Speaker 2: He has nothing. Crazy. It's like, guys, we have a
- 6:50Speaker 2: whole series. It's on Hulu.
- 6:54Speaker 4: I know, Like that's the thing he does have. Yeah,
- 6:59Speaker 4: he literally I'm going through there are there are no
- 7:06Speaker 4: I think he got rid of. I'm assuming he had
- 7:09Speaker 4: pictures of them.
- 7:10Speaker 2: Yeah, that's why I'm actually not sure.
- 7:11Speaker 3: I wonder if they just like never really posted about
- 7:13Speaker 3: each other, because she has plenty of stuff about him
- 7:17Speaker 3: before March twenty seventh, but nothing after March twenty seventh.
- 7:21Speaker 4: No, he has nothing. It's all gone. I guarantee you
- 7:25Speaker 4: he had at least one post. Oh yeah, you know
- 7:28Speaker 4: what I mean. Yeah, he must have. No, it's all like,
- 7:33Speaker 4: it's all just it's all just him And listen. If
- 7:37Speaker 4: that's what you want to do it, and that's your
- 7:40Speaker 4: reason for having Instagram, you just want to promote yourself
- 7:43Speaker 4: or you know whatever, then that's fine. That's your life.
- 7:46Speaker 4: It's your it's your page. Do what you want with
- 7:48Speaker 4: your page.
- 7:50Speaker 2: I just I don't know.
- 7:51Speaker 4: It makes me really sad that you just erase you know,
- 7:54Speaker 4: what happened in your past. Yeah, yeah, she's she's not
- 7:58Speaker 4: on his feed at all.
- 7:59Speaker 2: That's okay.
- 8:01Speaker 3: Moving on Bachelor's Star Hannah and Sluice. We know her
- 8:06Speaker 3: from Peter season and she got married to NFL player
- 8:10Speaker 3: Jake Funk last year. They are expecting a baby in November,
- 8:15Speaker 3: So congratulations to Hannah Ann and Jake.
- 8:18Speaker 2: She said. She told People magazine that it was.
- 8:21Speaker 3: An unexpected and joyful surprise she got pregnant on a
- 8:25Speaker 3: trip to Dubai. She says it's a moment they will
- 8:28Speaker 3: always treasure finding out together. She said she'll be sharing
- 8:32Speaker 3: Jake's reaction video soon it's so funny. She also said
- 8:36Speaker 3: that for the first trimester, she's stuck to rest and
- 8:40Speaker 3: the basics, work walks, taking care of their dog. She
- 8:44Speaker 3: said she had food aversions. Almost everything tasted off except
- 8:49Speaker 3: for fruit, which she has consistently loved. And we also
- 8:54Speaker 3: found out that she told her bestie from the Bachelor
- 8:58Speaker 3: of Victoria Fuller, in a very cute way. She said
- 9:02Speaker 3: that she was getting in the car and she was
- 9:04Speaker 3: apologizing for running late.
- 9:05Speaker 2: She goes, sorry, I'm late.
- 9:06Speaker 3: I got you this. She hands over a bottle of
- 9:09Speaker 3: wine and it says the label says only best friends
- 9:14Speaker 3: get promoted to anti baby funk, and she goes, you know, like,
- 9:18Speaker 3: I can't drink this. I'm forty five minutes late because
- 9:21Speaker 3: I've been sick. All right, so here you go, And
- 9:24Speaker 3: then Victoria.
- 9:26Speaker 2: Said that she immediately burst into tears before giving her
- 9:30Speaker 2: a big hug. So sweet. I love cute.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Idea.
- 9:35Speaker 5: Yeah, that's really cute. It's really cute.
- 9:48Speaker 2: So a couple of questions for you.
- 9:50Speaker 3: Yeah, we all know that I hated being pregnant, especially
- 9:54Speaker 3: with Dawson. It was like the worst. It was really
- 9:57Speaker 3: like the it was a very dark time for me.
- 9:59Speaker 3: I had hyper I'm assist with Dawson. Did not have
- 10:02Speaker 3: it with Hayden, which is very rare and weird, but
- 10:06Speaker 3: like still did not you know, still got plenty sick.
- 10:09Speaker 2: And did not enjoy being pregnant with Hayden. I think that.
- 10:15Speaker 3: Cravings are such a thing that we talk about with pregnancy.
- 10:19Speaker 2: Oh my god, what are your cravings? I'm like, guess what.
- 10:21Speaker 2: That is the least of anything that going on in
- 10:23Speaker 2: my life right now.
- 10:24Speaker 3: Like cravings is something that they put in rom coms
- 10:28Speaker 3: and like has just infiltrated real life. I can't ever
- 10:32Speaker 3: say that I was like I must have this now.
- 10:34Speaker 3: What I always said was that that it was kind
- 10:38Speaker 3: of like a hmm, what can I stomach? Now that
- 10:43Speaker 3: sounds like I could handle it, And that's what I
- 10:45Speaker 3: would call a craving.
- 10:47Speaker 4: What about you, M that's such a good way to
- 10:50Speaker 4: look at it. I have always said that pregnancy just
- 10:55Speaker 4: doesn't agree with me. I feel like I would have
- 10:59Speaker 4: been the kind of person and not the kind of person.
- 11:02Speaker 4: I would have loved to have, like not healthy pregnancies,
- 11:10Speaker 4: but like pregnancies that didn't disagree with my body. Yeah,
- 11:13Speaker 4: because I feel like I would have loved to be
- 11:15Speaker 4: a surrogate. I'm honestly, honestly, I would have loved to
- 11:19Speaker 4: be pregnant for other people to get Ah's so see
- 11:24Speaker 4: and I can't. Like I was like nope. After I
- 11:26Speaker 4: got pregnant, I was like, Okay, well that's not happening
- 11:30Speaker 4: because I was so sick, so sick for four months,
- 11:35Speaker 4: sixteen weeks.
- 11:36Speaker 2: That's about it.
- 11:36Speaker 3: It was like six to eighteen weeks. Like once we
- 11:38Speaker 3: got at eighteen weeks with both of them, I was like, okay,
- 11:41Speaker 3: I guess I can live. Like yes, the first eighteen
- 11:44Speaker 3: weeks with Dawson was like I actually can't live a
- 11:46Speaker 3: normal life.
- 11:48Speaker 4: No, not at all. You lay on the couch, you
- 11:51Speaker 4: don't brush your teeth. Yeah, what like you literally get
- 11:54Speaker 4: up from your bed and you go to the couch
- 11:56Speaker 4: and you lit. At least that's what I did. I
- 11:58Speaker 4: didn't brush my teeth. I didn't like. I just I
- 12:00Speaker 4: feel like I would pop fruit loops because I had
- 12:04Speaker 4: to be eating something and fruit loops were so tiny,
- 12:08Speaker 4: and would just keep me like digesting something. I don't
- 12:12Speaker 4: know why that helped, but I had to be doing that.
- 12:15Speaker 4: I would crave in the way that I feel like
- 12:19Speaker 4: it always made me feel better when I was sick.
- 12:22Speaker 4: French fries and hash browns. Those were the things that
- 12:25Speaker 4: I needed. I had to have French fries and hash browns.
- 12:30Speaker 4: And then I was I was also sick for Blake's
- 12:35Speaker 4: With Blake's Lee not as bad, but I think it
- 12:40Speaker 4: wasn't as bad because I had a sixteen month old
- 12:45Speaker 4: running around and I had to like be a mom
- 12:48Speaker 4: and not just lay on the couch and not brush
- 12:50Speaker 4: my teeth so exactly.
- 12:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I know.
- 12:54Speaker 3: Is it just because like our brain is like nope,
- 12:56Speaker 3: you must power through or is it because I'm convinced
- 13:00Speaker 3: my body was just like, oh okay, I know what
- 13:01Speaker 3: I'm doing this time.
- 13:02Speaker 2: It's not like as much of like a hormonal shift.
- 13:05Speaker 4: I don't know, that's so true. And then I also
- 13:07Speaker 4: had gestational diabetes. Oh gosh, I had help syndrome that
- 13:13Speaker 4: I didn't find out until the end, but help syndrome
- 13:15Speaker 4: and pre eclampsia, so I I literally almost died from
- 13:19Speaker 4: giving birth. So I was like Okay, Well, I guess
- 13:22Speaker 4: my body just doesn't like pregnancy. Thank god I got
- 13:25Speaker 4: pregnant because it took us two years to get pregnant.
- 13:28Speaker 3: Okay, and then sixteen months later he did it happened again?
- 13:33Speaker 4: Yeah, well I think it was. No, it was actually
- 13:35Speaker 4: sooner than that. It was right when I stopped nursing Max,
- 13:39Speaker 4: and I nursed him for a year, So I got
- 13:42Speaker 4: pregnant right when he was a year. And then I
- 13:45Speaker 4: guess he was late, like nineteen months old when oh
- 13:48Speaker 4: he was twenty months old. Sorry, the brain does not work, neither.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Me neither.
- 13:56Speaker 4: So he was twenty months old running around and I
- 13:59Speaker 4: was like, yeah, I just I just have to exist.
- 14:02Speaker 4: I remember specifically one day where I think I closed
- 14:06Speaker 4: the door. There was nothing like dangerous around for the
- 14:10Speaker 4: kids to get into, like no tables for them to
- 14:12Speaker 4: hit their heads on or anything. I put. I think
- 14:15Speaker 4: Blakesley was laying in a like a one of those
- 14:17Speaker 4: mobile things on the ground, and I was like, I'm
- 14:22Speaker 4: literally gonna lay down and just lay here, and I'm not.
- 14:26Speaker 4: I was like, I can't even interact with my children
- 14:29Speaker 4: right now because I feel maybe that was no. It
- 14:33Speaker 4: was when I was pregnant. I'm so sorry, It's okay.
- 14:35Speaker 4: I shouldn't even talk. Why am I a podcast host?
- 14:38Speaker 4: Because I can't remember.
- 14:40Speaker 3: I appreciate this so much because like with Ben, like
- 14:42Speaker 3: I just I'm like, you are so incredibly like with it, Ben,
- 14:48Speaker 3: And I'm like, can I switch brains with you for
- 14:49Speaker 3: a day?
- 14:50Speaker 2: Like I'm truly I'm like gonna be one of.
- 14:52Speaker 3: Those women who gets like late diagnosed as ADHD, because like,
- 14:56Speaker 3: I have never had eighty D symptoms in my entire
- 14:59Speaker 3: life until becoming a mom of two. Same, same, yeah,
- 15:06Speaker 3: Like this morning, I was like, where did my water
- 15:08Speaker 3: bottle go?
- 15:08Speaker 2: Where my water bottle go?
- 15:09Speaker 4: Oh?
- 15:09Speaker 3: Ashley, it's in your effing hand. Like it's petrifying sometimes.
- 15:16Speaker 4: Oh I've done that with my phone, Like where is
- 15:18Speaker 4: my phone? Where did I put my freaking phone? And
- 15:21Speaker 4: it's in my hand?
- 15:22Speaker 2: Did you watch This is Us? Yes? Okay?
- 15:25Speaker 3: Do you remember how they made Rebecca seem like she
- 15:27Speaker 3: was you know, her first sign of Alzheimer's was losing
- 15:31Speaker 3: her phone all the time.
- 15:32Speaker 2: If somebody that is.
- 15:34Speaker 3: The worst example ever, because I lose my phone around
- 15:38Speaker 3: the house five times a day.
- 15:40Speaker 4: And I have Alzheimer's in my family.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Me too, don't worry about that. Yeah, me too.
- 15:45Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm not not looking good for either of us, Ashley,
- 15:49Speaker 4: or We're just.
- 15:49Speaker 2: Gonna keep going, okay, alrighty, So then my other question
- 15:54Speaker 2: about pregnancy, but yes, I have to agree with you.
- 15:57Speaker 3: Greasy potatoes was always the way to go. Greasy anything cheesy,
- 16:02Speaker 3: totally pizza.
- 16:03Speaker 2: Yeah, pizza. Okay.
- 16:05Speaker 3: So then how did you tell your best friends you
- 16:09Speaker 3: were pregnant?
- 16:10Speaker 4: Gosh, I don't even remember. I literally, like, that is
- 16:13Speaker 4: the cutest story of how she gave her like a
- 16:17Speaker 4: wine bottle and stuff. No, the best auntie or what
- 16:20Speaker 4: have That's the cutest thing ever. Why couldn't I have
- 16:22Speaker 4: thought of that? I don't know. I do remember this.
- 16:24Speaker 4: I'll tell you a funny story. So you know, we
- 16:29Speaker 4: tried for two years. Ryan was going to climb a mountain.
- 16:34Speaker 4: It's called yeah, right, so South America. He's going to
- 16:42Speaker 4: South America, right. I was ovulating right before he left,
- 16:47Speaker 4: and and we of course had sex when I was
- 16:51Speaker 4: ovulating because we were trying to have a baby. Not
- 16:53Speaker 4: only because you know we're trying to have a baby,
- 16:55Speaker 4: but we're married and happily and you know he's going
- 16:58Speaker 4: on a trip, so we have sex, right, and I
- 17:02Speaker 4: find out that I'm pregnant while he's on this trip. Okay,
- 17:07Speaker 4: so it was like two weeks. I can't remember. He
- 17:10Speaker 4: was gone for two or three weeks. And so I
- 17:13Speaker 4: find out, like and I had I think probably hundreds
- 17:17Speaker 4: of pregnancy tests in my bathroom and I took them constantly,
- 17:22Speaker 4: constantly taking them. So I constantly am taking the test.
- 17:26Speaker 4: And I remember I took the pregnancy test and I
- 17:30Speaker 4: read it and I had taken at least a couple
- 17:33Speaker 4: hundred at this point. I feel like, so I'm standing
- 17:36Speaker 4: there going, of course it's going to be no, you
- 17:37Speaker 4: know you're not pregnant. You're not pregnant. And I read
- 17:40Speaker 4: it and it said I was pregnant. And I stood
- 17:43Speaker 4: in the doorway and I felt like my feet were
- 17:46Speaker 4: suddenly in cement blocks, like I couldn't move. I was
- 17:48Speaker 4: paralyzed with like, holy crap, it worked, like what's happening?
- 17:54Speaker 4: And Ryan's not even here, Like what the hell? So
- 17:57Speaker 4: it called my mom and told her I had to
- 18:00Speaker 4: tell somebody.
- 18:01Speaker 2: Yeah, so he was totally out of reach.
- 18:03Speaker 4: He was out of reach. We could only talk via
- 18:06Speaker 4: satellite phone, and even when we talked on satellite phone.
- 18:10Speaker 4: It was for maybe like three minutes if that. I
- 18:14Speaker 4: didn't even know if the call is this big honkin'
- 18:19Speaker 4: satellite phone. I didn't even know if we would get
- 18:22Speaker 4: cut off at some point. So I couldn't tell him
- 18:25Speaker 4: on the satellite phone, right because I'm like, I can't
- 18:28Speaker 4: tell you and then be cut off and be like,
- 18:31Speaker 4: guess what happened? Is this click? You know? So I
- 18:35Speaker 4: wrote him this sweet poem and he gets home to
- 18:40Speaker 4: the airport. I pick him upt the airport. He can't
- 18:43Speaker 4: smile because his lips are so chapped from being on
- 18:47Speaker 4: this mountain. Like he's like, he's like, you know, I
- 18:50Speaker 4: like windburn all this stuff, so he can't smile. I
- 18:53Speaker 4: give him the poem and he doesn't really smile, and
- 18:57Speaker 4: I was like, are you excited? Like what finally pregnant
- 19:00Speaker 4: or whatever? And he's like I just can't smile, like
- 19:02Speaker 4: I literally. So fast forward to like I don't know,
- 19:08Speaker 4: maybe months or years later after Max was born, and
- 19:11Speaker 4: he makes some joke about how, oh are you going
- 19:14Speaker 4: to tell me who the real father is? Because I
- 19:16Speaker 4: was were you got pregnant while I was on Ocapola
- 19:18Speaker 4: And I was like.
- 19:19Speaker 2: Dude, that's how it works. I was like, are you
- 19:25Speaker 2: kidding me?
- 19:25Speaker 4: Like, I'm sorry, but you get pregnant, you find out,
- 19:30Speaker 4: like it's not like you have to wait until you
- 19:32Speaker 4: know whatever. You all know the science, right.
- 19:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:35Speaker 4: And by the way, I think I have some pretty
- 19:38Speaker 4: good proof that he is their father.
- 19:40Speaker 2: Yeah, twins, that's hilarious.
- 19:49Speaker 4: So fun.
- 19:50Speaker 3: Oh, I love that, I am Like, I was so
- 19:56Speaker 3: awkward to tell him. Jared was fun because Jared like
- 19:59Speaker 3: didn't ever bel leave it ever. Like the first time
- 20:02Speaker 3: with Dawson, I just like had a sort of feeling.
- 20:05Speaker 3: And then I took a pregnancy test a couple of
- 20:06Speaker 3: days earlier, and I don't know why. Both the times,
- 20:09Speaker 3: all I had was the line ones, not like the
- 20:12Speaker 3: pregnant not pregnant ones.
- 20:13Speaker 4: Yes.
- 20:14Speaker 2: So I took the line one and.
- 20:17Speaker 3: I was like, there is a slight slight second line
- 20:21Speaker 3: and then he.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Was like, ah, nah, it's not.
- 20:24Speaker 3: And then and then I'm like, oh, I don't know,
- 20:27Speaker 3: and then I don't know, and then he it took
- 20:30Speaker 3: like the third one to say pregnant not pregnant for
- 20:33Speaker 3: him to actually believe it. And then with Hayden, I
- 20:36Speaker 3: had a chemical pregnancy the first month that we were
- 20:38Speaker 3: trying for Hayden. So that means like it's like a
- 20:42Speaker 3: it's like when you say the Lord miscarriages, Like I
- 20:45Speaker 3: feel like it gives it too much weight. It is
- 20:47Speaker 3: it is a little sad because in my case it
- 20:50Speaker 3: was like it was it's it's basically you miscarry the
- 20:54Speaker 3: week in which you would have found out, do you
- 20:57Speaker 3: know what I mean? So like I took a pregnancy test,
- 21:00Speaker 3: so it would have been like your week four or
- 21:02Speaker 3: five and you like start bleeding like it's your period,
- 21:08Speaker 3: but like it's probably like three days after you would
- 21:12Speaker 3: have gotten a positive pregnancy test.
- 21:13Speaker 2: So that's exactly what happened. And it was like sad.
- 21:15Speaker 3: Because with with that, I had done the whole thing
- 21:20Speaker 3: where I took it and then I gave it to
- 21:22Speaker 3: Dawson to give to Jared when he came home, and
- 21:25Speaker 3: like that was actually like the cutest thing where he
- 21:27Speaker 3: was like Dad, look, and that was our cute moment.
- 21:31Speaker 3: And then it was like three days later and I was.
- 21:33Speaker 2: Like, oh no, yeah, it was sad.
- 21:38Speaker 3: It was, but again, like I don't want to give
- 21:40Speaker 3: it too much weight because I mean it was very
- 21:42Speaker 3: sad in that day and a couple of days afterward,
- 21:44Speaker 3: but like there's women that've gone through so much more emotional.
- 21:49Speaker 2: And then the next month I text my midwife and
- 21:54Speaker 2: I told her about it and she was like, yeah,
- 21:55Speaker 2: I mean that seems like what it's happening, but she's like,
- 21:57Speaker 2: to make you feel better.
- 21:58Speaker 3: Usually like the next month or two, women's bodies are
- 22:02Speaker 3: just like kind of like prepared for it, and it
- 22:05Speaker 3: like often happens. And I was like, okay, well that
- 22:07Speaker 3: put me like a really good mindset. And then this
- 22:10Speaker 3: second and then I did get pregnant the next month
- 22:12Speaker 3: with Hayden, which was nuts. And then of course that
- 22:15Speaker 3: night I tell Jared. We were at dinner and I
- 22:17Speaker 3: was like, I feel off and he was like, you're fine,
- 22:21Speaker 3: You're not pregnant, and I was like, you are nuts.
- 22:25Speaker 3: I come home, I take a pregnancy test.
- 22:28Speaker 2: I hate.
- 22:28Speaker 3: I just casually handed over to him on the couch
- 22:31Speaker 3: at night. And then he's like he's like, that is
- 22:34Speaker 3: very faint. That is not pregnant, and I'm like, Jared,
- 22:36Speaker 3: that is what Dawson was. And then he's like, yeah,
- 22:39Speaker 3: I'll believe it in a week. And then oh week
- 22:42Speaker 3: came anyway, So yeah, both very uneventful moments but I
- 22:46Speaker 3: told my friends at like nine weeks, and I FaceTime
- 22:49Speaker 3: them just like very sick on the couch. I'm not
- 22:51Speaker 3: like the kind of girl who like calls our friends
- 22:54Speaker 3: to catch up. Basically, I see them in person and
- 22:56Speaker 3: that's when we catch up. Yeah, but so I faced
- 23:00Speaker 3: and the second I FaceTime them, they're like, you're pregnant.
- 23:02Speaker 4: I'm like yeah, yeah, I love it.
- 23:07Speaker 2: Yeah. Okay, Well lots of good girl talk. Now let's
- 23:11Speaker 2: go on to a hot, hot girl.
- 23:13Speaker 3: Did you see Caitlyn Bristows Sports Illustrated shoot for.
- 23:16Speaker 2: It was a digital shoot.
- 23:17Speaker 3: It was like in honor of her fortieth birthday, and
- 23:19Speaker 3: I'm like, I'm mine. I mean, I know, forty is
- 23:22Speaker 3: like nothing, but it's just crazy to me because I
- 23:25Speaker 3: remember Caitlyn turning thirty. Caitlyn turned thirty the year that
- 23:30Speaker 3: she was the Bachelorette. She filmed it and then it
- 23:33Speaker 3: started airing the month that she turned thirty.
- 23:35Speaker 4: Yeah, me doo. I actually had my birthday on the show,
- 23:38Speaker 4: like the guys brought me presents.
- 23:40Speaker 2: Oh really, your thirtieth birthday?
- 23:41Speaker 4: Yes?
- 23:42Speaker 2: No way, Oh my gosh, that funny.
- 23:45Speaker 3: Yes, And I remember being like I was twenty seven
- 23:47Speaker 3: to Kaitlyn and are like two and a half three
- 23:49Speaker 3: years a part. And then I was like, oh my god,
- 23:51Speaker 3: she's turning thirty. Oh my god, she's such an adult.
- 23:55Speaker 2: And now she turned forty.
- 23:56Speaker 3: And I had such like a similar response to it.
- 24:00Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, right, she's like full grown hatty hatty mccotter scene. Yeah,
- 24:05Speaker 4: like she's Yeah. I loved it, I commented. And you know,
- 24:10Speaker 4: I think I said, HATTI, holy HATI.
- 24:14Speaker 2: Holy hot. That's here in the rundown. He said, holy HATTI. Yes, yeah,
- 24:18Speaker 2: she looks so amazing. It's in her backyard. Photo shoot,
- 24:21Speaker 2: Go look at her. She looks great.
- 24:22Speaker 3: And then she also posted a personal ballad about love
- 24:26Speaker 3: for her fortieth birthday. She she released it the day
- 24:29Speaker 3: of It is so pretty well, it's like a heart
- 24:34Speaker 3: break it there's like it's like heartbreak theme, but it's
- 24:36Speaker 3: beautiful to listen to. Her voice sounds so good. And
- 24:42Speaker 3: she this is her third song, her third song, and
- 24:45Speaker 3: she said that creating this song was out of her
- 24:47Speaker 3: comfort zone, but she's actively learning to become comfortable with discomfort.
- 24:52Speaker 3: And a big thing that happened with this post is
- 24:57Speaker 3: that there's a mister Zach Clark who posted underneath. I
- 25:00Speaker 3: think this is maybe his first comment underneath the photo
- 25:02Speaker 3: of hers says happy birthday Moon. Does that sound like
- 25:07Speaker 3: a nickname or not? Maybe a Game of Thrones reference
- 25:10Speaker 3: as well, And I'm a little romantic there.
- 25:13Speaker 2: This is brave, great song, keep going love it.
- 25:18Speaker 4: I am so proud of her. I saw, you know,
- 25:22Speaker 4: she's she talked to Mel Robbins on her podcast and yew,
- 25:27Speaker 4: you know, she talked about her fears and what she
- 25:29Speaker 4: would love to do, and Mel was like, you know,
- 25:32Speaker 4: just let them, you know, let them her whole tagline,
- 25:35Speaker 4: let them not tagline really, but her whole book, you know,
- 25:39Speaker 4: is about just let people think what they're going to
- 25:41Speaker 4: think and do what you want to do with your life,
- 25:43Speaker 4: fulfill your dreams if you have the chance. I was
- 25:47Speaker 4: actually texting with Caitlin when she was in the studio
- 25:51Speaker 4: and she sent me a picture of that. She ended
- 25:54Speaker 4: up posting on that on that post of her being
- 25:57Speaker 4: in the studio, and I'm just so proud of her
- 25:59Speaker 4: because I know that there's you know, she's a good
- 26:02Speaker 4: friend and I know that there's she's really struggled a
- 26:07Speaker 4: lot with sharing, you know, and keeping things private and
- 26:10Speaker 4: writing that line. You know of wanting to share with
- 26:13Speaker 4: people her authenticity and and also wanting to keep things
- 26:19Speaker 4: really private. And I just feel like it is so
- 26:22Speaker 4: beautifully authentic and relatable to so many people, the lyrics
- 26:27Speaker 4: of the song. So I'm just so proud of her
- 26:30Speaker 4: for sharing it. I think it's beautiful. And yeah, it's
- 26:33Speaker 4: a really.
- 26:33Speaker 3: Nice way of putting it out there. It's kind of
- 26:35Speaker 3: Taylor Swift, like She's like, yeah, I tell you, I'll
- 26:38Speaker 3: tell you things in song and you can interpretize you may.
- 26:43Speaker 4: That is so so true. Yes, I'm sure she would
- 26:47Speaker 4: love that. I know she would love that. Yeah, Lonely
- 26:52Speaker 4: in Love. Go listen to it, everybody, all right.
- 27:05Speaker 3: Our final headline is Tyler Cameron. Did you see his
- 27:08Speaker 3: house because they got crapped?
- 27:11Speaker 2: Yeah? Okay, I literally I thought that they did it.
- 27:13Speaker 3: I'm seeing now that it was actually HGTV's Gali Alex,
- 27:19Speaker 3: who kind of turned it into what she calls like
- 27:21Speaker 3: a grown up renovation.
- 27:23Speaker 2: And I thought Tate and him did it together his
- 27:26Speaker 2: girlfriend I did too, Yeah, because he even said like
- 27:30Speaker 2: he made like some joke about like Tate not actually
- 27:33Speaker 2: doing it, that he did it.
- 27:34Speaker 1: Well.
- 27:34Speaker 3: Actually it was a professional decorator and I was like can,
- 27:38Speaker 3: I wrote underneath it. I was like, can, whoever, I
- 27:41Speaker 3: need you guys to come over and do my house.
- 27:43Speaker 3: It is sedunnang, It's gorgeous.
- 27:46Speaker 4: The whole ceiling, how they took out like that top
- 27:49Speaker 4: level whatever thing, that like falcony thing that was in
- 27:53Speaker 4: the inside of the house.
- 27:54Speaker 2: I know that, yeah, well was that.
- 27:58Speaker 4: But then they took away the ceiling and made the
- 28:00Speaker 4: ceiling just giant and put that whole like accent wall.
- 28:03Speaker 4: It's gorgeous.
- 28:05Speaker 2: It is so nice.
- 28:05Speaker 3: You guys have to check out the Instagram. I'm very
- 28:09Speaker 3: into like the colors that they used. Remember, you know,
- 28:12Speaker 3: just you know, a couple of years ago, it was
- 28:14Speaker 3: all about the gray whites and blah blash, and now
- 28:16Speaker 3: I just love the color and like a little more
- 28:18Speaker 3: like antique vibe.
- 28:20Speaker 4: I'm all about color.
- 28:22Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I know, yeah, color color.
- 28:24Speaker 3: I think that like the really, at the end of
- 28:26Speaker 3: the day, we all like color more. I think like
- 28:30Speaker 3: there was some sort of I think we were trying
- 28:34Speaker 3: to like clean like there. I've seen Instagram reels about
- 28:38Speaker 3: how millennials grew up in these houses that you know,
- 28:41Speaker 3: like my mom, my parents' house, kitchen looks kind of
- 28:45Speaker 3: like the olive garden, and they joke about how, like,
- 28:47Speaker 3: you know, nineties moms have like olive garden kitchens.
- 28:49Speaker 2: And I think we were just like all a little
- 28:51Speaker 2: like overwhelmed at that stuff.
- 28:53Speaker 3: And then we're like, oh, yeah, let's just like do
- 28:56Speaker 3: really clean, clean neutrals and now do they have.
- 29:00Speaker 4: A border of like an ivy Like.
- 29:02Speaker 3: Oh, oh, my mom had like all the like the
- 29:05Speaker 3: the greenery in the brass in the like brass baskets,
- 29:11Speaker 3: and then like she had grape vines.
- 29:14Speaker 2: They actually just took down that wallpaper. She had grape wallpaper.
- 29:18Speaker 3: Yeah, she had the pigs and the cows holding the
- 29:21Speaker 3: little chalkboards.
- 29:22Speaker 4: Of course, oh you chickens. Yeah.
- 29:26Speaker 2: Yeah. So I think that we were just like, okay,
- 29:29Speaker 2: we want something clean and neutral, and now we're like,
- 29:31Speaker 2: wait a second, we're carving the warmth and they put
- 29:33Speaker 2: the warmth in this house that looks so good.
- 29:35Speaker 3: And how cute are Tyler and Tate. I can't wait
- 29:38Speaker 3: for this engagement which is bound to happen. They are
- 29:41Speaker 3: They seem perfect together.
- 29:43Speaker 4: Yeah. I just saw a clip of Nick on his
- 29:47Speaker 4: podcast talking to them, and they are there. I don't
- 29:51Speaker 4: know him. I you know, I've never met him, but
- 29:55Speaker 4: they are adorable together. They're so cute. Yeah, I I
- 30:01Speaker 4: love that. I'm just I love love. So yeah, it
- 30:04Speaker 4: doesn't matter if they are two people who met on
- 30:07Speaker 4: the show. Like I just I just love love, and
- 30:11Speaker 4: I think they're really cute together.
- 30:13Speaker 3: Yeah, And like I kind of like love the fact
- 30:15Speaker 3: that he was like dating Gigi hadied and like other celebrities,
- 30:19Speaker 3: and then he kind of just is like, no, you
- 30:21Speaker 3: know what, I want to move home, do home renovations
- 30:24Speaker 3: and date one of these girls that I've known, like
- 30:26Speaker 3: for a long time who's always been a friend of mine.
- 30:29Speaker 3: Is really nice and he's like such a sweet guy.
- 30:31Speaker 3: Every time he's on the podcast, I'm like yours. I
- 30:35Speaker 3: guess I regard him as kind of like a celebrity,
- 30:37Speaker 3: right because like he has like elevated to that level
- 30:41Speaker 3: and he seems so grounded and down to earth.
- 30:45Speaker 4: Okay, he's good, all right, Well.
- 30:48Speaker 2: Trista, thanks for joining me today. We miss Ben and
- 30:52Speaker 2: he'll be back next episode. And until then, I've been Ashley.
