- 0:50Annie talks.
- 0:50Happy to see everybody here.
- 0:52Uh, today we got Alicia Della Fontana with us, uh, welcoming this hour.
- 0:58Thanks for having me.
- 1:00Yeah.
- 1:00So let's start.
- 1:01I know that you've been in, uh, electric carting, uh, all your way.
- 1:05Start right away.
- 1:07Yeah, I did start it in electric racing.
- 1:10And
- 1:13I think that the thing that, you know, hooked me was obviously, um, the speed,
- 1:20you know, that shut off adrenaline, but I think also that constant feeling, you
- 1:27know, of butterflies in your stomach.
- 1:29Mm-hmm.
- 1:30You know, it.
- 1:31It's, it's a nice feeling, you know, sometimes it's, you know, related
- 1:35with, with nervousness and all that stuff, but I don't know, for me,
- 1:40it's like a reminder that I'm doing the thing that I love and that I'm
- 1:47really, um, into it and, you know.
- 1:51Making everything possible to do it right.
- 1:54Mm-hmm.
- 1:55I don't know.
- 1:55It's like that reminder that I'm doing what I love and that I'm doing it right.
- 2:00That's awesome.
- 2:01So that was more like fun for you, right?
- 2:04When was like you, uh, decided that that's your dream to.
- 2:09So it's funny, it was, um, a weekend of Formula One race and I was watching
- 2:15it with my family and after that we decided, um, to go to a cartoon track,
- 2:21you know, just to have some fun.
- 2:23Mm-hmm.
- 2:24Um, but the thing is I really loved it.
- 2:26Um, I say like, instead of a love at first side, it was like, love at first drive.
- 2:35I don't know.
- 2:36I, I enjoyed it so much that I asked my dad if it was, if it would be crazy
- 2:43to, to try it as it's as a sport.
- 2:46Um, I mean, I've always been like.
- 2:49A very sportive person.
- 2:50Mm-hmm.
- 2:51You know, trying many disciplines at school level competitions, but you know,
- 2:55always there, um, searching new sports.
- 2:58Um, but yeah, now that I look back, um, nothing felt how Hearting feels like.
- 3:06I don't know.
- 3:06Um, it's a feeling I can't really express with words, but I think that the smile
- 3:13underneath my helmet says, you know?
- 3:15Mm-hmm.
- 3:16And it's, yeah.
- 3:18Nice.
- 3:19So you, you just, uh, felt like.
- 3:22Hey, this, this is, uh, uh, like my job, which I want to
- 3:25do and I want to sing Driver.
- 3:27Yeah.
- 3:27And actually the formal one inspired you.
- 3:29Uh, yeah.
- 3:29Think in that way.
- 3:31That's awesome.
- 3:31And yeah, you mentioned that, uh, you went on with your family.
- 3:35Uh, can you, how family react?
- 3:37Uh, like, you know, that's dangerous sports, of course.
- 3:41And, uh, maybe they worry about you.
- 3:43Yeah, yeah.
- 3:43So yeah, obviously they're, sometimes it gets scary, you know, it's, it's.
- 3:50It's a tough sport.
- 3:51Yeah.
- 3:51And sometimes it can be really dangerous, but I think that, um, I don't know,
- 3:58they're always been there supporting me and making sure I am doing the things
- 4:04I love and achieving all my dreams.
- 4:07So yeah, I think they.
- 4:10Play like a crucial role in this journey because, well, for me, um, I don't know.
- 4:19Family is, it's really important and, you know, having their support,
- 4:24um, keeps me motivated, you know?
- 4:28Mm-hmm.
- 4:28And it just, yeah, the reminder that.
- 4:31Yeah, as well.
- 4:32I'm doing the things I love, the people I love support me and yeah,
- 4:37I, I'm really grateful with them for, for being by my side in this journey.
- 4:44It's really nice that, that's real few more tough times on the racing
- 4:48track and to adapting to the cars.
- 4:50Uh, can you about started in cars and then you moved to professional cars?
- 4:55Uh, yes.
- 4:55In Mexico, you, uh, earned P two.
- 4:58And how do the podiums.
- 5:00Well, obviously they felt amazing.
- 5:02I mean, one of, uh, every driver's dream is to be on the podium and Yeah.
- 5:09You know, it was like my first dream.
- 5:11It's becoming a reality and mm-hmm.
- 5:14Yeah, it's, it's, it's an amazing feeling, but for me it was also
- 5:19like that boost of confidence.
- 5:22I mean, it made me realize that I belong in this world and I felt proud of myself
- 5:29because, because, um, those result, those results were, uh, the product of my
- 5:35hard work during my first months of my.
- 5:39Of my current journey also.
- 5:41Tell me about your view started with electric cars and driving
- 5:45cart with, uh, with engine.
- 5:46Yeah.
- 5:47Uh, how does it feel?
- 5:48Was it different?
- 5:49Uh, you know, we got a lot of EV cars, uh, nowadays on the roads.
- 5:53Yeah.
- 5:53Uh, what do you prefer from your side?
- 5:56I mean, obviously the, I felt a huge change, you know, because, um,
- 6:03the electric guard, well, at first.
- 6:05They, they don't have the same, you know, the same sound,
- 6:08you know, it's not the same.
- 6:10Mm-hmm.
- 6:11The same sound.
- 6:11Also the feeling changes, the driving changes, you know, because
- 6:15it's, it's a different track, a different engine and yeah.
- 6:20One runs with full battery and the other one has electrical parts and also aing
- 6:25with gasoline and all this, this stuff.
- 6:28So.
- 6:29Yeah, it was, it was a huge change because, well, also the speed, you know?
- 6:35Mm-hmm.
- 6:35Um, the change of speed is really, really, it impacts you, so.
- 6:42Yeah, I did felt it like a, a big change.
- 6:46And at the beginning it was tough for me, you know, because I, I was used to a
- 6:51way of driving with the electrical cards.
- 6:54Mm-hmm.
- 6:54And when changing to the professional cards, well I, I needed to adapt
- 7:00to these new, um, way of driving.
- 7:04So, yeah, at the beginning it was tough, but with the time and training and.
- 7:10You know, compromise it.
- 7:13It changed, you know?
- 7:14And now, and now I feel more.
- 7:17You know, more, more confident mm-hmm.
- 7:19In this new other way of driving.
- 7:22Yeah.
- 7:22You know, definitely I started from, uh, ing, like I started in
- 7:26professional ing right away, but I had some endurance races and rent cars.
- 7:31Uh, definitely, uh, because professional cars.
- 7:34They're lighter.
- 7:36Um, yeah.
- 7:37Yeah.
- 7:37And, uh, you know, accelerate in a really fast way.
- 7:40So yeah, it's, it's really cool that you jump into this because, uh, I think
- 7:45nothing with Scar was, uh, especially if you ever going to try them.
- 7:48Yeah.
- 7:49They're really fun.
- 7:50Yeah.
- 7:50Yeah, yeah.
- 7:52Yeah.
- 7:52I'm looking forward for, uh, trying Yeah.
- 7:56The, the shift during the season.
- 7:57So, yeah, we'll see, we'll see that big change.
- 8:01Yeah.
- 8:02But you know, also physically they're really hard.
- 8:05Uh, so then I raise an open wheelers and I can say that open viewers
- 8:10a little bit easier than driving in, uh, the, the shifter cart.
- 8:14Yeah,
- 8:16I can imagine.
- 8:17Yeah, they're really hard to drive.
- 8:19Um, so you moved Spain actually to join, uh, car championships here?
- 8:24Yeah.
- 8:24Uh, what actually decided.
- 8:27So I found a sports academy.
- 8:30Mm-hmm.
- 8:30And we decided this change because, um, what the academy offered.
- 8:38So in Mexico, I couldn't always balance school with carding.
- 8:43You know, I trained on track as much as I could, and I kept a basic gym routine.
- 8:50Mm-hmm.
- 8:51But now that I'm in the academy, I can attend to school, uh, train
- 8:56and track, train with a physical trainer, uh, have sessions with,
- 9:01um, I don't know, nutritionist, psychologist, and physiotherapist.
- 9:06Mm-hmm.
- 9:06When it's needed and all within a schedule that allows me to do everything.
- 9:13Uh, yeah, I mean, I miss Mexico a lot, but Spain has been like a, a great
- 9:20opportunity to keep growing as an athlete.
- 9:23Uh, why don't you think that you, uh, actually try racing here or you really,
- 9:29uh, like European, uh, motor sport?
- 9:32Yeah.
- 9:32Well, I mean, I think that, well since little, I, I've always wanted
- 9:38to, to live in Europe, you know?
- 9:40Mm-hmm.
- 9:40It's, it.
- 9:42There are places that I, I really like, and I don't know, it was more
- 9:48of, I found an academy in Spain.
- 9:51Mm-hmm.
- 9:52And, um, yeah, I, it was more like, oh, I found this opportunity and I'm taking it.
- 9:58Mm-hmm.
- 9:58So.
- 10:00It's not like I was looking for many options and then I choose one.
- 10:05No, it was more like I saw the opportunity and, um, well, obviously after talking
- 10:10to my family and all this stuff, I, we, we, we made that decision, you know?
- 10:15Mm-hmm.
- 10:16And well, it, it was also like a personal thing because my parents were looking
- 10:21forward to, to, to move to Spain.
- 10:25Mm-hmm.
- 10:25So.
- 10:27Although I'm in Barcelona and they're in Madrid, you know, having family closer
- 10:32and yeah, they keep, you know, achieving their dreams, you know, their goals,
- 10:38moving to Spain and start a new life here.
- 10:42And obviously being as much as, um, close as much as they can to me.
- 10:49So we're.
- 10:50Together.
- 10:51Mm-hmm.
- 10:52So, yeah, it was more of like, oh, we have the opportunity, we take it and
- 10:57well, it, it also, um, turned out that it was like a family goal to move to Spain.
- 11:03Mm-hmm.
- 11:03That's really nice that your goals kind of, uh, met and, uh, you got, yeah.
- 11:08Uh, only one way, like to Spain and, uh, yes.
- 11:12Here and develop.
- 11:13Cool.
- 11:14Um, yeah.
- 11:15What's the biggest, ch, biggest, uh, difference between racing?
- 11:18What, so, in Mexico, the, the passion is huge and the
- 11:23atmosphere is very supportive.
- 11:26While in Spain, the structure is more demanding and competitive mm-hmm.
- 11:32With bigger greeds and stronger rivals.
- 11:35But at the end, both exes have.
- 11:37Being important.
- 11:38You know, I mean, Mexico gave me my first steps and you know, that first confidence
- 11:44and Spain pushes me to keep evolving.
- 11:46So actually that big, uh, I know that, so in, in car, nice way, like all the
- 11:52stuff, um, where that Spain is more like, uh, motorcycle, uh, con uh, yes.
- 11:58But on the other side, I think also got not only one card circuit.
- 12:02Right.
- 12:02Um, so.
- 12:04Now you can mean the Valencia champ.
- 12:06Tell me more about this.
- 12:07What the hardest part of, so I think that the hardest part has been,
- 12:13you know, adapting to the intensity and consistency required, I mean.
- 12:18The level in Spain is very high, so you have to be at your best
- 12:24in, in every single session.
- 12:27So I think, uh, that part of adapting, you know, because also
- 12:31Mexico and Spain, although we have the same language, they're.
- 12:35They have different cultures.
- 12:37So it's, I mean, I am, I'm, I'm 18 years now, but 17 years of my life, I,
- 12:44I, I lived in Mexico and yeah, I was pretty used to a way of living there.
- 12:50Um, and now moving to Spain, you know, it's a new whole, um, adapting process.
- 12:56Process.
- 12:57And.
- 12:59Probably, you know, that part of adapting has been, uh, quite tough.
- 13:05But with the time, it's, it's, it's easier now.
- 13:09Uh, so you like adapting to life and together adapting to the championship?
- 13:13Yeah.
- 13:13And uh, cart and everything like, uh, together in one moment actually.
- 13:18Yeah.
- 13:19Okay.
- 13:19Yeah.
- 13:20Uh, pretty much.
- 13:22So you moved to Spain like, uh, yeah.
- 13:25It was a year ago.
- 13:26Yeah.
- 13:27Mm-hmm.
- 13:27In September last year it was.
- 13:30Okay.
- 13:30So still got a lot of time, mission, and uh, yeah.
- 13:34And definitely you go to, um.
- 13:38So what's, uh, what's the one moment you're the most proud
- 13:42or find this, uh, academy?
- 13:44So, I mean, I, I, I don't think I have like a specific moment.
- 13:50It's more like through the whole year.
- 13:53Mm-hmm.
- 13:54And it's, um, you know, I'm really proud of my progress throughout the season,
- 13:59you know, my individual evolution.
- 14:01You know, at the beginning it wasn't, it wasn't, um, what did you say?
- 14:05It wasn't easy.
- 14:06Um, I mean, that part, I needed to adapt to different things and obviously
- 14:14the first impact is really high.
- 14:16But, you know, with the time and, um, the people around me has, has made
- 14:22this progress progress, um, easier.
- 14:25Mm-hmm.
- 14:25And yeah.
- 14:26Um, looking back now and to all those moments, I am, I am really proud of, of
- 14:32that progress and yeah, always, um, keep head up and, you know, keep this progress.
- 14:40Evolving, you know, it's nice.
- 14:42So enjoy the moment, the people.
- 14:43Yeah.
- 14:44Uh, who are with you.
- 14:45It's actually really nice to have.
- 14:46Uh, so now I'm in some racing and then we got all these, so I'm really happy that
- 14:51in Spain with ing, uh, because Thank you.
- 14:54You know, ING can be sometimes, uh, yeah.
- 14:57Because you know, young guys, they're really hot.
- 15:00They, they just want to win all races so some spices can happen.
- 15:05So yeah, it's really cool that you adapt, uh, in a nice way to support.
- 15:09Um, so what plans do you have, uh, this year and, yeah.
- 15:14So for this year, the plan was, uh, competing at the Valentine
- 15:19championship and trying a test and like, you know, a testing session
- 15:23from, um, the Spanish championship.
- 15:27Mm-hmm.
- 15:28And I actually had the test, um, last weekend and in two weeks I have the
- 15:35last competition of the championship.
- 15:37So for.
- 15:39This year, you know, 2025, um, you know, it's finishing the season with
- 15:45that last race and, you know, um, for the next season it's, you know, giving
- 15:51that step to the Spanish championship.
- 15:54Mm-hmm.
- 15:54You know, I agree.
- 15:55Uh, a bigger greed, um, more.
- 15:58More competition, you know, and yeah, pretty much that, you know,
- 16:02giving that, that step forward.
- 16:05Mm-hmm.
- 16:05And keep open in carting.
- 16:07So yeah.
- 16:08I'm, look, I'm looking forward to, to the Spanish championship.
- 16:12Uh, what class are you?
- 16:13It is, uh, in carting and it's X 30 senior.
- 16:18So this is like, uh, an adult class.
- 16:20Yeah.
- 16:21Because I know that, uh, you know, when I was in ING can get
- 16:24into adult class 10 years old.
- 16:27Yes.
- 16:27So now you can feel like this.
- 16:28Yeah.
- 16:28Yes.
- 16:29Alright.
- 16:29Yeah.
- 16:30Yeah.
- 16:30The, I think this, this category has like, uh, from 15 years to,
- 16:36I don't know, probably 50, 60.
- 16:39Yeah.
- 16:39Yeah, yeah.
- 16:39Yeah.
- 16:40I think you can, yeah.
- 16:42Yeah, you can definitely.
- 16:44I think there's not like a limit on.
- 16:47Mm-hmm.
- 16:48About, you know?
- 16:49Mm-hmm.
- 16:49Yeah.
- 16:50All right.
- 16:51And you mentioned that you're inspired by F1.
- 16:54What do you want?
- 16:55Like, would you like to open or maybe would like to, let's just talk like,
- 17:00uh, that's your dream or something.
- 17:01Uh, or maybe you can, yeah.
- 17:03Take, uh, like both the opportunity.
- 17:05Yeah.
- 17:05So as you mentioned, you know, I feel very connected to their
- 17:08mission of giving visibility mm-hmm.
- 17:12And opportunities to, to women in motorsport.
- 17:15And I mean, obviously seeing girls competing at such high levels,
- 17:20um, proves that it's possible, you know, and it motivates me to, to
- 17:24keep working hard and I do that.
- 17:27Well, I hope that one day I can also inspire younger drivers as
- 17:32these drivers, um, inspire me.
- 17:35But yes, I think that probably my main goal.
- 17:42It's, um, you know, formula raising.
- 17:45I know it's the, it's, it's the thing that I've been watching all these
- 17:49years and I really enjoy, and I can feel it through the tv, you know,
- 17:54and I'm, I'm, I'm really excited.
- 17:57Uh, I mean, I'm always open to new categories, you know, and
- 18:01it will be nice either to try an endurance or a gt, you know?
- 18:04Mm-hmm.
- 18:05Just to, you know, have all the options and, you know, just to clarify in
- 18:10my mind, you know, and notice that there are different options mm-hmm.
- 18:14From where I could continue.
- 18:17But yeah, I think that my main goal is from your racing.
- 18:20Of course, it, uh, depends on the budget which you're going to have.
- 18:23Yeah.
- 18:24Because yeah, formal.
- 18:25So yeah, it's really cool that you like, okay, let's take this
- 18:29opportunity and like you can jump to GT car anytime or into the formal.
- 18:33It's really nice.
- 18:35Um, you also mentioned that you.
- 18:37Like formal E Tell me more about, uh, how do you solve racing?
- 18:40Like, uh, are we going to have only, or you think that, uh, in, yeah, so
- 18:46I mean, I think that the future of electric racing is very promising.
- 18:51You know, Motorsport is evolving, you know, categories
- 18:53like F1 want to go to zero.
- 18:56They have the zero project and.
- 19:00Yeah, young drivers like me will, will have the chance to
- 19:03grow alongside this change.
- 19:06Um, obviously it's not just about performance, but also about
- 19:10sustainability and innovation and yeah, I would really love to be
- 19:13part of this, of this transition.
- 19:17Um, yeah, I mean, I think, I mean the, the mission is it's, you
- 19:23know, really innovative, but.
- 19:26For example, formula One, I think they will achieve their zero mission, but I
- 19:31think that other categories will stay with the normal engine, with gasoline and
- 19:36the, you know, that war of the engine.
- 19:39Mm-hmm.
- 19:40But yeah, I think they will start to play with that mix of
- 19:45electrical part and then gym part.
- 19:47So like, uh, hybrids?
- 19:49Yes.
- 19:49Like a P Yes.
- 19:51Class and lemon.
- 19:52Yes.
- 19:53Maybe we got also hybrids, the formal one, also the hybrid.
- 19:56Uh, yeah, they got the system so.
- 19:59I think, you know, when, uh, we're talking about, uh, hybrids,
- 20:03like on the road hybrid, uh, because like it's more effective.
- 20:07You not connected to the charger all the time for racing Play more.
- 20:11Yeah.
- 20:12Uh, from braking, in my opinion.
- 20:14Uh, only ev because ev cars, they heavier than hybrid.
- 20:18That's a factor is really crucial in racing for sure.
- 20:22Yes.
- 20:24Uh, you're also finishing the high school and academy, so
- 20:29how you balance in your life?
- 20:30Is it hard for you to study, exercise it, the racing driver at the same time?
- 20:35Yes.
- 20:36So obviously the academy has been like a, a huge help on this part
- 20:43of balancing school and and sport.
- 20:47Yeah, but also like the school part has been very supportive.
- 20:50You know, if.
- 20:52I need to be out for the weekend, you know, uh, from Thursday, let's say
- 20:56Thursday and Friday, I miss school.
- 20:58So, um, I don't know if I miss a, a lesson outta class or if I miss a test.
- 21:05Um, the school helps me, you know, they, they, they give me, you know, this extra
- 21:12week to maybe study for the test and then, um, making it, or if I. In the
- 21:18case I lose, um, I don't know, a lesson.
- 21:22Uh, the teacher, it's, it's there for helping me.
- 21:25You know, if I don't know, for example, I ask for, um, my friends for help,
- 21:30and if I don't really understand it or I'm not like fully into it, I can go
- 21:35to a teacher and mm-hmm she will help.
- 21:37Because they're really supportive in this, in this part, you know?
- 21:40Mm-hmm.
- 21:41It's really nice.
- 21:41So you kind of like, uh, can miss some lessons and then like go to
- 21:46and work on the topic and then Yeah.
- 21:48Do test and it's really nice.
- 21:50Um, you also got sports, uh, psychology.
- 21:54Um, from my side, I see that Central Hills.
- 21:58Part of our life for sure.
- 21:59It's a big part of the sport.
- 22:01What excite you about the university?
- 22:04Yeah, yeah, so I mean, I'm really inspired by my, you know, my own experience.
- 22:09I mean, as you say, as you mentioned, sorry, our head is
- 22:13crucial and you know, at all times we need to be really focused and.
- 22:19That may sound easy, but applying it, it can be complicated.
- 22:24Mm-hmm.
- 22:24You know, the mind can play, play some tricks that if you don't know
- 22:29how to control them, it can play on the wrong side for yourself.
- 22:35So, for example, at the first, at first, I, I didn't have a psychologist and
- 22:41from time to time it was tough, you know, to get out of my own thoughts.
- 22:45Mm-hmm.
- 22:47But.
- 22:47I mean, I obviously had, uh, my family there supporting me and, you know, trying
- 22:53to help, but it's not the same, you know.
- 22:56So when I arrived to the academy, I started having sessions twice a month.
- 23:02Mm-hmm.
- 23:02And during race weekends.
- 23:04And that really helped me, you know, to be more confident, to stay concentrated.
- 23:09You know, I learned to deal with all these mm-hmm.
- 23:13Intrusive thoughts and also these feelings and yeah, simply to clear
- 23:18my mind to, to clear my mind.
- 23:21And yeah, I think that with a clear mind, performance is better.
- 23:26Mm-hmm.
- 23:26So, yeah, I, I appreciate all this help so much that now I truly
- 23:33understand how important our mind is.
- 23:37And I mean, eh, personally, I've always been like a very sensitive person.
- 23:43Mm-hmm.
- 23:43And I've always liked helping others.
- 23:46So while watching, I don't know, interviews from drivers, I noticed
- 23:51that there are many drivers that are dealing with these struggles
- 23:56and I don't know, maybe, um.
- 24:00There's not enough help to, to these kind of situations.
- 24:05So I don't know, these kind of things makes me put myself like on their shoes.
- 24:12Mm-hmm.
- 24:12And, you know, to really understand them.
- 24:14And yeah, my goal is that one day I would, um, you know, like to help these,
- 24:20uh, or other drivers, you know mm-hmm.
- 24:22With sports psychology, because, I mean, it's.
- 24:25Very, it's, it's at very, it's very, um, a dedicated, um, subject and it
- 24:33needs to be treated well, you know?
- 24:36Yeah, absolutely agree with you.
- 24:37It's, yeah.
- 24:38Um, it's very important and I would really, I would really
- 24:41help like to help others.
- 24:43It's really nice that it would like, uh, because you know, you're talking
- 24:47about other sports, I think they had.
- 24:51Cycle like long time, like lot longer than in racing for sure, because in
- 24:56racing, uh, you know, people rather rely on them themselves, uh, than on this.
- 25:01But, uh, right now I think everybody on this part, we got our minds and we
- 25:07have to work with an everything things.
- 25:09There's a lot of calm down before the race do after the race.
- 25:13Yeah.
- 25:13It's really nice that you're interested actually.
- 25:16Yeah.
- 25:17Racing.
- 25:17Um, do you have any before the race?
- 25:20Calm down to, so, um, uh, I don't think I have any ritual.
- 25:25You know, I've always heard other drivers saying they put first the right glove
- 25:29and then the left one, or first one shoe, and then the other one, I don't
- 25:34really think I, I have this type of rituals, you know, I just go for it.
- 25:39The first one is, mm-hmm.
- 25:40You know, I, I really don't mind which one goes first, but, um, you know, before a
- 25:47race, I, I really like, you know, just to.
- 25:50Stay calm, you know, avoid stress, be with myself, maybe listen to some
- 25:54music, you know, just to disconnect from everything and everyone.
- 25:58Mm-hmm.
- 25:59Um, this year I've been trying to get used to, to, um, you know, stretch.
- 26:06Mm-hmm.
- 26:06Before every race.
- 26:07Because at the cart you get like many, many stress, you know, physical stress.
- 26:12Yeah.
- 26:12Maybe from a turn or this kind of stuff.
- 26:15So, um, yeah, I really like to stretch just to make sure I won't injure myself.
- 26:22And I also like to, um, we have these like lights and play with mm-hmm.
- 26:29Uh, so like, uh, how do you say it?
- 26:31Play with reaction?
- 26:32Yeah.
- 26:33Yes.
- 26:34Reaction test, something like, yes.
- 26:35Just to, um, you know, also train, um, your mind.
- 26:40Mm-hmm.
- 26:40You know, to.
- 26:42You know, get warm, you know?
- 26:43Mm-hmm.
- 26:43And yeah.
- 26:45Uh, when I'm already in the cart, you know, before getting out of track, you
- 26:49know, just to breathe and constantly remind that, you know, because sometimes
- 26:55we're really focused on what we are doing and we need to be concentrated
- 27:00in many stuff, you know, the turn or maybe the drive in front of us or behind
- 27:04of us, or maybe, uh, alongside us or.
- 27:09You know, paying attention at many things that sometimes we forget
- 27:13to breathe and to be relaxed, and that's when, uh, mistakes arrive.
- 27:18But yeah, you know, just to constantly remind myself to,
- 27:22to be calm, to breathe, and.
- 27:25While staying focused.
- 27:27So you just said think we got a lot of, uh, calm down, uh, our
- 27:32mind because when you're less stressed, you are more focused.
- 27:35Cool.
- 27:35And so can you give advice to girls who would like to, to car center jump into
- 27:40Formula Driver alongside with, with guys?
- 27:43So what advice give to them?
- 27:46So first of all, and I think that it's the most important thing, it's
- 27:51don't let your dreams leap away.
- 27:53You know, I think, um, that dreams are very important and that you
- 27:59always need to, to catch them.
- 28:01Hmm.
- 28:01And yeah, I mean, I think that a good first step is to go to the nearest carting
- 28:08track and, you know, ask for advice.
- 28:10You know, maybe talk to local drivers or maybe, um.
- 28:15Go to the local teams, you know, each one of them will have
- 28:19different, uh, things to offer.
- 28:21Mm-hmm.
- 28:22And after discussing with your family, and you can make a decision, you know, with
- 28:28the, the, the best decision for yourself.
- 28:32And yeah.
- 28:32But I think that always keeping in mind that there is always a way in,
- 28:38you know, and if the door doesn't open, there is always a window.
- 28:42So don't give up because there, there is always a way in, you know?
- 28:47Yeah.
- 28:47Here's a lot of opportune.
- 28:49Round out, not joining, uh, open wheelers, ut cars with
- 28:53some racing, which is moments.
- 28:55Uh, so yeah, a lot of different options.
- 28:57Track and inspire people, people as you help them as well.
- 29:01Uh, yeah.
- 29:02And I also think that, you know, being grateful with the people
- 29:06who support you, you know?
- 29:08Mm-hmm.
- 29:08Because at the end, it's a big family, you know?
- 29:11Um, your family is there, your friends are there.
- 29:16Obviously your team is there, but I also, um, would like to add that this, the, the
- 29:23support of sponsors is really important, you know, and I mean, car is very
- 29:29demanding at, at all levels and, you know, well, I'm always looking for new sponsors.
- 29:36I would like myself.
- 29:38Um, to thank and mention these two sponsors that been helping
- 29:42me throughout this year.
- 29:44Mm. Eh, we group that is a last Mile logistics company and WBA group.
- 29:51A leader in digital transformation.
- 29:54They're based in Spain, but they're operating worldwide.
- 29:58Worldwide.
- 29:59And I mean, they help companies grow and push boundaries, which is like the
- 30:04same spirit I carry with me in sports.
- 30:07So, yeah, I think that one of, um, the biggest, uh, advice I would
- 30:14give is to always be grateful because there is a huge family from
- 30:19behind that are supporting you and.
- 30:23Yeah.
- 30:23I think that without them, this wouldn't be possible.
- 30:27So yeah, always be great with this opportunity.
- 30:31Yeah, for sure.
- 30:32Uh, you're right.
- 30:33And also can tell, viewers can find you, like follow your career, going to
- 30:37see you in formal one and, uh, would like to see your way, your journey.
- 30:44Yeah.
- 30:44Yeah.
- 30:45Well, I mean, in social media, I am with the same name, with these.
- 30:51Fontana.
- 30:53Mm-hmm.
- 30:54Pretty much in every social media I have the same name, so, yeah.
- 30:58Okay.
- 30:59So just, uh, buy the naked and find, uh, yeah, pretty girl.
- 31:03Please follow it through.
- 31:05Thank you.
- 31:05Yeah.
- 31:06Once again, thank you so much.
- 31:08You're really positive.
- 31:09Uh, I like your wives.
- 31:11Uh, wish you luck in your racing career.
- 31:13And yeah.
- 31:14Thank you.
- 31:14Hopefully we're going to see you in formal one.
- 31:17Hopefully I'll be waiting for you.
- 31:20Yeah, no, but thank you for having me.
- 31:23Yeah, it's, it's a great opportunity and I'm, I'm really
- 31:25thankful with you guys for it.
- 31:27Yeah.
- 31:28Once for, for having the chance, you know, to, to talk with you.
- 31:31Yeah.
- 31:32Thank you so much, uh, for your time.
- 31:34See you.
